I enjoyed my experience with Mattress Firm. The salesman and delivery guys were good. The sales rep walked us through every mattress and found out what kind of mattress we would like, and my wife finally decided on one. We purchased an adjustable bed, one king size mattress, and two queen size. The delivery team was courteous and they cleaned up after themselves well. They delivered and picked up the old mattresses. I went back to the store to buy some rails and the same salesman helped me out to make the decision. It was an excellent experience.

I needed a bed and I noticed that Mattress Firm is located across from my brother's house. I went in, knew what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend. The salesman showed me my choices then I made the decision and based it on my budget at that point. It was quick and simple. I purchased a full-sized bed. Overall, I like the price and it included the delivery tax, the whole nine yards. The salesman said he will have the product delivered and I will get a phone call the same day that I purchased towards the end of the day, and that was true.
I got a phone call to notify me that my delivery was gonna be done between 1:00 and 3:00 PM. In fact, the people who made the delivery arrived at least a half hour earlier than when they were supposed to. So that made me more happier. They assembled the unit like they were supposed to. And they asked me if I wanted that way, which wasn't a problem. So everything went quite nice and smoothly. The only thing that I noticed was that the frame is twisted a little bit from one of the edges where it's supposed to support the bed not to go over. But I don't mind that. I'm sure the bed is not gonna collapse on me. And besides that, overall, everything was fine. It was a good experience with Mattress Firm.

You know that there is something wrong with a business when Customer Service cannot connect you with the right person to solve your issue. There is definitely something wrong when that business does not return your calls, and they don't let you speak with a supervisor. To top this off, the business “guarantees” receipt of an item within 3-5 days of placing an order. Yet 8 days after the order has been placed, the company cannot even advise whether the item has been shipped. These are among the frustrations that I have encountered in my efforts to deal with Mattress Firm Customer Service. In spite of the fact that their sales rep informed me that I would receive notification and a tracking number when the item was shipped, no such tracking information was ever sent to me.
After contacting the company by chat two days in a row, I am told that I will have to up to 48 hours to find out if the item has shipped, and I am told that I have to wait up to 24 hours to speak to a supervisor. And my efforts to contact the company via telephone have also been fruitless. The recording said that I would receive a callback, but this has yet to happen. Customer service and satisfaction, unfortunately do not seem to be a priority once the company has your money.

I have my sister living with me and she's 83. We needed a queen size bed for her so somebody donated a new one. That ended up here but I wanted mattress covers on them. I've had some experience with Mattress Hub as my grandson worked for them. However, they didn't have what I wanted. Mattress Firm was the only place I could find the mattress covers that I wanted. They had it in stock in their store. I picked them up, gave their guy my debit card and was done in about 15 minutes.
The mattresses were $109 apiece and were laid out fine. I'll probably go back over there to get three or four more. Their price is as good as anybody's. Mattress Firm treated me right. If I needed to talk to them, their rep is there. He knows his business. Also, they have a nice showroom that is clean and well-lit. I can see everything. Overall, I recommend Mattress Firm.

Mattress Firm was in the area. So, I went and bought got a king size mattress and box spring from them. Their sales rep was fine and my order was delivered on time with no problems. I would recommend them.

I had purchased from Mattress Firm previously and compared to that, this experience has been pretty good. We purchased a mattress and got the adjustable frame free. The representatives were very nice, pleasant and very helpful. Although I like to do things in the store, their computers were down and since we weren’t able to do things in the store, I had to have someone from another branch call me. We had to work over the phone, which I wasn’t particularly crazy about, but it worked. The delivery was also right on time and the men were very good.

Originally made purchase of Adjustable queen bed, mattress and pillows on May 28, 2018 and delivery set up for June 2, 2018. Delivery made, but told item could not go up steps because of the layout of townhouse. Went back to store the following day and purchased adjustable split queen since I was told items can be taken upstairs and assembled. Delivery was expected today, but I received the runaround all day. Told delivery expected from 4 pm on.
Well, it is now 9:55 pm and still no delivery. Very disgusted, disappointed, frustrated and angry. Spent the entire day waiting for a delivery, which was never set up. Representative assured us that the delivery would be made today, talk about feeling very deceived. Could not track because apparently some type of error made by the representative. Will be going into the store tomorrow to cancel order and take my business elsewhere. Not how I should be celebrating Father’s Day with my better half.

When I went to Mattress Firm, the representative told me that they discontinued the specific model that I wanted. But he was so knowledgeable that he was able to lead us to the Serta iComfort mattress that he thought was very comparable. He did a good job. But, Mattress Firm has some internal glitches that they need to work out with their delivery. I specifically told them that I was starting a brand new job and I would not be there and they needed to contact my son-in-law. The delivery team missed with my first appointment and they wouldn’t wait five minutes for my son-in-law to get there and it was just ugly. They also they didn’t have the right pan so they had to come back to check into that.
The delivery was very poorly thought out because if that delivery driver could’ve waited five more minutes, they wouldn’t have had to unload my mattress that night, put it back in stock and then reload the mattress and they came out. It was a lot of wasted energy for somebody not willing to wait five minutes for the customer to arrive. I wouldn’t recommend this because they got problems with their service and if I had to do it all over again, I would’ve cancelled my order because of the way the delivery crew ran their business.

I decided to buy from Mattress Firm because it was convenient. I wanted to buy the Beautyrest Black, but it was a lot more expensive. The Serta iSeries was cheaper so I got that. The sales rep was very nice and the delivery guys were great. But when they started delivering the product, some of the information the sales rep gave us was not accurate. She said that it would fit within my bedframe so I specifically got the adjustable bed that I bought. But when they delivered it, it didn't fit so they took my mattresses away. Later that day, they delivered another one and then there were problems with that. When they were getting ready to leave the second time, I said, “You know what? Let’s try it," before they could go anywhere because we all had to sleep in the guest bedroom. I wasn’t impressed. Also, the sales rep said she was gonna give me or check to see if she could give me some free pillows for all the commotion but I never heard back from her.
There is a disconnect between the delivery and the sales. The delivery guy will say the sales people don’t know what they’re talking about and the sales people will say the delivery guy doesn't know what they're talking about. But in honesty, the delivery guys are the ones that set this up every day. They know which beds fit where and the sales people are trying to make a sale. But other than that, the bed works great. They're supposed to have a 120-day where I can bring it back in if it's not the right mattress for me and I can go from the firm to a soft or medium or king mattresses.

We set out to replace a 19-year-old extra firm innerspring mattress. It had begun sagging in places and generally losing its buoyancy. We were no longer getting good nights of sleep. We started our search reading consumer buying guides and reviews of mattress types. From the positive reviews, we decided to try a gel-infused memory foam mattress. Knowing and having experienced Costco’s customer service practices, we ordered the mattress from them.
We received the new mattress and began our trial sleeping period. Within a few nights it was apparent, going from an extra firm innerspring to a regular-plush foam mattress was not very comfortable. The contributing reasons for the extra-firm mattress, were rooted in past lower back problems. So, we requested a firm version of the mattress, But the comfort factor was still missing. We decided to return the mattress and try the Ghost-bed, another foam mattress but with a higher firmness rating (consumer-reports). Unfortunately, the experience was more of the same. And through these experiences, with a slight hiccup with Ghost-bed, customer service experiences turned out reasonably well, and exceptional with Costco.
That leads to the Mattress-Firm experience. With the importance of this investment, a good night sleep for many years, we abandoned the sight-unseen approach. We visited a few local mattress stores. One of those stores was Mattress-Firm on route 37 in Toms River. We tried a few mattresses within our budget, and decided to try and purchase a very firm Serta or Simmons foam mattress. We were assured by the company’s 120-day sleep trial promise. The salesman Scott, alerted us to what he considered the Cadillac of extra-firm mattresses, a Simmons Legends Garrison extra-firm innerspring mattress.
Testing the mattress in the store, it appeared firm and comfortable, but priced outside our budget. Scott informed us there might be one in the outlet store. He claimed these were new mattresses that may not fit their intended destination or for whatever reason, never used and returned. And he could sell these outlet items at a discounted price. After negotiating a price like the foam mattress, we decided to purchase the mattress. But once the contract was presented, a line item indicated no returns or exchanges. I was baffled, Scott assured us that the quality of this mattress would surpass anything we had experienced. And there was 3-year defect warranty clause which would protect us. Slightly apprehensive, we agreed. Scott informed us that during the delivery if there were any issues with the mattress or box springs, just decline the delivery.
On the day of the delivery, my wife noticed a tear in one of the box springs. Both she and the truck driver took pictures. The truck drivers stated they would get and return with a replacement. Later when my wife called the store to ask about the replacement, she was informed by Ryan, the store manager, that we had received such a good deal, he would not replace the torn defective box spring. He further explained that the practice with used mattresses and box springs, is to be sanitized and repackaged so the company could recoup costs. Wait one minute. We were never informed that we were buying used bedding. In fact, Scott was careful to craft his words that the items were new.
It has been almost 90 days sleeping on the mattress. The very first day, my wife put a cover on the mattress, to protect us and I guess, protect it. After all the hype of the quality of the mattress, I can honestly say, it is not the most comfortable mattress we’ve slept on. The firmness we felt in the store is only in the very middle of the bed. But we can say for sure, Mattress-firm was the most deceptive and least customer service friendly company we’ve experienced. From store manager to sales, there seems to be a culture of sale first mentality. When I visited the store to make my disappointment known about buying a used mattress and paying more than any of other mattresses we tried, Ryan said he would reach out to his regional manager but nothing came of it. And when I called to express a dissatisfaction in the comfort of the mattress, Scott, explained, we are here to help. But both claims rang hollow.
Mattress-firm is a huge disappointment. We would suggest avoiding them. The Better Business Bureau has the overall company rated as a ‘C’. And Consumer reports gives them a decent grade ‘80’ but also notes many customers would purchase elsewhere if they could do it again. There appears to be something inherently wrong in the culture. Wish I had read BBB and CR reports first. Buyer beware.

We have purchased mattresses from Mattress Firm in the past. It’s been seven years since the last one. But we had a good experience then, and we saw no reason not to give them a shot and see if they had what we needed when we were ready to get a guest room mattress. We bought it a memory foam for a guest room bed, a Murphy bed, the one that goes up into the wall. We needed something that we didn’t need a box spring and something that could only be 10 inches deep.
When we walked in, we weren’t exactly sure what we were gonna get and the young lady who helped us at the store was great. She went right to this and she said, “This was probably what you’re going to want,” because based on what we’d be using it for and how deep it needed to be, and the fact it did not need a box spring. We just went right on in and she narrowed it down very quickly. She also showed us some other options if we wanted something more traditional, but my husband and I both just went with the one that she said she thought was the best choice and her particular favorite, and we’ve been pleased. My daughter came home from college last weekend and decided she wanted to take a nap on it. She’s so excited to see what we did with this bedroom that used to belong to her brother and she was like, “This is great.”
The guys who came to deliver were professional, efficient and fast. It was an easy installation but still, they were great, polite and took care of it. I was kind of mesmerized by when they took this box out and opened it up, and all of a sudden, they unrolled this real mattress. I was like, “What in the world.” That was my first experience with a memory foam mattress.

Mattress Firm had a good price and we went in the Memorial Day weekend so there was a good sale going on. The sales rep was great, awesome, nice and helpful. We had two kids that were kindergarten and younger with us who were running around the store and he made us feel comfortable. He didn’t rush us then he also offered us something where we could purchase the mattress and then shop around and then cancel it with no penalty if we found a better deal or wanted to call back and price match with them.
We got a double bed and a box spring and got it delivered. There was a hole in the cover of the box spring when it arrived. I saw it and told them right away so they took a picture of it. Then the company called me that night to set up a time to switch it. I felt bad sending it back because I don’t know what they do with their product but you pay all that money and you want to make sure it’s good to start with. They were nice about that and everything went well. My husband was here for the second delivery and it was fine. The bed was for my daughter and she’s sleeping well and likes it so it’s all good.

When a company believes it is OK to deliver a piece of furniture that requires assembly at 10:45 PM, I have serious issues with them. I had waited from 5-9PM and then 6:45-8:45PM for my delivery- as shown on the tracking site. I received a call at 9:40 saying that they were on their way, only to get a follow up call (because I had called 3x with no answer) at 10:45 saying that they were coming. Impossible to reach a human on their phone line, the online chat was not helpful- and they went home at 10pm. I keep getting the run around when I believe after that snafu I should have had my base delivered this morning. NOPE. And the distribution center is only 1 hour from where I live. Beyond frustrated and I promise this hassle is NOT worth any $$ that was saved. Stay away- go to a local business and buy a mattress from someone you can trust and depend on.

I was having back pains before so we decided to go for a firm mattress. We went in to the Mattress Firm store one day and looked around. Then two or three days later, we went back there again and we were welcomed with open arms. We liked the price and the salesman at Mattress Firm. The salesman was very informative and helpful, and he answered all of our questions. I could not ask for a better salesman. We purchased a memory foam mattress and my husband picked it up with his truck. The mattress we got is helping out a lot. It was a very good experience we had with Mattress Firm.

We bought a complete set of bed from Mattress Firm about a year ago (6/10/17). The agent was very helpful and nice and gave us discounts. The problem is, last week, when we tried to file for a warranty replacement, we are being denied and was told that floor models are not covered by the warranty. They told us that the mattress we bought was a floor model, when in reality, it is as BRAND NEW as it can be. It was even replaced 2 days after it was delivered because the guys that delivered it accidentally ripped one side of the mattress cover. If they were able to replaced it, how can it be a floor model??? We are still paying for the charges and no one, in any of their departments will help us. One of the agents I talked over the phone even have the guts to offer us a 20% off to purchase another mattress. WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I'm a student on a scholarship and when I came here in Arizona, the first thing that was well-known for me was IKEA. I and a couple of friends bought mattresses and beds there when we first started at the university but all of the mattresses broke. The springs broke and the bed frames themselves were broken after a period of time. I needed to get something that was tougher than IKEA’s, so I went with Mattress Firm. They are a well-known mattress place in Arizona and every time I went on YouTube, Mattress Firm’s ad hit me up since I was searching for mattresses.
I went to their place and it was a better place to buy from. I got the mattress, the bed frame and some sheets, plus I got mattress protection. The sales rep that I dealt with was Michael. He was knowledgeable and helped me with everything because I purchased three items from his store, and he purchased two other items from another location because they didn’t have them in his store. He waited until I got the delivery from the other store so he could send out the guys to install the bed. It was all cool. The delivery of the products were on point and the guys knew what to do. They didn’t cause a lot of noise. They did the job, got in and got out really quick. I’d recommend that people get their first beddings from Mattress Firm because they serve customers in the best way and they have good products.

The Mattress Firm sales rep explained all the different options and what we would all need for it. He was also pushing for the mattress protector because you want to keep your mattress good for as long as you can. The queen mattress is for our spare bedroom and then the twin the size is for our son who seems to enjoy jumping on it. The first delivery was good and the delivery team assembled the frame and then got everything put exactly where we wanted it. But on the second time for the twin size, they didn’t wear their little booties so they tracked in tree stuff throughout the house. And then the box spring for the twin was warped so they’re gonna be coming on the 24th to replace it.

Went to the Memorial Day sale because I thought I could get a good deal. Deal was, if you buy king, pay for queen, buy queen pay for full... etc. After looking around and getting good customer service from the salesman, decided on a queen size bed from Sleepy’s very comfortable. Cost for full $1150. Seems like a lot. Buying queen paying full. Also you get an adjustable base for free, supposedly... applied for credit no problem. Mattress came a week later on time and friendly delivery guys. But mattress seems small, I’ve been sleeping on queen beds for 20 years and this is smaller than standard queen size. Did online search and queen beds are supposed to be 60x80 inches but mine is about 57x78. I bought a queen bed frame from Craigslist put it together and mattress looks like a full or double. Not Queen mattress.
Lots of space around the frame open. Called Mattress Firm who said check tag, if tag says 59x79 then it’s a queen mattress. It does but that’s not 60x80. Obviously they are shorting the mattresses and selling them as full queen beds. I’m not happy so I ask about return, which they say I can do but can’t return “free adjustable base”. If you return the mattress they now charge you $500 for the “free” adjustable base... plus 10% restocking fee. Loss of $600 on a $1150 bed? WTF? Of course they say they sold me a queen mattress, but they also sold me a queen mattress cover and it’s way too big for the bed. They said must be miss-labeled mattress cover. Not bed size. I called my lawyer who said it’s a least deceptive business practices and maybe fraud. But he said they are probably just inside the line of being legal. And he would look into it but was not sure if anything could be done.
When buying from these people BE VERY WARY OF DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES. The “free” adjustable bed base guarantees they make $500 or $600 regardless of whether customers keep the mattresses or not. I can’t afford to lose $500 so I’m keeping it but I had to cut my queen size frame down to fit my new queen mattress. Pictures are of mattress cover that is queen size and does not fit, also pictures of mattress and my queen bed frame also of space between frame and mattress. Last picture is my bed after I cut the headboard to fit the mattress.

I purchased a mattress and adjustable base from Mattress Firm last week. The store manager Melissa was great. As wrapping up our transaction she informed me of delivery dates. I chose Sunday. I work six days a week with Sunday being my only day off, it would work just fine. We called Sunday to get an idea of a time for delivery. The delivery team showed up within the hour they said they would have. This delivery crew had No respect of person or property. First they informed me they wouldn’t take my old mattress away. While one was on the phone arguing with dispatch whom I can hear saying, "Take the mattress". The other decided it was wise by himself to start moving in the adjustable base.
I gave him a clear path to my master bedroom via my deck rather than fighting around hallways and doors, the deck gave a solid and safe route to the master bedroom. He chose to come through the home. Heavy as it is he dropped it. Cracked a tile and chipped another. The other delivery guy at this point came to help. They moved the old mattress against the wall as they laid in the base. They yelled out to me and asked for a hammer. Yes a hammer. To which I gave them a hammer. They then started hitting the new frame to “tweak” it. From the living room I could hear beating of a hammer against metal. I rushed in to ask “fellas what’s going on”. They stated it won’t align and they must tweak it. Very unhappy at this point.
I stated, "If it’s damaged let’s contact the store, I do not want a damaged unit." They said I would not even notice it. At this point they handed me the remote and told me my job was to install the batteries and suggested I do it in another room. I’m furious. I prompt my wife to contact the store. Not letting them out of sight at this point. I see the one starting to pick up additional hardware and trying to hide it. I asked what it was to? He stated he wasn’t sure. At this point one is hammering my frame, the other goes and gets the king size mattress himself and decided it’s a good idea to bring it in himself. Sliding across the driveway and the deck he struggles and hits everything in site including my Anderson storm door. Lays it in the door way and goes to check on the other guy.
At this point my storm door is busted. I snapped a picture with my cell phone of the new mattress halfway through the door. And the storm door damage. The frame is now finally tweaked enough that they were able to align the bolts to attach the two ends. They throw the new mattress on top and start taking pictures as if everything is good. Still not connected to the store or a manager at this point: I see a long thread coming from the end of the mattress on the top (like it was caught on something at one point). As I pull, it starts unthreading. They instructed me to just cut it and it should be fine once the sheets are on it. At this point I asked why they don’t use safety mats and use both of them while moving the merchandise They just keep quiet and take the old mattress out.
Still waiting for the store. I have one of them sneak back up the steps and he threw a “red mat” on the ground and proceeded to take multiple pictures of this mat on my deck as if they used it this whole time. I asked what he was doing and he stated it’s our policy to use the mat when moving the stuff. I’m floored and now yelling “then why didn’t you and why are you taking pictures as if you did!!!” Quickly grabs his cell phone and prompts me to quickly sign!
I refuse and ask to talk to his manager. Store just picks up. He can hear me talking to the store and they hopped in the truck and left. I have a screen door broken, a cracked tile and a chipped tile. A damaged new mattress, a damaged adjustable frame and a damaged wooden frame. The amount of disrespect and deceiving of this company is repulsive. Never again. Never ever again!!!

My husband and I are in our seventies. And our 10-year-old memory foam mattress was breaking down and we feel molded into it. We had stayed at Comfort Inn when my daughter-in-law passed away. They had one of those plush mattresses and we seemed to have slept better on it, which made us look for something like it. It was maybe an hour before closing time, so there weren’t a lot of people in Mattress Firm, which I liked. The sales associate, was very nice, bubbly, and cordial. Her name was Melissa and she was informative about the products that were in there. You could envision what she was saying about the product. We laid on one that we liked and said that we could see the difference.
I've been in retail for years so I can home in on when somebody has either been too pushy or doesn’t know their stuff or just seems very impolite. But Melissa was right on target. She sensed that I was the kind of person that wants to just mill around, look and lay on different mattresses. And she knew when to step back. We tried different mattresses and purchased a Resonance Plush mattress. We were tossed between two different ones and the price point brought us to a decision since we had to get two mattresses. We also bought an innerspring mattress as a guest bed and it was a fairly decent one. Plus, she gave us a really decent price on it. She wrote all the stuff up and went over with my husband. The mattresses were gonna be delivered last week but we decided to thoroughly clean the bedroom. So we called her back and asked her to put the delivery off, which wasn't a problem.

Mattress Firm is not far from my house and I knew the delivery was not gonna be too big of a deal. I had always kept driving by and they were running a special where you’d get a king for a queen size buy. The first time I went there, I went in by myself to browse and the woman I dealt with didn't really try to just put me on any mattress. She let me walk through the store and try out the different mattresses. She was able to give me information about each one that I was drawn to. I told her what I needed and what my husband’s needs were, and she explained to me the difference in the colors on the different beds, from the firm to the soft and the medium. I told her about my back problems and she let me know that there was one particular bed I was sitting on that wouldn't give me the support that I needed. I knew what I wanted so my experience with Mattress Firm was easy. The delivery was also quick, fast and easy.

I purchased a mattress and exchanged it for a different one and have been waiting on a refund for several weeks and cannot get anyone through customer service or at the store to give me any information in regards to a status of my refund. I have gone online and filed a refund status and have had no response. The customer service number is of no assistance because you can never get a live person on the line to help with any issues. They owe me 863.87 which is a good bit of money. I would never recommend this company to buy a mattress from, they sell you a mattress take your money and after you leave the store you cannot get any help i.e.: exchanges, refunds etc.

I went to Conn’s and had a bad customer service. The minute you walk in, it was, “Hey, what are you looking for? Let me get you this. Let me get you that.” But when I walked into Mattress Firm, the manager who I spoke with offered me the customer service that I was looking for. He wasn’t very pushy at all unlike the sales representative from Conn’s. The manager asked me about my needs and wants, had me try things, and just went above and beyond. That led to my decision to making a purchase with Mattress Firm. And I love the experience that if I could go back, I would do it all over again.
I sleep a little better with my new mattress. I have insomnia and that still hasn’t changed. But when I actually fall asleep, I stay asleep a lot longer because of the memory foam. I move a lot in my sleep and when I do, I don’t feel the mattress either moving or making a squeaky noise, so it’s just a lot easier to fall back to sleep or stay asleep.

I had looked on several other places and when I went to Mattress Firm, I was quite happy with what I heard like the prices and the sales people. It was a totally different experience. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I bought a Serta and my daughter was there when they delivered it. She said the guys were very thorough and neat. They made sure everything was working good and she tested everything before they left. But I felt that it was too firm and I had to change mattress. Mattress Firm stood behind and guaranteed that if I wasn’t 100 percent satisfied, they'd exchange it for me. The new mattress I have is wonderful and I sleep a lot better at night. If anybody’s looking for mattresses, Mattress Firm is the best place that I can think of that somebody would go to and purchase from. I’ve been totally happy.

I needed a mattress and Mattress Firm was the first store I got to. They had the prices and the sale that was good, so I bought from them and my experience with them was great. I purchased a foam mattress called Super Low Mattress. The sales rep was very informative, polite and patient. The delivery guys were good and the delivery was fine. Right now, everything is well with the mattress that I received. Mattress Firm should keep up the great work.

My wife and I purchased a King Sized mattress about two weeks ago. They had a special on a metal box spring and since they tout their extensive return policy we figured why not. In the meantime we purchased a new bedroom set which included a king-sized frame. Yet without new setup we'd no longer need the metal box spring. We reached out to return the box spring, for some reason this is 'a nonreturnable item', I've never heard of such a thing and they say if you 'read the fine print you'll see' - these are their words, and never had a had a good experience with a company which advises you to read the fine print while dealing with them.
Hold on though it gets worse. So when our new bedroom furniture arrives we notice immediately something is off. The "King-Sized" Mattress is a full 4 inches shorter than the standard 80 inches long and there's a large gap at either end of the bed. We call yet again to explain and surprisingly from our last conversation they are quick to schedule a time to get our new bed. I suspected this is a common occurrence for their beds to be shorter than the actual specs. given based on the ease of the return, little did I know how right I was.
So a few days later and another half day off the new mattress arrives. The delivery man comes up to see the room and asks to see a measuring tape as to why we are returning the mattress. I provide the tape measure and he sees that, it is in fact four inches short. He says I'm better off getting a California King. I explain that the frame is not for a California King but regardless he tells me the one on the truck is the same size. I explain that we requested that they measure the new one so as not to waste everyone's time and they said they would. That clearly did not happen since when we got to the delivery truck the new mattress was exactly the same size as they last, FOUR INCHES Short!
So now according to MattressFirm the only way to get this situation sorted is to return the faulty mattress and then they will schedule a new delivery!?! I asked what are we to sleep on. In the meantime they said they didn't know but this is how this has to go from here. This has been one horrible experience followed by another since in the short time we've dealt with them, they have sold us two items, one they will not take a return of and is now useless to us and the other is faulty by their own admission, then they provided yet another faulty item and will not return a properly sized bed unless we give up the one we have and THEN schedule a new delivery, for a bed which I highly doubt will be the proper size. Do NOT do business with Mattress Firm!

I purchased a mattress and box spring at the Stone Oak, San Antonio store. I started having backaches after 7 or 8 months and had no idea it was my mattress. After going for several massages and chiro visits, I was out of town and discovered that my "new mattress" was the problem. I had a Beautyrest about 20 years ago and although it was very comfortable, after about 4 years it wasn't, and it had depressions. My ex wife and I had a combined weigh less than 350 pounds, so it wasn't overloaded.
I had specifically asked when I bought this new, will this hold up? I was ASSURED it is well made. I weigh 200 pounds. I sought resolution from the store, and was not happy with the other rep who was in the store the day I came in. He could seem to care less. I understand this is not a $2000 mattress but failing after 7-8 months with one person on it?? Then a bad experience in the store. After MULTIPLE times attempting to resolve this someone suggested there was a way. Long and seeming drawn out however.
Frankly I am NOT HAPPY. In the past, I have purchased a $120 bed from Wal-Mart for company that held up better than this bed. The original rep was nice, but since that time I feel like there has been no help. In 2016 I purchased another bed from this same company in another State, so I have been a repeat customer. I think I should be credited the full amount for a bed that actually is well made, and doesn't fail so quickly.

Although there was a problem with delivery, it wasn’t their fault. It was UPS or FedEx, but they tracked it down and got it delivered. It was all an excellent experience and we will be ordering some more beds.

Purchased a split king with individual power bases, mattress protectors sheets, pillows etc. The whole package. Spent just under 6k. Will in the Eugene Oregon store was nice. Delivery and set up was a disaster. Delivery boys (literally) were untrained to set up power bases. Admitted they had never performed this task. They stared at all the parts on the floor while calling some support location three different times. Even tried Skype. Headboard brackets were incorrect and would not bolt up. After lots of frustration everything was left loose and temporary until I could speak with Will at the retail location. Oh by the way, sheet set did not show up with rest of order so my fiancé had to go to Macy’s just so we could sleep in the 6k half assed set up.
Spoke with Will the following day. He stated he would get this issue addressed. I even bought a second bed for my son's college living situation as I felt my issues would be addressed. He did help out on price because of the sheet debacle. One week later nothing. Crickets. Saturday 6/9 I took the bed apart myself and reassembled properly. I also retrofitted the headboard brackets so they would bolt up properly. It is an absolute joke the consumer should have to redo and fabricate factory products. It is also unbelievable kids with no training would be expected to perform this type of task. I will be contacting Mattress Firm for a reasonable account credit based on this ridiculous experience.

Early in June 2018, my wife and I visited our local Cape Coral store. The 2 salesmen were pleasant and friendly... Con men usually are! I don't buy garbage, so I asked to be shown their best foam mattress with an adjustable base. They showed me a Simmons Black Ice and we loved it. They demonstrated all of the functions of the bed and it was really amazing. Head, foot, Snore mode, ZERO GRAVITY PRESET (AWESOME) and massage! This was the bed I wanted. Having very bad arthritic joints, the zero gravity setting was a must. At $6500.00 on sale, this was a steep price to pay... But what wouldn't you pay for a painless night's sleep?
A week later as promised, we took delivery. The truckers were great... Careful, pleasant, really good. This was a great experience! Having become very cynical about retail and contractors in Florida, we were so happy about our experience. The truckers set everything up and handed me the remote control... WELCOME TO HELL!! Where is the snore preset? Where is the zero gravity preset? Wait, this bed doesn't do half of what we bought! So I called the store and my salesman picked up the phone. I assumed this to be an honest mistake... Wrong! I told him that this was the wrong bed and he said no it wasn't. I said it doesn't do what we wanted... He then said" I went over the functions with you 6 or 7 times"! Now I'm pissed... This was an outright lie! Obviously, things got worse from there.
He started quoting Model numbers of the bed and base which he had NEVER done before, so we had no idea which model we bought. At this point, I just told the truckers to pack it up and take it back because we weren't going to get anywhere dealing with him. In my opinion, this was a classic "BAIT AND SWITCH"! Why, I have no idea... But we did not get the product we paid for and he would do nothing to help. I now have a call in to Mattress Firm customer service who I should hear from within 24 hours. I doubt they will contact me. Upon finishing with them, I will be writing a letter to Florida's attorney general. Crap flows downhill and it is my opinion that Mattress Firm is as Crappy company! I will never set foot in a Mattress Firm store again! BTW... The salesman told us that Mattress Firm stopped carrying Tempur-Pedic products of their own choice. Do your homework... Tempurpedic stopped dealing with Mattress Firm!! Hmm, imagine that... More lies!

I’ve purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm a while back. Then, when I needed to buy a new bed, I had gone to a couple of other places and Mattress Firm was having a sale. So, I decided to purchase from them again. I got a Simmons Beautyrest Whitfield. It’s a Plush King-Size and I was going from a queen to a king. Ellie, my sales rep, was great. It was easier to buy a car than a mattress and she was very helpful. She had a good sense of what I was looking for and narrowed me down to that. But the item I wanted was out of stock at the time, so it took about a week and a half to get it. It was fine though, as I wasn't in a huge rush. When my order finally came, it took a little bit of time to get the mattress in because it was big and setting it up took a little longer than my husband thought it would. But their delivery team was pretty efficient.

I went through the 120-day process with Mattress Firm and switched the mattress out. So, 120 days ago, in January, was the first purchase I have ever made with them. The quality of the other mattress was great too. But it was too hard for me and you really don't know about a mattress until you sleep on it. I bought the adjustable base so that has been a godsend, not only for my back, but I just got a sinus infection and I just lift my head up and I could breathe. It's wonderful.
The rep, Tanica, was very helpful. She was not only knowledgeable about the product but was also very helpful in making the decision. She made sure that I was aware of all the programs that they had and any sales that they had going on so that I could make an informed decision about everything. Because realistically, I would have never considered getting an adjustable base, but there was a special they were having going on and she made me aware of it and that was huge. Also, each time I had a delivery, the guys were very polite and they were wonderful individuals. I have been very happy with the entire experience.

I've had 4 mattresses from this company. All 4 were horrid. Have returned 3 of them and they tell me buy a better one. I've purchased what they told me I needed from regular spring to memory foam that must have Alzheimer's because it's so bad. I hate it but don't want to buy another. Can't sleep at night because I sleep in a hole. I can get out of bed in the night and when I get back in I can feel where I was lying. Only took about 4 weeks for this to start.

We tested different mattress elsewhere and went to Mattress Firm. We have a Tempur-Pedic and I think that the Mattress Firm used to sell Tempur-Pedic. They did not carry them anymore but they carry two other ones that were of similar design. Their salesperson said we were welcome to come in but he told us also where we could find Tempur-Pedic if we wanted to see a full line of 'em. But we were more than willing to come in and I appreciated that he gave us the options. He was not pushy but provided information, and then tested the mattresses itself by laying on 'em. He had two different manufacturers that had mattresses that were designed on the same structure but had better pricing.
I purchased the Beautyrest mattress and a base that has a recline or incline capability on it because it provided more solid support. We had it delivered and the delivery man didn't take long to set it up. I was pleased with him. He set the whole thing up to a height because the base has the motor-driven structure. He said that I could raise it if I want to. And then when I was gonna put a bed skirt on it just to cover the bottom, he recommended against it because that particular mattress and frame has a Velcro strip on it that holds the mattress in place. It also inclines when I'm done and it is better to let it out.
The mattress is the type that takes a period of time to break in from the overall standpoint but so far, we're very pleased with it. And my wife likes it. I'm also very pleased with that particular Mattress Firm store. I've been back there twice since then to ask questions and they accommodated those quite well. I will recommend them to a friend of mine.

I have a bad back and was recently diagnosed with ruptured discs. The bed I bought before wasn't quite 10 years old, but I had always thought I wanted a firm bed. It ended up being too firm and not being comfortable in the long run so it was time to replace it. A couple of people that I know recommended Mattress Firm. I got an adjustable base from them, but the mattress was the iComfort. The bed is much more comfortable. I thought it would be too much like sleeping on rubber and it wouldn't be comfortable and cool. But I really enjoy it.
I got at Mattress Firm a little early and the sales rep there wasn't ready to quite open. I was just walking around the area but he saw me looking. He opened the door, let me in and told me to feel free to walk around. He took time and I had personal service the whole time. Also, he gave good recommendations and took time to explain the construction of the different mattresses and what made them different from each other. It was probably one of the best customer experiences that I've had in any area. Then, the delivery went well and the delivery team set up the regular metal frame I bought in my second room and moved my old mattress and box spring over to there for me. My bed is an old, solid wood, sleigh bed so they took the slats out that normally holds the mattress and box spring for the frame for the new bed because I didn't need them and the base fit right inside the frame of the bed.

Bought a mattress and adjustable frame over 2 weeks ago. Was give a delivery time frame of 7:15 pm to 9:15 pm on Tuesday June 5, 2018. I received a phone call at 11:37 pm. They were outside my condo to deliver. However, because of the time they will call me in the morning to set up a new time. This makes me angry as the time was confirmed via email and someone could have called me to let me know they are running late. Now I need to readjust my time again. So frustrated.

We went to the Lees Summit Mattress Firm and then to Independence. The rep at Independence wasn't as pushy as the person in Lees Summit and was interested in what we liked. He and my husband talked and we ended up buying a mattress and box spring. Everything was quick and easy. If they didn't have the product there, they looked around to see which store had it and see when they can get it. The rep was an older man and he knew information about the bed. We've bought a mattress before and when we had gotten it home, it didn't feel comfortable at all. He explained to us that if we didn't like it, we could bring it back in a couple of days. He was a really nice guy. We were getting it for a spare bedroom because my mother was coming to visit. We needed it that day so we picked it up. It's comfortable and we're gonna switch it with our daughter's bed. I'd tell friends to go to the Independence Mattress Firm.

Purchased king Sleepy Reserve Firm mattress on 5/30/18, was given delivery date of 6/1/18. Mattress Firm called and informed they did not have mattress in stock, but will have it in by 6/4/18 with new delivery date of 6/5/18. Just received another call from Mattress Firm today 6/4/18 regarding delivery and said they still don’t have my mattress available for delivery. Said they have a problem with supplier of Sleepy mattress. They must think I’m dumb, salesman at store told us that Mattress Firm bought Sleepy’s. So I must assume they have problems with themselves as they are the supplier. So they scheduled me for delivery a THIRD time just to get me on schedule, not knowing if mattress I ordered would be in for delivery.
I knew we should of gone to a more upscale retailer for mattresses. I’m thinking of canceling the order as I’m really wondering about quality of mattress and Sleepy’s brand. I think the Serta that costs almost twice as much is what we should of purchased, however can’t afford it. WOULD NOT do business there based on my cluster experience.

I was looking for a new mattress and purchased an adjustable one from Mattress Firm. It was fine with their sales rep and he was patient. But the delivery didn't go well. When the guy came for delivery, he had an attitude. Then, he said they couldn't put the new mattress up because I had to disassemble the old mattress. I'm disabled for the most part and I had to search for people because I couldn't do it. Also, the mattress is okay but it's not as great as it was on the first day. I'm having back problems now.

I purchased a Tulo mattress online, with delivery from Mattress Firm - delivery was scheduled for Sunday. The day before, I received notification of the delivery window 10 am-12 pm. On Sunday, I received an automated call at 11:40, saying my delivery would arrive in approximately 10 minutes. At 12:15, the truck arrived - and my mattress was not on the truck. I contacted customer service both via phone and online - and was given no help. I was basically told that the order was "locked" and that I would have to call them back the next day to reschedule delivery. Despite their delivery guys putting it into their system that the delivery was not made (I checked the delivery tracker, which said status was "unable to complete"), they expect me to have to contact them again, during my work hours, to re-arrange a delivery which failed due to their delivery services.
Meanwhile, I am left with no mattress, and no idea when it will be delivered. And nothing from Customer Service but "Yeah, nothing we can do. Sorry." A decent and reasonable company would have some sort of process to correct this - and allow rescheduling immediately. Or at least be able to note when delivery should be rescheduled, so that it goes into the system and the customer just has to confirm, like I was able to confirm the original delivery window. A Customer Service department with any regard to its customers would have tried something to ameliorate the situation and would not have let a customer go without offering some way to solve the problem or compensate the customer for the inconvenience. I received nothing, and not even a sense of empathy from either the phone or online representative.
I had been hesitant of purchasing a mattress from a company associated with Mattress Firm due to their terrible reputation. I had hoped since they were only handling the delivery, it wouldn't go that badly. Clearly that was a mistake that I will not be making in the future. This clearly is a garbage company with reprehensibly bad customer service.

My fiance had bought a mattress and box spring a few years ago and had a good experience with them. We went there when it was time for my mattress and box spring to be replaced. It was comfortable when I first tried out the mattress in the store. However, since then, it has been an absolute nightmare. The mattress/box spring is only maybe 2 years old and has been replaced multiple times. The metal on the box spring keeps breaking, causing there to be a dip in the mattress on both sides of the bed.
This last time, we contacted them multiple times and we keep getting the runaround. The individual who helped us in Customer Support, Peter, did not put through a warranty claim for us so we waited for days waiting for someone to contact us to come out and inspect the bed. The time frame to hear from somebody has gone from 3 to 5 days, to now 7 business days to hear from anybody. We've got nothing but lies from everyone we've spoken to with this company. My back hurts from sleeping in a broken bed. I never want to deal with this company again - nothing but lies and false promises.

I bought a bed from Mattress Firm. It was approx. 600.00. Within 4 month the bed began dipping. I talked to the salesperson. They stated that a person would have to come to my house. It would cost 50.00 for the visit. They would measure the dip. It could only be exchanged. The exchange could be made if the dip was more than an inch. I didn't want another one of their beds. I then decided to buy a new one somewhere else. As a last ditch effort they said they changed their policy. You can take a picture and if the dip is 1 inch or more they will exchange. The bed was of poor quality. A 10 yr life on this mattress was the warranty. I didn't fight them on this. I want other people to know their warranty is not in keeping with the quality. It is impossible to take a picture of a mattress to show a dip. I tried.

My mattress from Mattress Firm is great. It is a combination mattress with a pillow top. It is also electric so I can raise the head or feet. It is very comfortable. The 2 small minuses. It is very high with the mattress and box spring. Also, since the mattress is thick you have to get sheets that have deep pockets on the corners so the mattress will be fully covered.

We bought a king mattress and a bed frame that raises and lowers the head and feet of the mattress. The store mistakenly charged us for two (2) frames, but we did NOT buy two frames, just one. They charged us an additional $1200 for the second frame, said they would back it out of the system so we wouldn't be charged, and that was more than six weeks ago. The charge is still on our credit card, costing us interest. When we call, they are very pleasant, but nothing happens. We do not trust them to deal with us honestly, as this is way too long to correct a mistake.

I purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm, but it wasn’t right and had it picked up. I purchased a different one and I thought it was right, but again, it wasn’t and had it picked up. And the whole reason for it was waking up with a backache. We have a mattress that is not much more than a year old but the place we got it from did not have nay return policy unless there was a defect and getting backaches. We decided to bite the bullet and if we could find the right mattress, we would donate it to somebody. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find the right mattress, so we’re back to using the one we had and waking up with backaches. It’s very frustrating.
The rep tried to help us select the right mattress. I laid on many of them, but the problem is I can go to bed, get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, and my back doesn’t hurt. But I get up in the morning and my back hurts. So, laying on it for five minutes in the store didn’t tell me a thing. I did it twice and the guy said they can't come up with another one. I agreed with him. It was ridiculous and it was costing me money each time. Mattress Firm’s policy was very good. Everything worked out except for the fact that I didn’t come out with a mattress that worked. It was funny when I bought the first one. There was another fellow at the store and he said that there are some people that can never find the right mattress. The first one took me about four or five days before it started to bother me and I thought I was in good shape. The second one felt good in the store, but it didn’t feel good when I woke up.
Also, I told the people who were picking up the first mattress, Mega King, which were two twin XLs, that we did not use it. They can resell them but they were putting them into the bags that said used. The only time I got it and the only time I laid on it without the cover was when it first arrived just to make sure it felt the same. And then I put the covers on and sheets and that’s the way it was. But we saw dirty fingerprints on them. We didn’t even notice it on the first one until the guy was inspecting it and I said that was not us. And then we saw five fingers on the second one immediately.
But Mattress Firm did right by me and I would recommend them. I just couldn’t find the right product. I don’t like memory foam, so that was out. My wife has physical problems and we could not use one of the very thick ones. We couldn’t use the high-end ones with the big pillow top because she would not be able to get on to the bed. So, we were somewhat limited. In the last few days, I’ve woken up with a terrible backache and I’m getting fed up. I’m ready to start sleeping on the floor.

Bought a mattress on Memorial Day, the store promised delivery to be on May 29 between 2:00 and 8:00 pm. Called the store at 6:00 pm. There was delay and delivery likely to take place 9:00 and 9:45. Use their tracking system at 9:30 pm. It showed the delivery will be between 10:30 and 11:00 pm. Chat with customer service, the response is they cannot do anything about the delivery.

We happened to go inside a Mattress Firm store and there were Beauty Rests. We talked with the salesman and he gave us quite a history on them. He was real good and very knowledgeable. We ended up buying their Beauty Rest bed. So far I love my mattress. While I wish it was a little cheaper, that's okay. It was over $3,500 but we ended up paying $2,000 for it with zero financing. They gave me two years but I'll have it paid off in a year. I recommend them.

Someone gave us a memory foam mattress from Mattress Firm as a gift. But, there were several complications with the delivery date. They promised us three times when the mattress will be here, but they failed to deliver, which was frustrating. We didn’t get it until a week later and that could be a serious problem.

I tried to exchange the adjustable base for a box spring. Even though there is a 120 day exchange, I was told NO. I have back problems and this base is not good for me. This base makes my back problems worst. I would not recommend the base to anybody. Also the mattress dips where the bed raises up. My purchased was in March 2018.

We had Mattress Firm before, and it's close to our hometown and close to where we live. When we lived in Florida, we had sold everything we had so we didn’t have any mattresses. When we came back, we had an apartment and bought a queen size mattress for me and my wife. Then when we moved into our house, we got a king size for us and two full size mattresses for the kids. The customer service at Mattress Firm was great and they were very helpful. Also, everything was smooth during the delivery. They arrived when they said they were gonna be and they were in and out real quick. So far, the mattresses that we purchased have been great and we love them. I have recommended Mattress Firm to other people.

I walked into their store one day and one of the workers named Steve told me about a bed he thought I would have loved. I tried it and thought wow what a comfy bed. So I was told to type all of my info onto the computer by Steve while he talked about how great he was. When the bed was delivered to me it stunk. My husband was home when it arrived. This was a new apartment and I was trying to focus on so many things at one time. I finally turned my attending to this sticky bed and reached out to Steve and he went to his manager Robert to get guidance on how to handle the sticky bed situation. They sent me a set of 3 beds and each one smelled worse than the other.
They kept buying time is what I realized because they would take their time with when the bed issue would be addressed. Robert the manager also told me that I need to give the bed time to air out (even though he swore the factory aired out the beds) so that the smell would go away or that I had to put a potato on the bed. I went to the store on a few occasions and each time Robert was like, "I have a great deal for you." I suggested we change the type of bed because my bed stunk and both Steve and Robert were aware.
They kept playing tag with refusing to take my calls and then Rob saying call Steve. Steve would not pick up the phone. Then when Rob would pick up the call he would tell me to call Steve. Tick tock - no one picks up. They had zero intentions of resolving this issue. Rob told me the type of bed I ordered was actually created incorrectly and that all the beds (RIZE EDGE HT ADJUSTABLE BASE. OPT 5 YR Dual Pwr Base Warranty. PAB TENCEL KING MATT PAD. NADIA LUXURY FIRM BLACK ICE MATT).
What I realized they had done was make sure I ran out of time b/c both Steve and Robert indicated I had a specific amount of months to cancel the order. When I tried to cancel one last time Steve told me Robert said I could no longer cancel the order. I called the 1800 number to complain and to demand I get a different type of bed and the women told me she call the store and spoke with Steve and he said, no. I want someone from Consumer Affairs to call out this company. I can't get a straight answer from the 1800 number because they send complaints back to the store. This is nuts and on the days I was in the store, existing clients were complaining about the products and Robert was working his con job by saying, "Oh you need to go to so and so store and they will replace your bed."

We had looked at one other place before going to Mattress Firm, but Mattress Firm was more convenient. The gentleman that we dealt with was easy to work with and he showed us right in the price range we wanted and didn’t try to push us into other areas we didn’t want to go. Not only did he find the range we wanted, he even found a special within the area that we wanted to buy. He really went above and beyond to find the best price possible. He did a great job. I purchased one of those memory foam mattresses and it’s great. Our old bed was a pillow soft bed and this one’s a little firmer which I like. Both my wife and I have had a few back problems at times and we both are sleeping much better now, so we’ve been very happy so far.

We were looking to purchase originally at the store which we bought the bed from, but they didn’t have the mattresses we wanted in stock, so we figured it would be easier to go to Mattress Firm, which is close to our home. We have three kids, and our son and daughter wanted a memory foam, so we had to buy mattresses for two out of three. We walked with three kids into a store full of 50 mattresses, and we didn’t really know where to start. Still, I felt like the reps were interested to help us narrow our choices down. They confirmed our target and what we were looking for, and then patiently helped the kids decide what color and anything to do with them, and gave them some time.
Our salesman, Dmitri or Dimitrov was really good with my kids. He played with the little guy and he was really great. We had a guest coming in town, and we really needed the mattresses to come, and for some reason, my son’s mattress was not able to get shipped on time. My husband called Randy, the store manager, and Randy made some kind of arrangements and was able to have it in, so it was great. My kids love getting a pillow with the mattress and both of them love their pillows. I think we bought one of the pillows, and the rep gave us one. Overall, we had a very good experience with Mattress Firm.

My experience with Mattress Firm was absolutely wonderful. They were two blocks up the block from where I live so I decided to go there. A lovely girl took care of me and she was very sweet and courteous. She asked me how I was and how she could help me. I told her I was interested in a queen size mattress, and she showed me and it turned out great. She was not pushy, annoying or trying to hit me with a bigger priced mattress. I was completely shocked when she said she could have it delivered within the afternoon, and an hour later, I had them at the door. The delivery guys came in and took our old mattress. Everything was clean, friendly and efficient.

Mattress Firm had a helpful salesperson. He gave me all the options to choose from and he didn't really push me to buy anything. He gave me all the information I needed and let me choose my own mattress. I felt like it fit my profile. The guy was doing a good job. I got a good deal, everything went easy, and it was a great service. I also got one of those foam pillow things. Their price was decent and reasonable as well. The mattress we bought from Mattress Firm is super comfortable. When I lie down on it, I halfway feel like you’re floating. Also, the reps were very good and helpful. We had just been looking at Sleep Number and they were just way too much. And then we saw Mattress Firm and decided to keep it good. Their sales rep was very good. He let us do our own thing and I like that. Also, he answered our questions and was not pushy. If someone's pushy, we're gone. If someone's trying to be a salesman, we don't pay attention to that. Then the delivery team was fabulous. They were from Indianapolis and they brought it down. Our bed was still there 'cause my husband just got out of the hospital and I told the guy, "We haven't moved the bed." And he said, "That's okay. We'll take care of it," and they did. They were very nice and polite. I don't fall out of the bed. Our other one which was 20 years old just rolled me right out of the bed. We have two cats that sleep with us and they like it too. I've done business with Mattress Firm in the past and we had a good experience. We got mattresses, box springs and frames and had a very good experience with their sales reps. The two gentlemen that did the delivery were very nice. Unfortunately, they did not speak much English, so trying to converse with them was very difficult. I wanted soft mattresses for my kids and Mattress Firm is right around the corner from my house. The salesperson was good, knowledgeable and very helpful. I bought one twin mattress and one queen mattress from them. I had the mattresses delivered but there was a little bit of a problem with the automated computer call that I got the day before the delivery. Since the delivery time wasn’t good for me, I pushed the button to say no. Then, there was a prompt to reschedule and I pushed that button. It was gonna connect me to a store, but then it just dropped the call and didn’t connect me anywhere.
That was on a Friday and I thought that I had canceled it, which I had. The team never came and didn't deliver anything, so I called back around Monday. The guy said it showed that the mattresses have been delivered. I told him nothing was delivered and explained to him what happened. It was a mess. They couldn’t figure out what had happened.
When the mattresses were finally delivered, the guys who came thought that they were picking up the other new mattresses. It just was confusing. But everybody from the delivery team was great. They were really good, very polite, and helpful. Then, my son didn’t like the mattress we got him as it was too hard. So, we had to change that for another one, and that process has been very easy. Other than that, it's been a very good experience with Mattress Firm. I highly recommend them.

Mattress Firm was local and I had heard through word of mouth that they had good quality. But the first mattress that I got from them wasn’t firm enough. I had it for a month and it didn't feel like the one that I tried on at the store, so I ended up having to go back to the store and switching and upgrading to another mattress. The representatives that I dealt with were very good and knowledgeable, and the delivery crew did very well too. People should try the mattress out in each store to make sure that the mattress they get is one that they tried out at the store.

The original representative, David, was good. He was was real nice and I liked him. But the other representative, Tony, was kinda like a used car salesman type of thing. He's a younger guy that has a fake tan and very used car salesmanny like the ones you see on TV or something from TV shows. You don't know who you're gonna get. He was gonna totally rip us off of $500 which I did not appreciate at all.
The first bed was horrible and apparently, it was defective. I had surgery so it was really bad for my back. It was kinda mushy or something like it just gave in at the middle. Then I was unhappy with the next product because it was extremely different than the floor model. Even though it was listed as firm it did not feel that firm. I was fine with what it felt like at the showroom floor, but then, the model I got was like a piece of plywood. I called and said, "This is extremely different than the showroom." And they said, "Well, a lot of people stop at the showroom. Maybe somebody can walk around on the bed for you. Or since you have an adjustable bed there, just adjust it a lot." They also said that it depends on the coil in the bed, whether they call it firm or not, although it might not feel firm. And we waited again for 30 days. I've had back surgery and everyday my back was in horrendous pain. I started sleeping on the sofa or on a different bed.
And finally, when we went in, I was going to get a clearance model bed that I liked, and I knew the bed was $400 and we had paid $1,000 for the mattress. And Tony said we already used our exchange. We said, "No. We are entitled to two is what they said and our first one was defective. So, this is actually our first exchange." And then, he tried to say that we could not go down in price and I said, "We could go up or down in price, that it didn't matter."
So, when we were in there, Tony who is the assistant manager, the mattress I was interested in I know was selling for $499 and I asked him the cost of the clearance mattress 'cause the price was not on it. I wanted to make sure it was still $499. And he said, "Hold on, let me look." And then he came over and said, "What's your phone number?" He looked up our contract, which he really did not need to do to tell me the price of that bed. I know that a clearance bed doesn't hold the same warranty as a new bed, but at this point, I just wanted a bed. I kept going back to it since it was the most comfortable.
So, Tony comes back and goes, "I'll tell you what I'm gonna do. This is a great deal for you. We're gonna work this out and we'll even exchange and you won't owe us any more money at all." I laughed at him and I said, "No. We won't owe you any more money. You'll owe us $500 'cause I know the price a few weeks ago was $499 for this." And then he tried to say how we weren't allowed to go down in price and so we just left the showroom that night. I said, "You know what? I'll think about it," and left the showroom because obviously, he was not gonna be a fair person to work with on exchanging the bed.
We came at a different day and there was a different guy there and I asked him about Tony. He's the one who said he was an assistant manager. I said, "He really shouldn't be working there because I'm only gonna exchange, but I would never go back to Mattress Firm because you can't trust the salespeople. Apparently, it's all about how much profit you're gonna make off of this bed and not about people's comfort." They're obviously making a commission, so you're not gonna get the same price as somebody else. He was gonna sell that $499 bed to us $1,000, which to me is theft. He was gonna steal from us. So, this guy who we most recently had talked us into exchanging the bed for a model similar to the first one but it's pillow top. And so far, the bed is working out okay.

We just moved to the area, so we needed a mattress ‘cause we didn’t have one. Mattress Firm has locations everywhere and they always have a sale. I got a queen-sized mattress and a platform to go with it. Their sales rep was very helpful and informative. He helped us narrow down our likes and dislikes between me and my wife and what our needs were, and it refined our decision process to the mattress that we chose. The only dissatisfaction I had, which I told Mattress Firm about, was that the delivery team didn't consult me in terms of the bed preference of the bed height itself. The platform has adjustable legs and they installed them at the tallest setting and drove away so I needed to adjust that.
In spite of that one shortcoming, it was a very easy and quick delivery. Having a trial period for the mattress to see if I like it or not is quite valuable and appealing. It’s always good to have the 100-day free trial. If we don't pick a winner we can go back and try again. Mattresses are so personal in terms of likes, dislikes, and needs, but so far, we’ve chosen the right one. We are fairly happy with it, and I’m sleeping much better than we were on the previous mattresses.

I bought two sets of mattresses from Mattress Firm. A friend of mine recommended them and different people had been telling me that was where I needed to go. When I went to the Mattress Firm store with my sister, everybody was so nice. I know where I'm going from now on. I bought a queen size bed and a regular set of four for my son in the extra bedroom. The delivery guys came in and they were so nice too. They removed the old mattresses and brought the new ones in and set them up. Everything was ready for us to put the sheets on. Every time I saw my son, I asked him how he liked the bed. He said that it's the most comfortable bed that he has had. It's hard for him to sleep and he said that he hasn't had a good night's sleep 'til now but with this bed he had the best sleep he has ever had. My son and Amy loved the bed. The bed is so nice and the covers are pretty.

Their sales rep seemed to know what he was talking about and he let us try out two different beds, and he was really helpful. Both of Mattress Firm's sales reps in the store were very helpful. The first one who came and approached us was very friendly and answered all of our questions. And then the second guy handled everything perfectly, answered all of our questions, showed us the different models and helped us find the right mattress. I was looking into buying a new mattress and I went to different places. Then I went to Mattress Firm's store in February and the guy I met the first day was very helpful. He demonstrated the use of the beds that he has on the store and I was interested. I bought a Beautyrest Bridgewater mattress and received it almost the end of April. The experience was good and the service was nice, but the thing that made the experience unpleasant was that I was waiting for it and they didn’t deliver for three times. They didn’t have the base and came twice just for the base.
Another thing I didn’t like was that they knew the base I wanted but they were trying to swindle me to take the base of a different one. If they didn't have what I want, then they shouldn't have tried to deliver. I received what I wanted after about three months though. The last thing I didn't like was that the two guys who delivered the mattress didn’t take the old mattress and just left it on the 9th floor. They were supposed to take it in the basement. Because of that, the building manager gave me a violation. But, I’m so happy about the product. If I have a chance, I will stop by again and get a head bed to match the bed.

I moved out of my parents' house and got my own place. The place I normally buy mattresses from was closed so I ended up buying from Mattress Firm. The rep I dealt with was good and helpful. The mattress that I got was a refurbished one, a mattress that was brought back, and she told me that it looks brand new and that it was no different from buying a brand new one. They brought it out all wrapped up and they opened up the tail-end of it where I could see it but I didn't get to see how it looks like fully because they didn't take the plastic off. Then, when I got home and took the plastic off, it was filthy on the side and it didn't look brand new. And they told me that I can't return it. I've had a Jameson and they’ve never had a rule like that. My parents said that they were gonna buy from them but after seeing what I got, they won't go there.

However, my husband hates the mattress. He’s a bigger guy and he says he can’t sleep in it and it’s too hard. He wants to go to the store and choose a pricier one with a higher quality. I needed a new bed and I saw that Mattress Firm had a promotion going on. I went in there first to check out some of their beds and the representatives in the store were very helpful. I went online to order a king-size bed. It was a little scary doing it online, but the reviews were great. I also liked that they have 160 days to exchange if I didn’t like the bed, and I could come back and get something else in the store. They delivered by FedEx and the guy helped me get it in the house. The bed was really heavy, and getting it in the room and setting it up was a bit much. If I do it again, I wouldn’t have it delivered. Other than that, Mattress Firm was great.

I dealt with Mattress Firm before and I made two purchases from them again in the last four months. I got a new bed for another person in the house and she's doing fine with it. I also bought a foundation to go with the bed that I sleep in, and it's better as well. I had a good experience dealing with the Mattress Firm reps and when I followed up with them on my second order, the lady that I talked to was very helpful. Within that same day, they got everything straightened out. When their crew delivered the California King bed, they came in, put together the frame, and put the mattress on top of it. Then I had to put together the foundation and put the mattress on it. I was hoping to have the delivery crew to do some of the other work but because I ordered it online, that was the way I got it. Still, I would tell my friends to get a mattress from Mattress Firm.

We found Mattress Firm and we liked them for their good price. Their product is really comfortable. My wife and I really like it and the adjustable bed frame is cool too. We tried almost every single bed in the store before we found the one that we liked but the sales rep was insistent on helping us find a mattress there, so we found one and it was good. During the delivery the crew set the bed up but they set it up a bit too high and they left before they had a chance to adjust it. I had to ask them to come back out and lower it and put attachments on for our headboard. A different crew came back not even a day after I called and it was fine.

I was needing a new mattress and I was having dinner when I saw the Mattress Firm sign on the building across the street. I went over to the store and the prices sounded good, so I went ahead and bought a bed, a box spring, and a couple of pillows. The young sales lady was excellent. She explained that I got 45 days and if the mattress is not what I exactly want, then we can figure out something else. She was very personable and very pleasant to talk to. Even the guys who did the delivery were excellent. They did it real quick and were in and out with no problems. The mattress is very good and I like it. It’s also very comfortable. I purchased from Mattress Firm before and I had a good experience. They were local and I could go in there and see the mattresses. I recently purchased two different mattresses from them. One was a pillow-top and the other one was a straight mattress. One of them was a Sealy. I first went there with my daughter, then I went there the second time with my husband. I was only going in for one mattress, but I ended up with two.
The sales representative was awesome and he was very helpful and really great to us. He just let us shop and he wasn't in our faces trying to push us towards anything. But when he could tell that we liked something, he went over and told us about it. He asked us what we were looking for and if we wanted something soft or something harder, and he told us which mattresses were the ones that we were looking for. We went in and paid for our purchases and he gave us all the measurements ahead of time because my daughter wanted a larger bed and I wasn't quite sure if it was gonna fit. So, they gave me everything that I needed, such as the sizes and the pricing, and it was fine.
The delivery was good and the guys who came here were really nice and very clean. But I felt bad because the delivery was on a day when we had torrential rains and they worried about getting the floors wet. They brought everything they could into the house, but they did not have the frame for my daughter. I needed a whole new frame for her because her bed was a new size. So, they left everything and put my mattress in. We just left our daughter's old bed up, although she was disappointed that she still had to sleep on it. But I felt worse that the delivery guys came in all that rain and then they couldn't finish what they came for.
I called back and Mattress Firm rescheduled the delivery of the frame. Then, a few days later, a different set of delivery guys came with the frame and they put my daughter's bed together, and it was all good. I would definitely go back to the same place. I would tell people that my experience with Mattress Firm was great and the salesperson was very nice, and I'd probably give them the name of the salesperson because I still have his business card.

It was my first time to purchase from Mattress Firm, and I got the Sleepy's Cool mattress. The rep I dealt with was good and attentive. I decided to pick it up from the store. However, when the delivery truck dropped off the mattress at the store, the guy took it out of the box for some reason. The salesman also said that was unusual. I had to transport the mattress in the bed of my truck, which was fine, but I would rather have had it in the box. Nevertheless, I would recommend Mattress Firm.

I saw Mattress Firm's sale and I needed to help someone out. I bought a full-size mattress and gave it. The rep was wonderful and a great salesperson. He was accommodating, thoughtful, caring and considerate. He scheduled the delivery for me and gave me the number as well as the time to call when I wanted to pick it up. I needed a king size bed because the kids like to sleep with me and we end up having four people in our bed at once. But we were moving so we had a bunch of expenses. So I needed the biggest, cheapest mattress. The Mattress Firm sales rep kept pushing me for more expensive things though. But when I came in and gave the people our money, they were super cool and I liked them better than the first guy. We picked up the mattress and I would love to sleep in my bed, but I just had a baby and he kicks me out of the bed.

My mother and aunt both went and bought beds from Mattress Firm. When I needed a bed frame for my new bed I got one from Mattress Firm and I love it. The sales reps were really nice and very helpful. Then I had the bed frame delivered and their guys were great and nice. They put the bed together for me.

Our house is under construction and we needed a new bed, and we got a Sleepy's Rest Firm from Mattress Firm. My son purchased from them this past year and he suggested it saying he had a good price. Our mattress has the adjustable back and leg that lifts up. The sales guy named Gamal was really good, but we had a terrible experience with their delivery team. We live on 31st Place and for some reason, the place did not get put on the correct writing. They called my son and he said to them that they were on the wrong block. They finally got here and took pictures of my mailbox and I just made sure they were in the right place. After that, it was okay. Those guys were good and the delivery of the base was perfect. It was a good experience.

He was professional, easy going, friendly, and helpful. He made us feel comfortable and made sure that he was gonna get us a good deal. We bought The Beauty Rest Memory Foam from Mattress Firm and we don't like it. We've only had it for two weeks and it has already sucked in. Mattress Firm said we have 120 days to change our mind though. Also, it was our first time purchasing from them and the sales representative was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, and she wasn’t pushy. She gave us our space so we could look around. Mattress Firm was a real pleasure to work with.

I was moving and I didn't have a bed. I liked Mattress Firm's advertisement and I decided to purchase from them. I got a Simmons Beautyrest mattress, box springs, and a frame. Their sales representative was very informative, cordial, low key, and joyful. However, during the delivery, I watched the truck drive up to my apartment and the delivery guy threw the mattress out on the ground and it bounced. I felt that was inappropriate in a sense that it could have damaged the mattress. he could have just lowered it to the other individual instead of throwing it. Other than that, I assume the bed was okay. And so far, I'm still evaluating it because I have a back issue and it might be a little bit too firm for me.

I needed new mattresses for all my beds after I bought a brand new house. I went to Mattress Firm and started off with one individual that didn't lie. The focus was automatic on the customer and they asked questions on how I sleep and if I liked firm or soft. They offered something that was nice and perfect for my sleeping. They then fixed the pricing up for my budget. I bought five standard size Comfort Cloud Memory Foam Pillows, two queens and one king size memory foam beds mattresses and I bought box springs for each one of them. The delivery guys came when they said they were gonna come. They also threw in the clips for the mattresses and the protector which was a nice gift and gesture for the price I paid. I was satisfied and if I had to do it again, I’ll do it again at Mattress Firm.

My husband and I purchased 2 of the Garrison Legends Extra Firm Mattress Twin XL Prime solely based on the salesman representation as being the 'best' mattress they have and their firmest on August 9, 2017. After having the mattresses for only a few months, our quality of sleep has tremendously deteriorated as the mattresses are no longer firm and it's hard for us get out of the beds in the morning. My husband and I are 80 and 84 years of age, as you can imagine, this has become a strain to our health.
On April 2, 2018, I went into the Mattress Firm in which I made my purchase and spoke with the same salesman because during our prior telephone conversation, he advised me to submit a claim via "Warranty Form". While in the store, he pointed out exactly where the form was located on the website. On April 3rd, I submitted my form (Case# **) and a few days later April 9th, I received an email requesting that the claim had to resubmitted because the requested photo's of the box spring and frame we not included. I tried countless times to call the phone number on the website 877-331-9420, and anyone could be reached.
I would like the attention of manager or CFO to request a full refund because the quality of the merchandise that was sold to me does not match its description and this is false advertisement. I think Mattress Firm is taking advantage of me and avoiding a needed conversation regarding my purchase. Why can't Mattress Firm send a representative to my home to see the mattresses for themselves? I'm 80 years old and there is no way my husband and I remove the mattresses and box springs to submit the photos. To the best of my ability, I've send the photos of the mattress, labels, sales receipt... etc.
I'm owed the opportunity as a consumer to discuss my dissatisfaction of this purchase and a refund. My goodness, we haven't had the mattresses for a year and we cannot continue to sleep in such discomfort. I plan to continue to pursue this matter until I'm heard and refunded. Note: I've also called the retail store several times for assistance and guidance, to only repeatedly hear, that I have to speak to claims dept. because this is a matter of the mattress quality.

We purchased three beds, two frames and one platform from Mattress Firm and the quality is good. In the store, the bed was a lot softer than the one that we actually got but I’m thinking over time, it will get softer. The rep at the store was great. We were there for a while and were very indecisive. She helped us for about an hour and threw over different options. We asked a lot of questions and she was very informative.
We had the products delivered in two separate times and they were fine the first time. There were a couple of boys who came in and took the bed up. Everything went well. The second time, they did well too, except for the man that I could smell so bad, like body odor. I was trying not to worry about it but it was gagging. Nonetheless, we tell everybody about our bed. My husband's mom wants one because we got one of those platforms that move.

I needed some new mattress and I had been hearing about Mattress Firm. When I went there, the sales rep was very nice and asked me what my price range was. She explained the difference to me and showed me several mattresses. She helped me minimize to what I wanted and stayed within my range. I love the queen-sized mattress that I got and I was gonna pay cash, but I did the credit to help my brother. He came in and she got his information and we went from there. It was an easy 5-minute process and I wasn't in the store 15 minutes.
She had to order it because she didn't have it in stock and I was on my way out of town too. She told me it'd be ready the next day, but I waited four day and then I went there and picked it up since I stay just 1.2 miles away from their location. Mattress Firm provided very good service and I told somebody how easy and convenient the experience was. The price was also reasonable. I also told friends in the neighborhood to go there and I sent somebody in.

We were visiting our son and he bought a pillow at Mattress Firm earlier. We slept on it and liked it so we decided to get one. Mattress Firm’s rep was really friendly. He showed us around and he showed us a couple of beds. I had a great time and I bought a couple of nice pillows. They make me feel cool. When I try to lower and put my head on the pillows, they're cool and they seem to be doing the job. I really like them.

First of all me and my wife had a mattress that was way too firm for many years. We decided to go to Mattress Firm to purchase a new mattress. The very first bed we laid on we were in heaven. Also we thought the bed was extremely comfortable. The salesman said, "That is a medium in firmness. You should try a firm." I told him, "Oh no we've had a firm. Not going down that road again." We took his advice. We laid on it. Me and my wife looked at each other once again. "This is fantastic. No wonder why we haven't slept for years properly." We were sold. Didn't need to go any further. Little to our surprise upon delivery the first night sleep was just as uncomfortable as our original bed. Very firm.
Called up and contact the company. They said, "You have to give it at least 72 hours because they store their mattresses in refrigerator conditions. They need to thaw right." I laughed but what would it. Our second night was just as bad. I was third night was just as bad. We told him we want to exchange it. We had to pay a $80 to have the mattress exchanged so we did. We bought a soft this time because we laid on a soft and it felt just right. Our first night sleep was trying to get out of a bean bag. Was way too soft. Nothing like what was in their display. After one night we return that mattress as well. Now we went with a medium. When that was delivered nor me or my wife were home but my father-in-law was who is 80 years old. And trustworthy like I am you think everyone that you hire knows what they're doing 'cause that's what you're paying for.
So when I came home and my wife came home sort of mattress was praying. Now after all this time that hopefully we will get some sleep but the mattress had stains all over it like somebody urinated all over it. I called the store immediately and demanded that they bring us a mattress because we need it. Want to sleep on. Took pictures and sent it to them to no avail would they be able to do so. It took him an additional two extra days to finally deliver us another mattress and they wanted us to pay another $80 but we got them to take that off. Good luck trying to find anybody that's a real manager if you make a phone call to the corporate office which I still believe is in Texas somewhere. What you actually reach is another store in that state. They have some game that's going on. It's called passed the buck.
Well after not giving up I received my $150 credit through the loan department from where we finance our mattress. Need I remind you over $2,000 mattress. It's a shame. It's like purchasing a car. Nobody is honest anymore. Where is this country going? We don't make anything anymore and the things that we sell we don't make and we swear by them. I hope and pray one day that the real America comes back so please pay attention. This is a true story. I have photos of proof to this day as well I will never buy from this company ever ever again and I hope and pray that no one else has this nightmare happened to them. And what I am definitely saying is and I hope it's investigated.
The mattresses that are on display and the mattress that you actually purchase and bring home are two different things. They'll tell you it's because they're already broken in it's a bunch of nonsense. It's a bait-and-switch game that they have going on and one day it'll be out there so everyone will know not to purchase from Mattress Firm that used to be Sleepy's. I had a high mattress before and it needed to be lower because I have a knee injury. The Mattress Firm sales representative was excellent and she came down from the Tucson store. I liked her thoroughness in explaining everything and she was very knowledgeable. The delivery went fine but they brought this thing which really lowered the bed too much that I just couldn't deal with it. So we ended up spending another $200 and put in another product which worked out fine for me. Also, we did not like the pillows that came with the mattress. We used the Mattress Firm pillows for two nights and that was it. I was having headaches a lot and when I switched over to the regular pillow that I was using before, that got rid of the headache. I'm so used to a king size pillow.

I have the Mattress Firm's Sleepy's. The rep was awesome. He was very good in helping us find what we needed exactly. And also, he helped us to decide if we needed a mattress protector. So we got the mattress, the protector, and the pillows. We got everything we need. My husband was home when the items were delivered and everything went pretty well. Overall, we like the products. I would tell my friends that if they need a mattress, they should go to Mattress Firm.

I had a queen-sized bed previously purchased from Mattress Firm. In the store, my interaction with the sales representative was good. But overall, he didn't do what I wanted him to do because I have wanted another queen-sized mattress and box springs like I previously bought. He gave the next best thing, something similar to it.
However, my understanding when I was sitting and we were going over the paperwork is that the salesman's gonna do the Queen-sized and I said yes. That we're gonna do the Queen-sized bed that I previously purchased, and not the one we were testing out. He said okay, but then, I went and said that the price was a little different. Then the salesman said that they now sell the mattress and the box spring separately. Also that day, they were offering 20% off.
But they delivered the wrong bed. In fact, the delivery guys had to come back because at first, they delivered the wrong mattress, and then on the second trip, I noticed it was a completely different bed. Once I talked to the salesman, he said they don't have those anymore. The queen-sized bed I previously purchased has been discontinued. So I asked why he didn't say anything. I knew something was off because of the cost. So now, I'm stuck with a bed that I didn't want. Worse, I didn’t get any extra discount and the 20% that I got went off the bed but it was the same because of the box spring. I did not save anything.
And when the headboards came to my place, the delivery guys didn’t have any hardware, so they couldn’t hook the bed up to the frame that I previously bought. I called and complained about that and the representative said that he could give me one, but I would have to come by. I told him I'm not coming to get them myself 'cause I'm angry. And so a couple of days went by 'cause my help who helped me attach it got a life too.
Eventually, I went to go hook the headboard and finish everything up. But it does not even fit. It's not wide enough. I told them that they sold me a headboard and it's not even wide enough or long enough to attach to the frame. The representative insisted it sure is. In the end, he told me to come to their store and he'll give me the Master Craft. So far it's been nothing but the board and I'm dissatisfied with Mattress Firm.

I had purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm before and I was satisfied. However, I lost that mattress in a flood. This time, I purchased two mattresses and two adjustable bed frames. The sales rep was excellent and very personable. With the new mattress, I don't get up with a backache and my legs hurting anymore. So far, I’m satisfied with the product. Still, at that time they delivered it, I should have had some help in putting the mattress cover on.

I bought a foam type mattress for my mother and the assistant manager was very good, polite, helpful, informative and knowledgeable. She was by herself but she didn’t rush me. It was, all in all, a good experience. In addition, the delivery was on time and went perfectly. I sleep on the mattress when I take care of my mother and it’s very comfortable.

There's a Mattress Firm store a block away from our house where I bought a memory foam mattress and the box spring. The sales representative was good and very personable. The whole bed is for a bedroom that we’re not using yet so I'm a little nervous about not using it within the 120 days that I have to determine whether or not it’s the mattress for me. This time, I got a Beautyrest from them and I had a very nice, helpful and knowledgeable rep. I scheduled a delivery and the delivery people were an hour early. Everything went fine. We went into Mattress Firm and James went into our area and gave us the background on a mattress. He gave us a really good deal so we decided to go that route. He was a darn good salesman and was willing to be patient with us and figure out what we want. We bought the adjustable base of the bed and the hush mattress. However, I was not impressed with the delivery. The delivery instruction says something about wearing booties on their shoes, but that didn’t happen. We were on the third floor and the two gentlemen that delivered the mattress and the base, dropped the base halfway up the steps. And they used our tools to put the bed together. It seemed like they were in a bit of a hurry and didn’t really show us how the bed works. They just said, “Here you go,” and left.

I hope there was an option to give 0 stars... I wanted to buy a mattress and adjustable bed for a long time. Google suggested to go for Mattress Firm so I started to look for the available options on the website. For assistance, I started chatting with the salesperson and he was really patient. He even did the Amazon price matching. All is good. I was promised that the items will be delivered in 7-10 days. Mattresses arrived... but the bed base...there is no update about that. I have asked the customer care twice about rest of the order. Every time their answer is – “Sorry, we don't know the status of the order.” Plus they 'Lied' to me that they have created a case for my inquiry and will get back to me 'soon'.
Yesterday someone from customer care told me that no case was created for my inquiry. They just don't know for some reason - where is the rest of the order. All that customer care say is sorry... which I am sure they are not. I really regret trying Mattress Firm. What a terrible way to treat customers. They are really good and patient when you are giving them money... and after that... your suffering is really not their problem. My point is that I ordered from Mattress Firm. I don't care about who the end vendor is. My point of contact is Mattress Firm and It’s their responsibility to update any problem with the order. It’s my fault for choosing the wrong option.

Short and sweet and simple. Ordered a mattress. Was supposed to be delivered on Sunday. Received a phone call saying there was a glitch in the system. Will reorder another mattress. Received another phone call. They found one but not the same number. Glitch in the system say mattress different number, delivery on Tuesday. Change their mind. Could not deliver on Tuesday. Could be the end of the week. You've got to the end of today Tuesday April 1st 2018 to fix the problem. I want my mattress delivered tonight or I'm buying from somebody else. It won't be any of your affiliated stores guaranteed.

Purchased a mattress after trying out several and given a long sales pitch about warranty and what not. Husband and I asked questions and also told salesman we didn't need a box spring because we had a platform bed but he didn’t mention anything about it or how that would affect warranty. Now the mattress is sagging deeply and we wake up with pain every day. They denied my claim so now I’m stuck with a junk mattress I over-paid for because they only go by photos of the mattress which doesn’t show body impressions if no one is laying on it. They only want your money, they don’t care about your needs.

We were gonna get a new mattress and my hairdresser had told me he had bought a mattress from Mattress Firm. He wasn’t real pleased with the first mattress so he took it back, got a brand new one and he’s delighted with it. He also said the people were very cooperative. When we walked in the store, we liked it and got a good salesperson right away. I knew what I wanted in a mattress and then I tried a few of them there. Basically, I hate shopping and so when I find what I want, I buy it. But I’m still pleased with the whole experience.
We first had the store manager who started talking to us and turned us over to the salesperson. He then showed us the mattresses, told us the differences in them, pointed out a few things then went out on it. The items were right there where we can see everything. And it was not hard to figure out which is which. They also asked what I wanted in the mattress and so I told them. And there was no pushing us about it and they were very helpful and attentive. They let us shop and get the mattress we wanted. We were in and out of there in around 15 minutes.
Then the delivery went really well too. The team came when they were supposed to and they unloaded. They were real nice and set the mattress up and out the door. Everything was quick. Being real critical when it comes to customer service, I’m the first one to complain about somebody and first one to compliment somebody too. And I will definitely recommend Mattress Firm to anybody that I know of who wants to buy a mattress.

I had a great experience with my salesperson at Mattress Firm, Michael. It was my first time that I've ever gone there and I was super contented, which was great because I'm actually a picky person. Michael took his time helping me out and asked me a few questions as to what my budget was and what kind of mattress was I looking for. He worked with me really well and was really nice with my children too since they were there with me. He has to be one of the best salespeople ever with his customer service. It was amazing.
Not only that, but the mattress that I chose, which was the purple mattress, was perfect since I have a bit of a back issue, and so I am very contented as well. I bought a queen mattress for myself, and then I bought two twin mattresses like the mattress and the spring box for my two children. So it was three mattresses in total, which I bought it all at one time. The guys who did the delivery were good and very polite. They came in and I love the red carpet that they put in front of my door. I've never seen something like that, and I like the little detail. It was nice. They were quick and efficient. I even tipped them because they were that good. So I felt like they deserved it.

My mom had just gone in and bought a mattress from Mattress Firm the day before I did. We had been wanting one and so we went and did it. The rep was really great. In fact, my mom told me to ask for that guy specifically, and he helped us. When we were there it was the last day of the king for a queen sale so there were a lot of people purchasing mattresses. The computers were going really slow and it took us an hour to check out. It was a little bit annoying. I know they were very frustrated with the computers as well. We understood so it wasn't a big deal, but it stinks that they were all pinging at the same time. We decided to go with the mattress that had the cooling part under it because we both are hot sleepers and that would be a change from being hot and sleeping. The bed is still being broken in, but it has been great and we love it.

We were looking for a new mattress and we went into Mattress Firm. They helped us out in getting a deal for what we needed. The sales rep was good. We tried out different mattresses and he helped us pick out the right kind that we wanted. We bought an adjustable mattress and it wasn't really cheap. Furthermore, it took them five times to get our delivery right. We have the adjustable base and when they brought it out, the piece that attaches to the headboard wasn't with the base. The next time they came, they were supposed to bring out just the piece for it. And when they brought it, it wasn't the right one and they had to come out a third time. However, it still wasn't the right one. After the fifth time, they finally got it right.
We liked the first deliverymen who brought the bed out. The ones that came out the last time were good as well. However, we didn't really care for the ones in between the first and the last. When they came out the second time, they were supposed to hook it up to the bed, but they were just gonna drop it off at the door. My husband said that they were supposed to bring it in and put it on. They were confused. I don't know if they didn't know or didn't want to. Moreover, they didn't speak good English. If I didn't have to do the delivery part, I'd recommend Mattress Firm.

One day, I just walked in at Mattress Firm to look around and buy something. I had a good experience with their representative and I purchased a twin-size memory foam mattress from them. He was very informative about the mattress and answered all my questions. He was good at upselling and gave me a free master protector and threw in free shipping. The delivery of the mattress took a week 'cause they only deliver on certain days. But the delivery team came here very early in the morning. They were very professional. They came in, covered their shoes, brought the mattress upstairs for me and I set it up myself. The mattress is awesome and it's really comfortable. The first night I slept in it, I fell asleep instantly. And it knocks me out within 15 minutes every time I lay down on it.

I've bought mattresses at the same location over the last 20 years and had a very nice experience with the sales rep from Mattress Firm. I walked in and I already knew what I wanted. It was right there, ordered it and it was there the next day. They called before and after the delivery just to make sure everything went alright. There was no problem and since the delivery, the mattress has been fine.

We brought a Simmons Beautyrest Black Hybrid mattress and box springs which sit on a nice king size solid wood frame: wood side rails, wood slates (Ashley Furniture). The mattress was delivered in May of 2017 and we moved houses in September 2017. During the move the mattress tore at one of the handles, 5-6 inch tear. We submitted a claim and Mattress Firm never responded -- never emailed or called after we left repeated calls/emails. We then resubmitted our claim and finally got a response; they rejected our claim saying our bed frame is inadequate which has nothing to do with the tear.
Once you receive the warranty card you understand that basically they do not cover anything. One has to have a steel frame with only one center slate or if it is wood one must have at least 5 slates. Ours is three slates, each with a two legs, plus a large side rail which runs the perimeter of the bed. Not sure how one metal slate is ok but three wood ones with perimeter is not. Regardless the mattress tore the second time it was moved; within 5 months of buying it. Poor customer service and warranty. FYI: the warranty required it be filed with Mattress Firm.

My neck was hurting and someone recommended Mattress Firm to me. I bought some memory foam, mattresses and a headboard. The sales rep was nice. But the clerk in the store said that the delivery team would build it for me but he didn't build it. But in the end it's alright. We were able to put it together about 30 minutes. The bed is very comfortable.

I had a foam mattress and it had begun to sag on the side. I bought a new queen-sized mattress and it is much better than the old one. SCAM ALERT!!! At the fair there is a vendor MATTRESS FIRM selling and representing INFINITY MASSAGE CHAIRS. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! The sales reps will lie and misrepresent what they are selling and promise you the world to sign their documents, telling you not to worry. That they are a big reputable company and "we want our customers to be happy". Once you sign and pay them... they will NOT make good on their false promises! They will mislead you telling you an in-house representative will come by and instruct you how to operate the chair and also if you buy a warranty on an as-is floor model chair and there is an issue that they will replace the chair no questions asked... ALL LIES!

On 2/19/2018, I visited my local Mattress Firm location in Yonkers, NY - I was met by a woman named Nancy. She was sure to tell me about their 120-day no questions ask policy, however, she did not tell me that I would incur a $79.00 delivery fee if I decided to return the mattress. On April 16th, [Monday] I called to inform Nancy of my decision to return the mattress. The end result was she would have to speak to her manager and get back to me by Friday. I did not hear from them, so I called again on April 22nd [Sunday] and was transferred to her manager, Charlie, who began with a song and a dance; finally, he told me that he would have to get his district manager, David, approval for the return. Seriously! What happened to the 120-day no question ask policy?
Their customer service delivery is poor and deceptive. I read many reviews about Mattress Firm where unwitting customers like myself were scammed when trying to return a mattress. Mattress Firm should be required to post a sign in all their stores informing customers that their very generous 120-day return policy comes with a $79.00 delivery fee if you dare to return your purchase. Their behavior is shameful, and I need to be reimbursed the $79.00.

Well, I originally gave them a 5 star review until we reset my bedroom, got the mattress delivered and the delivery guys (sales guy Nick) delivered the mattress. Well they didn't tell me about the tear in the bottom of the mattress, to top it off before we noticed this I bought a mattress topper, and I never even took it out of the box, and they said I couldn't even return it. I haven't even tried to deal with the tear because it going to be a fight that I can't win, isn't even worth my energy. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I purchased a mattress, box, and metal frame from this company 2 days ago. The service inside the store was amazing. Angel was the representative who helped me and he went above and beyond to help me find the right mattress. However, the service I received on delivery was disgusting. I signed a contract that included "red carpet delivery" that was supposed to include protection on the floors and booties for the delivery persons. There were two men that showed up. One was in a Mattress Firm uniform and the other was in regular clothing: ridiculously tight fitting jeans, t-shirt, red scarf around his neck, designer sunglasses and sneakers. They came in did not lay anything down on the floor, nor wear booties. They removed my old mattress and brought in the new one.
During this time, the man not wearing the uniform received a phone call (a video call). He answered and the other man told him to hang up. The man waved him off and went outside to my porch where he discussed with his girlfriend when he would be home. This call went on for about 3 minutes. After, the two men began putting the new mattress in my room, I realized they were putting it on my old metal frame (that was broken). I told them that I purchased a new frame that was included in this delivery shipment. (I received email notification that it was in the shipment).
The two men looked at each other annoyed and I showed them my receipt. They spoke little English but did not know that I understand Spanish and my home is bilingual. The man not in uniform told the guy wearing uniform "crap, just grab it from the back of the truck." They retrieved the frame and as they were putting it together, the man not in uniform yanked up one of the legs of the frame and punctured a hole in my new box frame that they brought. He looked at it and says "uh-oh... Oh well, it's not a big deal" in Spanish. I replied in English "actually, it IS a big deal when you spend $800 on a new bed." They just stared at me and the one in uniform called someone from the company on his phone. He told the lady that the box spring came with a little hole and that I was complaining. He asked her to talk to me.
When he gave me the phone, I told the woman that they are the one who damaged my box frame and she said that I could call the store and they would coordinate a replacement. When I gave the phone back to the guy, he scoffed and told the woman it wasn't a big deal and "you know how THESE people can be." in Spanish. I paid a lot of money for an item from this store, for these delivery men to damage it in front of me and then bad-mouth me in front of my face and am expected to just deal with it?!
Then as they left, the man in uniform came back and said that I forgot to sign. He had the phone ready to go on the sign page. I signed and then went to read my contract to review what this supposed red carpet delivery included... to find that there it states that if you are not satisfied with your delivery to NOT SIGN. I was tricked by this man. He knew what he was doing and wanted me to sign so he could get off the hook! These men tricked me with the signature, tried to trick me by putting the new bed on an old frame), damaged my new bed as they were installing the new metal frame, dirtied my floors, and insulted me in my home. It does not get much worse than that. I will not be purchasing again from them.

Mattress Firm's rep was really nice. We picked the mattress up because we weren't gonna pay the money to have it delivered. We had it for a week, but we had to return it. I couldn't sleep on it because the memory foam's odor was so strong. I couldn't even walk in the bedroom. It was making me sick. When I went back to Mattress Firm about three days into it, the guy said to get some baking soda, stick it in some containers, put it under the bed and then walk on the mattress. I shouldn't have to spend $1000 on a mattress and then I have to do those shenanigans. That part was poor customer service and I was pretty put out by it.

The interactions with their reps were great. The crew that delivered the mattress was great as well. If I need another mattress, I’m hoping to go back there. Mattress Firm is the closest store to me, so I decided to buy from them. I purchased a box spring set to hold up the mattress up. I told the sales representative what I needed and he showed me the different products that they had, and he explained the difference. Then I picked something out and he rang me up, and I took the box spring with me that day.
Mattress Firm is an all-right place to buy a mattress if people need a mattress. But my suggestion would be to have more staff there. I had to wait a minute when I bought from them. The day that I was there, there was one guy working. When I got there, he was checking out the previous customers and scheduling their delivery. He was good and he did what he could, but by the time that he got around to helping me, there were two or three other people in the store and they were probably a little less satisfied because they had to wait longer.

I purchased two Simmons beauty rest mattresses and box springs (Queen and King) from you October of 2016, from 2711 Medical Center Pkwy, Murfreesboro TN. Right at the 1st year of ownership mark, we started really noticing the sagging in the king mattress set. Not only was it extremely noticeable, but uncomfortable as well. The ONLY reason I replaced my mattress of 11 years was that it was starting to sag. Being this was of great concern to me, before making this purchase, I went in your store and spoke with the salesperson multiple times. I was assured that the process for warranty claims was easy and effective.
I wanted to wait through the holidays, so early February of 2018, I followed the instructions online, sent an email with requested pictures. On March 1st, 2018, I received an email that stated they had determined that my mattress meets the manufacturer’s standards. BUT – As a valued guest, I had the option to 1 - get a second opinion for $39.95 – which is to schedule an appointment for an inspector to come to my home and inspect the merchandise. OR, I could get a 15% off coupon to make another purchase.
UMMM… I don’t want a coupon to make another purchase as I don’t like this ONE! So, I will set up an appointment for $39.95 to have an inspector come to the house. After many calls to an automated message that lead me in an endless infinity circle… I called my local store only to find out that the state of Tennessee does not have the option of an inspector!!! NICE!! I found the phone number to the corporate office to ask if this information was true, and apparently it is!! Way to go! Great customer service!
James, who was “supposedly a manager” at the cooperate office said I could send him the email and pictures and he would look to see if he could assist since the option of a home inspector was NOT an option in TN. A week later, no reply from James!!! 4/20 I send a reminder to him and quickly get the “I am sorry the manufacturer wouldn't be replacing the beds at this time due to the mattress not meeting the required measurements. You can always refile your claim online.” Really??? I am willing to bet that you did not even look at the case.

In October of 2017 we purchased the Cloud Luxury Mattress (3,799.99), the adjustable base (99.00) and a mattress pad (1.00) for a total of #3,899.99. When we left the store we understood that West Creek Financial was financing our purchase for $211.43 every other week for 12 months. I have since discovered that I am stuck in a Rental Purchase Agreement and on the hook for 52 payments equating to $10,999.20. The salesperson used deceptive tactics and we did not leave the store with the agreement, we never saw the agreement because we would NEVER have agreed to such outlandish finance terms! We never signed the agreement. It was electronically signed. If you are financing a mattress from Mattress Firm, insist on seeing what you are being told, read it and understand it BEFORE you leave the store!!! Otherwise, walk away!!! Their financing is a complete ripoff!

I give this purchase a 1 star because I was shipped my package without any screws/nails, Manual or any tools to help me put the bunk bed together. I have been speaking with the company but so far I’ve been told if I choose to return the order then I would be responsible for the shipping costs to return a product that was missing parts in the first place. I then asked the company if the least they can do is have someone come to my home & help me put the bed together at no cost to me because of the missing parts for the bed & the inconvenience that my daughter who is disabled has to wait for the company to send me the parts. Again, the billion dollar Mattress Firm Inc. Company refused my request & told me that they do not have an assembly service in place to be able to help me build my bed for my daughter.
I kind of find that hard to believe since you can request the bed to be professionally installed at the time of purchase online but of course at an additional cost. It is now a week later waiting & I just got a confirmation email that my missing bed parts are being shipped. The customer service side of this issue is not being delivered. I was hoping that a billion dollar corporation like Mattress Firm Inc. would care about the consumer. This is such a gross incompetent error on the part of the company to send a bed set without the necessary tools to put it together. The least the company can do is send someone to fix the bed & make sure that there isn’t anything else missing in the bed set. I digress, I will be updating this Rating & Review should any further changes be made with my order from the company.

First, we bought a mattress and adjustable power base from Mattress Firm and the mattress is very good, we like it. Things go downhill from there. We ordered in mid-December and were told delivery would be in a couple of weeks. The delivery guys showed up and only brought the mattress, no base. My wife called and was told none were available and wouldn't be until March. And as an FYI, after every fail with this order, my wife would be on the phone for over an hour either on hold or being passed from person to person.
We're both in our 60's... so we're supposed to sleep on a mattress on the floor? After another call, we were told they could send a metal frame with box springs as a loaner until the base was available. Fast forward a couple of weeks and sleeping on the mattress on the floor. The delivery guys show up. We have ordered a king size bed by the way. They bring the frame and one box spring. King size beds use two box springs. Another call. They can only deliver on Saturdays and it will be another couple of weeks, so back to the floor. They finally bring the 2nd box spring. Yeah, we have a real bed. That lasts about a month and we have heard nothing.
Finally on a Friday in March, they send a text and say they will be delivering the next day. Another call. We were going to be out of town and told them that we would not be available and do not deliver. The next day... get a call from the delivery driver, hey we're here to deliver your base..."WE TOLD YOU WE WOULDN'T BE THERE", take it away. Another call when we get back home. We were now told that it would be a couple of more weeks, which is into April. We were not given a date.
Get a text on a Friday saying that they would be there between 3-5 pm the next day, please confirm. My wife confirmed this delivery. We waited 3-5 pm, nothing. There is no way to get a hold of the delivery driver to see if they're coming and did not hear anything. It's 5:30 pm on a Saturday night. We figured it wasn't coming, so we went out to dinner. At 6 pm, get a call from the delivery driver, "I can't find your place, what are the directions?" We responded by saying, You were supposed to be here from 3-5 pm, we didn't hear anything so we went out to dinner, we're not there. Gave him directions and said to leave it at the front door.
He had to have a neighbor sign for it and left the base. We get home and the box, which is very heavy was left at the neighbor's house a couple of doors down. So I have to carry it to our house and up a flight of stairs. I accomplish this without any permanent damage to my physical being. I take the base out of the box, remember when I said that king size beds have two box springs, the same holds true for the adjustable base. They only delivered HALF OF THE BASE. Screw it, we're done with this... no more calls, no more waiting, we're just going to use the box springs and frame. While we like the mattress, we will not be using Mattress Firm for any future purchases.

Daniel lied to us when we bought the California King mattress. We were told it would be 8 weeks to build the mattress. The day of the 10th week I called Daniel ** about the delivery. He then informed me "that the CA Kings had been on backorder for months". Two days after we ordered the mattress he called to inform me that he had a loaner set-up for us and would be delivered the next day. After lied to me the 2nd time, I told him to completely cancel my order. The lies were bull and I wanted everything canceled.
I will not deal with such. Now, Mattress Firm only wants to pick the mattresses and leave me with over $2800 of bases, unopened sheets, mattress covers and pillows. Because the contract was null and void, I should not be liable for any of this. Upper Management was to talk to me by returning my call now 3 different times. I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW HOW I HAVE BEEN TREATED!!! I was just on hold for 29.46 minutes to talk to ANOTHER Customer Service person and was told to give them ANOTHER 24 hours AND then call Customer Service back - AGAIN if they haven't called. THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!

The first time I bought from Mattress Firm was five years ago and I had a very good experience with them. I bought a frame for about $105 for my king size bed and it was good. Then when I moved, I bought a queen size bed so I went back to buy another frame at their location in Chicago, Illinois. When I purchased it, the rep was a very nice lady. I picked up the frame and put it in my truck. I set up the frame but every time I get on my bed, I hear a cracking sound. I set up the frame right but I don't know if the frame is good or not. I’m thinking of going back and talking to the rep to see what is wrong with the frame. I paid $109 for the frame and I’m still using it. Mattress Firm has good beds but I just happened to get a bad frame.

We were initially very happy with our experience. However, when it turned out that the mattress was much too firm, our salesman became very angry when we wanted to exchange it, which we were told we had 120 days to do. It's true that it was only a week, but I have severe back and spine problems and after consulting my physician, I knew we had selected the wrong mattress as well as the wrong foundation, which was too high. I should not have been in so much pain from the mattress. We were told by the salesman that we would have to pay much more and would also have to pay for a new foundation instead of just the delivery price for the exchange as I had been told by another salesman earlier would be the case. (The mattress was too high and I have an issue with falling out of bed.)
When we said we couldn't pay more and would just keep the too high foundation, we were told we would still have to pay for the foundation we already had, but the salesman had a change of heart and said he wouldn't charge us. We paid the difference for the mattress, however. We have no objection to this; it is a more expensive mattress. I had been in severe pain from the first night with the first mattress, but after only one night with the new one, there is no pain. I think not exchanging the foundation without extra charge is unfair and a misrepresentation of the conditions of sale.

We did some fairly substantial research online and everything just seemed to line up that Mattress Firm had the best pricing in our area. We also liked the fact that there was a showroom geographically convenient for us, and that it was a no-hassle purchase experience. We went with a memory foam from their own line. The sales representative was professional. He laid out a couple of different options for us and helped us select what the best option was. He did not try to upsell us for his own gain. He was courteous, nice, explained everything in detail, the ins and outs of our warranty, as well as the standard procedures, and advised us as far as how the delivery was gonna go.
The delivery experience was also very streamlined. The delivery personnel was very professional and respectful of our home. So far, the mattress is working out very well and we are happy with it. I’m definitely sleeping better and my fiancé is enjoying it as well. It is definitely a big improvement over our old mattress.

The Mattress Firm sales rep was a nice gentleman and he was very helpful. I got a memory foam mattress but we will have to return it. We are not happy with the mattress, so we want to exchange it for a different one. The memory foam doesn't keep the firmness and the shape. It changed to the contour of our bodies, but it changed forever. It will not go back to its starting point. The mattress is not pretty flat anymore. It's shaped like us, but it's not something that we like. We like the feel at least similar to what was it at the beginning.
Because we have a king mattress, in the middle it's firm and that's the way we like it. I can feel the difference in the height of the mattress between the middle part and where we sleep and it's a very strange feeling. I went to the store and I'm gonna go back there with my husband to check one mattress that will be satisfying us. The experience with the salesperson and the purchase all together was very good and I'm really satisfied with everything until now.

I’ve had my mattress 3, maybe 4 years. End of year 2 I called to tell them that I have a sinkhole in my mattress and the sides are bulging out. I paid for the kit, sent back photos and never received a call or email as promised. I’ve called multiple times since then and all they say is that they cannot readily identify if there is an issues based on photos and keep trying to send a person to my home (at my cost) to verify damage. I’ve sent photos from every angle plus more and still nothing. I don’t want my money back I just simply want to exchange my mattress for one that isn’t broken after a year.
So frustrated! Every call they pretend like they have never heard of me, or that I haven’t submitted photos of my claim. A JOKE!! Someone in corporate needs to get involved at this point, there are days I want to throw this mattress in the trash because it’s made my back problems so unbearable but that’s throwing away over 1k and I just want to exchange my mattress.

I found the mattress that I liked and it was from Mattress Firm. It was a queen size. The person selling it was nice and he was very informative. He gave us the opportunity to check out different mattresses and didn't push the sale. The delivery went well too. However, it seemed like the one guy did more than the other guy. But we like the bed. It's a big difference from a waterbed and it is pretty much comfortable. We get a good night sleep and we also don't wake up with aches and pains.

Compared numerous competitors and decision to purchase came down to stated and written tear down and set up included in cost. When delivered installers said they weren’t paid to remove old mattress. Refused delivery and went to second company of choice. Totally dishonest either sales or delivery. At the consumers end the cause of the fraud doesn’t matter. Stay away from this company.

It was my first experience with Mattress Firm and the delivery piece was where I had a huge problem. At one point, I considered canceling the entire piece because we were that frustrated with the delivery service and how rude and unprofessional the delivery people were whenever they called. It just seemed like they had no care or concern at all.
On the first delivery date, the gentleman was supposed to arrive within a certain timeframe. I was at my office at 4 o'clock and he called asking for the code to my gate. I gave him the code. I told him that I was not at home and they were supposed to arrive between the 8:00 and 10:00 timeframe. I also told them that I won't be able to go home until about 30 minutes from the time we were talking. He said that he would only wait for 15 minutes.
And then on the second appointment that I had gotten, the gentleman was supposed to arrive within the same timeframe as the first and he called about 9 o'clock. He said that they were running behind and would not get to me until around midnight. I told him that I had to wake up at 5 a.m. and there was no way I would be able to accept the bed delivery at midnight. He then told me that they would have to reschedule.
Shortly after I went and took a shower and while I was in the shower, he called back. He said that they were calling to come and deliver my mattress but I missed their phone call. And I literally missed the phone call by three minutes. I told him that they were just three minutes away and couldn't be that far to turn around. He didn't even inform me that they would be able to make it before midnight. He said that he would come at 4 o'clock in the morning to deliver my mattress. I told him that we really needed it because we have broken down our bed and we were sleeping on the floor. Four o'clock came. We woke up. The gentleman never arrived and never called. So it took us four attempts to actually get the bed delivered properly.
I have been a customer service manager for 23 years of my life and I did a lot of leadership development. And I shared with the regional manager of our area that I know it wasn't their fault. One of the things that they found was that the driver took it upon himself and ran his route backward which was no fault of ours. However, it cost us to have to reschedule because we literally slept on the floor for three nights with our mattresses. But they worked tirelessly to get it consistently rescheduled. And what they did that I was very pleased with, was on the very last trip, the manager himself kept me posted on the delivery and made sure that we were gonna be able to get the timeframe and that the delivery men would stay on that timeframe. So I was very pleased in the end.
The sales rep was also very well relating to the things that we wanted in a bed. The one thing that I will say that was awesome to his experience, my husband and I, we're a same-sex couple. And some people tend to navigate away from people of the same sex. And he did such a stellar job in making us feel welcomed and made sure that the sales experience was phenomenal. He was friendly and approachable. He answered all of my questions and I felt confident in his opinion of referring what bed was best for us. And his recommendations were spot on. We felt very pleased with the product that we purchased. We decided to go with the adjustable base. The Sealy equipment that we purchased has the lounge capacity which was very comforting and very relaxing. We like to lie in bed and watch TV or read a book. And the salesperson made sure that we had the appropriate adjustable base that would fit our needs. It was a very durable product.
I told them that I would continue to refer business to them because my sales experience was wonderful and unbelievable. I spent about $400-$500 more with Mattress Firm than the person that I was initially intending on purchasing it through. And the sales experience made it to where I didn't mind spending the extra money for the service that I received.
If I were to refer someone to Mattress Firm, I would tell them to make sure to visit this certain store because the entire team there was so helpful. I would tell them that I prefer the gentleman who sold it to us who I understand is the manager of that location. He and his team would make them feel like a truly valued customer. The experience made me feel like I received something in return. But I would also advise that they might wanna look at a way to bring their product home themselves rather than rely on the delivery because that could be a negative experience.

I was looking around and trying to have the best deals. I did most of my research prior to me going in at Mattress Firm and they had the best price. I got a queen-sized memory foam from them and the rep that I worked with had no problem knowing what to look for or how to. He was knowledgeable about the whole product and it was an easy purchase for me. I picked it up and it took me one hour from research to grab out with it. Their customer service was also efficient.

The district manager contacted me back and was exceptional on how he addressed my concerns. Above and beyond my expectations. The store sales associate also followed up to ensure my satisfaction.
I heard that mattress firm made customer service a priority and they are truely delivering. I was expecting my issues to go unanswered and boy did they prove me wrong :). Mattress firm had turned me into a loyal shopper.

The salesperson repeatedly answered that the dream lux bed display model was "one of the few brands" that still has manufacturers warranty. Then I saw on the website that display models do not have warranties. This was verified by talking to a warranty specialist and talking to another clearance store. Followed up with my salesperson and again he said there was a warranty, not to believe the website or customer service agent. He said, "I've been here 5 years and wouldn't lie about warranties." And to just call him directly if I had issues.
Point here is while the salesperson tried to reassure me, my trust is now eroded due to everyone else in the company saying there is no warranty except for him. I have no guarantee that if the mattress has issues down the road that it will be resolved. ESP what if the salesperson decides to leave the company? What compliance does Mattress Firm have in place to make sure salespeople are saying the right things? This is really shady sales tactics. I do not appreciate it. Tried to reach district manager but no timely response. At the end of the day, I had to think through. Would I still buy the display bed knowing there is no warranty. For now it's yes, but it's a shame I did not get accurate info upfront. Might change this review rating depending on if anyone gets back to me. Thanks.

Our mattress was delivered and we tested for 30 days. That mattress was too firm and we wanted to exchange. We were told on the 1st of January that we didn't have to make a decision until the 13th because the mattresses were out of stock in the warehouse.
We had come back on January 11th and were told the mattresses had already sold out and it would be another two weeks before delivery. We decided on a mattress anyway and put our order in. We received the second mattress and after a few weeks of testing it out, we had to exchange because it was too soft. We woke up with really sore bodies and headaches almost every day. So we go back to the store. The manager, Will, seemed irritated that we were back in and gave me the runaround about trying to return the base if we upgraded to a king. Again, we are persuaded to hold off until the new mattresses came in. Which led to one delay after another. With only two days left in our "trial period", we had to pick a mattress. We upgraded from a queen to a king, could not return the adjustable base (which is now a useless waste of $500) unless we upgraded to a king size (for additional $$$).
So we picked the third mattress, a platform base and a mattress protector. I sign on the dotted line to finance $1,334 and talked into 36 months of payments. I was unaware the employee wasn't exchanging from the very first promo (like they did for the second mattress) and instead starting a new promo balance. Then a couple weeks later I look at my bill online and it's $2,700. We now have two promotional balances we have to pay on. One is 48 months and the other is 36 months. Which means we have a higher monthly payment. With our experience with the employees (three of them), the mattresses and the financing issues, we wish we would've just gone elsewhere. Now we're stuck with a high bill, a base we can't use and a headache from this mess. Still extremely unsatisfied and would love for someone to contact me. Or even come get all this stuff!

I trust Mattress Firm's products, and I purchased my third mattress from them. I got the complete bed set, box springs, and mattress. The first time I made my purchase, I did it in person, but I purchased this last one that I have without anyone live. My experience in using their website was fine. I liked the range of the prices and choices, so I can get pretty much what fits me, and I enjoy that. Also, I got what I paid for. The Mattress Firm product was delivered right away and the delivery team took everything that they needed to take away. Sometimes the companies will either not take the old mattress or leave their boxes around, but the Mattress Firm team didn't leave anything. I'm satisfied with the Mattress Firm mattress and I'd recommend it.

We needed a new mattress and the store was right there so we hopped in. Everything went well with the reps. We got the bed as well as the adjustable base and the bed has been good. We had it delivered but the delivery was not great. It was scheduled to be delivered on a Sunday, but I live on a Navy base and they didn’t send the right credential people to get on the base after we had informed them of that while we were in the store so it wasn’t delivered until five days later. There were two people on the delivery but one couldn’t get to the base because he didn’t have his correct credential, so I ended up having to help the one guy out. They have to make sure that they're on top of their game if they're delivering somewhere that needs certain credentials, but other than that, they were good.

We did a lot of mattress shopping and Mattress Firm offered a really good deal. The sales lady helped us out and I liked her a lot. She was pretty genuine. We bought a king-size mattress with an adjustable base. We had it delivered and had good interaction with the delivery team. So far, we've had a good experience with the mattress.

We purchased a king mattress today from Totem Lake Mattress Firm and cannot rave enough about the outstanding experience. Nancy was the prime sales person. She was exceptionally knowledgeable, efficient and able to answer all our questions. She took the time to explain the difference between the options - honored a price discount and managed to get the bed to us - same day delivery. I purchased from Mattress Firm before for several times, and this last time, I got a full bed set. I went there and I wanted certain things but I wanted to ask questions about other things as well. I was able to change my mind before if there was something about the mattress or if it felt better than other things. So, the sales rep showed me plenty of models and he didn’t press me to buy one over the other. All the times I've been in there, I've had that same experience. They’ve always been really nice about being sure that I have a chance to try different things that I might enjoy until I find the one I want. The mattress that I bought is very similar to the one that I had purchased before and I can tell it will be perfect. I've got to buy another bed, so I'm going to have to get back over there and get some information again.

Our mattress was damaged on delivery, we didn’t notice until the next day. Mattress Firm basically said tough, "It’s yours now and forget about warranty and 120 comfort return guarantee." It was unbelievable! This is not a company to do business with ever. They damage a $3000 mattress and say tough it’s yours, really. We haven’t given up, plan to contact NBC 5 consumer report, BBB and others.

We bought a Cloud Supreme Breeze mattress and adjustable bed. Love the ability to adjust bed. Mattress is so uncomfortable, I feel like if you get too close to edge will roll off bed. We both have backache in the morning. My husband has to be elevated but, he is so uncomfortable. This is the most we have ever paid for a mattress, we are so disappointed. We sleep on sofa. No backache in morning. It's been a nightmare. We used to look forward to bed, not anymore. It's not even 2 years old. We have to buy another mattress. Won't be going to Mattress Firm.

I liked Mattress Firm's service at the store. The rep took his time and explained the product very well. I bought the Dream mattress and I really like it. Mattress Firm brought it to me but the delivery wasn't great. There was terrible communication between the store and the delivery people. The delivery was a couple of days late and it was just a mess, but we finally got it resolved. Nevertheless, I would tell a friend who was asking me about Mattress Firm to get to that store that I went to and get the salesman that I dealt with.

Mattress Firm was right down the road and their sales reps were great. They knew what they were doing and were very accommodating. The delivery was fine but the product itself needed to be replaced. They came, picked up the bad stuff and redelivered. It was good and we got what we paid for.

People, make sure to figure out all the ** details before you pay these people. It's been 2 weeks since I already paid them $1500+ for mattress and still no delivery. I live in Manhattan and my building requires just two forms: Certification of Insurance and Liability Addendum. Despite the clear instruction, they only filled out COI and showed up at my doorstep! I took a day off. What a waste. My building didn't allow the delivery because they didn't fill out the addendum. Now after 10+ calls and several email, I still don't have the addendum signed which is required. There is so much miscommunication from Mattress Firm and their dispatcher company. Dispatcher company is the one responsible for signing the form and I don't have their contact (nobody does except for mattress firm). Anyways, in between all this mess, I'm stuck paying hundreds of dollars without delivery!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, LEGAL ACTION IS MY NEXT STEP!!!

I bought a bed on March 1, 2018 From Fabio at the South Austin location. Paid in full 1,400 and till this day I haven't yet received it. They sent it to the wrong address twice. Nobody called me to let me know that the person that was receiving the mattress denied it twice. Now they're telling me it's in loss prevention hands because someone signed for it and the signatures matched. There is no way that could even be possible because it went to the wrong address. How in the world would that lady know how I did my signature. Yeah not possible.
Every time I called to the store they tell me, "It's out of our hands." Corporate has to deal with that but they were real quick to take my money and they didn't offer any customer service after the bed went missing. I had to call them every time and made a police report for theft and forged signature. I am very disappointed on how these people treat their customers. It's been a month and all I am getting is no information. I am being pushed thru all these people that can't help me and it is very frustrating. The thing that has me wondering is why I received a denial letter on how I got denied for trying to use a prepaid card that I use for my company but they sent the bed to the wrong address.

A couple of friends of mine had bought beds from Mattress Firm and they recommended the brand to me. Mattress Firm has good deals, a lot of options in the store, and a good array of mattresses. I got an adjustable bed frame and a Beautyrest queen mattress that's a hybrid memory foam from them. Bill, the salesman who we've had purchased from, was fabulous and we liked him. However, the delivery team was about 45 minutes late from their window time when they came. Then when my husband talked to the Waynesville store manager Jordan because the mattress had holes along the sides of it with the seam, the experience was not good at all. Jordan was putting the blame on me because I let the delivery people leave before noticing that there were holes in the bed.
A guy then called me and we got our bed replaced. The second delivery team was more professional than the first. They wore booties on their feet when they came in the house which I appreciated because we don’t wear shoes in our house. I like the mattress and although it's a little too soft, it's pretty comfortable. I'd recommend Mattress Firm and tell people to request to speak with Bill because he was really nice. I'd also tell them to check the bed thoroughly before the delivery guys leave just to make sure it's in the condition it should be.

Mattress Firm is in the area where I live. I went in and looked at a couple of mattresses. I was impressed with the excellent customer service skills of John, the representative. He was very approachable and knowledgeable about the product. He was very helpful in selecting the correct mattress and in working with my schedule to try to get the delivery done on the same day. I also bought a box spring. I was going to a different company, but I decided to go with Mattress Firm. It's a good product and I really like it. I'm glad that I came and got it when I did, since it was time for me to get a new bed.

Purchased a queen mattress for my 14 year old son in mid December 2017 and by mid March 2018 there was a noticeable sag by a few inches. I followed the instructions on the Mattress Firm site and received an email one week later explaining that the mattress was still under warranty and so did indeed have a faulty product. I called to get a refund and was told that I was only allowed to exchange my mattress for a new one minus the $80 delivery fee and I would have to pay delivery again.
After over an hour on the phone I was told that a regional manager would contact me to discuss this and by the way my warranty is obsolete in 7 days. After that day my claim will not be honored. All I want is a refund for a service I paid for that was unsatisfactory. The manager has yet to contact me. If I had the option of a refund I would have gladly shopped for a new mattress at Mattress Firm but don't appreciate being limited considering the substandard product I purchased and followed the arduous process to report a claim.

I knew that Mattress Firm's products were as good as Sleepy's. I purchased some mattress from Sleepy's two years ago and I was very pleased and satisfied up until now with it. I like the memory foam top mattresses and when I went out to see what Mattress Firm had, the guy compared them to what I already had and found one almost exactly like it. It's a Beautyrest Recharge Signature Select and it's a good quality product. The sales rep who assisted me was very friendly, beautiful, and very helpful. He told me to return it if I didn't like it because it was in the contract that after three months, I could return it as long as I have kept it clean.
The delivery also went wonderful. I wanted the mattress down in the basement and I thought their reps wouldn't want to go down there but they said they'd give it a shot and they went all the way down. They told me they were to carry the old ones away, bring in the new one, and set up the new rails. But instead of taking the old one away for me, they put them in one patio back there where I wanted it. They were good and very patient with me. All in all, I would recommend Mattress Firm to my friends because I love them so far.

We initially bought a firm mattress from Mattress Firm and we tried it out for three and a half weeks. But my neck was killing me, so we returned it and they swapped it out, no questions asked, for a softer one. Our experience with Mattress Firm has been wonderful ever since. The rep, Terry, was great and she even followed up with a phone call to make sure that was the mattress we needed. They delivered the mattress to us and the delivery experience was fine.

I had decided to purchase a mattress from Mattress Firm because I thought I would get a quality product that would last me for maybe 10 to 20 years. I was very wrong to think this. I have had my mattress for about a year and it is already falling apart. I wake up with back pain because of the sinkhole I am sleeping in. The edge of the mattress has completely collapsed. This is unbelievable. I was talked into spending 3 times as much as I intended to, I AM STILL PAYING FOR THE MATTRESS, and it didn't even last a year. I'm also suspicious that I was sold a used mattress and I will be investigating this further. I DO NOT recommend anyone to shop at Mattress Firm.

We bought multiple mattresses over the years from Mattress Firm because we were successful the first time we did. We purchased a king size bed and headboard from them recently and I had a fine experience with their sales rep, Beverly. She seemed to know the products and she was very helpful. When the product was delivered, the guys were nice and they put it together. But there was a flaw in the bed. The top of it was flipping up when we sat on the end of the bed. They didn't seem to know what was happening so I called and talked to Beverly about it and sent pictures to her.
It was clear that the bed frame that they sold us did not fit the mattress. When I'm looking at the end of the bed, the rails don’t come all the way to the end or even close to it that’s why it was flipping up. She said that they had discontinued the old rails, and they were using these new ones with these new beds. She even said that they clearly did not fit. She let someone know right away in their corporate offices that that was the problem. She ended up giving us a footboard and rails that would fit the frame even though I didn’t want a footboard. If I was the person who wanted a footboard, I would be thrilled to death because it was a very nice footboard that matches the headboard but I still don’t want one. They shouldn't sell that frame with that mattress because it doesn't fit.
Even though I appreciated what she did and there was a cost to them to do it, I would rather have had just the frame that fits. We have a little bench we like to have at the end of our bed so our dog can jump on the bench to get on the bed. Now that we have a footboard, the bench sticks out further. He can still jump up there, but it's not flexed with our bed. It's pushed out. Other than that, we had good luck with Mattress Firm.

Mattress Firm is on the corner of where I live and it used to be Sleepy's. I know the workers in there and I used to work with a few of them and also grew up with a few of them. I was looking for a new bed and I went in there. A rep sat me down to explain things to me, and they did a good job. They took and checked my credit. I have a wonderful credit and I had $1,500 that I could spend if we bought the bed. There was a sale that was going on, so I ended up buying one of Mattress Firm's soft beds. I have a bad back and I needed something that was going to be comfortable with my back. The delivery team brought the bed to me and made the bed up for me. My sleep is much better now and I'm not waking up every time. I'm definitely happy with it and I've recommended Mattress Firm to a friend.

After purchasing this mattress we eventually found that there were bed bugs in the bed. While trying to exterminate the bed bugs we reverse the mattress and saw at the bottom of the mattress a bug staying. The stain is not on top. It is not in between reuse mattress covers. It was a big stain on the bottom of the mattress. A picture will be forwarded if you so desire.
Updated on 06/04/2018: Today I spoke with a representative from Mattress Firm who said he could do very little because I would need to have a license exterminator come in and rectify the problem. I initially submitted this complaint over 4 months ago and have since attempted the debugging house myself by buying spray and may have been successful. I advise the individual that we would be moving out for a few days and would review we sprang out. He said he could do very little unless he had a license exterminator. I again said that that would be OK because I will not get a license exterminator. I still have not had the issue addressed of the big stain in the bottom of the mattress which I explained to him was still they are. This is unsatisfactory.

Alcove Hybrid King Mattress - I purchased this mattress 9/16. 17 months later there is a huge sag in the bed. Salesman ensuring me this should be the last mattress I would ever have to purchase. My sale price was $2125.34 out the door only because I bought a floor model. So a little more than a year into it I have a bed with a huge sag in it and Customer Service will not do anything for me Because it was a floor model. You have to take six different measurements and photos and send them into customer service and they said, "Sorry. Cannot help you."
So the only way they would’ve helped me is if I paid the $5400 for the mattress which would be the same mattress that I paid $2125.00 for. This company does not and will not stand behind the product that you have purchased from the floor so please save your hard earned money and go to a store that can take care of you. I still have to go buy another mattress because this one is poorly made. Very Disappointed.

I got a Beautyrest pillow top twin mattress from Mattress Firm, and I’m enjoying it. I had very thin and hand-me-down mattresses before and the springs were also popping out of. This was my first mattress purchase and getting a brand-new mattress was fantastic. The staff at Mattress Firm were extremely helpful in helping me figure out what would be the best one to switch over to and they helped me find something that was on my budget list as well. The rep, Patricia, was amazing. She was very patient and encouraged me to try several different beds while I was there and find which one would work for me.
When the bed was delivered, it was the quickest and the on-time time delivery I have ever had. I got a call the day before saying the delivery guys would be here between 1 and 3, and they called half an hour before saying they were on their way. And within 10 minutes, my old mattress was out and the new one was put in. I would definitely recommend Mattress Firm.

Purchased a 3400$ mattress. Returned it within the 120 day window. Signed for return on March 17th 2018, Mattress Firm picked it up the mattress on March 20th. Tomorrow is April 1st and still no sign of my refund. I'm not sure what type of scam this is but any business I have ever dealt with you pay when service is rendered and you get a refund processed the day the item is returned. Over two weeks and still no $ in my account. I would not purchase from this company in future and would caution other Americans to exercise caution when purchasing from Mattress Firm.

I purchased 2 plush firm beds from Mattress Firm. $250 each. I sign the agreement of no refunds or returns because I expected to look and feel just like the ones the salesperson showed me. They looked beautiful, but after one night, my full size bed sinks slightly in the middle and later I found a yellow sticker that says "second hand used" and sanitized treated with germicidal process approved by Texas. Just know that you won't get exactly what they show you. Very dissatisfied with company.

Mattress Firm was local in Grove City. I bought a Sealy Diamond mattress and an articulating bed frame from them, and their sales representative was topnotch. Then the mattress started to roll like the cover and the articulating bed frame started to fall at night when I raise my head up. I had trouble getting help from the warranty office, so the Grove City guys gave me an entirely new mattress and frame and delivered it. The manager there, Mike, was awesome. He worked hard and I really appreciated him. However, the movers they hired to bring the items after the sale were not good. They hit my walls and put some dents in my railing on my stairway. I'm not happy with that and Mattress Firm should fix that. Still, I had a great experience with the things that were in their control.

Mattress Firm had a Labor Day sale, so I purchased from them. I bought a hybrid mattress and an adjustable base. The sales rep was friendly, nice, and very helpful. There was no pressure at all, which I thoroughly enjoyed, as I hate high-pressure salesmen. The products that I got from Mattress Firm are good. I like these products and we've been sleeping well after using them. The mattress has been broken in and it has become a little bit softer. I'd recommend Mattress Firm to my friends and I've done so already.
