I do like the immediate feedback when I request help over the chat. Guides are helpful and provide additional resources. Hard to keep up with good choices during travel. Currently the food log button isn’t working and I’m unable to log food.

I was really ready to change my eating habits as I have a big birthday this year. Noom has helped support me with daily encouragement. I’m now the lightest I’ve been for 20 years and more importantly feel I have made permanent changes to move away from a poor relationship with food.

Your ads and testimonials eluded to having a personal coach that knows specifics about me so we can tailor my journey for the most benefits. I think it odd that I have to seek out guidance from the “Coaching Team.” I’m appreciative of the daily lessons and have learned a lot from them. I find myself frustrated trying to analyze the food logging data and look for trends that lead to any kind of weight loss. Some of the suggested foods upend the calorie budget right from the start. And the presumption within the lessons is that I’ve lost weight and hit a plateau. I haven’t lost and have, in fact, experienced days where I’ve gained weight. I expected at least a few pounds of weight loss with a month of mindful eating and education.
Now I believe the next set of lessons will be on exercise and I haven’t gotten a handle on the food or had any input from a coach about where I can improve hitting my calorie budget. Not only do I have to motivate myself to decipher what to feed my body and find the balance of the calorie budget, but I have to motivate myself to find the right questions to ask coaches and wait for the reply. Your advertising leads people to believe the assistance given by Noom is more personal. That is not my experience.

Love the Noom lessons, app and circles. I keep reading about coaches, but I have not been assigned one yet. The Noom guides are responsive within 24-48 hours and have been helpful in answering questions and resolving issues. So far Noom has helped me lose a few pounds and I am enjoying the process.

I appreciate the daily accountability and recipes. I enjoy having the option to reach out to a coach group anytime and if I don’t meet my goal at the end of my six months trial I will probably add on the full Coaching option. I like that they reach out to review my activity and analyze my food log. I have lost a few pounds and as I adjust to the clean eating standards, I think results will be quicker. My partner seems to be picking up some of the standards, which is great because appeasing his food expectations without indulging is my biggest challenge.

This has been a great experience. I thought this would be the same as other weight loss apps but it’s not. It’s a learning experience and changes your way of thinking!! Now I am more aware of food I choose and how I choose it. Of course I’m still learning but I’ve learned so much in just a few weeks. The coaches have answered my questions in a timely manner.

I have been using Noom for about 2 months now. My main purpose for subscribing to Noom was to lose weight, but I have been very disappointed in my results, losing only about 4-6 pounds (my weight fluctuates). On the positive side, Noom has helped me make significant positive changes that I know are good for my health; I eat less, my food choices are healthier, I walk more, I drink more water. The daily recording of weight, meals, water and steps is helpful. The readings are not terribly instructive but are good in that the program in reasonable and minimizes shame.
I have encountered a few problems with the app, when it does not function properly. To be sure, Noom tech support has fixed each problem, but I know Noom has been around for a while, and am disappointed it still has these glitches. Is Noom worth the cost? I am conflicted about that. I know it has helped me to be healthier, but I really want to lose weight. I really want to no longer be obese. I remain committed to myself and to following Noom, but no longer think it will help me lose significant weight.

I started Noom in January looking for a way to lose 30 lbs, but more importantly keep it off and maintain a healthy and confident lifestyle. Ultimately I wanted control of my health! I didn’t know what to expect with Noom. I had read a few reviews and other than getting on the scale every day, it seemed like something I wanted to try! I am so glad I decided to join and it has completely changed the way I view my heath journey and food and exercise altogether! The thing I love most about Noom is the pace of everything and that you are not expected to change everything all at once. It is all about making small adjustments and turning those adjustments into healthy, LASTING habits! Noom is all about retraining your brain and I love that!!! I am excited to continue this journey and see what I can accomplish with my health goals!!

I started 2 months ago. I have lost 12 pounds. I listen each day and write down my meals. I like having a coach who keeps me inspired. I find it easy to follow each day. I like the encouragement of the lessons. I am learning a new way to look at food. I can not wait to reach my goal with Noom.

I have been a NOOM member for almost 6 weeks, and I have lost a total of 14 lbs. I have learned so much regarding the science and psychology of gaining and losing weight. It has help me stop and analyze if my hunger is really hunger or a craving, and has often stopped me from making poor food choices. I have found that logging my meals hold me accountable as does weighing in every day. I love the daily lessons as well, as they are short, to the point, and very informative and educational. I have maintained my motivation and I feel that this time I have the tools, motivation and encouragement to keep going until I have reached my goal.

I am not really losing that much weight even with substituting another foods for higher calorie foods that are considered orange. It has been very discouraging and I do not really feel like sending me articles to reread is helping. I will keep trying but if you want feedback, that is where I am today.

Noom really works, it just takes patience. Read the lessons and get to know food colors. I started Noom mid Jan and have lost 5+ lbs so far. I didn’t have lasting success with other programs. The app could be improved. Many foods are listed in multiple colors and is confusing, no quick barcode lookup, not a specific coach but multiple guides who answer questions in 1-3 days and the app seems to be different for some folks. A few more quirks need to be fixed.

There are some good things about this program, but people need to know that you can’t get all the information you need to design your own healthy eating lifestyle unless you upgrade. And that costs about $1000,00. I’ve been on for about two months. I have not lost 10lbs yet. What I have learned is that I need to study food caloric/weight ratios and caloric burn averages for my metabolic rate, taking into consideration my personal health hurdles and effects of prescribed medication. Noom is not set up to handle all these variables. The important thing to note is that now I Truly understand how difficult it is to find and afford healthy the food sources needed to lose and/or maintain a healthier diet. We are what we eat!

I’m not giving up yet, but I’ve been on the program for like two months and I think I’ve lost like 2 1/2 pounds. I do the readings, I exercise, I lock my meals, I do all of it. And yes, I don’t always make great food choices, but I am always staying within my limits. It’s just not working. I will continue on for a while longer, but if I don’t start to see results it’s not worth it for me to continue to engage with this program.

At first, I thought the daily messages were silly. I’m busy and really didn’t have time for them. I started listening to them every morning and honestly and the days I don’t listen. I feel like I am not as focused. It truly works. It has been a slow trek for me but I think really this time feels different than ever before. Thanks for your help.

Meal streak lost several times even though I logged every meal. It’s demotivating and makes me resentful every time the notification comes up that says, “you’re about to log your xx meal!” Reminders to log meals come AFTER the meal is already logged! Never on the schedule I put in. The food logging has different colors for foods than the grocery grab quizzes.
These technical issues sound super frustrating, Tirzah, and we completely understand how it can be demotivating. I have been using the Noom app since January 2. I have lost 25 pounds by following the guidelines. Logging in meals and daily weight really creates a paradigm of mindfulness. The lessons are excellent. I would recommend this for a friend. For the developers: Many of us use an iPad. Please create a link between phones and iPads.

The best part for me has been the daily weigh-ins. Though there’s been constant gains and losses, I can visually see on the graph that I’m heading in the right direction! The daily lessons have been very helpful too as has the logging in of meals.

I’m like the psychology part of Noom but there is almost no coaching or community aspect. A guide has only reached out a couple times for near-meaningless exchanges. I keep reading about coaching sessions but have had none. I read that I’d be added to circles but haven’t seen it happen.

I’ve been Nooming for 5-6 weeks now. I lost 4 pounds at first. It’s already come back on despite increasing my green foods and adding in exercise. I tried to reach out to my guide for guidance and got a very generic response. Some of the info is contradictory in the articles. One said I should skip breakfast based off my habits and another said always eat breakfast.

I have definitely learned a lot from the daily readings. I think tracking my food helps keep me aware of limiting my Orange foods. I wish there was a way to track more steps when I know I’ve been walking without my phone. Also when I log a meal that has already been saved to the system it saves completely as a yellow food even though I know there’s a lot of green foods in there. Overall I like the systems and place and helps hold myself accountable.

My boyfriend got me a year of Noom for Christmas after I kept going back and forth if I wanted to buy it myself, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I started in January 2023 and after just a couple of months I’m down 17 lbs. I love the “classes” or readings and that there is structure to it. I’ve tried many different diets and workouts on my own but I didn’t have the motivation to do it on my own. With Noom I know I have a group of awesome coaches behind me, checking in on me and just giving me the motivation to do this.

Questions to Noom support take days for a response…Sometimes no response at all! App with permission to link to Apple product to record steps are not accurate. Two pounds lost since starting Noom on Jan 22….Would you be happy with that? And I’m always below total caloric count. I like logging my meals, exercise and it is helping to guide me to more yellow foods than orange but without support answering questions or too delayed responses a level of frustration exists. Now I am noticing that the app is not giving me credit for lessons read! I haven’t missed a day of reading my minimum time and it did not record two days this past week! What is going on Noom? Would like a transcript of this conversation. Seriously considering requesting a refund.

I successfully lost 35 pounds on Noom from 1/2021- 6/2021. I have maintained the weight loss since that time and have an additional 30 pounds to lose. I decided to return to Noom to work on that. My experience has been less successful this time around. I remember a lot of the content and find it helpful. I would like more updated success stories. I would also like a track for returning members - not sure how many of us there are but I would like a fresh feel. The circles are a nice touch and I am getting something from that. I have been getting a message repeatedly for four weeks that I will be added to a group - I have not been added. I sent a request for help this morning. I love the program itself and recommend it to many. It might just be where I am at but I am not as supported this time around as I would like.

This is the first program I’ve found that gently and permanently is allowing me to release weight by changing behaviors vs restricting and controlling my diet! It guides me and teaches me in a way that I feel in complete control of my day, how I feed my body and how I move! I love the analytics, the encouragement and the humor along the way. I look forward to checking in each morning. For once I feel delighted and truly empowered to leave the “bounce” mentality and ease into a true life change that will create a healthier happier me!

I’m really enjoying this approach to weight loss. Being mindful about what you're eating, how much and why instead of depriving yourself of things you enjoy and starving yourself is what is making this successful for me. I feel better about myself and I look forward to reading my next lesson for the day to see what else I can learn to help me on my journey. The lessons themselves are good motivation. Logging your meals and exercise is easy and also a great way to keep yourself in check through the day. The goals that are set for weight loss and exercise are easily attainable as well which is a great motivator and confidence booster. Making little changes and sticking to them is a great way to form healthy habits as well. Thanks Noom!

I’m finding the lack of support from a 1:1 coach nonexistent. I have had very little support from the team. I am sticking to the plan, read all the lessons and have largely stuck to my calorie budget. I think I’ve only gone over 1-2 times. I’m not losing weight and am very disillusioned. Andy

I have used the Noom app for 2 full months and I have lost 16 pounds; a pretty consistent 2 pounds per week. Logging meals is perhaps the most impactful feature with Noom and, fortunately, they make it very easy and convenient. I find if you journal all the stuff one eats or can eat in a day, you eat less. When you realize the number of calories in many of the foods you eat, it does change behaviors. Daily weigh-ins are something I hope to continue when I’m in maintenance mode.
The psychology component of Noom is hit or miss in my opinion. I realize that to address a wide audience each with vastly different circumstances and weight loss goals is no easy task. So far I have picked up a few helpful tips in my daily reading regiment, but much of the reading is common sense. I do drink more water than previously. Overall, I give Noon high marks. It’s working for me. I have about 12 more pounds to reach my weight loss goal and I hope to reach my goal in another 2 months.

I started with Noom back in 2019 and went from 245 to 165 (at my lowest). Over the years I still tracked what I ate and focused on things I learned. At the end of 2022 I started to see some old habits coming back. Early January I started back up to see if I could refresh myself and curb those bad habits. I see a lot has changed since I first started. So far so good but finding it hard myself to commit. I’m still plugging along.

I have been doing this for 2 months and have only lost 3lbs. I struggle to eat food I don’t like. They lied about eating diet food and no sugar. I am miserable and following all the rules and I still can’t lose weight! They refuse to give me a refund because I lost something and they changed my coach 3 times after it took them four weeks just to assign me one and after that you only hear from them once every three days so it’s almost impossible to have a real conversation! I would not recommend this to anyone. It’s a ripoff.

NO ONE HAS GOTTEN BACK TO ME ON ADDING PUSH UPS TO THE LIST OF SPECIAL OR ADDITIONAL EXERCISES-5 tl requests. No one cares that I cannot synch my watch (ZEPP) to the system. Leads me to believe you are robotic service givers that are not human. Responses are canned and with no change-content of replies robotic-AM LOSING WEIGHT THOUGH AND THAT IS MOST IMPORTANT.

Noom makes it easy to know exactly what I need to do to achieve my goals. I like that the calorie counter updates with my level of activity. This motivates me to move more so that I can have more of my favorite things at dinner.

I started the Noom program on January 1st after seeing my friend’s sister at a holiday party who had lost 70lbs with Noom. I have since lost over 20lbs. I’m excited to continue on this amazing journey!! I am 6 months from my goal and if I continue like this I will surely hit my goal!!

I love all the help and quick response from my support person. I would love green food recipes which I can’t find on the recipe section. I just found out I’m diabetic and I need help with low sugar eating. I need to learn how to cook without sugar and carbs and it’s hard to learn this. That’s my only concern right now.

Since starting Noom shortly after the new year, I have lost over 15 lbs and feel great. I’m learning a lot about myself, my food choices, and most of all: how much IS possible. I set out with a big picture goal of feeling more energized while losing weight but skeptical of the long term progress. I had a bumpy start with Noom. Wish I had a book to follow. Mostly has to do with figuring out the program. Would have been helpful to talk to a live person as an introduction. At first I felt I was reading obvious things I already knew. As I got deeper in the course material I started to learn more and more about the psychology behind weight loss which I really enjoy. My draw to Noom was having a coach to support and guide me. That isn’t the case. I don’t hear from them often and sometimes, even when I do, they’re ‘canned’ responses. I like the user-graphic interface. The app is intuitive and informative but it doesn’t deliver all it says it does. Nevertheless I look forward to the reading material everyday.

The app is pretty good. I would like more micronutrients added to my tracking and I wish I didn’t have to click so much while I’m logging food. It makes logging multiple entries at once Annoying. It’s been eight weeks I haven’t lost a pound. I’m not sure how effective this program is that I have been logging in exercising and doing what I’m supposed to be doing, but I will stick with the program a little longer to see how it goes.

My major complaint is with food tracking. There are too many incorrectly labeled foods, I cannot enter ingredients in bulk for recipes I cook, and there are no macros. I’m an athlete, so I need macro information. Which requires me to use another app. Also, some foods are inconsistently labeled orange, green, or yellow. For example, non dairy mills and breads can be all over the place. I can get the psychology info from a book. My Garmin watch doesn’t sync to this program correctly and double counts everything. The best piece advice Noom has to offer is to just give yourself back half the calories from exercising. Other than that, I find this very subpar to MyFitness app and a good nutrition and psychology book.

I have lost 14 pounds on Zoom, which is great. The structure is very helpful to me, and the tracking is motivating. The approach to food is good, and my Apple Watch (which I bought when starting this) has really gotten me moving. So that’s all positive. The lessons are cheesy in tone, smug in voice, but generally the information helps. The coaching is useless to me, a waste of time. So is the circles aspect.
The premium features were a total washout. I took a treat day and it wiped out my meal streak. Set me back to zero. Asked the coaches for help. Several useless rounds of exchange until the told me how to solicit tech support. Contacted text support. The bot was useless and aggravating. I asked to contact a human. They gave me a form to fill out and submit — I think it was supposed to initiate a live chat — and I would laboriously fill it out, explain my situation, click submit, get an error message, and be told to start over again. I tried three times. You start to wonder if it’s a ploy to avoid the cost of offering human chat support. All in all, while I’m grateful for how Noom has helped me lose weight, I don’t plan to renew once I reach my goal. It costs too much for this kind of non-support and could be easily replicated with free or cheap apps and information sources.

I’m liking the program overall, although weight loss is slow because of physical limitations with exercise. Food choices for logging is not as complete as it should be since the choices are user input for the most part. Weight Watchers (WW) has a better list of foods and are more accurate. I enjoy the information provided in the articles and find them helpful and educational.
Coaching has changed from the last time I did Noom. I much preferred the previous method of knowing the coach by name, instead of “your coaching team” and not really knowing who was giving advice or responding to my questions. They have been responsive though, so I’m not unhappy with them, just would prefer to know who I’m talking to. Thanks! Paula

I haven't lost any weight on Noom in 2 months. I have been consistent but I don't feel that noom works for me. It is a good calorie counter but missing the total nutritional value of what was eaten. Noom doesn't provide enough info about thyroid disorders and weight loss too.

I feel like by using Noom, it is the closest I’ve ever gotten to consistency and losing weight. I thought that by logging foods I may fall too deep and become obsessed like some people do, but the psychological learning that is provided by Noom helps remind me that it’s ok to go over calories one day and food is fuel. I love how Noom provides education on why we eat the way we do. With a number of health conditions impacting my eating habits, it’s difficult to follow sometimes. When I have a question, it takes at least a day or two to get a response. The calories in the food lookup are very inconsistent, you have the same thing but one is yellow and one is orange. Good program but it is very pricy for the quality provided.

I started out strong the first week. Then life happened, I didn’t check in like I was but I always remembered what I did learn and I’m not giving up on this, let me be clear. I wouldn’t recommend that anyone or everyone else do what I’ve done. I’ve lost around 25lbs since I started about 5-6 weeks ago. Yes, incredible numbers but I don’t check in hardly at all these days because of day to day life stuff (I’m overly busy). I’m trying to find balance in life currently. Noom absolutely works but I’m not working it correctly. I just happened to get these results and know that it all started with “nooming”. This probably won’t make the cut but somehow through this long winded post, I have to give them credit because I’m still trimming down. Thank you and also say sorry for “falling away’ because of life.

Noom has changed. The old version gave you a singular coach, but now it seems that a robot is spitting out weekly data and “Noom Guides” can be emailed but who knows who they are. It’s not a coach situation. Perhaps you have to add that on to the basic plan, but it used to be included. The food database is deeply flawed and the same food item is often found multiple times and it is categorized as different things—one item could be both orange and yellow. Recipes will not put the ingredients in the correct categories and so veggies in a soup are lumped with the chicken and all of it is counted as yellow. Therefore, when the robot spits out data for a weekly message, it’s deeply flawed. The garbage in garbage out saying comes to mind.
Also, the robot doesn’t account for a full picture, just a tiny slice. So if you have trouble eating enough calories in a day (me), you may eat more orange foods in the evening to make sure you are getting closer to adequate calories. The robot then sends a message about the proper percentages of foods or notes that you eat a lot of orange foods for dinner. It suggests you aren’t doing the program right and that seems short sighted. I’ve written the Noom Guides about it and it doesn’t seem to matter. The robots are automatic for the first six weeks. Beyond the flaws in the program, I just changed phones and now all my progress has been erased. I’m pretty unsatisfied and regret coming back to Noom.

I was losing weight on keto but it was unrealistic for me long term. I signed up for Noom to lose weight more sustainably. I have consistently been gaining weight and am very frustrated. The coaches just tell me the same canned advice and won’t take the time to look at my entries or make any real suggestions.

Logging food is too difficult, I want to log several meals at once, and manually input calories. I don’t have time to log after every meal, I prefer to do it towards the end of the day. Also manually inputting calories would help when eating restaurant food.

I am very pleased. Thus far, however, I have had minimal contact with coach, it would be nice if coach could look at what I’m doing and provide me with specific feedback. Not sure if that is part of the package or not but I feel that given it is an extra class that it should be. I love the lessons, I love the calorie range, and most of the foods that I eat are easily found. There are a few software limitations which would make it much easier to use such as having to go out of food & back in to enter food/look at calories/colors. It would be easier to discuss on the phone or in a different format. Thus far I have had very slow weight loss, which is my goal, as long as it is on a consistent trend!

I tried Noom in the past and had a coach that checked in with me much more frequently and help me set goals. At that time I decided I didn’t have the bandwidth to do Noom so I asked for a refund and stopped using it. This go around, I rarely hear from a coach and the interactions are not productive. Overall very happy. The daily check ins really do go a long way! I wish there was a quick look up for seeing where a food falls on the color screen. Also, as stated before I have Factor 75 meals for dinner most nights. Great and delicious healthy option! I am very upset with Noom and the service. First off I was charged 3 separate fees- $18.37, $52.43, and $159.70 for what I am not sure because the service is not worth $230.50. I have done what was asked of me with no real results. I sent a message asking questions with little to no response. From Jan.25 to Feb.11 is a long time to wait for an answer. After you took so much money from me…. You would think I could get a answer quickly. I see no benefits of the program for fees charged. It is a complete rip-off! I want a refund.

I enjoy the lessons and logging my food is helpful (but there are other free apps for that). I ordered an add on and was charged but there is no clear evidence that I am receiving these lessons and no one can give me a clear answer as to when or if I am. Response time is lacking (3-5 days if at all) and there is no one on one support as advertised. If I understand correctly this is now available for an additional charge which I don’t recall was mentioned during the selling process. I think this could be a great program, it just needs some attention to detail and better customer support. Maybe Noom is short staffed or overwhelmed with the response to the program, but I feel a bit like I was upsold and then after committing, the service is not exactly as advertised.

The articles and information that Noom provides are interesting and make sense. However, for someone with chronic health issues that make it impossible to do cardio, or whose medications make you gain weight, this program doesn’t help you lose weight. As a side note, the Noom app will not stay synced with my Fitbit app in spite of following the directions numerous times and going through it with a Noom Agent.

I don’t think the system allows us to track protein to ensure there is enough in our diet. My weight has actually gone up. I had much better luck with MyFitnessPal. I lost steady weight using that app. I’m pretty disappointed with my coach too. Just the odd how’s it going. No meaningful tips or support.

As for Noom customers service, they are very rigid with their auto-renewal practice. They do not make it easy to cancel your subscription. There is no benefit in auto renewal. Noom has no integrity when it comes to customer service. They trap customers into keeping their subscription with auto-renewal. If you are not quick enough to cancel your subscription, then you are out of luck.
From someone who grew up with the older weight loss programs, I see Noom as the younger generation’s weight watcher program. Teaching you moderation and exercising, and adding cheerleader psychology on their simple app. I can do all that on my electronic fitness tracker. Instead, to lose weight, join a gym and counsel with friends. It’s more fun and maybe less expensive.

I have been using Noom for about a month (and lost 12 lbs). It is user friendly and pretty easy to navigate. I wish the weekly meal plan was accessible more than when its originally posted. (If it is, I haven’t been able to find it.) Some of the color categories don’t make sense to me. Like smoothies for example are usually listed as an orange food, even when all the ingredients are green foods. I love the courses, they have definitely helped to reframe a lot of my thinking.

I love the product. The daily lessons really help. My one call NCS RN is that I’m an elite age group IronMan triathlete and protein is very important to me. Your system does not easily enable to track how much I’m getting. I’ve lost 7 pounds in 8 weeks. I will get my goal.

I did not realize I was enrolled in a renewable subscription. I also wasn't notified I would be charged for the renewal before it happened, or I would have canceled beforehand. I wanted to get a refund because I haven't used this service in months, but they refuse to issue it even though I requested it on the same day they charged me. It's at least unethical for them to try to trick people out of money by not making it clear that we're enrolling in a subscription and that it renews automatically without any warning that we're about to be billed. I did not find the service helpful, and am disgusted with their "refund policy".

It is cumbersome and time consuming to add in foods. It doesn’t go back to the meals page. The “service” of one on one coaching was offered but not followed up on. It takes days for a response. The “lessons” are so dumbed down. I feel like a child being told what to do. Overall, just not satisfied.

I love the theory behind this plan! The green, yellow and orange really helps me put things into perspective. That being said, when you need help there is nobody to answer you except for other members. When I read up on this plan you were suppose to get a coach. That didn’t happen. I even asked a direct question on the app in the messages 5 days ago and never got an answer to that either. I paid $148 for 3 months which is ridiculous if this is all I get. I will not be renewing at that price for sure! I also paid $68 for a wellness course and I don’t see that either.

The program works and I have lost 32 lb thus far. The lessons it has daily or helpful. On the negative the app is very poor with a database that is highly inaccurate. Even when you scan products the data and Noom is not close to the data the manufacturer provides. This requires you to constantly check against MyFitnessPal or some other calorie counter. Also the coaching is in turmoil. When I signed up it was free but now as I understand they are wanting to charge for it. Will not renew but will continue to follow the principles.

I started using Noom in Aug 2020 and lost 30 pounds. I continued on the program, especially logging meals, until recently. My credit card on file for auto-renewal was replaced after a fraud was committed and I forgot to update on Zoom. My membership abruptly ended with no notification. Surprised because wouldn't an automatic email go out letting me know as with any other company so they can keep a member? I was given an offer to restart and had nothing but problems with communication delays as well as their phone customer service is offshore and could not understand anyone plus they did nothing more than refer to a script. I finally got it renewed, but the app wouldn't update. I lost all my tracking for 2 1/2 years which helped me stay on course. I'm still getting nowhere with anyone being able to retrieve my data. Likely going to quit knowing that no one there really cares. Big growing pains is likely the problem.

I appreciate the psychological approach but I’m not losing weight. I am 75 & have badly arthritic knees w/ limited mobility. I’m still rehabbing from a hip replacement, and looking at likely knee surgery. I need to take off at least 30 pounds (ideally 60) and I’m losing patience with Noom. I feel very alone and unheard.

The daily content is ok. It has some good info we all already know. The reminder of the info is good. I wish there were more exercises and better support. Additionally, it takes a week for a coach to respond. That’s not acceptable. And the answers are generic at best. I would not recommend paying extra for that feature.

I love being able to eat anything, and learning the behaviors. A few suggestions from me; add more examples that are NOT grapes! Or pistachio! Also, it would be easier to track food without going back to ‘home’ to add your next meal. And a way to add items that are routine: vitamins, etc without manually finding them each day.

I like the progress system, but feel the meals that are including in the selections should be broken down into the three color categories. Instead of a cheeseburger being all orange it should be broken into the green, yellow orange as appropriate.

At this point it feels like I paying for a food tracker. I’ve asked a few questions and get some support/answers but I feel as if the coaching and groups are not helpful. Additionally I don’t feel as if the “lessons” are helpful - seems like common sense and knowledge. Nothing earth shattering. I’m still hopeful at this point as I am tracking my food but I feel like I’m just another number on the subscriber list.

This is nothing like what I thought it would be. The app sometimes works. I have no coach and the guides are like robots. It’s so boring and unmotivating. I thought that this would be a program that is more engaging and when you do try to be real with a guide their response is also so automated. I am very disappointed that I wasted money on this. It’s very deceptive.

A few things. The Noom calorie goal seems way too high for me. I am having to stay below the suggested minimum calorie intake in order to lose anything, so the range is not accurate for my body type. Some foods appear in more than one category, so I don’t know whether a food is yellow or orange, for example. The quips and jokes in the lessons are supposed to entertain, but given my busy schedule I would prefer something that gets straight to the point so I’m not wasting time. I would also prefer a coach to check in without my prompting, and to be a little more proactive with encouragement. I was in a slump and the coach didn’t check in with me. I feel like paying for that service should deliver.

Mostly fairly good. I have not had any contact from a personalized coach yet, only the “Noom guides”. Which feels automated. I do like the little courses. They are a good reminder and help with motivation. The tracker is a bit awkward, it would be nice to see the whole day at once with the option to edit, then one could move or add an item to the correct meal, a way to access the total nutrients for the day would be great as well at least macronutrients.

I have very much enjoyed using Noom. The bar code reader is the only thing I’m not impressed with. The daily readings and Noom coins help keep you motivated. The little track showing progress is also helpful. The weekly reports are great and help you set a target for the next week.

The program regards it users as infantile. The steps hinder anyone who needs to go at their own pace. The techniques emphasized are old and warn, but the feel need to repeat and repeat and repeat. The daily calories allotted are not reasonable for the very active. Also, they have obvious bots as your coach and group. AND it is impossible to stop getting charged, after you stop using the app. I have contacted Customer Service twice, and I am still getting charge. Noom is a scam.

I’ve liked the slow bits of information learned every day. Food tracking is fairly easy (although could use some work). Biggest concern is that I absolutely HATE the green yellow orange color coding for food. Please consider changing it to shapes, like bowl, cup, spoon- since the intent is portion size. This is a psychology-based program! Green means “good” and orange means “not good”.

I’ve been using Noom for about 2 months. In this time I lost 13 lbs. I’m breastfeeding and interested in losing weight slowly and in a healthy way. I like how I feel accountable to weight loss through listening to lessons daily. I’m looking forward to continued weight loss even if I feel like quitting a lot of the time.

I was charged twice for my Noom Service, we were quoted $118.30 for 6 months and they charged me for that and then a separate charge was made for $49 on our car saying that would be recharged in 6 as well. It keeps asking how online coach is helping (it has mentioned once a week coaching in the intro) and I’ve never had any coach reach out to me unless, you are referring to the little automated messages I have gotten from Noom in my messenger? That has popped up with random things but I wouldn’t call that “coaching“. I would recommend the program to other as easy to follow if you are self-motivated as I am, but would warn them to watch out for being overcharged. I can't seem to find the order number on my emails, this is not a very user-friendly experience.

I joined near the first of the year so I’m approximately 5 weeks in. I’ve dropped 8 pounds so far. My weight has gone up and down during that time. I’ve had some frustration. The tools provided are very helpful for understanding how I approach food and eating. Meal logging isn’t fun but it is helpful. I purchased the add-on Mental Health Wellness package. So far, that has not provided anything I would consider supportive. Just a few comments of encouragement but nothing substantive. Save your money and skip that add-on. I’m not sure yet whether Noom will be what I want/need to manage my weight long-term. I’m learning and adapting…like the human I am…but cannot see the end of the journey. Ask me again in a couple months.

Noom make you realize that you control how you see food. It allows you to refocus to healthy eating. Noom shows you how you eat impacts what you eat. It has taught me to anticipate the need to have healthy snacks if I won’t be around for lunch. This allows me to avoid going to a fast food outlet. It’s not a diet but a way of life. You still enjoy all the foods you love but learn how to manage for those cheesecake slices you love. It’s a new way for me to get healthy, stay healthy and look great with no sacrifice.

I’ve a long standing weight/health problem. It’s ingrained. My relationship with food seriously problematic. For people like me, the chronic cases, there needs to be far more support than currently on offer. One slip / bad patch can signal the end. Therefore there needs to be more than reminders to log, reminders about your long term goal to help.

The food entries are not comprehensive enough and the coaches are mediocre. WW coaches were better and far more personable. The scale also has a different weight within 30 seconds of weighing each time which can be very annoying. I do enjoy the articles and very motivated to continue.

When I started the subscription I was really happy and I found the team quick to respond and kind. Post subscription and weeks in I see that it takes almost a week for the Noom guides I was promised to respond. And when they do it’s impersonal and unhelpful. I have even had an instance where they repeated exactly the same pre-typed cookie cutter response as a week ago - without reading my past messages or my actual queries. I have hit a real plateau and there is no support on how to move past it. Even though I am continuing to exercise and diet I feel like I’m not getting the support that is promised with the subscription.

I purchased a 6 month subscription to Noom in Aug 2022 and it very clearly said that I would be notified 7 days before renewal that they were about to charge my card. Over the course of the 6 month period, I've fallen away from using it. Fast forward to today (05-Feb-2023), Noom NEVER NOTIFIED ME that my renewal was coming up, and my first notice was an email saying my credit card had been charged $177 for another 6-month subscription. I immediately cancelled in the app when I saw this, and reached out for a refund. Noom refuses to refund this charge, despite their own failure to notify me in advance of the upcoming renewal, citing "policy". As far as I am concerned, this all adds up to a very shady business practice...I'd give zero stars if that were an option.

Can’t see the value month after started. Not really losing weight and there’s ZERO support! Nobody to talk to. I would not recommend it to anyone. Listened to many sessions, followed them but it’s not adding any value and the fact I have no one to consult with is a deal breaker.

This is my second Noom Session. I lost 30 pounds the first time around and was able to maintain my weight for almost a year. I decided I wanted to work toward loosing another 20 pounds so rejoined Noom. Now down ten with another ten to go. Both times have been positive experiences. Noom, to me, is not a diet. Rather, it is a way of life.

I paid $175 for 6 months. I use the food log daily. The barcode scanner is helpful when it works and I like that I can save ingredients as a recipe because I eat the same things frequently. My activity is being brought over from my Garman watch, which is nice. The community is a nice place to chat when I’m bored or offer advice. I had not heard from a coach since signing up, until I spent an hour on hold, trying to talk to someone about why there was no coach. I’m just now beginning chatting with the coach and I hope that my experience with this improves. My overall weight loss has been minimal. For the price I paid I am not satisfied with the product and have turned off auto renewal.

I’m 7 weeks in and absolutely thrilled with the results I’m seeing and with what I’m learning about a healthy diet. I actually don’t even want to use the word “diet” as this does not feel like a diet at all. It’s simply a healthy eating plan. Nothing is off limits, it’s everything in moderation. I see this as a definite lifestyle change and totally sustainable. I feel healthier already and have so much more energy - thank you Noom Team!!

The Noom App is easy to use and the programme as a whole is simple, yet effective. I am slowly losing weight and can feel many aspects of my lifestyle becoming better. What’s more, I feel like I can do this long term. The daily lessons provide introspection and the feedback is nonjudgemental but clear. The colour system for logging foods soon becomes easy to use and I love that there are options for people who don’t want to cook every day or spend hours meal prepping. You can make this work with any lifestyle and you don’t have to break the bank on every shopping trip because you can find cheap options for green, yellow and orange foods that fit easily into your calorie budget.

The wifi weight is faulty. It often logs it as 170. As a long time myfitnesspal user Noom diary is not up to par and I have given up on it and gone back to myfitnesspal. The barcode scanner rarely worked and entering in the nutrition label was a pain and not user friendly. Wish I could just pay for the noom Tidbits.

I have made progress with the program and it continues to keep me accountable. I lost 10 lbs in a month and have become more conscious of my eating habits. The program is engaging and encouraging. However, the app has some flaws that need fixing. Twice I have encountered an issue with one of the lessons loading (Grocery Grab Game) preventing me from moving forward in the lessons. The first time tech support could not help and I had to delete and reinstall the app causing me to lose some progress data. This second time I’ve been waiting several days for a response from my coaches to get help but nothing yet. Some of the food items also have wrong or differing calorie counts but I’ve managed with this issue. I’m hoping the lesson downloading issue can be resolved but I dislike paying for something that doesn’t work.

I did not know exactly what to expect when I joined NOOM. I am pleasantly surprised with the program and have learned so much about my eating habits. You make it so easy to log my meals. I do it all the time. I like that for the most part the lessons are read aloud and I can read along. I miss that in the lessons with no sound. I am enjoying the program and am pleased with my weight loss so far.

This is the best diet experience I have ever had. Believe me, I have tried almost everything. With Noom I feel supported every step of the way. It doesn’t matter if it’s been a good day or a bad day, Noom is there. I also understand why previous efforts have been unsuccessful. Noom has taught me so much about the psychology behind eating and losing weight. The quizzes have been essential in reinforcing importance points in my learning journey. I’m enjoying my experience so far. I wish the weight was coming off faster, but I understand I’m resetting habits. I enjoy the meal and recipe suggestions. I cook out of my fridge/freezer, so I modify if I don’t have the exact ingredient.

I am doing Noom for the second time, and I love all the changes you’ve made! I love the daily calorie range goal rather than the fixed goal. I love the less invasive “coaching” with options for more. It really feels like I can make the site my own. What I think needs more work: the Noom coins. What’s the point? Maybe they should be tied to the free days, which should be more accessible, by the way.

I’ve had success losing weight because I was very motivated when I started. The food logging, exercise tracking, and daily readings have been great, I’ve had polite but unhelpful responses to inquiries about app glitches including an inability to read my weekly reports. And if there is personalized coaching involved I’ve not seen it as part of my plan. I’m not impressed with the “circles” feature- social media type interactions are something I’m looking to avoid, not increase. Overall, I’m losing weight and feeling good and have to give at least some credit to Noom. But at this point I do not plan to renew my subscription at the end of 4 months.

There are so many foods that aren’t in the database and there are also many of the same foods with a variety of wildly different data (calories, colors, etc.). The app doesn’t sync accurately with fitness apps. The coaching is rudimentary to say the least. Worst of all, I haven’t lost any weight after 4+ weeks of sticking to the program very tightly.

My wife as we all are, has been concerned about keeping herself healthy as she aged. The warm and fuzzy tone of the Noom website made her feel this could be a positive affirming way to monitor her weight and improve her awareness as she ages. Wonderful, not great on how the web works. So she does some work during the trial period, finds it's not really that helpful telling nothing she didn't already know and she thinks she unenrolls.
Not so! We get a $199 fee for another year. No other communication, I just notice it doing the books. I call to find out what the story is and they say it's in the contract, no refund, she could donate it to someone else. No budging the help desk and no offer to let me talk to someone more senior. It's clear she hasn't used the program since the trial, yet they are nailing her for another year. So much for warm personal service. At 80, we have better things to do with our money, even if we want to give it away, than to have it auto-renewed. This is not the last Noom will hear from me on this. Taking advantage of seniors is unacceptable.

I was asked to rate my goal coach this morning. I don’t know that I have a goal coach. I’ve interacted with a guide, but no one is proactively helping me with coaching around my goals. I had to give a low rating because I have no frame of reference for the question. I think receiving tips and coaching specific to the information that I’m recording in the app would be fantastic. I will also add that I’m having an overall great experience with Noom. I’m seeing results and have enacted real change in my lifestyle. I recommend it to anyone struggling with understanding their relationship to food.

So far I love the everything that Noom is teaching me. As far as my caloric bank, I always seem to be hungry but I don’t want to raise my calorie intake. I also don’t hear much from a coach that I keep seeing in E-mails and things. I just know that I can ask questions in the slack.

Other customer service things they need to improve: My account number was not included on my receipt so I’m unable to provide you with that info for this survey. One day this week content and logs would not load. Rebooted my phone - did not help. Two inquiries to BOT did not help. Have asked x2 how to print the recipes I want to use with no response. It is annoying and very unsanitary to have to keep touching my phone while I cook. Recipes I have tried were delicious.

Noom makes it so easy to log meals that I have been able to do this consistently in a way I never have been before. The fact that most of us underestimate the number of calories we consume each day by about 600 calories has made a big impression on me. I am learning to gauge calories more accurately by logging on the app - and most importantly, —-plan and eat according to my goals. Thanks, Noom!

Noom is the first thing that has made sense and has proven, consistent results for me. I could not be happier. Noom is a good concept, but not what I was expecting. The app itself is easy to maneuver, but I find it to freeze- especially when you check your progress and view your weight chart. The app always freezes there and I have to kill the app because I can’t go back to the main screen. Even after doing so, when I press the app icon to return to Noom, when it opens, it’ll still have the progress chart pulled up and I have to swipe up to kill the app again.
Besides that, I find there are too many lessons that I need to learn and when it comes to taking the quizzes, I don’t remember everything I’ve learned. My noom coach also takes 3-4 days to reply to me and I’ve found it to be a generic response. I have selected to not have them talk to me way back when and I still get someone messaging me. Overall an alright app, but most likely not for me specifically. A bit upset I couldn’t have had a reduced price trial. Noom kept “pressuring me” to purchase the full 3 month session when signing up. I wish I would have gotten a larger discount. This app is not worth its price.

I’m not impressing with the support I’m receiving. I was told I would be placed into a Noom circle and it would take up to 2 business days. That was five days ago. I asked a question 2 days ago and haven’t gotten a response. When I joined Noon I was hoping to get support on my journey but I’ve gotten NOTHING.

When I purchased Noom, I wasn’t 100% sure what I was getting. I knew that there was the meal tracking and the advertisement to “change the way you think psychologically about food.” Which was really all that I was expecting when signing up for Noom. When I took the quiz before beginning the program, I found that there was support/motivation groups, online coaching, and exercise tracking as well. Those were all a plus for me and I got excited!
Here comes the “okay” part. Your coaches reach out to you every week and give kudos on your weekly goals. However, since I’ve started the program, every time I reach out to my coaching team, it is multiple days between responses (which is okay if the question you have isn’t burning). This is normally okay because the program and the lessons are pretty self explanatory. However, if you have a question that needs somewhat immediate attention, you might have some trouble. Other than that, Noom has been great! With it, I’ve lost 15 lbs and changed the mindset around my eating habits.

I joined Noom mainly for the food logging, calorie counting piece of the app. So for that piece, I’m satisfied. However, the price I paid for the subscription was supposed to include Noom coaches and support. I have not heard from a Noom coach in the 5 weeks I’ve been using Noom. I ask questions and don’t get responses for days or not at all. This might even be okay if the actual food logging and dish creation was more user friendly.
I’d even love to be able to not only add my own recipes (which I can do), but the fact that I cannot go back in and change my own recipes (I’ve made them healthier) or even change the number of servings the recipe makes (can’t do this in the app…why?) is absolutely infuriating and makes me spend way too much time trying to log my food which was the whole reason for joining Noom. So fix the calorie-counting portion and actually have a Coach reach out. Not a Noombot, but maybe a real person who CAN answer a question.

It’s been 5 weeks and I’m still very excited about Noom. Everything is working out eventually and I’m learning a lot. I just wish I could chat back and forth with my coach for 10-15 minutes without having to wait a day or two in between. But she’s been very helpful.

My Noom experience has been great! The guides are helpful and encouraging. The lessons each day give you input that deals with internal struggles that each of us can have when approaching food. Not very positive. I found that I was not eating enough. Trying very hard to eat at least 3 meals, no change. Increased water, no change. Have reached out for help, replied 2 times with only one real answer. Maybe it is my age. I had such success when I tried before. I recently had a period of about a year with high stress in personal life. Gained 10 back during the past year and unable to budge the scale. Gave glowing comments to my friends in the past, I can’t comment or suggest Noom now.

After one month the lessons reset to 101 when it should have gone on to 301. I have not received reply on how to fix this. This is the second system error. When I joined I got email that I would be billed $50 for something I did not order. I contacted Noom and was told nothing could be done! I had to wait, pay the $50, then request refund. I started January 1. I was excited because my sister-in-law had lost 50 pounds using Noom. I waited, been hovering between 142 and 144 and I wanted to get it down to my original 115 to 120 before my reunion. It’s now over a month, I have not lost a single pound, actually, I am now hovering between 145 and 147 so I’ve gained anywhere between one and 3 pounds. I have been through three coaches, the second one was fantastic and somehow she disappeared. This last one just keeps asking me what I think. I should try next. Clearly if I knew what to try next I wouldn’t need a coach. I actually restarted all of the readings to see if I missed something. I need a new coach. Who’s going to do the work and help me. I’m paying a lot of money for nothing right now..

One month into Noom, I have not really lost any weight. I have stuck with the plan faithfully. I think my calorie allowance is too high. I even checked my settings to see if you thought I was a man. I am walking at least 10,000 steps a day. The coaching has been intermittent—good when it is there, but then nothing for days at a time, even when I ask for support. I am disappointed to say the least.

I love the combination of daily scale exposure, logging meals, learning new things every day through the lessons, and the weekly checkins with the Noom coaches. And the little nudges reminding me to take action are great. I also love the color coding of food and the mealtime updates on how I’m doing with food distribution. You have a great program here!

Since I started this, my mental health has gone down the drain. I now have a poor relationship with food, because I am counting my calories down to the teaspoon, not to mention the food in your catalog isn’t correct (at least most of it). Even when I scan my foods, it’s not always correct so you’re charging people a lot of money for something that you are having the clients put into your app which makes it not even reliable also, I have been doing everything except reaching my step count, and I have not lost a single pound. I actually am maintaining my starting weight. Honestly thinking about asking for a refund because as far as I’m aware, this doesn’t work. Not to mention, I literally have not been put in contact with a one on one coach, or even told how to do that.

Love Noom. Recently retired, as an RN I am aware of nutrition and exercise importance, love that Noom offers a different approach. No guilt, so enjoying my evening with my husband and our cocktail hour. But have made small adjustments during the day. Losing slowly but that isn’t my main goal. I’ve asked for another via email and through the app. You take people's money and then do not follow through. Despicable. As a therapist that uses CBT, you’re doing a horrible job with it. The app not updating and keeping my daily logs is very frustrating- my steps particularly, but yesterday it was also my weight and my water as well. I have been in touch with Customer Support twice. I’ve done everything they’ve said. I’ve even had to uninstall and reinstall. And several days of data are just gone. But I guess it’ll just be how it is. I won’t renew for another 4 months. Not worth the cost.

I’m finding that I’m doing so much better using Noom than trying to lose weight on my own. I have been going to the gym for four months and saw very little weight loss even with going five days a week for a couple hours. Once I started using Noom I realized there are more psychological ways to help learn about my eating habits that help me drop weight. So far I’m almost ten pounds down and feeling great, sure I have bad days but that’s it, just a bad day. I’m excited to be losing the weight and having a great support system also.

I really like Noom and learning about food differently. I find it a little overwhelming to keep up with logging and reading all the material. I feel it moves at a fast pace and I’m not able to comprehend everything. Add to the stress of meal planning and preparation and I’m so overwhelmed. I really don’t have a handle on how to meal plan, I just don’t understand how I’m suppose to select foods throughout the day.

This is my second time with Noom. I had to resubscribe due to my account being corrupt. I am very disappointed that coaches now cost extra. More difficult to log food. Example Stacy's bagel chips used to be by chips eaten. That is no longer available. Or a gyro sandwich is yellow, but plain gyro meat is orange. Seems more monetarily driven and less client care driven.

Food tracking is what’s expected as it’s an app. I’m sticking to the daily program logging meals accurately and weighing in. I’ve had no real measured success in losing weight so far and have been in Noom for several weeks now. I believe the program is geared towards younger people and not over 55 as I am. I’ve registered each day way under the calorie zone so I can only imagine what would have in I actually ate all the calories I’m allowed which I believe are set way too high.

Never realized my struggle with weight. The lessons in Noom has exposed why I struggle and has helping me retrain my thinking process in cooking healthier. Taking responsibility for my actions and owning my mistakes was a bit humbling and eye opening. I found my love cooking again! I was doubtful when I signed up for Noom. I had tried numerous weight loss plans in the past up to and including two different types of gastric surgeries. They worked for a period of time but then I gained the weight and more back. I thought I knew it all when it came to weight loss. When I signed up for Noom I felt it was my last chance. I’ve been in the program for 3-4 weeks and have lost 12 pounds. That may not seem like a lot but I think it’s amazing. I’m not starving. I’ve had a couple of slips but haven’t beat myself up, I’ve just carried on with the program. I’ve learned so much about myself and what happens to my physical body in the short time I’ve been in the program. I would gladly recommend Noom to anyone.

I decided to join Noom after looking at a few other programs. I was attracted by the idea that it was psychology based and that coaching support was available if needed. Noom Circles offer peer support and are monitored by coaches who provide information and encouragement. I’ve posted several times and received positive feedback from other “Noomers” and, of course, the coaches. I’m satisfied with my experience thus far and intend to continue my journey to better health using Noom as my guide. A good, solid program provides the tools and resources to help one achieve their weight loss goals and I think I’ve found that with Noom.

Haven’t had much contact with coach. They really don’t reach out to me and when I do ask a question it takes over a day to get an answer. Frustrating. So I tend to not use them. As of today, after starting 12/29, I’m down 10.2#.

For years I saw my weight go up and up, I would take off a few pounds and then put them back on. This is my second time on Noom. Last year I lost 25 pounds and developed so many great eating and moving habits, but did not reach my goal. I am retired and travel a great deal. I make great choices all day until dinner. Joined again to refresh my skills and lose my final 15. Both last year and this year I am losing weight very slowly, but I found this is sustainable and it works. Love the logging!!!!

Enjoying the Noom app and the lessons, style and tracking devices. The green, yellow and orange food categories are very helpful. This is working for me to develop some other habits I needed and have been searching for. The Noom coaching aspect is very helpful almost like having your own nutritionist.

The coaching is subpar, I’ve had three coaches in about 2 weeks. The coaches rarely check in. The articles are bland and are available in many other health sites. The app leaves much to be desired. MyFitnessPal is much more robust and is free. The fitness and wellness apps don’t connect (per your staff).

This app was not helpful in the slightest. However, my biggest issue is with their deceptive advertising and how I was treated when I tried to cancel. I felt duped into buying the "subscription" which was going to last for four months. When I tried to cancel after approximately three weeks, I was told I was only eligible for a refund if I cancelled within 14 days. I don't know how anyone trying a weight loss program would be able to decide if a weight loss app is helpful in less than two weeks. When I complained, I was essentially told "too bad" and that I'd be paying for the full 4 months, whether I used it or not.

Noom is a great app. Lots of clues to lose weight. Great encouraging from the app and from the daily articles. Lots of new information as well to input into daily lifestyle changes. I’m excited to see where the app takes me.

The advert indicated that I would have support in this journey in the form of a coach. Thus far, it is all automated. There is a feed in the app where coaches post but they never respond to comments or questions from members. I asked a question in my personal messages and after five days have not received any communication.

I love the app and it’s been great. I started with a group of coaches, not so great. Took days to answer a question. Asked for my own personal coach, got one and then I received a message that you were changing my coach. So, I’m onto this coach who takes days to answer my questions. I’m not really happy with this. I want my FIRST coach back!!!!!

The Noom program has been great and I don’t plan on quitting! However, the app has features that do not seem to function. I realize that the group prompts are no longer valid because of Noom Circles, but I have requested a 1:1 coach for additional help and support multiple times and I haven’t been given a coach yet... For awhile my messages went unanswered in my group coaching message thread. I updated the app and there was still a delay. Not sure if they weren’t getting the messages or were just unable to answer but that is the one thing that I have struggled with. Everything else is great and even without the messaging and coaches, the program is still worth it.

I started Noom just about a month ago. I’ve had some challenges with illness and recovering from surgery during this time so my weight loss has been slow. I am thrilled with the sustainability of this program, the ease with which I can learn and lose the weight. It’s a terrific program and I’m so glad I was ready to take the leap!

Enjoy the learning content, but doesn’t seem personalized based on my pre-enrollment questions. Have not received the coach mentioned in the teachings. Noom circles is helpful to connect with others. I have lost weight since starting and am satisfied with those results. Noom motivated me to lose the weight and I was finally ready to commit.

I like the online program a lot. The only issue I have is it doesn’t relate to me specifically. I have chronic foot pain and cannot increase my exercise and I do not get any suggestions on how to adjust because of that. Also I really liked my coach, she was understanding my health complications and then one day I have a new coach and have to start all over with my history. Quite frustrating.

I like the app, and I’m doing fairly well with this attempt, but the personalized coaching seems less than personal. I’ve caught a message from someone (some bot?) a couple of times but would miss it if I weren’t looking. The check-ins with the coach should be more obvious and regular.

I feel my weight loss has been a little slow but it is steady. I am learning so much about how Psychology affects my food choices and that is valued. I feel a little confused as I am supposed to eat more greens but if I do then I don’t meet my calorie range. I guess I need to get in my greens but still good yellows. I like the freedom to account for social experiences, travel-routine changes. I highly recommend and will continue to make good choices! ❤️

I find the articles helpful and informative. I like the color charts for food. I like the app and signing in. I have asked for a coach and for guides and have no one. I’ve written support three times and nothing. I paid for the stress reduction package and have received no articles or anything.

I became a customer in November doubtful that I would lose any weight given the holidays were coming but to my surprise, I managed a sale but steady decline in numbers. It’s the end of January and I have lost about 11 pounds. Thanks to Noom I have continued with things I already knew and have learned more about why we do what we do. My goal is to get from 165 to 140 and learn what I can along the way. Thank you.

One month in and I am loving this experience. I have completed and lost weight with other weight loss programs but this is the first time I feel more in control. I am able to understand why I eat and how psychology affects everything. I feel I have more strategies to cope with the real world.

If routinely withholding information is just a ploy to have me “buy” more services, I feel that’s unethical and would quit this service. I’m not finding it user friendly. For example, I was encouraged (by a bot ????) to join a group of my interest. OK… I did. I joined the “inspiration and motivation group". Which is a pretty good name for it EXCEPT every time I tried to read an entry, It cut off the rest of the entry half way... SO THAT was not motivating or inspirational. I know I have been erratic utilizing Noom. I regret that, And rationalize my erratic behavior to the many barriers I run into when I attempt to use it. SO THAT'S MY EXPERIENCE…so far…

If I could give no stars I would. When I signed up on the app, it told me that I would get a notice when my subscription was up for renewal. As you can guess I never got that email. So of course they charged me again for another 6 months. When I called them it was very difficult to explain to them what happened as they kept saying the same thing over and over. Very long story short they refused to give me my refund. Even after speaking with a supervisor they still refused to credit the account. So if you are expecting such a thing...they told me on the phone they don't offer that...basically you have to remember on your own. As far as the diet itself...well you can guess since I'm cancelling the subscription. Save your money! Terrible company to do business with.

I am so happy. I’m happy with my current and future self. Thanks to my Noom coach I have goals for a lifetime and an eating style that works for me. Have been doing the program diligently for a month but did not lose any weight. If anything it seems that maybe gained a pound. I am pretty healthy and do the required 16+ steps per day. Weight loss window seems too high to induce weight loss. Tried to get help from a coach/guide, but got generic responses.

Really good information on psychology of weight loss, blockers, etc. Not so happy with my results as I haven’t lost weight since the 2nd week and I have been logging every bite and staying at the low end of my calorie goal. I am now six weeks in. Going to keep trying for a few more months, but if still no results then I will try something different.

Noom is keeping me honest. I track meals and am honest about what I am eating. Logging daily helps me see my patterns and strive to keep myself going. The positive outlook to even rough days has helped get over hurdles.

The app is great. It is interesting and informative. Unfortunately I must be doing it wrong because the weight is not coming off. I am thankful that I have learned to eat more green foods but it has not led to weight loss.

I was shocked and pleased to get an immediate response from Noom after writing my original complaint review. They contacted me directly by email and promptly cancelled my subscription and refunded my money. I strongly suggest they work on their "chat" customer service which offers no options for "cancellation" or "disputed charges." That said, they were quick to respond. I had used Noom successfully in the past, and this quick resolution affirms my general good opinion of the company. However, please use a real person for customer service. These ineffectual bots make you look bad.

Beware of a trial period, and don't make the mistake of accidentally signing on. I was researching Noom on IG, and it offered a trial period. I filled it out to a point and then decided against it. I got off and never received any confirmation. The next month I was charged $136. When I called Noom all I got was the robotic assistant on Chat. I wrote and explained that I never signed up, and didn't even know it went through. Check the records, I wrote, I never signed into it once. But the chat told me there was no way out and I had to pay. As I continued to write, a message came on "thanking me" and saying it was my advocate. I called my credit card company and Capital One said they would invalidate the charge. Noom gets fat on accidental subscriptions.

I was skeptical, no lie there, lol. But I was so ready to try something, to get some help, I decided why not. I’m really glad I tried it because it has been enormously helpful!! There were so many foods that I had no idea were green, yellow or even orange! I also have been given so much help in dealing with my triggers. I felt so discouraged for so long - I also had no idea I wasn’t eating enough. I thought eating very few calories was what I was supposed to do but wow, I feel I can eat so much now AND I am losing weight, slowly but surely! And I am thrilled because I know I am losing it the healthy way. Also, the app doesn’t guilt trip me on my rough days! It continues to encourage me instead of guilt tripping me, and that has taught me to show myself patience and grace, which has also made me want to try harder. I am really glad I tried this!! I can’t tell you how many other things I’ve tried and failed, which has made me feel incredibly low about myself. :( But this is helping me so much!! I can’t wait to see how far I can go with this!!
