The sales rep from Mattress Firm was great. She explained all the different prices and the ranges, what my options were and the packages that she could put together. She was very thorough. I didn’t feel pressured into buying anything. She just wanted me to make sure that I purchased what items were meeting my needs.
I got a mattress and a stand that elevates, and then a box spring for another room. The delivery team put together the frame first, and the gentleman wouldn’t take off my mattress because I had left it outside so that I could vacuum underneath where the mattress was. He didn’t speak English very well and communicating was a little difficult. He said it was not in their policy if you brought it outside, so I called the store and he went ahead and left. He was leaving it by the garage and I had him set it back up underneath my front porch. I kept telling him, “I have no way to take this anywhere. Can you please put it in plastic?” But the store manager, Leslie, was awesome. She had the other manager come to my house and pick it up. She was extremely personable and professional. She puts her customers at the center of everything she does. I have never had such great service anywhere in my life, so I’m a Mattress Firm customer for life now.

I bought the furniture because Mattress Firm had told me my furniture was coming on weekends. I got the mattress the same weekend, and then they kept back postponing the delivery date and back ordering it over a month. Also, I went three times, and on the last time, they tried to sell me something I didn't want. I had the mattress for a month, but, unfortunately, the furniture that goes with the mattress didn't come. I didn't wanna give the mattress away because I was moving, but there was no point having it. But, other than that, the buying in-store experience was great.

I looked on Google Maps for a mattress store and Mattress Firm was near me so I went into the store. The store wasn’t too crowded so we had a lot of personal attention. There was a sales rep who helped me out and he was nice. I told him I knew what I was looking for and so, he just searched the ones that fit my price range and my specifications. I bought a regular mattress and a box spring. It’s a great mattress and I really like it. The delivery came 24 hours later which was a pretty fast turnaround. They put it right where we asked them to. There’s nothing more I could have asked for from Mattress Firm. It worked out well for me and the prices were good.

I bought a really comfy foam mattress from Mattress Firm. I needed the mattress for school and there was a sale. I had a good experience with their sales rep and the delivery went well. My experience with Mattress Firm was good.

I got a mattress, a box spring and a bed frame from Mattress Firm. The sales rep was very helpful and the team that delivered the products also did a good job. They came in and did their thing. However, the pricing was a little high. I wasn't thinking of going anywhere near paying the amount but their offer of $2,400 in 24 months gave me a little wiggle room.

My husband selected Mattress Firm and I went over there. The service was good as well as the location and the discounts. The sales rep helped us out to pick up the best available product for us and made it easier. We bought the mattress and the base which was a small box so we picked it up. The mattress is comfortable and I have been sleeping well for the last three weeks. I will recommend Mattress Firm.

I had put off buying a new mattress because they are expensive and there are so many to choose from, I was sure it was going to be a hassle. Because it was Labor Day weekend and they were having their sale I decided this was the time to put up with the "hassle". I could not have been more wrong. Brandon and the staff at the Mason Rd., Katy, TX location could not have been better even though they had a leak in the ceiling and part of the store's ceiling had collapsed. I have two torn rotators in my shoulders and they fitted me with a great mattress, gave a great price, set up the delivery the next day (they arrived earlier than the time), and took away the old mattress. Both processes went perfect and I highly recommend Mattress Firm and will use them again in the near future. Great job guys!

Everything has been great with Mattress Firm. We’d been there before and we really liked the manager that we talked to so we went back. We purchased a queen-size mattress with the two-way adjustable, the head and the foot base. We were thrilled enough with that one that we returned and bought another one which is a king-size. The delivery was good, but they need to fix their oil leaks on their truck. We got a big puddle in the driveway which would probably stain. Nevertheless, we're in love with the mattresses.

We usually go to Sleepy's, but Mattress Firm took over that company so we figured out it's still the same company that we dealt with in the past. Recently we purchased a queen size bed from them. It's a good bed. It is nice and firm. We had a quick and painless experience. The sales rep gave us a good deal. They had toys for our daughter to play with to keep her busy so she won't jump on all the beds. On the other hand, we got bunk beds from Bob's but we didn't wanna get the mattresses from them, so we got them from Mattress Firm. We ordered three. Our kids love the mattresses and they're a lot more comfortable.

This was by far the easiest I have ever done business with a company. Their customer support was superb. Look forward to getting my bed delivered on Tuesday. To get a new bed with box spring, frame, and protector and delivered for under 1500 I was very pleased.

Mattress Firm had a pretty good sale going on. I bought from them a really good and comfortable full-size bed. The representative also did a pretty good job and she was really friendly. The delivery was good as well. It took a few hours from purchasing to receiving the product. It was quick.

I bought a 14-inch hybrid mattress from Mattress Firm during their close-out sale. The sales rep spent a lot of time with me, we looked at a lot of different mattresses and I laid down on a lot of them. I was looking into trends of $1,000 to $3,000 and they had a pretty wide range. I needed a full mattress rather than a queen size, so it was hard to find them in close-outs, but he had this one that seems to be for sale for anywhere from $2,200 to $1,300, depending on the ads they're putting out. He had one model left and I asked to try it.
Eventually, I bought the mattress and an adjustable platform for it. It has up, down, head, feet and zero gravity features. It goes flat, too. The delivery team got to my place, took away the old mattress, and set up the adjustable platform. They tested it and it worked. Then they left and five minutes later, it quit working. I called my salesman who was alone in the store, but he was fairly helpful. The delivery guys were gone and it was a weekend so I went to the website for the platforms and discovered that there was an emergency thingamajig in the flat thing. I had to crawl under the bed, put batteries and that leveled it out. Their guys were able to come back a week later. They took the whole thing apart and re-attached all the cables. Now, it works fine.

We needed a mattress and Mattress Firm was just very close. Our interaction with the sales rep was very good. He was able to bring out multiple samples. We bought a standard mattress, I picked it up and I got to try it out already. It was fine.

We had purchased from Mattress Firm one time there before at a different location and had a pleasant experience so we went back. Their rep called me and said that the mattress has had a little water damage and she apologized for that. She said they didn't want me to have that so I have to give them a couple of days so they could get me a new one and have it delivered. I was gonna just pick it up but my schedule was a little crazy. They made arrangements to have it delivered to me for the inconvenience and I was very happy with that. The delivery company showed up earlier than expected so everything went very well. My wife picked out the mattress and I'm good with it. She sleeps very well and I would recommend it.

Our experience with Mattress Firm was very positive. We were in Massachusetts and we were buying a mattress for some place in Virginia. Mattress Firm has locations in both places so we went to their Massachusetts location to try out and pick out the beds and then have them delivered to Virginia the same day we got there. It was very helpful that we could do it in one location and sent it to another location easily. Plus, there was no delivery charge because they had a place there and the timing worked better.
The sales rep I worked with had us try out all the different beds. We liked the medium but she told us to try the firmer and softer one since they run differently. She paid very good attention to everything we did. I originally planned to call the place in Virginia and order it from them. But in the end, she took all the information so that she would be able to see if they had it in stock. So, we bought a queen size foam mattress from her. She was nice and very knowledgeable. She was a true salesperson that she wanted me to keep going with the sale but she was not too pushy. When the bed was delivered, the delivery people set it up and they did a great job.

We drove past a Mattress Firm and we were happy with the price and with the people that were there helping us. I was asking where Bed Bath and Beyond was to go get sheets and the sales rep said they were having a special on sheets. He showed them to me and I was happy with the selection. We’ve only washed it and slept in it a few nights, but so far it’s working well.

There was a sale going on at the time when I first purchased from Mattress Firm. I originally bought two twin mattresses, but I ended up exchanging them for a full size. The experience with the rep was fine. I went to the store to go try the mattresses but then I ended up ultimately purchasing it online just because it was easier than going back and forth. Also, the delivery was quick and the guys were in and out. I would definitely recommend Mattress Firm.

We’ve been looking for a mattress and knew of the Mattress Firm store, so we went there and got a Beautyrest Black. I worked with Tom and he was great. He didn’t like to suffocate us. He gave us great information, and he backed off, and then was around, like not lurking though. We weren’t intending to purchase one that night. We were information seeking, and we just went ahead. The delivery guys were awesome. I tipped them, and I don’t usually. They were on time and they called me early in the morning because they couldn’t fit me in earlier, but my schedule would allow it. I also need mattress for my daughters and I’ll be going back there

We laid on every mattress at Mattress Firm about 95 times because I didn't want to invest more money in something I was not gonna be happy with as much down the road. The reps were gracious. We kept asking a million questions and kept going back and forth. We were straightforward with them about what we had and what we didn't care for and they were so knowledgeable. It was awesome. The manager was there and one young girl that was delightful. We got the iSeries and the adjustable base from them. We picked it up and everything was good.
We're getting adjusted to the bed and we are playing with the adjustable base. Even if I don't ever use it I like the fact that it says zero gravity. My husband said I just wasted $700, but it is okay because I can sit up and read in it if I want to. We're very tickled. My friends need to definitely check out Mattress Firm and they should take time to lay on every mattress like we did.

I was in a hurry to buy a mattress right away and Mattress Firm had a decent price, so I went with them. I got good customer service and I would highly recommend them. It took me a few days to get used to our new mattress but I have a 10-year warranty, so I'm kind of feeling it out to see if this is right for me. If not, I'm gonna have to return it and probably get something else in exchange.

Our experience with Mattress Firm was not very good. First of all, we didn't get the adjustable bases on time. We just got them three days later. The guys first came the first day that they were supposed to come, but then my husband asked them to leave the mattresses but he said they couldn't leave those mattresses without the entire order that we had ordered. So they promised my husband they'd be back the next day with the bases, but they didn't show up the next day. A different group of men showed up with the mattresses and they had to put those mattresses on their side because we didn't have the bases to set them on. They brought it out and when they did, the plastics fell out. One of the mattresses was fine, but the other one was completely torn up. So they had to take it back and put it back on the truck. We had to sleep on the air mattress over the weekend until Monday. We didn't get the other one until the 12th of August.
Furthermore, my husband was sleeping on the other mattress and I didn't like his mattress because it feels like it's all sunk in. It's like someone had it previously and it's just all broken down. So the guys brought mine on the 12th. I've been sleeping on it since but then I woke up and it felt like I've got a stiff neck. Also, my upper back has been kinda bothering me, which I was fine before I had the mattress. I've called the doctor and he said it's probably because of my new mattress. Each day, I feel like I'm sinking more and more down into it. The mattresses are high on one side than the other side. Mattress Firm said that that's the way it's supposed to go in because the label goes at the bottom and so it looks higher on the feet side than on the head side.
Also, my daughter is not really happy with hers. It feels hard as a brick and it's taking her forever to break it in. She tried to raise the adjustable base and it won’t come up because her bedpost is on the way. She's also claiming that when she's laying on it, it squeaks. They're all the same three mattresses, but they completely feel different. We're not having a very good time.
When I called the company, they said I have to call the manufacturer that made the base and talk to them about it, which I was very upset about because just a week before that, they had told me that they could bring out another mattress. I'm just aggravated with the whole thing. It doesn't seem like anything is going right. Also, the mattresses are still within the timeframe to switch them out. We like a firm supported mattress, so we want it to be kind of fluffy on top and they're basically telling us that that's the only mattress that Mattress Firm has. Still, I do like the fact that we get the two free adjustable bases with a purchase on the mattresses.

My experience with Mattress Firm has been really pleasant. They're close by and I went to them and bought a California king-size iSeries 500 Cushion Firm mattress. I worked with Eddie and he was a really nice guy. He was very patient and he spent a long time with me but he didn’t try and push anything on me. He just showed me all the different beds, and I picked the one I wanted.

I always wanted to have a motorized mattress. In fact, I’ve been inside the Mattress Firm store at different times. The sales rep I worked with was nice. He knew a lot about the beds and that made me very happy. He helped me. When the bed was delivered, my wife was there and she told me the delivery team did a nice job of putting it together. It is beautiful and the memory foam has the adjustable feature. It also goes up and down and it has the vibration feature as well. I would definitely recommend Mattress Firm to a friend.

My partner and I want to make sure that we get the best discount when we buy mattresses from Mattress Firm by combining our sales. We put them on our rental properties, and we have bought five or six ultra plush soft king sizes in the last four or five times. Mattress Firm has been great and they have been easy to work with. They deliver when they said they were gonna deliver. They sell a bunch of different products in the stores, which is always nice to have a good choice, too. The best thing is, I can go back to them or my partner and his wife can go back to them and say, “Hey, if you’ll pull up all of our accounts, you’ll see that we bought a lot from you in the last couple of years. I wanna buy another one, can you give me your best deal?” It’s always better than any deal they have in store.

I just came from Australia and I just got a place to rent. We asked someone where we could get a mattress and they said Sleepy’s. It was close to us and so, that was where we went. We bought a Mattress Firm bed and the bed head. The sales rep, Ray, was very good and personable. He was a helpful sort of bloke and a good lad. The delivery was fantastic and it was on time. They rang up and let me know what was going on. They came and put the bed together. It was all good.

After extensive research I purchased a Beautyrest mattress from at the time Sleepy's (now Mattress Firm). I love the mattress, my wife has back issues and the mattress has been great. However 2 years after purchase the seams are coming apart and the inside of the mattress are starting to come out. After unsuccessfully filing a claim with Mattress Firm I contacted the Manufacturer (Simmons) who pushed the process through. Just to be told I have an in store credit to replace my mattress. This would have been fine but they do not carry my mattress anymore, so I either buy a "lesser" bed, or spend $1500 for the equivalent replacement. I can find the bed elsewhere, but Mattress Firm only allows in store credit and will not simply replace my defective mattress with the same bed or equal quality/style, they see it as equal "price" which for my wife's needs does not mean the same as "quality."
The way I see it they are making money off of me, I already spent a lot on the original bed, now they are having me get a cheaper bed, or I have to spend more money to get the equivalent quality and style of sleep. If and when this gets sorted out I will not be purchasing a future mattresses from them as I would expect better customer service for a warranty issue.

BEWARE!! What you see is not always what you get. My husband and I went into a Mattress Firm in Nanuet, NY. We wanted to order a mattress and box spring for our son, who is in school in Va. We didn't want to spend a lot of money, as it is his last year in college. The salesgirl found us a very good mattress that was on "Clearance" and was in our price range. So far, so good. When I called to find out the time window for delivery, everything changed. Suddenly, the mattress was too damaged for delivery and if we wanted they could give us a "new" bed for $75.00 more. Unhappily we paid it because we were stuck and my son needed a bed.
I figured I would deal with Mattress Firm when we got back home. Why should we have to pay anything extra? It wasn't our fault that the mattress was not fit for delivery. When we came home and went into the store to try and get our money back, we were told that the original mattress was a "USED" mattress and was more damaged than they thought. USED??? That word was never used when we bought the bed. Someone clearly needs to teach their employees the difference between "clearance" and "used!" Bottom line is that they refused to reimburse us for their mistake, and they have proven to me that they are NOT a reputable company that cares about their customers. So buyer beware!! What you think is on sale is probably used, a mattress that someone returned after 45 days, and they pull the bait and switch scam by getting you to order something and then having a problem with it at your cost. Very disappointed and unsatisfied!!

I purchased a protective mattress cover from Mattress Firm since they were close and available. Plus the pricing wasn’t too bad. I also really enjoyed dealing with the sales rep, Gary. I initially talked to him on the phone then I went by there. I asked him if they give military discount and he did. He even gave me 15% instead of 10%. That was good. He said he floats around different stores but he gave me his phone number in case I wanted to buy something else. I will probably buy a mattress and a mattress bed spring and I will go though him because he was very nice. If someone asks me about Mattress Firm, I would also give them the sales rep that I had. I would even text Gary and let him know that someone I know is coming there and have him talked to them.

The Mattress Firm on Roswell Road had trouble getting the mattress we wanted for a guest room, but a young salesman there was able to find a similar mattress, if not better, at a reasonable price. He’s a nice kid. And he did a good job. Then the delivery team came in and set the new mattress up, and it went well.

I've gotten a mattress from Mattress Firm. It was overpriced but comfortable so I bought another one. The saleslady was knowledgeable and pleasant. My only complaint is that I was not informed that they don't do in-house financing now and that they sub it out to a credit card company. They should be upfront about that. They opened up a credit card in my name and then maxed it out, which did not make me happy. I'm going to pay that off here this month and make that go away. But other than that it was fine. The delivery of the mattress was five days after I bought the mattress and the delivery team was here in their delivery window.

The sales rep was good as she was willing to give me a discount. Also, I had purchased the bed frame and then I realized that it would not fit, but I was able to refund it before it got delivered and I was grateful for that. The delivery people were real good guys too. I wanted early in the morning but got stuck in the later part of the afternoon, but the old mattress was out and the new one was in within 15 minutes.

We saw a Mattress Firm commercial on TV where the price and the payment were right. Their rep was very good and he told us about the difference in the mattresses so we could choose which firmness we wanted. We got an adjustable mattress frame and the mattress and we love them both. The delivery crew did a very good job too. They came right in, set up, explained everything to my husband and were gone within 15 minutes. We had a very good experience and we had very good results with the mattress and bed.

Bought this mattress in Houston Texas, bought there before but this mattress I did spend more on, but has been the worse mattress ever, because they gave me a "deal", I could not return or exchange. It has been 2 years now and I have back pain EVERY DAY, I have tried putting a thick mattress cover, sleep on top of pillows, nothing helps, Will NEVER buy from them again, and I have credit with them, so dissatisfied, because I cannot do anything but throw away, and get one from Sam's. I feel that I was given a mattress that someone else had, never had a mattress that made dents in 4 months, and no I am not overweight, I am 51 and weight 125 lbs.

On the road, I see the Mattress Firm store in Totowa. I went in and Andrew, the sales guy, was fantastic. He provided me all support and helped me a lot in understanding how the product worked and during the delivery. He chose the appropriate product for my budget, and he helped me a lot to search for the appropriate product. Also, he gave me a very nice deal. We are really happy with him. It was really great and the product is fantastic. I bought all the mattresses for the whole family, and the family was really happy with all that. We are six, and we have one king and four queens. With the new beds, we are much better than in past and we are having a very nice rest time. I strongly recommended Mattress Firm and I recommend Andrew.

I’ve never had an adjustable bed and there was no charge for that, the promotion Mattress Firm were running at the time, so I got one bed. Then, the next weekend, I called back and I told them that I knew the promotion was over but if they gave me the same deal, I'd take another bed. So then I bought two of them. The rep I worked with pointed out the different units but she wasn't pushy and wasn't trying to sell me more expensive mattress. I definitely appreciated that. Also, my interaction with her was brief, which was nice because I was in a hurry. So, she did a great job there.
The delivery was good. The guys were wonderful. They were really helpful and they took the old mattress. Then, setting up the bed they made sure they worked and tested them out. I work in restaurants my whole life, and I really appreciate when people give good customer service because it doesn’t always happen anymore. However, there's a little metal thing that holds the bed so when you put the back up, it doesn’t slide off. The way it hooks on, it comes off easily. I’ve even tried to bend it a little bit more myself so it kinda holds together a little bit better. But between me and my kid jumping around, getting on and off the bed, it pops off sometimes.

I bought from queen mattress from Mattress Firm in the past then last time, I bought two twin mattresses. My experience with them was always good, quick, and easy, which is very nice. Their reps were good at helping me find what I needed without trying to upsell and they met me where I was at. I had been to a different mattress store and since I’m young, that other store acted like I couldn’t afford anything and wasn’t going to buy anything. So I was very impressed that Mattress Firm treated me like I was really going to buy something because I was. Also, my experience with the mattresses has been great.

We bought a Beautyrest Bridgewater Firm mattress August 14, 2017. $1400 we spent and it has only been a year, so it is definitely under warranty. It has developed severe sags on the sides and has to be propped up with extra cushions underneath it is so bad. Our request for a warranty replacement was denied (they said) because our bed doesn't have enough slats? This bed was bought at a furniture store. We didn't build it. And the defect has nothing to do with the slats, the box spring, or rips, stains, or tears (we bought two different protective mattress covers from Mattress Firm). We feel like our replacement request was denied only because they didn't want to foot the cost of the replacement. I would not recommend Mattress Firm to anyone and I am certain that I will not do business with them in the future.

I have been using Mattress Firm at home for about two years now. I'm also a repeat customer. I recently got a full-sized Beautyrest mattress, and the sales representative who sold it to me was informative, funny, and fast. I went in pre-conceived to leave there with a bed, but I just didn't know which one, and he helped. I had it delivered afterwards. My son loves it, and he gets a good night's sleep. It's comfortable.

I found a lovely green futon mattress on the Mattress Firm website, a natural and not-too-dark green with a decorative tan cord along the seam. I purchased this mattress but what I actually got was a darker mattress with no cord. When I enquired about this I was told that I received the mattress I ordered, the picture I saw was advertising the futon frame (even though it was the picture linked to the forest green color of the mattress I bought). I'm still in correspondence with a representative so not sure yet how this might resolve. Meanwhile Mattress Firm gets 2 stars for speedy delivery but false advertising.

I'd bought from Mattress Firm before and recently, I purchased a Serta queen-size mattress. My experience with their sales rep was pleasant. The delivery was great as well. Both times I had to change something out and both went fine. They were very accommodating.

I got a king-size bed from Mattress Firm and the saleslady was very nice and patient. She helped us go through all the different options. The delivery was very quick and convenient. The mattress is comfortable. We really like it and we're overall happy with our purchase.

I was looking for more affordable mattresses and I needed more than one. I had heard a lot of good things about Mattress Firm and I thought that they would be the best. Being able to speak to someone online on the little chat thingy was the biggest help. The rep was able to ask how much I was looking to spend on how many mattresses. I was able to answer that I needed two mattresses under $700, and they did it. The representative helped me find exactly what I was looking for.
So once I went inside the store, I knew what I wanted and I was in and out. The whole thing took less than half an hour which is always good for me. It was efficient and my purchase also got here as soon as possible. The team that did the delivery was very good and fast. They lifted the mattresses with ease and they didn’t touch anything with the mattresses, which was great. It was a great experience overall and I love the mattresses as well. They are so firm and very comfortable, and I sleep well at night.
Mattress Firm has a lot of reputable brands as well as top-notch ones. Some people are into the Sealy Posturepedic and the memory foam stuff, and I was able to go and see some of the other ones also. Mattress Firm has a wide variety and I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t be able to find what they need at Mattress Firm. Others should definitely look at them.

Well I simply went to the store at the Cedar Hill, Tx location to view mattresses. The manager was extremely pushy and my mother felt pressured to give her information to obtain the financing details. After this I asked a question about the adjustable base out of curiosity. However that was apparently a bad idea because the manager then pressured my mom into adding that to the items we would have on hold. She clearly did not want it, however he wouldn't take no for an answer. We did not agree to purchase anything but they made us place it "on hold" so we'd have time to think about it. He assured us that we were not placing an order, simply putting it on hold and we DID NOT sign any paperwork although I did bring the printed documents stating the potential prices.
Three days later I called to CANCEL the whole order. The manager wasn't there so I had to call back a few days later. However, the salesperson was trying to charge me for a pillow we did not purchase or take home with us. I told him we didn't bring a pillow home and would wait for the manager to call since the salesperson couldn't cancel the order. A few days later I finally got ahold of the manager and told him we DID NOT want anything on hold and did not want to make any purchases. He continued to be pushy and try to sell me a different mattress over the phone. I clearly stated we didn't want anything and he eventually agreed to cancel the order.
Well... why did we just receive a message saying our mattress and base would be delivered today?!?? He clearly did not do what he said and wanted to make his commission off of us. I have once again called to cancel the order and will refuse any type of delivery. I am now afraid we will still be charged $2000 for items we did not purchase since they are not a trustworthy company. I was planning on making a purchase of my own in the future; however, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I have now recorded the last conversation and will be using it for future reference if they attempt to charge my mother for something she did not want.

In July I purchased a King mattress and a low boxspring for my summer house on Cape Cod, which was to be delivered the following weekend. The mattress arrived, along with half of the box spring. The delivery people said they had no responsibility for the other half of the box spring because the order was placed wrong. The store manager said it was the delivery people's mistake, and he had no responsibility for it. Eventually they agreed to deliver the other half box spring the following weekend. That next weekend I waited for hours and finally received a call that the delivery truck had broken down. No half box spring. On the THIRD weekend of the summer that I spent waiting for my half box spring, the truck showed up on time but they refused to take my old mattress and box spring, which had been part of the deal.
Again, it was the store manager against the delivery people, with no one taking responsibility. Finally the delivery people got permission from their boss back at the warehouse in Rhode Island to take the old stuff away. For my trouble, Mattress Firm said they would take $400 of the sales price and give me a free pillow. I asked repeatedly for an adjusted invoice to be emailed to me, but finally I had to go into the store and walk the salesperson on duty through the problem. I did receive the adjustment, but no pillow. Also, I financed the mattress and this morning the bank is calling me because Mattress Firm input the wrong mailing address for me. My advice: buy your mattress at Macy's. Mattress Firm is the bottom of the barrel.

There is a Mattress Firm store near the house where I just moved in. I checked in the store and I looked for something that was in my budget, not something too fancy that I can't afford. I asked the seller what does he recommend and I went on it. My experience with the sales rep was good and he answered all my questions. We recently purchased a king and a queen size mattress from Mattress Firm, and the delivery team arrived at the wrong time. They had to adjust the bedframe and didn't have one single tool, so I had to loan them tools out of my small packet. They also didn’t know what they were doing, putting the bed together. I told them that the mattress was going to be below the level of the bottom of the headboard. In other words, if you’re sleeping and you push up on a pillow, it could slide between the mattress and the bottom of the headboard. They said it was all right because the mattress is thick. I had to have my son-in-law come and absolutely adjust what they didn’t know how to or want to adjust. It wasn’t professional at all. But my experience with the rep was terrific. He was really attentive and he tried to help me with any questions I had.

I purchased a mattress only from Mattress Firm and was told that the sale was buy a full size mattress but pay the price of a twin size. After purchasing, l discovered l could purchased a better mattress and box spring included for less. However, I received a call asking for my experience of my purchase. After expressing my views I received a follow call from the store where I purchased the mattress. I found the salesperson rude and unprofessional not allowing me to express myself. I would urge anyone to shop around before going to Mattress Firm. I am almost guaranteed you will find a lower price. NEVER AGAIN.

I purchased a $500 mattress at a Salisbury, NC store for a guest bedroom that would only be used several times a year. My nephew came to visit over the summer and slept on it for just under a month and the mattress is sagging terribly down the center from top to bottom. My nephew is 5'5" and weighs 116 lbs. I downloaded the silly measuring device from the warranty claim site and submitted all the pictures they requested. Mattress Firm claims the mattress meets manufacturers' standards and to make matters worse they offer a 2nd opinion from a third party for $80. This was definitely too good to be true. I don't want my money back, I just want a comfortable mattress that I paid for. I have a mattress that I purchased brand new from the flea market 12 years ago and it has not sagged. This company's dependability is just like their mattresses... sagging.

However the day of delivery someone else called me and said my mattress was no longer available and I’d have to pick out something else. I purchased a mattress October 10th or 11th of 2017, it was delivered October 13th of 2017. The delivery team put approximately 20 holes in my walls and broke a clock. My daughter was home for the delivery and after telling them several times to stop she was ignored. After they left she called the store and spoke with Tony Waldren, the manager of the South Bend, IN location. I also spoke with him later that day when I came home from work. He apologized and asked for pictures of the damages, which we sent to him, and promised it would be taken care of. There is an estimate of $700 or more in damages, including but not limited to repairing the holes, repainting, and replacing the clock.
I periodically followed up with him until he transferred locations and he referred me to the regional manager, Brad **. I've communicated with Brad and he suddenly stopped responding to my emails. Come October it will be a year since the damages happened as well as a year since we started communicating with them about the issue. At this point my mattresses will be paid off before the damages will be fixed. I am highly disappointed in their competence and their customer service, and this issue has caused me great deal of unnecessary stress. I will never do business with Mattress Firm as well as I will not refer anyone to their stores.

But when we were supposed to pick up our mattress, the second rep got our purchase all mixed up so we had to go back to the store. We got the BlackICE mattress and we like it. There is a Mattress Firm store down the road from my house and there was a sale for the 4th of July. I got a memory foam mattress with an adjustable base and the sales rep I dealt with was professional. He showed me what I needed. But apparently, I was sold a product that was out of stock. It was back-ordered and it took a long time to come in. I wasn’t made aware of that at purchase and I slept on an air mattress for a couple of weeks. The delivery was almost a month after I bought the product. Next time, I would probably go shop somewhere else.

I hadn’t bought a mattress in 20 years. I saw a Mattress Firm ad on TV about the financing over one year and I said I’d definitely go there and hope I could find something. I went to the other stores and people there would simply tell you to look or they don't even wait on you. I simply sat there, bounced around looking. I went to Mattress Firm only looking to see what it would be and the young lady that waited on me was so nice and informative. She had the beds laid out to try them. It was on the 4th of July and I didn’t even know they were gonna be open, so I was very pleased. They also offered low monthly payments. I bought a full-size mattress and I like it. The delivery guys arrived on the time they said they would and they even delivered it on a Sunday. I was amazed. I’ve told my friends how great their people were.

On October 25th, 2016, we purchased a Beautyrest Bridgewater Firm mattress for our second home in Kitty Hawk, NC. Important to note, a second home that we winterize, and spend, at maximum, 6 months a year. In other words, there is below average wear and tear on a brand new mattress. Upon our recent visit, my wife sat on this Master bedroom bed (where my father in law normally sleeps) and noticed the side of the mattress was very soft. As we tried the bed along each side, we realized significant inconsistencies in the structure of the mattress. We then stripped the covers off the bed to scrutinize the mattress itself - wherein a significant depression/hole was immediately evident.
At the time of deciding to purchase the King mattress from Mattress Firm (along with two additional Kings and one additional Queen), we expressly ordered FIRM, supportive mattresses largely based on the fact that both my father-in-law and myself have steel rods inserted into our spines, following individual back surgeries over the years.
Is this particular King mattress defective? It appears highly likely. Is this mattress under WARRANTY? YES it is. The local Mattress Firm store gave a similar response to those I’ve read here, saying it’s up to corporate to make a decision on remedying this situation. We complied with all of the required protocols for the warranty procedures on the website (e.g., providing photo evidence of this depression with a Mattress Firm-provided ruler) and ultimately received a $300 credit towards a future purchase. For the record, we paid $3,959,33 for this mattress (incl components, tax and delivery) less than two years ago and have spent far less than that actually living and sleeping in the home. And again, this is just one of FOUR mattresses purchased from this NC store. Is this how “Corporate” demonstrates accountability, not to mention customer appreciation, for an estimated $15,000 order?
We respectfully disagree to consider this to be a “closed case” - further, it appears we were not even provided with the mattress we originally intended to purchase. MOST IMPORTANTLY we draw your attention to comments noted (by the salesperson) on our receipt. An employee of Mattress Firm wrote “Changed Mattress due to No Stock, Early Delivery Possible.” It appears the store self-determined they could substitute our order with an inferior product, and perhaps the 80 yr old buyer (my father in law) may not notice the difference. Well, we have all noticed and are concerned about this potentially deceptive practice. And thus, following this unacceptable experience with Mattress Firm - locally and corporately - we are taking time out of busy schedules to raise this matter with Consumer Affairs. In closing, BUYER BEWARE. It is our experience that Mattress Firm does not appear to stand by their conditions under warranty.

My boyfriend got his bed from Mattress Firm a few years ago and he really liked it. So, that's the first place we went to for my bed. Their rep helped us and was able to look up exactly what my boyfriend had purchased, and we tried that out. I ended up going with something else, but the rep was great. I got a mattress and then they had some special where an adjustable base came with it, and I got a pillow too. It was a great purchase. My back and my neck are a whole lot better now. So, the experience was great and the sales are always good too. I've also told my mom about going to check there for her mattress.

She explained everything to me about the mattress and how to get a better sleep and it worked. I also bought a California king size mattress from them before, and its quality was very good. I purchased a mattress and box spring from Mattress Firm and it’s absolutely a much more comfortable mattress than what I had before. The location of the Mattress Firm store I went to was convenient for me. The sales rep there asked me a bunch of questions like what I was looking for or how it was gonna be used and then he made a couple of suggestions. He was awesome. Then a delivery company brought my purchase in and they did a great job. They took the plastic off and took it with them. This is my first encounter with Mattress Firm. I visited the store located at The Landing in Renton WA. The sales staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed our conversation on both of my visits. I purchased 2k worth of mattresses and accessories for my apartment. Additionally I purchased the delivery option for the next day. I was told that my mattress would be delivered between 4:00pm and 10:00 pm. I received a call at 4:28 pm from the driver indicating they were 10 minutes from my apartment. I informed them I was 5 minutes away. I got to my apartment and I never heard from the driver again.
At 4:56 pm I called the driver to see where they were thinking maybe they were caught in traffic, no answer. I called again at 5:20 pm, no answer. I then called the store location where I purchased the bedding and spoke with Scotty. Scotty was eager to assist and said he would contact the driver. Scotty called me back and informed me the driver was back at the warehouse and that he had waited 20 minutes and left. What delivery company delivers an item and NEVER contacts the consumer that they have arrived? Then, when the consumer tries to call them, they don't answer. I have attached a screenshot of all calls incoming and outgoing to the delivery driver.
I informed Scotty that I was going to cancel my order. He told me he would contact the driver and inform him. Scotty called me back and informed me of the driver's reply: "Well I guess that sucks doesn't it." Scotty informed me that he wasn't really surprised as they have had many complaints against the delivery company. As a consumer I have the discretion of how and where I choose to spend my money. In addition, I had to sleep on the floor of my apartment for two nights as I didn't have the bedding that I had already paid 2K for. All this for a lazy delivery driver to say "Well I guess that sucks." As much as I wanted to give Mattress Firm my business, I will be getting a refund this morning for my entire order and shopping elsewhere.

I have loved the Purple Mattress commercials since they came out. Their marketing is fantastic and I’ve always been curious about trying their products. There’s a 100-night guarantee but it sounded like a lot of work for them to ship your mattress, try it out and then I have to ship it back in case I didn’t like it. I stopped at one of their stores one day, tried the mattress, loved it and brought my girlfriend in. She tried it, loved it and we decided to take the next step and buy it.
The sales agents were phenomenal. They were very knowledgeable. It’s hard not to be able to sell this bed in my opinion and they were very helpful. I enjoyed working with them. I thought I had a California king-sized bed, but I just had a king-sized bed but apparently, that happens a lot and they were very patient with me. They took the wrong bed that I ordered back and then the next day they brought out a new one. I've had my bed for about a week now and I love it. It’s a fantastic bed.
Mattress Firm did everything they were supposed to. The people that brought in the mattress threw the red carpet down. The only thing they didn’t know is put the little booties on. But since I have four dogs I am not really worried about them wearing tennis shoes in the house. I told a co-worker about my Purple bed because I thought that this would solve a lot of his back problems. I bought him a Purple pillow today from the same Mattress Firm and I know he’s gonna love it and then, he’s gonna go to the same store and buy a mattress himself.

My wife and I spent $4,428 on a Tempur-Pedic mattress and a Rize split base adjustable queen bed and the Rize adjustable bed part was $2,700 plus tax alone and it's already broken and I called the manufacturer and I've been waiting on parts for over a month now. Don't buy a Rize adjustable base. They are junk.

However, the people who delivered the product were not equipped with the right tools and things that they need to do the job because it seemed that they were very limited. I bought a queen-size pillow top Sleepy’s Slumber mattress from Mattress Firm. The guy who I spoke to at the store knew his business. It’s important to know the product and he did. He seemed a little bit pompous but that didn’t bother me so much. He was very polite with the way he recommended the product that I got. Also, they agreed that they would deliver the bed. I needed it that Saturday because I was coming to this town for a project. While they gave all that information and the kind of warranty, I was a little disappointed that the rep didn’t leave any paperwork or any price that I paid. I also noticed that when I went back to the site, they said that it was free delivery but I was charged almost $80. Even so, I loved the idea that I got the bed with the elevating frame for the $699 price. I also want to buy another one next week when I get paid and have it delivered to my mother. Everything with Mattress Firm went smooth.

Mattress Firm was having a really great sale and I needed a new mattress. Their sales representative was awesome. She really knew her products and steered me in the right direction because I kind of told her what I was looking for. I laid on at least six beds. She let me lay there as long as I needed to, to try to figure out which bed I wanted. I purchased a mattress and the adjustable bed frame. The guys who delivered the bed got it all set up, and they took away my old mattress, too.

I've purchased quite a bit from Mattress Firm. I've had products from them in our home for almost 10 years now. This time, we purchased three Dream Beds--two king-size and one queen-size. The rep who worked with us was great and helped us out a lot. He made us feel like we knew exactly what we were given and we didn’t feel like we were buying something that we didn't know. I am satisfied with the beds. They are great and comfortable, and the king ones are really nice and cool. However, it's a little disappointing that we didn't get anything for free and our bill was almost $9,000. I talked to the rep and he told me that they don't do that. But I have bought from other Mattress Firm locations and I know that when you spend a large amount, they at least throw something in there, like one of those Columbia Cooling Pillows.

Mattress Firm has a variety of selections so I chose to buy from them although this wasn't the first time that I bought their products. We had our old Mattress Firm products for five years. This time, I got the queen size Tulo memory foam. I didn’t have a memory foam before so I like it and I sleep well in it. The salesman was good and he walked me through the different options, too. During that time, they had a 4th of July sale where they got an adjustable base along with a purchase that reached over a certain amount.

We bought a hybrid Beauty Rest and it's the worst mattress I've ever owned. We wanted to get it before I went through some medical stuff so I'd have a nice bed. I spent a week on it after my medical stuff and it was just ok, at that point the store said I needed to give it more time. I went to spend a few months with my husband that is stationed in another state and when I came home I was able to give it a fair chance.
After giving it the couple weeks they said to see if it really worked, I hated it! I'm pregnant and sleep is really important but the so called form hybrid is too soft and hurts my hips terribly making sleep impossible. Not to mention it's already sagging! I contacted Mattress Firm and explained the situation. The lady didn't seem to really play attention to a word I said but she did inform me that it's part the 120 days when if we hadn't used it for the 120 days due to being with my husband in another state. It was no longer their problem but a warranty problem.
When I asked the CS rep. how they would be able to help due to the issue being that the mattress was too soft she said they wouldn't and to try a mattress topper to make it softer! She clearly wasn't listening at all because I needed a firmer mattress and that was the whole point of the conversation. All I wanted to do was exchange my terrible mattress and the was no resolution or help from them. I will never buy from them again nor recommend them to anyone, I will be sure to inform everyone of my awful experience with Mattress Firm!

We had an old Tempur-Pedic that had become sunken and wasn’t recovering. We weren’t getting the rest and sleep we needed. My wife had a back surgery a year ago and her back was really starting to become a bother and a concern for the both of us. We needed a proper support mattress for her to sleep on. We’ve seen Mattress Firm's advertisements on TV and they had acquired several mattress companies that we had dealt with in the past. Then, in the store, Larry showed us a dozen different beds, trying to find the right price range, the right firmness, softness, and feel for the mattress of what we wanted. I was a little bit overwhelmed because of the volume of product choices, but because of that, we were able to find something within our price range and the firmness that we needed. The mattress I bought was an iSeries, and my wife and I both love it.

I had a bad experience with Mattress One, and Mattress Firm was the other company that was close to where I lived. I purchased from Mattress Firm for the first time and got the Beautyrest Memory Foam Mattress. Everyone at the store went above and beyond to assist me. In terms of delivery, it could have been a little bit better. There were two delivery guys. One delivery guy had covered his shoes and he wore gloves, but the other guy didn’t. I also asked them to leave the plastic on so that I could take it off ‘cause I saw the other guy didn't wear gloves. But when I came back after going in the kitchen to get some water, they took the plastic off in the hallway and dragged it on the floor until they got into my room.
It’s a brand-new mattress and I don’t want people touching all over it. It was my third mattress delivery from Mattress Firm because the other two were defective. The first two were clearance mattresses. When the first one came in, all the Memory Foam was on one side and it was lumpy. The second one that they brought out to replace it was flat so when they turned it on its side to bring it into the house, I could see the foam was sliding to one side. The delivery guys opened up the mattress and tried to adjust the foam. I told them that there was no need to do that because they weren’t wearing gloves. They had been in the heat and were sweating so that was germs and sweat all over the mattress.
At that point, I said that it was not working out with the clearance item and I just need to get a brand-new one. It was the same brand but a different model and it seems to be fine for now. In addition, other Mattress competitors provide either a free mattress protector or a pillow with it. I got a free mattress protector, but it was a basic one and I also had to ask for it. I asked for the five-sided mattress protector and I am going back later this week 'cause I was told that it was $60 more so I just have to exchange and pay the difference. But I paid a little over $4000 for the mattress and dealt with three different deliveries and I don’t really see what the big deal would be to just throw in the mattress protector, even if it is $60 more. But overall, everyone at the Mattress Firm store was very helpful and friendly.

I went to the Mattress Firm store and the person who helped me out was great. I bought three mattresses and they delivered them, but one of them had a hole. I told the guy who delivered it about the hole, he saw it and said that the hole was huge, but it wasn't. They said they were gonna bring a new one, so they brought a new mattress which had a hole in the same spot as the first one. The guy took pictures of it and then called the manager in the store. The manager said that they were gonna send another one, but I told him that I did it twice already and I had a select time to be home for the delivery. Also, I live in a two-storey and it’s difficult to get in with the guys taking out the other mattress, so I didn’t want them to deliver another one.
He said that if I cancel, I need to get a new mattress. They have to deliver everything. So for me, I simply tried to avoid the delivery. They came again and they took the mattress and brought another one. I told them they should refund the mattress because I was gonna keep the mattress just the way it was. Then I told the delivery guy to take pictures so he could see it. The minute the store contacted me, I said that I didn't want an order because the man came with a mattress that has a factory defect. The guy I dealt with said he spoke with the boss and the boss was gonna give me $200. I don’t think it was fair for them to give me just $200. I kept the mattress the way it was. I haven't had the time to check if they put $200 back in my account, but I expect for them to stand on the credit given to me.
I also expect them to contact me and also make me a good offer in that phase because I had a bad experience twice. For them, it doesn’t matter if they lose one mattress, but I bought three mattresses. I was a good client. Other than that, I’m happy. The delivery crew was amazing. They were so nice to deliver and they understood my frustration.

We went to Mattress Firm years ago looking for a new mattress by extending our bed from a full size to queen. We needed new rails that would hook to our foot and head board. The person who was working there had no idea what we were talking about. So we left. We went back last Wednesday and talked to Nina. She knew exactly what we wanted. We ordered our new mattress and the rails for the bed. It was delivered the next day Thursday. The delivery men that brought it were very courteous and helpful. They took the old mattress and box spring out and put our new bed together with the new rails and the mattress. We were very pleased with Nina and also the delivery men. When my husband passed away, I wanted to redo my room because of the memories. We had a king size bed and I decided to downsize to a queen size. I am disabled and I don’t really drive. I was kinda in a real bind to get a mattress without having to travel away from my neighborhood. Also, there were no options in my neighborhood. My girlfriend told me that there was a Mattress Firm which I didn't even know. It was right next to Walmart that I go to once in a while.
I went down to Mattress Firm and I said to the gentleman I'm trying to buy a mattress and a box spring in queen. He misled me from the minute I walked into that store until I left. He was giving me sales pitch after sales pitch about the best mattress. When I left, I regretted every moment of making the purchase. I came home and told my girlfriend that I spent $3,500 on the mattress. I asked her if that was a lot of money and she told me that it was a lot of money for a mattress. The first night I slept on the mattress, I said that the mattress is not for me. It hurted me and it was very hard and very, very firm so I tried calling Mattress Firm the next day. I called all day and no one picked up the phone. I called again the next day.
I must have called at least 100 times between the day after I purchased the mattress to the day when a younger gentleman answered the phone. He told me that if I don't sleep on that mattress for at least 30 days, how would I know the mattress is no good for me. I told him I had problems and that I don't need for him to tell me that if I slept on the mattress for 30 days, then I would be fine with it. I also said the mattress was too hot and I cannot sleep on the mattress. It went on for a couple of days and the gentleman, Kevin, never got back to me. I left him 10 messages saying that I was not happy with the mattress. I never got angry and also called him an angel. I was begging him to get back to me and I needed to change the mattress but no one got back to me.
Someone said that Kevin alternates at the Somers store so I called the Somers store and I got a lady who was very nice to me. She said that she can help me. She was the only reason I stayed with Mattress Firm. I bought the mattress because I liked her. She had a very good personality. Kevin told me that I could change that mattress anytime I wanted to but he never told me about $99 for the truck to bring it or take it and the 15% restocking fee. It was a lot of money on a $3,500 mattress and he never gave me all those details. I was bound to the contract and it was stupid of me to sign it but I didn't lose my money. I ended up taking a much cheaper mattress with the nice lady and that's what I am stuck with. Mattress Firm is a very terrible company and I bought a mattress that I don't like. I will never go back to their company and I would not recommend anyone to them ever.

The Mattress Firm sales rep did his job so everything worked out. I bought a queen bed and the delivery team delivered it a week later and set it up. The bed is great. My experience with Mattress Firm was good except when I set up a payment plan with them where they deducted an x amount of dollars. I was gonna pay it off in three months, no interest, but they took a payment. They’re supposed to take a payment again on the 10th and they took it on the 4th. They completely caught me off-guard because I had an account that I wasn’t using often where I was using that to deduct it. It ended up going into where they withdrew my account and the bank went under. I was very inconvenienced with that. Other than that, everything went smoothly.

Mattress Firm is convenient. It's across the street from my office. Their salesperson there was a very wonderful woman and a sweet person but sometimes people don't need what all they're selling and trying to sell. Their products are very overpriced and there was a lot of pressure put on you to buy. I wish that I wouldn't have gotten the upgraded bed frame that lifts the feet and lifts the head. It was not necessary, but I did. They delivered the bed to me and they were fabulous. They set it up and I couldn't believe how fast they were. Mattress Firm is wonderful as far as the products go but I've never paid this much for a bed in my life. I was gonna send my grandson there to buy a bed and the sales rep called me about him and there's no way a 22-year-old needs to have a $3,100 mattress.

Mattress Firm had a good sale going on with adjustable platform beds and the sales rep I worked with was knowledgeable and efficient. A team delivered the bed and they were on time and courteous. They were in and out in 20 minutes for the installation, which was very good. I've had the bed for about a month now and it's good so far. It all worked out well.

I bought a queen-size mattress from Mattress Firm and so far it's been great. It was the display model and it's a firm unit. I had a perfect experience with their sales rep and it was beyond what I hoped for. I was greeted instantly and she directed me through everything. When I walked in I was sticker shocked and she could tell that I was in a situation where I couldn't really spend that much. She then found the most cost-effective option for me and helped out a ton. I had a very pleasant experience with Mattress Firm and they made it super easy to get the mattress I needed.

Have bought 6-7 mattress from Sleepy's in past 15 yrs. Most recent purchase (queen size bed) was 3 yrs. ago and mattress has developed lumps & saggy pockets. Filing a complaint requires doing it online for free with uploaded pictures (difficult/impossible if not a millennial), or paying $80 for an inspection. Had my millennial daughter upload pictures. Claim denied due to no middle post/leg extending from middle of frame to floor. Am now told to satisfy the warranty, that is "a must". In buying ALL these box springs & mattresses, I only ever been told it needed a mattress cover for protection. Now, even though I'm within the warranty period, without the middle leg, I have been denied.
If you look at the old Sleepy's site, there's no middle leg. The customer service person went on to explain that, "The website displays the full size bed frame. If I had continued to look at a larger size bed, I would have seen a middle post/leg." She finally offered me a 20% coupon off another purchase. Are you kidding? Lost my job 10 years ago and just put 3 children through university with no remaining loans. Health care costs me a minimum of $20,000+/year. I detest these people. They are taking advantage of the "nonmillennial" population who often can't upload photos and charging $80 for an inspector travel to the home and file. I had my "millennial" daughter upload the photos (which wasn't easy even for her!) and the site just rejected everything. These folks are crooks!

Got a king bed and frame and financed through Progressive. Had to pay delivery charge $79 for them to take it 2 blocks because they said I had to have it delivered. Took a month to get my pillow in that we bought. $79 for bed covering because I had to get it but they could not tell me how much my payments was but it wouldn’t be over $200. Wrong. $270 a month for a year. I will never buy from them again.

Last April (2017) I purchased two box spring and mattress sets from the Wilmington Store. The customer services was second-to-none! Fast forward a year later... the full size mattress developed a two inch canoe-like dip in the center. I went into the store and spoke with Bob who took my situation very seriously and said the matter would be resolved; but, I had to go thru the warranty process. He was kind enough to start the process and I went home, read the warranty e-mail and was absolutely shocked!!!
I had to dismantle the bed to take various measurements (using some measuring tool they said was "attached" and my repeated e-mail to them went unanswered), the wanted photos of the frame and a VIDEO with sound so they could hear the squeaks. This was a lot of work. Took the photos and sent them off. Rec'd an e-mail asking for the photos, responded that I had sent them. They came back with "we need more". Now my question to them was, "How can you tell from a photo if there is a dip in the middle (mind you, one photo I took I used a measuring tape to show the dip)." I suggested they have a service that come out and measure the mattress like every other company does. They said I had to go thru the warranty service.
At this point (and 4 weeks later) Bob was good enough to intervene with the corporate folks and I rec'd a call from Mattress Firm who asked me to send... wait for it... photos!!! I had already sent 15 photos, three times. I told the young lady on the phone I would send no more photos, I was not making a video and I wanted the mattress replaced and MF should have a service that comes to the house she said, "We do, but it will cost you $80.00" RIDICULOUS!!! And then she said I would have to pay $100 fee for the new mattress to be delivered. EVEN MORE RIDICULOUS.
So, in short, Bob in the Wilmington Store provides the best customer service ever. He is knowledgeable and goes to bat for his customers. The delivery people were prompt (apologetic that they were a few minutes late - not a problem!) and had the new bed set up and the old one out in about 10 minutes. Very professional. The warranty service? HORRIBLE. It is because of the warranty service process that I would not purchase from MF again. If the mattress has a 2 inch dip after one year, please don't put the customer thru the torment of photos and videos. I was never told up-front they had a service to come measure, and the store manager was not award of such a service as this was a new warranty system - it stinks, get rid of it. And don't charge people $80 for measuring and then $100 for delivery. P.S. I did not pay the $100 delivery!

I was looking for a new mattress and Mattress Firm was the first place that I thought of. They're one of the most popular places. I walked into a store, explained what I wanted and the salesperson walked right towards where all the mattresses in my price range were and I picked one. It was a really easy experience and I was very satisfied. I got a mattress, a box spring, and a bed frame and it has been awesome using the products.

My ex-husband used to work for Mattress Firm and we got our last bed from them. They had really good deals right around the time that I needed a new mattress and we knew that they had a really good return policy, that they would come in and help us set it up and that we could get it delivered to my new apartment, which was a big part of the deal. I got a new queen-size mattress. It is lovely but I wish I had seen and felt it in person. It’s a bit firmer than what I usually like. It was my grandmother who bought it on my behalf, so I couldn’t really blame her for that. Nonetheless, I love the size of it, and the box-springs and the stand that it came on are great. The bed is comfortable for the most part. Also, the delivery drivers were lovely, super efficient and they arrived on time. They put on those little bags around their shoes and they were super quick. It was done in about 15 minutes. The experience was great and I’d definitely recommend Mattress Firm.

The only good thing I can say about them is that their salespeople are very nice and helpful. I bought a mattress about 18 months ago now and have tried for over 6 months for a warranty claim. They make it impossible with the requests for pictures that can't really show how bad the springs have given away under the pillow top. Plus they ask for pictures that are almost impossible to take. I sent in all the pictures they requested and more than they needed showing that I had a large divot where I sleep in the mattress. They insisted I needed to pull the mattress and bed apart and take more pictures. I told them I'm a disabled veteran, and cannot physically do what they were asking for, not to mention since I cannot do that they're actually violating the law, and have been completely ignored.
I asked them to send somebody out. They said they don't send people out. Then I asked them how they did the warranty if they don't look at it, because a couple of pictures will not be acceptable by a company. I was ignored again. It's not like I didn't have proof I bought the mattress, that was all given to them with pictures of the tags. I guess they are just feeling that being disabled makes it so you don't have to honor your warranties. Thing is I have bought two mattresses from them, and a king size adjustable bases that I needed for multiple surgeries. I've spent thousands there, I will never spend another dime because I have found out how bad they lie. Also good luck getting responses from their email. All they do is send you the same cut and paste response.

About month and half ago bought a brand new mattress and with adjustable frame. My new Exterminator which is costing $900 on top of $1200 I spent on the mattress/frame because we believe to came with bed bugs with the frame as they are inside the cloth part. Never in my life have I been more disgusted and never have I ever had this issue until I bought a new mattress. I highly recommend always checking all everything before you off on anything.

We purchased mattress from MattFirm in Glen Ellyn, IL., paid $1700 and they gave us adjustable base value $699 free which we didn't ask for it but they gave it to us anyway. Mattress didn't work out for us so we went to return it, guess what they told us. We can't return the base and they'll deduct the $699 from the price what we paid for mattress. This is completely dishonesty and fraud. There is nowhere it indicates in policy and salesperson didn't mention anything about that. So, be aware of this firm and watch out for their policy about 120 days comfort sleeping etc... Actually stay away from this place. They are very dishonest people. We are NOT going to give up, find every avenue to our money back.

The Mattress Firm rep was helpful, listened to what we were looking for and gave us a number of different alternatives. It was a relaxed environment but she tried to upsell us a bit. After working with her though, we were able to get to where we needed to be in terms of price. We got a queen size hybrid mattress and it was a bit of an adjustment because I haven't had a hybrid mattress before. It takes time to get used to. We were the last delivery of the day and the bed got delivered at 8:00 on a Saturday night. Understandably, the crew wanted to get it wrapped up as quickly as possible and get out of there but they were professional.

Mattress Firm is the biggest mattress company that I know of. I got a Sleepy's memory foam mattress from them. On the day of shipping, they gave a call that it was on its way, and then they were there in 10 minutes. They had fair pricing too. It was a pretty good experience with Mattress Firm and would definitely do it again if I needed to.

I’ve had Beautyrest for years. It just got old with a few lumps in it. We decided we’d want another mattress so we pitched Mattress Firm's mattress and the twin queen box came with it. I happened to be at the Akron Plaza so I went in, started talking to Cody and I thought of buying one from him. I used to be a mattress salesman and Cody did it by the book. He was a nice guy and he did a good job. I’m well-satisfied with the product as well as with the deliveryman. Everything was good.

Mattress Firm was doing a clearance sale and I ended up getting the entire Alcove Hybrid Plush bed set. It included the adjustable base, a mattress, sheets and a pillow case. The sales rep that we worked with was very professional. He offered us with as many deals as he could and the experience was exemplary. It was not until the delivery portion that everything fell apart. The experience was atrocious although it wasn’t exactly the store’s fault. From what I understood, either Mattress Firm has a third-party delivery service or the people who work in their delivery aren’t part of the store and the store has no control over them. That was what they kept trying to tell us.
The delivery was behind schedule and we didn’t know that we weren’t getting our stuff until five hours later when we had already put all of our plans off. They didn’t even give us a window for when they would make it to deliver. We sat for a week and a half with our old mattress already put outside and gone through the rain. When I tried to check the GPS, the truck wasn’t on the map and that raised the first red flag that something was wrong. Their delivery people turn off their GPS if they’re gonna be late. Then when we called the store to see what was going on with the delivery, the same guy who was such a wonderful customer experience representative inside the store was especially rude. That may have been because he had already received numerous calls from people who were not getting what they had asked for on that day. But that entire facade that he had whilst we were in the store was gone.
When we finally got a hold of the delivery people two hours later, we found out that the driver's helper had been hurt. A few stops occurred because of that but they never called us. Mattress Firm could put a stricter protocol informing people down the line that something has occurred. If we wouldn’t have called, we never would have known. The store manager opted to reimburse us our deposit for the delivery though. And those things aside, the product’s quality seems good. The underside light of the bed doesn’t work but when we reached out to Mattress Firm, they suggested troubleshooting and if that doesn’t work, to call the manufacturer to see what they could do. But one concern out of all those moving parts really isn’t that bad.

In the end, I bought a mattress from Mattress Firm and it came with the free adjustable motorized frame. Their sales rep was fantastic and great. We love the mattress and we're really happy with it. Now, we sleep a lot more soundly.

In May 2018, I was helping a sick 89 year old retired school teacher purchase a mattress (over $500) by phone. The mattress delivery people broke her front door and it would not close. We called the company and they told us to get it fixed and to take before & after pictures and a picture of the payment so they could reimburse her. We emailed the required information the SAME DAY. After numerous phones calls to various managers, she still has not been reimbursed. As we all know teachers are woefully underpaid and their retirements are even less, so she needs her money. This month she will turn 90. By now they should reimburse her the entire amount of the mattress. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Mattress Firm should be boycotted.

We got a mattress and box springs from Mattress Firm. They are local and convenient and the rep was very friendly and knew his business. He also wasn't pushy and left the decision up to us. We picked the mattress ourselves and no one came out to demonstrate it but we like the product that we bought. It's a nice bed and really comfortable. We had the opportunity to give it a try and we only chose just what we were looking for. I would recommend to at least check Mattress Firm out.

When I was shopping for a mattress, I saw the sign of Mattress Firm and I stopped by and decided to buy one. The rep I dealt with was very knowledgeable and very polite. Their people were very helpful and they explained exactly what I need instead of pushing the products. The mattress was delivered to my home. Their delivery crew was very efficient, polite and funny. They hauled everything that they needed to and helped us more than I expected. I like the new mattress. I picked the firm one but my wife doesn’t like it firm. Nevertheless, I’ve had the mattress for a month and I can sleep now without pain.

I was running another errand right in the mall where the Mattress Firm is and I decided to run in there too. I bought a mattress and a box spring, and another mattress. The salesman named Will was amazing and very personable. He walked me through a bunch of different kinds of mattresses and different price points. I’ve done some previous mattress research and he was able to show me comparable products and explained why they might be a bit better and I might be willing to spend a little bit more. When he felt that it was gonna be too expensive, he was able to offer me a free box spring and make it a more palatable purchase for me. He was a really nice guy and a good salesperson. He was just the right amount of educated and friendly without being pushy, which was a very nice balance.
The delivery team, on the other hand, delivered the products considerably late. It was the day that we were moving so that was annoying. They communicated with us but at that point, they were telling us there was nothing they can do about it. Also, my husband does not like the mattress because it's not firm enough for him and so we're returning it. Still, if you need a mattress quickly and you don’t know anything about mattresses, it’s really helpful to go to a store where you can try a bunch of stuff out and talk to somebody who can help you.

I like the lift portion on the frame. I had a Sleep Number before and I was fine with it, but I enjoy the sleep of the adjustable part.

I purchased from Mattress Firm before and it was a good experience so I went back. They seemed to have the best deal at the time when we needed a mattress. The rep had us test a few beds to try to decide which kind we like the best. Then once we narrowed it down, he showed us a few different options and he knew his stuff pretty well, so it was really nice. I purchased a king size mattress this time.
The delivery was on Memorial Day and it was great. They were having a big sale at the time and we had to have the mattress delivered before the adjustable base. They are doing free adjustable bases. So they were out of stock in the adjustable base by the time we ordered ours. But the delivery of the mattress came exactly when they said it would. They said that they were gonna be running late and then they actually showed up early from the time they told me that they will be here and that went flawlessly. Then the sales rep did his best to try to track down an adjustable base as soon as they had them back in stock and scheduled that delivery and that one went flawlessly as well. This mattress is the best one we had. It was a good experience all around with Mattress Firm.

Purchased our last mattress from same place. Took about 2 years before the mattress started to sag. Finally we had enough so we went back to Mattress Firm. Bought one, brought home and within 2 nights there were sags in the mattress. Complained and they are allowing me to change mattress. I do but now it has to be delivered. \When I saw the adjustable bed frames advertised, I decided to buy the Queen-sized bed frame and mattress from Mattress Firm. Their sales rep was very helpful. He answered any questions we had and showed us several mattresses until we decided on the one we want. The delivery went fine and the quality of the mattress and the bed frame was what we have expected. We're very satisfied with Mattress Firm. I would recommend it.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a new mattress and Mattress Firm had the best deal for good quality mattresses. We walked in to their store right by our house. We found the mattress that we really liked and it was part of their sale in July, so we purchased it right then and there. We had it delivered but it's still in the plastic right now since we're still waiting for the bed frame. Mattress Firm is a great store with good products and at the store by my house, there was a young woman working there who was really great, absolutely knowledgeable and was very sweet. So, our whole experience was great.

Mattress Firm was conveniently located on the day that I was looking for mattresses and I ended up getting two kings and two queens from them. I got the Sealy i1000s for the queens and one of the kings, then some other one that was supposedly fancy with the adjustable base. Their sales rep was very easy to get along with and the first two deliveries were great. But on the third delivery, the guys that came out weren't prepared and they were too small to handle the mattress. They dragged it across the ground and ripped the whole plastic lining. They put four stains on the mattress and they didn't put out that little red mat or wear their booties in the house. I know all that because I went back and watched them on my cameras. Then they sat on the corner of the bed and realized that they stained the mattresses. Other than that, everything else was great and I've recommended Mattress Firm to other people.

We bought our previous mattress from Mattress Firm and we had a great experience. So, we went back to them and bought two extra mattresses for our other bedrooms. The in-store experience we had this time was awesome. The sales rep we dealt with was amazing and very nice. At the time, Mattress Firm had a deal where if you bought the mattress, you could get the adjustable bed frames for free, and we did that. But our beds would have headboards, so we had to buy the headboard attachments for them. We ordered our beds before we moved in to our new house and we told them that we wanna hold off delivery until we moved in. So, we got our orders towards the end of June.
However, they told us that the headboard attachments weren't there yet and that they'd be in the following week. But until now, we're still waiting for them. We have to keep calling them to ask if the attachments have arrived, if they're going to come in, and if they were just stringing us along and the attachments are really never going to come in. If so, we need to get rid of the adjustable mattress frames because we can’t have them if they're not gonna be able to be attached to their headboards. Mattress Firm could just bring us regular bed frames.
Our kids have headboards that we would like to attach and they’ve been leaning against the wall for a month and a half now. We paid for the headboard attachments and at this point, Mattress Firm keeps telling us that they would come the following week. So, my husband called yesterday and someone finally called him back last night and said that the attachments should be in by August 7th. Their delivery people have also been horrible. They were trying to be as fast as they could and their work was not good. They damaged a door in my house. But Mattress Firm reimbursed us for that, which was great.

I returned a memory foam mattress because my Chiropractors orders were soft-medium, and no memory foam because of the VOCs, toxins made from the foam. I didn’t use it. Then the salesman knew I wanted a medium, I never once mentioned firm. I decided on a medium mattress, then he said, "This one is better and the price is lower." I decided on that one, of course in a medium. I found out it’s firm after delivery. I had a Drs. order also for a medium for neck problems. They won’t call me or exchange it. Not even a courtesy call, from the Shiloh Store. I’m in tears, stuck with a firm. Very hard mattress that hasn’t been used.

Mattress Firm has decent prices. We purchased from them last year and we went back to purchase a luxury firm pillow top. They also gave us the option of a base that raises up and we got that. However, it was a mistake because they didn’t bother to tell us that we needed to purchase the bracket in order to connect it to the headboard. The person said that I got to buy other things which cost $89. They sell quite a few of those bases because if they didn’t, they wouldn’t be advertised all the time. The first question they should ask is, “What are you gonna connect it to?” or “Are you gonna connect it to a headboard?” since most people have headboards.
We couldn’t even put the room together for another week and a half because the brackets were not given to us or even told to us at the time of the purchase. My husband had to do it by himself and even if the guys weren’t allowed to connect the base, they could have had the headboard for him and they could have done something if the brackets had been delivered at the time of the mattress. The bed lies down and we bought Velcro strips to Velcro the mattress to the base. The experience hasn’t been as smooth as agreed.

I find the mattress game to be confusing. There are too many different choices and too much product and not enough time that you can lay on it to really make a decision. I've bought mattresses in the past and never had a problem. The new ones are supposed to be better, but I don’t find them to be better. Years ago, I've used Mattress Firm and their selection seemed good. Then, I bought a queen-size mattress and I hated it so much that I returned it after one day. It was too firm for me. I had a second one and I didn't like it that much either. It was still a little firm and my granddaughter won’t sleep in it. I was able to lay on the mattress but the one that I got was firmer when I got home. The people at Mattress Firm told me to sleep on it for 120 days. I bought it for the guest room so it would take me 10 years in the guest room.
Mattress Firm's sales rep was knowledgeable. I had the mattress delivered and the guys set it up. They put the frame and the mattress in for me. The adjustable frame came free with the mattress that I bought, but the fine print says that the mattress is not returnable and the frame as well. If the mattress will be returned then they will charge $500 for the free item. So, I was stuck and I can’t return the mattress even though it’s really not that great. I’d tell friends asking about Mattress Firm to read the fine print.

My daughter and I needed a new bed and she ordered from Mattress Firm for me. The delivery crew brought the mattresses in and I told them to put the old ones behind the dumpster but they didn’t do it. They left all the mattresses and spring out front. I’m in an apartment building and according to my maintenance man, the bed has to be wrapped in plastic before being thrown out so my maintenance man put a plastic on it and took it out. Then I had to pay $28 to my landlady. However, the bed is nice and new. I like it and I sleep well on it. It's just that the back is so low. I get stiff in my lower back. I'm thinking about getting a mattress pad in the future.

After 2 years without using the credit card Synchrony bank related to Mattress Firm I had the fantastic idea to use it buying a mattress, 500 dollars, 2 weeks later bank accused me of fraud. I called several times to a terrible customer service dept. showing personal proofs of identity and after take my case to the BBB for a complain and before to be blocked online and everywhere in their system. I went to my bank Bank of America, transfer money and send to hell this dysfunctional Synchrony Bank forever. I really encourage to check BBB and reviews before to opt for this bank, you will save a very bad experience.

I wanted to buy the Tulo mattress, which Mattress Firm makes and sells. It was my first time purchasing from Mattress Firm and I did it online. The site was really good. However, I received emails from them and the first couple of those all had the Tulo branding on them, but some of the other emails I received said Mattress Firm on them. That was a little inconsistency in branding, but the experience was fine. When I first ordered it, they only gave me the option for shipping, but then I chatted with somebody and they said that they could do the Red Carpet Delivery and they scheduled that for me. They took care of everything I needed.
The Red Carpet Delivery service was great and very quick. They set up the mattress and then told me it would take some time to get to its whole size. It was a good experience and they also wore their little red booties when they came in so they weren’t tracking anything in. I bought the mattress 3 weeks ago and it is a little bit too firm to be considered medium firm. So, I might call in and have them exchange it for the soft one and that seems a relatively straightforward, easy process.

A few weeks ago I decided to purchase a mattress totaling $385.40 online. I set the delivery date but, online it does not give you the option to specify a time that would be convenient for you, just a vague window/timeframe such as "from 2 to 10 pm". The issue that lies with that is that inside the address it was being delivered to, there's a freight elevator that stops service at 6 pm. On the day of delivery around 3 pm, I gave Mattress Firm a call to alert them of the potential problem, in which they told me they actually just started their deliveries and I was 10th on the list and it would be very unlikely they would make the time of 6 pm.
But, giving the benefit of the doubt, I waited until about 540 before I gave them a callback to reschedule for the next day. I asked the customer service rep was there any way they could ensure I would be able to receive my delivery before the cutoff time of 6 pm and they said sure, they can write a note but can't promise it would be delivered prior to that time of 6 pm. So, I inevitably canceled the order and refunded the purchase, in which I had to call back 3 days later because the customer service rep I initially spoke to never processed the refund...
Then I was told it would be refunded 7 to 10 business days, and on the 10th business day I gave a call back to inquire about it because it was still not in my account and was basically told "it was processed" and nothing else... now I have to dispute this charge with my bank. This has been a complete nightmare!!!! And the absolute WORST experience I've ever had buying or refunding ANYTHING. I STRONGLY recommend stay away from Mattress Firm, it's just not worth the headaches. They have horrible customer service and no one ever seems to know what's going on.

Website stated shipping is 5-7 days. I was pleased when a shipping confirmation email was sent the next day. Two days later my shipment arrived in immaculate condition. Would recommend.

On the day of my scheduled delivery I still had not received any confirmation, call center was helpless. Finally got in contact via their chat service to be acknowledged that they had received my order INCLUDING MY PAYMENT and were aware of my purchase but did not schedule to actually deliver it to me because of a "computer glitch". My payment was received but the item was never planned on being delivered? How does that seem fair? Extremely disappointed and would recommend ordering a mattress from another company that is more on top of their orders and doesn't take customers money without planning on delivering the actual product.

I got sleep apnea and I didn’t wanna get on that little machine. I needed a mattress where I could kinda sit up. My brother bought a Mattress Firm and suggested it to me. The sales rep David was really good. He answered all my questions and I would recommend him for a raise for doing a good job. The delivery guys were in and out pretty quickly. They took their time setting up and they were gone. At first, sleeping on the mattress was kinda hard but I’m starting to get used to it now. It took me a while to get the right adjustment I like but I took my time and figured it out. Last night I went to bed and it’s probably the best night sleep I had. With the salesman and everybody, I would recommend Mattress Firm.

I have SI joint issues. I was looking for a different bed since my old one was just a super cheap mattress that's 50 years old and the springs under it were older than me. I spoke to a friend who has back issues as well to get a feel of what works for him. I also searched online and in different places then I thought of stopping at Mattress Firm to see what's in there. The rep walked me around the showroom, let me try different mattresses and gave me a number. I told her I know that they are in business to make money, and at the same time, as a consumer I was looking to get the most bang for the buck. So, I gave her a number, she countered with another and we met a little in the middle. It was a good deal and I found something that would work for me at the time.
I had the bed delivered on a Monday and 24 hours later I got an automated call wanting me to take a survey. I haven't had the bed long enough to even know so push the survey three to four weeks out. But I’m happy with the bed. I like the adjustable frame and it fits right inside the frame of my bed that I have so I could see the headboard and the rails. I like the zero-gravity positioning too. I felt that was very beneficial to my back. And even when flat, I could lay on my side and my spine was better supported and more aligned.

I purchased a queen and king size mattress along with an adjustable base for both on July 11th over the phone. Mary ** seemed extremely willing to assist and was friendly. The time frame was crucial because I had guests arriving from England on July 20th. I was told that it was no problem and that everything except the king size adjustable frame would be delivered on July 15th. I called on the 14th to confirm and they said everything was set and that I’d hear from the delivery service sometime after 7 with a call and email to narrow the delivery to a two hour window. That call and email never came. I called again on the day of delivery to let them know that I still hadn’t received any information about the delivery time.
I was then informed that both bases were back ordered so they decided NOT to put anything on the truck for delivery. I was upset because I was told by more than one person it was being delivered but even worse no one bothered to notify me of the change. I had begun moving everything for the delivery that wasn’t even going to happen. The lady on the phone said she put an urgent notice to the manager and my sales person Mary ** to call me. A few hours later I hear from Mary **. She says she’s going to sort it out and call me back. She doesn’t call back but a manager calls and apologized and says he can have everything delivered on the 20th. I explain that my guests arrive that day at 6pm. He says not to worry he’ll absolutely have it delivered before 6pm. I agree based on his promise of delivery.
On the day or delivery July 20th I received an email and phone call with a delivery time between 5:15pm and 7:15pm. At this point I’m really angry. I call the number on the delivery email. I’m told nothing can be done. I tell the lady I have to cancel the order. She says ok she’ll notify the warehouse and have my sales person call me to complete the cancellation. At 7:05pm on July 20th the delivery guys show up as my guests and my family are leaving for dinner. I explain I canceled the delivery and order. They proceed to tell me I did not. Seriously! They took the items back to the warehouse. I still hadn’t received a call 4 days later so on July 24th I called again. I was told again I’d hear from my sales rep as she’s the one who has to cancel the order but I was assured I would not be charged anything since I never received the product.
Today is July 25th. Still no call. Mattress Firm has lied to me all throughout the process. They tell you what you want to hear but don’t deliver on their promises. This has been the most dishonest company I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I’ve never felt compelled to write a complaint like this because usually when situations arise businesses are quick to correct things. I am trying to make sure I don’t get charged a monthly payment but I can’t even get anyone to call me to cancel it.

I went with my brother to purchase a mattress at Mattress Firm about a week ago. I am so upset with the outcome. We were convinced from the salesman to purchase a a mattress that was pre-owned and he promised us that they sanitize the mattress and that it gets approved from the state. If that is a fact how come I have found a bed bug? I'm disgusted. There is also a hole in the mattress. Worst money ever spent.

There was a good deal being offered at Mattress Firm and a family member referred them. The sales representative explained and was very clear of the process regarding financing and taking care of the mattress. She was very detailed and she took time. I bought a king size bed and had it delivered. They called before to let me know when they would get here so that was very convenient. Then the bed was all set up and they did a great job. I was taken care of from the moment that I walked in the store to my bed getting here. So I was very pleased with the company. I received efficient and great customer service. Plus the mattress is very comfortable.

When I went into the store, the agent was very nice, helpful and he walked wherever we walked. He answered all our questions and we got to test out everything. I’ve done two transactions with Mattress Firm. Last year, I purchased a California king mattress and then this year, I purchased a twin mattress. The California king bed was an adjustable bed and they had issues with attaching that to my headboard. They had to come back, but it’s fine. However, last year when I was looking to purchase a mattress, I was gonna spend about $6,000. And looking back on it, I wish I had gone through Mattress Mack because he has this promotion where he said that if the Astros won, you get a free mattress. And he’s doing the same thing again this year. You spend over a certain amount and he’d say when you get the free mattress. Mattress Firm could do some sort of marketing and promotion to be a step above to attract more consumers.

I purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm in June of 2016. It was always uncomfortable sleeping on the mattress but I thought it could be because I was pregnant at the time and that was the reason for my uncomfortableness. But after having my baby, I noticed that the bed was still uncomfortable. I started having back pains. Therefore, I started sleeping on my couch. Sad to say, but my couch is way more comfortable than this mattress. Then I realized, why am I sleeping on a couch, when I have a mattress that I paid $600 for??
So I decided to put in a warranty claim in March of this year. That claim was denied. This mattress is so uncomfortable and it is just getting worse over time. I thought that it was just me and my bad luck for going to Mattress Firm. But finding this review page made me see that I was not crazy and that Mattress Firm did sell me a bad mattress. I came here looking for the number for the corporate office. I am going to fight this until I get a better mattress. SMH.

I purchased a Beautyrest mattress in 2017 and within a year of usage the mattress is sagging. After a few hours of laying on it, the center dips downward. It's caused me to have back pains/soreness because it doesn't provide enough support. I filed a warranty claim complete with pictures and was rejected. Mattress Firm has given me the option of getting an independent review for $39 but I plan to retain legal representation and recoup some of the money I have spent on physical therapy.
I should not have this issue with a mattress that is 1 year old. The customer service is not very good and if you are purchasing a product from Mattress Firm, my advice? Don't. There are other companies with better customer care. After reading some of the complaints on this website, I wish I would have done research on this company.

I thought it was a good mattress, but I was sadly mistaken -- it wasn’t. I didn’t like Mattress Firm because we had it on layaway and they gave it away. I spoke with somebody not until I've had it almost done and paid for. I got the product because I went up there and told that I was canceling the whole order because I was tired of the way they were treating me. I told them I was done. The product is fine, but I don't like the way they treat customers. Also, they owed me money back, which I finally got back, but they put it on a credit card that did not exist anymore. So, I had to go to my credit card company and get that figured out. I ain’t recommending them to anybody.

Bought a Purple 2 mattress from them and had it delivered to my house with frame and other stuff costing me a little over 2 grand. We called them 6 days later to tell them we wanted to exchange mattress because it was too firm and was causing me pain in the center of my back. I am a side sleeper so needed a softer mattress. We were told we had to wait at least 30 days for them to exchange it out. Me and my wife slept on the mattress for the 30 days and then went in to request a softer bed. A week later they show up with the bed we wanted but guess what. Because there is a small tear and a very light smudge mark on the mattress, they won't take it back. Of course none of this was ever mentioned at any time during the buying process and this is our 3rd bed from them and it was never brought up.
It's an easy return for them and I am sure manufacturer would take it back with the quantity of beds they buy but no. They did not even want to discuss it. I get that things like this happen, but I would of appreciated a little more clarity about this and would of liked them to change it out the first week. I have been a faithful customer but no more. When customer service is a foreign word to a company I won't shop there no more and I will be sure to share my misfortune. Oh and on a side note the person we purchased mattress from at the store had even quit already so probably not a great place to work at either. Very Bad customer service.

I bought from Sleep EZ before and Mattress Firm's prices are generally better than Raymour & Flanigan. I bought a generic mattress from them. It’s a plush one and it’s nice. I was sold a floor model that was on sale. The sales rep was very nice. He seemed very knowledgeable and was willing to help at any time. He seemed to have gone out of his way to try and help me with getting the mattress in the beginning. It was delivered when they said it was gonna be and the delivery guys were very respectful. They put booties on and they were very pleasant. They wrapped up the old mattress and took it away, same with the box spring. I was happy with them.
But the problem was I got a split box spring and because it’s such a plush mattress, I was getting a lump in the middle. It was very uncomfortable and I kind of let it go. I’m thinking that it’s gotta be me. But I lifted the mattress up and I noticed that it was a double box spring. I was like, “That’s probably what’s doing it.” I had to spend 200 bucks for a new box spring and I wasn’t happy about that. I felt like the rep should have known that you shouldn’t use a split box spring with a plush mattress. I was hoping they would just switch out the box spring but they didn’t.

Mattress developed stains around stitching at various places on the mattress. No liquids were spilled on it. Stains appeared from the time we received mattress until we made it to our destination and it was transported while still in plastic. They accused us of not protecting it with a mattress protector and spilling something on it. Not sure how either could be accomplished while it was still in plastic??

Today I had a 415-615 delivery window. At about 510 I received a call saying that the delivery drivers were trying to reach me and he was contacting me to make sure my info was correct. I had my phone on and I saw I had a missed call but my phone didn't ring. I was then told they were going to make the delivery and will be calling me back to get instructions on delivering to my apartment complex at any moment. So, I waited phone in hand and no one called. One hour later I called the customer service rep back to see what's going on because I never heard back. He asked did the driver at least leave a message and I stated they did not. He said he will see what happened and call back.
He called about 5 minutes later to tell me the delivery driver has turned in the truck because he couldn't reach me, which is a lie because I was literally staring at my phone, and is done today and the earliest I will be able to get my beds will be the day after tomorrow! I am currently 8 months pregnant in a new apartment with NO money to spare WITH NOTHING TO SLEEP ON! At this point I'm pissed because I'm technically still in my delivery window and they are already gone! AND I was rudely told they only have to call me one time. EXCUSE ME?!? Anything can happen to have a missed call and that is absolutely ridiculous! I feel they have been blatantly disrespectful and put in zero effort to deliver my merchandise! I would give zero stars if I could! This experience will make me strongly reconsider using Mattress Firm or recommending them even again.

I purchased a $1,049.00 Contour Elite Queen Mattress (floor model) and $550.00 Ergo Plus Adjustable Base (floor model) and some smaller items on March 24, 2017 in Greensboro, NC. I asked that the mattress & base delivery take place in 30 days. Salesperson assured me that would be done. A few days later when I was out of town, I receive a call that delivery people were on their way. I could not accept delivery. Called salesperson, who said that he would have my items put into storage on "will call" for a year. Had work done on house. Contacted Mattress Firm about delivery and was told that the items I had purchased had been resold.
Of course, the salesman was no longer working there. I asked for a refund, was told they would process it and it should take up to 7 days. No refund. I called again on April 28, 2018. The salesman told me that it may take longer to process the refund and to keep checking my credit card statements. I just called the store again, 3 months later and was told that they refunded the money to my credit card the exact same day (April 28, 2018) that I called. HOWEVER, there has been no refund documented on my credit card statements from Mattress Firm in the month of April, May, June or July. Now, nobody seems to know what's going on. I encourage everyone not buy anything from Mattress Firm.

My wife and I went to 5 stores while shopping and we loved 2 mattresses at Sears. But we wanted to check Mattress Firm out one more time. Well we went there and wasn’t a 100% sold on the prices. We were about to leave and the manager asked why and I was totally honest with him. He said he never loses a sale to them. So we talked and tried out a few more mattresses. We fell in love with a plush pillow top one. We ordered it and got the adjustable base as well and the mattress protector. We got it on a Friday afternoon and that night we slept maybe 30 mins. It was the worst and felt like sleeping on boards.
I called the store at 10am when they opened and the manager said that’s normal and you need to give it some time for at least 30 days. I HATE this mattress and want something different. There is no way this is remotely the same mattress as the one in store. There is not a single plush thing about this mattress and we can actually feel the springs in our backs. Somebody please help us!

I'm beyond irritated and disappointed with them. Long story short, first delivery took forever after it kept saying it would be here on certain days, then got the wrong mattress, then new mattress was not delivered on PROMISED day, decided to just do a refund and now after being told the refund would be back in my account on a said date, surprise, surprise... Guess what... It not there. Been trying to fix this for almost a month now. All I wanted was a new mattress!! Really sad because we were looking forward to getting our mattress but after everything went wrong we decided it was just not meant to be. That being said, I'm just going to do what I was going to do and save up and get the Purple mattress. At this point I just want our money and never go through them again.

I needed a mattress and Mattress Firm was the only mattress place I knew of. I bought the Sealy Posturepedic firm mattress and I love it. And the price is reasonable. I have a bad back and it helps me and I’m happy going to bed at night. Mattress Firm's sales rep was very helpful. I looked at a few different mattresses and decided on the one that I purchased, and it was here in a couple of days. The delivery was on time and the guys were in and out of here in 10 minutes. My experience with Mattress Firm was great and I would tell my friends to give them a shot.

I bought an 8” Cool Gel mattress from these clowns and it was nothing but a disappointment. First the mattress was delivered by FedEx in a tube like a rug, which I had never seen. I opened the box, pulled out the plastic covered roll and started to open it. At some point the blade I had no interest in needing to use in the first place grazed the fabric cover on the mattress. The result was a small tear that didn’t go all the way through the cover and not a mark on the mattress. I called and ordered a more expensive mattress and arranged to have the box spring and original mattress removed.
When the people came to pick it up they called in the tear as a whole and refused the whole thing leaving the mattress sitting in the hallway. So for a completely superficial mark I’m stuck with a complete POS mattress. This is criminal at worst and just the worst customer service in the business at best. There are tons of mattress places online now so I would completely recommend going with one of them. I know I will be and I’ll be telling every person I know that if they want a bunch of rip off artists then call 1800Mattress and leave the last s off for stealing, because that’s what they do!

I was told the showroom floor mattress was one of the higher quality mattresses in the store as the lesser quality was in the back left corner of the store. In addition instead of waiting two months for a base I decided to pay additional to get one in five days with a mattress. I believe I was conned on this. Spending $900 no, my 125# daughter has slept on the mattress four nights and it falls to the base. The material is very poor. I contact customer support with my order number and they told me it was clearance I could not return.
The salesman told me I had thirty days. It was July 4th sales the windows had ads. The back of receipt says I have to pay $79.99 to return. My receipt shows "mattress full outlet" so customer service calls that clearance and says I cannot return. Another lie was sales said the base was lighter than mattress. Get it home could not lift the base had to call son-in-law over to help lift the base with my husband because it was too heavy. One lie after another. Customer service said store manager would contact me. Have not heard anything.

I went into Mattress Firm to look for a new bed. There were many of options to choose from and they explained to me the different kinds of mattresses. After making the final decision with their help, I went with a floor model. It was over $1,000 but I didn't mind because I was told I had up to 4 months and if I had any problems with it I could return the bed and get a different one. About 2 weeks later my back had been hurting so bad every night I decided to call them and let them know I needed something softer. They then informed me that because it was a floor model it could not be exchanged. Totally different than what they told me when I was purchasing it. About 3-4 months later I am stuck hurting every single night and down over $1000.00.

I purchased a queen sized Wellington Beautyrest Black Hybrid Plus on 7/7/18. It was delivered on 7/8/18. The only reason I purchased a more expensive bed was because of the amazing cooling feature. This bed does not feel the same as it did in the store. It is extremely hot and it sucks me into it. I did get a large discount, but Because it was a floor model. I have not been able to get any help exchanging it. The salesperson said he could only maybe get it approved if I would buy another bed that was at least $1000 more than the one I purchased.??? All I want is a bed that I can sleep on, and This does not feel like the bed I tried in the store! The store logo says 100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back, I am not 100% satisfied.

We purchased a H&R Copperleaf Luxury Firm Prime Mattress at Mattress Firm Clearance Center in Mesquite, TX on July 31, 2017. Our order #** and Customer #**. SKU #00088532, $809.71, including delivery cost of $79.99. Two or three months ago my husband & I started complaining that our backs are really sore in the mornings. Our box springs are new as well. We filed a complaint claim with Mattress Firm and went through the process of taking photos according to their specifications and we were told, based on their review of the photos that the mattress wasn't sagging, it was body indentations.
The mattress has become so uncomfortable that I sleep with a pillow under me at night and my husband bought a firming board that we placed between the mattress & the box-spring, from Home Depot to assist in providing us both more back comfort & support. It helps a little, but it is still not very comfortable to our backs. We have been unable to sleep in on the weekends, because of the back discomfort from the mattress. We turned the mattress around & it hasn't helped either. We may as well have keep our old mattress, because the new mattress is just as uncomfortable. I have reached out to Mattress Firm customer service and to no avail. I just get a prompts, but I have been unable to speak to anyone.
The website is not customer friendly and it very hard to get in touch with a live person via telephone. The mattress is not a year old and we are both very unhappy & dissatisfied with our purchase. We have not gotten a good night of peaceful rest sleep in over three months. I almost hate going to bed, because my back is so sore in the mornings. We would like someone to contact us regarding our concern. We are at the point where we are considering filing a complaint with the BBB or filing a complaint with our credit card company to get this issue addressed & resolved. I am sending my second defective mattress back tomorrow at my expense. Plus, I have to pay for the base as it is not refundable. This experience has been a nightmare both financially and environmentally due to the excessive off gassing of the second mattress. I do not recommend this company. They hold to a strict return policy and a accept no responsibility for defective products.

Mattress Firm South Natomas Sacramento CA - Bought and paid for a complete queen size mattress and box spring. I confirmed this with salesman that this was both a mattress and box spring. Also asked if I would get a new one and not the floor model. Delivery only brought mattress and said I did not order a box spring. It was the floor model also. Said no refunds. Getting terrible runaround while store tries to contact corporate office. Said would get back to me, and haven't. Salesperson either incompetent or lied to me. Would give no stars if possible. What was told and what on invoice not the same. Was given invoice after I paid with credit card. Was told verbally would get both mattress and box spring. I confirmed that this was not the floor model.
Salespeople will say anything to sell a product. Then you have to deal with manager and a corporation you cannot access. No real customer service. Implied that I was wrong and not the way I was presented with product and how the salesperson processed my order. Trying to get money back if they cannot resolve. Probably stuck with no help and now have no mattress, frame or box spring. But I do have a $500 credit card bill that they have already received payment on. Ripoff.

My husband and I went to Mattress Firm and was looking for a new bed. Our bed was 16 years old. We tried out some beds and was told the rep that we wanted to look at bed $1,000 tops. He said he could get us a really good deal on a clearance mattress. He explained that some have been floor models, most never been used etc... He looked up what he could get, and had us try a few different ones. There were 2 that we liked and he thought he could get but couldn’t. He then showed us one he said he could get us for $650. We agreed that okay we like it. Tuesday we received the mattress and that night was horrible. The bed does not feel like the one at the store.
I called and was told they would call me back. So the next day I call and find out the sales guy is on vacation. The lady I spoke to looked into our receipt and said “you bought a clearance item and there is no exchanges." They cannot do anything for me. She also said that customers complain all the time about the bed feeling different than the floor model. That I need to give it 30 days! I really believe this may not even be the bed I liked! I feel he just got me something he could sell right then and knew there would be nothing I could do. My old bed feels better than this. I’m really disgusted with MATTRESS FIRM AND WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN.

Under Dr.'s orders my daughter and son-in-law bought a king size split mattress, because of a degenerative neurological condition, he must sleep sitting up. Upon delivery, they discovered a dead bed bug on their box spring. The bugs treated and gone over a year ago, but the delivery person threw their old king size mattress on their front lawn and left without leaving the new mattress. They left a disabled man with no bed and his mattress on the lawn to be ruined! It was taken from the second floor and there is no way he can get it back up the stairs. If this is a stipulation of delivery, they should have been notified at purchase to have inspection proof available. The mattress should have been checked while in the house and never removed! Absolutely cruel to do to a disabled person.

This mattress and box springs is barely 2 years old I've been trying to get a warranty claim satisfied since May 2nd. I've been given excuse after excuse, such as "there's not enough frame support", my frame is 4 2x4's turned on edge screwed into a solid wood Broyhill frame. Am I to believe that these mattresses are so poorly constructed that's not sufficient? Then I've told that my slats don't have enough center support, so I put two bricks under them... Again I'm told this is insufficient support. So I asked the rep what I needed, and she say's legs under the 2 x 4's, WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT THE BRICKS ARE!!! The mattress clearly has a nearly 2" dip in it, and is twisting and bowing.
I'm on the phone now to talk with a supervisor and to get the manufacturers guidelines for what is sufficient support. I believe that they are giving me the runaround in the hopes I'll become frustrated and give up. As a first time customer of Mattress Firm, I'm fairly certain that this experience will show me that I should not give them any of my business or the business of my families and friends. And the customer service agent I have is clearly reading from a script and cannot produce an original thought or solution. As of this moment I've been on the phone with them for 40 minutes. One of the poorest examples of customer service I've ever seen.

Around December 9th 2016 I went to Mattress Firm just to look. I am disabled and have a lot of medical issues. I was only 42 at the time. Been disabled for quite a while. I thought I just take a look at their adjustable bases. The salesman heard my story of my parents both being very very sick and not going to be cured and he acted like he was doing me something very nice by giving me this base at such an incredible price but when I got it delivered I realize that the he had lied to me about everything. This was not a new base. This was a floor model and not only that it was discontinued there is no warranty or anything and I was so upset the money they got for me could have done so much more than what they sold me. They made so much money off that money I paid them and they didn't care when I call them the next day because they delivered it at night about to 8 p.m.
If you don't believe me look up Mattress Firm and see how many federal lawsuits are against them and why they're buying up so many stores and lots. There are reasons for this and is not the simple answer of wanting many stores is buying up land and criminal activities from what I've seen and been told. So please don't buy for Mattress Firm. You will regret it and if you don't you will end up regretting it later. It may end up costing you money and if you're somebody like me it may end up costing you money you don't have. It's not only cruel to take money from people and lie to them but it's really cool to do it to people who don't have the money to begin with that they needed something to try to help them with their medical issues.
I hope you guys can sleep at night knowing what you've done just so many people and I hope that the feds take you down and all your stores end up going away. Honestly never been treated so badly thinking somebody was doing me such a good honest thing. It was too good to be true and I fell for it. You lied. You cheated and you didn't care. What you did karma will come back around. I promise you that and it may be bad for business. I still hurt just as much and this is not done anything for me compared to other very reputable mattress companies. I will not name names but I'm sure some of you might figure it out but please don't shop there. You may soon regret it. Thank you.

When I purchased this mattress the saleswoman Tania ** She assured me that because I had a bad back if I need to return/exchange my mattress it would be an easy process. I have emailed/called her countless times with zero response. I called the return line and they sent her an internal email and still no return. My experience so far is horrible. I have a brand new mattress that I can’t even sleep on. I feel that their return policy is a bunch of nonsense because their salespeople just want to keep their commissions.

On or about June 30 I was online and I apply for financing at Mattress Firm. They use a company in which I have already done business with so I felt comfortable getting a mattress with them. I didn’t pick one the first night but the next morning I got a call from one of the representatives and he’s telling me all the great things you do for me and how he can take my order over the phone so I can place an order for a king size bed. It came with a free adjustable base. They use a company in which I have already done business with so I felt comfortable getting a mattress with them. I have lower back problems so I actually need a base that lifts top and bottom. So on my first night of sleeping on it the very next morning I called and I inquired about an upgrade or something that would help me out with that uncomfortable feeling of the bed and that’s when I was informed that they do not refund or exchange or take back the adjustable base. Also you cannot upgrade from your adjustable base to pay more money. To get them better place you would just have to buy for the cash out for $1500. That’s when I informed the associate over the phone that I had Recently purchased a king size mattress and adjustable during the last promotion when they were giving away the free and at the time the salesperson and find me that it would only be a top and if I wanted to upgrade he did and he subtracted the $699 and only charge me for the rest out of the 1500 which I gladly pay them.
So she is over the phone with used to do that so I proceeded to want to cancel my order. That’s what I was told. It will be charged. They will be charging me $329 for something called The red carpet treatment. $250 restocking which should’ve been 10% of my order and $79 delivery fee. So I called the local store and was told that if the salesperson never mentioned to me or wrote it on my receipt that it was nonrefundable then that’s not my fault that was his miscommunication never to say. I haven’t received a receipt from this company as of yet for this order so I called back to the one 800 number or 877 whichever it is and was told by that salesperson that it didn’t matter if I wasn’t told. It said this on the website and it on me that I didn’t read it before purchasing the mattress.
To say the company has the worst customer service that I have ever had to deal with is a understatement and I personally work in sales and would never treat a customer the way I have been treated with this purchase and will not do business with Mattress Firm and anyone I know or work who are looking for a mattress I will tell them I was treated and not to buy with this company.

I went into a store in Madison WI. Purchased a mattress and adjustable base. We waited 4 days for this to be delivered, confirmed delivery the night before. Great. Woke the next morning. Took off work for delivery. 11 o'clock came. Received a call on phone saying that delivery will not occur due to truck issues. That's fine. We understand that things happen. Was asked if the next day would work. We told the lady yes as long as it's after 4 because we have to work.
They called back and informed us that they could not deliver after 4 that we would have to take another day off. Every time I take a day off work it's almost 300 dollars I'm missing. This is the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen. Ok they said they would refund the delivery charges but due to having to take off work we can't even have the things we purchased delivered. Not to mention getting the space ready where the new bed is going to be placed. I guess large firms can really do what they want and step on the little guy.
Updated on 07/11/2018: So I posted a review a couple days ago in which a rep from company named Adam contacted me. He said that he wanted to make all of this right and get my mattress and base delivered to me and get this issue resolved. He looked into the matter came back and pretty much said that even though they have delivery available Friday we would have to wait until Sunday because they sold our mattress to someone else. Oh yeah. He did offer to return our delivery charge and refund the cost of a mattress cover. LMBO. How can you sell something that someone has already purchased? And the delivery mess up was to no fault of ours. The absolute worst service ever.

We purchased a brand new mattress and box spring from the store on Christopher Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia. We had high expectations and the mattress was comfortable. However, after about a month I started to get bites. We had no idea what these were until months later when the infestation has grown and we saw the bed bugs as we have never experienced it before. The mattress and box spring was totally infested. We live in a newly renovated house and we are very clean. Nowhere else in the house is contaminated with them so the mattress/box spring are clearly the source. We spoke to a sales rep at the store who basically told us that the bed bugs couldn’t have come from them and that it was not their responsibility.
However, we have never experienced this before and the fact that the infestation started soon after the mattress/box spring arrived does seem like too much of a coincidence. After spending close to $1,000 on a mattress and now faced with thousands more on treating our house we are appalled. Avoid purchasing from this firm at all costs as they clearly don’t listen to their customers and you could end up thousands out of pocket like us.

This review is about the delivery and customer service. I ordered a full sized bed and box spring, and the delivery guys brought a queen sized mattress and a full sized box spring. At the time of delivery, no one gave us a number to call or tried to fix the situation. I found the number on their auto-emails, which said the delivery was successful. (It was not.)
Over the past two days, it has taken three calls to two different customer service reps, and I still do not have the right mattress, and they can't tell me when it will arrive. I even had a chat with their corporate customer service, and they said one of the customer service reps would call to arrange a new delivery. They have not. They completely washed their hands off it.
Vincent and Ben -- the customer service reps -- were rude and condescending and they couldn't seem to understand why I was upset. In fact, they tried to gaslight me and made it seem like I caused the problem, and that I had no right to be aggravated. Ben even said to me, "When you speak people listen, when you yell, no one does," which is pretty unprofessional and insensitive. He couldn't even tell me who I would hear from about next steps. He literally could not have cared less and only wanted to get off the phone.
I emailed in photos of the mattress the day of the issue, which were never acknowledged. I had to call back just to get the process of replacing the mattress started, and they still can't tell me when my correct mattress will arrive. Basically, Mattress Firm took my money and did not follow through on the service they provide. Avoid them. I can't sleep in my new apartment because I have no bed.

I buy a mattress on this Monday through website. The Mattress Firm website stated that they can make next day delivery. I don’t have time on Tuesday so I choose Wednesday for delivery. Next day I order Mattress Firm shoot me a email stated that they have my order and they will make it on Wednesday delivery between 9 to 4 pm. I expect to get my bed on schedule so I already broke my old bed into piece for recycle and waiting for the new mattress. I am waiting from 9 am to 3 pm. Mattress Firm didn’t shoot me any email for delivery status so I call the rep...
What they said is because there is one part missing so they have to delay my delivery to 7/6. I am very very mad... I wanna ask is Mattress Firm a Chinese company? Their website stated how the best their delivery service are...on the other hand Mattress Firm rep doesn’t have any responsibility to their customers. Now I have to find out my old mattress and wait for my new mattress coming on 4 days after I order... very ridiculous.

I bought a mattress a few days ago online via chat, I am disabled and unable to visit a showroom without assistance. The chat specialist asked me a few questions and I informed her of my mattress needs as well as my health issues, she suggested a medium Tulo mattress at $900 or so. She threw in free pillows as well. The mattress is delivered a few days later and is the most uncomfortable bed, it feels better sleeping on the floor. This bed is so hard. The mattress is one of those bed in a box things, it didn't even expand right inside the knit cover. Even the pillows ducked, the pillows are more suitable for children rather than two adults on a king size bed. I tried calling customer service to do an exchange, you have to go through a maze of prompts before you even get connected.
I finally get to speak to someone and am informed I have to pay a fee to exchange the mattress and that I am not able to just return the mattress because I will be charged $200 for my (free) pillows. Despite that she was the only helpful person I got to talk to. I picked out a new mattress because at this point I'm sleeping on my old mattress on the floor, the rep told me she made the notations and now it's up to sales to write the order up and I should receive a call the next day. It's been 3 days with no call. She even notified sales again the next day and nothing. Not to mention there was a promotion for a free adjustable bed that I wasn't offered as well as Tulo running a sale now just a few days later for a king size bed under $500.
I'm upset I paid double that and all I got was a bed basically here for decoration at this point and pillows that can't be used as well. Beware of the sleep guarantee as well, they advertised you can only use the guarantee for 3 beds, after that you can't exchange again. That seemed reasonable, but during my conversation to start the exchange process I was told it's only 1 mattress you can exchange. There's a few great employees but for the most part this experience, this company, and this product has been a nightmare.

I got a bed from Mattress Firm and they gave me a pillow for free. I also paid for a mattress padding as well. The rep who worked with me was awesome, helpful, and patient. He asked me what I liked, then he had three beds, which were the kind of beds I liked. And he asked me which one I liked out of one of those. He talked to me, asked different questions, and then he helped me figure it out. And then I kept going back saying, "I want to lay on this bed. Can I go back to that bed? Can I go back to this bed?" He said, "Take your time". The delivery was also good. They told me they were going to deliver it on one day, then they came the next day. The date of delivery was wrong, but, other than that, it was no problem. I got it and I'm happy. My bed is comfortable. The salesman was great. Just do better on the delivery.

I went to Mattress Firm on Memorial Day for a bed and they end up selling me the bed frame too, which is very annoying. The mattress is hot and very tall which is not safe for me for I’m in a wheelchair and is very hard for me to get on it. First of all on delivery day, the delivery people did not bring the entire frame only 1/2 so they had to go and come back like three days after and that’s because I went to the store and complained however this girl told me she could not do anything about it but reschedule, I ended up with no bed for 3 day, and the delivery day came.
This time these people scratched my floors with the bed frame. I had to go back to the store and once again complained about this issues together with the mattress been so hot and not I spoke with the assistant manager. Supposed he fix the issue and was supposed to send a replacement the next day however the delivery people again told me it was the wrong size mattress and they couldn’t take the frame because it had dust and crumbs. I had to go back to the store and this same assistant manager told me he was going to fix the problem! Nope I have not heard from no one is the worst customer service ever. Not going back there never AGAIN!

We live in Orem and we decided to check the mattresses. We went to Sam's Club and Costco but did not find the one that we want. When we went to Mattress Firm, we found a mattress we liked. While many people like a softer mattress, we like harder ones. We like to sleep on a hard floor so we bought the hardest mattress and one pillow. It was a good experience and we liked their service. Their reps were friendly, explained about the mattress and answered our questions. Plus, they have a bigger selection. I would recommend going to the Mattress Firm in Orem because they have all the options you need.

I just received a second receipt for products I did not order. Someone at Mattress Firm in MA is using my name for purchases. I'm receiving receipts to my personal email address. I called the store the first time this happened and was blown off. I do not even live in the state where these purchases were made. I purchased the Beauty Rest Recharge Signature Select eleven months ago from a local Mattress Firm after weeks of testing out beds in multiple different stores. I spent a good hour and a half in the store and decided on this bed. The salesman was convinced this was perfect for me and assured me the spring type of bed was the best way to go. The bed I wanted was on the floor model of an adjustable bed frame, which also happened to be the last one in stock. The salesman told me he would throw it in for "free" for me if I bought the bed on top of it that I was testing. I agreed and paid a total of $750.00 for it all. Fast forward to the delivery of everything, the movers were late, and the queen size adjustable bed frame did not fit up either sets of stairs in my home. They had to take photos and prove that it did not fit so they could get 2 twin bases for me instead.
I was not able to use my new bed for about a week until they delivered the new bases. I put the bed down and it had this squeak to it. I thought maybe just because it is new and fresh out of a package. The 120 day return/money back period comes and goes and all is good with the bed, just a little squeaking now and then. About 5 months pass and I get the flu and end up bedridden for about a week. I felt the bed starting to sink in the spots I was primarily laying in. Now keep in mind I wasn't in bed 24/7, I had to get up, use the bathroom and walk around but for the good part of the week, I was laying in bed. In the weeks following, I realized the sink was permanent.
The squeaking had also progressively gotten worse, making it almost impossible to sit down, stand up or roll over without a noise coming from the bed. I have turned and rotated it multiple times and at this point, when you are to lie on one side, you sink into the mattress and not in a positive way. This leaves me so frustrated, due to the fact that you cannot capture this in a picture like I need to in order to file a warranty claim. You also do not have the option to record the sounds it makes in the claim. This is a disgrace to a bed, and an extreme waste of money. I see on the mattress firm website that if I was to buy the same EXACT bed I currently own, it costs $599 with a free adjustable base. This whole situation fills me with such abhorrence.

The Black Hybrid bed we got for $3,500 from Mattress Firm had this gel type stuff in them. When it was delivered, it was very hot here in St. Louis, Missouri and the mattress had a lump in it. The delivery people said it would go away but after a week, it had not, so I called Mattress Firm and they said that they would send another mattress out. It’s the way they deliver them on the truck because the next mattress they sent out was way worse than what we had. They cancelled that one and then they set up another appointment for the next one to come out. It wasn’t a hard lump. If you sat on it, you would never know it’s there because it would go right down when pushed. Then the lump started to go away, so I called them about it.
When I bought a mattress, I could’ve gotten the adjustable feature for free, but I just wanted the box spring. Then the people that delivered the mattress told me that getting the box spring was the best thing I could do. Now it makes sense because if you get an adjustable bed and you move that mattress, it’s going to put the same effect when I first got the mattress. But other than that, I had no problems. Their representatives were very informative, not pushy, and they told me everything I needed to know. They were more than happy to help me. I haven’t had the bed for 120 days, but it’s fantastic. It’s a really nice bed and whenever I need another one, I'll be going back to Mattress Firm.

With my wife and I getting older, we needed to have one of those beds where the head and the feet went up. The Mattress Firm rep knew her business and she showed us the color coding on the firmness so we could operate on it and try everything out. She also showed us the bottom to the top of the line and let us pick what we wanted. The bed was delivered and when I came back from two weeks of work, it was all set up and done. My wife said it didn't take them any time at all to hook it up. And I'm sleeping a little better since using the new bed.

After buying from Mattress Firm I went back and told them within the 120 days that I wasn’t pleased. The manager told me it hadn’t been long enough for me to know if I liked it or not. So I left and returned a few weeks later. Told them I did not like this mattress because it hurts my back. I ask for the firmest bed and this is what they sold me. It is so soft I actually turn the bed around every two to three weeks so I don’t sleep on the same side!! So after two managers the third time I went back they said if I wanted to contact the number on the tag they could check on it. They would fix it only if there is a significant sag in it. There is not. So I’m stuck with a product that I do not like. Also still paying for this one!!! As soon as I can afford another mattress I will buy one but never from mattress firm. Not happy!!!

My experience with Mattress Firm has been great. I walked in there and said, “I don’t want something nice. I want the cheapest one you got.” I was in there for about 30 minutes and the sales guy was awesome. Everything was good with the delivery too. They called immediately, gave me a good window, and delivered right on time. The mattress I have is great. I sleep like a baby on it.

My fiancee and I needed a new mattress and Mattress Firm had a Memorial Day sale then. Their rep was very helpful and professional. He answered all the questions that we had. We told him what we were looking for and he was able to make suggestions to help us find the mattress that we liked since my fiancé and I are particular on what we're sleeping on. The price was very good too. The mattress came out of the warehouse in pristine order. We picked it up ourselves and it was wrapped up. There weren't any tears, bends or cracks in the packaging. Everything was clean and good. So far, I like the mattress. It's comfortable and doesn't feel like I'm sleeping on a rock. It does the trick and overall, it's been a good experience with them.

The Mattress Firm salesman was extremely nice and helpful. And so we decided to go ahead and make the purchase from him. We got the Beautyrest mattress and then, that came with the free platform thing that moves the head up and down. And then, we ended up getting a mattress protector, the little like sheet thing that goes over it, and we got two of the Impulse pillows and sheets. He wasn’t pushy, too. And he let us have lots of time to discuss things among ourselves but right when we came in, he had us try these three different mattress styles and then explained how the rest of them are color-coordinated to the soft, the hard, or the medium. And then, he was able to answer all the different questions about the different brands as well as the different pillow padding and the difference in those. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the products. He got us for a lot that day. And I spent a lot of money, but I don’t feel I was sold things I don’t need.
The delivery was extremely surprising. We had bought the items on a Saturday and they delivered them on Monday. And they came within the time that they called and gave us a two-hour window. It was an automated message and then, I got another automated message telling me that they were 15 minutes away and then, they came right within that window. They brought our purchase in and they had a little red net and they also had little booties. And I told them they didn’t have to keep wearing the booties to bring it up because I was worried they would slip on the stairs because we have wood stairs. But they brought it in, set it all up and they plugged it in and made sure the little rising platform thing works and showed me how to work it. They were really fast and really nice. It was overall a really great experience.
My only concern was the sheets but the salesman explained that the sheets will be longer when they'll come. The tracking mechanism was only for the mattress, and there wasn’t a way to track when the sheets would come. I would have liked to have a way to track the sheet part of it. Other than that, I’m recommending Mattress Firm to people.

My experience with Mattress Firm was positive and when there was a problem, they handled it. I initially went to an extremely nice sales rep in Brooklyn. We tried out the mattresses and we made a big order of three mattresses. The rep was willing to work with me to get a good deal, considering the amount we were spending, and he was able to finance it effectively. The delivery team was fine, but there was a slight mess-up in the size of one of the mattresses. But they came again and took care of it, and they were able to fix it, so the experience was good overall.

Bedbugs and lack of proper customer service availability. As for the retail store employees, I have no complaints. They all have been super nice, but not necessarily very knowledgeable regarding my complaint. I have NEVER taken the time to write a review for anything, but this “MUST” be put out there. I took advantage of Mattress Firm's satisfaction guarantee. Unhappy with the comfort level of my new mattress, I had my new mattress exchanged for a firmer one. The store employee who took care of the exchange made a comment stating to make sure the 2nd mattress delivered was wrapped in plastic with the manufacturer’s tag in place.
He made a statement about another customer getting bedbugs when she swapped her mattresses. I thought what a strange thing to say. A “NEW” mattress and bedbugs in the same sentence does not sound very good or make any sense. I immediately thought that she must have already a bedbug problem. I think to myself that bedbugs won’t happen to me and “Surely” Mattress Firm doesn’t have a problem with this? I was wrong.
Approximately 3 months after my 2nd mattress was delivered (in plastic and tagged) I started noticing bites on my belly. One night I woke up to something crawling on me, and with only ambient lighting, thought it was a tick. I automatically assumed one of my dogs must have brought it in from outside. My dogs get treated monthly for ticks and fleas and do not have either. Naturally I checked them (the dogs) and they were clear. The next 2 nights, same thing. Felt something crawling on me. The 4th night, I turned on bedside lamp to look at bug. Up to this point I had no clue what a bed bug looked like. I saved it in a jar and researched what it could be. Crap! Bedbugs.
I immediately stripped everything off of the bed down to the 4” bed topper and it’s got a small nest. Put it outside. It’s ruined because it can not be washed. Flipped the mattress and lo and behold, there they are. Holy crap! I have never even so much as had a roach in my house. Now I’m freaking out because I’ve researched the tedious and expensive removal of bedbugs. They can be everywhere. Not just in the bed. Curtains, carpet, nightstands, your whole house, etc... So at this point is where my complaint really starts. I call the store and report the issue. He says someone will be calling me. I asked for the number and he said he did not have that information. I asked for an email and he says he does not have that information. Really? Then how and to who are you making the report?
So I log into my account to get customer contact information. I call the number and it gives me a sleuth if options, but none for my problem. It keeps referring me back to the retail store or the warranty Dept. Of course this is not a manufacturer warranty issue. 2 hours on the phone and I can not get anyone on the phone to help me. Then the retail employee calls me back with a number to call for customer service. Lmbo. Are you kidding me? Every number I’ve tried led me to the same unhelpful menu, including the one he gave me. So at this point, I’m sleeping in the guest room, I’ve got my room locked off, and I’m freaking the crap out, because I want these stinking mattresses out of my house. I have to sit here and wait on a phone call to come in who knows when.
In the meantime these nasty little creatures are doing their thing in my bed. So I’m not sure if this is going to be an easy or complicated process. I will not accept another mattress from them and I want my money back. And don’t forget that getting the mattresses out is only the first step in an expensive and tedious process of getting them completely gone. And it’s not a one time process. It has to be repeated in 7 days. Ugh! Let’s not forget the $150 bed topper and 2 $100 pillows that are now in the trash.
I read online, and I guess we as consumers don’t think about this at the time, but they take customers' old mattresses out of the home and haul them off in the same truck with new mattresses all of the time. These poor drivers are handling old mattresses all of the time and are probably helping the bed bugs travel by transference. I, however, kept my old mattresses and put them in the guest room. I’m so glad I did this, because now I have proof that I did not already have a bedbug problem.
So all of this long drawn out story leads to the main complaint of NOT being able to get to the right department at Mattress Firm. I have to sit here and wait for them to call me. What a deal. PS. My daughter brought it to my attention that even though the tags are on the mattress (I still haven’t removed them), both box spring and top mattress have been double tagged/re-tagged (not original tagging). Also, I can not confirm or deny if the plastic on replacement mattress was sealed or not. Those delivery drivers were quick in and quick out, in a flash. It happened so fast. Buyer beware of accepting delivered mattresses and exchanging mattresses. Ugh!!!

Mattress Firm is a national brand and we tend to move around a lot so we felt comfortable knowing that should we have problems, there would usually be another one in the other cities that we might move to. We purchased two products. One is a Serta foam one and the other is a standard coil mattress. And the sales rep we dealt with was good and knowledgeable.

I purchased a mattress along with an adjustable base (floor sample) on 06/09/2018 at Irving MacArthur store, Dallas Texas. The sales associate Angeleeta **. was very nice and knowledgeable and the customer service was awesome. The associate helped me find the right product and coordinated with other stores to find the desired product for me. I left happy as I didn't have to shop around for other brands and other manufacturers as Angeleeta made it easy for me and I ended up buying at Mattress Firm itself. But when the adjustable base was delivered it came damaged. I understand it's a floor sample. But I was never told that it could be damaged as well. Or say I assumed that Mattress Firm would discard the damaged floor sample or repair the floor sample product if offering it for sale. I couldn't see the product before purchase, as the sales associate ordered it via phone from a different store based on availability.
I am very disappointed with the fact that it came damaged and there is no warranty as well since it's a floor sample merchandise (which of course I was aware of). I called the store and they said I have the option to "buy" 3-year warranty which would cover the mechanism, but what about the damage which is clearly visible? And why to pay again on a merchandise which is already damaged. If someone buys a floor sample mattress and it has a big visible stain on it, Mattress Firm would still sell it?? I am happy with the mattress so far and thankfully my mattress was brand new. But really disappointed with the adjustable base.

The mattress from Mattress Firm is good. We had the same mattress for a while, which is why we ended up getting a new one. It’s comfortable and I really like the adjustable frame. The guy from the store I went to was really nice and was not pushy. I told him exactly what I wanted and he helped me get it. Then their system was down and they kept having to restart, so they ended up handwriting me a receipt and then the system came back up. But this stuff happens. Then the day before delivery, I got an e-mail with all the stuff that was gonna be delivered and the frame was missing. So I called them and the rep said she called the warehouse and they didn’t have the frame. But then they fixed it and it came with the delivery. They called when the delivery team was on their way. Then they got here and they were really nice and quick and they wore those little shoes. Overall, my experience with Mattress Firm was easy going and efficient.

Mattress Firm is the best place to buy good quality mattresses and if I'm gonna buy one, I don’t think I’m going anywhere else. In fact, I have purchased from them five times within the past year. They've always given me exceptional customer service and good quality stuff. I also like their mattresses and they have good quality box springs. They gave me discounts, too, because I was a repeat customer.
But for my most recent purchase, I was extremely disappointed to the point where I felt like calling my bank, quitting the transaction, and getting my money back. My delivery was completely wrong and they had to come and replace the items. I ordered soft mattresses, but I got medium ones. And I got some box spring for a bed that already had a Bunkie board, so I didn’t need the box spring.
I went in and bought something else even after they made a mistake and I talked to Regina about the issue. She told me not to worry and that they'd take care of it for me. She also said they could swap out the box spring for something else or I could return it. I said that I’d talk to my husband then I'd let them know. I called the store the next day and talked to Rue, then Rue was the one that handled it instead of Regina. Rue said that she was sorry but they had to charge me for swapping out the mattresses that they sent that were the wrong type and for picking up the box spring that I no longer needed. Interestingly, when they shipped the items to me, they only charged me half price for delivery because I was a repeat customer. But when they had to take them back, they charged me full price for delivery. My total was two something and the refund was 129. So, that sounded more like $80 instead of $40.
I asked Rue if she was serious that they were gonna charge me for a mistake that their guys made but she said that there was nothing she could do and that I had to call customer service. So, I got charged a delivery fee for the second time. Then, one of the replacement mattresses that they brought was still the wrong type. It was still medium, so I'm gonna take it back.
The mattresses I bought were normally 750 and they were on sale weeks prior. They honored the sale for me because I knew they had been on sale prior. And if they were able to do that, I was wondering how come Rue couldn’t waive the delivery fee for coming and picking up the items. If I were to call customer service and they wouldn’t give me a refund on the delivery fee, that would be disappointing. Still, I like Mattress Firm's line of Tulo Soft Mattresses and that’s why I go back to them. They’re really comfortable, although they’re not the cheapest mattresses.

A couple of months ago, I was moving out of my mom and dad’s house into a friend’s house and my queen-size bed would not fit into where I was moving into, so I needed a mattress. The representative from Mattress Firm was very helpful. It took awhile for him to get to me, but once he did, it was a very fast transaction and we found exactly what I wanted in a timely manner.
I ordered a full-size mattress. It was not too soft and not too firm. I was told that it would be arriving sometime in the week. They also said they would drop it off any time and I was gonna pick it up sooner. We couldn’t pick it up on Sunday because I was sick, so I called them on Saturday and asked if I could pick it up on Monday. They said it was fine. Then on Sunday, I had someone who was gonna help me transport it, so I called and told them that. But the person I talked to said that the mattress wasn’t gonna be shipped until Thursday, so I couldn’t get it that Sunday. Then I called back on Tuesday to ask about it and Philip, the nice person that I talked to, told me a different story. Apparently, mattress arrived on Friday. Other than that, everything was great. The mattress was cheap and Mattress Firm got friendly people.

I ordered a Mattress from the online store at Mattress Firm at the beginning of May. A few days later I received an email letting me know the Mattress that I ordered was unavailable and they'd be happy to use a different mattress to fill my order. I decided to cancel the order and go into a store and try some out so I sent them an email to cancel and they did. But, my money was never refunded to me. The initial payment was taken out of my account May 7th and It is now June 22 and I still do not have my refund. I have called twice and nothing has happened. In all my years of doing commerce, I have never had a company do this. And I've had great experiences in the store, this is absolutely unacceptable.

I made a spring box purchase from Mattress Firm five years ago. There's a Mattress Firm on my way to work and I always drive by it. It was in my mind to go there. I bought a regular metal bed frame which I like it. I wanted something simple and different as I didn’t want some big, old frame. I first went to the store at La Quinta but they only had the ones with the wheels so I was told of another store that had the bed frame I wanted. I didn't want the ones with wheels because I was putting it on bed risers. I called the store first to make sure and the older gentleman that helped me was so nice. I felt very welcome as soon as I called them and when I walked in. They knew who I was and what I wanted. I picked up my purchase and it fit in our truck so it was perfect. I recommended Mattress Firm and I told them I’ll be back soon to buy my mom a bed.

I got a mattress and box spring and my experience with them was great and very comforting. The sales rep I got was awesome and helpful. When my order was brought here, the delivery team was really nice and didn’t take long. They had a really good personality and they were very friendly. On 8/2/17, my partner and I purchased a Dreambed Lux (LX510) from the store in Shenandoah. The salesperson was very helpful and encouraged us to try out many mattresses. We wanted a very firm memory foam king mattress. I liked the LX510 because it offered cool comfort (little did I know that once the mattress pad and sheets were on, the cooling feature was negated). I paid $1000 and my partner paid the remaining $2225.83. He was reluctant to spend $3000 as he previously had Beautyrest mattresses that cost much less but I had loved my previous memory foam mattresses so we bought it. We had no problems with delivery - the gentlemen were polite and efficient and took the old mattress away.
After sleeping on this bed for a few months, he started complaining about lower back pain every morning. Not wanting to acknowledge my poor choice, I kept the fact that my back also hurt to myself. As time went on, it got worse; in fact three times since then, I've had to seek medical help to alleviate my back pain. How do we know it's the mattress? Whenever we travel, we don't wake up with lower back pain. We just spent a week in a NC cabin (and two nights in hotels) and felt great. We have been home two nights and are experiencing the same pain upon awakening. I use the memory foam pillow we got with the bed to force me to sleep either on my side or back because sleeping on my stomach can cause discomfort. I would like to know what our options are regarding replacement of this (expensive) mattress.

I went to Mattress Firm as my daughter had purchased from them previously. I got the lift, the sheets, the pillows, then I got the king split. Their sales rep was really good. It was a different rep than who my daughter worked with. My daughter wanted us to go through who she had worked with, and he really worked with her and her needs, but we ended up using a young lady and she was really good too. My husband wished that we had chosen a firmer mattress but I like the product quality.

When I ordered my mattress from Mattress Firm, I was given an 11-hour window for delivery time, and told by the salesperson that I could further request a more specific window closer to the delivery date. Now I am told that a new policy makes it impossible to find out any delivery information until you get a "2 hour window" phone call the night before. This is really inconvenient and would have stopped me from purchasing from this store. I would think any store that took over Sleepy's reliability for delivery could at least recognize that their customers have schedules to keep as well. At least they should offer that phone call 3-4 days in advance. So far, disappointed in my choice to give them a try.

I was with my family and I had been wanting to buy from Mattress Firm for some time. I decided to go ahead and get one. But I'm not sure I like my experience with it because the mattress was too soft. Other than that, the personality of the sales reps was great and I couldn't ask for a better team. They had great information and told me all the things that I could do if I wasn't happy with it.
