    I ordered glasses from Zenni Optical and I had a little bit of a tough time at first with the way you have to move your head and stuff to make the picture on their website. But then, I figured it out. Also, one pair of glasses I got shouldn't be as thin as they showed. They were a little bit more thin than I was thinking. It kind of makes them a tad bit flimsy. Other than that, they were pretty accurate like the glasses that I do have. I love them. They came faster than what I thought they were going to come.

    I was skeptical. I've been wearing glasses for 40 years. I could never find a pair of glasses that looks good on me. So I wear contacts most of the time. After months of looking on the Zenni site, with numerous pictures of me, I finally narrowed it down to 1 pair of glasses. It was my first time getting bifocals. I wasn't sure that they would get it right the first time. I always have to go back to the optical shop here for them to redo my glasses. When I received these from Zenni, they were perfect!!     This was the second time that I ordered from Zenni. The first time I ordered two frames only and returned one. As I remember the returned went fine. This time I returned and only received a refund of $11.68 on a $28.30 purchase. I will not be using your company again. There is a new company that allows you to try 5 frames at no charge. You advise that this is the second order you placed with Zenni, but a review of your account shows that the other order you placed, on July 9, 2016, was for one pair of progressive glasses, not two orders for frames-only, and there are no notes in the database record of this order indicating that you had any issue with these glasses nor that they were returned. Your most recent order, placed on January 25, 2021, was for one pair of nonprescription glasses in full-rim, square, acetate, blue frame 449416. The notes in the database record of this order indicate that you did not like the look of this frame, so you returned the glasses to us for one of the two refund options we offer – a 50 percent refund of the price of the glasses to the credit card you used to pay for them. We were also sorry to see that you chose this refund option rather than a 100 percent refund of the price of the glasses in the form of store credit to your Zenni account, which you could have used toward the payment of another pair of glasses in a frame you would prefer. We would like to clarify that these glasses cost $25.95, and to represent the 10 percent discount we were also sorry to learn you were not able to use the promo code to receive, we refunded this amount, $2.60, to your credit card on January 26, 2021, which is 10 percent of $25.90, rounded up.     I ordered a pair of reading glasses with variegated coloring (black, gray and clear patches). The glasses I received were almost entirely black, with a few clear patches and no gray patches. They did not even come close to matching what was pictured on the site. I contacted Zenni customer support, who told me that because they are variegated in color, the color was not fixed and could not be guaranteed. They told me that even though the product was defective (i.e., did not match what was pictured on the site) my only options were to pay shipping and return it for a 100% store credit or for a 50% refund. If I used the store credit and re-ordered the same pair, and it was also defective, I could not return it for 100% credit and try again, my only option the second time around was the 50% refund. So, they ship a defective product and I can only get half my money back?

Moreover, although we did not clarify this in the exchange you had with our customer service representative, we want to confirm that you will not have to pay to return the glasses to us, if you choose to return them for one of the refund options of which we advised. When a customer in the U.S. wants to return eyeglasses, we email them a prepaid mailing label to use for return postage. We very much understand your complaint, since you were expecting the frame to match the website picture. Nevertheless, we also want to confirm that the tortoiseshell patterns can vary from how the frame is depicted on the website. The picture you provided of the frame as you received it shows that there are fewer instances of gray on the frame than are shown on the frame on our website picture. Nevertheless, we want to advise that, insofar as this order is within its 30-day warranty period, which starts the day the glasses are delivered, during this warranty period we can send a customer a free replacement frame if they have an issue with the frame they received.     My son is near legally blind and MUST wear his glasses to see anything. After two weeks to get the glasses they broke within a week or two. Zenni advertises that they will replace them...problem with that is they don't tell you, you have to send them back. So a month before my child can see again. I won't EVER use this company again.

    The glasses arrived later than usual. (Covid 19). The glasses fell apart the very next day. When I ordered the eye glasses from Zenni I had no idea that the glasses were made in China. I will never order eyeglasses from out of the country again. I wasted $250 for glasses that were useless. Never again.

    The cost of Zenni's products has always been good. Plus, I like having the ability to see the glasses on a picture first. Sometimes, I get a little confused with all the options and the site doesn't always explain everything. There are different polarizations and it's a little overwhelming. Other than that, I've been very happy with the glasses I've gotten. Eventually, after a couple of years, the scratches on the lens will finally get bad. Still, they last a long time.

    My experience with the customer service of Zenni was very nice. The online ordering process was also very easy. If I'm not sure of something, I can really take my time and really look around at so many different glasses instead of being stuck in a store with only a limited supply and have a certain time frame to get my glasses. I like to take my time and have more options. There are so many options with Zenni. I have some of the cat-eye glasses and I've got four pairs. So, that way, I have variety. I also have a round pair.     We have four boys and two of them wear glasses. The first time I ordered from Zenni was my then five-year-old lost a pair of glasses and I couldn't afford another $200 pair of glasses. I found it was so quick to use the Zenni website. I was able to pop in his prescription, order the glasses and pay a fee. We had them in three or five days so that was wonderful. Recently, my husband needed glasses. He is a utility worker so we need several pairs. We needed sunglasses, work glasses and home glasses. I thought the only way that we could afford that was to order them online. I went to find my account information and ordered some glasses from Zenni. It was so quick and efficient. There were a few questions and I could read what it was telling me it wanted from me but if I could watch a video, it would have explained it a little bit easier. I would have been able to find that information more quickly on the prescription.

    The quality is spectacular and the cost is so affordable. We got four pairs of glasses and it was $230 or $250. That was exceptional. The glasses I ordered for myself are super cute and I've had so many compliments. If I'd had Zenni business cards, I would have handed them business cards. But instead, I texted them a screenshot of where I ordered them from.

    Years ago, my daughter was the first person in our family that needs glasses. She was little and she was breaking the expensive ones. It's a really long time from the ordering to receiving them, especially if the prescription is in any way unique. But other than that, the ordering process is really simple.     Ever since I needed glasses, I've been ordering through Zenni. At first, there was a little bit of difficulty but now, I just push the button, reorder and it comes right away. I've used the try-on feature and it's accurate. For the money I pay, the glasses are worth it. If I were to buy a pair of glasses at the hospital here and Billingham, it would be 400 or 500 bucks compared to the 60, 70, or 80 bucks I spend at Zenni.

    I needed a pair of glasses quickly and I was looking for something under approximately 50 bucks. I checked online, then I checked Zenni's website, and I was able to find a pair that was around $47. I selected the frame and the type of lens I needed. The only problem was that with the anti-reflective or the blue light type of lens, there were different numbers. I wasn't sure what each of them represented and that was a bit confusing. But besides that, it was pretty straightforward. It came in a week and a half so I was happy with that. Whenever I opened it up, I was quite surprised because they were decent, nice, and sturdy frames. They weren't flimsy or fragile. It's been almost two weeks on the time, and they're doing fine for now. Let’s see how they last in the next few months.

    The ordering process was super easy. The difficulty was trying to figure out how to put my prescription in because I'm not familiar with what the prescription means except for the negative and the plus. There was another couple letters between the plus or minus that I didn't really understand what they were. So I had to reach out to customer service, and they helped me. It was easy-peasy once they explained it. I did the virtual try-on where I just put a picture of my face and that was really easy. It was really cool to see how they would actually look on my face before purchasing. So I was very happy with them. The glasses that came were wonderful, and I’ve had no issues with them. We were sorry to learn that your eye doctor wrote out your prescription the way it would be understood by an optician, although when you are ordering glasses online, you in some respects become your own optician, insofar as you must read the prescription and enter the prescription and pupillary distance (PD) values correctly on our website. Therefore, we apologize for any confusion you experienced regarding the letters on the prescription. Insofar as you did not upload your prescription to the database record of your order, we do not see what the eye doctor wrote in the field for the left eye (OS) Cylinder and Axis, but we do see that you entered zeroes in these fields, as our representative presumably advised. Therefore, we want to assume that the eye doctor may have written DS in the OS Cylinder field, since DS stands for diopter simplex, which is one of the ways eye doctors indicate that there is no astigmatism in the eye, and that therefore, no astigmatism correction is needed. (The Cylinder and Axis combine to correct an astigmatism. If there is no Cylinder correction, there will be no Axis correction.) The other notation an eye doctor puts in the Cylinder field when no astigmatism correction is needed is SPH, which indicates that the cornea is spherical, since an aspheric cornea is the most common cause of an astigmatism. However, when customers who plan to order their glasses online see this SPH notation, they can become confused, since of course the correction for nearsightedness or farsightedness goes in the Sphere category of the prescription. Unfortunately, some customers have misinterpreted SPH in the Cylinder field as a direction to put the correction in the Sphere section of a prescription in the Cylinder field, too, and this has resulted in glasses with which the customer cannot see.     I saw that Zenni was legit and then I ordered from them. It's been really great. This last time, I ordered three whole pairs because for the same price it's going. It was still cheaper than one regular pair. Then it usually comes in before they say it's going to, so if it's the standard shipping, it'll come in three days earlier, so it's pretty nice in that regard. If it was an emergency and you needed to get glasses quick, you wouldn't be waiting for too very long. The quality is amazing. I tell all my friends about it 'cause why pay $200 for prescription glasses when they can get them for a reasonable price?     I've been using Zenni for a while now. They have cool frames for the price but I'm not an eye doctor and sometimes I'm confused. If my doctor writes my prescription, and I just want readers, I have to minus or add. I have to do it and every time, I have go back or call. I could get someone on the line but I’ve had people that didn’t know what they were talking about. Showing you a breakdown on how you would take your prescription and make it into reader glasses should be somewhere on there. Zenni also has too many questions and I get tired of going through it. They could simplify that. I'm just looking for readers and I don't want all the extra stuff. There should be a basic option, and then if the customer wants other stuff, then they click on another. On the other hand, the times that I ordered regular glasses with my prescription was fine because then I added some of the extra stuff.

    I love my glasses. I get compliments from the last pair I ordered from Zenni and I’ve been referring a lot of people to them too. Usually, I pay $400 for my prescription and I wanted to find a cheaper alternative. I was looking to see if I can order sunglasses online and a few retailers popped up. After I put in my prescription, I still ended up with $300 prescription glasses, even though the frames were $12 or $15. I then stumbled across Zenni and I put a lot of their frames in my cart.     I like the prices of Zenni. They were a little bit cheaper than other companies. Their online try-on is not very accurate though. It would be nice if they offered some type of frames to try on, a minimal amount of shipping, and then be able to pick from those. I ended up having to order four frames that I liked. I paid for each of the frames and the shipping, and then they gave me the credit back on the frame. But had I not chosen any of them, I would have been stuck with credit, and then would have had to order more frames.

    The one pair of glasses I've ordered from Zenni Optical is my favorite pair of glasses I've ever had. I love the color and the shape and the quality is really good. They arrived a day late but that was due to the post office, not on them. Ordering them was really easy 'cause there was a Frequently Asked Questions thing on there. I like that you can save your prescription so you can just import the prescription and order any kind of glasses with that. I also like all the options they have for doing changes to the glasses like the transitions or the fingerprint smudging protective coating. The Try On feature was pretty simple to figure out and it was very accurate.

    I love that Zenni has affordable glasses. Even with our insurance, I still can't afford glasses at my eye doctor. I have young kids at home and my glasses are constantly getting knocked off my face. I have yet to break a pair. But even if I did, I wouldn't have hundreds of dollars invested into them. For the quality and the price of Zenni, they can't be beaten. Their website is great too. It's very easy to use.     My boyfriend purchased 2 pairs of Zennis for me last year. I went to my eye doctor yesterday for my annual checkup. My eyes have been crossing when I switch from the Zenni glasses to my contacts. I found this to be very odd. My eye doctor checked the Zennis and found that the right eye lens was 3 steps higher and the left lens was 1 step lower than prescribed! I was shocked at how off my glasses are. My eye doctor said the incorrect prescription is likely the cause of my eyes crossing when using my contacts due to the extra strain when wearing the glasses. Prior to knowing about the prescription difference I noticed that the quality of materials is substandard compared with traditional stores and labs. If Covid had not gotten in the way I would have sent these glasses for a full refund. He purchased 2 pairs for me and I am angry that so much money was wasted.

    I had ordered from Zenni before without any problem, until I order progressives. The reading portion of the glasses was useless--could not get anything in focus. I tried them for several weeks with no luck. I then tried my old glasses, with a different prescription, and did not have any trouble getting text in focus. In addition, everything I looked at through the reading portion was warped. Sent them back and Zenni said the prescription was right, so not their fault. I got 50 percent of my money back, but that's small consolation, especially considering I was without glasses for a while after I sent them back. I have worn progressives for more than 10 years and never had this problem before. Will go to another online company I used before, which did my last progressives with no issue. Yes, they're more expensive than Zenni, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Consequently, we apologize for any dissatisfaction you experienced as a result. We regret that you could not see well through the reading portion toward the bottom of the lens, although our inspection found that the glasses were made correctly. Therefore, we would like to provide some information that we hope may provide some clarification of the issue. We use a style of progressive lenses called free form, which has a relatively narrow progressive reading corridor, approximately 12-14 millimeters wide, with no vision correction on either side of this progressive corridor. We advise customers to point their nose at what they are reading on their computer screen or in a book, magazine, or other document, rather than move their eyes from side to side. Moreover, the top of the progressive reading corridor is placed at 5 mm above the center line of the lens, with approximately 5-7 mm of intermediate (computer) vision starting at this point, with approximately 5-7 mm of near (reading) vision below that. The frame you selected, full-rim, rectangular, flexible-plastic, spring-hinged, black frame 2012421, has a lens height of 33 mm. This puts the top of the progressive reading corridor at approximately 21.5 mm up from the bottom, with the top of the reading section at approximately 5-7 mm below this. When customers have reported problems using the reading section of the progressive reading corridor, and they have selected lenses with lens heights of 30-34 mm, we have found that selecting another pair of glasses with a taller lens, perhaps one 35-40 mm high, will put the reading section of the progressive reading corridor higher on the lens, where the customer can more effectively use it. We are sorry that this pair of glasses did not work out for you, but it is good to know that you were satisfied with the single-vision polarized sunglasses you ordered on September 1, 2020, and the progressive glasses you ordered on November 22, 2016. These progressive glasses were in full-rim, rectangular, acetate, spring-hinged black frame 612921, which has a lens height of 35 mm. Perhaps the taller lens in these glasses placed the near-vision section of the progressive reading corridor where you could use it effectively.     I love Zenni and I'm always advertising them. They’re such a good price and you don't have to wait that long to get the glasses.     I’ve been pleased with all 5 pair of glasses I’ve ordered. I learned a lot about comparing the size of my favorite frames; I debated to just reorder them this time but decided on change. I’m only a little disappointed, this pair doesn’t have as much pizazz as my favorite pair, but that’s not a knock just fact. This pair needs adjusted to fit tighter on my head; I do find eye centers don’t want to help whereas I’ve never had that issue in all my years of wearing glasses. It’s almost like they’ve been told not to service Zenni frames. I also find it difficult to get an accurate PD-Periferal Distance. I specifically asked my eye doctor, they would only give me a single number.

    I ordered glasses and sunglasses. I like both frames, the sunglasses a little better, nice weight. I opted for Standard Lens 80% Sunglasses. I do sense extreme glare with direct sun, but I’m not sure my last Polaroid lens would have been much different. I am generally pleased with my order; I like all of the frames offered by Zenni at reasonable prices and I enjoyed a great sale price for these 2 pair of Progressive lenses for $210! Great price!!

    I've been using Zenni for years. My son and I both get our glasses through them. We've done a little bit of everything and it just depends on what they've got at the time, what looks cute and what sounds like fun. Ordering them online is so easy.     I loved the Zenni glasses that a friend of mine, Laurie, had. She also placed an order for me and helped me do the fitting. I went directly to the one she had and those were the ones that I ended up buying. I didn't try on very many. I love my glasses but my prescription isn't quite there and I have to really strain with my glasses on to read. I wish I had a little bit clearer vision with them. Sometimes I push them all the way up to my eyes, then they work better. But at a normal place on my bridge, not so much. Despite that, I would recommend Zenni's choice in frames and their process was easy.

We always get our eye exam done and have them measure our pupillary distance, so it's accurate. So that when we order, the glasses will fit the best they can.     I like Zenni Optical's price and the shipping. A lot of different places need an actual street address and we have a post office with post office boxes, and that's kind of hard to find for companies that don't use FedEx or ground shipping. I made an order under a guest account. So I have three glasses and two of them ordered under my now new account. My first frames were full and then the remainder were half. I really liked the style, and putting them on with the black frames, half rims are pretty preferable.

    The saving of your prescription is a whole lot of data entry, and the convenience of having my prescription saved is pretty nice. I've never really tried other companies or sites but that's something I really enjoy. I log in and all my stuff is saved right then and there. So then I just pick my style and frames, and I expect my glasses in about a week. My experience with Zenni has been very consistent.     I have dealt with Zenni in the past with no issues. But this time their delivery has been exceptionally slow. I was advised that it would take 14-21 days for the order. While this seems long, I was willing to wait and figured 2-3 weeks would not be an issue. At the current time, it is 25 days and counting, with no order and no assistance from Zenni. When I contacted them regarding my order, I was advised they were showing the order was on the way and gave me the information regarding how to contact the shipping company regarding order details. Since the order was so late, I made the incorrect assumption they would assist me in finding my order, but it appears that once they had my money I was on my own. I will take this into consideration when deciding where to make my next purchase.

    My order is being delayed. I ordered on 12-04, glasses were made on 12-16 and were to be delivered by 12-25. Now, it is moved to 12-26. I will not be where they were originally requested to be delivered after 12-25. I notified Zenni with their online chat CSR who took the request but told me it would be up to 48 hours -yes, up to 48 hours for me to receive an e-mail confirmation of this request. I find this hard to believe and unacceptable. It should be automatic with and automatic e-mail confirmation to me. At this point, I will be surprised if I receive these glasses based upon this short of CSR expectations received.

    The glasses I picked have double hinges on them, that's a plus especially if the screws have come off, I had that happen once, luckily I was at home, I used one of the same pair of glasses screw, so it was an easy fix.     Absolutely no problems. Glasses arrived sooner than expected and in excellent condition. I just needed 2 basic pairs of glasses for TV watching. No extras and I spent $31 all in for 2 pairs and that included shipping. The issues I ran into were all surrounding using the website. If you decide to go there do not, I repeat do not sign up with phone number. I did this and went through my entire order including putting RX information in only to find out that unless I have an email and password I can't order. So I try to create an account with a password....and I can't because my email was put in with the phone number when I first was browsing.

    So I lose everything and have to go through the entire process again by submitting I forgot my password. Now I'm smacking my forehead in disbelief what I was having to go through to place the order. Oh no that it not the end...I do it all over again, get everything in and the discount code I had kept giving me an error. It kept saying it wasn't valid yet. Ridiculous. So I contact chat customer service who says...."Just wait a little while." It's now 3 hours after the coupon should have applied and I've been trying to complete an order for at least 3 hours. So frustrating. I did wait and finally on the 4th try to enter, everything it went through. Great way to get glasses if you have lots of extra time and energy. But for this awful website and customer service experience I would have given 5 stars.

    The sunglasses I got for $1 from a $1 online shop are better quality than these glasses. The lens is distorted in both sides - a hallmark of terrible lens quality. What makes that even worse is that these glasses have no power, they are only to correct my astigmatism as toric lenses in my power are not available. The frames are so thin and cheap I'm afraid I'm going to break them with just normal use. While I didn't expect anything high quality, I expected to be able to use them... the lens quality is so poor that it drives me nuts just to have them on.

    I have, off and on, been purchasing from Zenni for years when I didn't have vision insurance. We recently ordered six pairs. Monday was supposed to have been our last day to receive them with the expected delivery date. We keep checking the tracking number, and it's somewhere within the US mail. But my daughters have loved them. They were in theater. And if we knew ahead of time the kind of glasses for their play that they needed, I would just order a $6 pair of glasses, and they would be able to see on stage with their costume glasses.

    I've ordered a few times with Zenni Optical. The frame qualities aren't probably quite as good as I’d get if I spend a bunch of money at a local optical shop, but that's okay because the value offsets that. I either wear contacts or wear glasses, so I need them to see properly distance. I got the bifocal type or progressive too, so I could read with it as well, and even the tinted lenses ‘cause I wear them outside a lot. The only thing that I've experienced difficulty with was I ordered a pair of frames only ‘cause I broke those, and I still have the lenses. It took me a while to figure out how to order it because I was trying to do it on either a phone or an iPad and I couldn't see it. But on the computer, I could. Other than that, it was pretty seamless. If you're looking for a great value in eyewear, then you ought to shop with Zenni. I'm a big fan.

    My husband bought some glasses through Zenni before and some of our family has too. So we’ve been aware of them for quite a while. Other than taking the time to try and decide, the rest of the ordering process was easy. I bought glasses for driving and I’ve had them for probably a week. They’re good and I like them. I was pleased with the glasses. Zenni is the company to go with. I looked somewhere else and decided that for what I needed them for, I wasn't gonna pay $200 for a pair of glasses.
