I love my bed. I can honestly say that every morning it's a struggle getting out of that bed. However, I'm certainly lucky that when I'm off work I get to jump back into that real life cloud of a bed.

We purchased our Tempur-Pedic Cloud Prima mattress 3/18. Our mattress dips on both sides WHEN someone lies down on it. When no one is in the bed, there is no dip. It's so bad my husband has to get out of bed, turn around and get back into bed in order to turn over. But, this doesn't meet the dishonest company's warranty. The memory foam doesn't sag when no one's on the bed. My husband and I are attempting to work with the company, but when we take pictures, etc., we're well aware we're among the multitudes of others with the exact same problem. I think Better Business Bureau needs to investigate!

We purchased this Tempur-Pedic mattress about 10 years ago and it looks like new today. There is no sagging like you get in a typical mattress and the firmness is great if you have a bad back. This was ordered directly from the Tempurpedic website, and it was delivered into our bedroom, which was nice because that mattress is heavy! My only complaint is that it tends to hold in body heat and can get too warm for my liking.

Love the mattress for its good support cooling system that provides comfort. Mattress system was somewhat expensive compared to comparable brands. The ten year warranty is adequate. The mattress provides even distribution of weight for comfort and support for the entire body. Overall, this is a decent mattress.

I have had my mattress for 10+ years. I love it. I know that mattresses are to be replaced sooner than that but.. there was no need to. I plan to get another one on a year or two. I lived in a different place and they delivered the mattress and took the old one away. My late husband was heavier than me but he chose the Tempur-Pedic. We both got a great night's sleep the first time.

I think that the mattress with its cooling technology is a failure on the cooling factor and it wore down quickly and left me with a depression that was too large in a matter of no more than 24 months. BTW, I am a 5'11" man and weight 180 so it's not me!

One thing I like about being able to pick out a mattress besides the obvious is when they come in colors that’s not your typical mattress. I bought a mattress in June thinking it was just right. Come to find out it was too stiff and the exchange for a better fit was hassle free. I couldn’t say much for delivery as I bought my mattress out of state and had full intentions on bringing it home myself but I’m sure delivery was excellent as well.

The bed is too firm and is, therefore, uncomfortable. I don't feel like I had sufficient time to test the mattress. It felt fine when I sat on it, but when I got it home and tried to sleep on it I was unable to get comfortable. Unfortunately, I could not return the mattress and I have tried to sell it to no avail.

My family love the brand. Finally I decided to get the mattress even it’s expensive and I’m going need to pay it for couple year. After getting the mattress I call the lady who sell me the mattress and tell her this is different than the one we choose. Is hard. My body is hurt. She told me, "Oh you need to wait to break it." So I trust her and keep it and call again. She said minimum I need to sleep on it for 90 day to break and I can return it. After 90 day well it already more than 90 day, so I can’t do anything. I been telling her that I want to return it again and again.
Calling customer service no help. They blaming store. Calling the store. They won’t let me speak to manager. Never get back to me, so I purchased this mattress on November 2018. From December 2018 until today no solution, no help. They don’t even care that the mattress is hurting me. I can’t even sleep on the mattress that I’m still paying for, and the customer lady saying, "Well okay if you can get statements from a doctor that the mattress make you sick we will refund you for full." I said okay because doctor always said, "change your mattress," and they need a letter confirming from a doctor that state Tempur-Pedic make my back hurt. How can a doctor write their name? They know I won’t be able to get tempur-pedic name on the doctor note.
When I state that I see all bad reviews with same problem they said that is a fake review. I can make sure that I have a receipt. I have email to them and also I have proof that my back mess up since I sleep on the mattress. When I sleep on other bed is getting better. Just be careful. I know they have a good product just bad customer service that doesn’t even care. Only care about sale and commissions. It is sad. I believe when they saying that this mattress is good and the best, But for people who want to buy this make sure you know the risk, and if you complaints and ask for refund please have proof email or record the phone. Other than that, you just keep paying for something that hurting you.

I bought from the Swindon outlet (both bed and mattress). The slatted section of the bed has broken twice within a year of ownership, and repairs (in my experience) take at a minimum 1 month. The broken slatted section has caused a severe dip in the middle of the bid, which has led to my partner and I sleeping at the opposite end of the bed in order to ease the back pain caused by the large dip. Replacement mattress did not meet the standard of the original. We purchased the Sweet Sleeper and were pleased with it. After 8 years the sides started to collapse. It was replaced under warranty with a Sayer Prosense. However, the Sayer Prosense has motion transfer. When one person moves the movement transfer across to the other side. This prohibits an uninterrupted sleep. The Sweet Sleeper had zero motion transfer which is why we purchased it. You literally could not detect the other person in the bed. We were told by Bill ** that the replacement mattress is equivalent in quality to the Sweet Sleeper. It is not. It is deficient in a critical aspect. Motion transfer is one quality mattress companies highlight. Obviously this is an important aspect of a good night's sleep. We are asking for an equivalent replacement like the warranty says. Memory Foam - Warranty vs. "A normal increase in softness". I wish they advised us about this warranty statement before we purchased. This statement basically is the hidden "catch" when you buy. Our mattress (we bought the firm one, and we loved it), in a little over a year has produce a squishy soft sink hole, on both sides, where our body core rests. The "catch", after you get off the bed, the "memory foam" remembers to be flat, no warranty claim. So how many years do I have to wait to produce a 3/4" depression which would be honored? So memory foam, or its versions, is a great product to produce revenue without any hassles.

I ordered a mattress from Tempur-Pedic and after sleeping on it for a week, I could barely walk. My low back was in spasms, my neck was so stiff I could hardly turn it, and my entire body ached. (For reference, I'm a 5'6" 125 pound endurance runner. So sleep is absolutely imperative for me.) When I called to ask for a return and refund, the woman in customer service started lecturing me about how the mattress takes 30 to 90 days to "break in". I laughed at her, saying I absolutely did NOT have 1-3 months to break in a mattress, leading to back problems and lack of sleep! No other mattress I've owned required a break in period. It's utterly absurd that this is the company's motto. So she then took all my information down, stating someone in returns would call me back the next day.
No one did. I called back, explained my situation and the person on the phone said all of my information had been sent to the wrong department. So we started over again. The following day I received a call from a woman named Laney from the returns department, who left me a voice mail message with her return phone number. She warned that she's on the phone "all day", so that I should leave her a voice msg. When I called her back, the number she had given me lead to a mystery machine with a generic message. I left several messages, and she never returned my call. I then called the customer service line AGAIN.
The woman who answered this time told me that this so called Laney from returns who had contacted me was on the phone. I asked if I could leave her a voice mail. She implied that Laney didn't have a voice mail. I told her that Laney had specifically reiterated that I leave a message on her voice mail. Now I'm being told she doesn't have voice mail?! This left me wondering who was lying about what, or if the entire company is so inept that absolutely no one knows what they're doing. I'm now on my 5th phone call to these people and still haven't gotten an answer. This company is AWFUL. Their customer service is TERRIBLE! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS.

It has changed our lives by depriving us of adequate REM sleep, aggravating neuropathy, plus frustrating us with no customer service satisfaction! I'd broken my neck & suffered additional physical trauma. Unfortunately, Tempur-Pedic has failed to stand by its own warranty, offering instead an obstacle course of bureaucratic impediments without fulfillment or closure! Don't trust them, folks...
mattress. You photo those and/or send them in, but they then tell you that you need another set of tags after having failed to specify originally which ones
they needed.
After receiving the proper identification, verifying your qualification for warranty coverage, they next REQUIRE ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS OF THE INDENTATIONS!!! Your discomfort isn't adequate for coverage; no, they need to validate that your expensive purchase of their top product failedto certain parameters! So, you retrieve a yardstick and a level, measure the failed density of Tempur-Pedic's premiere product & send those in. They then respond with an "inadequate method of measurement" correspondence, requiring a repeat to specific parameters of THEIR process--ALL WHILE YOU ARE QUITE LITERALLY LOSING SLEEP BECAUSE OF THEIR FAILED PRODUCT!!
Next, they may affirm that you've qualified for a refund, but Tempur-Pedic takes no initiative in reaching out to inform you of a protocol for finally receiving compensatory costs recuperation or bringing closure to your claim. You're left with a failed product needing disposal & compensation. DON'T DO IT, FOLKS!!! If you fail to heed this warning, keep your documents (proofs of purchase, mattress tags (perhaps even your own proof of humanity--lol) & have some scientific tools available to prove that their products have failed as poorly as their promises to stand responsibly behind them. I have a Grand Tempur-Pedic (over $6,000) because I have a bad back. It came with a lifetime warranty. After several years of use the mattress wears out. I sink so far down in the mattress at night. It is like crawling out of a hole to turn over. Forget back support. The reason I was willing to spend that kind of money was for back support. I tried to file a claim under my lifetime warranty. After several days of back and forth runaround, they declined the claim. They say it is "normal". So, if you want to spend a bunch of money on a mattress for your back only to have it hurt your back several years in with no warranty, Tempur-Pedic is for you.

Tempurpedic mattresses have a reputation as high quality for a very high price. Yes, the mattress is indeed a very high quality -- I have never experienced as great a sleep in my life! I had purchased the Ergo adjustable bed with a mattress that stays cool; clearly, everything about the mattress and bed have been well thought through.
With the adjustable bed, I was advised correctly that one needs extra-long fitted sheets (this allows room for the mattress to "bend)." So I called Tempurpedic to order two sets of sheets and paid $25 for express shipping so I could have them before the bed arrived. This is where it gets interesting, as Tempurpedic proved multiple times that it not only deserves its reputation for high prices, but it does what it can to charge the customer as much as it can. And I have total confidence that should an opportunity arise where the company can make an extra buck out of the customer, even if the customer has a reasonable request, Tempurpedic will do everything in its power to do so.
First, Tempurpedic did not divulge anywhere that the sheets are commonly available sheets by DreamFit. The reason they don't mention that is that they (on their website) make them sound specially formulated for Tempurpedic, and then they charge significantly more than DreamFit sheets that can be found elsewhere. Second, if you get the sheets, don't open the package (because you see they are DreamFit) and want to return them, Tempurpedic will not take them back, treating them the same as if they had been opened and used (we all know used bedding cannot be returned, but not unopened bedding!)
Third, when the bed arrives a few days after you ordered it, you will find a coupon in the bed that says, "Register, and then buy one set of sheets from Tempurpedic and get a second one for free!" Since I had no idea I would be getting this coupon and since I had wanted my sheets to be there when the bed arrived, I had ordered them in advance. When I called Tempurpedic Customer Service to get them to apply the coupon, they said I had to do that before I ordered the sheets, not after.
Most stores would have simply credited me -- I mean, why let a customer who purchased a bed for around $10K walk away upset about $100 for a set of sheets when the customer did the most important things Tempurpedic wanted: Buy the bed and mattress, buy the sheets, and register the bed, all within a few days of one another. I have no doubt that should something happen to the bed just one day after the warranty expires, Tempurpedic would be the rare company to say, "Too bad, the warranty had expired!" Bottom-line for a Tempur-pedic product:
- Great bed- Very highly priced
- Company that you never want to do business with
Now, you need to decide what to do.

Bought the Tempur-Pedic mattress about 6 months ago. The guy in the store pushed one of the brand new ones that just came out. Said it was the best (Sorry I'm so frustrated I cannot remember which mattress it was). We kept that mattress about 2 months and could not deal with it. It was like sleeping on a concrete floor. So we returned that mattress and received another one, the Contour Elite Medium, at a cost of $170. Ridiculous.
We now have had the new mattress about 5-6 months and it is AWFUL. My husband now has chronic neck and back pain. I have not had a good night sleep in months. The mattress already sags in on the sides where you would normally sit to get into bed. We are not heavy people. This is a $4000 mattress that I am stuck with now. We have to sleep on our air mattress if we need a good night sleep.
Oh, also I would like to add, when the guys came to deliver my first mattress, they were not big enough to get the mattress up the stairs to our bedroom nor could they lift the adjustable bed frame. They returned the following day. Upon trying to get the frame upstairs they tore our walls up, dug the box into the drywall and tore up the door frame. Totally uncalled for. Bottom line is.... DO NOT BUY A TEMPUR-PEDIC MATTRESS.

I purchased a $5000 model Contour Elite Breeze in 2015. After 3 years the mattress became uncomfortable. The warranty department denied my claim because the impressions in the mattress weren't deep enough. They did however allow me to replace the mattress as a one time courtesy (I had to pay $175 shipping.) So I got a new replacement mattress (same model, different year) and after having it 6 months the mattress has already become uncomfortable. If you lie on it, you sink to the bottom. When you get out the mattress looks new, but it is not right. I thought I was crazy, and had my wife sleep on my side of the bed and she couldn't believe how uncomfortable it was.
So after going through the 2nd warranty process I've had my claim denied. This company won't budge, because my mattress doesn't meet their criteria. They even claim to not warrant the "comfort" of the mattress. This is crazy to me. Mattresses are all about comfort, how can they not warrant that? Bottom line is I'm now sleeping on a $100 Walmart mattress in the guest room which has kept up better over the years than my Tempur-Pedic. I'll never buy a Tempur-Pedic mattress again and highly suggest against purchasing from this company. You would think that spending $5000 on a mattress would get a mattress that would last at least 10 years. Caveat emptor.

It is impossible to turn over with my back limitations. No other mattress causes this type of pain. Often, I can barely stand in the morning. I purchased a "top of the line" Tempur-Pedic mattress in 2013. It is called the Cloud Luxe king mattress. I spent $5,400 to buy a bed and 6 years into ownership, the bed has a noticeable sag & loss of support directly in the center of the bed. There is no comfortable way to lay on this mattress anymore and I toss and turn all night, then awaken with back pain because the mattress no longer performs as it did when I purchased it.
I'm disappointed to the extreme because when I contacted Tempur-Pedic to honor their 10 year warranty, they denied my claim, in spite of providing them tremendous detail and photos of the defect. They do not seem to stand by their product or their warranty and IMMEDIATELY denied my claim the very day I submitted it with all the required information to show the defect. I do not respect their practice of claim DENIAL after making the customer jump through hoops to take half a dozen photos to prove the claim is valid, and demonstrate the defect. I would not waste my time submitting a claim with multiple photos showing sagging and loss of support if the defect did not exist. What would be the point?
It is disappointing when a company that sells "top of the line" mattresses for over $5,000 has a product fail 6 years into the 10 year warranty and refuses to work with me to repair or replace the defective mattress. I would not recommend anyone waste their time or money on a company who treats customers like this. It feels very unfair and makes the mattress seem way over priced if it only lasts such a short period of time. I feel as though I was taken advantage of by their deceptive warranty protection and was defrauded of a lot of money that I would have otherwise spent with a company who produces better quality products or honors their warranty!

I have rheumatoid arthritis and recently replaced a 10+ year old coil spring mattress with this model mattress. I purchased the box springs and the mattress, but not the adjustable base. I paid $4,500 for this mattress begrudgingly because it was endorsed by the Arthritis Foundation and GUARANTEED for customer satisfaction. Keep this in mind as you read.
30 days after we purchased the mattress, we were not happy with it. It was too firm, so we went through where we purchased it for a replacement to a softer mattress. We originally purchased the firm and asked the reseller to exchange it for a medium. The reseller gladly exchanged it. No issues yet. Another 30 days and we agreed that it was still too firm and decided we wanted the soft mattress instead. I only weigh 120 lbs but my arthritis is so bad I cannot walk without assistance and I really need a good night's rest. Because we had already done 1 exchange, the reseller told us we would have to go through Tempur-Pedic. So the next day I called and found out the process from a GREAT rep on their customer service line. He was so helpful and nice. I immediately went online and filed a claim, specifically stating that this was not a DEFECT, included pictures and my receipt.
Within a couple of hours I had a response that my WARRANTY defect claim had been reviewed and denied. Obviously they didn't READ my request stating there wasn't anything wrong with it, we just were not satisfied with the purchase and only wanted an exchange to a soft level mattress. I even told them that I was considering buying the adjustable base, hoping that would make it better as well. I was fine with the $175 delivery and set up charge, which technically I shouldn't have to pay but I completely understand this and don't have an issue paying. So, I wrote back to claims and told them that I don't have a WARRANTY claim, but a satisfaction claim and to please have the right dept call or email me.
No word within a 2 week time period, so I wrote to them again. Again, I received a response apologizing for the issue and they would have the proper department contact me. Again, nothing from them so I wrote again. This has been going on for 2 MONTHS! I have REPEATEDLY asked for a manager to contact me but no one ever has. I told them they were going to be sorry because I will hire an attorney and I will sue for the $4,500 mattress, plus all the pain and suffering this is causing me and the time I've had to invest in writing to them and writing this and many other posts that I will be writing.
What happened to the complete CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEE they tout? There is no satisfaction guarantee. After they have your money, they don't seem to care that you are not satisfied. How much would they really be out if they just exchanged my mattress? Recall, I was still willing to invest in the adjustable base and pay the delivery fee. They would be out nothing and they would then have a very happy customer, who sleeps comfortably (hopefully with the softer model) and who would tell everyone what a great company. Instead, they cannot seem to get their act together.
I am very, very, very disappointed and will be calling my lawyer and the local news channel to report this to them as well. I will also be posting this everywhere I can think to post on social media. This is just totally unacceptable in my opinion. In the long run, they are going to be sorry they didn't just simply exchange my mattress. I've worked for attorneys for years, my brother-in-law is a US Attorney in Wichita and so is my sister-in-law. Good luck Tempur-Pedic, your NOT HAPPY AND NEVER AGAIN CUSTOMER.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I originally purchased a mattress & foundation set from them in 2007. After 7 years of use the mattress developed a severe, permanent sag on one side. I started a warranty claim & they sent me a new mattress set of comparable make. 4 years later and the foundation has become so ridiculously squeaky that it wakes you up if you even roll over in bed at night! Started ANOTHER warranty claim & after getting the runaround for 2 weeks I am finally set to receive a new foundation next week.
Today as I was changing my bedding I noticed the mattress itself has again developed sags! Mind you, this set is only 4 years old as it was switched out in 2015 due to that original mattress sagging as well! I contacted Tempur-Pedic about doing another warranty claim & was informed that, even though my current set is only 4 years old, they would only offer me a 50% discount on the purchase of another set to replace it. The CSR was incredibly rude, and even though the executive manager I spoke with conceded that it sounded like I had been sent a defective mattress set in the warranty exchange 4 years ago, they were under no obligation to have to replace it.
Tempur-Pedic's warranty is a sham! Sure, they might replace a defective mattress within the first 10 years, but apparently they replace them with defective ones as a ploy to try to get even more $ out of their customers. I will NEVER purchase anything from this company again & I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM to anyone! These days you can get a mattress set of equal or better value for a lot less money from other reputable companies. There was an awful odor we were warned about by our salesperson with this mattress, and it did take its sweet time to dissipate (2 months I think?). Hate to think of what we put our lungs through. We had high expectations likely due to the hype surrounding memory foam.
In hindsight, there were issues from the get-go. I think we were in denial it could be this expensive mattress that's supposed to be the best. Somewhere along the line both my husband and I started waking up with pain. Full back pain, the kind that almost knocks the breath out of you when you try to take a breath. I started getting migraines far more often. My husband was waking up with headaches and back pain which would cramp up and cause shoulder/neck tension and tension headaches.
I thought for a long time my back pain was because I'd ridden horses competitively through my childhood and into my mid 20s. I trained horses for nearly a decade before the economy took a crap in 2008, I was riding 6-8 horses a day 5-6 days a week. My husband grew up helping on his family farm and also had a back injury from a 4 wheeler accident. We justified the pain by thinking we'd been hard on our bodies over the years. We blamed our pillows for the neck pain and headaches. We spent SO much money on trying different pillows. We both also started suffering from insomnia, and this was relatively early on in having this mattress. We both blamed our high stress jobs (I was working in an office for a large financial corporation by the time we purchased this).
The only time I slept deeply on this mattress was when I'd had our child, and was so sleep deprived in those early months. Early on also, my husband started snoring, - like freight train coming through the wall snoring. He used to only snore if he was sick or drank too much. Which was mostly in our early 20s partying with friends. I hate snoring, I can't describe with which the anger that boils up within me when I hear it. I had to start wearing earplugs in 2012 to get any sleep. The long term use has damaged my ears and caused tinnitus. Within the last few months, his snoring had progressively gotten worse to the point where we started rotating who slept on the couch. That's when we noticed we were waking up without pain, and I never heard him freight train snoring from across the house. I feel like an idiot, that I never considered the mattress as a problem.
We recently purchased a new mattress (a Sealy Posturepedic plush pillowtop), and with our first sleep on it we woke up pain free and there was no snoring. Our first couple nights were not the best sleep on the new mattress. We woke up frequently, but by night three we both had such improvements in quality of sleep. My insomnia has disappeared, my husband's has lessened considerably. I'm waking less, and falling asleep faster. The snoring is gone. I haven't been brave enough to remove the earplugs (I did switch to wax plugs to prevent further damage to my ears). I've had one migraine since switching mattresses, but I was getting 2-3 a week. I'm hopeful they will at least decrease in frequency now that I'm getting better rest.
I cannot in good faith recommend this mattress. When we were mattress shopping, my body had a strong aversion to the newer TempurPedics, the Sealy hybrids, and any mattress that I laid directly on the memory foam. Hope this prevents others from years of pain and horrible sleep. I've also left this review on Amazon.

We spent $4500 on a mattress that could not withstand the duration of the warranty. Our mattress lost its firmness, which is the only reason we made the purchase, within 6 of the 10 year warranty and we are extremely disappointed that Tempur-Pedic has denied our claim. They are saying we are making a comfort complaint because they cannot physically see the defect even though they will tell you that they accept written descriptions of mattress defects that cannot visibly be seen. When you go to make a purchase of this price with Tempur-Pedic please understand that there is a very good chance the length of quality will not last. I encourage those of you desiring a quality mattress to spend your money elsewhere.

Although I’m writing this review in 2019, we purchased ours in 2006. It took about 3 weeks to get used to rolling over because this mattress doesn’t have springs and, therefore, doesn’t bounce when we move. We LOVE THIS MATTRESS! I was reading the more recent purchasers reviews and I just had to defend this AWESOME MATTRESS and box spring!
However, I DO recall a weird smell at first, but it disappeared quickly and we have NO REMORSE after having purchased this. AND it does have two permanent impressions where our bodies have been all these years, but we will get at least a partial discount for a new one. But NOW I’m wondering whether they’re not made as well as they were in 2006! We shall soon see!

These beds are the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. I have been in hotels, have purchased other brand names in the past years, but have never slept on a mattress that was so uncomfortable. I have had these for two years and have not had one decent night's sleep and my back is killing me from this mattress. I keep thinking it will get better, but it gets worse. The only good thing about the bed is the massage, but then when it goes off, it is back to the worst bed mattress of all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS MATTRESS.

Horrible. Back, neck, and body pain started after sleeping on memory foam. So very expensive. Difficult to get out of. Difficult to roll over in. Would never recommend a Tempur-Pedic mattress. The edges of the mattress remain firmer while the center sinks making it harder to get out of. The mattress when looking at it appears to return to a level surface after you get out. Spoke with Tempur-Pedic and was told because mattress returned to level no warranty or returns were valid. Such a disappointing mattress. I am a teacher and had hoped that my hard earned money would be well spent with the brand... I failed in getting a good mattress.

My husband bought yesterday, January 22, 2 Tempur-Cloud Breeze Dual Cooling - king size pillows. He bought them at a Bedding Mart store in Jonesboro, AR. The store doesn't have a demo pillow so you can at least rest your head for a minute and see how it feels. The sales person told us that is an expensive pillow, he took it out from the box and brake a little bit the plastic so my husband could try it. You cannot see actually how it is because the bag had still air and you only can tell after sleeping at night.
After sleeping last night, I woke up with my neck stiff, the pillow is too high and too firm. Called the store today, but they apologized for my discomfort, told me that they can't do anything about it. Sent an email and called to Tempur-Pedic and they told me that they cannot do anything since I didn't bought it straight from their website, even so they weren't sure if they could help me. So here I am stuck with a pillow that causes me neck pains, was expensive and the company does not do anything to help you.

My husband and I went to our local Mattress and More store to purchase a new mattress. We laid on a Tempur-Pedic and wow oh wow, fell in love. I asked if we could purchase the floor model and was told no. So, we ordered a new one at over $4,000.00. When it arrived it stank to high Heaven. The store told us to be patient, the smell would go away. It did - but who knows what we were breathing - and might still be breathing. The mattress was SO uncomfortable, we were shocked. They said it takes time to break it in. They told us to walk on it, to have our dogs walk on it. We complained of sweating and they suggested an expensive wool mattress pad. No help.
Four years later the mattress is still terribly uncomfortable and the sweating continues. We don't sleep well at night and wake up with aches. I also purchased a full size mattress of a different brand at less than 500.00. It is a million times better than this $4,000 piece of garbage. I contacted Tempur-Pedic and they told me since I didn't purchase from them I need to take it up with the store. I told them that was a cop-out. It is THEIR product and they need to stand behind it. Basically the mattress on display was a total fabricated, misrepresentation of what they were actually selling so that stupid people would purchase it. That is false advertising. Seems that would be against the law and we should all be able to do something about it! If they won't stand behind their product I won't stand with them. I will NEVER purchase a Tempur-Pedic again.

As a consumer, make sure to do your research. Tempur-Pedic has an excellent marketing strategy that lets people believe this products are amazing. WRONG. Defective, painful and the company's warranty claim has its flaws. I have dealt with the company 3x now (Jan. 2018-Jan 2019) to replace a defective mattress. DO NOT FALL FOR THE MARKETING GIMMICKS, STRONG ADVERTISING IMAGES, AND FALSE REVIEWS. There are enough claims, photos, complaints, and honest statements from REAL CONSUMERS to go against their company's image. The mattress does not conform to your body and in some cases does leave mold. You will end up sleeping in a hammock like position and if ailments precede you, then expect for them to flare up.
After my review was denied, I was informed that the main supervisor in Kentucky would call me. That was on Thursday morning at 8 am EST. I called back on Friday, and they said he was out and leaves at 5 pm. WRONG. He doesn't take calls. The company lied that he tried to call me several times and that we were playing phone tag. REMEMBER, THEY RECORD EVERY PHONE CALL SO THEY CLAIM.
I was willing to show my phone records to verify that it was a lie. After all the hustle and on Tuesday afternoon, I was informed they would just do this as a courtesy and that he would not take the phone call. The representative named "Chantel - Kentucky Office" was RUDE. Whoever hired this lady for customer services has ZERO business hiring anyone. The professionalism was uncalled for and as a consumer, it's unacceptable. I called back 3x and finally got an intelligent agent who was honest. Overall, I wouldn't buy from this company knowing the products do NOT LAST and they will deny a claim to better protect the company. Honesty is no longer a concern in America.

We purchased the Tempur Cloud Supreme for a little over $3000. Several months after sleeping on it we noticed body impressions and my wife and I were sleeping in divots. The sad thing is we continued to do this for approximately 2 years before we had enough. We understand that there can be an occasional "lemon" in the lot and we upgraded to the Cloud Supreme Breeze which is the same mattress but is supposed to sleep cooler - WRONG at a cost of $1900 for the upgrade. 3 months into the new mattress, guess what, yep huge body impressions again. We procrastinated as the warranty exchange process is a royal pain. This time when we called we told them that we have had 2 of the same model and neither has lasted for over a year. No problem as long as we pay the upgrade fee.
I explained that I felt that we should not have to pay a fee as I know (I used to sell them for a retailer) what kind of profit they have on these (the wholesale price is $2200 for a $4999 mattress), but they stuck to their guns, as I spoke to supervisor after supervisor, they finally agreed to reduce the upgrade by 50%. This is something, but ridiculous after 2 mattresses failed. Each level of increase up the chain was met with a higher level of arrogance and entitlement to the company. I was told that the head Executive Services Margaret ** would call me back and I am still waiting for that call, so I looked up the email of the CEO Scott Thompson and sent him an email explaining the pompous attitudes of everyone that I had spoken to and asked him for an explanation.
I did receive a call back later in the day from someone other than Scott Thompson explaining that he does not deal with customers and to explain to me to either take their offer or leave it! I asked to speak to him and was declined. I guess that the arrogance of this company starts from the top and works its way down. The entire company especially the CEO has lost touch with the customer that has put them where they are!

We spent over $4K for the firmest Tempur-Pedic and the base that we were told was required or else the warranty would be nullified. Within three months, barely after the outgassing period was past, the firmness of the mattress was gone. Leaning into it is like putting a hand in clay. Every morning we wake up stiff and in joint pain in the lower back and hip joints. The mattress holds heat from the time you lay down, so after 2 hours you wake up baking. After a few months we tried to send back the mattress; it was not for us and not what we paid for. We had been not shown the bogus warranty until after we bought the mattress, so be sure to read it carefully in advance.
The only thing covered by the warranty is the very top surface of the mattress. You have to take a picture of the mattress with a yardstick or broomstick across it and a quarter leaning against the stick. The surface has to show something like an inch of indentation. So they designed an overpriced sponge with a surface layer that bounces back—clever thing will never dent at the surface. I am not a heavy person, maybe 115 pounds, but my entire body sinks into this thing advertised as extra firm, and turning over at night or getting out of bed in the morning is like hauling myself out of quicksand.
The company is evasive, used delay tactics, and ultimately does not stand by their product design. I’ve never seen such a crooked warranty and we are shocked that an established, national brand does not stand by their product. The best they would offer, after months of wrangling, was a minor discount on buying the exact same thing. The design is defective! Why would we want to bring another one into our home. Hope this helps.

We purchased a King - Flex Supreme Breeze in November of 2017. The mattress is a hybrid with coils and memory foam. It is intended for back and side sleepers. My wife had two back surgeries so we decided to spend the extra money for a Tempur-Pedic. My wife is a back sleeper and I’m a side sleeper. So we thought this mattress was a great match for us. Unfortunately, the mattress delivered was much firmer than the Flex Supreme Breeze mattresses we tried at four different retails stores.
I could not sleep on my side without shoulder pain. We know it took time for the mattress to break in. We had 3 months to exchange. This was not long enough for us to make a decision. This mattress helped my wife with her back problems so even though I was not happy with it being too firm, I waited it out as she was doing good. After a year, the mattress is exactly the same firmness as when we received it. I cannot sleep on my side without shoulder pain, tossing and turning all night. We reached out to Tempur-Pedic and filed a warranty claim as our mattress is nothing like the Flex Supreme Breeze mattresses in stores, even after one year.
Unfortunately, Tempur-Pedic denied our claim. Stated that Tempur-Pedic has the right to deny claims based on Comfort Preference. This is not a comfort preference. The mattress is not, in any way, what we purchased or similar to the Flex Supreme Breeze in stores. I would love if our mattress were as comfortable as the ones in stores. I do not have another $4,600 for another mattress. We were hoping Tempur-Pedic would stand with us on customer satisfaction. My wife and I married 8/2017 and I have recently slowly been sleeping in the second bedroom on our old mattress. After a year of marriage, we should not be sleeping in different bedrooms.

We paid 2000$ CDN for queen size Tempur-Pedic mattress along with 500$ for an approved 6 leg support frame and box support structure. Our last plain foam mattress lasted almost 25 years and eventually wore out. We liked the foam so much we thought we'd invest in a very high quality foam based mattress. After about 5 years we felt definite depressions on each side of the bed where we sleep. There was a noticeable hill to climb if you moved to the centre of the bed. It felt like you were lying in a hammock with your main torso sinking in significantly lower than the calves or the shoulders. I am convinced that this has contributed to back pain for both of us.
Tempur-Pedic have the buzz off routine well rehearsed for their phone reps. Warranty package, pictures 3/4" minimum measurable depression, maximum politeness and so on and so on. The surface depression is not the issue. It is the degradation in the spring rates of the lower foam layers. We also bought one, hearing that it will change your life. Well it did for sure, and not for the better. We are in pain within minutes of laying in bed, all through the night, and worse when we wake up in the morning. Biggest piece of crap we ever spent money on. We had filed a warranty claim about 10 months after and when they came out they said there was nothing wrong with it. That it passed the indentation test. (Needs a noticeable 1-1/2" depression in it.) But yet when I lay on it, I sink down into a trench, and have to roll uphill to get out or turn over.
The pain we both experience is terrible, and we just could not continue to sleep on it. So we went and bought a Sealy spring and foam ($1800), and are sleeping great with no pain at all. My husband developed back and hip issues that he had never had before sleeping on this mattress and has been seeing a chiropractor ever since. We decided it was not for us on Aug 21. I called into customer service to start the refund process. Was asked to exchange instead of return, the rep told me that if we exchanged then the return policy would be voided. I told her I wanted to return it, not interested in any other type of mattress.
She told me it would be 7-14 days and the shipper would contact me about picking it back up. After 14 days and no phone call, I called back into TP and they gave me the shippers phone number and told ME to call and schedule. The shipper finally picked up on 9/20. I was told after it was picked up and back to shippers warehouse that the refund would be 7-14 days. After 20 days and no refund, I called back into TP. Rep told me they were a little behind to give it a few more days. On 10/12, still no refund I called TP again. The Rep told me that what I was told previously was incorrect and I would have to wait until the mattress was returned to TP warehouse not the shippers. The shipper will not ship back to TP until they have a full load and this could take 4-6 MONTHS!! Refunds aren't given till AFTER they are returned to TEMPUR-PEDIC.
I got quite angry and stated this isn't what their website says nor was it what I was told on the initial call on 8/21. The week comes up so I decide to ask online and was told my order was still on backorder and it was back in stock so it would be shipped out. She told me she would keep me up to date and "investigate" why I was told it would be delivered. She stopped responding basically. So I had called again to chat and the lady on the phone said it was again on backorder. Then proceeded to tell me that she would email me back to update me on the order...
Surprise surprise a couple days later I got no emails, so again I went to the online chat and got a lady named Berenice. I told her how frustrated I was and that no one was getting back to me. We were early adopters of Tempur-Pedic about 18 years ago, and loved every night spent on that mattress. When we moved, we decided to get a new one and the CSR said the 'new' equivalent to ours was the Contour Supreme. A very firm mattress at $3200 (King). Less than a year later, we are very disappointed and achy, because this mattress is not firm at all. Curiously, the 'Supreme' model is being discontinued after just a couple years.
I tried to get some assistance from the company, now Sealy marketing Tempur-Pedic. Since our mattress is not outwardly defective, they would not allow any credit toward a new mattress, yet I contend the defect is in the design with too many soft layers modifying the firmness. The Contour Supreme is NOT a firm mattress. Long and short, we are discarding our 11-month-old T-P mattress, and buying hybrid, probably Saatva, which does in fact sell a firm mattress. Expensive lesson!

The main difference is the new model cost twice as much at retail price. The warranty department said I have to pay the difference in costs. I was willing to accept a lower model or even a mattress topper as long as there is no out of pocket expense and they are requiring me to choose a more expensive model so they can get another sale. The warranty is bogus so keep that in mind when Tempur-Pedic says 10 or 20 year warranty. Their support has long wait times, is super condescending with that I don't care attitude. I've slept on many kinds of beds in my life and all have pros and cons but this one is the overall worst. It took about a month just for the smell to go away and to get used to sleeping on the bed. After that I slept ok for maybe 3 or 4 months even though the mattress was really hot. After that I started getting pain in my hip because the bed got so soft it wasn't supporting my back and hips anymore.
I messaged the warranty people to let them know. In a nutshell I had to send pictures of the soft spot which actually turned out to be a dip in the mattress. Apparently my dip wasn't big enough for them so they would not deal with me anymore and pretty much told me to come back when the dip was bigger (I've only had the mattress a year-ish). Since then I have spent an entire month sleeping on the floor (not great for a new marriage). I now alternate between bed and couch because my wife likes sleeping together.

Nothing. You just hold our money, don't deliver the product, and offer nothing to a loyal returning customer. It must be the new American way. Don't be surprised to see this review copied and pasted on social media. After all, what else is a consumer to do?

If you are thinking about purchasing a Tempur-Pedic, make sure you buy it directly from them. I recently purchased one from a local retailer and was under the impression from the Tempur-Pedic tv ads that I could return it within 90 days for a refund. Well, this is not true. If you purchase it from a retailer, you are subject to the retailer's return policy not what Tempur-Pedic is advertising. I only found this out by going to Tempur-Pedic's website on the 90-day trial page and scrolling to the bottom to find the information. When I contacted Tempur-Pedic about this, they just gave me the runaround. I have had my bed for about 30 days now and feel it's not the right bed for me and may now be stuck with it.

After the sagging was more than we could take, Tempur-Pedic said they would replace my discontinued Contour Deluxe (a medium soft, great, contouring mattress) with a super firm Contour supreme mattress. They claimed a firm mattress was comparable to a medium soft mattress? To try and get a similar replacement for my Deluxe, Tempur-Pedic said I needed to pay over $2000+ for an Elite or even more for the Rhapsody. That is not a warranty at all! Stay away from Tempur-Pedic.

I was put on ** to reduce the inflammation in my lungs. The topper has been in another room for 6 weeks and I have to keep the door closed and a window slightly open, which is costly in South Florida. If I enter the room I immediate experience severe breathing problems and a headache soon follows after leaving the room. Bed, Bath and Beyond will not take the product back because 1) it’s been used; 2) I did not retain the original box or receipt.
According to the my research, off gassing is a reported problem with this product, which consists entire of synthetic chemicals, some of which are known carcinogens. I contacted Tempur-Pedic directly was told there was nothing they could do about it. Then was read a “generic” disclaimer about the safety of their products. They are fully aware of the complaints regarding this product and its health risks especially to those with breathing ailments such as asthma and emphysema yet no warning is included on the packaging nor any restitution made for this. The topper retails for $349.99 plus tax, doctor visits and medication for the inflammation that only began when their “safe” product was brought into my home.

Persistently asked again in 2018, they say warranty if beyond 10 years, it will only be replaced up to 50% of a new bed purchase. They started claiming it's only 20 yr free replacement if bought on Tempurpedic.com and not Brookstone etc. Who knew about this catch. And how am I to believe even after spending extra 50% cost of new bed it will not guarantee back pain. 20 yr free replacement is a trap and is not entirely true.

Sent in all the pictures 3 times, because they said the pictures were not of the whole bed (the pictures were of the whole bed) and need mattress tags and base tags every time it was something different. Every time I would have to strip the bed. Easily visible is the sag that is in the mattress. Can not flip mattress but we have turned mattress to see if that would help but did not. Please note I weigh just 160 lbs. The mattress has never been abused, stood on, jumped on it has had usual sleep use. I submitted a warranty with photos which clearly show the mattress sagging. Under instructions I placed a quarter under a straight pole along the straight edge. There is a gap of more than 1inch above the mattress to the pole. Clearly the springs have weakened, because every time we get in the bed it sags and provides no support. We are both in AGONY every morning with neck, shoulder, back and hip pain. We have taken to sleeping on the sofa. Tempur-Pedic won't honor the warranty because we can't provide a photo of a quarter standing upright in a 1 inch rut! Any mattress in that condition would even be rejected by the Salvation Army. Do not be duped into buying this mattress under any circumstances. There is NO WARRANTY. It's all just a ruse. When it comes time to file a claim, it will be denied without anyone even looking or examining your mattress.

I had a Tempur Choice mattress, which had adjustable air chambers to change the firmness. The mattress was only 3 years old when one of the air chambers burst and wouldn't hold air. In fairness to Tempur Pedic, when I contacted them initially, they approved my warranty claim with no questions. However, I then learned that the Choice mattress had been discontinued and that they offer no similar mattress or any spare parts.
I am told I am will be given a credit for the original purchase price. I tried a new mattress in store, and upon contacting them to order replace, I'm told they won't offer 90 trial period on my replacement mattress, even though they offer the trial period to all new customers. I would understand if my mattress was replaced in kind but since I have to get an entirely new mattress, I find it unacceptable that the trial period is not an option on my replacement. They also won't give me a refund for my original purchase price.
After arguing with multiple agents and a supervisor, they still won't provide 90 day trial option so I elect to simply order new mattress and be done with this. I'm then told that although the price for my new mattress on their website is showing $4,000 (for 4th of July sale), I have to pay the original $4,500 price because "warranty replacements aren't eligible for sale prices". What a joke! I become increasingly angry and after more arguing, Tempur finally agrees to honor the website price but how pathetic that they try to gouge you for more money after their product failure caused the issue in the first place. This will be my last dealing with Tempur-Pedic and I'd recommend others purchase from a different company.

Tempur-Pedic in our case is not standing by its mattress or its warranty. After spending about $8,000 on a mattress and an automatic bed, I feel duped. The mattress should not have such deep crevices on either side and a lump in the middle after just a few years of use. The right side frame should not have cracked and broken. Yet it has. Tempur-Pedic replaced the cracked frame, after weeks of back-and-forth negotiations and complaints. But, after their own technician confirmed that the mattress needs replacing and assuring us it would be replaced, we were just told that Tempur-Pedic denied our claim. It is with absolute disgust that I am posting this -- but I have no recourse. 4 years ago, I invested in a Tempur-Pedic mattress. 2 years ago, I found MOLD growing on the bottom of the mattress and filed a claim with the company. I wanted a refund, but they said they would only provide a replacement bed. They told me it was an environmental issue (considering Corvallis' weather) and that I needed to encase the entire new mattress in a protective sheet - as opposed to the mattress protector that covers just the top to protect against this happening. I did that. But guess what I found yesterday - Black mold growing INSIDE the mattress and pushing its way out of the protective encasing. Now let me be clear: there is no mold on the outside of the mattress protector, no mold on the foundations, no mold on the top of the mattress - the mold is AGAIN on the bottom of the mattress.
I filed a claim - and it was denied as "mold is considered an environmental issue". Again, there is no mold on the foundation of this bed and NO MOLD on any other mattress in this house. ONLY on the bottom of the very expensive Tempur-Pedic. I wrote to them on their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/TempurPedic/) - and they blocked me. They sent my further complaints to a "higher department" who wrote back to report they decline my claim because they already replaced the bed once and mold doesn't fall under the warranty (the mattress has a 25 year warranty). That said, upon closer inspection - mold in Tempur-Pedic mattresses is a common problem with their mattresses. I have found complaint after complaint, videos, pictures, and blogs that talk about this issue - yet the company still does nothing about their poor product.

After 30 days I guess the Flex Supreme Breeze "broke in" a little and/or the weather in NY got a bit warmer and so our bedroom at night about 5 degrees warmer...the bed is not "as hard" as when we first got it, and while it IS cool (too cool in winter) when you first lie down on it, especially on your back (I watch TV like that for hours) after 45 min or so it does warm up a bit right under you...while where you are not lying is still cool but with summer coming even now it is nice. The company did treat us very well I must say and were fast in resolving the replacement of our "Cloud Supreme" with this current Flex... I chose it , I do think I'd have probably liked the Flex Elite (non breeze) better but that was my error..thing is no stores by me had the flex Elite to test so it was hard to choose but I am liking this bed now - it is "cushier" feel to it than it was 30 days ago. We had the King Cloud Supreme - in less than 3 yrs, craters developed on the sides where we slept, and in the middle was a firm hump. My husband with a bad back would with much effort roll out of his crater and uphill onto the firm hump in the middle of the bed, and thus hogged 3/4 of the bed. Tempur-Pedic DID replace it. It took a lot of persuading, but they did the right by us, thing is, and it is MY mistake I guess, we selected the King FLEX Supreme Breeze knowing that foams run a little hot. Big Mistake...
First off, this Flex is like a "regular" bed, except for the "BREEZE" feature...which is like sleeping on top of an ice skating rink! It is hard and COLD. If you live in the north and keep your bedroom 65 degrees or under at night, these beds I am told do not perform "normally"... The foam gets really firm and forget the BREEZE feature; I actually fear we could get pneumonia sleeping this thing. My husband suddenly already caught a cold after a week of sleeping in this new bed. Big Mistake on our part and they don't seem real anxious to take it back and replace with a NON Breeze bed either, even though the Flex Elite (top of the line) is actually cheaper as they charge 1,000 more for the BREEZE FREEZE feature!

That I called the people we purchased it from and they did a nonsense test that resulted in nothing but aggravation. I called Tempur-Pedic and jumped through the hoops of what they wanted me to do. Again the broomstick and quarter test did not pass their test and I was denied very quickly after sending pictures. I told the customer service person I wanted the VP of operations to call me ASAP.
Two days later I got a pleasant response! They are replacing my mattress! So there is hope! You just have to be persistent! Through all this I found that their customer service reps responded quickly. When I had to choose a mattress I was on the phone with customer service for an hour on a Sunday night to find the best fit for us. The guy was great! My wife and I have back problems, so we were very interested in the Tempur-Pedic warranty of 20 years. We bought a Tempur-Pedic Deluxe King bed along with the bases. The first 8 years were great! Woke up feeling like we were 20 again. Now the mattress is not holding its firmness. We both have the divot in the mattress where we consistently fall asleep. To move to another part of the bed is like crawling out of a small hole. So I called the company, and they sent a warranty claim form for me to fill out. I jumped through the hoops. Sent a copy of the receipt, the mattress tags for both the mattress and foundation, and did their put a broomstick across the mattress garbage, putting a quarter up against the broomstick, so they could see the depression in the mattress.
Now before this we had the people we bought the mattress from, come over and do a measurement. They came up with a 3/8 measure of depression. They told us that it had to be a 3/4 or better depression to do something about the mattress. When we did the quarter, broomstick thing, it was clearly over 3/4. So in the end after sending all documentation to Tempur-Pedic over the internet, within an hour and a half on a Sunday, 4/8/18, we got the denial. It's normal wear and tear! Ok so if you weigh less than 120 pounds, this is the mattress for you. If not have fun crawling out of a divot before the warranty is less than half over! How can they tell from a broomstick and a quarter that when we lay in the bed, we sink farther into the mattress than ever before? NEVER AGAIN TEMPUR-PEDIC. I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I WASTED $3100!

When asked to remove it again seriously it is glued on and removing it could void the warranty. Measuring across the top with a string was like a candid camera moment! Yea look at that useful idiot knowing it was not going to show the sag unless you get up and sit in the frigging hole.
STAY CLEAR OF TEMPUR-PEDIC!!! Their warranty is just a con to purchase a high priced item. Save your money and go with a better priced Mattress and just replace it every 8 years! I was not even looking for a free replacement I would have gladly paid a prorated amount. I had 10 wonderful with this mattress but I could have purchased 3 or 4 new ones and experienced the same love affair.

Do not buy this mattress. Cloud for after 4 years sagging and no customer service. Must be a noticeable sag with no weight for replacement. It’s a joke. It has no support with weight meaning a human body back ache neck ache. Do yourself a BIG FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY ANY BED FROM THIS MONEY GRABBING COMPANY.

I started to wake up with an intense morning backache after 11 years on the Tempur-Pedic mattress. I realized the culprit was the mattress when I slept on the hotel bed without any pain for a week during my vacation but then the pain returned once I slept on my bed. After reading other consumers reviews and Tempur-Pedic warranty terms, which is 25 years for mine, I filed a claim and described my morning backache situation to their warranty office. Like other customers who wrote reviews here, they had me submitted photos to show sagging by leaning a coin against a straight edge to measure the depth of sagging condition.
After a few email exchanges that they kept denying the mattress was sagging but “softened”, I was quite turned off to continue using Tempur-Pedic mattress or memory foam mattress entirely. As I really needed a new mattress to get over the morning backache, I purchased a latex mattress from Zen Heaven by Saatva after a pretty thorough online research. I am glad of making this judgment call for not dealing with Tempur-Pedic any longer as they clearly do not honor their own warranty or try keep their customers around. No more morning backache and no more Tempur-Pedic for me.

We purchased a Tempur-Pedic Contour Rhapsody Luxe in 2016. It felt great until just a few days AFTER the 90 day trial period, when it started sagging. I tried to return it, but unless you can send a picture proving that the mattress is sagging 3/4 of an inch, you will not be able to talk to a real person. All their phone lines are Automated until they get a picture. It is almost impossible to prove that the mattress is sagging, because the memory foam springs back once you get out of bed. So, no picture, no real person to talk to and no return.
The sagging got worse and worse until it became like a crater that was almost impossible to crawl out of. I pulled muscles and hurt my back worse from trying to get out bed! After much research, our solution has been to flip the mattress over. We found out that the bottom layer is made of 5 inches of Polyfoam. It now feels too firm, but it is so much better than lying in a crater each night and pulling muscles trying to get out of bed! For now, we put two egg crate mattress pads on top. We're also thinking about adding a layer of Talalay Latex for the top layer. We will never purchase another Tempur-Pedic mattress again! We think the foam was defective, but the automated phone lines will not allow you to talk to a Real Person without that blasted picture. So, I guess we're stuck with it. The whole experience has been very disappointing and we would not recommend this mattress to anyone!

I recently finished paying off my 3K Tempur-Pedic mattress that I purchased three years ago. Its cushy surface and supposedly great reputation sucked me into buying it. From the first, I woke up overheated throughout the night. Soon, I started developing back pain. Never thought it could be related to my “perfect” mattress. About a year ago, dips started to form where my husband and I sleep. We are not big people. I was told, “This should never happen!” by Mattress Discounters, yet the warranty wouldn’t cover the problem.
Three months ago, I started PT for back pain, yet can’t seem to fully recover. I’ll go to bed feeling fine and wake up several hours later with lower back pain. By morning, I can barely crawl out of bed. It finally hit me: It’s the mattress. There are no warranty solutions, but I’d rather scrap this expensive piece of junk and buy a better mattress than deal with chronic pain. If you do wind up buying a Tempur-Pedic and develop mystery aches and pains - trust your instincts. Return the mattress while you can!

The mattress that arrived at my house was very hard and uncomfortable and didn't feel anything like the one I tried in the store. I spent an hour and a half lying on the one in the store each day on two different days before deciding to buy it. After spending $3,000.00 I'm waking up 4 hours after falling asleep with deep soreness and pain in my legs and stiffness in my back!!! My husband who can sleep on anything, anywhere isn't comfortable on it either!

After 5 years of using it, it starts to sag in the middle where I sleep. I am slim and should not sag on a 120# 5'2". I filed a claim and mind you, they will give you a hard time. So don't buy a very expensive mattress like this that would make you go through an eye of the needle to get a replacement.

I bought a Tempur-Pedic over 5 years ago, has been uncomfortable since day 1, spent over $2500.00, can't afford another bed. I have 2 feather beds on top and still the worst day better... now definitely looking into a new mattress! I have arthritis, and it makes my aches and pains worse. Hot flashes, sink right into the bed. Definitely NOT recommended unless you never want to be able to sleep. My husband hates it too!!!

Call CARDI'S in RHODE ISLAND where we purchased this product and they washed their hands of any wrongdoing and customer service was nil there. It takes an act of God with this company to get anything done/replaced. This is exactly what they want to do; stall so the unsatisfied consumer finally just gives up. Ill never shop again at Cardi's nor buy anything from this poorly run company.

Well - I had always heard how amazing Tempur-Pedic was and so I talked my husband into buying one. We bought a high end, rhapsody breeze in a king size... spent $5000 on it. At first it was super hard... we did buy the firm one but it took a really long time to break in and be comfortable. It also smelled like hell for the first two weeks. Once it broke in, it was pretty good - until it started to sag. My husband's size (for reference he's 6'2" and 180 or so - not a heavy guy at all) has a giant dip in it, to the point that I can't even switch sides with him because I feel like I'm going to roll off. So I naively thought - no big deal, we have a warranty! It will be fine! It's annoying to have to deal with breaking in a new smelly mattress but at least we didn't spent $5000 on a piece of junk.
Alas, contacting customer service was horrendous experience... I was told to find some number that is virtually impossible to find on the mattress (b/c it weighs a million pounds) and then fill out some long idiotic form AND of course most importantly, get a picture of the problem. A PICTURE of a SAG in the mattress... which is of course IMPOSSIBLE to do. Needless to say, I was never able to get a picture that showed anything... and we continue to sleep on this cruddy overpriced mattress - it's an expensive lesson - learn from ours and pass.

Terrible customer service. I bought a 4K bed from them 6 months ago. The remote broke and is covered under warranty. I reported it 6 weeks ago and still no remote. I have called them 16 documented times without any solution! I've left 3 messages with the office of the President and still nothing. I highly recommend a different bed purchase with better customer service! Steer clear.

We bought our Tempur-Pedic RHAPSODY BREEZE MATTRESS, June 2015. This is the most uncomfortable $6,500.00 mistake I have ever in my life made. My Hardwood floors & couch are more comfortable than mattress. I hate & dread when it is BEDTIME cause I have to try & sleep on the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever in my life tried to sleep on.
When I go on vacation It's pretty bad that we sleep better In Hotel/Condo Bed, can get right out of bed feeling good, then when we go home from vacation, we have to sleep on our want to be MATTRESS, it's very depressing. We have to sit on edge of bed in the mornings for a min. or so and try to get our bodies moving, we are very active, but find it very hard to get moving after a horrible nights (so called rest). I wouldn't waste your money on these expensive mattress, they're not what it's cracked up to be. My 20 plus year old mattress was 100% comfortable than well... VERY UNHAPPY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER.
