I purchased the program that includes the ring in April, so I am still new to the program. But as of right now, I do find it helpful! I love how helpful the program is with what I need to do to feel my best. I enjoy how this program is tailored to me. It gives me an insight of what diet is most helpful for me, also allows me to log my food in, meditation/mindfulness, workouts, or I can login my own. I enjoy the different options it provides. I also love how user friendly it is.

BEST investment I have made towards changing my habits to living a new happier healthier lifestyle with ease. Not only does the ring tell me how I slept/ My heart rate and so much more but it tells me when the best time to work out is and what days are best to workout based off the information from the day and night before. It also helps me keep track of my meals and helps me hit the goals I need to hit in order to lose the weight. Also, when you don't want to eat the same thing every day you can put ingredients you want and it will give you back amazing meal ideas along with giving you other meal ideas for the week. Not to mention you get an amazing Coach that if you have any questions, you can call or email and they get right back to you super-fast to help you out! My person is Christopher HE HAS BEEN AMAZING!

I'm so impressed with my experience with the Alter app and ring. I was excited about the DNA aspect of this company, and loved seeing the results of my own individualized test. Knowing that everything is centered around my personal DNA and my individual needs has been game-changing. My favorite aspect of the ring is knowing exactly what my sleep is like every night. I was able to see where I could improve my sleep every night so that my overall health will improve as well. I'm 56 years old, and have loved incorporating Alter into my health experience every day. The staff has been so amazing to help me with questions I've had as well. They have been great. I highly recommend Alter as a way to elevate and improve your health in all aspects of life.

I've been using AlterMe for over a year, and I'm really happy with it. I joined because the option of having DNA testing to create a comprehensive recommendation plan that actually works for your body was very attractive. I bought the mirror because I wanted to create that separation of mind and space when working out, which just using the app on my phone wouldn't give me, and I love it. They truly value customer feedback; I've completed many surveys asking what could make the product better, whether you'd prefer this or that. The features and improvements are well thought out based on users' needs, and that shows integrity.

I'm rating this a 4 out of 5 only because I was an early adopter and had glitches between The Ring and the mirror. I have taken some time off and have since gone back to using it, and I do see marked improvement. The app has become more robust. Because everything is based on genetics and AI interpretation, there is very little personal control over things like your macros. If you wish to follow a particular protocol, you can't manipulate the macros. With that said, if you want a simple all-in solution with sleep data, recovery data, and what you should work on for exercise for that day laid out for you, this is fantastic. Customer support is fantastic. Having chat built into the app makes it very convenient, so you're able to walk away and come back when it's convenient to continue the conversation. You also receive an email with a response.

The guy who signed me up was understanding, supportive and patient. The app has been very helpful at determining what time of day is best for me to workout. And monitoring my recovery has helped me pay attention to my sleeping habits. I’m just starting to dive into the eating portion of the app. But this far that has come up pretty easy as well. Workouts I’ve found challenging but not intimidating. Easy use app and help is always a message away. So far it’s worth the $$. As a new mom it’s nice to learn how my body has changed.

I am so happy with my AlterMe system! This is cutting edge technology that is tailored to my DNA and my real time biometric data and I am convinced there is nothing else like this on the market. Every morning I have a specialized work out, meal plan and guidance for my day based on my readiness level. I chose the silver ring and it's gorgeous and so comfortable. All this technology carries over to the smart fitness mirror which has become my personal trainer and I look forward to my work outs now. I have tried everything out there and this is working for me and I am seeing and feeling incredible results. This is real! The customer service is fantastic and I wish I could give AlterMe 10 stars!

Christopher spend quality time with me and understand my concerns. No pressure and allowed me the time I need to make a decision. Even though I have other health reason I did not go forward with the plan, I do believe that Christopher would have me on a great plan and supported through out my progress. Unfortunately, I lost my ring, but the customer support team was incredibly responsive, professional, and helpful. They quickly guided me through the replacement process and made everything easy and stress-free. It's rare to find such great customer service these days. Highly recommend both the product and the company!

I didn’t know what I was getting into when I did the DNA testing. I feel like it was a set up to buy the plan. I bought the plan and it’s been going good so far. They give you a suggestions each day which I like because I’m good at following steps. I like the reminders to do meditation, mindfulness and stretch. Those are things I could get better at. I don’t like to track food on the app. The tracking tool is not customizable enough for me.

This actually works and has been the best thing I’ve used to keep me accountable. In the first month I lost 20 lbs! I unfortunately misplaced my charging case and have been off track lately, but customer service has been incredibly helpful in getting me a new one quickly and the process was easy.

I ordered the DNA test because it was only $30, but soon after I received it, I started getting texts basically wanting me to hurry up and send it back. Then, because I don't like being pressured, I started reading reviews and decided I wasn't going to sit through a sales call just to get a few basic questions about my DNA answered. I don't recall the ad that got me to purchase the test saying anything about me HAVING to have a call with a fitness expert in order or get my results, or that I would be asked to purchase other products during this call. I hate that sort of thing so that sealed the deal- I'm tossing the test and eating the $30. Based on the other reviews I've see here and elsewhere, now I don't trust them. I wish I would have read the reviews first.

I've been through the gamut of different dieting programs and AlterMe has shed light on what would work best for me. The results are easy to understand and they have a variety of workouts to choose from

AlterMe is an intuitive and thoughtfully designed app that makes personal growth feel engaging and fun rather than overwhelming. I have been able to track my goals and actually see my progress over time.

Overall I am satisfied with my ring and program. It did take a bit of time to get things figured out but it is nice not to worry or wonder about what exercise to do. Probably my biggest issue is with the sleep app. I work knights and sometimes it says I am sleeping when I am not. I wish there was a function to say that you are going to bed. I would also want more about the diet recommend. I needed more guidance with recipes and suggested foods. Would I spend the money again? Yes I believe I would. I have had a tough year and have not used this app as much as I would have like to but getting back on track now.

Very pushy, very costly, never get calls from them. Not sure what to do when I have questions. Wouldn’t recommend.

I have been using Alter Me for about 2 years now and I can't go back! I love that it knows my body personally. It tracks my sleep and steps which I love. And since I'm a mom, I love mindlessly following and workout and not having to come up with my own plan. This makes living a healthy lifestyle easier

I started this program because I felt lost in the sea of information out there about how to lose weight and I wanted something that would be sustainable and would give me some direction and feedback. I started the AlterMe program about 3 weeks ago and have already lost about 20 pounds. I look forward to the feedback that the app provides and I love the variety of workouts offered that you can do in your own home that fit my level of fitness. I’m feeling a lot better already and look forward to seeing what else I can accomplish with the help of this program.

Tried to make a DNA results appt because 1st appt I had to cancel due to a scheduling conflict I had and they won’t allow me to re-schedule. 9 emails MANY texts and nobody responds.

Awesome response time. Very easy instructions to speak with a live agent.

They are sending me things I did not approve and my personal “coach” does not answer my calls. The ring came with instructions that are impossible to read because the font is so small. A large box came without my consent or forewarning. I want to cancel now!!!

I ended up finding AlterMe somewhat accidentally and decided to try it on a whim mostly for the DNA report but I didn't expect to like the overall experience as much as I did. The mirror is gorgeous (also as a genuine mirror); the workouts are cool (and change/upgrade over time) and the customer experience is amazing. It took some troubleshooting to get my mirror to connect to my WiFi up front and the Alter team was amazing at working through it with me. Overall, I'm having a great experience with Alter!

I found a holistic practitioner that sends out DNA to generate a report for your specific genetic makeup. I browsed through her personal example. The cost was $435. I found this company, and I thought the $30 price was great. I was expecting something similar to the DNA book that the holistic practitioner showed me. I wasn't expecting a basic/average report..... Basically, everything I already know about my body. I was also disappointed with part of the report stating that my body was in normal parameters when breaking down complex carbohydrates.

I’ve only been using Alter for a short time on and off, but my impression so far is cautiously positive. The design is sleek and blends well into a home, and the interface is easy to navigate. The variety of classes and the quality of instructors stand out, making the experience feel polished and engaging. However, since I haven’t used it long enough, it’s hard to judge how well the content holds up over time or whether the cost will feel worthwhile in the long run. Overall, it shows a lot of promise, but I’d need a longer period of consistent use to fully evaluate its value.

Like most new things, the app takes a little while to figure out- I especially love the sleep data I get. They have great customer service as well.

I appreciate all of the added features constantly being applied. I’m very interested in getting to know my body and what’s best for it and ALTER has really helped me understand what my body needs and why. Buying the ring has changed how I take care of my body and my nutrition. The ability of food tracking and fitness tracking in one app that keeps your goals in mind was exactly what I was searching for. The customer service has been amazing very responsive and helpful!

I have had the best experience with them! I had surgery in March on my hand and my finger is still swollen and they are sending me a new ring free of charge!

I enjoy the Alterme ring and app. The app, along with the ring, tells me each morning what exercise routine is best for the day. I also log my meals and track my calories, protein, fat, and carbs. You can also use the app to track your steps.

I signed up for AlterMe 2 months ago after have trouble losing weight and feeling rested. So far it has been a great experience! The workouts provided in the app are easy to follow, customizable by time/type/level, and even change as you get stronger. The program makes it super easy to know what workout to do each day. I was also surprised to learn that my body performed better by giving it more time to rest than I realized. So that insight was helpful in my weight loss and strength journey. The customer service has been outstanding as well. Any question or issue I have had was quickly resolved. I also appreciate the DNA results that have been shared. Extremely interesting to understand what foods, exercise type, and recovery works for my body.

Scam-that sums up this company. I have reported them to government agency. They never followed through with scheduled calls with fitness advisor. They never sent me the results of my test (they were supposed to during the fitness advisor call). Now that have my DNA, and all I have is frustration and unanswered questions.

I wish I had researched this more, so that’s on me. I was hopeful that I would get some enlightening information about why I can’t lose weight. It was all very general and I was just average across the board. Except for bone density which I recently had checked. AlterMe said slightly above risk and my doctor said I “could be the poster child for women my age”! Then came the sales pitch and then the by the book pressure to which I could and did predict what would be said. At that point, I decided I had wasted enough of my money and wasn’t going to spend any more. So, basically, I learned nothing towards my weight loss journey.

I did my DNA test for 30.00. I am currently trying to cancel - and they are holding 799.99 for the DNA test for the "additional testing". Nowhere did it say that if I joined he App would I be charged another non refundable fee of 799.00. The original 30.00 price is misleading.

The first person I spoke with made this company seem fantastic, sounded like they check in on you and and that it was more than wearing an expensive, uncomfortable ring and doing exercises they suggested. A week in I realized this wasn't as expected and I hated wearing the bulky ring. I asked about canceling since they said I had 30 days to do so. And was met with well you still have to pay 800 bucks. For what? Some in-depth dna results I NEVER RECEIVED.

Buyer Beware! They advertise AlterMe to be HSA/FSA eligible. This was the main reasons I bought the ring. Unfortunately AlterMe has not been able to provide the necessary documentation to my FSA company so I can be reimbursed. I’ve reached out to my salesperson (Adam) and have not gotten a response. The initial cost for the ring was $99. The rest of cost is being financed at $125 a month for 12 months.

I purchased the dna kit at a discount. You do have to listen to a sales pitch. I knew this ahead of the game. I did decide to go ahead and purchase the whole kit, the ring, mirror. They were having a sale. I paid 99 down and 75 a month for 20 something months. Everything came quick. The ring was very bulky and I decided not for me. Then they offered to exchange it for a slim ring, This was much better. I have been using it ever since. I think I'm a month in. The ring does not register your sleep correctly. I try to relax around 830 and sleep at 9. I always get up at 4 for drink of water and go back to sleep. I never has me a sleep when I fall asleep and has me awake a 4. So then my daily score is low.

I wish I had read the reviews before agreeing to this. The ring doesn’t work. It is has never been accurate in my step count - off by thousands of steps compared to two other step counting devices. The ring glows green most of the time - which is annoying to sleep with and will ruin a photo by reflecting green everywhere. And the app doesn’t work like it said it would. They keep sending emails saying that it is due to an outage with a third party. After reading the reviews, sounds like it’s been a pretty long outage. Don’t waste your money. Which, by the way, is a ton of money…

Initially, I thought that the ring was great. But since then it has not been working properly. Does not track my sleep as it always seems to be disconnected. I also bought it with my FSA card and was told that it would be FSA eligible and since then I have been unable to get a legitimate receipt to turn in to my FSA card. I have asked for a receipt several times with no response. The only time they ever responded was to sell me another ring when mine was lost. Typical company trying to capitalize on people’s insecurities. Not worth $1699.
