They will tell you that you will receive it in a few weeks, beating every other furniture store around. Well the Date will come and go and the next one they give you will come and go and so on. I was told the middle of January then beginning of February then the end of February now I'm told the 2nd week of March. Which is what other furniture stores were estimating. Do yourself a favor and go with the honest stores!!

We purchased a Mattress online for delivery. We didn't receive any delivery confirmation call the day before or day of delivery. We called to find out when it would be delivered and we were told their "Loss Prevention" department requires the following:
-Signed Mortgage or Lease Agreement in your name at the delivery address
-Recent Utility bills in your name at the delivery address
-2 Recent Paystubs
Really??? Mind you this was for a PAID order and we purchased from them in the past. We cancelled the order and never again will we buy from them. I'll purchase from P.C. Richard or Bob's Furniture, much more accommodating to their customers without the criminal third degree.

I have made several calls, I keep telling them I don't want a broken recliner. I got passed around to several different people. They chose to send a repair man out. He took a big wrench and bent parts of the metal frame. I explained to him that this is unacceptable. I only had the chair a couple weeks before it broke. Now it's "repaired", It was obviously defective, and it may happen again. I would be willing to select another different recliner. Now I am at the point where I have been given a phone number for the service department. I have called several times and all I get a answering machine. They have yet to return my call. I am on Social Security. I am not in a position to pay for a broken piece of furniture. Raymour and Flanigan is ripping me off.

While I had a great experience when making my purchase, that experience ends there. When I went to pick up my sofa at the store warehouse the sofa fell off the dolly as the employee (who was a sales person) pushed the dolly towards the exit. When he asked me to sign that I received the sofa in good condition, I questioned it. I stated that how do I know that it wasn’t damaged when he dropped it. He told me that if there was a problem to call them. When the plastic wrapping was removed the from the couch at home, we found a rip on the right side of the couch. I immediately called the store and was told that the process is a repairman will be sent out to access. That they can repair it, credit me some credit or send a new one.
However when the repairman arrived, I told him I would rather have a new one as the damage happened before I got it home. He kindly gave me a name and number to call. The lady, Maria, stated to me that how does she know that it was dropped at the warehouse. How condescending?! They have video cameras right where the sofa was stored and being brought out! I have a witness that was with me! She continued to say that the receipt stated there are no refunds or exchanges. She offered to send me a copy of the receipt. Again, condescending! She went further to inform me that she would decide if the repair is to be done to their liking.
You would think the that a company like Raymour & Flanigan would have a higher caliber and standard of customer service. I could’ve taken my business to another store and paid significantly less. I do not recommend you buy anything from them. At least not their non- outlet store. At the outlet branch you expect some scratches and defects. You don’t expect that from an item that you special ordered. And you don’t expect to be accused of lying that their employee dropped it and obviously the damage happened before you got it home. I’m completely disgusted. I will say the repairman felt terrible, looked embarrassed (as he’s a representative of the company), was very nice and apologetic.

Thank you, Kelly **, from Raymour & Flanigan for hooking us up with our new adjustable bed! Split queen, dual controls. Woohoo! We'll need to get used to the settings, but this morning I had perfect lounging until 10:30! Excellent service, amazing price, next day delivery. The delivery team was awesome, too! I took this photo in the store (as nobody wants to see the Baumgardens laying in bed! Haha!). Kelly's email is **. Kelly will not push you into anything you don't want. A refreshing shopping experience! See what she can do for you!

Raymour and Flanigan, 3464 McKinley Pkwy, Buffalo, NY 14219. We purchased an Axium King bed from this location in Blasdell, NY near the McKinley Mall, and AFTER 6 WEEKS IT FINALLY ARRIVED. We were excited for its arrival! On arrival, the delivery people put it together without the slat supports, did not leave the instructions, it (i.e., blue tooth from our phone etc). This is where it gets ridiculous, after they left, we contacted the store and informed them that our “NEW” mattress started sinking, after approximately a week, they dispatched someone else out with the wrong information, on his arrival he informed us that they did not tell him the slats did not have support/s. After which he left!
Shortly afterwards as we were getting off the bed, it broke (picture attached) and we had to drop the mattress on the floor. We contacted the store and after a few more weeks, they sent out a loaner frame for us to put our mattress on, even with a Bunkie board the mattress continues to sink. We discussed with them the issue of replacing our mattress if the bed destroyed it, and they stated, not their problem! We slept with our mattress on the loaner frame, with a sinking mattress for more than 2 months.
After several months (6), multiple phone calls, talking to dispatch, and several Managers, our bed was scheduled to be replaced in full on 1/17/2021. On the day of its arrival, we were called and the Manager from the warehouse stated, “just to confirm you are expecting replacement slats?” I told him, “NO” we are expecting an “ENTIRE” bed and I explained to him what the situation was, again. During this back and forth with this Manager, someone my husband had spoken to before, I tagged my husband and said, “tag you’re it!”
After several phone calls to the store Manager and the warehouse Manager on delivery day we were informed that only the slats were on the delivery truck, although on the requisition/order it stated the entire bed was to be delivered! The store could not do anything about it, and we were re-directed to the warehouse Manager, who in turn informed us in no uncertain terms are we getting our delivery today 1/17/2021 and bumped our delivery to 1/18/2021, stating he could not bump anyone else.
On 1/18/2021 our new bed arrived, not only did they replace the entire bed, the delivery guys, Brian, and Alex were amazing, and they showed me how to connect via wi-fi to the headboard speaker and also made sure it worked. We were impressed extremely impressed by these two because not only were they fast, but professional and dedicated as well although we cannot say the same thing about the previous employees we had to deal with regarding our order and a resolution.
During all this time there were approximately 4 to 5 appointments that we had to clear and rearrange our schedule for! This we feel and suspect many clients or potential clients would not be impressed with! I recommend that before you order from these people, do your homework, take care, before you make a purchase. Oh, I forgot, they gave us a $100.00 gift card, let us see if it expires! We do not wish to purchase anything from these people that will bring it over the amount of the amount of the gift card!

Proceed with caution when purchasing merchandise at Raymour & Flanigan. The Protection Plan IS NOT INSURANCE. You are better off shopping next door at Bob's Discount Furniture and using their Goof Proof Plan that includes free delivery. We purchased a sofa that broke within the first year of light use. To our impression, we were lucky to have purchased the Platinum Protection Plan. Once the sofa broke, we immediately contacted R&F to make a claim. They asked us to text them photos of the broken sofa and told us that they would contact us in 48 hours. After being contacted by R&F, we were told that we must enter a showroom during a pandemic within 14 DAYS to select what we would like to use our credit for. We called the Marine Park showroom to begin the reselection process to get a replacement but the sofa was no longer available so we opted for a $550 credit in which we selected a dining room table.
DELIVERY DAY: After paying hundreds of dollars for the delivery again, the delivery men come to deliver the table and mention that they were also scheduled to pick up the sofa. We contact the store to verify this and the manager explains that the only options we have are to
1- allow them to take the broken sofa and drop off the table, or2- leave the broken sofa, receive a check for the difference paid for the table ($600), and lose the $550 credit for the protection plan of the sofa.
I ask that I get transferred to someone who can assist with this but she was adamant in not letting me speak with anyone else and reiterates that she is the manager of the store. At this point we are frustrated because at no point did anyone in this transaction mention that they were going to take the couch with them. If this was the case we would have avoided this whole issue and purchased another couch. When I asked the delivery men what they would do to the broken sofa, they said that it was going to be discarded anyways, and that they should've told us that they were going to pick up the sofa in advance. I am extremely disappointed by this and would like someone from the R&F team to contact me. Disappointed at the quality of their products, disappointed with the customer service we've received from the store, and disappointed at the lack of transparency with the "protection plan".

This may be the absolute worst customer service I've experienced. I ordered a mattress online and decided within 24 hours that I wanted something more plush. I tried live chatting to revise my order... no response. I then tried calling, no response but was told to text or live chat. I tried both avenues, and no response again. I did this for 4 days. At this point I realized that I'd be stuck with the mattress and give it a shot, since I read online that they have a 45 day return policy for mattresses. So great, I'll test it out, if I hate it I'll switch it for something else.
Of course the mattress killed my back/hips. After 9 days I called customer service, and this is where my sheer frustration has gone through the roof. It's now been 6 days of me trying to contact them. I somehow how a hold of one person via phone - she told me 'oh you had to buy a mattress pad in order to get our protection plan'. I explained that I was obviously never told this nor prompted online at checkout. Too bad, oh well. She said that all sales were final and there is nothing they can do. I asked to speak with someone else and was told I'd get a return call the same day... good thing I didn't hold my breath. So back to calling, texting, and live chatting with no response/getting hung up on by their automated system. With the competition of other mattress/furniture companies today, you can absolutely find a similar deal with much, much better customer service. It's not worth your energy.

I had the worst time with ordering online. Waited over four months and they delivered only half my order, never told me anything. Found out I’d half to wait another month and a half for the rest of my order. I went to the store in West Springfield MA and Omar and Mike were very kind and understanding and gave me an even nicer sectional and are talking the other half order out free of charge. They went above and beyond to help me. They turned an awful situation into a happy one!

Lake Grove, NY location. Do not order from this location. They call you that all your pieces of furniture are in (2 months after original delivery date), then when you arrange for pickup, they tell you it is not there. You schedule a 2nd pickup date, are told ALL pieces are in, only to get there and there are 3 of the 4 pieces in, and one is damaged....Their reply "It's on the bottom. Nobody will see". We asked for a refund only to not receive a refund. Good thing my credit card company handled the refund. We have been told this location gives away your furniture to "first come first serve". If someone is missing a piece of the exact same set and they arrive before you, they will take yours and give to them. It appears this happened to us twice since nobody can explain where our missing furniture went the first time, and the piece the second time.

I spend 14k 3 bedrooms set, 8 chairs dining set, 7 pcs living set. They convinced me to purchase insurance. Only to find out the 8 chairs were not new. They were cracked and repaired with different type of hardware and some of them were missing. The technician came. He want to glue the broken parts. I refused. They replaced them but I had to pay again. Not cool. My daughter bedroom the wood frame was crack. The technician came and glue it. Only last it one month. I was not home. That was a loss. My bedroom set had some scratches. The technician said it had to be replace, so I did and I had to pay again the living room set. One of the sectional was ripping apart again. The technician told me it had to be replace. I refuse to pay any more money so I took a loss.
When you go to this showroom and pick the exchange the item is never available or discontinue. So you have no choice to pick a different item in which you will have to pay again. They will charge for a second delivery also. So you pay for insurance coverage for what you would pay for the exchange and delivery again. They become famous from lying and tricking hardworking people. They're are not honest. I will never buy again from them. My review to them is negative stars.

I am very disappointed in the constant delays with getting our furniture delivered, especially since the salesperson bragged about how good Raymour and Flanigan was with delivery times compared to their competition. I should have went to Bob's, and still might eventually cancel my multiple orders with R&M if I get one more delay. Since I have yet to receive my furniture, and who knows when I will, I can't review the actual purchase, although, the price was high compared to other places.

Updated on 03/05/2022: We purchased two Keller Leather power Sofas 14 months ago. They arrived at our home poorly made and assembled. One of the foot rests would not close completely and the stitching was uneven on both couches. We called 15 minutes after the drivers left as soon as we noticed the defects and were told they would send someone to rectify the problem. A guy came a week later took photos and said we would hear back. We waited 1 1/2 weeks and finally called them. They told us the inspector found nothing wrong. We asked them to send someone else and 2 weeks later the same thing happened, This time with an inspector who should never have customer contact concerning his nasty demeanor. We again had to call them back.
A month after our 1 year warranty expired the blue finish began coming off the leather on the headrest. We called and first thing out of them was that the warranty expired. I spoke to Filomena in service and asked about getting it repaired. I was told it would cost me $150 to have someone come to see if it could be repaired (the leather is spray finished and water or dye will not soak into the pelt.) I asked if I could send photos so the repair people could see the damage (I certainly wasn’t going to pay $150 if they couldn’t repair it.) She said yes and sent me a text number to send photos to. I sent the pictures and a week later sent a text to the number. Then I tried calling the number and it wouldn’t accept calls.
I called the service number and spoke to Filomena again and for reasons neither of us understand my photos and texts were not going through she said. She gave me an email address that copied five other people in the Company and I sent the photos again. She told me she got them by texting me back at the number that she told me didn’t work. I received her message and she received my reply. I didn’t hear back 2 weeks later and sent an email asking if they forgot about us. She said the repair guys were outside my area and would look at the photos as soon as they could. I waited another two weeks and hired a leather repair company who came and did an excellent job on the repair. Their company is Leather Medic and can be found on the web. Still haven’t heard back from Raymour and Flanigan even though I sent an email to tell them I took care of the problem myself.
These people are not reliable, competent, or honest and sell items that resemble their showroom items but that are much more poorly manufactured. Once they get your money they couldn’t care less about you. By far the worst company I have ever dealt with. When I think of how much of my time they wasted it makes me angry. If minus 5 stars was selectable that’s what I would give them.
Original: We purchased two identical couches and within ten minutes after the delivery personnel left we discovered that the units were nothing like the sample we saw in the showroom. There was either not enough stuffing or the leather wasn’t properly stretched because after sitting on one for that ten minutes there were butt dents and back distortion that has never gone away. Upon closer inspection one of the recliners was badly installed and doesn’t close all the way, the corners don’t have any stuffing, the seams don’t match up even close, and one of the top headrests is crooked.
We called customer service immediately and they reluctantly sent a guy with a camera out after many calls and two weeks. He was here for maybe ten minutes and agreed with us. When we never heard back we called and left telephone and email messages and they finally responded they found nothing wrong. We returned to the showroom to look at the sample which I am sure gets loads of use and they still looked perfect. No dents and straight and fully filled.
We after several tries got customer service to send someone else out. A different guy came with a camera and he spent no more than three minutes here. Many more messages for the customer service person produced a promise to take the claim to her supervisor. After another week and many more ignored contacts we were informed there was nothing wrong. This whole ordeal was an attempt to wear us down and it worked. These couches were not cheap and we are completely appalled at the horrible way we have been treated. I am sorry I am required to even give them one star. They do not care about their customer.

I purchased a couch and a recliner online from the Farmingdale NY store in Oct. 2020, after it was delivered I discovered that there was a defect on the seat of the couch. I contacted the store and sent them pics of the defect, they said they would replace the couch by the first week of Dec. but 1st week came and went, I contacted them and they said it would deliver it two weeks later, well still no couch.
I called the customer service number but they could not help me because they say it's the vendor's fault, they are waiting for a response from the vendor. I told them I don't want to wait any longer, 2 moths is enough, they said they have to wait for a response from their regional manager, I asked for the regional managers phone number and she wouldn't give to me. I told her that If I don't get a response by next week I will call the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint, she ok go ahead. Terrible customer service, and the couch is already paid for. I was looking for a mattress. Thank God I didn't decide to make another purchase with this despicable company. When they are selling to you they are all nice to you, after the sale Good Luck. Never buy from this store. Do your homework first.

The whole review will not fit so I will sum it up. This is the worst store I have purchased from and I will never shop there again. I would not recommend ANYONE purchase anything from them. I purchased an adjustable base for my daughter's full sized bed specifically because I know that it could be taken apart into 2 pieces and brought up the stairs. Prior to the purchase I asked that specifically and was told yes it's possible and I knew it was because I had purchased the same base 2 years ago in a queen for myself, just from a different location. However from this location what I got was a horrible experience! Their delivery guys are downright rude, obnoxious and LAZY! They refused to bring my $600 adjustable base into the room it was supposed to go into! To the point that they told me "it was on me to get it up into the bedroom" and that "it would take too much of their time to get it up there".
I had no choice but to refuse the delivery as I am a single mother, so how were me and my 12yr old daughter getting it up the stairs! To boot when I went into the store to speak to the manager about the delivery guys their store manager was completely complacent, cut me off mid sentence and had the nerve to tell me it wasn't their job. He then proceeded to tell me that no one that I would order this adjustable base from would get it up into the bedroom! Absolutely not worth the price tag for the headaches you will receive and probably not ever get what you ordered anyways! I ended up going in the next day for a full refund and went to Ashley Furniture, in the next shopping center, to which their store manager 100% guaranteed me that his staff would HAVE NO ISSUES getting an adjustable base up to my child's bedroom whether they had to take it FULLY apart or just in half it didn't matter to them they would absolutely get it up to my child's room!!

I purchased a chest of drawers almost a month ago. Upon them delivering it I noticed it was all marred up so I called and they agreed to switch it out for a new one. Upon delivering the new one yesterday I found that it is worse than the first one having chipped paint and scratches all over it. I tried eight times to get in touch with someone that could do something for me but failed miserably. I finally got a hold of a manager named Tyler and he offered to knock off the delivery fee which is great but bringing a second dresser that is worse than the first is bizarre. Why don't they look at the merchandise before they send it?
It also could be on the delivery people, maybe they're scratching them up. I don't know but they wouldn't give me a refund. Instead they brought me another piece of **. I won't buy anything else from here again and be careful if you order from them online especially. Also the delivery guy was rude to me and hung up the first time they were to bring the exchange and said I refused it. SMH I'm not happy. I don't recommend them.

Ordered in early September and it's now December. Delivery date keeps getting pushed back. No one calls you, you just have to figure it out on your own. If you somehow manage to get someone on the phone by waiting for an hour or two they all give you different estimated shipping dates. You pay upfront and get screwed in the rear. Absolute worst customer service on the face of the earth. Complete trash company. Will never shop there again.

I placed an order in early August 2020 for a bedroom set and living set. I was not told that the bedroom set was a special order but was NOT TOLD that would take 5 months. Instead I was told it would be in the Warehouse in October 2020, I kept calling for updates, kept getting the run around, was told by a sales manager that it would be delivered in about 2 weeks, then was contacted 11/23/20 and was told that the bedroom set would not be in the Warehouse until 1/21/2021. I ordered online from Perkasie and everyone was so nice until they received my money upfront in August.
The manager who called me yesterday from the Perkasie office had no remorse or alternative. I moved in September and I still don't have a bedroom set! I'm so sad and so disappointed. I asked for my money back and his response was ok, I had to ask when will I receive my money back and he was vague about it and ended the call abruptly. I have called several times to speak with someone in corporate and was told that they are not allowed to give out that information. I'm extremely disappointed and still no bedroom set and no solution.

Bought a sofa and loveseat set from Raymour and Flanagan. They told me it would be in the warehouse at the end the week. 6 weeks later I was still waiting for my delivery. When the furniture arrived we accepted it and upon further review realized both pieces were damaged. Called customer service and they told us furniture can't be fixed. Needs to replace it. They sent replacement set about 2 weeks later, worse than the first set. Told customer service we want new from the manufacturer. Items not from stock because they offered it to us on the phone. Customer service was supposed to call back to confirm new order from manufacturer but never did and nobody answers the phone # they gave us to call back on.
Called the store we purchased from and they said it can't be ordered from manufacturer because they don't make it anymore and they will not take it back or offer price reduction for damaged items. We found out who manufactured items and contacted them directly. They stated they make the items for Raymour and Flanagan when they order it so it is available. Store manager LIED. Raymour meanwhile sent another set from stock which never even came off the truck. It was so bad. After this bad set and fighting Raymour with the truth they finally admitted that they could order it new from manufacturer but it would take 4-6 weeks.
Finally 6 months from initial purchase the new furniture arrived in perfect condition. Raymour had discontinued the set of furniture we purchased and we believe they were sending us pieces they had taken off the sales floor or as closeout items. Thats how badly damaged the pieces were. When they delivered the new pieces they took back the old one and one of the loveseat legs fell off in the delivery man's hand. It had been broken and glued onto the bolt holding it to the loveseat.
Horrible experience, Garden City store managers the worst. They don't return calls and lie through their teeth. I called the salesman who we used for all our purchases. We have 2 houses and my kids both just bought apts. that were furnished with Raymour, even he didn't call back. The customer service girls in the store very helpful and polite I must say, but they don't solve problems. Just deal with angry customers. I do give them a lot of credit. While the shopping experience was great, getting your furniture from them..not so great. We shopped our furniture from them early August and they didn't have everything from the bedroom set we wanted in stock but we made the mistake of saying, well we already have a bed we rent in a hurry. We bought a bedroom set that they said would be in stock early to mid September. We spent over 4K buying the bedroom set with the mattress.
Mid September I call them to get and update and they say, end of September. October 1st I call again and they say probably October 6th. I said it better be then because your website says January now and if I call October 7th and you tell me a single day later for the arrival of the furniture and do not schedule the delivery, I am cancelling my order and shopping somewhere where they can deliver on their promise. Paying over 4k for something that you wont have for months is ridiculous.
A day later they call me back to schedule the delivery and schedule for Wednesday October 14th between 8-11. We spent the whole weekend before getting rid of our bed and preparing the area for the whole set. We even took the Monday before off as we knew it would be lot of work preparing the bedroom for the delivery and didn't want to spend 24/7 of the weekend for that. We put our mattress on the floor, got rid of our old nightstands...made sure the bedroom would be completely empty.
Come Wednesday morning, I get a call assuming it would be the delivery driver, only to be told that the foot of the bed arrived that day damaged and if I wanted they could deliver the rest of the set and I could wait for the bed to arrive. I responded no, because if they did that, I would have to wait for the bed which could be months to arrive. If they don't sort it out immediately, I'm cancelling my order. So, be warned if you shop there, while the shopping experience may be great, the after sales support is terrible. Now I'm waiting to hear back so I'm warning you here, Yelp and filing with the Better Business Bureau so people know what to expect.

Worst company, I will never purchase anything from them again... Between service and management they are unorganized and not professional! Purchased a bed and we had to have a service call after only 3 months, the electrical box broke and needed to be replaced... We waited 3 weeks without a call, then I called and the receptionist said I needed to find the bar code number??? What??? And the worst part is they don’t care... They only care when they make a sale.... Plenty of other companies to buy from!

We had a delivery date set so we got rid of our bedroom set. 20 minutes before the delivery time they canceled and said there was a part missing. How could they find this out 20 minutes before our scheduled delivery time is beyond believable. 6 weeks later still no furniture. Never again will we buy from Raymour and Flanigan. Worse experience ever, we have been lied to from the salesman to employees to managers to delivery people. I gave them 1 star even though they don't deserve that.

I told her I had the model number and wanted to buy the bed screws based on 4 models I had seen in their Ocean, NJ store. Found a leather repair place, sent them pictures. they said they cannot make repairs as it is NOT leather. Looked at my original invoice. No mention of brand of sofa and no mention of leather. We will never buy anything again from Raymour & Flanigan. They don’t stand behind their protection policy. We bought an outdoor patio set spending $2500. Now the important word is OUTDOOR. We had an horrific rain storm last Thursday in the middle of the night. The seat cushions were on the chairs. It took 7 days in direct 100 plus degrees for each cushion to get fully dried. After 5 days in the direct heat of over 100 degrees, we brought in one cushion which was still soaking wet to our local Raymour & Flanigan store in north Brunswick Nj. Customer service called the manager over. We showed him the still soaked pillow saying this is a sample of the what the other 5 CUSHIONS are like and we want all six pillows replaced as it’s impossible for outdoor pillows to take this long to dry out.
He said there was nothing he could do but send a note to the person above him. The main customer service center called us 2 DAYS LATER saying this isn’t covered under their protection plan since there’s nothing wrong with their pillows. We again explained the pillows were still soaked after 5 days being out in the direct sun and over 100 degrees. AND we felt the pillows stuffing inside was defective. Raymour & Flanigan said they Won't replace the 6 cushions claiming there isn't anything wrong with them and therefore, not covered under their protection policy. Therefore we will never buy anything from them and don't recommend anyone else buying from them either.

I have been a R&F customer for many years. I recently ordered a desk and a bookcase, since I'm now required to teach from my house. The website said the pieces were "factory stock" and would ship in "2-3 days." I ordered in the third week of April. After several weeks with no notification that either piece had shipped, I tried using the chat feature on the website. I waited for over an hour and no agent ever showed up. I called the number and was told I would get a call back in about 30 minutes. Two hours later, I finally got a call.
The rep told me my pieces would not be shipping anytime soon. They said they were having issues because of the "virus problem." I told them the website didn't have any updated information about delays or issues stemming from the outbreak, and I pointed out that my pieces were labeled as factory stock and were to be shipped in 2-3 days. The rep told me my pieces were not shipping in that time frame and said they might arrive in the next month or so. It is now mid-May and only the bookcase arrived.
After another call, I am told the desk won't be here for another month. When I told them I was not happy about the complete lack of communication (not a single email from them with any shipping info, including anything about delays like most other sites are doing), they offered a $25 gift card to me. This is useless, because I will not purchase another item from them again. Their complete lack of communication about the reality of their shipping issues, plus the flat-out lies on their website about how long things will actually take (2-3 days instead of the two months it actually takes) have turned me into a non-customer. I would much rather support a business that communicates with its customers, especially at a time of global pandemic. Save your money, time, and frustration and shop elsewhere.

I cannot even begin to describe the disappointment I have in Raymour & Flanigan! I will never recommend any friends or family to purchase furniture from them. I purchased a sectional couch a few years ago and purchased the extended warranty with it on the couch being assured by the salesman that anything would be covered - I read through the contract word for word what was and wasn’t covered. Rips and tears are covered.
Fast forward to now, my couch had several tears in them so I started a claim. I was asked to send photos so the technician didn’t waste his time coming to my house to inspect the couch so I sent photos. I was then advised that the repairs are unrepairable and that it would be sent to the warranty company. The woman Tammy in customer service was so quick to help us and then her entire attitude changed because they didn’t want to cover anything! I was asked for more pictures again because whatever I sent wasn’t good enough. Then she has the audacity to tell me that they are wear and tear spots when clearly they are ripped. I got interrogated asking me how they happened? How on earth am I supposed to know or remember when I have had a lot of personal family things going on as well as personal medical things.
It’s amazing how her attitude changed completely because they don’t stand by their product let alone they don’t cover anything that is on the extended warranty they scam you into buying. I will let everyone know to not buy or waste their money on the extended warranty because it’s a scam! Raymour will do anything to not cover your furniture.
After the thousands of dollars spent at this store this is how you treat a customer?!?! I have to live with a couch literally torn apart because of the horrible customer service and a waste of money spent on an extended warranty I was sucked into buying. They don’t and will not seek to replace anything nor really care at all. She just tried pointing fingers at me and tried to blame me that it was wear and tear. The credit company stated that it was the store that had requested that type of card even though I mentioned several times that I would like to take the 6 months interest free for this large purchase. I went to the store and thought I had fixed this, but nothing had happened. Good thing I did not purchase more for I would have had to pay a high amount in interest till the card was paid off.
To make my point make sure it does not happen to you otherwise it will be a tough time paying that amount in time. If you don’t imagine all the interest, you would have to pay. First we purchased a queen firm tempurpedic, however this was really uncomfortable for both my husband and myself. After having it for two weeks we decided to take it back, this is where the insanity begins. The manager tells us we can’t return it until after 30 days of sleeping on it or we would lose $600 off the price we paid for it. They advertise a 30 day return policy but it is not for the benefit of the consumer. It is for the company. We decided to stick it out for the additional days and not take the hit on the price.
We select the new mattress and base only to learn that it’s the insurance protection that I purchased on the mattress and base was used to do the return and that on the new items I would no longer have insurance, So when they advertise 30 days return they are doing you no favors. It’s coming out of your pocket. Then things get even better, the next day the workers come and pick up the old bed without bringing the replacement, they state another truck is bringing it that day. We wait.. it gets to 4pm. No call no delivery. I call the store- there is no delivery coming, it was cancelled.
I ENDED UP SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR after spending over $3000. I spoke to the store manager called customer service and got a run around. There was a glitch in the system is all I was given as an explanation. Things happen but this company has a complete disregard for their customers and am still waiting to get satisfaction from them. Photos of the damage were taken on 7/30/19 and we contacted R & F to report the damage since the delivery drivers never mentioned it to anyone. R & F proceeded to send out inspectors to the property to survey the situation a few days later. The drivers admitted to the delivery supervisor that they damaged the house. We then received an email from the delivery supervisor.
On 7/31/19 we received that email from Donald ** (delivery supervisor) stating “Please let me know when you get an estimate from your contractor and we will move forward with getting repairs taken care of. I will also get with my supervisor and keep him informed”. Based upon that email it’s obvious that they have admitted they caused the damage and are going to pay. However, after almost one month, I sent an email R & F to find out why we hadn’t heard from anyone to remedy the situation even though an invoice for the repairs was sent prior. It turns out that the drivers were confused. They said they had damaged a different house and told the delivery supervisor the same. That seems to be their story and they’re sticking to it. As of today, they are denying that it’s their fault and are refusing to pay. We will see them in court with that email.

I have been purchasing from Raymour for years and years. I have furnished my entire home with Raymour furniture. I have a beautiful dark brown sectional with reclining chairs that I purchased in 2013. When shortly after receiving the furniture, I noticed a white patch come through the back of the sofa. I thought maybe one of the kids got something on it. In the past 6 months, little by little these patches have been coming out on the furniture. They are not where you sit, they are on the back of the couches and by the feet and legs of the couch. They are not stains, they appear to be some sort of material defect coming from the inside.
I contacted Raymour and sent them many pictures. They said it was stained and no longer under warranty. I get that it's not under warranty, but I believe it is a defect in the material. They wanted to charge me $75 just to come out and look at it. I am very disappointed in the customer service I received and will reconsider going to them again to purchase furniture.

I had purchased sofa set with protection plan from its store in Woodbridge, NJ in late 2018. Initially, I noticed feathers lying in the ground and I didn't realize it is from couch. Over period of time, I have also started experiencing back ache because of the firmness and couch material. It is then, I noticed bunch of feathers on the sides of the couch.
1) I went to the store to raise the concern and to my dismay salesperson not even listened to issue, informed me to call customer service (though there is one in store) and was only focused to sell his products. 2) Their technician though came to inspect and acknowledged the issue and took pictures about the state of couch, feathers etc. 3) When followed-up with store's customer service, they informed store manager is not there and will be reaching me within 48 hours. There was no call from store for 72 hours and when I followed up, I was told to reach out primary protection team.
4) Primary protection team informed me to reach out servicing team, as it is less than year of purchase and per them, only items which are broken are considered as defect and usability issues, experience of feather wearing out daily, firmness/material doesn't consider as defect/issues. 5) When reached out to store customer service again, I could clearly listen the agent stating, “I have an annoying customer over the phone,” and not even listening to my concern and informed that store manager will call me back after 48 hours. 6) A week passed by and there was no call yet from store or customer service.
7) To further worsen the state, primary protection team closed the ticket in their internal system stating that they had discussed with me on Sunday, which is a false statement. This I learnt when I had called customer service again requesting the current status in their system. I definitely would not recommend Raymour & Flanigan for their customer experience. Their primary focus is sales and not customer experience.

On the day of delivery we called to find out why we hadn't received a call to let us know what time they would be arriving. We were told they scheduled us for the following week. Since my husband had to take off work for this appt, and we planned to have family up for the first time to see our new house, a dining room table is pretty necessary. We are now having a large group of people up that are going to have to sit on the couch, floor, or stand, in order to have a multi-course dinner. They refunded us some money, but that really doesn't make it better considering our inconvenience this weekend, as well as having to take off a second day of work. I'm furious.

Very disappointed in this company. Actually I am shocked. Purchased a leather sectional. Total amount paid $3805.94. Ok on the day of delivery which was 7/15/2019 the delivery guy broke the rim to entrance of my glass sliding door then they delivered 2 damaged pieces. One had a big gash all the way down to the grain of the leather. The other part of the sofa had 2 indents on it. After countless amount of phone calls they said they would send out a contractor to fix the door. As of date my door is still broken. The damaged pieces they finally delivered it. Guess what? The part they gave me was also damaged and looked worn and had a rip in the leather.
Today I get a call telling me that the part is no longer in stock and I can keep this one for 150.00 off for pick out a new sectional. Really. Well I think I'll see you in court. This is ridiculous. 4000 spent and all I got was a broken glass sliding door and damaged pieces of sofa. I am going to take Raymour & Flanigan to small claim court. You have a hell of a nerve. The worse 4000.000 ever spent ruined my life.

When this was assembled the bed is almost 3 ft. from the ground. I am 69 years old and am not capable of climbing in and out of this bed. On Raymour and Flanigan's own site there is a question asking "Can this product be used with a storage bed and if so, will it adjust to fit any queen size bed? Carole ** on Nov 29, 2016 BEST ANSWER: "The Freestyle Queen Adjustable Base would not work with a storage bed. It will accommodate most queen size beds. For assistance on specific choices, please contact Online Sales at 866-383-4484, option 3." The above quotation was copied from Raymour and Flanigan's site which is proof that the salesman and store should have known not to sell this bed with this adjustable frame. I would have changed the bed and headboard so I could use the bed.
I called the 800 number that they gave and was told they could not do anything but to call the store and see if they can. Also told once I sign on the dotted line there is nothing they can do. The store refused to exchange the bed or offer any acceptable solution. This bed should not have been sold with this adjustable base. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!!!

Customer Code: **. Ticket Number: **. Around May 7th I received all of my furniture. While looking, I notice below issues and also notify delivery man that two of my bedroom furniture have following issues:
2) Queen Book case SKU-500422150 – Over heads light never turnoff (Part number TD101 – E493940).
3) Nightstand – SKU-515422157 – Missing Phone charging station.
Deliveryman notify his supervisor and he told me someone from Raymour and fix all this issue and he left. Since it was not promising, I called store and they said same thing that, "Someone will call you and schedule an appointment." Finally, after 10 days a guy came. He took pictures of Somerset Furniture night stand, bottom drawer wood is swallow and looked at other two issues. He made a report and said, "Someone will call you for replacement."
Since then no one has even bother to call. In fact I am calling every week too and I am hearing same story that "parts are here" and it is under inspection. Once of the customer service representative told me some time it takes over six months to get the parts from supplier. So, I told them, "Do you even realized that I got this furniture like this? It’s not my fault. Why can’t you replace? Why do I have to suffer?" She said, "We don’t offer replacement." After several attempt finally I called store two days ago 06/16 and lady who spoke to me said, "Someone will call you for sure and your issues will be resolved soon." It’s been over two days and I am still waiting for the call. I must say I have seen bad customer service but this is worst. It feels like once furniture is at customer’s home that’s it. In 2015, we purchased a dining room table and six chairs. During our visit, we were told that the Platinum Plan was superior. My husband and I were skeptical and the salesperson explained that if anything happens, water damage, spilled paint, even scratches were covered. Going as far as to say that there’s nothing they can’t and won’t repair or replace. So, we bought the coverage.
After only a month or so, my young daughter spilled some water and either didn’t realize it or failed to tell us and over the course of maybe an hour...it was discovered and I used paper towels to wipe it up. I felt a huge bubbled up spot. I was devastated and surprised because a well made table should not have bubbled like that. I called RF and was told that because I was late on my payment that I couldn’t file a claim. I certainly agree with that and the rep told me that I had until February of 2020 to make the claim.
Let me just say, my husband suffered a broken ankle on the job and suffered a loss at work for 8 weeks, so I fell behind a bit in my bills. It also didn’t help that he suffered a heart attack in the same year and so, I remained late on many of our obligations. I chatted a couple times with a Platinum Plan Rep on the RF website and each time, they’d tell me the same thing, that as soon as I got caught up I could make a claim and reiterated my February of 2020 deadline. I finally paid the furniture off. Made a claim. First, they did not call the correct cell number to set up appointment so the tech showed up today, unannounced. Spent maybe 2 minutes, and took a pic or two and said someone would call me with my options.
Not long after, I received a call (this time on the correct phone number) and message from Shawna who said that they will not cover the table due to it being what the tech says is accumulated overtime water damage. I called back to disagree and spoke with Linda. She said that when the tech gives them the pics, they’ll call me back. So, they haven’t even seen the pics and made a determination of coverage? This table was waaaay too expensive to have incurred such terrible damage in a short period of an hour. Also, the veneer is peeling at the edges of where the leaf is and we don’t take the leaf in and out, at all.
So, yes, the description was pretty when the plan was being pushed on us. Now that they have our money, the plan is pretty ugly. If you read the layout of what their plan covers, it covers my issue. I intend to take my voice to social media and forewarn the potential RF customers to think twice before purchasing the Platinum Plan. I will also be contacting an attorney.

I purchased the Platinum Protection Plan so I felt I would be covered. A technician came out to my home with a 2 foot piece of plywood to reinforce an 8 foot long broken section of the frame. I thought they would at least replace the broken 8 foot board. I told the technician I did not want this “piece-mealed” repair. He explained he would have to “report me as refusing service”.
I didn’t refuse service, I just didn’t want this unacceptable repair. He said he would leave and someone from Customer Care would call me back. I called the store and asked to speak to someone about my options. I preferred replacement of the couch or come pick it up and give me my money back. We went to Raymour to purchase a Sofa and two Chairs and wound up adding a Tempur-pedic bed and adjustable frame. Let me start by saying the salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful from the very beginning and has always been supportive assisting us. My issue is with the management at the store. We paid over 12 thousand dollars in furniture purchased over friends and family to save some money. The mattress we were told was excluded from this sale and at full price which we agreed to (we were told they never go on sale). It came with one free pillow and we negotiated for another free one based on what we paid overall and they were gracious to extend it to us.
On the day of delivery there was no problem with the couches, but the bed delivered was a medium mattress and not the firm we ordered. They claimed it was the correct SKU but when we called the store the salesman assisted us and confirmed they sent the wrong mattress and they had no issue with making another delivery date to bring us the correct one while we kept the wrong one. (Apparently they had picked the incorrect mattress with the correct sku). The new mattress came the next day and all seemed fine, but we realized that the frame did not have the features we ordered (no bluetooth and no under bed light, in addition anti snore and zero gravity buttons did not work). Another call to the salesman and two days of putzing around with customer care and they ordered us a new frame to be delivered in a few days.
In the meantime the mattress went on sale for 300 dollars less than the... never goes on sale price. I called into the Customer care and everything has to funnel through the salesman, who graciously represented us to get them to honor their price protection agreement. At that point the mgt insisted I that because received a free pillow they felt it was a wash, to which I argued back and forth the pillow has nothing to do with them keeping their price guarantee policy. After three days of back and forth I told the salesman to take everything back if they can't honor their guarantee. The next call I received was that they would credit my account the difference. In the meantime the delivery men showed up with another mattress instead of a frame. I had them look at the frame in my room first and they agreed it was the correct SKU but not the correct frame.
Back on the phone with the salesman and mgmt where I was assured they were sending the correct frame in the next 2 days as it was coming from a distance. I asked them to make sure the features I paid for were on it and working. Delivery number 4 arrives and before they take it off the truck we check the frame. Same SKU that indicates it has those features but no features working. I had the delivery guys take it out of the box in my driveway and test it and they could not get the light to work or find the bluetooth or the features of anti-snore and zero gravity. The instructions showed a different bed than the SKU was as well. After much back and forth, they checked their stock and found other frames with this sku in the same condition.
They claim the manufacturer goofed and they have to go back and get a fix. In the meantime they asked us to wait as much as 3 months for a fix or we could choose to upgrade to another model for 300 dollars more. The other model has the same features but is a split king instead of a two piece head and foot king. I have been back and forth with Management and customer care. We said we would wait but I want to know why after all the money we spent and 4 failed deliveries they don't do the right thing and give me the other frame instead of inconveniencing us again. I think we went through enough.
Supposedly Management is discussing what they will do for a week days now while we wait to be inconvienenced yet again.. This is how Raymour treats its customers? Good paying customers at that. This is not only bait and switch tactics, but dishonest at its best. The salesman is great, but they won't be getting any more business from me or referrals. I will also be writing to the president of the company about this.

I have had a bad back for years. My mattress caved in and was impossible to sleep on. I went to Raymour & Flanigan because I know a saleswoman there. I brought a friend with me and I tried several mattresses. It had to be a fairly firm mattress to accommodate my back. I tried several and settled on a Beauty Rest. I did not purchase one of their mattress covers because I had one (If you purchase their mattress it gives you a 45 day option to return the bed) FYI.. Jordans Furniture and Mattress firm do not have any conditions re returns due to any dissatisfaction.
I thought, 'Who would ever return a bed" and my mattress cover was in perfect condition. They deliver the bed the next day. I immediately put on the mattress cover along with all my bed covers. I slept in the bed for a couple of nights, and I woke up feeling like I was 90 years old, I could barely walk. I called the saleswoman, stating how terrible this bed was, and she said it was probably a defective mattress, call the company. I called and a service person would be out in 2 weeks. I complained because I needed a decent bed. It did not help, I had to wait 2 weeks. So I made a bed out of quilts and comforters on the floor of my bedroom, I could not sleep on the mattress. Service guy comes out in 2 weeks, and states that the bed is fine. I got a call from the store stating that my bed was ok. I said, "It was not ok," and they told me I needed to talk with a manager.
To make this very long story short, I figured out, with the help of my friend who was with me, that the mattress that was delivered, was not the mattress I choose. I did not choose a mattress with a 4-5 inch pillow top. I did not choose a mattress that sunk in several inches when you sit on it. I can not have a soft bed due to my back. We went back to the store to find the mattress that I had chosen, and was told that all the mattresses had been removed and changed. The sale woman ignored me, the manager listened and rolled his eyes, obviously he did not believe me. He said he would call corporate and get back to me....and of course, he did not. When I thought I had found the mattress I choose, manager told me that that particular mattress was discontinued. Really???? Is that why I did not receive the mattress I chose?
Surely a mistake was made somewhere, and they delivered the wrong bed, but no one seemed to care. They kept stating that I did not buy a mattress cover from them, therefore, there was nothing they could do.... It's been 2 months and I am still sleeping on the floor. The mattress cost me $1000. All I want, is the mattress I choose. That's all. Can not believe a store would do this to me or anyone. Signed, Linda ** Waterford, Connecticut.

Terrible experience - Almost as if this is their 1st time in the business! What a joke this new store is at the RI Mall. We went in to purchase a mattress and adjustable base. While the sales associate was very nice, she clearly lacked appropriate training. When I asked about the warranty on the base, I was told "10 uh 20 years". Oh well, she wasn't trained properly. After making the purchase - a king mattress, adjustable base and pillow ($99 pillow on sale for $75), things didn't go well. We scheduled our delivery for a Sunday, received a call on the Friday night confirming a Saturday delivery. Had to remind them it was originally scheduled for the Sunday.
Delivery showed up late on the Sunday - delivery employees were nice, but sloppy. Marked up the staircase walls; thank God for Magic Erasers! Base was assembled and mattress was put on the base. Wait, what...no remote??? Delivery person said not to worry, remote would be dropped off later that day. Guess what - remote never delivered. We called the store on Monday and reported that we needed a remote. We were told that the store would contact the delivery folks/other store and have one out to us. We never received that remote... Called the store the following week and complained.
In the meantime, we received our invoice and see that we were charged full price for the pillow. Store customer care person said to come to the store, they would fix the bill and also give us a new remote. When I arrived, I was greeted nicely, and the customer care folks fixed the bill. One of the managers brought me out a used remote to keep. I asked if it was a new remote, he said it was "almost new". I explained that I wanted a new remote and that I had paid for a new remote. He said when the replacement remote arrives, I could come get that one and give the used one back. This was 2 weeks ago - still waiting on a call. Hopefully they didn't sneak me an almost new mattress! Oh well, we gave them a shot in their new store. Intimately, the experience was very disappointing. I would recommend going elsewhere for furniture - they've lost me as a repeat customer.
** Update as of 3/25/19 - received our bill in the mail. Pillow is still being charged at $99 - had to call and complain again. Received a call this AM letting me know that it has been corrected. Now the material to cover the wood has peeling which is not covered under the Platinum Protection Plan. However If I spill coffee on the material they will replace it. NEVER BUY FROM RAYMOUR & FLANIGAN.

I rented an adjustable bed and a queen size mattress from Raymour & Flanigan. After a couple of months I felt very uncomfortable. It felt like something popped. I thought it was just in my mind but as I slept on it I kept but how do you say in the middle of the bed I kept switching it around. It always stays on one side. You can't flip it on the other side. I have seriously arthritis all through my body, my neck, my shoulders, my back, both hips, knees, in my hand and I told them so they sent out and Chester I guess that's what they call it with a metal light stick. He laid it across my bed and made a determination. Like that I paid over $1,500 just want to be treated this way and now I have to put a pillow in the middle of that hole so I don't fall in because I can't get out in the morning. I cry every day and every night and they told me to call back and 6 months.
How do they expect me to sleep on that bed any longer and how could that one piece of metal determine the way I slept at night. I felt I was treated wrongfully for all the money for all the money I so every night I'm scared to go to bed because I'm going to fall in that hole and I'm going to be in excruciating pain. I need someone to help me. Please I am on disability. I really couldn't afford that mattress but I should have never been treated this way. I despise the way I was treated. I would never recommend this store to anyone and until they fix this problem I will never shut my mouth and soon I will get a lawyer because no one deserves to sleep like bit yours truly about money.

I would give them 0 stars if possible. The salesman (Tom) in the King of Prussia store said that they had a special payment offer that we could pay in full in 45 days with no interest. We received a Raymour & Flanigan credit card that we had not requested and then a billing on the credit card with a payment due 33 days after the purchase and an interest rate of 29.99%. After getting no help from the credit card "customer service", I went back to the store. The store manager said "It is only 12 days early, what are you complaining about?" I told him that it was not what I was told and he said that I should just pay the full amount by the due date.
Since it was less than 30 days following the purchase, I said that I wanted to return everything as the salesman stated I could do. The manager then told me that I could not return the adjustable base and he could only give me a store credit for the mattress that I could use on a different mattress. Once again, not what my wife and I were told at the time of the purchase. They apparently will tell you any number of lies to get you to purchase their products and give you a hard time and no attempt to try to work with you afterwards to even come close to honoring the statements made at time of sale. Don't even go into one of their stores.

Product and store really zero stars just had to rate one to submit review! I purchased a bed $810.30 from Raymour & Flanigan 2/24/2019, Tara the salesperson failed to mention that if the expensive waterproof cover was not purchased then the bed could not be returned or covered by the 45 day guarantee. The store pulled, tagged and delivered the wrong bed with my name on it. After the delivery I found some additional alarming tags, a bright orange tag labeled HOT!!! And a small blue tag with another customers name on it, the bed was the wrong size as well. I called immediately and sent photos to a someone at the store of the bed (still wrapped) and set up a time for the next day for an exchange.
The next few days with delivery were horrifying, the delivery people kept coming to my house way outside of the delivery window and even though I spoke with them prior to coming they would still come too early and left with not call me back. I contacted the store every day and never received callback. At one point I called and spoke to Daniel who told me there was nothing he could do for me, and that I am not there during the delivery time frame and they even offered to wait 45 minutes, which is a lie (I have recorded phone call of a driver coming too early). Daniel not only told me there was nothing he could do for me but that he could not cancel my order per my request at that point, because the bed had been delivered. (They still had not delivered my bed. They delivered the wrong product.) And Daniel hung up on me.
I called corporate and reported the experience, I spoke to April a manager the next day who denied my request to cancel my order because the bed is delivered (they still had not delivered my new purchased bed or picked up the wrong one). Eventually days later I received an exchange and the bed I received is hard as concrete, not at all like the showrooms we tried. I have called the store and corporate several times even crying once because I have had a migraine and body hurts every day from the bed so my daughter and I do not sleep on it anymore. No word from corporate.

I called the store (Exton, PA) and they told me they were sending the technician to re-stuff the cushion! I said that's all well and good since we are still in the warranty timeframe, but what if it happens again? They said you will have to pay for the service!! The guy comes and unzips the cushion and literally just stuffs it with fiber-fil! The kicker... He stuffed it more than the other one! I told customer service that this was ridiculous for such an expensive sofa and the woman argued with me. So much for the customer is always right! She didn't seem surprised that the furniture was sub-par. Bottom line, we are stuck with this defective, cheaply made sofa. We will never shop there again!!

Contacted them and for some reason the representative could not comprehend the reason for the complaint. Said to give her to the end of day (Friday) and she would contact me Saturday. That did not happen.

In May 2018 my husband and I purchased all of our furniture for our new home through Raymour & Flanigan. 9 months later, our dining room set's finish began to wear off. As this furniture was not cheap, we were very disappointed and are anticipating the other chairs and our matching server to soon have the same issue. As it was under warranty, we called to have the furniture exchanged. Upon reading recent reviews of the same dining set, there were several other customers with the same issue.
We were told that we could only exchange the table and not the chairs or server because there was not yet damage, and if we were to exchange the server we would have to pay $97 to re-stock it, and if they took the chairs they would use our platinum protection plan, even though the issue is a defect in their finish and not something on our part. We needed a day to think of our options and ended up decided to just exchange the table for the same one. After playing phone tag for about a week, we were then told that the table was no longer available as it was no longer being produced. So what I gather is R&F clearly knows this piece has a defect and should be recalled but will not admit that to the customers.
Beyond that, after speaking with MANY different customer care representatives (who all had different stories) we were told there were still 17 tables in the warehouse. I left work early to be home for the delivery and when they came they only brought the top of the table and attached it to my damaged base! This was on Sunday, and when I called customer service they were confused as to what happened and said they would call back.
Well, I called today and now the manager is trying to say I NEVER told them the base was damaged, even though a tech was here who took pics and I had emailed some as well. Oh, and the manager tried to argue with me saying that what I was saying was not true throughout the entire phone call. Also, We were referred back to the "Randolph customer care" each time we called (over 5x) who NEVER answers - it's literally a merry-go-round circus. I guess the customer ISN'T always right at Raymour & Flanigan. Next time, I will purchase quality furniture from a company who cares about customer satisfaction.

I am highly disappointed on the platinum coverage with Raymour & Flannigan. My husband and I opted for the platinum package to have a peace of mind on the investment we made 3 years ago. Not knowing the coverage or warranty is all a scam and a waste of money. I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of Raymour's leather pieces for the price I paid the Leather set should have lasted more than 3 years in great shape. The color on all 3 leather pieces is fading, chipping, peeling just horrible and unacceptable from the reputable Raymour & Flannigan furniture store.
Please be advised I will be filing a complaint to BBB and on yelp to alert all prospective customers of the scam on the platinum coverage and the quality of the leather products. I really thought purchasing from Raymour & Flanigan was a good investment and wouldn't have the need to replace for several years but I was very wrong. I really expected a lot more from Raymour and Flanigan as advertised on TV and Website.
After all the money my spouse spent on the leather living room set and the platinum coverage now I have to get all of it replaced within 3 years of purchase. This is very unfair and Raymour should send someone out to take a look at the condition of my furniture and reimburse or give me credit to replace my purchase under the platinum coverage plan. All the customers should know that Raymour & Flanigan does not have the best leather furniture out there. People don't be fooled by the name of the furniture store and waste your money on buying from them. They do not stand behind their name and coverage policy. This is totally unacceptable.

It just collapsed and could not support the mattress. I contacted R&F and they sent out a technician to look at it before a replacement box spring could be sent. I thought for sure they would replace the box spring since it was under a year and sat on the high end frame they sell. The technician agreed that the box spring was defective and that it would be replaced. I received a call from their customer support saying that it wasn’t defective and therefore not replaceable under the warranty. I told her that the tech told me it was defective and would be replaced. The rep said the tech told her it wasn’t defective. I felt scammed and had no other recourse than to contact the maker of the bed, Sealy.
Sealy told me that standard procedure is for R&F to take care of the warranty from their end, but since they refused to, then they would take care of the warranty issue for me. They advised me to take pictures along with proof of purchase and email it to Sealy. After two days, I received an email from Sealy telling me the mattress was defective and that they were sending me a replacement. Also, they said that R&F was definitely in the wrong for how they handled my warranty problem.
I will be writing the R&F corporate office tomorrow and giving them the name of the customer rep who handled my claim in such an underhanded manner. I returned home and decided to make the purchase from Raymour and Flannigan. I went online and ordered the couch that I had sat on in the store in the color I wanted. The couch arrived on 12/18. I immediately called attention to the fact that it was not wrapped in plastic and was dusty and had hair and lint on it. The deliveryman said "once it's in your house, it's yours. No returns."
I called Raymour and Flanigan in Farmingdale (as the deliverymen ran from my home) and was told that since I purchased online there was nothing they could help me with. I called the corporate number and was told 'no returns'. I am perplexed. The couch is a sectional that does NOT connect so the pieces float around as if they are two separate couches. The back of the couch is bowed and warped and the seat is all depressed and broken. Such a piece of junk.
I continued to call Raymour every day until they sent a technician. The technician told me that the warped back of the couch, the fact that the sectional arrived filthy, and the fact that it doesn't connect are all part of the couch being cheap and poorly made BUT since there was no defect, it's mine, no returns. I want my money back and the couch removed from my home. I have been offered $800 (I paid over $1300) for the couch from Raymour because they have acknowledged that the couch is poorly made. I had recently (10 days prior) had an emergency c section and was staying with my in laws 40 minutes away so I told them I would drive up immediately and to wait.
I rushed there to find that they had the landscaper accept the delivery — left all of the furniture in one room, blocking the entrance and left the legs off the table! After calling multiple times to get the issue addressed, they told me they would exchange the bed. I received no further communication from them or even a time frame of when to expect the replacement, so we disposed of the broken frame, as we live in an apartment and it was a safety hazard.
When they brought the bed, they chastised me for not having the previous bed and left, despite receiving no indication that it was required. After resolving this and getting things cleared up, the company delivered the product again on the agreed upon date. However, despite having the product within their possession for over a week, as well has having loaded it up, trucked it, taken it off the truck, and loaded it again, it was discovered that the product was missing hardware essential to the integrity its usage. While they contacted the warehouse for further instructions, it was said that because it was listed as an "just an exchange" that the delivery crew didn't pay quite as much attention to the instructions as usual, despite it being flagged as a priority by corporate.
After that discussion, they removed the frame, loaded it back on the truck, and took it away. I called corporate and spoke with a manager who informed me that because of the oversight, they would have to re-order the frame from the manufacturer. They got the new frame in and were supposed to deliver it today, however despite talking to multiple managers and being told that this was being flagged as a priority, the delivery team was under the impression that we had the old bed and expected to use parts of it to assemble the new bed. So, for the 3rd time in two weeks, they drove off with my purchase. This, along with the lack of communication with the delivery group regarding what the expectation was for the item and their lack of care regarding the products is inexcusable.

They would not give a time window other than saying it could be any time during the day. The day was today. I waited the whole day, and nobody arrived. No phone call or email either. So, when I called customer service again, they said the technician called but nobody answered the phone. That is totally untrue.
There is something called phone record, and it doesn't show any number that I missed today. I told him that, and he said he couldn't speculate on what happened, but he had to take the technician's words for it, basically implying that I am a liar. I asked why he could not just connect me by phone, and he said that he doesn't have their phone number. Then he disconnected the phone. I have never experienced such horrible customer service before. First of all, when you buy a piece of furniture paying more than fifteen hundred bucks, you don't expect something to break immediately. And, then when it breaks, you expect the company to be responsive in taking care of the problem instead of giving the customer a runaround. I am deeply dissatisfied, and I hope these guys know what they are doing is wrong.

I recently made a purchase online and selected a 0% interest financing option over 12 months. I received the couch and love it. Unfortunately I chose to finance through the ancient financing group that is Raymour & Flanigan. It took weeks to finally get my credit card/account number so I could enroll in the online system. After attempting several enrollments with the assistance of customer service on the phone and being unable to set up my account, I made a one time payment for the entire couch on the spot. The frustration I have with the inability to simply create an online account cost me an upfront $3k. I will not recommend them going forward and they can feel free to close my current credit line which after today is paid off entirely. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Sales were fine, trouble is with service. I had 4 visits to my home and each time the noise/problem became worse. I asked for the replacement and was given a very hard time. Eventually, they (Gail) agreed to refund towards a new love seat. I was told that because service would not admit to this broken piece of furniture they refused to write the Platinum insurance plan on the new one purchase (almost double the cost.) After reading the terrible reviews and similar issues I felt I needed this insurance. They refused at Corp. offices (Bianca). Due to this episode and the time I (disabled Vietnam veteran 100%) will not buy from a company like this and will go with better companies on ConsumerAffairs.

I am not sure what is worse, the quality of the furniture or the store customer service! On September 4, 2018 I bought a bedroom set for my son and an office set. I spent about $3000. To save money I picked up the furniture from Raymour & Flanigan store at 1400 Rocky Run Parkway, Wilmington, DE. When I unpacked the mirror, I found the support rack missing. I went to the store and told them it was missing. I had to wait 3 days to get the mirror support and I had to go and pick it up. MY TIME HAS NO VALUE TO THEM.
When I unpacked the desk chair I notice damage to the chair as shown in the photo. I took the chair to the store to exchanged. The store manager agreed that the chair has defected. I requested an exchange, but the store manager could not authorize the exchange until their technician examine the chair. They made me take the chair back and made an appointment with the technician to come a week later (too busy to come next day. Apparently, a lot customer complains). Also, they said if the technician agrees with the exchange then I will have to go back to store with the defected chair and exchange it with another. They will not deliver it because I picked up the chair and for them to deliver it they need to charge me $45. MY TIME HAS NO VALUE TO THEM.
When I unpacked the desk, I found that the drawers are hard to open and close. I checked the bottom of the drawers and found that they were repaired before and it seemed that Raymour & Flanigan gave me a returned product that they tried to fix. I called the customer service and they said they will send a technician to examine the desk. I informed them that I will not take the desk back and they have to deliver the new desk to me and pick up the defected desk. WILL SEE WHAT HAPPEN.

We purchased a Quincey reclining sofa and recliner chair 10 months ago and the recliner chair stopped working in the reclining mode. We were told when we purchased this furniture this sort of thing would not happen that you would not get stuck in the reclining position. The money we spent on this furniture is not worth the price and the service is terrible. We waited a whole week and no one called to say they could not keep the appointment with us but hopefully next week someone could be out to fix the chair. Two weeks with a chair stuck in the recline position is a safety problem. Ten months we have this furniture and this is the best customer service they could give. Needless to say we will not be returning loyal customers that we have been in the past.

We spent $6000 at Raymour & Flanigan which included a dining room table and chairs which we only used 3 times. They look beautiful and are very comfortable. We did not buy the warranty protection because of cost and thought what could go wrong with a dining room table we only use 3x a year for the holidays. To our dismay, sitting on them only 3 times, 4 out of 8 chairs developed such wobbly legs you cannot sit on them. This is a fairly common issue but normally after a few years and can be fixed by just tightening the leg support bolts on each corner at the base of the seat.
When we turned the chairs over to tighten the bolts we discovered there are no bolts or screws to tightened! So how do you fix the problem? You need to call support to do this and it costs $75 for them to just come over. We are so disappointed. I am hoping the chairs will be permanently fixed and not have to do this every year going forward. If you plan on buying chairs at Raymour & Flanigan look under the seat to see if there are bolts to tighten the legs before you buy. There are a lot of complaints online and I am surprised by how many.

We had a balance on a promotional zero balance furniture payment of about $1,000 when we made a second purchase with a new zero balance promotional plan. We were told at the store that it would all be combined into the same account. We signed up for mail-free statements and automatic payments (unfortunately meaning we were not seeing statement in the mail every month). What they didn't tell us was that the two purchases were combined under one account but they remained as separate line items with different financing terms.
My monthly payments were then divided up by them with a disproportionate amount of the payment going to the purchase with three year terms and the smaller or minimum amount being applied to the one year term. Suddenly, an additional $600 in interest posted to the account and when I called it was revealed that the expiration of the promotional terms for the smaller load had expired and there was nothing they could do about it. The dresser in my son's room was defective upon delivery, the soft close drawers were slamming shut & off track. I took off of work five times to have the drawer fixed. The first four times the technician came he looked at the drawer before finally fixing it. My bedroom set was Assembled wrong Which caused screws to split the wood and pop out of my headboard. A service technician applied some type of putty (that didn’t match at all) on top of the screws that the screws. Eventually the screws came right through.

BED BUGS BEWARE. Several weeks ago, I reached out to Raymour & Flanigan Secaucus store and was connected to Director of communications regarding new furniture living room/bedroom purchase issue. I spoke with the director about what I experienced every time I sat on my new sofa. My skin would get itchy raised skin and welts in a matter of seconds. I thought it was the fabric of my new couch, however, I recently realized it was something more sinister.
This morning when I woke up I noticed 3 raised itchy irritated marks on my outer thigh. I remember reading about Bedbugs bites years ago and it suddenly dawned on me that I might have a bedbug infestation. I believe for sure it came from the new furniture I purchased from Raymour & Flanigan from the Secaucus store because I did not have this problem the 4 years I have been residing at my present address.
I immediately called a professional Bed bug exterminator today on Labor day. The owner of the company picked up the phone and asked me to send him a pic. The owner did in fact verified I had bed bugs bites on my leg. The owner then immediately sent out a licensed technician and treated my furniture/bedding essentially whole apartment. I am so distraught. Imagine giving away your old furniture from Raymour & Flanigan a company I trusted and then purchasing new furniture totaling $10,000, only to find out this furniture came with bedbugs which in turn caused me health issues along with another thousand dollars in exterminating fee. I am not rich.
As I went on Raymour & Flanigan Facebook and realized I am not the only customer who had this issue. Apparently, whatever warehouse they are using have bedbugs and need to be rectified. I am heavily considering taking this to social media and other outlets. Please be very careful if you buy from them. Btw, I am a very honest person. I would never write a review like this not unless I believed that bedbugs were in the recliners they brought to me.

The salesman persuaded us to purchase an adjustable bed that we unsure of and led us to believe that we would have 45 days to return it. Well, the bed is terrible. We are still taking turns in our guest bedroom because the mattress is so much better (given to us). Then, we found out after about a month, that the adjustable frame is NEVER returnable, just the mattress. Turns out the mattress is defective. We demanded someone come to look at it because, for 2k, no one should get out of bed in pain. They came and after just a month, the bed is already sagging - only just by one inch, not an inch and a half which is what it needs to be for them to exchange it!
THEN when we thought it could not get worse, we got our first bill from TD bank (who knew that is who they did financing through, not us) - only, it was the 2nd bill, so it had a late fee. After many calls, they eventually took this off. They never sent the first bill. Now, that we have access to the TD Bank RF online site- there is no option to increase an auto pay. Of course, many people finance because they offer deferred interest. If you pay only the minimum, you will not get this. When it came to resolving the issues with the furniture it took R&F five out of the 6 months of the promotion to settle the issue. Getting in touch with customer service representatives and actually getting them to call me back was a full time job for 5 months. At the Suffern office I was told people would call me back by the end of day or on specific dates. Ultimately, they never called and I felt like I was on a goose chase to settle the issue. I informed TD bank early on regarding the issue we were having and they encouraged me to pay the minimum so I wouldn't incur late fees.
Now I have an interest fee charged to my account which R&F has not been any help with because the promotion ended in June. R&F has not been helpful in settling the issue and to expect us to pay 6 months' worth of fees in one month when it took them 5 months to get back to us is awful customer service. TD Bank said they just needed a call from R&F to try and resolve the issue, but no one from R&F can apparently help us. Also, there's apparently only one district customer care manager who can help us but they are not available to get back to us for another 1-2 business days. He then says, "Your going to have to verify where you say you live via fax" either send a bill that comes in my name or copy of my license etc. "No.I’m not sending you anything pee wee." So Raymour took my $1600 bucks though but we’re so concerned it was fraudulent hmmm. This company is fraudulent, for a whole week they never bothered to call, email, anything at all to inform us so we could straighten it out so my delivery would be here on time instead their lazy ** did nothing but take my cash.
So after my girlfriend verifying she authorized the charge they call me, all so apologetic and nice which had no effect on my thoughts about everyone affiliated with this unprofessional fraudulent company, to set up delivery. Now being my nonfraudulent purchase was supposed to be here yesterday you’d think they’d go out of their way to get it to me ASAP. Seems how they dropped the ball and messed everything up so bad NOPE! I now have to wait a whole mother week. They offered nothing! So STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY! I should have went to big lots where their customer service is kick ass. I’d a got what I was looking for at a much cheaper price and same quality stuff if not better. Lesson learned!

My family and I purchased a new living room sectional sofa in February 2017. I have purchased several furniture items from Raymour and Flanigan within the last two years and honestly I've never had any issues with the quality of furniture. Upon delivery my husband and I inspected it and it seem to be in good condition. We were having work done in our house on the day of delivery so we did not use the sofa till two days later. Upon sitting on it two days later we were extremely uncomfortable. The seat cushions were completely flat compared to the ones that were shown in the store. We called to make a complaint. We had to wait three days for customer service to come out and we were told that the sofa was up to standards of schematics offered on description from manufacture.
Unfortunately it definitely was not what was offered within the store so my husband and I returned back to the store, took photos and measurements of the sofa cushions that were offered in the store and they were 6 inches higher than the ones that were offered to us. Upon getting back to customer service which took us several days to get in contact with somebody that would call us back or take your call we were told that in some cases in the stores sofa cushions could be remodified because of the wear and tear of customer uses.
Weeks going to the customer service representative that we feel cheated and at this time we were contemplating on returning the sofa. We were told the sofa could not be returned because they could not receive item because it was used already so we were told as a courtesy that they could modify the sofa cushions to add additional stuffing. We were unhappy with that decision but at this point we had no other options.
Three days later on sitting on the couch the right armrest caved and obviously the sofa was defective. Took an additional seven days to get back in contact with customer service. Finally got a manager on the phone who explained as a courtesy with all the inconvenience we had with the sofa she would replace that one section of the sofa which was done so a week later. We are now two weeks into the replacement piece as we’re sitting on the extremely uncomfortable because the new ones have not yet came in which is now about six weeks later. The sofa is creaking and sagging. I have sent numerous emails back-and-forth to customer service. They need to set up a new service date at their convenience which they cannot give me a timeframe and I cannot afford to take another day off of work since this has been the third service call on a brand new sofa.
I spent a large sum of money in the store in the last two years and I find it to be completely unprofessional and the quality of furniture that they are offering lately. I guess my lesson learned spending more money is not always the best option. Might be best to go to a discount store and get what you pay for if you need to replace yourself over several years. The reason why we purchase the sofa and spent a large sum of money on it was because we were under the impression that we would have it for at least 10 years. But my lesson learned is to stay away from Raymour & Flanigan because they do not hold up to the quality and standards of what they did at one time. Seems like it's just a mass production of cheaply made overpriced furniture.

I bought a small sofa for my porch. Cost around 400, also purchased the insurance. The sofa ripped and I called. They said take picture. I did. They said can't be fixed, and we don't have that sofa anymore. I had to get a credit which is only good at that store and only for two weeks. Can you believe a credit is only good for two weeks. So I pick out another small sofa, I need a certain size. It's a small porch, they tell me it's about eighty dollars more and there is deliver and tax. I said, "You nuts. You want me to pay deliver on a damage item you sold me." The manager said yes. I said I won't.
So now I am out a sofa, called 8 times never heard from the store. And the girl at main office in Gibbsboro told me I had to call insurance co to get my 40 dollars back if I wanted the insurance money back. They stinks. And their furniture is another thing. I also bought dining room table and the chairs were falling apart. They came out twice to fix them. I got so frustrated with the table cause it also scratch easy. I bought another one which cost me another 2800 for table and chairs. And had to buy a glass top to protect it cause they use cheap wood. I am done with them. Be careful.

Raymour & Flanigan sold me a defective 4 piece dinette set with a chair and a worthless warranty to boot. The lower portion, of the chair broke apart, in a few months prompting a call to service, who promptly advised me to repair the defective chair and not replace it. I opted to replace chair, as per terms of my warranty agreement. They sent me a chair whose pad broke apart after a month when my young daughter sat on it. These heartless savages jeopardized my daughter's safety by sending us a glued on padded chair and exhausted warranty in retaliation for my asking for a replacement chair, as per contract instead of another inferior repair. They sent a mechanic to spray the worn sections... Again. The color faded. I called their customer service desk... They claim this is how the leather "wears". I have owned leather couches in the past. My other couch had never lost its color... With that being said I think someone should seriously consider not buying any leather items from Raymour & Flanigan.

I purchased an outdoor patio set in spring of 2017. When I purchased this set the salesman suggested I purchase their platinum insurance. He stated that whatever happens they would repair or replace if any damage occurred. I took them out of the shed the first warm day about three weeks ago. The two arms on each of the chairs are rippled which lead to the paint to chip off.
They denied the claim saying it was left out all winter... Who are they to tell me I left them out all winter. And even if I had left them out there was no indication from any salesperson or any information stated on any paperwork no to do so. I was persuaded by the salesman to get this added coverage. He stated to me, my niece and her boyfriend that he purchased the plan when he bought a couch. He proceeded to tell us how he did a “cannonball” on his couch and received a new one because the couch could not be repaired. I am so upset about this. They need to be called out for this false advertising.

I will NEVER buy furniture from Raymore & Flanigan again. I purchased a 5 year "Platinum Protection Plan" for furniture I bought in February 2014. One of the pieces was a kitchen dining set (table with 4 chairs). The chairs were always a bit shaky, but we could live with it. One after the other they started falling apart at the joints, including the seat collapsing. By August 2015, all four dining chairs were unusable. I called R&F and they advised I could come in for a "re-select" since they no longer manufactured the original chairs. Apparently this was a "courtesy". When I went into re-select, they said I had to now pay the cost for the "upgraded chairs" even though they had nothing in price comparison to the original chairs I had. I spent ~3 hours in the store, even using their phone line to speak with their customer service center, all to no resolution.
It wasn't until I started loudly complaining and other customers heard me that the store manager came over and said that they will not charge me for the cost of the chairs, they'll only charge me for delivery. I again, loudly, expressed my frustration at their lack of customer service and honor and she said, "OK, we will make a one time courtesy and not charge you for the delivery". So we get the chairs, all fine.
Flash forward to March 2018. A standard sized person was sitting on the chair, and made a movement to get up and we hear a loud crack. The right front leg of the chair cracks, the screw holding the joint together pops out. The chair cannot be fixed. I call R&F, thinking I still had a "Platinum Protection Warranty". Apparently not. Since the "courtesy" was extended to me for the defective chairs before, my warranty was voided. This was never communicated to me. The rep says, "As a courtesy, we can schedule someone to come out, but you will have to pay for parts". I asked to speak with a manager, she says, "OK, one will call you back". At the beginning of our conversation, I mentioned to her that my phone number changed since the original order. When I inquired if she had my phone number, she repeats the incorrect number. I'm waiting for a callback...

I would give this so called company a -1 star rating, even a 1 doesn’t do it justice. We bought a sofa, love seat, chair looked very nice. It is even shown in one of their commercials. 5 months later furniture looked deteriorated, it looked as if we already had it for years. We are Fam of 3, we use the furniture with normal use in the living room. Only during the evenings after we get home from work.
The fabric was already starting to look stretched. There were wool or fabric knots (black in color contrast with the beige fabric) forming and spreading through the sofa. Overall the furniture started to look old after only 5 months.
We called numerous times, got the run around. Finally got someone to schedule an appointment but was not available for over 1 month. At the inspection, the inspector told us we will get a call in 2 days with the results. That call never came. We called numerous times. Finally got someone only to be told it was normal wear and tear, nothing they can do. Realy? 5 Month old new furniture? We told to have their superior call, that call Also never came. We are trying to contact them again to dispute. We Are being told we will get a callback, that never happens. Currently we have yet to get that call. But we continue to call them I order to get someone of authority to speak with us. Wish us good luck!
So I see so many negative reviews and unhappy clients there must be something we can do to hold Raymour & Flanigan accountable for their unethical practice and lack of customer care and selling low quality furniture. Buyer beware. Our experience is very negative and I thought it may be an isolated case, but I see that so many others have similar experiences and complaints.

After 18 years my wife wanted to get a new kitchen set and found something she liked at Raymour and Flanigan. I only wish I had saw some of the online posts regarding this company as I surely would have not purchased anything there. We purchased the new set and was talked into also buying their Platinum Service Plane. The set was delivered to my home which was late and no updated delivery progress as promised. Upon delivery 4 of the 8 chairs were either missing screws or not properly assembled. I called and they made an appointment for 6 weeks later. The tech was over an hour late that day but I will give them some slack as it was snowing that day. He repaired the chairs and a scratch on the additional leaf which was scratched by the delivery man with his knife.
A few days after this appointment my wife spilled a glass of water on the bench seat which is covered in fabric. She cleaned up by only using a towel to absorb the water. To our amazement the next day there was a large stain. The set was only 6 weeks old and we figured we would call for service when we got a chance.
By the following week it was raining for a couple of days and I was pouring a cup of coffee when I noticed some bubbling and cracking in the surface of the table. I called and was given another appointment for 6 weeks later. The tech showed up with about 5 minutes left in his window. He acknowledged the stain as well as 2 others and attempted to clean using his approved products. He took a couple of pictures and I was told I can either get the cushions and table replaced under my protection plan or make another selection at the store as I was now very concerned of the quality of the furniture.
What I wasn't aware of was that if you go through the plan you do not get the protection services transferred over to the new set. This was clearly a manufacturer's defect and no fault of my own. I took my own pictures and they still refused saying the tech noted that the bubbling was probably caused by condensation from under a glass of water or beverage. Who knew you couldn't get any moisture on a kitchen table and not get damage...really? The service department or customer care promises to call and try and help but no one calls and then they want to charge you a delivery fee if you reselect another item as a replacement.
I am 62 and have had a few kitchen and dining room tables in my day and never seen such poor quality and even worse customer service. My issue is still not resolved as I am not happy about putting out even more for another set and the delivery charge. I will never buy another item from this company and I will make sure I inform anyone who thinks about purchasing anything from them. Their products are poor and their service contract is not worth the paper it is written on, just another grab at the consumers hard earned money.
Updated on 03/14/2018: If I can give zero stars that is what I would rate them. Upon much back and forth with customer care and Platinum Service they decided to allow me to pick another dining room set from the showroom. They would carry over my Platinum on the chairs but would refund the remaining balance on the table portion itself. I went to the showroom and dealt with the store manager and picked out another set which was slightly higher in price. I paid the difference and with some discussing the delivery fee was waived. Yesterday they came and first took back old set, they then set up the new set. I immediately noticed the fabric was not right on the chairs as it was bunched up and did not look right. The delivery person told me once I use it that would disappear.
They then removed the cover on table too and both me and my wife noticed 5 areas where the wood laminate was already bubbling up. I then told them to take entire set back as I did not want to get blamed for any further damage. I called store and spoke to a salesman who took my info and was going to relay it to manager. About an hour later I received a call from customer care and they asked what can they do to resolve. I want a total refund!!! I was told a store manager would call me back to discuss. Dealing with this horrible company for last month I know not to hold my breath waiting for a callback. I called my credit card company and now disputing all charges for a full refund. Raymour & Flanigan is a complete horror show.

We have purchased a couch and loveseat in the past and were very happy so when we needed a dresser we decided to come back. We are now regretting that decision. We purchased the dresser on a Saturday and had delivery scheduled for Monday. On Sunday, no one called with our delivery window so we called about 10 minutes before you closed to find out and they told us 1-4. Monday arrives, my husband took the day to wait for the dresser, at around 3 they called and said it would be closer to 5pm. At 5pm, they called again saying it would be around 7:30 and would call a half hour prior. At 5:45 they showed up, unannounced and without a call. (Because of the above issue they offered a discount and refunded the delivery charge). The delivery people seemed in a rush and we looked over the dresser and it seemed fine as first glance, no dents or dings.
As we were adjusting in place we realized how wobbly it was. This is when we noticed the tack in glide on the bottom of the front right foot was missing. We also noticed that the center leveling leg was not touching the floor. We grabbed a level to ensure our floors were level and they were. We also noticed one drawer did not glide as smoothly as the others and gets hung up. We called the device department and they were going to schedule a tech 2 weeks out, not acceptable. The local office was them able to fit us in last Friday, once again, with a "window" that we never received a call for the time the day prior so we had to call to ask for it and it took 2 people to find the appointment to tell us someone would call in the morning with a time in the afternoon.
Friday arrives, my husband works nearby so he waiting for the call... noontime arrives and still no call. He calls and they say around 2 so my husband came home at 2. He stayed until 3 and still no one so he went back to work. He then called them back at 3:45 and they said they were about 10 minutes away. He told them they may have to wait 5 minutes since my husband has to pick up our daughter from daycare at 4 before they close. The "service tech" said he isn't waiting so we told him to just pick up the dresser and we didn't want it since we waited hours for them but yet they never showed when they said they would. The tech then said he would grab a burger and then be here.
The "tech" arrives which turns out to be a 3 man delivery crew... NOT a service tech for a service request. He puts the new tack glide on, looks at drawer and says it just needs to be worn in. Dresser was then level. I arrive home and notice the tack doesn't even match and the center leveling foot is no longer there. Ridiculous, seriously becoming the biggest headache.
Now, I'm okay with this "issue" but you should be aware: The first photo below shows the dresser in your Seekonk store. The second shows the one that was delivered, much darker. So now yesterday I go online and find this dresser is on sale for $130 less than we paid. We would like this credit since it had only been a week. We are told we can only receive $50 back since we already got it discounted for the inconvenience. Well, if I saw this sale prior to delivery we would had received the refund as well as an inconvenience refund so there is no reason we shouldn't be issued this. I also had a friend ask 2 weeks ago where we bought our furniture and I recommended her to them, I am now going to call her and tell her I wouldn't bother dealing with them since the customer service is far from acceptable. We were told by the store manager we would receive a call from the regional manager today and have yet to hear from him. 2.26.18 7:38pm.

During a Raymour & Flanigan bedding sale, we went to look at a new mattress & box spring. The sale looked quite good. We tried out a few mattresses and wonder about bed frames. The salesman (saying salesman because it was a sales man) was very nice and easy going, no pressure sales which we really appreciated. We chose a mattress and decided to look at bed frames. We found a few, they do have a great selection, and decided on one. The salesman walked us to the counter to complete the sale and on the way he asked about our interests in the 45 day return guarantee. We said yes and he told us he would throw in the mattress pad that was required purchasing the mattress exchange program. He also told us we could get 2 years interests free account and we could pay it off monthly until it was paid in full, interests free.
In addition, with the three days free delivery advertised in their TV commercials, we thought that meant free delivery. First was the 1-year interest free, not 2 years. On the day of delivery, they require a 4 hour window and they would call to more accurately pinpoint the time, but should be around 2:30 PM. Well we work during the day so I scheduled a half-day vacation and they agreed to call and give better details on their delivery time. I did receive a call about 10ish asking if they could deliver earlier, around 11:30 AM. I agreed and left work earlier. It was delivered around 2:30 PM, a bit frustrating, but trying to be understanding as things can happen. Next, we discovered a $149 + tax delivery fee. We called and were told that was because we purchased a bed frame. So much for the TV commercial saying three days and free delivery.
Next, after about 2 weeks, we decided we wanted to exchange the box spring. The bed frame is significantly lower with higher sides that now we hit our knuckles on the bed frame every time we make the bed. When I called the first time, the manager said that the time period is 45 days and we only had it a couple of weeks, he suggested waiting until later to ensure we like the mattress and make 1 exchange if needed. Makes senses, so we waited another week and a half and we have decided the mattress is comfortable and we will keep the mattress. My wife calls and is transfer to a manager and he says, "No, it is too early to make the exchange. Give it a couple of more weeks and if you still feel the same we’ll exchange it."
Roughly, day 36 of the 45 days we called again, get a manager right away. She informs us that there is a $90 exchange delivery fee. Here it is, the TV commercial says free delivery in 3 days or less, the salesman tells us to buy the mattress exchange and he kindly throws in the mattress pad. Plus, we talked to two other managers and no one had mentioned the $90 exchange delivery fee. My last straw, really feels like we were swindled and will never go back to Raymour & Flanigan, there is no plan talk. Talk about overpromising and underdelivering, really! This review is entirely with the company. Our salesman was wonderful & most professional. So my "never going back there again" is based on the service. Our goal was to find a bed set with an adjustable frame (where the head or head/feet can rise), and we found just what we liked. Someone was to call that evening with a delivery time-frame, never did, but I called the next morning & got my own information.
The delivery went fine. Two days later, one of the adjustable frames craps out. So here goes my blood pressure when I call. When I explained to the receptionist my problem, she gives me an incorrect number the first time. When I called back I was given another number which I called where the answering machine of a 20 minute wait. This turned out to be a 70 minute wait. Yes we kept calling on other phones but that did not hurry anything.
When someone finally answers, she tells me I have to call the maker of the adjustable frame. Do you think the receptionists could have told me that? So there is no immediate fix since this is MLK weekend. So maybe the maker of product will have a better date than the one at the store which was 11 days later. (Incidentally they know I just returned my rental hospital bed) but not their problem. So I suggested to the Manager, with one day delivery, just bring a new one. ABSOLUTELY NOT! A tech has to look at the broken one first & confirm or fix. So if you have any issues that demand attention & accuracy, I'd suggest going to Bob's. This is my last trip to R&F.

Went to Raymour and Flanigan in Jersey City, NJ. Salesperson Gisele waited on me. I was looking for a leather sectional. Found one that I like and purchased it. Gisele assured me it would come in a certain day. Next thing I know, she calls me saying it’s ready for delivery and the delivery guys are at my house. I wasn’t home, so I rush home only to find they left. She calls me back and told me they were on their way back and would arrive in 5 minutes. I call my brother and have my son and brother remove my old furniture. They put it outside for garbage night.
Time passes and I receive another call stating they are sorry to inform me that they cannot have the delivery men back out. Supervisor assured me he will take $65 dollars off and give me a $100 gift card. Neither received anything promised. Finally they come out on date they were originally supposed to, only to see they passed me off used furniture! I will never do business with them again! Please go elsewhere for your furniture!

They had to return to fix everything we bought from. A reclining couch, a dining room table twice, a computer desk, and counter stools. They sold us a lamp that was broken on the showroom floor. Would never buy from them again. We spent over 6000 dollars on their junk. The service people came 2-3 weeks after delivery and half the time did not bring the right parts. Go to a real furniture store. Stay away from Raymour & Flanigan!!!!

12/17/2017 Purchased at 1645 Broadhollow Rd, Farmingdale store 2 pieces of furniture total: $1833.16 12/19/2017. They delivery two pieces, one of the pieces Natuzzi lounge is completely different to the display, no label on it, darker color and poor quality, I didn't accept it. Called the store the manager said the money will be refund in 1 day, but they never refunded after 3 days passed. Checked online they give me Greccio lounge instead, not Natuzzi. 12/22/2017 called their company again, ** answered the phone every single time, she will said the manager has day off, or today told me he is on holiday and back next Tuesday. Where is my money? My refund. Can’t reach anyone. I filed with Suffolk Consumer Affair. They should investigate their products. I thought I can have a nice piece of lounge in my office for Christmas, emotionally distressed.

I purchased a sectional couch, recliner and kitchen table a few years ago from Warwick Raymour and Flanigan, and was extremely satisfied. This year I needed a couch and love seat for another room. I walked in store at 12:30 and was out at 1:00 after purchasing what I needed. The staff Bruce ** and manager, Jon ** could not have been more helpful. I highly recommend anyone looking for furniture to check out this store before they make their purchase. The best part is, we will receive our furniture in time for Christmas! Thank you Hilary **!
