    My husband bought me it (10in rca pro tablet) for Christmas and it has been giving me problems since we got it.. It will freeze up then randomly disconnect from the internet.... Takes forever to connect it back.. Then it powered off one day with a 50% battery left. Well finally figured out to hit rest button to get it to turn back on. Well now it is stuck where it is saying it's charging all the time even when it's not plugged in and it's only charged to 48% in over 24 hrs. The device gets hot and still freezes more than it did before. It's more less a paper weight. I am not happy with this device. I had hubby get me a LG 7-in through our cell phone company and love it. Do not buy this tablet and if you have hope you have had better luck than me. I am wanting my money back or a different device. This is ridiculous. Even if it's cheap it should work.

    So disgusted, RCA couldn't even deal with the first battery explosion in a nice way. Now my other son's tablet has exploded. These should be recalled. We should start a class action lawsuit. I am wondering if these battery explosion could cause house fires or other personal damages, possibly contaminating the air. RCA is horrible!!! Nothing I bought that is RCA works properly.

    I purchased an RCA nine inch portable tv/dvd player from Fingerhut. Because I couldn't send it back to them they told me to contact RCA. I then called RCA service support. They told me I had to send it back so I did. After five months of their lies I received the product back. It was never touched, they said they repaired/replaced it but it was never done. I also purchased a two year extended warranty with it. I would like either a brand new one or the 200 dollars I paid for it refunded to me.

    Bought my tablet from Walmart 2/20/2015. Within 5 weeks and it wouldn't take a charge and was totally dead. Finally, after finding out that it exceeded the Walmart warranty RCA sent me a return UPS sticker. 4/15/15, I sent it ups to RCA repair and still no info on the repaired product. You'd think since it had so few hours on it, that they would instruct me to pick up a new one from the store. This is a tablet I decided to use to keep all of my work info on. They just told me I'll receive it in approximately 2 to 3 weeks. I also bought the extra warranty Asurion and that sounds like a huge waste of money.

    Purchased RCA (50 inch) television in May 2014 also bought the extended warranty... Well the television blacked out beginning of April. Called for service, explained the problem. It took them a week to send someone and when he arrived he was not able to fix the television. He just called and told them the same thing I had already explained to them before the rep arrived which then ended with me having to wait another week for the parts to arrive. Upon the arrival of the parts the repair rep comes back only now the parts still do not fix the television. So now the rep tells them we need to replace the television which means another 7 to 10 day wait. So the replacement arrived Thursday 4/23/15...

    Well today is Monday 4/27/15 and guess what? The replacement died from the same problem so you know I'm a bit frustrated then the customer service rep who claimed to be the manager had the nerve to tell me "things happen, it's only electronics." Ok so that encourages me to know they really could care less about my problems. Yes I became a bit angry and was a bit rude if I must say but she really made me upset when she said she decided that they won't service me because I was rude. Well last time I read my warranty nowhere on it does it state that the customer service rep can choose whether or not my equipment gets services. I do believe I paid for that.

    I have 2 RCA tablets that were purchase at Christmas. In January after a very minimal usage the tablet would not come on. It appeared to not accept a charge. I sent RCA about 7 emails and each time it suggested that I check out the help department for suggestions - none of which worked. I finally had someone email me asking for a my return authorization number. I told him I didn't have one. It sent a return authorization number and said they would replace the tablet with a new tablet when it the return was received but it would not be the original color (blue) because they may not have any. I said the black would be fine - I didn't care.

    The tablet was returned and they received it on 4/14. They have not sent a new tablet as told but in fact have sent it to Canada for repairs. To date it worked for about 20 days and has been broken for 93 days. The second tablet was a gift but I am afraid to gift it now. RCA's customer service is horrible. At one point RCA was the leader now they are the dregs on the industry.

    Got this tablet as an Christmas gift for my daughter. It was fully charged and just stopped working. The tablet won't turn on at all! Tried to reset and still nothing! I contacted RCA and still I've heard nothing from them-- $199 down the drain and little to none use. I'm very upset and so is my 9 year old daughter because now she has no tablet and we are a very low income family with little funds I saved to be able to purchase this tablet. I would like a new tablet or my money back! RCA is a ripoff product!

    I bought an RCA 10" tablet last December. It works fine but after 3 months it won't charge anymore. I went to Walmart Acworth where I bought it and nobody wants to help me there. They told me to go to the website of RCA but nobody is helping me there. Walmart should do their part in helping their customers. They are the one who sells the tablet and they are the one to be responsible on this part. RCA Customer Service are junk.

    I received this in end of February, beginning of March 2015. It worked great until last night when it no longer will charge or power online. I have seen many complaints about these and no one gets anywhere with RCA. I WOULD LIKE MINE FIXED OR REPLACED BUT CAN'T GET ANY RESPONSE.

    My daughter bought me the 10 in. tablet for Christmas. Has not worked properly since the 2nd week of using it. Doesn't charge half the time and the sound sometimes won't work if I've had my headphones in. Freezes up a lot, can't get it to power off. I've reset it a few times. Still won't work properly. Can't find legit numbers or contact info for RCA. From the research I've done they're quite a few, if not thousands of people with the same problems... Would like to find out how to refund my daughter's money for her. Very disappointed...

    Bought my 3 grandkids the 7 inch RCA with the keyboard case. The kids plugged them in to charge and when they turned on the screens have random lines throughout with no sound or picture. I'm in disability and don't have the money to replace. Kids are so upset. They are 7, 9 and 14. They used them for homework and entertainment. This is really sad as I thought RCA could be trusted. I also purchased online from Walmart. Of course they want you to deal with RCA.

    I have TWO pro10 Edition tablets. I purchased them for my kids on Christmas and today one just stopped working. It shut off and I cannot turn it back on and it will not charge. I have tried changing chargers and wall outlets and resetting, but I still get nothing. The second one has a lot of trouble charging, but it will if I hold the cord just right. I have googled the issue and there has been a lot of people with the same problem. So I called the company and got an extremely rude person trying to tell me it is my fault they won't charge and I have to pay to return the broken tablets before they'll replace them.

    I bought an RCA 10 tablet for my son in November and in 15 days it didn't work. It does and it does not turn on. I bought it at Walmart online. Apparently the charger also does not work. I worked hard for my child to have this tablet. My paid check is the minimum. I would want to get my money back or other tablet that works please. THANK YOU.

    I just bought a new RCA tablet. I only had it for 2 hrs when it turned off and wouldn't turn back on. I hit the reset button with a sewing needle and it came back on again. This should not happen, but if it does just hit the reset button. I have not had anymore problems with it since.

    Two weeks after purchase upon powering on the tablet, I noticed a bit of a glitch in screen, it turned black and white momentarily then returned to the loading screen. My friend purchased this tablet on a Black Friday sale from Walmart. He then gave it to me to give to my son. I was initially thrilled because buying a tablet for my son has always been out of the question, due to financial hardships as I am a single parent. Two months from the day of purchase, his tablet stopped responding to the on-off button. It took several attempts before getting it to execute command. No more than a week later, my son powered on tablet to find the screen only bars of white and grey - a completely useless device. The thing that is so bothersome is how little my son actually used the tablet, no more than a total of three hour in two months. I am very disappointed with this tablet, wish I had the receipt or the money to replace it for my son.

    After 2 months of light use, my RCA 10inch tablet would no longer turn on. Their service department said I would receive a replacement in 3-4 weeks and a UPS label to return my broken one. Checking back after 5 weeks I was told they would now ship it in another 1-2 weeks and I did receive a return label by Email. I shipped my broken tablet back, and now three weeks later, nothing. After reading of so many other similar complaints, I would definitely not buy an RCA product again.

    I bought three tablets as gifts this past Christmas. One for my 78 year old mother. Mine to take classes on, and one for my computer savvy teen. First I was not able to download classes on mine. It said It could not support the files which sucks due to the purchase being for the sole purpose of taking classes on it and not having to lug my laptop around. Then my mother's will not turn on. She played games on it, and was having a ball. Then one day she went out to remove it from the charger and it wouldn't turn on. She left it on the charger all day and still nothing. I have tried several times to turn it on and nothing. My son said he really doesn't use his that often but so far has had no problem. Why can't I get my mother's to turn on??? I gave her mine until I can figure it out but so far have not been able to find a number to call for help. It is of course still under the manufacture warranty, so I am stuck.

    I had a bit of trouble getting phone numbers but once I did everything went well. The screen on my tablet was broke which voids the warranty but I figured I would try to call RCA for help. The rep opened a ticket, gave me the information of where to send it to be fixed. I was only charged $30.00 and RCA paid the returned shipping. Within 4 weeks I received a replacement tablet in the mail. Also during the time I sent my tablet I was concerned if I mailed it correctly and if it was received. I call Venture Electronics and left a message. My phone call was returned within five minutes. I have seen so many bad reviews I felt obligated to post my good experiences with RCA and Venturer.

    I purchased 4-tablets, four different colors (Black, Blue, Pink, and Purple) RCA 10.1 Tablet 16GB Quad Core Bonus Keyboard/C: KitKat: between December 13 and 17, 2014, as Christmas gifts for four of my adult children. We did not open our gifts until December 30, 2014 and by January 25, 2015 one stopped working. The next week, another, and so on. I was able to reset one and it is working sporadically.

    I contacted RCA for repairs. I received an email instructing to send the first tablet to them, and if I would agree to have a different color, I said no, and explained I needed the exact one repaired or replaced. In addition, there was no information about shipping instructions for RCA to pay. When I replied to that email asking them how to send it to them without me paying, I did not receive a reply. I was ignored. However, reluctantly I followed their mailing instructions at my expense over four weeks ago, and I have not received any further information from them.

    Now that I have returned one and received no response, I am more fearful to send the other three tablets that are broken. As if I will not get them back in a timely fashion, and when I do, will either of them work properly. In my lifetime, I have never experienced, what I call reckless disregard for customers, customer service, and to sell defective products is just unfair.

    Furthermore, I have never had an electric device that broke within a few weeks of its operations that I can recall. To top that, I have never had to pay the return fee for repairs. I only wish that these reviews would have been posted prior to Christmas. Maybe it is was their mass productions, I do not know. What I do know is, I am unhappy as are my children and other customer.

    Today is March 24, 2015, and none of my children's tablets are working properly. Further, I am writing this review like others are, due to faulty products from a respectable large company. If there is anyone that can help us it would be greatly appreciated. It makes no sense for there to be so many people with the same issues on this site, and there are other sites full of complaints. At about $129.00 and $30.00 for the tablet and insurance, and the consumer pays the return expense, I can easily say that this faulty tablet has created RCA some real profit.

    The tablet was bad right out the box. It failed to power up. I had to worked through a very poor english speaker to have tablet returned for repair. Three weeks after the repaired tablet returned was returned it stopped charging. Now, the telephone number supplied with the tablet tell you to go to two websites, neither of which support the tablet or tell you how to turn it in. This vendor is making an overt attempt to discourage customers from returning their crappy products. This tells me to never again buy ANY RCA product. Complete farce. I'm waiting for the lawsuit to start so I can get in on it.

    Bought tablet 2/3/15 at a Walmart in Ridgeland Ms. Can't find my receipt (still looking) but from what I've read here will not do me any good anyway. I paid $149 plus tax and cannot afford to just lose that much money. This tablet did not even work a month, and all of a sudden it will not come on, will not take a charge. Talk to a local computer tech, he says take back to walmart or contact RCA. I've called them got a recording tell me to go to website. I live on fixed disability income.     I bought an RCA Voyager 7" Tablet on Black Friday (11-28-14). Less than four months later the screen has lines going through it. It's not usable at all! My son is devastated because he took such good care of his tablet. RCA won't help me because I don't have my receipt. Why does it matter? It's their product, they should fix their mistake! With as many similar complaints as I've seen we need to get a class action lawsuit going!

    Pro 10 Tablet will not turn on. I tried to call RCA, their voice mail said, "we are not taking calls". I have emailed them 11 times so far. I was told I will receive a new tablet in 10 days, it's been 19 so far. Now they want me to send my bad tablet to them and they will replace it. I have requested my money back. CLASS ACTION SUIT.

    Back in February the gift that came from Santa which was a Android version (Android 4.4, screen size: 9") stopped working. It's been 2 1/2 months of the run around and a horrible experience with all of the representative there at the return center. They all had a different answer for me. I'm still waiting for someone to resolve my return. Please if someone is reading this that can help me get my replacement ship to me, I would be more than grateful and my daughter will be a happy little girl. And please retrain that whole department.     Purchased tablet like all you other folks and now I am getting the run-around from RCA... I WANT MY MONEY BACK... will never buy RCA junk again ever! They told me they sent a replacement and then a week later told me I have to send my old one back and will not send replacement until they get it!!! DO NOT BUY THIS TABLET. IT IS WORTHLESS...     I purchased a tablet for my 7 year old son. Never opened it until about a week or two later. I downloaded some games on it for him. He played with for TWO DAYS. He turned it off and it NEVER turned back on. I am so disappointed. I thought with the name RCA that this wouldn't happen. I'm not only disappointed with them but from reading these comments this issue isn't new and the situation isn't being handled properly, and they are still selling them at Walmart to rip more people off.

    Purchased an RCA 10.1" Tablet 16GB Quad Core with Keyboard/Case (RCA RCT6203W46) from Walmart in November 2014, prior to Black Friday as a Christmas present. Tablet was used from 12/25/14 until 3/12/15. Had been having problems with performance for about 2 weeks when the tablet powered off and would not power back on. Attempts to reset per the RCA user manual were unsuccessful. Unable to return the tablet due to Walmart's return policy. Called the RCA telephone numbers on the user manual and was directed by a recording to www.RCAtablets.com. Went to www.RCAtablets.com and could not find any way to contact RCA and the "support" section only gave me general FAQ. Based upon the number of complaints I am seeing online, I believe Walmart and RCA should be held responsible for selling defective merchandise.

    As I read in the other reviews/complaints the 10" RCA tablet that I purchased doesn't turn on and apparently doesn't charge either. I purchased this before Christmas for my son so we've only had it a couple months and it stops working. I'm a single parent with two children, needless to say money is tight. Nothing irritates me more than feeling like I've wasted my hard earned money. Very disappointed in RCA's quality and service.

    RCA 10.5 tablets with board - HORRIBLE products. Purchased 2 for my kids with extended warranty. 4 days after using, 1 went bad. RCA support - there is none. Took over a month to get new tablet. 1.5 months later, other tablet bad and still no help. Now first tablet board doesn't work. Save your money and buy something else.

    SO, like everybody else, my tablet stopped working before a month was up. I was told it would take 3-4 weeks for a new one to arrive, but of course... nothing. Talking to customer service at walmart, they told me they have received numerous complaints. SO why haven't they removed the products from their website? And why is RCA still selling them, knowing they are defective. And where is the class action law suit? My email is **, if you have info!

    Tablet was gift. 4 weeks later, wouldn't turn on. Walmart would not take back, friend could not find receipt. Send email to SH - the company they said will send new 1 in 10 days, it has been about 3 weeks. Called Cust. Serv. 35 times in one day, NO answer, just says "cannot take your call right now" have to have return number to CK on anything. Sent a reply to the one I got, said it is still being processed, has NOT EVEN BEEN SENT!!!!!!! **! HORRIBLE CRAP TABLET AND CUST. SERV. PAYING FOR INTERNET, CANNOT EVEN USE!!! They don't care!!! Do not buy from this co. and tell everyone else!!!

    I also purchased the RCA Pro 10 tablet on Black Friday at Wal-Mart. It was a gift. It worked great for 5 wks. Then it suddenly and completely died. It had a full charge. It had been gently used. It would not turn on even with attempts at reset. We first stopped by our local Office Depot to talk to their tech who has always been very helpful. He attempted a hard reset then told us to take it back. We took it back to Wal-Mart with the receipt and the extended warranty paperwork. Wal-Mart's customer service would not help. They said we have to deal directly with the manufacturer. We sought out an associate in their electronics department to see if we might get a different answer but received a "Sorry but no" from him also.

    So we went home and tried the phone #s listed for RCA customer service and eventually reached someone. We gave them the serial#, store#, register#, and every other # imaginable. Ridiculously, they gave us a new # that we would have to use on their website in order to get any help. We did that. Since then I've received a few emails that seem to be a runaround. The recent emails come from **. First they say they have not received the Serial # etc or any of that info and I tell him I've given all of that info to them twice. Then he says they will send a shipping label for repair/replacement but it never comes. I do not want a replacement or a repair from them since reading the reviews on this product and seeing how many are having like experiences, I have told him that. I want my money back. I fear we are dealing with a shady company and I'd like to add that I'm very disappointed in Wal-Mart over this as well.

    I purchased two RCA 10-inch tablets with keyboard case from Walmart during Black Friday sales. I gave them to my daughters for Christmas. Within one week I had one that wouldn't charge or power on. I contacted WalMart and they did send me a replacement one. It worked fine for about 2 weeks then would not connect to wifi. I did reset which seems to have fixed that problem. The other tablet quit playing sound unless earphones were plugged in within 4 weeks. No big deal, but as of now it has quit charging and will not power on. I was told it was too late for replacement. Now that I have read more reviews with similar problems I will NEVER purchase this brand again!! TOTAL RIPOFF!!!!

    My daughter was given this tablet for a Christmas gift. It was purchased on Black Friday 2014. After using the tablet a couple of times, the battery showed to be low, so the device was powered off and placed on the charger only to not charge and never power on again. Called the RCA customer service number, only to be told to contact them by web. Went to the website and was told to send an email in regards to my issue. Needless to say I am still waiting on a reply from my email. Will be contacting the BBB about RCA.

    Got a RCA tablet, it won't charge or turn on, the reset button tried that. It does nothing, called the phone number, this guy tells me go to web.     I purchased this 32" TV/DVD combo from KMart in 2013 for husband's birthday. The DVD player has never worked properly but something we didn't use as much as we thought we would. We would put a DVD in and it would get stuck, would not play and was near impossible to get out. I would say we may have watched 2 DVDs that worked correctly and even those created an issue ejecting from player.

    2/24/2015 I turned on the TV in the AM to a white screen, voice is available but nothing else. I have tried to return to KMart but they said it has been too long. So, I am contacting RCA to ask... what crappy products do you put out to pay $300 and only get a short years use of it. And ARE YOU GOING TO STAND BEHIND THIS MAJOR ISSUE OF FAULTY PRODUCTS??

    I bought the tablet in December and it won't charge at all. It's not even 3 months old. When I contacted customer service the woman I spoke to barely spoke English and I had an extremely hard time understanding her to which she got very rude about because I kept having to ask her to repeat what she was saying. They said I had to go to their website and fill out a form to which I should receive a response by email. After reading all these complaints I don't have much confidence that it's going to be fixed. It sounds like there's some kind of defect because everyone is having the same problem.

    I had 4 RCA flat screen TVs in my home. 1 got the screen broke. So I just went online and ordered another one assuming it would work the same as our other RCAs we have. I was wrong! No tuner means no digital channels. Called and was informed that they had changed and I needed to get a digital converter box. Took TV back and bought one that works fine with the direct cable from our wall. I will never purchase an RCA TV again.

    I purchased a RCA 46" Flat Screen Television after Xmas 2012 and put it on lay away at Kmart in Elkhart Indiana. I finished paying for it and brought it home in March, 2013. Due to family medical business, I moved to Illinois to care for my elderly parents. The TV was never taken out of the box, and stored in a climate control unit with my other valuables. I moved back to Indiana in mid August, 2014 and finally opened the box to my new TV. After enjoying it through mid December 2014 I started getting lines on the right side of the screen. Then it would go to snow. Then black screen. And again back to lines.

    I have tried to contact RCA to inquire to how to fix it, where to fix it (as a local TV repair store will not touch it) or if I could send it in to them for repairs. I called in December, January 2015, and now February. I have left numerous messages and have gotten the run around from each person I talk to with no one able to help. Just pass the buck. Finally today I got in touch with them to be told I waited too long, there is nothing they can do about it, the problem is that the screen is bad and RCA does not want to fix it. Instead they said to buy another TV and throw this one out.

    I am on disability with limited funds. I feel that if they know they have bad screens, then when a consumer contacts them they should either fix the problem, replace the TV or split the cost of repairs with me. I do not recommend RCA for any products. It is not like the old days when they valued you as a customer, a returning customer no less. BUYER BEWARE!

    I bought two RCA Voyager tablets for my sons for Christmas. Not even two months later neither one is working. First issue was they were having a hard time charging. Then one tablet will only bring up a white screen with lines all through it. The second tablet the little metal piece in the charger port actually split in half and will not charge. It seems to me by the many bad reviews that these products are defective. RCA has made a substantial amount of money off of these and of course they don't have a warranty. To me this shows they knew it was a bad product and we the consumers spent hard earned money on something that for some people didn't even last a week. Someone should file a class action lawsuit against them.

    RCA 22" TV/DVD Combo - I purchased an RCA TV through Finger-hut. First mistake. I purchased it early for Christmas last year. I didn't open the TV to make sure it worked ok, until just before Christmas. By then it was past the 90 day return deadline. 2nd Mistake. The TV had numerous pixels burnt out. It is now near the end of February and I just barely was able to reach RCA support after 3 emails and 6 or so phone calls. I have to pay for the shipping, and they are going to replace my TV with a "similar" item which is refurbished. This is unacceptable. I paid for a New TV but I get a used, refurbished TV in return. Lesson learned. Do not buy a TV online and absolutely do NOT buy an RCA TV. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

    We bought 2 of these tablets from Wal-Mart on Black Friday. Also after reading the other complaints I can't believe RCA isn't recalling these...     I purchased a 7" tablet from Walmart on a Black Friday sell for my daughter. It worked fine for about 1 year as she used it lightly. She had stopped playing on it for about 2 weeks and when she went to get it so I could put it on the charger we noticed the battery has expanded (off charge and at room temp). I called RAC to get a replacement on 1/6/2015. I was told I would receive my replacement in 3-4 weeks. I received a call on 1/22/2015 and was told they needed the serial number again. I gave that to them and was told the tablet would be shipped out that day or the following day. I never received anything.

    I called back on 2/2/2015 and spoke with Carol. She told me that I would receive my tablet in 1 week. I never received it once again. I called back today and was told that they needed the serial number again. I told them they already had the number as I gave it to them twice. He then told me that he needed 48 hour to make it a "high priority case" and I should call back in 14 days to check the status. I told him no that was unacceptable and I wanted to speak with a supervisor and I was placed with another agent who was suppose to be a supervisor. He told me to email my ticket number and serial number to this email address and I would receive an email in 1 week. I just don't know what to do from here since all I have received is the runaround.

    Purchased this RCA tablet online at Walmart just before Christmas for $99.00. Thought it was a great deal - just came out on market with Kit Kat system. It had good reviews and the price was right. I went to use it in Feb with 50% battery charge. It came on and blacked out continuously. I could not get past the logo screen. Tried for days-read all the online "fixes"-nothing worked. Tried calling RCA service for a week straight - just got the recording saying that someone would assist me shortly.     I WAS Given a RCA tablet 10 in w/ keyboard for Christmas 2014. It wasn't wanting to connect and then it finally did. It only lasted approx 5 weeks and then lost all power it will not turn on or even charge. I read the pamphlet they sent in box and connected RCA, I did speak with a rep, on 2-5-15. He said go to RCA.com/ repair and enter info. I did RCA sent me a email stating that they will send me a shipping label, I also scanned and sent them my receipt via e mail.     I had purchased an RCA 10" tablet from Walmart on the date of November 27th during their Black Friday blowout sales as a Christmas gift for the family. The tablet I had purchase had never been open until the day of Christmas and my family absolutely love the product, that is until the morning of February 8, 2015, when the product refused to turn on after being charged overnight. And I'm the type of customer that owns up when at fault because I work in retail myself and I can completely understand the position but walmart return policy on electronics is completely preposterous.

    They claim that their return policy on all electronics or 15 days after the date of purchase which actually extends after the day of Christmas if purchased prior to the date.     We purchased 2 of the 10" tablets for Christmas. Less than a week after opening them at Christmas one of them just quit working. Contacted RCA through the web site and they said a replacement was on its way along with a return label for the bad one. Told it would arrive in 10 days. Has been 25 days. Every time you try to call there is a different reason why they can't come to the phone.

    I have sent several more e-mails with no reply back from them. I sent one yesterday telling them I was going to contact the BBB and today I get another e-mail from them just like the first one saying their sending a replacement and so on just like the first. "Will arrive in 10 days." Have called every phone number I can find on the internet to contact RCA and you can't talk to a real person to save your life.     Bought this tablet for a Christmas gift. Bought it November 21, 2014, and gave it for Christmas. It lasted about 3 weeks, would not power up again. I called customer service and was thrilled when the recording was in perfect understandable English, no foreign accent. However my excitement was short lived when in perfect English the voice told me to go to the website for assistance.

    Being the perfect Lemming that I am, that is what I did. I contacted customer service and was given the obligatory "we have received your concern and are looking into the matter.     CLASS ACTION SUIT REQUESTED. I bought my grandson, who lives with me, an RCA 10 in tablet w/ keyboard on 12-13-14, from Wal-Mart, for Christmas. He opened this on 12-25-14 and would use this maybe an hour or two a day. Yesterday 2-5-15, when the battery was getting low, we shut it down and plugged it in. A few hours later this would not power on at all. We even tried to reset with the button to no avail.

    In contacting Wal-Mart store #2986, the limited warranty is only 15 days and I was to contact RCA. After trying to contact RCA, I got no response and the complete run around.     I purchase a Pro 10 Edition for Christmas in the month of December and it stopped working. On Jan.23 2015 was on it and it just went blank. I thought the battery was dead tried plugging it up.     Pro 10 edition tablet - The tablet was a Christmas gift and worked fine for the 5 weeks it was hardly used. The battery started to die last night so I plugged it in but it didn't show that it was charging. I left it for an hour or so to charge only to find that it was completely dead. It wouldn't reboot by holding the power button or the reset button.

    I called customer service and was on hold for 30 minutes when a man with a thick accent greeted me. I had a hard time understanding him and he got frustrated with me because I asked him to repeat himself. I was polite up until that point in time.     I purchased a RCA Pro-10 tablet for Christmas 17 December. First off the keyboard wouldn't seat on the pins in the case, I had to put a piece of thick card board under the lower right hand corner to make keyboard stay on. Then yesterday when I turned it on, screen would come one with the RCA dogs and about every 15 seconds would flash right back to that screen. I tried to rest it by pushing the reset button on the back. That made the screen go blank and not do anything.

    I called 1-800-855-475-9646. I could barely understand the person on the phone from some foreign country. They said they are sending me a new one in 2 to 4 weeks. I guess the thing bothering me is why isn't the Consumer Protection management doing something to protect the consumer. A lot of folks are having the same problems and even when sent a new one they are getting the same problem on the ones they send to replace the ones that are bad.

    First of all, like most of your consumers, I find myself holding (the bag) for lack of a better term regarding your tablet. I too, purchased your RCA tablet after Wal-Mart employee recommended its quality and performance. Due to my lack of technical expertise, I trusted the word of someone working in this department and also after hearing the honesty and warranty that went along with my purchase. Also in the same shoes as your other consumers, this tablet quit functioning after one months of use. It does not power up. Returning it to Wal-Mart tonight with anticipation of an upgrade and return, I am told of the Wal-Mart's return policy which is close to null and void.

    I have been taught a valuable lesson, do not shop at Wal-Mart and do not purchase RCA as they make it impossible for a consumer to get satisfaction. Being senior citizens, we trusted that the name RCA stood for something. The Wal-Mart employee had a better name for your product, they referenced it as "junk". So now what do we do?!!?     In November 2014 we bought a RCA 10 tablet from Wal-Mart. In January it quit working like all the other RCA tablets you read about. Wal-Mart policy is that I had to return it to Wal-Mart before 15 days after Christmas and after that I had to return it to RCA. Unfortunately it worked a few days after this date. RCA support is India and good luck in getting a replacement. Meanwhile Wal-Mart continues to sell them.

    Pro 10 tablet w/keyboard folio - I bought my grandson this tablet on black friday for christmas. I was so excited to get it for him. On christmas morning he was thrilled and told me it was his best christmas present ever. He used it everyday and was so careful when he was done with it or charging it.     Purchased 65 inch T1000 Model PR4165R60600 with Roku Streaming - Purchased this TV from Shop HQ on 1/3/15. No disclaimer from shopping network or manufacturer that this was limited series. TV arrived damaged and neither SHOP HQ or the manufacturer could replace this TV. I am told by several persons after 5 hours of phone calls that they will refund my payment upon receipt of the returned TV. I want a replacement TV, a refund is not going to correct the issue. As a consumer and a vendor myself, I purchase products in good faith with an reasonable expectation that the product or service is of value.

    I waited over 3 weeks for delivery for the TV to arrive. Waiting several weeks for a refund does not help with the Super Bowl Game or my being able to have the TV that we wanted. A disclaimer should have been posted on the show to advise consumers that replacements were not going to be available, then I could have chose not to purchase a product that I was fully aware could not be exchanged because of a manufacturing defect which is beyond my control. I have purchased TV's in the past from HSN and QVC and NEVER had an issue, so my advise is BUYER BEWARE when shopping from SHOP HQ.

    Do not purchase TV's as you will be extremely disappointed with their customer service and total lack of respect and professionalism to the public. The manufacturing agent did at least call me back and tell me that they were not sure when they were going to remanufacture this unit. At least someone showed some modicum of customer service. Again BEWARE of Shop HQ, look for other vendors so you will not be disappointed as we are.

    I purchased an RCA tablet last year for my husband for Christmas. It worked great and he was really happy with it until June 2014, when it just wouldn't turn on.

    After hearing him complain that he wanted another tablet, I got him another RCA tablet 16 GB, dual camera and keyboard. Which he loved again!! My only mistake was buying him another RCA brand!! As of today, it won't turn on! I'm very frustrated as is he, but I am going to try to return it to Walmart, where I purchased it. I would think that someone would be able to monitor the useless junk that RCA sells and it should be illegal. I remember when I was younger, that RCA was a trusted name. Not anymore though...     RCA ought to go out of business after putting a product like this on to the market. I've only owned this product for two months and I have used it very lightly. Nonetheless, I have encountered numerous problems with the device. Any of which should have been enough for RCA to never have let this tablet get beyond product testing.

    For starters, the sound is awful and the picture quality is horrible, and that's when the screen is actually working, which is only about 90 percent of the time. After just two months, my battery no longer holds a charge, and the tablet often will not run even while it's plugged into the charger! Some kind of glue is seeping out from behind the screen. The keyboard that comes with it at Walmart only operated properly for about a day or two. The software is extremely glitchy. This product is an absolute train wreck and I really hope it puts RCA out of business. Do not, under any circumstances, purchase this tablet.

    First I would like to let it be known that I am putting together a class action lawsuit against RCA/ProScan/Curtis International. If you want part, email me **. Now for the review. I bought a TV from this company and it caught fire in my home. When I was able to get in contact with Curtis International: Frank **- Customer Service Manager. Curtis International Ltd. 315 Attwell Drive Toronto, ON M9W 5C1 Off: 416-674-2123 ext ** Fax: 416-642-0673 I had to talk him into accepting the warranty!

    He only sent me a label, and did not sent me a shipping box as per agreement. When I emailed the issue to him he responded that since Curtis was going to upgrade my TV for all the havoc it caused, they felt I should produce the shipping box and padding. I felt obligated to agree to fulfill HIS obligation and it took some time for me to obtain what was needed to ship their unit back to them. Once it was sent, FEDEX held it at customs for a couple weeks and found that Curtis had given me the wrong label and paperwork! They called Curtis and Curtis refused to give them the information needed to pass the unit through customs!

    The unit was sent back to me, but because of the wrong label, it was not dropped off, and was again sent to customs. At this point we have hit 3 and a half months thanks to RCA/ProScan. Now, I was able to make many phone calls and do all of Franks work along with RCA/ProScan, and got it through customs and it arrived 1/22/2015. (RCA/ProScan did not like this.) Now today I had to contact Frank ** the "Customer Relations Manager."

    This is the type of people you deal with if you buy RCA/ProScan. Also, if you would like to contact me in order to stop this kind of corruption, email me **. This matter started on 9/23/2014 and today is 1/23/2015. This is not the only company that does this. Turns out, this is a thing with Electronic Companies that sell to the USA but are based in Canada. (Legal loopholes) But I have dealt with many consumer affair issues before. And the whole thing with not being able to send the packages back, that appears to be on purpose according to other sources. Interesting uh?

    Got this 10 inch iTablet for a gift. It ran great for 2 weeks. Began to run slow. I turned it off and put the power connect on. When I woke I want to tune in on, it would not. Everything I NOW have read all said this is typical. Well, kewl... If you enjoy spending 160 bucks for 2 weeks of use, I suggest this. If you want a real tablet, seek another. I'm very disappointed in this. Thank God I'm an adult. The kids out there receiving this have no choice and can't return, which is the other joy of buying. You can't take them back...Never again...RCA isn't fair and doesn't back their crap!

    RCA 10" tablet pro edition - I ordered it on black Friday from Wal-Mart. On Christmas Eve it froze up on me. Cannot get it to charge. Wal-Mart would not take it back. I have emailed RCA, but they are giving me the run around. Told me I would receive a new one plus shipping label to send the broken back. Been 2 weeks and nothing. I would advise everyone not to buy a RCA tablet. If I had got on the internet and read upon them first I would never have bought this one. I am very disappointed in RCA.

    The tablet worked fine when new. 3 months later it's not anything like it was. I haven't downloaded anything. It constantly freezes up. The speaker system doesn't work very often. When it does, you can't hardly hear it. Another problem is the Google operating system. It is always constantly updating. This has ate up about 1/3 of my hard drive already. That's not good for a device that is slow already. It has made it even slower. Contacting RCA tech support is a waste of time. They just say do a reset on it. I have, yet the same things keep happening. They do not respect the consumer who buys their products. No help at all. I would not recommend the RCA 10" Pro Tablet for anybody. A lot of money wasted on a useless tablet. I wish that your agency would pursue RCA for defective products. Why not a product recall or a consumer refund for all who have lost out on their purchases. We are able to fight large corporations like this. Only you can help us.

    RCA Pro 10" with keyboard - Bought three of these tablets for Christmas of 2014. One went out January the 13th, the next one went out January the 15th and the third one went out the 19th of January. These were Christmas presents for me and my family. These items are defective. Consumer Affairs needs to demand a recall on these tablets. Wish I could hire an attorney and rip RCA a new one for the disappointment that my family has had to endure. I am NOT a rich man and can not afford to buy new tablets for my loved ones. I can't even get a response from Anyone at Rca. Thanks RCA for bringing such disappointment to me and those that I cherish and from what I have read on here to a whole lot of other families as well!

    Just got a pro 10 tablet for Christmas, after 2 weeks it will not charge at all. It just went dead. Got in touch with RCA. They had me try all ways of charging it, use my phone charger, use my computer, change what outlet I used to charge it. Still nothing. Called back, they are supposed to be sending me a new one, which will take 3-4 weeks, then I am to send the old one back. So we will see. The customer service persons I spoke with were very hard to understand, did not speak English very well. Sounds weird that they would just send me another one without me sending in the old one.

    First of all, I'm not going to be too inconsiderate because I called RCA and the representative was calm and answered all my questions. But he said he couldn’t help me fix the tablet he said I just have to buy another one when that's not right. I feel that's wasting money on a brand new tablet. I have to just throw it away. My point of this is there should be a solution to fix a small problem like it not rebooting or the tablet not charging because that's not our fault that something's wrong with their product and instead of telling us we just have to purchase another one they should manufacture it right the first time cause two weeks is too soon for a brand new RCA tablet to just stop working.     I purchased 2 tablets on from walmart.com as Christmas gifts for two family members. And thought is was a great buy. After two weeks my sister informed me that the tablet that I had given her for Christmas stopped working for no apparent reason. She said after using the tablet one night she shut it down. In the morning she tried to start it up and it just would not turn on and so the gift that I gave my sister was returned back to me. Tablet number 2, the keyboard cannot be used at all.     Purchased a 10.1 in RCA pro 10 tablet on Black Friday as a gift. This tablet worked for three weeks then got stuck in a boot loop where it was stuck on the RCA screen.     I bought my son a tablet for Christmas through walmart.com and it no longer will power on. It is not scratched or damaged and has not been dropped but because I bought it earlier in the Christmas season it is apparently out of the exchange/return period and they would not let me swap it or return it and referred me to RCA customer service. Well when you call their so called customer service line you are not able to speak to a person at all and you are referred to their website which is not helpful at all. At best you can put info and hope for an email back.

    I think it's a poor excuse for customer service and unfair to the consumers that purchase these products and are stuck with them. And to beat all the lady at customer service in Walmart says they are having a lot of people trying to return these faulty tablets. I think RCA needs to step up their game, be responsible and have actual customer service, not hide behind a website that goes in circles.

    Phoned 800 number and was told nothing could be done for me because I didn't check the set while it was under warranty. I have had many RCA televisions through the years and did trust their product. I know I should have checked the TV but since it was new in box I think I should be able to return the set. Tech support could check to see it is still new, never used and give me a new one. The TV was bought at Best Buy Longview, TX. I believe this is a common problem for this model.

    A few weeks before Christmas 2014, I bought & ordered online from Wal-Mart for my daughter the Pink 10 Inch Screen w/Multi-Touch RCA Tablet w/Keyboard Folio. It’s the Pro 10 edition which features 1.5GHz Quad Core Processor, Built in 16 GB of Flash Memory Storage, Protective Case, Bluetooth, Dual Camera's (front & rear facing), Mini HDMI Output Port, Battery Life up to 6 hrs., Auto Rotation, Micro USB & SD Card Slot up to 32 GB, etc. She was so excited on Christmas day to receive her new tablet. She used it daily for school work, entertainment, etc. She had it less than 3 weeks when all of a sudden it just stopped working for no reason & would not turn on. It was completely dead... There was no damage whatsoever or anything to provoke the problem.

    I called Wal-Mart first since it was ordered through their company & as I was explaining the problem when the employee immediately asked if it was an RCA Tablet? I replied yes & he responded that most of the same exact tablets I purchased have had the same exact problems & were also returned. They are sending a new one out to me immediately which I have reservations because if so many of the same products are all having problems, I really expect the new one to be no different. I will try it one more time & if anything goes wrong I want my money replaced & will never buy another RCA product again. I'm extremely disappointed because I've always believed RCA was a great product & now my opinion has changed. I will update on the New Tablet when I receive it. Right now I'm not expecting it to be much different.

    Received the RCA 10" tablet for Christmas and it worked O.K. for the first few days but would run slow when browsing. It started to freeze up so I made sure all the updates were done. It didn't seem to run much better after that. I hardly used the tablet and by day 9 it froze again so I powered it off and it never came back on. Had it plugged into charger for full day, even used different outlets, and still would not come back on. I understand "lemons" happen but I don't want to take the chance of the next tablet "dying" on me after the store's return policy expires and who has time to spend hours on phone with tech support? Like the internet say about it this TV - got a very nice picture, a few input and output ex admi 2 time that the basic of a tv but they are fragile and easy to burn.     My daughter purchased me the RCA 7" tablet online. When delivered, it worked for all of an hour then it started freezing up. Reset it by holding on button for under a minute. that worked for all of 30 minutes. Then the tablet shut off completely. Tried to turn it back on. You can hear the tablet, its on. you can hear notifications and all, you just can't see anything. The screen will not come on. We chose RCA, because it was a trusted brand at one time. RCA has conformed to producing quantity and not quality. And that's a shame, because RCA has been top, in my opinion, in electronics for decades.

    My wife and I purchased 2 RCA tv's (40" LED40G45RQ) back in June to get a head start on Christmas presents. The tvs have been sitting in our closet untouched and unmoved for 6 months. We thought we were ahead this year and were worry free for Christmas. Yesterday on Christmas day they unwrapped their new tv's and were so excited. Later on that day they left to go visit their Grandma and Grandpa with their Mom. I stayed behind to mount their new tv's on their walls as a surprise. When I took the tv out of the box I noticed the screen was shattered and the metal frame in the back was bent. After inspecting the box I had noticed there was a vertical crease on the box as if it had been folded.

    Today, the day after Christmas, I spoke with a lady at RCA and she said there was nothing they could do since the tv's were purchased 6 months ago. I mentioned that they are selling broken merchandise and I will be filling a complaint. She said "do what you gotta do." So, here I am with one good tv, one bad tv, and two kids. My lesson has been learned. Do not buy RCA products. They sell broken merchandise and then throw their hands up in the air as if they are the mafia. Not to mention the cold hearted customer service and an unforgettable experience that will forever change my feelings towards a long standing company that has been around since I was a kid.

    My RCA 1080 Full HD TV 46" is probably one of the most well-made and designed products I have ever purchased. It has provided me with countless hours of enjoyment. Where do I start? The picture is brilliant. Remote is easy to navigate. If you lose the remote, no problem since the side buttons will control all of the functions. But, one of the most attractive features involves the unit's versatility. The TV has the following inputs: 3 HDMI, 2 component, coaxial TV, PC, audio-visual analog. All work extremely well. Great audio outputs, also... You will want to connect this TV to a sound system or sound bar because as with all TVs of this sort, you just can't get much sound out of the set's speakers. I have my set connected to a great audio system and, combined with the great picture, is a fine experience. My kids and I have used it non-stop for several years. Manufactured in 2011, I know this product will provide many years of reliable service. Don't get pulled in by boutique and overpriced brands. Try RCA!

    I bought a RCA 42" flat screen tv a few years ago and I ordered it online. When it was shipped, I noticed the box was ripped, so I looked at the Tv before Fedex left, and notice the screen was cracked. I called them and said I was not going to accept it and send it back with fedex. They said they would send me another one out. They sent one, I was pleased at first and a few months down the line, the pixels all started going out on the right side of the screen, then it had a black screen saying D12, no channel is recognized. Next, the volume goes all the way up to 100 on its own and when you tried to turn it down, it goes up all by itself. So I went to the setup option to reset it, thinking it would help it out, and all the options scroll up and down on its own. The price you pay for that tv and it doesn't last not even a year, and no one to help you is bad. I remember back in the day, I had a RCA console tv and it lasted for years, I don't know why the company went down like it did. They don't choose to help their customers and it's not fair. I think if someone opened a law suit and everyone can join in on it, we can all have our fairness and teach a company that it's not right to take advantage of people when we are not at the best economy. I hope something is done one day.

    We had an RCA LED40C45RQ 40" 1080p 60Hz LED HDTV delivered a few days ago. Finally setting it up and, making popcorn to watch the Sunday games, I got very upset at RCA. I chose RCA because they have been around for a long time. Anyway, the left side of screen,10 inches, is black with lines running vertically, and a squiggly line from the left side to, to the center of screen.     I BOUGHT A SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM THIS YEAR, AFTER A COUPLE MONTHS OF THE PURCHASE IT STARTED TELLING ME THE DISC WAS UNKNOWN OR THERE IS NO DISC IN THERE. I CALLED RCA and they said I would have to pay $40 to have it fixed because that manufacturing date was July 2013. I purchased it in march or April of 2014, it has a 1 year warranty. RCA has always been a good brand but if that product starts messing up before you've had it 1 year they should fix it for free. The warranty should start at that time of purchase not when it was manufactured. I'm highly pissed because I paid almost $200 dollars for a product that doesn't work 95% of the time.

    My daughter gave me an RCA 7 inch tablet for Christmas 2013. I was thrilled to receive it. I kept the screen protector and cover on at all times. In May I noticed that it was not responding well and that it seemed to be coming apart around the edges. It kept going off and not holding a charge till it got to the point that it wouldn't work at all unless it was plugged up. The battery pack is puffed up and it feels unsafe to use. My daughter feels bad because she knows how much I can use a tablet and I'm very disappointed with the quality of this product.

    I bought it brand new February 26 2011. 46 inch rca and it started this half screen black. I had a warranty for 2 years on this thing. Tvs use to last 10 to 15 years. I had a lcd prior and the volume went. I think the government needs to step in on this crap. Where is the quality assurance.

    My husband bought a 10 inch RCA tablet from Wal-Mart in Sept. It worked ok when it was purchased. We haven't had it 90 days and it decided not to power on after a full charged battery. We went back to Wal-Mart and their return policy states that we had 15 days from the date of purchase to return or exchange it. The customer service rep told us to contact RCA warranty dept for further assistance. So we called RCA and they said for us to ship it to them and they would look at it and we had to pay the shipping charges. They said it would take 4-6 weeks. If they couldn't fix it then they would make a decision on replacing it. So our dilemma sits with a tablet that doesn't work and a company who isn't taking responsibility. My brother-in-law also bought one and it did the same thing within 4 days of purchase. All we want is our money back.

    On 7/12/04 I purchased a RCA 47" LED HDTV from Best Buy. On 8/16/14 we came home to find the TV hanging by its cord and the base still sitting on top the TV stand. This is were it gets good. We call Best Buy and they inform us that I can't bring the TV into the store because they can't handle any TV issues larger than 42" (but they have no problems sending them out the same door), call the Geek Squad. After an exhausting hour on the phone with the geeks I find to my amazement that they will not come to my house to look at an defective product without me first paying a $100.00 service fee...(now I truly feel like I have been dry humped). So, down the digital highway I go to find my next disappointment. I didn't have to travel far, to the RCA hotline! We all know the joy to be had when calling a place where no one actually answers a phone.

    I could tell you all bout the personal hell I endured, but I think we have all been there. I found that I need to contact a 3rd party service center that works directly for OnCorp. Now to tell you that not all in this story are ass munches. The date is now 11/21/14 and I have A&E Services coming to look at the TV. From the Phone call to them till they left my home I felt we may have a ray of hope that my journey may finally be coming to an end. AHHH, but sadly that did not come to pass.

    The service tech said it was obviously a cheap design and he took pictures and sent them to RCA. He also said I should call RCA (Oncorp) after Thanksgiving to follow up with them for a replacement TV. So as instructed, I called Oncorp today and they have no record of any of this. There are no words nasty enough for the rage that has befallen me. But have no Fear, the RCA hotline is here to help. I will finish with, tonight I will take pictures of the damage again and this time send them myself to the RCA gods and hope this time I will be heard. I will let you know how it works out.

    Don't buy one ever! After purchasing 3, it wasn't worth what I spent. Should've bought an iPad & saved the grief. Repairing one would cost the same as rebuying one.     I will be very accredit..I bought my RCA in Nov 2012. Has worked good till the past few weeks. Picture kept going out but sound stayed on. Carried it to TV repair place after RCA said they couldn't help me since warranty was out. They charged 40 bucks to check it out. Needs 5 back lights. Now they want to charge me 100 bucks for the lights and 200 to put them in. I paid over 600 for the TV. This is an insult that RCA would make such expensive machines that won't work longer than 2 years. I will never buy another one from RCA. And they were my favorites, till now. This company has lost more than a few customers and I am one of them. TV is still at the shop. I can't afford to fix it but I will bring it home. Thanks for nothing.

    My grandson received an RCA Tablet a little over a month ago for his birthday. The tablet just stopped working. It will not charge, or turn on. We bought a warranty but my son misplaced the paperwork and no one can help us. RCA has the worse customer service. You call the number that is listed and they tell you to go onto the website. When you try to contact anyone, you are constantly redirected and no one ever answers. My family will never purchase another product from this company as they do not back up their products. If you read the reviews, a lot of people had the same problems and no one at RCA has corrected them.

    This 7" Android Tablet works well after tweaking it with apps like 360 Total Security that improves the RAM memory. My complaint is that you can not use the external memory card for anything but music and pictures. This storage add on is useless for all other apps that come with this tablet or other downloaded apps. Just plain dumb.

    I brought 3 tablets back in November during black Friday. They were given to my kids for Christmas. Two really don't had good charge and when you try to charge them you have to keep moving the cord. One tablet, the battery has exploded.     I purchased a 42" RCA plasma TV in Whitehorse, Yukon and shipped it up to Inuvik as I have a staff house that I will be in for the next 2 years. That cost me $100 shipping. Out of the box I did not like the color as compared to my Sony I have at home but thought I could live with it. Last week I went home for five days and when I got back to Inuvik, the TV had sound but no picture, but I could see it was back lit somewhat. At that point I knew something was screwed. I gathered all the required information and called the warranty phone number and spoke with someone that could barely speak English, explained the problem, and was told I need to ship it to Ontario (4144 miles 6669 KM) at my cost and it would be fixed in 6 to 8 weeks...

    I friggin lose it... What kind of BS service is that...? It will cost me more to ship than the TV is worth and I'll be without a TV for up to 2 months... I asked what other products Curtis International LTD warranties to make sure I never buy one of their products but he would not tell me. So here I am needing to buy another TV and just want to take this RCA pile of junk out back and put a few 12 gauge rounds into it. What a great big waste of money.

    I bought my mother an RCA tablet that was on sale for around $50 during their "brown Thursday" (day before Black Friday) sale. Even though she was terribly careful with the tablet and only used it for an hour or two a day after about 2 months it started to freeze up and would only hold a charge for around 20 minutes. Battery puffed up (assuming it exploded). Scary. Thank God she wasn't hurt. Now left with useless junk.

    I purchased a 55" RCA LED TV March 2014. The TV died August 2014, so I contacted the warranty dept. Let's just say first off, I had someone look at the unit, and they confirmed the LED unit was bad. On Corp sends out a guy to look at the TV, and I tell him about the other service guy's resolution. He ignored it and ordered parts for a motherboard. That took two weeks before the parts got here, and he came back to fix it. Turns out the TV's LED was indeed faulty. Wasted time! So he has me trash that TV and On Corp send me a refurbished TV.

    The replacement TV had a cracked screen. So I had to send it back to them, and they send me another broken TV. I sent that one back. Today I receive another broken screen TV except this time On Corp had a little grey sticker next to where the TV was cracked. What does this mean? This means FedEx is not responsible for the other cracked screens, but that On Corp sent me a broken screen to begin with. The packaging was sealed tight.

    What I failed to mention during all of these problems, customer service's phone number goes right to voice mail, and I failed numerous times to actually speak to a live person. Also when I did speak with someone, and they say they will send me a FedEx label to ship the broken TV back, they never follow through. I actually had to get a manager involved to just get a FedEx label, and SHE didn't even send me an email on time. If you don't want to deal with issues like these, I suggest you stay FAR FAR away from RCA televisions!!!

    I bought a RCA TV in July of last year, 2013. I did purchase the 1 year warranty but of course the TV has problems NOW after the warranty expired. I called and they said to fax receipt and serial number and I did that. However, I haven't gotten any response back yet. It's only been a day but I just have this bad feeling about this. The picture is crisp and clear but the sound went out. I have bought so many TVs over the years and I've bought off brands and I have never experienced a TV sound going out after 1 YEAR!     My sister bought an RCA 22 inch flat screen tv, had it for about 2 years. Turned in on, last night was watching a movie. For a few minutes when it just turned off, she unplugged it then plugged it back in, nothing. The next day, I plugged it back in and tried it again, there was audio but no video. A couple hours later I tried it again, nothing. The light indicating the tv is on, is the only thing that works.

    I called Walmart last night, they gave me the number for RCA. I was waiting for the employee to help me fix it and I got hung up on. Not fair, I mean what a lousy week first due to city cutbacks my sister's job is gone now. She finds out after 4 years trying to be a full time crossing guard. She is now a spare crossing guard, again they tell her also she no longer has her medical or life insurance, then this happens. Help!!!!

    Purchased the RCA tablet a few months back. Apparently, they are only supposed to last a few months. I had to start rebooting every day because it would just lock up for no reason. And then the battery decided to puff up like a balloon. Purchased at Walmart and was told not their problem. Walmart has lost my business as well as RCA. What a piece of junk.     Purchased 2 RCA 7in tablets not even a year ago. One started shutting off even when fully charged. Then tonight my daughter goes to play on it and it's popped apart on one end. Silver thing on inside looks like it exploded & fairly sure it's the battery. The other one constantly says low memory even with only 2 games on it. And it goes from full charge to 0% in 20 mins or less. Very disappointed in product quality & will be looking into what they will do as far as repair/replace until we can get a better brand tablet.

    I purchased 2 RCA tablets for my children this past Christmas, actually Black Friday event when it was 49 dollars. Both of them turn on but battery has a triangle within the middle, they will both not charge. There is definitely something wrong with these tablets that needs to be checked out. My daughter actually has only used hers approx 3 weeks. She is 5 and not into the tablets like her other brothers. My other 2 have Kindle Fires and have not had a problem at all with their device and one is 2 years old. If the lady from the last review about the battery exploding is correct then I hope someone test these products and trade us or refund us. The first one was my older son's. It messed up approx 2 months ago and my daughter's that I'm sure you can track the time used on a tablet was literally 3 weeks is already doing the same thing with battery then something is extremely wrong with product.

    I purchased a 55 inch May 27th from Best Buy. I haven't had the chance to look at it much till lately. The picture quality is terrible. The picture is blurry. I have an old Olevia from Kmart that I have had over 6 years with better picture quality. The non-HD stations are the worst. They show great on my Olevia but very poor on my RCA. I called the Geek Squad and even after some changes to the settings, still poor quality. Too late for me to return it now to Best Buy. I feel like I have wasted $500. I wish so bad that I read the reviews before investing in this brand. Showed great in the store. That's how they get you. They have the highest resolution in the store. I even have it connected to an HD cable box. Last RCA product I will buy ever. Learned my lesson too late.

    Yes, I too purchased an RCA flat screen in 2007, several months later the T.V wouldn't come on right away, it seemed to have to warm up, like the old t.v's used to. Now it doesn't come on at all. Nothing, I paid 600 bucks for this P.O.S. TV and will they do anything? NOOO, RCA USED to be a reputable name in electronics, what happened?? I can get anyone to help me with it, they don't care.     I purchased an RCA microwave through Walmart with extended warranty. It died with 6 months and of course Walmart (which also sucks) refers me to RCA directly. The support pages for microwaves on their website lead to dead links, contacting their customer service is a joke. I have emailed them and gotten no response, big surprise considering there in no "contact us" anywhere on their front webpage and the contact info I did find was buried 5 pages deep. Phone contact is an even bigger joke, I have tried to call them 5 times and have been on hold more than 30 minutes each time. I am on hold right now as I type this, 19 minutes and counting.     We purchased a 40" HDTV from Best Buy on 5/21/2014. We did not purchase the extended warranty. Since the TV was not going to be used immediately (we were waiting on some remodeling being done) we did not set up the TV and use it until 6/20/2014. The TV was stored in our dining room from the time we brought it from the store and never moved. When we set up the TV for the first time, according to RCA's instructions, and turned it on, we immediately noticed a white line down the front of the TV that looked like lightning. The screen was not cracked. Upon going into setup mode the white lightning we saw originally was now a large black "blob" running down half of the screen. Frustrated, we packed the TV up in the original box planning on returning it to Best Buy for another TV.

    At Best Buy we learned that RCA's policy is to have the TV serviced rather than exchanging the defective TV for another RCA TV. We were directed to the Geek Squad service area who informed us that they would send the TV to their service area and if it was determined not to be defective then it would cost us $150.00 in labor charges plus any parts that needed repair. We had never even used the TV and had done nothing to cause damage to the TV while it was in the box but both RCA and Best Buy felt charging us to repair their product that was defective is not only okay but totally appropriate.

    Needless to say I will never buy a RCA TV again and it will be a long time before I purchase any products from Best Buy. I used to believe that Best Buy put the customer first but I now realize that return customer business is not their top priority. Instead it seems that making money on service charges is more important... no wonder they are having money problems.

    I have been using converter boxes (RCA DTA800bi) since issued vouchers. At that time I got 1 Magnavox and 1 RCA all from the same Walmart. ("Center Point, N. Charleston SC) I got 2 different brands then because they were last 2 left at the time. The RCA went out this year 2014. I thought after about 6 years that's ok. So I went back to the exact same Walmart, in Jan. and got another RCA. I have since taken it back 3 times, the one in Jan. I took back in Feb. then again in March then just the other day. I might would have gotten another but they were out. Tried telling electronics manager this should be reported as they keep failing, (she didn't seem interested) it just goes dead, lights out. I refuse to buy another RCA and especially not from Walmart. I checked the internet and there were several complaints about the RCA box and also being bought from Walmart. I guess they're sending all the crappy one to Walmart or either they are all now just crap.

    RCA 7" Dual Core 8GB tablet - We purchased two of these tablets at the Walmart Black Friday sale for our 5-year old twin boys. We were hoping these would be a decent starter tablet that would work well for long car trips, etc. We downloaded about 10 games, 1 movie and a few 1/2 hour tv episodes per tablet. They worked great for about the first 6 weeks but are now virtually useless. One tablet will not charge properly due to a problem with the charging port and both tablets now last about 15-20 minutes on a full charge. So, we now have two boys fighting over one tablet that needs to be constantly plugged in to an outlet. Our boys have to sit up against the wall in order to play the tablet due to the short charging cord.

    We didn't purchase the extended warranty (our first mistake) and are now over the 90-day return policy offered by Walmart. An email to RCA resulted in a response from and RCA tech advising us "how to properly charge the tablet" and "how to reset the tablet". If neither of those options worked, we were advised we could send the tablets back for repair under their 1-year limited warranty at our expense. Please do yourself a favor and do NOT purchase this tablet under any circumstances. Spend a little bit more and save yourself the headache, money and the disappointment of little ones whom won't be able to enjoy the tablet for very long.

    Let me start by saying - DON'T PURCHASE RCA. The customer "service" alone is a scam. I purchased an RCA 32" LED/LCD HDTV in December 2012. It is only 16 months old and on 4/17/14, all 3 HDMI ports just failed. On 4/17/14, while watching my television through Roku, which was plugged into the HDMI port #2, the TV lost signal and a "no signal" bubble appeared on the screen. I checked the other 2 HDMI ports and they, too, had failed and a "no signal" bubble was on screen. I called my cable provider, Verizon FIOS, who helped me troubleshoot for over an hour trying several different methods to determine what the root of the problem was. I was able to connect a COAX cable from the wall to the TV and the cable worked on standard def through the TV input, therefore determining that the issue stemmed from the HDMI ports.

    I called RCA's customer service and spoke with a representative who told me that it sounded like the motherboard inside the TV that holds the HDMI inputs had failed and the cost to repair it would be almost $150. I told this representative that my TV was just over a year old, that a new TV should NOT break (through no fault of my own) so much so that the cost to fix it would exceed half the original cost of the television. I was directed to contact OnCorp, who apparently manufactures the RCA televisions. OnCorp has refused any help as I am just outside the warranty. I will never spend another cent on an RCA brand anything! The TV cost $240 (pre-tax) when I bought it. I am young, and RCA has lost my business AND any future recommendations.

    I bought a 24" RCA HDTV TV from Walmart in late November 2013. TV worked fine for about a month and then developed two red pin holes in the picture. Called under warranty and was told if they are smaller than a nickel, it is not covered. Now 3 months later I have a half circle about the size of a silver that looks like a black sun rising from the bottom middle of the screen. I called for service and they transferred me to KMART (I bought it at WALMART) for in home service. KMART said to call RCA back. The phone tech from RCA was sarcastic and snarky. He basically said my ONLY option was that they would UPS me a box and I would have to send it to them and they would have it back to me usually in 10 days. When I asked what I was supposed to watch for 10 days while they tried to fix my NEW tv, he didn't understand and when he did said "nothing I suppose".

    Real nice! I told him that they should send me a box with a REFERB that I could use while they tried to fix their defective TV... much the way my car dealer would give me a loaner when he has my car for a few days.... The jerk on the other side of the phone actually LAUGHED at that and said... "do you want the box or not?" Needless to say I wanted to upgrade an older TV and yesterday spent $70 more for a 40 inch Vizio with the same specs as the RCA... Fool me once, RCA, and you will never get the chance to fool me again... Oh and I made sure to tell the folks looking at TV's in Best Buy what a horror show RCA was and they should walk away from that RCA and spend a little more now and have less aggravation later.     We purchased a RCA Tablet "RCT6077W22" for my daughter for Christmas. Within hours of opening her present the screen cracked while she was using the tablet. She had not had it in her hands but a few minutes at the time and before that it had been charging on the counter. The crack in the screen is not on the surface like it would be if the tablet had been mishandled or dropped but more like it is on the inside. Upon contacting the support department at RCA, I would soon find out that they do not honor the one-year factory warranty on the tablet. I told them that the crack was not indicative of being dropped or mishandled but more like there could be a defect with the screen.

    I was informed by Angelo, a customer service rep, that and I quote "I am trying to tell you that all of the tablets we manufacture go through a rigorous quality control process. This is done for the very reason that you are expressing!!! We would never allow a tablet that has not gone through many stages of testing to leave the factory unless we were 110% certain that it works as it should. You mentioned in your previous email (the guy put a space between e & mail) she had not had it one day and the screen cracked while she was playing." This is obviously the problem... And as such the fee is $20.00... My words to him were not while she was playing, it was while she was playing with it (meaning playing a game on it). My response to him was if you are so certain of your product why offer a one-year warranty that covers unknown defects?

    Bought this tablet from Walmart online for a Christmas present for my son. Now it does not charge and it is not warranted. So they want me to send it to them and then they will send me this: "Upon receipt your information, we will issue a repair #, return address and payment details (if not under warranty). I will also need to know the date of purchase of the unit and whether there is a receipt for the purchase." The reset didn't work! So now I am supposed to send it to them.     I Have had my TV for 6 months... I was in the kitchen and I heard a crash. The TV snapped off the stand and broke the bolts in Two... and crashed off the table and onto the hardwood floor. Called RCA said I had to pay for service call and it would be 1 MONTH (!!!) till they could come to my home! I LIVE IN LOS ANGELES... not North Dakota (no offense). The store won't do anything... I'm so pissed! Clearly a design flaw... the TV is too heavy for the base. Anyone else have this problem?

    RCA tablet not even 20 days old and locked on RCA logo, won't boot, factory reset don't work. Walmart don't care. They said it's past their 15 day and RCA says this happens, ship it to us and wait 2 months for a new one. This is not right. I will never buy anything like this from Walmart and will never buy another RCA anything. By the way when I was at Walmart I still had 5 days left lol, but since I order online I was **.

    Well RCA TVs are now a piece of **. I remember the days when they used to put out quality stuff. Not anymore... I got the TV about 2 years ago, and for the most part had no problems with it. Today I went to turn it on (manually, I hardly touch the remote unless I'm changing input feeds) and nothing?!?! I grabbed the remote, and it turned on fine, but that was it. It would not let me change the channel, volume, input... nothing. Just by going over some of the reviews I've seen, this is an ongoing theme.

    I called up RCA, who patched me through to the manufacturer in Mexico, who took all my info then patched me back to RCA. RCA said they could send a tech out to look at it for $99, "What day would be good for you?"... Is this the type of garbage that everybody has come to expect? My last TV lasted me a good 20-25 years, and was still working when I Craiglisted it. I personally have decided to blacklist RCA in my total disgust. I understand if you do not feel the need to follow. Just be wary the next time you plop down five hundred dollars on a TV, just to find out that you got a lemon.

    I purchased my TV on Dec. 27, 2012. On January 15, 2013, the screen started changing colors. It would go from red to blue to green to yellow then ping and grey and start again. I contacted the company but the warranty was out only by 2 weeks, and there was nothing they could do for me. I told them that a TV should last for more than a year. They said that it didn't matter if the warranty was out just 1 day that this was their policy. I called 2 TV shops in a nearby community, and the first question the both of them asked me was what was the brand. When I told them RCA they chuckled and said that they don't fix RCA and that there was no one in the area that did and probably not even anyone in the province of Newfoundland that do.

    I phoned the company back again and told them that there was no one in my province that could fix this TV. They replied by asking me to send the TV back to them and they would try and fix it but it would cost me $275 plus the cost of fixing it. I told them that it was just as well I go buy a new TV. I told them that it would not be a RCA and that I would tell everyone I could not to purchase this brand. Why are they allowed to sell these TVs in a province where there is no one to fix them if a problem arises?

    I purchased a 39 inch RCA TV 12/04/13 at Best Buy. It went blank 12/24/13, 20 days out of warranty. I did purchase the extended warranty, at my daughter's request. After taking it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy for repairs I was told it had to be sent to Atlanta, Ga to be checked out and it would take approx. 2 weeks. This is my only TV. HAPPY HOLIDAYS RCA.     I bought both my RCAs. I have a 23-in I use in my bedroom and a 47-in. in the living room. I bought the 23-in first and was impressed with the picture it had that a few month later turned around and bought the 47-in. Anyways after I bought the 47-in 3 weeks later I turned on and started noticing fine black horizontal lines only across the right side of the screen... Called the support number since I have warranty and wasted money on an extended warranty, only thing they could do is give me an authorized service center 3 hours away, which would be a waste to drive to just to drop off the TV for repair, drive home, and then go back days later. I've owned other RCA TVs and was always pleased with them until now. All I know is that I will not be buying another after this experience.

    Purchased a TV from Fry’s on May 23, 2013. A third of the picture went black. I immediately called Fry’s (many times) who refused to assist in any way. Said we had to deal with RCA. RCA sent a repair person out who said TV could not be fixed and RCA would send another TV. We received a replacement TV which was refurbished and cracked in two places. (I took pictures) It was cracked where the indicator light was so TV would not turn on so remote control would not work. This took three months. RCA refused to resolve problem other than have us return both televisions and wait three weeks for a refund. Fry’s would not replace television because they did not have a comparable model and only offered store credit. I asked for a refund which was denied putting me back to having no television. I would never purchase from FRY’S or purchase an RCA television as RCA is not RCA, it is all Sharp components.

    I bought an RCA plasma 42 inches TV a year ago. I seldom use it and one time when power went out, it never worked again. I called customer support and because I am done with the warranty, his advice is to just buy a new one. I must say that this has never happened on any of my TVs since I was born. My verdict, RCA product is a lemon. This goes without saying that my opinion about all their other products is so low I will never buy another product from RCA. The authorities, I feel, should do something about this. Their lemon products should never be sold anywhere. Based on other reviews, this is not a fluke. We all feel getting duped.

    I got a RCA 45 class LCD 1080p 60 Hz HDTV 46 LA45R about 2 years ago and the motherboard or main board went bad in it and cost me 260 dollars to repair. I tried to call the number that was in the installation book only to keep get transferred back and forth to the same people with no help. One of the tech did tell me that this brand of TV just went on the market 2 years ago. I just need RCA to double check so no one else will have to go through what I have been thru. I have been trying to get in touch with someone since Oct. 16, 2013 with no satisfying solution. I will never buy another RCA product and I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

    Right at 16 months after purchasing... the picture turned black. Sound good, but no picture. Bought at Kmart. I was told that I would have to pay 99.00 for technician to come look at it. They said the 99.00 could be applied toward the parts and labor and I would have to pay the rest of the balance to fix it. I paid 300.00 for the television and am very disappointed that this RCA Television Model # 32LA30RQD was allowed on the shelf to be sold.

    Our fake RCA television we bought through Kmart no longer works. We have had a repairman here 4x who told us it would be replaced as it was unfixable. It was at that time we discovered we had bought a fake RCA manufactured by a company called Oncorp. The TV stopped working within 6 mos of purchase and we have been trying unsuccessfully for 4 mos. to track down where this supposed free replacement TV is. Kmart directs you to Oncorps and vice versa. In other words, no one is responsible for the replacement. In 3 mos the warranty will run out and I'm sure the intention is to give me the runaround until it does. I do have it in writing that the TV will be replaced, but that piece of paper has so far proven to be worthless.

    We bought a 22-in. flat screen for one of our bedrooms. As soon as the warranty expired, the TV went black. You could hear all the stations and the banter but no picture. The fix is more than the TV is worth. As the bird said never more for RCA. We have Vizios in 3 rooms and they work like they are supposed to. When I contacted RCA, the model number off the back of the TV does not exist. What a company.

    Well this is my second RCA review I am writing, as I had a bad experience with a New 46' LCD HDTV 1080p I purchased from Sears and had to return. It went dead on me after only 6 days of use. I said I would never buy another RCA product again. Well I had a change of heart and was in hopes I had just got a lemon as the sales person said it was very rare that RCA products are returned. And I ended up spending even more than my initial purchase on a larger 50' RCA, LCD HDTV 1080p right after I returned the other one. Had to go to K-mart to get it as they had it in stock. I get it home and hook it up. The dang thing has a light burned out in it and one side of the screen is dark. Now I have to return this one. I was really in hopes that I had just had some bad luck with the first one. But now I have truly lost 100% hope in RCA products. Not only has it been a big waste of my effort and time but it has been a very disappointing and stressful experience when all I was wanting was to spend some hard earned cash on a new TV.

    I went to Sears and spent some big bucks on a NEW RCA LCD 46' 1080P HDTV. The thing worked fine for 6 days. On the 7th day I went to turn it on, and nothing. The power light was just flashing red. Went online to research what could be going on and read all of my manuals…ETC... to no avail only to have everything tell me that it was an internal problem and would cost me about 200 bucks to fix it and could take up to 6 weeks for them to send me a refurbished one though I would have to pay for shipping if I went through RCA. Had to return it back to the store I purchased it from. The store was more supportive to me than the company that makes the product. I use to think that RCA was great company, but seemingly I now no longer think so. I will never buy another RCA product again!

    I bought an RCA 40" TV from a local dealer about 7 months ago, I had issues with the peripherals. Sometimes when I turned on my Xbox the TV would just crash and turn off, and whenever I try to find an Official RCA website I found thousands of them, and there are a lot of manufacturers and each manufacturer has its own serial numbers which are completely different with one another. So basically I can't get support because, apparently, my TV model does not exist to RCA.

    I purchased a 46" RCA LCD TV at Best Buy. Within six months, the TV picture went blank. After much time and energy, I got a repairman to look at it. He said he's seen dozens of similar problems with RCA. He put in a work order for a new circuit board. Three months later, no circuit board arrived. I contacted RCA service again after much delay and wrong routing. They agreed to send a new TV. New TV arrived. Same RCA model. In less than six months, the Screen went bad. RCA said they couldn't help because the original one-year warranty expired on the first TV and they would not warranty the replacement TV for the one year.

    Two RCA TVs go bad in just over one year. RCA doesn't care. I know that RCA doesn’t make these TVs. RCA is just a brand and whoever runs the place has destroyed the brand name. I would never buy another RCA product or recommend one to anyone. If I heard of anyone who wanted to buy an RCA product, I would urge them not to. If RCA is going to outsource the production of junk equipment and then renege on the warranty, why would anyone ever trust the company again?

    I want people to know that I bought an RCA model RCD 175 CD cassette player and AM/FM Portable Radio that may likely have a widespread design flaw. I brought mine back to Walmart after 3 months in April, after the radio would not play. They exchanged it for another of the same model and now this one, after 3 months, also failed to work. What are the odds of this happening to 2 different items of the same thing? I'm very frustrated and now I would have to go through all the trouble of having to ship it to them to have it repaired.

    We purchased a 40" RCA LCD TV. Within 90 days, it needed repair. Now, it has no sound. We purchased it at Walmart about 5 years ago. After reading the other reviews here, I guess we are the lucky ones. We bought two other TVs, both Vizios exactly the same time we bought the RCA (both around 30") and never had a problem! It is pretty pathetic of RCA to not monitor this Consumer Affairs Website. I will never buy another RCA!

    On December 12, 2012 I purchased an RCA Blu-ray player for a Christmas gift for a relative. In February 2013 it stopped working altogether. On May 21, 2013 I finally got a hold of a live person at RCA. They advised me that I would have to ship the product in, at my own expense, to be looked at by a technician. It cost me $21.35 to ship it. Then today, June 24, 2013, I called into their customer care center at 800-252-6123. The guy tried to lie to me and tell me that the product was not received. However, I have a UPS signature confirmation that shows the product was received on May 30, 2013. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER RCA PRODUCT EVER!!!

    We had a brand new Park Model trailer built last year and took delivery around September. Just this past weekend, the RCA DVD Home Theater system stopped working for no reason. I tried everything to get it to put out sound through the surround speakers to no avail. I contacted RCA this morning to begin the warranty claim process to get it repaired or replaced since it is still under the new 1-year warranty. The guy on the phone said that I need the receipt and I told him that I have the receipt for the purchase of the camper but not an individual receipt for the DVD system, and why would I??? It came with my new camper.

    I then said, "What does my having the receipt have anything to do with you honoring your warranty anyway?" He told me that it's their policy and I must track down the receipt from the manufacturer of my camper. I lost my cool at this point and said, "Why should the consumer have to jump through all of these hoops to get your company to honor their warranty?" I told him that the DVD system had a serial number and we had filled out and sent in all of the warranty cards for all of the appliances in the camper upon taking delivery so that should be enough for them to help me out... Why go through the process of filling out warranty cards if they mean nothing? It's very frustrating and it seems like this has become common place now with a lot of companies basically sticking it to the consumer and not standing behind their commitments!

    I just purchased an RCA flat screen on 1/19/13 from the local Kmart. One month later, the right lower portion of the screen was white. I called the warranty number on the pamphlet I received. They told me to take it to Sears, who handles the shipment of the flat screens to the service company. Two weeks later, I received (what I thought was new) a different flat screen. Before I opened the box, I notice it said "refurbished". I took it out of the box to view it and noticed that the color was really dark and there was no way to adjust the color. Then when I was lying in bed, it became very, very dark.

    I called Oncorp and told them that I did not want a refurbished model. I was told that if they couldn't fix it, they send a refurbished... Long story short, I had to send it back with a promise of a full refund. Thirty days later, I am still waiting. I have called every number on the voice mail and there is no return call, no live person. I am looking at other legal options to get my refund. I will never buy any product that has Oncorp even slightly connected to it. This is just not legal. How many more complaints until some action?

    My RCA television (model 46LA45RQ) had the same vertical stripes as many other users reported. Unfortunately for me, mine was 3 months past the factory warranty date. If you purchased from Best Buy and yours is still under factory warranty and fits a certain serial number range, Best Buy is authorized to do a direct exchange for you. You do not need to talk to RCA or ON Corp at all. Best Buy will handle it for you! Just call them to make sure your serial number falls under the defective range. Since mine wasn't under factory warranty, I had to deal with ON Corp myself.

    The first day I called them, I spoke to a woman but didn't have my serial number on hand. I called back the next day from my cell and went straight to voicemail. The day after that, the same thing happened. On the third day, I called from a different phone number and surprise! They answered. I spoke to a woman, sent them an email of my receipt and gave them my serial number (honestly expecting no return phone call). I guess since mine falls into the defective serial number range, I got lucky. They called back with approval and a confirmation code 2 days later that allows me to go into any Best Buy and exchange the TV. I am hoping I don't have to get another RCA since their customer service is less than great.

    I would never buy an RCA product again. I bought the 46LA45RQ back in February of 2011, just barely 2 years old for almost $600. I went to turn it on, no problem. Then the volume started going down by itself, so I started looking for the remote. I took the batteries out and nothing. After troubleshooting and whatnot, turns out the main board is no longer working. Oncorp, or whoever they are, transferred me to corporate RCA who laughed and said they can do nothing. It's out of the 1-year warranty.

    I'm not paying $300 to fix a TV that now costs $400. If it was such a great TV, why sell it so cheap?. Now Oncorp says RCA should take care of it being this has happened to a lot of this model. Nope, deny and laugh - that's what I got. Now I have a paperweight that I refuse to fix. My Sony lasted 6 years before any problems. Please anyone with this same issue and model, report and complain whatever to get these thieves' attention. With enough backing, we can get a class action suit going and hold this corporation liable for their indiscretions. It was done to Sony, so it can be done.

    I purchased the 26-in. LCD TV\DVD Combo in February 2012. Yesterday (March 14, 2013), the side panel buttons wouldn't work, but I could operate the TV using the remote. Today, the remote will only turn the TV off and on; I can't change channels and no other buttons will work. I called ON Corp USA Inc., the manufacturer, and they would not even offer phone support, telling me I had to contact RCA because the warranty expired last month. You would think they would be embarrassed by their faulty product and offer a little help, but no. I went to the RCA website where they took my need for support as an opportunity to mine for consumer data and routed me back to the same ON Corp phone number that I had already called. Good luck with that data because I will never buy another RCA or ON Corp manufactured product. Fool me once, shame on you, but straight to Samsung (the TV everybody told me I should have gotten in the first place!) I go.

    I bought this new at Walmart in May of 2008. It has made noise; the picture would come and go. The service repairman came out and said there was nothing wrong with this unit and, at the time, it was under warranty. I turned it on today, 3/7/13. It made a loud noise and all I have is sound and no picture. This has given me problems and it was never fixed. The fan would run in this unit most of the time like it was running hard. I paid good money for this unit, 900 dollars at the time. I have seen nothing but bad reviews on these models.

    I purchased Kelly Clarkson's Greatest Hits Chapter One at Target (where the CD is sold exclusively). Upon opening and playing the CD, my friend reported that the disc skipped. After examining the disc myself, I found no scratches or marks on the disc and upon playing the CD, I discovered that it does indeed skip. Target has a policy that products of this nature (CDs, DVDs, Video Games, etc.) cannot be returned for exchange/refund once opened.

    Since my friend had specifically requested this CD, I purchased another copy only to discover that the second disc skips also. I have attempted to contact BMG/RCA Records for resolution of this matter to absolutely no avail! Obviously, neither I nor my friend is very happy with the situation. $13.70 per copy may not seem to be nor actually be a large sum of money to be out of, but the principle behind the matter is, in my opinion, huge!

    I purchased an RCA 55 inch TV in Feb 2012. In September, I started having some display issues. The display was strobing from light to dark. Even the repair technician was puzzled. After three weeks of unsuccessful attempts to repair the TV, On Corp finally decided to issue me a refund, which I have yet to receive. I would not recommend anyone to buy RCA products, with On Corp doing the manufacturing.

    I bought a supposed antenna thing so I could cancel my TV service and hook it up to the analog TV and get channels. It barely got any channels at all! So I thought, maybe I was incorrect and need a newer TV. It took a while but we finally bought a small, new flat screen. We plugged the antenna in and it got a few more, but still not the local CBS or PBS! Unbelievable. I then tried to return it to Walmart, but they said I was just under 2 weeks outside their 90-day return policy, so to call the number for RCA. I did; the guy wanted to provide technical support. By this point, I have already decided that this antenna thing is not RCA's best effort and it's a sucky product that they tried to cash in on when the feds said that we will all need to buy a new antenna thingy after that June date a couple years ago.

    The Walmart lady said lots of people had returned them, so she gathered that they didn't work quite as well as RCA seems to think they should. Anyway, I refused tech support and asked for a supervisor. He gave me a phone number. I asked where is that. Canada. Canada? I am not calling long distance to Canada for an American product (this guy was Indian, by the way). I asked if there was an email. He said he'd report it to his supervisor but gave me the email. I immediately wrote to the supervisor on the email and have not heard back! I want my $50 plus tax back and I think RCA needs to close its doors if it can't have better customer service and products like it used to! Thank you.

    RCA's response - I tried all the phone numbers, just machines giving stupid answers. The end result was I had to give the TV to a repair person who mentioned thousands of people having the same problem, the TV turning off and on; even the cable company knows about it and says it is the OPC which is not on the RCA that’s on the Sony! I will not recommend RCA to anyone anymore like I did for years, and let me tell you I chat with thousands of people around the world. You are taking advantage of people, young, old, handicapped and don't give a hoot. Well, no more money for you people.

    Stuck with a 47" RCA LCD TV 1 1/2 old that does work: Comp-USA will not help without extended warranty and the manufacturing, On Corp., does not give an option either even though the mfg. date is Feb. 2010. The bottom line is it got RCA's name on it and for $700-$800 for a TV that works only for a year and a half that they knew had a problem is crap. Never again with RCA on it! And being disabled and can't drive, I'll have to pay someone to take it to the dump.

    No replacement part is available - I purchased a 46 inch TV in April 2011. The LCD panel has gone out and the 1 year warranty has expired. The repairman says RCA knew their TVs made in 2010 had a problem. I feel this is a scam for them to not have done a recall or be willing to stand behind a defective product-warranty or not. I spent $649.00 on a product the company knew was bad, then another $99 after I told the customer service group exactly on the phone what the problem was.

    I had all the same horrific experiences with my attempts to get my RCA 46" LCD TV 46LA45RQ replaced under warranty. I packed the TV up and took it to the Best Buy where I purchased it. The customer service rep said there wasn't anything they could do (I didn't purchase the extended Best Buy warranty). I asked to speak with the manager and showed him the list of complaints from this website regarding this TV. I said I wasn't able to contact RCA, who doesn't exist, the corporate, who you can't leave any more messages with and who doesn't return the messages that have been left. Then I told him their own Geek Squad tried to reach them on my behalf unsuccessfully.

    The Geek Squad recommended that I return the TV to Best Buy and if they wouldn't help me, to tell them I would be contacting their legal department. The manager said I could send the TV into their repair department and if it couldn't be repaired, they would honor the RCA warranty. Best Buy called me 2 weeks later, said the TV can't be repaired and I would get the same TV or a comparable one at no charge. I went to pick up a new TV and I paid the difference to get a Samsung, along with the Best Buy 4-year warranty! The picture quality is amazing! RCA will never cross my threshold again! Thank you so much, Best Buy! Great PR move!

    This is all the same as with every negative review. This is a screen line issue with the 46" TV. There’s no response or any sign of life at OnCorp or Encorp (whatever). There was a glimmer of hope because we received a replacement TV, but as we opened it, we noticed it was destroyed, dropped or something and then packaged. So now we sent it back and FedEx are dealing with OnCorp to try and get another TV. This has been the worst experience with any company ever. Best Buy is not any better. Nobody takes accountability for anything anymore. Just sell the crap and pray for 30 days to go by and presto - not our problem anymore. I am just gonna go over to Costco where they stand behind everything they sell and get a TV there. Never buy RCA and stay away from Best Buy!

    I purchased a 42" plasma flat screen TV. I bought it on November 15, 2010. According to the sticker on the back, it was manufactured October 2010. For the last 4 months, the sound would go out and I would have to turn the TV off and back on again to get the sound to come back on. Last night, while watching a show, the screen went black but the sound remained. I called RCA support, they told me that they could send a repairman but because I did not have an extended warranty, it might run me into the hundreds to repair it, not to mention the initial $99 service call. The TV is a year and 1/2 old. I have a 37" Olevia (off-brand) that I have had for 5 years and have never had a problem with, never. I will never buy an RCA anything. They suck! So now, I have to either have their serviceman come out or find one locally (which is what the customer service rep suggested). I am so disgusted.

    I called 888-237-8289 and asked for Julie or Don and told them that they were highly recommended by a person that they helped in Atlanta, GA and I gave them great reviews. Best Buy called me and gave me an RA# which was a Return Authorization # or called confirmation # that you would need in order to return the TV where you purchased it. I bought an RCA 46-inch from Best Buy that had a line in it with all the problems that you are having. They helped me and now I have a brand new 46-inch TV, not an RCA. I feel relieved now, thank God.

    We bought a television on May 24 and started to see streaks. We called Geek Squad and they made us go through RCA. The repairman came out and said we needed a new TV. He knew about the problem and from the reviews, so does most of them. They don't call back. There is no customer service at all.

    I started having problems with the screen of my RCA 46 inch flat screen LCD TV three months after purchase from Best Buy in Modesto. The manufacturer warranty is for 12 months. I emailed RCA and got no response. It's been a week now. I then looked online for complaints on the subject and found 422 complaints on my exact model. There are a lot of complaints about Best Buy and how they handle it by doing nothing. I haven't gone in to Best Buy yet. I just read about this an hour ago.
