    I received my new glasses from Zenni, they are Garbage, the prescription is WRONG, I just got new glasses from my eye care center and wanted a 2nd pair, so I ordered zenni, the glasses are ok for the price but the prescription is wrong, I switch from my new ones from my eye dr and put on the Zenni glasses I can't read fine print at all, the prescription is wrong, and they are now telling me they made them correctly, they had them for 3 weeks and now after I sent them back, tell me they will not refund me {only half} or store credit,

    The customer service is TERRIBLE, 5 minutes after my glasses were delivered I contacted zenni, they tried from the start to blame me saying I may have put in the prescription wrong, saying I gave it to them wrong, it wasn't so they say now after finding out I supplied them with the correct prescription, the glasses were made to their specs, I CAN'T READ WITH THEM, so how could they have made them correctly???? So I'm stuck with glasses I can't use, or take a half price loss, STAY AWAY FROM ZENNI OPTICAL. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF

    I've ordered six pairs of glasses through them over the last four years. My wife has six sets. We’re big fans of Zenni. They have really good prices. The website is a little slow, but it's manageable. It's easy enough, and it gives a lot of tutorials on how to pull all your measurements. It makes sure you get some glasses that fits you. It's got a lot of good filters so you can narrow down the types of glasses you want. There's a lot of options with the lenses, like sunglasses, and the magnetic clip ons.

    I ordered two sets of photochromatic glasses for my husband and me. This is because we were in a bad car accident and our glasses were damaged. The photochromatic color worked on my glasses; but, not his. Customer service treated us very poorly not caring that I had a broken leg and foot and my husband had a broken neck and two broken hands. All I asked for was a $29 credit. After sending three sets of pictures, Zenni then said I would have to mail back the glasses. Not a good plan Zenni. My husband would be without glasses and we cannot drive until 2022.

    My husband and I have ordered from Zenni for probably about 10 years now. All of the glasses have been great, especially compared to what we were paying for glasses previously! He ordered one pair of wire frames that didn't last as long as some of the others, but for the price, that still isn't a deal breaker. I had a problem with the first pair of progressives I ever ordered because they were blurry. I talked to a representative, sent them back and they determined that it was something wrong with the lenses. They sent me a replacement with no hassles! I highly recommend them.

    I've ordered about six pairs of glasses for me from Zenni. Family-wise, because I have four kids with glasses, I got about two dozen pairs over the last three to four years. There was one pair of glasses that I absolutely loved. I ordered four different sets. Then those got discontinued. So, I had to find another one similar. But overall, the experience has been great. I haven't had any major problems size-wise. Usually, it's pretty much exactly what I ordered. If you're going to order from Zenni's, do it. Out of all the other options, they're about the easiest one that I've dealt with.

    The anti-fog doesn't seem to work at all. My glasses that don't have anti-fog seem to fog up less than these. With having to wear a face mask everywhere I go I was looking forward to this feature. Instructions on how to make fit better would be great. Eye doctor doesn't adjust glasses unless you buy from them.

Your second order, o4262445047, placed on October 30, 2021, included one pair of what appears to be single vision reading glasses, since you lowered the PD you entered on the previous order, 66 millimeters, to 63 mm, and although you did not include your astigmatism correction for these glasses, as you did for the glasses on your previous order, you entered +1.50 on the Spheres. We were sorry to read that none of these three pairs of glasses worked out for you, and we apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result.     I have a high astigmatism so the cost of my glasses is extremely expensive. So oftentimes, I’m not able to afford multiple pairs of glasses. But with Zenni Optical, I am. And that’s very helpful, especially as a college student because anything can happen. The selection is very vast. It’s better than when you’re at the eye doctor because their selection is limited to whoever they have contracts with. And it has the different lens options too, and some of them I didn't even know about. My whole life, because it cost so much to get the basic glasses, I could never afford transition lenses. Now I can, and I can have blue light blockers which as a college student is imperative because all we do is stare at the computer.

    The quality is better than I thought it would be, which is normally something that people sacrifice when they pay cheaper prices. But with Zenni, I don't do that. And if my glasses bend, I'm not tripping because I only paid $100, versus the $300 or $400 that I normally spend. Also, without COVID, the shipping is on point. And even in COVID, I ordered some glasses and had it shipped to my aunt’s house because of my cousin’s wedding, and it came right on time. It came in eight days flat. It said it would do the fast shipping, which is what I prayed for. If they could have an even faster option, people will pay for that just because they need it. A few weeks ago, my dog chewed those glasses, so I had to order a new pair. Because my astigmatism was high, my wait would be two weeks with anybody I went with. So, why would I pay 150 extra dollars and still have to wait the same time? I'd rather just buy from Zenni.

    Zenni is definitely something to consider. You should do it, especially if you have younger kids. Because kids grow out of glasses and they are rough. You would even be able to get your kids' sports glasses or goggles now. You would be able to afford it. Especially if you’re people who have assistance who can only pay for that one pair of glasses with whatever state or government insurance, you can afford another pair for your kid.

    Zenni glasses but I cannot wear them and I have wasted my money buying them. All I can hope to do is bring them to Vision Works and use the frames for another set of lenses. Something is wrong with my prescription so I don't think that you will give me another pair of glasses, so I am going to have to go back to my optometrist or go to Vision Work's optometrist and get the prescription fixed so that I can see correctly. I don't know how you can help me with that.

    My ophthalmologist actually recommended Zenni for my progressives when I complained about how expensive glasses are. So, I have to admit that I started my order feeling confident that it is a good product. There were so many options that I thought I would never be able to choose one! I used the online try-on feature using my own face and it was very cool. I thought the glasses would be done faster, but I have never had glasses before, so I guess I am spoiled by Amazon with non-custom products! Zenni emailed me every step of the way to keep me informed on where they were in the process of making and delivering my glasses.

    When they arrived, they were perfect. I love them. I am still getting used to wearing progressives since I had only been wearing readers previously.     I ordered the same glasses 3 times, 3rd time got them correct with Alyssa's help. The 3rd pair are just what I needed. First 2 pair had no distance in the lenses, just the readers. I would rate the 3rd pair as being a 5 had it not been for having to order them 3 times. I returned first pair for full credit and ordered 2nd pair which came with the same problems as first pair.     I got two pairs which are awesome. I got the scratch-resistant and the glare thing, and for the same pair from Zenni, their price was $190. Compared to the ones I got on right now were $6 I paid for the coatings and it was $23. So it's a good difference. I paid extra to get the first pair in 8 to 10 days. They came in a little early. I picked the normal shipping for the second pair and they came in a day or two early, too. The glasses are clear and the pupillary distance seems to have been right in the frames. I would like to find out if I could get multiple different coatings, like the glare and the anti-fog in one pair because I couldn't figure out how to do that. Also, I was worried about how the frames would fit since I couldn't try them on. But they are perfect for my head.

    My friend pointed me in the direction of Zenni after a pair of glasses I was wearing broke. I was given their website and the prices made me decide to try them out. The website was also fairly straightforward and pretty easy to use. But what I want for glasses was not really available for my prescription, which was sad because I really liked the look of frameless glasses. But other than that, they had a good selection and I scrolled for hours trying to figure out which one I wanted.

    The first pair of glasses I got from the website made me question things a little. When I folded the glasses, it would loosen the screw in one of the arms, which bothered me a little. But it wasn't going to fall apart. Compared to that, the glasses I recently bought have been holding up well. They're new so they're creaking a little bit.     We wouldn't be able to survive without Zenni as my child needs new prescriptions every six months. I love them so much and I've ordered so many pairs of glasses from them. They are doing the world a great service. But I don't like the online try-on of Zenni. Number one, there's no one on there that looks like me. Number two, I don't trust it because what I'm really looking for is the actual size, millimeter-wise, of the glasses. I wanted to know how wide are the glasses versus how tall are the lenses versus how wide are the actual lenses versus how wide is the bridge. On the try-on thing, if you put the glasses on any of those people, I don't feel like you're getting a true sense of the actual size of the glasses.

    Other than that, Zenni's products are perfect. I wanted to get inexpensive sunglasses that were cool and the ones I got from them were cheap. I got Ray-Ban knockoffs made into sunglasses that are the browline and they are my true loves. I also got the wayfarer that have mirrored rose gold lenses. And I can't get enough compliments for them. Zenni needs to do more marketing so that all the people can get the glasses because people I'm talking to don't have a clue. People are afraid of the pupil distance and they put a little ruler in there, but still, people don't know what to do with that. So, I tell people to go to a Vision 4 Less and ask them if they can do them a solid and get their PD.

    The first time that I talked to customer service, they weren't very helpful. But on the second time, they were extremely helpful. The ordering process was pretty good, except I ordered glasses for my son as well and I got some in that aren't my prescription. So I'll double check and see if they're his, otherwise, they're the wrong prescription. But overall, Zenni is pretty good to work with. I just have to take time to view all the glasses.

    My brother is probably Zenni's biggest fan and he told me about them. He has a bunch of glasses from there. They were affordable. I usually don't like the way glasses look on me so having something where if I hated it, it was 20 bucks was not that big of a deal. In navigating through their site, I wish that I can search all the glasses. My brother told me a hack where I go to all women's glasses then delete the word "women" out of the query. I can then search all glasses for both men and women. I don't like those divided by gender because that limits my options. I am then able to sort by price and easily find discount codes. That's easy.

    I used the Try-On thing in Zenni and I looked through the instructions on how to measure the pupillary distance. I only got one pair of glasses so far and I really like them. I've been getting a lot of compliments on them. I like bigger frames, which is why being able to sort that way was better. That could be anything from something big, chunky, and plastic. The ones that I just got are aviators. My brother told me the delivery could take three weeks but I got mine sooner than that.     I had to reorder my glasses. There was an issue with the prescription the first time. The customer service didn't seem to understand what I was asking for. I emailed them and they made me clarify in eight different emails. There's a time limit on how long they could have before they could send something back and get it returned. So, that was a little frustrating that they were eating up the time. There was a lot of clarification. But the second time around, they were great. The virtual try-on feature was cool. It was interesting to be able to see the glasses on my face before they get to my house. They came faster than the website said they would. Also, they're good glasses.     Between 2012 and 2016, I got my first pair of glasses from Zenni and bought five or six pairs since then because it's so cheap. They're fantastic glasses. My style has always been round, thin, full-rimmed glasses. I can go for perfectly round ones if I can because that's my favorite. I branched off from that style once because my wife wanted to have thicker rims.

    I just ordered a new pair because my last pairs were broken by children. The glasses getting broken is not a big deal because they didn't cost me an arm and a leg. That's the great thing. When I broke a pair of glasses from the eye doctor, I had to go six months without glasses because I didn't have the money to buy a new pair. Zenni made it so I don't ever have to go without glasses. I haven't bought a pair of glasses that were more than $50 from Zenni. My glasses cost 15 to 30 bucks. It seriously is a game-changer.

    I also haven't really interacted with customer service mostly because Zenni's process has been a clean one. I went to Walmart once in 2015 and I got the distance between my pupils measured. I got my prescription checked and it has been smooth sailing since then. I'm a very pleased customer. I love the options Zenni offers. You can get the glasses so that they adjust to the sunlight and you can get them so they are water-resistant. You decide how much you want to put in. I could buy a pair of glasses that are my prescription with no special features too. But I usually add a little bit so they end up being between 30 and 40. It's just nice having scratch-resistant and grease-resistant glasses. I recommended it to everybody.

    I have ordered 3 times, 4 pair. 100% satisfied with the quality, style and comfort of 2 pair in first order. The 2nd pair a different style, just gave me headaches and unable to wear.     Purchased 2 pair of progressive lens glasses, sunglass for driving, regular for desk work. The pair I use for desk work is good as long as I stay inside. The sunglasses are not really what I need. Trying to use them for working outside on the farm I need to be able to drive, work up close & mid range in various lighting conditions. These do not change tints & the intermediate range is almost nonexistent. While the frames are less expensive than local shops the measured PD was not accepted, adjusting the glasses has been very trying because of the amount of adjustment needed & the lack of specific direction provided. Also, the progressive tint provided by my local dealer is better than a solid tint on the Zenni glasses. The overall cost of the glasses is not that great of a difference.

Since you mentioned that you were confused about the order process regarding the Near-Range reading Addition correction (NV-ADD) on your prescription, we see that you selected standard progressive eyeglasses on your January 4, 2021, order, o3525841379, whereas on your most recent order, o4155446777, placed on September 15, 2021, it appears that you ordered these glasses as single-vision reading glasses, and although you lowered your distance pupillary distance (PD) 62 mm, by 3 mm, to 59 mm, which is the correct practice for single-vision reading glasses, if your Spheres were entered correctly, and if your NV-ADD is still +2.25, we would have recommended that for single-vision reading glasses, you would add the NV-ADD value of +2.25 to the right eye (OD) Spherical distance correction of -0.50, which would provide an OD Sphere of +1.75, and adding the ADD value of +2.25 to the left eye (OS) Spherical distance correction of +0.25 would result in an OS Sphere of +2.00. Nevertheless, we hope that you were able to see well with these eyeglasses with an OD Sphere of +1.00 and an OS Sphere of +1.75, which represents using an NV-ADD of +1.50 added to each Sphere. Perhaps your eye doctor lowered your NV-ADD to +1.50. However, insofar as this frame is broken, we want to recommend purchasing another frame 3217116 for $15.95 with free nonprescription lenses, and when you receive this frame with the nonprescription lenses, you may replace these nonprescription lenses in the new replacement frame with the lenses from the broken frame.     So it is easy to get cheaper glasses from Zenni. I have for many years. Unfortunately, the frames often break rather quickly. In the past, I have been able to get a replacement for these and place them onto the same lenses. Now, however, because it is too late to get an exchange, I have been told that I can no longer purchase only frames. I have to buy lenses too, even though I don't need lenses. This means that the frame has to come with lenses and cost more. My lens prescription is over $200, and the frames are only $47. But because they won't sell only the frames, I have to buy lenses. Even with non-prescription lenses, they are going to cost me almost $100 for frames with lenses I don't need. I think they should disclose this quite clearly from the beginning.

    Zenni's quality is amazing. We keep purchasing from them because we have kids, and our kids jump on us and ruin our glasses all the time. $400 a pair is not an option. With Zenni, the most we pay is for my husband's, and they're about 60 or 70 bucks. At that price, we can afford to have a few on hand. It's been a total game changer for us. My kid uses Zenni, too. We used to pay 250 bucks for her, and now they're like 30 bucks. So, it's great. If you accidentally throw them away, it's not a big deal.     Zenni’s products are good. I’m happy with it. They're a good price and quality is sufficient. I've purchased really expensive glasses before, and I think that the quality of those glasses is better but I don't think that you have to have that high quality for some eyewear. Zenni's try-on portion didn't really work for mine. It made it look like they were way bigger than they were.     I ordered a pair of glasses with progressive lenses based on some positive comments and a price that was clearly better than other online sites. When I received the glasses about 2 weeks later, they were so poor that I was unable to find any area of the lenses where my vision was not blurry or distorted. I contacted customer service and they provided a return mailing label and advised they would conduct an inspection and report the results. After inspecting the glasses they indicated that they were not up to their quality standards and offered to either remake them, give me a store credit or refund 50% of the purchase price. The only reasonable option was to have them remade and I returned them. In doing so I questioned why the product was not subjected to a quality review prior to sending them and insisted that the remade glasses be reviewed prior to shipment.

    A few days ago I received the remade glasses and, frankly, they are no more than 15-20% better, meaning that there are still completely unusable. I contacted Custer service via email and after not getting any help for 2 days called their customer service. Now I’m stuck because of their absurd return policy which allows them to make and send a poor product and force you to either take a store credit for the full value or take a 50% refund to my credit card. After they failed on two attempts to make usable glasses, what good will a store credit do when I have no confidence in their ability to produce lenses according to my prescription? If I take the 50% option I’m allowing them to profit from their own incompetence.

    In looking at the sites of many other such companies, all of them offer full refunds. Of the ones I looked at only Zenni fails to back their products with full credit. My advice is, if you are looking for progressive lenses stay away. Perhaps a simpler prescription such as for reading glasses can be produced at the right level of quality.

    There is no direct way to tell if a pair of glasses is going to be able to fit somebody's head based on any dimensions listed. I figured they get that from pupil distance but pupil distance doesn't necessarily correlate to head. Also, I bought my glasses as a spare pair but I realized that I can't wear them to work because they sit too close to my face and get really sweaty really fast. But the price is significantly cheaper than going through any doctor's office.

Zenni recommended High Index for my prescription glass, but it costs more, so I went with the Mid Index like the last 3 orders.     I got square and all black glasses with large frame from Zenni. They're awesome. The quality is good. When I opened them, they seemed like they were cheaper built than my last year's pair.     I explained in my above referenced question the following: The darkening change for the 1.61 Photochromic - Gray is only very slight. I would estimate only about 20% if I'm wearing them in the sun. I placed them in direct sunlight for a hour and the change was greater (approximate 40%). Is this correct?? The response I received from: Casey H. Zenni Customer Service was not an answer at all to my question. She basically explained to me how photochromatic lens work. I know this. I've been wearing glasses for over 50 years and have had the photochromatic lens in the past and know how they work.

    These glasses are very nice and the Rx is good but the photochromatic tint is inadequate for driving. I have to be standing in direct sunlight for the lens to darken. Is this right? If so, then Zenni should state these are only for direct sunlight and are inadequate for protecting eyes in bright lights if you are not in direct sunlight. They are not good sun-glasses for driving a car.

    Thank you for posting your Zenni review of the gray photochromic (light-sensitive, auto-tinting) feature on the lenses of your single-vision distance glasses in full-rim, rectangular, aviator-style, stainless-steel, spring-hinged, gray frame 451312, with a frame width of 142 millimeters. We were sorry to read that you are displeased with the photochromic feature, which you feel does not get dark enough, especially when you are wearing the glasses in the car while you are driving. Consequently, we apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result. We want to advise that a car’s windshield, rear window, and side windows have UV protection, and that the photochromic feature’s reaction to UV light is what activates the darkening property of the photochromic feature. Therefore, the lenses will not change color while you are driving. As we advised in our response to your inquiry about this matter, the lenses will darken in bright sunlight to approximately 50-60 percent dark under optimum conditions – a cold, sunny day. However, since you state that the darkest the lenses got was approximately 40 percent dark when you left the glasses outside for an hour, and since this order is within its 30-day warranty period, which starts the day the glasses are delivered, we want to invite you to take pictures of the lenses when they are at their darkest, please email these pictures to us at service@zennioptical.com, and please put your order number, o4097662083, in the subject line of the email. Please also attach the pictures of the lenses in the body of the email, and also in the body of the email please ask us to peruse the pictures to see if they appear dark enough. It is good to know that the distance vision through the top of the lenses is good, but we were sorry to read that you are having difficulty seeing well through the reading portion toward the bottom of the lenses. Consequently, we apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result. We want to confirm that the top of the progressive reading corridor is placed at 5 mm above the center line of the lens. This is a 36-mm tall lens, so the center line is at 18 mm up from the bottom, with the top of the progressive reading corridor placed at 23 mm up from the bottom. The intermediate (computer) and near (reading) sections are approximately 5-7 mm tall each. We also want to confirm that the style of progressive glasses we use is called free form, with a 12-14 mm-wide progressive reading corridor and no vision correction on either side. We recommend that customers point their nose at what they are reading, rather than moving their eyes from side to side. If this information does not help you see well through the reading section at the bottom of the lenses, insofar as this order is within its 30-day warranty period, which starts the day the glasses are delivered, we want to advise that you may return these glasses to us for an inspection.
