    Mattress Firm was close to my house and was running a sale so we decided to buy a Tulo mattress, which has a memory foam. I also got a mattress cover and a box-spring. The sales representative was very nice and accommodating. The only thing I wasn’t happy with was he said that if I didn’t like it and I had them come back to get it and give me a refund, I would be charged a delivery fee of $79. Meanwhile, I called a different Mattress Firm store, and they said that they do not charge for the pick-up if a customer is dissatisfied with the mattress. So, that bothered me because the guy that I bought it from didn’t want to take the mattress back with that big of a sale. That part irritated me, but it got taken care of only because I spoke to a different store.

    Other than that, we’re okay with the mattress. It’s for a guest bedroom, and when they first delivered it, it was defective, and was not the right size. It was six inches too narrow, so it didn’t fit the box spring. Also, because it’s a memory foam, I didn’t know if it was going to expand or not. So, I called them, and they came out and got it replaced. That part got straightened out, and I was happy about that. My daughter sleeps on the mattress, and we’re still trying to make it really comfortable. So, I may put another layer of foam on top of it.

    I drove past Mattress Firm and needed a mattress at that time so I went there and bought one and two box springs. Their sales rep was really good and knowledgeable. He gave me his opinions about the different types of mattresses. He asked what I was sleeping on at that time, which they also had in the store, but he gave me the most comparable mattress to the one I had. Then, I had my items delivered and they showed up on time. It's been a week and a half and I've been sleeping better and more soundly. I also feel more refreshed when I get up. It was at a good price because I don’t necessarily go cheap on a good mattress. I’m busy and have to sleep well because if not, I wouldn't be able to focus and do my job. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd tell my friends that it's a good choice to go with Mattress Firm.

    I’ve purchased mattresses from Mattress Firm before, and recently I purchased a full-size bed and frame. The bed is in a guest room, and guests have commented that it’s comfortable. The Mattress Firm sales representative were great in the store. They weren’t real pushy. I described what I wanted, and they showed me things within my price range, without trying to upsell. They were absolutely wonderful. Delivery was quick. I live in a gated community though, and I specifically told them that they had to be here before 5:00 and was clear about it, otherwise they won't get in the gate. When they called to give me the time frame, it was between 1:00 and 8:00 or 3:00 and 8:00. When I was notified about it, I had to get some special permissions. I didn’t expect that because I’ve never had that with them before. They’re usually pretty good about respecting gate times for deliveries.

    I had a very excellent and professional service with Mattress Firm. The return policy they have speaks volumes and makes e a difference, especially if I buy a mattress every 20 years and I got one that’s maybe too hard or too soft. They give 120 days to exchange the mattress if I have a problem with it, and it's not limited to one brand. Like if I buy a Tempur-Pedic and I want to go to their generic brand, they would allow that. They also allow to swap it out as many times, but it has to be before the 120 day mark. I had mine swapped out for another mattress, and the second time was a charm. But then the box spring was a little ripped which they replaced.

    Their sales agent was the manager who was very nice, polite, courteous and knowledgeable man. He let me walk around, especially when I went back the second time to replace my mattress. I had the items delivered and the delivery team was great. They have something online where they put up at 6:00 in the evening before the approximate time that they'd be coming the next day and they give a courtesy call as well when they’re about 30 minutes out. They put a red carpet and wore their booties. They set the bed up very quickly and put it where I wanted it. They took all the garbage with them.

    I would recommend Mattress Firm to others looking for a mattress whether it would be for themselves, a higher end mattress or for a guest room. They have everything there and even if the mattress doesn’t work out, I would highly encourage people to still go ahead as they can swap it out and get something that will work for them. In fact, I just purchased another set three weeks ago for a guestroom from them.

    The Mattress Firm salesman was great. He was very professional and thorough with his explanation. I bought a stand-alone box spring and mattress and I'm getting comfortable with it. I also ordered a box-spring for my daughter, but it was really shoddy construction. The corners were falling apart as soon as we got it. It’s a piece of junk, so I’m going to return it. The stand-alone with the hydraulics adjustment is nice, and I like the memory foam mattress I bought so far.

    There's a whole bunch of Mattress Firm down here. It's the place to go if you need a mattress. Everybody that I encountered at Mattress Firm is really nice. Their sales rep was nice. I bought two mattresses from him. I bought a mattress from him before I actually got this one that I have now. initially, when I went to my first Mattress Firm, I dealt with him who walked me through all the mattresses to see what we wanted, what is our size. He showed what mattresses would be better for us. And he helped us pick one out and he went off of how much we're trying to spend. He didn't force anything on us, which I like. Because I hate when try to push you to something that you know you can't afford or something that you don't really want.

    He was patient and we went through all the mattresses with us and let us lay on the mattresses, told us about the mattresses. And we were in there for maybe an hour. He gave us a lot of attention, he made sure that whatever mattress we pick is the one we really wanted and the one we did want, they didn't have it in stock. So, he sent us to the nearest city which is about 30 minutes away. And that's where we went to the other Mattress Firm. The manager over there was super nice. So, we got our mattresses from there.

    The only thing I was disappointed was we were supposed to get a highlight, this little veil that was going on where you got this little light under the mattress. And it should be free when you purchase the mattress a little over $500. We weren't able to get that because by the time we were ready for our mattress to be delivered because our house has been renovated, they didn't have any more left. And we were going to have to wait until January.

    That time our house is being renovated. We didn't really know when everything was going to be finished. I had to keep pushing the delivery back, and they didn't get frustrated with me. They just told me whenever I was ready, they were going to have it for me and they were going to make sure that it was delivered.
    The delivery guys came up, put the mattress and the box springs down. And they made sure that they didn't make a mess. Whatever they had, they clean up after themselves. People call to follow up with me. If I need another mattress for whatever reasons, I'm pretty sure I would go back to Mattress Firm.

    They have amazing mattresses and amazing customer service.

    We purchased a metal adjustable bed. We picked it up at the Arnold, MO store. It is very heavy. We put it in the heated garage until we had time to put it together. This frame has never been out of the box nor was the box opened. We cannot use the frame and tried to return it. In tiny tiny print on the invoice it says adjustable frames cannot be returned. The salesperson Kevin never ever told me that. He knew this was a surprise purchase for my husband. I was not asked to initial that it could not be returned. We are bitterly disappointed in this deception. If you are going to have a ridiculous policy that will cost us close to $1000 FOR NOTHING, then you need to make sure the buyer is aware.

    I went to a couple other mattress stores then I checked out Mattress Firm where I ended up buying a queen size mattress. They were running a Black Friday weekend special and the salesperson, who was also the manager, talked me into getting the adjustable base that adjusts on both ways, head and foot. The salesperson who did most of the looking with me seemed very informed and was able to overcome some of the objections that I had from a cost perspective. Even more, I was very impressed with the delivery team. They were very quick, they knew what they were doing, and I haven’t had any issues with the delivery. I now seem to be sleeping okay, not excellent, but it’s not necessarily the bed’s fault.

    I went to three different Mattress Firms. The sales clerk from the first one I went to was helpful and friendly. But the store had a very bad odor for some reason. I know sometimes mattresses can give off a really strange smell so we ended up not buying a mattress there. And then I went to another one and there was only one clerk in the store. And I waited 15 minutes. And I just couldn't wait any longer, so I left as she was helping somebody else. And then, I ended up going to the third one that I bought the bed from. The rep was the sweetest and very helpful clerk. And it was a very pleasant experience with that one. I got the memory foam which was fairly new to the store. I bought two twin beds from them and they're in the extra bedroom for guests.

    We live out in the country, and we have an electronic gate. And the delivery truck that they were in was way too big to turn around at the top of our driveway. It took them a very long time to finally turn around because even though it's a big area, his truck was way too big. They were taking so long to come through the gate so the gate closed on them. And it went off of the glide. And then, when they were leaving, they hit one of the posts at the very end. It was minor damage so, I just said forget it. The people that delivered it were very nice and professional.

    A friend of mine bought a mattress from Sleepy's and he was very satisfied with it. We went to the same place and it had Mattress Firm on it. Apparently, they bought Sleepy's. This is the location at the corner of Tryon and Walnut in Cary. We just bought a new house and decided to move our old queen size bed into the guest bedroom. We wanted to buy a king size bed and if it was going to get a king size, I wanted to get the right mattress. The gentleman who was working there that evening, his name was Ricky, was a fantastic guy. I laid down on every mattress in that store and Ricky was really helpful. He knew the products up and down. Eventually we settled on a mattress that was super-comfortable for me and my wife so we told Ricky we'd come back for it. He gave me his card and he wrote all the information down on it.

    Then I was able find an appropriate bed for the mattress at Klaussner. Once I had that, I went back in Mattress Firm's store, much to Ricky's surprise. I went ahead and bought the mattress but I told him that I'd call him once I knew when the bed would come in so they could deliver the mattress. After that, I called to let him know that our bed was going to be delivered in the afternoon of a certain day and he was able to get the mattress delivered later the same day. At first he gave me a delivery window between 6:00 and 10:00 and said that the delivery crew would call me with a narrower one. So they called and gave me a window of between 8:00 to 10:00. Then around 5:00, they called me and said they were running an hour and a half early because it was the Friday before Christmas.

    I told them to go ahead with it and the delivery guys were good. They had to navigate this huge honking mattress up my stairs which has two switchbacks on it. I could not be happier with the job the did. Whenever I need a mattress, I’m going back to Mattress Firm, but I don’t expect I’ll need new one because this sucker’s a $4000 dollar one. It's one of the models that use the foam coils inside and I haven’t had a bad night’s sleep on it. I'd tell my friends that Mattress Firm got some great mattresses and that they’re almost always running decent deals. I would tell them to go see Ricky, too, because he knows the products well and will walk them through what they need to get the right mattresses.

    We were looking to buy a new mattress and Mattress Firm had a couple of interesting items that excited us. At the time we went in, we were the only customers there and we spent a great deal of time with their rep. He showed us the mattress, we tested it by laying on it and he was very cordial. He was also not rushing us. We had a wonderful experience with him. We had the mattress delivered and the delivery team was professional and polite. They gave us a two-hour window and they came in during the time they had designated. They had to climb up two steps, then they set the bed up. There were two men but they managed it. We're very satisfied with the product. We do have 120 days to test the mattress and see whether that is what we want to keep. We've only had it for about 30 days and we're very pleased with it so far. Mattress Firm did all that we could expect from buying a mattress.

    A day before Veteran's day, I went to Mattress Firm and by the time I entered their door, their customer service was awesome. They decided to be at work on the holiday and the guy was very cheerio. The chemistry plus personality and customer service were the keys that made me purchase a mattress from them. I told the guy that I had found mattresses early in that year and my hip was fine on it. I said the comfort level I wanted in a mattress and he had me to lay on various mattresses.     I'd purchased a mattress at Mattress Firm but it didn't work out. It was made out of memory foam and all I did was stick to it and I couldn't move. I went back and there was another guy there and he was able to get me into a light mattress, the one that has all the springs in it because I've got metal in my back. It costs a thousand more but it was the right mattress, and he was helpful in getting it to me and everything that I needed to go with it. Because I'm overheating the bed, he got me the mattress top that goes onto it to keep my back cold. He also matched me up with the pillows that stay cold.

    The delivery was fine, though I hated that they had to come back twice but they had to do it. They came back and got the other one, took the other one back and brought me the new one. They were professional and they didn't make a mess. I’ll have to wait two weeks for the pillows because they didn't have them in store, but it all worked out great. I'm no longer a sweat hog in my bed. I'd buy from Mattress Firm again if I had to, and I'd recommend them to anybody. They do a wonderful job.

    Mattress Firm is one of the local dealers on Dixie Highway that I knew was there. I looked around for a long time and they gave us a real good deal and worked with us. I bought a Split King with an adjustable frame with a memory foam hybrid mattress. We bought it on Black Friday and it's working great for us. The reps treated us real well.     My fiancé lives in Wichita, Kansas and I live in Martin, Oklahoma. I had moved and I needed a new mattress. Because Mattress Firm has a store in both locations, we could test the same mattress by ourselves. Sometimes we'd be sitting there and talking on the phone while testing the mattresses, but it worked. I first bought one of those things with the base and the vibrating bed, and with the head and feet being able to move. We also bought two extra twins. My fiancé wrecked his back a couple of times so he didn't like the first mattress we bought. The sales rep explained it all to us, but they missed something that we did not like with the seam in the middle when we had the two extra twins. If we had thought about it long and hard, we might have decided against that. We did not like having that division in the middle, and now we just have a king.

    The delivery took both times a few days, and they usually called ahead. I got one remiss and I don't know if the batteries were a little bit loose, but the other one was fine. It’s firm but it's cushy and it didn't cost me any problems. It is expensive when you start adding all that stuff up, but the experience was really professional and Mattress Firm took good care of us.

    My boyfriend and I had been talking about getting a king size for a while 'cause the three I bought last year were queens and we'd been wanting a king. Mattress Firm is really close to my house, and I was on the way home and I thought it was the same place I bought beds from last year. It wasn't, but it all worked out. There were two gentlemen reps, and they were very helpful. They each knew a lot about the products that Mattress Firm carries. They were also really good at working together, doing the finance and making sure I got a good deal, so I went home with the bed. Also, I love the delivery app. It would inform me of how far away they were. They gave me a little GPS map and it would send me a text message, which was really cool. I didn't have to wonder when they were coming. That's a really impressive idea.

    My grandparents had a water bed for almost 40 years, and my purchase from Mattress Firm, a king bed and the adjustable base, is an upgrade. They love it. Delivery was a mess, though. They delivered the incorrect one and couldn't find the one that I purchased. It was put in another box. They never found it so they just brought me a different one.     We were Harvey victims and we had five feet of water in our home. And so, we’ve had to replace just about everything in our home, including all three mattresses. Mattress Firm was having a great sale and they were at a convenient location to where I’m living. Russ, who was a salesperson, was very nice and personable. He didn’t come on strong. He gave me a lot of good information and he educated me about mattresses. He was very pleasant to deal with. The deal was where the adjustable piece came with the mattress. But then, I upgraded to the whole lift and we’re real happy with those.

    The delivery and the set up also went very well and I’m very impressed with that. The delivery guys were very respectful. They had shoe coverings that they put over their shoes so that it wouldn’t mark at the carpet. They were very careful and prompt. They arrived exactly when they said they would and called before to make sure I was home. The whole experience was one of the best experiences I’ve had so far with delivery services. Everything went well and I’m very happy. I would recommend Mattress Firm to family and friends.

    My in-laws purchased their mattress last year from Mattress Firm and after they told us where, my husband and I went and picked a bed. We moved into a townhouse and we got rid of our old bed, so we had the mattress scheduled to be delivered on the day that we moved in. Two delivery guys came and one of them went up two or three steps while the other one stayed at the floor. Then they had an attitude, said that the mattress won't fit, and refused to even attempt to put it up the stairs. They said that if anything gets damaged then we’re responsible. I told them there had to be a way because our neighbor has a king size and all the townhouses here are the same layout. Yet the delivery guys left and we didn’t have a bed to sleep on. I’m pregnant and we thought we were getting a nice bed. It was very frustrating and we were exhausted from the move.

    The next day, I confirmed with my landlord who owns the building and she said that a king always fits in the townhouses with no problem. So I called the saleswoman who sold me the bed and explained to her what happened. She told me to email it in writing so she can pass it along to her supervisor. I sent her the email but she said she never got it even though I confirmed her email address three times. Then she said she would have two twins that are the same of the original bed I ordered minus the pillow top and then have them sent to me the day after that. So I said, “Okay.” And then she said that they’d try to figure out what they could do from then.

    Afterwards, the saleswoman told me the warehouse was refusing to have anyone else come back out with the king size and it was not going to fit. I told her that my stairway’s completely open on the side, that it’s a normal, straight stairwell and not a spiral staircase, so the mattress could be maneuvered horizontally up there. She said that the mattress is too thick and if we were going to do that then we have to pick one that’s not as thick. So we went back to another Mattress Firm closer to our house to pick out another bed.

    Different guys came to deliver that time with no problem and they were very nice. Before they even put the mattress there, they pointed that they were going to come in through the side and push it up. It wasn’t even like a struggle at all and a bigger mattress would have fit. It was so silly. I explained to them what happened the first time and they thought it was crazy. Unfortunately, since I got the less thick king mattress we ended up, I’ve been having severe back pain. I had to go to the ER on Monday night because of how bad the back pain has been and it’s getting worse. I picked out a comfortable king then they had to tell me that I had to settle for one that’s thinner and now, I’m stuck with a bed that I can’t even sleep in.

    I told Mattress Firm all these today and I don’t know how much they care. I got up the phone with the salesperson and the last thing she said was that the warehouse manager said that besides the specific king we have now, they will not have their deliverers try to put another king size mattress up our stairs and that we will have to be responsible. They can deliver it to our door but we have to put it up the stairs. This is not the same original mattress that the first guys refused to put up. This mattress is thicker than the one I have now, but it's not a memory foam mattress and it doesn’t have a pillow top. Before the mattress we have now was delivered, we had two twins put together, which I don't want. Back then I didn’t have back problems and I slept fine. I want a king mattress and they’re making it such a big deal.

    I’ve been in communication over the phone with Frank, the supervisor of the saleswoman who sold me the bed when we first picked them up. And he’s been very nice, understanding, and said that he doesn’t want me to be unhappy with a big purchase. He wasn’t in today so the saleswoman reached out to me and she said that she was relaying what his message was. She made it seem like the warehouse is refusing to be a part of putting in the king mattress and that they have the final say. It was hard to believe. I don’t know how it works but the delivery have been the ones that keep telling the saleswoman and her supervisor that they’re not going to do it. And it’s all because of the two deliverymen who came the first time. It’s been a very stressful situation. I even asked for the same two men who got the mattress that we have now up with no problem because they were careful and strong.

    Moreover, Mattress Firm had the adjustable base come because we ordered those the same day we ordered the mattress, and they were in back order until last week. So in the meantime, they gave us box springs so the mattress wasn’t on the floor. But when they delivered the adjustable bases over the weekend, they couldn’t figure out how to program it. So, my experience has been horrible.

    I purchased a queen-size, extra firm bed at Mattress Firm. Adam was my salesman and he was really good. My girlfriend and I were in there and he let us take our time when he showed us different beds. He didn't rush us and he let us make up our own mind. He was also real friendly. Delivery was fine but I still don't have my headboard yet and the delivery company misdelivered my plastic mattress cover to another customer. I was hoping to get a phone call today with a two-hour window that my headboard was going to be delivered, and as of right now, I haven't gotten a phone call for that either.     We’d seen Mattress Firm's ad in the paper. And we’d seen it while we were driving down the road, so we went in, and saw what we wanted. Their rep did a good job. He was a very good salesman. And he was a big guy, and I’m a pretty good sized guy, so he knew what my problem was. And so, he steered us to the good stuff. We bought twin beds with the really good mattresses made by Simmons. And we knew about Simmons from years ago owning Simmons furniture. So, we were impressed with that, and they’re nice mattresses. We got the bed frames, box springs, and the mattresses. And we never had twin beds before so we also got covers for the mattresses, some sheets, and a couple of blankets.

    My wife had a knee operation, and I’m one of these people who doesn’t lay still very long. So, she didn’t want me kicking her leg. And at our home in Kalamazoo, we had a big queen size bed. We’ve been sleeping in separate bedrooms because of her knee operation. So, we thought we’d check down here. We had a mattress down here that wasn’t very old, but we didn’t like it at all. And what we got from Mattress Firm seems to be working really good. It looks very good, and I haven’t fallen out of bed yet.

    This is my second time I went to Mattress Firm. It was Sleepy’s before at the same location. The store was neat, too. The first time we purchased, it was my bed. It was good, and we rely on that. We wanted to have a better mattress. It is used daily, so we need something to get comfort. We recently bought a mattress for my parents. There were only two reps and we were only two customers at that time. Each rep was busy, but I appreciate the person who went with us. He spent time and engaged with us. He threw his experience about the mattresses, and he helped us to choose the good one. I would definitely say that he did a good job.

    We chose the best one we know will be a good choice. However, my parents are complaining about their back problem after they wake up every morning. I told them, “You should give it a try.     Mattress Firm were honest folks to deal with, so I didn’t feel like I needed to do a whole lot of shopping. I bought two Serta twin XL, combined to create the king size bed. It’s motion based. If I’m hurting throughout the day, it helps at the end of the day at bed. The least desirable part I’ve experienced was the delivery. I’m supposed to get a call 30 minutes to an hour before they arrive and they didn’t. Instead, they called when they were out front and so, I wasn’t quite prepared for that. And then, once they came in and saw the mattress, the guy said, "I don’t think we can take that.” And I said, “Well, they said at the store that they could.” Then he said that they lie at the store, so they can sell a mattress. It’s not professional to talk about your company like that.

    My old bed is a Purple brand and he said that they didn’t know if they could recycle it. So, that was the determining bases to whether or not they could take it. But they pulled out the mattress and took it. I assumed that he called his boss, and his boss gave him the approval. I said I want to keep the frame and he said that I have to dismantle it. I didn’t expect that either because they were supposed to help do that part too, as my understanding, and they didn’t. However, at the store, I felt like they took a lot of time with me. In fact, they even move the mattress around for me, which I didn’t expect. So, that was above and beyond. It was a good experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I bought my mattress and some pillows that were scented. The pillows are very nice. They’re soft. They have a nice piña colada smell and the scent stays in a long time. We’ve had it for a year now and I can still smell mine. It is so comforting. When my head hits that pillow, I smell the scent and I just doze off.     Purchased a king headboard online 10/25/17. Delivery was made with no notice of shipped date or eta over a month later to our second part time mountain home in Flagstaff. Delivery was left out in the yard and in the rain... The box was totally destroyed and headboard soiled so shipping carton was disposed. Also it was the wrong headboard delivered in an oatmeal color but we had ordered a dark gray. Many emails have gone back and forth with no resolution and hardly any human information. Calls on the phone holding for over 30 minutes per call with no customer service picking up. We have purchased 2 king mattress sets recently and all was good with that process. This headboard purchase is very disappointing with us receiving the wrong item. We would NEVER do business with this company ever again.     I wanted a new bed and I happened to be driving by and saw Mattress Firm. I stopped and checked out what they offered and they had a pretty solid deal. They said they could finance me with zero interest so I told them to make it happen. I also liked the guy I was talking to at first. I was with my buddy at that time and the rep talked to us like we were people. He was relatable, told us about his Thanksgiving weekend, and wasn't just someone trying to sell us a mattress. While we were talking, another guy came in and he excused themselves to talk. That gave me and my buddy plenty of time to talk about which mattress could work out because he was going to take my old mattress and I was getting a new one.

    The Mattress Firm rep was really helpful. I was looking to replace my daughter's mattress which was in really bad shape. I didn't have a lot of cash so I was just starting really low, then the rep was really good about showing us what they can. We then kept looking a little bit more. I found some that we really like and they were on sale. He told us quite a bit about them. Instead of one, we ended up with two mattresses that have a real pillow-y top to it, and we were able to finance it instead of me just paying cash. I still got great pricing though, and it was really a great experience.

    The delivery team was on time. There was a time I was a little nervous because they dragged the old mattress out and it has those little plastic covers around the edge just from when we bought them, and we have wood floors.     I bought a couple of adjustable bases from Mattress Firm in Alpharetta, GA worth $1100. Sales rep was very clear in explaining that it will fit any bed frame since we didn't have our bed frame delivered at the time of purchase. Frame was delivered 3rd day after adjustable bases were delivered and turned out, they don't fit into the bed frame. I chatted with someone on Mattressfirm.com and they said local store rep would call me to discuss however no one called me. I called the local store today. Rep says that adjustable bases will not be returned under any circumstances. And if it doesn't fit into the bed, he suggested to put it on Craigslist instead of helping with solutions.     I went to Sleep Number and the bed that I wanted was like $8,000. I didn’t want to spend that much money even though the bed was amazing. So, I decided to go to Mattress Firm. The manager there was really nice. He helped us and everything was going smooth at that point. But I didn’t know that there was full disclosure as far as how long it was going to take. He told us that it was coming from somewhere else, but it just took forever before I got the bed. I had to keep calling and calling and calling. Every time I called them, they told me, “No. We haven’t received the product." I finally called the general manager and he went to the store. Then within a week or two after that, I got the bed.

    It took them over a month to deliver the bed. I figured with all the aggravation and everything, they were throwing some sheets or a pillow, but there was nothing. It was not a good experience and then they didn’t even try to make it a good experience. I spent $3000 on that bed and I have to go out now to try to find sheets because they're special. It’s a pain and a real hassle, so I’m not happy with it. Mattress Firm's customer service should be a little better. I probably would go to Sleep Number for my next bed because the bed was amazing and just remote controlled with different settings.

    Purchased a Serta iComfort from Mattress Firm in early 2012. The Mattress Firm employee told us the bed has a lifetime warranty and any impression in the mattress 2 inches or more would constitute replacement. Only 2 years after purchase the mattress had a significant impression. I contacted Mattress Firm to start the warranty process and was told after an inspection that it qualified for replacement. Several months passed without hearing from Mattress Firm. When I called I was informed all warranty issues will now be handled by the manufacturer and I would have to start the process over with Serta. Serta was impossible to deal with!

    Sometime later I learned Mattress Firm was handling warranty claims again. I quickly contacted the warranty department regarding my claim. They had no information from the initial claim and I was forced to start all over again. Now I was being told my warranty was only 30 years with a minimum 3 inch depression. After countless hours on the phone with them they sent another inspector. He told me the mattress was definitely qualified for warranty replacement due to the severe body impression and the "breaking down" of the material inside.

    Mattress Firm received his report and mailed me a letter saying my mattress did not qualify for a warranty replacement. I called several more times and never got the same story. I requested to speak with supervisors and got nowhere. I went back to the store to speak to a real person who called the warranty department for me. I was then told my warranty claim had previously been approved a long time ago but nobody ever contacted me to let me know. Once again I was told to start the process from the beginning. I contacted Rachel **, district sales manager, and was given the run around by email. In the end she stopped responding to my emails. I have an expensive mattress that I can't sleep on and the company I bought it from won't honor the warranty. I've been lied to, hung up on, screamed at and accused of lying by employees of Mattress Firm. All I want is a bed I can sleep on and customer service!

    I went into a Mattress Firm across street Lowe's near the mall in Winston Salem, NC, looking for a bed. The manager Andrew, he said he was the manager and wouldn't give me a card as he said he did not have one, he wore a man bun. This man named Andrew was nice until I asked my husband to take a picture of the bed, cause I saw one almost identical online with free delivery and was less expensive. Andrew then started saying I was rude at least 4 to 5 times as I was laying on the bed. I was very shocked at the way he was attacking me. There were two other employees there and they said nothing and were looking down at the desk they were sitting at, like they were embarrassed by their manager's behavior.

    Andrew did stop insulting me when I got up off the bed, I then walked across the room to another bed and he proceeded to follow me and continue with calling me rude and saying how would I feel if someone came into my store and tried out the merchandise and then did not buy. His voice was getting louder and more aggressive. I then turned to him and said stop, just stop, I told him that I was the customer and that he was being very rude to me. I told him that I was not being rude to him that I was just looking around, that the customer is always right. I then approached him and asked his name and to speak to the manager, he told me he was the manager. I asked him for his card and he said he did not have one. I told him that I would never step foot in this store again. He seemed happy to upset me. I think he knew I was not buying a mattress from him and thought he could treat me disrespectfully.

    My experience with Mattress Firm's employee was like nothing I have ever experienced before in my life. He insulted me, he humiliated me, he treated me discriminatory. I have never written a bad review online before, as it is not in my nature, but I am so upset and shocked at the way this man treated me that I had to write this.

    Mattress Firm has failed to perform its contractual obligations to me as a customer. When looking for a mattress, prospective buyers should be cautious about transacting business with Mattress Firm. Mattress Firm made a promise to deliver its product 12 days after the exchanging funds. Mattress Firm called the day before the scheduled delivery date apologizing to say they did not have the product and promised to have the product delivered in another 7 days. Today the day before Mattress Firm was rescheduled to deliver the product, my wife initiated contact with Mattress Firm to confirm the delivery. Only she was told the product was still not available for delivery and requested another delivery date 4 days later.

    I have a promise that a District Manager who probably has no authority to do anything and no ability to impact the satisfaction of this contract, will call me tomorrow. At this point Mattress Firm has not satisfied any part of this contract, making me skeptical that anyone with any authority to satisfy this contract will contact me. Do not believe Mattress Firm can be trusted to fulfill its contractual obligations. Contractual performance by Mattress Firm should be approached with considerable skepticism. My recommendation is if you cannot take the product with you at the time of purchase, take your business elsewhere.

    I wanted to buy a mattress from the store that I could check things out here in Connecticut, and still get something down in Florida. The Mattress Firm sales rep described the different beds I was looking at. He gave me good information about the types of mattresses. I kind of knew the type of mattress that I was looking for when I went in, but I didn’t know if I was gonna go with a medium firm or a firm mattress. He was very helpful in figuring out which one might be more suitable. Once he helped me get it narrowed down and realizing that I still have their trial period guarantee, that made it easy to make the purchase.

    After we got the mattress, we had some questions so my wife went back to the store. The store we went to has two sides, the cheap and the expensive side. The problem was since we purchased from the expensive side, the guy working at the cheap side won’t help us and we had to look for the guy on the other side. Although the guy from the cheap side knew what my wife was asking because he would explain some things to her but he was not willing to commit his time to help us. The guy who we had originally bought from was busy helping another customer. But other than that, Mattress Firm got the whole spectrum to check out from cheap to expensive mattresses and I’d recommend them to a friend.

    We liked the way Mattress Firm dealt with us and we've been very happy with the quality of the items we got from them. We purchased a bed from them 13 years ago then we went back there when we needed a new mattress liner. When we decided to replace our mattress, we went there again and got the mattress we needed. My mother-in-law also needed a mattress so we went there and got her a bed and the box. We got a free pillow with that, too. Then we decided we wanted another pillow and we just did that yesterday. Their sales reps suggested the appropriate items and made sure that we felt comfortable with what we were purchasing before we purchased it. We had the bed and the foam mattress delivered to our home and the old one taken out, and that went fine. As for my mother-in-law's items, I picked them up for her and that worked out real easily.     DO NOT order a mattress online. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. First wait time was 90 minutes and the second was a little over an hour. The last time I called, there was 64 callers in the Queue. Order came over a week late and then was missing the box spring! Called the customer service number again, and got a lovely message that all the operators were enjoying a good night sleep. This is before the time they claim to close. If I get the entire order, and if I can return I will absolutely return and NEVER buy online from Mattress Firm again.

    I used Mattress Firm before and there is one in my neighborhood. When I was doing some research, I know that Mattress Firm has a couple of good sales going on specially around Black Friday. Then when I went to the store, the person who attended to me was very helpful and I had a great experience with him. However, I’m a little upset with them now. It has been about two weeks and a couple of days and my bed was supposed to come today, but I got a call yesterday saying there has been a mix up so it won’t come for another week and a half.     Mattress Firm had the best deal for what we wanted. I bought a king size bed from them and it was part memory foam and part spring. The rep was very professional and very kind, too. He took care of us and what we wanted and got us a good deal. The delivery people were also very professional, very quick and very efficient. Once they came in, they knocked, pulled up the carpet, then, about 20 minutes later, it was all set-up. I'm still breaking the bed in a little bit but it is very comfortable and we got the space we need. Mattress Firm did a very good job.     I rented a new apartment with additional bedrooms and needed to upgrade my mattresses so I purchased them from Mattress Firm. I’ve been seeing a ton of advertising for those mattresses from big furniture stores. They’re expensive and upon reading the reviews it shows that over time they may not be as reliable. I was also looking at pricing options and I would rather go with the firm that actually does mattresses, instead of looking at a big furniture store. I saw there was an advertising for a sale at Mattress Firm -- buy one, get one free, or get one half off, depending on what we got. I ended up purchasing a mattress and box spring, two of them each. One of them was already on sale. It wasn't a buy one, get one but it was still a decent price. The total order was $1,300 for two mattresses and the box springs.

    The interaction with their sales rep, whose name is Leo, was very good. He was very nice and allowed me to check out different services and different mattresses. I love being able to test out the mattresses. He was patient as well and allowed me to go within my price range. I came in with a mindset of already wanting to purchase so it was easy. He listened to my needs and I ended up going with the medium-soft firmness mattress. I have my own mattress in my bedroom and I love it. It’s very soft and I sleep comfortably. There's no hip pain anymore. The other mattress is in my guest bedroom.

    As I was driving by I opted to go and check out what Mattress Firm has. I was pleased with what they had and I was able to get what I wanted. Their rep was very helpful. I’m 5 feet 2.5 inches and I was by myself. I didn’t want to pay for the delivery service and I thought the price was a little high because we live just around the corner. I ended up loading it onto my car and he showed me the way to secure it in a safe manner. I got home and within five minutes I got the mattress upstairs. It’s been happy sleeping ever since. It is a good mattress for the price.

    I went back again and purchase another mattress. There is one drawback. The mattress might be shaking a little bit but it's comforting that there’s a 120 days guarantee. I’m going to watch it for the next two weeks and see what happens. It could be that I just need to maneuver it around since it's the type of bed that doesn't require a box spring. I just want to make sure that it isn’t dipping at all.

    I told my husband I wanted a new mattress for my birthday. So in late August, we headed to our local Mattress Firm to check them out. I purchased a mattress there 8 yrs prior and loved it but it was a queen and since getting married we upgraded to a king. They had the exact same mattress still! So I purchased. It was delivered by two RANDOM guys in an unmarked truck. They not only delivered the mattress but a HUGE hole in our wall. I had purchased a new mattress cover for this mattress and stored our old mattress in the basement. A few weeks later I stripped the bed to wash everything for a good fall clean. Having NO reason to think otherwise, I took the mattress protector off. It was off for 2 days. DUMB MOVE. That was all the time it took for the BED BUGS that had been trapped inside the mattress protector to make their way to our bed frame.

    Within days my hands and arms were covered in these crazy itchy bumps. I didn't connect the two and the timeframe. This went on for WEEKS. I actually stopped sleeping in our bedroom and moved to the guest room, thinking that maybe there was something in our bedroom breaking me out. I still can't believe I was so naive. By the middle of October I was miserable. Itchy spots all over. My husband had none. I could NOT figure out what was happening! He changes our bed linens and one day I decided to do it for him. Imagine my horror when I pulled off the covers and saw the telltale black dots all over his side of the bed on the sheets (he sleeps under the covers and I sleep on top). I KNEW it right then and there. Freaked out and started calling around. I was able to get a bed bug dog to our house a week and a half later and the ONLY spot in a 3600 square foot house was our MATTRESS and HEADBOARD.

    The ONLY thing different in our routine was a NEW MATTRESS. I'm so disgusted. After a spray I'm not satisfied with the pace at which these bugs are dying. I want them gone NOW. Let's just say that my entire house is being heated on Friday. So far I've spent almost 5k to rid my bedroom of these bugs. Thank you Mattress Firm. After doing a little research I see that this is a HUGE problem for your company. Big mistake, HUGE. You'll be having me in your store this week and on the news by Sunday night. Good luck.

    A friend of mine said that Mattress Firm might be having some discounts. When I got there, there was no discount, but the guy showed me a really comfortable mattress which was a Tulo. I liked it and I went for it. My budget was lower than that and I wasn’t planning on buying. I was just looking around to see what my options were, but the guy was really good at it. He talked me into buying it and I did, and I was excited about it but unfortunately, I haven’t tried it yet.

    They said that the mattress would be delivered the next day. The next day they called me and said they didn't have it in stock. They would deliver it on the 30th which was 10 days after that day. The 30th came and they said they didn't have it yet and they were going to have to deliver it on the 9th. In the meantime they delivered a mattress for me to sleep on which was good. Unfortunately, I’m traveling on the 9th so I spoke to them and I told them I won’t be able to receive it then. I asked if they could deliver it around January 12 and they said okay.

    Mattress Firm has good mattresses and good sales people. But when something wrong happens they need to show the customer some appreciation. I asked maybe they would offer me a pillow as a gift or something, but it didn’t work out. The first guy said no, then the second guy said he didn’t know and then he ended up getting me the cheapest pillow ever that was really uncomfortable. They could’ve done better in that regard.

    I purchased a full size Sealy mattress September/2012 and it has had a very pronounced sag on the sides and bottom. For about two years. I contacted Sleepy's/Mattress Firm and was told to turn the mattress and take pictures of tags and measurements of the sag with a ruler.     Mattress Firm is everywhere. I had been through a couple of other places including another Mattress Firm location but I liked the price and the service of the Mattress Firm store I walked into near my house. Their sales representatives were friendly and they have excellent customer service. It was one of the main reasons why I purchased there. I got two queen mattress sets and I’m extremely satisfied with it. They delivered the sets at home. I had furniture delivered the same day from a furniture company and the mattress delivery guys were much more professional than the furniture delivery guys. They automatically put show covers on when they came into my house and they were very polite.

    I would recommend that particular location and it was the salesman that made the difference because he was very welcoming from the moment I walked into the store. I was very turned off by the one location and how I was treated. I felt they were very pushy and overbearing and I didn’t get that feeling at all from this location.     My experience with Mattress Firm was fantastic. The rep who helped me was just filling in for that store at that time, but he answered all my questions. He helped me out with the specials they had. It was great and I now own the perfect mattress that I needed. I looked at the whole set. However, I didn’t want to spend that amount of money for the complete set since I already figured out that the support for my box-spring is still good to use.     I bought my mattress during the 2017 Labor Day weekend sale. The Salesperson gave me a free box spring and we bought three pillows and a mattress protector on sale. Since using the mattress, I have severe back and neck pain. Mattress Firm has since taken the mattress back but has now charged me full price for every item I bought. The manager is stating that since I received "deals on the items” with the purchase of the mattress, that I have to pay full price for the items because they are "non-refundable". This is not stated anywhere on my agreement. The return policy is 120 days from delivery date if not completely satisfied with no mention of raising prices anywhere stated in the policy nor did we sign a sheet that said we accepted an inflation of prices.

    I have been trying to get in contact with corporate, emailed corporate and no one will call me back. This is by far the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. In addition the sales representative is commission based during this whole experience and therefore getting paid off of the additional funds I am being charged. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and going to smalls claims court.

    Lessons learned, Never Again will I be used by Mattress Firm! Why I Choose to continued to do business with this company, AFTER I was charged 4 times for a bed ($1,400!) that ruined my One Bank account, is beyond me!?! And had to dispute transactions placed By the corporate call center located in Houston with "Peter" from New York. Not from an online transaction mind you!

    I got sucked into this mess when my brother (sorry bro) recommended Mattress Firm after his house caught fire and insurance gave them new beds. Sooo It was Black Friday sales which are still going on for the record... I did try to place an order for a bed online, wasn't processing (I do have past order numbers to prove this) so I proceeded to call corporate and that is when my reality became a real nightmare.

    I have been dealing with idiocy from Houston regarding my transaction(s) since November 30th. I get an automated call from Mattress Firm that my delivery will be complete during the hours of 8am-12pm, AWESOME. Finally after all the BS I've gone through thus far... Only to be slapped in the face by Signature Red Carpet Treatment with a delivery for ONLY a Pillow!? Truck driver said he felt as though there was more to this delivery than a pillow. At any rate, to this day 12/9/2017 Mattress Firm fails to take any ownership on its behalf to provide the consumer a SIMPLE DELIVERY DATE!

    It's not "US". It's FEDEX? Excuse me, y'all have my money and no determination on when my delivery will be? I have apparently 3 customer representatives who will get back to me with an answer (9 days still waiting), because according to the initial delivery guy that bed is on back order? C'mon... no indication to the buyer that I'll be waiting until next year for my mattress to be delivered?! UNBELIEVABLE.

    I have given another call out to Mattress Firm (6 total) today, come to find out their distributor of my bed is having a Christmas Party and is indefinitely closed for the weekend, SO IT COULD BE SHIPPED. I am done with hyperboles scenarios, I need Facts dammit! I threw my own mattress away when I received "your order will be shipped phonecall," because due to my city where I live, Large Trash should be placed on the first week of the new month, so what should have been a smooth transition into a beautiful new bed and out with the old situation, turned into a red carpet nightmare!

    I have Excruciating back pain. Due to this and frankly, after seeing my personal bank account depleted into inefficiency, it ultimately is MY fault for continuing business as the initial response was, Due to high volumes on our website we were unable to process your order, and our systems were being funny. So let me do it over the phone for you - I WANT ANSWERS BY THE END OF 12/14/2017.

    TWO THINGS TO NOTE - Mattress Firms website doesn't keep a live inventory count on their website, so they will gladly take your money but keep you in the dark for when you will be able to benefit that money being spent. Also be prepared, if and when a bed ships from outside of their " Trademarked Signature Red Carpet Treatment Service" warehouse, they HAVE NO CLUE about your purchase 100% Guaranteed. I am insulted by the customer service and if I don't hear a follow up SOON you bet I will trash this name beyond a shadow of a doubt to friends and family to social review market places. Outraged I get kicked to the curb every time I ask for a simple status update be it supervisors or service representatives.

    I bought a Queen Mattress - Beautyrest from this company 2 years ago. They were call Sleepy's. Now they call Mattress Firm. I had 15 years warranty. After 1 year of purchase the mattress has a belly. I call Sleepy's, they send a mattress marshal to investigate. He came and used a piece of yarn to measure the mattress. In my mind I knew this was nonsense. When Sleepy's got back to me I was told “the mattress did not sink enough to used the warranty”. This company sells fake mattress. I will not recommend anyone to buy their mattresses. Customer service was horrible.

    I bought from Mattress Firm before. They’re not fishy. I know what I usually want and they don’t talk me out of it. I get a different salesman sometimes but I understand that. They’re all trained by the same company. The last sales rep whom I dealt with was Gene. He wasn’t pushy just like the others. The two young men who did the delivery were excellent. The first words out of their mouths were, “Do you want us to use the shoe covers?” They had the bed set up and didn’t want any help from my grandson.     We’re landlords and we have a vacation home, so we were looking to buy some king-size and two queen beds. Mattress Firm's sales rep, Bill, was very helpful and he has a lot of knowledge. We told him that we didn’t particularly need to buy new mattresses and he showed us the returns that people have selected and didn’t like after a few days. Since it’s going to be a vacation rental, the mattresses are going to be slept on by lots of different people, so it really wasn’t an issue for us to buy brand-new. Bill gave us a great deal that’s exactly within our budget. We bought three complete beds with frames and protectors and everything that goes with it without the headboards.

    We took some of the smaller items like the mattress protectors and the pillows but the mattresses and frames were delivered. My wife received the delivery and she said that the delivery team was very professional and courteous and they took the items into the rooms that we needed them in.     Mattress Firm Purchase. Lump in Mattress or sunk hole. Bought this Visionary Pl King Mattress on July 14, 2015 for my Mother at that time was 80 years old and small Woman. When I called to see what they would do, they want me to pay about $36.00 for someone to come out and look at it, and also measure the hole also. So many things they wanted me to do, that it was amazing! I would not care about paying the $36.00 but the way that person was telling me that it has to be 1/2 foot deep they would not replace it or cover it. So beware and read your Warranty, because I did not! Never seen such terrible reply for a mattress in my whole 62 years of my business career. I have Bought Many Mattress from them and this will be my last! Will replace her mattress with another company that I know stands behind their product.     I got a mattress couple years ago... After some time the mattress started to sink in one spot. I called customer service to see what they can do for me. They sent me a specialist who did check my mattress and he told me that he will write report... I was not happy with specialist because I think he was not accurate with my concerns. If you have a lifetime warranty, you should be able to exchange your mattress. Please be careful with the promises of lifetime warranty...

    We got a bed and an adjustable base from Mattress Firm, and it wasn’t a good experience. We ordered a queen bed and they tried to deliver a queen base with a king bed because the sales rep accidentally ordered a king bed instead of a queen. We went to a different sales person after that and got stuff, and our mattress was delivered defective. It had a huge hump in the bed. They finally got it right after the third one, but it was a long process.

    When we got a new mattress we decided to upgrade to a king, and we can’t return the adjustable bases. We had to buy a king adjustable base, so now we have two adjustable bases. That was all fine, but we went through so much trap with them. When they delivered our king bases, one of them didn’t work so they had to bring another one. They were supposed to be delivering a new king mattress because mine was defective and another base was also defective. For some reason one of their sales people told them to cancel the order. So, then I had to wait longer to get it because I had to call and ask for it again. I wrote four emails to the customer service team for Mattress Firm and I received no replies from them in almost a month. To my first email they sent me one back saying that they would have somebody in touch within one business day, and then the next three emails after that, there was no response at all.

    I’ve already told about 10 people who are looking to get mattresses to absolutely not go to Mattress Firm. I understand the retail business, I’m pretty forgiving when it comes to things, but it was just one after another, after another, after another, and I’m so tired of it. The company as a whole is pretty broken when it comes to the individual sales people. The only thing they got going is nobody was rude and they were all really nice. But there are other mattress stores that offer same things but way better deals that are off the bat, and they’re way better to their customers. I wish I would’ve went somewhere else.

    Mattress Firm was a local dealership and they had a very good selection and the rep, Margaret, was very helpful and knowledgeable. I felt like the mattresses were a little too expensive but that wasn’t based on anything other than the prices that were there. Initially we purchased a medium spring and coil mattress but we ended up with a different mattress. When we took it home it felt like it had little valleys in it from the start. I was kind of surprised since it was a brand-new mattress according to the lady but it didn’t feel like it. I laid a light piece of wood across and measured it and it already had an inch and a quarter sags on both spots where people sleep.

    I was kind of wondering about that because you could feel the valleys tangibly as soon as the first night we've slept on it. So we did not keep that one and they were very good about taking it back and trading it. We exchanged it for a different model mattress and that one was brand new when it arrived. We've been sleeping on it now for about two weeks and it was great and we really like it. It was more comfortable than our previous mattress. The team delivered it and set it up and the guys that came were great on both times. The first time to deliver it and the second time to exchange the mattress.

    I would like to make a suggestion however. When we had a problem with the first mattress we mentioned it to the lady and she strongly encouraged us to give it 30 days to sleep on. I understand it takes your body time to adjust but the mattress was causing quite a bit of discomfort because of the valley. I'm a veteran and I have a neck injury so the mattress was kind of cranky on my neck because the outside edge of the bed was higher than the valley. When I slept it was kind of prying my head up a bit so after about a week I told her that I'm done. I understand the reason behind the 30 days but maybe that’s not an appropriate policy to suggest for everybody.

We purchased a king-size Sealy mattress from Mattress Firm and also had a great experience. The sales rep was great. We came and we knew exactly what we wanted. He took us through all the models and tried a couple of more models to see if we liked it. He showed us about the adjustable bases and how those work. We had to leave halfway through to go to an appointment and he didn’t pressure us to try anything. He said he would see us later. We came back and he talked to us right away. We were able to get in touch with the same salesman.

    And then the day we got the mattress delivered, it had a rip in it and we called him up. He sent us out a new one right away and it has been great and has met our expectations. They were very polite, made sure they were clean, put all the mats down, and unwrapped the mattress for us the way we wanted it so they were very nice. I had a great experience with Mattress Firm.     We bought beds and a headboard from Mattress Firm before. Then, my physical therapist told me that they had a store up from the street that had what she had in mind for me. So she said that we were going to go to Mattress Firm. When I walked in, I saw Donna who's a supervisor and she helped me with my purchase. She was very good. But I have a problem with the mattress I bought. It's like a hospital bed with the feet and head that come up. I also got the massage feature as an extra. The mattress comes away from the wall and it's very heavy so it has to be pushed back. The bed is all right but it's not the most comfortable thing. I thought it would be super comfortable but I can't seem to hit that spot yet. I'm working on it and when I go to sleep at night, I adjust the head part a lot.

    My sister was and the lady that helps me were here when the bed was delivered. They said that the delivery people were wonderful. When I went inside the room, the installers did everything I asked. The bed had wheels at the bottom and they took them off and made it a platform bed which was what I wanted. But when I had the remote and asked the the guy for instructions, he didn't know too much about the remote and the instructions he gave me had nothing to do with it. I had to set up the bed myself. I can use it but when I get in bed and I need to set it to where I'm comfortable, I don't know how to do it. So that's something they could do better. If you get a bed with the remote, they should give you the instructions. I'm going to have to call and ask them about that when I get around to it. Other than that, my experience with Mattress Firm was fabulous.

    I have two kids who are married and I needed them to have a bed whenever they come home. I then went to Mattress Firm and their saleslady greeted me right away and was super friendly and easy to talk to. She talked to me and I told her exactly what I was looking for.     I ordered two beds at the Mattress Firm store on the upper west side of Manhattan. When the beds were delivered one of the frames had a broken wheel. I bought the beds two weeks before Thanksgiving so our guest room would be ready for company. When I called the store they told me the only person who could help me was my salesperson.     The worst sales experience of my life! Walked into a Mattress Firm store in Kingston, NY and was greeted by their sales rep named Debra ** who showed me several firm mattresses in the $1,200-$1,500 price range and then offered a clearance mattress for $499 that was supposed to be brand new. We purchased the mattress, threw it in the back of a pick-up truck and drove off. On the way back I noticed the bag the mattress was in read PRE-OWNED. I immediately pulled over and called Debra who assured me that the mattress was indeed brand new but that the warehouse simply "ran out of new bags" and used that one instead.

    I didn't think much of it until several days later when our guests arrived and we unpacked the mattress only to find a sticker attached to the mattress that read in part: "SECOND HAND - USED BEDDING." I then drove back to the store and speak with Debra who changed her tune and lied for the third time that she had warned us the mattress was used. WOW! Really, in 2017 salespeople can do this and get away with it?! UNREAL!

When we walked into the store this time, there were about 30 different mattresses so we got overwhelmed. They asked questions to lead us towards the type of mattress that we liked - what type of mattress we had, what was driving us to come in and look at it and consider a new mattress, how old our mattress was, and if were there any issues in terms of body aches. Based on that, they led us to a couple of different options in different price-points. We tried out a few different ones and decided which way to go.

    The delivery was pretty straightforward. I got an alert as to when they were coming but when they came, it was a different time. They were fairly late in comparison to the time we were given. Outside of that, it was pretty harmless. They took the old mattress away. They then set up the new box spring and mattress. They also took all the packing material away with them. It was done in about 20 minutes max. However, our second experience was not as positive as our first one. It was the same store but a much colder sort of impersonal experience. As a result, we went to a different place and bought a different mattress that we felt was a higher grade for a better pricing. We would certainly go back to Mattress Firm and consider them if we need additional mattresses or pillows, but we would be shopping around.

    I like Serta so I decided to get a hybrid iSeries Serta queen size mattress from Mattress Firm. I also got two twin memory foam mattresses for my daughter's bunk beds. I love her bed, but I can't sleep on mine because Mattress Firm brought me the wrong set of box spring. And I've been waiting a week and a half. It's been a nightmare. I've got my mattress on top of a box spring that it doesn't go with, so I'm sleeping in the guest room.

    The sales rep I worked with was great. I ordered the wrong size initially, and they were fantastic as far as switching it and finding me the right one. The experience started off great but it went way downhill. They forgot to take away the king size box spring and to bring me a queen size box spring. When I called the store, the rep apologized for his mistake and scheduled delivery for Tuesday. So, Tuesday I called to confirm, they looked and the rep didn't do it right so I didn't get on the schedule. He can't come until Saturday. So, now I'm still waiting. It's awful at this point, and I'm frustrated.

We had gone to JR Furniture before that and the guy didn’t know anything except to tell us that there were a hundred pounds of dead skin on our mattress and that it’s time to buy a new one. So, we went over and saw Mark and he was talking about the coils. My husband was there during the delivery of the mattress and he was very happy.     I gave Mattress Firm a shot because Sleepy's sucked and I needed a company that has more mattresses than just a couple that you will find in stores like Macy's. I then got a Beautyrest which is a really hard mattress with latex in it. My back had been suffering with the Tempur-Pedic that I had and my Beautyrest is a lot better than that. I really enjoyed my first night with it. I’m sleeping much better and I’m very pleased with it. It’s definitely the right one for me.

    There were little complications but John, my rep, worked for me. He really helped me out tremendously and that made me happy. The one that I had bought from the outlet turned out to be damaged so I had to go and pick up another one at a new location myself. And then they delivered the box and the frame for me. The delivery team was okay, but the box they brought me that was also an outlet piece was damaged really bad. I wasn’t happy about that. I didn’t get a chance to really see it because I didn’t want to be in their way. When I tried to look it over, they were rushing to get out of there. But it wasn’t terrible and I still gave them 20 bucks for it. I paid for delivery, but nothing was really delivered but the metal frame and I paid $79 for that. That I was disappointed with because I had to pick up both freaking mattress and freaking frame. It would’ve been nice if I could’ve gotten a refund with the delivery because I got it myself.

    I bought from Mattress Firm because of the convenience of location. I got a queen mattress from them and it's a good mattress. I like it and it's firm. It's worth the money but my wife will disagree with me. She thinks it's overpriced. But we have a two-year-old and a newborn and I know sometimes she would have restless nights and she usually had to go sleep in the other room.     I purchased a mattress set online with a chat agent, I was not happy with the mattress after it was delivered, too soft, I called right away to try to exchange it for one I happened to see in the store, I was unable to get ANYONE online to respond to my request, even after multiple phone calls, they still did not return any of my calls. Finally, I gave up and contacted them to return the set and refund my account. They charged me to return the set which is a fee they should have comped me due to the poor customer service I had thus far received.

    My initial goal was not to get a refund but to exchange, however, due to the extremely poor customer service I had so far received, I decided to cancel the order as any satisfactory future experience with this company did not bode well.     The salesperson from Mattress Firm, Jared, was very accommodating and reassured me that if I wasn’t happy with the mattress, it could be returned within the window of return. I'm trying to get used to the mattress. I called Jared and told him it’s a little bit too firm for me. He said to give it a little bit more time so I’m getting there. The store was great but the delivery was awful. I was not happy with it. It was October 20th and I was moving into my new place, so I had my movers there. The delivery team from Mattress Firm pulled up to deliver the mattress. They come in and the first thing they did was to say they couldn't get the mattress up those stairs. They said it was too shallow and I got a chandelier there. My chandelier is a light fixture. It is not a gigantic one. The movers moved my coiled king mattress in and the delivery guy still insisted that he could not get it in.

    So I called the store and Jared happened not to be there. Jim was helping me and he couldn’t understand. So they called the warehouse and they called me back. It was just chaos. My movers even offered to help them move their mattress in. They said, “Well, if we do that then you’re going to be responsible if anything breaks." They also said that if there’s anything damaged, I'm not going to be able to return it. To make a long story short, they ended up leaving. Jim called me back and asked me will I let them deliver it if he'd have them come back. I said yes so they turned around about half an hour later. They still wanted me to sign the piece of paper that stated if there was any damage to the mattress, I can’t return it. There was now way I was doing that. They told me “Well, that’s what they said you were going to do.” I told them I did not agree to sign anything so they ended up leaving again. It was a fiasco.

    That was a Friday and Jared called me on Saturday and asked if he could get two different delivery guys out, will I accept it. I told him yeah! So, he ended up coming out. By the time Jared got there from the store, the two guys had the mattress up there within 10 minutes at the most. They laid out the red carpet and up the stairs they went. It was not very good for Mattress Firm because I was ready to cancel the mattress and go buy another one someplace else. I had to sleep on the old mattress for a night.

    I bought my mattress on 9/4 during the Labor Day weekend sale. The Salesperson gave me a free base, a mattress protector and bunkie board. Since using the mattress, I have severe back and neck pain. Mattress Firm will not refund my money and take back the mattress and free items. The manager is stating that since I received "free" items with the purchase of the mattress, that I have to pay for the free items because they are "non-refundable". This is not stated anywhere on my agreement. The return policy is 120 days from delivery date if not completely satisfied. I have been trying to get in contact with a Regional Manager since Saturday, have called corporate, emailed corporate and no one will call me back. This is by far the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and going to smalls claims court.

    I originally contacted Mattress Firm's online sales to purchase an adjustable bed because I knew what I wanted basically, the online sales associate was friendly enough but mislead me regarding financing (60 months 0%), I applied and was approved for a $6,500 limit, I ordered 2 twin XL bases and 2 twin XL mattresses and 2 sets of sheets. After placing the order I received 2 separate confirmations. One telling me the bed delivery date and another telling me the sheets would be delivered via FedEx. So far so good but when the bed arrived there was a mattress missing and no indication that we ordered 2 or when the second one would arrive so I declined to accept the order.

    When I contacted the sales associate I was informed it would be nearly a month before the second mattress would arrive so I agreed to order 2 different mattresses at a higher price but told I would be given a credit. To make a long story short, instead of subtracting the credit Mattress Firm added it to my total and actual delivery was 4 days later than what we agreed to, after delivery Mattress Firm double billed my account by over $5,000 and will not work with me to resolve the overcharge issue or adding rather than subtracting the credit they promised me, all I get is the run around and right now my account shows nearly $4,000 over limit which might well damage my credit.

    I have filed a complaint with the Indiana Attorney General and still waiting to see if they try to charge me over $10,000 for a $5,000 bed I could have purchased elsewhere for about $3,800. This isn't sour grapes, this story is honest and factual. On a positive note the bed is "OK". I might enjoy it more if I could sleep instead of trying to clear this issue up to no avail. I will never do business with these people again. That's for sure.

    I had the cheap version of a Tempur-Pedic that was really hurting my back. I had seen Mattress Firm a couple of months ago so I thought I'd give them a try. Their price was better than that of another store that I went to before and the rep was really attentive and helpful. He was there covering for another store, but he seemed to make the best of it because he told me more than what I thought I wanted to know. The way the guy helped me made it seem like the bed was good and he made me want to spend more money. I got the mattress, the bed frame, and the adjustable base. The delivery experience was where it got a little negative because the base of the bed was sticking out of the box. The guys were in a rush because they had a lot of other deliveries so I told them to put it in front of the house and I would take care of the rest. It was a little harder to get it to my room because it was broken already so I had to carry it in two pieces.

    The base must have fallen or it could probably be due to the way that it was positioned in the truck. I hoped it was not scratched or dented to where I wouldn't be able to put it together, but it came out fine. They were supposed to bring the bed one day, but they told me they would bring it the next day so they refunded me $54 because of it. I've had that Mattress Firm bed for almost three and a half years now so we're still readjusting to the springs in the bed. I've been getting way better sleep in the Mattress Firm bed than I did before, unlike with the old bed where it felt like I was sleeping on cement.

    I had seen Mattress Firm before and they were right in the Home Depot and the food store so I stopped there and the rep gave me what I needed. I told him I wanted the least expensive mattress I can get. And then I asked about the box springs so I got the box springs too. I wanted one that could reverse but they're not making them now. The price was very reasonable and it was like a miracle to get it that cheap. The sheets of some mattresses would fit over and it's terrible. The last one I bought was eight inches deep and I didn't want one that deep. And then it will cost you $40 for a new set of sheets that would fit them. So, this Mattress Firm is wonderful for the price and very comfortable. The experience was perfect. They delivered it so fast and were so helpful. I would recommend them.

    We went to Mattress Firm and looked for the best mattress. We got the most expensive one and the salesperson was really nice. But we didn't like the mattress that much as it was the wrong firmness and we went back on the fourth day because we disliked it a lot. We had the same salesperson but this time he wasn't very polite and told us that we had to keep the mattress for a month. We went back to the store a couple of days ago and upgraded our mattress so we ended up spending $8,000 or more. The salesperson was very polite about that. The delivery of the mattresses was fine too although one was very friendly while the other one wasn’t. The mattress we have now is comfortable and hopefully, it'll last.

    My daughter-in-law has a bed from Mattress Firm. She's also bought my grandchildren their beds, and they looked really comfortable. The one that I had was a very small twin size, and I needed a better bed because it was hurting my back. I decided I'd go to Mattress Firm because they treated my daughter-in-law so nicely. I was very happy that I did.

    The sales rep, Matt, was awesome. He's the kind of salesman that you want to walk to and feel comfortable with. He didn't push and was helpful. He let me test out what kind of a mattress I needed and made sure that I was comfortable with it. I really enjoyed the experience with him. I love my mattress.     Bought 2 NEW mattress sets in Orland Park, IL. They delivered a used mattress!!? Not at all what I believed I was purchasing, salesperson did not say it was used. Said he was price matching the other store we went to! I would never buy a used mattress! It was never explained or expressed as a used product. Spoke with store manager, area manager and store associate and was told different things by each. Store manager said we had 3 options to resolve the issue, to keep it, return it, or pay more for a new one. We then received a call from sales associate and based on the $600 more he said I'd need to pay. I told him to just return everything.

    Next morning area manager says, "It was a misunderstanding. You can't return the used mattress for refund because it was bought used!"     Mattress Firm is a quality store and I would definitely recommend them. I bought one mattress from them a couple of months ago but it was too hard so I went in and changed it to a new mattress that was delivered recently. Mattress Firm called and left an automated message that the delivery would be between 11:00 and 1:00 on a Monday. It was fine because I planned on leaving work at 10:30 but seven minutes after 10:00, I get a phone call that says that they’ll get here in 15 minutes. It takes me half an hour to get from work to home so I was little miffed about that but the driver called in my travel and said he’ll wait because I told him I’ll be home in 10 to 12 minutes. The gentlemen that delivered the mattress were prompt, courteous and very personable. But I told them they need to learn how to smile a little so their day will go a lot easier.

Their salesperson was very helpful and seemed knowledgeable about mattresses. She brought us around and they have a color-coding thing which was helpful there. She found out what color code we liked most, and showed us things in and around our price range, and in that level of mattress.     We rushed to the closest mattress store after damage to our winter condo. We bought a mattress (no complaint so far) but the store manager charged us three times. He made a mistake with his software but the Mattress Firm program allowed three charges for the same transaction to go through. The local store guy is helpless and THERE IS NO WAY TO GET MATTRESS FIRM CORPORATE to answer the phone. BBB gives them a bum rap. If I do not get the extra charges dropped I will file a claim with Illinois Consumer Fraud.

    We got a Split King and two bases from Mattress Firm but we would never buy from them again. When we went to their store, the rep we dealt with was new and alone in the store. After we had decided what we wanted, it took him over an hour to try to enter our order. We were catching his mistakes. He promised us a certain delivery date and then said, "Oh, that can't happen," and then went on a different delivery date. Then, a few days later, we got a call from someone else saying he ordered all the wrong stuff. Now I've corrected that and their delivery date has to change so that's going to push out again further. Then, some of the parts aren't available, so we got an upgrade at that point on bases. The stuff got delivered and one of the bases wouldn't work.

    We were told by the delivery people that they were reporting it, and someone would call us the next day. But we didn't get called, so I called and nobody knew anything about it. They're like, "Well, if it's just the remote, we need to send another truck out." They sent a 40-foot truck out to fix our remote, and they couldn't fix it. Then, we had to call back again, because the delivery people weren't handling any of this. They were like, "Well, why didn't they switch out a base." This isn't our issue and what are they talking about them switching out a base, we were told the remote was broken, and we don't understand why they sent a 40-foot truck out here for a remote.

    They had to send the truck out again, with new bases on it, which finally got it resolved. Our salesperson had told us that all of the beds have the pieces on them for a headboard, which then we found out also wasn't the case and that was an add-on. We got two free pillows and we had just bought pillows. They also ended up saying, "Oh come on down and we will have the headboard mount for you," and they gave us those for us to install. Our experience was about the worst you could get. The guy that we worked with should not be selling anything to anyone.

    I had a very good experience with Mattress Firm. I bought a queen-size Serta mattress with medium firmness. The rep was very good and gave me a good deal on the mattress. He was courteous and kind. The delivery team called and said they would get here between 5 and 7. They got here at 6 o'clock and did an excellent job. It was good that they asked me if I wanted to take the plastic off since I didn't want to take it off. The mattress is comfortable and is a lot better for me than my old one.     I had been looking at Mattress Firm’s massage chair, the Presidential, at every fair I go to for the past six years. It's awesome; it's black, leather and bells and whistles with the Bluetooth speaker. It was a luxury item that I could have walked by another year at the fair but Pierre, the sales rep, helped me and my boyfriend make the decision to buy it this time. He’s a very nice guy, let us try the chair and kept coming back to turn it back on for us. He was very experienced into how to get us comfortable and relaxed.

    My husband and I purchased a Serta I Comfort Visionary mattress and box spring set in August 2014 and in less than 3 three years noticed that the mattress was sagging in the middle by almost 4". I filed an online claim and was told it was denied because the foundation support did not meet the manufacturer's requirements. We purchased the set from Sleepy's and were told nothing about replacing the foundation just the box spring to meet warranty requirements. The set was delivered and installed by Sleepy's and during that time also we were told nothing about the foundation not meeting manufacturers recommendations. In fact we weren't even given the warranty information. Mattress Firm who took over Sleepy's will not accept any responsibility for the sagging mattress and boxspring.

    Now as a consumer who is not an expert on beds I rely on the advice of the firms representative to make a purchase. If I had been advised of the requirements I would have purchased a foundation that met the manufacturer's warranty. Even the installers should have the knowledge to advise a consumer that the delivery and set up cannot be completed as the foundation would void the warranty. The first I ever heard of a change in the foundation/frame requirements for mattresses was from the Mattress firm customer representative I spoke to today. Now isn't this important information that a store salesman should be aware of and advise his customers of? especially as the consumer is looking for their expertise for such an important and expensive purchase?

    So after just 3 years my husband and I are left with sore backs, necks and shoulders, sleepless nights and all because of a useless bed set that we paid over $2000 for and the only thing Mattress Firm can offer is a 20% coupon off a new purchase. Really! Quite honestly I am so disappointed that I regret ever having shopped at Sleepy's (Mattress Firm) and am unlikely to ever shop at any of their stores for myself or other members of my family or recommend them to anyone that I know.

It wasn't the cheapest one they had but it wasn't in the store so they had to order it. My sister-in-law bought one of the foam ones but it was too soft.     I have been sleeping in a recliner for 25 years, and I have some physical ailments that I can't lay down very well. My wife had some breathing problems, so I convinced her to get an adjustable bed from Mattress Firm, which is just across the street from our house. Their Sealy is the most comfortable thing I've ever laid on. I'm getting one for myself in my room because I get up and down all night.     Waiting on the "Love your Mattress Guarantee" - I spent 45 minutes unmaking and tearing apart my bed to take multiple pictures so I could file a claim. How Mattress Firm can accurately assess the quality of this mattress based on me unmaking my bed and using a paper measurer and a broomstick is a mystery to me? The issue is sinking deep into the bed when we lay down and feeling springs. This does not seem right based on the cost of this product. I was not pleased with this mattress since the beginning but was going to give it the 120 days the store told me I had (and suggested I give it), in case it needed to be broken in. When I called to return it they said it was only a 100-day guarantee (as stamped on my paperwork), however when we bought it, they told us even though it was stamped with 100 days, it was changing to 120 days and that was our return time.

    Well the store did not honor that and now I am stuck with an awful and expensive mattress. Also, when I called my salesman and told him it was uncomfortable and I felt springs in my back and side he told me that the mattress I bought was not made with springs so I should not feel them, however when I told a different sales associate this a couple of weeks ago he told me my mattress does have springs?! I purchased a Beautyrest Black Hybrid Alcove mattress and Beautyrest usually has good products. I have also NEVER considered returning a mattress, so this is not something I typically do, nor want to be inconvenienced to do, but this mattress is just that bad. My husband and I actually prefer to sleep on our 5-year-old's twin mattress that was $400 vs our $2500 king bed! Please help!

    While at the LA county Fair my husband and decided to look at a Mattress at the Mattress firm booth. We were looking to buy but were not ready to make an immediate decision. Mitchell who said he was a “manager” told us all the amazing deals and benefits we would receive. It sounded Great! So we proceeded to get a QUOTE. While in the process my mother was with us and wanted to “try” completely not in the market. She was ok to see if any clearance mattresses fit her needs. She gave Mitchell her information as well and agreed to get a quote on something he found and would contact her the next day. Mitchell never contacted us back, ran ALL of our credits, opened a credit card and scheduled a bed to be delivered in my mother’s name. We did not sign anything. We did not approve anything. He ducked our calls and text messages never to be heard from again.

    My mother received no compassion from Mattress Firm, yet with much persistence got her issue handled and the delivery canceled. A month later my husband and I decided to just walk into a Mattress Firm as we never had the chance to see all they had to offer. Found our mattress in the store, with adjustable base... The store manager quoted us at $2000 LESS!!! What a rip off from the fair. Definitely cannot trust Mattress Firm and their employees. We love the Mattress but Cannot trust the company.

    Salesperson Pattie was very rude to me. I had wanted to return the mattress and adjustable base after 30 days, she insisted I keep it for 90 days and then came up with 120 days. By this time I was miserable and fed up. I went to the store Pattie was on vacation and I talked to sales person Jules. Who informed me I could swap out the mattress. She let me to a mattress, I told her it was too flat. She insisted it would be perfect for me to try it. I did. I called her back and told her this mattress will not work for me.

    I went into the store spoke to Jules and she said I could get full refund. Follow up spoke to Brittany at same Trussville store. Asked her about returning mattress. She told me to SHUT UP AND LISTEN and let her tell me what she can do for me. I listened and was very insulted by what she did. I request someone from Mattress Firm Headquarters to contact me.     I ordered a mattress and bed frame online. The mattress is fine however the bed frame does not work with the headboard. I called to inquire about returning the frame and was told that frames are considered accessories and are non-returnable. How was I supposed to know this? They will take mattresses back but not a frame that was delivered less than 3 days ago?? Their policies seem to be outdated and not clearly communicated to the consumer.

    I purchased a mattress and when it arrived it was damaged. I worked with the local salesperson and he arranged an exchange. The replacement was soiled. Again I waited for the exchange. The third replacement again was damaged. There was a seam protruding on one side of the mattress making it feel lumpy. The salesman arranged the complete return. This went on and on for several weeks. Each time I waited for the process to work itself out hopeful all would work out. I was more than patient thinking this would be handled professionally.

    However, while I worked internally with the salesperson and I had not realized the several returns would not be transacted over a register. By not processing my returns promptly it appeared I was not making payment for the mattress and it was negatively reporting on my credit report. This is totally unfair and now I have to deal with getting the negative information removed. It is such a waste of time working through this when I patiently waited for weeks to straighten this out. This never should have happened when the company markets themselves as having the highest degree of customer service.
