I had very good interactions with the Hear.com consultants and I got one of their most expensive hearing aids because it was less visible. The hearing aids have improved my life though I've spent almost $6,000 on them. Hear.com has partnered with a company in Tampa where I live and one of the things I asked them when I got the hearing aids was if I need the insurance policy to cover it. They told me that everything is guaranteed for three years even if I lose them since it was part of the package. Then, one of the hearing aids got ruined and they're telling me that they weren't insured. I live next to the water and I'm on a boat all the time. I don’t want to fall off and be in the water and not be insured. I'm very dissatisfied right now and I'm in a battle with them trying to figure out who's gonna get me my new hearing aids because they don't want to replace them.

I was having a hearing problem, and I went to an audiologist and we had a very big personality conflict. So, I was not going back there. I went and had my ears tested by an eye, ear, nose and throat specialist and he said allergies. Allergies don't always cause hearing loss to the extent that I had. So when I saw Hear.com through my iPad, I went and it was absolutely the most wonderful thing. The audiologist knew what she was doing and did an excellent job. They fit me with hearing aids and I love them.

I certainly would recommend this to anybody else that was interested in hearing. The ad that took my eye was a hearing aid that I could stick in my ear and forget about, but these are not the kind that I stick in my ear and forget. It's a little gadget that hangs behind my ear, but I actually go to bed with them. And when I heard a strange noise, it was my hair rubbing. I've also had some water problems in the house and I thought, "What is that noise?" I got up and thought the noise has gone away. Then it dawned on me, it's the hearing aids. Another thing was I thought I needed a new dryer because it wasn't telling me when it was done and I needed somebody to come look at it, but no, I just wasn't hearing it.

I knew I wasn't hearing, but I didn't know how much I was not hearing. Additionally, I was at a stoplight and there was a big 18-wheeler coming up alongside me. Prior to this hearing aid, I would not have heard the truck. There were a number of things that I didn't hear, but now, I hear great and the hearing aids are totally comfortable. I'm very pleased with them and the whole experience was very good.

Hear.com talked to me about the all in the ear hearing aid. I was then sent to Lori's business and the hearing aid I got was fine and it's placed in the ear but it's still visible. Since using the hearing aid, I can hear people talking to me, even in the car. Before, I could never do that. But I don’t like the hearing aid person I was dealing with. Her name was Lori but she was helpful and knew what she was doing as far as the hearing aid part. However, after she lost her front assistant Shelly, she had no idea what the stuff that Shelly was doing for her. And it took two hours the last time we were in her shop and she fired on everybody that went in the shop because she was so far behind. Then there was another guy who came in and wasn't on an appointment. I didn't know how long he had to sit and wait because our hearing aids weren't done yet that time.

I've been bugged to get hearing aids and my experience with Hear.com has been good. I hear a little bit better with it and it's helped me but sometimes I could not hear my wife. I've had the hearing aids adjusted for different frequencies and higher pitches and that has helped me immensely. But I need to go back in the shop because three times now, the left hearing aid has shut off and started back up. And it's not consistent. It's been like this for one and a half month months. I told Hear.com about it one time and they're wondering what it might be. I told them I'd just continue using it but now it hasn't acted up. And I get a certain tone in my ear when I put the battery in.

But everything has gone fine with the customer service team except with the rep named Allen who told me that he was going to send me a charger and rechargeable batteries after I make the 45 days. Three days later after he told me he'll get them for me, I received many packs of regular batteries. I emailed him back saying it wasn't what was promised to me and I never heard from him again.

And while I didn't notice a huge difference in using it, my family told me there's a big difference because I'm not asking them, "What? Huh? What did you say?" all the time. I got over-the-ear hearing aids from Hear.com. The rep who assisted me was very helpful and considerate. She always responded to any inquiry promptly and had the information available. The company saved me a little under 2,000 on the retail process of the hearing devices. If I'd gone to a hearing specialist, the hearing aids would have cost a little over $6,000. I paid about $400 to $800 to them and it still included the hearing expert's services. They've contracted with retail hearing services to perform the same work for less than they usually do. I got the hearing aids in about a week which was fast. The experience with them has been reassuring and entirely pleasant.

I got my Siemens hearing aids a couple of months ago from Hear.com and their customer service was excellent. My customer consultant, Amber, would always touch base with me every time she knew I had an appointment. She was very good to deal with. She made herself available at odd hours because of the hours that I work. My only disappointment is that I have a 45-day complete money back guarantee. About two weeks after that expired, I found out that I actually have hearing aid insurance. I had paid full-price and I could have saved about $1000. If I’d been in the 45-day period, I would’ve simply returned my hearing aid. And then my insurance covers about six or seven different brands. It did not cover the brand that I got. Given that I’ve never worn one before, it didn’t matter to me which brand I got. But that isn’t necessarily an issue with Hear.com.

My left hearing aids fell out. It's been lost and this has been close to two months at this point. I contacted Hear.com right away. I bought my set from Alex and I was told to pick my hearing aids up at HearUSA. They were extremely nice and efficient. They were very good. But, to this point, I still don't have the left one. Alex never called me back. I also talked to a lady named Dianne. She got permission of the supervisor to replace it for $250 and when I called back, nobody knew anything. Everything was set up with HearUSA, and then I got a call where they said they didn't have the credit card number. Well, they had one on file. I know they did because I gave them one when I bought this set. They've wasted four days at this point.

It's six weeks into this deal. I've been waiting for another hearing aid through all this time because I need two of them. Last Tuesday, I talked to someone down there. I waited two hours at HearUSA to get an answer from somebody. The girl at HearUSA had been talking to them down South so they were supposed to overnight it to me. But they couldn't because it was too late due to the time difference. I understand that. So, the next day, they were supposed to overnight it to me and it should have been there on Thursday, but it's not there.

I have never been jacked around so much in my life. I went so far as to try to buy another one at Costco and they said they won't match. So, honest to God, I'd rather take a bullet than do business with these people again. I'm retired now, but I used to own a company. And if I operated like them, I wouldn't be in business. I was recommending them to a lot of people, but I canceled it all. I will never, ever buy from them again.

I walk all day long and I'm around many people so it helped a lot. But the problem is that the battery runs out too fast and sometimes I don't have time to keep changing the battery. The representative in Florida was really good and the financing worked for me. There was no way that I was going to get a cheap pair of hearing aids and go without financing, so it all worked out pretty good with Hear.com. I talked to the customer consultant a number of times over the phone, and he set me up with an audiologist in Godfrey, Illinois. I spent a lot of money for my hearing aids, but the product I got works great.

There are four different settings on my app. There's the All Around, then there's one called Party, and that seems to work better for me for filtering most of the background noise. Another one is Music, but that one doesn't really do it. I'd be in a crowded clubhouse where there's a pool table and music playing over in a corner, so it can get pretty noisy there, but this setting seems to be the best one that works here, since it keeps every sound down to where I can still hear everything, but at least now I can hear somebody at the end of the counter, if they say my name or something else, so it's really cool. With the whole experience I had with Hear.com, from the representative in Florida to the audiologist, I'd recommend them. The only thing I gripe about is the high interest rate on the financing but they still give me the option to pay the whole thing off till April if I had the money.

Initially, a rep from Hear.com called me, and I had no problem with her. However, I wasn't happy with the office people where I went. I set up an appointment to have the hearing test and didn't like the attitude of the rep on the phone. She sends me the comment, "You know our hours. You knew them before you signed up." They're only open around 8:30 to 5:00 and I had a very hard time getting there at that time. Then it took me a long time to order the hearing aids, and I had problems when I got them.

They were going to give me 45 days to test the hearing aids out to see if I wanted them or not. They were very uncomfortable for me and I couldn't wear them. I hardly ever did. I wore it one Sunday for the whole day but didn't wear them to work because I work in construction. I figured when I get home, then I'd wear them for the rest of the night. But the hearing aids always bothered me. I was always pulling them in and out of my ears. I went back and they made some adjustments, and it felt better. But as I wore them a bit longer, they became very uncomfortable too. When it was getting towards the end, I wanted to return them, and they told me they make custom ones. I said, "Well, you can make them but I want some more time to check and make sure they're comfortable with me and I can wear them." They said they'd give me two weeks, but I haven't been in there yet to pick them up. That was on the 5th of December.

On the 22nd of December, I called and asked, "Have my hearing aids come in? What is going on? I haven't heard anything." And they told me, "Oh, yeah. They just came in." So I don't know if they just didn't call me or what the situation was. I was asked if I could come in on Friday to pick them up, and I said no because I was going to be out of town. So the rep made an appointment with me on a Tuesday at 4:00. I drove over to their office at 4:00 where I met them three other times and they said they moved to Hinsdale. I went, "Well, that's great. They didn't even tell me." At that point in time, I had places to go and I knew it was going to take me 20 minutes to get there so I drove home.

I called them up and they didn't answer. I left them a message and they never called me back. I waited 20 minutes and figured by that time they had plenty of time to call me back but they never did. When I got to speak to someone, I told the rep it would have been nice if they told me they moved. The rep said, "Oh, well. We told you when we made the appointment with you." I said no, they didn't. Then I said I couldn't make it anymore as it was already 4:25. She asked about Friday, I said I couldn't make it. She asked about Monday at 8:00 and said they're all coming early for me, then I said that was fine. I've not been happy with the whole experience.

Moreover, they would call me that the audiologist that I was referred to would give me the pricing while I never received it from them. It never seemed like I could get anything straight from Hear.com also, not even a good old email with real numbers in it, and it's disappointing that way.

I haven't been pleased with Hear.com and I don't know if I could recommend them. I've dealt with other internet companies on hearing aids before and I had a wonderful experience. I've even read on the internet that people are asking if Hear.com are kind of a scam and I don't know what to think. Other than that, I've got the hearing aids that I'm happy with.

I can hear better with the hearing aids from Hear.com. The one that pointed me in the direction I needed to go was the place where I got the hearing aids, Berks Hearing Specialist. Lathan, the sales rep, was very nice and I'm pleased with my experience. I would definitely recommend Hear.com.

The reps from Hear.com were great. The lady at the desk and the man I talked to were both very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. However, the hearing aids don't do much for me. I got the $6,000 ones and the batteries are always dead. I tried them once, and didn't use it for about a week, then the batteries were dead. My wife also tells me my hearing isn't any better. I got friends that have $300 ones and they work perfect. I don't know what's wrong. The experience was good and I'm satisfied with the people that I worked with. However, the hearing aid just doesn't work out for me.

I had an excellent experience with Hear.com's customer consultant. She was very attentive to all my needs and was calm getting back to me. It was an all around great job. I would recommend them to anyone.

Hear.com's pricing was good and the doctor was very kind, compassionate, and helpful. However, I have not purchased from them. I tried to start the process, but I came to find that the HR person where my husband works, misinformed us on our insurance. I was told since February that my insurance was supposed to have covered the purchase on hearing aids for my husband and for myself, and then the last two weeks of December at the very last minute, we finally got a hold of somebody and found that I was not covered. Hopefully, something will work out better with the new insurance that I have. I'm just going to have to start all over again.

It's very challenging with all the different products out there to know where to go. Hear.com took care of that for me and sent me to a very good place. They arranged for me to go to a hearing specialist. I got the hearing aids in my ears right now and they're working fine.

It's been a great experience all the way around with Hear.com. I have the in-the-canal hearing aid. It was a bit on the expensive side and took me ten days to get them. Ted, the audiologist has been great. He's working with me to get these things settled in and tuned up. I see him practically weekly so we can get it fine-tuned to where it's just right. I've been very happy. It's been a good and wonderful service and just awesome.

I liked the prices at Hear.com and their consultants were well-versed in the hearing aids. The guys at the place that I picked the hearing aids up from has been working with me really well. I'm very hard to fit and my hearing is very unusual. They said they only had one other person with the hearing like mine. When they take out some of the tones, it takes out too much. I'm supposed to go back next week and they're gonna tweak the hearing aids some more. My experience has been good with Hear.com. I have recommended them to several people.

I told Hear.com the brand of hearing aid I was interested in and they gave me a number of providers, one of which I wasn't aware of, which I went to. They actually set up the appointment with the hearing aid provider. I went there and had a hearing aid test and selected the hearing aids. Hear.com did a good job of following up, checking with me, and providing me with information and answering any questions that I have. I'm very satisfied.
