    Purchased RCA Tv given the recommendation of RCA. TV is less than 2 years old and we are away all winter for past 2 years, TV has only volume no picture, happened with nothing but a turn on. Tried everything and took it to a repair shop and they said it would cost more to fix than replace. What a waste. DON'T BUY RCA Products.

    I bought. RCA 50 inch television 7 months ago and TV burnt itself from inside out in bottom left corner. It’s obvious from pictures and video I sent them tv does not work at all. I have original receipt. Sent everything they required and they won’t refund or help me. In my opinion this tv should have a recall. It could have burned our house down. I’m thankful my husband was home to unplug this TV. We do not recommend anyone buy a RCA tv. Their customer service is absolutely terrible!

    I purchased one of their “70 smart TV’s less than 3 months ago, and of course it’s already broken. I also found that the tv was built less than 10 months ago, so it goes to show that “new” doesn’t mean “good”. Customer service was nearly impossible to reach. After several emails and phone calls, I finally got a hold of Kenny Williams from customer service who refused to replace the TV or issue a refund or be of assistance in any way. It has been a back a fourth of going nowhere with them, and I have been without the tv for over a month now. I do not imagine this issue will be getting resolved, and I will never consider any product from RCA again. Absolute criminals.

    I bought a 65in RCA TV two years ago and I got in touch with RCA and all they could tell me is to take it to a repair shop and have it fixed!!! That tv cost about $400.00 on sale. Tv repair shop told me it would cost me between $300.00 and $400.00 to get it fixed. They also told me NOT to EVER buy a RCA product again because they said they get a lot of RCA tvs coming in and it cost more to fix them than to buy a brand new one. He told me he thinks RCA puts a timer in them to break down after the warranty runs out. I will NEVER buy another RCA TV!!!!

    Warranty process is a major runaround. Don't waste your money on RCA TVs, will NEVER buy this brand ever again! It took several weeks and several emails to get this process done. When the second TV was dropped off they just left it outside no knock on the door or phone call 50" TV left outside!

    First tv purchased was broken off the shelf with a rattling speaker. Second tv broke after 4 months of use. One reply from the warranty company so far where they totally ignored all of the information I provided them with for them to do a warranty claim. Absolutely useless waste of $600. They have a one year warranty they will not honor.

    My RCA TV is 11 months old and has horizontal lines running through the picture. I called and was told I would be sent an email to file a warranty claim. I responded to the email with what I was told to do. A few days later I got an email saying my warranty was approved. It said I needed to remove the serial number and cut the power cord as close to the TV as possible. What??? I responded asking why. They said it was the process. This didn't make sense so I called. After explaining the situation the person told me that's how it is so people don't take advantage of the situation. What??? I asked if I cut the cord and sent a picture for proof, how long will it take to get a new TV. They said 2-3 weeks.

    I'm on social security disability and TV is what I do all day. Even with the lines messing up the picture, it will be something to watch until I get the new TV. I don't understand. If they agree the picture is messed up and it's under warranty then send me a new TV. Why do I have to cut the cord and be without a TV for 2-3 weeks? I told the person I wanted to speak to a supervisor. They said one wasn't available and that they would call me back later that day. No one called.

    I called back every day for a week and was told the same thing every day. I finally got a callback. The same person I talked to told me the supervisor told her to tell me the same thing. The supervisor wouldn't even call me personally. I have a TV with a bad picture getting worse every week. This is the worst customer service I've ever got. The TV is under warranty and they won't honor the warranty unless I cut the cord and be without for 2-3 weeks. Horrible customer service. I filed a complaint also with the BBB, customer protection agency and on the RCA website. I will never again purchase any of their products and I will tell everyone to do the same.

    These TVs are absolute junk. Within 7 months of purchase the TV it became a battle to even turn it on. Remote or manually. And when you manage to turn it on the screen is full of lines so bad that you can't make out anything on the screen. RCA/Curtis will not back their product and customer service is pathetic.

    Bought 70" TV last year. Remote operation went bad - some buttons were working some not. Major TV viewing issues. Contact RCA, they redirected me to Curtis company who handle customer related issues. Gave me a run around for whole two months and took a very long time to respond. Made me send them s/n, remote pics, model number, even though I told them "it's very difficult to take pics due to the awkwardness of the TV location and even more so the back of TV." I sent them the pics with a great difficulty and after two months I was told that I must buy the remote at normal price if I want to watch TV. Overall a very bad customer service long delays, rigid atmosphere. I will not buy anything from them again. At time I felt like I was dealing with a very crappy third-world country company.

    Don't buy RCA TVs. After 6 month in the life of the TV I bought, when I try to turn on the TV; it started showing horizontal lines going from the top to the bottom. and would not turn on. After playing with the setting a bit, mainly reducing the intensity, it took from 35 to 50 times turning on and off till it starts working but today half a day doing that and have the same problem. Hooked thru HDMI1 to my laptop to use as a monitor only. Even without my computer I do not get the start page. Keeping same lines. Piece of garbage. Useless. No help from Servicing company Curtis Electronics.

    I have been trying for 2 weeks to speak to a technical support person. They gave me a reference number when I first called. They said someone would get back to me within 5 business days. I waited 8 business days and did not get a call. They say that they left a message for me. It is not true! I receive all my messages myself.

    Yesterday I called them and they said I would receive a call between 9 and 12 today. That did not happen. I called them back at 130 eastern time. They said I would receive a call within 1 to 2 hours. I called again because I did not get a phone call. They said I would get a call before the end of day. I asked what time is the end of day. They said technical people are there from 9 to 5. I then asked what time it was. She said 630. I said how is someone going to call me today when they are already gone! She then said I would get a call within 72 hours! No need for them to waste any more of my time! I will return the tv and buy another brand. Horrible when people lie!!!!

    Where do I start. I got in in couple days cool. Awesome. Then I open it and black all over it. Oil or dirt ok. Wash it off then I install it. Plug it in hook it up and start a small load cause need to do laundry bad and just wanted to try first and it leaked. So I stop and hopped back off machine. Well my bf did and boom a piece of plastic or tape it was all around wire like they knew it would leak. So I called right away. He says he will refund me but I have to get it to post office. Fine and he said he send label and did not get nothing. Actually he canceled it and I did not ask for that.

    So I called this morning. All I want is my money back cause this machine is crap and if I’m anyone I would not buy it again. I barely have cash to spend and I took the last of the little extra money I had to buy this and now look my nightmare. Leaks all over the wires inside so it can’t even be fixed. Thanks for nothing RCA. Hopefully you do right and I might change this review but I want my money back please or better unit for free. Thanks.

    I bought a tv for my daughter for Christmas, it broke 2months later. The store couldn’t refund me. It was 30 days past … so I had to go to RCA for the 1 year.. fought until 7 days before warranty ran out. Was given the run around… still no tv.. Awful customer service.. The worst and I worked in telemarketing… Take pictures, done. Take again, "We can’t find your file," send receipt, wrong receipt, can’t find, send receipt, someone is looking, no one is here when asked to speak to a manager. Will call back, they didn’t … "Ok we have found your receipt. We will call you" … didn’t multiple times. Told these things each time we called!!! Horrible.

    I was stunned at the childish accessory called the remote control for this Roku tv. There are no numbers to enter a channel number. While the tv and any documentation whatsoever repeatedly refer to roku... Unless your television is connected to the internet - there are no services available. When I made the mistake of attempting to sign up for the "free" access - my home address, date of birth and credit card information were demanded.

    Have a 55 inch mounted in the living room. Picture is very clear and vivid. Purchased a Walmart for a very good price. Had a problem with it once and the RCA technical phone support walked us through a resolution. The TV is about 3 yrs old now and we love it.

    I have had the TV for 5 years, It works fine with my Firestick and On-Demand. I don't like the oversized remote. It has been steady since purchase. I think I am in the market for a Smart TV with a curve.

    I have an older model RCA flat screen TV. I am really impressed by it being there are many ways to use it, connect pc, 3 HDMI plugs for DVD Firestick, Bluray player. Even the original remote still works except the power button. Everything else on works great. Excellent color and sound. You can even change the screen size on it so that way your movie is the full size of the screen instead of being chopped shorter whether from top to bottom or either side.

    We are seniors and scraped together funds for a smart TV!! That was our Christmas present to each other. I have been fighting with them since Jan 6th!! The TV is a nightmare! It does not work!! They say, "Send us this and that." We have according to my 57 emails have done that!!! RCA used to be good brand, however from my experience..STAY AWAY!! Kris

    I am a Canadian who saved and saved!! Curtis international is an absolute nightmare.. You send the stuff they ask for and the still want more!! They are gatekeepers!! We saved and saved and in my 67 years RCA was a good source. We both put our lives on the line as professionals. The TV, our dream TV is a joke as is the customer response!!

    I wish I would have read the reviews here before I bought my 65" RCA Roku smart tv in November, 2020. After I we hook the tv and set everything, I tried to set the internet connection through wifi. The error message was always "Network disconnected, check your network." I called their customer service to ask for help. The first recommendation was "Can you try to connect with ethernet cable?" Can you imagine I need min 10m of ethernet cable for that? I tried every option they recommended (except ethernet cable :) ), still no connection. Finally, they transferred my ticket to another department. And as many other reviewers said they asked many pictures (front picture, back pictures, all the corners should be visible, picture of model number, serial number etc etc).

    My tv was wall mounted. After taking all the required pict, my screen had a couple of finger prints. When I wanted to clean the screen gently, I noticed that the screen was jammed against the outside cover on the top and the screen cracked from that spot. When I told them and send the picture, they said we damaged it. They didn't accept their bad manufacturing flaw. Their recommendations:

    1. If the purchase was made using a credit card – Many credit card companies offer a benefit such as extending the warranty to those qualifying purchases. You may contact your credit card company to find out. Their phone number is listed on the back of your credit card.
    2. If the unit was purchased with an extended warranty - You will normally see this from the receipt provided to you. Extended warranty is offered by the store and it applies after the manufacturer’s warranty expires. We suggest checking with them to learn more on how to go about their process in filing a claim.

    3. Local Repair Shop – You may contact a local trusted repair facility to explore out of warranty repairs. You could use your local yellow pages or search via the internet for a local service facility.

    It was like a joke. :) I called many repair shops, nobody repairs RCA screen. One of the repair shop told me that nobody can replace RCA screen because RCA doesn't provide/sell it as part (in Canada). Oh well, they never addressed my connection issue. :) Win win for them. :) Waste of time, waste of money for me. I wouldn't recommend this brand at all.

    This is a good microwave, does everything well, has convenient settings for items I often cook in it (especially potatoes!). However, like all the others, moisture gets trapped inside due to condensation. Wish all microwaves had a system to vent steam or an exhaust fan.

    DO NOT buy an RCA TV.... If I could give this "0" stars I would.... When you have a problem this business has not been helpful at all... I bought an RCA TV in Dec 2019.. It was on sale... I tried to get it all connected and set up in Feb 2020.... It would not work... I phoned them... They emailed me with a long list of things they wanted... pictures, sales receipt, model and serial number etc... I replied to them giving them everything they requested.. except a video of the problem.. (there was no image on the TV). I double checked how it was set up.... I have never had a problem with the basic set up.... I only connected one cable... and plugged it in... the same wire as I removed from the old tv still working.... I called my cable provider... They couldn't figure it out and suggested I call the manufacturer.... I had talked with the manufacturer at length... After sending them 7 emails and several phone calls (HOURS WASTED on the phone and emailing them)....

    I took it to a TV repair business... Thinking there can't be too much wrong.... The TV repair places do not fix this brand.... so I wrote the company again and asked them where to take it for service... THEY REFUSED TO TELL ME where I could take it... and I was going to pay to have it fixed.... so I gave up... They again asked for all the info I had previously sent them... The TV will go to the landfill... and the tv is not yet a year old... The customer service is so awful... They keep sending you in circles.... You should not have to go thru that.... No matter how cheap the tv... I will NEVER buy another RCA (made by CURTIS). It is not worth the aggravation....

    I have purchased a 55" RCA Roku tv one month ago and opened it straight out of the box and hooked it up to my cable tv. I then noticed there was a black dot at the top of the screen when turned on. I contacted their customer service department which is Curtis International to put in my warranty claim and they asked to take pictures of the issue and the bill of sales. That I did and after roughly a week, was told to bring it to one of their authorized repair people. I was then told a few hours later after it was brought over to one of their centers to get it 'fixed' that it was a piece of fabric lodged the screen and the tv and it was not part of the fault of the manufacture.

    So I took a picture of the warranty manual which says nothing to this nature of it not being covered, contacted Curtis, (this all has to be done through email because their call center has just them giving me the runaround saying send them an email because all they do is can open and escalate tickets) and now waiting and waiting and waiting with no response other than them telling me that have sent it to the department and that they will let me know their answer - so I question what department and as of yet no response. Buyer Beware.

    The TV is good quality. The picture is bright, clear, no dead pixels. What you would expect for a 4K unit. The audio is loud and clear, haven't had to turn the volume higher than 25/100, even for YouTube videos with bad sound quality. The price is great (as compared to other brands). I do however have 2 complaints. The first complaint is really my problem, so I can't call it a complaint per se. If you pause a video, after a few minutes it switches to a screen saver. The screen saver has small "posters" for movies that scroll across the screen. If you push the play/pause button while the screen saver is active, it will play the movie advertised on the screen saver instead of resuming your paused video. In all fairness though, that is probably a feature of Roku, not something designed by RCA.

    The second complaint is that RCA placed the volume controls on the side of the remote, so every time I pick up the remote I mute the TV. It's so annoying I had to put the remote away and use the app as a remote, it really is that bad. But overall it is still a great TV for a great price. Our last TV was RCA, and we will likely continue to buy RCA.

    This product started out OK but as a few days went by the phone started to do its own thing and I thought maybe a virus or trojan or worm was in my phone. I scanned and cleaned the phone with antivirus platform but still was acting up. I know now that it's the phone and OS that is that problem. There is no updates for it or any support for it either. I spent good money on three of these phones and a tablet and they are all garbage. I will no longer buy any RCA product in the future. As I was saying this phone acts up, while I tried to write all of this review it shut down on me and I had to start all over again. Sincerely Pat B.

    I bought a RCA Roku in January and within a couple months had pixelated lines running the. I jumped thru hoops sending in all the required pictures, resending again. Told it was an electrical problem in my house, plus numerous other things. Now they say I didn’t buy from a reputable dealer. This company does not stand behind their products. Do not buy!!!

    I bought a 60" RCA 4k TV and within a couple months it went out on me. I contacted them and they wanted me to send pics of everything then they wanted me to cut the cord and smash the TV and I did. It's been over a month and all they keep telling me is that it's a process to be patient. Well my patience has ran out. They keep giving me the run around and now telling me today that it could take up to 6 weeks to make a decision on sending me another TV or my money back. How hard is it to make that decision. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Their customer support is horrible and will and can't help you with nothing. I will never buy anything from this company again and I would defer away from y'all buying anything from this company.
