I was admittedly hesitant to make sure an expensive purchase - especially from a new(ish) company, but I’m so glad I did. I'm so grateful to have access to this outstanding machine and coaching, all from the comfort of my own home. The system really replaces a personal trainer and a gym membership, so you have to keep that in mind to justify the cost. I love the workouts and finally understand what I should be eating and how much. I’ve had it in my house for 2 months and I’m down 17 lbs.

I have had my Alter System for one month now (anniversary celebration is in order!). It's really been a godsend to me. My life is busy and complicated and I can't deal with finding time to work out. I will not go to gym anymore at my age. It's too much of a scene. But having this Alter gym in my house means I can work out easily on my schedule. I like that the classes and food recommendations are all science-based. It feels like they understand me and my body better than I even do. After all they analyzed my DNA and know me inside out haha. This is what sets alter apart.

First off I’ve always been husky my whole life. I’ve never really had washboard abs or the ability to really lose weight the way that other people have done it. At least that’s the way I watched it happen my whole life. On a whim I actually clicked on an ad from Alter on Insta and ended up buying a DNA kit test just for the DNA results. What I ended up doing with purchasing the entire system. It was a bit clunky at first, (my reason for the 4 stars), but since the software updates, and once I got in the groove it got way better.

I think it is very well priced at $2995 + tax + free delivery. I’ve completed my plan every month and have never paid a membership fee. I broke down the payment and put $1000 down via Affirm then got the rest financed at 0%. I'm paying about $110 all in per month, which is a fair price to me. It’s $40 less than my gym membership. With my gym, I didn’t get personalized plans, coaching, or a nutrition plan which has been huge for me.

At 65, I wanted a low-impact, effective way to stay healthy. Alter Mirror has been perfect. The workouts are tailored to my fitness level, and the nutrition advice helps a lot. I’ve lost 12 lbs in three months. The customer support rep Ryan was very helpful in getting me set up. Recommend for seniors.

The instructors are fantastic, especially Erica. I've never been one for gyms, so the Alter Mirror seemed like a great alternative. The first few weeks were tough, but the personalized plans kept me motivated. Now, I look forward to my workouts, and I'm seeing real progress.
