    By far, these were some of the best glasses I've ever gotten! Typically when I wear glasses, they don't reach behind my ears, but these actually fit. After you confirmed on May 12, 2020, that you entered the prescription correctly, on this same date we emailed you instructions to return the glasses for an inspection, as well as a prepaid mailing label to use for return postage. Unfortunately, we have no indication that the glasses were ever returned and received by us. Nevertheless, since you have now brought this matter to our attention, we are going to make a customer service exception to fully refund the amount you spent on this purchase, $44.80 (not $80.00 as you state in your review, nor $50.00, as you state in your May 6, 2020, email to us), to the credit card you used to pay for it. You should receive an email from our lab later tonight, confirming this $44.80 credit card refund with a transaction number. We hope that this courtesy refund resolves this matter to your satisfaction.

    Both pairs I ordered were just ok. They will be my backup pairs. You get what you pay for. The first pair I went with the “recommended” lenses which I didn’t realize are the transition lenses that darken when you go outside. They have a permanent yellow hue to them which makes my eyes and surrounding skin always appear tired and discolored. The frame was also too wide for my head. The second pair I ordered I made sure to get the right lenses and then get a slimmer frame. This one is now too tight for my head and the color of the frame is not what it looked like on both my computer and phone screen. Won’t order from Zenni again, will go back to Warby Parker.

We were also sorry to learn that the frame on your second order, full-rim square plastic translucent blue frame 128016, was too small to fit you well since it has a frame width of 131 millimeters. We want to advise of an infographic that can be found toward the middle of the bottom of every page of our website, How to Measure Your Frame Size (https://www.zennioptical.com/measure-eyeglass-frame-size-how-to), which provides instructions explaining how to measure each element of an eyeglasses frame you have now that fits you well and looks good on your face, so that you may shop for frames on the Zenni website that will fit you just as well. It does not have to be an exact match. You have a 2 mm leeway on each element of an eyeglasses frame, with a 3-4 mm leeway on the temple arms. We hope that this information is helpful.

    I was looking for different ways to order glasses online. When I checked Zenni Optical, I saw the great prices and so I might as well try ordering from them. The process was pretty easy. They walked me through putting the prescription in which was the part that I was most worried about. Even the pupillary distance was explained pretty easily. The quality of their glasses is great. I'm kind of addicted and I want all the colors. I have a dozen pairs by now.

    On my first order, I ordered seven pairs and one of them was a pair of prescription lens sunglasses. That was something I was looking for. Also, the whole order was less than what I paid the last time I bought glasses with my insurance. So instead of just being stuck with one color frame or one shape or whatever, I could have something that goes with my outfit or just try different shapes. I could have glasses for every mood. Everything was nice.

    I sent my frames along with my lenses to ZENNI in order for the technician to simply take the lenses received and insert them into the frames received. According to the Order Number, the order was submitted for repair on July 24, 2020. Given this simple procedure, I couldn't understand why it took 36 business days to receive my glasses. The USPS notice of receipt is attached.

    I ordered 3 pair of glasses - 2 regular and one pair of sunglasses. I put the prescription in just as it read on the paper plus scanned it just in case. I got my glasses and couldn't see anything out of them it was so blurry. I went back to the doctor and used same prescription and ordered glasses and can see just fine out of these.

    I came into buying eyeglasses online with a very skeptical view, but I ended up being extremely happy. I love the two pairs that I purchased. One pair ended up being a little too big, but I placed some adhesive backed nose pads on and problem fixed. My only critique would be is to offer more pairs with the magnetic sunshade option. The clips ons are ok, but would prefer the magnetic.

    I spent a lot more than I intended to after all the modifications I wanted and needed — and I do have some buyers remorse because the tint level I chose was based on little to no knowledge, and they don’t offer a lot of info on the site, so I would have gotten much darker ones in hindsight. One of the two pairs I got are already scratched and I haven’t done anything with them really; so that’s disappointing, apparently they take damage easily which I would hope would not be the case. But overall they work, they are my prescription, they offer calibration for my weird measurements at some extra cost even tho the frames aren’t spec'd for me. I will definitely be ordering thru them again.

    I don’t have vision insurance currently so trying to get in and get new glasses is next to impossible financially right now but when my glasses broke I knew I needed something quick. I placed my order and received my glasses pretty quickly and fell in love! Had a few issues with sizing but it was my fault so I exchanged them but my new ones came in crooked.     I have been a Zenni customer for quite a few years and I love these glasses, however my most recent purchase has left me a little bit disappointed.     I was disappointed with my order. When it said progressive I didn't realize that meant no line bifocal. I had to throw them away... I think you should state lined or no line bifocal.     Updated on 09/22/2020: I have emailed, called, reviewed, whatever I can do because of the horrible service and even worse products I've received from this company. I will never consider this issue closed until I get all of my money back. I responded back to the BBB that both were broken. That YES I did clarify to the 5 different people that hung up on me, or ignored me, or even yelled at me that both were in fact broken. I wanted all of my money refunded because you sent me two pairs of unwearable glasses but you got SO caught up on the fact that it was glasses with a sunglass attachment that you ignored even looking into the whole order or asking me directly what it was. This company steals, provides horrible products, and has the worst customer "support" (or lack thereof) and I want my money back. Even now, 4 reviews later, they are fighting because they're money hungry rather than about making the customer happy.

    I've gotten a couple of my favorite frames that I've ever had through Zenni Optical. Their selection seems to be good and the turnaround time isn't too bad. With online glasses, sometimes you have to wait and that's understandable. It's coming from overseas but I've had good results. This last time I ordered, I put in a prescription wrong. I ordered two pairs of glasses and they noticed that one was very different from the other. That could have been a catastrophe and would have been my fault, but they caught it and contacted me to make sure everything got straightened out. So I had a very good experience. The sunglasses that I got were spot on. But the last pair of glasses I had were slightly off. But I'm still getting used to the new prescription.

    I had a friend that told me about Zenni. I liked their price and got from them too. Ordering was super pretty simple. I just logged in my information and ticked out what I wanted. I got three pairs and liked everything about them. One pair I ended up getting was the blue light blocker and I liked that pair probably the most. All three were slightly a little bit different.     My mom heard about Zenni from one of her friends and she told me about it. I always get my glasses from there. I've been using them for a couple of years now and it's fantastic.     I have never written a bad review but if I could give this a minus 5 stars I would. I ordered bifocals. 1) Glasses took 3 weeks. 2) After going back to my eye doctor he confirmed the prescription was filled wrong- I sent an email as to how to rectify and never received a reply after 2 weeks. Finally, heard back and I sent a long letter explaining the problem and returning glasses also asking to be notified that they received them and let me know if they found out indeed the prescription was filled wrong. Never heard back.

    Several weeks passed, I called customer service and they had not done anything yet but said they would expedite a return shipment of glasses with the correction. Several more weeks passed and the prescription was still wrong. I emailed telling them I wanted to proceed with a refund. Never heard back. I am on hold for 30 minutes and finally they agree to a refund. This process has been 3 months start to finish. (Assuming I get a refund.) Rectifying this problem has consumed way too much energy writing emails and calling. In the meantime, I went to eye mart locally and received 2 pairs of bifocals the same day at a lower price. They fit and are the right prescription! Save yourself the headache and do not order bifocals from Zenni.

    I've purchased 6 pairs of glasses from Zenni in the past three years and only two pairs have fit properly. They have a return policy that allows you to return one pair for an exchange, but if the exchanges doesn't fit, you're stuck with them. I have since moved my business to another provider that allows you to get glasses and try them on. It takes longer to get what you want, but at least you know they will fit when you get them.

We see in a note in the database record of your order placed on October 25, 2019, that we advised of our infographic How to Measure Your Frame Size (https://www.zennioptical.com/measure-eyeglass-frame-size-how-to), which can be found toward the middle of the bottom of every page of our website, and which explains how to measure each element of an eyeglasses frame you have now that fits you well and looks good on your face, so that you may determine the dimensions you need for an eyeglasses frame you shop for on the Zenni website to fit you just as well. It does not have to be an exact match. You have a 2 millimeter leeway on each element of an eyeglasses frame, with a 3-4 mm leeway on the temple arms. The glasses from the October 25, 2019, order, full-rim round acetate toffee-colored frame with magnetic snap-on sunshades, model 502915, have a frame width of 142 mm and a lens height of 44 mm. The glasses you ordered on November 29, 2019, after returning 502915 and receiving a 100 percent refund in the form of store credit, full-rim round acetate brown frame with clip-on sunshades 502615, have a frame width of 136 mm and a lens height of 42 mm.     I purchased a pair of Zenni glasses because I heard they were really good from a friend. But as soon as I got the pair of glasses in the mail, which by the way took quite a while, I liked the design, but the bifocal lenses did not work right. And when I called the company to ask them about it, I gave them the pupillary distance and everything like that. Well, they said the only way they could take care of it was to have the glasses sent back in. So, I sent them back in. And they let me know in about 10 days that I was right, there was something wrong with the glasses. So, the woman at that point said, “Oh, the good news is you’ll get a free pair of glasses.” Well, they sent me the glasses back. They had the same problem that they had when I first got them. So, I’m convinced they just sent me back the same pair of glasses. I called again and, again, the same runaround with, “Oh, you have to send the glasses back. We can’t do anything if we don’t get them back.” So, I sent them back a second time, and told the woman that I spoke to about this supposedly free offer. And she said, “No, such a thing is impossible. We don’t have that policy.” So they don’t return glasses, they don’t give you a refund. I got two pairs of glasses with the same exact problem. The bifocal lenses just don’t work. Good luck if you order from Zenni. It was just a runaround. I’ll never buy another product from them again. They just seemed-- as I said in the title, incompetent at best and deceitful at worst. But if you decide to order from them, good luck.

The center line, therefore, is at 22 mm up from the bottom, and the top of the bifocal segment lens is placed 4 mm below this, at 18 mm up from the bottom. We hope that this information is helpful.     I liked my friend's glasses and she told me how reasonable it was. Then I checked Zenni out and I started ordering a few months ago. I have three pair of glasses and I like them. I have one that has the black frame with the gold trim at the bottom. I also have some clear ones and then I have another with an engravement on the side. I have some turquoise square frames also. They are really cute. The blue pair is like pretty blue light that would be on a mermaid. It's a real pretty blue. It's the Zenni blue like the color that the case it's coming in.

    I had a pair that I wanted them to be transition and I wanted it to be like faded violet. But a mistake was made. So the whole complete shade was covered. I ended up sending them back in to do them over. It was pretty much easy. If you've been wearing glasses, you pretty much know what the terms are. The navigation of the website is pretty smooth for the most part. I was kinda concerned if the glasses will fit my face because I have a round face. But I did the face scan so I uploaded my picture. Then it took about a week or two for the delivery. You can expect it at the range they give you on the email. But it would be better if it would be shorter. But then at the same time, you can get frames for $6 to $9 so you could be patient with the waiting period. It balanced out. I recommended Zenni to everybody I know.

    I heard Clark Howard talking about Zenni Optical on a consumer radio show. He said Zenni is where you can get good cheap glasses. Their website is okay. I managed to get through it. There are a lot of frames and it's impossible to keep up with so many selections. You just have to kinda pick one and go with it. The shipment takes about two weeks and that's pretty good since it’s coming from China. However, the glasses slide off my face. I've adjusted the nose pads several different times but no matter what I do, they slide down.

    I ordered my glasses 3 weeks ago and still have not received them. 10 days in they were "shipped" but based on the tracking information it appears that the label was printed and then nothing happened for another week. Since then they have been in shipping limbo and it hardly seems that anyone actually knows where they are. At this point I do not know when to expect them as there has never been an expected delivery date except Zenni's initial "14 to 21 days". I waited to post any of this until after that timeframe expired.

    I just received my glasses from Zenni and the placement of the bifocal portion is set too low and I have to push my head way back to see through them or lift the glasses off my nose to be able to read something. I contacted Zenni about the problem and they responded by saying they set the bifocal line 3mm below center of the lens. That is too low for me and they don’t offer any other placement. They wanted to refund me a portion of what I paid for them, which I found unacceptable. I’m now left with a pair of glasses that don’t work for me and having to order new ones from another company. If you need bifocals make sure the ones Zenni offers will work for you. If not you will be stuck with glasses you can’t use. Buyer beware.

On the March order, you selected full-rim rectangular titanium gray frame 195112, which has a frame width of 142 millimeters, a lens width of 55 mm, and a lens height of 31 mm. On the June order you selected full-rim rectangular plastic brown (with yellow and brown temple arms) frame 125815, which has a frame width of 138 mm, a lens width of 52 mm, and (this may be the contributing factor) a lens height of 37 mm. Zenni makes progressive glasses that put the top of the progressive reading corridor at 5 mm above the center line of the lens. For the pair ordered in March, a 31-mm lens height puts the top of the progressive reading corridor at 5 mm above the center line of the lens, which is 15.5 mm, so the top of the progressive reading corridor for these glasses would be at approximately 20.5 mm up from the bottom. For the pair ordered in June, the center line of a lens with a 37-mm lens height would be at 18.5 mm, and the top of the progressive reading corridor would be placed at approximately 23.5 mm up from the bottom. This difference between the placement of the two progressive reading corridors perhaps is a pertinent issue regarding your ability to see well with frame 195112, and your inability to see well with the glasses in frame 125815. Therefore, we are emailing you instructions to return the glasses in frame 125815 for an inspection, and we are also emailing you a prepaid mailing label to use for return postage. However, if you prefer that we just provide one of these refund options in lieu of an inspection, when you return the glasses please enclose a note advising that you prefer the 100 percent store credit refund or the 50 percent credit card refund, and we will be happy to issue the refund you select. However, we very much want the opportunity to inspect the glasses, so that we may determine whether the issues you are experiencing are a result of manufacturing errors or the difference in the placements of the tops of the progressive reading corridors. If it turns out that our inspection finds that we made the glasses incorrectly, you may want the remake done in frame 195112 or another frame that has very similar dimension to 195112.     The glasses were for my nine-year-old daughter and I paid over $200 for it at the eye doctor. But she broke them in about six months. So I tried Zenni and I was able to get her two different pairs for 80 bucks and they both fit her better than the ones that we got from the doctor.     The progressive lenses I ordered were for distance and computer. The computer portion of the lens started too low on the glasses to make them usable. I was told by customer service that there was no options to alter the height of the lower lens. Glasses were unusable. Will not order from Zenni again.

    My experience with your telephone associates has been very nice. While I considered recontacting your company to resolve the issue, I just haven't had the motivation to do so.... The problem as follows: I ordered progressive lenses. The lenses were not acceptable as the area of lens that allowed me to read was extremely small. Your associate offered to either refund my money or remake the lenses. I opted to have the lenses replaced and I shipped my glasses back to you. I was informed that the original lenses were indeed manufactured improperly as I subsequently, I received my glasses back with, presumably, new lenses. The 2nd shipment is perhaps worse than the 1st. Your second attempt is actually worse than the first. My assumption is that your company is using low-cost vendors and you just cannot get it done properly. Admittedly, your prices are very low.     My Zenni glasses came apart and needed a special screw evidently as I have been to 4 optical places and they do not have the screws to fix them. I wrote an email to Zenni and they said they had no provisions for repair. Buyer beware -- if your glasses break or come apart, other opticals may be unable to repair them. It takes about three weeks. Also, the quality is a little less than what some other brands might be. But they’re good for me as an adult. I asked for a tracking number on the 17th, which they supplied. It shows that the label has been printed but nothing has been received yet. So I wrote back and explained that this is just a bogus tracking number to appease me and nothing has been shipped, to which they replied: "Thank you for contacting Zenni. We are so sorry for any inconvenience caused to you. Due to recent Covid-19 pandemic, it will arrive later than usual."     I ordered some glasses from Zenni several years ago, but I haven't since then until just now. Ordering was pretty simple. The only thing is I've always had the glasses with flexible springs in the sides, and the pair that I just got don't. They're a little tight on my head. It's the same dimensions as my previous glasses, but the bows fit pretty tightly. Other than that, it got here pretty quickly. I'm satisfied.

    A friend who was rather hard up for money tried Zenni Optical and said they were good. So, we tried it and they are. The glasses are perfectly aligned. The prescription is perfect. The frame is a little shaky, but a little fragile, but they have not broken yet. I got what I paid for and they’re perfectly adequate. My wife liked the website very much. They also have a decent, prompt response. But everything is so messed up and shipping to Maui is difficult, so our order took a little longer. But that was expected.

    I ordered two pairs of glasses in May. I got headaches when I tried to wear them. Then COVID hit and I wasn't able to take them in to get the prescription checked. I finally did last week (August). The optometrist told me that one wasn't even my progressive prescription and the other was reading glasses. I now have two pairs of glasses that I can't even wear and no one will get back to me. Never again! I'm not just going to give up, I want a full refund.

    My friend back in 2013 told me about Zenni. I've been using Zenni as an eyeglass ordering place since then. It's really easy ordering as long as I have the eyeglass measurements which is handy that they provide tools online. The fact that I can upload pictures of myself and try on that way is really helpful. But maybe they can have an iPhone app or something like that will be cool. Their turnaround time was really great. It took two weeks to get my glasses and the fact that they emailed me updates made it seemed like it was much faster. That way, I was in the loop of when my glasses order was processed, manufactured and sent out.

    My cousin told me about Zenni Optical and it was a really cheap and affordable way for me to order glasses because usually when I go to a doctor, it's really super overpriced. So that was why I started to order from Zenni. The order process was super easy because all I had to do was go to the doctor and get an eye checkup to renew my prescription. Then all I had to do was upload it onto the website and then it processed everything for me. Sometimes, I do the try-on feature, especially when I'm not sure with a specific style because they have so many options and it's really helpful. The shipping's not too bad.     I've probably been ordering through Zenni around 2009 and it's usually always good. The process is pretty straightforward if you know what you're looking for. It gives you the option like plastic frames. It gives you different styles to look through. I've had a couple that are probably not the same quality as far as the frames go as what you get at an optical supply especially when I've ordered for my kids who go through glasses like crazy and even myself. But that price point is much better for me than usually the higher-end frames especially if we've already exhausted our insurance benefit.

    I have ordered three times from Zenni - I think they are the best eyeglass company on the internet. I love the "virtual try-on" feature, in which you use your computer camera to make a head-and-shoulders 3D image of yourself, which can then "try on" the different styles of eyeglasses. You can have the head turn from side to side, which makes it better than using a mirror.

    The eyeglasses can be inexpensive enough for experimentation. I needed something for spotting things in the distance. My main problem is astigmatism, but one of my eyes is mildly far-sighted. So, rather than correcting both to my normal eye, I asked my optometrist if I could get both corrected to the far-sighted eye. He was dubious, and did not really think it would work. However, because some Zenni glasses cost no more than pharmacy reading glasses, I was willing to experiment. And they work!

    My other glasses have the more advanced lenses and coatings, which I HIGHLY recommend for daily-wear. My everyday glasses are both photosensitive and have the "Blokz" coating, which protects against blue computer light. Definitely worth it; my eyes do not get that fried feeling after long computer usage. Finally, Zenni's huge selection of frames will satisfy just about any aesthetic. Highly recommend.

    I had tried warbyparker.com, and they mail them to you once you try them on, but they were still a lot more expensive. Price was my motivating thing. I saw Zenni first and I wanted to try it and see how it would work. I was able to use the try-on feature. Once I got my measurements from my eye doctor, I used that as a reference because glasses are kinda funny on me. The only thing I didn't like about it was the fact that I was unsure of how they were gonna look until they came. But I like the glasses fine, so it worked out well. As far as the quality of the item, they've been wonderful glasses. I've only had them for a short time, but compared to the last pair I had, they are wonderful.

    My son's girlfriend told me about Zenni. It took a couple of weeks for me to get my glasses. I didn't know what to expect or how long it was gonna take, and I don't know where they're shipping from, but with COVID going on, it was nothing that I wasn't expecting. The only thing is where the bows are at. I was expecting the bows to be flat and these are actually just one wire spring. It's kinda like stainless steel.     As you should be, I was skeptical of ordering glasses online, especially for a prescription as crazy as my husbands is. Well, I am skeptical no more. I ordered them online, inexpensive frames, progressive bifocal lenses, Photochromic lenses, they arrived within two weeks and I paid only $83.00 in total. They are much better quality than the ones I got at my local optometrist, were less expensive and came three weeks sooner than the ones I ordered locally.     My little one has had to get glasses so I needed some that were cheap in case we happen to lose or break the others. I wanted to have some backup. Through Zenni, I got sunglasses and another item, and it was fine. The Virtual Try-On was nice. I was pleased with what we had bought so it was pretty true to the way that it looked online. If you don't truly love it, you can still wear them around the house with the styles if they didn’t look right. I figured that would be a win-win for us. The only thing that I had an issue with was his prescription was too high so I had to go order those from my eye doctor. But that has nothing to do with the online glasses.     It took 2 weeks to complete the order. I requested the new customer discount and they denied this because I was military. Once I received the glasses, they were made of the lightest, cheapest material I could imagine. And when I put them on, I could not see a thing. The prescription they used was not the one I sent to them. I went to COSTCO and found some outstanding glasses, best I have ever had. They were $100, but YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I asked for a full refund and they said no. They only give 50% refunds and only after they get the glasses back. I tried to review at Yelp and Google but this is not allowed. They are using a commercial agency they can control. Let's see if this shows up as the only other one star review on this site after 700 reviews. Go figure.

    I tell everyone to order their glasses from Zenni. Their prices are extremely affordable. Purchasing is extremely easy, especially with the Try-On at home feature where you could just take a photo of your face and you can try-on whichever glasses to see what they would actually look like on you. I get my order in two weeks at the max and I'm extremely satisfied with that.     Finding the frames and styles that I'm looking for is super easy at Zenni. I have a teenage son and he really loved the trial feature. It measures his face and everything.     I've used Zenni Optical quite a few times for both my son and daughter's glasses. It started with my daughter. She was terrible with glasses. We would go to a place and get glasses, and then they would either get broken or whatever. I was like, “Oh, look, I can order your glasses on here. And some of them are only 10, 15 bucks. And I can order you three or four pairs.” And then if something happens, I'm not out a ton of money. You can change them up. It's so much better than glasses. I'm really happy with it. I've had better pairs of glasses from Zenni. I have went to a place and the insurance covers so much and whatever. I've been happy with all of them.

    Turnaround time is fairly decent as far as getting your glasses. With my daughter's glasses, they all went really well. But my son's last pair of glasses wasn't Zenni’s fault. They were just too big for his face. He's in the preteen age so I might have overestimated the size that they needed to be. The prescription on his glasses is super strong. Maybe I'll just get the next pair in a shop where he can actually try them on. But I've done it three or four times and it just turned out that one was just a mess. I had a couple of hits and then one miss. It’s in the middle of the quarantine crap, so all of the eye places are shut down. I said, “Well, I better hurry up and order your pair before they say your script’s no longer good.” I ordered them, but I needed to go and actually have some fitted for his face. He just doesn't like them.

    Sometimes, it's a bit complicated if you have multiple scripts. I manage scripts for our entire family on there. Even my mom is on there. We’ve ordered her glasses before, too. So when you go to the website add it in, sometimes it's a bit confusing. But the only problem is sometimes, say you have a certain script and you want to get a certain pair of glasses and you get halfway through it, then the glasses are not the right size for that script, then you have to go back and start over. I have another recommendation: More motorcycle glasses for people that wear sunglasses. My husband and I ride a lot and the that Zenni only has is the goggles. They make sunglasses that have the padding on the inside that look like normal sunglasses, but they're for motorcycle use. Zenni needs those.

    Zenni is affordable and I also got to input my own prescription instead of going through a doctor. They have cute styles. I've ordered from them three or four times.     A friend told me that Zenni was very affordable so I ordered from them. I liked how I could try on the glasses online. The glasses I ordered are full rim with a plastic frame. It's a good deal. But I was excited about the fact that they were cheap glasses but then, I needed to pay extra for this and that. There were things that I didn't know were gonna be upgrades, like the anti-glare.     The selection of frames was great and the ability to virtually try on was easy. Everything was easy about the purchase process. Make sure to get your “pupil distance” (PD) from the optometrist. This can be done at home, but easier if they will tell you.

    The customer service agents are helpful, but the return process is a nightmare. You can either have 50% refund or a store credit. However when you finally order products to use credit, it does not. My card was charged again. I called customer service a minimum of 4 times to straighten the nightmare out.

    I used Zenni Optical after being told about it by a co-worker, a fellow faculty member at my University. He was always misplacing, losing it just destroying his glasses. His solution was to buy multiple pairs of glasses from Zenni. I needed s pair of reading glasses to go with my bifocals that I get from the Veterans Administration. I was amazed with the price and selection of basic frames. I've had my Zenni Optical reading glasses for a year now and they're better than more expensive ones.     I've ordered many pairs of glasses from Zenni and other online glasses retailers in recent years. As a point of comparison Zenni's selection is somewhat less interesting than what other sellers offer, but I tend to prefer the more stylish and unique pairs. The quality of the frames and lenses is good as I have never had a pair break or scratch with normal use. Cost is very reasonable compared to what you would pay at any brick and mortar store, and the time it takes them to manufacture and ship the glasses probably only seems long because I'm always so excited to wear my new glasses!

    I found the frames a very good quality. However the prescription could have been better. I had to take the glasses to another store to have them replaced and the frames adjusted. The frames were a bit larger than I liked but they were the only online store that had the small wire frames I liked. I don't like the big cheap looking plastic frames everyone is wearing these. I choose to be different.

    The process of ordering from Zenni was pretty easy and I got the glasses in the mail quicker compared to when they said it would be, so I was really happy about that. I got full-rim glasses and they are translucent. I needed some less expensive glasses that I don't have to worry about if it broke or not and for the price that they are, they're great quality.

    I am a woman in her late 40's and have worn glasses since I was 7. Up until I found Zenni I would pay over $300.00 every time I would need new glasses and not a lot of choices.     My glasses had a filament break in less than 4 months and customer service stated they would ship a replacement but after over a week no-one in customer service could provide a tracking number. I asked to purchase the filament and was told I had to buy new frames.

    A co-worker of mine passed Zenni along to me and it was easy ordering from them. Ordering online, you just never know how the glasses are gonna fit or if you don’t like them. If I was gonna order something online, I need to stick to something that was closer to what I'm familiar with rather than ordering something that is not totally new but different than my style. So, other than the uncertainty of it, it was a lot of measuring my existing glasses and comparing them to what was online.

    I just ordered them and I got them the week of June 22nd. Less than two weeks when I placed the order, I got the confirmation as to when my glasses would arrive.     I have been ordering from Zenni for some time now. Having 6 people in the family wearing glasses it quite costly. I have ordered fun glasses and proper glasses. There is a choice of frame sturdiness with the cost. There are many tiers of lens levels depending on what you can afford. Depending on the dollar strength at the time of ordering (It’s all US prices) you can get several pairs for about $150 Canadian with shipping. It’s $10 US for shipping for the order. When my children were young I could get them nice eye wear for $15, Canadian, a pair. So you can afford the extra pair and prescription sunglasses for about $50 per child.

    My daughter is in college and she used Zenni once before. She told me she swore by them so, I tried them. Ordering went well and if I had remembered to put my payment right, I would have gotten it earlier than usual. But there was one step I seem to have missed. I kept waiting and finally, I called. They told me to go back in and check because they didn't see an order. When I did, it was a discrepancy with the address. It went smoothly after that.

    I went through the steps again, submitted my order and within two weeks, I had it. The mess up was mine and not theirs so it's all good. I appreciated their time and their patience with me while we were trying to navigate everything. I got a full rim bifocal and I received it about two weeks ago. It’s good but I noticed that one of the arms was a bit looser than the other. So, I had to tighten that one on the left side. I just used one of my screwdrivers and it's much better now. I love the quality and it's durable. I'm satisfied with Zenni.

    ZenNi is a marvelous product for the price. I had a Dr office write the incorrect prescription on my paper copy. Zenni fixed it for free.     I started ordering from Zenni since March of last year and it was simple. I chose the glasses that I wanted and put my prescription. I used the try-on feature and put a picture of myself. I also took the dimensions of other glasses that I had in the past and compared with the dimensions given by the website. I saw what I could fit better since I considered that I have a large face. I just picked all the largest ones that I found. I paid for it and received it within two weeks. I've returned glasses in the past and I have 60 days to do it. Other optical websites are terrible. It was always a problem for them to answer me and it was limited. The window to return it was 15 days after they got it but then, the shipment was delayed. So, my 15 days were not 15 days but one week. So, I like that Zenni gives a big window to return and the process is better than others.

    The first time I returned glasses, my optometrist gave me the wrong prescription and it was not Zenni’s fault. When I got the glasses, I didn't see anything and I went back to my optometrist. He realized that he was wrong so I had to return them and the process was straightforward and easy. Zenni gave me a gift card that I can spend only in the website. Right now, I have to return ones that didn’t fit my mom.

    I first found Zenni about 6-8 years ago (right after considering taking out a 2nd mortgage for the price of glasses from the optometrist). Seriously, my wife got a pair of bifocals with nice flexible rims (not designer) with NO additional coatings and getting a bill for ~$800. I needed a new pair of glasses too, but it just wasn't in the budget so I started searching for other places. To my great surprise I stumbled on to Zenni. I ordered my trifocals with flexible titanium frames, photochromatic and (their version of) Crizal (sp) coatings along with sunglass add-on (for inside the car) for ~$100. I really liked the fact that I could upload a photo and "try on" various frames. Highly recommend!

    Great selection of both frames and lens types - can get high quality for about 1/5 of retail, with known lens types. Preview the look by uploading your photo. You need to know your prescription and measure distance between pupils (they tell you how). Good customer service. If it doesn't work out the first time, then 50% off if you return them again. It takes about two weeks from ordering to receiving the glasses. I've had more people say they love my glasses that I bought from Zenni than ever before - not even close!

    I love the ease of virtually trying on the frames. I ordered a pair of progressive lens tinted lenses with matching clip on sunglasses about a year and a half ago, using the prescription from my ophthalmologist. The glasses are still perfect. They were so reasonable in price that about 6 months ago, I ordered another pair. I would not shop anywhere else for glasses.

    Zenni gave me what I wanted: inexpensive, approachable, everyday durable, non-emergency situation eyeglasses and frames. The glasses are plastic scratch resistant lenses. The frames are standard black aluminum. They fit comfortably. You put in your prescription and head measurements. The website is easy to navigate but it's a firehose of options. I just started shopping based on face shape. It is segregated by gender. I got my frames and glasses within a week. I have had them three weeks and am happy so far.

    I have always had a difficult time purchasing glasses because my prescription is so strong: -6.50 to -7.00. I always had to have thick, humongous frames to hold my giant lenses, or I had to pay hundreds of dollars to slim down the lenses to fit the frames. Even then there was no guarantee that the lenses would fit inside the frames. I saw that I could have this process done through Zenni.com for 30.00 plus the cost of the frames. I had nothing to lose. Plus, they had so many frame styles and shapes to choose from. I ordered a pair. The frames were only 6.95. With shipping included, I paid just under 50.00. They arrived in two weeks and were perfect. They fit and looked amazing! I will buy all of my future glasses from Zenni.com, unless they get too big and raise prices like many companies do. I would recommend to everyone.

    I have ordered 4 pairs of glasses through Zenni and all have been excellently done to my specifications. The last pair of reading glasses that I ordered, I made a typing mistake on the prescription which reversed the eyes. When I called Customer service on what could be done, they had me send the glasses back to them and gave me a full refund minus the shipping charges as a "store credit" even though it was my mistake. I had ordered some special coating on the lenses so they weren't the cheapest ones. When I reordered with the corrected prescription, the glasses I received were perfect and I am extremely pleased with them.
