There are things that I really like. My experience with my initial contact person was a good one. He was responsive and patient with all my questions. The products, bands, ring, and packaging are nice quality and well thought out. I received everything in the promised timeframe. I wear an Apple Watch and have been using Zoe app to help me make better food choices. I find that Align Me and Zoe are pretty well aligned in their analysis of my meals - so no complaint there. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is the steps, mileage on my walks is WAY off my Apple Watch by miles. And it also does not pick up my sometimes substantial awake time during the night. My Apple Watch is more accurate in those 2 areas. The reason this matters to me is one reason I went with AlterMe is to get the daily recommendations- so if the app thinks I had an hour two more sleep than I did, it’s going to make recommendations for workouts that may not be good.

I purchased the AlterMe System a few years back, opted for the Mirror system due to the value of having a lifetime membership once paid off. The set came with a biometric signal reader, the mirror, weight sets and pad. Also most notably was the app that helped bring it all together. The initial DNA report brought insights into how my body reacted specifically and made me feel in control and educated on how my plan would effect me directly. During workouts the signal (or biometric reader) shows your heart rate and lets you know what is your targeted rate, which helps you adjust your intensity in real time and has shown more effectiveness in fat burning.

For the better part of three decades, I have always listened to what trainers, nutritionists, and doctors have told me regarding my nutrition and exercise. And, for the better part of three decades, I have avoided carbs, eaten my weight in protein, walked more steps than I care to share, and have continually fought the scale. Then, at 47, this company came across my Instagram feed, and I immediately signed up! To finally have a blueprint to my own health - and not just follow what "they" say - was very intriguing to me! And it was a true Godsend! I learned that my body needs more carbs than protein (WHAT?!?!) and that strength training has a higher impact on my body than cardio exercise.

I purchased the program that includes the ring in April, so I am still new to the program. But as of right now, I do find it helpful! I love how helpful the program is with what I need to do to feel my best. I enjoy how this program is tailored to me. It gives me an insight of what diet is most helpful for me, also allows me to log my food in, meditation/mindfulness, workouts, or I can login my own. I enjoy the different options it provides. I also love how user friendly it is.

I've been using AlterMe for over a year, and I'm really happy with it. I joined because the option of having DNA testing to create a comprehensive recommendation plan that actually works for your body was very attractive. I bought the mirror because I wanted to create that separation of mind and space when working out, which just using the app on my phone wouldn't give me, and I love it. They truly value customer feedback; I've completed many surveys asking what could make the product better, whether you'd prefer this or that. The features and improvements are well thought out based on users' needs, and that shows integrity.

Using Alter Me has been a game changer for my health and fitness journey! The opportunity to have my biometrics and my fingertips has been super informative and motivating.

I'm so glad I joined Alter Me. I was depriving myself of carbs and still not losing weight wondering why and the test said that my body needs them! I love logging my meals, picture or description is spot on and makes it so easy to do. I' looking forward to my continuance of this program and its benefits.

I love my ring. I use to track my daily food log and my workouts. I also love I can check my vitals. It helps me keep my goals on track.

I found AlterMe once upon a time when I was scouring the internet. The program is lifelong once you pay it off, and the sleep tracking is well done. I believe the experience to be worth the time and capital.

I have been using my AlterMe Ring for about a year now. It has helped me understand my sleep patterns more, in addition to give me a better picture of how I should go about my day from an exercise standpoint. My favorite feature is the tailored workouts based on your readiness score, so I’m not going into each workout blind and I’m able to listen to my body more. One feature I wished it had was indicating when my stress levels are happening in real time, as well as sleep debt. Overall, it has helped my overall mindset towards to the holistic approach of my wellbeing.

The dna tests were NOT helpful. Total waste of money. I did not buy anything else from this company and glad I didn't. Don't waste your money.

At first I was I didn’t see a difference but once I started the program I was able to lose weight. With the proper nutrition they had planned out for me as well as the fitness. Lost 15 pounds so far.

Alter has been a great experience. Keeping track of workouts and also letting you know what intensity is best suited for that day based on your level of sleep and recovery. Highly recommend using the whole program. Customer support has been awesome!

AlterMe has helped me track my physical activity, sleep, and nutrition through their easy to use app. The workouts are easy to follow and there are a variety to choose from. I am horrible about tracking macros so being able to just snap a picture of my plate has been a life saver. The recipe generator has also been amazing because I struggle with deciding what to eat and meeting suggested intake every day.

I love this program. Very interactive and covers almost all the needs of the buyer. I can use as much or as little of their programs I need. I have used their workouts and am able to add my daily walking and tai chi that I already practice for more precise activity levels. Next, I will be diving into the nutrition piece.

This has been quite the experience. As a former anorexic, I have been struggling with weight since my 20s (now 60s). I am eating twice as much as previously, getting targeted workout advice, meditating regularly and sleeping better. Though I have not lost weight as yet, I have not gained (which is unusual for me), and I have hope that once my body gets used to getting enough nutrition, it will recognize the calorie deficit and start to shed weight. I like the all-around experience of this, and help is always friendly and available.

AlterMe has definitely helped me connect the dots between all factors influencing my health, from sleep to exercise to food and macros. I definitely have lost weight and I feel empowered to have control of my wellness. My one suggestion is they have a better way of visually presenting cumulative data patterns so that in a snapshot we can look at patterns over time, such as calorie intake, deep sleep, etc.

Joining AlterMe has been one of the best decisions I could have done for myself. Having all the data for sleep, planned out macros, and fitness tracking has helped my analytical brain navigate the lifestyle changes I need. I also didn’t realize that I over-do my work outs at times, so this has been such a great tool to take charge of my health and longevity.

I am motivated and excited about the program thus far. I found the information from the DNA section of the program to be especially helpful. Unfortunately, I lost my ring while on vacation shortly after beginning the program. When I contacted customer service they were very gracious to work with me in getting a replacement.

I am very disappointed with this program. It promises so much and delivers very little. The sales tactics are deceptive and aggressive. The program is very expensive and delivers very little. The ring only stays charged for about 12 hours and data is often lost or not reported in the program, like sleep data. It is unreliable at best. The fact that you are really given no return options as they want to charge you almost $1000 for the DNA test if you ever return the item. Do not waste your money.

I have been frustrated at times with the app constantly changing, delays with delivery of my ring and always having to start again at the beginning when I interact with customer service. That said the App is an amazing tool, the changes do bring added benefit, and I cannot say enough about the relentless professionalism of the staff I have interjected with. Customer satisfaction and helping people is really their mission. I joined AlterMe to continue my own health journey. During the course I discovered I have autoimmune disease. Of course I had to work with a doctor on the issues but now that is under better control. I’m looking forward to seeing where I can go from here with the AlterMe.

I like the concept behind AlterMe, using your DNA profile as a foundation for determining the best type of fitness approach to achieve your health goals is smart. I am a believer in using biometrics to understand your capacity and to know what your body can handle based on your sleep and other data points. It has been a game changer for me. It helps me understand how I should show up for the day - if I’m ready to do a strength workout, or focus on cardio, or maybe I need to focus on recovery instead. I like the modifications AlterMe has made with access to their workouts (i.e. phone vs screen only), the signal hasn’t been my favorite wearable but the option to switch to a ring instead is a smart change. All in all if you are looking for a structured and easy to follow fitness regimen backed by science and data, Alter Me is a solid option.

The results were helpful. Everything came fast. I downloaded my results. My consultation guy was pretty honest with me. Still a hard sell for the program, apps, etc.... They must work on commission. I didn't fall for it. It might be needed and right for some people. I am not that structured or want anyone or thing deciding my life.

Everything was great at first. Yes it was kind of expensive but I was able to finance it for a year. Having all the data was great, and I learned a little bit about myself. But you still had to record your food, which is not my favorite part. What I really liked about it were the exercises, but I didn’t know there was only six levels and I work out about four days a week. I’ve been stuck at level six for many months now. I’ve been waiting for updates to their exercises in which they keep telling me after I have emailed them about three times, that they would update them. I’m still waiting and I am disappointed in the purchase. I did do my research and I’m not paying a monthly membership fee, but I’m stuck in a rut with the exercises. I don’t use it all the time like I used to.

This journey has really been eye opening. I have lost inches, toned, gained flexibility and I am also better aware of my sleep patterns and schedule. I was skeptical about it at first. The exercise routines and levels allow me the proper recovery time and gives me great options when I want to just take it easy. I am very satisfied with my decision to get involved with the Alter Me program.

The guy who signed me up was understanding, supportive and patient. The app has been very helpful at determining what time of day is best for me to workout. And monitoring my recovery has helped me pay attention to my sleeping habits. I’m just starting to dive into the eating portion of the app. But this far that has come up pretty easy as well. Workouts I’ve found challenging but not intimidating. Easy use app and help is always a message away. So far it’s worth the $$. As a new mom it’s nice to learn how my body has changed.

Avoid AlterMe like the plague. I got their $29 DNA test kit...sent it in on June 8, 2026...as on today 06/26/2026 I NOT HEARD back with any results. I have reached out to their customer support two times with messages...still NOTHING!

I am so happy with my AlterMe system! This is cutting edge technology that is tailored to my DNA and my real time biometric data and I am convinced there is nothing else like this on the market. Every morning I have a specialized work out, meal plan and guidance for my day based on my readiness level. I chose the silver ring and it's gorgeous and so comfortable. All this technology carries over to the smart fitness mirror which has become my personal trainer and I look forward to my work outs now. I have tried everything out there and this is working for me and I am seeing and feeling incredible results. This is real! The customer service is fantastic and I wish I could give AlterMe 10 stars!

Christopher spend quality time with me and understand my concerns. No pressure and allowed me the time I need to make a decision. Even though I have other health reason I did not go forward with the plan, I do believe that Christopher would have me on a great plan and supported through out my progress. BEST investment I have made towards changing my habits to living a new happier healthier lifestyle with ease. Not only does the ring tell me how I slept/ My heart rate and so much more but it tells me when the best time to work out is and what days are best to workout based off the information from the day and night before. It also helps me keep track of my meals and helps me hit the goals I need to hit in order to lose the weight. Also, when you don't want to eat the same thing every day you can put ingredients you want and it will give you back amazing meal ideas along with giving you other meal ideas for the week. Not to mention you get an amazing Coach that if you have any questions, you can call or email and they get right back to you super-fast to help you out! My person is Christopher HE HAS BEEN AMAZING!

I'm so impressed with my experience with the Alter app and ring. I was excited about the DNA aspect of this company, and loved seeing the results of my own individualized test. Knowing that everything is centered around my personal DNA and my individual needs has been game-changing. My favorite aspect of the ring is knowing exactly what my sleep is like every night. I was able to see where I could improve my sleep every night so that my overall health will improve as well. I'm 56 years old, and have loved incorporating Alter into my health experience every day. The staff has been so amazing to help me with questions I've had as well. They have been great. I highly recommend Alter as a way to elevate and improve your health in all aspects of life.

I didn’t know what I was getting into when I did the DNA testing. I feel like it was a set up to buy the plan. I bought the plan and it’s been going good so far. They give you a suggestions each day which I like because I’m good at following steps. I like the reminders to do meditation, mindfulness and stretch. Those are things I could get better at. I don’t like to track food on the app. The tracking tool is not customizable enough for me.
