I am blown away by how easy the process has been and how quickly I saw results! No one can tell I’m wearing plastic aligners throughout the day! The customer service with Byte is hands down some of the best I’ve ever received from an online company. Progress is slow But the fact that my teeth are uncomfortable means steady progress is being made. I am anxious to see the final results. Didn’t expect results overnight so I am relatively pleased with the rate of change. Thank you for your support.

I always regretted not having had orthodontics as a teenager. My teeth were OK, but not great. When I heard about Byte, I thought that it would be the easy way to make up for lost time. The intake process was easy (except for gagging while taking the molds, but that's because I have a sensitive mouth and gag at the lightest touch back there). I'm about 1/4 way through the aligner treatment plan and it's super easy and painless. Results are not 100% yet for me, but so far, so good! Sales staff were a little pushy at first, when I was considering my options, but they made it feel like friendly check-ins, so I can't complain.

So far, my experience with Byte customer service has been excellent. The staff is super friendly. If I have any questions or issues, they are resolved right away. As far as the entire process, from the impressions to my aligners, no complaints. I do wish I would have found out a little bit more information about the night aligners. It may have been a better option due to my job.

The entire online experience beats the in person alternative. Clearly, the Byteme has converted a former high touch service into mostly, a self-service product. It's so much more affordable (time and $$). It was noticeably clear that the aligners work in the first four weeks although the treatment lasted longer.

I wanted to straighten my teeth for years but I was nervous to actually a commit to it. I finally decided to go through with it and I was careful and read probably hundreds of reviews, comparing all the different aligner companies. Byte had the best reviews for customer service hands down. I’m so glad I went with Byte. Their customer service has been great and quick to respond to my every need. If you’re are thinking about straightening your teeth but on the fence, just go for it and go with Byte. Best decision I’ve made for ME in a long time.

They tell me one thing. Don't stick to it then make me pay for something I never get and never tell me anything in the whole process. Never an email. Don't answer calls. They just leave me in the dark.

I loved the box that you get when you first get the aligners. The book made everything really easy to do. It hurts when you first put them in but the Hyperbyte made it feel better. I’m almost done with the packs and I’ve seen so much progress!

Super happy with the ease of the process. I’m on week 4 and my teeth have gotten so much straighter. Hyperbyte also works great. Had a great experience with the team who made it super easy to complete the process. I think the teeth whitener system could be improved a little. I like the foam but not sure how effective it is. I just started the process but so far it has been great! I was able to get the impression kit for under $10. The price for the aligners themselves is very reasonable! Staff have been very helpful and professional! The process has been very simple and easy to do at home!

I had a really great experience with Byte. The customer service team was always prompt to answer any of my questions and everything went really smoothly for me. After I finished the initial treatment a couple of my teeth shifted and with their guarantee they sent me new aligners to make sure that I was happy with my new smile. I highly recommend them.

Good Customer service. We like the product. The kit included deodorizing foam and soothing massager for gums. Very fair pricing of the treatment. I would certainly recommend to friends. In fact my nephew is next. We still are in the middle of treatment but I see the teeth are shifting in right direction.

Everything about the minor pain due to the shifting of my teeth was to be expected, but I can already see the results showing for themselves. I anticipate more results as I continue the regiment and can't wait to see a straighter and brighter smile.

I love how fast Byte works! Didn’t hurt as bad as I thought it would and I even get to brighten my teeth in the process. I switch out every Sunday evening to start a new pair. I’m done my bottom. Just have a few more top ones to go!

I am 50+ and it’s been gradually noticed that my teeth are walking out. I been complaining about it but was not sure what to do? Because didn’t want braces. So finally my daughter got me mother’s day gift. And guess what it was?? Byteme of course. I was excited so start processing asap. It’s been couple weeks now. My grandchildren commented on my crooked teeth. I am 13 weeks in And I am so happy with how they are straightening out and getting whiter at the same time! It is easy to use and only slightly uncomfortable. There is tightness as I change aligned each week. I’m happy that they also include cleaner and whitener with the kit.

Using Byte has been simple, affordable and convenient. I’m currently on week 5. I had metal braces as a teen. My wisdom teeth came in and caused my bottom teeth to drastically shift and created severe crowding. Watching the teeth open up and go back into position a little at a time has been so satisfying. Wonderful employees, Fast acting treatment, simple, easy,, very effective. Would definitely recommend to some else. I'm on week 23 and I saw a change in week 4. There is a little bit of soreness but that's how you know they're working.

I'm on my 11th week of my aligners and throughout this whole process it's been nothing but a breeze. I never really had my teeth be too messed up but there were a few gaps here and there and after my 8th or 9th week my whole top row of teeth has seen big improvement. I have about 4 or 5 weeks left of my aligners and I have no doubt that I'll be happy with my end results.

I'm almost halfway through my treatment and so far it has been a good experience. In terms of the alignment itself, I'm seeing some movement and have minimum soreness. The night-only option is GREAT. As for the Byte team, I'm also having a good experience. Email correspondence lags a bit but the team is helpful and responsive via phone. Thanks Byte!

The website was easy to find, easy to read information and sign up process was fast. The text messages were detailed and prompt with instructions as well as emails and follow ups. The weekly appliances are individually wrapped and labeled for use. Less stress and pain than other teeth corrections options.

I’m only on week 5 or 15 and noticed improvements on my smile. So far the experience is great! Would recommend to others. The gaps are closing and my teeth are whiter. I have made the right decision going with Byte.

So far, it’s been going ok. My top aligners fit well but I spend almost 15 mins each week filing down my lower ones. Even then, there is a good 1-2mm space between my teeth and the top of the aligners. I’m also able to feel space on the bottom right which is a bit distracting. I contacted my rep during the first week with this feedback but I never heard back.

Like what I’m experiencing so far. Each week I charge my hyperbyte which I use daily and change the aligners every Friday evening. So by Monday I’m all good and used to the different feel. Then ready to go into the coming week with my work related speech and phone calls.

The customer service is great, responsive and professional. My treatment also seems to be progressing like how the visual said it would so that is a plus as well. In the beginning they hurt however after a while your teeth will get used to them.

You wait over a week for a response to questions and concerns from the so called support team. Then when they do respond it’s a different nameless person each time. (I assume they don’t leave their name so they can’t be traced). Same issue with the ‘professional’ team. I’m still waiting since last Wednesday for a response from Veronica one of the professionals. My teeth haven’t moved at all! At this point my bottom teeth should look significantly straighter, based off the treatment tracker, but there is no difference to how they were before I started treatment. I WANT A REFUND!

I definitely would recommend Byte to anybody and everybody. I'm beyond happy with my progress so far and I'm keen to continue. A very easy process that I would have started way earlier if I knew it was there. I wish the cleaner bottles were bigger but that's also not a problem.

Straighten my teeth at 59? Yes, please! I thought I could not do orthodontics because of a dental implant I have for one of my front teeth. Byte evaluated my teeth and said they could give me a better smile in 21 weeks. I was so excited to get started. Great price, too. Byte aligners come in amazing packaging with easy to understand instructions. The aligners can be uncomfortable at times but so would any foreign object in your mouth. I definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to love their smile and I cannot wait until mine is picture perfect.

Really good experience with the ordering and receiving. Wish that it would’ve came with more check ups to make sure I was on course with actual representatives. In the end one of my teeth didn’t shift to the spot that I wanted. It was the problem tooth in the first place.

I'm a 53 year old who never has had straight teeth or braces, not everybody got them like they do now. I chewed tobacco for 20 years and my teeth ended up out of alignment making it hard to chew as well as smile. I have been using Byte for 13 weeks and the results are amazing. I'm in my third week and I can already see a slight change in my overbite. I can't wait until my gap is closed.. I see a lot about not getting responses from the customer care team after you purchase your aligners but that has not been the case for me. I have sent a few emails with questions and have gotten a normal timely response that I am happy with. The longest was 4 business days. Highly recommend!

I'm on week ten of 15. Everything has gone smoothly so far. It's been moving accordingly and the difference is night and day. I got myself the night time retainers but I usually have them on for as long as I'm comfortable with. I know people that have gotten braces and these were half the cost and in even less time (in my case).

I have been using my aligners for almost a month. So far so good! I am doing the day plan and got the extended plan for after. Filing down the inside edges of my aligners has helped them feel more comfortable. I got a little gagged with HyperByte at first but no biggie!... Great customer service!

Everyone was really friendly and they were able to get me to the right person if they couldn't help me personally 10/10. However after my molar crown popped out due to the aligners the response was slow in notifying me with updates. The representative was able to look up my insurance claim and gave me a better timeline of when to hear a from the insurance department.

Everything has been great since starting about seven months ago with Byte. When I first decided to do a treatment, I looked at Byte, Candid, Invisalign and others and between pricing and reviews, I chose Byte and I'm really happy that I did! The impressions kit was super simple to do and within a few weeks of sending it back, I had my aligners. The instructions are clear and the customer service has been very helpful. My teeth have been a little slower to move and the people that I have had contact with have provided steps and help to make sure that I meet my final goal! The only thing that I would say is that it sometimes takes a few days to get a response, but I get that there are probably a lot of inquiries. Definitely recommend!

I’m not done with my treatment yet; however, the customer service has been fantastic and I’m starting to see my teeth straighten now. I’m so excited to see how my teeth turn out, but for now I’m enjoying the process. Everything is a lot simpler than I thought it would be and I’m not in as much discomfort as I thought I’d be in.

The entire experience has been thorough, fast and correct. It's all been beautifully packaged with a Byte rep by my side 24/7... I would know. I would message my rep at about 6am and she would always get back to me asap!! I had braces in my teen years but my wisdom teeth came in, my teeth became severely crowded. I’m on week 10 and my teeth are really shifting. I use to not be able to get floss between my bottom teeth but now I can with ease. Customer support has been great and I love that Byte checks in with me and my progress!

Now on week 3 and the Byte aligners seem to be working very slowly & the customer service definitely needs to work on the communication. Would not recommend until they work on becoming more consistent and prompt with helping their customers.

Overall pretty disappointed with experience. The plan was for 15 weeks, then it doubled when nearing end of retainers- adding another 18 weeks? Customer service is lacking, the response time and even nature of the response isn't great. Mentioned aligning to "bottom teeth" then backtracked when questioned on topic. Quality is sub par. The case they provide feels extremely thin & cheap. It can barely hold top & bottom aligners at once, and doesn't close well. I'd expect at minimum a decent case when spending that much money. Overall would not recommend. Better off spending a little more money and getting your money's worth.

Updated on 7/31/2021: Now they've asked me to wear no aligners for a month and start over yet again. Currently at 15 months and counting with no plan to fix it. Do not recommend!
Original review: Wouldn't recommend. I previously had invisalign 10+ years ago and my teeth had started shifting from grinding at night. Nothing too bad, should be an easy fix right? I submitted everything to Byte and was told I was a great candidate and the treatment plan would be 10 weeks. Great! I did the 10 weeks but my teeth still had a gap. Reached out and they said, "No problem. We will do a new set for refinement to fix the remaining issues." Well I'm now awaiting my 4th set of refinement aligners and my treatment has already surpassed ONE YEAR!! Definitely not what I expected when I was quoted a 10 month treatment. I even asked since it's taking so long if they could switch me to night time only aligners and was told I would have to pay more to upgrade which is ridiculous given the length of treatment. I would have never spent thousands on it if I knew it would be over a year still with no end in sight.

I have been on my 15th week of aligners for about 2 months now. Haven’t gotten my second set of aligners. Everyone is nice. I’m just frustrated. When emailing the support team, it takes a phone call from me to get a response from them.

Very impressed so far. Initial ramp up and impressions process was smooth and customer support pretty responsive. Did not fully succeed with what I wanted at first so now they are sending me more trays, free of charge as they had promised.

My teeth already look straighter and whiter after almost 2 months! Each time that you put the new week's aligners in they feel tight but that goes away after a few days. It's going to be worth it and it is way cheaper than braces!

By the third week using Byte aligners my family was complimenting me on how straight my teeth have gotten! The kit that they come with make it easy to store, clean, then reapply the aligners after meals on the go. My experience has been pretty great. You guys nailed user experience, and everything is really simple to understand and manage. Customer service is excellent as well! My only issue has been with the length of the treatment that ended up doubling because my aligners started developing gaps. So, end to end it's going to take me around a year.

I wore my aligners for 13 weeks, and very minimal improvement. I received emails from numerous customer service people, sometimes overlapping each other. It seemed confusing. I feel there should be better communication. I went weeks, thinking my alignment was progressing. Now, I'm spending 15 more weeks, again....

I was having a great experience with Byte until I reached out to them to inform them I only had two sets left so I would be ready for my retainers soon. They responded by informing me I actually have 3 more bottom only aligners in addition to the last two sets that were not included in my initial aligners package. They then asked for pictures of my teeth with and without the aligners (at this point I was on my last set of aligners), they then determined there is too much space between my teeth and aligners (my teeth are uneven due to grinding and the space had been there since my first set of aligners).
They have sent my case to their advanced team and will not provide me with my last 3 bottom aligners. It takes 3-4 days for anyone to respond and they will not escalate my case to resolve it sooner. I do not understand how no one checked in and asked for pictures to ensure the aligners are fitting my teeth correctly within the first month of me getting the aligners, instead of waiting until I am literally done with all of my aligners. I will never recommend Byte to anyone.

Finished almost 3/4 of the treatment with Byte, I would say so far so good. I messed up the impression the first time but they sent me a replacement very quickly. After that my first set of aligners came in quite quickly. Their rep checked with me once in a while to make sure I am okay. Whenever I sent them an email, they responded very quickly. I am going to finish my first set (1-15), and I was told I would receive my 2nd set (16-last) in 5-7 weeks, at first I was quite concern, however, just got an email today shows that it has been shipped. I guess they just do not want to over-promised on the shipments so it will not lead to disappointment. My two bottom front teeth has been overlapping each other over decades, this is the first time in my life seeing them separated slowly. They are still overlapped now, but much more better than before. Hopefully they are lined up side by side at the end of the treatment.

We are beginning week 7 of the Byte aligners with my son. We have had a wonderful experience so far. I am 7 weeks into my treatment and from the first contact with Byte, I’ve had such a positive experience! They’ve been so helpful and friendly! The treatment is easy, minimal discomfort. They’ve got the clear aligner system down, from the packaging to the support, I have nothing but good things to say. I’m 35 and never had a chance to have braces. I had very nice teeth. As I got older the bottom teeth started going funny... and I went to the ortho to see how it would be to have them fixed. $5000. I looked at Byte. Yeah, no comparison and they showed basically the same images and animation! I love these. My teeth are already so so different!

I had braces as a teen but like many I did not wear my retainer after some time. I recently noticed a gap in my front teeth. A month into the Byte process, the gap is gone and my teeth are noticeably straighter! Oh and the BrightByte?! Amazing! My teeth are whiter too!

Ummm my experience has been interesting to say the least. Whoever is on my team I don’t know their names it doesn’t feel like a journey at all. Feels more like a “Here are your aligners, keep your fingers crossed” and little to no communication afterwards. I have an eleven week treatment plan and I start week 7 today and My teeth are in the same place as before.

I ordered the night aligners, which were to be worn 10 hrs a night. After they arrived, I noticed that my teeth hardly moved from wearing them for 10hrs a day for a few months. A new set was sent, but these new aligners were far more rigid than the previous flexible set. I brought these in to a local orthodontist and he confirmed that the first set was the daytime version (22 hrs a day) while the new ones were the night ones (the latter also indicated on the box that they were for night, unlike the first box).
The customer service rep "assured" me that they were both night aligners, but the difference in feel, lack of teeth movement, and local orthodontist who assessed them indicate otherwise. I eventually finished my night aligner course and only one upper incisor met with one bottom incisor. I used to have a nice overbite, but now only 2 front teeth met when I'd bite and the rest didn't touch. Not only did it feel horrible, but the look was very unflattering. I had a bit of bottom crowding, and they ignored me when I suggested I have my bottom front teeth filed down by a local dentist to create a bit of space for the aligner course.
What they did was push my bottom teeth forward to create space, and moved the uppers back a little. Also important to note that after the course, I still had bottom crowding! I'm currently spending a lot of money at a local orthodontist to have all of this corrected. It's ruined my quality of life for the past few months. Also, different departments don't coordinate with one another, as I kept getting emails to have my final/permanent aligner sent to me while all of this was going on. There is a 'lifetime guarantee' with Byte but I simply don't have confidence in the company after what I've been thru.

My teeth are looking way better than they did before. They seem to be falling into the correct place. However my teeth are still moving slower than usual that I had to get refinement aligners. Even so, I still see some gaps in the aligners, though not as bad as the initial aligned set.

At first, I've tried Smile Direct Club and was disappointed with how poor their communication was with trying to fit my preferences and getting the right treatment for me. Byte aligners is doing great. I’m on my week 9 and so far it’s working so well. I can totally see the improvements by a lot and can’t wait to finish my treatment. Their customer service is great. However, they respond faster if you call than email.

They work thoroughly and quickly. I'm just past halfway through my treatment and, even if I stopped now (which I won't), I would be happy with my teeth. There is very little pain especially using my Hyperbyte which I do each night and personally also each morning to secure my aligners before I start my day. They look amazing!

In the beginning my experience was great. Now we’ve hit a delay in treatment due to an poorly made aligner for my top teeth. This is my SECOND set of aligners. This has obviously pushed back my date of completion to late August or early September. I had originally planned on being finished in July.

My Byte experience has been going great. I can definitely tell it is working because it is super painful. I have used my Hyperbyte quite a lot and it eases my pain. I am on week six and my crooked bottom tooth is coming in to fill the small gap slowly but surely. But overall my aligners never cut my lips or gums and are very great quality!

Braces review. I was sad that after 4 yrs of braces as a kid I was seeing my teeth reverting as I got older - I’m headed into week 5 of my Byte experience and it’s been pretty amazing. I was seeing results by week two in my top teeth and seeing results to my bottom this week. I have a total of 11 weeks to do. I checked with other alignment companies and Byte had the best pricing overall and could do without having to go through a dentist. Looking forward to the end results.

I highly recommend the nighttime aligners. I thought I would be ok wearing them all day but am now a firm believer the 10 hours a night is the way to go! The vibrating mouthpiece quickly dissipates any pain after you apply your aligners.

3 weeks in. First set of trays did not fit. Had to go through some hurdles to get a second set of trays but they seem to be working very well. First set was much too tight. Now that I have the comparison, it feel like maybe it was starting off at an accelerated week and not the first week, but that is speculation. Few things, I had to learn on my own, online such as what haloing is and that you may have to wear the trays longer than the estimated treatment plan. So far however I'm not expecting that I don't have any haloing with the second set of trays. First week did not fit over my molars so I did have to clip them and the second set as well, but the third set of trays I haven't had to do that, so I think there's progress being made.
Everyone that I have spoken to on the phone has been very kind and supportive. They have not rushed me. They have taken the time to listen to my concerns and questions. They're all very friendly. Every once in a while I do hear a "script", they'll come out telling me to file down the sides to clip it over and over at any mention of discomfort. They have information to provide me and help me do that so, I think that's a little bit route but overall an A+ for customer service. Also if I do end up having to do this longer, they are committed to providing treatment until completion.
I had dental insurance to cover $2,000 for Invisalign (4K total) but it wouldn't have covered the $500 for retainers and the fact that this plan gives you 5 years worth of retainers and cost a slightly less than it would have cost me with my dental insurance, was a good selling point. That in the shorter time frame to complete. I would strongly recommend this product in this company so far in my experience.

The receipt of the first impression set was very slow. After I completed it, The first impressions I sent were never processed. I had to reach out to the company to have another impression set sent and repeat the process which delayed my start by over a month. It was a little frustrating.

So far so good. No complaints. It's a good product, slowly but surely my teeth will get straighter, and they weren't that crooked to begin with. The product is a bit pricey, but better than going to an orthodontist.

Based on my initial consultation, I was told I would receive treatment for both upper and lower teeth. When I received my aligners neither fit me. I submitted a second round of impression kits, and now I've only just received the upper aligners. When I called and spoke with the support staff they informed me that the doctors there (at Byte) no longer feel they can treat my lower teeth. I asked if there would be a cost adjustment based on the fact that I paid for upper and lower, but am now only receiving upper aligners, and I was told "no". To me this constitutes fraud as bait and switch.

I am on week 4 of my treatment, I purchase the night aligners, and so far I’m pretty pleased. The whole process has been very easy and fast. So far I have not had any issues. I can’t wait to see what my ending results are.

It saddens me to have to write this review. I had high hopes after reading the positive reviews for Byte. I decided on the nighttime aligner program and was given an 18 week program (with 18 sets of aligners). Every week when it was time to change aligners was miserable. It often took an hour of using the Hyperbyte device to get the aligners to fit onto my teeth (as opposed to the 1-2 times recommended). The aligners were always ill-fitting and were constantly scraping my tongue and gums, causing painful cuts. As time went on, my jaw and teeth began to hurt every day.
I continued on with the process, since I could see movement and figured this was part of the treatment. As time got closer to my last set of aligners, it was becoming evident that my teeth weren't coming together as they should. Not only were my midlines not centered, but the gap on my top teeth was still there. I reached out to Byte to express the pain I had and my concern with the treatment. They asked if I had my old aligners, because they needed me to "go back". What?!?! Why would I keep those? I said I had tossed them and they said because I didn't have them I voided my forever warranty and I would need to repurchase the plan for an additional $900. Since I followed the program to a T, I was shocked they wanted me to spend more money, even though I didn't get the desired result.
It was at this time, I decided to visit a local orthodontist. After a thorough exam, they confirmed that the program I was on with Byte had actually thrown my bite off. My bottom teeth were striking were striking my top teeth, my midlines were off and bite in general was no longer lining up. I shared this information with Byte and they told me they don't offer refunds. Since I was in so much pain I decided to start a new Invisalign plan with the orthodontist (cost $4800). The difference between the aligners is night and day. Gone are the thick, uncomfortable, rudimentary aligners that appear to be made by a caveman. Invisalign are thin form fitting, with no sharp edges. I asked what would happen if I needed more aligners or if I threw away my aligners, they responded, "We would just have more made." What a concept?!?!
If Byte had done their job, there is no reason I would need to do 36 more weeks of aligners. Yes, 36 more weeks! It's clear now that Byte could care less about their customers. One look at their BBB page and their F rating would confirm this. Stay far away. Spend the additional money and have your teeth straightened the right way.

The experience so far has been quick, easy and efficient. My advisor has assisted me with any inquiries straight away. The moulding process was very easy to follow and my treatment plan gave me an amazing 3D image of my end results.

I was hesitant to do orthodontics remotely. I never had my teeth fixed as a kid, so this was all new. Everything was super easy and my teeth are already dramatically different. When I encountered an issue with my teeth being stubborn, they responded quickly and revised my plan. Everything is going smoothly now. It’s been a great experience!

So bear with me, this is going to be a long review. I normally do not write long reviews, however this company has put me through an incredibly arduous process that resulted in over a grand wasted, not to mention lots of time and meticulous work that has gone down the drain. On 5/18/20 I ordered my impression kit from Byte for NIGHTTIME ONLY aligners. After going through the process, my treatment plan was created and my aligners were being made. After receiving my aligners and using them (painful process fyi) for 6 weeks and receiving no correspondence from Byte, I reached out to them.
Going in, I assumed they would want to review pictures every week of one's progress, however this is not the case. I was informed that the first time I would be prompted to submit progress pictures is week TWELVE. Mind you, the entire treatment plan is 30 weeks. This was the first red flag, however they stated that they would like to receive pics now since I was slightly concerned with how the aligners were fitting. I obliged and submitted the progress pics via email. Let me clarify this to you; the same people never review your pictures. What does this cause? Inexperienced responses and conflicting information (more on that later).
So after my pictures were "reviewed", I was told to stay in my aligners for a period of time and increase HyperByte use. I did this and followed the instructions meticulously. After the period of time, I submitted more pictures and was told that the aligners were much better and moved on, this time using the HyperByte for 30 minutes a day.
Fast forward to the opening of week 13's package, which contained instructions to submit what would be normally the first "clinical review" (again they will never specifically tell you who is reviewing the aligners, only "clinical" or "dental" team). After submitting this review, I was told to go back a few aligners as there were still problems. I was told to go back to WEEK SIX. So all the way back to when the previous correspondence happened, where I was told that my aligners fit great after a short extended period of wear and that I could move forward. At this point, I was told to send pictures every 10 days after they apologized for their poor line of communication. Also, let me point out that very often these correspondences were by different people that were just catching up after reading old messages, I assume, cause they rarely had the same name or had no name listed in their email.
Anyways, to make it short, over the next few months I frequently had to re-do weeks after submitting pictures until December 16th, 2020, when I was told out of the blue that my aligners were fitting so poorly, I must completely re-do my impression kits and start over from WEEK ONE. This was a major shock, as previous correspondence had not indicated that my situation was this dire at all. Again, I paid a lot of money for these. I followed instructions to the T and never missed nights of wearing the aligners. After hearing about this, I was fed up and asked for a refund.
I'll go ahead and tell you the one thing Byte staff is good at is letting you know they do not have a refund policy and that sales are final. After they convinced me this is "common" in teeth treatment, I went ahead and did another impression kit and started over. Did this fix it? Of course not, because Byte had clearly agreed to fixing my teeth without knowing for sure if they could do it. Their aligners would simply not work for my situation. Anyways, moving forward with my story, on January 19th, 2021, I received my new set of aligners and started wearing them.
After a month of hearing nothing, I again was the one to reach out to Byte support, who stated that I had been notified to submit pictures via their website, which is funny since that had never happened before so of course I wouldn't be checking the website. After submitting pictures and again not hearing anything (this time checking the website and my email), I reached out again to Byte support, which stated, and I quote, "Unless you bring up concerns, we won't check the photos submitted online". Anyways, more delays continue (including having to wear my week 6 aligner set for over 3 weeks) and I start to see the pattern.
I reach out because I have not heard anything, I am told my teeth are not sitting flush to the aligners and that there are air gaps, I am told to wear them for 1-2 more weeks while increasing HyperByte usage, I am then told they either fit better and to continue to the next week or to go back a week or longer and continue from that point. If I continue, in 7-10 days I am normally told to go back anyways. This causes me to obtain 0 progress. After a few months of doing this, I am told for a second time that I am going to need to make new aligners. This was the final straw.
At the point, Byte would either take a literal week to respond or not respond at all, so I am frequently forced to call them and try to get information. Eventually, my case is escalated to management and I am offered a 50% refund. I'm probably a sucker, but I went ahead and took it since they had made it crystal clear that refunds are not part of their policy since my new smile is "guaranteed". Yeah right, the only "guarantee" is that they would continue to stall and the aligners would continue to not fit. So on 5/17/21, a FULL YEAR from when I started, I received half of my money back. My teeth look no better and I am out over $1000.
Complete waste of time, stay far, far away from this joke of a company. They are clearly inexperienced and in my opinion, very shady. Other companies may charge more, but trust me you do not want to go through the frustration I have. Thanks for reading this, it's been therapeutic to put this company on blast. I truly hope it goes under so that no one else has to experience what I have.

Byte has really shifted my smile and it has been very convenient, but I was supposed to be finished in 15 weeks, instead it has spanned to over 30 weeks. It might be that I have a stubborn smile, but it has taken longer than expected. And as a heads up, after my teeth shifted, I have noticed that my mouth is crooked, so when I chew I notice a drastic and uncomfortable difference. If you have an uneven jaw, beware of that issue.

I had been looking for a company who I felt comfortable with about the problem with my teeth. I did not want to wear braces at my age and just to think about it made me feel embarrassed. I called different companies while doing my research and just decided on Byte because I felt at ease from the first time I contacted them. Customer service was great at the beginning. After I paid it was hard to get ahold of anyone. Easy process. Very easy. Hyper byte is cool Brightbyte is cool too. The process works. First aligner had some pain. The rest weren’t bad at all. I had minimal movements. Mainly front tooth gap and some lower straightening.

So far, so good! I’m on week 4, and am already noticing a difference. Looking forward to seeing how my teeth look by the end! They were a little uncomfortable at first, but after the 1st week, there’s been no pain at all.

I have always been self conscious of my smile especially when I see a picture of me smiling, I would hate it. I am in my 3rd week of aligners & I can say I am feeling the movement & also seeing it a bit already! I can feel it really working! I love this so far!
