They have been terrible. I never leave reviews but this company has been an incredibly terrible experience. It’s worth paying more to get a legitimate experience with Invisalign or some other company. Do not use them. Pay more, their service and product is terrible.

So far it has been a good experience. The process has been simple and straightforward. The staff has always been there to answer questions and follow up on the process. They make sure that you have support during the process.

Only thing I would add on to the app is an explanation of what each aligner is doing to what tooth. That’s all, everything else is perfect. The app is easy to use, customer service is always in a good mood as well, love that.

Initially skeptical about the stuff, but now confidence is increasing daily. The company staff are very courteous, but it is not completely painless especially as it does it job, am talking about the liners. My husband always says, "that slight pain or discomfort, indicates Invisalign is doing itself job", and I concur.

I was a little apprehensive about purchasing a teeth straightening system online but the process was so easy and I’m seeing changes! My teeth are getting straighter with each new set of aligners! So far my experience with candid has been nothing but great. I only have had some issues with the fit of retainers but other than that everything’s great, especially customer service who are super helpful and go above and beyond for you.

Candid took longer than expected, and they don't work. My daughter already had braces and just needed a slight fix to her overbite. She wore them constantly and she still wears the retainer but they did absolutely nothing. They don't work, don't waste your money!

I am halfway through my treatment and so far I’m pleased with how quickly and close to painless this journey has been. Not only are these gradually straightening my teeth, they have helped me develop a routine of taking better care of my teeth and my mouth has never felt healthier. I will say it isn’t painless, but the pain comes and goes so quickly it’s not an issue. I suggest doing scans early in the morning and putting in new steps before bed at night, that way the tight uncomfortable feeling is mostly gone by the time you wake up! I also suggest filing down the aligners if they’re causing irritation inside of your mouth, it will help having a more customized fit on your teeth!

It took me a bit of practice to scan my teeth every two weeks, but on the 10th step out of 16th, I am already happy with the results and the experience have been great so far. My teeth are already straighter and healthier, of course wearing the aligners is as pleasant as it can be, it might be a bit painful for the first day or two of each aligners but it is totally worth it when you see your progress and how your gum looks so healthy and your teeth whiter with the foam provided. Finally, it saves me a lot of time not to go to the dentist every two weeks and saved me over $5,000 vs. Invisalign.

I believe that my orthodontist has created a great treatment plan to meet my needs. I have seen many improvements in my smile and I overall have had a good experience throughout my treatment. I would recommend this treatment service to others.

I have had a wonderful experience while using my Candid aligners. They are easy to wear, are hardly seen, easy to clean, and not too tight. The orthodontist input becomes useless if you religiously wear the aligners 22+ hours a day. My teeth have moved and I'm happy so far with the progression. I have 5 or 6 of 14 aligners remaining, oh, and 2k to pay yet.

Updated on 01/04/2024: I had traditional braces as a kid but once that treatment was finished I didn't take the proper care afterward. Over the years my teeth shifted and became crowded. I decided it was time to get it sorted out. Which is when I discovered Candid. I started my Journey with Candid in September of 2021 (09.28.21). It was initially meant to be a 10 month journey but ended up being a full year. Not knowing what to expect I followed instructions to a 'T' but the retainers never really fit snug. Twelve months came and went and Candid informed me I would need to do another round. It wasn't ideal but it was at no extra cost so I was OK with it. My second round felt better. More snug and an exact fit if you will. It was promising. Ten additional aligners meaning another five months. At the end of this journey - yet again Candid explained I would need another round at no cost. Now I'm starting to not understand.

I'm about halfway with my teeth progress. I can already see a difference. Trust the process. It takes time but so worth it. Candid is really great to work with. I'm loving my smile more and more. Thank you.

The dentist said I needed serious surgery for what I wanted. I know I'll need bridges but this is the start. I'm very happy not to have wire in my mouth which I've had done twice when I was younger. Everything from start till now has been so easy and such a breeze. I had one aligner that really caused pain but other than that it was just pressure in my mouth. All the aligners have done their job perfectly! The customer service is very good!! The only problem I have is the third aligner scan (aligners off, teeth slightly apart). I feel like every time I scan, it’s always that 3rd scan I have trouble with. I either open my mouth more than “slightly,” or I do open them slightly, and then they “can’t see my back teeth.” I feel like it’s challenging to find that happy medium. Hope this helps!

Everything has been so professional, yet so simple... the packaging itself was beautiful!! The app is so nice and detailed and so easy to use. I really love the whitening foam too, great product! The way it has the number printed right on the aligner makes it easy. I have definitely recommended this already to others. (Funny Fact: my dad provides ALIGNERS to orthodontists who use them for their patients, I work for him and do all the forming, buffing and shaping of the aligners.)

First step was confusing. But it is easy to scan after first step. I don’t need to go to a dentist for checking the teeth. I still have the teeth. Did not fix them yet. I hope Candid can fit the teeth next half of the steps.

When I started candid my teeth were horrible. I had one that was behind the other. I didn't think I'd be able to use aligners as mine were awful. Love my teeth! My coworker asked where I get my retainers and I told her Candid. Better than braces! My goal after treatment is to get a retainer to keep my teeth straightened. My goal is to maintain the cleanliness of of my gums and teeth just as I’m doing with the retainers.

So far so good, just waiting on the bottom teeth to line up with the top. I have an underbite that needs to line up with the top teeth. The top teeth front gap has closed and that looks great and feels good I am glad to see that. That is all!

Growing up, I didn’t need to use braces because my teeth were relatively straight. However, I never realized that my teeth seemed straight because of my overbite, you could only see my top teeth. As the years passed, there was some crowding in my bottom teeth and it became a lot more evident when I started working online because I could see myself talking on camera everyday call day. That’s when I decided I wanted a straighter smile, top and bottom.

I couldn’t recommend this treatment more! A lot of people state they have issues with their Aligners at all different companies, I haven’t had any big issues with Candid. My lower jaw has minor spacing that can be fix. It’s just how my own body reacted to the treatment and it’s not a big deal. What you need to understand is when your doing these braces it’s a process. You will experience some pain. It will subside and you will become desensitized to it and keep going because pain is beauty it’s a process, another thing is you're not going to be instantly gratified when it comes to any form of braces but I can truly say after 2 days when I change my trays out I definitely see results.

CANDID was super simple, very efficient and gave me the results I was seeking. I wish they were around 15 years ago! I love the app and the animation of my teeth. I also love how I can reach out and get a speedy response. I'm not gonna lie, they hurt, but it's a good hurt because you know your aligners are working! I wouldn't mind a second set of bad teeth to do it again! I actually had braces in my past, but after two pregnancies, my teeth shifted horribly back to before I had braces. As an adult I could imagine having to get braces again so this was just AWESOME.

Fast results you can see and feel. You are in charge of your progress. I love the fact that I don’t need to step into the dentist office for my scans and adjustments. I can do everything conveniently at home.

Because Candid’s superior x-ray system and craftsmanship of my aligners, along with the DUMMY-PROOF instruction and videos, there’s absolutely NO OPTION in failure!! Teacher says, student do. Hence, my phenomenal progress in the improvement in my teeth!! From my very first appointment at Candid on the upper East side location, I was in total and complete awe of the ambiance, the technology of the x-ray systems, to the professionalism and friendliness of EVERYONE on staff, to the DUMMY-PROOF instruction and videos, I have gotten superior customer experience from beginning to present!! I will be a LOUDMOUTH (a gorgeous mouth with GREAT teeth) on bragging about Candid to anyone who cares or not!!!

The box is organized with good instruction, there are video tutorials to help understand how it works, the responses are quick from the doctors. My scans are on Sunday which is helpful since my work week is busy. The only downside is it is extra work to keep them clean, brushing them and your teeth in the middle of the day is a must.

It's pretty cool taking control of everything for yourself. Reliability on their know how and availability on answers especially with a crazy schedule like mine's means the world in convenience. Definitely recommend and with insurance it's a breeze. They really do make it easy for you. Left a good side note that they can work on easily and if they follow that simple overlook then everyone who needs it would love it.

I heard about Candid from two friends who instantly saw results with Candid aligners. Unfortunately, my experience with Candid has been nothing short of disastrous. I decided to get my impressions in person at the Santa Monica Candid studio and while the employees were kind, the process that ensued after my in person visit was awful. I went in for impressions in October - I was told that I would receive a treatment plan within two weeks. I called Candid customer service three weeks later to notify them that I hadn't received any correspondence. The first representative assured me that I would receive them soon. These back and forth calls with Candid's customer service lasted two months. All because of mistakes made by the Santa Monica studio.

It’s crazy to think I’m already halfway done with my treatment - my smile has transformed so much I’d be happy just with where they’re at now! This has given me self esteem I didn’t know I needed - the whole process was easy, convenient - I’m thankful to have been given this opportunity. Everyone said, "Oh your teeth are fine." I was skeptical at first, but so far, it seems to be working. My main goal was to close my gap between my two front teeth. I'm halfway through and I can tell the difference. One thing I will say though...patience and a high tolerance for pain is recommended.

Great app and helpful people anytime I’ve had a question. Best of all, it works!!! My teeth are getting straighter each week! First week or so wearing them was rough, but after that it’s no big deal at all! You just work it into your routine! Small payoff for a beautiful smile!

Having an orthodontist check the progress, coupled with the convenience of teledentistry makes it so easy. And I see the progress my teeth have made. Takes some work but worth it. Reviews are timely. So you can do them at a convenient time and graduate up when you have the highest ability to work the initial fit.

My overall experience with Candid so far up until this point is great! I couldn't be happier! I am on step 10 and only have 6 more to go! I highly rate Candid because I had thought this might not work out but the kit's so easy to follow along with the app. When scans are due the candid team always is there with any questions or concerns. I wanted to close my middle gap and I’m on tray number 9. I’ll be finished in 7 more trays but I already love my smile. It’s working! At first when I started my first sets my teeth were so sore almost gave up but it only last for little time.. Recommend candid 110%. Also I referred my friend who also is enjoying her experience using her aligners & I received 100$ gift card for Amazon! So I thought that was awesome on top of it all!

I get scheduled updates to help keep me on task. The feedback from the orthodontist is very helpful as well. I feel like I am getting the same level of care I would if I were going into an orthodontist’s office. The whole system is very thorough, yet very convenient.

Taking impressions was easy. Rapid turn around of aligner delivery after impressions. Movement of teeth obvious with first two aligners. Uppers are 90% better in 3 months. Lowers will take the full 6 months, but significantly better in three months.

I would recommend Candid to any friend that wanted to fix some minor issues with their teeth. In my age bracket, the situation is typically age-related crowding. Candid is a great economical option. Getting set up is easy and the process is a breeze.

Candid makes it so easy! I wear my aligners all day except when I’m eating and and don’t have to think about it. People can rarely ever tell I’m wearing them. Their CandidApp lets me know when it’s time to scan using their remote monitoring tool and provides me the confidence my treatment is going to plan before moving forward. I can be confident a doctor has an eye on my treatment without the annoying office visits. On top of all of that I’m seeing real progress!

I’m halfway in the 6-month process and have it to be reasonable and more or less easy to follow. What an individual needs to understand that what you put in—keeping the aligners in 22 hours, flossing—will affect your results. Initially. There is pain and discomfort but it subsides during the first time you put in the Aligners. I did find my speech changes with each aligned.

My experience with candid has been very good. Everything arrived on time if not earlier than expected. It’s all packaged professionally and organized. Taking self scans and sending them is very easy. My experience with the actual aligners has been great, the only thing that really disappointed me was hearing back from my dentist after submitting a ticket. Turn around was supposed to be 24-72 hours. My scan is today and I never heard back.

I am on my second set of aligners (refinement). I have had much success with the process overall and would recommend (and have) this company to others. One thing that I think could be improved, is the ability to submit questions after a scan or to explain a scenario without contacting the customer service. For example: I have received the comment from the dentist, “… I do see a little unseat… be sure to use your chewier…” Although this is helpful, I would like to know where (in my mouth) the dentist has identified the problem. For the avoidance of contacting CS. As an example. There have been times I was due for a scan, but KNEW I was not going to move on. I would like the ability to reschedule the scan. (If it is possible I am unaware how).

I would recommend to a friend. This has been such an amazing experience so far and I hope that it could be for others looking to improve their smile. I was very skeptical about if this would work for me or not. Now I’m estatic! Can’t wait to see the finished product.

My treatment is going exactly as planned. I am comfortable that Orthodontist are the ones to oversee my treatment. (This was the most important feature and reason I moved forward with Candid.) I am half way through my plan and I am not self conscious about my teeth anymore. :)

Great customer service and super easy to use. The aligners are numbered so you know which aligner is next. You can also reorder any one of the aligners at anytime if you lose them. My teeth are aligning, however, my smile had changed, with the teeth accommodations, there is a notorious shift out of my teeth. Not feeling confident much with my smile... I wish I would had have more advice of making a aligned and cute smile.

The retainers work. Decent pace too. Works well with being in the military since it’s cheap and doesn’t require any appointments. No human contact is kind of a downside to though. Every message seems to be computer generated like the orthodontist just peeks at the pictures and is like “yup, those are teeth” then send a pre written email.

I’m loving how easy, straightforward and how nice my teeth are looking! The entire process has been fun as I’ve watched my teeth align and I see results with every next step. I also LOVE how much whiter my teeth are looking!

Easy process and priced right. Doing everything digital makes it easy too. I was able to finance the cost and pay monthly. Having a virtual consultation was nice so I could ask all my questions. Everyone was helpful. Also with Candid you do not have to have hardware put on your teeth.

Affordable and convenient right from home. No need to schedule appointments, etc. you will be reminded when it’s time to scan again to review progress. So easy. Would highly recommend if you are looking for convenience and something affordable. If your insurance allows orthodontist they do insurance as well. I was given the name from Aflac.

Call into Candid Customer Service. It was like talking with a telemarketer. They only have scripted answers. You can not speak with anyone that has any knowledge about an issue you are having with the product. They just answer, "We will forward that on and someone will answer you within 72 hours." Called weeks ago…. Still waiting. They could save time and just email out the pat answers they use and save phone calls. I know they will answer this with the pat answer we can’t discuss, but I can, I have been delayed moving between sets 4 times saying this one tooth needs to move more. I could accept that answer if the Aligners was actually putting pressure on the tooth. The problem is the Aligners are so loose that when I sneeze they blow out of my mouth. Their answer to me was, "Well some people's teeth move at a different rate." No kidding, I contend, "For them to move they probably need pressure on them."

I had a problem with lower and upper teeth crowding. I’m seeing my teeth move slowly but surely towards a straighter smile and my gums look and feel great. I love being able to remove my aligners, which after a few weeks I have gotten use to wearing them for the recommended 20 hours a day.

Candid has been super to work with from reordering extra molds to payment to ins. Questions they are usually just a text away. I've also been getting reimburse initially like 700 now like 120 ish when the orthodontist checks my scans. I'm about halfway progress is good.

Other than it being kind of expensive, it is less expensive than braces and way far convenient doing everything from home. Candid does not put their customers first - and I would never recommend them. Imagine changing your teeth with aligners and needing retainers every night to keep them in place; with a company that owns no responsibility for not supporting you with the proper products despite going through years of treatment. Ok, so long story short: I was very impressed with how my 16 steps/8 month program went. My teeth separated and looked much better. Unfortunately they never straightened out enough to reach their final positions which left my teeth very loose and mobile.

Everything has been so smooth, quick and easy with Candid. I’ve seen ads for other companies, but Candid stood out the most. Very happy with my progress and the end result I’m sure will be amazing. It's affordable and working with an actual ortho is a huge benefit.

You know the old saying “too good to be true”? Well here’s my pain. I paid in full for Candid’s service. I had 16 steps to complete and I followed the guidelines as close as possible. Everything was going very smooth until Step 8. I didn’t make it to the first day on Step 8 and it cut my gum. So I reached out to Candid for some assistance. They gave me this trimming guideline. Red flag, no customer should ever have to be trimming or cutting sharp plastic edges especially after paying in full for a service. Of course I follow the troubleshooting steps and it did not work. Then, I was reverted to do the same scans as the initial start of this service. Which is strange because all other steps did work fine, only on Step 8.

Candid had orthodontists doing their plans. The beginning process was very hard. You have to be able to do get the pictures taken properly and you have to put the things in your mouth right. I don't follow instructions well. I was just lucky to have a friend who is a dental technician that could help. That aside, the total process was easy.

I like the results. My teeth are pretty straight. But Candid didn't really check up on me throughout the process. If I had questions, I had to reach out. One of my teeth got bruised from the aligners. But they weren't really helpful with that.

The ease of the process drew me to Candid. I didn’t have to go to an orthodontist and sit through all that. The in-person experience at the Candid facility was what sold me. I liked the people there. They give you the red carpet treatment. If it depended on some of the customer service people online or over the phone, I probably would’ve never done it. Because Candid is a fairly new company, the people on the phone have to catch up. In the beginning, there were a couple of steps that I missed or didn't realize ‘cause there was a disconnect between seeing the people at the location and the communication through email. But once I knew to look for and expect that, that was fine. I'm very happy with the results.

Candid was convenient because I didn't have a lot of time to go to doctors’ appointments. There was a location in River Oaks where you go in and they treat you really nice and they cut you a deal and do your impressions by somebody who doesn't know what they're doing. I've been trying to get in touch with them since the Coronavirus hit and I never got ahold of anyone. None of my aligners ever fit. I paid 1,500 in cash, so I'm at a loss. I also tried to email them. I tried to dispute the charge. I've tried everything to get their attention. But I never heard anything back. Once you're out of the office, they could care less about what your experience is because they already have the cash in their pocket. There's no monitoring your progress or seeing your feedback. It's just like buying something and walking out of the store and never seeing someone again, with no return policy.

I had a gap on my two front teeth and now, I feel a lot better with my new smile and a lot more confident.

The process with Candid was good though a little bit painful when I gotta change my aligners every two weeks. But everybody’s gotta see my smile.

It’s tough not being able to have the aligners out whenever you wanted to eat and whenever you wanted since you were only allowed to have them out for two hours every day. But it was easy. It hurts whenever you put new ones in but it works, which is what matters. It was a 13-month process with Candid but my teeth are straight now.

I followed all the steps and there was no pain. It was pretty smooth and then just slowly enough, the gap that I was trying to fix just closed within literally six months. I'm still paying for it but I'm almost over. I actually lost my last dental pair. It's not that bad 'cause it's only just the last two steps, but it's definitely something that I want to deal with eventually. But overall, I was satisfied with Candid.

There was still a lot of movement that needed to happen, but I was already on the last tray. Candid had good customer service initially. When I got there, I felt pretty welcome there. However, once I reached the end of the treatment, I couldn't really find a way for me to lodge any complaints on what my results were. On their mobile site, I was not able to find a clear-cut way for me to contact them. Once Candid was done with the delivery and everything, their responsibility would end there and I wasn’t really content with that.
