I’m loving the lessons. I’ve learned a lot about How I should eat and what I should eat. The daily weigh ins are very frustrating though. I’m 5 weeks in and really thought I would have lost more weight than I have. Only about 4 lbs down and that fluctuates every day. I follow program and watch what I eat. I have had some slips but not a lot. A little disappointed after all the hype and reviews I have heard about this program. I’m not giving up but just feel like I should be in a more satisfied frame of mind and I’m not.

My experience has been good. The daily readings and tips are simple to read so adding it to my already busy day doesn’t feel overwhelming. I will say it can be a lot of information to try and retain, but appreciate that I can bookmark and go back and review if I need to.

NOOM works for me because it keeps me focused on my food habits. In the end I’m losing weight because I eat less and move my body more, but when I don’t noom’s daily tracking expectation, I don’t reliably do these two seemingly easy things. The information they provide in the articles are good, and some of the points I’ve truly internalized (like the importance of protein and breakfast’s effect on the elephant). But for me the tracking makes the difference…the structure of logging and accountability and participating in a program make me behave such that I follow Thru w the habits, which I wasn’t able to during my break from noom last year. My hope is to be able to use noom then try my ability to do it solo a few times until I’m able to eat reliably responsibly on my own. My biggest complaint about Noom is not being able to read some tiny print like the calorie progress bar or the food list. I wish they’d make the numbers dark and bold.

I Started following NOOM on Feb. 27, 2022. I’m always struggling to lose 20-25 unwanted pounds. I’ve tried every diet invented in the past 20 years with some success. The problem is the diets were not sustainable over the long term. I’ve lost 1-1 1/2 pounds per week over the past 8 weeks and am half way to my goal weight. My clothes are fitting better and I have more energy.
I like the psychology behind the plan. It makes sense and makes it sustainable. The coaching is fantastic and there is a support group online which becomes your cheering section! It’s all about “mindful eating and choices”. This eating plan is easy to follow and no foods are excluded. I like the colour coding for foods. The foods in the “red” category are not off limits. You just try to keep them under the allotted calories. So if you are craving something sweet, or chocolate, go for it within the calorie count for that section. Loving it so far!

Daily short lessons have taught me a lot about how the body and mind work regarding weight loss. I’m on track to meet my goal weight and that’s amazing. Like the humor in the lessons and love the psych tricks that get me back on track when I periodically slip up. Personal coach has been great.

Reading Noom every day makes me aware. After 5 years, I am changing habits and watching what I eat. The reading in the morning sets up the day. Writing down what I eat is eye opening. I am surprised that I graze while awake. I don’t think about it, I just eat. Noom is changing that.

Noom is super boring. I was hoping to get some impactful information. I was hoping to be excited about weight loss again. Noom is really boring. For someone like me with ADHD I need something to keep my focus and I never want to open the app because I feel like I’m trapped for five minutes of boredom.

I have been very pleased with my adventure with Noom. It is easy to follow and I’ve actually lost weight and for most part kept it off. I would recommend Noom to a friend! The articles are entertaining but informative. I don’t feel like I a loser if I slide but realize that sometimes things are not perfect.

More than a month in and no personalized goal coach, haven’t been added to a group, my “custom meal plan” I paid extra for was generic and unhelpful. I do like the food logging and tracking but I paid for much more than I’m getting.

I tend to keep it a secret when I try to lose weight, but I have been telling many people about Noom. It is something anyone could do for the rest of their lives. It is doable, sustainable, and encouraging. The daily lessons are fun. Even the quizzes are enjoyable, because they are never too long. There is great humor sprinkled throughout it all which is very important to me. I’m learning to look at successes more than defeats and slips as opportunities to learn and go forward in another direction. Noom gives each person the power, so if they can no longer have a coach or whatever, they have tools on board to continue to succeed.

I was hesitant to try this. But I did and it has been going excellent for me! It’s fun to get on the scale now and it’s fun to try to find new things to eat that are healthy for me. I would highly recommend this for anyone trying to lose weight.

I like Noom but like anything else, you get out what you put in. I wish the food database was more complete. The support is outstanding. I like being part of the community but working with the coach is by far the best part.

I was hopeful that Noom would be different after trying numerous other dieting approaches. However, the results have been small even with the help of a coach and community group and I fear I will never reach my goal. I have not yet learned how to manage food and weight loss.

I cannot recommend Noom enough. It is exactly the kind of support I needed and after 2 months I have lost 6kg/ 1 stone while not dieting. It is about understanding the psychology of our relationship with food and eating. It is about awareness of what we eat and how much we eat. It is not about deprivation! Add to this the coaches who are super helpful! Because the journey to weight loss is full of ups and downs! If it was not for the reassurance and encouragement of my coach Stephen, I would have given up after 2 weeks thinking “the is doesn’t work! It is too slow!” Yes you need to be patience as the weight loss is slower than any crash diet but evidences have demonstrated that it is linked to stable weight. So it is worth it! I didn’t exercise like crazy throughout the past 2 months, just walked more, I ate food I love but in a more conscious way. I’m still on the journey to maintain my weight now and I’m sure Noom will continue to help me with that!

When I began Noom, the readings could be listened to rather than read. That changed as I got further into the program. I used to listen in the car but now I need to carve out some time in my day to read. I am a voracious reader but this is not what I signed up for.

Noom is really just a daily reminder of how to build healthier self habits. Like a lot of things moderation is the key to success and being reminded that you don’t have to be perfect every day to succeed. Noom I think helps remind you that just because you ate 2 cupcakes for lunch doesn’t mean you still have to make poor food choices for dinner. There really isn’t anything new about Noom, but it is a very helpful reminder of how to do good and tips and tricks to help you get there.

Noom has had some helpful articles, but overall I haven’t found what I need to lose weight. I need more info about fog or storm eating and strategies for fighting that as well as anxiety in general. Also, it would be helpful to be able to see more easily over time what my calorie intake has been….such as with a graph showing the calorie count of days passed. It would also be helpful to be able to see the dietary quality of diet. That is, how much protein and nutrients are being consumed.

I have loved every minute of Noom. I worried about the daily weigh in, but now I am so excited about it! Even when it’s gone up a little I know why and I can adjust. It keeps me accountable. Rather than wondering all week what’s going on I can see it on the daily and it spurs me on. I love the daily audio - it has helped me untangle my actions and why I took them. I am more present in my day to day activities now - reaching for cheese sticks no longer!
I did get the recipe plan but tbh I have changed my approach and just use the recipes as guides on how to make things healthier when I need to. What I love is that I am still basically making food I normally cook and adjusting portion sizes and adding more salad.☺️ It feels not sustainable for me. If in doubt I just add salad - and salad is fun! So many ways to make it yummy. And logging food is fun - I enjoy seeing the zones of the food and love that I can eat anything … in moderation! Overall it’s been a great change in my life and one I can see lasting me forever.

Not great for medically supported weight loss. Does not allow accurate tracking of nutrients like protein. Psychological aspects of the program are dumbed down to the point of being pretty much useless. Found the feedback associated with lack of success actually negatively impacted my mental health.

I’m mostly pleased, but I’d like to see improvements in the journaling section. I’d like to be able to enter tomorrow’s food tonight. I’d like to copy a previous meal to a diff date. I’d like to see nutrition of the foods. I’d like to see weekly stats as well as daily stats. I’d like to see remaining calories more prominently. Go to MFP and copy some of their features.

So far the program is working well. I enjoy having the app on my phone. It’s convenient and quick to keep track of the things I need to do each day. The mini courses are great. I have learned quite a few new tricks and tips. I am losing weight which is great! A couple problems are some foods that exact same thing are listed as yellow and then again as green. Also I wish there were more family friendly recipes especially for making a dinner that allows me to stay within my calorie budget.

Noom program is really a great source to make lifetime changes. I have done another program over and over. I was hungry much of the time. Not now - with the education and following the suggestions I have not been hungry. I fill up on foods that my mind was convinced would not sustain my appetite! I was surprised when the weight started to come off slowly and fluctuated. Now (6 weeks) my weight is coming down slowly but I have lost 8 pounds. I am sleeping so much better and clothes are starting to get loose. I have several meals out and tried to make better choices (other than Easter).
I was careful for breakfast and lunch but very little foods in the green category were available. I enjoyed every bite and 2 desserts (smaller than my normal portions of sweets and came home and ate ice cream etc. I had decided it was a off day and to indulge! Yesterday (Monday) I started right back and this morning down a full pound! My lowest weight so far. I also find I am spending less in the grocery store! All good changes! So glad my neighbor told me about Noom.

Noom is helping me literally ‘see’ that my food choices are contributing to my weight gain. The food logging feature is the easiest I’ve ever experienced in a weight loss app. The exercise and movement tracking is also really easy and the water too. And I really benefit from the 1-1 coaching communications I am having. It’s a great app. Very happy with it.

I started using Noom just over five weeks ago. I have found this experience to be very motivating to help me stay on track for my journey to better health. The easy daily logging of water, food, weight and exercise brings focus to my path. Despite having background knowledge in fitness and nutrition I find I am gaining new information as well as tips and tricks daily. I’m down over 7lbs already and fitting into smaller sized clothes. I am looking forward to continued behavioural changes as I continue with Noom.

I was a bit skeptical at first, as most apps are just looking to take money. But the support through one on one coaching and group chats has helped me stay on track, while keeping myself accountable for my actions by logging my weight and foods. I am very satisfied with Noom! I think after all the dieting I did in my life, Noom is what everyone needs because they teach you exactly what your brain needs to know/learn about food and behavior. In 30 days I lost 10 pounds, and not only that…I’m 59yr old, so now my metabolism is slower than ever. What a success! I’m super happy! Thank you Noom!

Overall I feel very supported by the Noom site. I feel that I am in good hands and that I will succeed in this process. Some of the info about why we eat what we eat is confusing to me—like the Venn diagram chart—and unhelpful. Room for improvement there!

Wish I would have found Noom long ago! It has enabled me to stay on track with eating for a month now. I have lost 12 pounds. It has slowly increased my step count which has made me more fit and able to move easily. My husband says I look much more fit and trim. I am very pleased with Noom!

It would be convenient if there was a separate category for restaurants, specifically when logging foods. It would be a great advertisement for restaurants too! Also, there are a lot of duplicate/very similar foods with a wide range of calories.

App is well put together and the lessons are fun to read. I didn’t really care for having a coach, and I feel like I can do just as good with losing if I just use other tracking apps. Overall, it was an okay experience, but kind of expensive for what you get.

Logging food is not easy and why the three stars. You don’t have cup/tsp/tbs choices. It’s in grams. I’m not in Canada. If I add a food that’s missing and take the time to do it it’s never added. I just don’t log it now. Having to re-enter the same food over and over again and not have it show up on the Analysis is pointless and a waste of time. The food said you logged the mo should always show up whether you’re in breakfast lunch snack whatever. But they only show up if you were in the same category as you logged in the last time. And when I’m trying to put down a teaspoon but you do everything by grams then I need to go find the package and I need to see how many grams are in the servings then I Log the teaspoon when if you would have just had it by teaspoon tablespoon cups as a choice I wouldn’t be wasting so much time.
I don’t think I need to be a master of grams versus teaspoon teaspoon cup to be able to use them. Get my point ;) My coach is great. I resonate with her. She listens to me and she answers my questions and points out if she believes what I’m going to do may not be the best choice but she does it in a way that we’re a team. When I’m grocery shopping to find out how bad a food is I have to log it as I ate it to be over here to figure out if it fits in the green yellow or red greens. Pretty freaking easy to figure out it’s the yellow red. It should be nice if you could just scan and and it would show up but that might be a little too much to ask for I understand. I haven’t really had much success for help from support on the app. Not the email but on the app. I figured out how to make my Fitbit feed the steps I do in a day myself. I forget what support told me but it was just in a totally other universe than what the answer was.
Group I don’t even bother with it’s extremely dead. When someone makes a comment you shoot me all the way back up. It could be two weeks prior to see the comment which I probably don’t even care about and then I have to scan all the way down. It takes a while to get to the latest post which there are no new post. Groups are dead and I guess you can buy two groups and now there’s 3 1/2 gazillion people in one group.
The only people that keep reposting or maybe two or three people and there’s nothing really that people are posting that means anything. I mean yeah great. Somebody walked so many steps to burn so many calories. How is that helping my journey. Somebody posted whatever their Booper super Duke whatever goal is. How does that help my journey? I’m not learning. I’m not growing from that information. I know you’re probably trying to make these people excited to post it but it just clogs up the feed. I’m giving you honest feedback because you asked for it. I use auto text :) if some errors.

I recently met with a nutritionist and told her about Noom. She hadn’t heard of it. When I explained some of the plan’s strategies, she was very impressed. She said that what I was telling her are the same things she tells her patients! I’ve been on Noom for a month and have lost 4 lbs. it’s not a lot but it’s a good start! I’m learning how to eat “right” and have lasting strategies to keep making healthier choices.

I was really optimistic and hopeful in starting the Noom app. I had seen so many advertisements through my social channels and thought I would give this a try. While I’ve been happy with the education and psychology of the app I’m not impressed with the actual functions of the app and I truly expected more. For starters is inconvenient in logging food and wanting to see your analysis. You have to back out to the main screen each time instead of being able to easily toggle from logging your lunch and checking your analysis. I’ve also been disappointed in the amount of foods that ARE NOT found in Noom when trying to log. It makes it difficult to stay on track and on target when your food can not be found. I expected with an app costing on average $150 every 6 months there would be a robust database of food and I just don’t see that with Noom.
I’m also disappointed with the lack of options for logging. Many times I’m trying to log something in teaspoons or a 1/3 cup and those options are not available which makes my tracking inaccurate. Improving the measurements that you can select to log food would be helpful and it’s honestly something I expected. To be honest if I had the logging interface of the lose it app with the red, hello, green of the Noom app and the psychology of education it would be a pretty amazing app. For now I give it mediocre ratings and I’m unsure if I’ll renew another 6 months.

Weight loss app which focuses on the science and psychology behind helping people lose weight. I have been happy with my overall weight loss so far, but I have a long way to go. I hit a plateau and regained 11 pounds, and these are being relost very very slowly. Overall, I am fairly satisfied with this app. I do appreciate the obligation to question my own thoughts, as hopefully, this will help me lose weight and keep it off. I definitely feel and look better than when I started.

I would like to submit an honest review of my Noom experience. Things I love: Covered by my insurance, CBT articles, everything in an app, the concepts of individual and group coaching. Things that need improvement: More intuitive logging. I have to manually adjust the serving size of foods that I eat regularly when I have logged the same things at least 100 times by now. The calories and color of the items should easily display, for example the food item should show in the color that it is in Noom. There should be an option for face to face individual coaching, even if it is online. The nurse practitioner assigned to me at week one was a very obviously rushing me off of the call. That does not feel good when everything is brand new. And Noom brings up a lot of vulnerable things where quite honestly, I’ve needed a lot more support.
To pull in therapeutic aspects and then not offer connection and support is a huge loss and Miss for Noom. My coach, on average, takes at least 24 hours to respond to my questions- and that’s during normal business hours. I get it if evenings and weekends, there can’t be responsiveness, but during normal business hours, it should be more like text messages. The fact that there is such a delay does not bode well for a connection, and quite honestly, I just think it’s a waste of time to even engage with her at this point, because she is not responsive when I have needed it most.

I like Noom a lot, I like the stories and scripts they have you listen to on a daily basis (the psychology part). It is helpful, it’s like listening to someone validate all your challenges in your life revolving around food. It’s nice to hear ways to overcome these challenges and also that you’re not alone. There is a personal coach and a team coach which I like both aspects of, the team is like a social media platform where you can chat and comment and inspire each other, I really enjoy this because it's social media with a purpose.
The hard part like most diet platforms is counting your calories and logging your food. Noom does the counting for you. You just have to stick to your budget and manage the foods by color (the Noom system) different than any other calorie tracker I’ve used in the past. I like the color system a lot. It’s simple. Overall I give Noom a 7.5 out of 10. It is working for me. I do enjoy it but I do have off days where I can’t keep up with the daily routine of the stories, weighing in and logging food, but that’s okay, I always feel motivated to get back on track, which in the past with other diets I wasn’t able to do. I’m on week 8 and I’ve lost 13lbs. Noom is worth the money, give it a shot. I bet it works better for you than most things you may have tried in the past.

I started Noom 2 months ago and have lost 14lbs! Noom for me was not a diet, it was a lifestyle change and although the weight loss has been slow, it is REAL! Even if today I never opened my Noom app again (not going to happen…), I’ve learned things I will never unlearn. It has changed how I view food, weight, exercise and even sleep and stress. I would highly recommend Noom to anyone!

I’ve been following Noom for about a month. It hasn’t been easy changing my eating habits but the daily lessons are really helpful. They truly are helping me understand my relationship with food and why I was eating the way I did. Tracking my food in the different categories also helps me see when my days consists of more “red” foods than I should.

The programme is great and I love the lessons and learning about the psychology behind food. My critique would be that logging food is difficult:
- copy paste from day to day or onto other meal
- a detail of the analysis per meal
- a weekly overview for the colour coding of food
- quite a lot of food from Europe is not there and has to be inputted manually
- logging from the recipe onto the logging of meal rather than having to navigate through the app
I think all these features would really help me (and others) be organised about my food, plan better and make it less hassle so we stick to it.

When I first started Noom I loved it, because I could listen to my daily lessons while I got ready for my day. The audio lessons are no longer available and I’m very disappointed. I now struggle to get the reading in each day. I hope Noom changes this and has audio available for more lessons.

I’ve tried many many diets over the years and have never been able to stick to them or lose more than a couple pounds that I just end up gaining back. I never really had THAT much to lose, but now that my metabolism has slowed down with age and after a few heavy eating vacations and the pandemic, I had gained about 15 pounds and I knew I needed to really commit to doing something. I was skeptical about Noom because I already knew how to eat well, I just couldn’t seem to cut out the snacking. It was a little bit of a roller coaster in the beginning until my body adjusted to the changes I was making, but it has been a couple of months now and the weight is finally slowly starting to come off. I’ve lost 7 of the 15 pounds and still motivated to lose the rest. This is first time I’ve ever been able to stick with a diet plan for longer than a week or two and lose weight naturally. The psych tricks must really be working!

I was skeptical about starting Noom, I saw many advertisements about this program and considered signing up but didn’t. I went on vacation with a friend and she looked great! I started Noom on March 10, 2022. I have been very satisfied with this program so far. The daily tutorials and personalize coaching has been a game-changer for me. Then you add in the group texting and the ability to share success stories with one another makes this plan all the more rewarding. I’m not super impressed with the system. Noom has some good advice but I feel like it’s not different than a normal calorie counting app. I also don’t feel like the coaches are very effective. It’s the same question each week about what you’re going to work on but nothing about what we could do to improve. I also got a new phone and when I logged back into the app all my progress was deleted and I had to start back at zero. My coach was able to fast forward my lessons but everything else was gone and that sucked. Overall I think it’s a good idea but could use some fixes.

This is my third try with Noom. First time I only did two weeks, then I had a major operation so I did not continue. Second time I did about a month, it was great, lost weight, learned a lot, decided that I needed to save money and I could go on my own. Not as easy as I thought. Third time now and I’m all in. Things are going well, I like the program, the concept is helping me fine tune things. The group is great, pretty interactive. I am not completely sure how the personal coach is supposed to, I have little interaction and if I ask a question it's a week or so before I get a reply. I got better response from the Noom guides. Not sure how it’s supposed to go, she seems nice, but not sure what it should look like.

Noom is basically a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach to losing weight. It’s good in that the philosophy is more how to learn to eat healthy and in moderation with no off limit foods. Stripped down it consists of daily readings (15 min max), food logging, weighing yourself daily and a group chat component. The articles/readings are research based and they reference the studies to which they refer. You don’t have to do any of this but then what would be the point. You can easily find codes to get 2 free weeks so you can test drive the “app” first before beginning to pay. I put the word app in quotes because it is incredibly rudimentary from a tech perspective. There are other food logging apps out there that have much more functionality. The user interface side is clunky, not very robust, moving from one section to another is hardly seamless and there are some functions that don’t work well with iOS.
There is a tech support function that chats with you immediately if you have problems but they can’t do certain things. Your data does not exist on the cloud. I lost my phone for a bit, used another phone, and then when I got my original phone back their app didn’t sync up to where I was in the program but was back to where I had been on the original phone. In summary, it’s a good approach to developing healthy habits around eating, exercise and your emotional connection to those things. If you really work it, you can get good insight into your relationship to food and how to correct some dysfunctional behaviors that prevent us from getting healthy. On the negative side, it’s pretty basic technology.

I tried Noom a couple years ago and stopped it after a couple days. This is my second go around and I’m glad I gave it a second chance! It’s been really helpful to go through steps in their mini classes a day that go beyond nutritious foods and delves into the psychological of why we choose certain food. Their green, yellow and red system seems Intuitive and easy to read.

App loses track of meal count on a regular basis. I only use one device so it’s not lost by using more than one device as has been suggested. The inability to take the daily data on the app and use it usefully in a spreadsheet. Only the “coach” has access to the data and even then it is rudimentary at best. I have mine set on cheetah but we are at the pace of sloth at this time. When asking questions of the “coach” the responses are so general to be confusing and do not address the question asked. I.e. “how may I best improve my weight loss regimen to be more solid and forward moving? Response “ The sky is blue….” ??? One benefit has been the calorie counter but without being able to access the input data to put on spreadsheets and having the ability to look at it historically the true benefit is limited. There is probably an App out there that does the same thing and you CAN get the historical data.

I was so excited and hopeful when I started Noom 3 1/2 weeks ago. I look forward to the lessons every day as they are interesting and sometimes entertaining. I now weigh 1/2# more than when I started Noom. I am very disappointed to say the least. This might work for someone who eats bacon and eggs and hashbrowns for breakfast every day and has a lunch of hamburgers and french fries every day. But that is not me. I have always eaten fairly healthy although I have cut out a lot of sugar since starting Noom and I am happy for that because I am pre-diabetic. My stomach growls constantly, even if I wake up in the middle of the night. Am I not doing the program correctly? I feel that I am but I’m not getting any results. (I hope to be able to update my review in a few weeks and say that I am very pleased with Noom and that I have lost the targeted weight but I am skeptical at this point in time.)

It is just calorie counting. You tell me what foods have low calories and will keep me full longer…but it’s still calorie counting and feels like such a waste of money. I do like the coach service being included, and the daily readings were good for the first few days. It just isn’t realistic for a busy, self employed mom with picky children. Even the recipes provided when I mentioned my picky kids, my first thought was “who’s kids actually eat this stuff?” My kids would live off pasta and bread things if I let them. They’d sooner starve than eat vegetables.

There is so much that I love about Noom. Mostly it’s about the learning, because I’ve tried so many ‘things’ and nothing was really sustainable. Coach and group don’t really participate and don’t do much. The group chat is all over the place. It’s hard to follow. Coach asks so many questions but doesn’t really give me answers. I like the lessons ok. It’s a lot of money for this. I will probably cancel soon.

The calorie budget is awesome! I’m so much more aware of what I’m eating and the types and amount of foods I’ve chosen. I’ve realized foods I thought were healthy are actually red foods! I joined this app because of the outstanding reviews and I really thought it would help me. I learned a lot about green and reds food which is great and portions but everything else is just kind of common sense. Even with portioning and doing what Noom recommends I haven’t lost any weight. The program is good. I like the educational component. I am not a social media person, do not like the group chat. Logging everything you consume is helpful. The individual consultant is better than the group for me, but I don’t really need that either. For me just the classes, logging, caloric counting and the red, green, yellow categories.

The drop off of audio lessons led to a drop off in my engagement. Also some sort of organizing of the group chats would make the app much more usable. I also feel a lack of authentic connection with my coach which leaves the coaching superficial and disengaged.

Unlike many other programs, Noom doesn't leave you alone to look up low calorie foods and wander around reading random website stories about other people's experiences. With Noom, you focus on your own personal needs, habits and responses. The process is an incremental build up to better understanding of the ways you think about food, your choices and your goals. I have a long way to go, but with this I feel really supported and accepted in my need to do this at my own pace.

I love this program!!! It’s def a LOT of information but I’m adjusting. :) It does keep asking me to rate my coach? I do have a group coach.. but it’s not one on one and my Noom guides said they would set it up? I’m ok either way! But I can’t rate what I’m not using?! My group coach is lovely! My group is great! The biggest problem I had was waiting! Noom has taught me to trust the process and uncovered the process of weight loss and my behaviors. The scale does not trouble me as long as I am understanding the time it takes to get healthy and change my psyche about losing weight.

One of my biggest gripes is I’ve never really related to the group coaching aspect, I tend to end up in groups with few characteristics in common — a lot of retirees or people who don’t seem very serious. Folks who log vacuuming as exercise. Meanwhile, I go to personal training twice a week and attend a bunch of bootcamp style classes. It’s really hard to engage without feeling like a show off. And I’ve always felt we are encountering different struggles.
Goal specialists seem hit or miss, too. I’ve had one in the past who would text me every time I was slipping. My most recent coach didn’t even notice. The structure of the lessons are hard to read. I find myself skimming at times because the amount of activity on a daily basis doesn’t fit into my schedule. Reading articles, logging food, etc. Logging food is often real damn annoying. There are a lot of duplicates and the measures always seem a bit odd.

Noom was recommended by my doctor to get my weight under control. He said Noom helped him to lose 29 pounds by changing his relationship around food. We set a goal to lose 50 pounds in a year. I love this program. It’s relevant, concise, and something I look forward to doing everyday.

Finally, a program that looks at the psychology behind eating and our relationship to food. I love finding out why I do what I do and getting tips to adjust to my lifestyle. I am eating healthy and losing weight faster than I ever have. I love that I can still eat the foods I love (chocolate, chocolate, chocolate…) in moderation and not feel "guilty”. And I feel great. I am wearing my clothes better and have more energy when I exercise. And this isn’t just for now. I am looking forward to getting to my goal and making this program my life choice.

Coach is unable to help and apparently has no email for me to even send him the MyFitnessPal csv files so he can look at my food intake. The scanner does not get about 30 percent of my foods. The lessons would be great for someone who has never read a book but they are tedious and not worth my time.

I really think Noom is very good and great value for money. My only issue is that I changed phones mid program and all my data was lost so I have had to go back to the beginning which is frustrating. I have reported it but there is nothing to be done.

Noom has made it possible for me to turn knowledge into habits. Before starting Noom I made a pretty solid habit of daily exercise, but I knew I needed accountability on the food front. The calorie budget and water goals seemed daunting, but I’ve managed to stay within my food budget all but a few days and I always meet or exceed my water goals. I told my kids it’s like playing a health and fitness video game, only I have to lose to win.

I have been using Noom daily. I like how easy it is to track my food, water, weight and my steps are picked up from my Apple Watch. Being aware is the most helpful! The daily lessons are a good sources of motivation, trucks and tips and help keep me engaged. The one on one coaching and group provide support. Great app, well worth the price. Very satisfied.

Noom is helping me stay focused on a daily basis. It would be easier if I were alone. But I mainly cook for my family. I don’t really have the time or inclination to cook one meal for everyone else, and a separate meal for me. So learning to cook healthier in general is difficult, and that’s not really addressed so far.

I’ve been completing all of the Noom lessons, most of which I am aware of. I know I need to change my habits to reach my goals but nothing much has helped. My coach is very nice and is aware I know myself and tips well, she gave me one great tip. Other than that I’m just answering questions without any actual tangible things I can begin to do to meet my goal. I’m trying to stay optimistic and trusting the process but it’s already been one month and I’m only gaining weight.

The accountability factor is what is really working with Noom. I enjoy seeing my green foods increasing over the weeks, which is a significant change for me. Disappointment with Noom. It seems the hits just keep on coming. I feel furious that Noom is not clear on what it will and will not do for you. First of all the print is too small and too faint. I have complained about this constantly. It seems to me you could get your technicians to work on that and rectify that problem. If you have more than 111,000 older people you need to make the print darker and larger or at least enable the program to have that capacity for each of your customers to choose font size and type.
Number two I do not think I was ever told that the reading of the lessons would abruptly stop after a few weeks. Everybody knows scientifically it is better to hear the lessons and read along than to just read the lessons. You claim to be science-based but you were ignoring a vital component. Three. I asked my coach what I could do and she said if I went back to the beginning I would be able to listen to my lessons again so she reset it. Now I am in beginners' purgatory and I still cannot listen to the lessons. Do you not train your coaches? Do you keep both your employees and your customers in the dark? I cannot tell you how furious I am with Noom not being the program that you advertise yourself to be. You have so much potential. Shape up!

So far the NOOM program has me on track. Have lost & pounds after 6 weeks. Logging meals has been very effective in helping me be aware of what I eat so that I can eat smarter. The app is easy to use and there is sufficient feedback. The lessons are also helpful in helping me learn the underlying psychology of eating and providing strategies to overcome poor eating habits.

It is a good program but I have done nothing but gain weight since I’ve been on this program. I will be cancelling very soon. My coach has been helpful so I don’t think that is the issues. I have a really hard time with sugar eating and I feel like that was not hard pressed upon.

I like this app. I’m really starting to see my food choices and how I thought they weren’t bad but I could do better. Other apps counted my calories and my exercise but didn’t really show me why I may be making my choices. Now I have a better idea.

This is a new experience for me. I have never used an app for weight loss before. I like the daily lessons, the information is enlightening, so many things I did not know. Enjoy the daily thoughts and mind exercises. Logging food helps me think about what I eat. I also use the feature to scan bar codes when I shop. That is really handy! Using colors to categorize food types is interesting and also makes me think more about what I eat.

I have been on Noom now just over a month. I am 66 and have been in pretty good shape my whole life, but a few years ago I noticed in beach photos that I had put on a bit of weight around the middle. This disturbed me and I vowed to take it off. I tried various diets and lots of exercise, including iron man training and daily 30-50k cycling but, despite some success, could not get to my goal state. Since starting Noom I have seen steady progress and feel constantly motivated. I am down 8 pounds so far and I am confident I will lose the remaining 5 in a few weeks and keep it off. Thanks Noom!

Promises, promises and more promises. It seems that every weight loss program out there gets your attention by making promises that can’t be fulfilled to everyone. Oh, I am sure that there are those that are successful in losing weight the way you promise, but few and far between in numbers. Mind you I didn’t say there were not those that do. I just don’t happen to be one of those fortunate people. I have thoroughly enjoyed the education. My coach answers my post with questions back to me.?? I feel like a test subject at times. I am not a social media person. I really don’t care to share. Although, I will encourage. I spent 2 years getting 20 lbs off my body. I then went through some major medical issues and boom the weight was back due to inactivity. I am 73 and I didn’t want to spend the next 2 years struggling to get 20 lbs off. So I took a chance. I joined Noom. The weight is not coming off as I anticipated.

Noom does not meet international food standards. I carefully check the calories on my items and they are often incorrect in the counter. Fat free/sugar free options are higher in processed chemicals which are therefore more unhealthy for the body. There is a lack of decent recipes available especially for those with egg and seafood allergies/dislike. The guides seem computer generated and I hardly get responded to as I feel I am outside of the typical “elephant” or high processed diet human.
For what you get this is quite overpriced for someone like me who doesn’t fall into the American stereotype. I joined Noom as the ads promote a culture different to other programs, its calorie counting is like weight watchers and after a month I’ve lost only 1kg. I am under the calorie budget most days, I am a small eater naturally. Some RED foods here in Australia are more healthy choices. After the paid 2 month subscription I will not be renewing as my background as a clinical nurse has already prepared me for the “teachings”. I wouldn’t recommend for Australians.

I had been passively looking for weight loss help—I’m not a dieter. I know that in the long run, diets do not work. I’ve watched & listened to many “dieters” throughout my 74 years. I was ultimately looking for a program that can be sustainable throughout a lifetime. 2 years ago or so, I started seeing snippet ads for Noom on TV. The ads never disclosed what the program was all about but made me curious, so I looked Noom up online. To my surprise, it was a program that I thought I had been looking for, so I signed up for a 14 day free trial. WOW!!!! The perfect program for me. I ended up doing the 6 month plan after the free trial period. I was right. It is the perfect plan with NO taboos, only personal choices, great information & support. Noom is a way of life, not a quick fix program.

I started Noom in June. It is now March and I have lost almost 50 pounds (48-52 depending on the day). Am I happy that I found Noom. You bet. This program makes losing weight easy and helps you to learn things about yourself and your eating habits as well as how to chose a better way of eating. I have never found weight loss so effortless. I have lost all this weight despite taking 2 months off in the summer for travel, overeating at Thanksgiving and Christmas and even a 10 day cruise! Had I stuck with the plan during those times I am sure I would be close to my goal weight (lose 80 to 90 pounds) right now.
The nice thing about Zoom is it teaches you about calorie density. I once saw a program where they give you visual clues about what you can eat. You can have this whole plate of food, including a desert OR you can have one milkshake. I wish I had joined that program but Noom helps you learn the same thing. You learn there is no bad food...yes I have chocolate occasionally and my cookies, all within my plan. You learn how to balance your food intake. (I'm still learning to be better at that.) This helps you to realize, after watching the scale, that certain foods containing simple carbs are likely to cause a slight weight increase even if you stay within your calorie budget. You learn about your eating style and about weight loss and food myths. Zoom also gives you tricks to help you overcome some of your worst eating habits. (I am still dealing with fog eating but getting better. O popcorn, shall I ever learn to eat you without overeating?)
My daughter and daughter-in-law signed up for Zoom after I had lost around 40 pounds. I believe they are enjoying the results as well. The only downside I see to this program is you must have a smartphone to make it work. That can be annoying to us old people. Oh, and my phone can't track my steps unless I carry it all the time, which if you are wearing something without pockets can be annoying and I haven't found a way to add steps that are taken without my phone.

I started Noom because it best approximated what I was already doing for weight loss, but consolidated everything into one app, and I figured their educational materials were probably better than what I was finding on my own. I had also hit a plateau, and thought Noom could help. The educational commitment is easy to meet. The lessons are helpful most days. There have only been a few days out of the 3 months I’ve been doing it when the lessons were totally useless. The food logging is easy. It’s not as robust or accurate as FitBit or MyFitnessPal, but it’s good. The tone of the lessons is informative with some humor thrown in (which is usually awful), which gives the whole process a casual, approachable feel.
The focus is on eating foods with low-calorie density, which is good advice. They created a red/yellow/green food scheme, which may be very helpful to some people. I hate it, but that’s just me. The best aspect of the program is that it looks at health overall, and addresses the impact of stress and poor sleep on weight. It encourages exercise, but not as a mandatory component of weight loss. Overall, a very good program.

When I realized I was 90 days away from turning 70 years old, I set a goal to have my weight below 200# by March 13th. I had not been at this weight since I was 35 years old! Living in northern Michigan and working 10 hours a day did not make walking 10,000 steps a day possible. However, inspiration from the daily messages and making sure I ate the right foods at the right times in the right quantity allowed me to see 200.8 on the scale on March 13th!
YES, I gave myself the best BIRTHDAY PRESENT I have received in 35 years. Losing 27 lbs in 90 days accomplished my goal! Now I have moved the goal post to 190 as even at 6’3” my doctor says this is where I should be. I may now be 70, but I feel 50 years old! Knee pains and pains in general ARE GONE! No more daily doses of Advil! With the snow and Ice soon to be gone, I am looking forward to adding the 10,000 steps a day even though I lost the weight walking on average less than 2000 steps a day. I strongly recommend Noom to change your life!

I still can’t sync my Fitbit to the Noom app even after trying everything the staff suggested multiple times. I enter the miles I have walked under exercise (2.5-3 miles/day). I still have not been assigned a group which is ok except it keeps prompting me to share with the group and then says they are trying to assign me one.

I have completed almost 2 months with Noom. I am enjoying the daily learning & accountability. I have not experienced any weight loss yet which is very frustrating but my habits are slowly changing in a positive way and I am excited about that :).

I signed up for the 30 day free trial, cancelled appx 2-3 weeks in. I found it suffocating with info, emails, data entry, etc., was charged for the first month. Tried to request my money back. No response. Definitely not free.

I started using Noom several months ago. I was diligent and used the app as intended and lost 18lbs. Then I fell off and it’s been hit and miss for 3 months. I traveled and celebrated a big birthday…the scale was not my friend. I have made the decision to get back at it…starting today. It works if you follow the plan.

I’ve been using Noom for a good amount of time now. I’ve made lots of changes to my diet, I’ve gotten a personal trainer and I’m seeing no results. I believe the timeline of weight loss Noom projected was a tactic to get you to not cancel the free trial.

I really didn’t think I would love the Noom program as much as I have. It motivates me every morning. One day I didn’t read my motivations until bedtime and I struggled that day. My one on one coach Cara is FABULOUS!!! Well worth the money!

I’ve been on the Noom program for five weeks and the difference is amazing! I’ve dropped about 17 pounds and many of the cravings and habits (sweet tooth). I’ve created in my life are losing their hold on me. I’ve begun looking at food in a totally different light. I still have a ways to go but, I am eagerly looking forward to what’s in store.

This is the program for me! Noom is a full scale program that teaches me from all angles, physical, mental. I’ve done other programs and always felt there was something missing, like the why am I overweight? Why do I have a sweet tooth and how to change behaviours! That’s the key. I wanted a weight loss program that was sustainable. I have tried other programs that either used pills, severe calorie restriction. I was able to lose weight but I was not able to keep it off. Using psychology and REAL food I am learning portion control, which food choices are best for me and how staying active helps me mentally and physically. Noom is definitely a plan for me.

I’ve gotta say I was skeptical as I’ve done calorie counting many times and less success than other fad diets like keto. However since I started the program 55 days ago I’ve lost 22lbs. Changed my relationship to food, and truly enjoy what I eat today. I’m not filled with shame when I splurge, and don’t feel deprived when I’m doing well. I don’t panic when my weight stalls or moves up a tick. I have the confidence that if I keep going in the same direction I can meet my goal.

Noom has really helped me understand food and dieting better. I am very happy with the app and my coach. I wouldn’t have used the service if a friend hadn’t paid for it, however. It is much more than I can justify throwing down at once, though when you break it down by month it’s pretty reasonable.

I wish I was writing a review that reported hearts and flowers for Noom. I was super excited about Noom and the psychological aspect to address weight loss and didn’t bat an eye at paying for the service. I was hopeful for a quality educated approach and app for my iPhone. What I have experienced is extreme disappointment. I want to start by saying that the lessons are fabulous and extremely helpful however the phone app is so extremely disappointing. When entering meals I have to type in a word go to my recipes and then go back to search to hopefully find what I’m looking for. When I use the scanner and then look at the packaging the numbers are so far off I have stopped using this resource because I find it useless.
I was invited to join Noom circles but I can’t accept the terms and conditions so I can’t join. Basically I paid for a subscription to something that was supposed to be all encompassing and ended up being 80% useless. I have reached out to my coach and support and they have been kind but basically useless. I have had so many frustrations that I was provided a discount on the original fee but what I really want is to see the app working better.

Noom has been so fun and interesting. I’ve lost weight through Profile By Sanford, but hit a major plateau and it was hard for them to help. With Noom, I’ve beaten that plateau. I’m at 205! I haven’t been at that for a long time. I have another 20 pounds to go and I know I’ll get there. My wife is doing Noom to, so it’s easier to make food decisions when we are doing it together. Overall, Noom is amazing and I never looked at losing weight based on physiology. I’m seeing food and the world differently. Thank to everyone at Noom! I appreciate everything you guys do!

I keep having to enter new foods or correct what Noom has listed because they are wrong. This adds more stress which causes me not to track my food and just eat more. Things listed “green” are yellow so it’s like a good bait and switch.

This has been one of the best experiences I’ve had losing weight, learning about my body and mind and maintaining motivation. Compared to other programs, the focus is on LEARNING! Taking the time to really understand how I think about food is finally helping me overcome stress eating and other trigger eating habits. I only have three goals: Learn, track my food and track my water. It’s simple and fits nicely into my hectic life. Unlike other programs, I can choose not to be a part of their social media platform. Comparing myself to others’ accomplishments has been a problem in the past so I’m grateful that my only competition is myself! Loving all the insights. Weight loss is only part of the journey. I read my Noom lessons every morning and it feels like a little bit of therapy everyday. Progress for me has been slower on weight loss but steady on positive mindset changes which is really powerful. I know when I do get to my target weight I will stay there because my ‘head’ and habits have shifted and willpower is no longer required to stay healthy… It’s just me! ❤️

I really love the education I am receiving. I am learning actions that will benefit me in different areas of my life. By changing eating habits I can get healthier. I have lost 10.5 lbs in 6 weeks but not like ever before. The scale plays a different role this time. I am not a person to use the group chat but see its value for others. I am a family doctor and have referred patients for many years to various programs for weight control. Hi, it’s slow going right now but it’s getting better. Aside from it costing so much I have been making these meals usually just a breakfast, lunch or dinner. Or all 3 plus snacks once in a while. The thing that is kind of frustrating is I think you should have a way to break down the recipes to just one serving. I live alone and some of the recipes are for four and six servings and I don’t know how to break it into doable serving for just me. That is a real problem for me.

With both my babies I put on 10 pounds that just stayed on, and nothing I did really changed that, for about 6 years. Finally I was ready for a change, and I found Noom after a friend had seen success with it. So far I’ve lost 15 pounds following the noom program, and I feel like the lifestyle change is actually easier than what I was doing before. Thanks to all the psych tricks and smaller goals with intermittent rewards, I feel happier and healthier in my body and mind than I have maybe anytime in my life, and even more surprisingly, I feel equipped to keep up these new ways indefinitely. The program content is great. The problem is that I was supposed to get put into a group, and that hasn’t happened weeks in. There are a number of items that I am supposed to reporting to a group that I don’t have. I also have only heard from my coach once. Pretty disappointed in unfulfilled promises.

I enjoy the Noom app. However logging food is rather frustrating. Many times there are several items of the same food but are listed as both yellow and red foods. This is confusing because if I log it has a Yellow food when it’s really a red food that could be messing up my calorie intake for the day.

While the lessons are great and give me a lot to work on, the coaching and food logging leave a lot to be desired. My coach Andy has done Zero to help me! He emails me 1-2 times a week with, “How are you.” and “good to hear”. Early on he asked me a few questions but then never responded to my questions. Not sure if this is part of my fees, but not worth it! Also, quite a few issues with food accuracy and inconsistency. I have submitted several corrections and others I have just looked past.

The app keeps prompting me about a group. I had one the first time through Noom and have yet to have one this time. My coach does not seem to know my story and very generic coaching. I would appreciate the app having access to the food library to check items without it being Inside the log.

It’s been a positive experience overall and I’ve successfully lost weight, but I’d like you to add Pickleball as an exercise. It’s the fastest growing sport for adults in this country. Also, when reading all the articles, why do you put photos of cupcakes at the top? To torture us?

Noom has changed my outlook on food and “dieting”. On Noom, I’m not dieting. I’m getting healthy- mentally, emotionally and physically. My scale anxiety is pretty much non existent, the group coaches are very responsive, the other group members are very encouraging. Overall, it’s been an amazing experience and I highly recommend.

It would be great to be able to log multiple types of meals at one time without having to go back out and select “lunch” or “dinner” etc. Many times I will log breakfast and lunch at the same time and it could expedite the process to be able to do it all at once.

The psychology combined with individual and group support is amazing. That and it’s like a video game, which is totally addictive. I’m motivated to keep going even after a bad day or two. I have tried so many times over the years to lose weight - and each time I would muster my self control, lose a bit of weight and then promptly lose motivation after the first setback. With Noom, things feel very different. The psychology behind eating, overeating and adopting new healthier habits is making me feel much more mindful, optimistic and knowledgeable. I started Noom to shed some weight. I had gained 30+ pounds over the past few years and I was beginning to get desperate. I was fasting and working and and generally watching what I was eating and lost 0 ounces. After meeting with a diet nutritionist and determining that $500 a month was beyond my budget, I began exploring options. Noom popped up and I remembered some of the tv commercials I had seen about it. I went to the website and it made sense. I signed up and started immediately with a five month subscription. I figured I will do exactly like they say and if I hit my big picture goal I would be ecstatic. If I even got close I would be satisfied. 40 pounds in 5 months seemed like a reach but I was willing.
A month later I am down 11 pounds eating more in a day than I was eating in four fasting. I have energy and I am amazed at how just doing the daily lessons, weighing in daily, and logging my food has had an impact. I would not call this a diet plan. I would call it a new way to approach nutrition. A lot of common sense we all know but Noom puts it together, provides support, and guides you through a successful attempt at getting your weight, your mind, and your effort in alignment. I recommended it to a friend and he is having success and he is down 16 pounds in two weeks!! We have been a support system between ourselves encouraging and checking in one another each day and enjoying our journey to healthy weights and healthy mental approaches.

This concept this a great reminder that messing up is not the end of the world. Getting back on the horse again is essential. You have to keep your new way of eating manageable and reasonable. The key for me seems to be weighing in each morning. It makes me more mindful of my eating for the day.

Informative, helpful and great community. I have learned a lot about how to better achieve and sustain the goals I have for a healthier life. The Zoom coaches and community are attentive and supportive and the Zoom experts approach weight loss in a effective way.

While Noom may be good about tracking calories and various psychology tips, their mobile app leaves a significant amount to be desired.
First, I use a Samsung smartwatch. The Noom app does not sync with the Samsung Health app, so all my steps and workouts had to be manually entered. That wouldn't have been so bad, except the Noom App kept erasing all the steps I entered every few days.
Second, support of the app is poor at best. When I reported the above problem, they had me delete all the data in the app and all the cache. Now I'm pretty tech savvy, so I knew while this was a short term correction, it wouldn't last. Sure enough about 2 weeks after I did as they requested, it started erasing my steps again.
Third, the Noom app forces you into a group. The Group Coach is continually sending info about various add-on programs and you CANNOT PREVENT THESE NOTIFICATIONS. I again contacted support, only to be told how to turn off notifications (which I had already done). When I explained I was still getting them, they had no idea how to turn them off.
Finally, the Noom app regularly hangs up at least once a day. I needed to force it closed, then restart it to get it to work.
I hung in there for several weeks, but have now cancelled my subscription. Sure enough, I'm getting repeated notifications from the Noom Coach Bot that they are sorry to see me go. Next step is to send a note to the CEO, which they freely encourage you to do. I doubt it will make a difference. Oh BTW, I am retired CIO (Chief Information Officer). If I sent out an app of this quality to my constituents, I would have been fired.

I think the lessons are great and I really enjoy them. I truly think everything else is subpar. The food logging is inaccurate and not user friendly. There are much better apps out there specifically for food tracking that are free and much more advanced. It’s very disappointing. The “coach” is just automated responses that are very few and far between. Again, super disappointed. Overall, I am enjoying the learning aspect of it and they do have good info. Not sure I would recommend or even sign up had I known how the rest of the program and app operated.

I love how this is psychology based. I’ve struggled with food and weight since 4th grade, so my problem is mostly mental and partially physical. I have learned a lot about myself and recommend this product! The meal schedule and workout plan didn’t work for me and wasn’t what helps me personally, but the program is great!

The food tracker is quite sophisticated, better than any other I’ve used. And tracking increases my focus. I haven’t really lost more than a pound or two but at age 70 I am not surprised. I am hoping to change how I think and that seems to be happening. The connection with others isn’t working out but I’m ok with that, too.

I have been thoroughly impressed with Noom thus far. I’ve been on the program for 2 months now and have had great success. They don't expect you to change everything at once, in fact they encourage you not to because then you’ll get overwhelmed and it won’t be lasting change. I’m learning some helpful things, you get the support of a one on one coach and a group. It’s a recipe for success. They have every resource available you could want, from recipes to exercise and meal tracker to information on weight loss. Very highly recommend!

It’s been an awesome 11 months with Noom. I haven’t reached my goal yet, but I’ve dropped over 45 lbs. I have inspired at least 2-3 others, who have also joined Noom. I love the way I look and feel. As of today I have 34 lbs. to go to reach my goal. I seem to have gotten stuck in the 230s. Thank you for helping me get healthier!

When I’m home I do really well. I travel for my job and stay with friends so I eat what they eat. I’m learning to bring my snacks and Breakfast but I’m so busy that it's hard for lunch and dinner. I’m learning every trip a few more things I can do to at least not gain the weight that I’ve lost. The stress free lessons have helped a lot. Thank You!

I felt out of control with sweets since starting a new job where I was preparing treats every other day for the elders where I work. I had gained 20lbs since Covid and knew I needed help. About 7 years ago I lost weight with OA (overeaters anonymous) but didn’t like the program itself. I heard about Noom on one of my favorite podcasts (Radiolab?) and when an ad popped up online I clicked on it.
At first I hesitated because of the cost, but I finally decided to try the 2-week trial. Even then it took me a few days to really commit. The readings were interesting, educational, and funny, and by the second week I was working the program and knew I would go the distance. I’m starting my 7th week now and am feeling confident in attaining my goal weight, and a better more sustainable relationship with food. I’ve already learned a lot about myself -why and when I eat, how my body works and how I can be more attuned to it. I especially like the daily record-keeping as it helps me to track my progress and study what’s happening over time. The support of Noom guides and their ready responses is a big plus. Interactive is good for me. Feeling I’m not alone. The Noom circles are a larger support group of fellow Noomers and I enjoy seeing how other newbies like myself are faring.

I have been a Noom participant/subscriber for 60 days and the experience has been awesome, terrific. My goal was to change my habits so I could lose weight and then maintain that weight for many years. Fad diets or extreme changes have not worked for me. Noom does. Bonus: I have learned an incredible amount on this journey so far. Psychology, self awareness, science, mindfulness, meditation, recipes, strategies, how to create/change habits. Exceeds my expectations. Personal support as well.

Noom is a very well-designed app. Really like visual analysis of red, green and yellow calories per day. Would like to be able to add interim goals on weight loss chart to see different trajectories over time. Maybe add even more visuals to accompany information (infographics, charts etc). This is my second time going through Noom and this time I am using 1-1 coaching. I love the reflective questions she asks to get to the nitty-gritty of why I think and do what I do around food. As it’s targeted to me, not the general group, it generates more thought about my triggers and general relationship to food.

I have been overweight for much of my adult life and with Noom I have heard ‘new’ terms describing the things that have sabotage my efforts to lose weight in the past, like ‘elephant’. The coaches, the group and individual coach have been very supportive. It is a little disappointing that many in the group are still very quiet and have yet posted anything. At this point in my Noom journey motivation is now becoming the ‘biggest’ thing. I have take notes from the lessons and have posted those note where I can see them so that is a help with motivation. I would suggest a few things for motivation that should be incorporated into the program. Creating posters or at least paper size inspirational quotes or saying that can be displayed on triggers points like pantry door or refrigerator door to prevent the elephant from taking over. Also have us look at mirrors when we are letting the elephant at least try to take over.

Noom has an approach that is encouraging thoughtful and many times inspiring. Very helpful to think about food bad eating differently. Love the ease of using the app and all the extras (coaches, workout guides, recipes) that go with it. I’ve made significant strides in just 4 weeks.

I have really been enjoying Noom. I thoroughly enjoy the articles, reading them every morning. I feel accountable to myself but with additional support! I have never had success with dieting, this is a wonderful supportive way to achieve your weight goal.
