    I've owned 3 Select Comfort mattresses. The first 2 (a king for my residence, then a queen for the RV) were fine. I donated the king after 3 years to a friend when we got the queen for the RV, which we used for 6 years. I had no trouble assembling them or setting them up. They were all the low-end C2. I only needed a new one because I had to store the RV for 2 years and mice got at it!! This 3rd one was and is a real pill. When I first called (a couple times) to get one, the person on the phone insisted that a tech needed to do the install (with an install fee), to connect it to wifi. I couldn't do it myself, and I HAD to connect to wifi!!

    When I finally went to the actual store, they said that wasn't true and sold me one on the spot, and it was delivered a few days later. Improvements??? They changed the remotes to this space aged, reverse pyramid thing that won't lay flat, and it lights up every time you breathe on it. Also, it's blue-tooth, so you need access to the pump to enable it, which is going to be a real PITA if the battery dies, because in the RV my pump is under the bed platform behind a screwed panel (no other [place for it). Also, they moved the zipper to the underside of the mattress (my first 2 were on the top). So when you need to re-arrange the hose or just smooth the wrinkles out of the mattress, it's a nightmare of flipping the damn thing upside down, hoping you got it right, and flipping it back over. I wonder some times at why companies think they need to "improve" things that work fine.

    I purchased both a Sleep Number mattress and an adjustable base, convinced this system would be a life-changing investment. The sales rep did disclose that the base was non-returnable, but I trusted the reputation of the company and believed I would love the mattress enough that it would not matter. After giving the bed a fair chance, including trying the free comfort topper they sent to improve the feel, it became clear the mattress just was not right for us. The topper itself was so uncomfortable. It is made of about 6x6 inch squares stuffed with something like memory foam. It feels hard, lumpy, and takes away from the softness of the air chambers. Instead of improving comfort, it made the bed even less appealing.

    The biggest problem is that once you return the mattress, you are stuck with an adjustable base that costs thousands of dollars and serves no purpose with another mattress brand. When I contacted customer service, I first reached an overseas rep and then a supervisor. I explained that I had purchased the full system in good faith, that I was not asking for anything unreasonable, and that I hoped they could show some flexibility by waiving the return fee, offering partial credit, or finding another solution. They refused across the board. Now I am out thousands of dollars for a base I cannot use. It feels like Sleep Number’s return policy is designed to trap consumers. They heavily promote the 100-night mattress trial, but the base is the hidden cost you are stuck with if the mattress does not work out.

    ⚠️ My advice to anyone considering Sleep Number:

    Buy the mattress alone first.
    Do not purchase the base until you are 100 percent sure the mattress works for you.

    Be prepared for customer service that rigidly quotes policy instead of working with you.

    I wish I had known this before my purchase, and I hope sharing my story prevents others from making the same expensive mistake.

    The beds are extremely overpriced and are basically a sophisticated air mattress. The sleep info is entertaining, the only reason I don’t give it a one. I do not recommend them. I bought one single and tried for 7 months. Also be aware that reselling is difficult as Sleep Number has your account locked. You need their permission to resell.

    Got the Sleep Number iLE 360 in 2023 with the Queen Flexfit 2 for my wife and myself. Even though discounted, total price was over $5000 and we’re still paying for it. On a positive note, we were able to adjust the platform low enough for my wife who has dizziness problems to get out of bed. The light goes on when we get up to go to bathroom. However, my wife still sweats even though the bed was told to sleep cool. My wife likes the bed.

    I have had problems from day one from my leg hurting to my back hurting. A doctor recommended me not to use it. I have gotten used to it but, have spent many nights on a an old futon trying to have a better sleep experience. For my wife, the bed has worked out but for me it has been a disaster. It weighs over 500 pounds and I would need to disassemble the entire bed or pay Sleep Number technicians to move the bed only six inches to the left. I’m going to look for another bed that my wife will like equally after we pay off this bed. Would not recommend it to anyone unless they slept on it for at least 2 weeks to a month and they really liked it.

    Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I bought a house that came with two mattresses, and I’ve been trying for months to access the app to actually use the bed—with no success. The previous owner even tried to help me, but customer service only made things worse by mistakenly transferring the mattresses she purchased into my name. It’s unbelievable that such an expensive product comes with such poor support. Even finding a simple contact email is a challenge. The operators I spoke with seemed uninterested and unwilling to resolve the issue. This experience has been so frustrating that I will NEVER consider buying from this brand again.

    We spent over $7,000 on a bed, and can't get reliable customer service for an issue with our mattress. We got the standard runaround with almost 2 hours on the phone conversing with a nonsense customer service representative. She kept saying numerous times may I place you on a short hold.     We have purchased 2 beds from Sleep Number, we were happy with our first purchase so we upgraded and got a super expensive one for $13k. Bed delivered in January of 2023. By the end of 2023 we started using the heating element -only used it a couple times, we live in FL so only used it when it was extremely cold and only to warm up the bed before going to lay down. By the next year when we tried to use it again at the end of the year the heating element on my side of the bed wasn't working. I called and was told that the warranty decreases yearly and they would only cover I believe 80% of the repair which left us paying over $400.

    I thought since we only had the bed since January of 2023 and here I am calling at the end of 2024 for a $13k bed and a part of the bed we rarely used that a supervisor would agree this was in fact a defect on their end and replace without charge but NO. They rather have an unsatisfied customer than to fix a minor problem that could possibly had kept me as a return customer for a THIRD bed. Not again!

    When I called and was told no by the customer service I asked for a supervisor and was told they would call me back, a month later still no call. I called again, spoke to a supervisor and was told no, it is outside the warranty and therefore nothing they can do. Well they lost a customer and I will make it my mission to make sure everyone I speak to knows how they treat their costumers. I will never purchase another bed from SLEEP NUMBER BED! $13k for a bed and a part that is barely used goes bad within a year of purchase and you cannot fix it for a loyal costumer!?!? DO NOT PURCHASE A BED FROM THIS STORE!!!!

    Terrible customer service. My pump went out and they try to tell you they cover 50% of the costs after 5 years, which is still $300. If I am spending $6000 on a bed, I would expect any parts covered for at least 10 years, especially when it was not something I did to break it. Will never buy a bed from them again.

    Updated on 08/30/2025: After four attempts at contacting and speaking with your customer service department and each time being addressed by rude, condescending, and just generally unhelpful telephone operators, we have decided not to purchase from Sleep Number. I was trying to get a promotional issue resolved. No one in customer service would help me. Tried contacting four different times and spoke to four different people. It is one thing to have one bad apple in a bunch, but your company does not have even one good customer service personnel. This is a company culture issue. I called the store and told the manager that his transaction with me was off. Customer service killed his deal. Not making a purchase of $10,000 with a company with such poor customer service and such poorly trained people.

    Original review: I was doing research to purchase a new bed system. Sleep Number sent me a link, "$100. off if I filled-out a form. So I completed the form and a code came through to my text with a discount that expired the day before. That is not good. I tried using, "the chat", no help from the chat people. So I called the customer service line---888.484.9263.

    Explained that I was on my way to the story to purchase a $10,000 sleep system and the link Sleep number sent me today expired the day before. Nope. No help here either; first person I spoke to said she was in the warehouse and was just the messenger, she could not help me and hung up. So I called back and this time got Customer Service... However same results, no help, no options, by the way I am not a customer yet so she did not have to help me! She told me to, "have a nice day", and hung up. I did a lot more research... Seems Sleep Number has real customer service issues. I feel grateful we discovered all of this before making such a large purchase.

    I've purchased a few beds from Sleep Number and the last bed we purchased was SLEEP NUMBER'S high end headed and cooled bed. I was talked into this bed and have had nothing but BACK PROBLEMS. I've called the store numerous times and don't seem to care. Once they sold the bed why should they care... what an attitude. I purchased the bed last year and I was told this was out of their window for review. SLEEP NUMBER now said we should set up a service call but want to charge us for the service call. WTF!!!! this is crazy.... spend a fortune on the bed and this is how you get treated? DON'T EVER BUY A SLEEP NUMBER... THEY DON'T STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT. Chris A

    I purchased 2 pillows from Sleep Number based on reviews from Wirecutter. After being delivered 3 days late (they ship via FexEx, so I saw that coming), the box was damaged and open. I called customer service (the only way to initiate a return - they don't have an automated online system, so keep that in mind before you order) and was told that there would be a $7 fee for the return label. Unless your internet sleuthing skills are far better than mine or the policy is buried deep in the fine print of their website, I couldn't find any mention of this fee for returns. I will not be purchasing anything from them again.

    Bought bed bundle. Were very excited to get it. After a few cancelations we got hers the problems we had 1st no remotes goes thru phone app. We don't like to take our phones to bed with us so you have to log in every time you want to adjust. 2nd I have had 2 back surgeries. Bed was never comfortable for me no matter what I tried. 3rd they blow up your email with spam. Don't sign up for sleep monitoring. It gets even worse. 4th after 30 day trial we decided to return it. READ YOUR PAPERWORK. Even though we bought a bundle 3300 dollar base is a final sale. Not returnable. They won't tell you that but it's in the paperwork you sign. 5th when dealing with 800 number they don't care at all. You signed. It's your problem at the end of the day. It's an air mattress that cost 7000. All said and done and 250 to have them pick up returned mattress. Very shady business. I would discourage anyone from buying anything from them.

    The bed is nice, but they only warranty for a year! Mine broke at 18 months, and it will cost 200 for a tech, and 50 for the part! This is for a bed that cost thousands! You can probably find comparable comfort at a 20th of the price with a better warranty.

    I am an owner of a queen i8 Sleep Number bed that I was very happy with the quality of sleep it provided. I went to the Sleep Number store in Myrtle beach, SC and was looking to purchase the same bed but in a king-size mattress. I was told that the iLE is essentially the same mattress and it was replacing the i8. So I purchased it and have not had the same quality sleep. I reached out to the salesperson and they said there is nothing they can do for me. I feel duped by sales person when I found out that the i8 was not being replaced by the iLE.

    I purchased a Sleep Number bed with a foot warmer a year and a half ago. The foot warmer went out and they are only covering a portion of the warranty, leaving me with a balance to replace this option. Recommendation is to not buy the bed with the foot warmer or a sleep number at all. I was also extremely disappointed in the level of customer service utilizing the chat option. It took extremely long and I had to copy and paste my previous chats as I lost connection.

    Please don’t waste your money! Customer service is less than horrible. Not willing to help with problems and then want to charge you. I am getting rid of mine and will never buy again. It malfunctions and then I can’t sleep, so no rest at all.

    We purchased a hybrid smart mattress and platform from this company. My wife and I gave it several weeks and then called to return it under their trial window. They forced us to first try it with a mattress topper. They sent it out and we still were having severe shoulder and backpain even after going in the store to get our number done. The air mattress chambers are connected, meaning if your partner gets up, your side sinks. If your partner gets in, your side gets much firmer. You feel everything when a partner moves. It feels like camping on an air mattress that costs 4000$.

    When we finally argued with them enough to warrant a return they charged us 500$ to return it and forced us to keep their 2000$ adjustable frame! Their customer service is terrible, their sales tactics are deceptive at best, and their products (even the high end one that we purchased with extra lumbar support) are terrible. I'm not sure if the reviews on here are paid that give positive ones or not but I can tell you they are inaccurate. Buyer Beware! This is a very expensive mistake to make! They charge you to return the bed during their trial period, and force you to pay for the bedframe (2000$) which has very limited functionality for the price. Nectar was a better value and was honestly more comfortable. We currently switched to Helix Sunset and are very satisfied.

    We bought a mattress from Sleep Number after being told multiple times by the store rep that the only risk if we returned the mattress was a $250 fee. That turned out to be a lie. They also don’t refund the $250 delivery fee, meaning we lost over $500. We spoke to the same rep again after discovering this, and before we even told him the issue, we said, “You told us the only risk was $250,” and he replied, “Correct” — again lying. When confronted, he told us to blame him when we called customer service. That did absolutely nothing.

    We called support several times:
    On 7/31, we were told they wouldn't refund the fee and that a manager would call us within 48 hours. No one ever did.

    On 8/5, we were told again that they wouldn't refund the fee. We were also told that a manager callback isn’t a thing, directly contradicting the previous support agent.

    Sleep Number has now lied to us three times, and their customer service has been unhelpful and unapologetic. They refuse to take any responsibility for what their employee communicated. This was an expensive and frustrating experience. Do not trust them and do not buy from them.

    Purchased this Sleep Number King mattress with all bells and whistles for over 7K. I have troubleshooting with Flex Fit base often. It's very annoying. You have to call the technician to fix it every time.

    The Queen size i10 mattress is deflating and losing air. Spoke to tech support and paid $190 for about 5 minutes from technician home visit because instructions were too much for me to do. After troubleshooting, I was told I had to wait for approximately 2 weeks or so for technician to come back to install the replacement parts. This is unacceptable after already dealing with a defective mattress. The reason for the bed is to have a better night's sleep. This is too long to wait for service!!! Unacceptable!!!

    Bought our Sleep Number bed in 2015.. The pump broke and we ordered a new one. Was $402.55. The new pump does not work, we called them numerous times, they will reset it then we have to wait a week for it to reset.. This just keeps happening.. We want a refund, but were told they don’t give refunds..Such a big disappointment. Here is a new pump that never worked. I would give sleep # 0 stars.. Would never recommend it to anyone..They are a rip off company.

When I walked him through the steps to get to the support page with the erroneous information, he acknowledged the wrong details and offered to make a full refund. Unfortunately it took four phones and lots of frustration to get to someone who would take ownership of the problem.

    I purchased a Sleep Number True Temp Plush Mattress Layer. Since this is bedding I did a Google search to see if I should wash it first. The link https://support.sleepnumber.com/hc/en-us/articles/234964828-Cleaning-your-mattress-pad-or-layer clearly states it is okay to wash. Unfortunately the mattress pad was damaged in the dryer. NOTE: There is conflicting info on the Sleep Number site. One reference is to spot clean only. Of course, I happened to get linked to the other page.

    When I called customer support, they kept referring to the page that says to spot clean. They would not acknowledge that another page on their site says it’s okay to wash. Based on that conversation they would not issue a refund. Also, there were no care instructions in the box when I opened the package. Absolutely terrible customer support. Not willing to stand behind their product. After buying three mattresses from them I am done with this company and their products.

    I made a purchase in the staten Island branch store for P6 mattress and headboard at the end of May 2025 and I asked for the zero percent for 24 months. The manager Nick stated, "Okay that's what will put down for you." When I called synchrony bank they told me I had 5.9 percent for 48 months. I clearly stated with Diana nearby that the 24 months is perfect for me. I may pay it off in 1 year and nick said yes it's like 200 a month.

    When I called synchrony bank they stated I had 5.9 percent. I been going back and forth for a month with synchrony bank and still they have it at 5.9 for 48 months which I would never ask for.. I do feel now that the store said whatever just for me to make the purchase. Moving forward I will not be ever buying anything from the store in staten Island. I had to call Sleep Number and let them know what happened and others I spent all day with this matter. They reverent sleep number and that's not a good representation.. This is my second purchase of a sleep number bed. While I like the bed the customer service in staten Island wasn't good.

    After 15 years of sleeping on a Tempur-Pedic bed, we purchased a Sleep Number Bed and were assured by the sales representative that if we did not like the bed we could return it under Sleep Number's "100-Night In-Home Trial Period" which was offered ON ALL BEDS. (Do a Google search on this. Those are the exact words). The Sleep Number website, and our sales rep, assured us we were purchasing the "best sleep of our lives" and that the Sleep Number i8 bed would be "worth every penny." Nope...It's not...Not even close. The i8 bed feels like you're sleeping on an air mattress, and the delayed response of the Sleep Number App on your phone (which you must use as a remote control unless you shell out another $50 for an actual remote control), is beyond annoying.

    So on day 35, we called the Sleep Number store, where we made our purchase, and were told to call corporate. Corporate told us that for $250 they would come and get the mattress ONLY, but not the adjustable base?? Somehow after you purchase a bed from Sleep Number, the mattress and the base are no longer referred to as a bed, but as separate items. Our sales rep ONLY referred to our purchase (of a mattress and a base) as a bed. Even a Sleep Number Google search states the Sleep Number "100 Night In-Home Trial" is for ALL BEDS!

    It does not say the "100-Night In-Home Trial" is for all mattresses. We are now stuck with a $3299.00 base. This is so deceitful and so unethical. I do not want this base. It does not respond well to the app and takes forever to raise and lower. We were never informed by our sales rep that a base and mattress did not constitute a bed, but were in fact, separate items. He also never told us that bases were not part of "100-Night In-Home Trial" and NOT returnable. He did tell us several times that if we were not happy with our bed, we could return it. We were duped! You have been warned.

    Have a long-awaited delivery and install appointment cancelled two days before with no explanation. Total 4 months with only a mattress, no frame. At this price point unacceptable and locked-in to their install due to integration which is something I would avoid if doing it all over again.

    Bought a Sleep Number bed. Huge investment of close to $10,000. Was really excited but after 90 or so days felt like it was not worth it so wanted to return the package. Well the base is not returnable. It’s excluded from the 100 night trial period. We were an online only purchase and we even read the fine print. The Flexfit2 base was listed as excluded in bold but we got the Flexfit3. Well further down all Flexfit is excluded. This is the bulk of the cost and you can’t do anything with it now. So you are just stuck. I also find it interesting that they sell these as combo items with risk free trial but get you in the fine print. Oh and the only thing they discount is the mattress. This to me seems predatory and clear price manipulation which is a pending class action in California. I plan on having a lawyer review my case and will encourage everyone I know to never do business with these guys ever.

    We purchased our ale number in February of 2023. Three days ago, I noticed the motor was running much longer than usual. I unplugged the bed, waited a few minutes and plugged it back in. After sitting on it for a couple of minutes, the center deflated. I called customer service and the sent me troubleshooting instructions. After checking the lines and capping the bed with no inflation results, I contacted customer service again and they instructed me to go to my store and get new caps. After doing this and replacing the old caps with the new caps, no inflation results. I again called customer service and they told me it was the bladder which was more than likely causing the issue. I was told the bed had an extended warranty - well that’s an outright lie. The first year it is covered at 100 percent but then drops depending upon its age.

    The customer service associate indicated she would order a new bladder, have it expedited and my cost would be $196.42 which I was totally unhappy with after paying $10k for a bed!! She also indicated this was a non refundable purchase!!!! What in the world?? What if it’s not the issue?!! I also asked when the technician would contact me to schedule a maintenance appointment and troubleshoot the issue. She indicated that would be an additional cost and she would send me instructions on how to install it on my own and if I could not, then to call back and a technician would come to the house - service charge of $194! So, bottom line steer clear of Sleep Number!!

    Terrible customer service: The technicians installed our unit in a rush and left before they system tested the bed. They also didn’t help us with the app. Come to find out, the unit was not installed correctly. The customer service 800 # suggested that the earliest they could get a tech back out was 2 weeks. Sad, especially considering what we paid for the bed.

    I literally have not even had this bed 15 hours and I am so angry. I am disabled and have of 24/7 pain bed and waiting to get the bed. Because there was so much great talk about it. It was extremely expensive. Over $11000. And it even says on my paperwork Cow King. I don't know where to begin. I paid extra for them to set up the bed. But that's nothing. It's not a California King Bed. They don't even make a California king bed in the Smart Bed Series yet. That's how it was sold to my sister. As being one I am 61, so that's rather important thing. Secondly, in a huge disappointment. I sleep very hot so when I saw that I had a cooling system. I was so excited thinking. Finally, I'd get Good night's sleep.

    There's no d*** cooling system. It basically sounds like a hair dryer on full blast underneath the bed. All it does is circulate the air. Or is the person set on the phone? Move the hot air from the top of the bathroom to below. That's hardly relaxing to have a blow dryer sound and going off for 4 hours at a time. Or however long you want the cooling? It doesn't cool. I felt no cool difference whatsoever. I am 66 years old and I've bought my share of beds. This is the most money I've ever spent on a bed and the worst bet I've ever been on. It feels lumpy. It's a pain in the butt to have it on the phone and the remote. Doesn't work with the d***. I am so angry because it was a nightmare to have this bed. Put in, you can't even move it 2 inches. It takes 2 men as it is so heavy with the extra light under the bed. Really? Who needs it? I really feel ticketed advantage of and I plan making it clear to my almost half a million social media followers.

    What a rip-off. I plan on calling Monday and if this whole thing isn't taken back and I'm not giving back my money. There's gonna be legal action taken. To top things off as if that wasn't bad enough when I saw my sister had purchased the bathroom cover for $239. I said cancel the mattress cover. I don't need it. I have a brand new mattress cover and it's lovely. She called me back and said they said you have to have that mattress cover. Because that's what helps with the cooling process. It's a total lie. $239 for a mattress cover. But I, but 100 times better off a QVC. I am so angry again. I am calling Monday morning first thing. And if they don't make things right and take this bed back right away, they are gonna get legal action. And they're gonna get a lot of attention from a friend of mine at local news channel. Ripping off anybody is not okay. But especially disabled elderly person, I am so upset.

    I am extremely disappointed in Sleep Number and feel deceived by their misleading marketing. They boldly advertise a 100-night risk-free trial in large print, giving customers the impression that you can return the bed if you’re not satisfied. What they don’t clearly disclose—except in the fine print—is that the FlexFit adjustable base is NOT returnable. This critical detail was never mentioned during the sales process. Not only are you stuck with the base (which is a significant portion of the cost), but if you ever need the bed moved, you have to pay Sleep Number to send someone out to move it for you. That’s not something the average customer would expect or be told upfront, and it adds to the frustration.

    The sales staff are either poorly trained or purposely instructed not to mention these important exclusions. They focus solely on the 100-night trial and leave out everything that might cause a customer to think twice. That’s not just bad business—it’s deceptive and borderline predatory. Customers deserve honesty and full transparency when making a high-dollar purchase. Unfortunately, Sleep Number fails on both fronts. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Was hoping to get a small credit towards the new C2 purchase for the premature failure, under the 15-year, very prorated warranty. The manager had apparently had not slept very well, saying simply "We don't do that." Then silence.

    My SN 360 bed was delivered on September 12, 2020. When we purchased the bed, the in-store representative informed us the bed had a 10-year warranty. If there were any problems, it would be covered under this warranty. THAT WAS NOT THE TRUTH! In speaking with a representative over the phone, they informed us, after the first year, it is only a limited warranty that supposedly covers only half of the required part. When an issue arises with your bed, you (the customer) would need to call a Sleep Number representative and go through a number of problem-solving protocols to find out what the problem is with the bed. If you don’t go through ALL of these steps, the customer will have to pay for a qualified technician to come out. Even after the problem is identified, the customer has to install the new product on the bed once it arrives, or pay $200 for a qualified technician to come out and install the part.

    On 15, 2021, we had an issue with the base. It was fully covered under the warranty. For the past 6 mos. the bed has had an air leakage. We have to inflate one side of the bed multiple times per day. The representative states it could possibly be a faulty air chamber or pump. I want a qualified technician to come out to find out which part is needed. Why should I have to pay for a technician to find out what the issue is and pay for a technician to come back out to install the part. I shouldn’t be expected to know how to service a Sleep Number bed. DO NOT PURCHASE A SLEEP NUMBER BED! You pay too much for the bed to be expected to service it as well.

    We were happy Sleep Number customers until we needed customer service and discovered they won't do anything to help. Our very expensive bed is less than 6 months old and we can't use it. We have spent weeks trying to get customer service to come out for repairs. There is no support for customers at all - lies, time wasters, thieves!!! I may sit outside their store with a sign about lack of customer service and see if that gets any action. (I will scan my receipt to show I'm a verified buyer but I'm currently on hold and running through endless loops on the customer service hotline.)

    We purchased a climate 360 for almost 15k and the bed was great for about 3 months. After that we had issue after issue. Each time the process took 2-3 weeks to get anything completed. After 3.5 months we have had everything replaced and we are still having issues. It's very frustrating and I would not recommend the bed to anyone because of the poor quality. When the bed works it's 10/10 but unfortunately ours rarely worked and for a bed that you spent so much money on you would expect more.

    I bought a 360 bed in 2019. I called last week because the bed made a loud clicking sound as the back went up. I spoke to their customer service line (Lupe) and they could not find the registration number. They gave me another number for a third party service company. They couldn't find the number either. They asked me to get under the bed and get a number from the railing, which I did. I also got the green card that had the same number. I provide that number to the service company agent. No luck. She gave me the number for a third party individual who works on the beds. No answer over four days after leaving a message. I just went on-line and the wait is 89 minutes. Mary was absolutely no help.

    Same issues as everyone else. Horrible customer support, no one knows the product. Have owned the I8 for 4 years and have gone through 2 air chambers (one in warranty, and one out of warranty) heating pad issues that are still not fixed, and foam insert replacement. After the last tech left the right side of the mattress no longer inflates and customer service wants to charge me to replace it again. Probably the worst investment I have ever made. 11K total for bed frame, sheets and pillows. The techs are 3rd party and even they hate working with SN, they vented to us for about 20 min while they were on hold with SN support. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS.

    Purchased a New Flextop King i8 360 Smart Bed in April 2023. Several months later, within the first year, my foot warmer quit working. Sleep Comfort came out and replaced the foot warmer at the foot of the bed. Fast forward to February 17, 2025, my foot warmer has broken again. Today I called my local store to get the Customer Service number. I was given 855-447-3274. I called them and they said you need to call the Base Manufacturer number: 800-472-3185. They said, no, you need to call the foot warmer department: 888-411-2188. They were too busy to answer but said my place in line would be saved and we'll get back to you.

    They did, 5 hours later, the guy said this wasn't the foot warmer department and gave me this number: 855-447-3274. This is the 1st number I was given. I told him I have gone full circle with Sleep Comfort and no one knows how to help me. He said he would check with his supervisor and put me on hold. About 5 minutes into the hold while listening to their elevator music the line disconnected. Well, I guess I will try again tomorrow. Caveat Emptor.

    Sleep Number beds are a total waste of money. The company knows they have a poor quality product and does not stand behind what they sell. We spent $6,000 on a i8 and the foot warmer stopped working. Called the lack of customer service line and spent nearly 40 minutes on hold waiting to talk to a "specialist." Specialist in what? How to not take care of your customers? The only way for it to be fixed is for me to pay $189 and do the repair myself. The Salesperson told us if we bought a mattress cover for an extra $99 each, the mattress warranty would be extended to 10 years. This company is a scam and doesn't deliver on the promises they make.

    Went to a showroom in Burlington, WA. Nice guys working there. Both my husband and I liked the c-2 bed. 1 week later it arrived. I believe we received a defective bed. There was a huge hump in the bed on both sides resulting in severe lower back pain. Lowering the air pressure did not help, only making a bowl in the bed. Also, if my husband rolled on to my side the air would move and resulted in it being lopsided on my side. I decided to sleep on the floor because even that was more comfortable. Neither one of us has gotten a good night's sleep since.

    I called to return the bed hoping they would waive the $250 return fee seeing it was truly defective. This company is extremely unethical. I am being charged a $250 pick up fee for a defective bed that feels nothing like the showroom model. And of course, the $250 set up fee as well will not be refunded. So, now I am out over $500+ for a bed that did not operate correctly.

    The first customer service representative I talked to was rude and talked over me as I tried to explain to her how disappointed I was in the product. Of course, I asked to talk to someone with more authority but that resulted in nothing. You sign the contract and that is that. No responsibility taken for a faulty product whatsoever! They would replace but not even wave the pickup fee for the defective bed even if the deemed it was defective by them, I was still to pay the extra $250+tax! if I sold a defective product I would never charge the customer to take it back. If I could give 0 Stars I would. It's all about the money and nothing of customer satisfaction.

    Deceptive Refund Policy and Poor Product Quality. I purchased the Sleep Number i8 split head mattress with the FlexFit adjustable base, and it has been a nightmare from start to finish. I expected a premium product and exceptional service, but instead, I feel completely scammed by Sleep Number’s deceptive practices and subpar product quality.

    First, the product itself is extremely underwhelming. The i8 mattress feels like nothing more than an overpriced air mattress. I tried multiple adjustments and gave it a fair trial, but no setting provided the comfort or support I was promised. I expected a game-changing sleep experience, but instead, I’ve been left with sleepless nights and disappointment.

    Second, and even more infuriating, is their hidden refund policy for the adjustable base. After trying to return the product, I was shocked to learn that the base is non-refundable—a detail that is not prominently disclosed at the time of purchase. The refund policy is printed in tiny, barely legible text on the back of a price sheet, which is both deceptive and unethical.

    I’ve documented the store setup, and it is clear that their refund policy is not displayed prominently or transparently, as required under California law (Civil Code Section 1723). This lack of transparency makes me feel like I’ve been intentionally misled. When I contacted the store to resolve my concerns, I was strung along for days. The staff told me the manager wasn’t available, and when I finally spoke with her, she said she would escalate my case to her supervisor. After days of silence and repeated follow-ups, I was told the supervisor was off and that no action could be taken.

    Frustrated, I called Sleep Number’s customer service. I spent 40 minutes on the phone only to be treated condescendingly and dismissed. The representative refused to escalate my case or offer any resolution, repeatedly emphasizing that the base is “non-refundable.” Their tone and attitude were completely unprofessional, adding insult to injury.

    This experience has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. Sleep Number’s product quality does not match its high price tag, and their shady business practices are outright deceptive. Hiding refund policies in fine print and refusing to work with dissatisfied customers is no way to do business. I am requesting a full refund for the mattress and adjustable base. If my concerns are not addressed, I will escalate this further with consumer protection agencies. I am sharing my experience to warn others—don’t fall for Sleep Number’s marketing hype. Their products are overpriced, and their customer service is abysmal. Buyers beware!

    We had ordered a Sleep Number bed as well as a base that was delivered on November 16. We found immediately that we could not sleep on the mattress, as it felt like an air mattress. We called up Sleep Number a week after it was delivered and told them we wanted to return both the mattress and the base which we had purchased as a package. They told us they would let us return the mattress, but they do not accept returns for the base, which alone costs $3300.

    I have never heard of a company not allowing returns for such a product. We do realize that the base can be used with other types of mattresses, but we do not want it because we can easily find a base on Amazon that is $2000 less with the same functionality. We had bought that base because it was part of a package deal, and you would think that spending $7000 on a mattress would mean you are buying a high-quality mattress, but that was not the case. I do not understand why the base is not returnable when it was part of a package. They tried to come to a resolution by offering a topper, but we do not want the mattress whatsoever. We are extremely unhappy with the customer service and feel as though we have been scammed big time. I have friends and family who are considering a Sleep Number and I will tell them it would be wise to stay away from them. We want a refund.

    We purchased their top of the line King split top mattress and adjustable frame, sheets, pillows (just under $12,000). Expensive. The bed is very comfortable, however, one side does not properly record (one side does). My husband and I have over a dozen calls EACH trying to get resolution (technician to fix the issue, which has existed since the day we took delivery). Every call placed resulted in long wait times (30-45 minutes to speak with an individual) followed by a lengthy call and no resolution. Sleep Number customer service reps refused to send a technician. One agent in particular put us on hold for 45 minutes after lecturing us on the fact we were "not going to like the answer". Horrifyingly rude after a $12,000 purchase. We were only looking for a technician to swing by to see what was wrong. A pretty simple request.

    All Sleep Number customer service agents blamed our internet connection (my husband works for an internet company and our true speeds were not consistent with what Sleep Number told us they were, from a remote location I might add). We know what our speeds are and confirmed it with our internet provider. Sleep Number refused to accept actual data. I brought up the fact one side records correctly while the other does not. Every rep we spoke to could not answer why one side worked and one did not while continuing to blame our internet speed. We were stunned. And so disappointed.

    I suggest you research the company and look into their customer service (or lack thereof) before purchasing a mattress. There are many companies who are customer service driven and stand behind their products. I recommend you purchase from one of those reputable companies who actually care about customer satisfaction. Sleep Number demonstrated they do not care (beyond the initial sale). I have shared my poor experience with many, and they have gone elsewhere to purchase their mattress. Buyer beware.

    I now own six Sleep Number beds over two homes. Started out thinking they were really great. After a few years of owning them, I would never buy another one. Every single one, and that is six of them, have all failed over time. The air chambers at some point leak. Yes, they will replace them, but, as one would expect, they begin leaking air after the warranty has expired. I am now replacing air chambers that have already been replaced. While they are an ok bed, the truth is, once set, you really never adjust them. A lot of hype marketing and not a quality product. Just stay with a good old fashion mattress. You do not need pumps and all the wires and hassle that comes with these beds.

    I have an I8 Flextop King 360 Flexfit 1 Sleep Number bed. My bed was losing air. It is only 5 years old. If you have problems the company tells YOU how to figure out what's wrong. Then they'll send you the parts and YOU can fix it. We're elderly and can't get down on the floor so I called for a service rep. Found out it's $190.00 for someone to come and see what's going on.

    I had someone come out to troubleshoot the problem. They disconnected the bed from the controls so we could see if the problem was the bed or the controls. The problem is the bed. When I called to tell them, they said that they would order the parts and I would have to put the part in. If you want them to put them on it's another $190.00. AND they won't come back and hook up the controls again unless you pay another $190. Also, the warranty on the bed is prorated so I had to pay for 40% of the cost of the part. The new part also only has a 1 year warranty. When I buy an $8,000 bed, I expect it to last more than 5 years.

    We bought a Sleep Number bed for more than 6000 with a base. 90 days sleep trial with a 250$ delivery fee. This is what was told at the purchased location in Montana. Took 5 weeks for the bed to be delivery. After the bed was set up we was told we have a 90 day sleep trial. If you are not happy with the bed it will cost you 250$ fee to pick up up and your 2100$ base is not refundable. This information should have been told at purchase 5 weeks before delivery. So needles to say we was not happy with the bed and talking with the professionals adjusting settings to find the right comfort, even buying their 400$ pillow top cover. Nothing worked to make this product sleep comfortable for us.

    Last option was to return the bed. Called corporate. They offer us to upgrade for a additional 2k and there would not be any sleep trial. Purchased would be final. So this is not a 90 day sleep trial. It's costing me 2600$ for a product I'm not happy with and went through all the company steps to resolve the issue. They should stand behind all their products for the sleep trial. 2600$ for a overpriced box spring.

    After they charged over $4,000 I am not able to get any customer service for problems. The remote that came with the bed didn’t work. The delivery team left me with a used remote which had to be replaced within a few weeks. I have called customer service and tried their chat only to be told that they had “longer than usual wait times” which is not longer true when it is always the experience.

    The delivery team told me that they will be available to move my bed to another location. So now that I need them to do this I find out that there is an additional charge and they will not actually move the bed. They will disassemble it, NOT move it, and reassemble it on a different day - so if I want to sleep in a bed while waiting for them to reassemble it, I’ll have to go to a hotel. The bed has a knocking sound and a thud sensation every time I move..and no one responds from customer service. DO NOT buy from this company.

    Our purchase started off with the delivery being 2 hours after the 4 hour window we were given. There was no apology or consideration for our missing now a full day of work because "they were a little behind". If we had cancelled and rescheduled, we would have been charged a separate, additional delivery fee. I wish I could say that was the worst of it when it comes to their customer service....but... Within 6 months of purchase our adjustable bed started making a very loud noise when the head was raised on one side. Their "unlimited warranty" costs you $150 just for them to come look at the problem. So much for backing your product. Not sure how that is a warranty. Never again.

    First, I will say that the Climate 360, in general, is a very comfortable bed, especially with me always being hot and my wife being cold. Until a few months ago, we were very happy customers. However, there are now many competitors that have the same technology and I'm sure are as good if not better beds and features and will stand by their products without screwing over their customers. This is our second Sleep Number bed and both were the most expensive, luxury beds they sell. First the i10 then the C360. We have had our current C360 for 17 months and at the 13 month point, the foot warmer failed on the right side of the bed. Really, only 13 months for a part on a $13,000 bed?

    Their "so-called" 15-year warranty is a joke and goes to show how much they stand by their products. After only 1 year of the "15-year warrantee", they prorate any parts or service to 65%, sticking the customer with 35% of any parts/service required. So, we sucked it up and paid to get a new foot warmer and a ridiculous service installation fee of $150. Well, the new foot warmer only lasted 90 days and went out again. I was told this had a 12-month warranty, but when I called to have it replaced again, they told me it was only 90 days and I was over the time by a few days. After getting quite upset and asking to speak with a manager, they finally decided to adhere to their own warranty policy and replace it free, however, they wanted me to pay another service installation fee. Again, I told them how horrible they treat their customers and she finally removed the fee.

    Yesterday, they came and replaced the foot warmer, however, it failed the service test and I was told it must be the Smart Control System. At that point I knew what was coming and I'd have to pay the prorated amount. So, again, I sucked it up and paid another $227 for the part, but what put me over the edge was them charging yet another service installation fee. So, be aware, if you buy from this horrible company, do not plan to be treated as a valued customer. Not even when you, with all the accessories included, spent just shy of $20,000 for a bed and bed system that can't work without breaking for even 18 months. They then let you know how much they really appreciate you by charging you astronomically priced parts and service. I will never buy another product from Sleep Number, ever, and I intend on spreading the news to everyone I know and on as many review sites as I can.

    Called customer support and after an hour you never picked up. Called back today and got this person who told me later in the conversation she worked there for 8 years. She was not knowledgeable at all, reading off a list of crazy questions after I had told her we checked this mattress out for all possible failures according to the instructions in the manual. This is a 7000 Queen mattress dual controls purchased in 2004. The pillow top foam insert had lost its density over the years and I called to purchase a new one. After 45 minutes on and off hold and her asking more crazy questions like is there other furniture in the room causing the bed to not be supported, she tells me the cost just to buy the foam insert for the pillow top was $549.00 plus tax, and shipping. I guess ya'll want me to buy a new bed, NO not going to. I am sure I can buy foam way less expensive than to pay more than 25% of the cost of the entire bed just for a piece of foam.

    Bought 2 Sleep Number smart beds in October 2023. As of July 2024, the foam on one of them is separating. While they are replacing the foam for free under warranty. They charged a 163. Troubleshooting fee. They won't refund the fee. Bed is less than a year old. Not happy. I'm sure there are better options out there. Beds were 5k each.

    I would like to start out by saying we have been a customer for almost 20 years and my parents were the first people I knew who bought this system and they LOVED it. Back then the warranty actually covered replacing parts completely if they broke, but my parents had their bed for 20 years with no issues. Fast forward to my husband and I. We have had our bed for 2 years and two nights ago, my side stopped holding air. I tried filled it all the way to 100, but still woke up every two hours to refill it when my back would start to hurt. I called customer service thinking since my bed has a 15-year warranty the chamber would be covered and sent quickly. Sadly, it is prorated and will cost us $140.

    I might get it before I start my new job Monday but they could not guarantee the “next day shipping” would actually come by then because it, “still needs to be processed, packed and shipped.” So until then, I will be sleeping on my couch because the bed causes so much back pain in its current state and the Responsive Air setting doesn’t appear to notice the bed is losing air and kick on the try to refill it. We spent a good penny on this bed and it is so disappointing that the company’s products have lost their quality so much that they no longer cover the cost of replacement if they break. There are plenty of alternative mattresses with better warranties out there. Go try one of those. We will never recommend the Sleep Number to anyone else. Ever.

    I bought the climate360 king split top bed. $15,000 bed. Here's a quick list of the issues since purchased and have not used this bed yet since purchase. One side of the bed would deflate and the other side of the bed would inflate overnight and so the pump was replaced due to diagnostic test failure. After replacing the pump, I'm still having deflating issues so opening ANOTHER ticket.

    After replacing the pump, the thermo unit on the right side no longer passes diagnostics consistently. This might have been broken by the 2nd group of installers (repair people). Original installers said there was a defect with the cover so that got replaced. The original installers also refused to wear booties into the house or gloves so they got black handprints all over the first cover and tracked dirt throughout the home. I'm told that sleepnumber requires people to ask if they want to use booties and it's standard practice to do so with gloves.

    The 2nd group of installers(repair people) said the first contractors didn't install a bunch of the wires or the cover correctly so this was redone. During the diagnostics the bed would even disconnect during that so it would halt during the diagnostics (possible control board issue) that nobody wrote down. The original installers left one of the legs at a higher height than the rest of the legs...but it was still screwed into the frame so the leg was sitting there bending the frame up for 2 weeks.

    The original installers didn't install the frame correctly around the base so the 2nd group had to reinstall this. It's the bottom gray trim piece going around the base. After calling customer service for the 4th time and being escalated to some manager... She was HORRENDOUS to work with from a customer service perspective. Very dismissive and abrasive. I mentioned that customer service is not just replacing the broken parts that should have worked in the beginning, but going above and beyond by offering other financial incentive to prove that sleep number stands behind their products...either a free smaller bed in the guest room or a HUGE rebate $5000+ off of this $15k bed.

    What did they offer me? Free sheets or pillows. Who buys a $15k bed and doesn't have sheets/pillows sorted out? They could have given me a $100 gift card to McDonald's and it would have been more useful. I was actually offended. My bed was such a lemon that they're replacing the entire bed. The entire experience has been awful. I still might return this bed due to this experience and get a full refund but I haven't even got to use the bed one night yet.

    Like so many others here, our Sleep Number 360 stopped functioning correctly after about 5 months. Specifically the responsive air system. Spoke to customer service many times who did various troubleshooting techniques but nothing worked. Finally had replacement parts sent, including the box which is the brains, and also new hoses. Neither one of them solved the problem. Baselined the bed a few times and that did not work either and then I was told that it’s not good for the bed to baseline. Apparently every time you do so it loses memory because it tracks your movements and patterns. Perhaps if the bed worked as advertised, nobody would have to baseline. Crappy.

    They refused to send someone out without charging me, even after all of the unsuccessful attempts on their part to solve the problem. $9000 for a bed that turned faulty after five months. Customer service is absolutely horrible. Just read their responses here and you’ll see that they are uncaring and refuse to step up and do the right thing and take responsibility. Please avoid this company.

    We paid for our Sleep Number bed April 26, 2024. We requested delivery for April 29. My wife and I took off work in anticipation of getting the bed. We received a text from them on April 27th that it would be delivered between 11 and 2 PM. We were being bombarded with messages telling us how wonderful the bed would be, hawking their reward program etc. 11AM came and went as well as 12, 1 AND 2 PM, No sleep number activity. We called our salesmen who apologized and drafted a memo "through management".

    The delivery team finally made it to our new house at 5:30 PM! We normally get home from work at 4:30 so our day was wasted. It was finally delivered by contractors who had to drive 2 hours to get here. They began working, got it set up but still could not get my wife's sleep number app to work. Mine was working, we felt bad that these guys were a victim of working for sleep number so we sent them home. After cooling off, we called the wonderful sleep number customer helpless desk. They reviewed our order and apologized for the substandard service. They stated that sleep number used to give sheets and pillowcases as apology for substandard service but "probably not anymore".

    We asked to be transferred to management. I work in management, and I want satisfied customers. The manager stated that sleep number does not do "appeasement" any longer. I was very disappointed to hear this. It is not appeasement but good customer relations. So that was their attitude.

    Sleep Number 360 bed pump quit working after 2 years. Bed deflated and is no longer operational. Spent thousands on it new from the store. "15 Year Warranty" is prorated and is worthless. Still want over $300 to replace a pump that should still be working. Company does not stand behind their products and are poor quality. Would never consider buying another one nor recommending this company to anyone. Customer service and supervisor were of NO help.

    I financed a bed on sale with a waived delivery fee, then decided to return because the bed was terrible. However, they didn't seem to reflect the waived fee on my Synchrony account and won't give me the money back. Now, Synchrony is refusing to give me back any of the money I paid because Sleep Number messed up the billing. Both companies are sketchy and are literally stealing money from me. Had I known this would be the case, I would've stayed far away from Sleep Number.

    After 1 week, I still am unable to sleep on the bed due to very very very strong chemical smell/odor. I am told by the company the "bed forms gases for up to two weeks or longer." No idea how the gases could affect me but I'm tired of sleeping on the couch. They will do nothing for me until two weeks and mattress is thousands of dollars.

    Purchased a California king I10 flexTop smart bed, FlexFit 2 smart base, California king upholstered headboard, 2 sets of sheets, 2 pillow protectors, mattress pad, comforter and bed skirt for a total of $13,000. The sales told us we had 100 days to try the bed and if we were not satisfied, they would refund us 100%. I asked about restocking fees and was told there are none. I was told shipping was free and our old mattress could be picked up for $45. I rejected mattress pick up. They handed us an ipad to sign as they explained things.

    Upon delivery of the bed, once it was all set up, the delivery person asked if I had the brackets for the headboard. I didn't understand why I would have those, but quickly found out that the brackets to connect the headboard to the base is an additional cost and not available in the store. They have to be shipped. When I went to order said brackets, I learned the purchase I made was $1530 less. I checked my receipt and also learned I paid $249 for shipping and then saw their website also says free shipping.

    I spoke to an agent at the store who said to call customer service, they do price matching. I spoke to customer service 4 times within 3 hours of receiving the bed and nothing is resolved. I haven't slept in the bed yet and I want to return it. They won't price match because it was "purchased" over 30 days ago, yet they don't charge until it's delivered. That is their policy and they won't budge.

    While waiting for upper management to call, I decided to to do some extra research and found they are blocking people who leave bad reviews from leaving them, they don't honor the return policy they tell you about because the blank screen you sign on the IPad is your acknowledgment that furniture (even incomplete furniture) and adjustable bases can't be returned. I'm absolutely dissatisfied and honestly terrified this will be the most expensive bad purchase I've ever made. I'm not alone in that. Others can be found here.     Where to begin... Well, we bought a new house and decided it was time for a new bed. Went into a Sleep Number store (Brentwood, MO) and spent the better part of an hour or more really checking out the beds, hearing all the details, trying different comfort levels, talking about price/options/etc. All the while the salesman was regularly telling us that we had "100 days risk free to try the bed, if you don't like it, we'll come take it back." We went away, with our information on file, until the closing was complete.

    We then paid for half of the bed and financed the second half... Around $3000 worth. What we were NOT told is that their financing option is not financing... It's a credit card, one with an $8,000 credit limit which was taken out on our behalf, impacting our credit without our informed consent. Under Missouri Consumer Projection guidelines, this would be an "omission of material fact".

    After a few weeks with it, we just really do not like the application required to adjust it, the way the entire base works really... And also we don't love the split king aspect which we were told by the salesman was unnoticeable... But was not. The mattress we received is also of a noticeably different quality than the one we tested in the store... Suggesting misrepresentation of their merchandise. We decided it wasn't for us... And to return it under the assured "100 nights risk free. It turns out, this was a blatant lie/half truth. It's important to note that the salesmen said "bed" and "whole thing" repeatedly, as well as "no risk"... Not just one slip up, but this was his actual sales pitch.

    After 3 phone calls, we finally got them to at LEAST make an exception on their "you have to keep it 30 days" policy... Which, I get wanting people to give it a fair chance, but most of our issues weren't related to the comfort of the bed, but the operation of the flex fit base itself. This policy was not disclosed to us at the time of purchase, in the context of those 100 days risk free claim and would be a "risk". This fee was not disclosed to us at the time of purchase, in the context of those 100 days risk free claim and would be a "risk".     However, and here is the real rub out of all of it... The 100 night return only covers the mattress. It does not cover the $3,000 BASE for the mattress, which is according to their customer support a final purchase and cannot BE returned. Under Missouri Consumer Projection guidelines, this would be a GLARING "omission of material fact". Using the word bed, when speaking of a purchase consisting of 2 parts (mattress and base) but only ACTUALLY meaning 1 of those parts is 100% a deception, and I would argue an intentional one, because no one "on the fence" would commit to having a $3,000 potential liability if they ended up regretting their purchase.

    They will be picking up the mattress on the 28th of this month, deducting aforementioned fee, at which time we (and our attorney) will be filing a complaint with the consumer protection office of the Missouri Attorney General as well as in the civil courts for damages and legal fees. Avoid this company, save yourself the hassle we're about to have to go through, and choose whatever other mattress is down the street.

    My husband and I purchased a Sleep Number bed frame and mattress in September 2023. After a few weeks of trying the new mattress, we were dissatisfied and didn’t experience a comfortable sleep despite reaching out to Customer Service for assistance. We decided to return the mattress within the 100 night risk free period, although we learned the $1500 base itself was non-returnable. I was advised different reasons on two occasions: one because it is too heavy to move; the second time because it’s made by a third party. My complaint is regarding the deceptive language of the use “risk free.” There is, in fact, a risk the consumer takes on when purchasing a mattress and base. The return of the mattress involved a pickup fee, and the base allegedly isn’t returnable at all.

    I have issues with this because several social media posts state Sleep Number made an exception to return the base. Why is this not being offered to me? That seems discriminatory. Furthermore, when purchasing something of this cost in a store, it is difficult to know if it will be a suitable purchase; regardless of what is in writing, this is a deceptive practice and now I’m stuck with an overpriced bed frame I don’t need. I feel Sleep Number should allow me to return the base and/or offer a refund of some sort. This is seemingly a bait and switch company and the reviews I have read support my concerns. I except resolution of my issue in compensation or the ability to return the base. “Risk free” is a misleading term.

    The base of my Sleep Number just stopped working (it won't adjust). The Sleep Number app instructed me to reset, which didn't work so it then instructed me to contact customer support... the process ended up being a 3-hour ordeal that was a total waste of time because it went nowhere.

    I called Sleep Number support first and they ran remote diagnostics on the base. They said, "I'm getting an error message on the actuator on the right side of the bed." They said I needed to be transferred to their "adjustable base team" which turned out to be just a separate manufacturer. They said they'd pass on the info need by the base team and they'd take care of the issue from there. When I was connected with the manufacturer of the adjustable base, no info was passed nor was I informed of what I needed to tell them for my case; there are two actuators on the side of the bed having issues. This was not disclosed to me, so I had to start the process over of contacting Sleep Number support.

    After another attempt filled with really long hold times on the phone, I finally got the info I needed and connecting again to the manufacturer of the base. As they were processing my bed issue, I was appalled to find out that I'd have to pay $90 for the replacement actuator, order a remote control for the bed (because a reset could only be done with the remote, which would be needed to complete the actuator replacement), and do the install myself.

    When we purchased this bed for over $7k from Sleep Number in October. 2021, I was assured that this significant investment was backed by a 15-year warranty in case we ever had any problems. Considering the high cost, this was very important in our buying decision. The base is what really drove up the cost of this purchase and never imagined I'd have to shell out $100 to fix it after just two years of ownership.

    I was so frustrated when I was told by the Sleep Number team that they only paid a pro-rated portion for the replacement part which decreased to 65% of the cost after the first year! And then 5% every year thereafter. These terms were NEVER mentioned when we purchased. Sleep Number customer support recommended that I speak with a Customer Support supervisor so they connected me. Waited on hold for 20 minutes and the call dropped. Called back again to get connected, which again was another long hold time.

    When I spoke to the customer service supervisor, it was the worst part of this lengthy process. I went through the process again of explaining the issues I experiencing; he sounded like he couldn't care less and was totally disconnected. So in the end, I'm stuck with a broken bed unless I just bit the bullet and pay for the replacement part. For something we invested over $7k into, I can't believe how bad this experience has been. This is my most regrettable purchase ever.

    Tip for people shopping for an adjustable bed: DON'T buy a Sleep Number! This is the WORST customer service experience I've ever had. Considering the price Sleep Number beds and all the other alternatives available, I recommend going with another brand. A bed is supposed to last for years! Quality and customer service, especially for such high-cost product, are so critical! The bed was great when it worked, but considering the experience I've just had, this has turned out to be one of my most regrettable purchases.

    20 year customer and this would have been my 4th bed from Sleep Number. Delivery date and time was provided inaccurately per multiple employees when I purchased the bed. The company lied about day/time delivery, the financial piece that it will take 2 billing cycles to reverse charges for a bed never delivered, and that there is nothing that is able to be done to keep a customer of 20 years. That has purchased beds for parents also from this company.

    Please don't purchase from this company. They have no idea about customer service nor care about people whom have purchased their products and pay their salaries. Absolutely nothing was offered to try and save a customer. The executive consultant kept repeating herself that no date or time of delivery could be guaranteed ever. Then how does anyone plan to get their beds when the first of 5 people I spoke with today stated many customers have their date and time scheduled over a week in advance. Pathetic service!

    Went into the TownSquare Las Vegas Sleep Number store, Nov 6th. Travis greeted us, seemed like a nice guy, told him I want to see the fully loaded one, walks my wife and myself over to it, we test it, tells us everything about (he did a good presentation I’ll give him that) we added other things to our order it came out to like $13k, I'm a lay down so immediately I said “we’ll take it!” Probably one of the easiest sales this store has seen. Travis tells me I’ll have my mattress in 4 weeks. I don’t get an email with shipping so I texted him about it (he told me he’d call me on a Thursday since that's my day off to go over dates to receive my products). He doesn’t call me so I call him, he lets me know things got delayed another 2 weeks. I said, "Fine no worries."

    He texted me I have proof of text “Hey Kevin so it looks like the soonest available date will be just past 4 weeks. 12/9 is the soonest that’s a Friday. I have 12/10 and 12/13. Let me know what works best for you” actual copy and paste of his text. I told him Dec 13th was great, Dec 13th comes I get no confirmation so again I text Travis (he is no good at follow up). He tells me “I’ll be in the office at 10am and will see what’s good. Did you receive a call 2-3 days ago? Or any text confirmation?” I told him no confirmation. He told me he was waiting to hear back from the home delivery supervisor which is probably a lie. I'm sure Travis was probably just sitting on his thumb somewhere not trying to help me. Anyway, I called customer service myself. The lady told me I was scheduled for FEBRUARY!!!!

    One of the main reasons I bought this was so my pregnant wife can enjoy some comfort, she’ll be popping by February so what the eff would of been the point of that!? I let this dude Travis what they said and what he promised do not match up and he goes “I’m not sure but I will find out. You are scheduled we’re scheduled for December 13th as of the last time we talked. All new orders are 8-10 week lead times but you ordered well prior to the change.” And I replied “Please man I paid too much to be danced around. I just want this resolved. I feel like I been pretty easy client so far. I just don’t understand the miscommunication between your store and the delivery people.” (I think I was still being cool about it.)

    Customer service lady was able to help me get the delivery by Jan 3rd (Yesterday) and our mattress isn’t working properly so that's disappointing. I had to handle the issue myself when I was promised by Travis “manager” he would help me. Make him work with the delivery team so he knows what hard work is and maybe that way he’ll stop overpromising customers.

    My i8 Bed deflated and couldn't be pumped. Sleep Number sent their technicians to troubleshoot the problem. They recommended replacement of the foam, pump and remote control. I placed order for these parts in April 2022. I received the last part in December 2022. That's eight months that I had to sleep on a broken bed. This kind of service is unacceptable.

    Hi I'm Don. My Sleep Number is nothing. I have had a top of the line Sleep Number for almost two months! I have not had a decent night's sleep for two months! The under bed light stays on all night and will not go off, the air does not work on my side (well it did work once when I had it turned off). Furthermore the "foot warmer warms my feet quite well - but not my feet.. Additionally I have found out Sleep Number can access your bed (privacy issue I was NOT informed about).

    The in store staff was phenomenal and so was customer service online. I am however extremely displeased with the company themselves. They advertise a money back guarantee within 100 days of service but don't tell you about the $500 dollars you have to pay for pickup and delivery that is nonrefundable. They also don't tell you about the shipping and handling that you are accountable for. We went in to the store hoping we found a bed that would work. Wound up having to take out a $3000 loan and put $800 down on top of it and by the end of all the fees after we returned a bed that didn't work we wound up owing $280 to our loan and no money back in our accounts. This loan is continuing to accrue interest because of the hidden fees. So when it comes down to it we are still paying $1000 on a bed we don't even have.

    I just received an i8 bed. The delivery personnel were great. The bed is off-gassing horrendously despite being told the split king mattress was chemical-free. We were outright lied to over and over for two hours despite our concerns when buying it. We are now stuck with a king bedframe we do not need and wouldn't have purchased had we received full disclosure. I have major chemical allergies and no way to escape the poison enveloping my small home. I've been sick since and we have no choice but to sleep on a couch until it gets picked up. Not sure when that will happen. I will be filing a complaint with the FTC over shoddy business practices. Refusing to take back the expensive bed frame forces many consumers to keep their beds despite the dangers from the poisons they emit.

    ​Due to the way foam is created, gasses are trapped in the bubbles. These gases, while safe, are quite odorous. Some people may call in overwhelmed, worried, or sensitive to the smell. The odor has been proven to be harmless. We do not use Formaldehyde in the creation of our foam. They then tell me it would be another 5 weeks until they could come get the bed, which I was not happy.

    So after 5 weeks of waiting they finally show up to pick up my queen mattress. The guys from the warehouse back into my driveway and proceed to take my mattress and place it into their van. After it is loaded they pull out of my driveway, which is surrounded by woods, drive 30 feet around the corner to conceal themselves behind the trees and proceed to throw out 2 old box springs from their van onto my property right along side the road. (See the pictures for proof) I do not own any box springs and I was not returning any box springs, only a mattress. I then call customer service and spoke with Tiffani ** who could not have cared less about what I was describing to her.

    She advised me that they would not be able to send someone back for 12 days, which I of course told her was completely unacceptable. I then ask her for a refund of my $250 fee as I do not feel I should be paying for you to come get my bed and then have your drivers throw 2 box springs onto my property. Tiffani refused to refund my money stating that they charge every customer this return fee and (I'm not kidding she actually said this) it wouldn't be fair to everyone else if they were charged the fee and I was not. (Seriously she said this) At which time I got a little upset and asked her if her drivers threw box springs into every customers yard after a pick up, because that would be fair to everyone as well.

    To which she just chuckled on the phone and said of course they don't do that. Anyways she still refused to refund my money and I have not heard back from anyone concerning this matter. (And by the way, someone did return that evening to get the box springs left on my property) After this I placed a phone call to Dustin at the Harrisburg store advising him of this incident and he seemed to take it very seriously, he even had me text him the photos you see here. He advised me that he was going to email his regional manager as well as CC the vice president of the company. I do not know if this actually took place but I have still not heard from anyone at sleep number and have not been refunded my $250 fee. I will never again be doing business with this company and I will STRONGLY encourage anyone I know that is looking to buy a mattress to stay away from your company. Your customer service is by far the worst I have ever experienced.

    This review is regarding the Sleep Number C4 bed and not the install experience. TL;DR - we got a sleep number C4 mattress. It cost a small fortune, but doesn't offer great features or build quality for the price. That plus the obscene fees sleep number charges its customers makes this purchase feel like a GIGANTIC MISTAKE. A lot of folks call SN a glorified air mattress and you know what? They're not wrong. We paid $1,600 for this bed + $250 in delivery fees + CA state taxes. That's a LOT of money! What we got in exchange for this price is a product that feels flimsy and barebones. The quality seems fine and it's more comfortable than the Leesa Legend we're replacing (more on that below)--the issue is that this is the price of a luxury bed and what we got in exchange is something that feels cheap and low quality.

    There is a good chance I will return this bed, but SN charges a $250 return fee during their so called "100 night trial" (!!!), which is obscene--the bed is so light I could lift it up over my head with one hand if it weren't, an unwieldy queen size mattress. A trial period should not involve delivery and return fees. This is a standard practice at other mattress companies, just not SN. Anyway you slice it, it's greedy and insane.

    Why do I feel this way? This bed is a replacement for the Leesa Legend mattress we got from Costco for $1,250. Great quality product, high quality materials, well made, owned by a B Corp, offers free returns during their 100 night trial period--the issue is that it is too soft--every morning, I would wake up feeling like I got in a fight with the mattress and the mattress won, so I bought SN, hoping that would resolve the issues I was having.

    We had an incident with our mattress and total protect mattress cover. I called the 800-4720-7185 number and was placed on hold, then transferred, then placed on hold, and then after over 15 minutes was disconnected. I decided to do an online chat (November 15th), and was able to chat with William who did a great job and he ordered our replacement parts. Once they arrived (November 18th). I did another chat to schedule delivery since the calling last time wasn't ideal. I was connected and then disconnected again!

    Let me say, at this point was extremely frustrated with the whole process, not to mention the frustration that I have with the fact I had to file this claim in the first place.     We bought a $6000+ bed in January 2022. Our bed has never seen more action! The air inflates and deflates all on its own, all night long. Then the base stopped working properly. When you try to call you get put on hold for hours or are asked to allow them to call you back in 1-3 hours. That's for the mattress. Oh, when they finally take you off of hold, you hear a baby screaming in the background, you say "hello, hello, hello" and then you get cut off. The base - you are on your own to try to coordinate service through a company called Legget & Plapp who made your base. Sleep Number doesn't deal with problems on the base because they contract with Legget & Plapp to make all of their bases. Again, you need to take your bed apart to find the serial number or they won't even take the call.

    We bought this bed from Sleep Number not Legget & Plapp!!!!! It has been two weeks since the technicians came and told us we needed a new pump and that they would order it. There is nothing in our records indicating that they have done that. We have heard nothing since they left. The base was not addressed, BECAUSE THEY DON'T SERVICE THE BASE!!!! My husband has been sleeping sitting up for two weeks because the base is stuck in the sit position and the bed goes up and down all night long - not for the reasons one would hope. Salesman Chris in Duluth has gone above and beyond to try to get customer service to help us but even he has no pull. Our first Sleep Number lasted 30 years, this one about 9 months. If you want to consider buying a new bed - GO ELSEWHERE. Sleep Number is not worth your frustration.

    One of the top reasons I purchased a Sleep Number bed was because they would take away my old bed.     After receiving my bed, in just one night I could tell this was just two air mattresses in a mattress pad. I have had the bed just over a week and my lower back is so locked up that my legs are going numb if I try sleeping in the bed. The number adjustment does not matter, too soft and I feel like I'm sleeping in a coffin because the sides don't get soft, you're just letting the air out of the mattress and laying on base of your bed. Too hard and it bows up like balloon so your head and feet are resting lower than your body.

    I want to return my bed, however I was informed today that I MUST keep the bed for 30 days before I can file for a return, and then on top of that I cannot return the bed myself, I will have to pay $249 to have them come get it. So for 30 days I will be sleeping on my couch just waiting for them to charge me to come get this bed. Not impressed, not even a little bit.

    Visited the Clearwater, FL location and spoke with Greg. While he was good at providing some details about the bed/bases, he left out some details that are deal breakers. 1st, he didn't disclose that the bed he sold me required an app to use and that the app would collect personal information. Upon the delivery of the bed, they informed me that I wouldn't be able to control the bed without the app. I called customer support and they agreed to send me the wireless remote to be able to control the bed without the app. While this was pleasing, the 2nd deal breaker arose when I rec'd the remote. I attempted to sync the cordless remote to the bed and it wouldn't work. Since I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong, I pulled up the Sleep Number customer service chat. I chatted with customer service and they then informed me that the base Greg sold me is ONLY operable by a corded remote. If he had disclosed this, I wouldn't have bought that base.

    The last thing most people want is more cords everywhere. Due to the negligence of the salesman to fully explain the details of the bed/base, I now have a bed I don't want, due to the numerous devices that are required to use the bed. If at all possible, I'd like someone from Sleep Number to contact me to exchange the base I have with one that I can control via wireless remote. I'm sure there is a difference in the cost of the bases and have no problem paying the difference. If this isn't an option, nothing is requested as this will be both the first and last item I purchase from Sleep Number.

    Needed to place a call to customer service, the bed pump and remote quit talking to each other and of course one side of the bed is flat the other pumped up to where it is as hard as a board. The gentleman was helpful and told me that the replacement part would cost me $150, I was surprised, needless to say I asked for expedited delivery and was told 4-7 days shipping. Placed the order. After 2 weeks I began a chat online to follow-up on the order. Cacy just didn't seem to care and took his sweet time to answer my questions online. When asked to speak with a manager that didn't seem to be a priority either. His comment to me was that the pump was on back order, no explanation. I had to pull every answer like pulling teeth. A lot of pain and crying. I gave up and placed a telephone call and asked to speak with a manager right off. She told me she was one. I explained my issue and asked what was up and why the extra delay. Again supply chain issues.

    I explained that the bed is not sleepable upon what could they do, again I had to ask every question one by one. The bed isn't made any longer. It is obsolete? The bed is 4 years old and the person who took the order never mentioned anything about a long delay in getting parts. I asked about the possibility of a local store that might have one, what about returned/repaired pumps; pulling one out of a box set and sending me something so that I can sleep. NOpe, she was only going to be able to place my order in an expedited file, gee right back where I started. So while I am sleeping on an air mattress, one I purchased from Target at least they had customer service and upon hearing of my issue they discounted the blow up mattress 20%. I am now in the process of checking out a regular mattress as Sleep Number can't and won't help. I guess their Customer Service is having supply chain issues as well.

    Bought our split king sleep number beds 17 years ago in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Four years ago we moved to Virginia and we started having issues with our beds. They would lose air at least once a week. We never used our warranty in the past. Found out through a Sleep Number Store, that we were covered by our 20 year warranty. Called to make a service call to have our beds checked from top to bottom. A tune up per se. Found out that 100% warranty coverage ended at 2 years. After 2 years you begin to pay a percentage. The longer time period, the more you pay for parts. You are also required to pay a $99 service call fee. We paid the $99 and set a date for the service call. Day came, tech showed up in company truck, walked into our bedroom and looked at our beds. He stated he never saw any like this. Then he took the control and checked the air number for each bed. Said everything was good and departed.

    We called the customer service number and stated the tech was only at our house 10 minutes max and only checked the air with the controller. We stated that he never checked the hoses, the boxes under the beds, or the beds themselves. We got nowhere with the customer service rep and we were transferred to the next higher level when we stated we wanted our $99 back. Supervisor stated that we only ordered to have the controller air checked. I stated we asked for a tune up and to have the whole bed checked out. Supervisor stated that we hadn't requested a tune up, because if we had, a specialist tech would have been sent to our home. I stated he was crazy to think we would pay $99 to check the controller air count and we wanted our money back.

    After back and forth talk, we knew we would never see the $99, or get the service that we had asked for. I got frustrated and hung up the phone. If I had known that the service wouldn't had been what we asked for, We never would have placed the initial call for service. Will not consider Sleep Number when we decide to buy new beds.

    You need to know if you are going to buy from this company, a mistake on your order, or even downright dishonesty on their part will cost YOU!!! It should be pointed out from the start this is a situational review on the company and not the product. My issue occurred several months ago and I have put off writing the review to allow time to pass and see if my feeling is as strong now as when the issue occurred. I have been a Sleep Number customer for three years and love the product. My original bed was a “middle of the line” bed. The base would only elevate the head; however, I was fully able to control all of the bed's features via the app. I loved having this ability almost as much as I loved the bed. Earlier this year my wife and I decided to upgrade to the “top of the line” bed.

    In March we went to the local Sleep Number Store and were very clear with the salesman what we wanted, as well as the amount of money we were willing to spend. He informed me there was a “huge sale” coming up next month and if we could wait until then we could save a lot of money. We agreed, leaving him with the list of everything we wanted and with the promise he would contact us after speaking to his manager to get a more accurate price. Two weeks later he called with “good news” as he was able to get everything on our list under our budget. We left with the understanding he would call me once the sale started and I would place the order on the phone.

    In April, his manager called to place the order however, this time the total was well over our budget. Turns out the salesmen neglected to include the frame and headboard in the first estimate. I instructed her to call me back the next day after I had had the opportunity to discuss this with my wife. Three days later I called them and low-and-behold get the original salesman. I informed him we had decided to proceed without the frame and headboard, but I wasn’t very happy. He apologized for his mistake and gave me a new total.

    Once again it is well over my budget; apparently he had not priced the base correctly. This time I am very upset and let him know it, in fact I told him we were just going to forget the order all together. Keep in mind the salesman work on commission (I have confirmed this). He ask me to give him a moment to see what he could do and after several moments he says “oh I see my mistake now”, and gives me a price under my budget. To clarify, I reviewed my entire order with him, which he confirmed. For some reason I even went as far to ask him to confirm I would be able to control everything via the app. Again he confirmed.

    So imagine my surprise when my bed is delivered and it has three separate remotes per side (six total)!! Turns out that even though I ordered and thought I was getting the “top of the line” base, the order was placed for a much lower level base. When I called the store to find out what was going on, brace yourself, the salesman no longer works for Sleep Number. In fact, he had already given his notice when he processed my order. The manager confirms he had placed the order for exactly what I received, despite telling me I was getting what I wanted. Classic bait and switch. Yes, I do believe this was intentional, however I could never prove it and to what avail.

    I did of course call to complain and this part I will summarize. Two weeks, four different agents, even a letter to the CEO and every single time, the only way they would make this right was for me to spend more money. They all admitted the company was in the wrong, but to make it right required me to dig deeper. The amount kept decreasing but their every offer required me to dig deeper into my pocket. Mind you, I even told them I accepted the fact I was not going to get the base I was supposed to unless I spent more money, but I had no more to spend and it simply wasn’t a possibility. I asked them to go a different direction and just try and make this issue right with their customer. How they did so I totally left up to them. Honestly at that point I would have accepted a set of sheets… I wouldn’t have been happy, but I would have accepted and dropped it.

    They would not budge… Their final offer was to wave restocking, delivery and pickup fees, and discount the new base all totaling almost $7000.00 in exchange for me spending another $550.00, but if I wouldn’t pay, they would do NOTHING. I actually used those exact words with the last representative, and he confirmed and then gave me 30 days to consider the offer. I was then and remain today in total disbelief.

    I absolutely love the Sleep Number bed, but am reminded of this issue every time I have to reach for different remote to change the temperature after putting the one I just used to elevate my feet back on the nightstand. Yes, it is not that big of a deal, but it is a pain in the rear, and it was not what I wanted or what I should have received, but they stuck me with it. I do pray this bed last a lifetime because this company will never again receive a dime of my money. Nor can I in good faith recommend anyone to do business with them. However, if you do be sure you are able to read and confirm your order before placing it. Otherwise, you too could become a victim of a salesperson trying to make “one last sale”.

    I love my new Sleep Number Bed! I have used a sleep number bed for many years and love it. The ordering experience was the best! I received several emails and texts confirming the delivery before the delivery date with a 3-hour delivery window. The driver called me that morning with a closer delivery time. When they had a truck issue they called again, very apologetic, to explain they might be a little later, but still got here in the 3-hour delivery time.

    The mattress and box spring have lost all support. The box spring in the first year had to be replaced because it was bent. Now in the second year of just having this type of bed is in even worse shape. Box spring is sagging down, as well as the mattress itself. At 100% it is not firm at all.

    When we purchased our Queen Dual i10 six years ago, I remember being nervous of how long it would last given all the moving parts, the sales person said it had a 25 year warranty so we felt protected making such a big purchase. Now one side of our bed, loses air every night. It is uncomfortable and annoying. We completed the troubleshooting and I contacted Sleep Number. They said I would have to pay a portion of the cost to replace the defective part because it is prorated based on how long you have owned the bed.

    When I asked about how it was prorated the customer service person was pretty rude to me and did not explain how you really only get a full warranty for 2 years and then after that you pay a percentage based on how long you have owned your bed. I found the information online myself. I don't feel like 6 years is a long time to have a bed. We have never moved it, keep it covered and it perfect shape but now it is pretty much useless. Not really sure I want to put money into a bed that is such poor quality or buy from a company that doesn't explain the extent of the warranty. Buyer beware!

    Ordered on 6/26/22. Called to schedule delivery. They said 8/12/22 was the soonest. We called to cancel the order because waiting 6 weeks for a new bed is absurd, and they said they could get it to us sooner, with 7/12/22 being the new delivery date. After taking the day off work, breaking down our whole room, and moving furniture in preparation for the delivery and they just called us at 5:20pm (with a 3pm-6pm delivery window) to let us know the truck is broken down and they need to reschedule to 7/30/22. They didn't offer any other solutions, discounts, or anything to rectify the issue. Absolutely unacceptable. Definitely will be looking to buy from any other company after this experience.

    I called and placed an order for a new pump for my bed 5/16. Was told I would receive it in 24-48 hours. Four days later I called and was told that it was on backorder with no idea when I would receive. Three days after that call I get an email from you all stating due to shipping constraints you all did not know when I would receive the pump. So which is it? I wrote a comment on your Facebook page and a rep told me a manager would be in touch with me in 24 - 48 hours. Needless to say I never heard a word.     We bought a $1,600 mattress exactly 5 years ago. By coincidence the remote control + the air pump gave up the ghost to the day 5 years later. Now after spending an entire evening with the support you want us to pay for replacements with warranty? The support told us to deflate the air mattress. Now after it is deflated and technically not useable to sleep on anymore they told us that a replacement part is $162 (10% of our purchase price!). Furthermore, the replacement has to paid upfront and no indication when we will get them! Again: we have an deflated mattress! This looks to me like a scam, what do you think?

    Save your money and avoid these scammers. Bed is decent enough but leaks in time and then the fun begins. Their warranty is horrible. They will charge you 40% of all the costs. So a simple issue is $200 or so plus $99 technician fee.

    The delivery team is top notch. However, Customer Service is by far the worst. I have never been this angry before. They want you to take a damaged item. If you don't take the damaged item, they put you at the end of the delivery list which is 30 days out. They don't communicate well. In working with the delivery team, they said the new mattress cover could be overnighted and when I received it, call them, and they would deliver the bed within 3 days. Sleep Number customer service said that I refused delivery and would have to go to the back of the line-30 days out. This is my 3rd sleep number bed. Never before have I had to go through this. Customer Service is a mess.

    I ordered a Sleep Number bed on May 2, 2022. I paid it in full at that time. I was told that none were in stock. They had to be made to order. So, not great, but, it is what it is. I was told my delivery date would be June 17, 6 weeks after placing and paying for my order. This bed is for my 81 year old mother who has back problems. I thought an adjustable firmness bed would be just the perfect thing for her. Except that today, June 9, 2022, one week before she was to have the bed delivered, I got an email from you, Sleep Number, telling me about supplier issues and that my new (final?) deliver date would be August 4, 2022.

    So, my mother with her back problems and the fact that she is in her 80's with health issues (she could go tomorrow for all we know), doesn't seem to be important to Sleep Number. After all, you already have my money, have provided no product to me, and now will float the loan of my money for at least another 6 weeks. Oh, I contacted you today. No resolution. I posted comments similar to these on your Facebook page - you deleted those comments and banned me from making additional comments.

    I have had nothing but problems with this bed. From the day I received it, the bed wouldn't hold air. I told them I was reasonably certain it was the chambers, but they wouldn't believe me. They told me it was customer error, then it was the pump, then the hoses. Each repair attempt took a week. Finally they replaced the chambers and it was working again. For the next couple of months, it worked "ok". I had to keep reconnecting the bed to my phone (which was a much larger chore than it should be).

    A couple of months ago, I tried to raise the head to read. The bed started going up and wouldn't stop until it was vertical. I ended up talking to three different departments before someone decided to send me a remote (which was on backorder). Once it arrived, it wouldn't connect to the bed. Customer service told me they sent the wrong remote and said they would send the correct one once it was back in stock. However, they sent me the same remote again (with updated software). And, you guessed it, that one didn't work either. Now they're sending out someone to replace the "motherboard", which was out of stock for two weeks and the tech was scheduling out another two weeks. (sigh) Hopefully it will work again someday. Unfortunately, I've had it too long to return it. I guess: lesson learned. I will never purchase another Sleep Number bed, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

    There is nothing that obviously states that adjustable bases are non-refundable during the online ordering process. We purchased the bed completely online and, while it is in your terms and conditions, that verbiage has to be searched for and a customer would have to go looking for that information. Not only should you have an obvious message when purchasing an adjustable base that you will have to keep it, you should also have your delivery drivers make sure the customer knows before accepting the base. Now we are stuck with a $2500 base that we have no use for, that we've only had for one month. A very poor way to do business. We will never be purchasing from Sleep Number again.
