My wife’s been after me for several years about getting hearing aids and I happened to see a Hear.com ad on the internet and they said that there were three places near me. The people that I contacted initially were at the corporate office and my experience was very good. The rep was very helpful and did a lot of follow-up to make sure I got in touch with the local office. Also, the audiologist at the local office was good. They could use better help on the front desk and get somebody with a more mature attitude. She was not real helpful. I was running late on my appointment the first time, but that’s due to having young and inexperienced help upfront.

The hearing specialist was very attentive and knowledgeable. I got the top-of-the-line device at the time, which was around $6000. I wish that Medicare or one of those other insurance providers would participate in it, help out a little bit. I've been using the hearing aids for about four months. It works pretty good and the battery life lasts for about two weeks plus a few days. Although, I need to go back in because I get a lot of screeching every now and then. All in all, $6000 was quite a bit to pop out but my wife said it’s worth it if I could hear better. It has helped in meetings and interacting with other people and my wife doesn’t bug me so much anymore. But I wanna look into a new one Hear.com has out. It's insertible into the ear and I'm going to ask my hearing specialist about it.

Everybody wanted $6,000, $8,000, for the hearing aids, and I ended up around $4,000 with Hear.com. They're a lot cheaper and I got the Siemens that go behind and down the ear. They’re pretty much okay and I can hear with them. Steve went through it with me and he was a lot better than anybody I talked to. However, the batteries would go dead pretty fast with the hearing aids and it's only good for about a week. I just throw the batteries away and put new ones in. Other than that, I've been happy with them and I hear a lot of sounds I didn't even know existed.

My fiancee at the time told me about Hear.com and I was very happy about it. They're located here in Miami and that was one of the reasons I chose them. Also, they have inexpensive products and a lot of variety as well. I got the middle one for $4900. I could hear better and the hearing aids made it simpler. And then the customer service experience was great. They completely guided me on the whole thing. The audiologist was great too and the staff was phenomenal. I'd recommend the product and the company. But I returned the hearing aids because we have a lot of expenses coming up and I couldn't afford it at that time.

I got my hearing aids because I can't communicate with everybody when there's a lot of people around. I could hear without them though. I went to try Miracle-Ear a while back, but they were very quiet. Then I ended up with Hear.com because the insurance paid and I only had to pay $1,000 out of my pocket. I had the ones around my ears, but they didn't work out. Then they sent me on that you put in the ears, but it was so big and so I sent them back again. The hearing consultant was very understandable. But, she was supposed to fit another thing in the ear, but she didn't. She gave me the same size as the other ones around the ear that I had before.

But the ones I have now are too noisy. I put it on zero but it's still noisy and I can't concentrate. When my AC goes on or the Frigidaire motor goes on for the ice, I could hear a humming sound. I also have to take them out when I drive. I could hear everything on the exams but with this, they're too loud. I don’t wear them now because I could not handle them and they make me too nervous. All the three hearing aids I got didn't work for me and the all of them were worse than the other.

Hear.com put me in contact with the local provider and she's been very helpful. She got me hearing aids and they work for pretty much everything with the exception of music. I’m a musician and sometimes the instrument doesn’t sound correct when it’s through the hearing aids. But other than that my hearing aids are doing fine and my experience with Hear.com overall has been very good.

I’ve been thinking about having my ears checked out for a couple of years and just never done it. I happened to see Hear.com on the internet, I filled out a form, they contacted me and I went down there. The lady from the doctor’s office was awesome but the doctor was grumpy, I wasn’t impressed with him. He wasn’t thorough and his computer didn’t work so I couldn’t pick up the hearing aid. It’s 45 minutes from me so I ended up having to send somebody down for them later. I wore them but I haven’t worn them for a month now because they don’t go up loud enough so I needed to get them adjusted. And because it’s 45 minutes away, I haven’t dealt with it. I wish Hear.com had somebody in Santa Barbara. Nevertheless, my experience was great.

I've been pleasantly surprised with Hear.com. My experience with them has been topnotch. I got my hearing aids about 10 days after ordering and that’s a very short amount of time. Their customer consultants were friendly, knowledgeable, and very prompt too. However, when I talked to the first gentleman that called, there was a promotion of two years free batteries going on and I had a choice to make. I told him that it was a little premature to make that choice at that time. I said I would opt for the free batteries, but I haven't heard anything back from any of them.

I dealt with hard hearing aids before which were in my canal and they were uncomfortable. I found myself taking them out when I got home from work and then I couldn't hear anybody. I wasn't happy with where I was at and my hearing aid just went out. I wanted to look at other options and went to Hear.com. I spoke with Laurie from Florida and she was very helpful. Then I went for a hearing test at Corpus. I was very pleased with everyone's help and their service.

I got the hearing aid that sits on top of my ear and it's a lot more comfortable. The only disadvantage of them is the wind noise. My hair is short and when I'm out in the wind, the hearing aids pick up a lot of noise. But I can learn to adapt to that and it's not a problem. The hearing aids are effective and they help out tremendously. They have made me hear my grandkids better. The reps from Hear.com would call and check every now and then. I was very pleased with the decision I made to go with Hear.com.

Hear.com was convenient and I needed to purchase a hearing aid then so I decided to go with them. Their consultant was great. I got an in-ear type so you can't tell that anything is there. Since then, my hearing was a lot better. They said that they can only restore 60% of my hearing since it's so bad, but that was down to 90% in one year. Nevertheless, I had a very pleasant experience.

I’d seen hearing aids on the internet and bought another pair that was no good for $400. I just put up with them until I decided I’d have some hearing test done in a place in Jacksonville. The Hear.com people I dealt with were good. It ain't even a week ago when I went over and they cleaned the ends of my hearing aids real good and inspected them, and then charged me nothing. They even put new batteries in them for free. They said if I ever had a problem, they’d do some testing with my hearing aids. But they’re still handy if I use the telephone to adjust them. They got settings that I can use, settings for watching television or if I’m going to a restaurant or if I’m going to be outdoors. Plus a default where they got two bars there, one for each ear that I can adjust the volume up and down, and the bass and treble. So, that’s the way I can fine-tune them myself.

I have to have a smartphone, at least a smartphone 7, to run that software. As long as I have that, the program’s easy to run. It’s only two little different pages on the phone to adjust the phone. They loaded that for me for free on my phone. However, those smartphones are expensive. It cost me around $4,000 for the hearing aids and about $500 for the phone. Nevertheless, my hearing aids are okay. I just have to clean them every now and then. I clean them with a washcloth every time I put them in. Hear.com is a very good place of business that backs up their equipment.

I had one hearing aid before but I didn't remember that I had them in and used it in the shower. I’ve seen Hear.com through a flier and decided to consult with them. Their consultant was very nice and seemed to be knowledgeable and helpful in selecting a few adjusting. The technicians that fitted me with the devices were very knowledgeable, patient and took extra time to make sure that the hearing aids were fit like they should be so I could hear a lot better than before. As a pastor, I talk to a lot of people and I have difficulty hearing female persons but the Hear.com hearing aids enabled me to do so and it felt really good. I hope it would improve my sermons in church. However, I was hospitalized during the trial range and I've been hospitalized ever since, and hearing aids were not allowed so I’m not wearing them now.

My audiologist recommended Hear.com's product. I got the hearing aid that has a clear wire down to the speaker that goes in my ear. It’s grey in structure and the main body sits up behind my ear. The only feature that I like is that the audiologist can program the hearing aid. She can adjust it to different situations. But sometimes I pick up other noises I don’t need that I never used to pick up. But other than that this thing works good and I’m satisfied with it right now.

I heard about Hear.com and I looked it up on the internet and as I started to go through it, it was something that I thought I needed. I tried a variety of different hearing aids. The reps allowed me to use the hearing aid and they wanted me to try it for one week. So after about a week and a half we determined that the left hearing aid that I have wasn't functioning right. The audiologist said she found it strange 'cause she hasn't had that problem. She tried to adjust everything so they sent a brand new pair and they let me use those for two weeks. That's what made me decide to go for Hear.com after a month of wearing them.

Because in the interim, I had been trying other hearing aids. The difference was amazing that other top selling, high end, expensive $6,000 pair hearing aids are when I compare them to the Hear.com one. The previous hearing aid I had was a Sonic and it was okay. But it didn’t do what the Hear.com hearing aids do. Overall, my experience between the sales person I spoke with in Florida and the audiologist I worked with in Cleveland and the hearing aids was superb. I trusted the rep with all my information and I trust Hear.com.

The Hear.com consultant was great. She was so nice about everything and she understood what the situation was with our insurance package. Hear.com was gracious enough to pick up the difference because they weren’t in the network for the audiologist. On the other hand, the audiologist that we went to was a great lady and she’s super nice. My wife’s not an easy person to deal with but she was more than gracious and went above and beyond being patient with my wife. My wife's hearing aids are better and smaller than what she had so she’s happy with them. She loved the Bluetooth feature wherein she hooks up her iPhone to link to her hearing aids. We got something that hooks up to the TV that goes back to her hearing aids as well and she likes that. Overall, my wife loves her Hear.com hearing aids and everything is going great with them.

I got the over the ear hearing aids from Hear.com and I didn't want the inside ones because my hearing is too bad for those. I got the bright red ones. I also have a red '36 Ford Street Rod so I wanted red back out there and reclaim my youth. But Hear.com has a bunch of other colors too. The hearing aids are of great quality but $7000 was outrageous and way too much money for it. They didn't bother me initially except when putting them on and having to leave them there all day. But they came out from my ears too early and too easily and I didn’t like that. In fact, the first week I had them, I couldn't find one and I told myself that I lost it in the house. My roommate was on it, so it was okay, but I was hesitant and I didn't wear them for some time because of that. I could have brought them in, but I was very busy. When I did, Steve, the doctor, adjusted them, fixed that old bad one and put the other caps back on.

Steve did an excellent job and we get along great. He’s also very professional and very competent. His receptionists are very nice and they have a very good building. It's in a nice part of town where the light turns red and people actually stop as opposed to keep going. Hear.com is a great company, their product is very good and I recommend their service.

I made a call to Hear.com and spoke to Melissa, who was wonderful. She told me what I needed to know and she was easy to talk to. I told her that I had a lot of doubts about it because I'm vain. I don't like to admit my age. She told me the advantages and that it wasn't only old people who has to have hearing aids. She was amazing and she called back and checked on me. She also arranged for me to get a pocket kind of remote control to adjust the volume so I didn't have to reach up and touch the back of my ear when I'm talking to a friend at lunch or something. She was very kind, concerned and felt like a friend.

Then I got an appointment with Tony and he convinced me that I wasn't hearing very well and was kind enough to take our budget into consideration. He’s great and very patient with me. It wasn't my imagination with the testing and I got hearing aids. They helped immensely. Hear.com is fine but I'm not a very good client. I'm having trouble remembering to put them in my ears, but I'm trying to get better. I don’t have them on because I need to brush my hair or go out working in the yard.

My husband is a constant nag about it because he has hearing aids and he reminds me so I'll use them more. He lost a hearing aid when he went fishing during warm weather. The bee was around him and he took a swing at it and he hit his ear and his hearing aid flew out and went to somewhere no one knows. He spent hours out there digging around and looking for it in the bushes but he couldn't find it, and it was expensive. Overall, based on my limited experience with Hear.com, I would recommend it to a friend.

And if they couldn't, they got the provider. They're doing what they can to make me happy. Although, the cost is steep and the quality of the product for the first one didn't work out. It wasn't enough hearing for me and you'd be having problems with pairing and hearing it on my phone and the volume going back and forth from ear-to-ear so we sent it in. Hearing was the biggest deal and quality of life has been much better. They've done everything they can to make it a very good experience for me and making sure the product is what I need. My experience with Hear.com was excellent. The person I initially spoke with was Sherylyn and she explained the program well. But I go to James in Georgetown and he’s excellent and very helpful. He always answers the questions and he sees you within 24 hours when you're having problems. I appreciate that because my schedule is horrendous which he has figured out. Everybody says I work hard. I have the Siemens hearing aid. They're the ones that fit behind your ear and they have the little tube that goes into your ear.

I had gone to Miracle Ear first and had a hearing test. I had it a couple years ago and figured out that I had a very mild hearing loss that was getting to be problematic. I based it on my grandson’s volume so I could hear him. When he got more and more irritating, I initiated trying to do something about it. I went to Miracle Ear and it was ridiculously expensive. I checked with my insurance and found out what they would pay. When I didn't go back, they started making deals. I do not like people who do that and I don't like this going in the back room and coming back out with another offer. Give me your best offer right away because I am not going to waste my precious time fooling around with you.

With Hear.com I had the price and James gave me time to think about it. He processed the order and told me that if I change my mind, I have 90 days to get a full refund. So, I tried it to see how it works. I had some trouble at first and he saw me three times a week in the very beginning. It turns out I have one ear canal that is smaller than the other one. So getting the hearing aid to fit was a challenge. Periodically, it gives me trouble and I go back and see him and he helps me figure it out. Sometimes the plastic tubes hold the little thing into your ear. And sometimes, the thing flies out of my ear. So I've had more troubles with the plastic tubes than I've had with the actual hearing aids. Which is sort of interesting but it's the shape of my ear canal and they're not pliable, you can't bend them so that it'll stay in my ear. It's been entertaining.

If I could figure out how to get my audible for my hearing aids, I could do that in my office and nobody would know I was doing it. When I go to those horrible faculty meetings where I just want to zone out, I wouldn't have to put a headset on. I could turn on my phone and nobody would notice. It crossed my mind to try to do that but I haven't done it. I found working with Hear.com very positive. As a matter of fact, I told several people about it. But most of them are older than I am.

I have a friend who is eight years older than I am so she's had hearing aids for 10 years but she had a profound hearing loss. She couldn't hear normal conversations if we were standing next to her. She kept saying, "What, what?" We told her to do something about her hearing. When I started having difficulty, I wanted to do something. She started ignoring people and she would go off in her own little world. That's how you get dementia and I'm not doing that. I want to hear what's going on. I noticed that if I didn't hear what they said, I would ignore it and go on like nothing has happened. And that makes you look like there's something wrong with you. So you need to not do that and see about hearing aids.

Most of the people that I talk to about Hear.com don't want to do it on the internet because they’re older. They're afraid of their phone so that's why most of the people want to go to Miracle Ear and get it. But as the population ages, you get more people that need hearing aids who are internet savvy. They'll get more business because I know a lot of people who were surprised that they can look up a hearing aid on the internet. They didn't know that. I teach nursing. The person that teaches hearing says she’s going to start telling the students that they don't have to find a hearing aid center. They can do an internet search.

I found James at the hearing aid center in Georgetown. He's not that far from my house plus, the drive to Georgetown is much more pleasant than the drive into Austin which was where Miracle Ear was. He’s also more responsive. When I went to Miracle Ear, I had to wait forever and there was nobody there but me. You walk in and there's not a soul to be seen. I look like I'm robbing the place. I sat there for 20 minutes before a girl came out.

Even though James is a one-man show, he knows when somebody opens the door. So, he'll come and say he’ll be with you in just a minute and he’s with someone else. Which is very nice. And if there's not somebody else there, he comes and gets you right away. He's extremely responsive and runs his office in a very professional manner. He didn't have a receptionist. There’s somebody that's there in the morning for a couple of days a week. He meets me after work and he'll even meet me on a Saturday afternoon which is astonishing. I've had a good experience with him. I've already recommended it to a couple of people.

I got hearing aids that goes over the back of my ear, and has a little tube that goes into the canal. The quality is very good. Everything is clearer and I can hear everyone's speech better. However, I think they're really expensive, although that seems to be the going rate for everyone, and it's sad because there were no insurance companies that help with it then. If you can't afford to do that, then you just can't hear and you're deaf.

On the other hand, my hearing care professional gave me all the information. We went over the cost and what I could expect, and then I went back for several visits afterwards with the audiologist. We tweaked it a little bit to make it a little louder and now a little softer. We went back and forth until we got it right, and they were excellent. Hear.com was very receptive to my needs and wanted to make sure that this was something that fit my lifestyle. I don't notice that they're on and feels like I have a pair of sunglasses. That's the nuisance level so, it's not much. I scheduled an appointment with Hear USA to have the aids checked because I haven't had that done since I purchased them. So I did that and I let them take care of it. It was an excellent experience and they were good and caring people.

I got a behind-the-ear hearing aids from Hear.com because with the test we did with the hearing aid guy, he said this worked better and the other ones don't. The one that I got works the best. But I'm not very happy with Hear.com. I don't even wear the hearing aids I got from them. It doesn’t do what I wanted it to do, such as block out background noise. Over the year, this is the fourth one I have gotten and everything's been the same. It's just as good as the others. Normally, I can hear but if I'm in a crowd, I still can't hear people and distinguish who just talked, especially when there are voices of women in the background. There's no problem with him nor the service at all, but I don't think I'm ever going to be made for hearing aids. Overall, they're good.

I had a hearing aid but it wasn't a very good one, I couldn't hear anything with them. I found Hear on the internet and got the Phonak Audeo B. They were able to get me in right away. Where some of the other providers, I was going to have to wait a long time. And it was cheaper. I got two hearing aids this time instead of just one. And I could get at least one of them for half price, so that helps. And that was a big factor for me on choosing them.

I'm actually able to hear with it and I like it all the way around. I have Meniere's disease on top of the hearing loss. So, I'm getting everything under control now. The lady who fit them on me has been really good with me. She took the time to explain everything to me, where the other person just said, "Here's your hearing aid. Go." She made sure I was able to hear and explained how to take care of my hearing aids. I didn't know you're supposed to change the little microphone thing there. After I had it last December I've had to go back because I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. So, she explained to me what it was that I needed to do to get it to keep working. They know what they're talking about.

I read Hear.com's brochures and stuff online and picked them out. I got a small, behind-the-ear hearing aid, and it's very comfortable. I don't even notice it. Most people don't notice it as well because I got glasses on. The sales rep that called me gave me a pretty large discount on them, so I feel good with that, and the person who did the hearing test and the fitting did a wonderful job, too. I used to not hear anything at all, but now, I can hear even if a person's whispering, and it's actually getting better every day. I had a really good experience with Hear.com. They've done a good job of following up and making sure that I'm comfortable with everything, and I still got the warranty on the ear pieces, which I was impressed with. I'd recommend them.

I wanted the kind of hearing aids that stuck in my ears and that nobody would be able to see it. I told Omar, the consultant from Hear.com, how much I hated it 10 years ago and I had a very negative experience with it. And he said that the hearing aids have changed a lot. Then he asked me to give it a try as it's not gonna cost me anything to explore it again. I felt like he treated me respectfully and understood where I was coming from. He was professional, friendly, and I really liked him. I was really glad that he hooked me up with Tommy at Palmetto Hearing. He followed up and was ready to set me up with a really good payment plan, I just happen to have the money in savings so I didn't go that route. He was also very understanding that he found me the place from West Ashley as I didn't want to go to the hearing places in North Charleston. So, he was great.

I absolutely adored the people in Palmetto Hearing and I thought they were wonderful. I felt I got a really good deal in purchasing the hearing aids. My audiologist also thought that it was a really good deal as well for the devices that I got. I bought the Phonak that hangs behind my ear, which was something I absolutely did not want. But they found one that was small and it matched the color of my hair, and people can't see it. I didn't want to have something that looked like I have big bugs behind my ears. I had to have two of them because my hearing is that bad. I was really pleased with how they looked as it's tiny and it worked well. And even when I put my hair up for a while, I thought that people would see and ask about the hearing aids but I never had anybody say like that unless I tell them I'm wearing it. I've got it adjusted once since I've had it. I'm working on saving up my money because I'd love to get the little fob that Bluetooth it to everything and I like the clear little tubes that go through to it as I can't see them.

However, the price was pretty hefty and it's disappointing that insurance doesn't help pay for it. They said the hearing aids could last for at least 6 years before it might wear out or be outdated and I thought that I have to be prepared for the next time. I knew the hearing aids were expensive 10 years ago, but relatively, the price has not increased that much from then and those were precision instruments so I expected some. I paid for about $3,500 for both hearing aids and it would be nice if it’s down to about $1,500. But I'm pleased with what I got.

Part of my job is being able to hear children if they are reading or saying something correctly. So, having the hearing aids impacted my ability to do my job better. Also, socially, there's been a lot of concerts I've avoided, going and doing certain things, especially in a crowd because I knew that I'm not gonna be able to hear a thing and all the noise is gonna drive me crazy. It's much less apt to do that now because I can turn one of my hearing aids to wear it, just like it’s on the person in front of me, and I like that. I also felt like I'm not always saying, "Huh?" or I can look at people in their face. It used to be that I would have to point my head down into the right to hear people. So the hearing aids definitely affected my life in a positive way and I was very satisfied with Hear.com.

I’ve had an excellent experience with the consultant from Hear.com. He gave me all the information I needed. I wanted hearing aids that were completely hidden in the ears but my ear canals were not big enough, so they built the ones that fit in, the ones that go right in the ears. I was very satisfied with them until one fell out of my ear, hit the concrete and shattered. And a week later, the other one cracked so both of them are back in being repaired. I got a hold of the audiologist that I went to initially. Talked them into him. And he said, "No problem. We'll ship them back. We'll get them repaired. And I will call you when they're in." He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional too, like the lady that I talked to initially on the phone with Hear that time. She let me know what it was going to cost me for the hearing aids.

I've had hearing loss since I was a child. I'm 74 years old now. And the wife finally said, "You're going to get hearing aids because I can't stand the loudness of the TV. So, that's basically why I purchased hearing aids. It was a very easy experience with Hear. My wife and I are both satisfied now as I don't have to turn the TV up to 60 or 70 anymore.

I called the number for Hear.com and they referred me to a guy in Tulsa. I really liked the girl from Hear.com that I worked with upfront. She has even called me a couple of times to make sure everything is cool and I have really enjoyed talking to her. The hearing care professional also did a good job and I was very pleased with him. However, after I got the hearing aids, I talked to other people that had bought them locally in Tulsa and got almost exactly the same thing, same features and programming, for almost half of what I paid for mine. That's my only regret. They're a little pricey but the quality is good and I'm happy with them.

I sell drywall materials and a lot of times, I will have a group of guys together and be answering their questions. The hearing aids have helped me a lot to be able to understand them and help them with their needs. Also, I go on a lot of trips with my customers and I feel like I'm more involved in the conversation now. Before, I felt like I was on the outside looking in 'cause I didn't hear half of what was said. I also like the fact that I'm able to turn the aids up or down for a variety of situations. When I need to really make sure I don't miss anything, I turn them up. There's something about the word "Huh?" that gets my wife mad and these hearing aids may have even saved my marriage.

She continued to follow up with me after I got the hearing aids and made sure that things were going well. That was important and the facility she recommended was good. I got the smallest hearing aid that I could find with the best operation and I definitely have a little bit more control over hearing. If I'm in the front of the car and somebody is in the backseat, I can redirect it through a Bluetooth device. It has been nice that it had a Bluetooth device that I can hear. My brother-in-law found Hear.com for me online and I followed up with it. I put the email out, got a call and met Mary. She's a wonderful lady and she's in Florida but she got me all fixed up. Also, she referred me to Olivia and Kurt from American Hearing Aid to get it all set up and they were wonderful. They're so concerned about what's going on, they want to make sure that everything works right and they help me through situations with the hearing aids. They figured that the hearing aids were under a lot of compressions and other issues and got it to work for me. It's the best fit that I can get.

I went with the hearing aid with the little one that flips into your ear, not over the ear because the less thing showing, the better for me. Even though I have hair a little bit longer and did cover over it, I don't want anything over the top of my ear because I wear glasses most of the time during the day. And I didn't want anything to interfere with that. I had a pair before that were over the ear which I gave to my brother-in-law and he's happy with them.

We got all these new TVs that are bigger and better but they don't look so bigger and better to me. I went and had my eyes checked and got a pair of glasses to watch TV which I'm now using a little bit more. Also, I don't hear that quite as well as I used to. I was in construction so, we took a big beating back in the day with all the loud noises and sounds. We as humans don't notice slight differences on our vision or in our hearing and we learn how to adjust. I was talking to Olivia about losing hearing and she said that we learn how to use mouth expression to see what's going on or know the people who are talking to us. In a way, I was reading lips and I was getting by fine. Everything is working fine.

I've recommended Hear.com to friends and they've got hearing aids. I turned this other fellow to Mary and he's gotten hearing aids. Mary also directed Olivia and Kurt to take care of him as well and it's fabulous. Also, I had to have my hearing aids adjusted quite a few times to make it right and Kurt and Olivia kept working with me. They went the extra ten miles to make it right for me and that goes long and you feel comfortable about giving out their names, which was Hear.com. I want good quality stuff and I've got all of that from Hear.com.

I've been wearing hearing aids since the early 90s. The second pair I got eight years ago from another company and I wasn't happy with the. I had to go back to the store for adjustments and the adjustments didn't hold. I would hear better for a day or two then I will go back to having difficulty hearing people so I didn't want to go back to that company. When I was checking Facebook, I saw the advertisement for Hear.com. I checked them out and found out that there were two locations, one in Morrisville and one in Lexington. I felt like the Morrisville location would be better as I wouldn't have to drive on to the interstate. I was also impressed with what I read on their website and felt like I would get hearing aids that would be better than if I went back to the other place.

I've had an interesting experience. The customer consultants who assisted me were very good. Initially, I was interested in the in the ear hearing aids. The audiologist told me that most people like the over the ear and I wasn't against that but I had over the ear before and didn't like them because one of them kept coming out of my ear. But I tried the in the ear and had all kinds of problems and situations. But everybody was so nice and patient with me. I gave it a good try then I got the ones that I'm wearing now about six weeks ago. They're working out very well and are much better than the ones I had before.

Also, in the past, I just saw the practitioner, got generic hearing aids and wore them. But this time, the rep took the time to explain everything to me and told me a lot about hearing aids that I didn't know before. Then she explained about what my needs were and what would be good options. So today I know that there is such a thing as individual fitting of hearing aids although it took a while for me to get the right fit.

I got the over-the-ear type of hearing aids. The in-the-ear just seems to me like I'm wearing cotton in my ears all the time. The cups on these have little holes in it so it doesn't really sound or feel like I've got cotton in my ears. I can actually hear through the hearing aids in addition to the amplified noise or sound. It helps me somehow but right now I'm not real happy with them. I get squealing in one ear and I'm not hearing people as clearly as I thought I would. I also get feedback, distortions like when I listen to a radio and the audiologist says there's nothing wrong with the hearing aids. I went to Hear.com and I liked the specialist who explained all the features in detail. Then we went through a hearing test and he adjusted them. My hearing aid has a piece that goes over-the-ear and then into the ear canal. They're more than I was expecting to pay because it ended up being close to $6,000. But they're higher quality so, the expense was warranted. And I like that it has a feature that allows me to use my phone to control six different areas of noise based off of the environment that I'm in. So, I can be outside or I can be inside in a conference room and it adjusts how the hearing loss gets affected.

Also, the hearing aid has helped. I can especially hear my wife's voice range better and I know the specific sounds that I can no longer hear so, I know how to train my mind better to listen. I've been back to their rep two times, one of them was because it was irritating the ear canal. We swapped out the end piece because there are multiple sizes that you can use and we finally found the one that works right. One other time, I went over to get more training on how to adjust them and since then, it's been great.

She’s been in the business for over 30 years and she knows what to tell me as far as a hearing aid is concerned because the more you wear it, the more it becomes accustomed to what you need and how it adjusts to your hearing or lack of hearing as you progress. She walked me through all of that.

But I don’t wear my hearing aid all the time because if I'm not watching TV or if I'm not going away anywhere, I don’t always put them in. I know I need to, but I don’t. So that’s something I need to basically do on my own and get adjusted with that because it isn't going to adjust to my hearing or the loss of hearing unless I wear them all the time.

It was the style given to me by the gentleman that I talked to when I asked him which hearing he would get his dad. Those in customer service were very cordial, helpful and informative. We didn't waste a lot of time and I was shown different models and different styles of hearing aids. I tested them out and then determined which one I'd go with. It was a very worthy process and it helped me tremendously in terms of my hearing. They have improved my life so much. I’m extremely satisfied with the product.

Hear.com's consultant called me back and we played phone tag for a while. I told him what I was interested in and he set me up an appointment with one of their representatives in Panama City Beach. I came over and she did a complete hearing test. She suggested this and that and the consultant called me back. We decided what we wanted, ordered them, and they took 7 to 10 days to arrive. The service was incredible. Megan, at the place we go to, is terrific. She gets me right the next day and everything went well. I told somebody, "This is the best money I ever spent."

Hear.com worked pretty well. I received an advertisement in the mail and when I checked on it, I found out that they'd finance. The phone call that I made was to Miami and the hearing specialist who works with Hear.com got me in touch with the local representative that deals with their hearing aids. Then, I met with him and he went over everything including the financing. So, I went ahead and got the over-the-ear model. It's the Signia Siemens Pure that he recommended to me. He was the one who originally sent the order and adjusted the hearing aids as well. I'd pay monthly by mailing it in to the finance company that Hear.com partnered with. It has no interest for 24 months and my insurance paid for $2,000 of them. All in all, everything went smoothly and I've had good response whenever I had an issue. I have recommended Hear.com to a friend of mine.

With Hear.com, I could try the hearing aids for 45 days before deciding to get them. I went there yesterday to finalize the ones that I wanted to keep. I’m having a difficult time getting used to sounding like I’m under water. But that’s getting better and the doctor told me that I would adjust to that. I prefer the plug-in as opposed to the over the ear. I like them and I can definitely hear better and that’s the benefit. I would recommend Hear.com.

I had an inquiry about hearing aids and the person from Hear.com who called me was pretty good and I liked what he had to say. The consultant listened very closely which is important to me. He didn't try to push the hearing aids on to me or make a big sale out of it but he heard what I had to say in terms of what I needed. He also made some recommendations and went forward from there. We did some negotiation on the price and he was very helpful with that. I happen to know about hearing aids because that was my field of work also in terms of rehabilitation so, for myself, it came out pretty good.

So far the hearing aids are working out and I haven't had any difficulties with them. I go back to the audiologist and one time they weren't cleaning them properly and it could be better. Then, he showed me how to do that and I've been cleaning that myself now. I've only been there twice and I did everything else on my own. Also, I'm able to control my hearing aid from my cellphone. But what I wanted to have, and I know it's out there, is that when I'm driving, I don't want to be answering the phone by handling the phone because I can do it all via Bluetooth to my car. It's hard to hear when you're driving and with all the background noise, it makes it difficult to hear so, I'd rather have it come right into my ear via Bluetooth. But I'd recommend Hear.com. At least consider them and then make your own comparisons with whatever you have.

I had gone once before to somebody to have my ears checked and had the wax removed. I went back and I did all the hearing tests. The woman said I have good insurance and they’ll pay the $3,000 for hearing aids. She said that with them, I have to pay them and then I can collect from the insurance company. I told her to file with the insurance company but she said she doesn’t do that. So I said, “If I have an insurance that’s going to pay for it, why should I get it out of my pocket?”

Time went on and the wax started to build up again. I contacted Hear.com and they set me up close to where I live. I went there and they took the insurance. The audiologist and the staff were very nice. It was a good experience. But the insurance company sent me the check. I called Hear.com and the woman said I have to give them the check. So I deposited the check and then waited. It took them 24 days before they deposited my check. I called several times and somebody that works there told me this guy goes to the bank only once a month. That was the third day of the month. So I called back again and the woman said it takes 10 days for the check to clear. I told her that the check I got was from New York and that cleared overnight. I told them I’m going to give them three more days and I have to take that money to go to the casino. Then mysteriously, two days after that, my check cleared.

I have an over the ear hearing aid and it was $2,800 for the two aids. I went back and had them tune them down a little bit because when I am in a place where there’s a crowd of people, it’s too loud for me. I could hear the guy in the bathroom and there’s the wind. They adjusted it for me and they were very nice. The service overall has been great but I would tell people to pay in cash and not to give them a check.

A friend of mine's wife was affiliated somehow with the clinic that was Hear.com years ago on the west coast. And when I came here, my hearing was getting so bad that I was going to have to do something about it so I started looking on the internet. I stumbled across Hear.com so I called them. I'm in a weird place in South Louisiana and when I talked to the gal in Florida, she set me up with the clinic here close by. So the convenience and the options on the hearing aids were pretty attractive to me. The customer consultant was awesome and helpful in facilitating any questions I have until now. Everyone has been very professional and I recommended Hear.com to a lot of different people.

But the cost of the hearing aids is ridiculous. Also, I have UnitedHealthcare insurance and I was told that that was going to cover half of the cost of the hearing aids. However, it only covers $600 or so and I'm still not totally sure how all that fit and work out or what they discounted. However, the hearing aids are working well and I've heard sounds that I haven't heard in 30 years. In fact, after I got them, I had to go out of the hotel in Portland where the weather was really windy. There were a lot of trees, it's early spring and cold so the wind was hitting on me. At the time I heard sounds that were kind of rattly then there's a side poll there and I heard the sound made by the clip on it that was clinking against it. Being able to hear those sounds again was almost like stepping back when I was a child.

Also, one of the real advantages of the hearing aids is I get to do a lot of things. I'm a professional pilot so I have to respond to radio calls very quickly and understand what people are saying. And I was getting to the point to where I would hear the radio but there was a lot of mush and I had to listen to things over and over again yet I still couldn't make them out because those tones were totally out of the way. But that's not a problem for me anymore and as the technology moves forward, it's amazing what the hearing aids are allowing me to do, especially the bluetooth feature in it. I also like the smartphone feature.

I've had hearing loss in my left ear for quite a while and Hear.com's advertisement caught my eye. I wanted to see what they could offer me, so they sent me to an audiologist to see what they could do for my hearing. The consultant contacted me after my appointment was done with the company they sent me to. He didn't push me and he asked me if I had some questions. He also said that he can refer me to one of the companies that they worked with.

Hear.com sold me on a hearing aid but it's not working well with the type of hearing loss that I have. I want a hearing aid where I would be able to hear comfortably in a public and private setting. I selected a particular model where it has Bluetooth capability to my smartphone and they explained to me that it's brand new technology. However, it was cutting on and off. The last time that I wore it was a month ago because even though I'm wearing it and I can hear better, it did not really help me. It still sounded the same to me compared to when I wasn't wearing a hearing aid. I told them my concern with regards to the hearing aid that I had chosen and the consultant said he was going to follow-up with Hear.com but that was a month and a half ago and I haven't heard from him.

I'm not blaming Hear.com for my selection. But I stopped using the hearing aid because I had to put this device deep down into my ear canal so that I could supposedly hear better. It seems that my hearing has progressively gone a little bit worse instead of better. Since the device is into my ear canal, I have to turn it up in order for me to hear a conversation.

The representative was wonderful and then it was local, which was even better. I can go on my lunch hour, so I don’t have to miss work. I went in and said that I was not happy with my hearing aids and that I wanted something in my ear. The rep did all the paperwork and I had it four days later and I’m loving them.

People there have been very supportive. I had to call them a couple of times for questions because when I was trying to adjust it as it's making my ear itch. The rep told me that I'm not putting it in far enough. As soon as I start pushing it in a little bit farther, the itch went away. I’m now trying to talk my husband into accepting the fact that he needs hearing aids as well, whether he wants to admit it or not and for him to go through the same program because it has been so worry-free.

I heard of Hear.com on the internet and they sounded like they had a good program so I decided to try it. I was very satisfied with my conversation with their representative. She called, checked up on me and helped me so I appreciated that. She was very accommodating too. I got in-the-ear Phonak because I didn’t want something behind my ear. I had hearing aids before that had this thing over the ear and that hurt my ear when I put my glasses on. I'm liking this one now and the cost is equitable. I'm happy with Hear.com because they seemed like they cared about the hearing aids and how they were functioning.

The quality of the hearing aids is very good. These are the first ones I got through them. The only thing is, right now I'm having problems with the batteries. I didn't buy the batteries from Hear.com, though. The batteries are not lasting as long as the ones that I got when I got the hearing aid. Other than that, it's been a really good experience. They were very knowledgeable and I hope they keep up the good work.

While checking the weather, I saw an ad on my cellphone to take a small test and I responded. I've been wanting to get hearing aids for a long time and my daughters have always wanted me to have better hearing. I've had several concussions throughout the course of my life so I thought it was time to do it. However, I haven't had a very good experience so far. I've had all kinds of issues that I'm hoping to be resolved now.

I went with the Widex before but I wasn't happy with those. I was putting in batteries every two, three days. This is the second pair and it's a ReSound. The company that I have now is better. But I don't have the app where I could adjust them on my phone anymore. When I had some ringing on my left ear, I went on Monday and it was adjusted. And then, I started getting some loud ringing that was almost a squeal. My daughter noticed it and asked what the noise was. I called the doctor and I went there yesterday. He adjusted it and so far so good.

I'm very impressed with their customer service. They're always calling and asking if I'm happy and if I have any issues. June, the lady that called me several times, texted me and sent me emails. Their customer service is impeccable and very quick to respond if I have an issue. They're very good at communicating. The doctor has been wonderful too in helping me with getting my hearing aids be perfect. I'm happy now so far and I'm hoping that continues. I'd recommend Hear.com to anybody. In fact, I have recommended it to the mother of a friend of mine who wants to get hearing aids.

It seemed interesting so we started talking and then I went in and had a look. The customer consultant made sure that I was comfortable with what they were offering. The cost was about the same or just a little lower than what I had been quoted before, but the quality is good. Also, the consultant called and asked how everything was going, if everything was on track and if I had already made my appointment. I always appreciate any kind of followup to make sure that they don’t just call me on day one and then forget about me once they have the sale. Overall, Hear.com has been very professional, accommodating, and willing to help the customer.

The Hear.com customer consultant was great. He was very thorough in his explanation of the program. I had a couple of issues after I received the hearing aids but he helped me work my way through. His wife had formally been an audiologist so he's a little better than some of the others. If I had a question that he couldn't answer personally, all he had to do was check with his wife and then I had an answer immediately. He always called me right back.

However, my left ear is quite a bit worse than my right and I only get about eight hours time out of that rechargeable battery while the other one lasts at least three to four and a half hours longer each day so I'm a little disappointed in that. If I don't take them out of the charger as soon as they finish, they immediately start running down. I was always under the impression that anything kept on a charger would just go on to a maintenance charge, but that's not the case with my hearing aids.

Nevertheless, I had a seamless experience with Hear.com. Their website which I went to to get some general information was very easy to use. My insurance paid fairly well for the hearing aids and I did not even have 50% purchase out of pocket expenses so I'm also well satisfied with that. Plus, the audiologist who I dealt with was very easy to get along with. She was a reference from Hear.com and I'd definitely recommend her, too.

And it turned out that if I don’t go to the appointment then they will have to take the deposit so up to the appointment, they will put the deposit towards my hearing aids and they did exactly what they promised. In the morning, I'm not able to go out without it. It's helped me a lot and I can’t live without it anymore. I also like that it's not wired. I didn't want to use hearing aids before because I don't like wires around my ear, but mine doesn't have a wire and it’s very small. However, I had to send it back to get it fixed twice already. On one side, I couldn't hear anything and the other one stopped. But it's okay now. I would recommend Hear.com to anyone who has a hearing problem.

He has readjusted things and was excellent. However, I'm still trying to tweak them because sometimes, I hear more background sounds than I hear the person in front of me. My wife complains that I don’t hear things when I’m right with her. But I’ll hear birds chirping two blocks away. Furthermore, I think the hearing aids are overpriced as I was hoping that I would instantly be able to hear everything.

Their consultant was also good. He told me exactly what I needed to know and answered my questions straight to the point. The doctor they sent me to was great as well. She seemed to know her stuff well and took time to listen. She also told me that if I have any problems, bring the hearing aids right back and she'll take care of them. I also got what I needed at a price I can afford. I got more out of these hearing aids than I did out of the others because I can wear them.

I worked at Parkland Hospital in Dallas before and I got the hearing aids that were over-the-ear type. They were uncomfortable to wear because I have them over the ears while my glasses were on top of them. They were itching my ears up. The hearing aids that I have now from Hear.com go inside the ear and come out. It's far more comfortable and I'm pleased with it. But every once in a while, it goes canny on me. Sometimes it's hard to tell somebody what I’m hearing when I'm talking. I haven't had the chance to run the hearing aids back to the doctor yet. She did a real good job but you can't catch it all.

I was in the navy in 1982 and the doctors looked at me and said, “You know, you need hearing aids.” I talked to her and said, “What?” She says, “You see what I mean?” So, I failed a hearing test and I had hearing aids years ago. Six months of going over to Seattle from here for four times is not an easy trip for the doc to get it to work. If you have me up on a ladder, doing the job and the boss is screaming at me from down below, I can’t hear him and I can’t understand what he says. Finally, I got those hearing aids, sent them back. I also had hearing aids in the 80’s which was high quality and top of the line but I couldn’t make it work and so I never really had very good experiences until I had Hear.com's hearing aids. When I first wore them, it was great though I got a little itch. I have had it for a long time now so I’m used to them and they’re working just fine.

I first learned about Hear.com when I got an email and they were talking about Seniors Corporation getting involved in hearing aids. Being a retired electrician I’ve heard a lot about it. So, I checked this one out. I talked to a representative on the phone and the way he presented it and the fact that I didn’t have to go over to Seattle to get a hearing test made me go for it. I could go up north, which is a whole lot easier trip. It’s convenient. In terms, we talked about paying things back and how much they’re going to cost.

There were several follow up calls from the representative from Hear.com asking how things are going. The doctors and staff kept setting up to follow exams in a convenient time. Being retired is not too bad so, I had the time. It was convenient and they couldn’t make it any easier for me. It’s a good deal all the way around like I put these things in. You lower your hearing aids at first, set up your computers and get on it. My niece came in and she had them all set in the first day and I’ve been wearing them since. I take them out at night, put them in in the morning. The terms of paying this thing back has also been very good. I have no problems at all and I recommended it to my friends. When my friend got here, he asked where I got them and I showed him all the literature that I had and how I did it.

The quality of these hearing aids exceed anything I’ve ever tried before. This entire thing has been working out good for several months. It gives you that little tone and it’s time to change the batteries. It takes a minute or two. The only down part to this is changing the batteries. But I’ve been very happy with the product and the people that I dealt with. The employees from Hear.com have been very professional, courteous and made this whole process very simple, easy and almost painless.

Otherwise, on a daily basis, I don't need it that much. The product is fine but there was trouble when I dealt with their sales consultant. The gentleman told me through the phone that I can get a five-year warranty, that I can have so many visits for free and that everything would work when I got it. I said "fine" and he then gave me the address for the product. So I went down there to the new office in Rochester and the lady didn't even know I was a customer and that I had already bought it. They were also telling me I got to pay $50 each visit.

I told her to hold on and that I came in there because they were supposed to have my hearing aids. So then she called the main office, found out I had bought it and she said I'd come back two weeks from then. Then when I came back, there were things that weren't there. And then when they got it, they didn't notify me that it was already there. Two weeks later, I stopped there and they said they had it. So that was four weeks when I finally got it. That was really bad. I was not satisfied. Also, I don't have anything on paper so I don't know where I have to go to get the warranty.

I had my first appointment in Manteca and had my hearing tested. The guy at Hear showed me the difference in my hearing level. On the bass part of my hearing, it was just plain, but in the higher octave, it was pretty poor. I was told that I won't be able to hear perfectly but I'll be able to hear better. He showed me the graph and where I was and what the hearing aids would do for me. It was like down one-third and by putting the hearing aids in, it would increase to two-thirds.

The hearing aids that I got are the ones you insert in the ears and they're really tiny. They're only about a half inch long and once I put them in, they become little clips that hold up to the inside and hook over the top of the ear. You can hardly see it and a lot of people think that it’s a part of my glasses. Hear have some that are a little bigger but cost about three times more.

The people there were very good, helpful, courteous, prompt, and answered any questions I had. I didn’t feel like I was pressured to buy anything. I can try the hearing aids for a few days and if I'm not happy, I can bring them back since I got a warranty. But after wearing them for a while and comparing where I had been with them, I'm doing much happier and better with the hearing aids so I put them in all the time now. It made a great difference even though I can't hear everything perfectly. I've told my wife a number of times that I'm so thankful that I was able to find these to fix my ears. I could hear much better like during preaching at church and watching TV.

When I was at a funeral, people were talking to me in groups but when they start talking low and even one whispered to me, I kept turning my good ear so I can hear. I said "this is not right" then I saw that Hear.com had a 90-day trial and that if I didn't like it I could send it back. So I gave it a shot. I knew it was gonna cost me a ton of money so I looked for promotions from the bank and got CIBC to pay 80% of my insurance policy. So I went back to Hear, set up the thing and they were running a promotion where if I buy one hearing aid, I get the other one half-price. But then something else went wrong. They gave me nice breaks and I wound up paying less than $1000 for the two pairs, then insurance kicked in, then they gave me the promotion and two years to pay it off. That's where I'm at with them.

But now, everything, like music, sounds great on it. I'm happy with the hearing aids which is the behind the ear model. I love my hearing aids but easyTek, the app, is not user-friendly. If I press this button, what does it do, then this part of the app pops up in demo mode, then I have to shut demo mode if I wanna connect it as it says I have to leave demo mode and go in, so I have to say yes. I had an incident the other day which was my fault. I wasn't cleaning the little round part of the hearing aid well and it was blocking the sound coming out. So I went down to Hear USA who gave me a toothbrush and told me to use it which makes a lot of sense. It works better than a cloth. Its bristles might be a little softer than a regular toothbrush and it cleans better because it can get in the pool of the grooves with it. Originally, what came with the hearing aid pack was a micropore but that didn't clean well.

I had a very good experience with the Hear.com customer consultants and they were very helpful. I had a lot of questions and they answered everything. They took their time with me and I didn't feel hurried. They even gave me a good discount on hearing aids and helped with the financing so everything was great. Using the hearing aid from Hear.com has enabled me to understand what people are saying. Previously, I could hear noise but I couldn't pick up every word. I also had a hard time hearing when I go to church. It was embarrassing to say "Huh?" all the time and so I would quit and act like I knew what I was hearing. Now, I hear very well and I can really tell the difference when I take the hearing aids out. It also feels better to go out with people and not have to say "Huh?" all the time. It's been a good experience. I've already recommended them to my sister because she really needs them and two of us in my family are now wearing aids.

I have the behind the ear hearing aids with a wire that comes around into the canal. They're from Hear.com and they have been great. The aids were recommended to me because I still have a decent range in the low tones. If I wore an all in-the-ear, it would block out those low tones and I would be completely dependent on them.

It's been over 45 days since I started my trial and it's been interesting. I've been without aids for three weeks and they haven't been coordinated since December the 6th. The consultant has been good, though, but the response has been slow from Hear.com. Every time I send my aids in for a repair or a new dome, it takes at least three weeks. My old set of aids won't sync and I can't get one aid to coordinate with the other. Now Hear.com is sending me a new set of aids and they want me to send them the other set of aids, but then that leaves me without any. I told them that if was going to take three weeks, I wasn't going to do it. We convinced them that I'll send my old set back once I get my new set.

The funny part that I've discovered was I was supposed to have a 45-day free trial but I was charged for the aids right away. When I got my bill on my credit card, the $3600 and whatever was already charged there. I love the hearing aids and I love being able to hear. I've worn them from the first day, all day, every day. However, I wasn't really excited about paying for them when I was supposed to get a free trial.

I also know people are watching me and wondering why I kept touching my ear. Other than that, the hearing aids have been very helpful. I don't have to have it up so loud and I’m now able to hear my Xfinity box. I have tinnitus and when I wear the hearing aids, I don't have as much as that hissing sound in things that I suffer with. It helps me forget that I have that condition when I have my hearing aids. Also, everybody from Hear.com was nice and I want to thank them for being there and giving me a wonderful and excellent experience. I will recommend them.

I was doing something on the internet and one of Hear.com's ads popped up. I put my email address on there and I got a call within 20 minutes. They called me back and made an appointment to go see a local outfit for a hearing test. The folks that helped me with the hearing aid were very attentive and very thorough. They're local folks here in Atlanta. I have a condition called Meniere’s disease, which is pretty awful, and my hearing has gotten progressively worse in one ear. I can barely hear anything and constantly ask to have something said repeated. That's why I was interested in the hearing aids. Somebody did a hearing test on me because I've been going through this for the last four years.

For the last hearing aids I bought through Hear.com, I asked for an extension of the trial period, which they gave me, and I finally opted to purchase them. However, they're not helping me a whole lot. I was at a social gathering this past Saturday night and I had to take the hearing aids out because I couldn’t understand what anybody was saying. I've got an appointment in the next month to go back for another tuning and tweaking. I went up to see the local folks here five times to tweak it so I could hear, but my condition is not a straight line hearing loss. I've got tinnitus and loss of hearing in one ear. The other ear is pretty good, though, so we're trying to balance that. I've got two hearing aids and I'm trying to use the hearing aid in the bad ear and leaving the other ear open. Overall, I'd recommend Hear.com.

People started sending stuff after I went online and Hear.com came around. I was checking them out, and I went there and they were a little bit better than the other company. Their customer consultants were good. They let me know everything that was going on, kept me updated, and called once in a while. I got the hearing aid style that was the second or third from the best one. It has a Bluetooth that I can hear through my phone.

I haven't been able to hear certain sounds since I was four years old and when I got the hearing aid, it was way different because I could hear all kinds of sounds things that I hadn't heard before and and people talking. I didn't realize there would be a big difference in my hearing, but it's been great for me. The hearing aid was expensive, but other than the price, everything's been working out. I even forget that I have them in half the time since I'm so used to them. Overall, it has been very helpful.

I saw Hear.com on Facebook then I made a call to find out more about them. A lady called me back and we talked about it and set up an appointment with a local doctor. I like the doctor, he's very good. He didn't suggest the In-the-Ear type for me and told me that the other one would work better. I went with his preference and ordered the hearing aids through him then Hear.com sent them to him.

I've had hearing aids for probably 15 years but I never wore them because I didn't like them. I have a couple of businesses so I'm constantly on the phone and talking on the phone with hearing aids is not a lot of fun. But now I really like the hearing aids from Hear.com and wear them every day because they got the Bluetooth and they play right into my ear from my iPhone or from the telephone, which really worked well. So overall, it was a good experience. Nobody wants to wear hearing aids but it worked and I'm happy with the aids, the process, and the whole deal.

What got me interested was an internal ear canal type unit and I ordered two hearing aids. One of them had to be an external one and the other one I was assuming to be in-the-canal unit. When they came in they were both external. I hate the looks of hearing aids. It’s almost like one has a defect. I was initially disappointed in not receiving the in-canal unit, but since then I’ve gotten over that. It’s not a vanity thing. I just despise the look. The problem with the ordering was from the audiologist and not from the supplier.

I got Hear's one set of hearing aids where the foam fits in the internal part of my ear which is more comfortable. When I wore a helmet while riding a motorcycle, the ones behind the ear just smashed between my ear and hurt. Lee, the guy that took the call for me and has followed up, has been phenomenal. He calls me several times to make sure things were going right. I'm still struggling a little bit with the hearing aid because when I use the internal part style, it's a completely different thing to get used to. It'd be like sticking your fingers in your ear and talking. So even though I hear fine, it sounds like my ears are plugged when I talk so my voice sounds different.

I also still get a lot of ringing when I put my hand over my ear. Sometimes when I hold my phone up to my ear, I get that squeal which is irritating. I was told that they make another style that also goes into the interior of the ear but it doesn't block the whole ear canal. They give a 45-day trial and I was still hemming and hawing if it's me or am I trying to get used to it. Now, I'm over my 45 days. Had I still been in that trial period, I would try the other models.

It's great not to have to do that now because when I saw Hear.com on Facebook last August, I thought they've come a long way with hearing aids now so why not find out? So I called their number and I'm glad I did.

Talked to a very pleasant and very professional lady and she set me up to be tested. My husband and I both got our hearing aids at the same time last September and these are the best investment we've made. I've heard sounds I haven't heard in 20 years with it. I remember the first one I heard when I walked outside the doctor's office was a bird chirping and I haven't heard that in 20 years. However, my husband had a few problems with his hearing aids because the tip-ins were either a little too big or too little. But Hear.com changed them and he ended up going back about five times to get the sound and everything adjusted properly. But mine has been perfect from the day they put them in my ears.

And because of the way that my ear kind of is, the doctor said he was going to try to make it as small as possible. It is still noticeable outside. And I’m still paying the same amount for the one that I was supposed to get and I didn’t get it. But Nicole, my Hear.com consultant, lead me to the right direction.

James was following all my steps until the very day I made the purchase. When I told him about my finances, he said they could take credit and I can apply. Luckily, they did until I made my purchase. Anytime I called him for an advice on what to do, he was there for me.

The custom-made hearing aids fitted beautifully and wearing them is like opening a blind man's eyes. I hear better now and feel comfortable where I am. I don't have to turn my other ear to listen to anybody. All that was said about after getting the hearing aids, I actually experienced that. I should have gone in a long time for a hearing aid. On the other hand, I have a little problem with the price so they said they were going to help me halfway. They decided to give me something which I could use which is worth almost $400 but unfortunately, I cannot use those items. If I could send it back for my future batteries, that would definitely help me than the parcel they gave me. I still have it with me and haven't used it.

The ad that took my eye was a hearing aid that I could stick in my ear and forget about, but these are not the kind that I stick in my ear and forget. It's a little gadget that hangs behind my ear, but I actually go to bed with them. And when I heard a strange noise, it was my hair rubbing. I've also had some water problems in the house and I thought, "What is that noise?" I got up and thought the noise has gone away. Then it dawned on me, it's the hearing aids. Another thing was I thought I needed a new dryer because it wasn't telling me when it was done and I needed somebody to come look at it, but no, I just wasn't hearing it.

I knew I wasn't hearing, but I didn't know how much I was not hearing. Additionally, I was at a stoplight and there was a big 18-wheeler coming up alongside me. Prior to this hearing aid, I would not have heard the truck. There were a number of things that I didn't hear, but now, I hear great and the hearing aids are totally comfortable. I'm very pleased with them and the whole experience was very good.

Hear.com talked to me about the all in the ear hearing aid. I was then sent to Lori's business and the hearing aid I got was fine and it's placed in the ear but it's still visible. Since using the hearing aid, I can hear people talking to me, even in the car. Before, I could never do that. But I don’t like the hearing aid person I was dealing with. Her name was Lori but she was helpful and knew what she was doing as far as the hearing aid part. However, after she lost her front assistant Shelly, she had no idea what the stuff that Shelly was doing for her. And it took two hours the last time we were in her shop and she fired on everybody that went in the shop because she was so far behind. Then there was another guy who came in and wasn't on an appointment. I didn't know how long he had to sit and wait because our hearing aids weren't done yet that time.

Hear.com advertised that they would give an ear examination and see whether hearing aids are needed or not. The audiologist was excellent and knew what she was doing. Their reps were very good, too. If I have a problem, I call up and they tell me to come right down. I'm happy that I'm dealing with them.

I got one hearing aid from Hear.com, it's on my left ear. I went to a number of different places to get it. There's the Hear.com, the loan place that I bought the thing through and the actual doctor that I went to. They all kind of connected in some fashion and it all worked out. The rep I worked with was awesome. I called her a couple of times about the billing and the doctor and she knew all her stuff. She helped a whole lot.

I filled out Hear.com's questionnaire online and they contacted me. They referred me to a doctor and I've had no troubles. However, I had to change my hearing aid since the first one that I got wasn't doing what I wanted. But I have no complaints with my new one. And while I didn't notice a huge difference in using it, my family told me there's a big difference because I'm not asking them, "What? Huh? What did you say?" all the time. The fact that I didn't notice it is a good thing, but other people noticing is even a better thing. I just went about my normal life and it blended right in.

I've been bugged to get hearing aids and my experience with Hear.com has been good. I hear a little bit better with it and it's helped me but sometimes I could not hear my wife. I've had the hearing aids adjusted for different frequencies and higher pitches and that has helped me immensely. But I need to go back in the shop because three times now, the left hearing aid has shut off and started back up. And it's not consistent. It's been like this for one and a half month months. I told Hear.com about it one time and they're wondering what it might be. I told them I'd just continue using it but now it hasn't acted up. And I get a certain tone in my ear when I put the battery in.

But everything has gone fine with the customer service team except with the rep named Allen who told me that he was going to send me a charger and rechargeable batteries after I make the 45 days. Three days later after he told me he'll get them for me, I received many packs of regular batteries. I emailed him back saying it wasn't what was promised to me and I never heard from him again.

I got over-the-ear hearing aids from Hear.com. The rep who assisted me was very helpful and considerate. She always responded to any inquiry promptly and had the information available. The company saved me a little under 2,000 on the retail process of the hearing devices. If I'd gone to a hearing specialist, the hearing aids would have cost a little over $6,000. I paid about $400 to $800 to them and it still included the hearing expert's services. They've contracted with retail hearing services to perform the same work for less than they usually do. I got the hearing aids in about a week which was fast. The experience with them has been reassuring and entirely pleasant.

I walk all day long and I'm around many people so it helped a lot. But the problem is that the battery runs out too fast and sometimes I don't have time to keep changing the battery. I got my Siemens hearing aids a couple of months ago from Hear.com and their customer service was excellent. My customer consultant, Amber, would always touch base with me every time she knew I had an appointment. She was very good to deal with. She made herself available at odd hours because of the hours that I work. My only disappointment is that I have a 45-day complete money back guarantee. About two weeks after that expired, I found out that I actually have hearing aid insurance. I had paid full-price and I could have saved about $1000. If I’d been in the 45-day period, I would’ve simply returned my hearing aid. And then my insurance covers about six or seven different brands. It did not cover the brand that I got. Given that I’ve never worn one before, it didn’t matter to me which brand I got. But that isn’t necessarily an issue with Hear.com.

My left hearing aids fell out. It's been lost and this has been close to two months at this point. I contacted Hear.com right away. I bought my set from Alex and I was told to pick my hearing aids up at HearUSA. They were extremely nice and efficient. They were very good. But, to this point, I still don't have the left one. Alex never called me back. I also talked to a lady named Dianne. She got permission of the supervisor to replace it for $250 and when I called back, nobody knew anything. Everything was set up with HearUSA, and then I got a call where they said they didn't have the credit card number. Well, they had one on file. I know they did because I gave them one when I bought this set. They've wasted four days at this point.

It's six weeks into this deal. I've been waiting for another hearing aid through all this time because I need two of them. Last Tuesday, I talked to someone down there. I waited two hours at HearUSA to get an answer from somebody. The girl at HearUSA had been talking to them down South so they were supposed to overnight it to me. But they couldn't because it was too late due to the time difference. I understand that. So, the next day, they were supposed to overnight it to me and it should have been there on Thursday, but it's not there.

I have never been jacked around so much in my life. I went so far as to try to buy another one at Costco and they said they won't match. So, honest to God, I'd rather take a bullet than do business with these people again. I'm retired now, but I used to own a company. And if I operated like them, I wouldn't be in business. I was recommending them to a lot of people, but I canceled it all. I will never, ever buy from them again.

The representative in Florida was really good and the financing worked for me. There was no way that I was going to get a cheap pair of hearing aids and go without financing, so it all worked out pretty good with Hear.com. I talked to the customer consultant a number of times over the phone, and he set me up with an audiologist in Godfrey, Illinois. I spent a lot of money for my hearing aids, but the product I got works great.

There are four different settings on my app. There's the All Around, then there's one called Party, and that seems to work better for me for filtering most of the background noise. Another one is Music, but that one doesn't really do it. I'd be in a crowded clubhouse where there's a pool table and music playing over in a corner, so it can get pretty noisy there, but this setting seems to be the best one that works here, since it keeps every sound down to where I can still hear everything, but at least now I can hear somebody at the end of the counter, if they say my name or something else, so it's really cool. With the whole experience I had with Hear.com, from the representative in Florida to the audiologist, I'd recommend them. The only thing I gripe about is the high interest rate on the financing but they still give me the option to pay the whole thing off till April if I had the money.

Initially, a rep from Hear.com called me, and I had no problem with her. However, I wasn't happy with the office people where I went. I set up an appointment to have the hearing test and didn't like the attitude of the rep on the phone. She sends me the comment, "You know our hours. You knew them before you signed up." They're only open around 8:30 to 5:00 and I had a very hard time getting there at that time. Then it took me a long time to order the hearing aids, and I had problems when I got them.

They were going to give me 45 days to test the hearing aids out to see if I wanted them or not. They were very uncomfortable for me and I couldn't wear them. I hardly ever did. I wore it one Sunday for the whole day but didn't wear them to work because I work in construction. I figured when I get home, then I'd wear them for the rest of the night. But the hearing aids always bothered me. I was always pulling them in and out of my ears. I went back and they made some adjustments, and it felt better. But as I wore them a bit longer, they became very uncomfortable too. When it was getting towards the end, I wanted to return them, and they told me they make custom ones. I said, "Well, you can make them but I want some more time to check and make sure they're comfortable with me and I can wear them." They said they'd give me two weeks, but I haven't been in there yet to pick them up. That was on the 5th of December.

On the 22nd of December, I called and asked, "Have my hearing aids come in? What is going on? I haven't heard anything." And they told me, "Oh, yeah. They just came in." So I don't know if they just didn't call me or what the situation was. I was asked if I could come in on Friday to pick them up, and I said no because I was going to be out of town. So the rep made an appointment with me on a Tuesday at 4:00. I drove over to their office at 4:00 where I met them three other times and they said they moved to Hinsdale. I went, "Well, that's great. They didn't even tell me." At that point in time, I had places to go and I knew it was going to take me 20 minutes to get there so I drove home.

I called them up and they didn't answer. I left them a message and they never called me back. I waited 20 minutes and figured by that time they had plenty of time to call me back but they never did. When I got to speak to someone, I told the rep it would have been nice if they told me they moved. The rep said, "Oh, well. We told you when we made the appointment with you." I said no, they didn't. Then I said I couldn't make it anymore as it was already 4:25. She asked about Friday, I said I couldn't make it. She asked about Monday at 8:00 and said they're all coming early for me, then I said that was fine. I've not been happy with the whole experience.

In fact, I've even gone to bed a few times with these things and then realized that I had these on when I got to bed.
