I had an amazing experience with Zenni. Great prices, and they came to my house at the appropriate time. Thank you very much for a great experience. They fit and were the right prescription and I’ve got lots of compliments for the rainbow glasses I ordered.

Zenni's site is very easy directed so I could direct around it and find what I want very easily. There are a lot of options as well. Delivery usually takes 2 to 3 weeks but it took almost 2 full weeks for my purchase. I bought a pair for my truck, a pair for work, and a pair for other work, so I got 3 pairs. The frames are black and made of carbon fiber. I like them better than my $300 pair.

One of my co-workers recommended Zenni Optical. Everything went fine with them. The ordering process was self-explanatory and easy. I really like my new glasses. I have the full rim rectangular ones and they look stylish right now.

My sister ordered glasses from Zenni and then I followed suit. She gave me the first pair of glasses but her prescription was different than mine. I liked the frames though so I decided to try it myself with the correct prescription. When I first ordered it, my sister helped me because it was a little confusing for me. But the second time, I did it on my own and I didn't have any problem with it. The first pair I got needed some adjustment, but the second pair didn’t. Now, I have two pairs and both of them are full rims. All in all, I'm happy with my experience. They were what they look and I wouldn't have returned them or wanted anything different. I'm gonna order a pair of sunglasses next and my daughter is going to try it too.

I've ordered from Zenni for over a year. This time, I ordered the same glasses I had in the past. I had that for about a year and I just really like them. But they started to chip on the metal piece that touches your face when it had like a reaction to it. I love my eyewear from Zenni and I'm never gonna buy again from a retail store.

I should have done my research first but I didn't and I got robbed by this extremely dishonest company. I put my prescription in correctly the same way I did when ordering from other online sites and received glasses that I could not see out of. I called customer service and was told to send them back for inspection and upon confirmation that it was their blunder (which it was) I would be refunded 100% BUT they don't tell you it's not back to your account, it's in the form of Zenni Bucks. So, if you're a disgruntled customer such as myself, I doubt you'll be wanting to buy from them again. They gave me 50% of my money back to my credit card. So I'm out 40$, they're 40$ richer and I still don't have glasses. From now on, I'll stick with Warby Parker. At least they aren't out to rob people. Do your research or you'll end up just like me.

When we have made a pair of glasses that a customer returns for an inspection, confirming that they entered the prescription and pupillary distance (PD) correctly, and the inspection finds that we made the glasses incorrectly, we will offer to remake the glasses for the customer. If the remake is returned for an inspection and it fails, we will offer to remake the glasses again, or if the customer declines this offer, the customer can receive a full refund of the price of the glasses, as well as the shipping fee. In this instance, you declined the remake and requested a full refund, but we regret that we declined to offer this refund. Instead, on December 14, 2019, we issued the 50 percent refund, $20.27, to your credit card. Therefore, in response to your initial request, we are refunding an additional $28.71, which represents a refund of the remaining 50 percent of the cost of the glasses, as well as the $8.45 Priority shipping fee. You should receive an email from our lab later tonight, confirming this additional $28.71 refund. We hope that this full refund will resolve this matter to your satisfaction.

After a friend told me about Zenni, I used them fro the first time. I got sunglasses and the delivery really fast. I expected it to be longer but I got it a week or so which was shorter than the time they said. The quality of the sunglasses is nice as well. I probably would purchase again from them if I needed new glasses.

I’ve been using Zenni for many years and the customer service is excellent. But if I was gonna suggest they do something better, they should tell people to get a ruler with the millimeter dimensions on it and measure the glasses that fit, even the size of the lens. I’ve ordered glasses, big and small, and I tried the eyewear on with the picture with my own picture in it, and they look fine. But then when I get the glasses, they’re not the same as what I saw. It’s a question of the size of the lens being too big, or the size of the lens being small, and all that other things. Yet in general, I have no problem dealing with Zenni. I had a problem earlier where they had to remake a couple of pair of it for me and they took care of it quickly and completely. Then, I just reordered my glasses yesterday, So, that would attest to the fact that I generally feel good about dealing with Zenni.

The prescription is good but the measurements do not match the stated sizes. Material is light weight and the frame broke after a few days. Zenni would not refund and only sent a replacement frame. I will spend my money elsewhere. You get what you pay for.

I've been ordering from Zenni for probably two or three years. I heard about the company from my aunt. Ordering from Zenni is efficient and it's better than any in-person optometrist. The selection is just much stronger in variety. Also, ordering takes like three clicks and you're done. I get my item in a week and a half to three weeks depending on the influx of their orders. There was a time when they forgot to include a $5 item. I contacted them and they sent me another one.

So, I ordered a pair and they sent me the absolutely wrong prescription, which turns out cynically, to be an error in their favor. Three weeks passed and I never received confirmation from them, so I decided to call their outsourced "customer service." While speaking to a supposed manager, I was told that I could not get a full refund because that's not their policy, even when they proved themselves to be totally incompetent dealing with my issue.
I was repeatedly told by the manager that, "They had me on tape" agreeing to the return policy, so they couldn't make me whole. This is not a binding legal contract and how insane is it to hear, "We have you on tape," over and over again (the lady also had a Russian name and accent). Are they part of the surveillance state? The KGB? Now those lovies made sure to get you on tape. I'll just put a hold on the balance and it's funny because I know many people who have had good experiences with them. I advise you to be wary though. They might as well send out wrong prescriptions to trap more people and their money. Remember, They WILL have YOU ON TAPE, Soviet style.

Buying glasses through Zenni was convenient and easy. I did a facial upload to do a virtual try-on which was helpful. I got keyhole frame glasses from them. I have an oddly shaped face so the glasses didn't fit like how I imagined them to. Also, the lenses get really oily easily which is an issue I've not had with glasses in the past. Still, I just clean them and they're fine again. I was pleased with Zenni's pricing and my overall experience.

I ordered 3 pairs of glasses for my husband and myself. We had an excellent experience and the glasses fit perfectly. I'm grateful for affordable glasses that suit our style. With a high prescription I'm used to paying much higher prices to get a thinner lens. Looking forward reordering some other funky frames in the near future.

My friend's husband was happy with his glasses he got from Zenni, and so I figured that I would give it a try too. I had a pair that didn’t fit right at the beginning. I contacted them and they told me that I could have a full exchange or I could have a half refund. I just picked out another pair of glasses and took those, and I’ve been happy.
The ordering process wasn’t too difficult and I like the fact that they had saved my prescription from over a year before. I got a new pair of glasses that are full rimmed, and I’ve been satisfied. I used to wear the other kind with little nose pads, and I was watching a dog and he was staying right in front of me. The next thing I know, he headbutted me in the face. And if I had had the other kind of glasses on, I probably would have gotten really hurt, but I didn’t. I had the plastic ones on. And so, I had decided that I was gonna be using the plastic ones from now on. I got two pairs in the mail, and I’m not sure if the frame of one of the pairs is too big or too heavy on my nose because I broke my nose when I tripped on some steps. Other than that, I’m totally happy with Zenni.

We got Round Rose Gold frames and Gold Premium Aviator Sunglasses and absolutely love them both! My boyfriend has been using Zenni for years, but these are only my second RX glasses and I’m thrilled about them! We will be back for more!

First the positive. The glasses were so pretty and affordable. The customer service reps were very nice. But there was a defect with the right lens where I could not see out of it and everything was blurry. I had my eyes re-examined by a different eye doctor, and he discovered the prescription was too strong, but that I still should’ve been able to see clearly out of them. I returned the glasses and was told I’d get a 50% refund or 100% store credit. I would have preferred 100% refund as I won’t be ordering any more glasses from Zenni. I did love the frames though.

I’m currently waiting on my next pair to come in and It makes me happy knowing I’m getting affordable custom glasses without having to pay hundreds out of pocket for overly expensive glasses that have the same if not worse functionality than Zenni’s stock.

I ordered a pair of glasses with progressive lenses from Zenni. Distance vision was noticeably poorer than my previous pair from another vendor, and close up vision did not work at all. I had to remove the glasses to read. I thought my eyes had deteriorated but measurements by an optometrist showed that the lenses were out by half a diopter, and that the graduation of focus was too little to allow close up vision. Apparently, half a diopter is a fairly common amount of error in standard manufacturing. I paid extra to have precision machined lenses from a local optometrist, and the results were miraculous. I have not seen this well, ever, and close up vision is great. The lesson I learn from this is that it is not wise to try save a few buck on eyesight. It's too precious.

Love the frame, but I can't wear them. Not sure if it is because of the lens I bought or if I truly need to adjust to wearing them. Bummer because I was excited to have different pairs to wear. Scared to purchase more.

I ordered from Zenni and when I received my glasses the first time, I didn't like how dark the fashion was and I found that it made me not wear them very often. I contacted Zenni about it and even though it was not their mistake, they allowed me to return the glasses for a store credit. I sent them back and as soon as the post office picked up the package, my credit was issued. There was no hassle. I picked out a rimless pair of glasses and ordered progressive lenses for the first time. I was very nervous that I might not like them but I absolutely love them. They arrived quickly and I wear them much more than I planned on. I wear contact lenses also and I love these glasses so much that a lot of days, I wear my glasses instead. I will most definitely be a repeat customer. I'm already eyeing some sunglasses! Thank you Zenni.

Ordered 2 year ago and everything was great. Ordered 2 pair this year and was totally disappointed. I called and specifically ask if bifocal line showed and was told it didn't. IT DID. COULD NOT EVEN WEAR. Only to get credit!!

We were sorry to learn that you could not see well with the glasses, and we apologize for any disappointment you experienced as a result. As our customer service representative advised during your Chat session, using a single pupillary distance (PD) of 59 millimeters when your eye doctor provided a dual PD of 28 mm (right) and 30 mm (left) would not result in optimum vision. Moreover, as our representative mentioned, the three pairs of glasses on your January 2017 have progressive prescription lenses, which are no-line multifocal glasses. These progressive glasses were ordered with a dual PD of 27 mm (right) and 29 mm (left). If you could see well with those glasses, we recommend using those PD values. But if you have ordered glasses with a dual PD of 28 mm / 30 mm, and you were able to see well with those glasses, too, then that also would be a good dual PD to use. We were sorry and puzzled to read that you were told by someone at Zenni that a line would not show on a bifocal lens. We all know that bifocals have a noticeable line on the lens, and we are sorry for any confusion you experienced as a result of this matter. We trust that this clarifies these matters to your satisfaction.

I lose my glasses a lot or break them and it's hard to get to the eye doctor every single time that happens so I order online, which is way more convenient. It's also cost-efficient and quick so I like it. This month, I bought glasses that have full rims. The ordering process was very user-friendly and simple. I don't know anything about glasses, but it was easy to type in my prescription and order. Zenni Optical is great and I'll probably keep using them for as long as I could.

I ordered a frame with glass lens, but they send me with plastic lens and it got badly scratched within a week, I complained them, they send me another one with same plastic lens. Again same story within 2 weeks. They did not refunded me and didnt replaced it either. I paid more than 150 dollars for cheap plastic lens that they sold me in name of glass lens with scratch resistant coating and other good marketing stuff which is useless in reality and everyday real usage.

In addition, we would like to provide some information we hope will be helpful. We do not make glass optical lenses, nor does any other optical retailer, except for some specialty locations. We are sorry if you believed that you were getting glass lenses, but we do not know how you arrived at this assumption. All of our lenses are identified on our website as composed of various types of plastic. Nowhere on our website do we advise that we manufacture eyeglasses with any material other than plastic. When you contacted us to advise that your lens got scratched, we remade your eyeglasses for free. We are sorry that the lens of the remade glasses got scratched, as well. We are also sorry for any confusion you experienced about optical lenses, or about the price of your order. Although you state that you paid more than $150.00, in fact your order was $46.72, and the remake was free. We see no other orders placed by you with Zenni Optical. I have only cleaned my lenses using soft fabric and water, the coating has come off with viewable circles appearing within the 1 year mark. I notified customer service and they would not honor the warranty. I will not be buying another pair of glasses due to the poor quality of the coatings they put on their lenses.

I have friends who have told me about Zenni, although I am an avid Warby Parker customer. I ordered my glasses and it took 2 weeks to get here. Then when I tried them on, the prescription was wrong. Everything seemed small and far away, like a magnifying glass. When purchasing AND on the packaging you receive your glasses in, it states "refunds are permitted within 30 days of purchase."
What they DON'T tell you is that you only have 2 options. Return the glasses and only get a 50% refund, which means they get to keep the product and take half of your money... OR return it and get 100% store credit, forcing the unhappy customers to shop at their store again. I find this to be extremely cheap and very crooked. The fact that they messed up your prescription, but they don't take responsibility to return your money, only half? It's terrible. So buy at your own risk. Honestly, I will never purchase from here again and I will advise everyone I know to do the same.

Zenni was recommended by my nail girl and my experience with them was great. When you go to an optical store, the options are very limited. But Zenni had lots of options and styles. They were reasonably priced, too. I ordered two pairs of eyewear and they’re of completely different styles. I love them both and my six-year old daughter insists that she needs eyeglasses as well just because she wants something like mine. Zenni's online ordering process was also really fast. I thought it was gonna take about two weeks as their site said, but I had my glasses within four days. Other than that, the quality is not the best. Like the color and style. I have a round face and these glasses look good on my face. Some reviews stated they were too big and slide down on the nose. Other reviews, stated the glasses fit well. I should have listen to the reviews, as these glasses slide down my nose. So, I have $100 eyeglasses that don't get much use. This is my second order from Zenni.

Sunglasses. I ordered the wrong tint. 90% The glasses were too dark so I don't use them that frequently. I just ordered another pair of glasses ** and was disappointed that Polycarbonate or Trivex lens cannot be ordered in Photochromic.

I've bought rimless eyewear from Zenni Optical multiple times. I have a history, which is why I'm ordering the same style. But if that style is not available anymore, they have recommendations at the bottom of the website and it kinda fits my style. They told me shipping would take two to three weeks, but I was surprised when they sent it to me in about a week and a half. Also, I like the eyewear's quality.

I've ordered twice now, and was not disappointed either time! The virtual try on is so, so helpful. I also appreciate seeing photos of real people in their glasses, because that's helpful too. Some people have said these frames were too heavy; I did not find that to be the case. I was also able to adjust them by running the temples under hot water.

Well I ordered the wrong prescription on my glasses twice. The first time I take full responsibility. The return store credit was very fair. But then I sent my prescription in so you could see it. I put all the correct numbers in but I put + instead of minus. I didn't know. I'm disappointed that the professional staff did not catch that I ordered the same thing again. If you like crooked frames that are also too close to your eyes that your eyelashes hit the lens all day then buy glasses from Zenni. There is absolutely no way to adjust these frames. I tried everything from boiling water, to hair dryer to adjust them. I took them to two brick and mortar optical places and both told me that the frames are not adjustable due to the type of plastic and hinges. The lens are not high quality either. I had the EXACT same prescription as my previous Varilux and Carl Zeiss lens but had extreme eye strain and couldn't focus in the Zenni lenses - I couldn't stop rubbing my eyes so they were red and itchy feeling. I stopped wearing the glasses today and put my old ones back on - my eyes are starting to finally feel better after about 3 hours of not wearing the Zenni lenses. It goes back to the old adage "you get what you pay for."

I bought my husband this same pair 8/30/18 and they’ve broken twice since then. Not sure how since he’s extremely careful with them. I had to re-buy the frame because the arms fell off of the original pair. And I am going to pay optometrist to put lenses in new frame. I love the shapes but I am not clear on warranty on frames. How does a customer send frames back for repairs? Other than that I like the variation in frames but they seem to weaken after wear.

Somehow the prescription numbers were wrong. When glasses arrived they the were unusable. The quality of the frames was very cheap plastic. I'm not very pleased with the policy of in store credit. I would prefer a full refund on my credit card.

Really impressed with ease of ordering online and how quickly they came. But was disappointed when I received them and realized they weren't compressed lenses. I bought Aviator sunglasses and 1 lens is visibly bigger than the other due to my prescription difference. I guess this isn’t as visible with plastic frames. I recently ordered a pair of glasses and within a few days I had broken a hinge. It was entirely my fault... Trying to get undressed while wearing glasses is NOT A GOOD IDEA! I contacted Zenni Customer Service and was informed how to order a replacement frame only and advised that I would have no problem in popping out the lenses and installing them in the new frames. The replacement frames arrived in a week! It was easy to install the lenses and, like every pair of glasses I have bought from Zenni, the fit was perfect from the first time I put them on. This is my first experience ordering eyeglasses online. I'm an older man who has worn glasses or contact lenses since elementary school. I looked at some other sites first and was a little put off by the difficulty of ordering lenses and frames. Zenni made the process more user-friendly. It also helped that my optometrist gave me a very detailed and accurate prescription including pupillary distance. I made a dumb mistake on the frames on the first pair I ordered but Zenni allowed me a store credit on my next order. I got a pair of glasses for everyday wear including driving and another pair for computer use and close work. Zenni makes those specializations easy. I am slightly difficult to fit with frames. For me lighter weight frames in medium width fit fine but heavier frames are a little too tight. The lenses are great, they exceeded expectation. I wear progressive bifocals and these lenses are as good as any I've ever had. I will order from Zenni again.

As of today, I have ordered and purchased 13 pairs of glasses from Zenni Optical, not only because they are affordable but the design and prescriptions have been consistently great! I haven't had any issues with the products and I am always pleasantly surprised at the quality. I recommend Zenni to anyone who wants a great pair of glasses at an even better rate!

They are cute and all but the prescription is wrong, hurts my eyes and gives me a big headache so they are just going to rust away since I will never be using them. Thank you though, like I said they are nice. Just a few problems.

Medicor at best, didn't get for what I requested for online. Frames are a hit and missed when when you do this online. Photo deal on how glasses look is a joke at best. Settle for what got but will shop around next time.

Unfortunately my progressive lenses are not to my satisfaction. I realize these are really difficult to fit and ordering them online is a real gamble. Also I really don’t like the way they fit above my ear. The “arms” are very long and protrude way past my ears. In order to see clearly through them I have to tip them way down on my nose. So disappointed.

Absolute horrible company and product; a waste of time and money. I paid extra for 1.67 high index lenses and was given 1.59 instead. I sent them back to be inspected and they insist that the lenses are 1.67 and replied via email with fake measurements that are not possible for my prescription. I took the glasses to a total of 3 different optical places, had the lenses measured and all 3 places came back with the same measurements meaning Zenni lied about their product and inspection. The lenses themselves are hard to see through; if you try to look outside of your PD it’s blurry. If you look at the lenses themselves, you can see the variation of the thickness and the aberration caused by the inferior manufacturing. The only thing that’s somewhat redeemable is the frames themselves; they are cute but not worth this hassle. I just wanted what I paid for and instead was given an inferior product and a bunch of lip service. Garbage.

One of my cousins had tried Zenni out and really liked the results as well as the price point. I also had great experiences with them for the last 10 years. The quality is nice for the price. I like the large resin square frames. I got a fairly new set of cat-eye glasses and I really like them. I have a four-year-old, so when she was going through her toddler years, I felt like updating them was more frequent than I needed replacements. But, otherwise, my prescription had stayed relatively stable, so it is stretching out a little bit longer. Ordering online is super easy. I appreciate that Zenni stores your prescription information and keeps it on file. That makes it easy to apply. The longest I’ve waited is a month for an item to arrive, but that was most likely due to me since I travel for work.

I tried Zenni for my daughter's eyeglasses. They were fine for two months but then the screw came loose and I didn't know how to orient the lens when putting it back in. When I contacted customer service via chat and asked if they could offer guidance on how to turn the lens to fix it or if I could send them back for readjustment they said no and recommended I go to a local optometrist or buy a new pair outside of the 30 day warranty window. I won't be doing either of these nor will I be purchasing from Zenni again. EyeBuyDirect has better customer service so I'll be buying there in the future although my daughter likes this pair and there's nothing wrong with them. Thanks for nothing Zenni! I do not recommend this company.

Everything was really great. I love the frame so I ended up ordering another one just to get the frame. But when the glasses came, it looked more blurry than my natural eye vision. It was way off. It was worse than my natural vision when I took the glasses off. I'd probably will never order from them because of this. But I kept the frame and I went to my regular optometrist and had it done. I noticed that I can't just get the frame from Zenni. So it would be great if they can just sell the frame. The product is good but whoever is doing the cut is not doing a good job.

I purchased a few eyeglasses and they were fine. Last November I punched a pair of eyeglasses and now they are oxidizing and cracking. Because I’m way over the one-month return timeframe they are telling me that there is nothing to be done. Unacceptable.

The progressive glasses fit and my vision is good. My fear was not having a real person do the measurements of the pupils. However from my prescription I got great results. I ordered my regular prescription, which is no-line progressive, from Zenni Optical and the glasses were fine. However, I didn’t like the thickness of the frame on my face so I returned them and got credited. I was able to find the old order of the glasses that I have now. I need ones with an updated prescription, so I’m going to reorder the same style today.

A friend told me about Zenni Optical. Their price was cheaper than other companies and they had a huge selection. So, I went online and ordered from them. I uploaded one of my pictures to get an idea as to what the glasses would look like on me and my purchasing experience was amazing. At first, I wasn’t sure about the distance between the pupils and I didn’t know that was a thing. But once I figured that out, it was super easy. And I like that they could save your prescription online. Also, I had the glasses quicker than I expected and in general, I threw every pair that I've bought from Zenni and they’ve all survived. I got six pairs from them so far and my favorite is the squarish style with the metal frame. I love them.

So this is the 3rd time I get an eyeglasses from Zenni. Usually everything moves smooth. This time I had an unexpected plan and decided to leave in 4 days. I paid for the priority shipping, so I called them and they said your package arrived from China (1st surprise) and will be mailed to reach you within 10-14 days from order date. I asked if they can just mail it out today (never asked to to switch to express as they told me even if i pay difference it's not an option now), they were like robots (just wait for an email), so what is the reason to have a customer service if they are not willing to help in situations. Order #**.

My husband found Zenni online and he had a great experience. He has regular kind of glasses and he's super happy. I have progressive, though, so mine are more expensive and I'm more limited to the styles I get. For new people, ordering online is a little scary because you have to measure the gap between your eyes. I was a little nervous about that but I did it exactly. They have a video which is super helpful. You can print a ruler, which I was really impressed with. The hardest thing is if the glasses don't work well. You have to go through returning them in the mail, and they didn't reimburse my postage. That's kind of a bummer because when you have any problems and you go to a store, you don't have to face that. They'll just try and fix it for you and you're not out any pocket.
But Zenni has been really helpful. I could not use the pair of glasses I got - I could not focus my eyes and it gave me a headache. So, I called them and they gave me a new pair. I've had it now for at least a week but I'm still struggling a bit, and I don't really know why, because it's the same prescription that I had before and the first pair of glasses I ever got was like, "Wow! I can see so well!" I haven't yet experienced that, but as far as their effort and customer service, they've been amazing. And the glasses came quicker than they said it would come, so I really appreciated that.

I Googled blue light blockers and I found Zenni Optical. I purchased from them and the process was pretty seamless. The products seem standard as well though I don't wear them all the time.

I wanted the snap on shades and a friend told me about Zenni Optical. I bought from them and my new glasses are fabulous. I ordered two pairs. One had a snap on shade and it was a tortoise shell, then the other one has a plastic frame. I also ordered a third pair for a friend that did not work out as the lenses were too big. He had a half frame and it was rimless on the bottom. And he ended up not being able to use them. He tried to return them but it didn’t work and he ended up keeping them. Other than that, I have owned my glasses for two and a half years and I still use them. But recently, I had to get a second frame of a different style because one of the screws fell out. All in all, the quality of Zenni's glasses is standard and the pair I just got seems to be a little bit harder than the last pair. But I'd give the style a very high rating. They’re very fairly priced for the quality, too.

The day my glasses arrived there was a an issue. I assumed the return process would be simple, granted I had a reasonable issue with my frames. When I reached out to customer service for my "RA" form, the customer service representative let me know returns were not in full. They said I could do 100% store credit or 50% refund. People need to know that Zenni optical is a hoax. They want to be user-friendly and steal your money at the same time. Will never buy again, and will actively work to educate future consumers of the wrongdoing by Zenni optical.

I ordered two pairs of glasses from Zenni, and I paid extra for fast shipping. The glasses were nice, and I loved those! The prescription was WAY off, I took the glasses to my eye doctor and they examined the glasses and the workers couldn't believe how off the glasses were to my prescription! I called Zenni to express my anger towards this, and let them know that I needed the glasses in a timely manner because I'm traveling Europe! They sent me a tracking label, and told me to give them 10 days to inspect the glasses and they would get back to me. If you're in a rush and needing glasses quick, I wouldn't recommend Zenni!

Ordering through Zenni was super easy. It took me less than 15 minutes. I got my glasses in about two weeks, which is quicker than how I get them at the eye doctor, so that's really convenient too. And the glasses work and fit perfectly. I bought them as an extra pair because I have prescription glasses but my insurance only covers one. I bought them to have in my bag just in case I forget the other pair. It's a really affordable alternative. I definitely recommended it to a couple of people who don't have insurance.

Unfortunately, I have had a terrible customer service experience Zenni Optical. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses, 1 progressive, 1 single vision. The single vision seem okay, but the progressives were way off. I sent back the progressives asking them to remake them. I have been going back and forth for weeks trying to tell them the issue, and EVERY SINGLE TIME they come back to me having read my email incorrectly, or sending back the wrong information. Seriously, folks, it should not take 6 emails to get the info right.
Now, they HAVE FINALLY concluded, after weeks and weeks of this back and forth that the glasses are defective, but they are saying that I sent them back the single vision, which I DID NOT! I have the single vision. I need them to see. Now they want me to send back the single vision to prove that I am right before they make me a pair of progressives (which I PAID FOR!), which means that I will be without glasses until I get one or the other or both of the glasses I ORDERED WEEKS AGO back. This is extremely frustrating. Extremely. Cheaper is not worth it if you don't get glasses that you can actually wear because they made them wrong.

I got a notification that my Zenni glasses will be delivered on a specific day, but it wasn’t, and it was the next day. I relayed that to my neighbor so they could get the package. And I wasn’t able to get more information about it. The finish of the glasses I got was very plasticky.

After several returns and getting many measurements ( math used ) I figured that a lower profile lens would put the segment height more where I needed it. I went from a 34 mm lens to a 32 mm height and a bridge width of 17 instead of 19 ( which raises your sight line ). It would have been easier had the significance of these measurements been known up front. Customer service was supportive and emails answered promptly.

They use a generic formula for the segment height which isn't right for many people. After returning blurry glasses 3 times and getting all my measurements verified by a local optician and even after the customer service rep said to add all the measurements I needed to my order did they finally say that they don't or won't adjust the segment height. So through no fault of my own I only get a 50% refund or blurry glasses---BE WARNED.

I first heard about Zenni Optical through my cousin. She has been going to them for about four years. My daughter needed glasses so I asked her what the name was called and ordered some glasses. The glasses were both full rim and very well-priced. Once you know your prescription, it makes the whole system great. It’s very broken down. Even with insurance through my daughter’s father, I still spend less on a pair of glasses through them than through the actual optical place.
They are very time efficient. When I ordered the glasses, I was like okay, it will be about a month, but they got the glasses to me in less than two weeks. That’s a big deal. I feel like with this kind of world, we’re a very we-want-it-now type of society, so it was a great surprise when I opened up my mailbox, then I saw the glasses in the mail in less time than what they had given me. I definitely recommend it. I looked at other online glasses and nothing compares to Zenni price-wise. My daughter is a year and a half. She has an opinion about everything, but she can’t really vocally tell me but compared with the glasses that we got from the optical place she wears the one from Zenni more.

Somebody else had a good experience with Zenni, and I gave them a try and continued using them. I have done multiple purchases and I’m pretty satisfied. Mine are mostly all full rectangular rims, and my son’s are kind of the half rim with the wire bottom. The ones I’m wearing right now are pretty new. Out of the 20 pairs I ordered, I’ve had issues with three. One was a little crooked so I never really wore it. Then I had a pair that I recently ordered which is the same frame where one side, for some reason, the lens keep popping out. But they’re so cheap, I don’t really kinda worry about it.
The ordering process is easy. When you get in to the type of glass and the tinting, for somebody who doesn’t know eyewear, it’s a little difficult to understand. But I like how they give you recommendations because I don’t really know much about glasses. And I like how it lets you pick the rectangular ones, and then you don’t have to look at every single pair of glasses on there.

Great frames and fit but prescription totally unacceptable. I've been wearing progressive lenses for over 20 years. On my first order from Zenni the reading field was so small it was impossible to focus on any printed material of any size. The glasses were returned for inspection and I was told that that they were properly made. I took a %50 refund on my original form of payment instead of a %100 Zenni credit as I will never order from them again.

This has been my first order with Zenni. I have never ordered glasses online before, it was pretty easy, but hard making a selection as I did love a lot of the styles. I went with two of the cheap frames, and one set mid range, very light and stylish. I have about a medium face and all three sets fit perfectly right out of the box. I have put them on for the first time and I couldn't believe how clear the lenses were. I wish the clip on sunglasses were a little better quality but it will not stop me from purchasing from Zenni again. Very happy, now we see how they hold up over time. Thank you sooo much.

Everything went pretty well with Zenni. When the glasses came in the mail, it seemed like there was a little bit of a slight bend to the frame, but it was nothing worth really returning the product. I have used other online ones and I like the quality for the price at Zenni better. I also like the options a lot. We have four of us that wear glasses. I like bling. I’d like to find something that’s really flashy. But then my boys like something more mild. I have a special needs son and so, I look for anything that’s really flexible like the sports glasses. I wouldn’t mind if they got some more of those sport option ones, like the ones with the straps. Those are the ones that I’d like to get for him. If there were more of those that would be awesome.
It's been quite a few years now that I've been ordering from them. The ordering is simple and nice. In fact, my sister, mom and dad order there because I tell them it’s so easy. The shipping time is the only downside. It takes almost two weeks usually to receive the product. And I know my sister’s takes even longer ‘cause she’s out in the country. I’ve had a few friends that have used Zenni Optical and they really liked it, and said that they were pretty cheap. My son then broke his glasses and it wasn’t time yet for prescription to be renewed, so I used Zenni. I’ve only ordered once, but I got three pairs for two of my sons. So, they have worked out great and I wanna order more. They had a lot of options. The only thing I didn’t realize when I bought mine was that there was like a writing on the side of the glasses. When I got them, my son was a little disappointed, but that was more of my fault because I didn’t’ pay attention. I paid extra for shipping ‘cause I needed them as soon as possible and they came on time. They said it would be here within seven to 10 days expedited, and I got it within a week.

There is a nice variety of styles, and great prices for eyewear. My shipment was quick and I appreciate receiving a case, and accessories. However 3 things didn't work in my favor.
2. 75% of the protective rubber parts have fallen off of my glasses including the nose cushion or guard or whatever it's called.
3. The metal parts on the lens stick out too far which for a normal person would be okay, but because I have Graves disease and proptosis (bulging eyes) I'm always afraid I'll push my glasses up too far and poke my eye.

My wife and I were moving into a place we were renting up in Tahoe and there was an older couple that owned the home. The wife mentioned Zenni to us and I decided to take a look. I have a pretty bad vision so my glasses are usually extremely expensive 'cause I have to get a special material lens so that they fit in frames. I ordered from Zenni and it came as quick as getting them from an eye doctor. Right now, I've got two pairs. My wife has talked me into the Elvis Costello ones and I like them. I also have a pair of aviators, which is classic looking but it will be nice if they have more modest, classic styles.

The glasses that I got from my eye doctor and insurance were breaking, and I needed a pair but my insurance wouldn’t cover it. It was easier to order it through Zenni. I don't like the ordering experience though because there are too many options. I did it on my phone, and it recommends that you get this or that. If you don’t want that, it’s very confusing on how you’re supposed to click it. If you click one thing, it changes your prior choices. If you go further down the list and you click on something about the lenses, it will change something you’ve already selected. I said I didn’t want sunglasses, but then it changes my regular glasses into transition lenses, and I didn’t want any of that. It’s really weird sometimes when you’re walking through it. But I don’t have any problems with it. I’m just learning my way through it, that’s all.
The quality of the glasses at Zenni is good. I just don’t like some things about them, and it’s my own preference. I'm supposed to get the Blue Ray Blokz ‘cause I work on a computer, but I don’t like the yellow tint. What matters is that it has a nose piece because the ones without nose pieces don’t stay on your face. I’m tired of pushing them up all the time.

I have been a faithful Zenni customer for a few years now and this one time I received a pair of glasses that I have an allergic reaction to each time I attempt to wear them. When asking for a refund in either full or partial, I was told I was not able to get one because it have been longer than 30 days. I was trying for 2 months to wear them, clean them, doing everything I could to try to keep them. I was quite displeased that I was not able to get better service. Otherwise the glasses were well made structurally.

I've used Zenni to purchase my second set of prescription glasses & sunglasses for years. They have consistently provided very good service and I have had them delivered quickly. This time I ordered sunglasses though, the price had increased substantially. I realize it has been 4 years since I ordered sunglasses, but I chose the same frames, tint, coating, etc. The lens that cost $17 then, cost me $57.99 now. I'm sure there were probably other changes I'm not aware of and my script has definitely changed, but that just seemed like a big jump to me.
I didn't say all of that to complain; it's just an observation on the changing times. To get prescription sunglasses for $80 is still a good deal and I'm thankful to Zenni for providing great, affordable glasses. Most people sure can't afford them at the stores adjacent to the optometrist offices. I definitely fall into that category! I would wholeheartedly recommend Zenni to my friends and family. As a matter of fact, I suggested that my daughter create a Zenni profile and upload her pic so she could try to find a second pair of glasses that looked good on her. She did find some frames she loved and is waiting anxiously for delivery! I just wish the company would offer coupons to their customers every now and then.

I love Zenni. The frames are very affordable but still good quality, and you can decide what add-ons you want for your lenses (anti glare, anti scratch, oil/fingerprint resistant) so that you get a great pair of glasses that last a long time. I have several pairs now, and my friends also use Zenni. I have heard no complaints, and I love getting cute glasses and knowing I got a good deal.

I bought a pair of glasses from Zenni about 5 years ago. The lenses were fine, but the frames were very cheap. At the time I said "Fine - I'll just keep these as a spare set". I ordered another pair a few weeks ago, and purposely selected one of their more expensive frames - $45. But it's the same story - lenses are fine, but the frames are cheezy. Despite multiple adjustment attempts, they're still loose and uncomfortable - particularly the stems and nose pieces. I wish they would do something about this. I wouldn't mind paying $20 or $30 more for the frames if they were decent quality.

I run a program for young adults to help them get their high school diploma. A lot of them don't have insurance so something that was running rampant was that they don't have eyeglasses, or they hadn't been renewed, or they haven't had them rechecked in years. But then, it was pretty expensive to go locally to get an eye exam and glasses. We were finally able to work something out with an optometrist here where he, at a reduced rate was able to cure young people. Somebody mentioned that they ordered glasses through Zenni and that they had a great selection.
We went with Zenni and thus far, it has been wonderful for our young people when I'm ordering their glasses to get a design that they feel tailors to them. Ordering is super easy. We use different coupon codes that are available and doing so is saving on top of a product that is affordable. Thus far, we've had no issues with any of the glasses since we ordered them. Zenni has everything that people would need. We're super excited that we came across it because every nine months, we enroll new students, and Zenni is gonna be our go-to from now on.

I've been ordering from Zenni a few times a year for the last two years, and this is my 10th time ordering. I ordered two pairs of the tortoiseshell kind as they were cute, and I had a pair similar to them last year that I ended up dropping and breaking. I really liked how I looked with that one on, so I wanted to buy them again. On the website, I like how there are pictures of people who've already ordered the glasses that you can look and view what they look like on different people. It's really user-friendly, and that's why I keep ordering from them. It's a good organization and a good way to get glasses for cheap.

These glasses do not fit correctly. They refuse to give me a full refund. I did not pay 50% for these. Buyer beware!! Once you buy them you're stuck. These people are crooks as far as I am concerned. Do not buy from them.

First, we see that in May 2013 you ordered a pair of glasses in frame 586021, which has a frame width of 142 millimeters. We do not see any notes in the database record of this order indicating that you had any issue with these glasses. Your subsequent order was placed in September 2019, with frame 570312, which has a frame width of 137 mm. If the frame width a width of 142 mm fit you well, we understand that a frame that is 5 mm narrower, such as 570312, would not fit you well, and we apologize again for any dismay that this caused. When a customer contacts us to advise that there is something wrong with the glasses, and the customer confirms they entered the prescription and pupillary distance (PD) correctly, we will invite the customer to return the glasses for an inspection. If our inspection finds that we made the glasses incorrectly in any respect, we will offer to remake the glasses for free. However, we are also sorry to confirm that when a customer orders a pair of glasses that does not fit them well, or that the customer does not like, our refund options are returning the glasses for a 100 percent refund of the price of the glasses in the form of store credit to the customer’s Zenni Optical account, or a 50 percent refund to the source of payment. I contacted Zenni for a return and their reps told me to put the glasses in a box, send them back and they would put it on credit. It was what I ordered and I had every right to hear that I ordered the glasses like that. Still, the rep told me to return them and I got to order what I wanted. I had a pair of transition glasses where I didn’t feel like I could see the computer as well as I would like to. A couple of people I know ordered glasses from Zenni, so I decided to get a pair from there, and they were better for the computer. Ordering was pretty good, but I thought I’d put my prescription in one place but I didn’t complete the order that day, so when I ordered, I had to do it over again. I ordered a cheap pair of frames because I was just using them for computer purposes, but the quality is pretty good.

The website of Zenni Optical was very easy to use when I ordered the glasses for my teenager. The shipping took a a week and it was very timely. The most difficult thing was the prescription from our doctor did not include the measurement between the pupils. And so, trying to come up with that on our own was a little bit tricky. But other than that, we did fine.

I like my glasses from Zenni Optical. I like that Zenni has many selections. Their website was very easy to use. You can take a picture of yourself and then it would fit the glasses on the face to see what you're gonna look like. The cost is great and selection good. Unfortunately the frames quality is lacking. I have never had to replace frames more than more than once a year before. Several times I have had to order replacement frames because the Zenni frames broke. I would still recommend Zenni. But would order a second frame at the same time.

Overall, I am very happy with my Zenni glasses. The blue light blocking lenses have a bit more tint than I would like, and I wish I had been able to find more information on how tinted they would be prior to ordering. In the right light it can make me look kind of sickly because it makes my eyes and the surrounding skin yellowish. The frames themselves are made well. It's my first set of plastic frames, so I can't compare them to other brands.
I got the most expensive lenses they had and am very pleased with how little bottling occurs even with my medium-level prescriptions, although the anti-reflective coating is definitely not as nice as my last (very expensive) pair of lenses from my eye doctor. It annoys me that sometimes there is still a bit of a glare in pictures, when my last pair had zero glare EVER.
I was mainly confident in ordering these frames because my sister has the exact same ones, which I tried on for fit. I have a small face that is hard to fit, so I am not sure I would have ordered if I had had to rely on the picture upload thing! However, I think I now have the confidence to use their system going forward, especially since you can narrow glasses down by exact measurements! TL;DR: Not as nice as my $400+ (after insurance) glasses, but great glasses that are totally worth the price!

It has been great with them until now. My frame broke, so I order 2 replacements of the same but different colors. One of the them doesn't fit, likely because of manufacturing tolerance. I tried in vain to screw down after putting in my old lens. Wasted an hour's time, only to find out it is a micro millimeter smaller. SO DON'T EXPECT A REPLACEMENT OF THE SAME MODEL WILL FIT. Luckily the other one fits, maybe it is the same batch.
I called customer service about the problem. Wait time was short, first person answered, the call soon dropped. Second one was a lady with Indian accent, she was fine but she had to confer a supervisor many times and ask me to take to a local optical shop to trim down the lens. What? :) Then they finally & reluctantly send me a return label. And told me this is a ONE time courtesy. I said 'WHAT? If this kind of problem continues, you need to give many times courtesy!' They need to fine tune their system/process to take care of problems like this efficiently, and not telling customers this is a one time courtesy. :)

It's been wonderful with Zenni. I got another pair and I picked sunglasses several months ago. I've been using them, and they've been great. The quality is good. I ordered some metal rims from another company, and these seemed not the greatest quality. So I'm really pleased with what I got from Zenni. The rims are plastic and it feels stable.

I've been purchasing eyeglasses from Zenni for years. I've only returned a couple pairs, and only because I did not like the frames as much as I thought I would. I am so angry that this wasn’t my only glasses buying experience. These are the most inexpensive glasses I have ever bought. Which is not to say they are cheap! I have had no issues with quality. They have lasted just as long (and longer!) than many of my other pairs. Not to mention how absolutely cute they are! We've been purchasing from Zenni for three years now. It was their price that led me to buy from them. We've done a whole variety of frame styles and they were decent. The quality of eyewear for the kids have been fine while for the adults, the style we've done was kind of frail. We did the real thin metal and they broke when they got dropped on the ground. But a lot of that has to do with the style. If it was the thicker frame, it probably did not break.

The first pair scratched more easily but I got better lenses this time that haven’t scratched at all. Read the reviews on each pair of glasses though, some are more durable than others.

I ordered two pair of glasses in this order, one I liked and one I didn’t. I didn’t like them because they were very heavy and it seems the PD was off. I would have appreciated someone following up about my order, but nope, just took my money and didn’t care if I was pleased or not.

Insofar as you mention that, in addition to the relative heaviness of this pair of glasses, the pupillary distance (PD) seems off, we apologize for this, as well. Even though this order is a little outside our 30-day warranty period, we will make an exception to extend the warranty period on your behalf and invite you to return the pair of glasses that is heavier and has a problematic PD, for an inspection. We used Zenni to order a pair of back-up glasses for our third grader. I was nervous because it all seemed so easy I was SURE I was missing something. There HAD to be something I would mess up! My second pair of glasses with the above order number - very disappointed. The frame I ordered was the same from a previous order (**) but this ones were so poorly done. They did not fit right, the earpieces were misshaped and stuck out; the rubber nose pieces fell off within two weeks. It seemed to me like a bait and switch job. The lenses were fine but the frame was useless. Last purchase from Zenni.

We have a 30-day warranty period on our glasses, which starts the day they are delivered. If you contact us during this warranty period, we can send you a replacement frame for free. Nevertheless, we are going to make a customer service exception on your behalf to extend the warranty period for you to receive a free replacement frame, with some extra screws and nose pads, and a screwdriver tool you may use to replace the lenses from the defective frame into the new one. We will tell our lab to make sure that the replacement frame they send you is in perfect condition before they send it. High-Quality Lenses w/ Stylish but Cheap Frames. The subject line honestly makes my review sound like it's going to be mostly negative, but it's rather the opposite. I got two pairs of glasses from Zenni, and both of them are wonderful -- I've received multiple comments when wearing both, and the quality of their lenses has been comparable to the prescription glasses I got on brand before. My only adjustment has been the fact that these glasses are very clearly made with materials that aren't exactly the sturdiest or highest of quality, so I would recommend treating them gently, and one of the arms of my glasses is loose. I would bet many people would suggest tightening the screw, but I tried that, and went to see if Walmart's eye specialists could help, but it's not the screw that's the issue, it's the frame itself. So that one arm is floppy and doesn't hold, but while I'm wearing them it's fine. So overall, it has been a good experience.

Insofar as you do not mention which frame is problematic (we have a hunch it is 195423, the translucent browline frame), we are going to ask our lab to send you free replacement frames for each pair of your glasses, frames 195423 and 208021, the latter being the ombre black-to-translucent frame. In addition, we want to advise that we have a 30-day warranty period on our glasses. If you contact us during this time to advise that there is a problem with a frame, we can send you a new one for free.
