I had a great experience, it was an easy process and they delivered on their promises. My hearing aids are working wonderfully. The hearing aids were waiting at the audiologist and she was very helpful. She even said I got a great deal on my hearing aids.

I recently realized that I needed hearing aids. I read about Hear.com and decided to check in with them. They provided me with a lot of information, but I wasn’t ready at that time to make a purchase. Hear.com was very patient over three months and contacted me once in a while to follow up. They were not pushy at all. They only wanted to provide me with information for my health and hearing. I was so impressed that I decided to make a purchase. After you make a purchase, they follow up with you, and they make sure you know how to work everything and overall an outstanding company to work with. I could not ask for a better experience. Truly, I would recommend Hear.com for anyone seeking hearing aids for any type of hearing loss.

I didn't think I needed hearing aids in the first place. So that was a questionable situation. I had a hearing test given to me once when I was over at Costco, and they said it was marginal. So, I didn’t do anything. When I went to Hear.com, I got hearing aids, paid for them and used them. Ron, the audiologist, was very capable and friendly but all business. He didn't waste any time but he did it in a very polite way. You didn't feel like you're getting the bum's rush. We had extensive testing before he recommended what he did. There is a program for setting volume and the guy showed me a way to get into my phone to get to it very quickly. Now, for whatever reason, I can't find that secret. So, I have to go to the app itself. I get there and I get it set to where I wanted. It seems to me though, at times, I hear a bit of a static in it.
I lost the hearing aids. I put them someplace and I haven't been able to find them so I had to replace them. But I'm not sure the ones I have now are as good as the ones I had before. They should be the same. In any event, I'm pleased with the experience. I would recommend Hear.com. Ron just retired and I met the new doctor who was taking over. A tall, good looking young man compared to myself. He seemed he'll do just fine and if I have any questions, I won't hesitate to go back to him. I was very pleased with the customer service. It was easy to get in and out and always felt like I got quality service.
Hi Patrick! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us an online review. We sincerely appreciate the positive feedback about our services as well as the local provider we recommended for you. I am sorry to hear that you lost your hearing aids but I am happy to know you were able to replace them. Please know, that your replacements are the same hearing aids that you were wearing. If you are experiencing any issues, I would encourage you to schedule an appointment with your provider to look further into. Also, please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you need anything. My hearing was impaired. I wasn't deaf but I used to have a problem in a room where there was a lot of background noise. So, I went to Hear.com two years ago. I have vertigo and the young lady who did my testing said that the hearing aid was not gonna work for me. It was probably gonna make my vertigo worse. And to some degree, she was right. This device is almost like an amplifier. It enhances my hearing of someone talking to me, but it does the same thing with all the background noise, especially high-pitched noises. I was getting ready to call the gentleman here in Rhode Island who set me up with these to see if I could get that adjusted. I work in the manufacturing business and that kind of shrill, constant noise that machinery makes drills right through my head. The 30 days have already passed but I’m not sure that that lady wasn’t right.
A year later, someone called me back and said that that diagnosis was not correct. The device should be okay for me. I had them for about a month and I was breaking them in a little bit at a time, at home, first week, couple hours a day, next week. And by the time the month was over, I was very comfortable with them in my home environment and around my family. About 30 days ago, not even, I came back to the factory. I was working and realized that perhaps the amplification was not the correct thing. Also, I have no control. There are other ones that you can control things through your cell phone. But the ones that I have, I can’t. Or I don’t know if I can. I don’t have software to do it. That was one of the questions I was gonna ask this gentleman.
I have the hearing aid where one length goes completely into the inner ear canal. The right hand one is red and the left hand one is blue. Hear.com tried to send me some parts for it three times and they keep sending the wrong part. So, I don't know if the order had the wrong nomenclature on it. But I finally took a picture of it, sent it to Tiffany, the rep, but I haven't heard from her in the last couple of weeks. I’m wondering if the order that was written was not the same as the hearing aids that came in. When I went to have them put in, I get there and the guys looks at them, looks at me, looks at the order and said that those weren’t the right hearing aids. So, he sent them back. Two weeks later, they sent the hearing aids again and this time, they were the right ones. So it might be some sort of paperwork glitch where they think I have one thing, but I have something else.
Tiffany did a fantastic job. She was on the phone constantly and made sure the appointment did what it was supposed to do. Then, when the wrong hearing aids came in, she chased it down and got everything fixed. The last thing is, I’m waiting for them to send me caps because one of them is torn. So, I need those caps and hopefully, they come in this coming week.
For your hearing aids, please make sure you have the Horizon app downloaded to your phone. This is where you can make the needed adjustments. I have emailed you the user guide so you can learn a little bit more about your devices. Additionally, I am having my team send you more domes. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you need anything. Happy hearing! - Sami, Customer Success Team

Hear.com has done well. I don't wear my hearing aids all the time, but they are good. I had to go back and get them to adjust them in case one was too loud. I don't wear them to work because they're too loud because of the equipment all around. It makes them really loud. So, I usually wear them when I’m not working or over the weekend when I’m going somewhere. I wish I had the ones that did a lot more with the Bluetooth. The one I have has Bluetooth, but it's just only through my phone that I can turn them up or down.

I was looking for something that's less expensive than going through an audiologist, and some other people that I know have had success online, so I thought I'd give Hear.com a try. When they sent me the whole kit with the virtual tablet and all of that, it felt like I was in a doctor's office, only I was at home. Also, the cost of both the hearing aids was almost half of what I would have had to spend if I'd gone to an audiologist and been referred by him.
My hearing aids are not conspicuous at all. Most people don't even know I have them on. So far, I've had no trouble with them. I love the enhancement that I can do on my phone. I've used that a lot, especially in crowds, and in one-on-one conversations in restaurants. So, I've been very satisfied with them. I'm glad I did it. I wear them every day. I'm a happy camper. I would recommend Hear.com to people.
My constituents are kind of amazed that I even have hearing aids because I don't tell them, but I do say that I got them online, and then I mentioned Hear.com. The feedback I get from them is amazing. The appointments with the company were right on time and if there was a scheduling concern, they let me know ahead of time. Valerie, the audiologist, was very good. We have a very nice, professional relationship. I felt very confident, as far as the medical advice and the attention she gave me to be sure I knew how to use the hearing aids, what to do to clean him, and all those things. It was very thorough.

Ron, the gentleman who fitted me with the hearing aids was very helpful. He explained how they work, how to put them in properly, how to use the Signia App, and he answered any questions I had. I also went back a week later just to make sure that I was comfortable with them and making sure that they were working well. I used the Hear.com app to help give me info about what to expect and any problems that came up. It was very helpful too, however it quit giving me prompts after the 20th day. I am very happy with my hearing aids!

Was convinced to drop Costco hearing aids and go with Hear.com. I have been back 5 times for adjustments and new aids and still can't hear out of one ear. Have spent many thousands of dollars and would warn everyone to stay away. Our customer service rep (Pat) keeps kicking the can down the road and it has literally been months since I can hear out of both ears. Would rate them less than 1 if I could. Caveat Emptor. Lois **

My hearing was not the greatest. My hearing loss was all sound connected with human speech, so a lot of it was muffled. I had to say, “What?” a lot. I can hear things squeaking or car engines but the human speech is beyond me. If there's too much noise in the room, I can't distinguish where sound comes from. But it's all better now that I have the hearing aids. I got Hear.com’s in-ear hearing aids. They're a little bit larger than the ones I had before but they are the Bluetooth kind. The only thing I have a problem with is when I open another app on my phone, literally, all sound goes dead for a second or two. I'm still figuring out how to adjust it when I can. I used to have different settings for different places but because it doesn't automatically switch over, sometimes I just let it go with a general setting.
The customer support has been great. For the first four months, I saw the rep every 30 days and my next appointment isn't until August. She gave me two small packages of batteries. One of the drawbacks is because the hearing aid’s a Bluetooth, the batteries tend to wear out a lot quicker but I still haven't had to buy a package of batteries on my own yet. With having the hearing aids, I don't annoy people by saying, “What?” anymore. My kids certainly enjoy that. At this point, because of what I do for a living, it makes it so much easier. I work for a substance abuse facility for adolescents. It makes it a lot easier to understand what's going on around me. I'm not losing nearly as much sound as I was in the past without the hearing aids.

I had an iPhone and last year’s hearing aid model was compatible with Bluetooth for iPhones. This year, it was compatible for all smartphones. But the $6,000 price was a lot more out of my range, where last year's model was half the price, which was around 3,000. Even with financing or funding, I didn't have $3,000 for the hearing aids. But we were able to obtain financing and get all of that. If I was talking on the phone, I would have to hold the phone in my left hand up against the left side my head. Because if I was holding it with my right hand up there, I couldn't hear out of that right ear. So, that doesn't seem like a huge problem for most people because most people are right-handed, but I'm left-handed. So, if I'm having to hold the phone up to my left ear to talk, then I can't multitask because I'm left-handed. So, that made a huge difference.
Once I got the hearing aids, I'm able to hear on a normal phone. I could hold it up to my right ear and still hear it. But if they're calling my cell phone, I just have my earbuds in and as long as I have my phone close enough to me, I can be hands-free talking. I actually don't need my AirPods anymore because I have my hearing aids. So, talking on the phone, I can just go right through my hearing aid. Even in my car, directions and stuff through Siri goes right into my hearing aids into my head. Siri is connected with the iPhone and you go into accessibility and there are hearing devices. So, any sound from my phone will go directly into my hearing aids if I'm wearing them.
At first, I was hearing my hair move with the hearing aids. I was hearing everything but it's gotten better. And now, if I'm doubting whether my hearing aids are loud enough or even working or whatever, I will reach back and wrestle my hair and I'll hear it. But just naturally moving it, I'm not hearing my hair moves like I did right at first. Usually, I wear my hearing aids at the house but when I first get up and I'm showering, and I'm doing all the things, I don't. I usually reach out to Rebecca, the rep, if I have any questions and she gets back to me quickly. We haven't talked in a little bit but I've not had any problems. I have her number and I can message her, and I also have the Hear.com app on my phone and there's stuff that I can use. It still sends me updates every day of my hearing journey that I can do. I did it right at first but I've not done much with it.
I work a 12-hour shift and if I put my hearing aids in in the morning, they don't normally last all the way through the night if I'm working all night because I don't get home till 7:30 AM. So, usually, if I've had for almost 24 hours, a lot of times, it's giving me a little musical thing telling me that it's starting to run lower. I can be at work and I can watch a video from YouTube or whatever on my phone without having AirPods in so nobody knows that I'm listening to anything. They know that I have hearing aids. I'm a NICU nurse and we have an hour and a half before the next feeding time. But I can do things and just be listening in my ears and I'm not having to stop what I'm doing and get my AirPods and put them in my ear. It goes right to it.
When I went to the actual appointment to get the hearing aids through Hear.com. I was telling the rep that I’m a nurse and I use a stethoscope. I asked how I was going to be able to use a stethoscope with my hearing aids. So, the short answer was I can't. So, if I am using a normal stethoscope, I have to at least pop one of my hearing aids out. And usually, it's my left ear, and I'll put it in that ear and just listen through that ear. But there is some hearing loss in that side, so it's not the best option. But there is a company called Stemoscope and they have a little disc like a stethoscope and it Bluetooths right into either hearing aids.
I got the regular Stemoscope through Amazon for about 69 bucks. I can hear lung sounds and heart rates good. So, I use the basic on what I kinda needed to do and that's what I use right now. I pre-ordered Stemoscope Pro that is approved for medical use and I should get it in June. I've been very happy with the hearing aids and the whole thing with the stethoscope was the only thing, where I’m wondering how I was going to be able to do that.

The aids I was supplied work fine but there was no discussion of other models and their characteristics. I would liked to have discussed various models available.

Hear.com has top-rated customer service. Ryan kept in touch with me all through the first part of it which made me feel good that I was important. The experience is very good for a first time user but for someone who has had hearing aids before, it was kind of repetitious. They go through the 30 days thing and each day, they try to explain something to you. For someone who has already had hearing aids for several years, I already knew all of that.
These hearing aids have definitely helped me. They are much higher quality than what I had before. There are a couple of people here in the park that I'm going to be approaching before too long to try to convince them to get in touch with Hear.com about their hearing aids. The only issue that I have is I have an Android phone, and it is not able to interact with all of the possibilities of the hearing aid itself.

Started out good, had a problem with hearing aid and called Clyde, he sent me a new pair and I returned the others with no problem. I started experiencing problems with this set and called Hear.com and they then tell me that they don’t fix anything that they would send me to a provider for them to fix. Talked to a guy named Tom that was not Clyde, then another guy called me and tells me that they won’t replace them. They are still under warranty but will not replace them. 4500.00 hearing aids that only lasted 2 years, I would strongly recommend doing business with a local business not hear.com because they get your money and mislead you about service and warranties.

I got the one with the little wire that comes out that’s on top of the ear. I have an app on my phone where I can turn them up and down or set the direction on the hearing. If I want to close out the noise in the back, I can set it to the front or to the side. I can adjust the treble and the bass. It's cool. I hear things I haven't heard in a long time.

I came across Hear.com and it sounded good. I checked to see if I qualified and I did. It's been a good experience. The rep, Stan, was very pleasant, helpful, and personable. The cost of the hearing aids is plenty high but it’s worth it. I had a discussion with my 87-year-old father yesterday. He has had hearing aids for years and he said I could get hearing aids cheaper online. But you get what you pay for. I'm impressed with the technology of Hear.com. The cheaper ones probably don't have quite the technology.
I like the Bluetooth on my phone. That way, I still have two hands free driving down the road and just continue to do stuff with my hands. Also, I hear a lot better on the top of my head instead of out of one ear. My wife and I talk a lot now and she used to repeat herself a lot. It wasn’t that I couldn’t hear her. I couldn’t understand her because I was listening to the top end. Now, my wife and I get along a lot better. She hasn’t had to repeat hardly anything. I hear her and I like that. There’s a waterfall and a pool out by our balcony and when I come home, I sit down and I hear some of those pleasant sounds that I haven’t heard for years.

I've been wearing hearing aids for a few years now. I had the wrap around ones that used the little batteries. Over time, the cost of the batteries added up as they needed to be replace about every 4/5 days. Sound quality was average at best. My first rechargeable hearing aids, were okay, again sound quality was average at best. Always had problems with the recharger, went back and forth with the company several times, after two years the hearing aids wouldn't charge anymore.
Company wanted to charge me a couple of thousand dollars to replace the aids. About that time, I saw the ad for these hearing aids developed in Germany and knowing the quality of German engineering, I contacted Hear.Com to test them out. I couldn't be happier. Super easy to charge, sound quality is superb. I can now clearly hear and understand human voice and the outdoor sounds i.e. birds chirping... Based on previous hearing aid experiences, these hearing aids are the best, you can't go wrong and you will be amazed at the quality of sound.

I purchased my hearing aids in November of 2020. You are given a 45 day trial to return them, which is great when it comes to style, if the fit is comfortable, etc. My problem however, is shortly after the 45 day period, my $6,000 hearing aids began to stop working. They have been sent back to the manufacturer 4 times in less than a year, only to continue to malfunction. I have tried to work with Hear.com to get new ones or any help at all and I've been told to just hang tight and "ride it out" until these are paid for. I can't "ride it out", functioning hearing aids are needed for my everyday life, and I'm paying quite a large sum of money for awful hearing aids that don't work and am getting no help at all in this. I never asked for a refund, only help getting different ones. I was also pushed into getting these specific Signia hearing aids by the sales department. Be very wary working with the company.
Hi Kelly. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We do advertise our 45-day trial as no-risk meaning you are able to return your hearing aids for a full refund within those days. We have done many studies that have shown that 45 days is the right amount of time for our customer's brains to adjust to life with hearing aids. I do understand that you have had difficulty with your devices and have had to send them back for repair multiple times. They were sent out on 5/28/21 and 8/13/21 where the issues were fixed each time. Then they were recently sent back on 10/29/21 where a rapid exchange took place. This means you received a new set of devices. After the last pair were sent back to the manufacturer, a diagnostic test was run. It was found that there was excessive wax and moisture build-up in the devices. With hearing aids, general maintenance is needed to keep them in good working condition. Hearing aids are microcomputers and when they are in environments with moisture it can potentially cause issues. Also with ear wax build-up, this can also cause them to stop working. Changing domes and wax filters on a semi-regular basis is a simple solution to prevent this from happening.
I do apologize for the negative experience you have had but please know we have been doing everything in our power to help you and your devices to perfect working condition. We understand that hearing aids are not only a lifestyle adjustment but also an investment and we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you have any further questions or concerns, please reach out to us!

One of Hear.com's employees that contacted me explained how everything worked and for some reason, I felt like I needed to hear better. So, I gave it a try with the 45-day trial, no obligation. Then they sent me to Discount Hearing there in Pharr. After going through the procedure, getting my hearing aids, and noticing the difference, I realized that I was a professional lip reader because my students were wearing masks and I couldn't hear or understand what they were saying unless they removed their masks. So now, I can hear pretty good. I got the Signia model and it has the different settings for different size rooms. I still don't understand why sometimes if I'm listening to Pandora or if I get a phone call that I only hear it in one ear, not stereo. But the Bluetooth is awesome because if I'm at a meeting and the phone rings, then I can excuse myself and I don't really have to draw the phone to my ear to hear.
Hear.com's reps were awesome. The gentleman was very thorough and as soon as I sent feedback, I received a phone call from the people in Pharr. And I was able to go over there and get my filters replaced. I also got a new dome for my left ear because I was having some issues with that. I didn't expect this type of service and I'm really pleased that there's so much follow-up. With my hearing aids, I'm more confident. Before, I would answer people with off the wall answers because I didn't understand the question since I didn't hear it all, and I get those funny looks. But now, I can hear them well. If I can't, I ask them to repeat themselves or I'll turn up the volume and I can hear really well, then I can answer questions without going off the wall.

I like what I've seen in the technology they have in the hearing aids of Hear.com. The Bluetooth, I find clarity. With the appointments with the hearing doctor, she's able to sit to where I can work on toning down my tinnitus. The quality's fair, too. They're not cheap, but there are more expensive ones out there. I'm enjoying them and I wear them every day. However, I run into a gentleman at the last appointment I had. He had a pair of them also. He was an elderly more gentleman than me and we were both experiencing issues when it rains. His right and even my right, both were not connecting and not coming on. But I went into the app and wiped it out, reloaded, and then, it came on. But sometimes during the rain, it takes a little bit to get one going. But since using it, the sounds of my TV are turned down. I don't have to have things as loud. My wife enjoys that. Also, when I'm in meetings, I can go in, adjust the sound, treble, and bass.
In regards to the rain, this might be caused by the hearing aids having too much moisture. Just like any technology, dampness is not a good thing for your hearing aids. When this happens, make sure to dry them out. Please reach out to us if you need anything. Happy hearing! -Sami, Customer Success Specialist

I like my hearing aids through Hear.com very much. I use them when I go out to lectures and other things that I would have problems hearing otherwise. But if I am wearing them for a concert, I take them off because the violin is so loud. I am still getting used to the hearing aids. It’s nice that they're heavier than my old ones. It used to be I wasn't wearing them because I was afraid they'd fall off. I run my finger through my hair and it would disappear. But since these are heavier, I'm not worried about that. But with the mask, you have the same problem. While the mask is on, I don't wear them outside. But there's nothing I need to hear outside. I don't need to hear the traffic.
I live in an apartment and noticed noise in the hall. Before the hearing aids, it was more as if I was living in a freestanding house because I never heard any other apartment noise. I had learned to somehow disassociate the hearing aids with the cell phone which is driving me bananas because it is reverberating around the room. I couldn’t possibly talk on the phone.
There were instructions that came from Hear.com and instructions that came from my audiologist. Getting used to my hearing aids, Hear.com said two hours today and three hours tomorrow. But my audiologist said to go straight in. I told him I got these instructions from Hear.com, and he said, “I'm your audiologist. Pay attention to what I say.” If Hear.com recommends an audiologist to me, they need to say in their brochure, “We believe in these audiologist. They’re great. Listen to them. You shouldn't take what we have printed as instructions for everyone above someone that you’re paying $100 for a basic hearing test and a lot more to provide the hearing aids.”
Another thing is, partly because I don't know exactly how the lithium battery works, it's taking some time to get used to it. I went through three lithium batteries before I got one that worked. But I could go into my audiologist and say, “It doesn't work.” He’d take it away for two days and come back with something that works. Having that one to one relationship is worth an enormous amount. I'd be happy to recommend Hear.com. The were the ones who said, “This is someone who we deal with. We are really good at recommending good people.” That is a tremendous thing that they should be proud of.
It makes us happy to know that you are satisfied with the provider we recommended for you. However, I do apologize that you were receiving conflicting advice about how long you should wear your hearing aids. It is recommended to wear them for at least 8 hours a day. If you are still having troubles with the battery, we encourage you to see your provider as they will be able to help you. And of course, we are always here to help you as well. The young man I talked to was personable and talked about the 45-day trial. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while so I gave Hear.com a shot and I've liked the hearing aids so far. I like the Bluetooth option so I can take calls and listen to my audiobooks where nobody can tell. It took a little bit to get used to, but not much. Most of the time, I don’t even realize they're there. There's probably a model I could have bought that could be smaller and even less obtrusive, but that's not an issue for me. Battery life would be the only thing. I put them in first thing in the morning then sitting there, watching a football game at 9 o'clock at night, they start beeping at me that the battery’s getting low.
The customer service has been very good. I did have an issue where it wasn’t connecting to my Bluetooth. I called and they scheduled an appointment for me right away. It turned out to be an issue of me not knowing how to re-pair them again to my phone, so it was an easy fix. But instead of having to have an appointment with the audiologist, they could have emailed me the instructions, which is what they did in the end to teach me how to pair them again. Other than that, they're very responsive and I would definitely recommend them.
We appreciate the positive feedback about our customer service and your sales consultant. I like my hearing aids and they're very nice. They have improved my ability to hear my wife very much. When I bought them, the local people at the store were also very nice. In fact, I've been back in there the day I got fitted, there was so much to absorb. And one of the reps called me after the fact to make sure everything was good. There were some things about cleaning them that I couldn't remember exactly how he told me to do it with all these little gadgets and he told me stop by any time or he could set an appointment for me. I was downtown quite often and I asked him if I could just stop in. He said it was fine and when I was there, he went back through everything with me. He was very helpful and very professional, yet friendly at the same time.
All in all, I appreciate the quality of the product. They're the world's most expensive earbuds but they work well. I like the fact that when the phone rings, I'm the only one that hears it ring. And I listen to a lot of audio books. My eyes aren't the best anymore and I travel, so I listen to things through them. They're easy to charge, too.

I've had six different aids before and I wanted to make sure I had the best as I was tired of constantly not being happy with them. I got the most expensive one from Hear.com and it was the best decision I ever made. From the day I put them in, I have had zero problems. The first day, I kept them on for eight hours. I have them on 12 hours a day every day and I just love them. Last week, I forgot to take them off when I went swimming, and I lost them. But thanks to the protection guarantee, it only cost me $400 to get a new pair so I was very excited about that.

I was impressed with the questions he asked. He set up my first appointment. Patty, the receptionist, and Dr. ** made me feel welcome. I had the hearing test. Dr. ** gave me information about the styles of hearing aids. A short time later I picked up the hearing aids. It has taken several trips to the office to make adjustments to the hearing aids. During this time Jayson called several times to check on how the experience was going. I can call the office or Jayson anytime with questions or concerns. All 3 people are eager to answer questions and help make the hearing aid experience a success.
The whole process was so much simpler than I imagined it would be. I have never felt like they were glad to hand over the hearing aids and be finished with me. You don't need to buy from Hear.com. You can get anywhere. However, when you have a warranty or insurance claim you get the runaround. One person said I have to go back to the place I picked them up. I call that guy. He says now it has to go through them. I call Hear.com again. Get put on hold trying to find the guy who I dealt with there, he was on phone. I could leave him a message.
Well, I did nothing for over 4hrs. I call back again. Couldn't get the guy I dealt with, no one wanted to help. I was getting upset and finally the guy you dealt with is off the phone. Here he is. Ok, I get him on phone. He has to go look up, see if covered. OK great, it is needed to collect my payment. I gave it. Well, three weeks I call my office. They had my hearing aids and have been calling hear.com to find out if they were paid for, nobody could call them back for a couple of days. Finally got them taken care. Elizabeth called within an hour of me entering my information. She explained to me a bunch of stuff, including that there are 3 levels of aids: low, middle, and high. Probably because I'm a software developer, she told me that the low-range aids would not be the best way to go (she compared them to an old, slow computer). I said that's fine, but I would not do the high-end because price was an issue. She set me up with Hear.com app, which was then the main way we corresponded (via texting on it). She asked what color I would like, but didn't really tell me what would be best. She said Silver is the most popular color.
Several days later she told me she had a local place picked out, and I really liked the location. She also told me the price for the pair would be $5500, at which I was very surprised because I was looking to spend no more than $3000, based on previous research. I kept the appointment just to see what it was like. The hearing aids are very nice but the place was a little tiny place with only 2 small rooms and out-dated equipment. The people were very nice & showed me how to use the aids. However, the man did tell me it was his best model. Bottom line is that Elizabeth didn't listen to me, and can't be trusted. I will be returning the aids during my 45-day trial. I've already ordered another pair with another provider who really took the time to listen to me & my needs. The pair is a mid-range level for $2800.

I have needed to use hearing aids for 12 years now. I have used both local audiologists as well as online services. In an industry plagued with slimy con artists, these are absolutely the worst, both Margaret **'s office and the parent company Hear.com. I responded to an ad for free hearing test and trial of hearing aids (which is free only if you end up buying the product).
I was interested in the Bluetooth feature. When using the trial aids, I noticed that the Bluetooth feature kept cutting out. The hearing component was comparable to the $1500 pair that I had purchased online (this pair cost thousands). After some trial and error and many trips back to the audiologist, it was discovered that the software was corrupted. If I purchased a pair, the problem would be corrected. I did and it wasn't. They blamed the iPhone, but apple did an in depth troubleshooting of my phone and concluded definitively that the phone was not to blame. I tried another pair and same problem. I could get the Bluetooth working, only to have it quit an hour or so later.
Another issue was rechargeable battery life. I was told that it was 18 hours. Rarely would I get even 12 hours. I was told, Haha, some of our users only get 4 hours of battery life. I asked to return the aids for a refund. I was told that as long as they could get them working in the office, I could not return them even if they would quit an hour later. About the battery life, just carry the charger with you everywhere you go and when they die, just put them in the charger for 45 minutes. I finally told them that I no longer wished to keep them and was sent a copy of the contract with, Haha, your return period has expired. Dozens of phone calls to the corporate office and I have yet to get a return call. On hold to customer support for over an hour before being cut off. I feel as though I have be lied to and cheated. Do not use this company unless you want the same.

I expressed an interest in hearing aids to two different companies online after I could no longer hear a large amount of what my wife and other people with higher frequency voices said and I couldn't hear at all in crowded rooms. The two companies had what appeared to be similar products but Hear.com was substantially lower priced. Hear.com explained what type of products are available on the market and who the three main manufacturers of hearing aids are. They asked me detailed questions as to the nature of my hearing difficulties and asked what my objectives were in improving my hearing. They send me for a full hearing evaluation by an audiologist and after they reviewed the results with me they then suggested models they thought were the most appropriate for me.
They then referred me to Hearing Rehabilitation, a local company that sells and services many brands of hearing aids. They, and many other companies, give special discounted prices for most or all of those brands. Hear.com kept in close contact with me calling me after each stage of the process and making sure everything was going well and that I was happy with everyone involved. They were great! I decided on a Widex (manufacturer) EF23TT model that includes bluetooth. My telephone and music system now play in my ears and I can hear all phone calls very clearly, one of my bigger complaints before getting the hearing aids.
My friends and family love the fact that I am no longer asking them to repeat everything and I participate in activities more often since I can hear everyone. My hearing is not perfect but it has improved so much that I'm enjoying meeting with friends and going out to dinner and for drinks and other social events. My tinnitus is almost nonexistent while wearing my hearing aids and they are so comfortable I forget that I'm wearing them. I should have started wearing hearing aids several years ago but I love having them now. Thank you Hear.com and Hearing Rehabilitation for helping me so much! My hearing aids have rechargeable batteries that hold a charge for about 16 hours, I would highly suggest them and my hearing aids are so small that it's very hard for people to tell I'm wearing them. They're great.
Sincerely,Loren

The hearing aids I purchased are fine. During the purchasing process I was told by Matt, the salesperson, that I would be provided with three years of free batteries for my hearing aids. I continue to request the batteries from Matt at Hear.com but he does not respond to my emails. The accounting department said they were going to ship me six months worth of batteries but they never arrived. Beware of the sales pitch and remember a person is only as good as their word.
Hi Terry. I am sorry to hear about the experience you had with us. I have been assigned to review your case since Matt is no longer with our company. We sent over batteries in May to the address that we have on file. I have just spoken with our logistics team and they will send you another year of batteries. I tried calling you to confirm your address and sent you a text as well. If you have any questions, please reach out to us. You should receive the batteries by next week. Have a great day!

In the beginning I was not really convinced using an online service in order to get new hearing aids. Nevertheless, I filled out the online questionnaire and just 20 minutes later I received a call from a Hear.com consultant. The person was really kind and answered all my questions in a detailed way. So Hear.com eliminated the obligation to spend hours looking for a hearing aid. The consultants are trained to find the best hearing aids for you. Hear.com took care of me from start to finish. They answered all my questions and scheduled my appointment with an audiologist close to me. Overall, I'm really satisfied with the whole process and finally can hear everything again.

Today June 6 2019 I acted on a computer story/ad describing a total new kind of in ear hearing aid named Silk Nx. I got in contact with Hear.com who offered to evaluate my hearing problem. They insisted however in getting my credit card number in order to block a $1 (one) amount to make sure I would keep my appointment. This was such a transparent lie that I refused in spite of "it is our company policy" and the "it is only one dollar" reasoning. Don't do business with those people and never ever give anybody your credit card number if you do not know the person. Your bank account will be emptied and loaded with debt before you hang up the phone!
Hi Ed! I understand your concern. I would like to explain our cancellation policy, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy where we secure a $1 hold. If you need to cancel call us or the provider, and nothing will be charged. Only in the event where you don't show up will we charge a penalty fee. Also, we comply with HIPAA regulations, so we don't store or record any information. If any money was withdrawn by our company, please let us know so we can refund you quickly.

This information was then passed on to Synchrony Bank who checked my credit, albeit I had not even had a hearing test to determine what was needed. Hear passed my name to Dotcom to conduct my hearing test. The locale was a business enterprise renting office space in a downtown location. The Dotcom individual appeared to be a professional and is licensed by the state of California.
During the discussion regarding the cost of the units Mr. ** made a derogatory religious remark which I objected to. Evidently Hear.com forwarded my financial information to Synchrony Bank for a credit check without my knowledge or consent. I was supposed to have a 45 FREE trial period, and the finance co, said I have had them for the 45 days, and that my payment was overdue. The person who told me to send them back for a remake, said she would contact them and not to pay until I was happy.
So I tried to call her back today (she NEVER seems to be available), left a message for her to call me back today August 15, 2018. She called back but only left a message, would NOT talk to me, called back, since she did NOT give me an address to send them to, only told me they had to be back not later than August 19th. Took the person almost 10 minutes to find the correct address to mail them to, UPS to get them there that fast was $52.89! I can't believe that because I didn't do financing through Hear.com (ridiculously high rates), the audiologist who did my hearing test and was suppose to order my hearing device decided to cancel my appointment without calling me or letting me now that they could not move forward. I was very clear that I didn't like the terms of the loan (12.9%) over 3 years for $4000 when I have a credit score of 812. Then when they offered to lower the rates, the language was funky in the loan and I didn't want to do the financing with the loan people at Hear.com. So the company that they used cancelled my appointment without calling me. They didn't even allow for me to pay for the hearing device another way.
The guy at Hear.com wants to argue with me about the financing even after I said never-mind and blamed me as a consumer. Shocking that Hear.com pushes their financing on people who are struggling to get hearing aids. More shocking is that they don't hold their affiliations to a higher standard of communicating with their consumers about what is acceptable forms of payment and what isn't acceptable. All they had to do was lay out the requirements and I would have been okay but they try to play with your emotions and need of the device. Will never!!! Recommend them to anyone. Terrible and pushy service. I went back to Kaiser where at least they know how to treat people.

After research found the correct model myself at a lower price. Asked for information and after waiting a week, found out they closed my file as not interested. When called the rep tried to say she was out sick on the day I called. However her sick day was not the same day I called. No explanation ever received about the quote or pricing. But after I got my hearing aids, there was this guy who said that he got his from Costco and spent the same thing as mine, which is $1,400. I bought the ones that go behind the ear and they're good when I wear them. I work at the Texas State Aquarium and working there is like working in a hallway of a high school at the change of class time. It's like that all the time so I can't wear these hearing aids there. I work for two days and the kids there are so loud. I have never seen anybody that loud in my life which is enough to cure anybody from hearing. I usually take the hearing aids off at work and forget to put them back on.
But my hearing aids have a little cotton in there which is supposed to be pulled out but I don't know how I'm going to do it because it looks like it's connected to wires at the bottom of the other end. The health professional that fitted my hearing aids said that that's the best that they can do. She was nice, though. She told me that if I needed it changed, I could go back to her and she'll do it. That's what I usually do after working at the aquarium. I live in Corpus Christi and there's a little town on the other side of the Corpus Christ Ship Channel named Portland and that's where I go.

The local audiologist was also good but I had a follow up question with them and I never got a response, which is a little irritating. It was a technical thing and has to do with spatial configuration within the hearing aid, where I can direct which way the hearing aids are hearing. Also, it took a while for me to get used to wearing it and with the chewing sounds when I chew food. Yet it certainly helps me hear my wife and a lot of sounds around the house. We have a heavily-wooded lot outside our house and I can hear all kinds of things that I wasn't hearing well before. It’s the one in which the main thing is behind the ear and there’s a little wire that attaches to the part that goes in the ear. It was awfully expensive and causes my ear to itch but I can hear my wife better now. Overall, I am disappointed with the cost and if I had to do it over again, I might check some of the more inexpensive ones and see how they work.

Hear.com was just right there and it was convenient so I got them. In fact, I’ve had them before. It’s expensive though but it’s important to get the best and I hope I got it. Their consultant was very good and when I initially purchased the hearing aids, I went back and saw their hearing professional once or twice, but I’m in Ohio so I haven’t seen her for a while. But then I'm a snowbird so I live in Florida six months. So when I get back there, I'm going to go back to her and see if I can learn and fine-tune my hearing aids a little bit better.
When I go into a bar or a really noisy type of restaurant, I have to turn them off even though I could focus them and hear the sound right directly in front of me, because the noise is still overwhelming. Nevertheless, my experience was excellent. My hearing aids work, they're valuable and I get a lot of older people who’d ask me about them and I recommend them to everyone. There are different types of environment that it can be used. I was also really surprised that the battery lasts a week. I normally take my hearing aids out when I'm home and wear them when I’m out and about.

Hear.com was nice to deal with. I was at somebody's house and I saw their ad in the AARP. Their customer consultant was great. She’s a very professional and lovely woman. And the audiologist that Hear.com recommended was competent. I'm enjoying the hearing aids for the most part, but I do not really love having them. Sometimes, it sounds too loud. The whole idea of being able to control it through my iPhone is good, though. Also, I'm not happy with the fact that the batteries run out. Interesting enough, one hearing aid says that the battery is low while the other does not. And the one that doesn't is the hearing aid that goes first. So, it's not really great. I have friends who have the type of hearing aids that can be charged at night. That would be better than having to worry about batteries. But those hearing aids did not have the option of the iPhone controls, so it's a toss-up.

I came in contact with Hear.com through the internet. The first representative I spoke with was very much interested in helping me get things started. And my good experience with Hear.com has to do with her. She was the one that I would always get back to, but she is gone and I haven’t heard from her. Since I got my hearing aids, I've heard a lot about other companies and hearing aids. It’s a learning experience for me but I’ve been so busy. Right now, I’m getting ready to pay attention to the things that would make the hearing aids really aid me to the greatest extent. I have one more free visit to make to the doctor that handled my case and to ask her some questions.

I was doing a search and I ran across Hear.com online. Their audiologist was fine and I liked her. I also like the hearing aids and I’m satisfied with them. They fit well within the ears. However, the app needs some work. I'd like to be able to move it from instrument to instrument without having to go back in and I'm not sure if that's even possible. But I’d recommend Hear.com and I hope to continue to be able to use their hearing aids.

The Hear.com customer consultant was great and she knew what she was talking about. She was thorough and helped me with some difficulties I was having with Behind-The-Ear hearing aids I had ten years ago. I didn’t like them so she said to have In-The-Ear. Then as we talked about it, she said there was one ReSound that worked with the iPhone that I found very attractive. So that’s the one I went with. It is comparable with the ones I had before which were around the same cost. Also, I like the fact that they kept trying to make sure that everything was okay. When I was having a problem with one of the hearing aids, I sent it back once. Then the next time, they replaced it without me having to send back one, and I was satisfied with the work.

I have been trying since 1998 to get my husband get a hearing aid because he can’t hear. This has been ongoing and I can’t even tell how many places we’ve had his hearing tested, including the place where we ended up getting the hearing aids the last time. We have been in Hear.com before and they sent us to the closest place to us. My husband said that he saw the thing on the internet about Hear.com and he’s just forgotten so that’s how we ended up going back. Angela from Hear.com said that Hear.com is in 50 states and it can get better prices on hearing aids and they were the ones who sent us back to the place in Louisiana that we went back to. I don’t know the details about the arrangements that were made between that person and Hear.com, all I know is that we went there on the referral and they set it up.
We went there and my husband was tested then we bought the hearing aid. We got a better price because we got it through Hear.com price and even the man told us that. We put it on our credit card, then somebody from Hear.com called us and contacted us several times by email to find out if it was them that got us the hearing aid. Hear.com did a good job because they got my husband a hearing aid. In the beginning, it was just the resistance to the hearing aid but in this one place that we went to, they gave him TV ears and that made him realize that he can hear better with some assistance but it wasn’t sufficient.
My husband has truthfully lost so much of his hearing and can’t even regain more than 80% of it and I was noticed then that it was starting to affect his mental capacity. My husband and I are the same age. As a matter of fact, he’s three months younger than me, but he was acting so much older than he is because he couldn’t hear. It was like he’s out of the loop and people would exclude him from the conversation.
He kept saying that there are other things we need more than he needs a hearing aid. Until finally I said that there isn’t anything because his health’s the most important thing. The hearing aid was so expensive and we’re all retired plus we live on a fixed income so money was an issue. We also have no insurance that covers it so it was all out-of-pocket. He has his hearing aid now and we were very satisfied with them.

The customer consultant at Hear.com was okay. I purchased the wireless hearing aid with the Bluetooth capability. However, that feature does not work well with me. I don’t know how to operate it and after a while, I just got too busy to deal with it and so I don’t wear them enough. I will make an appointment with the audiologist. I can get him to explain the hearing aids to me again and help me with it. The hearing aids are not helpful with my hearing. I’m very disappointed with them and I wish I had never spent $5,000 on them.
Thanks for your review. If you are having difficulties using the Bluetooth feature, we would be more than happy to help you. You can also directly contact the partner provider. He can explain every feature of the hearing aids, so that you can enjoy the hearing aids to the fullest. Thanks

The little hearing aids that go in the ear from Hear.com wasn’t so bad in the beginning. But as I ran into problems, it’s like they almost cared less. I was having trouble trying to hear out of the hearing aids. Since I work six days a week from 6:30 in the morning until 7 at night, trying to get back to the doctor to get things set right, so I can hear better and for the hearings aids not to fall out, was an issue for me and the doctor knew that. So the hearing aids had to get sent back in and remade.
Once the new hearing aids were made, I sent Gabriel, one of the consultants, a message saying I’m gonna try them for two more weeks and if I couldn’t get better use out of them, then I want to turn them in. But those two weeks took four weeks to happen because of my best friend's funeral and my work schedules were tough. At the end, Gabriel wouldn't return my calls. Instead of her, Helena called and I told her that I’m not getting the benefit out of the hearing aids and that I need to turn them back in. But she said that I cannot and I'm stuck with it.
I’m so mad because now I got a $4,100 debt that I have to pay and I don’t keep my hearing aids in my ears because I get an itch every now and then. The lady told me that I have to get and try some medicine, but I don’t have time to do all that and to get the hearings aids to fit perfectly. Then when I called the doctor one time for the bill to go in, he said he never got my voice message. I did it twice and that took another two weeks. I was way over the 45-day period and I understood that so when I got the brand new adaptor, I had to send the hearing aids back in to get them redone. I also had to try to make sure I didn’t lose them because I had lost one and dropped it on the ground. But I got lucky and found it.
I'm very frustrated with the hearing aids and I'm very dissatisfied with my experience. I continue having to ask people, “What are you saying?” and I was doing that before I had hearing aids. My employees and my wife look at me like I might as well take them out because they're not working. I’ll never recommend Hear.com's hearing aids to anybody. They're a multi-billion dollar company while I’m a little 60-year-old guy trying to survive. I thought they would have taken a little bit more sympathy but they didn't. Once they sold their product to me, they got me hooked.

Hear.com took my insurances. Their representatives were good and our repeated communication has been wonderful. I don't get thrown into a pool and I can actually speak to the one that I spoke to. They're very personable, both on the phone and on the appointment. In the past, I've had problems with the particular ear that I was addressing. I have a very small ear canal there so the size made a big difference. I purchased the hearing aid that was recommended. And a part of it is in-my-ear and the other part is over-the-ear. They sent me to people who can tweak the hearing aid if there is too much or not enough background noise. My experience has been good.

We had done everything before we realized how far it was. I've gone three times to see that doctor and I haven't been back because it's too far to go. It was hard for her to understand the words people were saying with the other hearing aids she had used before. I have worked in search engine optimization so I know how to get to the right product and I was getting through most of the people who blogged their experience. Hear.com also have lots of practitioners. I requested for an in-the-canal hearing aid, but I didn’t get that. The practitioner said I am possibly not eligible. But I was never showed the instrument I was requesting for again and again and I didn’t get the chance to try the in-the-canal. Instead, I got the Oticon and it's not working fine for me. It’s one and a half month since I had it and the instrument is completely diminished hearing across. I spent $6,000 and after hearing it is not working, I’m trying to schedule one more appointment with Hear.com and I'm waiting for their response.
Once after I purchased the product, Hear.com customer consultants didn’t get back to me. That’s weird and I never expected that from them. I got the small behind-the-ear hearing aid because I didn't like my ear canal being blocked and unable to hear ambient noises around me, just what was coming through the device. I can now hear people’s conversations in a crowded room and I don’t have to keep saying, “What?” It was good and expensive but the different brands are all the same and if I go with the less expensive one, it’s a bigger device. I am on a construction site and there are meetings that I have to attend and hearing has been an issue with me in these meetings. My wife was also very frustrated that I lost hearing in my left ear so she took it upon herself to do a lot of research. She saw Hear.com and found out that there was a place four blocks from my project that I'm working on in San Francisco where I could go to meet with an audiologist. I saw the audiologist which was a very small price to pay to find out what the issue was, to find out if it was repairable, if a surgery or a hearing aid could fix it. They made recommendations for the type of hearing aids that they supplied to me. The professional who fitted me the hearing aid was very nice, very knowledgeable and took the time to explain it. I enjoyed meeting with her and I felt I could trust her.
I went with the hearing aid that sits on the ear and then goes behind after that because people that have hearing aids suggested that it had the better receiver as opposed to the one that's in the ear. They said that I can switch within 45 days if it wasn't the style I like but I was happy so I went with it. When we discussed the price, my wife said that’s about what everybody else would charge except for Costco. But, I like the doctor and they were going to handle it from start to finish so I continued with it. The hearing aid that they gave me was like a Bluetooth to the right ear. I can turn that off and adjust the volume when things get a little too confusing. It’s not optimal but at this stage anything would be optimal short of a cochlear surgery which I got a referral to go take care of. It’s been a good experience so far.

I had tried a couple of other ones that I wasn't satisfied with, but when I went to this guy, I liked him so I stuck with him. If it wasn't for him, there wouldn't have been anything with Hear.com. Their people were very nice, though. There was never any dishonesty associated with anything. They just seemed to have dropped the ball. When I had to call back, they were very apologetic. I don’t usually surf the internet but one day, I saw an advertisement flash up and I had partially been interested in hearing aids because I've had them in the past, but I couldn’t wear them and I had to take them back. But there had to be something out there that will work for me. And so I gave Hear.com a call and this guy led me from there and told me how to find it and who to go to. I bought Widex Beyond. They were tiny pieces that go way down in your ear that you can't see and then a tiny box behind your ear. It was different from the one I'm supposed to use. I must get the basic because I had to go pay an ears, nose and throat deal, get an antibiotic and I can't fit my hearing aid in. But that was because I have to get used to them. Now, I wear them very comfortably.
I like that I can use my iPhone to control them. The audiologist programmed it into my phone and yesterday, I called her and she led me through how to unpair them and then pair them back up to correct the problem. They're not in my town and they can do most everything like that over the phone without me having to go in. They're very smart. I'm no longer involved with Hear.com. One of the people at Hear.com uses it. He got me hooked up with them and I paid the down payment and got the other financed and they work together with him. And now I get them strictly from an audiologist in Cartersville.
It's great. I still miss some words every now and then and I have to ask my husband, “What did she say?” But I told him yesterday I'm not using them on full volume. So, I don’t want to put them on number 8 right now. One is on 5 and one is on 6. And when I turn them up, it seems too loud to me. So later on, I'm sure I may have to turn that volume on. So my quality of life, I'm able to hear better, overall this is where I'll go. I have recommended them to two friends. One of my friends had their pay for some kind which was similar to mine. So she used that. And then my other friend had to seek help on issues and she hasn’t had time to take care of herself at all. But I have told people about it.

And then I decided to go over and see what they had to offer and I got a hearing test. I purchased a hearing aid that goes in the ear and hangs over the back. I like that they’re lightweight and are not really obvious. They’re small-sized and they don’t stand out. Their reps were also able to help me get financing for it because they’re way too expensive.
But I had a little bit of a problem with the little filters plugging up and I didn’t know what to do with them, so I drove over to their office and they helped me and got it straightened out. I didn’t understand when they first told me about changing the filters out. The hearing aid was really good. There’s so much that I had been missing before because I wasn’t able to distinguish what people were saying. I could hear the noise but I couldn’t watch a movie. It was just getting to the point it was really difficult to sit and watch a movie unless I turned the sound way up and then everybody else in the room would have to suffer through me, with the noise turned up. I dealt with two different Veronicas in Hear.com when I switched accounts. They were very good and the last Veronica followed up on me. Plus, she gave me a $500 discount. I looked into other hearing aids and companies and I was going to go along with my audiologist from the ENT’s office until I found Hear.com which came out to be a lot less expensive. In my ENT doctor’s office, there is a hearing and audiologist center there. At first, she was quoting me a price of $3,200 to go standard. By the time I got back, my hearing had gotten worse, so she said that I was ready for an advanced one and it would be $5,800. By the time I got to Hear.com and they gave me the discount, I felt a lot better. Plus, my insurance gave me $1,500, so they brought the price down quite a bit.
I have the small hearing aids in the shape of a kidney bean that goes behind the ear. This one was less conspicuous than the other styles from the hearing aids center. And when I fit it on to see how they would sound, I could hear immediately. So that won me over. But it took them three visits to get it just right where I don’t feel like I’m talking to a microphone. I've gotten great service from the hearing aid center and excellent customer service anytime I have to have one. I went back last Monday because it stopped working. She told me the buds needed to be cleaned. But they did it and didn’t charge me so that’s good. And that’s part of the service up to a year. But now that she showed me what to do, I can do that myself.
They were the second audiologist that I visited and went to, and I had a good experience with them. It worked for me and just in time because, after last year, I wouldn't have known what to do because I really couldn’t hear people at work. If I'm at a meeting or in a noisy environment, I wasn’t hearing. Then the people get tired of repeating stuff to you. Everything worked out well. Everybody was extremely understanding and helpful. At first, I didn’t know a lot about the different types of models available. I just knew that I wanted one that wasn’t visible. So at first, she set me up with the battery one and I didn’t like it because it echoed. So then, she set me up with the one that goes over the ear and if she would have let me try different ones from the beginning, I wouldn’t have been so set on the invisible one. But it all worked out. I ended up with the Phonak ComPilot.
I like that I don’t have to worry about the batteries because it is rechargeable. Also, I love the Bluetooth capability of it. I’ve got it linked to both my phone and my iPad. When I read about Hear.com on Facebook, everybody that used them, based on the reviews, were pleased with everything. I sent them a message to say I'm interested and then I got a call from Gabrielle. She put me in touch with someone locally who could help me because they're far away. The consultant was very nice and willing to work however we could. He requested the harder plastic for my hearing aids, but what was sent was the silicone plastic. They made my ears sweat and they kept coming out, so I was constantly pushing them back in again. After working with them for a month or so, I went back and told them that it has been annoying and inconvenient. So he sent a fax and told them that these are not the ones we wanted and reordered a harder plastic, one that would stay in and give me less trouble.
The second process has taken about two months though. It's been ridiculous. We'd be told that they didn't have my order, they have the order, or they'll fax something else. I can imagine that the poor people that had been helping me here locally must have been frustrated. I got a call last week and found that my order has been shipped to Florida by mistake. They're going to reroute them and send them to us. I got a call yesterday that they'd come in, so I'm going in today to be fitted with them. There's been a lot of frustration and because of all that, I was given a credit of $250 off the cost and a lifetime supply of the batteries. So eventually, they tried to make it okay.
I've been back to the shop a couple of times too because the left hearing aid was making my ear itch. They gave me a solution that helped, but it dissolved them so I kept having to push them back in. The last time I went, the lady that helped me said that the thing that goes behind the ear wasn't quite long enough. So she lengthened that and that has helped as far as not coming out or not getting as loose as they used to be. But I'm still looking forward to getting the ones that I really wanted. Overall, Hear.com has been helpful but you have to be very patient.

When iPhone released iOS 10, that was the tipper. That's what I wanted. Everything is Bluetooth connected. The only reason I need the phone is to talk for the microphone. I walk two miles a day and I don't need headphones for that anymore because the hearing aids do it. It's a beautiful thing.
The whole experience with the customer consultant was excellent. She was a good salesperson. Not that I needed it so much but she explained the hearing aids. She was very patient with me and the exam was well-done. She phased in the hearing aids. That was very important. I went two weeks at 60%, then two weeks at 75% to 80% and then I went a 100%. Other companies don’t do that. However, the cost of $6,000 is atrocious. There’s no comparing no matter what you do. The whole thing should not have even cost $2,000. It was a bad side tipping point.
I've had them now for four months. When I wake up in the morning, I put them on. I made it part of my habit. Nothing that you're going to stick in your ear is going to be comfortable 100% of the time. Your ears itch, the hearing aids are too far or not far enough. But you have to be committed to the cause and I was. I got through all that. A friend of mine got hearing aids and when the doctor looked at it, it turns out he wore them only once in two weeks. That's not committed. You got to wear these things.
A high percentage of Hear.com's people has called over 60-year-olds and the $6,000 price point is horrible. At a certain point, I was willing to let it go. But my friend said I need to do something. I don't need that high of a quality of hearing aid. But I can't do that. I can't jump into a technology halfway up the hill. That's not going to do anybody any good.

I got the Widex hearing aid that goes over the back of the ear through Hear.com and the hearing care professional was wonderful. He was one of the best practitioners of any kind I've ever worked with. He was just right all the way around. He also wears a hearing aid and shared his own experience. He was very personable, helpful, explained everything and went over it again and answered all my questions.
I went back for an appointment 3 times just to see what’s going on and how the hearing aids are working. I had lots of damage on my left ear from an ear infection when I was younger and it did not hear as well as the right ear. I wondered if that was going to be just the way it is but he tuned up that left side and now I hear way better. I can hear conversations that I missed before. Also, at one point he sent me to an ear, nose and throat doctor just to do some pressure test. I was there twice and their instrument didn’t work so they won't send people there anymore. But my overall experience with Hear.com has been very good and I have already recommended them to a friend.

Hear.com's prices were better than other providers and I purchased hearing aids that go inside the ear from them. The professionals that fit me my hearing aids were awesome. I interact with Brittany all the time. I send her an email and she answers me right back. It’s mainly the audiologist that’s the important person here. If your audiologist doesn’t answer you or doesn’t take care of you, then there’s a problem. Also, the hearing aid is good and it has a feature that I can change it from a meeting to a non-meeting which is my favorite.

I got a small in-ear hearing aid because it doesn't show and it's easy to use. It's made life around the house easier with my husband and also in social groups. The consultant from Hear.com has been great. He was also very supportive. The guy who fit the aid in was very knowledgeable, kind and patient. He explained everything step by step. It was a good experience all the way around. I went back for a recheck and it also went fine.

I was thinking about other companies but I was well confident that I wanted Hear.com. The rep was great and the service I got from him was what made me decide to go with them. We had three other meetings fixing small problems. We spent about an hour and a half before we made a decision and he showed me all the ins and outs. He spent a lot of time explaining it and going over everything so there's more information that I wouldn't have gotten anywhere else. He had some demos and he had me try the hearing aids out for the first four days. I liked them and then I told them to go ahead and order the hearing aids and adjust the initial settings of the sound. My hearing has been a lot better and I'm hearing things that I've never heard before. Overall, it was a very great experience.

I'm not very happy with the hearing aids that I got. It doesn't help me much. I used the hearing aids in a crowded environment and the background noise was amplified along with the person I was trying to listen to. But the personnel whom I was working with were very nice and helpful and I was happy with Hear.com. I like that they guaranteed my money back if I applied for a contract. If I didn't like the hearing aids within 60 days, they would give me my money back. And they stood by their guarantee.

The Hear.com customer consultant seemed knowledgeable of what he's doing. Also, the hearing care professional was friendly and easy-going. I've already had many hearing tests, he explained how the booth works and he didn't make me nervous in there, where I couldn't hear anything. Since my purchase, my hearing is a lot better. I don't have to sit down because I can't hear people talk. But I'm still going to appointments to make sure the hearing piece is fitting and working right. I'd definitely recommend Hear.com.

My mom is wearing the behind-the-ear hearing aids from Hear.com but she's still on a trial period because she fractured her hip right after we ordered them. For some reason, she's still not hearing well though and we've followed up several times, so we want to go back to see the specialist. The Hear.com salesperson that I spoke with was also very nice. She understood our situation and was very accommodating as well. Compared to HEARx, which was where we were going before, Hear.com is much better. My mom was happier with the technician and we had an excellent experience with her.

I've had hearing aids for the past 10 years from Costco but I was unhappy with them. So, when Hear.com called, I went for a test and I got some hearing aids. I also got the charger and I don't like it. It doesn't work. I plug it in at night and it's supposed to give me 12 hours but it doesn't. After eight or nine hours, it goes dead on me and I'm not happy with that. I got to call on it and give it back. Also, I've gone back a half of dozen times to readjust my hearing aids and I can't get it right. My echo is on me and I got to do something. I took out the charger, put in regular batteries and it works better. It's better with a regular battery than with the rechargeable batteries.
It's about the same as the other hearing aids that I've had. I paid the extra couple of thousand dollars hopefully that this would work but really it's not working the way I like to. They gave me a new hearing test thinking that something was wrong but it didn't improve. But they're excellent and they're a great company. They even got me this caption phone which helps out a lot. Also, I told them I was having problems and they came because they wanted to see if they could clear it up at my house. Not too many people do that. They're doing exactly the best they can and it's been an excellent experience.

It was easy to find a doctor that was qualified through Hear.com. I have the Oticon hearing aids and since having them, I can talk to someone without holding a phone. I use the Bluetooth feature the most. Also, I can now listen to conversations and understand what people are saying 'cause before I would miss certain words. The impact is tremendous. The product quality has been good and although they worked with me a little bit, the price is really high. People get so busy and I went without Hear.com for about five years. It was nice and convenient to have someone call and say, "Okay. You need to do this. We made an appointment for you." Overall, they were very good to work with and everyone was very professional.

I like Hear.com really well. They’re doing a great job. Their customer reps are sweethearts and the audiologist that they recommended is a really good gal. The Hear.com hearing aids have some type of a Bluetooth connection. And I like that they would do music and stuff and they had a little application that you could hook right into the amplifiers or the mixers.
I got the behind the ear hearing aid with a little tube that goes in. The little bud that’s in your ear works a lot better than the old styles. I’ve been wearing hearing aids for a number of years and my new ones are a step up. The last set before this must be $6,000 or $7,000 and now these are expensive, which is quite a bit in good hearing. I’m really happy that I made this move. They worked to my expectation. Also, everybody likes me a lot better now. They want me to come to listen to things more because I have better hearing than they do.

I'm hard of hearing so I needed some kind of an aid to help me hear a little better. I took a chance with Hear.com. Their rep was good and she understood what I was looking for. That was my first time out looking for hearing aids and I got good service. But based on what I've used the hearing aid so far, the quality of the unit could be improved. When I went to conferences, I can't hear what the people were talking about because we got too much reverberation in the room. I've had to have few adjustments made to the hearing aids. Otherwise, it's a little better that I could hear somebody talking to me. To hear people talking to you is important. I would recommend Hear.com to people.

I spent too much money on my hearing aid and that helped me a little bit but it's not exactly what I was expecting. My right ear couldn't hear anything. I already talked to the doctor over there and he told me that's only what I can have. They already adjusted it once and a different person called me back. And this guy just moved something but I don't feel so good. So, I have to go back and tell them to adjust it. Also, I talked with them after I got my hearing aid because the battery is dead in one day. I feel like it's too much. I want to have something rechargeable. I tried a couple of hearing aids and I ended up getting Oticon from Hear.com. I liked their financing option and the hearing care professional was fantastic. I dealt with her most of the way and she helped me so much. It takes a while to adjust to wearing hearing aids and she's been there every step of the way and willing to make adjustments or fix little problems that I have. There was also a guy that handled stuff online and by the phone. He was always there to help me through everything too and he was the one who sent me to Valley Audiology. And another guy, the one I interacted with initially, walked me through the financing process.
The first couple hearing aids I had felt like I was walking around with Q-tips in my ears. But with the ones I have now, I don't even think about having them on. The first ones I tried though had the Bluetooth but that thing didn't really work for me. The gal from Valley Audiology changed the little buzz until I felt really comfortable in my ear. They're so comfortable that a couple of times, I almost got in the shower with them 'cause I didn't even think I had them on. The hearing aids are expensive and I've had them for a few months. Having them though has made a whole lot of people around me happy. I could hear them much better now. Before, I'd be on phone with somebody and I couldn't hear a word they're saying so that's a big difference. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Hear.com was so nice and said I'm going to get used to it, that they're going to make sure that I'll like it and that they're going to adjust so good. I bought two hearing aids and they gave me a warranty for three weeks or three months. I spent almost $4,000 and I'm so pissed and so mad. They adjusted it themselves out of mind and they are no good. When I put them, there's just noise and I can hear better without them. It was a robbery and it wasn't worth anything.
I got cheated so badly by Hear.com. It was the way it was promised and I believed it would be worth it but it's not. I was hooked on it and there was no way out. That is ridiculous and I'm surprised that I was that stupid. I had a big lesson and I still can't forget that. Now, nobody calls and worries about it. The first two or three weeks, they were asking me to say what I think of it. At that time, I wasn't sure and I didn't say anything. But I was talking to some lawyers and other people and maybe, I'm going to have something done about it. I would warn everybody and I'll tell the story to everybody.

They’re pretty much okay and I can hear with them. Steve went through it with me and he was a lot better than anybody I talked to. However, the batteries would go dead pretty fast with the hearing aids and it's only good for about a week. I just throw the batteries away and put new ones in. My wife’s been after me for several years about getting hearing aids and I happened to see a Hear.com ad on the internet and they said that there were three places near me. The people that I contacted initially were at the corporate office and my experience was very good. The rep was very helpful and did a lot of follow-up to make sure I got in touch with the local office. Also, the audiologist at the local office was good. They could use better help on the front desk and get somebody with a more mature attitude. She was not real helpful. I was running late on my appointment the first time, but that’s due to having young and inexperienced help upfront.
The hearing specialist was very attentive and knowledgeable. I got the top-of-the-line device at the time, which was around $6000. I wish that Medicare or one of those other insurance providers would participate in it, help out a little bit. I've been using the hearing aids for about four months. It works pretty good and the battery life lasts for about two weeks plus a few days. Although, I need to go back in because I get a lot of screeching every now and then. All in all, $6000 was quite a bit to pop out but my wife said it’s worth it if I could hear better. It has helped in meetings and interacting with other people and my wife doesn’t bug me so much anymore. But I wanna look into a new one Hear.com has out. It's insertible into the ear and I'm going to ask my hearing specialist about it.

And then the customer service experience was great. They completely guided me on the whole thing. The audiologist was great too and the staff was phenomenal. I had the ones around my ears, but they didn't work out. Then they sent me on that you put in the ears, but it was so big and so I sent them back again. The hearing consultant was very understandable. But, she was supposed to fit another thing in the ear, but she didn't. She gave me the same size as the other ones around the ear that I had before.
But the ones I have now are too noisy. I put it on zero but it's still noisy and I can't concentrate. When my AC goes on or the Frigidaire motor goes on for the ice, I could hear a humming sound. I also have to take them out when I drive. I could hear everything on the exams but with this, they're too loud. I don’t wear them now because I could not handle them and they make me too nervous. Then I went for a hearing test at Corpus. I was very pleased with everyone's help and their service.
I got the hearing aid that sits on top of my ear and it's a lot more comfortable. The only disadvantage of them is the wind noise. My hair is short and when I'm out in the wind, the hearing aids pick up a lot of noise. But I can learn to adapt to that and it's not a problem. I heard about Hear.com and I looked it up on the internet and as I started to go through it, it was something that I thought I needed. I tried a variety of different hearing aids. The reps allowed me to use the hearing aid and they wanted me to try it for one week. So after about a week and a half we determined that the left hearing aid that I have wasn't functioning right. The audiologist said she found it strange 'cause she hasn't had that problem. She tried to adjust everything so they sent a brand new pair and they let me use those for two weeks. That's what made me decide to go for Hear.com after a month of wearing them.
Because in the interim, I had been trying other hearing aids. The difference was amazing that other top selling, high end, expensive $6,000 pair hearing aids are when I compare them to the Hear.com one. The previous hearing aid I had was a Sonic and it was okay. But it didn’t do what the Hear.com hearing aids do. I’d seen hearing aids on the internet and bought another pair that was no good for $400. I just put up with them until I decided I’d have some hearing test done in a place in Jacksonville. The Hear.com people I dealt with were good. It ain't even a week ago when I went over and they cleaned the ends of my hearing aids real good and inspected them, and then charged me nothing. They even put new batteries in them for free. They said if I ever had a problem, they’d do some testing with my hearing aids. But they’re still handy if I use the telephone to adjust them. They got settings that I can use, settings for watching television or if I’m going to a restaurant or if I’m going to be outdoors. Plus a default where they got two bars there, one for each ear that I can adjust the volume up and down, and the bass and treble. So, that’s the way I can fine-tune them myself.
I have to have a smartphone, at least a smartphone 7, to run that software. As long as I have that, the program’s easy to run. It’s only two little different pages on the phone to adjust the phone. They loaded that for me for free on my phone. However, those smartphones are expensive. It cost me around $4,000 for the hearing aids and about $500 for the phone. Nevertheless, my hearing aids are okay. I just have to clean them every now and then. I clean them with a washcloth every time I put them in. Hear.com is a very good place of business that backs up their equipment.
