Purchased a Jennings Hybrid Plush at MATTRESS FIRM August 2018. In January of 2019 this mattress sags on both sides. Called Mattress Firm. Said I could take 12 pictures and claim a warranty or they would send an inspector out for $79.99. Sent in Pics. Received an Email stating they did not cover FLOOR MODELS! Paid $129 for 5 year warranty but did not apply. Mattress Firm gave me a number to call in Florida. Third party inspector said the mattress should be replaced. Received Email stating it came within 1/4 inch of being under warranty. Mattress Firm went CHAPTER 11 and closed 200 stores due to shoddy business OCTOBER 5 2018! LOOK IT UP ON GOOGLE FOR YOURSELF!!!!

I placed an order through Mattress Firm's chat service on March 15th. I was receiving bits and pieces of my order but missing the bulk of my order. Being a patient person, I allowed plenty of time (nearly 2 weeks) to pass before contacting Mattress Firm about the missing items. They asked me to allow 48 hours for them to get a response from their vendor, (Classic Brands). So two days later, a representative told me that my items were not in stock and my order was canceled. She also said someone was supposed to contact me about this but that didn't happen. Now I have to wait 7 more days for them to refund the account. This is such a disappointment. Now I'm left with bed rails and no mattresses.

We went to Mattress Firm here in Great Falls, Montana to buy a new Tempur-Pedic mattress for our master bedroom. There are several mattress stores here in town but what sold us was the “120 night sleep trial” and then when we got there the salesman Zachary told us that they have a 365 day happiness guarantee so we thought even better. We were looking to purchase the Tempur-Pedic Cloud-Luxe which is a very expensive mattress but they didn’t have it. We were told by the salesperson that the Tempur-LuxeAdapt was the new version of Cloud-Luxe. This couldn’t be farther from truth, there is nothing LUXE about this bed.
We were NEVER told that the 365 day happiness guarantee was in fact an exchange ONLY policy and that they do NOT give any refunds. Our salesman Zachary was new to the job but he had another salesman Wes there training him and NEITHER one of them told us we couldn’t return it if we were not happy. So what happens when you buy the most expensive mattress that they offer? Well you downgrade and lose the difference or you keep what you bought that you are not happy with, guess there really is no happiness guarantee in this case. So make sure when you walk out of Mattress Firm with a purchase you know what ALL the conditions are. So we threw 4400.00 out the window, and now will have to buy something else from someone else. We will not buy from Mattress Firm again. The convenience doesn’t outweigh the so called guarantee.

I have bought three separate mattresses from Mattress Firm (formerly Sleepy's)... I admit that it's convenient and if you negotiate hard you can get a good price I (never accept their first offer). But I have been disappointed three times in a row... the last time today. I ordered a new box-spring and on the phone said my building required an insurance certificate. The woman said no problem. I sent her via email all of the information well in advance and she said she would take care of it. Needless to say when the delivery came it turned out that they had never ordered the insurance certificate...and I was fined by my building.
When I called the 800 number, the only way that you can get a live person is by saying you want to place a new order. They took no responsibility for their mistake and basically it was "oops". I am going to return the product because they don't deserve my business. I will probably end up paying a bit more but hopefully the customer service will be better some other place.

When we first purchased our mattress and box spring, it was from Sleepy's and they were bought out by Mattress Firm. We paid a lot of money on this set, close to $2000 at that time, and we found out it was under warranty. So we had to go to Mattress Firm to get our replacement. What we purchased in replacement was a foam mattress because the sales guy told us it was better than springs. Well here we are 2 years later filing another claim for a sagging mattress and a extremely noisy box spring. Literally 2 months back and forth with claims via email, more pictures, more angles, box spring has to be on the floor, please take a video, need a better video. OMGOSH! Seriously?
I had to finally call them after they "approved" me for an exchange for 80.00. What? Once I got someone on the phone after hitting a gazillion prompts to connect to a HUMAN I was told by a very heavily accented woman named "Amanda" that the mattress has to have a sag of 1.5" before they will approve that and that I got approved for the box spring replacement. First of all, do you know how deep 1.5 inches is? My pictures proved that is was, but they said on their end it was not. Whatever, I am so done with Mattress Firm, there is a reason they went bankrupt! The first thing they write on their letterhead is Customer Satisfaction and product quality are top priority at Mattress Firm. As with other reviews, this is a bunch of bologna!

Mattress Firm has terrible customer service and does not stand behind their products! I purchased a mattress/box spring set paying $1800 in 2018 in North Carolina. Just one year later the mattress sags on both sides and at the corners. The sag marks are clearly visible and create terrible backaches. The box spring is also clearly defective with one corner totally void of and support structure.
I went to the local Mattress Firm store but was given the runaround and told to file a claim online with the manufacturer. What a nightmare that was getting all the required photos and specifications before even submitting the claim. My mattress claim was denied, but the box springs was deemed defective. I was told it would be replaced but I would have to pay for removal of the old box springs and delivery of the new one! I already paid one delivery charge so in essence, I am stuck with a bad mattress and the box springs will cost me $158 when it was supposed to be replaced for free. I'm not spending another dime for shoddy products and terrible customer service. Run don't walk away from this company!

6 months after getting our Mattress Firm bed the two front legs blew right off digging into our 8 month old floors. I called Mattress Firm. They referred me to Leggett and Platt who warranties the bed frame. Repairman came and replaced the legs and noticed the two legs that did not break were very loose as if they had never been tightened properly. I was told to call Leggett and Platt about my floor damage after the warranty repair. Leggett and Platt told me that Mattress Firm is responsible as they sold me the bed and also delivered and installed it.
Called Mattress Firm back and was asked to send pictures of the damage which I did. 2 large punctures and a 6 inch very deep scratch. 3 days later they called back and offered me a bed accessory to make up for the damage to my floor!!! A TV remote holder for massive damage to my new floors. I don’t even feel comfortable having this 5k dollar bed on the floors now as it will break again and ruin the floors again after I repair the damage already caused by bad design and bad install. Taking them to court is my only option now.

I purchased my mattress a few months ago. I had a problem with it sliding from side to side. I thought it might have to do with the bed skirt I had on it but I finally removed it... Had to actually tear it off as the mattress is too heavy for me to remove any other way. Anyways it didn't help the situation. When I called the Hanover, MA store about it they mentioned putting rubber sheeting between the mattress and stand. This still didn't help. It probably slides about 3 to 4 inches at night but it's a hassle to move it every morning and I'm afraid one of these days I'll actually fall off the bed. I'm well into my seventies so this is a big possibility. The people at the store were not willing to deal with it and say it's never happened before but now that I see all the one star ratings I only wished I had checked here sooner.

I had nothing but good things to say about the experience in the store and at a Home and Garden show where Mattress Firm was on display. I was able to get the product I wanted and am happy with the mattress and the adjustable base. As far as the delivery service that Mattress Firm uses out of Robbinsville, NJ, I would rate them a negative if it was a choice.
The first day, they refused to bring the mattress upstairs as they said it was frozen. The next day, they ripped the mattress on the way up against our banister. The salesperson said he never heard of the mattress freezing and agreed that the delivery men were just lazy. Of course the next week when a new mattress was delivered, they brought it upstairs with no problem. My biggest complaint is that one of the delivery men stole our newspaper. As little as that may seem, what if I didn't watch them in the bedroom and they stole jewelry. I have him on video and was told that Red Carpet Delivery would contact me within 2 days. It has now been 4 days. If you care about the delivery from Red Carpet, watch like a hawk.

I bought 3 sets of mattresses from Mattress Firm. I currently have a king mattress which is sagging so I called them. The guy at customer service said to take a couple pictures of the mattress and go on-line to submit them with the warranty claim. I drive 150 miles to my condo to take the pictures as he instructed. When I log in to submit them I find that I have to take certain photos with their measuring item in them. I also need to take the king size mattress off and take pictures of the box springs and frame. I don't want to drive 150 miles and 3 hours to retake pictures due to their failure to inform me of the pictures I needed from the start.
Customer service won't help. Only says I need to file the proper pictures or pay $80 to them to have a third party respond out to take them. This is poor customer service to not stand behind their product or help me out since their customer service rep gave the wrong info. I don't think a major company would go broke to forget the $80 fee for one of their employee's errors. Or just replace the mattress without the photo of the box springs since you can clearly see the sag in the mattress in the photos I have taken.
When I try to talk to customer service about the issue they say go online to take care of the warranty. When I say I will pay the $80 to have them come out to take the 3 photos for me she tells me to go online to file the claim. I don't know why Mattress Firm is paying people to be in the warranty department when they don't help you, won't take the request to have them respond out to take the photos and only keep saying go online. What a waste of money to pay people for nothing.

I did a Review of Mattress Firm 2/27/19 with ONE Star. I have attempted to Update that Review but can't. I am changing my overall Rating to 3 Stars. Today, 3/1/19, Robert **, our salesman came out on his own time and he and I figured out how to attach the 2 L & P bases to our headboard. Robert was VERY GRACIOUS and it indeed requires TWO people to accomplish this task and he and I managed to get it done - more to his ability than mine as I am older. He personally is worthy of 5 stars. He came out on his own time and without company compensation.
TL Logistics still deserves less than ONE star and I would personally not buy anything from anyone who uses TL Logistics Delivery Service out of Greenville, SC. I will be writing a review on just TL Logistics as soon as I can ensure I have the absolute correct name. They deliver for Mattress Firm in Spartanburg, SC and other furniture companies and possibly other retail stores who provide delivery of their products.

Bought 2 L&P Adjustable Bases, King Beauty Rest Mattress from MF of Spartanburg and just had delivered. Mattress has mark on it. No biggie, I guess since it will be covered. Delivery by TL Services of Greenville, SC. Delivery HORRIBLE! Guys not only had NO idea how to connect and synchronize the 2 Bases but actually argued that it could NOT be done and have both remotes work. WRONG!!! I called L&P in the Delivery Guys presence and they said - "Of Course, they CAN!" Salesman had ASSURED us delivery would attach our headboard to the bases and remove old frame. NOT! Two delivery guys said they had 12 deliveries today and they needed to leave. Told them if they couldn't program correctly, take back and put ours back on bed.
Called Robert **, our salesman, and reminded him I had told him before purchase I HATED misunderstandings so ensure that delivery included attaching our headboard to bases, synchronizing the 2 remotes, showing us how to program the remotes for the various settings, removing the old mattress and box springs, etc. "Absolutely" he assured us! Well, here we are. We can return and start all over somewhere else - or "Suck it up"! He (Robert) initially said bases would be connected to our headboard if he had to come out himself and do it. NOW, 3 hours later, he can't come out for "Legal reasons" as a MF employee. And he didn't know it but TL Contract Services had changed their policy on attaching headboards as they had damaged one recently. Had to pay for it, and decided they would NOT touch customers furniture in the future!
Hope MF can stay in business on ONE sale per customer. Lastly, I'm a big Amazon fan! I could have ordered these L&G bases and mattress for less money; had free delivery to my door; purchased for less; and then used my Amazon Card for a 5-10% CREDIT back to my Amazon account. BUT, I thought I might should buy something this expensive locally so if ANY problem came up, I could just call Robert at my local Mattress Firm and it would be taken care of! So much for that logic!!! BTW, I called L&P while installers on site. VERY HELPFUL! Great product! L&P 5 Stars! M. Firm 3 Stars. Delivery by TL Services NEGATIVE STARS!!!

This is the first time my husband and I have done business with Mattress Firm and for sure will be the last. We went to them for our first new mattress and had a budget so we thought we would get a good deal. The one we bought was good one but the service we had to deal with was ridiculous. We paid $1100 for this bed and was to have it delivered on a day we was off work. They had called and rescheduled the delivery on two different weeks cause supposedly their delivery truck broke down.
So the third week we was to get it on a Tuesday and our salesman said they would refund our delivery fee because of all the hassle of the rescheduling. He also said they would take our old mattress when they brought the new one. All of that was lies. My husband and I had everything moved and ready and the old bed out so it would be easy for them to bring the old one in. They brought it in and said they couldn’t take the old one cause we took it out of the room! Really?? They said that’s their “rule”. Funny how Tyler our salesman didn’t speak a word of it. And of course we wasn’t refunded our delivery fee for all the **. So thanks a lot mattress firm, we will never do business with you again and sure as hell not recommend you.

I ordered a mattress through their online chat for the president's sale. Was told that the mattress would be shipped so it would arrive on March 8th (so basically Adeline, the lady I talked to said she would tell shipping to hold the order until it gets shipped out on a day that would time it perfectly to arrive on the 8th. She assured me twice that this won’t be an issue). Well, the next day I checked the tracking and it showed that it would arrive February 28th, so a week before I even move into my apartment. I called the hotline, left my phone number twice for a call back but was never called back. On the chat I was told then that they had already sent out my mattress. I asked for an immediate cancellation of the order. I was told I would receive a cancellation email within 24 hours. This was on Friday. It's now Monday evening and I still have yet to receive a cancellation email.
Also I was told on Friday that they requested the sales person to cancel the order. Then on Sunday when I asked about this again, I was told that FedEx was already in possession of my items. The lady requested FedEx to return the items so my cancellation could be processed (why hasn’t this already been done on Friday when I asked for the cancellation?). I waited until today and did an inquiry again. This time I was told that one of my mattress is back on its way to the manufacturer as requested but my other item is still on its way to me. Like what the hell! First of all this was your guy’s fault that this happened but then I have to be on top of the cancellation process, literally checking on it every single day to make sure that the items are actually being returned so I can get my money back. Super frustrated, I just want my money back and be done with this place.

Overall I've had a horrible experience with Mattress Firm. From the delivery being charged on me without notice to a misleading sales agent saying the a bed frame would be included with every purchase no charge. I have phone conversations and also emails between the salesperson and I confirming there would be no restock, no delivery charge, pick up charge or administrative fees if I was not happy with a purple mattress I bought. Mattress came with a special event sales giving customers supposedly a free mattress base. The sales person repeatedly told me that I was to keep the base. It was not returnable. There would be no charge for it and that I had at least a hundred and twenty nights to enjoy the mattress. If I found a mattress to be uncomfortable I could return it for a full refund. The adjustable bed base would be mine to keep.
At no time did the salesperson tell me Mattress Firm would deduct the price of the base if I returned the mattress. I consider this serious business fraud. Never was it pointed out to me in writing or otherwise that the price of the base would be charged to me if the mattress was returned. I have emails between the salesperson and I stating there would be no fees charged or retained if the mattress was returned. The correspondence also states I would get my full 100% refund. Please don't do business with this fraudulent company. The sales agents are out to make a sale and do not care about the customer. They are not trustworthy. It is no wonder why this company has filed for bankruptcy. All I want is to return ALL the merchandise and get 100% refund as promised. I WOULD GIVE THIS COMPANY ZERO STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION!

As a consumer, how comfortable the bed would be was not the only selling point. The other selling point was making promises and being assured that those promises are kept. The sales rep clearly stated we would get headboard brackets and that they would be installed. However, this did not happen. Our bed was delivered December 11, 2018. The person who delivered and set up the bed had no knowledge of the brackets so they did not bring any. We phoned the sales rep that we were working with and he promised he would order them and have them delivered and installed. A week or so later the brackets were scheduled for delivery but we weren't going to be home. The person who was to deliver them said they could not leave the brackets on the porch. So they were sent back.
After countless times on the phone with customer service, we got nowhere. We went into a store and they ordered them for us. When we went to pick them up, they were the wrong size. Again, on the phone and again another delivery of the wrong brackets. We now have 2 sets of brackets that we cannot use; the salesperson said use them as book ends and he would send the correct ones and would be delivered on 2/16/19. We waited and waited...we did not get a delivery. We feel that once a bed was sold, it was not important enough for them to keep their promises. A promise that actually got Mattress Firm the sale of a bed that costed over 3K. We have a good bed but cannot use the headboard and very unhappy with the company!

You can see there is 1.5 inch dent in from the photos. But they said it meet the factory standard. They don't exchange the faux mattress for you. I am now forced to deal with, yet again ANOTHER DEFECTIVE MATTRESS from SLEEPY’S/MATTRESS FIRM... We are on our THIRD mattress after the first TWO were deemed "defective" by a third party inspector and consequently returned/exchanged. I cannot even begin to describe the physical/mental anguish both my wife (140lbs) and I (210lbs) have endured since purchasing our 1st mattress from Sleepy's nearly 10 yrs ago. Make/Model of Current Mattress: BeautyRest Phenom Crossover. Size: King. Price: $1,500.00
Even with proper rotation the integrity of the mattress began to deteriorate shortly after the first year and has gotten progressively worse. Now in year 3, the mattress has lost all support and is virtually UNBEARABLE TO SLEEP/LAY ON. The mattress completely envelopes your entire body sinking no less than 4” along the perimeter and up to 6” closer to the center essentially thrusting your body like a sinkhole into the center of the bed and onto your partner as if you were laying on a slope/angle resulting in countless sleepless nights, chronic back/joint pain.
Although body outlines/indentations are visible of both our bodies in the mattress, given its "pillow top" style, the gel foam ultimately masks the severe manufacturer's defects (support/sinking) and returns the mattress on the surface to an "acceptable" sag of less than 1.5" likely resulting in our claim being denied/declined.
I am unsure if I can stomach and/or am willing to endure yet another warranty battle when I simply wanted nothing more than to get what I paid for originally... A good night sleep on quality mattress that lasts more than 3yrs! Hopefully Mattress Firm/Sleepy’s will see this post, do what is right and willing to quickly resolve this matter. Will update post as appropriate.

We decided to contact our sales rep Parker ** on November 19 2018. At 1st it went well then the excuses started coming. We decided to go with the Victorian so Parker ok'd to deliver December 8 2018 then he said that they couldn't deliver on the 8th of December and would get back to us. Text us again and said the Victorian was hard to find and wouldn't be able to exchange. He said he could deliver the Victorian on January 5th with a 2 hour window.
January 13th Parker texts that the Victorian is not going to be in stock to deliver so he offered to exchange another mattress or give a refund we chose a refund. So Parker was supposed to set up a pick up and start the refund process on the 27th of January. It never happened and he will not return my text messages now. I have called customer service and keep being promised that a supervisor will contact me within 24 hours. I'm still waiting for the 1st attempt to call me when I called on the 27th to have this resolved. I would not recommend to purchase anything from this company. It's no wonder this company is going out of business. Numerous years ago, my wife and I bought a Simmons mattress/box spring that had warranty issues and they voided our warranty because there was a stain on the mattress, even though it had absolutely no bearing on the issue. I accepted that even though I was far from happy because there was a stain there for sure.
In 6/2015, we replaced our mattress/box spring with a very high end Simmons product again. We purchased the protect a bed cover from them, in fact I wound up buying two of them. There is not a spot on the mattress. They came out, delivered it and set it up. At the time of setup, I made sure with the guys that my base was sufficient to keep my warranty and what not. They told me I was great where that was concerned and I said wonderful. I even wound up adding even more slats to the frame after they had left. As luck would have it, the sidewall on one side of the mattress has blown out and we sent in everything that was asked of us for the warranty claim. I just received my denial stating that my warranty is void because my bed frame is not sufficient. Mind you, the sidewall has nothing to do with what's under the box spring. In fact, an elephant could get on it and not mess it up, that's how sturdy it is.
I would advise anyone to RUN from Mattress Firm. I have found their dealings with us highly unethical. I would say that this is a factor into why this company is a hair's breath from going out of business. Should they do what is right, I will update this message but at this point, I would strongly suggest finding another place to do business and it looks like I'm far from the only person that has experienced very poor dealing with Mattress Firm.

This is what my comment's about - the Mattress Firm. The company store delivered Hampton & Rhodes Mattress. Came with Box Spring and they delivered them together on 11/2017 and in my life I never thought that I’ve been sleeping with a cardboard box spring. I noticed it before Thanksgiving just less than a year old it started making noise every time I moved so I examined it as I was curious what kind of material or composition they used. What a bad impression that I lift up the box spring and ripped off the black lining at the bottom to see what was the caused of annoying noise so it was a cardboard board box panel.
So to all prospective buyers before you buy the box Spring make sure you ask what kind of brand they will deliver with the mattress. Because the store will not tell you what kind of box spring they will give you part of the price package (mattress and box spring). I chose Hampton & Rhodes brand but not the box spring. They let me apply for a store credit to have purchased a mattress and box spring but it's not worth it - the price they charged me - because the Hampton & Rhodes mattress is not as great than the Serta.
But anyway I was just complaining about the box spring because it put me to sleep uncomfortably because every time I moved it's quacking. I felt like my next door neighbor can hear me - what I've been doing in the middle of the night. It was very embarrassing.I learned a lesson. When buying like that make sure I insured it because in the event that I wasn’t satisfied within a year then I can return it in full credit and get a better quality that don't make noise, and watch the store warranty.
I slept with Serta queen size mattress and box spring since 1996 -2013. Believe it or not the mattress and the spring never changed. It's a great quality. I sold it to Craigslist because I moved to a small apartment and I had no choice but to dispose some of my bedrooms mattress set Because bringing mattress and box spring to move to another city is not practical so I bought a new one. So this is what I got - disappointment from sleeping a cardboard panel box spring. I never thought that My box spring was a cardboard panel underneath the mattress Hampton & Rhodes brand from Mattress Firm store.

The sales lady Barbara was very insightful and willing to negotiate to get to a deal we were happy with which included a delivery within a matter of days. The delivery company arrived with the bed. They failed to use the “Red Carpet Service”, no booties or red carpets. They supplied a bed that had a large bubble in it due to the way it was stored during shipping. They were unable to identify that Mattress Firm had provided the correct headboard mounting brackets. There was a scratch on the remote for the base. During the delivery of the base and mattress they managed to damage the wooden floor in the bedroom. A scratch roughly 16 inches in length.
From this point forward the communication from the Globe The Professionals Corp has been appalling. Failure to engage or acknowledge they were aware of the damage to the property. Everything has felt like I was working for them. There was a failed second delivery which also had a bubble in the bed. 3 weeks later and I am still waiting to get any sort of compensation or path forward towards the remediation of the damage caused during delivery. The communication with Mattress Firm has been ongoing but there has been multiple times where I have called to follow up and get a basic status of my order without rebuttal. After the second failed delivery they did do their best to reach out to Serta to supply a new mattress but I am still yet to hear when I will actually receive this.
Genuinely not one of these people who writes reviews of companies if I have bad service but at this point I feel so ignored and ill treated as a paying customer I can’t help but begin to try and steer people towards another supplier. It’s hard to know how they have gotten to be the largest mattress company in the US with the standard of service and products I have been unfortunate enough to receive. I understand that there is cases where one or two things may go wrong, but once an issue is escalated beyond a normal sale there needs to be greater care and attention to ensure that the customer is not left in the dark and having to beg for a bed. Not like they gave it out for free. I will be using any other Mattress Firm going forward as will anyone I am come in contact with looking to make a purchase that is as important as a mattress. Caveat Emptor.

I bought a $1500 mattress from a Mattress Firm location near Austin, TX less than 2 years ago. Because I have had several operations on my spine, with the addition of several pieces of titanium inserted in my lower back and neck, I told the store rep as such. We looked at several models, all in the firm category. He highly recommended the mattress set we ended up buying. For 6-8 months it was great. Then the padding started collapsing, on both sides. The bedding was changed weekly, and the mattress was rotated each time. It's gotten to the point that neither of us can sleep on it comfortably. So I contacted the store, and was given Mattress Firm's website, to try and get it warrantied. I did everything they asked for, sent in the pictures, and a week later they said they wouldn't warranty it.
So I called Serta. They said that because it was less than 2 years, the warranty would be covered by the selling store. I informed them that they had already denied the warranty claim. Serta said basically "Oh Well". About a week after my first go around with Mattress Firm, I get an email to basically repeat the picture taking process, using their paper measuring device. Which is exactly what I did the first time. I asked them what exactly could they not see by the pictures that I had sent in. There would not be anything that I would do differently if I re-took the pictures. I have yet to receive a response from them. Needless to say, I don't see any Mattress Firm or Serta purchases in my future. Too bad for them both, as I have a 4 bedroom house and like to change bedding regularly.

Same as everyone else here. Mattress has huge indent and sag after less than a year. Spent the last 3 months sending them pictures of the mattress per their requests over and over. Sent in claim via their website, via email, on the phone. I've done everything over and over and they have done nothing to replace this mattress. Right now I am sitting on the phone waiting for someone at "customer service" to pick up the phone, I called at noon, it is now 12:19 and no one has picked up. They just give you the run around hoping you will give up. They said they can send someone out to "look at the mattress" but that it will be 80 dollars to send someone out! NEVER buy from these people, they are con artists and do NOT stand behind their product!

My mattress had a 3 year warranty for full replacement. It had such a huge sag by 1.5 years that I had to put something under it just to sleep until I had time to take the bed apart to take all the pictures they require for the warranty claim. They then claimed the sag was due to improper frame, yet my box spring didn't sag at all. I would NEVER recommend anyone buying from this company because they don't honor the warranty.

Purchase a mattress, picked out the mattress on the floor, was told the mattress was on sale. Was told to pick up the mattress at a different location. My nephew picked up the mattress and delivered it to me. Found plastic on the mattress saying PREOWNED. Was very upset. Did not know that I purchased a PRE OWNED mattress and was not informed of this. Called the manager that sold us the mattress and he said that he informed my husband of this. My husband got very angry and went to the location and informed him that he was not telling the truth and that we would not have purchased the mattress if we knew it was PRE OWNED.
I have consulted several departments about this problem and didn't get any resolution. My next step will be to get in touch with Ted on channel 13 for some type of resolution. I checked the invoice and the model numbers on the invoice doesn't match up with the mattress that was received. This should not be illegal and against the Deceptive Trade Act. The mattress is very uncomfortable you can feel the springs.

I returned a mattress in mid November. It's now mid January and I still don't have a refund. I have moved since returning the mattress and they have mailed the refund check twice to my old address. I called their accounting department and had them update the address on file to my new address before I moved. I finally receive the refund check at my new address and I deposit it. 4 days later the money is taken out of my account. They put a "stop Payment" on the check because it took 2 weeks to get to me. THAT'S HOW LONG INTERNATIONAL MAIL TAKES!!!
Now I'm waiting again for the check to get through the mail and arrive to me, hopefully before they "stop Payment" again. So frustrating to have the money in my account one day, and gone the next. Very bad communication on their part. No one communicated to me that I need to verify that I have received the check. No one called or emailed to ask me if I had received it, they just took it back. 10/10 will never shop with MF again... They're a bunch of **!

I purchased a mattress and was delivered the incorrect mattress I wanted. The mattress was VERY PAINFUL. The delivery person left the mattress outside my door, instead of bringing it in AND the plastic in which my mattress was wrapped in was FILTHY! It had some type of black tar substance on it which resembled oil or tar. I was afraid to bring it into my home because I didn't want to ruin my floor. I reached out to the location and they sold me another mattress, costing me an additional $500. Although I was sold the incorrect mattress and it was the fault of the company, I still had to pay another delivery fee. When I expressed my concerns to the manager, he basically took up for the delivery service and stated, "They are human". He gave me a $50 dollar credit and the delivery for the second mattress DID NOT come on the day he stated it would.
I am traveling from 2 hours away and made sure I opened my schedule to meet them on the new delivery date, in which I was charged for. I was never given a call, the day before, to confirm the time in which they would deliver. Instead, they gave me a window of 8 am - 7 pm. Because I live in a high rise, we have to schedule the service elevator in advance to make room for bulk deliveries. Now, day of the delivery the same manager is saying to me that he has to reschedule me for the following day, because the delivery company did not pick up the order in time. AGAIN, another mistake by the company.
My question to the Manager was simply this, "Is my business and time NOT important to you?" He again, began making excuses for all that was happening instead of trying to figure out how to get my new mattress, that cost me more than $2000, was going to be delivered to me. Because I run a few businesses, my time is very limited. Now I have to wait another 24 hours and be inconvenienced all because someone is failing to do their job correctly. I will NEVER do business with this company again. It has been a complete waste of my time and continual back and forth for 3 weeks now with no resolution. However, the funds for the product was taken IMMEDIATELY!! If I want someone to hold on to my money, I'd rather invest it. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!

Purchased a mattress online for my elderly mother who lives in an assisted living facility. Asked specifically for a morning delivery as they close the facility at night and housekeeping/maintenance go home. Scheduled for 9 am. On the evening before the delivery, I get a text stating delivery will be between 5-9 PM. So I call and tell them that was not the promised delivery time and too late for a delivery. They tell me the delivery people set their own schedule and I should not have been promised a morning delivery. I tell them to cancel the delivery. They say they will cancel, but the mattress is on the truck and refund will occur after they take it off the truck.
I also call the next morning to confirm the order is canceled. I ask them not delivery, the rep verifies "NO DELIVERY WILL BE ATTEMPTED". At 5PM I get a phone call from the delivery driver, I tell him the order was canceled the night before. He says "Why did they send me all the way out here? ", then hangs up on me. I call him back and tell him not to hang up on me, it's not my fault your company sucks. So, lesson learned. This place may have good prices, but good luck getting the bed delivered at a reasonable time. If you do cancel, they will still try to deliver (probabaly at night). Don't waste your time, order from Amazon.

I told the salesperson that I needed an adjustable bed for health reasons. He assured me that an adjustable bed was the perfect fit. Well, I do admit that the adjustable bed frame was a good purchase but the mattress is the worst thing I have ever slept on. The salesman ensured me that the mattress had "cooling technology" that allowed the mattress to stay cool throughout the night. I strongly disagree with this, it was like sleeping on a heating pad set to high. Then the memory foam mattress conformed to my body a bit too snug. I felt like I was sleeping in a hole and couldn't get out. When I would roll over it was a struggle to free myself. Once free I found myself sliding back down into the hole. Don't purchase a mattress unless you like sleeping in a hole that gets hot, really hot!

I purchased a mattress at the fair. I was sent the wrong mattress by accident I'm assuming. We kept the mattress thinking we'd at least give it try. We were told we had 4 months from the date we'd purchased it to try it out. We thought it was way too soft, but again, thought we'd try it. Shortly after we started sleeping on it, I developed low back pain. I thought that it was just me, not the mattress. We left for 3 weeks to go on holiday. During that 3 week period, I had NO PAIN. When I returned to my home and began sleeping on this mattress, my back pain returned. I began calling MATTRESS FIRM to get assistance in getting the mattress exchanged. Since we'd bought it at the fair, the salesperson was no longer here, and I'd failed to keep his number.
I started calling the 1-800 number and was told to contact a store here in San Diego. I spoke to one of the Assistant Managers who told me he'd exchange my mattress and what my options were. I had ordered a mattress called the Dalia. He informed me that I did NOT get that, which we kind of wondered about. He later called me back to tell me he couldn't help me out as the "fair" people get their mattresses from a different warehouse then the local stores do. In the meantime I'd found our salesman's phone number (which my daughter had as she too had purchased both a mattress and base). I left messages for our salesman, however, he never called me back either. I was told by some extremely rude and nasty woman, that I purposefully didn't call the "right" number which was the reason my request wasn't made within the 120 days I had to return the mattress.
Regardless of what I said, she spoke over me and was absolutely out of line and truly the ugliest person I've ever had to deal with - EVER - on the phone. She kept telling me that because I'd called the "right" number some months earlier when I'd originally bought the mattress that I "knew" who I should call and this is why they were not going to help me. When I asked for her supervisor, she told me that her supervisor would say the same thing, I told her that I still wanted to speak with her. She hung up on me. I did call back and speak with a supervisor, Henrietta, who was extremely polite and stated she would reach out and someone would be in touch within the next 24 hours. I didn't hear back from anyone.
In addition to our mattress not being the correct one, my daughter's mattress's base has not worked right since we purchased it. She has been trying to get it replaced as well. The man who installed it said it was installed backwards and that it was their cheapest base and wouldn't last a week. Both my daughter and myself purchased mattresses from Mattress Firm. We also purchased bases. My base is one of their "good" ones. Here's is a cheap worthless piece of garbage. Mattress Firm offers these bases that really are just pure junk. Unfortunately, we didn't really know exactly what we were getting until they arrived and things didn't work.
We also were told by someone at Mattress Firm that the Fair Managers would be contacting our salesman to have him rectify the problem. This was told to me on the 28th of November. I later called back to try to follow up and was told by another representative that my request was being denied because it was more than 120 days since I purchased the mattress. It wasn't. I'd been trying to get help from Mattress Firm for over a month and each time was told something different. I will be reporting this to the BBB and writing to as many organizations as I can to look for help with this matter.
This company makes a fortune every year at the fair. This year, I will personally be there to boycott the company and inform everyone I possibly can what they can expect from this company. I have contacted the Del Mar Fair office to file a complaint. I am not giving up on this. We will have to file suit if we are not provided with a mattress we can sleep on. We spent over $13,000 and have never been this unhappy with what we are now stuck with. I sleep on a blowup mattress in our spare bedroom because I am unable to sleep on the one we purchased from Mattress Firm.

I would suggest that you do business with another mattress company. We put a deposit on a mattress with the adjustable base, and someone called us sooner than initially planned and arranged, to arrange to receive it. When we went to arrange for receiving it, the salesperson seemed unenthusiastic. When we purchased the mattress with the adjustable base, we were under the impression that the old mattress and box spring would be removed from the property, only to find out differently when the delivery team came. The delivery team showed up 1/2 hour early, which was inconvenient and did not seem to be prepared with tools to take the bed frame. He used my husband's tool. The overall experience with Mattress Firm was poor.

When the delivery guys came to set up the base they removed the pre-existing frame and dropped it on my motorcycle and cracking the faring. I'm in the military and was in out on the ship and only got one phone call from the delivery company asking could I wait until he came back from out of town to pick up the part to have it replaced. We purchased the Sleepy's basic twin for my 22 month old's brand new bed his grandmother bought him for Christmas. The bed came a few days early, I had already contacted one location and I was told to call the Liberia Avenue location and speak with Sean. We took my son's crib apart and put the bed together and left to purchase his mattress. We get the mattress home and it's 3+ inches too small for his bed, too short in both width and length. I contacted the store same night and told him the issue, I let him know this was for a small child, if he jumps and gets a foot caught he could break an ankle, we can't remove the plastic because it needs to come back with is a suffocation hazard and now we have no bed to put him in because the crib is out for trash in the rain. I let him know standard size for twin is 39×75 and This is also listed as standard on their own site, not to mention the mattress itself is advertised as standard size.
The rep measured an additional mattress and told me yes he came to the same conclusion, however he couldn't take it back and would have to talk to his area manager the following day and to put a blanket in the gap to fill it. SERIOUSLY! In addition at that point said return policy would require US to pay an $80 redelivery fee if we replace it, but he would take it out of his own commission. Needless to say I've had to sleep in this with my son out of safety concerns.
Following day no call, I contacted the first store and spoke with Earl and he advised he would contact the area manager personally, finally a call from Jose. As we are speaking he tells me these are handmade and can have anywhere from a 1/2 to 2-inch gap. Are you kidding me! First of all if that's the case you have to have a disclosure online and advised in paperwork so customers know what they are getting into, and you have none! This is called false advertising and is illegal!
Then he tells me the rep has been having additional mattresses measured to get one standard size, they were willing to waive half the fee and This is after I argue that I shouldn't have to pay a redelivery fee. This was a bad product, and redelivery would mean they delivered the first which they didn't. We picked it up. So Jose tells me, "Let me call my manager and call you back." Next call comes and I'm told that they can't help me at this point, it will be the same issue and they will just pick it up. All this over a fee that I refuse to pay because they sold me a bad product that's a safety hazard to my baby.
He goes over the return policy, I've read it, I'm not uneducated! It says that it can be returned if you find it is uncomfortable and doesn't meet your needs, this isn't a question of discomfort, this is a question of a bait and hook by this company... They offer you a mattress at a reasonable cost, you get it home and it doesn't fit because it's "handmade". Again no disclosure and then not only do you have to upgrade to a mattress that fits, you also are the proud winner of an $80 redelivery fee!
Next I call corporate and good luck hitting the right selection to get a human being because if you buy in store you get stuck dealing with these awful excuses for managers! I was told nothing she could do, talk to the area manager! Next I go social media and at this time I'm days into the mattress that I have to sleep in with son, we've have no sleep due to his arm and leg and part of his torso falling in the gap, and then there's the beautiful music a rustling plastic makes all night! Guess our sleep isn't important because I keep getting the, "They will call you. Just wait for escalations to call."
Finally Thursday Robert calls from escalations, asks for pics which I send and days he's going to fix this and apologizes for the awful customer service and shames the manager I spoke to. As he's reviewing pics my son's father calls, I'm in my way to work at night after no sleep on this mattress driving in the rain and he tells me that the company is there to pick up the mattress, yet there was no scheduled pick up per corporate! Pick it up, my son will have no bed at that point, NOTHING to sleep on, you show up with no refund money, no replacement and request the mattress! Finally Robert calls back after reviewing and is shocked at what's happening, says, "Why are they there? There is nothing in the system saying they are picking anything up!" I tell him, "Call my son's dad. He is arguing in front of my son with them over this," we disconnect.
At the end of the night my son's dad talks to the store we purchased from who said he will look for an alternative, however corporate calls me back and tells me not to deal with anyone else and he will handle it. Promises me a call Friday the following day, tells me to hang in there and guess what? No call today, nothing! My son is in there now woke up for the third time on that mattress fussing, I had to see the Dr today over my sciatica from sleeping on this mattress and am now on muscles relaxers and steroids. Guess who gets to work tomorrow night in pain, with zero sleep!! I do! Where is my resolution for my son?? How dare you cause this kind of problem. All over a fee I shouldn't be charged to begin with!
Let me give Mattress Firm some advice! You may want to speak with your corporate attorneys, yes I know you have them. I work corporate. You may want to ask them if what you're doing is legal. If I don't have a new mattress that fits by the end of this weekend I will be calling my attorney and you'll owe me much more than a mattress. No disclaimer, not disclosing the chance on that much of a size difference, and advertising that very mattress as 39x75 is in fact illegal and can get you into a lot of hot water. My son deserves better, now you have our money tied up so we can't even get another, and no extra to buy on until this one goes because of Christmas gifts. You should be ashamed of yourself! Now let me see how many more consumer sites I can locate, working in social media management really comes on handy!

If I wanted to return the mattress for a refund, they would charge me $99 for a pickup fee plus a 10% restocking fee approximately $250. I'm not sure how I will manage that at work, but I guess I have to figure something out. They can't even agree to deliver after 5 pm. The only possible delivery windows are nine to four or three to nine. The people whom I've dealt with have all been very polite and apologetic. I have no complaints about those who are working in the store. I know it's not their fault, but this is ridiculous. My husband is older and this is a *huge* inconvenience. I guess we shouldn't have gotten rid of the old bed, but where would we have put the new one? We don't have that kind of space. And I assumed that after the first delay, we would get a bed. A really big part of our decision to purchase from them was that we’re remotely located out on Long Island and they're very close to where we live. The sales rep was very friendly and super helpful. He did a nice job and we liked that he wasn’t super high pressure. The product that we got is good and I’m satisfied with it. It was exactly what we thought we were getting. I would recommend that people go to the Mattress Firm store we went to.

I work nights so I never sleep in my bed specially this time cause I have a friend visiting me. She was telling me my bed was so soft but cause I laid just a few times I didn't notice. Yesterday I call the place where I buy it. The seller was very nice all the time, easy to change and blablabla. I told her I didn't like the base. I find useless the foot side so I ask very kind if I can just change for the electric head. Immediately said NO even is going to be a month when I buy it. I need help cause I think isn't right to buy something I don't enjoy!

The mattress I ordered was delivered and found to have a large mold stain. The delivery team was apologetic and said I could call to request a new delivery. I didn't think it was a huge deal, these things can happen, but the ensuing experience with customer service in trying to order a new one made the issue a million times worse. It is very hard to get someone one the phone as wait times are routinely 2 hours. I used the online chat service, which although still slow, was faster than calling.
The entire day I tried to get them to schedule a new delivery for tomorrow, but I was repeatedly told to contact customer service later as the warehouse was unavailable. I repeatedly requested to be contacted so I wouldn't have to spend an hour getting in touch with them. One person said they would email me back at a certain time but never did. I was told that having a customer service representative call me to schedule this delivery when they were ready was out of the question as they have too many calls coming in. So I kept having to deal with a new agent each time, waiting on hold and re-explaining everything just to find out when I can request my re-order. If you order from them, you better hope that there are no mistakes. If there are, fixing them could be a never ending series of frustrating customer service calls. This could have easily been a four star review if anyone in the company ever stepped in and made the initial mistake right.

This mattress gave me terrible back pain and I intended to return.
Here we have a SURPRiSE!!! Even I didn’t used the mattress cover and the hard foam pillows, they will not take them back and they will charge their high prices: 10% restocking fee ($86.00), return delivery (?), $199.00 for low profile spring box that I paid to be assemble, $89.00 for each pillow and $79.00 for mattress cover that I bought one from eBay for $21.00. Now, I will get back $244.00 from $855.00 that I paid for queen mattress. Just don’t get excited about 120 days free tria!!! BE AWARE! My husband purchased the purple bed and I wasn't in love with it at the store but it was ok. A few weeks after using it I realize that my back ached every morning. I am 25 years old and never had a back problem. I decided to sleep on the couch for a week to see if it's possibly the new mattress. Each morning I woke up with no pain from the couch. We decided to exchange the bed for 1 that was more expensive but worked well with my back. The delivery guy came, the room wasn't very bright he took a picture and claimed there was a stain.
I moved the curtain to let the light in and showed him there was no stain there. He agreed but still pointed to his busted phone with half the screen smashed that the stain was on his phone. I took a picture of the same spot on my phone which showed no stain. The bed had no stain but he quickly left and told me to call the store. Now I paid $2600 for a bed that I cannot sleep in and can't exchange because of some old guy's view. I have videos and pictures of the bed on the same day he came with no stain. Even the employees at the store said the picture on the delivery guy's phone is shoddy and wasn't clear. I would like someone in management to contact me regarding this issue because it is beyond ridiculous and unfair.

I bought a King size hybrid mattress 116 days ago. I spent close to $1700 on the mattress. I began to notice body impressions. Not huge or terrible, but enough to make me question the mattress. Less than four months seemed too quick to have body impressions. Right? I was considering exchanging the mattress for something that wouldn't get body impressions. I knew I needed to decide quickly because the 120 day guarantee was ending soon. My husband and I went back to the original store. I told the salesman my concerns. And that's when the fast-talking double talk started. He said ALL king sized mattresses get body impressions. After less than 4 months? That didn't seem right to me.
I was guessing it had to do with the gel layers. His brilliant suggestion was to turn the mattress 90 degrees to try to get more even wear. OK. I'm no mattress expert, but that seemed weird to me. He repeated that suggestion several times and would not let me discuss other options. There never really was a discussion about other options. SO, now I have 4 days left on my 120 day guarantee, a mattress with body impressions that I can only assume will get worse over time, and many questions that never got answered. Final thought: If all king sized mattresses get body impressions, maybe I need to go back to my queen.

I went in the store to search for a quality affordable queen size set. Initially Annette, the saleswoman at the Denver store, was soft/pushy, meaning she provided information then allowed me time to lay on the bed. She then proceeded to run a credit check when I didn't want one done, but she pushed through my objections and did it anyway, including getting my social security. I didn't stand up and say 'NO' because I know these delete, but it made me uncomfortable and I felt "pushed". She then continued to push more, and got angry when I said that I would think about it.
I agreed to stay and look at cheaper beds, she said that "all you'll get for that amount is those" and they were the clearance beds standing against the wall. She then asked me if I wanted to pull the bed down to lay on it, as she wouldn't move the bed because of her bad back. This was way out of line! I left and will not go back, I do not appreciate being disrespected and then treated poorly when the "sale" looks like it's going south. I do not trust her, and she is the store manager!

Original Review: I ordered a mattress online and slept on it for 30 days, it hurt so badly I went into the local store to exchange. I said I can’t afford more than $2000. The manager was only person in the store. No one else there. No customers. I looked at beds and chose one, he sold me a adjustable base and another bed saying, "With your return it’ll only cost $800 more." I kept saying, "That doesn’t sound right." He said the base is a floor model. After him messing around on the computer for an hour he kept apologizing and saying, "I’m triple checking". I got the beds and base. For a delivery 4 days out.
I went home and decided to do a Mattress Firm chat at 3 am which the person looked up the sale and said everything was correct. I said it looks like everything is going to cost $3300, she said, "No. When the other mattress is returned all will be $2156." I also later that day text messaged the manager and asked to cancel stating it doesn’t look correct, (who gave his cell number on contract) he sent text with same $2156. And he said he called Synchrony to double check and after return it’s $2156. I said, "Are you sure? I can’t afford more than the $2156. I’m a widow." He said yes again. Well, lo and behold my credit card says I owe $3300. I was lied to and I have both these conversations in writing and the contract saying $2156.

Then I got transferred to another agent whom said she could clearly see the problem. Then transferred me back to Gwenlyn whom told me she denied my claim and that the person before her should have approved it. Long story short I called again. I received the automated call evening of 11/19/2018 telling me it would arrive between 9:15-11:15 am. At 12:15 pm on 11/20, I called Santa Rosa store to ask when they would be arriving, as they were 1 hour late. Upon further investigation, I found out that the mattress was ripped at the warehouse, and there wasn’t another in stock. No one had bothered to tell me until I called to check on delivery. I am renting my home out this weekend, and needed that mattress. Santa Rosa employee was kind enough to call a store in Reno who said they had one, but I would need to pick it up.
I dropped everything, drove the 40 miles to get it, only to be told that they didn’t have the mattress that I had bought in stock, and could I maybe take an Eastern king, rather than CAL king. I did not, as I’ve invested $$$$ in bedding for Cal king. They then tried to get me to take an all foam mattress. Everything seemed ok until I received the text to confirm the delivery and I saw the line that stated the order included "pre-owned" merchandise which to means USED. Tony totally skipped over this line. Unfortunately I was in a spot and needed bedding and had to take it.
The delivery men could not get the box spring up the stairs and suggested I get a split. When I contacted the store Tony told me to refuse the box spring and he had a split in stock for the same price as the box I purchased ($100.00). I was on my way to pick them up today when Tony called and said they were now $175.00 each! After ten minutes arguing and he calling ME a liar he said "the only way I could get them for the original price would be for me to take down my review and get there within one hour." Talk about blackmail! I am out the price of the box spring and the cost of an incomplete delivery. I was supposed to have the exchange today and the delivery people claim “stains” and refused to perform the exchange stating Mattress Firm denied it. He told me Mattress Firm was calling and it was only the delivery dispatcher who was telling me to call the store. Drivers left before I could even get an adequate explanation.
Now people who did not even look at this bed are going based on what their delivery driver claims even though I have the mattress protector they force you to buy because of the 120 night guarantee. No clue. It doesn’t look like anything. I already paid the difference for the Serta. I either want the bed I paid or a complete refund including the delivery fee given no delivery took place. The rep at the store I got my original bed seems to be helpful but at this point after reading all these complaints, I fear I’m not going to have a successful resolution. I’d rather spend the money for the same bed elsewhere and avoid this hassle. I was happy to recommend Mattress Firm before this but definitely not now.

The first attempt at sending back the mattress was a nightmare, the person who came to pick it up was very rude and left without informing me what was going on. After that was finally figured out I did go in and purchase another mattress in hopes of having a better outcome, also costing more money.
Once again nothing like the bed I picked, I call after a week to avoid any problems in returning the mattress, and I am informed I have to keep the second bed for a month before anything can be done, I called again after a month, and no one would help me, I waited for a call from the manager multiple times and he never called, I then went to the store and was told there is no return policy with a second bed! Which I was not informed at the time or I would have NEVER taken a chance at another purchase, finally they call the manager who was supposed to call me and chose not to, and he offered no help, and said there was nothing he could do for me.
I am very disappointed and extremely angry, wasted money and time, and appalled at the management and how they treat people. I will never recommend this company to another person, and if I could I would make sure no one was ever taken advantage of like I have been. I guess I now have to take things into my own hands, so sad this is what something so simple has come to. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR A MATTRESS, you will be very disappointed!

I said "Hi, I am looking for an extra firm mattress." She says "ok, WHAT IS YOUR PRICE RANGE?" I said "let see, please extra firm king mattress, then we'll see on price." Again she says "WHAT IS YOUR PRICE RANGE"? I said, "Please let me see what I like," then for the third time LOUDER NOW, SHE SAYS "WHAT IS YOUR PRICE RANGE"? That third time it was with an offensive and aggressive attitude. Then I said, "You know I think it is best I deal with a different sales person," she says "I am the only one". She tells me "I NEED YOU TO LEAVE NOW, LEAVE." So, me I didn't know what to do, so I left even though I was annoyed by her conduct and arrogance shown towards me. We had a weird circumstance in that we were buying our mattress in Illinois but we were moving to Florida. So we wanted to choose somewhere that we knew would have more locations in both places. Mattress Firm's Labor Day sale was also going on and it seemed like a good time to buy. We were the only people in the store that day so we wanted to try a bunch of different mattresses since we understood our situation. We didn't want to spend a ton of money but we also wanted to get a really nice mattress that will last us a really long time. My boyfriend and I also had different tastes in what we wanted in a mattress. And the sales representative was super helpful.
I decided to finance the mattress but I don’t know if I got the piece of mail that would set it up at the old address or what. So I had to make the payment over the phone. That was fine but in order for me to do that, I had to contact Mattress Firm and ask one of the people at the store for the number for the finance company. But that was only thing that I had an issue with. We had picked a hybrid king size mattress because more space is always better and we got whatever was firm. This was like a softer firm though. It wasn’t a super firm mattress. We had it delivered to our apartment in Florida and that went well.

I went in to a Mattress Firm Store and was aggressively met by a sales associate. I told the sales associate that I was just out looking at bedding options. He asked what I have seen and where I've been so far. Showed me some top of the line beds and my wife and I tried a few out. Undecided but narrowed down a few choices, the sales rep told me that the sale ending that evening and he would not be able to match these prices again tomorrow. He convinced me to buy the bed we're considering assuring me we could exchange it at a later day and still be able to keep the discount provided. The delivery was a nightmare! The delivery date was change several times, waiting twice at the new house yet to be moved in for the entire day. Finally the beds arrived, one with no box spring and frame. The other without the mattress! We complained and expressed our frustration and the response of the associate was very matter of fact.
Finally after receiving all beds, totally four, we sleep for about a week in the top of the line King sold to us the evening few weeks back. I called and explained we were unhappy with the performance of the bed and was told that I could not make an exchange for at least 30 days. I understood their warranty that clearly states exchange between 30 and 120 days and felt assured of the "sleep guarantee". After the 30 days elapsed I went back to the store and met with the original sale rep who was also the store manager. I reminded him of the evening of the purchase how my wife and I were undecided on two beds and that we wanted to exchanged for the other bed we discussed. The other bed was a little more expensive about $500. Considering the cost of the original mattress was $4,000, $500 was not a big difference.
Once I informed him of my intent I asked how much the difference would cost me. He told me that I would have to pay the "full price" that was displayed on the bed. The night of the original purchase the bed had a price of $4,000 and he sold it to me for $2,500. The second bed that we were considering was $4,500. He proceeded to again tell me that I would get the $2,500 credit for my original purchase but would now have to pay the full price of $4,500 for the new mattress. In addition, he told me I would need to pay an exchange fee of $300 and a delivery fee of I believe $150. I explained to him that this would cost me as much as buying the bed without the exchange of my first bed. He rudely walked away from me and told me that he would not discount the new bed as an exchange. I told him I would place a call to the corporate office and complain. He told me to "go ahead and make the call" as he walked away from me.
In the several weeks that followed, I called the corporate office to file a complaint and was told a manager would call me back. Both my wife and I called corporate and spoke to several associate and explained what had transpired. All calls were handled in the same manner. Both I and my wife were told that all returns and exchanges are handled at the original store of purchase. I requested a manager with each of these calls as my wife did as well. We were told that someone would get back to us but no one ever has. It is now beyond the 120 "sleep guarantee" and I am outraged of the way both the sales manager at the store treated us and how corporate did nothing to address our concerns. "120 Day Sleep Comfort Guarantee" is a lie (not that I ever even received that paperwork or email). Double-check your order form before leaving the store and verify what gets delivered or you'll be paying out another $100 or more to fix the error.

I bought 2 queen mattresses and a refurbish adjustable base in September. One queen bed came with its box that I personally took from the store I purchased. The other queen mattress was delivered to me without a box. The delivery was smooth and easy. A few weeks ago, I felt something crawling on my arm. To my surprise, a damn bug! At this point my husband and I are looking all over the mattress for signs of bed bugs. Couldn't find anything. I put my sheets to wash. Put new sheets since I couldn't find any sign of bed bugs. Thought, ok maybe it was some other bug. Just last night, the same thing happened. I felt something crawling on my arm again! I felt how I squeezed the hell out of it.
When I see what it was, it was similar to the other one I had seen. I pick my pillow up and I see a bigger one! In my head, these have to be bed bugs! I lift the bed with the control from the end of the bed first. Couldn't find anything. Check all the corners of the bed, nothing. Push the bed away from my headboard and with the control again, I lift the headrest part up. And to my surprise, I see a whole bunch of bed bugs on a the edges of the base! This is at 2 am. I immediately remove all my sheets and throw them in a bag and spray alcohol all over them! I noticed there was even little baby bugs! At this point. I'm crying of anger and upset at the fact that I trusted a company with a refurbish base. They were so embedded on the corners of the base. You can see how they are all on top of each other.
I immediately call off of work, I can't leave my house with these bugs in my room. My son's toddler bed was even infested with them too and only from where his bed and our bed touch. As soon as Mattress Firm opened, I called and told them the problem. No apology, the guy acted like this is an everyday call and told me that someone will call me within 24 hours. In the meantime I'm S.O.L, I have no bed to sleep in, I will have to pray that it doesn't continue to spread everywhere in my house. I chatted with someone online and they told me my case was open and that someone should get back to me within 24-48hrs! Now, it's a possibility that I might not even get a call in 24hrs. The protocol is so wrong! They suggested I get an exterminator, the only thing I want is for them to remove the base and bed from my house.
I no longer trust this company. They take this issue as if this was a stain on the bed or a lump on the bed that can actually wait. These are bugs that they brought from their warehouse! Who knows what other refurbished products they take to customers with bed bugs. They have mattresses in these warehouses and they don't even check if they have bed bugs. The worst experience ever! Now I lost a day of work because of this, I have to wait till someone decides to call me. They need to change this rule. Bed bugs are the worst, this is a priority and should have people available right away to take these calls.
This only makes me think how many more people they have complaining of bed bugs for them to not be able to give someone a call right away. I have to wait a whole day or 2 while these bugs crawl all over the mattress in my room! If this spreads anywhere else in my house. I'm going to need to talk to corporate, human resources, someone to deal with this! I am a first time customer of Mattress Firm and like I said before, worst experience ever! Never again! DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO SPEND THEIR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!

Buyer Beware... When you are offered a "floor sample" at a reduced price... What you will get will be a pre-owned mattress. It not only happened to me, but also to my niece. There is a red stick on the mattress indicating it was pre owned and had been sanitized. This from what I read online is a pretty common tactic with them. It is a clear misrepresentation of what you think you are buying. My mattress was purchased in the Sicklerville New Jersey store in April of 2016.

When they were not here by 4:30 pm, I went to the chat room on their website. The customer service agent tracked the delivery and found out the truck broke down and the mattress won't come until close to 7 pm tonight. I understand trucks break down but no one gave me the courtesy of calling me so I could run some important errands I needed to get done today that I was saving until after the delivery to do. A 3 hour delivery window turned into a 6 hour delivery window without any consideration of my time. Not a good way to run a business.

Warranty denied on a $2,200.00 Serta iComfort: We bought a king size Serta memory foam type of mattress in April of 2014, after being assured that the 10 year warranty would cover the foam losing its memory. We paid $2,200 for the mattress. The mattress is so uneven now, even though we regularly rotated it side to side. I have been having neck and back pain for months and just chalked it up to my workouts. My husband has been sleeping on the couch or the floor. Granted, it took us a while to put two and two together, but realized after traveling a lot for work, that we actually got sleep and didn't wake up in pain.
When we did the measuring for the warranty claim, you could see that the mattress has a "hill" in the middle because the sides are so much lower now. Not even 24 hours later I get a standard email with a denial letter that didn't even have a reason marked along with a 20% off coupon for my next purchase. Terrible customer service. Nobody really looked into my claim. Why would I ever buy something from this company again after this experience? Don't buy a memory foam mattress, and certainly don't ever buy anything from Mattress Firm based on their warranty claim. I have purchased 2 other beds from Sleep Train (now Mattress Firm) in the past that have been good beds. Thankfully, I haven't had to deal with their obvious false claim of warranties on those.

Approximately one year ago I purchased a mattress and adjustable frame from Mattress Firm. It is a King size mattress and was one of their top of the line items. Over the next few months the top layer of the mattress began to shift to the right side of the bed. The right side now hangs approximately 3-4 inches over the lower section of the mattress. It also sags in various spots on the top. As per Mattress Firm's instruction I submitted a warranty claim as the mattress was only 10 months old.
My warranty claim was denied by Mattress Firm as they said that the mattress had stains on it that were considered to be unsanitary. Yes, the mattress does have a stain or two on it. These stains are from the sheets that were the Free Gift with my purchase. The dye on the sheets bled onto the mattress. I have tried everything conceivable to remove the dye stains and have had no luck. Never did I drink or eat while on the mattress.
Mattress Firm never even bothered to look at the mattress. They went solely off of my pictures when they made their decision to not honor their warranty. They did offer me $200 off of my next mattress purchase from them but they do this with all new customers. I am very disappointed with my purchase from Mattress Firm and will not recommend them to Friends or Family. A 10 year warranty on a mattress is not that great either. I know there are companies out there that offer 15-20 year warranties.

Just recently we decided to shop again at Mattress Firm. A year ago we purchased a bed and used the "90 days" option which was pretty easy and simple. Pay a fee to a third party company called Progressive Leasing of $59.00 then you have 90 days to pay the total Mattress Firm sale price plus the taxes from the initial sale. THIS IS NOT THE CASE NOW! 90 day option IS NOT SAME AS CASH PLUS $59. But Progressive fine print adds an additional fee (I presume interest) and we have been unable to switch to the 90 day option which is promoted by Mattress Firm at point of sale.
After 3 calls to Progressive we have been given only make the monthly payments at an outrageous interest rate or make 3 payments over the next 3 months of $850.48. The original sales price was for two mattresses plus accessories of $2298.00 plus tax. I have confirmed with a corporate inquiry online as the local store stated at purchase that the "90 day option" is essentially same as cash plus a $59.00 service fee.
Our 90 day option should be $2298.00 (sales order total) plus tax and payable within 90 days, and like we did a year ago. IT IS NOT SO! Our option with progressive IS NOT same as cash but includes a new fee and the contract sent by mail AFTER THE PURCHASE AND RECEIPT, SPECIFICALLY STATES THE 90 DAY OPTION IS NOT SAME AS CASH. Progressive adds an additional fee in our case of $59.00 again.
I believe this is an issue with changes at Progressive terms and the failure of Mattress Firm of being notified and adjusting their sales pitch on the ease of purchase now as same as 90 days. If we were told the 90 day option was 3 equal payments we would have waited until in our case I received the funds scheduled to be released in January and paid cash in full. MATTRESS FIRM IS RESPONSIBLE IN SELLING THE 90 DAY OPTION EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT THE PARTY OFFERING THE CREDIT.

Purchased king size mattress. King size is supposed to be 76x80, even according to their website. After several weeks of wondering why my feet appear to overhang the mattress, I measured the mattress at 75x78. I am tall, measuring at 72.5, hence why I felt this mattress size feels inadequate. My mattress is well within the 120 day trial period; however, manufacturing an incorrect size mattress should not have a timing limit. When I called corporate, because the store that sold me the mattress had coincidentally closed, they created a problem report and I'm presently waiting on a phone call from the district manager to fix this issue.
Customer service also stated, because these mattresses are hand made (really???) they can be up to 1 to 2 inches off. I've never heard of such a load of incorrect information and who would purchase a mattress based on a hope that you get the correct size?? Also, there's no sizing disclaimer on the website stating this rubbish! So, waiting on a phone call...

He listened to what we were interested in and took us through the different levels of firmness. He also double checked to make sure we weren't interested in the different products and he didn't pressure us. We were in, and we were out. And the delivery went well. The bunky board was really heavy. I immediately received a call from their team lead. The delivery guys reported the damage. On 09/23/2018, she emails me asking for pictures of the damage. I respond with pictures. Subsequently, I am in contact with another team lead. He explained how difficult it is to find a contractor for such a small job. The team lead sent a repair person to my house on 09/24... This person was most likely an unskilled day laborer. Based on his explanation of how the repairs would be done to my new construction home, I asked him to leave. I sent an email explaining this to the original team lead.
In summary we went back and forth until I explained to her... "Your company caused the damage so your company should be responsible for finding someone to fix the problem." Fast forward to 10/11/2018... The original team lead calls me to tell me that they have agreed to accept the bid from a contractor off of HomeAdvisor. She said I would receive the check in 7 to 10 days. It is 10/23/2018 and no check.
I contacted the original store on Yale Street in Houston, TX. I asked that this be escalated to the corporate office. The person on duty refused to have a district manager or his corporate office call me. He provided me with a customer service line 1-866-942-3551. I called and the automated system stated that they can not provide me with service for one of their retail locations. I called the store back and spoke with the same person. He asked me to call back in the morning and speak with the original person I was working with. 33 days later and still no resolution. Buying a mattress from Mattress Firm was the worst mistake I have made. Still waiting on a resolution.

I called Mattress Firm on Friday at a "clearance/outlet" kind of store. I spoke to a lady that told me they had 50% off pricing on floor model and used ones. I never purchased a used mattress before and wanted to know if it was cleaned. The lady over the phone stated it was cleaned hospital grade sanitized, but the floor model ones are not. I also asked DO they do same day delivery. I was told that they do. On my drive from one of my errands to get to the store that helped me over the phone, I put Mattress Firm in my GPS and there was one less than 10 seconds of me turning onto the highway. I went in, found one I couldn't stop going to.
She wasn't pushy and attentive to my needs. The manager told me she had one that was the used one. The price was great, but then the delivery I was told would not be either today or tomorrow, but inconveniently during the week. That is the reason I spent that time to make the purchase was to get it the same day. When checking out, it wasn't quite clear if I was truly getting the used, which is hospital grade sanitized, or the floor model. However, the manager stated they ALL of their floor model and used mattresses are hospital grade sanitized.
The issue with getting the product to me made no sense regarding location no matter how much it was explained to me in store. I called and it still was a story of the product being in one store, but not in the warehouse, which is not even 30 minutes away, from my guestimation. Really thinking of reconsidering the purchase because I'm not sure of what I am actually getting any difference in information from people in same company over same procedures. I am just questioning the product to come since it will be a final sale, as well.

Mind you, no one could tell me what was going with the order, and it had not been shipped. I was frustrated. After the cancellation, the next day, I get an email from FedEx saying it was on the way! Like I mentioned, I had previously canceled the order. I call again and inquire about it, and I was assured that the item was still at the warehouse, and would not be shipped. I had to basically cancel it again. She assured me that the item would not be sent to FedEx and that I would get an email from her in the morning once she confirmed the warehouse intercepted the order. However, in the morning, guess who gets a tracking number... ME! They sent my package out, and did not cancel, and the order that I DID NOT WANT, was now on the way.
I called AGAIN to complain and explained everything. I was told I needed to cancel it for a THIRD time, and that the package would be rerouted to the warehouse. This process took several days. It was eventually sent back to the warehouse, and it took another 7-10 days for a refund to be processed after that. Mind you, this has been close to a 3 week ordeal already! I only ordered a mattress topper! Then, when my refund was processed, I didn't even get the full amount that I paid back! I had to call for the umpteenth time to get the rest of my money! Given Mattress Firm's proximity to our house, we decided to purchase from them and, over a couple of days, we bought three mattresses. We like two of them. We got one of them for my aunt and we picked what we thought would be okay for her because she was not able to get to the store. However, it was a little too soft. She's 90 and she has difficulty getting out of the bed just because it is a little too soft.
However, it was the attitude of the salesman as far as follow-up care and his concern that we found distasteful. Initially, our experience dealing with them was good, but there were some issues with the delivery and that was where things became a little difficult. The issue was that one box spring wound up having some holes in it. It looked like when the men grabbed the box spring and brought it in, their thumbs went through the fabric. It was some little scrape, which is not a big deal, but I'm buying something new and I don't expect something that I'm buying new to be already having some damage to it. So they took pictures and asked me to just accept it, then call the store and make an arrangement for a replacement, which we did.
The salesman was upset that we accepted the mattress. We should have rejected it because it would cost him more money to send out a replacement. He arranged for another one to be delivered but the stitching was completely off on that one. It was horrible. It was like they did not look at the mattress from a QA's perspective at all. We wound up rejecting that one and they took it back. Eventually, we got the third box spring as what we finally had. From a sales perspective though, the salesman was good. But because there was some quality issue, I would just suggest that they make sure at the time of delivery that everything is okay.

I needed something close from where my mother lives and I went with Mattress Firm. Also, I liked their ratings on the website. I got my mother a mattress, box-springs, and a frame. When the installers came in, they set them up and left. Their sales reps were very helpful, too, and my experience with them was excellent. But I probably drove them a little nuts because I kept calling multiple times asking more questions so they could educate me. My mother has dementia and she is in assisted living, so it was a difficult situation and I asked if we could return the item if she decides she does not like the thing we bought.
Also, when I brought my mother in their store to lay on some of the beds, she had to kinda hop up on it and their rep, Ned, did not tell us about giving her a lower profile box-springs. So when my mom got it, she had to climb up into it and slide down. I got on the phone immediately and told him that it was not working and we talked about measurements. The reps should have awareness on their part and it is their job in making sure that my mom has something she can move on to more easily. But the next day, they had a low-profile box-springs delivered.

Mattress Firm was good all the way around. My friend told me to check it out, and so I went there to get some pillows, and they had them on sale. Also, I wanted to change out my bedroom, and go from a queen-size bed to a full bed. The sales representative was great. He knew what he was talking about and was courteous. He explained as he showed me the differences in the prices, and the differences in the product itself -- the softness, and the pillow top, and just different things that I really wasn’t aware of. He had me sit on one and feel it, and I liked the firm one better. Go check them out, they are nice and they'll give you a good deal!

I attempted to make an online purchase but was unable due to issues with the website so I started a chat and was able to complete the order. I received a confirmation email stating I had made an order and that delivery was to be the following Tuesday. In a few more days another email showed up with a link to check tracking. I used the link the day before scheduled delivery but it stated nothing was found so I started another chat session and was told the tracking wouldn’t show up until the scheduled delivery date. I proceeded to inform the chat person that I never received the phone call from the store to schedule my 2 hour delivery window and was told they have until 9:30pm to call and to call customer service at another number if I never receive the call from delivery.
The following day is now scheduled delivery day, I never received a call for the scheduled delivery window and called customer service only to be placed on hold so I finally hit 1 to have them call back. A customer service rep finally called back and after being placed on hold a total of 4 times at 5 minutes each times she informed me that she was unable to get a hold of anyone at the warehouse and that she was going to have to email them and wait for a response. I informed her to cancel my order. I did this due to numerous bad reviews I had read while waiting on them to call back, not to mention website issues, and since they couldn’t even make a simple call the night before to confirm delivery. My spouse took the day off work since we thought it was going to show up. Lesson learned!

I saw an ad for a mattress with an adjustable bed and then the rep from the Mattress Firm store I asked from was very rude and didn't care if I bought anything at all. He showed me Mattress Firm's basic adjustable platform and then the cheapest mattress. I purchased it and I got it home, and it was like sleeping in a hospital bed. But in the store, it felt all right just lying on it. I was really thinking about the price, so within my timeframe, I went to a Mattress Firm that was closer to my location to do an upgrade. The rep there was very nice to me and when their crew picked up the old mattress, they told me they would take the base. According to the store, however, they weren't supposed to take the base, but they got permission to do so. It was all just messed up and I got charged for that base which I should have gotten credit for.
I've got the mattress and the new frame in here. The rep upgraded the base and it's nice. However, when I got the mattress that I picked in the store, although it was the same kind of mattress, it wasn't really the same. There must be different qualities of this particular mattress because the one at the store did not feel like the one that I got. The rep got it out of a warehouse and she did not tell me that it was a used one. She said that it has been disinfected, but she didn't do that until after. Also, when I lie on it, the one side would conform to my body, and that was how I found out that the mattress I got was something that someone turned back in. The rep said that I should just sleep on the other side. With all of this going on, nobody would do anything.
I got a bill from Synchrony Bank for $3,000+ dollars. Apparently, Synchrony Bank has gotten my credit messed up. My payment ended up being $91 for $3,000+ and it was supposed to be $2,000+ and $40+ a month payment. I went back to the store and the girl who sold me the upgrade was very rude to me and didn't wanna have anything to do with me. Then finally, this other girl, Millie, got the adjustment straightened out. I trusted her and I kept calling her, and Synchrony Bank said I have to straighten all this out with them, both times. I have had an awful time. Yesterday, I called Synchrony and I was sobbing my eyes out. They got the adjustments from Mattress Firm but I still had to pay $91. I was so upset. I'm 75, I live alone and I live on a fixed income. This was devastating.
Synchrony Bank has been horrifying to deal with over this mix-up and this mess, and I pray to God that this issue will be straightened out. The girl that I spoke to at Synchrony supposedly has corrected their mistake. She claimed it will be straightened out but to wait for 7 to 10 days. I sent the $44 payment but they were still charging me $27 for late charges because the issue has been in dispute.
I'm very dissatisfied with Mattress Firm. Once they sell you the stuff, you can go to the moon. The rep didn't want to make any kind of restitution after I found out that the mattress had belonged to somebody else. They’re mad to think $2,000+ is no big deal. They said I was getting the best mattress, but it's the last mattress I would have. I have tried to send messages to Mattress Firm to let them know of my dissatisfaction but I got nowhere. Nobody ever returned my calls or my emails and I was totally ignored. That certainly made me have an even worse feeling about Mattress Firm. The only thing that will make me happy is if they give me the mattress like the one in the store that I thought I was really getting. I would never buy anything from Mattress Firm again and I would never recommend them to anybody. My family has been through this with me too and they said the same thing. My experience with Mattress Firm was horrible.

I did an online search and made the purchase from Mattress Firm over the phone. I got a tulo Mattress and it was not what I thought it was going to be so I had replaced it with another. I was told that the mattress was gonna be firm and that it was gonna arrive at a certain date but when I got it, it was very plush and it did not arrive at the right day. They also sent some frames in the wrong place so I had it canceled. But then the people at the Mattress Firm in Lake Oswego were very helpful in helping me to find a correct one, and they didn't make me pay more for it, which was great. What I have now is a good mattress and I like it.

6 years ago I spent $2600 on a Seabrooke Queen Beautyrest mattress and box spring set. It was ok for a few years but gradually became problematic. After 6 years (it has a 10 year warranty) I contacted the store where I purchased it and was told to go online to get help. Then I was told to contact Simmons. No support at either place for my problem because you have to show a 3/4 inch divot to get any help. The way the mattress cover is designed the problem does not show up until you get on the bed. Long and short of it, the memory foam was not great and I got no help with my product. I felt like the company did not honor their warranty. This would not have happened if I had made the purchase at Costco. I am going to buy a Tempur-Pedic product from another store.

The Mattress Firm's sales rep that I dealt with was fine but he didn't tell me about the skinny box-springs that’s available. I’ve never seen it posted on the wall that they have them and they didn’t tell me about it when I bought the mattress before this one. It was a different place though. If they told me about it, I would have bought it. Other than that, they were perfect. The mattress is fine but I liked my old mattress better. It was eight years old though and it was warped. I just wanted this because it was real cheap. It’s a $600 queen that was on sale for $99. It’s not the highest level of mattress but it’s okay. I can lie on it.

The sales rep was laid back and wasn't pushy. He was easy to work with and we didn't feel pressured at all. He asked us how we slept and what we were currently sleeping on. So after going to them, we kinda had an idea of what we were looking for. We got a mattress and an adjustable base, and we were able to negotiate the price. The delivery experience was fantastic as well. I was very satisfied with Mattress Firm.

Although their sales reps were busy, they were attentive and seemed to work with us and got everything done. The delivery went well too. They gave us a two-hour window and were a little late, but they said they were all over everywhere. They got it set up and things went smoothly when we asked them a question about the bed before they left. However, we just have the mattress for around three weeks and it's already dipping a little bit which concerns me. Other than that, I had a good experience with Mattress Firm and I'd recommend them.

Mattress Firm had a Labor Day sale, where you could get a free base so we decided to stop by their store. The sales rep knew the different products very well. We had the mattress delivered and the delivery team was a little late. But we understood. They delivered it on Sunday morning, really early before church and it was kind of strange. But they put it together and we were able to make it to church on time. They were also very nice.
We got the product where you can raise the head or the foot up. It was like the split king. You have your remote control, which you could do what you want to with your side of the bed. We had a Tempur-Pedic and we were upset that it didn't have cooling gel in it. It seems to be hot but as long as we jack the thermostat down a little bit lower, it’s better. We're glad that we can try it out more, like 120 days, and that if we're not satisfied, we could take it back. I would recommend taking a look at what Mattress Firm had to offer.

I went to the Mattress Firm clearance store on Saturday August 29th 2018 to buy two matching twin mattresses. I got a pretty good deal on price, one mattress was available to take away, the other was "arriving on Monday". The first red flag was when they brought out the mattress for me to take away and it said "pre-owned" on the packaging. I let that slide because I realised that was the reason the price was lower and I decided to accept it. However, Monday came and went and I got no call about the mattress. I called up Wednesday to ask what happened to the mattress and they said it is due to come in on Thursday. I called Friday, they said it was in. I drove over and they couldn't find it. Then they said, "oh, the system says it is not due here until the 6th". I'm rapidly running out of patience as I needed the mattress today. Debating just demanding my money back and going somewhere else. Definitely won't shop here again.

Wow not even sure where to start. The service was horrible from day 1 and we should have ran but we really needed a mattress and figured mattress firm was in every corner they should be a good company, right! So very wrong!!! So we went in to make a purchase the salesman Ray tried to get us to buy the Bentley of all mattresses for close to $6,000. After much negotiation and us letting him know that’s but what we want he quickly changed times and decided he didn’t want to help us as well as he was. Anyhow so we bought the mattress a Serta smart react Lynbrook king size. So it comes on a day it’s pouring rain out, I called to reschedule. They said they couldn’t. It was on the truck and it’s coming if I like it or not.
I was not home my husband was. The mattress comes, I get home and notice a huge jump on the right side, go to put the sheets on and the bottom corner was dropped in the water. So next day I call Ray. He says the hump should go down - that it was probably standing up in the warehouse and the stain was our fault we didn’t see it beforehand. We should have never accepted it so tough luck. We waited a couple weeks and the hump never went down. Called the store. He said they were out of stock and he will contact me when it comes in. Never heard back. A month before my 120 days was up I went in and told him, "Listen I need a new mattress." He said, "That one is discontinued. There’s nothing I can do here but I can replace it when we get another one in of that kind. Or call customer service and make a warranty claim." I made him sign my receipt that I will get a replacement, because I knew this wasn’t going well.
Been having the runaround since day one. So I sure enough I go online, make the warranty claim, take all the pictures. Wait a week or so didn’t hear anything. I call corporate get a hold of someone they go through my account and I tell her the story and she tells me because of the stain they can’t do anything it voided the warranty. I said the hell it did and explained the runaround and issues. She said, "Sorry can’t help you. You're stuck with the mattress the way it is." I then told her I had a signed contract it would be replaced. Sent her the email, she put me on hold and voila, gives me a voucher for the amount and to go get a new mattress. Seem’s simple, right? Nope here we go with more runarounds. So we go get a mattress, pre-owned, no warranty $3,000 mattress for less than half the price. The mattress comes to be delivered. It has a huge gash on the back side. I refused it.
Called to complain, I got a 3-year warranty and replacement. Week later, they come to deliver another one. It’s a different mattress. Are they kidding me right now!!! I had to change my schedule, not go to work, my husband had to wake up early before his time to work all for these 3 deliveries and we still can’t get a damn decent mattress. What the hell is wrong with this picture. I’m so furious right now, my stress level is through the roof and I’m getting extreme anxiety. All over a mattress. Buyer beware, do not buy from them unless you want to pay and use your hard earned money to get screwed and have a heart attack. I wasted more work time between me and my husband for these deliveries than the mattress was worth. I have pictures and names for everything I stayed here.

He was honest and he showed me different things, then I made a decision and I was out the door in about 15 minutes.
Another couple also came in while he was helping me and he took the time to acknowledge them. They had the perfect bed that is good for my wife because she has bad back problems. They had a good sales rep and he was helpful, friendly and professional. His customer service was great and although they were just two guys in there and they were busy and had a lot of customers, they tried to help everybody out.
We ordered the mattress and it was supposed to be delivered between 11:00 and 2:00. But our order did not show up until 3:30. My wife called the gentleman who we bought it from and tried to get the delivery fee and assembly fee waived. He told her “Yeah, sure” but it was not true because I got the bill in the mail the other day and the delivery fee was not waived. Also, the two gentlemen who delivered it were kinda lost and they did not even know how to set up the frame. It took them a lot to figure it out and got it set up. When it was time to test out the controls, we noticed the bed was not going up or down and it was not doing anything. So, one of the gentlemen lifted it up and the zip ties were still attached. That aside, the mattress is great and we love it.

We just told him we want a comfortable one but not too comfortable because we don't want them staying too long. We also wanted it for $500 or less. He went looking through some stuff and he came back with a package that was exactly $500 for a memory foam mattress, a box spring, and a frame.
The delivery team called before they got there. They asked where the bed was going and I showed them . One of the guys came in and he had the frame together in a matter of minutes. He was back outside. The two of them carried in the box springs, set it on there, went back out, brought the mattress in and put it on there. But before they started all that, they put on little booties before they came into the house so they wouldn't track any dirt in.
