    Initially, a rep from Hear.com called me, and I had no problem with her. However, I wasn't happy with the office people where I went. I set up an appointment to have the hearing test and didn't like the attitude of the rep on the phone. She sends me the comment, "You know our hours. You knew them before you signed up." They're only open around 8:30 to 5:00 and I had a very hard time getting there at that time. Then it took me a long time to order the hearing aids, and I had problems when I got them.

    They were going to give me 45 days to test the hearing aids out to see if I wanted them or not. They were very uncomfortable for me and I couldn't wear them. I hardly ever did. I wore it one Sunday for the whole day but didn't wear them to work because I work in construction. I figured when I get home, then I'd wear them for the rest of the night. But the hearing aids always bothered me. I was always pulling them in and out of my ears. I went back and they made some adjustments, and it felt better. But as I wore them a bit longer, they became very uncomfortable too. When it was getting towards the end, I wanted to return them, and they told me they make custom ones. I said, "Well, you can make them but I want some more time to check and make sure they're comfortable with me and I can wear them." They said they'd give me two weeks, but I haven't been in there yet to pick them up. That was on the 5th of December.

    On the 22nd of December, I called and asked, "Have my hearing aids come in? What is going on? I haven't heard anything." And they told me, "Oh, yeah. They just came in." So I don't know if they just didn't call me or what the situation was. I was asked if I could come in on Friday to pick them up, and I said no because I was going to be out of town. So the rep made an appointment with me on a Tuesday at 4:00. I drove over to their office at 4:00 where I met them three other times and they said they moved to Hinsdale. I went, "Well, that's great. They didn't even tell me." At that point in time, I had places to go and I knew it was going to take me 20 minutes to get there so I drove home.

    I called them up and they didn't answer. I left them a message and they never called me back. I waited 20 minutes and figured by that time they had plenty of time to call me back but they never did. When I got to speak to someone, I told the rep it would have been nice if they told me they moved. The rep said, "Oh, well. We told you when we made the appointment with you." I said no, they didn't. Then I said I couldn't make it anymore as it was already 4:25. She asked about Friday, I said I couldn't make it. She asked about Monday at 8:00 and said they're all coming early for me, then I said that was fine. I've not been happy with the whole experience.

    I'm doing well with my hearing aids from Hear.com and it's been great. I'm very satisfied. I went with the smallest behind-the-ear style. There were about four types that were recommended to me based on my hearing characteristics and I chose the one that was the most advanced and consequently the most expensive. I've had a number of appointments with them and I'm getting very close to my hearing prescription. I'm hearing much better now and I'm very comfortable with my hearing aids. In fact, I've even gone to bed a few times with these things and then realized that I had these on when I got to bed. Craig from Hear.com has been in contact with me to see how I'm doing and to ask if he can provide any further help. But the real asset here has been a guy named Don at Modern Hearing Solutions in Powell, Wyoming who personifies my experience with Hear.com. He has been absolutely terrific.

    I haven't been wearing the hearing aids I got from Hear.com much as I'm lazy about putting on the aids. They itch me and I can't get the right one in. It doesn't want to stay in and I'm always having to pat it to see if it's up there. I don't want to lose them and I think it needs some adjusting. The wire is too short or too long and it doesn't fit snugly. I'm sure the hearing aids are good except that one that I'm having trouble with. Also, I still can't catch a lot of conversation that I was hoping that I would be able to but I know it's not going to be 100% and I understand that.

    My wife has been on me for a couple of years about getting hearing aids. My sister ended up getting hearing aids and she made recommendations for me, but I thought I'd try Hear.com. Their website was very simplified. The gentleman I spoke to was very knowledgeable and helpful. He gave me a lot of information to help me understand what the procedures were and what to expect. Also, what really got me was the 24-month free financing. Basically, it worked out good because I love these hearing aids that I got. I love the fact that I can control them with my iPhone.     I've been using hearing aids for about 12 years and now I've got an over-the-ear from Hear.com. I've had a good experience with the Hear.com customer consultant. I was sent to a well-qualified audiology place where the rep showed me some hearing aids and recommended one. I talked to Gina at Hear.com and we talked about price. Their pricing is a little less than other hearing aids I've got in the past. It took 2-3 days before I got the aids.     I've had a wonderful experience with Hear.com. I came across them when I was looking for a place that would do a free hearing test - a good one. And Hear.com provided that. Their customer consultant was unbelievably good. She was extremely in touch and helpful. With my hearing aids, I can hear my grandchildren talk and can listen to Pandora all day long. If I'm listening to the radio and a call comes through, the radio fades out. I get a ring and just hit a button to answer the call. I have the Bluetooth capability and it's really neat.

    The reps at Hear.com were pleasant to deal with but they're never specific about pricing. I was told that it would be one thing and they charged my credit card. Then, down the road, the insurance didn't pay as much as I thought they would. I said I'm not paying anymore and right now, I'm still not sure if the financial part has been squared away yet. Moreover, they would call me that the audiologist that I was referred to would give me the pricing while I never received it from them. It never seemed like I could get anything straight from Hear.com also, not even a good old email with real numbers in it, and it's disappointing that way.

    I haven't been pleased with Hear.com and I don't know if I could recommend them. I've dealt with other internet companies on hearing aids before and I had a wonderful experience. I've even read on the internet that people are asking if Hear.com are kind of a scam and I don't know what to think. Other than that, I've got the hearing aids that I'm happy with.

    The reps from Hear.com were great. The lady at the desk and the man I talked to were both very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. However, the hearing aids don't do much for me. I got the $6,000 ones and the batteries are always dead. I tried them once, and didn't use it for about a week, then the batteries were dead. My wife also tells me my hearing isn't any better. I got friends that have $300 ones and they work perfect. I don't know what's wrong. The experience was good and I'm satisfied with the people that I worked with. However, the hearing aid just doesn't work out for me.

    Hear.com's pricing was good and the doctor was very kind, compassionate, and helpful. However, I have not purchased from them. I tried to start the process, but I came to find that the HR person where my husband works, misinformed us on our insurance. I was told since February that my insurance was supposed to have covered the purchase on hearing aids for my husband and for myself, and then the last two weeks of December at the very last minute, we finally got a hold of somebody and found that I was not covered. Hopefully, something will work out better with the new insurance that I have. I'm just going to have to start all over again.

    I liked the prices at Hear.com and their consultants were well-versed in the hearing aids. The guys at the place that I picked the hearing aids up from has been working with me really well. I'm very hard to fit and my hearing is very unusual. They said they only had one other person with the hearing like mine. When they take out some of the tones, it takes out too much. I'm supposed to go back next week and they're gonna tweak the hearing aids some more. My experience has been good with Hear.com. I have recommended them to several people.

    I told Hear.com the brand of hearing aid I was interested in and they gave me a number of providers, one of which I wasn't aware of, which I went to. They actually set up the appointment with the hearing aid provider. I went there and had a hearing aid test and selected the hearing aids. Hear.com did a good job of following up, checking with me, and providing me with information and answering any questions that I have. I'm very satisfied.
