    I came to a new apartment from California and my niece looked around for a mattress for me. I got a Beautyrest, about 11-inch, and the representative told me about it. My niece had already been there and talked to him, and so he was very friendly because he had already met her a couple of times when she went to look at the mattress. Then two young men came and brought the mattress up four stories, brought it in and set it up in my bedroom. However, I didn't like it right away and I'm not used to it yet. But others should give Mattress Firm a try. Go look because they have good service.

    Mattress Firm had great reviews and the store I went to had a special deal so, I was able to finance my bed. Their sales reps were very helpful and they picked the bed that I wanted. The bed is very comfortable and I was satisfied with what I got. I also got something that gives height to the bed which is flat and has legs. When the items were delivered, things went pretty fast and took no less than one hour.

    I needed a box-spring and I went to Mattress Firm first. They had a good price and my time with their sales reps was very pleasant. They were professional and they did a good job.     Mattress Firm has stores all over the country and on every corner, so they're hard to miss and buying from them is convenient. We went to a Mattress Firm store to look and we saw that they had a selection of products and the thing we wanted. Moreover, the service was great. We tried different mattresses. The sales rep was terrific and he explained the differences in all of the mattresses. He went through everything and we had a good experience. We bought a king-size mattress, which is a foam and spring combination, and it had the right blend of firmness and coolness. The delivery crew came when they said they would and they did what they were supposed to do. Everything worked and I was very happy with the experience. Mattress Firm is a great company and we recommend them.

    Purchased a mattress in 2012, paid 3500.00 for the set, a 20 year mattress. Now 7 years later the mattress is worn out. No visible sag but the areas are clearly deteriorated. Cannot sleep in the bed any longer without severe back pain. Called Simmons, they said call Mattress Firm. Since the claim process involves pictures of the sags, which are not visible, so I reached out to the Chat. Was told I could have an inspector (39.95 at my cost) for an inspection. Called several times. Last time I was on hold for over 40 minutes before I had to drop the call. Not sure what to do at this point. Money wasted, no sleep, Frustrated.

    I was looking for a specific mattress at Beautyrest and Mattress Firm carried this specific mattress that I was looking for. The delivery guys were great. They came in a few hours before they said it would be there, which was perfect and they got the bed right in. When I first got the bed, we had it about a month and I thought I was going to have to take it back. It was really stiff and my back was hurting, but I remembered the salesperson had told me that sometimes, it takes four to six weeks for the mattress to firm up and to get it perfect for me. Sure enough, it has broken in very well and it is great. Two thumbs up for the sales guy. My experience was great and we're very happy.

    One of the nicest things with Mattress Firm is that it was awfully easy to park and it wasn’t a store where you had to fight with a bunch of other people at the same time. It was convenient for me because I like to just go in there, hang around, do my thing and get the heck out and I was able to do that. I went in to their shop because there was a sale going on where they got a king for the price of a queen. I switched from a queen size bed to a king size bed because I found that as I rolled around on a queen, I like having more room. I got a mattress and the base so that I can elevate my head slightly.

    I like that I've been there and bought from them so I know what I was doing. The rep listened, figured out what I was after and made a suggestion. He paid attention when I said I thought the bed that I currently had was a little high and I wanted it lower. He made sure that we ordered short feet for the bed. I like that he took me to something that worked and it was reasonably quick and painless. The delivery team came when they were supposed to. They brought the bed in, set it up and were gone in a hurry which was a great thing for me because they didn't waste any time. I would tell a friend that the experience doesn't work for everybody but it worked for me and it was great for me so that’s all I cared about.

    There used to be Sleepy’s out there and I was going there, but when I read and looked, it was Mattress Firm. I got on the mattress and tested them out to see which one I liked or which one felt good. I liked it a lot and I found one that felt good that I wound up buying two twin beds. One of the sales guys was good. He was a very nice man. He took all the time and explained everything. The delivery team was very nice. They took their time to do what they had to do and did their job well. I had a little chat with them and everything went fine.

    I’m loving my mattresses and if I need a new mattress, I’m going directly to Mattress Firm. The salesman that worked with me showed me a mattress that if I was looking for a mattress a little later or might need a new mattress, he hoped to see me when I decide to come back and get it. I hope to see it and I hope he’d be at the store. I would tell my friends to go there and get themselves a mattress. There’s the right guy in there and they could tell him that they’re supposed to take time and he can explain to them. And when they try to get a size or the kind of mattress they’re looking for, they can test the mattresses out. Whatever mattress they pick, he can give them a little feedback on the mattress and tell them how it is. But it’s really up to them to choose the firmness or the softness of the mattress that they want.

    We got the best deal from Mattress Firm and decided to purchase there. The sales rep was really good. My husband's a difficult person when he goes to buy stuff, and the rep tried to please him as much as he could. He answered all the questions and was really nice. We bought a flip king and we just started using it yesterday 'cause we were fixing the bedroom upstairs. It's the first time that we went from our old mattress to this one and I didn't have a good night's sleep. I have to give it another week. Also, one of the mattresses is an inch lower than the other one. Since it's a flip king, it's like two queen mattresses and they're not even. So, we need to contact the company and see what they can do with it.

    I went to the Mattress Firm store and saw a mattress that I thought would be all right, so I bought it. The mattress that I got is a queen-size bed and it has memory foam. The sales representatives were very efficient. I called Mattress Firm on the day I was supposed to get the mattress and the rep that I had talked with before was not working that day, but the other rep told me what I needed to know and everything worked out fine.

    The delivery guys were very efficient too. They gave me time to run my sweeper under the bed because I couldn't move it otherwise, then I didn't need anything except for them to take my old bed out and bring the new one in. My new mattress seems fine and it's comfy. I live alone and I sleep in one-quarter of my mattress. Part of the problem I had with my old bed was that I have a semi-sheet and a mattress cover that's wrinkly, but my old bed was an 18-inch thick mattress and I'm old and I couldn't pick it up anymore to change the bed, and I had to have help. But it's easier for me to do this now with my new Mattress Firm mattress.

    Worst experience of my life. I just moved here and was on the search for a bed. After going through the whole process of progressive leasing and paying the fee of 50 dollars. I find out the bed that I wanted was not in stock. My purchase was made on March 6th. The original bed I wanted was coming March 13. I thought I could wait a few days and they offered me the firm to trade in once it came in. I thought why not! That's really nice of them. I waited and called March 13th. It did not come in and he said March 21st. I was a little frustrated but I waited. March 21st rolls by and I call them. Very excited to have the bed that I wanted because the firm was killing my back. He then says I need to pay $250 dollars more because the sale was over. I wish they would have said that to me in the first place or else I wouldn't haven't even purchased this bed.

    I was very frustrated with my experience. I checked out a few more beds since I would be paying full price so I decided on another bed. It was more expensive and definitely out of my price range but I would pay monthly for it. He then said it would be delivered this Saturday March 24th. Well guess what? It was not delivered and he typed in the year 2049. So there was a will call issue and the bed did NOT get delivered. He says they can deliver it on the 27th. I'm so unbelievably disappointed. I am returning everything I purchased through them. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. They are so incompetent at their jobs and no customer should go through the stress they have put me through. They pride their company on customer satisfaction but that is clearly not the case. I feel manipulated into buying the bed that I did not want. I feel taken advantage of and not taken seriously as a customer.

    DO NOT GO TO MATTRESS FIRM. This place is a scam and they will put you through misery! What a waste of a month I waited. I will never step foot into this store and I am telling all of my friends who are moving into town not to shop at one. This place is an absolute joke. I will gladly spend my money elsewhere. I told them I would return everything and they tried to tell me I would have to pay the delivery fee of 79.99 so they could come pick it up. Took them several mins to answer me about dropping it off. They really tried to get 79.99 out of me, that is just petty. I would rather pay 79.99 to someone on Craigslist to drop it off so I do not give this company any money. That's how awful this place is! There are tons of other wonderful mattress places. Beware of this place!

    George **, salesman at Mattress Firm Speedway, IN 46224 promised not to scam me but I feel he will not be delivering what I paid for. I paid in full $667.67, now I am the owner, but he refused to let me sign mattress tag so I could be sure it was not a bait and switch situation. I recorded and took a witness, because I have been scammed before.

    Delivery date of April 3 for this mattress, box springs and frame. As I took the used gel pillow with me. If I get the wrong mattress, I was told it was the only one left and a floor model. Then he has breached this contract no matter what his contract says. I have emailed and called and get not answers back. I am a 66 year old senior with back issues and need the firm mattress I paid for and laid on. I reported to BBB, Consumer Reports, Problem Solvers CBS-4, Scam Trackers, Wayside and Speedway Mattress Firm offices, Yelp, USA Govt, I simply want the firm mattress, springs and frame I ordered. No bait and switch. He was rude after I gave him the money. Never go here to buy anything.

    Updated on 03/31/2018: After 5 days, MattressFirm called leaving number to call a Danial. I called and was on a robo call saying call George **. I called George **, and we decided on a total refund less the used $25.00 pillow. He said I had to pay tax on pillow. $26.75 refund would be in full of $640.92 and to expect refund in 7 days. On 3-3-2018 Joseph ** called, he said he thought I was taking mattress. I said I was told to work it out with George and we decided on refund of $640.92 in full in 7 days. Now, feel they will try to deliver a mattress on 4-3-2018, even though George said a refund was coming. These people are terrible scammers, throwing you from one person to another, all saying refund is coming. I said, "No. I want money back." They want me to stop posting on social media about my experience and George has said I am trashing his name.

    Joseph acts like he does not know a thing and trying to help. He is a scammer, also. I want my money back in full in 7 days which would be 4-6-2018. I am going to Speedway Police Station and George ** can meet me there at 12:00 noon with the $640.92 in cash. I paid in cash, and want cash back. I don't trust them, and feel meeting at the Speedway Police Station on Main Street will keep me safe. Scammers Mattress Firm, telling me to stop ConsumerAffairs and all social media.

    While they continue to promise refund and they should have paid me cash back already. Enough, I have heard enough. They are scammers. I can see them either deliver wrong mattress, even though we talked refund or not giving me full amount of money back. This is a mattress scam and no one should have to go through this. First they would not talk to me. Now it's overload with how they will make things right. Just come to Speedway Police station with cash, until then I feel I have a right to my opinions and social media outcry.

    Mattress Firm was Sleepy’s before and I liked the way they took care of us. They just changed the name. They were very good and it was the same people that worked there. We got one of those electric beds from Mattress Firm. Press the button and it goes up and down. Their salesman was fantastic. I had a health problem and the salesman was able to set up the order for me by phone. I asked if my daughter could go over there and pay him for it and he did. He took care of everything just the way it should be done. He was really compassionate, meticulous and he catered to our needs with no aggravation and no discussion.

    Everything went very smooth. We had a problem with the remote and they sent one of their guys the next day and had it fixed. They were really on top of everything. They’re very responsible and good people. The whole experience with Mattress Firm was very good and my daughter is getting one bed now. A friend of mine just bought one from them as well.

    I purchased a Hampton & Rhodes HR 300 mattress Jan 2015 it is now sagging on one side. I purchased a egg crate to help support my back. I called Mattress Firm to see what could be done was asked if I still had my receipt. I asked no then was told unfortunately there wasn’t anything that could be done. I now have to purchase a new mattress after 3 yrs of purchasing this one which now I feel like I wasted my money.

    My bed is not yet 3 years old. It has sunk so bad on my side my back hurts. I tried everything. A mattress pad, blankets. When I filed my complaint it took from the 12th to the 20th to get a response. And they denied it because of stains. Yes there are stains. I had surgery and had to stay in bed and have a few small stains from that. I did not hide that fact. But like I told them, "Do you expect to resale the defective mattress?" I posted to their Facebook page after that Kuina ** emailed me said she would be in the office the 22/March and I have tried to call all day with no responds. I go back to Facebook send them a message and get this, "Hello Margaret we are sorry you are experiencing difficulty with contact. We sent an alert to our customer care management team. Someone should be reaching out to you shortly." That is BS. No one has called. So if you are reading this be careful who you trust.

    Aside from the in store experience of only being shown top of the line mattresses I have had nothing but delays and issues since my purchase. Part of my purchase included a free set of sheets which I was told would arrive in 3-5 days just in time for my mattress to be delivered, however I did not have a tracking number to look at. I gave it 2 extra business days out of respect for a snowstorm that had occurred assuming it was delayed in shipping. I then called my sales rep and she said she would look into it. They reached out to check with the vendor and a day later I got an email with tracking information which showed the order had not even processed until that day.

    Good thing I called or I may have never got the sheets since they didn't even process the order. I finally received my sheets 2 weeks after my purchase, much longer than 3-5 days. During all of this I found a price match and called my sales rep to see if it qualified, which it did and I was told a check would be processed and I would receive it in 7-10 days. I gave it 10 business days until I reached out assuming the answer to where is my check would be I didn't wait 7-10 business days. My sales rep was not in the store at the time so I had to wait for their return.

    So now 14 business days later I was told it is being processed and I should receive it in a week. My first concern is will I actually get it, but more importantly had I not reached out in both situations would my items have ever been processed. To me it seems like they are preying on the people who will eventually forget they were supposed to get anything and just write it off as a win for the company. Had I known all of this I would have spend my money with someone else that treats their customers that make $4000 purchases a little better and not give them a runaround and take most importance in processing anything relating to their purchase. Here's to hoping I actually receive a check and that it actually includes the price match plus 10% they advertise. Find somewhere else that doesn't take advantage of customers.

    I purchased a bed and adjustable base from Mattress Firm. Bait and Switch is what I call what happened to me. In my discussions with the sales rep, I was told I had 4 months to return or exchange my bed. I assumed he was referring to my entire purchase. When I received the bed and decided I did not like the adjustable bed, I called in to return it for a box spring and was told that adjustable beds were deemed furniture and was not able to be returned. They said I signed an acknowledgement. Looking back I see that I did sign, however, I did not see this until it was pointed out to me since the acknowledgment was a full page of information. Now they are telling me it is too bad.

    I called within 3 days of receiving the merchandise. Is it even legal for them to tell me I cannot return a purchase within 3 days? Is it legal for them to deem a product they sold as new as non-refundable? This is horrible. The Area Manager offered me a $100.00 credit. How does this help me with when I spent $1400.00 on the base itself. AND the mattress is not soft even though that is what I thought I purchased. This service is horrible and I want to know if I have a legal right to return this. In total I spent $3000.00 with mattress firm. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone with the way I have been treated and was misguided. Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.

    My husband I purchased a king size mattress and boxspring set. The delivery men brought in everything wrapped but when my husband lifted the mattress we couldn't believe it. There was a huge hole in the boxspring and they just taped it over and the other boxspring had stitching undone. Horrible experience.

    I had a terrific experience with Mattress Firm. They used to be Sleepy's. I went to the same store to find out it was now a different company. When I went in, the salesman was very helpful. He helped me with the missing part for another frame that I have. I had a generally good feeling from him and so we went through the process together. I bought three mattresses. While the delivery went well, they took it back because I bought a box spring that was too big. I called and they came back again and gave me a smaller box spring. Overall, everything worked out extremely well. I was completely satisfied.

    We were shopping around and we stopped to talk to the Mattress Firm people. They were decent people and they knew what they were talking about. We purchased a normal, queen-size mattress from Mattress Firm. The sales representative was helpful and good. He showed us all our different options and he knew what he was doing. We scheduled delivery of our mattress as it wouldn't fit in our Volkswagen and my son said that the delivery guys were fine. Now that we have our mattress at home and we're using it, we feel that it's good. My experience with Mattress Firm was great and I would recommend them.

    A couple of weeks ago, I purchased a mattress for my grandmother who lives with us, it was Serta mattress. Something soft for my granny. I told the delivery men to take it to the room at the end of the hall because my phone was ringing. They took it and also took my granny money she had in her nightstand. Almost two thousand dollars. We didn't realize it was missing for two days. We told the warehouse manager. We told the store manager. We even told the district manager and he all but called us liars! What kind of company runs this way. We are taking them to court. They won't even talk to us now. And on top of that, they have us a mattress with bed bugs. We are still trying to fight that.

    We went to Mattress Firm store at North Point, Atlanta location on Feb 10th, 2018 to look for firm king size mattress. After checking few mattresses, sales manager started pushing to make a purchase. We purchased a Tempur-Pedic breeze mattress which was not in the store but he said he will deliver it from other store as it was about to discontinue from the store. Sales manager told us to pay $125 to delivery person which he would credit us from the mattress price. Within 2 hours mattress came to home, delivery person dumped it without setting up and took $125 dollars. When we opened mattress, we were shocked, it was very dirty (everywhere block spots) and also it teared from several places.

    Within few minutes of delivery we called salesperson about it and sent pictures of the mattress. We decided to cancel our purchase and asked sales manager to refund money. He gave hard time, didn't response calls or emails, no communication at all, finally reached to area manager. He was also not consistent in follow-up but after trying several times, they were able to take mattress back and refunded my balance after deducting $125 which I originally paid to delivery person. After 1 months of hassle and for garbage mattress delivery, Mattress Firm didn't even refund $125 dollars and didn't apologize. I would not recommend them to anyone.

    We bought a mattress for our daughter about a year ago. The order did not come in so the store was accommodating and gave us an "upgrade." The mattress is completely sagging on one side. We went through the warranty process (45 minutes of my life I will never get back) only to be told that they "cannot determine if it is covered." It was clearly severly sagging by 6 inches. But you can PAY $39 for someone to look at it? What? And then pay $79 to have someone take it? We picked up our mattress! I'm never shopping there again!

    A warning to those who are considering buying Sealy mattresses - there is currently a class action lawsuit claiming that Sealy and Mattress Firm have been making and selling defective mattresses, then fail to honor their own warranty. Specifically, it states that Sealy and Mattress Firm have been “manufacturing and selling mattresses with known consistent defects in quality and workmanship...which cause indentations or sagging of the mattresses.” I found this to be very true after buying a Sealy mattress that began to sag significantly after less than one year of use. To avoid a similar unfortunate buying experience, I advise seeking more reputable companies than Mattress Firm and Sealy.

    The Progressive financing offer is a complete scam. The sales rep was misleading and dishonest. The finance agreement through Progressive Leasing is a complete rip-off. The cash price for the mattress/box combo was 2,249.58 after taxes. The finance agreement takes 25 payments of around 202.97 for a total of 4559.00. That’s an over 100% finance cost. Pretty sure that’s illegal. All of that was skipped over. He used vague terms like "slightly more long term".     3 yrs ago bought a queen set at Sleepy's and a twin set now Mattress Firm. Within 6 months the center of the queen dips so much that at this point I have to decide which side of the hole I sleep on. The twin squeaks and groans when my 100 lb mother gets in it. Hilarious if it wasn’t so crummy. I need to buy new mattresses again and don’t know where to go. Suggestions?

    It has been a year now since I entered Mattress Firm. I had just had a bad experience with another company who sold sub par product, so I was excited to see what they would do. They also carried Serta, which is what I wanted from the beginning. When I went in, the girl was very nice, and their Sertas were on sale. I wanted the pillow top, the softest they had. While trying it out, she suggested that I try out their Simmons, explaining that while it cost more, most people were happier with it in the long run.

    I explained that in my past, Serta did the best for me. But, she carried on and said the Serta was returned more often so, I went with her advice since I didn't want to have to return the mattress. Lo and behold, 30 days in, the mattress she suggested was causing severe pain in my hip and back. I was within the happiness guarantee so I called to ask for the Serta. They wouldn't price match the sale that it was on before, and it was now out of reach because it was over 500 more.

    They said I could wait for one more month to see if it goes back on sale. I tried to make it another week, but, it hurt too much, I asked them what I could exchange it for. They suggested the Hampton and Rhodes... Pillow top. It is what I could afford after all of the fees. When it was delivered, it was hard as a rock, wayyyy too firm to actually be a pillow top. I called them, but, they said I had just done an exchange and could no longer exchange, I would just have to buy a new one. So, I'm still on the too firm Hampton and Rhodes "pillow top" a little less than a year later, and it hasn't softened at all. It hurts my back, shoulders, and hips, and no amount of added padding has helped the stiff as a board pillow top mattress. I'm still upset that I let the first girl talk me out of the Serta I was set on. This mistake has cost me thousands and a lot of pain. Mattress Firm are nice, but, they are salespeople looking for a better payout, not your comfort.

    My wife and I bought a Stearns & Foster king matters and within 6 months the springs started giving away. We paid a total of 2800.00 for this. The way they want you to measure the depth of the sag is with a piece of cardboard and a string. That cost 25.00 and the mattress can't have any stains. This company is a ripoff.

    I requested an after work delivery which my salesperson was able to arrange. I ordered the adjustable frame and black hybrid plus Jennings mattress. I rushed home to find the delivery truck patiently waiting. After they came in (they entered with work shoes on) and flipped my old mattress, they said they couldn’t put my new one in because there was a frame attached to my bed frame. It was a total of four screws to be exact. They said I’d have to reschedule and I am responsible for removing the framing. They further stated the sales rep should have informed me of this. I told them I would go ahead and remove the frame (it’s only 4 screws) but they said they had a tight schedule and needed to leave. This is ridiculous for a $4000 purchase, that two men couldn’t remove a simple frame with 4 screws!!!

You cannot take it back to the store. They must come to you to pick it up. Do not get tricked by the seller name John **. He will don't mention any fee and rush you to sign the paper by saying you have 120 days to return.     We purchase a Simmons Beautyrest Legend Firm mattress at Sleepy’s (which was acquired by Mattress Firm) two years ago. The mattress and box springs cost over $3000 and we are still paying for it. About one year ago the mattress started dipping on the ends and sides and created a lump on the middle. We have the same mattress (which is about 5 years old now) in our guest bedroom and it’s still in good shape and that’s the reason we purchased the same mattress for our master bedroom. BIG mistake! The mattress we got is not even as near as the same quality as our previous mattress and two years from the purchase we find ourselves trying to find the best spot to sleep in our expensive luxury mattress.

    But the worst part of this scenario is the Mattress Firm warranty process! It’s only me and my husband and my elderly parents, I have a herniated disc and we have no family that’s live around that can help us to move this huge heavy king size mattress out of our bed so we can take pictures of the box springs (purchased with the mattress) and the bed frame. I offered to lay to have someone come to our house but that’s not an option. We can’t file the warranty claim and therefore will have to keep this mattress that’s is further damaging my spine. That should not be the case! These king size mattress are extremely heavy and even my husband which is strong can’t move it. We need someone to come to our house before I have to have back surgery because of this awful mattress!

    Blue Touch 300 Firm Mattress: My mattress was delivered on the 10th of February and within days of sleeping on it I began to suffer from severe allergy symptoms including dizziness, headaches, pain in the chest and trouble breathing. I also noticed a sour mildew smell and realized it was coming from the new mattress! Since it had been less than a 3 weeks and the smell and my health were bit improving I reached out to my salesperson for a refund of the mattress.     I purchased a king sized Serta iSeries with an adjustable base from Mattress Firm on 2/19/18. Purchased the warranty and mattress protector as well. They boast about "Same Day Delivery", but due to the promotion they had going on, they stated it would take a little longer. I was understanding of this and scheduled my delivery with them for 2/25/18. I get a call the day before the delivery notifying me that they cannot deliver the bed the next day due to a warehouse stock issue. I was also understanding of this and happily rescheduled my delivery for 2/28/18. They give me a delivery window of 3 pm to 9 pm. Then they state that it will be between 7pm-9pm.

    I get a call from them around 8:40 pm stating that there was a warehouse miscommunication and my mattress was not on the delivery truck, but they have put a temporary "bed in a box" mattress on the truck with my adjustable bases so that I would have a bed to sleep on that night (I had given my old mattress away in preparation for the new bed to be delivered). I was understanding once again and agreed to accept the loaner mattress until they could bring my mattress. The delivery men showed up about 10 minutes until 9 pm and stated they had the bases and "bed in a box", but the mattress would not be able to be slept on that night because it has to rise for 24 hours before it can be used. Delivery guy stated that he had told the sales rep this before even leaving with the delivery, but when they called they neglected to tell me this.

    He also stated that it was not a "warehouse miscommunication", the sales rep has knowingly given my mattress to another customer! So the delivery guy steps out and calls the store and comes back to say that he will just take everything back and the store would call me and I may be able to get my mattress and adjustable base within two days. I am so dissatisfied with this company and a large part of me just wants a full refund so I can take my $3,000 elsewhere and actually be given my items and not be lied to.

    I was living in Brooklyn and I was able to go into Mattress Firm's store, see the mattress, and then buy it in the city I’m in now. I ordered a mattress and they said it was the firmest one in that category that I could afford. But when I got it, I’ve never felt anything so soft in my life. It was like falling into quicksand. It was horrible. I called them up and they sent me a better quality mattress, which they said was the firmest one they carry. But it was even softer than the first one. I even had my neighbors come in and everyone said it’s like you couldn’t even get out of it.

    I called again and I asked if they would do a trade out. I told them to give me the same mattress again and it was completely different. It was exactly what I wanted and the mattress I have now is a better quality than the first one. But it's still too soft and I feel that it could be firmer. The only recommendation the people would offer me was that if I can find something better, they would give me a full refund. But I’m living in a new city, I don’t drive and, I can’t go shopping, so I’m kind of stuck with it.

    I bought two mattresses from Mattress Firm. The first one was when I was living in Honolulu in downtown and I saw an advertisement. I just needed a queen mattress. That was on sale for $385 so I went in town and I never did see the one for $385 but I did buy one for $3,000. It’s like, okay, where is the sale mattress? But they sold me another one and it was very comfortable as a foam mattress.

    And then I needed a second bed because I’m moving out here on the west side of Oahu and they opened up a store there. I had a good experience with the salesperson and the first place was good so I went to the second one and he was good and I ended up just paying cash. The delivery guys were great.     We purchased a king size (actually 2 XL twin mattresses, one firm and one medium support) mattress and dual adjustable bed frame on 11/20/17 from Mattress Firm, Groton CT for $1700. (We had previously looked into this set up over a year ago in Middletown CT for $4000.)! Our delivery date was for 11/30/17 and we were to be contacted the day before for time of delivery. We were not contacted ahead of time, nor was our bed delivered on 11/30/17. We were very busy with holiday functions so we finally contacted the store a few days later and spoke directly with the saleswoman who sold us the set. She said she was unaware there was a problem, but when she checked on it further, said because there were a lot of beds sold on Good Friday, (which was after we purchased our set) that one of our mattresses was back ordered. She gave us a free bed frame for another bed we had and set up a new delivery for 12/20/17.

    Again same thing happened except this time I called right away and was now told by a different person, that both our mattresses were back ordered but we could come into store and pick out something else if we wanted. We went to the store, waited a lengthy time for the one person in this store to help us as the fire alarm got accidentally set off and fire dept had to come and shut off. (There has never been more than one person working in this store the 4 times we have been there, regardless of what time of day we had been there.) He said we actually had a new delivery date for 12/30/17 set up so we decided to give them one more chance. By the way we paid in full on 11/20/17.

    The delivery agency called after the scheduled time they were supposed to and I called the store immediately after 4pm to find out what was going on. He confirmed our delivery for 12/30/17. It did snow a little that day, we waited to hear from the truck driver and they called late and then went to another house in our neighborhood. When we finally got our delivery, there was no paperwork left for us on the product, warranty etc. Also we were only given one metal bracket, (unclear what this product is called) though we were supposed to have two. Didn’t even know what it was and found it on a chair after the drivers left. We signed for our delivery.

    We have had some issues with the mattresses and went today, 2/27/18 to get some suggestions for this problem. The man working today said there basically was no solution to our problems we were having and he hadn’t heard of some of our concerns (Funny that they are listed in reviews for these types of beds.). He said we could have bought a wall hugger unit that is more expensive and was never offered as a suggestion, nor listed on their comparison chart as an option. I also said one of our XL twin mattresses is about 2 to 3 inches longer than the other one. He said it is because of mattress shrinkage. Really. There is no standard on measurements. Come on!! And as a final parting gift, we once again have to go back to pick up the other metal bracket or pay a $40.00 delivery charge because we didn’t call within a day of delivery.

    I purchased a king size mattress two years ago and started having trouble sleeping on it about six month ago. The mattress has a noticeable sag even when not laying on it, worse when you do. It's getting to that point I need to sleep on something else. I went through their photo taking procedure (not a very good judge of how bad it is sagging) and submitted a claim. Should get a response within five days, it's been three week and I heard nothing. Called the store and got an “all claims are handled online” blow off. My first mistake was not checking online with forums and reviews about Mattress Firm before even considering going in a store. After reading a few and seeing a “class action lawsuit “ has been filed about their warranty issues. I'm wondering if I'll ever get this resolved or see any of the $1000.00 back.

But I did not have a very good experience with their delivery. We had time set up but I had to leave because my mother was sick. My husband was here but he was around the back. And instead of walking around the back and maybe knock on the door back there or checking it out, they just knocked on the front door. And they barely knocked because otherwise, if they knocked a little bit harder, my dogs would've gone crazy and my husband would've heard that.

    And then, it took days to get the mattress back in stock for me to finally get it delivered. Their people tried to talk to anybody to get information to get them to help me. They asked me the questions, they followed up with the email just so I would know what was happening but called me back, nobody did anything.     The bed that we purchased before was nice but I'm very hot natured, so we needed a bed that was cooling. We also wanted a bed that had an adjustable base. And so, that drove us to look into Mattress Firm. We did some research online and found that they had the Tempur-Pedic at the time and we went ahead and purchased a Tempur-Pedic adjustable base. But with Hurricane Harvey, we lost that bed. So, we went back to Mattress Firm to get another Tempur-Pedic, only to find that they no longer carried that. So, they set us up with a different bed, comparable to what we had. Their rep, Jaime, was wonderful. He did everything we asked and hooked us up with exactly what we needed.

    So far, everything was fine. The delivery people were pleasant and they were not rude at all. They were definitely knowledgeable and got the job done. The only thing that I thought was interesting was when they were finished with the delivery and they stepped outside, one guy put some little booties on his shoes and took a picture in front of the doorstep with the Mattress Firm rug when in fact they didn't have the covering on their feet the entire time. It was only when they finished the delivery. Nevertheless, I'd definitely recommend Mattress Firm.

    We moved to a new city and didn't know where to buy a mattress... Unfamiliar with the area and not having any trusted retailers nearby, we went to MF. Salesperson, as the story goes, was extremely friendly and very good at his job; of selling us a poor quality, overpriced mattress. We moved again (only 6 months after purchase) a couple weeks ago and when we went to use the handles on the side to lift the mattress, they tore off. After lifting the mattress up off the bed, for the first time, we're able to see the underside of our king mattress. The low quality of the material was shocking. It was almost the same kind of material used on the box springs? The box springs, having entered our home brand "new", had weird brown marks on them and a few of the corner caps were crushed. Something that could not have happened on our type of bed frame.

    The delivery men come and are so quick to install, whipping off bags and dropping things down... We didn't get a chance to see any of this until we moved. Of course, this was a month after their 'happiness' guarantee ended. 6 months we've owned this mattress and I cannot wait to have it paid off and gone. The bed is only moderately comfortable, already sagging. We had no mattress when we arrived in this city and unfortunately, my lack of research and rush to buy has us stuck with years of monthly payments for a mattress not worth even half of what we actually paid for it. I'm embarrassed to have allowed myself to be duped like this. With no time left in my guarantee, all I have left to do is tell others to shop elsewhere. Sears is blowing out mattresses right now... You might not get a long warranty there (since they are closing) but at least you won't overpay. :(

"Oh, it looks like there's 2 in front of you" I wait until midnight and no truck shows up. The next day was another day full of empty promises. Finally, Zak, a salesman set up a time 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Well, It's 9:30... no truck... no call... just a confirmation email received this morning. Looks like more empty promises. This will be my final experience with this pathetic company.     I went Saturday to purchase a mattress and bed set worth 1300 with the original delivery set to Friday 2/23. However I called back Tuesday 2/20 to change the delivery date to Thursday 2/22 because of an important work event I have on Friday, and all was set for today 2/22 between 3-6. I even have a coworker as a witness who was there in the car while I was having the conversation. Well today comes and I receive no call regarding the delivery so I call the store and the employee apparently has no memory of changing it to Thursday. Very frustrated right now.     One of my siblings bought from Mattress Firm a couple of years ago, had a good experience, and referred me to Mattress Firm. I got two twin beds — I took the extra long bed that's equal to the king size bed and for the guest bedroom, I got a full, extra long bed. BUY A QUEEN FOR PRICE OF A TWIN and FREE ADJUSTABLE BASE WITH PURCHASE OF $500 OR MORE. Great deal right, WRONG. The salesman charged us $1400.00 (the price of a full size) when price of twin xl was $1249.00. Charged $499.00 for the adjustable base (after a discount of the price of cheaper base). Wait, sign said free adjustable base right? Nowhere on sign did it say, only certain base was free, exclusions apply, ask associate for details or anything leading the consumer to believe that any adjustable base was anything but FREE. Can we say false advertising!!!

    So I headed out to a different location this morning to get clarification on the sale. Salesman said that the sale is only on the cheaper base (again, not disclosed on sign in window). I said "This is false advertising and misrepresentation". As I was leaving another salesman spoke up and said "If you purchase today (didn't tell them I had already purchased) I will see about getting the base you want at no charge and will throw in a pillow". So I headed back to the store we purchased bed from and told salesman that we were overcharged $151.00 + tax on the bed. He said the system showed the bed was on the truck and he couldn't issue credit til tomorrow. Funny, the bed was already set up in my home. I will be back at store tomorrow morning for our credit.

    I bought, what I thought was a decent mattress from Mattress Firm. For the first several months, it was great, now, however, I am miserable. Every day, I wake up with a backache. I try to sleep in a different spot every night. Sometimes that works and other times, I am in pain. I looked into filing a claim & the process is ridiculous. I don't know if you can see the lumps. My bedroom is not big enough to take all the pictures required just to see if your claim is "accepted". Just have someone come out & lay on the bed. They can experience the same pain I do.     I had a good purchase experience though there was a little bit of car salesmanship stuff going on when I went to Mattress Firm. I wasn't surprised that there was an attempt to persuade since it’s a big ticket item. But it was not super high pressure to buy and they’re salespeople so they work on commission and I offered myself to the wolves. I researched online, but I didn’t buy online because I can’t actually buy a mattress without laying on it. And in the end, I didn’t plan on that exact mattress anyway. Still, I can verify the knowledge ability of their people and I have to believe to some extent that someone’s telling me the truth when I ask them a question. Then the delivery team came when they were supposed to and they were careful in moving and putting the mattress and adjustable platform in place. They also took my old one away.

    I’m still adjusting to the bed to some extent. The adjustable base is new for me and I bought one that was on clearance, so someone else may had slept on it and rejected it. I also bought a clearance mattress and there’s a difference between the two sides. There's less “cush” on one side and I don’t know if that’s what happens in 119 days of being slept on or whether it was briefly owned by someone who was 400 pounds. I can’t return them as I bought them on a clearance but I’m monitoring it and I’m still reserving judgment because I haven’t actually had it long.

    I’m not overwhelmingly happy and it was a lot of money to spend to not be super happy. I already spent $1500 for the mattress which is way more money than I wanted to when I walked through the door. It's not like a $500 mattress I can ditch if it doesn’t work out. I also dropped $4000 in getting the adjustable platform and I appreciate it in some ways, as it was a good judgment call. I just wish I loved my mattress, and I don’t have a bad feeling. The idea that I bought a used mattress that I'm stuck with when I’m not happy with it is still a high price to pay.

    My wife is pregnant and she experienced a lot of discomfort with our bed. So, we looked around and we knew that there’s a Mattress Firm store nearby. We just walked in to take a look and we had a great experience with our sales representative. She was very friendly, very knowledgeable and gave us a great deal because there was a sale going on. We told her our budget price, and she kept it within that. And then, we decided to go with the one that we like, which is a mattress with a medium firmness that also has the ability to raise up and down.

    Our bed has been great. It has a break-in period so it’s getting comfy and comfier. There was one little experience at the beginning when the delivery guys came in. My bed had a frame to it, and so they needed to take a wooden structure that the mattress would fit in. And since this is a different system where it sits on pegs, they had to raise the legs up. The legs have extenders on it, and so they raised it to the highest one. It all looked good and they left. But when I sat on the bed, it fell to the ground. I inspected what was going on. It’s an interesting piece and the pegs work really well in one setting but when you extend them, that little pop-out pin which was supposed to fit in didn't fit the other holes. So I had to go to the garage and get a tap, and I have to tap that hole to be bigger so I can push that pin up and extend it so that the pin pops through.

    However, it didn’t pop through. The hole needed to widen a little better and I did it for all four legs but only one leg had the pin pop through in the hole which was something that checked out on the extenders that those holes are actually large enough. It was an easy problem solving and then everything went back together. Nothing broke in the process of the bed sinking to the lowest level of the peg. Not all the legs are tapped down, it just two of them where it’s weighted on that side. I signed that everything looks good and they walked out, and then I lied on the bed. I should have lied down on the bed when the guys were there. Even though I had that little issue, I think my experience was really good. Mattress Firm is a good store.

    I am disabled and I purchased a Cal King mattress in 2016 from Sleep Train. A partner with Mattress Firm and it was delivered to my home with some kind of stain which they did nothing about. And it was supposed to have a 10 year warranty. The mattress lasted only about a year and a half. Mattress was faulty. It's the end of 2017 and they refused to honor the warranty saying my bed frame was the cause. Which was not true. They charged me 40 dollars to have it inspected. Even the inspector said the frame was good. Is there any legal way to do anything to get them to honor the warranty. Please contact me with any questions.

    10 year warranty?? Try to get them to honor their commitment. They absolutely do not stand behind their faulty products. Worst customer service ever, they have a script they repeat over and over when you call. Try to get someone’s full name, impossible. Even when they respond to these reviews, there is no name attached. Do not bother with customer service. Go direct to a supervisor who will also try everything to refuse service. It took me 2 years to get our warranty honored after we had 2 huge divots in our 5 year old mattress and we are lightweights!

    Started calling with a sinking problem after 2 years, and took 2 additional years of persistence and contacting a consumer protection company (WBZ Call for Action) to get any attention. They finally gave us an $800 credit and then try to use it there! That took another 5 months of painful calls and letters. They will do everything they can to refuse to cover their warranty. I can see why they changed their name from Sleepy's, due to all the poor reviews. But this IS the same company with the same team. Go anywhere else!!! One very disappointed consumer.     I looked online and I figured out what product I wanted. Then, I saw that Mattress Firm had it, so I went over there and bought it. I got two adjustable bases, two mattresses, two mattress pads, and a set of sheets for the bed. The sales rep was extremely nice and helpful. He told me what they had, showed me how the products worked, and made me quite aware of what my options were. Then, the delivery team was fabulous. They were very nice young men who were very polite and clean-cut. They could not have been better. However, I did not get everything I needed. I was supposed to get two sets of roller legs and it took me a while to get them. I had to make several phone calls because for some reason, they did not send me all of the legs to make the beds the height I needed them to be.

    Also, when they delivered all the other stuff, I didn't realize that I was not getting my sheets at the same time. I already disposed of my other bed, so I had to go out that night and buy sheets for the bed myself at a different store. I was extremely annoyed for having to do that because it was all supposed to be there when I needed it and it was not. Somehow the order got messed up and the delivery guys did not have everything on their truck. I don't know why or who dropped the bomb, but somebody did and it was not them because they had no knowledge that those things were not in their packing list that they were supposed to bring to me. I did not get my sheets until weeks later and I don't understand why it took so long to get them. No one could ever tell me.

Wake up tired. So we were told we can exchange the mattress before 100 nights as long as we get another bed. So we seen they sell the purple bed, we called ordered that for 1300. The Tulo only was 650 so we were spending more money with them. We called the store to have them pick up the Tulo, but now they want to charge us the 80 to pick it up. We already paid delivery the 1st time, have to pay it again with the purple bed now again to pick up bed. Want to cancel everything. Don't want to spend my money with them. Rather pay the 80 only and be done. We have called the store, the 800 number and they are rude. They have told us a few time they don't sell the purple bed, when it's on the website. I don't think they want to help, just sell and get money.

    Mattress Firm was close to our house so I bought from there. I purchased one four years ago. I thought it was okay, except it was way too hard. They were for my son and he told us to buy him a new one too so we bought him a new one. So we made two purchases that day. The one was a twin extra-long and the other one was a queen. We also bought four new pillows which were over a thousand dollars and I thought we were going to get a Fitbit, which was a special they were having at the time, but we didn't. I asked about it and they said that the mattress that we got wasn’t the right mattress to buy to get a Fitbit.

    However, the last one I got was too soft for me. It was almost like they have a gel in them to make it comfortable. But my visiting daughter was the one who’s laying on it, so it's fine. So far, I’m not having very good luck with mattresses. I don’t sleep on them at all. They're on guest beds but I do seem to have company a lot. Nevertheless, their sales reps have always been nice, and it’s handy to go to them because it’s right next to our house and I’m 86 years old, so it’s convenient with everything.     I have been trying to work with Mattress Firm on a comfortable mattress, they were all for exchanging my bed from when I received it on 12/16. The delivery guys came out to pick up the old bed, the one delivery guy picked up the bed off the frame flipped it on the side, either he ripped the handle or it was delivered like that in Dec. I have not touched it or have moved that bed at any time, I put the mattress protector and sheets on the bed, the mattress protector hasn't been removed since the delivery in Dec. Because of the handle being ripped they will not do the exchange. I have talked the area manager and he says that the warehouse will not make a exception. They will not accept the bed. There is no way I can prove that it's a manufacturer's defect or if was ripped when the delivery guy picked it up.

    So I'm stuck with a 2200.00 dollar bed, that I can't sleep on because it kills my back. Very dissatisfying doing business with a major company and the warehouse has the say so, not to accept the exchange. The area manager Andrew offered me the bed I was going to get at his cost $1100. Why would I want to spend more money at Mattress Firm. What a insult. Unbelievable.

    I purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm. I purchased the mattress during a mattress sale although I still spent over $1200. I had issues with the mattress within the first 6 months. They sent me a replacement. I have had the new mattress less than 6 months and it is bad as well. I called the store. They gave me a phone number, which refers you to a website. I go to the website and I am flagged. I do the I am not a robot thing and it just says, "Thank you for helping us better serve you." This has been going on for more than 3 months.

    In addition to that the replacement can only be the value of the sales price or less. If what I paid for this gets me a crappy mattress why would I take something of lesser value? It's not the customer service at the store that I am displeased with it is the warranty policy and the degree of difficulty in which you get the replacement. Needless to say I purchased mattresses less than a year ago and I still am sleeping on a mattress that is lousy. I try never to complain, but I can't get any resolution for my issues.

    Purchased a Beautyrest on 1/21/2018 and it was delivered three days later with a damaged box spring. We called the store and spoke with the manager who was not thrilled to have to re-order and was not very pleasant. The re-delivery was set up for three more days. We had to call late on the re-delivery day to find out we were never scheduled for that day. We called the store and found we would have to wait another three days. The re-delivery finally came in and was the wrong model and color and did not match our set.

    We called the store manager back to cancel the order. The store manager was not helpful or pleasant, the area manager helped but never followed up or returned calls. Customer Service dept was a nightmare to track down and the representative called once with no resolution or follow-up. Had product picked up and delivered to store three business days ago. Called the store for status of refund to find it will take several more days to complete. Never any apologies or remorse for the whole debacle. Horrible customer service!

    I'm very impressed with Mattress Firm. It is a very good company. I have a friend who works at Mattress Firm and she speaks very highly of their product. She said her bed is the best that she ever had. She was absolutely right, and I've sent her five people. I got four pillows from Mattress Firm. And I had a friend purchase three beds for me. The beds are comfortable and they fit the body. It doesn't keep repeating where you lie down on it. It warms really quickly where you sleep on and bounces right back. It was made very good and one of the best things I've had.

    Mattress Firm's sales representative wanted to know exactly what I was looking for. And she pointed out so many different things that could accommodate what I need. She was very informative and knows her stuff. I had the delivery a couple days later and the delivery team came 10 minutes before the start of their given time. They were very prompt and extremely professional. They moved my other mattress out of the way, too.

    If you're going to get a bed, you got to try Mattress Firm. You cannot beat it, and you got to get the coconut infused pillow. I got one for my wife and she sleeps so peacefully at night. Mattress Firm will work within your budget, too. They will roof your budget and how you may choose the bed, they will not shortchange you or just try to make it sell. If they have searched and can't find anything for you, they will shake your hands and you're out of the door. And nobody gets hurt feelings.

    Previously I had complained about the way my order was handled with Mattress Firm. Apparently they are on the ball at that company as I got a call from "Adrian" and he has promised to take care of the problem I had and send me a refund for the returned box spring. I do not know where to put this on this site so I am creating another review to say I am now satisfied. I will let you know if I get the refund.

    Everything was fine, the product was good, but it all fell apart with the deal I thought I'd made with them. I ordered a new mattress. It turned out to be smaller than the mattress I had so I ordered a new box spring (what goes under a mattress), paid for them both. Then on tv I noticed they were advertising new frames if you had bought both... So I called and went over to order my "free frame". They charged me about $80.00 for delivery, and I agreed to all that. It didn't come for six weeks, but when it arrived it was much more than I'd thought, it was electric, etc. So, I knew I didn't need a box spring with it since it bent in the middle and a box spring just wouldn't work with it so I had the delivery men take it back (the box spring).

    I went back to the store to get a refund on my box spring (very expensive, around $800.00), but the girl there refused. She gave me a roundabout explanation about how I'd gotten a free frame, etc, etc... I did not because of the other money she'd charged, and at any rate, I felt I'd been bamboozled and got nothing for free. In fact, I felt I'd paid for something I didn't want and they kept my box spring also. Not happy, and I won't go back.

    The sales reps from Mattress Firm were super friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. They had us lay on their sort of soft, medium, and firm mattresses and explained to us how their different colors are sort of related to each other so we could then lay down on other mattresses. They were courteous and delivered when they said they were going to. It was a pretty easy purchase. We bought a king-size mattress and box springs and the bedding came with it as a promotion. The delivery team was nice. The only thing they could have done was put on some foot protectors because it was a little muddy. But other than that, it was fine.

    My daughter bought from Mattress Firm a long time ago and she recommended that I buy one of their beds, too, because my back hurt. I got a box spring and a mattress from them and their people were very nice. The two guys who came out to delivery my order also helped me with everything and put the bed together. The first time they mixed stuff because the box spring they brought was too wide. Then they returned a day after and brought me the short one. I feel much comfortable on it.     I got a queen size box mattress, box springs, and bed frame from Mattress Firm. They were close by my house and I’ve also seen of their commercials. I've heard good things about them, too. Their sales rep was prompt and very nice to work with. But he had a couple things wrong. He led me to believe that I bought a different headboard and footboard. He also told me that I had to have a sideboard and that the bed came with hardware. But it didn’t. When the delivery guys came here, they also didn't come with tools and didn’t have any hardware. I just felt like they overpromised some things. Plus, the box springs came in with damage on them.

    I called them to get things resolved but there was no help. I was then told that they've got one there that they would get swapped out quickly. So I had to call and make a trip to their store, then I called two other times to get that traded out successfully. I also ended up hiring another company to come in and get the hardware and put the side rails in. I wouldn’t have bought that side rails from Mattress Firm and they just assumed I would. I understand that kind of stuff could happen but it shouldn’t have taken a week for them to get those things taken care of. It was irritating that I had to do stuff until they followed up. It should've never been my role and it shouldn’t have taken eight days to get it resolved.

    So far, I enjoy the mattress. But if somebody were to ask me, I wouldn’t ever go in that store again, whether I knew that things could go wrong or not. The other thing about them was that they told me that all they could do was give me a financial concession for the hardware that I had to buy. But they knew that the hardware cost $5 and I wasn't asking for a concession. And for that reason, I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. Mattress Firm's products are good but that store is not where I should have gone for what I needed.

    We bought a Hampton and Rhodes HR500 Memory Foam mattress on 2-20-2017. About 4 months ago I started waking up with back pain and most morning I was unable to get out of bed easily due to being stiff and sore in my back. My wife decided to switch sides with me and I could tell a drastic difference from side to side on the bed. She decided that she would take the sagging side because she said she didn't care. Fast forward to today and she is now complaining about back pain and sagging. I called the store where I bought it and they said to go online and fill out a warranty claim. This had me measuring and taking photos and tearing apart the whole bed.

    I decided to call Hampton and Rhodes customer service line and guess who I got...Mattress Firm. The lady I spoke to understood my problem. I know this because that's all she kept saying... "I understand. I understand." Well they aren't even remotely willing to help. They say that the sag in the mattress has to be 1.5 inches without anyone sitting or laying on it. Mine sags at .5 inches but being memory foam it has different properties than a coil spring mattress. While it may be dense enough to support itself without weight on it. It sure compresses a lot more than the other side when you sit or lay on it. A better way to judge this would be to set a weight in the suspected area and then take a measurement, and then do the same thing on the other side and compare the measurements and I know there will be a big difference.

    What has me upset the most is they are even willing to have someone come look at this one and see for themselves there is an issue. OH BUT SHE UNDERSTANDS!!! I am beyond pissed and will pass this story along to anyone thinking of buying from them. I will post this on Facebook and other review sites. I have never dealt with such a stubborn group of people ever. I will never buy from Mattress Firm again.

    I purchased a Black Ice King Mattress and anxiously awaited the arrival. It was delivered on time by three guys. After they finished setting it up, we noticed a tear in the fabric. Big huge disappointment especially because I am pregnant and due any day. We went through the trouble of going back to the Mattress Firm store and doing an exchange and setting up delivery of a new mattress for a week and a half later. I took off half a day of work to be there during my window. Again, I am still moments away from giving birth. The guys came to the door, and said, "unfortunately we cannot delivery your mattress today because it is going upstairs in your house and we are only two guys." What! You know what you are delivering, why waste my time! You know what is on your truck. How do you sell mattresses and then schedule delivery and then make it sound like it is my fault that you can't deliver it! I am furious. I now am waiting on my bed again!!!

    The Mattress Firm sales reps were very, very helpful and they explained everything. They explained the box size too which was amazing. The rep was patient with my ex-wife, as far as her English understanding. She got a queen size bed but it's a little bit softer than what she expected. It was supposed to be a little bit firmer. We did the pick up and it showed me where technology is going with packing and manufacturing mattresses. They don't have the old spring and they just had the box wrapped in plastic tightly. And then the mattress come out real thin and then all of a sudden you have to let it sit for a while before it gets back up to the size that you saw at the store. But other than that, it worked fine. We'd recommend Mattress Firm.

    Beware of anything they claim is free!! It is a trick. I purchased an Alcove Hybrid bed for about $2800. It have me severe backaches daily for weeks. I traded beds with my son for a night to make sure it was the bed, and sure enough I woke up perfect. Tried to return it less than 60 days in per the 120 day return policy. Angel, from the Miami location on US1 and 141 St told me that the free pillows and bed cover would now change to full retail and it would cost me almost $400 to return the bed. I did not use the pillows but did not have the boxes. Who keeps boxes on pillows. Now I know the trick they use and want to pass it on.

    I was just putting on clean sheets and cussing as usual every time I do this. I have had this bed for 13 months, threatening to write a dissatisfied review, every time I change the sheets, and today I have just had it with this bed. It is the worse bed I have ever had and I am 84 years old. Not only is it the most uncomfortable but terribly heavy for me to make. I can barely lift it to put on the fitted sheets.

    A couple of days, after I had the bed, I called the store where I purchased it and complained to the salesman how hard it was, how heavy it was, etc., he told me to jump on the bed or have my grandson jump up and down on the bed to soften it up, and hung up on me. I still owe on this bed having to continue to pay for something I am really not satisfied with. Not only the bed but I allowed him to talk me into extra things I did not need. What a rip off. If I could get it out to the whole world about Mattress Firm I would. In fact I did write a letter to the company in and as of the date I have never received an answer.

    The Mattress Firm rep I talked to at first was fine. He was polite, helped me pick out the mattress, and did the order for me. But I had a problem with the delivery itself. I made a schedule of delivery and then when that date approached, I called just to make sure that the mattress was still going to be delivered. I talked to a customer service rep and they said it was going to be delivered. But then 24 hours before the mattress was supposed to be delivered, I got a call and they said they had to push my date because the mattress was not in the warehouse.

    I gave them enough time to have the delivery and they could have given me the opportunity to change it. I called back and spoke with a supervisor and she went over and beyond. She assisted me and made sure that I had the mattress on that date that I was given. It worked out at the end and the mattress itself is good and comfortable. Since it was a mattress, there was a perk with it. It was supposed to come with a free pillow and a free mattress cover but the only thing I got was the mattress cover. I never got my free pillow.

    If I could give 0 stars I would! Today between 12-2pm was my scheduled delivery. We purchased our bed and box spring on Monday. It was snowing outside and we have a semi steep hill for our driveway. My uncle was plowing when they arrived and the delivery people told Vlad **. their delivery "supervisor" that the whole driveway was covered in snow which was a absolute lie. They also told him the driveway was slippery which was also an ABSOLUTE lie. I asked this Vlad guy if they could wait a few mins and he said no. I told him that is not right. It's not my fault they are not trying to walk down the driveway. It's not as severe and they were making it. I started to get aggravated because the whole point of me paying for another mattress was for it to come at the expected time, and because my pillow top Serta mattress that we purchased in 2015 was already bulging and defective and the wooden box spring was broken.

    I originally made the purchase when the company was Sleepy's and when we bought it my husband and I picked up from the store with a U-haul when we moved into this house and brought it home ourselves. I also have other furniture and the delivery men have walked my couch down the hill and well as my box spring (my second time replacing). Long story short I had to get aggressive with this Vlad person and tell him that my husband and I will get out ourselves since they delivery guys are too lazy to do it. It really was not as complicated as they made it. They said no they can't do that because they need to get the old items. I said well that is on them to come and get it. It's not right that I waited for my items and they are here and they can't bring them down the hill. The guy said I have to worry about the well being of my guys. And I said why didn't they come prepared if they knew it was snowing outside?

    This is unprofessional and it sounds to me like the customer does not matter. If I didn't have this warranty and the bed was not uncomfortable to sleep in, I would not have chosen to buy my bed and box spring from them. So it's 1:10pm and I told him they need to wait so we can put salt down as proof from them that it's not slippery and we normally do after it snows. And (THERE WAS NOT THAT MUCH SNOW) he said they will only wait until 1:15pm and I said I will go up there and talk to the delivery guys myself. I walk out at 1:12pm and I don't see them or the truck and I setup out into the street. It's 1:14PM and still no sign of them.

    I called this guy Vlad and said, "You told me they will stay until 1:15PM and it's 1:14PM and I'm calling you and they have been long gone. How is that?" He said I told me they would wait until 1:15pm. I said, "But they left before then not even giving me an opportunity to talk to them instead of having to talk to you." I asked several times to speak to a supervisor, he said he is the supervisor. They didn't want to walk. They are lazy and don't care about the customer. If it is raining and snowing why drive from New Jersey all the way to New York and to my home and not bring my stuff to my door. They claim this is red carpet delivery, THAT IS A COMPLETE LIE!

    I called the store and spoke to Tim the person who sold me my stuff and there was nothing he could do either. So now I have to spend another night in my broken bed. I told Tim I do not want VLAD **. or the other people who were supposed to deliver my stuff to bring it tomorrow or whenever I am supposed to get it. They are disrespectful and do not realizes if we as customers don't spend money on their products they will not make money. They must learn to treat people better. So much for that tip, guess I'll keep it!

    I do not believe Vlad is the right person to handle delivery concerns from customers. He seems to have clue how to be polite and even reason with people. If his tone was different I probably would not have been upset and if they would have waited like a couple more minutes and allowed my husband and I to help that would have been better for me also But to provide NO solution or no compromise for an item that my husband and I paid for doesn't seem reasonable, not does it seem like something a "supervisor" would do.

    I have got an ugly experience, so we search a little bit on the net and we found out that Mattress Firm has a variety of mattresses that we can choose from. We got two Sea Breeze Beautyrest foam beds from them, and we had a very pleasant experience with the Mattress Firm sale reps. They were very receptive and they answered all the questions. They also provided a lot of information. They were very nice people and very courteous. The delivery team was also very nice. They actually took the old beds and put the new one. It was cold outside and it was a lot of delivery, and even though, they were very patient. However, I'm struggling to get the Fitbit promotion from Best Buy. I have one FitBit already, but not the other one. They said that it is only one showing in their system and the other order is not. So, the Mattress Firm guy tried to push it again through their system to Best Buy. I haven't received an email from yet.

    I had been trying to survive with a rental room with a bed included, but there were no box-springs. I had had miserable nights’ sleep since I had got here. Mattress Firm was the closest to my new address, and they were very professional with me. The delivery folks showed up in the timeframe that I was told they would be here and there were no uncertain terms with their box-springs. They didn’t mind picking up the mattress and putting in the box-springs under it real quick. I had such a great experience with these folks that I am hoping to invest in a different mattress here soon. The only negative I have is that I asked for a receipt and didn’t get one. I have just one line on my banking account that says that I made a purchase, but I would prefer to have a receipt.

    I purchased a standard mattress set from Mattress Firm which was on my way home. The rep that helped me was nice. However, when the mattress was delivered, the delivery people cut the box spring with a knife. I called to follow up with the rep and he said he was going to put an order and have the new one sent by Monday. Monday came around and I never heard anything. I called but he was off, so I spoke to someone else. She said that the order wasn’t placed, so the mattress ended up coming Tuesday, which was fine. I'm happy with the mattress, but the second delivery guys' hygiene was awful. I had to leave the door open for a while.

    I made some purchases at the store close to my home, was told delivery will be next day and was given a window between 4-10 pm. I work Monday to Friday. I left work early to be able to be home for the delivery. I moved the old bed. Dismantled everything to make way for the new mattress. All day I did not hear from anyone then after 10 pm I received the most unprofessional call of my life. Telling me they cannot deliver to me. That I have to call the sales rep who helped me to reschedule. The guy who called me proceeded to ask me if no one called me and really seem unbothered that they wasted my time and did not have the common courtesy to schedule a redelivery with me. Planning on canceling my order.

    My in-laws bought one of those awesome beds, the frame that lifts up and down, at Mattress Firm so we went ahead and bought one of those too. There’s a store down the street from my house and the people there treated me well. The guy there answered all our questions and I asked some really dumb ones. We had our purchase delivered and I love what we got. The only thing was on the day our bed was installed, I was looking at Facebook an hour after the installers left and it said that Mattress Firm was having a 70 percent off on old models to make room for the new ones. I never heard about that when I was in the store.

    The guy there was super nice and he gave us what I felt was a great deal. But it would have been nice to have known about the 70 percent off offer. I might have gotten last year’s model. Other than that incident, Mattress Firm is the place to go. I let both my sister-in-law and her husband lie on the bed and play with it because the first time they came over, I had them check it out.

    I got a Simmons Beautyrest Greenwood Firm mattress and box spring from Mattress Firm. It's good quality and I like it. The sales people were professional and courteous. But when Mattress Firm delivered the box spring, it was rainy and snowy outside, and it got wet. So they had to change it. But the next one they brought had some holes in it, so that one had to go back as well. And then the third one they brought was okay.     My wife and I reached a deal on a perfect condition floor model mattress that was removed from a nearby Mattress Firm that was recently closed. The salesperson was absolutely firm, and very reassuring, that the 120 day sleep trial as well as the manufacturers warranty both applied despite the mattress being a floor model- the warranty would be less 1 year since the mattress was manufactured a bit more than a year ago- the salesman called that the born-on date. A 9 year warranty was perfectly fine with us, and my wife was fully disarmed by the 120 day guarantee since she was crystal clear to the salesman that she wanted the option of benefiting from a trade-up if she was dissatisfied with the mattress comfort. We arranged for delivery two days later and paid for the mattress.

    Being the thorough sort that I am, I contacted the store manager by phone the following morning to confirm that what I was told was true, since the handwritten comments the salesman made on the sales receipt regarding the warranty and the 120 day trade-up were kept on his copy, but were curiously missing from the one we were given. A big red flag. I was quickly informed by the manager that the salesman blatantly lied to us- neither the sleep trial or a warranty applied to our purchase. I decided that I wanted to cancel the order since my wife really wanted the 120 day trial. He told me he would promptly call me back once he spoke to the salesperson, but he never called back.

    Next I called Mattress Firm corporate in NY directly and I was told the customer rep as well as her supervisor there was nothing they can do to help me with canceling the order and processing a refund, that I needed to go to the store and have the refund processed there- very uncomfortable after what had happened the night before. So I promptly left my work day, picked up my wife from work, and took the 40 minute drive to the store to be sure to cancel the purchase, and to ask for our money back. You would think the corporate office would have been proactive enough to contact the store manager on my behalf after what I explained we were put through, since we were both at work and the bed was supposedly being picked up at the store that morning for it to be delivered the next day (More on that later). But no. It was all left up to me.

    Let me say that the when we arrived the store manager was 100% professional and courteous towards my wife and I, and did eventually say to us that this wasn't the first time something like this has happened with the salesman we had the misfortune of working with, also confirming that he was a long-term employee of Mattress Firm and certainly knew the correct terms of each sale he made. He also said, and this really shocked my wife and I, that our mattress that was scheduled to be delivered the following day wound never have arrived, anyway. That was believable to us since it was still in the same place it was the night before- right in the middle of the store. Apparently, there are no procedures in place at Mattress Firm to deliver a floor model to a customer who lives further than 5 miles from the specific location of the floor model mattress. So Mattress Firm took our money on an item that was undeliverable. Mind boggling.

    It appears that management at Mattress Firm is comfortable with a seriously unscrupulous salesperson so long as he sells a lot of mattresses- which it was confirmed this guy does. It's easy to see why he literally begged me to pull out my phone and leave him a positive Google review even before he took my credit card and printed up the receipt. That was extremely uncomfortable since at that point he'd really done nothing!

    The nice store manager even went into the salesman's desk drawer while we were explaining to him what had happened and pulled out the receipt from the night before and sure enough, there was the handwritten comment on the invoice from the salesman. He just shook his head. He was obviously completely embarrassed by what had happened to us. I'm still waiting on getting my money back. Today I may have to dispute the charge on my MasterCard. What a shame. Perhaps the worst part for us is that we can't even buy the mattress we want, even buying it brand new, since it's exclusive to Mattress Firm and for obvious reasons we are reluctant to do business with Mattress Firm.

    We saw that on the west side, Mattress Firm had a 40% off on a lot of their items and the mattress that we wanted was sold with $100 worth of discount. But when we went to their store, the mattress that we wanted wasn't on discount and the sales guy told me that it cost $800. We told him that we only had $621 but we liked that one and we'd keep going to another store to compare prices. He told us he'd look to see if if he could give it to us for $620 and when he came back, he gave it to us for $619. That was exactly what we had so we took it right there and we didn't go anywhere else. It was real economic and the sales guy helped us out.

    The two guys who delivered it were also cool. They put a floor mat on the floor and they were real good. This is the second time that we bought from Mattress Firm. The last time was in 2013 and their guy gave us two pillows for free. We would tell our friends to go to their store and be honest with their guys about what they need.     We bought a VERY expensive Simmons Black Ice Bed. (5k black ice memory foam bed) I have back issues and this bed had made it worse! I was past the 120 days, but the Mattress Firm guaranteed happy, I was able to exchange for another bed. Once again, I have the new black ice plush because the first was WAY too firm and I'm a side sleeper... This bed too is killing my back. I'm sleeping in the guest room on my old mattress for relief. I was told I have to do an even exchange, but I just want a REGULAR MATTRESS and not a memory foam one which is pretty much all I see when I go to the store in that price range. I would love to just get a mattress I actually like and am comfortable in and if it's for less than the cost of the one I got then I should be refunded that. It's about comfort, NOT THE PRICE.     I've had bad luck with mattresses. In the last five years, I bought five mattresses. I've bought a memory foam that did not work at all. Then with another mattress, I made it turn every month because that's what I was told to do. I just wasn't happy with it and I called the people and the only thing they did was come out one time and measured how deep the thing was. And so my friend, who has the same kind of back trouble as I do, told me that she was going to get a mattress. When she got hers, she really liked it, especially the part that raises up her head or feet, and told me where she got it. I wanted one myself. So I went to Mattress Firm one afternoon and told the lady which one I wanted to try. It was way too soft so the lady recommended something for my back and hip problems. She carried me to the other side and I sat down on it and knew it was right. And so, I bought it.

    Then the delivery team called and told me when they were coming. I had an appointment that afternoon, so I wanted to be sure. They told me they'd be here by 3:00 o'clock and they were. They came right in and set it up. It was a very good experience. However, I only sleep on one side of it and I am hollowing out the place already which doesn't sound right to me as I've had it for just about a month.

    I got a queen-sized bed with a box spring and bed frame from Mattress Firm. Their sales reps were phenomenal. We got to spend a little time doing what we want as far as testing the bed. They just explained how they’re laid out in the store. They have the highest price at the top and the lowest on the bottom. Then there were specific sides of the store for soft, medium, and firm mattresses. We were in the store for quite a long time and we asked them questions before we decided what we wanted.

    The delivery guys were great and they came in the middle of a lot of snow. They did due diligence and made sure the house wasn’t messed up when they brought the bed in. I was surprised at how they put in all these plastic and rugs from my porch into my house. They were awesome and they took pictures at the end of it.     We purchased a name brand king mattress and box spring for over $1900. I weigh 170 lbs. and my wife is smaller than me. Within 2 years she was complaining every morning of backache and within another 6 months I was the same. My wife filed a claim and was sent a paper ruler to measure the dips in the mattress. This was sort of an insult to my intelligence. We were sent a letter denying our claim. The letter states top priority the Mattress Firm has in customer satisfaction and warranties up to 20 years. Am I to understand that a mattress that is 3 years old, and that is for all practical purposes junk, is a normal situation? Why should I buy another mattress from a company that does not care about customer satisfaction?

The DM at the time told me he would give me one more mattress to try out and that would be his finally offer. Since the mattress was financed already, I was screwed. He gave me Black Beauty.     I stopped by Mattress Firm because I wanted to buy one bed for me. All the sales representatives were very kind. The bed was on sale so and I purchased one. When it was delivered, it was just put on the base and I just covered it with the sheet. I tried it for around 15 days. The problem was it was a 14 inch, and with just the base, when it was put there, the height was too high. That was the only problem. It was a full size and it was okay, but whenever I turn around, I felt very anxious if I fall down because of the height. I want to exchange it to a full size bed but the base could not be exchanged. So I decided to return the mattress only.

    When they were carrying it out, the bottom part of the mattress was seen with a seven or eight-inch tear, a manufacturer defect. They stopped, left it, and talked with another manager. They then said "We could not pick it up." I was in a really hard situation that took around 10 days. They were very reluctant to take it out. but another sales person helped me. He called the warranty claim center and yesterday, they came in to pick the mattress up. I was very glad. When you cannot be satisfied, you can return it and that's a really good policy. I'll recommend Mattress Firm. Other shops, if you buy a mattress and if you don't like it, you cannot return it.

The mattress is a memory foam and it can work with a base frame that goes up and down, which we plan to get eventually.     We went in pretty late one night. We were getting a twin size for a little guestroom that we have. The first guy that we were dealing with who's name was Charles was really nice, incredibly helpful, very straightforward, and not exactly someone who talks to you like they're your best friend. So, the Mattress Firm rep pulled them all out, any one that we wanted, and he let us try them multiple times. He was really nice. His willingness to pull multiple mattresses out, put them back and take them back out again and let us try them all a few times, that’s the best part and the biggest difference from what we found of other places. That was the best part as far as us as consumers wanting to make sure that we got whichever mattress was best fitting for us.

    We told the rep that we needed to go look at other places real quick and he was like, “That’s fine. Just give me a call tomorrow if you want to order it. Call me before this time and it will show up on Saturday.” That’s exactly what we did. We went to a couple of other places, saw that that was the best value for what we were looking for because we didn’t want something that was dirt cheap. So, we ended up going with Mattress Firm. We called the next day and he placed the order over the phone and it was pretty easy-peasy, and showed up on time. And the free box spring was probably the other big determining factor for us. You buy a mattress to get the box spring for free. So, that was a $100 difference for us. However, there were a couple of cockroaches in the ceiling over the light fixtures that I could see. It looks a little gross, but nothing else as far as the bad end of things. It was a good experience and I would definitely recommend them.

    Purchase a new mattress set on early January 2018. Set delivered with damaged spring box. Delivery team noted that and assured we would get an exchange. Installed boxes and mattress. Received new box spring couple days after. All well up to this point. After three weeks my wife started to complain about back pains. So I decided to get a softer mattress and exchange the current one.

    Placed order and exchange 3rd week of January. On delivery day delivery man inspected the three week old mattress and said he could not do the exchange because there was a stain on the mattress by the tag. I called the store and explained we never saw this stain before and the stain looked more like a tag smudged into the mattress from the manufacture like something was pressed against it and left a halo the exact size of the tag. Send picture to the sale person and he agreed this could not possibly be something we did. He filed for an exchange but was denied and said he could not do anything else for us. I have been a customer of this company for 30 years. I find the lack of accountability from the company absolutely horrible. Contacted support number and got nowhere. No options for exchanges. I filed all the papers I needed to, to file a claim only to be told that it meets their standards. I can PAY to have someone come out for a second opinion. I was told that it would sag no more than 3/4 inch when I lay down. It's more than that when no one is laying on it. I do not have the papers from the purchase. I moved since the purchase.

    Mattress Firm was a little bit more convenient. I usually do my shopping at Gallery Furniture, but Mattress Firm was closer and I was down the street from it. I bought one of them beds that come in a box and then I unfold it and it pops up. It's a little bit better with what I used to have. The rest of the other stuff were all priced too high, though. The Mattress Firm sales rep was very knowledgeable and I'll tell friends to go to that store and meet with him. They delivered the next day, though Mattress Firm should compete with as far as same day delivery, like most people are now. Rooms To Go used to say, "You'll get your furniture in a month or two or three weeks." But now, they deliver the same day.

    After purchasing a king mattress with adjustable base there have been nothing but problems. First the base I ordered was on back order so they supplied a different base until that one comes in. Within one week, my husband decided that he cannot sleep with the way I like the mattress when inclined on the adjustable base. The store was wonderful at first and I was “told” I was able to get 2 twin XL mattresses instead and since the original base was not delivered yet for an increased cost which I was ok with, I would then receive the mattresses and new bases on my scheduled delivery.

    When the people came to deliver my new mattresses they would not switch out the mattress as they said a tag was ripped off the one they were to pick up. We DID NOT touch any tag on this mattress and we believe either it was delivered that way or the first delivery people either “accidentally” ripped it off taking off the plastic wrapping when delivered OR... That this is a scam SO THEY DO NOT HAVE TO EVER TAKE THE BED BACK IF DISSATISFIED!!

    I am currently on hold with customer service as I was told by the store employee from his Dm that because that tag is missing there is nothing they can do and will not exchange the mattress!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!! If this is not resolved I have every intention of contacting the local News station and social media platforms to discourage everyone I can reach to not buy from this company. If resolved I will take down this review. But if not I will do as I said. With a lawyer if necessary. I am still on hold now for 20 minutes???

    We bought a queen sized mattress from Mattress Firm in January 2017 and it has been deteriorating in quality for the past few months to the point where we can barely sleep on it. It is misshapen and sunken in places. Our last mattress (from Sleepy's) was sold to us at a good price and was still comfortable after 9 years' use when we were forced to throw it out. I've never in my life had an experience with a mattress being so shoddy that it falls apart less than a year after buying it. I looked at the process for filing a complaint on the Mattress Firm website and it seems clear that the most we could hope for would be to have our current shoddy mattress replaced with another shoddy mattress. Better to warn other customers and buy elsewhere.

    I was recommended for a mattress that was not consistent and after 8 months the mattresses was deformed and was a nightmare, so I throw away and purchased a new unit. I had no options from Mattress Firm and I posted my feedback. 3 months ago I received a call from someone saying works for Mattress Firm and offered me $250 to compensate for the bad experience but asked me to post a comment about positive experience to offset the negative feedback. So I said that per the receive of money I was going to post about the iteration and interest to help. But was another lie, because I didn't post anything positive. They never send the money. Was another catch. There are more serious companies, do not purchase from inexperience sellers and the worst quality in the market. Could be a known brand but it is the third category from that brand.

    Updated on 06/01/2018: Poor selling recommendation, lose my money, got a call to change - Once again this guys called me to offer a refund, the person was very gentle and also follow up with me. I have no negative about him. But why the company did not support his customer support agents? Why offer a refund that will never happen. At least I am not the only that complain about poor sales knowledge. Acknowledge there are many other ways to buy a mattress and my fault to trust this company.

    I went out and bought a mattress on my own one day because my grandson had spent the night and urinated in the bed too many times at five years old. I said, I've got to get rid of this thing today and I'm going out and buy a new mattress. I've seen Mattress Firm around. I know they're a big company and I've read their struggles too. If there are guarantees and trial periods, I figured they will honor them. I got the Disc-O-Base lifter. It's like one big giant hospital bed wherein my legs go up, my back goes up, it vibrates and it has lighting. I've traveled around the world and I've slept in some great beds but this mattress is cool. I love it and it's better than I imagined. In fact, my wife is accusing me of never getting out of it.

    Their reps were good. However, their pricing plan is weird. It seems to be a moving number. They gave me a number which I thought was too much, so they gave me another number. It seems like they're trying to bargain and hook me. I could have spent $1,000 more on the same getup, but it still didn't leave me feeling that it was the best price I could get. So, I like straightforward prices on the mattresses, no negotiating, just the best price type of stuff. I will not be sending the mattress back after my six months free trial. They can check me off their six months free trial, unless I'm in it so much, I wear in out and I want a new one. They delivered when they said they would. The guy was a good and very knowledgeable. He has more knowledge about mattresses than anyone I had ever seen.

    I dealt with different people from Mattress Firm and they were all very helpful any time I needed to check on something. They were quite attentive and accommodating. The store was in my area so it was easy and convenient to purchase from them. But the delivery wasn't scheduled at the right date in the beginning. It was rescheduled but then the storm was moving in so it got postponed again.

    In the middle of all that, the rep at the store continued to call and update me even if I didn't call or ask. During the first delivery, there was a piece missing on one of the beds. The rep was apologetic but it wasn't the store's fault. They read the order incorrectly in the warehouse. My son did not have something to sleep on. So, it was supposed to be delivered immediately the next day. But they put it in too late and it didn't get delivered. And it kept getting delayed because of the weather. Mattress Firm credited the delivery charge because of the inconvenience. They did a good job with the issue and it wasn't like I had to chase someone down.

    I was golfing at the golf course and my wife said, “You better come home with a new mattress tonight.” And I saw Mattress Firm across the street, so I got one from them. They had a good quality and I like the memory foam. I also got pillows and a mattress cover. I had a nice experience with their sales rep. They did a good job. Customer service was great. I went in 15 minutes before they were closing and he didn’t seem that he cared. The only feedback I have is that they had a couple of mattresses that they didn’t have a lot in stock. They should at least keep a little bit more inventory. I would tell my friends that my experience with Mattress Firm was hands on. I was able to lay on the mattress which other places you're not really allowed to.     I went to Mattress Firm to just look at Mattresses and see what I might be interested in and I got to talk with the salesman there and he made me feel very comfortable, I ended up buying a mattress with a free box spring and I got two pillows and a mattress cover. The sales rep gave me a good and fair price. He was knowledgeable and helpful. I was supposed to pick it up from the store and it was supposed to come in on January 1st. It actually ended up not coming in on January 1st and there was a problem with the shipping between the manufacturer and Mattress Firm’s warehouse. So, because of the issues and troubles, the same store manager actually set me up with a free home delivery. The following Saturday which would have been the 6th, they delivered it to my house.     I purchased a mattress that was to be delivered on January 8th. I got a call 20 minutes after the delivery time from the driver and he was at the wrong address. He was within a mile from me but I could not give him directions as he did not speak English. The other delivery person on the truck also did not speak English. My mattress and box spring was not delivered that night and when I called the next morning, they said they could not deliver it that day and that it would be either the next day or later in the week. I found this unacceptable as someone should have delivered it first thing the next morning since the driver could not find my home and could not speak English to get directions to my home.

    After no less than 10 calls to Customer Service with up to 30 minute wait times and disconnections and, "Sorry, I can't help you", I cancelled my order and requested a refund. It is 9 days later and my refund has still not been processed. I had to get in touch with someone via Facebook as no one would answer the Customer Service lines. Yesterday I was told someone would call me...no call. I reached out through Facebook again today and got a call back where they told me that my refund had not yet been processed. NO KIDDING...that's why I am calling! The person cannot tell me why or when my refund will be processed. I missed a day of work waiting for my items that were never delivered also. You would think they would recognize this and offer some sort of solution. WORST customer service/retail experience EVER. I will never shop here again and I will certainly advise anyone against shopping here.

    Mattress Firm has four locations within a quarter mile radius. So, it was convenient. We got a regular queen Beauty Rest mattress, and it wasn't the most expensive but wasn't the cheapest. When we went to the store, we pulled out a bunch of different mattresses that were on a display on the wall, we laid on them, and we were trying to find out what kind of matched closely to what we had, and the Beauty Rest we got was a really close fit to what we had.

    The Mattress Firm sales representative was very helpful and very knowledgeable. She sat with us, walked us through the process, kind of explained the different mattresses, the pros and the cons, and then she set up the delivery for us. We got the mattress within two days of buying it. I pulled everything off the old mattress and picked the mattress up. And before the delivery guys got here and had it by the door. They brought the new mattress in, set it down, had me sign for it, and took the old mattress out. They were here for five minutes. Overall, we had a good experience and the mattress has been good. And to trade a little more comfort, we had to put a mattress topper on it, so we're happy with it.

    My husband and I purchases a Serta Sunview Firm Mattress from a local Mattress FIRM that happened to shut its doors one month later. That would have been fine had our mattress not started to sag just ONE MONTH LATER. The mattress itself is a hybrid. We spent just over $1000 on the mattress alone. But we also purchased box spring and mattress cover. I was so frustrated because the mattress sag occurred so soon after purchase. The first three weeks were wonderful. But very quickly we began to notice a mountain forming in the middle of the bed and the sagging occurring where we each sleep. It now feels like I'm sleeping in a hammock. And my back and hips are killing me as a result.

    Fortunately there is a 120 day return/refund. UNFORTUNATELY you need to go through the store you purchased and it's closed down. So I tried to speak with a chat rep. They sent me to another chat rep. That rep sent me on a wild goose chase (gave me a number to call). I thought great, that's my next step. Well no, the number to call turned out to be the number for the closed down store AFTER I told them the store closed down. So I called the number on the website.

    There was no option to speak to a representative and the closest option I could get was for contacting the store I purchased from. So I picked the option for those who purchased online or through the phone, HOPING to get some human to direct my call. No luck. After waiting on hold for an eternity, I hung up. And have since been waiting on hold every time I call only to give up. I'm beginning to think Mattress Firm's 120 return is going to be impossible. I'm so disappointed and appalled. Now I'm likely stuck with my purchase and the back pain it gives.

    I went to Mattress Firm in December after seeing their advertisement on the TV, and I love the store. It's a good company and I'm pleased of it. It's nice and I would recommend anybody to go and buy from there. Everything is beautiful and I love the beds. I could also tell anybody about the salesperson. She was very nice, and I am a person who would turn away if my spirit doesn't take the person. Then the delivery was beautiful and the team was good and not in a hurry to put the bed up for me. They asked what to do with the old bed and I told them to take it, and they did. They set up the new bed and cleaned. Everything was perfect.

    However, the queen size mattress I got is not comfortable, very hard, and it makes a lot of noise when I turn on it. Also, the body of the mattress is going down and it's getting softer and softer now so it gives me a hard time. Even my granddaughter was uncomfortable on it and she has complained about it. So, what I do is put a comforter on top of the mattress to sleep on it. Other than that, I would still go back to Mattress Firm if I were to buy another mattress.

    I was looking for a particular type of mattress in Melbourne but I did not find it. I prefer to deal with a larger chain where there's some purchasing leverage. We moved here from Los Angeles where there’s a number of large chains where you can play them off each other. But there isn’t that kind of situation in Melbourne. There were small mom-and-pop places and then Mattress Firm. So I went with Mattress Firm that’s close to my house and had a bed I was interested in. I worked with Felix and he recommended several beds to us. We spent a lot of time lying on beds, and settled on one, ordered it and bought it.

    It was supposed to be delivered on a certain day which we’ve made arrangements for. We called them up and since it was coming from Orlando, they let us know that it wouldn’t be delivered on the day that we were expecting. We asked for a different day and they said, "Well because the way things work, we probably wouldn’t get it for another two weeks." So we accepted the new delivery date. I then called up Mattress Firm and talked to the salesperson, and negotiated some additional free stuff for my hassle.

    We really liked the bed. For a large firm, they’re straight up. I was a little concerned when I looked at the reviews from some other folks on the company, but they worked for us. Their delivery was professional. We were glad we went there and went with the bed that we’ve got. Since I got extra free stuff, I wasn’t too concerned about the delivery. They were good. They were willing to negotiate on the price and the manager of the store, Felix, got involved and got a hold of the warehouse and drove it home. They went the extra mile to make sure we got our bed. So I was pleased overall with the transaction.

    Where we live prior, the office of Mattress Firm was there so that we just went in one day and we liked the mattresses. We’ve already purchased mattresses and that made us want to go back to them to get the kids’ stuff now.     I remember fondly when the new mattress was delivered to my house, it felt so good to have a firm comfortable bed after my ten year old mattress failed and was no longer providing a supportive sleep. I recall also when after approximately six months after this that I began to scoot towards the edge of this new mattress because the middle was failing and no longer was firm. Now my hip and back hurts when I wake up. I thought I was doing my due diligence by researching and talking with the sales associate before I bought this mattress because this is exactly what I didn't want to do. I thought this was an investment in at least five years of good sleep.

    So now it's past the four months to return the mattress and there's no visible 1.5 depression in the mattress that would allow me to get a return. The associate I spoke to says this is "normal wear and tear". How is it "normal" to have a mattress feel like it lost its firm after less than a year? It's a great strategy really, get the consumer to sign up with the horrible leasing company so they not only pay for the product, but pay almost 1000 DOLLARS more than the horrible product is worth. I'm seriously in tears right now because my current options are to buy out the lease so I "save" money and then throw away the mattress. What really is too bad is that the store really had no concerns that I expressed to them that this mattress is negatively affecting my sleep and therefore my life.

    I wanted to try that mattress where you lie on the bed and it analyses you. Mattress Firm recommended two beds. One of it being a floor model that was marked down. It hurt my hip for the first week but now it’s wonderful. It was really hard. I slept with a pillow under my hip for a week and I broke it in and now it's fine. I got a queen sized bed with a foam and the wrapped coils. It’s a hybrid or something between two kinds of beds. The sales rep was awesome. She had a cast on her foot and she still was getting all over that store. She was very knowledgeable and very helpful. My husband was there during the delivery of the bed and he was happy.

    The only thing is it didn't have the return available because I bought a floor model and had I bought it at full price I probably would have returned it, the way it hurt my hip that first week. Good thing I let it rest a little longer. It was an awesome experience. I will return there in 20 years if I have to buy another one. I’d highly recommend it because of how you’d lie on that bed and it analyses you whether you need a soft or a hard bed.

    I was going through divorce when one day, I came home and there was no mattress. A friend recommended Mattress Firm which happened to be the closest mattress store to my home. It turned out that the have a lot of locations which was convenient. I went into the store thinking of getting a different mattress and the sales rep recommended to try something else out which I did and I liked what she recommended much better. She was very helpful with everything. We got excellent king-sized mattress and box springs from Mattress Firm.

    However, there was a little bit of miscommunication with the delivery team. Apparently, my ex also took the slots inside of the platform bed and so the sales woman assured me that the delivery team would figure out a way to rectify the situation. As soon as the delivery guy arrived, he said he would have to take one of the side panels off my bed and leave them off for the actual railing to fit. I explained to him that I was assured that it wouldn’t be an issue but he said that there was nothing he could do about it. So that was the only thing that kind of bothered me a little bit. We bought a king size bed frame but the store didn't have the same mattress we wanted anymore. They instead had a newer version of the mattress so we just bought that one.     The Mattress Firm sales rep that worked with us was incredible. I have breast cancer and was asking a ton of questions about off-gassing of mattresses, but he was so patient and helpful. It was just very comfortable. He walked us through the different mattresses and helped us figure out what comfort levels of each product. I didn't feel that we were hesistant to go with the sale. We also got mattress cover and sheets, and then had our order delivered.

    When my husband opened the door and the delivery guy walked in, he handed him the other end of the bunkie board and had him help carry the stuff, which was odd. There were two delivery guys but only one came in when they delivered the mattress. But nothing got damaged and it was put in place and they took the old mattress away.     After 1 month of our purchase our mattress developed what can only be described as a canyon. When we tried to return it they told us we needed to go to the manufacture. We went to the manufacture who told us to go to Mattress Firm. It was a complete runaround for 1 year. Finally we able to put in a claim only to find that this self proclaimed company wouldn't supply us with a refund only an exchange. So I was willing to work with them but the next mattress developed a hole bigger than the last one (delivery is $79.89). We went to Costco for the next one perfect mattress. We didn't need the trash mattress from Mattress Firm but they refused to take it. Do not buy from this company all of their mattresses are crap I'm still suffering from back pain and am working with my lawyer to file a lawsuit.

    My situation was a little different. We relocated and I needed my daughter in California to pick out a mattress that I wanted to be here in her room while she was on breaks. I told her to go to Mattress Firm. She went to the store but she said that she didn't feel she was given enough mattresses to choose from, possibly because of her price point.     She slept on it while she was home on her Thanksgiving break and her winter break, and it turns out it was hurting her. Even I wasn't happy with the mattress so we returned it. They took the mattress. I didn't like that there was virtually no paperwork. I just signed something and they don't even give me a receipt that my mattress was billed with them. I have texts and emails that I can confirm that with. They would refund my money within seven business days. The nicest stores don't carry as many low budget offerings. If you're seriously on a small budget, maybe go to Mattress Firm but I wouldn't recommend someone to go there.

    I went to the Longview Mattress Firm store just to see how much it was going to cost because I didn't have a bed and I've been sleeping on my couch. They offered me a deal wherein if I get a mattress, the box springs are for free. They also offered the financing for no interest if I pay it off within 12 months so I went ahead and took the deal. I was supposed to save the money and do it later but I finally replaced the furniture I've lost with family's help. I also had 90 days to try it out and if it didn't fit me, I can send it back.     I was looking for something without spending a small fortune and with the no-interest financing. From Mattress Firm, I purchased a new king-size box spring and mattress. It's a standard bed without the pillow top, about 1,300 bucks. The delivery team was great. They even put a little floor mat on outside the door, put down their little booties, dragged the mattress up the stairs, and put it on the bed. The only thing is, I got a 90 or 120-day test drive, and my mattress is sagging already. I may have to ride it for another month and may have to trade it for something different. I have a bad back, and I want to make sure if it didn't work, I could trade it for something else. My girlfriend's looking for a bed so she's going to be heading to Mattress Firm soon.

    We had already used Mattress Firm in the past and we bought a mattress from them again recently. The mattress is fine and it does what it’s supposed to do. We bought a new frame, too. If we didn’t buy the frame then the mattress wouldn’t be warrantied so we did, and it was another hundred dollars for it. The delivery was fine. The guys did what they’re supposed to and they were nice, but they could only do what they were told to do. I have a headboard that they wouldn’t put back on and it’s still not on the bed. They had to take it out to take the frame out because we bought a new frame, too. I’m handicapped in a wheelchair, and I can’t put the headboard back on.

    I called up the company and the rep said they don’t do it. And he gave me a nasty attitude. If they’re not going to help the consumer, we don’t need them. And if that’s the case, I’ll buy another mattress at the store and bring it home myself. The store has to be a little more considerate. If they can’t help somebody who is handicapped, I would never recommend the store. If they can’t help the customer for what we need to be done, then they don’t need to be in business. They should sell the mattresses overseas if that’s what they could do. They’re no good. Go to Bob’s Discount Furniture, Macy’s, or some other place where somebody would help you to do what you need to get done.

    Mattress Firm was local. And I bought a new king size hybrid mattress and my husband and I really like it. Our last one had a pillow top so we both realize that we like what we got from Mattress Firm more than a pillow top. Their sales representative was very nice and informative. He was new but seemed to know his stuff. And when I went to the store, I also left that day, and later in the day, I got a call that there had been a new promotion that started that day. So, he also added me to the promotion and I got a Fitbit, which was nice.

    I bought the mattress because we were moving into a new house and I didn’t want to take my old full of whatever stuff might into the new house. So, we had a delivery scheduled between 5 PM and 10 PM that night. And then, they called sooner and we found out it was going to be delivered between 5:00 and 7:00, but we were in the title office signing for papers for our house. And the delivery guy came early and we weren’t even going to get there in time. The realtor was the one who let them in the house. But because he came early and we were little of sorts, the old one didn’t get taken away. And so, I was really kind of bummed that that happened because I was running, and then we didn’t get there in time. We got the new mattress but we had to put up with the other one. We had to take it off a truck and put it in the house until whatever garbage day was and at that point, we didn’t even know when it was. But other than that, verything else was good.

    I purchased an adjustable mattress from Mattress Firm, and I had a wonderful experience at the store. I came early, thinking that they would open at 9 o’clock since it was a Saturday, but they didn’t open until 10 o’clock. So, I went over to Big Lots and got a pillow that they advertised on TV. Then I went back to Mattress Firm and this young man was just getting out of his car. I asked him if he was going to open the door, and he said that he was. He then took me around the store, and showed me the mattresses. He was thorough in explaining the mattresses to me, and he was wonderful. The young men that delivered the mattress were also the nicest young people. This is the best mattress I’ve ever had, and I can actually go to sleep in it.     Mattress Firm is the only mattress place in our area. My mother-in-law, father-in-law, and all of my kids bought there several times. Recently, we bought a whole new bed and all the good stuff that goes with it. Their sales rep were not pushy and my interactions with them were fine. We wanted to get a certain base but when they delivered, we got the wrong base. So, they took it back and they're giving us the one that we wanted.     Mattress Firm is a strictly mattress vendor, so I decided to buy from them. I have previously purchased from Ashley Furniture, but the dealer wasn’t as good. So, I cancelled and went with Mattress Firm instead. I believe it was a similar quality item, but I got it at a better price. They also included the bed frame, which wasn’t included before. However, there is a little issue with the mattress. My son, who is probably 200 lbs., went in for Christmas, and he slept in the mattress for 5 nights without breaking it in. And now, there’s a hump in the fabric, which seems like it shouldn’t be there. When you make the bed, you can see the hump.

    I was also disappointed when I first got the mattress because I thought that it was really hard. The salesperson said that it was soft enough, but it was really, really firm, though it was supposed to be plush. But now that I have slept in it and saw the excess fabric creating a hump, I tested it and thought that it does feel better. But it seems like one extreme to the other, and I’m still debating as far as how I feel about it. Other than that, everything went smoothly. The sales representative was informative and helpful, and the delivery went straight and everything was fine.

    Part I am in shock and disbelief, as we went to exchange our mattress well within the 90 days period, and when the new mattress arrived, which we paid more for, we were told that the TAG was missing, and they could not do the exchange. The irony here was we NEVER touched the tag when the new mattress was delivered, and it clearly looks "torn off"! The delivery person told me we need to take it up with HQ, and also mentioned the mattress we had has a high number of returns. We are now stuck trying to return this awful, expensive mattress, with another expensive mattress, and have to wonder if this is some type of SCAM, as we clearly did not rip the tag off, and when I checked the mattress upon initial delivery, was just looking for any flaws or defects, and never even noticed the tag. Would love to hear if anyone else had this awful experience.

    I placed an order with Mattress Firm on the 28th of December 2017. I was told my delivery would be on the 29th. It is now the 3rd of January & I have still not received my mattress even though I was charged for it in full on the 29th of December. I have never been so humiliated by a company this large. I am just beside myself, I have been told that my sales representative who took my order is the only one who can help me. However I have been told for the past 4 days that my sales representative doesn't work there anymore, that she is on vacation, and that she was out sick.

    I today all alone have spent 3.8 hours (documented) on the phone with Mattress Firm and was never helped. I was told someone would call me & someone would email me. NOTHING!!! I could have mattresses delivered to me from any other mattress company in town 4xs already!!! All I have asked for is to speak with a supervisor or for a comparable mattress to be delivered. I was even willing to pay the difference if it cost more!!! I feel so belittled!!! I am beyond disappointed. I have company sleeping on the floor. Last year I spent $2700 with Mattress Firm for a King size mattress & I was so satisfied I returned. They have lost a customer & I want a refund.

    I bought the Ashaway Beautyrest Mattress in September 2016. My partner's side of the bed has a large hole that is very uncomfortable to sleep on. Please see the photos attached. I submitted a claim through their website and took the pictures of the bed they required. A day later I received notice that I can go to the store and get a new bed, either the same one or pay the difference for a new one. I decided to upgrade and get a firmer mattress.

    The day of the delivery arrives and I am super excited. Two men arrived to deliver my mattress and tell me my mattress is stained and they will be charged $40.00 a stain if they take it. WHAT?! They refused to take it and I was called by their manager who told me they couldn't take it and they aren't giving me my new mattress. Awesome. By the way they had my mattress at my door, literally at my door to be brought in and couldn't give it to me.

    From my understanding when I bought this mattress they would replace the bed if there was any trouble with it. I understand the warranty states no stains on the mattress BUT why the hell would you get my hopes up, even allow me to go through with this process if you are going to have people show up the day of WITH MY NEW MATTRESS and not even give it to me. There needs to be a more rigorous claim system. I wasted my time and still have a hole in my bed. They said there was nothing they can do and I am stuck with a mattress and its hole. Mattress Firm - please make sure you inspect the mattress thoroughly before you show up at people's door with the new mattress you said they could have.

    Skip Mattress Firm when you are going to select a bed. Go with anyone else. I purchased a bed at the Napa location and was completely misled by the Manager Vince. His solution to the bed being too firm is to sleep on it for 3 weeks. After my elderly father had a horrible sleep, I went back to the store. He told me to give it a chance and that I had 120 days to return it.

    I sleep on it again. More friends came over. More complaints, so I went back. Instead of helping me, Vince began to argue with me, telling me that he told me so. Then he told me about the $79.99 charge to exchange it. Complained to customer support and got the same line. Asked to speak to a manager, got an email. Customer service is horrible for the entire transaction. Do yourself a favor and buy a Purple bed. Great service and no issues or fees. Skip these people altogether.
