I love this store. They keep best products and mattresses. The lady is very polite. I went to check out prices. She is very knowledgeable and the guy also, very clean and also professional. I would recommend to everyone to go to this location.

The Mattress Firm in Edgewater, NJ should re-evaluate its staff. They are disgustingly rude. They are quick to say that is not their job or "I am just a sales person". They truly sit and argue with you on the phone when it's paying customers such as myself that keep them employed. They lack customer service and this has been a repeated and constant issue with this store. I cannot speak for all stores except THIS ONE. However, reaching customer service or corporate is a joke. I am better off reaching a Unicorn because when dialing in the recorded machine directs you to go online for any issues and disconnects the call. HORRIBLE!!!

I was so excited after trying the Purple Hybrid Premier 4 mattress. I tested at a home show and twice at the Mattress Firm showroom. It was far outside of my abilities to afford at over $4,000 but I was told a refurbished mattress could be available at a discounted price. I saved for a long time and was told this mattress was finally available at $2,800 from the outlet. I had no idea they don't warranty from the outlet and I couldn't lay on it before I received it.
The mattress I got has no support, it's lumpy and not the quality I experienced in their showroom. I was told I had to use it 60 days for it to be a good mattress but after 4 days I am in so much pain I can't last that long. It has brought back my sacroiliac joint disfunction, my neck and shoulders are in agonizing pain, and my head is killing me which also has caused nausea. I haven't slept more than 5 hours each night. I am stuck with this horrible trash and it's too heavy for me to move. I don't have enough money to purchase another mattress. I am going to sleep on a blow up mattress just so I can get some sleep and figure out how I am going to get rid of this horrible mattress. I look at my bed and I want to cry.

The WORST…DON’T SHOP HERE! The customer service is terrible and they do not care about you. We went in to look for a new bed on 5/13. There was an option for a loan so we gave our sales guy, Markus, our information to check our credit to see how much we qualified for. We ended up paying for it in full. The deal itself seemed good, free sheets, free mattress protector and a discount on the mattress. It would take about 3 weeks to come in and the sheets and pad would be delivered with the mattress. Seemed great. 2 weeks later, to my surprise, I get an email about a new loan account in my name! I had to fight with Transunion to close that account and take it off my credit report.
The bed was supposed to come in the next week except there was some type of company glitch and the order for the bed was not processed. I was upset about my bed and having to fight my credit report which I expressed to Markus. I had been texting back and forth with Markus on what can be done to fix these issues. He was supposed to check with his store manager on options. When Markus got back to me said that he could offer me $300 out of his commission. The company said he exceeded his limit on gift and discounts so they will not be able to help even though it was Mattress Firms fault the order wasn’t processed!! What kind of company would make their employee do that???
Fast forward to delivery day. Delivery guys forgot the sheets and mattress pad at the store. Insert eye roll! As I was double checking the order to what was delivered, I noticed we were charged for the mattress pad! I also get email, this time with Experian, about a new account opened in my name!! There had been issues with these guys every step of the way. I finally called the store and had Markus put me on speaker so that the store manager could hear me as well. I just needed someone to listen. The store manager, MATT is a complete JOKE!!!! He didn’t even once apologize for many inconveniences I experienced with this company. With his tone and lack of understanding about the situation, I honestly don’t know how he is a manager!! Please save yourself the headache and go somewhere else even though the deal may seem great!!!

BUYER BEWARE: I purchased a box spring from here and it didn’t fit down my basement. The box spring was $200, and they charged me $120 to return it. Complete rip off! They claim this info is on their website, but I can assure you I didn’t not see this in the payment confirmation page or in the confirmation email.

UPDATED 07/17/2023: This is an update. Can't find original review to update. Company finally refunded for the bed base less %20 and $99 fees. Total loss for us was $400 returning mattress and bed base combo. It took many bad reviews and time to get this company to do the right thing. Customers should not have to go through all this to get a refund. Plenty of other companies to buy a bed from.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: We purchased a mattress, and adjustable base on their 120 day trial. After calls and reviews finally got refunded in full for mattress, but they will not refund base, citing no room in their warehouse.

Stay away from them! Their product is not the cheapest yet also not the highest quality. Within 3 months the mattress started sagging. Claimed it twice within the first year as it is getting worse (and only used by occasional visitors), and their customer service system is automated with an automatic response, that it is within manufacturer limits, and your case gets closed. No way to speak to them or get a proper assessment or complaint until you pay! Yes, you have to pay for them to check their low quality product! Their service is as poor as their quality. Stay away from this merchant, if you value your investment!

I went to Mattress Firm to buy a couple beds for my wife and I and for my son after we received our taxes. The sales lady whose name is Kristina sold us a bed and she mention it was a outlet bed and it was for a good price, so we bought the bed. When we showed up to pick up the bed we found out for the first time that she actually sold us a used bed, the sales lady never mentioned that it was used. We had to rent a Uhaul to go pick up the bed and on the way to get it, we dropped off the bed we were using at my aunt's because she needed a new bed. The salesmen at the store on Oracle where we picked it up did offer us our money back, but he also talked us into getting the bed saying it will be fine.
We trusted them and we regretfully accepted the bed because we had just given away our current bed and we had rented the Uhaul, not to mention it was really far from my apartment. Right away we noticed problems with the bed. When you sit on it it goes all the way day and the bed was lumpy in just a few days and we started waking up with extreme back pain.
When we called the store to let them know they told us they could not exchange to refund a used bed. We did not even know the bed was used until we went to pick it up, Kristina was not transparent with us and it was obvious she just wanted to make the sale. I think the policy is wrong and it’s a way to get rid of a used bed that someone returned and did not want and sell it for half price to make it look more desirable, but what if the bed is defective? Which those beds that our returned most likely ours. And who’s gonna take the deal?
A family that probably have too much money and they trust Mattress Firm to only find out they bought a bed that was no good and they stay stuck with it. But like I said Kristina never mentioned the bed was used, she just said it was a outlet bed and my wife and I have had so much back problems since. We wake up in extreme pain in our backs every time we sleep on it. Most of the time we sleep on the couch’s. My wife and I can’t even sleep in our bed, that we paid $700 for, because it’s too painful. Same on Mattress for taking advantage of a young hard-working couple. I’m a cook at a restaurant with 3 children. They don’t care about the wrong they are doing, they just care about getting the sale. That’s greed to the fullest.

I wish I could give a negative rating here. I bought one of Sleepy’s hybrid mattresses, which was poor quality. We returned to the shop and bought another one while replacing Sleepy’s hybrid mattress. Now they cannot deliver the replacement even after completing all their formalities, paying fees, etc. Today they called me for the third time, saying they would like to reschedule the delivery. Previously also bought a pair of hybrid mattresses, but they delivered me faulty mattresses. I had to return. I made a mistake by going back to them again. Stay away from this Mattress Firm company if you don’t want to be harassed.

From visiting a store to ordering online to delivery, the whole experience was pleasantly easy, straightforward and swift. Made the purchase on a Saturday. Was delivered by 10am on Sunday. All the individuals from Mattress Firm were professional, friendly and went over and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered and I was a happy customer. The mattress I purchased is great, when I was pondering my choice, I read reviews of the mattress, a mattress made exclusively for mattress firm by a leading manufacturer, and the critical reviews I can say are unfounded, the mattress is great!

Purchased 2 queen mattresses for my son's 18 months ago (mattresses have 10 year warranty). 1 mattress immediately warped and needed replacement. That took a phone call. Recently my other son's mattress warped so bad, he can no longer sleep on it. I put in a claim which can only be submitted "on line". I followed this long process only to be told days later that I need to send in more pics of the mattress support. Meaning the furniture it sits on. As well as all four corners of the mattress in the same pic. This is 100% a ploy to get people to just give up. They are relying on pics instead of sending out a proffessional to look at it. They have you removing mattresses and bedding to submit pics. This entire process is disgusting while my son sleeps on the floor awaiting new mattress due to back hurting.

Totally negative experience. MF sells defective mattresses that are unfit for their intended purpose, and they engage in unfair and deceptive business practices. Within months, the mattress begins to sag and disintegrate beneath you. Returned the first bed and exchanged it within 120 days but the second bed was no better. To submit a claim under the "warranty", they ask you to jump through hoops with a useless paper gauge, take photos of everything, etc. that won't necessarily depict the issue with the mattress.
Their warranty process is designed to fail. They automatically deny almost all claims. I had to sue them in small claims court to get them to the bargaining table. First, they offered store credit but I told them I never wanted to do business with them again. They finally offered a full refund but inserted a confidentiality clause and non-disparagement clause into the settlement agreement. I crossed it out, which they said voided the proposed settlement so I guess I am not bound by the terms anyway. Scheduled for trial in late May, so we will see what happens. Would give them negative 5 stars if that were an option. Go elsewhere for your bedding needs. Avoid MF like the plague...

Stay away: Mattress Firm & Sleep Experts & Synchrony Bank financing. 2 purchases & salesman set up 2 plans telling us monthly payment w/ no % interest would pay off at end of promotion. Not so! 29.99%. What the Mafia used to charge. Be aware and don't trust either of these companies. CHECK CAREFULLY.

I have bought a mattress from Mattress Firm outlet back in March 21st for $450. It was Delivered March 26th. Before I bought it David and Tiffany from different store sell sleep expert convinced me to buy Serta Perfect sleeper Palm Coast (Plush). They showed me similar type of mattress (Charlotte and said Palm coast would be firmer than that) but not the same one. The outlet has a non refund non exchange policy. So I asked them whether those outlet mattresses has any issues or not, They said they are in perfect condition otherwise they would not have put it for selling. From the first day it felt like Ultra Plush instead of Plush, after 2 weeks of usage it started sinking (1.5 inch dip already) in the middle really bad. I have started a bad back pain due to this.
I called Tiffany and she was really rude to me. I felt like she was a different person than who she was before. She asked me to buy very expensive base support which I can't afford. My only concern is is any mattress is unusable, even though it is from Outlet, why do they have a policy of nonrefund or nonexchange? If it's usable and preowned, that's when they should sell it as nonrefund non exchange policy rule. Another thing is they asked me to buy a $1499 mattress to compensate my $450 loss!!! And they are saying I am getting $1499 mattress for just $1000, and it's a great deal!!!! How ridiculous is that? This is a robbery and insane bad Marketing from Mattress Firm. Not sure how can I get my money back.

Hello. I am emailing to send a complaint on delivery and store error. My husband went to your Capitol Hill location in Seattle to purchase my mother who has spinal fracture a bed. The bed was supposed to be delivered over a week ago. Today after calling 5 different times and speaking to the manager at that location, who lacks customer service and professionalism tells me that the bed wasn't delivered due to an error on their behalf. My husband paid the mattress in full and the store rep had it short by a few cents. I am livid that my mother has had to sleep on the couch with her back hurting. And the lack of urgency from the team is upsetting. Why did it take for me to call so many times. At this point my husband is driving all the way to your warehouse in summer to pick up the bed (which is quite a distance from where we live - 1hr) since Mattress firm is incompetent to get the job they were paid for done.

We ordered a mattress for delivery. They showed up with no matress but wanted to take our old mattress, they said our new mattress will be delivered in 7 to 10 days. We called the store we purchased the mattress. Colton was so rude and treated us with zero respect. We canceled our order because of his behavior. Never shop here again.

We purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm an scheduled a delivery for saturday. The delivery from the warehouse went to the wrong side of town, they did not call or verify with us. We had another delivery scheduled for monday. I took time off and the warehouse again failed to deliver the mattress that we ordered. They have now said that they can't deliver it today. I verified the address in multiple map sites and the address is correct.

My son went to purchase a mattress from Mattress Firm in Danbury, CT. He was helped by Jennifer. She did nothing to give my son what he wanted. She was trying to sell him an expensive mattress and trying to say she was looking out for his needs. I talked my son into purchasing the same mattress he had purchased several years ago. Jennifer became rude when my son decided to purchase the least expensive mattress then waited for me to leave to go to restroom and she talked my son into purchasing a mattress pad that was over $100. Then proceeded to say that the accessories are not refundable. We were totally dissatisfied with this purchase and will never step foot into another Mattress Firm store ever again. My son was purchasing a mattress for his first apartment on a single person income and he was taken advantage of by Jennifer. What a disgrace!!!!

Am nearly 80 years old, arthritic, and in a rental due to flood loss at New Year's. Bought expensive mattress set from Watsonville store. Not told the mattress would arrive frozen. Let them take my old set and install new set. Bed features couldn't even be tested, the mattress hard as a rock. Nowhere to sleep until it thaws out. Company wouldn't help at all knowing I have nowhere to sleep.

PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY!! I had a decent experience purchasing my mattress at this location. However, the entire COMPANY is so SHADY. Less than a year ago I decided to purchase a mattress with the help of one of the In-Store Representatives. Hence, we paid over 4k for a product that would fit best for us. When the mattress arrived we realized it WASN'T as COMFORTABLE as the one we laid on at store, Hence we contacted customer services and was told we needed to break into the new mattress.
After a few months the mattress felt more comfortable, but not as quiet as we wanted it. Consequently, we thought we needed more than 120 days to break into our new mattress; More importantly, we can submit a warranty claim if we didn't like the mattress after the 120 trial period. This was one of the worst mistakes we've ever made. The mattress started to SAG after the 4TH MONTH, we started to have EXTREME BACK PAIN, & RESTLESS SLEEP. We've been at our worst since then. You'll think the warranty claim process would be an easy procedure, but NO! Luckily for us our mattress is defective, but if your mattress is DESTROYING YOUR BACK, AFFECTING your SLEEP PATTERNS or is UNCOMFORTABLE, the warranty claim WOULDN'T BE GRANTED. Moreover, We had to jump through hoops just to get a warranty claim approved, and finally after a few weeks of acting accordingly we received our approval letter.
This Warranty Claim Approval letter states they'll only give a store credit for the defective product. NO REFUNDS! My mattress has been financed, and If I decide to buy a mattress that cost less than the value of the defective product, then REMAINING CREDIT CANNOT be used to PAY DOWN the FINANCING. Which means I'll be over 4k in debt, but laying on a mattress that cost me about 2k worth of store credit & LOSE the remaining CREDIT or I can use the rest to purchase random accessories.
This company is so SHADY, they are 100% using DECEPTION to make sales, and they rather jump through then give a refund. The company needs to be more explicit about their warranty claims. Why can't we as a customer be informed prior to purchasing their product or at least before the 120 trial period ends that you'll only be granted an in store credit if a warranty claim is submitted and approved. NOT when I submit my claim and it get approved that I'm informed about NO REFUNDS, ONLY IN-STORE CREDIT, in-store credit is NON-TRANSFERABLE, ONLY 1 EXCHANGE is allowed, and if the next mattress is defective I'll have to go through another warranty claim and pay another $99.99 DELIVERY FEE and another 10% RESTOCK FEE. All this information should be disclosed to the customer prior to purchasing their products!
Now I'm a consumer who is stuck with a BACK BREAKING mattress with NO REFUNDS and a 4K DEBT on a credit card or I can make the decision to exchange my defective mattress to ANOTHER BACK BREAKING mattress and use my remaining credit to PURCHASE UNNECESSARY ACCESSORIES that will be thrown into a closet and forgotten. I still need to make a decision, but if this was a perfect world my CHOICE would be receiving a FULL REFUND instead of dealing with Mattress Firm Customer Service EVER AGAIN!!! PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY!!

We purchased a new Mattress and box spring at the Mattress Firm on 4312 S. college Ave. in Fort Collins, Colorado 80525. Our sales rep. was ** who did an amazing job with informing us about the different products available. We ended up buying an mattress and box spring set and also bought the Platinum Service for delivery. Everything went like clockwork when it came to the delivery. The delivery gentlemen were truly that!, wonderful from start to finish. ** and his co worker ** were very efficient and polite. Couldn't have asked for better service and delivery updates. We bought this mattress 6 months ago for what I consider a lot of money for someone like me, elderly and on a fixed income. The mattress is sagging terribly. I called the store I bought it at and they told me I can only put in for a warranty claim online and gave me the webpage address. Now I have 2 choices, I can do the claim myself, or have a rep come to examine the mattress for $89!!!. I chose to do it myself and started answering the questions to put it in motion.
The process is totally ridiculous to do. You have to take a plethora of pictures which requires you to actually remove the mattress from the bed to take an unobscured full picture of the box spring. If that is not enough, they then want you to remove the box spring to take a picture of the bed frame. They want all the legal do not remove tags pictures as well as other identifying pictures of the type and brand of mattress. Well The mattress is unbelievably heavy and at my age I am totally unable to lift it, never mind remove it. The box spring will be the same.
They rope you into PAYING for someone to come out and do these things for you for a mere $89 to verify their product is terrible and faulty. On a fixed income I do NOT have an extra dollar after my SS check comes, it hardly pays the bills. Now I am stuck with my back pain, degenerative disc disease because the mattress is totally uncomfortable and I wake up in more pain now than with my 20 year old mattress I had before. If you go to their site they falsely claim they have almost a 9.0 rating. If you want to verify that check that out the look at any other review site. This site gives them near a 1 star rating. I will NEVER buy anything from them again.

They sent movers to take it back.... They said it was stained. (It wasn't.) I had purchased a waterproof mattress cover they suggested. I then called the store I had purchased it from and asked what was going on? They sent movers out with my replacement mattress. As the movers had done the time before they called the warehouse who told them to find a stain and refuse replacement. The movers actually told me this was what the warehouse had them doing all day long. I am stuck with the had mattress... Don't make my mistake!

Harriet's outstanding customer service and informative voice was nothing less than exceptional in my purchase for a good night sleep. Not only did she maintain my ear with her knowledge, she created a platform of maintaining me as a forever Mattress Firm consumer! She didn't attempt to hassle my decision in making my purchase, she made it comfortable and I am lucky enough to have had an awesome experience with Mrs. **. EXCEPTIONAL LADY.

In early December of 2022 placed an order online for a mattress and it was suppose to come with a free pillow so we placed the order online for this mattress and the mattress was supposed to be delivered between 12/22-12/28. We got the pillow in about 4 days so on 01/03/2023 I called the place and asked them when should we be receiving this mattress, they then told me that there wasn't an order placed for the mattress so I said to them, "You mean to tell me that I paid $179 for a pillow?" I then said I would like a refund. The lady told me that they can't refund or return the pillow so needless to say I will NEVER order from this place again and I sure hope it will help somebody else out there that might have been thinking about doing the same.

We purchased an adjustable bed frame from Mattress Firm in November. The sales guy told us it was out of stock but guaranteed one for us by December 20. On December 18 I called and inquired about it and was told they would start searching for us one. They said they would call me back. I had to keep calling them back. They finally located us one and brought it to us and set it up on December 28. It was supposed to help with my husband’s snoring, bad back and other things. It did none of these things! We were told there is no returns so now we are stuck with an expensive bed that neither one of us can sleep on. Do not trust this store!

On November 2022 my husband and I went to try the Tempurpedic in the store. We made the mistake of purchasing the ProAdapt through them. We had the mattress 21 days and decided it was not for us as it did not feel the same as in the store.. We called to have the mattress returned and was told it would be a 500.00 restocking fee and 99.00 pickup fee. We were not told any of this information beforehand and did not know until we wanted to return the mattress. Customer beware of this shady outfit.

Mattress firm is the single most horrible company I have ever had the extreme misfortune to deal with. The sales staff are unaware of policies and will lie at the drop of a hat. Once the sale is made there is no customer service. The phone lines are for sales only, customer service requires chat that promises an escalation that will trigger a phone call that you grow old waiting for. The incompetence is staggering, I rue the day I made a purchase from this insane excuse for a company. Everything that is wrong with businesses today is wrapped up in one wretched, lying, feckless package. Mischarged grossly and after 6 weeks no resolution.

I ordered a mattress, never received it. Have a tracking number and somehow got lost. Try getting in touch with customer service is a joke. Can't call, only chat or email and then have to wait days for response. I'm going on over a month now trying to get my money back to no avail. Do not do business with them.

I purchased a Sleepy's mattress in Dec. 2021, after about 6 months the edge began to break down causing the mattress to sag and lean toward the outer edge. I when through the process to file a warranty claim and finally hear back that I have to contact the manufacturer since I am out of Mattress Firm delivery area. They then gave me the wrong manufacturer contact info. When I finally found the correct manufacturer, MLily, They state that they do not accept returns on any product sold through a individual company. So after months of trying to get my mattress replace, I am still stuck with an unusable mattress. As far as I am concerned, Mattress Firm is nothing but a scammer. I am considering legal action at this point, what other option do I have?

The reason I choose a middleman like Mattress Firm wasn't because they had great pricing (their sales specials are a joke), I choose them because I wanted 1 entity to deal with in case there was any problems with the bed and/or the adjustable base. That is why I gave these clowns nearly 4 grand of my money. Worse decision ever.
They failed from the very start; they didn't deliver on time (2 weeks late); the first crew didn't put the adjustable base together properly stating issues with the equipment, when the 2nd crew came a week a later, they said the 1st crew simply didn't connect it properly and there was nothing wrong the equipment. Neither crew left manuals or documentation. The store promised to mail it, nothing has been received as of yet.
The adjustable base stops working. I contact the customer support number for help during normal business hours only to be told support is done via web-based chat. There is no human support for issues related to the mattress and base they sold me. The web-based chat agent tells me Mattress Firm provides no support for the adjustable base I must contact the manufacturer. As I have no paperwork from Mattress Firm the manufacturer (Legget & Platt) cannot provide me with any support. Around and round we go... The absolute worse place to spend your money. You're better off buying a base directly from L&P with full warranty support, and a Mattress from a smaller local distributor than these clowns. Save yourself money and hassle.

Salesperson ordered incorrect size mattress protector, plus delivered wrong size frame. Waited half an hour to chat with online representative, then told they can't begin investigation until next day, so can't tell me when they think they'll send the right frame. Can't speak with a manager. Can't cancel order as they'll charge outrageous fees (even though it's their fault). Can't escalate issue as that will take 4-5 business days before they will possibly respond. I ordered one of the most expensive mattresses they sell - providing a correct frame should be simple and relatively inexpensive for them. Appalling how they treat their customers. I'll never order from them again.

We bought our mattress from them a little over a year ago, to be exact one year and a month ago. Fast forward to now, Mattress Firm customer service and the warranty department is a joke. We have had this mattress for a year and a month and the sagging in the middle is ridiculous. You are literally sleeping on top of each other. The material or the mattress itself is defective with poor workmanship and they refused to help us in anyway. Mattress firm warranty is a joke. I will never use them again and I suggest you do your research before you do too.

Yesterday, 11/12, my husband and I went to Mattress Firm on 45N and Parker to purchase a new mattress. I spoke to Kenyja the day before and was unable to show up the day. When we arrived we were immediately approached by the welcoming staff and asked for Kenyja. While we a waited we were shown the choice we made online and our questions were answered about it. Soon after Kenyja joined us with her expertise and assisted us with making an even better choice along with choosing the bedding we wanted, warranty, and showed us options we would not have otherwise known about. Mattress purchased was nothing like product on floor. Delivered mattress was totally hard, I returned to store a re-tried floor model which was comfortable. They kept telling me I was 'wrong'. They sold me a special mattress cover which made it harder, then they said it was the wrong cover. I did get them to take mattress back but they added various additional charges, NOT disclosed. One was SO wrong they did back off that weird fee. I did not get a close to respectable refund and was not pleased with the service.

I spent about an hour in the store trying out mattresses but kept coming back to the same one. The Salesperson, Kyarra was very engaging and very nice. I decided on the 12.25" Pressure Smart Mattress. Kyarra assured me this was a good mattress for someone like she or I, who have a little more in the hip area. I got the mattress delivered fairly quickly and the very first night on the mattress was pure hell! It felt like sleeping on concrete. Kyarra had advised that I would need to sleep on it a few weeks before it would be broken in, but I never expected it to be this uncomfortable.
When I went back to the store a 2nd time the store Manager confirmed I had the correct model and told me I needed to give it at least 6 weeks. I invested in a very expensive, but thick mattress pad and put 2 comforters between it and the mattress, but to no avail. I continued to toss and turn at night and wake very tired each morning. It has now been 7 weeks. I called today to return this slab. Mattress Firm charged me $353 in fees to return it. I am furious about that but will bite the bullet if it means I can finally sleep at night! Buyers BEWARE - You don't always get what you try out!

This was a terrible investment. DON'T DO IT!! It worked for less than a year and then stopped working and I cannot get anyone to help me fix it. It was not a cheap investment and they don't care once they have your money. I do regret this purchase. The mattress is fine. It's a purple mattress and I am happy with that. I didn't need to spend the extra grand (or whatever) for the adjustable base that only worked long enough for me to get used to it and then just stopped working. I called Mattress Firm in Walnut Creek (where I purchased it) and they said they could not help me. They gave me a ** 1-800 number to call that never answers. Now I am stuck with a stupid base that looks worse than the one I had before and had to get rid of for this "amazing" adjustable one that stopped working. So NO, I am not happy and would not buy anything from this place again... Proceed with caution. :/

The mattress is to hard. Can't put the adjustable base in a comfortable position to sleep. Feels like you are confined. Was lied to by sales people, cannot return bed or cancel contract. Now have $4000 bed that I can't use or sleep on, but still have to pay for it. Not to mention it also hurt my credit score. Now have a credit card for Mattress Firm to use to buy accessories. Don't need it, don't want it.

Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way. I purchased a top of the line mattress from Mattress Firm on Blossom Hill Rd and I was lied to and almost ripped off but thank God my bank returned all my money after I disputed the charges. Long story short, I was sold a defective $3500 Beautyrest mattress which was hard as a rock, blew my shoulder out and Lawrence from Blossom Hill store had the nerves to try and sell me another hard mattress. I needed a soft mattress and I inquired if I could buy a floor model and Lawrence lied and said they do not sell floor models because he was apparently only concerned about his commission or just making money.
I was smart and went to another Mattress Firm on Cottle Rd and was told that, "Yes we sell floor models" from an honest salesperson (rare these days) and was sold a top of the line floor model which is wonderful. Lawrence was pissed off and tried to charge me a $500 restock fee but fortunately my bank would not allow it and gave me every dime back. Shame on you Lawrence for trying to rip me off. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY FROM MATTRESS FIRM. ALSO DON'T EVEN ENTERTAIN LAWRENCE ON BLOSSOM HILL RD BECAUSE HE WILL TRY AND RIP YOU OFF.

Do not buy anything from this company. In May 2022 I went to the Mattress Firm 4030 Dowlen Rd. Suite 2 Beaumont Texas. I bought a queen mattress supposedly retail price 1800.00. Floor model on sale 999.99 and a adjustable frame. I put 500.00 down payment. Balance 1700. I received delivery June 2022. After sleeping on the bed 5 days I heard a loud pop and the mattress had sagged on the left side. I called the store. Was told the manager was on vacation. I called back when he returned. This man was rude. Not the same person the day when I went in to buy this bed and got a adjustable frame that was not free.
I needed this for medical reasons. I told him, "This is not the same mattress I picked out. This came from a warehouse in Houston." He said no. But I know what the delivery guys said. He said, "Nothing can be done." I said. "This mattress doesn't match the adjustable unit or you sold me a defective mattress." I am paying for a bed that had made my back pain worse. Now I have shoulder pain. I don't know what to do next. I went on Google and gave a detail review. The owner of this store goes in and removes bad reviews or pushes them down to the bottom where no one can see them.

After extensive research, we found the exact mattress we wanted. I ordered it over the phone with a local Mattress Firm store. The delivery date was set for several weeks later. Then, we were told the delivery date would be later. We tried to speak with someone in the main office in TX with no luck. The staff there didn't seem to know about our purchase Order #...nor did they care!
We were told the warehouse would text us the night before with an estimated delivery time. That didn't happen. The delivery driver was to call us when he was on the way, he did not! The Mattress Firm Order Tracking site was not updated, so that was worthless. In addition to the inept handling of the purchase order, the customer service (?) was the worst ever, in my decades of being a consumer!
Apparently, in his defense, the showrooms are understaffed and overworked. The management in TX is failing their "Sleep Experts" by not providing them with better customer service training. The very worst part of it all is that the mattress brand sales may be poor because of horrible customer service. Everyone needs sleep, but not with the avoidable hassle of interacting with the Mattress Firm personnel, who never once even apologized for the delays and repeated inconvenience. Never again will we ever purchase anything from Mattress Firm. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

I purchased three mattresses from this company all the same time. A queen, a full, and a king, Stern and Foster top-of-the-line. After four months of sleeping on it it began to sag. When I called about warranty they made me file a claim take pictures measure etc. Then they asked for the tags. The other two beds had tags displayed however this king did not. I absolutely did not remove the tag. I think it came without a tag or maybe it was even used and that’s why it’s sagging. Why would I leave tags on the other beds if I removed it as a claim I did or must have. They basically said cannot do anything without tags. Even though I have receipts and I only have slept on the mattress for four months. This is horrible customer service take your business elsewhere.

Buyer Beware! Mattress Firm does NOT honor their warranty! You file a claim, jump through hoops to try to show in pictures (because they say they have no one in your area to come to your home ...Chicagoland area!?!?) just for them to quickly deny your claim. Mattress sinks, we roll into each other like getting pulled under a boat, or wedged under the other person. Toss and turn all night just to wake with pain in back and shoulders. Four years left on warranty! When they sell you the product they reassure you that if you encounter any issues they have a solid warranty program that will protect you!! HOGWASH!

Back in 2/21 purchased a king size bed for $1100.00. Had to warranty it once which was fine because of severe sagging. New mattress delivered 1/2022. Again after being told that most likely wouldn't happen again we have sagging. Warrantied it and this time I was given 1100.00 store credit and we go to get the new one a different brand/style. I didn't have an issue paying the difference but they wouldn't give me the sale price of 1299. So I ended up paying another 1000. Instead of 200. Because they said they had to take the sale price away because it was a warranty. Then to top it off, I am now paying delivery charges for a third time!!! I have had it with Mattress Firm. I will never shop there again, I am cancelling their credit card, I am done with this company. And not to mention...As soon as we mentioned warranty the guy's whole demeanor changes and treated us like we weren't paying customers. Terrible service as well.

Ordered and paid for a mattress on 6/22 from the Pace FL location and it was delivered a few days later. Then they showed up the following week to deliver the exact same order in which I refused as we already had my order. Now they have turned it over to a collection agency saying I still owe them the same amount. Called the morning of 8/22 and spoke with the branch manager who was totally clueless. He stated he could see in their system where I had already paid for it and said he could get me in contact with someone in their finance department. I informed him this isn't my responsibility and it was theirs. The manager couldn't care less. No apologies, nothing. Just there to collect a paycheck. He couldn't manage his way out of a wet paper bag. Long and short, don't purchase from Mattress Firm.

This mattress feels exactly like an air mattress. We got ours over a month ago and I haven’t been able to have a good night sleep since. I am a healthy 125 lbs person with no chronic pain. Every morning I wake up sore in this bed all over and sometimes with sciatica pain. You definitely sink towards the middle at night. The sleep IQ is just a joke. It tracks my sleep from 6-11 pm??!! When I’m not even in bed. We called and told them that the bed squeaks.
A technician came to check it. We said that it feels and sounds like air mattress. He said yes! IT IS AN AIR MATTRESS! they should say that to everyone. This is an expensive air mattress. And there’s no free trial! The mattress was 1300$ and they deduct shipping fee when you return it which is total of 500$. I am so happy they delayed our delivery last minute and I canceled the frame that I ordered. I read everywhere that you can’t return that. Much different than what we tried in the store. And the worse part is, I wrote two reviews with low rating and they deleted them. I talked to customer service which told me they review them and delete spams. No wonder on their website their rating is above 4 and everywhere else it’s 2/5! They tricked me with this!

Purchased a Beautyrest, $1,000. After two weeks both sides were sagging. Mattress Firm will not discuss until you have slept on it 21 days. Now, 21 days and sagging even more. To return it is a 20% restocking fee (guess they are going to pawn it off on someone else) and a $99 fee. To exchange it is a 10% restocking fee and a $99 fee. This is obviously a defective mattress.
Customer service was rude and offered no help other than to file a warranty claim. To do so....take a picture of every tag (about 6 of them), take a picture of the mattress. Lay something long across the mattress, print out some paper measuring device to prove it sags more than 1 1/2 inch (they will not honor a warranty until it sags this much), take more photos. Remove the mattress from the frame and take a picture of the frame. Upload all into your warranty claim and they will review and get back to you within 30 days. They do not stand behind the merchandise they sell and I don't feel I should be financially penalized for a defective product.

Delivery day I received the phone call saying my delivery was 10 minutes away. The delivery truck pulls up, they sit in the truck 10 minutes or so then pull off. No delivery what so ever...I left work early to be able to be there for the delivery. I've spoken with 3 different salesperson and no one can give me a reason why this happened. So I have to inconvenience myself for 2 more days because of this incompetence. This is horrible customer service and nothing to accommodate the inconvenience. I've been a loyal customer to this company. I will never use Mattress Firm again. Really bad customer service.

We purchased a set of 2 Xl twin adjustable bases and mattresses from Mattress Firm, mainly to help manage snoring issues and different sleep needs. The beds were delivered on time but delivery techs were unskilled and rude, just wanted to drop the delivery and run. The mattresses are fine. The bases are not working as advertised. We have the beds for nearly 1 month and bases snoring response feature doesn’t work. We called the store and were told to call number in the back of remote control for tech support. We called and a tech came to the home who was as clueless as the delivery guys. We contacted the store manager who promised to escalate the situation. We’re still here waiting but no help has come. We may end up returning frames and buy cheaper options if this high end product won’t deliver and the support is non existent.

2 months ago I ordered a king sized bed frame. 3 weeks later I opened the arrived box to find it to be a queen sized frame. Upon perusal of my emails I discovered that Mattress Firm actually confirmed the wrong size on the order despite the clear order size. They tried to blame it on the manufacturer who shipped to me and told me to take it up with them; however, since I had the email clearly defining Mattress Firm's culpability they opened a case and asked me for pictures and description which I sent the same day. A week later nothing had been done. I emailed again. They thanked me for my patience. 2 weeks after that I emailed yet again and got the same missive thanking me for my patience but with no offer of help or a status update.
I opened another case citing all of the reference numbers to the first case. The next day they sent an email asking for the information and photos again. I sent it all and then opened a third case. I received back an email saying that they would contact the manufacturer. The Live chat for the 3rd case told me that something would be done within 24-48 hours but could not specify what. He said that they would contact the manufacturer. To me this looks like just another time delay with no action that will happen. As the fault was with Mattress firm, they needed to place the new order and make arrangements to pick up the incorrect item. They made no promises to do either. The said that they would "note my wish" for a refund. It looks as though I will have to dispute with my credit card company to get any action and will have to drive 40 miles for a store to dump the other frame. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE Crooks!

My husband and I walked into the Mattress store at 12182 HWY 17 Murrells inlet SC and our sleep expert ** was super. He helped us find the perfect twin set for our grandson who will be here in 2 weeks. Also he recommended an adjustable base for our king bed that we find very hard to get a good night sleep on. Can not wait to try it out. Delivery was the next day and the drivers were very courteous, polite and efficient. Could not do enough. I would recommend this location highly. We were very pleased.

We purchased a vaunted Mattress Firm adjustable Mattress Firm mattress back in October, now it's June and we've tried to reach corporate customer service almost since the beginning. Bed power cord frayed by vacuum cleaner. But it's under warranty only if you can reach them. Keep getting numbers from local office. No answer or you hold for hours before being cut off. This must be a corporate shell game. You spend lots of money, you get lots of promises but no satisfaction. Stay away. There are so many mattress firms (small m) out there. Do yourself a favor and pick another.

Last week I bought a high-end king Tempur-Pedic mattress, power base, warranty, etc., etc. package from Mattress Firm. Part of the package was a set king of Tempur-ProPerformance listed at a retail price of $279! For that price you expect a fabulous set of sheets. These were the worst sheets I have ever purchased! They should even sell such low quality sheets, especially for the price. They are made of a very thin, stretchy polyester that stretches like crazy. It wrinkles, doubles up and stretches into bunches under you all night long. It is the worst sleep experience ever. When I called to complain about the sheets, I was told they could not be returned or exchanged. If this is the type of product Mattress Firm promotes and pawns off on its customers, I wonder if everything else I bought was a scam also. Not happy.

The customer service is terrible and beware of the contract terms. I ordered two twin Xl mattresses with adjustable bases from the Stamford, CT, Summer street store. When the mattresses were delivered in Florida, one was shorter than the other, and one was wider than the other. On 5/2/22 at 12.50 p.m. I spoke to Scott at the Stamford Office. He promised to contact the salesperson Joseph and inform him. I did not hear from Joseph. So I called again on 5/4/22; I spoke to one Christina at the Stamford store telephone number. She told me that she would ask Joseph to contact me and said that if I wanted to exchange, I had to pay a fee of $99.00. It seems incredulous that they deliver mattresses that do not meet the dimensions in the order terms, their mistake, yet I must pay a fee of $99.00. She promised that she would ask Joseph to get in touch with me. Mr. Joseph, I am still waiting.

The delivery team damaged our ceiling bringing the new mattress up our stairs. Did not bring face masks. We had to supply them. The bed was too low. Did not adjust it. The salesperson did not tell about the height of the mattress. When we complained, the manager said that he could order extenders but did not offer us help to install them. We asked for our money back after 3 days. There is a 120 night free trial. We were surprised to find that it did not cover the remote controlled adjustable base. We are out $1299 for the base and a restocking fee for the mattress. Spoke with a very nice lady on the phone. Everything was "no problem ". I explained that I was looking for a firm RV mattress and she sent me an email with the mattress she was recommending. This is her response. "There is not a firm, however this is a medium, which in memory foam, is very supportive. It is made much like the Original Tempurpedic mattress, which was also an 8” memory foam. It is conforming, but being it is not too thick, you won’t sink into it like the thicker, more plush memory foam mattresses. I always say, ‘less is best with memory foam’, meaning the less thick they are, the better they feel."
I then I asked what if I have a problem with it. She explained the 120 night sleep guarantee, I asked how would I return a bed in a box and she said "NO PROBLEM" again and said "You will donate it." After 2 nights on it my back was so sore I could hardly walk. I've tried contacting Mattress Firm with no satisfaction. They are telling me now about 20% restocking fees and shipping charges. I am so unhappy and frustrated. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND MATTRESS FIRM....BUYER BEWARE.

My purchase - Sleepys mattress from Mattress Firm, Colorado Springs. My purchase was in March 2021. In less than a year it sagged and has been miserable. I went into the store and complained. They told me that they do not cover the warranty and that I have to contact the company Sleepy’s that handles it. They said it would probably be hard to get it covered because I also lay back against pillows in the evening. The store gave me a link to contact Sleepy’s to file get warranty form. That took me in circle after circle to get to the complaint which didn’t happen. It just said that I would be contacted.
One email and one contact resulted in the store still pretending they can’t get in touch with Sleepy’s. I intend to keep pursuing a refund. According to your site, Sleepy’s is out of business and Mattress Firm is responsible for that company. Shouldn’t the mattress tag say Mattress Firm since the tag says it was made in 2021? Any mattress should last more than a year under a 5 yr warranty.

I have to give my review here since it is unbelievably bad. I purchased mattress April 20 and now it is May 16 but they haven’t done delivery COI with my building yet. (To be fair, another data point is my moving company get COI done within 4 hours). The worst part is that they never do what they promised. During these weeks, I have emailed them around 10 to 20 times, and called them over 5 times, each time they promised me it will be done soon but never happened.. They did an attempted delivery on a wrong date, and ignored my COI communications. Over these weeks, I have talked to customer service even warehouse guys but none worked. Once they told me that COI is done, but when I talked to building, they never sent it out. I am not sure what makes delivering a mattress so challenging for them. During the call, I even offer to help several times, each time they assure me it is fine while in reality, they just don’t care about it that’s why it is fine for them.

Called the next week and was told 7 to 10 days. Still waiting on the return of funds, It has been 16 days now (12 business days) and still nothing. They will take your money real quick but it's a headache to get it back. Real friendly staff but the financial department needs some help.

IF YOU WANT SERVICE FOR THE LONG TERM, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE!!! I purchased the top of the line ($1,400) adjustable base less than 5 years ago. In January the remote stopped working. I tried changing batteries with no success. I did not purchase a warranty because I was buying the best. I was never told if something goes wrong there is no way to fix it. I have been to this store 3 times. No one has helped. I am on my own. I spent a total of over $4,000 dollars. My bed is not flat, I am not sleeping well and it has now been 4 months.
No one has reasonably explained to me if I purchased a warranty who would have come to my house to fix it? All I have wanted is a service call in which I will pay. I understand it is not under warranty, however, for the price I paid, why can't it be fixed? Maybe they're hoping I'll purchase a new one in our throwaway culture. I am not looking for free service. I am a senior female and not handy. It was suggested I call the manufacturer and after an hour to get through to someone, they wanted to talk me through how to fix the bed myself. HORRIBLE, no empathy at all from Mattress Firm. How can there not be a person that they can recommend to have me gladly pay to fix my bed?
A side note when I went to leave a review for the adjustable base. Mattress Firm makes it clear that a reviewer not discuss service, only the product. That says it all!!! With the mattress industry changing so dramatically via online shopping, the amazing choices, prices and return policies, one of the main reasons to shop at a retail store is for service.

I mistakenly put the wrong city for my shipping and my mattress got lost in the mail. It said delivered. I was petrified it would take weeks to get my bed to me. Mattress Firm immediately sent me out another bed without making me wait for any long process. They were great. My mattress is so comfortable. It was described as plush and it is just that. Very soft and not firm. I built my plate form with headboard quick and easily, since I ordered online and didn’t opt for anyone to build it for me. Overall great experience. Customer service was excellent. Bed is comfortable.

I purchased a mattress from this company. A Beauty Rest Signature by Simmons. I paid almost $1300 for the mattress. Within a few years it began to break down on one side. Sagging so badly you could not see across the bed. It was like climbing a mountain to get to the middle of the bed. When in the middle you will roll off into the pit of hell that makes your back hurt so bad you can't sleep. I jumped through all of their hoops and got back what I expected. It's normal wear. Malarkey!
Nothing's normal about a hole so deep it's a struggle to get out of. But because the pad puffs back up (as it should) when you get out of the bed it doesn't show in procedure. Do they care? Heck now they don't. You can't talk to anyone. All you get is their Mattress Firm Robot and that so unprofessional it's comical and very sad. Mattress Firm and Simmons should both be ashamed of themselves for letting their brands be handle so unprofessionally. I will do everything within my power to let anyone within the sound of my voice know that they should not in any way do business with this organization.

The warranty reviews are accurate. Paid $1600 for a mattress. Submitted photos and all required information to be denied. Company stated they do not cover tears in mattress seams. The mattress is only a year old. Do not trust or buy from Mattress Firm. Warranty is a fake. Plus the mattress was discontinued. More evidence that the product was worthless.

I bought Mattress Firm 3 yrs ago. Recently issues warranty claim as mattress is sagging. Claim had to have mattress measured for depth of sag. It was sagging on left side as I complained. My mattress is not covered because it has a stain on top left corner that is barely visible. It is from dog jumping on bed when sheets were off, he can always find the mud. It dried & is barely visible by ANY Stain invalidates warranty. So now have $1300 mattress with sag on adjustable bed platform. I’m 72. Barely slept on it for 2 of 4 yrs as am consultant so it is definitely a RIP OFF.

Refused order on a delivery because the product was not what was described on the web. Was told that this was OK by the store and they are refusing to refund my money. This company is a total complete rip off. My expectation was that they were going to honor their word however they don’t and you can’t get a hold of anybody whatsoever.

In 2019 we purchased the IntelliBed. After 2.5 years, the mattress started sagging in many areas. I worked with Alex from Mattress Firm in Leominster and Natasha District Manager to get mattress returned. After trying out several beds, we decided to purchase another brand. Alex and Natasha were most helpful. I give the customer experience an 'A'. Note: NEVER NEVER remove and tags off mattress. Removal of tags voids warranty.

I purchased a new mattress and adjustable bed from Mattress Firm and when I did I was informed that it would be about 4 weeks before it was available, no problem. We set a delivery date and I was informed that the merchandise would be available before the delivery date. About two weeks before the delivery date I called and asked to move up the delivery day and was told that would not be an issue. On the new delivery date, no delivery. I contacted the store and they could not explain but set a new date two days later. Guess what, again no delivery. I contacted the warehouse and they explained that the store had not made the requested changes to the delivery. Apparently left hand has no idea what the right is doing, in the meantime Mattress Firm has my $3000 + and I have no new mattress!

Before buying a new bed, I researched several brands and companies. I decided to purchase a hybrid memory foam over coil Simmons from Mattress Firm because of the "sleep guarantee" for 3 months. Plus they had a decent deal on the bed and 0% financing. However after only 1 yr, the center of the bed has a depression in the middle, so bad that you feel like you are rolling towards the center all the time. I contacted the sales people who suggested I file a warranty claim on the Mattress Firm website. They also told me it was unlikely I would get anything for the warranty....Well they were right! Nothing! I submitted the pictures requested in exactly the manner they requested on the website. After a few days, they told me that the bed had "normal wear". I'm not sure how they can tell that when the top of the bed has memory foam and looks brand new?!? It's the coil structure that feels like it failed. I even said that in the original request. So buyer beware. They DO NOT stand behind their product. After 90 days you are stuck.

Updated on 03/12/2022: Been a week since the installer of my bed accidentally took the remote to the bed, and still no replacement remote. Today I was promised I’d have the replacement remote, but when the installer showed up he said he was here to fix the bed and that he didn’t have a remote and didn’t know what I was talking about. Impossible to speak to anyone from Mattress Firm and still waiting for a call back which I was supposed to get 2 days ago!
Mistake are made but incompetent people is another issue. The fact that they’d believe their tech even though the picture they took shows my tv remotes and not the bed remote goes to show how unwilling and pathetic they are! Told they will be sending out a replacement remote tomorrow. Can hardly wait to see if they can get it right. I even had one customer service rep tell me take my mattress and sleep on the floor until the problem is resolved.
Original Review: Had techs come to house and install headboard to bed, accidentally took bed remote. Called immediately once I noticed it was missing, 10 minutes. Refused to help, told me driver didn’t have it and contact store. Refused to let me speak with a supervisor, told me one would call me back. It’s been over 24 hrs no call. When I asked how was I supposed to sleep in my bed since the left it with feet elevated above head. I was told to put the mattress on floor. I have that in writing! I guess they think I am a dog that has I’d sleep on the floor instead of a bed set that I just spent big bucks for.

I wish I can give them 0 Star. Hassle return policy and wasting your time. There is some companies trying to make money and servicing the customers the best way like Costco, and there is companies trying only making money and don't care about customers like Mattress Firm. I bought Beauty rest King size and after 4 months sagging, my weight 205 LBs.
- They will charge you restocking fee 10% if you need an exchange or 20% to return it.
- Delivery people will deliver it for you in the entrance or garage and will charge you extra $100 if you need specific room.
- The mattress sagging in my case and I spend almost 2 hours taking pictures and open a warranty case to file a claim and took 5 days for them to inform me the sagging within manufacture range.
Note: I have the same brand for 11 years now in different room and it's in excellent condition. Save your time and money and buy your mattress from Costco, free shipping in any room you want and free return policy even after a year, and it will take you only 10 seconds to order a return. Not recommended at all.

I received this as a replacement product for a foam /unbreathable mattress that I had bought from them a month earlier. Paid an additional almost $200/ because it was supposed to have better support, better quality and be very breathable. The first day I slept on it my back started hurting so I asked my teenage son to try it. He woke up in the middle of the time and told me Mom I need my bed back my back hurts. I called and asked to return it. Additional $200/ for returns because they do not take more than one for free. I have been sleeping on it this past week waiting for a new order. I have had terrible legs pulling, backaches and had to take ** every night before bed. Finally slept on the carpeted floor.

I filed a warranty claim in Dec, finally had it approved in January and still don’t have a bed. I get nothing but excuses and lame sales tactics from the Walla Walla store manager and little support from the company itself. Do your research before you buy from this company. They have a history of poor customer service if there are any problems with their product. You are not a priority unless you’re spending money.

Went to store to file a claim and were told it had to be done on line and would take about 10 min. Took over an hour because of all the pictures they required. The store Manager and a salesperson said that what we showed then in a picture should not happen. Sent everything in that was required and 5 days later got an email that the claim was denied. No one came to look at the problem and how could someone sitting in an office make that decision from a picture when the people that sell the product everyday said this issue should not happen. I don't think I would ever buy another product from them. They tout how great their warranties are to get you to buy and then deny any claim you have after.

I had purchased a plush king Beautyrest from the manager at Mattress Firm when I went to the shop explaining the back & neck pains I have and I needed a bed that supported the back & neck. When I received the mattress, it was so stiff and I called to return the mattress within 2 days of sleeping on it. Salesman convinced me to keep the mattress as it will soften over time.
A month later, the mattress softened up.. only on the place that I slept on and the rest of the mattress did not budge, so it sunk in the center of the bed over an inch! This was not covered under their warranty even though they advertise quality and warranty. I tried to contact the original salesman/manager to exchange the mattress and did not hear back for over a month! So I gave up and returned the mattress. Only to find out that I had to pay 20% of the cost, $99 to pick up and I wasn't able to return the adjustable bed!! This was the WORST decision to have gone to this place and I will never purchase from here again.

I bought a Sleepy Mattress from the local Mattress Firm and the mattress performed well for several months and things went downhill fast. I am a back sleeper and weigh less than 130 pounds. I began to notice a soft spot under my hips and the longer I used the deeper the hole got. I tried to contact the customer support group and couldn’t talk to a single person. I tried chat with the same result. They offer a service that for $79.95 they would send a representative who would work the problem. Problem solved!…
Wrong. No representative in my area to assign the issue. I finally reached a VP’s off and got an email from his assistant who sent me a packet outlining what they needed; 5 pages of forms, required pictures measurements, etc. I am 76 years old and no longer have the energy or desire to go through the required gymnastics to accomplish the required work. I'm out over $1000, a horrible mattress and a bad attitude towards the mattress firm. Buyer beware!

Very pissed off at Mattress Firm. They told my husband our new mattress would be delivered today and he would receive a call last night to schedule a time. He finally contacts customer service today and they tell him there was a glitch in the system and won't come till next Thursday. We've been sleeping on a crappy mattress and needed this delivered today. The rep thought that she could just upgrade us to gold delivery and we would just be ok with it. I will never buy from them again.

I bought a mattress and adjustable base because they talked it up like it was gold. The mattress that I bought, I have had for 3 months and has already broken down. The base which originally cost $700 is crap, Don't buy one, you won't use it. The mattress that was supposed to be for back and side sleepers has given me back problems and a pinched nerve in my shoulder and I cannot sleep through the night without the constant throbbing pain of my shoulder waking me up. I cannot even afford to buy a new bed due to the fact that this bed cost me over $1700.
They will not take the base back and will not refund your money. I have tried several times to contact them, with No response. I try not to be confrontational, I would prefer to chat or email and of course there is no email to contact. The chat people cannot help you and trying to get someone to call you is a joke. I also tried about 5 times to file a claim online for the "warranty"; but the website won't let you upload pictures. So of course now the 120 days is up and I am stuck with a bed that has made my life miserable. Don't shop here. It's not worth your money or time. That only care about their bottom line.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. I am so absolutely disgusted. I ordered a mattress on Saturday night and realized two hours later it was the wrong size. I emailed them frantically. They said the sales agent would get back to me within 48 hours. I emailed them on Monday. They promised they'd send me a link to change the size. No email came. I emailed yesterday to cancel because I would afraid it would arrive. This morning, I got an e-mail to process the cancellation. Well guess what? It's 1:28 and the mattress is HERE. They don't even have a customer service phone number!!!! They do everything online!!!! Now they have lost my business and they are picking up the mattress tomorrow. I am so absolutely disgusted. I was willing to work with them over the error, and this is what happened.

Ordered a twin mattress and frame on 1/6/2022. Cancelled order 1/11/2022. Company notified me a refund would be issued within 7 to 10 business days. 1/22/2022 got email they were delivering the mattress. I tried to stop the delivery since the order was cancelled. The only way to communicate with the company for an online order is thru online Chat or submitting a form requesting assistance. Tried both ways and sent an email to agent that cancelled my order, to no avail. Got email telling me the approximate time of the delivery and the driver would contact me prior to delivering the mattress. Got automated message instead of the driver calling so I couldn't tell them not to deliver. Driver and assistant came. Arrived at my house. Neither spoke English, they had to get their manager on the phone. Explained order had been cancelled thus I couldn't accept delivery. She indicated they would take mattress back to warehouse and notify Mattress Firm.
Got an email from Mattress Firm apologizing for not being able to deliver mattress and informing me they would deliver it on 1/25/2022. I was shocked. The order has been cancelled since 1/11/2022, delivery was not accepted and they are trying to deliver again. Tried to contact company again to stop this delivery. Finally, got an agent thru online Chat. Agent stopped the delivery. Got email saying order was cancelled and it would be another 7 to 10 business days before they refund my money. I should have gotten my refund today, but didn't. Who knows if I'll get it in the next 7 to 10 business days. This is ridiculous. I will not be buying from Mattress Firm again. The corporate office is located in Houston, TX. After this ordeal, I looked up their rating with the Houston BBB. Wish I had done that before I ordered from this company.

We have a mattress we purchased on Feb 23 2021 and the coil is popping out of the sides top and bottom of the mattress. We were told to file a warranty claim and provide photos. Most of these photos had nothing to do with the part where the coil is popping out. This is so bad it damaged our box spring and foam topper that was on top of the mattress. If we didn't have the topper it would have stabbed us while we were sleeping on it. Our warranty claim was denied. This is not even a year old! We are asking for a refund or replacement of a safer mattress. We would even be will to accept a credit to purchase a brand name that is safer and will last more than a year. This is not acceptable we have a defective product and they are refusing to replace it!

I went into the store trying to find a mattress that would help with back pain. The salesperson (Thomas) assured me that I could return it for my money back or for an exchange. I asked him what was the language and definitions of that because I had learned in the past what they say and what they mean isn’t always the same. He assured me it meant just what it said and they would take very good care of me. I opted to do their financing with no interest and I already had their credit card so I requested to use the one I already had but I wanted the promotional rate. When I got the mattress it didn’t feel anything like the one in the store that I had laid on. I had to return it but in the meantime I found out he had applied for a new card in my name instead of using the one I had given him and when I tried to take it back I found out there would be $100 charge to pick back up plus $500 to restock that. I felt betrayed on all counts.

Eric has gone the extra mile on our behalf in post-sale customer service, possibly - possibly - because the company could not or would not. We ordered a mattress online and it was supposed to be delivered within a week. It keeps getting pushed back. If we call in, they say that they cannot help because it was a web order and we have to go through chat. If we go on chat, they do not help. This has been a huge waste of time and we're canceling the order. Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable store and deal with someone in person. Mattress Firm doesn't care about their customers and is no help.

My wife and I have back issues, so we decided to buy a Tempur-Pedic Mattress and frame. We bought it from the Mattress Firm. I wanted to place a good down payment, but the sales person convinced me he could get me 5 years no interest financing on the entire purchase. It sounded good to me so I agreed. Long story short we ended up swapping beds 4 times to find the right bed for us. the process was painless, and we ended up finding the perfect bed for us.
Inspecting our bill, Synchrony Bank (the "bank" the matress firm owns for financing), had decided to dictate that we now owed them over a thousand dollars in interest and penalties!
WOW! Just what I remember when I was younger from abusive lenders that think they can take advantage of anyone who gets talked into using their financing. SHAMEFUL. We tried to call to sort this mistake out, but could never get a real person on the phone. The best we got was an automated system. This system's only option was pay us money, pay us money, WOULD YOU LIKE TO PAY US MONEY? No recourse, no disputing your bill, no way to work out a mistake on their end. I love the bed! I will never buy another bed from the Mattress Firm. I would tell anyone reading this: Buy the BED! Just don't buy it from this "bank" pretending to be a mattress retailer.

Delivery repeatedly delayed. They attempted to fix the problem by scheduling delivery of an inferior mattress and not offering any sort of credit. They said I could exchange later if not happy with the substituted mattress. Needless to say I canceled the entire order. Be warned that they do not meet their delivery or product commitments.

If you use Mattress Firm’s financing, be aware that they may up monthly payments. I called a customer service agent after being charged late fees due to the auto payment falling on a weekend. The payment had arrived one day late. I paid the fee and moved the auto payment date so it would not happen again. The agent confirmed that auto payment date was correct so the payment would not be late in the future. Without missing or being late for a payment, I kept getting charged more for additional late fees. I called and they said I needed to continue paying late fees. Do not get this card or use it to finance a bed purchase.

Although I have purchased from them twice before and the experience was good. I purchased the same type mattress recently. It seemed OK in the beginning but after 45 days it sank really bad. It was difficult to get out of the bed. I returned it and got a replacement which had the same problem after 45 days. At this point I just wanted my money back and to return the mattress. They informed me that I had voided the warranty because I didn't purchase the recommended bed frame which was never mentioned to me during the sale. Now I am stuck with a mattress that is uncomfortable to sleep on by me.

I really enjoyed my experience at first the salesperson always really nice which I enjoyed and I was able to get my mattress very quickly. Well while having it not that long I noticed it would indent. I didn’t like it and wanted a different bed but not from them because it was 2700 for the bed I had. I decided to return it and it was expensive as hell. Not to mention I got an adjustable bed frame and no one told me it was non refundable! Order Beautyrest mattress by phone and sales person promise that delivery to room is free and will take the old mattress but when delivery guy came he said he can drop outside only as showed me that nothing is mentioned in the notes. They lie to me to get the business. I was getting better deal online but because he promise this delivery I opted this. When I tried to return as it was too firm and was not all comfortable they said that I have to pay $100 delivery and 20% restocking fee. I learnt a lesson that at least for mattress go to store and checking it before buying. Never buy mattress online.

The mattress we purchased is good. Not really worth the 2600$ we have to pay but good. My issue is their financing system. I lost 82 points from my credit score due to how they report it! Basically they don't tell you it's a credit card and once the full amount reported well it looks like you maxed out your cc!! That hit is gonna take years to recover and I'm extremely upset about it! I purchased a Zinus My Gel queen mattress online from Mattress Firm on 10/27/21. I was told my order would be delivered in 3-5 days. I also requested that it be set up in my home. I called 3 days later to see if they had an exact delivery date yet. They found my order right away and said that it would be two weeks & that I ordered contactless delivery. Then I was told then that in order to have it set up in my home I would need to call back and tell them on or a few days before 11/2.
So, I called them on 11/1. I used the track my order option and they could not find my order number. I re-entered it several times. I clicked on the chat option and the connection was not working. It suggests you contact them by the phone number if it is between the hours above. There were no hours above and the phone just said to go online. There was no option to speak to a CSR. I waited an hour and tried again thinking they were not open yet but got the same result. So, I canceled my order. Now the wait begins to see whether they will return the money to my card. I have no way of contacting them since they obviously do not want to be contacted by their customers. If I do not get a full refund I will leave another review. I do not suggest doing business with Mattress Firm.

I am rating this store as LOW as possible. After placing an order over a week ago and paying $200 for a specific 2 hour delivery window, got a call 10 minutes before the delivery window saying there wasn't going to be a delivery. Part of the order is not in stock and instead of asking if a partial delivery is acceptable, the warehouse decided to do no delivery.

When in somebody bragged about the Purple mattress and so I got it for $2,997 in change and I have back pain and it does not help that at all. I don't care what you advertise. DO NOT buy from Mattress Firm. They charged me $784 return fee for a mattress I never slept on. I contacted them and let them know I was unable to stand the gasses that were emitting from their mattress. They told me I had to keep the mattress for at least 2 weeks. To be fair the contract did state that there would be a restocking fee ($99) and return fees (20% because you have the audacity not to like their mattress and another 20% because you have better sense than to buy a replacement from them).
They claim the additional 20% is to “encourage” you to buy the replacement mattress from them. At the time I did not see a problem with the arrangement. I figured worse case I’d pay 20% plus a restocking fee if I didn’t like my initial choice and select another mattress. If their fees are this high I figure they must get requests for returns quite frequently.
I didn’t know that the smell that came from their mattress was so offensive. I was informed to let the mattress air out for a day or two. My thought was it was a mothball type of issue. Not true, the gasses were coming from the mattress itself. Not long after the mattress arrived, I got a headache and felt nauseous. I tried the next day to get some work done. But since my bedroom doubles as my office, I had to abandon my bedroom/office for two weeks.
Mattress Firm charged me $784 to take back a mattress I never slept on. I hated to pay them that exorbitant amount but my health is much more important to me than Mattress Firm’s gouging return prices. My experience with Mattress Firm encouraged me to go organic. I investigated Birch and Awara. They are purported to be the top manufacturers of organic mattresses. I went with Awara.
But first I asked about their return policy. Get this, they allow you 365 days to return the mattress and they do not charge you anything to return it. Not to mention on top of being approximately $700 cheaper, Awara included sheets, mattress cover and pillows for free. I have never slept better. The service was excellent. Mattress Firm extended my delivery date. AWARA delivered exactly at the date/time we agreed upon. AWARA turned out to be an honest and reputable company worth doing business with. I wrote AWARA a glowing review.

The delivery crew was professional and friendly. Always wearing a mask and easy to talk with. At first they told me, they did not set up the headboard set. But after I called Ms. **, she contacted the delivery company, The crew came back and set up the headboard. Even though it was not a scheduled task, they did well with no issues. The crew gets a 10 in delivery and set up.
Attached is picture of the headboard set up, which is 3” lower than the mattress. Looks odd, but I sent this pic to Ms. **. I am waiting for her to reply. My frustration is Ms. ** said she would call me back when she contacted the delivery company to set up the headboard. She did not call me back. She also didn’t return my call, when I left a message 1:10 pm. It wasn’t until 4:02 I called her again and she was pleasant, but not resolving my current problem. I asked her why she didn’t call me, and she said she was busy. What manager of a business doesn’t check her voice mail for 3-hours and call back customers that have given her $3500 worth of business?

I purchased two mattress recently at Mattress Firm. At delivery - one was extremely wet and very stained. The delivery group left it - obviously knowing it was extremely wet and stained. My Mom recently broke her hip. I went to the store to purchase an adjustable base so she could raise her legs and head. The day before delivery, Mattress Firm called to say it would be another week. Frustration is really not the appropriate word. It is more they need to understand - there are people behind these purchases, and at times, individuals who are in desperate need of these products. Although the mattresses may be good quality - the customer service is not. I would not recommend the company!

I selected and paid for a mattress over a month ago at Mattress Firm in Visalia, CA. Every week, someone from Mattress Firm calls me to schedule a delivery, and every week they cancel the delivery the day before and tell me that my mattress will be delivered the following week. This has been ongoing for over a month. Today, Adrian called me and told me that my mattress was "in the warehouse" - yay!! - and warned me that if I didn't schedule a delivery during the week (while I'm at work) that the mattress I paid for would be delivered to someone else.
When I called him on his **, he backpedaled and blamed the computer for automatically rerouting deliveries. I have no doubt that I will love my mattress when I finally get it, but customer service is lousy. I imagine that by now my mattress has been in the warehouse several times but has been delivered to other customers because my job means that I'm only available on Saturday. If they screw this up again, I'm canceling my order.

Salesperson was condescending and argumentative. Opted to purchase with them because salesperson said they had it available in the warehouse whereas the other mattress companies we had visited said 6 weeks or longer because the mattress was handmade. She said it would only be delivery time from the warehouse and gave a date 10 days away for it to be there. Then she changed it saying she needed to add 2 days just in case so it wouldn’t be an overdue order.
The 12 days came and we had heard nothing so I checked the order online and saw it wasn’t expected to leave the warehouse for another week! I called the salesperson at the store and she again tried to argue that I couldn’t possibly have a date for pickup on a Friday because they get deliveries on Saturday. As she was on speakerphone, my spouse heard and informed her of her original promise for a Wednesday but she wanted to add a couple days “in case”. Then she said that couldn’t be true because they don’t know until the deliveries come and she can see the invoice and once they see it on the invoice she would call us for pick up. Again we reminded her she said it was available in the warehouse and that was why we purchased with them. She said she couldn’t control when it came! When we said we felt she was rude from the start and now had lied to us and didn’t feel comfortable doing business with them any further so to cancel the order. She hung up on us! Tried calling back and nobody would pick up. When going online to the website it has a “call us” option to click but when you do it has a recorded message to go online and complete a form with your issues and someone will contact in 24-48 hrs! You can’t speak to a person! Horrible, Horrible, Horrible company and customer service

I searched the site with measurements for a tri fold mattress to replace the one on my futon chair. It came up with one meeting the measurements. I went to the brick and mortar store asking for the product, and they told me they never carry them in the store. The store advertises a 120 day return policy, so I wasn't too worried. I went back home and ordered it. First off, I was supposed to have it by Friday of that week and it was 5 days late. Maybe that is not their fault, but I was unable to reach a human about the issue. Then I receive the mattress and it is the wrong size. I have no idea why the one I was looking at was not the one that went into my cart, but I received a useless item. I contacted customer support and they want me to pay $100 return delivery fee plus a 10% restocking fee. The mattress didn't even cost $100! They are not willing to do anything to help remedy the situation. I definitely do not recommend ordering anything online from them.

My husband and I recently went to Mattress Firm planning on purchasing a queen size foam mattress for our son and a king size Purple mattress for ourselves. However, the very convincing sales person showed us a floor model Intellibed mattress that was being clearanced out. In the store the king mattress was fine but after a week and a half of sleepless nights and the mattress not living up to the hype I called the store to see what my options were. It turns out that I have no options, I am stuck with the bed since it was a floor model. We were told that there would be no 120 day sleep trial but were left with the impression that we’d have 30 days. No one ever said this would be a final sale or that no returns or exchanges would be available. We do not buy mattresses often, once every 15 years, but when we spend over $2000 on one we expect it to be comfortable.
Also, regarding Mattress Firm’s sleep trial. The fine print says if you decide you don’t like the bed you’ll have to pay a 20% restocking fee plus $99 shipping to send it back to the store. Learn from my mistakes. Don’t buy an Intellibed, they’re far to firm, shake every time your partner rolls over and the mattress is so thick that it severely limits your sheet buying options. Go with an online mattress store. They offer up to 365 days for their sleep trial and not only will refund your money if you don’t like it but help you find a place to donate the mattress you don’t want, they don’t want it back for sanitary reasons!

I had a wonderful experience with Mattress Firm in Sugar Land, Texas. While my husband was hospitalized I decided to purchase a mattress. I wanted the entire process to be completed by the time he was discharged. I was probably their most decisive customer because I went in and spent much time looking at and lying of various mattresses. Finally I made a decision and completed the sale. The delivery and setup was completed as planned.
Well, after 2 nights, I felt I had purchased the wrong mattress for us. Well I called and then went in and talked about how awful the mattress was to sleep on. It was explained to me that the company policy was to keep and sleep on it for at least 30 days. I did not want 30 days. It was too hard. Brandon, my salesperson, had been with me through the entire process. He did whatever needed to be done to make sure I got a mattress that was to my pleasing. I was so appreciative and if need be will shop there again. Thanks for compassion that was shown to me by Brandon.

I was supposed to have a delivery on Thursday. I took the day off work to accept the delivery and received a call the night before at 4 o'clock that the delivery was delayed to Saturday. Too late now to cancel my day off. Then, I said it must be delivered in the morning on Saturday for the redelivery. It was scheduled for 1:30-3:30, not the morning. Then it was rescheduled for Monday with Diamond server so that it would arrive between 10-12. I received a call about delivery between 11:30-1:30 and it was Silver service, meaning they would not offer the level of delivery I even paid for originally (Gold Service). I received a call from a corporate representative in response to a bad review and they apologized and offered a credit on the order. Now 15 days later and no credit and no one is even aware of such credit to be issued.

I would give a ZERO if I can. I placed an order with the company because it told me that the order would arrive in 3 - 5 business days. After 5 business days, nothing happened. I checked the order status, and the order had not even been shipped. In fact, I realized that they even updated the estimated delivery to TWO MONTHS LATER. I called their customer service and could not reach a real person. I then used their online chatbox and explained my situation, the agent said a FedEx tracking number had been created. The company thinks its customers are stupid: just because a label was created, it does not mean a package has been shipped. Ironically, the agent ended our conversation before I tried to follow up because of my "inactivity." I needed only one minute to type my response and this agent did not have that one minute for a customer. What a stupid company and terrible customer service. This company is a total scam, AVOID IT AT ANY COST.

We spent over $3000 on a new mattress at Mattress Firm in Hagerstown, MD. We paid for gold delivery service and were told we would be notified of the delivery window prior to the date we selected. We received a text at 5:45 pm the day before, to be notified of a delivery window of two hours between 2:45 pm and 4:45 pm. This was unacceptable. There was no way to change the time, only the date. For the $200 gold service delivery you would think we'd been asked for our delivery hour preference. But no, it's only made to suit the company's schedule. I would never buy anything else from Mattress Firm, nor would I recommend anyone to consider using their services.

I went to Mattress Firm and purchased a $2500 mattress. The salesperson, Curtis, was wonderful in helping us find a mattress that fits our sleep needs. There were four in stock at the distribution center and we went over to pick it up. When we went into the office to give Shelia our paperwork. From her desk (because she would not come to the customer service window), she informed us that they did not have our mattress.
With company coming in two days, I asked her what we going to do to solve the problem and she replied that SHE was not going to do anything. I would need to drive an hour back to the store and get it fixed because the salesperson messed it up. I told her that was not an option because, by the time I returned, they would be closed. And, in the computer, there were four of my mattresses in stock. She said it was not her problem. I asked to speak to her supervisor. A man that would not share his name stepped out of the background and said that they were not going to do anything. I had to ask him to step closer to the window to avoid a screaming match in front of other customers because they were across the room from me and Shelia was still louding interfering.
My husband suggested that they go look in the bin because there were four mattresses in the computer. Both Shelia and the supervisor refused. The supervisor told me he "was the last person I could speak with." Shelia came over to slam the customer service window in my face. I called Curtis back at the store and told him the problem. He called Shelia and continued to check different mattresses until he found one she had in stock. Curtis talked Shelia into giving me that mattress until they could get my mattress. That was two weeks ago. Curtis was a lifesaver, but I have tried to reach Mattress Firm customer service to talk about Shelia and her rudeness. My inquiry through their website was forwarded back to Curtis - which does not solve my problem. I am still on a mattress that is not mine. If it does not come in soon, then I will be requested a refund and Mattress Firm and Shelia can keep their terrible experience.

We tried out a mattress obtained from Mattress Firm and were not completely satisfied with it so we decided to return it and buy a mattress from a competitor and called and asked them to take it back. There is no need to to name the dealer because the policy we encountered is company wide. However, just for completeness sake we are talking about the store in Redmond, Oregon. Since we paid for it up front we were informed that our refund would have $599 deducted - $99.00 for shipping and $500 for a restocking fee. If you read the legalese fine print you will find that this is indeed what the contract says. I do not dispute that this is legal. My response is that it is exceedingly unfair and of questionable morality.
The policy is designed so that we are financially intimidated into obtaining another mattress from Mattress Firm. The salesperson told us that only one percent of customers do not end up with one of their mattresses. That is certainly understandable considering the high cost of doing anything else. I, however, refuse to be intimidated into choosing one of their mattresses and my penalty for this is that I have spent $599.00 and have nothing to show for it except extreme stress and disappointment. The sales people really stress how easy it is to try out a mattress until we get the perfect fit, but they certainly do not stress the cost of choosing none of their products. I would like for potential customers to be aware of this questionable policy.

Original order for Sealy Briar Rose Firm Mattress. The mattress was too hard so we went back and exchanged it for the Briar Rose Cushion Firm Eurotop which took two months to arrive. This mattress developed a dent within a month of use so we reached out to the store and sent them pictures. The store said they could not replace it even if it was still under warranty since they did not carry/sell the mattress anymore and that we had to go to the store to try out other mattresses to replace it.
As they did not have any suitable replacement within the same price range as the original defective mattress, we had to spend $1000 more to get a replacement! The store then told us that we had to pay shipping/delivery fees for the replacement even if the original mattress was defective or we’d have to pay a restocking fee for returning the defective mattress that was under warranty and failed within a month of use! The new mattress was to be delivered again 6 weeks later.
When we looked at the receipt, however, the sales representative had put the incorrect mattress model number and we had to call to fix it. The representative we spoke to then told us that he would have to adjust the price higher because the model number the original representative put in the system was ‘cheaper’ than the mattress he sold us. We informed the representative that the original representative confirmed multiple times at the store that the price quoted and that we’d like a refund if they couldn’t honor the price at the store. He then agreed to honor the original price and correct the other representative’s ‘clerical’ error.
When the mattress replacing the defective Briar Rose mattress arrived, we noticed a stain (which voids the mattress’ warranty) and were told by the delivery staff to call the store and ask for a replacement and that they’d take the defective mattress away instead of putting it back in the bedroom since they could not do that. We called the store the same day and they said that since we took delivery we would have to ‘exchange’ the mattress and could not simply return for a full refund and that they were doing us a favor and this was the ‘last exchange’ they could do insinuating that we were responsible for them selling a defective mattress we later found out many had complained about online and being delivered a soiled mattress. We hesitated but scheduled delivery for the replacement.
The replacement took a month to arrive and when the delivery staff came to look at the soiled Beauty Rest mattress, they confirmed the stain and pointed out two more issues with the mattress: shoddy stitching that would break eventually and material busting out of a seem. He then went to inspect the replacement mattress in the truck and informed us that it was in worse conditions than the one being replaced. It was dirtier and had multiple seems failed and material coming out of them. The replacement therefore stayed in the truck and delivery was not completed. We therefore waited yet another month without a suitable/functional mattress. That’s 7 months now!
We went to the store to inform the representative that this situation was unacceptable and that we’d like to return the soiled mattress that was delivered for a refund. To our surprise he said that the only two options were to schedule another replacement or to return the mattress and forfeit a 20% restocking fee. This would mean that we’d have to pay for MattressFirm’s failure to properly inspect their products and sale of products known to be defective. This is completely unreasonable and unethical. This whole experience with MattressFirm during the last 7 months has made us NEVER want to recommend your firm to anyone looking for a quality mattress or good customer service.

So due to extreme inconvenience (i.e. losing a day's pay about 100 dollars) I was supposed to get a refund of 100. And one for delivery charge too. I can’t reach anyone there or at MySynchrony. I rate 0 stars. At first it said it goes through Mattress Firm 2-3 weeks refund then it said MySynchrony (credit company for mattress firm) then it said 1-2 billing cycles. Bought the bed in mid May now it’s mid August and it’s been 2 billing cycles. I see no refund in sight honestly with this terrible of customer service. We are talking about 220 dollars. Which is a whole bill and more for me that I could use on other bills. MySynchrony said to go to mattress firm now and now I can’t talk to anyone at mattress firm. I even did the agent in the chat and they ended the chat without me even speaking. This service is terrible and I will never use these companies again even if someone paid me to. 0 stars.

I don’t know of any places to recommend other people to get a mattress but I do know that I will be telling them not to go to a mattress firm. The people are nice enough and the bed is comfortable but the stress really made the experience. Together, my partner and I called about 10 times. They had the wrong information for us after changing it 3 times. Our delivery was delayed twice, we got no notice the second time and we had to call them at 5 pm to find out they didn’t even have the mattress in stock. We finally got the mattress but they had no idea we had a frame. We got upgraded to the Gold service for the delays, we were told that everything would be brought up, set up, and cleaned up. Nothing was set up and they left all the plastic as a parting gift. Now I have to hunt down my bill because they told me how “easy” it is to finance. To whoever buys a mattress here, I hope that you are smarter than I. Get a refund.

I needed a mattress topper because of my arthritis. I decided to purchase one at a brick-and-mortar store instead of on the internet for the customer service in case something goes wrong. Two months after purchasing a 4-inch foam mattress topper I noticed a huge tear in the middle of it and smaller tears along the outer surface. I called Mattress Firm and they told me to contact the manufacturer. It seemed like they couldn't wait to get me off of the phone. This was the exact purpose of buying from their store instead of getting it cheaper on the Internet. All they did for me was make me regret going to their store. No customer service at all.

My Order #** Tempurpedic Adjustable Base was delivered on July 20 2021. I truly expected the item to match the impeccable customer service that I received from the saleslady. The setup guys were in and out in less than 20 minutes. They left a card stating I would receive an “un-received” text and an email to rate my satisfaction. This is only “53” not “54” and neither one of the USB works! Why should I have to utilize the warranty so soon after the delivery? Why would a purchase over $1000 be considered un-returnable when the descriptions are inaccurate? I submitted this review here due to not receiving the promised questionnaire from Mattress Firm.

The Kingsdown bed is horrible. It begins to slump after only two or three days and Mattress Firm sucks because after the products they sell malfunction, they send a ridiculous ruler to have you measure things and will tell you that if they are to come in evaluate the product you have to pay a large sum of money. Mattress Firm in north Kingston N.Y. Store. Purchase 12/2019. Issue with Mattress & box springs. Sales Manager refused to handle complaint, which is her job & sent me to salesman to rectify problem. I dealt with 5 salesmen & no one could help---only the manager. She would not let me speak or message her District manager--who could have approved my exchange or credit. They Discontinued my James & Owens products, therefore no exchange available. That company is now dissolved. That company told me Mattress Firm would warranty items. She did not return phone calls & minimal messages. Had to drive to store to talk to her several times to pursue issue.
3rd party inspector approved defects after personal inspection. Sales manager "D" gave me store credit. I purchased mattress & box spring--not allowed to purchase sales items it had to pay full tag price---no sales price allowed. Spent another $1400. Delivery came on 7/5/21 & removed mattress & 2 box springs and set up new bed & box spring. Handed me paper to sign. No paperwork left for me. Discovered credit of $400 for 2 box springs not reflected on Synchrony credit card. "D" said not I'm not getting it. I would never had let them remove from property to be destroyed. May have been able to be repaired. This sales manager is inept at handling her job. District Manager now on leave (unknown return or replacement). All sales people excellent at their jobs but cannot make decisions. Filed claim with Mattress Firm headquarters. STILL WAITING FOR $400.00.

Every non-defective mattress should last longer than 6 months…Mattress Firm doesn’t agree. They are just not a good company. My husband and I bought this mattress when we moved to Bradenton FL in November 2020. I asked the sales girl for the warranty information and she said they only needed to enter our phone number into the computer to get information if there was a problem. It is now July 2021 and our mattress has been sinking/sagging for the last 3 months. Since it was past the timeline to return it, they told me to file a claim for the warranty. I did and was told that because I had partially cut the tag off the mattress that they would not do anything. They sent the warranty information in this email. This was the first time I had seen the warranty.
I went back to the store and spoke with the manager who said the warranty usually is in the plastic bag around the mattress when it is delivered. We never saw it and assumed the delivery guys just threw it away with the plastic bag. If I had been able to read the warranty and see that the company needs the tag that is attached to the mattress for any problems, I never would have taken it off. Now we are out $1000 and still have a bad mattress. Will never do business with this company again.

Mattress Firm is very expensive and they do not honor their warranty. My mattress started puffing and sinking in the middle, I tried to get a new one with my warranty but they denied me. The mattress is also so uncomfortable. I have never slept in such an uncomfortable mattress like the one I bought from them.

Name brand but last line quality mattresses. 120 days trial sounds great but read behind invoice. There is $99 return fee plus 20% restocking fee. Unable to compare mattress because not sold other reputed retailers. I feel bad for people do not read reviews like me. I end up paying $300 return fee in 21 days. Poor customer service. After taking my clean bug free mattress out to my porch they saw an old dead beetle inside the sealed plastic of my old box spring. They put my box spring back, brought my old mattress back in and onto the bed. We were confused. They mentioned that they wouldn't take my old mattress because of the beetle (said they wouldn't even if it had been an ant) which was fine. I can understand that policy. I didn't even ask for the Platinum service where they remove the mattress anyway, that was given to me for free.
My problem came when they wouldn't let us have the new mattress etc. We said we would bring it from the truck into the house ourselves. I told them they didn't need to do anything but drop it off onto the street and they wouldn't even do that. They said they can't let it leave the truck. They told me to call the local store and order a drop off only delivery. Local store told me they are too limited with their ability to schedule deliveries and even moreso because I bought it online so they could not help me and to call 1800 number.
1800 number automated service said there is no live help outside of the website or text. Website chat live agent said they cannot help nor even reschedule my order for 24 hours. They can schedule a new order right now but cannot reschedule the one I have already paid for. So now I have to wait another few days for a mattress that was literally less than 15 steps from my front door less than an hour ago. I wouldn't even be allowed to pick it up from the warehouse myself. I would ask for a refund but the live agent said that takes a minimum of 14 days. I asked for a manager and was told none was available. The store agent took my information and said their district manager will contact us some time but they had no time frame for that either.
The mattress may be excellent- I don't know since I haven't got it yet- but the customer service is the most inept and frankly uncaring that I have ever experienced. I saved the transcripts and am sure it would really embarrass the company executives if they were to ever read them. The entire experience today cost the company wasted gas and manpower not to mention the wasted pollution of having to deliver something twice.

The salesman kept questioning me after I brought in the old label from a Queen bed even though I told him on the phone that I was replacing the old bed due to being soiled by my 98 year old mother. He was told several times and then lectured me when I came to the store with the label in my hand. He then proceeded to question me about me wanting a full size bed when I had a label that said queen. I heard this four times even when I constantly said I wanted the same style and firm mattress as the queen. What did he not understand?!! Then I never received a call for the originally dated delivery of 7/10/21. I called the store, the girl said he was at another store, and that man said he was at another, and that store said he was off. Then I called the original store and the girl said it was coming 7/12/21, and then the salesman called who sold me the mattress and he said that she was incorrect in her information.
Finally got a date of 7/13/21but no call the night before. I now had a call 20 minutes before they delivered the mattress. I brought down the old mattress which was soiled and I told the guys to bring the plastic cover and I would bag it. They did not do it and just dragged the old one away. How unsanitary. The calls and time and everything else that went wrong from the initial call was not worth it. The woman I deal with for over 20 years was away. I should have waited, but it was a personal matter and unknown when she would return. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. YOU'LL DO BETTER.

I purchased a basic firm mattress in June to replace a previous one that had been damaged. They delivered it within a week, but when I got it inside I noticed the thickness of the mattress was 1" less, (7.25" vs. 8.25"). When I contacted them through their chat system (since you cannot talk to anyone) they said they use different suppliers, so the width would vary. Unfortunately, the mattress is not as comfortable or supportive as the last. When I asked to exchange it because it had been misrepresented on their website, they said I'd have to pay $130. I did not expect such an unhelpful reply. I felt very let down and unappreciated as a customer.

I bought king st of Stearns and Foster (Rockwell) from Mattress Firm in Cerritos CA. Sales Rep Matt. After 4 months they got saggy especially half side of mattress. I bought them around July 2020. I sent info. to Cerritos Mattress Firm to validate my warranty and they sent me a letter refusing to exchange. I called the sales Rep Matthieu and he said just to send info but they never did anything. I spent almost $3000.00 on this mattress. I will check with court to see if I can take them to court. I have valid receipts of purchase and denial of exchange.

Purchased king mattress with adjustable bed frame and two twin mattresses with box springs in May 13. Paid additional 149.99 for platinum service. Terms included promise of free delivery before June because that’s when guests needing beds arrive. By the last weekend in May, a holiday weekend, we are concerned there has been no communication. We called the store and they said they were having trouble setting up delivery. We reminded them we need the beds before guests arrive or our contract is void and we need to cancel the order and make other arrangements. They assured us items are in stock and delivery can be resolved with a few phone calls. Excuse that Corporate is the bad guy and sales people are are the good guy.
Truth: Sales people shouldn’t be making promises they know good and well corporate will not back. Whether or not they bothered to verify what they already knew, their answer to our next call was, Nope—no delivery option. Sorry. Hehe. However they do have this option that we cancel our plans and rent a Uhaul on a holiday weekend and make a 2 hour round trip to Mattress Firm, where someone will hopefully be available on one of their “busiest weekends of the year” to help us load our purchase into the rental truck. They will contact corporate about reimbursement of rental truck fees, of course, but we are out hours of time driving around to other mattress stores to see if they have good mattresses in stock, deliverable today.
We are out on research time and travel finding a rental, and finding/paying young backs to accompany to the store on no guarantee of assistance truck loading. It’s bad business to pretty much know at the time of sale this is going to end up a canceled order or customer pick up, and proceed anyway, forcing the customer to do all the communication. I suspect this happens only on orders in which the restocking fee is higher than the truck rental fee—big ticket items, and/or when they know the customer has a deadline which will force them to do all the work. And, to no surprise and to add insult to injury, the adjustable bed frame didn’t work out of the box, one of the twin box springs was pre-torn, and the king mattress is firmer than the one in the store for whatever reason, so our shoulder and hips hurt in the morning.
We kept our old mattress, but it’s our own $ and time to rent a truck and pay the restocking fee. They are happy to replace the boxspring if we haul it in, hehe. It’s up to us to call corporate about the bedframe, because it was defective in the box. More investment of time, and of course the manufacturer will not replace the bedframe. They want a repair person to inspect it. They happily provided a phone number for a repair person which is never answered. During business hours. Ever. I also filled out an online claim form and more detailed photos and info, with the same result.
We wanted brick and mortar stores to stay in business in order to save jobs, and could have ordered delivered online. My recommendation is to order online and deal with corporate directly when buying a mattress rather than doing the salesperson's job. We estimate no less than 8 hours invested to date, and don’t forget the rental. If you’re interested in spending hours and $ doing someone else’s job, shop brick and mortar. Our only option right now is to pay for another rental truck and pay the restocking fee if we want to get rid of our defective frame, box spring, and the not too comfortable mattress.

WARNING to anyone looking for a new mattress, DO NOT PURCHASE from Mattress Firm. You will be charge top dollar for the product, but their warranty SUCKS. We bought a new mattress and frame 2.5 years ago hoping if we paid for a better mattress, it would last longer, plus Mattress Firm assured us they had an excellent warranty. We paid $4,099 for the mattress alone and $5,913 for the whole package. We justified this purchase with the hope of getting many nights of good sleep, knowing if the mattress ever failed, we would be covered by the warranty. This mattress started to fail over the last year and is now to the point that we sink in several inches and get terrible nights rest. We wake up with sore backs and tired from tossing around all night, so we started the warranty process.
First off Mattress Firm customer service is awful, you cannot talk to a live person, everything is online and not an easy process. We had to submit many photos that were rejected, then we had to pay a 3rd party company $80 to come out and do the inspection for Mattress Firm. The Inspector found we had a 1” sag in our mattress without any weight on it. Well apparently this awesome Mattress Firm warranty only covers mattresses that sag over 1.5”!!!
We are now left with 2 options, 1st continue sleeping on this mattress until it sags more maybe another year, then pay another $80 for an inspection hoping Mattress Firm will honor their warranty, we have a gut feeling they will not base off our experience so far. Meanwhile we’ll continue getting a dreadful night sleep until the mattress completely falls apart!?. Our 2nd option would be to just buy another new mattress and warn others about Mattress Firm’s failure to honor their warranty. We will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH MATTRESS FIRM again!

Made Three purchases of highest end expensive Beautyrest and James & Owen bed sets. All three beds under warranty, within 5 years total, all bed purchases we received full credits given only after going through the daunting process of third party inspection that we paid for (three times). Now the third, James and Owen $8000 mattress went bad. Under warranty, again, only credit given to purchase yet another piece of garbage. The inspector told me there are an inordinate amount of claims because of the memory foam and the ceasing of the NO FLIP designs. Now Mattress firm doesn't not sell the brand. Manufacturer James and Owen refers claims to the vendor (store). We ended up down the rabbit hole. I am never going near another Mattress firm. The employees try hard but corporate has the power over your warranty. Next time we will buy from an independent dealer who can give you real credit.

I purchased a mattress from Mattress firm on 5/06/21. Was due to be delivered 5/30. Received email on 5/28 to get ready for my order to be delivered on 5/30. That day came, no call no email. I had my son come over to receive delivery because I had to work. I tried to chat with Alonzo and he had me wait for 11 min then abruptly ended the chat. I tried again, same guy. He cut the connection. Really bad customer service for people spending a lot of money!!! I called customer service and guess what, you can't talk to a live agent if you ordered your Mattress online!! Really!!?? You have to CHAT!!! Well that didn't work for me!
I checked my email while at work, lo and behold email at 5:30pm stating there's delivery issues and when I check on the website to track my order, it says my Mattress will be delivered June 21!! Really!!!! Y'all waited until the day OF delivery to tell me that I have to wait almost another month!!! Buyers beware with ordering online!!! Going to brick & mortar is the best way to go!!!!

On May 5th, 2021 I placed an order for a king sized mattress the website claimed was in stock. After I placed my order I was informed the mattress was back ordered and wouldn't arrive til May 29th. Fine, whatever, I paid 249 on sale. Then the week of the 29th comes and I get another email stating my order will not arrive til June, 6th!? What?! Why? There is no way to easily get a child of someone. I tried to call the store in my area to see what else they had in stock. Pointless, they are ONLY a showroom.
Are you kidding me? This day in age and you don't have the beds right there I can buy and take home? Who's brilliant idea was that?! Want to detour customers? Because not having a product on hand that you claim to be selling is poor business practice in my opinion. Since I don't own a business though that makes me stupid as a consumer. I requested a refund today. Let's see how long they decide to take and process that request. Do not buy from Mattress Firm unless you are willing to wait a few months for delivery.

I have had my mattress for 4 years, by the end of year 1 there were giant sags in the bed, I just found out it was a 10 year warranty so I went through all the steps to submit a claim and had stated there were stains before I tried submitting the claim, the process took over an hour to complete, I got the return email and they said because it had a stain the warranty was void! I'm sorry why would you not tell me that before I submitted the claim or how about when I bought a 1,000$ mattress!!!! I would have gladly spent 30$ on a mattress protector if I had known that but I've never had a need for one!

One of the most unprofessional and dishonest companies I have ever dealt with. Less than a year ago my husband and I bought a queen size Beautyrest for $1,500 from the local Mattress Firm store. After 3 months, the mattress started sagging where we both slept and it was very uncomfortable. We’re both under 5’5” and petite. Still, this should NOT happen after such a short period of time. I called the Mattress Firm customer service # and could not speak to a representative. NO ONE. I then visited the Mattress Firm store and they advised me to file a complaint with their online claims department, and so I did.
There was an option to pay $80 for a “third party” to come to your house and write a report on your mattress. We believed it to be a good idea since we paid so much money for a shoddy product. This weekend, a man from this third party came and saw the sagging mattress which is over 1.5 inches! We received his report days later and he wrote that there was nothing wrong with the mattress and that there was a stain. Basically, the man completely lied. LIED. At this point, we feel taken advantage of and completely ripped off. BUYER BEWARE AND STAY AWAY. Mattress Firm does not stand by its policies and is a completely disreputable company. Take your business elsewhere. They will waste your time and hard-earned money.

I purchased a box spring online. When finalizing my order, I clicked on just my delivery item, not anything extra that these companies like to add when you're checking out. If you're not careful, you get charged extra for additives that you did not include in your order. Which is exactly what happened to me and I was charged an additional $134.00. Once that error was fixed, it was time to schedule delivery. Days prior to my delivery date of 4/29/21, I was in contact with multiple agents from Mattress Firm advising them that I would need to drive home to sign for the delivery because they refused to listen to the customer who authorized them to leave the delivery at my front door. They assured me that the delivery personnel would contact me 15 minutes prior to arriving. NO ONE CALLED ME.
My delivery window was 1:30-3:30. It was 3:40 and I have not yet heard from the delivery guys. When I checked the tracking, it stated "unable to deliver." When I contact Mattress Firm to find out what happened to my delivery they said I have to reschedule my delivery. No one called at the 15 minute mark that I was promised, and although the delivery personnel were still on the road, they did not attempt to rectify the issue by having them re-routed back to my home to finalize the delivery. Needless to say, I do not have my box spring and now I have to waste my Saturday waiting for another delivery due to their lack of due diligence. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!

Shopped and compared. Went back to a Company I always trusted and although it bothered me I could not talk to a person I proceeded with my order. 199 for the mattress, 159 for the box spring, found a coupon for 11% off and no shipping. Completed sale and went to make dinner. Looked at my invoice soon after to see they had ADDED GOLD SERVICE SHIPPING AND THE PRICE OF THE BED WAS MORE. My total was close to $200 more than expected. I also received a separate email that oops they had made a mistake and my purchase wasn't arriving for 4 more days after.
Then the annoyance increased, you have to do a chat in order to converse and they IMMEDIATELY took off the shipping charge but since I had no "proof" they would not work with me on the price. I had them cancel but no proof of cancel was sent to me nor did I get the transcript copies I was promised. A manager is supposed to contact me in 48 hours, why so long? I guess they have a lot of complaints. Sounding very shady.

Bought bed and frame and we really like the bed. We bought the sheet, pillows, and mattress pad as a bundle and they suck. The sheets wrinkle so bad they are nearly unusable. They wash up like a rubber dish rag. I held the mattress pad up to the light and could read the paper thru it. I like the pillows. We are very disappointed with the sheets and pad. I would not give the sheets to anyone as a gift and I doubt we will ever use them again.

I ordered a mattress topper from their website on April 6th. The expected delivery was 7 to 10 days after shipment. Around the time I was expecting my order, I checked the delivery status and realized my order had still not shipped and was pending. I messaged their customer service and was told the supplier had yet to ship the order, but as soon as they did I would get a tracking number. I messaged again to see if I should expect my order by the end of the month and the customer service rep disconnected the chat. I messaged the following day and was given the same excuse that the vendor had yet to ship my order and I would get my tracking number when they did.
On April 18th I checked my status and saw they STILL hadn't shipped my order. I messaged once more asking when to expect the order and they sent me a message that the item I ordered was out of stock and would no longer be restocked. "Please allow 14 days for a refund." They waited almost 2 weeks to tell me this and only messaged me after I messaged THREE different times asking about my order. Expected more from a company like this.

Had an expensive Stearns and Foster mattress for a year and it started to sag significantly. Asked for them to assess and replace if possible, per the warranty. They refused to review the mattress in person despite their website indicating that service. Required us, both of whom are disabled, to disassemble the bed and send pictures despite our stated inability to do so. Do not purchase Stearns and Foster nor ever use Mattress Firm-they absolutely will not back their product nor provide promised service. They will not answer their phones at their customer service center, you cannot talk with anyone.

I wish I had seen these reviews before purchasing from this company. We ordered a "brand new" king size Beautyrest mattress from the Mattress Firm website. I figured this a nationally known name, so it was safe. I hadn't researched enough and wish I had. The mattress arrived in unsealed plastic but we tried to brush that aside because we waited so long for it. There is noticeable sagging and after testing it out, we realized it was clearly not a brand new mattress. After one week we had them pick it up. We hadn't even slept on it overnight yet as we were still moving into our new house, but we did sit and lay down on it & one side feels like a slope, there is no way it is new.
After emails which we provided multiple photo evidence that they requested, they said there is no evidence of sagging. (There is clear evidence!!) They flatly deny whatever you will send them, or say to them, just to get out of fully refunding you. They did pick up the mattress and gave me a partial refund, but I am disputing this partial **. We are not returning it just because we don't like it, we are returning it because it's not a brand new mattress. If they want to sell a floor model or used mattress, they need to fully disclose that so the consumer can decide if that's what they want to purchase!
After the multiple emails with short scripted replies of denying any fault, they had a manager call me a few times, and then email me to say she called me. I replied to her that I will stick to communicating via email as I needed evidence of all my correspondence. The manager did not respond to that email. Currently disputing charges. It's so frustrating. Go anywhere but here & save yourself the headache!

So I buy a bed, but don't get the bed I order! So they claim to give me a upgrade that is more of a no grade at all! The bed is extreme hard, at this point the floor is way better off or a blow up bed! the bed I wake up with backaches and headaches! Hell my old bed would have been better than this piece of garbage! I wish I had bought my mattress in store, instead I thought it might be easier if I bought it online. It went downhill from there, the sales agent in their web chat picked the wrong mattress and charged my card (I had no idea at the time). Secondly, I needed a certificate of insurance in order to have the mattress delivered to my building and my old bed frame removed - had to put delivery on hold because of it. It was impossible to get them to send me one, they have no phone # to call and speak to an actual person once they take your money. I spent nearly a week desperate trying to get the COI and emailing their non-existent customer service and filling out request forms, then decided to call my local mattress firm store sales person and beg for help. Without his help I would have had no COI and no delivery.
Finally the day comes, they deliver the mattress and the delivery guys say they didn't have a request to remove the old bed frame on their delivery job, I nearly lost it, after telling them this was part of their gold service they finally took some of the frame (not all of it). I checked the mattress and the sales agent online had ordered the wrong mattress for us, a lower class/cheaper mattress and we got charged for their top one. I would never recommend this company to anyone, horrific online customer service and no one to call once they take your hard earned money.

Bought a new queen size bed with frame and it is ok. When I got home I noticed that the back of the receipt didn't have the warranty on the back. I went back to the store to get a copy, but the sales woman, Jenny ** said it was on the website and that the delivery people would give me a copy. I asked her to print out a copy for me, but she refused. She lied on both statements. The delivery people did not have any warranty and they stated they only deliver products. The delivery men gave me literature stating I would be contacted for a survey, but that has not happened. If I knew how I would be treated I would never buy anything from Mattress Firm, nor will I ever again or refer them to anybody.

After years of experiencing back problems, I finally contacted Mattress Firm to see if my bed was under warranty, short of going out and purchasing a new bed. The warranty for my Laura Ashley mattress was 10 years. Their warranty claims process was cumbersome. I realized that the bed was not even 5 years old and that I have been having back issues for the past 3 years!
After providing the original sales receipt, picture of the Law Label (yes, leave it attached), and all pictures as requested by their claims process, I received the inspection report. It revealed "the measurements met the manufacturer’s standards and are considered normal body impression(s)"...tell my aching back that! To add insult to this, they signed off with "It has been our pleasure assisting you with this matter." A pleasure? You would think that it would be a concern that any of their products would be faulty after only a short period of time. Do they expect me to continue sleeping on this bed?

I will tell you this about the mattress we bought. It is without a doubt the worst thing I have ever tried to sleep on. I sink in on my side and the middle is a hill. The other side is close to the same way. Junk is all I can say. I went back to them 3 times and they keep telling me to fill out a warranty clam. Well when we bought it they sure took our money fast and said, "Any problems let us know." It took a month to get it and it’s junk. We have to go out someplace else and get a new one. So tell me they did not rip us off. They sell but give you the runaround after.

So my fiancee and I went into the bay city location and bought a mattress and everything with it, but what they didn't say is they out source their delivery to a contract company. Not only did they not show during their scheduled time. They failed to make it right and left it all up to the sales team who has no control over it. So then we finally talk to the delivers and ask if they can drop it at the store and they say no and take it back to Detroit. They failed to deliver 3 different deliveries and had no cares given. Not their stuff so oh well right? Well I will be receiving all my money back. Mattress Firm would be better off having their own drivers instead of out sourcing. On a positive note our salesman was amazing???? and we wish him all the best.

I made an online purchase of two mattresses and two different foundations from Mattress Firm using their online chat sales associate. One of my priorities in using Mattress Firm was their ability to guarantee a white glove delivery for the day that worked with my schedule. I traveled 300 miles in order to oversee this delivery for my elderly mother. I made arrangements with a furniture mover to accommodate the items we were expecting to be delivered and set up. The night before I received a delivery window of 5-7pm. I had opened a garage door to facilitate a utility service call. When the service tech was leaving, we found that two Purple mattresses had been dumped halfway inside the garage. No attempt was made to contact me or ring the doorbell.
Around 4pm, delivery people arrived with ONE of the two foundations. They did not want to set up the foundation as promised or move the mattresses from the garage upstairs to the bedroom. They only grudgingly did so. However, most distressing was that the order was not fulfilled as promised on the day I made a $3500 purchase from Mattress Firm. Instead of two foundations, there was only one. I received another phone call near 5pm, however, informing me that the Mattress Firm delivery was 30 minutes away. At 8:30pm, no delivery had happened.
Today I have spent hours trying to reach Mattress Firm to resolve the dispute. No one is available to take customer service calls. The only way to reach a person is via chat, and then only if you're trying to make a purchase. The sales associate did forward my complaint to a customer service rep via live chat, but that person was also of no help at all, and simply said the product was not made by them and they were at the mercy of the manufacturer. I was told I would have to wait 24-48 hours to receive a phone call from an actual human. Stay away from this company. They have terrible logistics issues and zero customer service. I turned the dispute over to my credit card company for resolution.

My son is a new 1st time home buyer & a part of his new chapter of his life is getting the pieces in place to set him up including bedding. We had already decided on a “regular” mattress from a big box store when my sons went into the Mattress Firm store #159020. His sales rep Kurt made an entire presentation that not only sold my son but me too as neither of us realized the differences in our sleep situations! All of the financing & delivery options were set in motion & we were stoked! Then, we weren’t.
It started with my delivery to my home & the base of chosen the Ergo smartbase not being able to fit thru my staircase (as I explained to Kurt during the sale was an issue I had 3 years ago) so my delivery was botched although was somewhat recovered by Willie bringing a platinum base for a future delivery of the base one step down from the ergo. Apparently with all of the sales pitch given it was not noted that the smart base does not come in two pieces but one solid one. My son’s base, the Ease 3.0, stopped working after one day. He attempted to troubleshoot the issue with customer service a few times then was told to contact the store. Spoke with our original sales rep Kurt who advised will have a replacement sent out. An appointment was set for today 2/19/21.
Over the course of this week we received updates to the wrong address, called & confirmed the actual delivery address & was assured it was going to ** NOT **. Truck comes to 409. I work from home 10-11 hours a day, 6 days a week therefore I cannot allocate the time it takes to redirect deliveries and the miscommunication of the Mattress Firm staff. It jeopardizes the job I actually am assigned & employed to do. After a brief & uncaring conversation with the delivery people that came to my home office we Placed a conference call to the store and spoke with Terence the store manager at the Wilmington DE location store #159020. Took the info. Shortly determined another truck was on its way. Obviously we are both very upset & stressed.
We were looking for this to be resolved once & for all with Terrence who then became extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate lacking empathy telling us to have a nice day & then hung up without an apology or assurance. The delivery personnel that did finally left my son’s front door wide open while they delivered his base to his 3rd floor which caused his 8 month old puppy to run out. He had to chase her 6 blocks in his slippers in the snow & ice because of their negligence. Once he returned with her he found that his footboard & railings had been removed & cast aside without being properly put back in place.
When we first made the decision to make this very large expensive purchase we didn’t even think about the cost as we were completely sold on the experience & excited really really excited to begin this awesome new journey to better sleep! It was supposed to be stress relieving and invigorating. This experience has been anything but. Also since my base was downgraded I have YET to receive the reflection on the difference in my financing which is affecting my credit report and rating. I can promise this; I will NEVER purchase or recommend Mattress Firm to anyone and write this experience to all who care to read about it. As of today Saturday March 6, 2021 the adjustable base has stopped working a second time within a month and the store now refuses to help or exchange it for a better model as previously promised by Kurt & Willie.

I have no idea how else to say this other than "this place sucks." I ordered a new Mattress and Box Spring. Guaranteed delivery on Wednesday 03/04/2021. I thought cool, this is going well. 4:57 Pm on 03/03/2021 I receive an email saying my order can not be delivered on 03/04/2021. So, I already took off work, all to be informed last minute closing time my order will not be delivered. & $21.00 an hour x 8 hours I lost $168.00 for the date of 03/04/21.
I am then told the order will be delivered Saturday, I say fine, mistakes happen. 8:33 Pm on 03/03/2021 I get yet another email saying the order can not be delivered until New delivery date: 03/11/21 Time Slot: 8:00a-8:00p*... You got to be kidding me right? So I am now expected to take another day off work, and lose $168.00 again. I would lose $336.00 just to have my order delivered at this point. Went to CANCEL my order online. I will never do business with this company again, and I will tell my 65,000 social media followers to never do business with this company. Unacceptable is all I can say.

I have to say I never expected to write this type of ratings for Mattress Firm or for the Purple bed. I have been buying mattresses for my family from mattress firm for years 25+. In April 2020 I went to the mattress firm on San Jose Blvd. to purchase a purple mattress with the Adjustable frame due to my husband having severe chronic pain which will continue through his life. Everything I’ve heard about purple and my experience with mattress firm in the past has always been very pleasant and professional. We went in to get the mattress. Sales person stated that we could get the two twin bases (since he had those in the store and would not hold up delivery) and they would work in unison together with our new Purple king size mattress. We asked multiple times if there would be any problems and he stated no. They were sold like that often. Not only did it take us a while to even get our mattress, But the bases has never acted correctly together.
In July 2020 I began placing warranty calls to try to fix my base. One ceased to work at all. They replace the power cord and then they replace the power box that goes at the bottom of one of our bases. They just did this on February 13, 2021. We’re looking at close to a year of having a bed that does not work correctly. When you call Reverie they take days to call you back if you they can ever catch you. You cannot contact anyone if you call. For the amount of money and the reputation of Purple company and Reverie and Mattress firm you would think between all of those they would be able to address our concerns.
We called mattress firm. They referred us to Reverie. Of course the number was bad so we had to track down how to contact them. We have never been able to speak with anyone with Purple which is very disappointing. For owning this bed less than a year you would think that they would be able to correct this error. Before purchasing from Mattress firm or Purple I would definitely look into the customer service side of it. I’m sad to say that because I researched Purple for over five months to determine which mattress we needed use to assist my husband. My only hope is that possibly someone will respond to this review of the service received. Hope you have better luck than we have!

Received firm mattress on 1/1/21 & sinkhole formed two days later. Downloaded Mattress Firm’s online measurement card and sent photos to show unlevel mattress when filing claim. Chat representative stated there would be a fee for picking up the mattress because it was a comfort issue. I replied you cannot be comfortable on a defective mattress. Due to poor customer service/fees, I did not reorder from them. Instead, I slept on a box spring for two weeks until a new firm mattress arrived from another company. Mattress Firm still charged me $100.74 and I have absolutely nothing to show for it except a terrible experience. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering a mattress from this company.

In December I spent $3000 for a bed. They brought me a really hard mattress that couldn't be slept on. They say no problem to exchange. I went in and they wanted another $1000 for a softer bed. Now it's middle of February and I'm sleeping on the floor. They are still rescheduling my delivery. I have no choice but to wait because they won't give me all my money back either. What a nightmare

I went in to purchase a few items. Box springs and a mattress protector. They showed me the mattress protector first. Great. 240.00 but ok. I’ll take it. Not so fast. They can’t sell it off the floor, so they have to ship it 3RD party 5-7 days. I said, "No thanks. I’ll order on Amazon." I did and received next day. The box springs guaranteed delivery next day between 11-1 pm. Waited all day no call, no e mail. No nothing. The app they say that tracks your order doesn't work. When scanned it says it wasn’t even out for delivery. Meanwhile Brian from the store looks into it and says that the drivers said no one was at the house.
Mind you I live in an apartment not a house. The Apartment has a leasing office open during those hours as well as video call boxes at every entrance with my name on the directory. Little did they know my wife is the property manager and I have access to the video, ran the video from 10 am 2:30 pm. Guess what? No Mattress Firm delivery truck. So it was clear they never even attempted the delivery and then they get on the phone and bold face lie to you... obviously such companies are not worth doing business with. They didn’t even apologize. Horrible experience and buyer beware!!

The Mattress Firm store manager repeatedly lied about return policies of the store. I purchased a mattress on Jan. 8 and returned it in like-new condition on January 21st. The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable causing back problems to become inflamed. A promised refund was not submitted and I am having to work with another store to try to get my money back. Manager never mentioned a 20% return fee telling me I could return within 100 days at no charge. I have a turn receipt, dated January 21, signed by the Service Manager stating the mattress was returned in like-new condition. If a zero stars was possible, that's what I'd give this store.
The manager lied to me and is not returning my money. BEWARE ALL SHOPPERS! Double check everything and don't buy into "You can return it any time within 100 days for a full refund". When I returned it, I was told about a 20% restocking fee (never mentioned when I bought the mattress), and ultimately was not credited one dime of my purchase price even though I have a return statement by the Service manager that it was returned "like new." You can't complain about anything to the corporate office as they refer you directly to the store only. When I called the store today, I got a bunch of mumbo jumbo from some guy who said he'd have to call me back. No return call.

I order Mattress from Mattress Firm and when I purchased, salesperson named Ricardo ** promised me a free return and exchange and 120 nights free. When We try to exchange they refused and charge us $200 and told us that they can't do anything. And we have to pay $200 or more for replacement. REALLY?? So we totally feel cheated and never ever TRUST ON THIS MATTRESS FIRM. SO I suggest please stay away from these people and do not trust salesperson else get everything written or in email so later on you can show them and fight with them. THEY are BIG CHEATERS in MARKET!!

I just moved into a new to me home and decided I wanted a new bed. I went to Mattress Firm thinking I was dealing with a reputable company since you cannot go to a physical store to try out beds. I talked with a phone agent on the phone and online. I purchased a Sleepy bed with the foundation. The next day I decided I did not want the foundation because I was going to get a platform bed. I went online. Canceled the foundation. Received a email stating it was canceled.
Ten days later my new bed with the foundation arrives so I sent the foundation back. I was still billed $175 for a foundation. You cannot talk to a human after the order is placed. It is strictly online after you place the order. So basically they make the sell and run away. It's sad because i have a guest bedroom I am getting a bed for and I will not be purchasing it from Mattress Firm. They are like the shady car salesmen that runs away the moment they collect their money. I will never recommend them to anyone.

We purchased a queen Beautyrest Black Katrice from Mattress Firm which turned out to be a huge mistake. We wanted a mattress that did not move and disturb one of us when the other one got up during the night. We expressed to the salesperson that this was the most important concern we had in purchasing a mattress. We were assured that this was the mattress for us and it would be firm enough to meet our concerns. We purchased the mattress, paying $2,600.00 on sale with a 10 year warranty.
After about a year, it started breaking down. Something went wrong in the middle and we’d roll to the middle of the bed. Getting up without waking up the other person is impossible as there is constant motion from the smallest movement. We filed a claim with Mattress Firm sending photos as they requested. They refused to do anything as the problem with the mattress did not meet Serta’s requirements for replacement. I told them that I felt that Mattress Firm should replace it since we were deceived by their salesperson. We did not hear anything else from them. We are stuck with a mattress that we cannot get any rest on thanks to a salesperson that only cared about making a sale and not the customer. I would never recommend this mattress nor Mattress Firm to anyone.

Giving 1-Star is too high to say the very least! There should be a Zero or Negative scale because this company is a legit scheme at best. Like the countless other customers, I wish I had read reviews prior to making my purchase a couple of years ago. They advertise a 10-year Warranty Guarantee which is not the truth by a landslide. For over a year now, I have been trying to get my son's mattress replaced because it is now indented and sagging and what we thought- still under our 10-year Warranty. Ha! One is lucky if they get a 1-day, 1-week, 1-month Warranty out of these people.
The Store Personnel are of NO help, stating that Headquarters does not allow them to assist with the Warranty Process. The Online Warranty process is a MAJOR FAIL because it either kicks you out of the system or doesn't process the request properly. Tried calling Customer Service and that is a 24-hour Automated ATROCITY because you can NEVER get through to anyone. Attempted to email, and turned out to be yet another EPIC FAIL. So in summary, all the consumer gets is a dead-end run-around.
To offer you a tiny glimpse of my experience, I returned to the store of original purchase (955 Ernest W. Barrett Parkway, NW Suite B- Kennesaw, GA 30144) to have their Sales Reps and Managers- yes, with a "S" = multiple employees to try the exact same process I had for over a month, only to realize with grave embarrassment that their efforts, like mine, had led to nowhere. In fact, one of the Store Managers admitted that this was A CONSTANT KNOWN ISSUE, and further shared that the mattress I thought I had purchased- which totaled well over $3,000 mind you, is NOT what the original salesperson even captured on my paperwork!!
He showed me where she captured the incorrect mattress name and everything = MORE ISSUES!! We have proof of purchase, photographic proof of brand + all other details associated, along with the present day issues and yet, it's a "yeah, sorry ma'am...we know we're wrong and took the wrong steps, but do you mind just eating it up and buying a new one?"...uh, NO and NO THANK YOU!!!
With the number of complaints and negative reviews captured, it's a wonder why and how this company remains in business. Perhaps it is because they operate under several different names = BUYER DEFINITELY BEWARE!! As you can see, their employees from Corporate Office down into the Stores, know that they are operating in, of, and on poor business ethics, processing, morals, and trickery!! And yet again, the biggest question remains, WHY and HOW do they manage to truly stay in business?! THIS IS A MATTER OF HEALTH at this point people!
No one should not have to suffer and have created for them, what could become life-long issues with a healthy sleep pattern (now potential unhealthy/sleep disruption), spinal alignment (now potential misalignments), muscle aches, and pains- all matters that can lead to many other challenges mentally and physically, and all due to this company's misleading and false advertising, negligence, and utter dishonesty.
At this point, I simply want to expose them and their scheming business ways. I want every media outlet in the world to know and put them on blast so that other consumers become educated and aware. News Stations (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, BBC, MSNBC, etc.- want a good news story? Need a 60-minute highlight? PLEASE run one on this so-called company!) Social Media (FaceBook, Instagram, Twitter, any applicable platform- please show these people's ratings and company operations in true light!) There should be warning signs, posted consumer grades, reviews, and ratings right at the door upon entering and atop of their websites! This is by far one of the WORST EXPERIENCES EVER!!! 5-Thumbs Down Mattress Firm + any and all affiliates! This is by far #UncivilizedBusiness #FalseAdvertising #AwfulCustomerService.

First the website wouldn't process my order, nothing wrong with my card I called and checked. Then once it finally gets processed they tell me 2-3 days delivery. 3 days later I'm told 7-10 days. Now today, the next day, I'm told 10-14 days. I asked for to cancel my order and to be refunded my money. Once the order was canceled they then told me that the refund would take 10-14 days. This company is horribly mismanaged, unorganized, and the customer service is clueless once you actually get to talk to somebody. I would rate this experience as being on my top 10 list of biggest mistakes I ever made. Don't make the same, support the smaller family businesses like I will in 10-14 days.

MATTRESS FIRM IS A WASTE OF TIME. Do NOT purchase a SINGLE thing from this useless company and their “gotcha” tactics. They deliver a bed, claim there’s a 21-day return policy, and when I want to return it because the bed is NOT firm as they claim, I call the number, but the number tells you to go online and use the chat. There’s no way to connect to an actual agent on the phone. Even when you try to select another option that connects you to an agent, it tells you that they have no access to current orders (which should tell you how often people are wanting to return or ask about their product). So when I go to chat, every single time, without fail, there is no agent available to chat with. Then it points to requesting service by providing your email your phone number, etc.
Once I do get an emailed response, it tells me they can EXCHANGE (NOT return) the bed for MORE than it costs PLUS 20% restocking fee. What kind of business do these idiots run? I replied but got no response, and you’re just stuck with a crappy purchase. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND JUST GET AN IKEA PURCHASE; these buffoons are not worth the blatant disrespect.

As we were shopping for a mattress, the salesperson would never tell us exactly how much something would cost and was vague about details. We came to like a model that would cost over 10,000.00. We wanted to think about it overnight but were told the deal was only good for the night. It was stated that we were getting a special deal as the sale was already over but the signs weren't down so they would honor it. We felt pressured to put down a deposit--which we were assured we could get back the next day if we weren't prepared yet to buy the bed. We paid the deposit with a check. I specifically asked if I would be able to get the deposit back the next day if we still needed time to think.
The next morning I went back to the store to tell them we still needed time to think about spending 10,000 on this bed. My check was there in the drawer but they wouldn't give it back to me. The manager had it is in hand---but said he needed approval to give it to me. He called his boss who didn't answer the phone and then he called the big boss. They said they would get right back to him. After a few hours, the manager of the store called me to say they could not give me the check back, they would have to cash it and then I would get a refund in 20 or so days. Sad to say--we were going to buy that bed from Mattress Firm---but no more. I will never spend a dime in a Mattress Firm store again.

January 2008 I bought two Sleepy's mattresses king-size. Within a year and a half they both came apart around the edge. Warranty department will not warranty it. I fight with them for months. They nit and pick at every little detail to try to void the warranty. Comes down to it I have a platform bed. You don’t need a boxspring. That’s how they void The warranty. They say I have to have a boxspring underneath the mattress if not the warranty is voided. Do not buy from Mattress Firm. Worst experience ever.

I ordered a mattress and adjustable base from Mattress Firm. It was to be delivered on 12/26. According to tracking, it was delivered that day. It was not delivered. Now the delivery date has changed to 1/15/21. I got rid of the bed we had because I expected it to be delivered, now I have no bed for my mom who is about to be released from the hospital. I went to a local Mattress Firm store and the rep tried to help me. He made several calls trying to get the bed from another warehouse. (I would have given 1 star but gave 2 stars because of this individual.) I don't understand how I can get a date and 2-hour window for delivery, then I am told I have to wait 3 more weeks because it is not available. Where is my merchandise? No one can tell me what happened. In the meantime, I have no bed for a sick parent.

My new bed was delivered with mice in it and Mattress Firm will do nothing. They want a video of the lumps in the mattress moving around, which they do, because he doesn't take my word for it. Haven't been able to catch video. They sleep all day, I sleep, or try to, all night. I thought I was going crazy, but there are many similar stories online. Waiting for another call back now, but whatever they say this time, this mattress must go today!

Thanksgiving week spent $600 on mattress and box spring for 12 year old. Paid for delivery. Almost exactly a month later both were sagging and broken. Did warranty claim, approved, read fine print, didn't agree with having to pay $100 for delivery again, when a month earlier I had paid for delivery and expected a good product. Took letter to Tomball store, manager would not work with me, did not attempt to make an exception, didn't offer any discounts, it was black and white and his way or nothing. Frustration set in and I let him know I would not pay for delivery again since it had only been a month...So he needed to figure out a way to make it right.
His solution: told me basically is what it is, he was the manager, the employees across the street worked for him, nothing he could do. I could take the mattress myself to their warehouse on my time, my gas, and my dime, and that was that. I went on warranty chat because they don't have a way to actually speak to a person and they said store personnel was able to make an exception, and I showed him the message. He didn't care, he kicked me out, I refused to leave, he called the cops, I waited, explained everything to them, store manager called his boss, after all was said and done, got new mattress and box spring delivered at no charge the next day. All he had to do from the get go...I am now banned from the Tomball store next to McDonalds in Tomball, TX for 6 months. I banned myself for life.
Anyway, worst customer service ever...had the mattress set for 4 weeks...Even the delivery guys said it looked like a cheaper version of what they were delivering and all they were going to do was toss them. MF is not losing any money...HE CALLED THE POLICE ON ME ONLY TO END UP DOING WHAT I ASKED FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE...I recorded the entire situation and exchange.

My girlfriend and I bought a mattress in August and within a week, a sinkhole formed. We filed for our warranty in September and waited until December just to have a technician come out to take pictures. After another two weeks of not hearing back, I called and found out we were denied because MattressFirm messed up on their end of the paperwork during the initial sale. MattressFirm finally agreed to do an exchange except they didn’t have our mattress in stock. This left us with the option of getting a cheaper mattress and having the difference in-store credit or paying more for another mattress.
After some back and forth, they finally upgraded our mattress for an even exchange but the new mattress came even worse than the first one. They refused to do anything claiming “they already helped us out.” This has been a nightmare as my girlfriend has been having back problems due to sleeping on a mattress with no support at all. MattressFirm works through third parties and doesn’t care what happens after the sale because they already have your money. The third-party makes it very difficult to process a warranty in hopes that you just give up and eat the loss. DO NOT SHOP AT MATTRESS FIRM.

I bought a mattress from Mattress Firm in Nov 2017. After 1.5 years it was already starting to lose support on one side. I submitted a warranty and it was denied because they claimed a shadow was a stain. I talked to them to explain and they said I would have to have third party look at it for $79. I didn't do it and now 2 years later I submitted a new claim since it's now impossible to get a good night's sleep anymore. I used better lighting and no Shadow, explained that there is no support and still they denied it. I don't see why I should have to pay money for them to honor their warranty. So I'm done with them. Wish I did better research before I bought. So I'm doing my research now and looking at a Sleep Number.

I went in to purchase a new mattress and adjustable base. I was very specific in what I wanted. I asked for a plush pillowtop mattress. I was told they didn't have the particular mattress on the sales floor but he could order it. For the mattress and the adjustable base the receipt read 2189.59. After looking at my receipt it stated that the mattress was used. I asked the sales associate Marco why would he try and push a used mattress on me without my knowledge, and he stated that I could get it quicker if I took a used one.
After making him aware of the deceit that I noticed on my receipt regarding a used mattress that I didn't ask for, he said he changed it to a new mattress. So I went to Value City and saw exactly what I wanted and for cheaper price, so I went back to Mattress Firm and asked for a complete refund. Marco stated that if I kept my order with them he could price match Value City and get me a sooner delivery date than what Value City was offering. He also stated that he couldn't honor a refund once I left the store.
When he adjusted the price match my receipt read a medium pillowtop and I brought that to his attention. I stated why did the receipt say medium when I asked for plush pillowtop. He stated, Value City's merchandise read Plush pillowtop but mattress firm's is the same identical item but just says medium firm. He assured me that I didn't have anything to worry about and it was indeed a plush pillowtop even though the receipt said medium firm. He stated that Value City uses a different manufacturer than Mattress Firm but the product is identical but labeled differently.
On 11/27/2020 my order was delivered and my mattress was a medium instead of the plush that I asked for. I called the same day and he promised that it was the exact mattress but theirs said medium instead of plush. He asked me to try it out for three weeks and I told him no because that's not what I ordered. After sleeping on the mattress for one day, I was in a great deal of pain from the hardness of the mattress. So I went back into the store to get a full refund and he told me that I would only get a small portion of my money back do to the promotions. So I asked for the mattress that I had originally purchased which was the plush pillowtop and he stated that they no longer sold that one after assuring me that is what I had ordered.
I asked him why did he tell me that the medium firm was identical to the pillowtop plush when that was untrue. So the only choice he left me with was to keep a mattress that I didn't order, buy a more expensive one or get a refund for less than half of the purchase price. Marco stated that in order to have a plush pillowtop mattress, I had to spend an additional 385.00. I had no choice because I couldn't sleep on the one that they sold me under false pretenses, and I couldn't get a full refund. This establishment took full advantage of me. I never got to see the mattress in the store. Marco stated that it's impossible to keep all the mattresses at their location. I am not even sure that this mattress is used.

I bought this mattress last Tuesday for a guest room and it was delivered the following day. It wasn't until Sunday that we made the bed up with mattress cover and sheets. We bought a platform frame instead of box springs. The mattress slips off the frame. I called not even a week after purchase and said I couldn't keep it if it slips off the frame. I was told that by the manager, M ** that if I had bought a heavier mattress that this would not happen. Hmmm If you knew that when I bought it why didn't you advise me of that. The return policy is this... I have to keep the mattress in my house for 30 days before they will consider returning it?!?! and there is a 20% restocking fee and the frame is not returnable. BUYERS BEWARE... I have a very large home and I have purchase many many mattresses in my days but I have never heard of such crazy return policies. Do yourself a favor and buy from some place else.

Shop online from a direct to buyer company. $99 “delivery fee” (Mattress Firm calls it Gold Service in-home set up) would be easier to swallow if returns/exchanges were free. Oh sure I could’ve not paid it, but then I would’ve had to carry the mattress to the 2nd floor myself? Very underhanded. I didn’t even have anything for them to take away. Then 10% restocking fee PLUS $99 to return it and another $99 for an exchange is disappointing. Shame on me for not doing my research or explicitly asking in the store. Shame on the store employee for not offering that information especially after I asked about the return policy and sleep trial. I imagine this is why brick and mortars are drying up and people turn to online, direct to buyer shopping.
As for the delivery, the delivery guys parked the truck in an area that impeded traffic in and out of the parking garage. I was directing traffic to prevent accidents around the blind spot they caused. They refused to move the truck and thought it was funny. They unboxed in the truck without letting me see what was being delivered. They did not confirm the products with me nor did they explain why they were taking pictures, which I can only guess was to confirm delivery. One seemed to speak little English; the other even less. There was very little communication.

I purchased a mattress online and was given a delivery date. Delivery was never made. I tried calling customer service but there is no option to speak to a person. I finally got someone on chat after having to go through a robotic chat. I told the person to cancel my order. I was informed that she could not do that but someone would call me within 48 hours. I’m very disappointed in the whole process. I would not recommend this company.

I wish I had read the reviews before I walked in the Mattress Firm Lynbrook store, with 2 stars reviews I would have steered clear of this store and you should too! I hesitated to order a mattress from Amazon thinking about what a return, if needed, would be like, but in hindsight at least it would have been possible. I wanted to buy an average mattress, nothing too expensive. The saleswoman was showing me expensive mattresses. When I kept repeating that I wanted something less expensive she suggested a mattress that was “used.” She assured me they were practically like new, They were mattresses that were returned by customers that purchased and then didn’t like them and returned them within a short period and had practically no wear on them. They went thru a cleaning process much more rigorous than hotel mattresses. She had the “exact” mattress that I ordered in the showroom (yeah right!) for me to try. It felt great, supportive but comfortable.
Boy, did she take me for a ride! The mattress that was delivered to my house was nowhere near what I tried in the showroom. When I tried it, it felt like I was laying on a bale of hay, no support. You just sank all the way in the mattress and lumpy. When I called they said, "Sorry no returns! But we just happen to have a sale and I will give you a $200.00 discount on a brand new mattress." Really? Was I born Yesterday? You just happen to have a sale and you are going to give me $200.00 off a new mattress that I have to pour a lot more money into with a price that you hiked up so you can take your $200 “sale” price off??! Don’t bother with these unethical sales people. Online is a better bet, better price and you can return it if you are not happy!

We purchases a Sleepy's mattress in Mattress Firm store in West Palm Beach about 18 months ago. In this time the mattress has a huge hole where my husband sleeps. The hole goes all the way to the bottom of the mattress. We filed a claim and were offered 20% off another mattress. We paid $900 for this mattress and it is a flimsy and cheap mattress which is not what we expected for this price. It is amazing that a company can do this to the public. I am going to go to the state attorney to see if there is any way for them to help us. Oh and by the way, Mattress Firm charges you $69 to come out to look at your mattress to determine your claim status. This is an outrage b/c we cannot afford another mattress right now. The mattress is so cheap that you cannot even turn it over to the other side. The other side is not mattress material, it is more like box spring material. Stay away from Mattress Firm.

First of all, they have no customer service other than chat. Try the number yourself, it just directs you to the website regardless of what option you select. Secondly, they are worse than a shady used car salesman. They kept trying to upsell me on everything, from the bed, to the base. When we finally worked out a deal, I asked them to apply the Veteran's discount that THEY emailed me about and they said they wouldn't honor it. She said "It will come out of my commission that I need to feed my family." I picked them specifically for the Veteran's discount and it seems that was just a trick to get me to talk to a sales rep. Don't let them push you around, go somewhere honest.

I ordered 2 beds through Mattress Firm the last part of September and was promised a delivery date of 10/30! Now they have just sent me an email claiming that the delivery has been delayed with no date in sight! Oh I’m very pissed! Had I known that they were going to pull this I would have ordered from another company!! Very dishonest!

Initially, we were frustrated with our experience, but after speaking with the salesperson "Mike" he rectify the issue and went above and beyond to make sure that we were content. He wrote up an invoice with exactly what we wanted and followed up with us the following day to make sure that everything was aligned. He even extended his personal cell phone so that we have an open dialogue during the purchase process. We highly felt that Mike was working hard at making us happy from a customer's perspective. We are very gracious with Mike's experience. I would highly recommend him.

I’m writing this to see if anyone else has the same problem as we were told by the mattress company and base company there were no issues with either. We purchased a mattress last Sept. and received the free adjustable base but paid extra for the foot adjustments. The mattress is not flat, feel like we are on an angle. To their credit, they replaced the mattress and a technician came out and said the base just needed adjustment. That didn’t work. They insisted there was NO issue but clearly there is a hump in middle of mattress and a year later we are still sleeping on a slope. Very frustrating!!! Paid all that money and have to sleep on a defective bed.

If they’d said they were having issues with back orders, I’d have chosen something else. They also “moderate” the ratings on their website. Unsurprisingly, they have overly skewed positive ratings.

Only 1 year into owning a Sleepy's brand mattress, purchased at Mattress Firm. The mattress sags tremendously in each location where my wife and I sleep. After reaching out to Mattress firm for a warranty claim, they quickly denied the claim, stating that our bed frame has voided the warranty. A bed frame that properly supported the previous mattress for 10+ years without issue. Stay away from this awful company! They denied our claim in less than 4 business hours. Guess that would be one positive; their response time was impeccable.

This review is to inform customers who want what is advertised. We purchased this bed in 2018 and it was priced at $2044 (valuable pricing) and we were so excited for a great night rest. Instead with we received has been a utter nightmare. Upon the first delivery we received a i300 instead of a i500, we waited a week or so for the second delivery. We received our new bed and within 6 months it was falling apart, Mattress firm honored our warranty and we received our 3rd new bed. Fast forward to 6 months later the bed is falling apart again. Mattress firm denied our warranty due to a blotch. I do not recommend purchasing from Mattress Firm, and if so -please read all fine print.

I purchased a mattress on 9/7 - with a live agent from Mattress Firm. His name is Levon **. This purchase is confirmed with an email for a delivery date of 9/27. On 9/26, I call just to confirm. I find out from an agent that the mattress is out of stock. There was no follow up at all. I was promised a phone call from a manager and this did not occur. Follow up emails from Stephanie ** only offered a lesser model. I still did not get to talk to live person. When I finished emailing Stephanie **, she did not follow up like she promised. The next day, I called yet again. Adriana answered and said I probably ordered a custom bed. This is not the case. She also did not have my email on file. I have canceled this order. False advertising and lack of professionalism. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.
