    Ty really came thru for us! He listened to our questions and concerns and satisfied us on both accounts. We bought an extra-firm queen mattress. He gave us a great price and threw in some freebies for us as well. Ty sweetened the deal. We had delivery on the day specified. The guys set it up and left no mess. Best experience I've had buying a mattress. Ty was the reason. He definitely "scored" a TD for us!

    A couple weeks after my Beautyrest mattress was delivered I discovered that it came with a bonus, bed bugs. Fortunately we were able to eradicate them before they became an infestation. A year later a canyon 4 inches deep and three feet long formed. Most likely because the fasteners holding the coils together failed (educated guess). They declined the warranty because I had three slats instead of five. The mattress is on top of a box spring that fully supports it. The box spring is in perfect condition with absolutely no deformations. Again, the mattress is on top of the box spring. The box spring is on top of the slats. There is absolutely no possibility that the number of slats affected the mattress. NOT POSSIBLE! They used the slats as an excuse to weasel out of the warranty. This is unacceptable from a company that is supposed to produce quality products.

    They will sell you a junk product and not honor the warranty. I wish I had done more research on the company. Now don't have a bed because the legs fell off of mine. Seeing all the negative reviews I feel like we should all sue or at least call Consumer Protection.

    I purchased a premium Serta I Series premium mattress in 2023. There was always a sensation of the mattress rolling you out of bed because support on the edges is not adequate. It finally became intolerable. I submitted a warranty claim. Mattress Firm required verification of my warranty claim through taking photos and demonstrating sagging of the mattress. Obviously memory foam is one issue, but inadequate edge support and warm springs is a second one.

    Apparently, my photos showed 1 inch of sagging instead of the one and a half inches that Mattress Firm requires. I had explained that the memory foam top was not the primary issue. They still rejected my warranty claim. They did not leave room for any further discussion. I feel very ripped off. Now I have to purchase a new mattress can the additional money I spent on the warranty was a big waste! If you want to purchase a mattress from a store that stands behind their product, don't buy it from Mattress Firm. They appear to be going out of business anyway. There's never anybody in the store.

    Went online to order a box spring for a pick up at the Rocky Mount North Carolina location. Once the box Spring was picked up brought back to my home for bed assembly. We had the better assembled and I happened to see the one corner of the box. Spring is all torn up down to the wood that apparently it had been dragged apparently for quite some time due to the damage. The bad covering the box. Spring is also torn about halfway down. As just more evidence that the mattress has been dragged. I've called the store numerous times in the weeks since I've purchased this. Nobody ever answers the phone. You always get voicemail to leave a message for a call back and they won't call you back. I call customer service. Don't have any satisfaction there. Get somebody else on the phone and she said, "Do you want me to put a message out for the district manager to give a call?" I suppose it's explained to me What that will do for me...

    Next thing I know the chat is disconnected. I think the only thing left to do is send to 2 big guys. I wouldn't have picked it app for me to go back tomorrow and try to get something done at that store. Because the Rocky Mount store is ridiculously. Horrible, don't answer the phone, won't call you back. Mattress Firm and General will not back their products. DO NOT BUY FROM MATTRESS FIRM!!!!

    In store staff was great, however the product not so much. I purchased the Posturepedic Plus Hybrid High Point 14" Firm Mattress - Prime - King. It was $2,500, and I thought I was making a great investment. However, I was wrong. The mattress did not hold up well, and is everything but firm, especially when it comes to lumbar support. I ended up with months of back pain before I started sleeping in guest bedroom with different mattress. Back pain resolved. They offer a 120 night sleep trial, and the mattress will probably last that long but not much after that. I decided to make a warranty claim. I took the time to break the bed down to show photos of the mattress, support system (which was great) and box springs (which was also purchased at their store with their recommendation) then submit warranty photos.

    I quickly got a response that my claim was denied. When I questioned as to why, they said “it looks fine from the photos”. They basically stated that they don’t care what the mattress feels like only what pictures show. They said they could send a technician out for $80 to actually test out the mattress. I think they were surprised I agreed and very quickly responded that they actually don’t have any technicians….Just not the experience I thought I would have from buying from what I thought was a reputable company.

    Defective products, warranty not honored or you have to pay 250 per defective unit. You'll have to pay extra for the company to bring new product to replace the defective and the cost of the shipper as well. If you got a zero percent deal and need to use the card you lose the rate. The process for a claim is super frustrating. The credit company Synchrony is not much help either. Not getting anywhere is a refund. You won't get a sale or deal with an exchange either. The company is nothing but dishonest and Fraudulent. You'll be left with defective products that you have to pay extra for to get replaced. Est. 1000 dollars extra for exchanging.

    I'm DIANA, I GOT A BED IN SUN CITY CENTER Blvd. A NICE MAN NAMED TIM REALLY WENT OVER AND BEYOND TO HELP ME WITH MY ORDER.     Well they saw you a garbage product and then they make you wait a long time for them to fix it even though the product itself is just crap and cannot be fixed. But they're not going to offer you every fun. No. They're not going to. They're going to make you wait and wait and wait and wait with no bed. So if you feel the way that I feel you should reach out and perhaps we can all come together and fix this problem.

    The delivery guys showed up and told me their truck was too big and they would be at my house until 10:03 am to talk with me. At 9:57 am, I made eye contact with the delivery guy as I walked down my driveway. He jumped in the truck as the driver sped away. I called to tell them I had two pickup trucks and two workers at my house to help. The dispatcher told me they would return in one minute. The delivery app set a pin on the truck, which was parked literally in my backyard! They stayed parked in the truck for at least 20 minutes, while the dispatcher told me the truck was too far away to return (it was parked in my backyard).

    I purchased 2 mattresses, 2 mattress bases and an adjustable base. The people who delivered the mattresses had no idea how to set anything up or we were sold the wrong size. Never got a clear answer. Sent one base back with the delivery drivers. Found out the adjustable base won’t work with our frame. They left it for me to set up by myself which was not possible for me to do alone, heavy and complicated. The people who delivered assured me that I’d have no problem. Finally got the adjustable base set up and it only works intermittently. Can’t file a warranty claim because it requires a picture of the base and I’m not strong enough to lift the mattress off of it. I called the store and an unhelpful employee just referred me back to the website. I’ll never buy anything here again. Nothing but problems.

    We ordered mattress. When we placed order we were told 9 weeks for delivery. We agreed and paid full amount. After 9 weeks we received a call saying your mattress will be delivered tomorrow. You are number 6 on the route. We waited all day. Finally called customer service. Gentleman named George from local store said let me find out and let you know. Hour passed by and no word. So we called back. He said he has not heard from warehouse. We asked can you call. He said I don't have their phone no. I can only send email. Next day they said your order is cancelled.

    I purchased a Purple Mattress. 10 yr warranty. After 6 yrs spring broke through causing rip. They voided my warranty due to defect in mattress causing rip. You will never find anyone to speak to in warranty department. Email with no reply is all you get. Store can't help either. Not accredited by BBB either.     Based on an online ad I decided to buy a Sealy Posturepedic® Elite Hybrid High Point II 14" Soft Mattress King from Mattress Firm. Long story short, the price at the store was higher than the price on the ad. I wanted it though so I bought it anyway (it’s awesome). But it bothered me that the ad was deceptive so I wrote an email to Mattress Firm corporate. Two days after I sent it they called. We had a great conversation, they made a couple of good points, I made a couple good points and at the end of the call they said they said they could see my side of it and sent me the difference. I am impressed with their response, most huge corporations wouldn’t bother.

    Purchased a $4000 Beautyrest black plush pillowtop. When delivered I called the store immediately because I just could tell this mattress had been used. Tags were hanging off and corners were bent down. The mattress rather than being firmer than the one in the store, was much, much softer like it had been broken in. I tolerated it for ten days but my already inoperable back was getting worse every day. I requested a refund and my salesman arranged pickup no problem.

    When the delivery men arrived only one came in to get the mattress. I asked if he had a helper because the mattress is 185 lbs. So he went out and came back with a little skinny ** guy. As soon as he saw the mattress he decided he wasn't picking it up. They brought no plastic to cover the mattress, instead used the plastic left from the delivery of my new mattress from elsewhere. The little skinny guy immediately started saying the mattress had stains on it around the pillowtop. There was no dirt, no stains, nothing. The mattress was so saggy it was ridiculous. I started arguing with the guy and he called his boss. I insisted the mattress be taken. I called my family to come and my daughter videotaped the whole thing. I chased them from my home while I called my salesman.

    A short time later they returned with a dolly to help them lift the mattress. On the way out they set it down in the dirt, not Caring about stains then!! I’m 105 lbs and used this mattress for only ten nights. I had a hotel grade mattress protector on it which they threw on the floor and stepped all over. I’ve read similar reviews. They think you’ll be intimidated because you’re all e when they come for pickup and they try to get out of taking mattresses back by saying they’re dirty or stained. Scams!!! Buyer beware… You might be getting used goods!!!

    You cannot trust all of these reviews. Before I filed a warranty claim, I read how difficult it was for The Mattress Firm to handle PURPLE complaints. Turns out this was Bull**it! My issue was handled in a most professional way, not problems at all. Offered great choices of replacement mattresses since I did not want another PURPLE. Made my choice, scheduled delivery and everything went smoothly. Delivery was professional and on time. To cap it off, they threw in a pillow since my choice did not come up to my allowance. Great firm, highly recommend them!

    NO STARS! Do not buy from Mattress Firm. My husband and I recently visited a Mattress Firm in hopes of finding a replacement mattress but also wanted to compare a purple mattress with a Sleep Number. We received our quote and decided to purchase two Purple pillows as the salesperson reassured us that if we didn't like them we could return. Well, you know the end of the story. Despite Purple's return pillow policy, Mattress Firm does not hold to those same standards. We were lied to and after two unrestful sleep nights we are now stuck with 2 pillows that cost $437.24. Shame on you Mattress Firm and of course shame on me for trusting a salesperson.

    My experience at Mattress Firm was below par on all levels. My price range wasn't respected and I was treated like a child. The manager at the store, Craig, is very pushy, condescending and cold. He is only concerned with the "sale" and his little Google reviews. The bed I purchased was a Sealy with the lumbar support. I have never experienced back pain in my life and the lumbar support when lying on the one I have in my home has a hump in it that hits below S1. This mattress comes folded in a box...and I am expected to walk on it every day for 60 days?

    I just left the store after explaining this very calmly and Craig, in his condescending manner, told me that I needed to wait the 60 days to give it a chance or else it would be my last exchange? I have only had it 8 nights and I am now sleeping on my couch. He did not show any empathy about my back hurting nor did he remember who I was lol, it hasn't even been 2 weeks since I bought it. I am contacting customer service to make a corporate complaint and if this doesn't get resolved I will be contacting the attorney general for resolution. No way I am paying a restocking fee for this bed. The contract was broken when the bed is claiming lumbar support and it is hitting below my lumbar vertebrae.

    I purchased a mattress and frame and paid 150$ for set up. I made the purchase on a Friday. I was promised delivery on Saturday. No call no show. Then I was told Sunday. They gave me a 12 hr. window. They showed up at 730 pm. They refused to set up the bed then the delivery team went back and told their boss that I said Racial slurs to them. Now I'm out the 150 and I have to hire someone to put it together.

    8/21/2025 I purchased a BeautyRest Pressure Smart 2.0 Firm mattress on January 17, 2024, after having back surgery the same month. The mattress is already falling apart and sagging. I unfortunately removed the tag and have misplaced it. Mattress Firm has denied a warranty claim without the tag even though I have my receipt and they have the record of my purchase. It was a $1000 twin size mattress. I understand it's my fault for misplacing the tag, but regardless, the quality of the mattress is garbage for being only 18 months old. I highly recommend staying away from Mattress Firm. The manufacturer told me that Mattress Firm could make an exception in my case but Mattress Firm chose not to. Beware if you happen to remove your tag, put it in a SAFE place.

    I am writing regarding a serious issue with a mattress I purchased from Mattress Firm (floor model Purple mattress) at your Port Jefferson location in June. The mattress was delivered to me approximately two weeks after purchase. Within a week of use, I began developing severe bites all over my body. I have since seen a dermatologist four times, and I have now been diagnosed with scabies—something that could have been living in the mattress. I live alone, have no outside exposure that could have caused this, and the timing aligns directly with the delivery of this mattress.

    When I called the Port Jefferson store to report this, the manager was extremely dismissive and rude. This experience has left me not only distressed, but also facing ongoing medical issues and expenses. I expect Mattress Firm to take this matter seriously and address it immediately. If this is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to pursue the matter further, including through small claims court. I regret to say that because of this experience, I will never purchase from Mattress Firm again and will be sharing my experience publicly to caution others.

    Needed a cheaper firm mattress that hopefully would last a couple years. Did not even last three months. Mattress Firm wants to do nothing but keep your money. They charge a $250 restocking fee. After going through the claims process, uploading pictures and jumping through all the hoops, Then Dan says they charge another hundred dollar fee to pick up the mattress and the remaining can be used to go towards another mattress. In this instance little over 100 bucks. Called customer service. They said I had to wait 129th sleep trial before they could do anything as far as an actual warranty goes. Then she told me the same thing. "Mattress Firm will not refund your money ever." They don’t stand behind their products.

    Why don’t you ask all these questions before they buy a mattress Mattress Firm? Having some pictures of box springs having them send pictures of frames all the questions you wanna know when there’s an issue. I will never be buying for mattress firm ever again and nothing will come out of my mouth good for this company that hopefully goes bankrupt soon.

    We went into the North Bannock store in Denver and had the absolute best experience with our salesman, Noah. He was not pushy, well educated with anything my wife asked and she asks a lot of questions. He told us that he always takes care of his customers and he did that, he went above and beyond and was so professional and honest. Noah’s communication is top notch.     I purchased a mattress at Mattress Firm at 74th Ave. and Bell Road. The mattress I selected was $1100, but was on sale for 50% off so I paid the 550.00. The set up fee plus the tax which came to approximately $934.00. The Mattress had early stages of sagging, so I went to the store in order to make a return and purchase a little better Mattress. The salesman told me that I would have to pay full price for another mattress because it was not on sale, The Mattress I found that would work for me was $1500. They would give me $450 credit and I would have to Pay an additional $650 plus tax, so my $550 mattress just went up to $1150. Absolutely no consideration for the fact that I purchased the mattress at 50% off.

    Basically, if you can’t find a mattress on sale, your return policy is totally irrelevant after looking on the comments on this site as well as Yelp and several others. Mattress Firm has a 2.5 out of five star rating with a lot of angry customers. Mattress Firm has found a way to keep the sham going for years, I would suggest going somewhere else to find a mattress that gives you a guarantee they will stand behind without penalizing you for returning it.

    Do not buy a mattress from Mattress Firm. There is no warranty coverage despite what they advertise, market or tell you. I purchased a Beautyrest mattress that sagged excessively after 6 months. Mattress Firm assesses sagging using a test that is guaranteed to NEVER expose any sagging, despite the very noticeable feel of the mattress when using it. It's a farce and they are misleading consumers and will never honor this fake warranty.

    First off the store experience was great, the selection on purchasing the mattress was easy. The delivery was great and right on time, and the mattress was awesome. But what I found out later about the free no interest charge program is terrible. So yes it is interest free for up to 8 years, what they don't tell you is there is a promotional fee attached to the bill each and every month. This free is way more that the interest rate fee would ever be. So buyer beware. No such thing as interest free with Mattress Firm.

    I purchased a Sleep's bunkie board. Delivery date said next day. On delivery day, I wait and wait. Radio silence. It never comes. I purchased it online. I tried to get support online, and it just connected me to a local store. Local store associate says they are totally separate, but then sets up delivery for me. This is appalling. Why did I have to call to set up delivery if it had a delivery date. Then, after it's delivered, I want to return it. No returns. So much for the sleep trial. Very deceptive and scammy.

    Will absolutely never purchase from Mattress Firm ever again. A waste of $300 on a bed frame that came with support bars too short to work, scratched my wood floor and completely broke after a few months.

    Salesperson Diane at the Inglewood location lied twice to secure a sale. I called the store to order a bunkie board for a bed frame I just purchased. The next day (7/4/25) I went to the same store to purchase a mattress and the same salesperson Diane assisted me. I explained that I now need a new mattress since my sleep number mattress is not compatible with my new frame. Once we selected a mattress, Diane showed us their adjustable mattress bases. My husband and I were sold on it until I realized it’s too tall for my platform frame and I was concerned about the triangular brackets in all four corners of my bed frame preventing base from fitting inside.

    I showed her a photo and told her I don’t think we can use the adjustable base because my bed is too low (platform bed) and I do not think it will fit properly inside the frame due to triangular corner brackets designed to hold a bunkie board in place. Diane’s exact words were,” I have seen frames like this many times; trust me it will fit”. I said what about the tall legs. She said the legs are adjustable and can go as low as 2 inches (that was half-truth, the lowest height is about 4 -5 inches). So, on her advice, we cancelled the order for the bunkie board.

    The mattress and adjustable base were delivered on 7/5/25 and my fears were realized. The delivery guys said the brackets on my bed frame are in the way so the base legs could not be adjusted to fit within the frame of my platform bed. I called Diane, she spoke with the guys, and they told her the same thing. Afterwards, she said they don’t know what they are talking about, I will send more guys out there.

    On 7/7/25, the new technicians came out and said the same thing. I called her and let her speak to the new technicians, and they explained the base cannot fit inside my frame due to the brackets. Diane said she would try to discount me $500 since she promised the frame would fit and I need to buy a new bed frame. I asked her on the first day of delivery for it to be returned since the base was not compatible with my frame and she said it was not returnable.

    Everyone in the company has been giving me the runaround and ultimately told me they could credit me or take the base back. Second lie Diane told me is that our first payment would be covered by Mattress Firm. I received my bill today and guess what? No credit was applied. I called Diane and she said I never told you that, she also denied assuring me the base was compatible with my bed frame.

    Why lie to people for a sale? Just sell people what they need and that is how you get more referrals. This is fraud, and almost everyone in the company I spoke to was rude. I spoke with Joseph at corporate **, explained I already had a complaint filed with them regarding the base issue and I wanted to file a second complaint since Diane lied about Mattress Firm covering the first payment when you finance, and he hung up on me.

    I wished I had seen all of the horrible reviews on the consumer affairs website, and I would have never purchased anything from them. $4216.43 might not be a lot of money to some people but it’s all a waste of my money because I can’t use what was sold to me. I loved my bedframe and now I must spend more money on new bed frame because Diane wanted to make the biggest commission possible that day. This company operates like used cars salesman. I tried to support a business in my community and unfortunately Mattress Firm is ok with their salespeople lying to customers for financial gain. I despise a liar. This is theft.

    We went to the Mattress Firm next to Carolina Mall. Mike the salesman is very rude & on hovering me.. Asking me about my budget. I told him that I was browsing and I will come back. He lost it. I swear he wanted to choke. He got so angry. If he could pull out a gun and force me to buy. He would. I have never been so scared. I practically ran out of the store. It was so empty I understand why. Mike whatever you are going through please get help!!!!

    I placed an order on 7/28/25. Expecting delivery on 7/30/25. I did not get a call evening before for delivery window. So I started calling customer service. Could never get a human on the phone. So today 7/30 I had to tell automated service I want to place an order, which I didn't but I got a human...imagine that. I was told I didn't get a call last night cause item is OUT OF STOCK. So of course I now have to wait more than a week to get order. WHY DIDN'T MATTRESS FIRM ADVISE ME? WHY DIDN'T THEY CALL ME TO RESCHEDULE DELIVERY? My daughter took a vacation day in order to be available for delivery and now she's not getting it today. I am very upset and what mattress firm had done is UNACCEPTABLE!!!

    My older parents went to Mattress Firm looking for a new mattress after having a Sleep Number bed for years. Dylan was so helpful, took his time with them and had them try numerous mattresses to assist them in finding the perfect one. My dad has had lifelong back issues and since sleeping on the new Tempur-Pedic mattress he is almost pain free. Dylan walked them thru the entire process and took such good care of them. And delivery was seamless. Mattress was delivered quickly and professionally by their team. Can’t say enough positives!! Used Mattress Firm many times and each time was a positive experience.

    Buyer beware. You may be told that the mattress you are about to purchase has a 10 year warranty. Don't believe it. My mattress was slept on approximately 7 times, as it is a guest bedroom mattress, and it began to sag almost immediately. MF will not honor an exchange. Warranty? What a joke. Rude personnel both in the store and corporate. Before you fork out 800.00 just go to another reputable store. Did I mention the delivery people. Maybe a shower and clean clothes would be a better presentation. If zero stars were an option...

    Purchased a queen size Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress with a 10-year warranty. After four years, there was a significant sag on one side. When we tried to get a replacement, they refused because the photos they required showed "stains". That's not why we were asking for a replacement, but they denied with no appeal. Forced to conclude that the "warranty" is just an additional money grab. Will not be using mattressfirm.com or buying Serta mattresses ever again.

    Bought mattresses at Pittsburgh/Waterfront 6/8/25 and still haven't received the set. First delivery was late and the bed frame was damaged. Next delivery was to be July 9th but, no one calls with a delivery time. We call and ask for a time and all they do is say they will call or text back and never do. So much money for so little service.

    George A. I was looking to purchase a new mattress to replace my old one. My wife and I decided to try Mattress Firm of Sayville New York. We wanted a mattress that was comfortable yet it would still support our back issues. We tried the pressure Smart 2.0 Lux Plush Pillow Top Mattress in the store, and it seemed like the right fit. It was a king size with 2 twins and deluxe adjustable base. We had it delivered on December 11Th 2024. After about 4 weeks we were not satisfied with the twin beds (king) as when we would roll over in the bed we would end up in between the two mattresses.

    We called to have the 120 days return or exchange honored for the full-size king mattress. So moving forward to date the mattress has been a nightmare for us. It is now 6 months old, and we cannot sleep in it because we feel like we are sinking into the mattress, and it absolutely does not support our pressure points or our backs. I wish the employee had told us it would not be a good supportive fit for us. We are now sleeping in our spare room because we cannot sleep on that mattress. We paid over 5000.00 for a mattress we can't use. I have been in such severe back pain because of the lack of support in that mattress. When we called Mattress Firm, they told us, "It's too late. You are past 120 days." So they told us to call Beauty Rest for a warranty claim, we called them, and they said they couldn't help us with the warranty, that it was Mattress Firm that was responsible.

    I am so very disappointed and amazed at the back and forth of who can or should help us. When I read the reviews on this mattress and there were many, the mattress we purchased is really not recommended for anyone over 130 pounds. So I'm guessing the employees of mattress Firm aren't trained enough to suggest or ask a customer if they have any back issues or other issues so they could suggest a mattress specifically for such. So now I am stuck with an expensive mattress and base I can't use. I will never buy from Mattress Firm again nor will I recommend them to any friends or family. I was hoping someone could have helped us but again there was a lot of buck passing between beauty rest and mattress firm. No satisfaction at all. Would definitely look elsewhere for a mattress.

    I had to give 1-star since there is no zero here. I ordered base and mattress on June 28th. The base was delivered and the mattress was promised to be delivered by July 2nd then they moved it to July 4th without notification then to July 6th. Today is July 7th. There is no courtesy call, no message. No information. We keep clicking on the "Track delivery" order which gives varying messages - "no information available regarding delivery", "order cannot be tracked", "contact your local store". We called up the local store and they said, "We cannot do anything. You have to wait for the delivery and the order cannot be cancelled". Since 6 days we are sleeping on the floor and airbed experiencing backache and body pains. Not sure when it will be delivered and how this will be resolved. Worst experience ever.

    Terrible quality mattress -- terrible customer service -- Our mattress had an indentation, where apparently, it was used as a demo or they put something heavy on it for extended period of time -- We asked for an exchange within the period of time they advertised for exchange and they said send us pictures -- We did as asked but it's hard to show an indentation in a picture and how it gives way when sleeping on it -- We asked that one of their representatives (as advertised on their website) come out to see for themselves and they said they did not have anyone to do that.     I wrote a 5 star review about 2 months ago when The Bedframe quit working, I bought a Black Mattress 9 months ago, We have slept on it Maybe 45 times, THAT'S IT, We had it delivered to a New Home we are building as soon as we got the A/Cs put in, We live in Fort Laud, House is in Punta Gorda, So we only go over maybe 3 days every 2 weeks to keep track and make changes, I weigh 188 lbs., My wife 117. The mattress is sagging in the middle where you sit to get in, I am In SHOCK that a 4000.00 DOLLAR MATTRESS that has only been slept on maybe 40 to 45 nights is sagging. I am Just Blown away, It's Sunday Night, I came home today, was there 3 days. I am calling store in the morning, They did great when the Motor went out in the Frame after a week, Let's see about a saggy 4,000 dollar mattress!!!! I will keep you informed.

    Was lied to. Was told my purchase would be delivered the next day, next day came no delivery. Called the store to inquire about my next day delivery, was then told it would be 7-10 days, their answer to the delay was "We gave you a discount." Money was not a factor. The delivery date was the factor. I asked three times about next day delivery and was told all three times "YES". Will NEVER go to them again!!

    I'm a first & last time Mattress Firm customer. My Wife & I spent almost $2k on a mattress with 5 year warranty in February of 2023. Her side of the mattress is going flat, I contacted mattress firm, went through the whole warranty debacle (uploading pics, reason etc; ) & I get an email saying they can't honor the warranty because the mattress has a stain. Like really? So I buy a new car & it breaks down in 2 yrs but they won't honor the warranty because it's dirty? Oh no.. They lost a customer plus I made sure all of my Family and Friends knew what mattress firm is all about.. BOGUS!

    My husband and I purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm in 2022. Like 3 years ago and I have been having back problems for like months now. I called customer service to ask about the warranty and was told. If there is no physical damage and we are just in pain due to the mattress that's our problem and we have to just deal with a mattress less than 4yrs old that we spent over 3 thousand dollars for.     The people are nice enough but the mattresses are lacking. Received one and it didn't work for us so they switched it out and now it's the same. Very disappointed. 2600 down the drain. We lost everything during the hurricane Milton and had to rebuild or home and purchased new furniture including a mattress for both bedrooms and got rid of them and went to Mattress Firm. We would have been better and cheaper to keep the original mattress. We are very disappointed.

    Purchased a Beautyrest black because I loved my previous of 10 years. Was told I could exchange the firm for the softer if I didn't like it per Melanie in Spokane and it would be an even exchange. Didn't like it. I had to pay almost 1k for the exchange, even though I could see online the price did not go up. Received the new mattress and was sagging within a month. It's been 3 years now and would not buy from them again. 5k for a mattress. Was told to jump up and down in the middle to redistribute it. Sorry, I'm 70. Never again.     Don’t buy anything from Mattress Firm! I ordered a $300 comforter and when received the quality was terrible. You’re better off buying at AtHome or TJMAXX. I tried to contact them which was a mission. There is no form of contacting corporate. They make it difficult on purpose. I wanted to exchange or at least get some of my money back to put towards something better since they don’t do returns or exchanges on comforters and they made it impossible to talk to a human. Now I am stuck with this expensive, cheap quality comforter which I will never use and hate.

    I walked into the Oro Valley store, not knowing I would actually buy that day. I was warmly greeted by Lisa. I told her all the requirements for a desired mattress (among them, handles), and she was able to find one to fit them. She assured me an easy return/exchange if the mattress wasn't right for me (didn't have one in the showroom for me to test out). I was notified the night before delivery day of the time frame (2 hours) and Hector and Alberto were there on time ... And very friendly, efficient, and professional!     My name is Judy **. I purchased a mattress from the New Jersey store in Hasbrouck New Jersey Hasbrouck Heights in December 2024. In April of 2025 I noticed puckering of material on the bed. I called the warranty claims department and was told to submit pictures, which I did. I received an email stating the pictures were not showing the defective area, so I submitted pictures again. I went to the local Paramus store and sought the assistance of a “store manager” who got a broom, put it on the bed, and told me to use the ruler to show damage. I went back home, very frustrated and did as I was told by the manager. The next day I again received an email saying “the photos were not efficient”.

    I again, called customer service and was told to “take one more picture“ and submit it for resolution. My warranty claims department was denied because the gathering of the material was deemed “normal wear and tear” …. On a bed that is barely 6 months used???? Unacceptable…. Please beware of “these fraudulent warranty promises” from this company. Guess their 8 to 10 year guarantee means “8-10 weeks? Read the small print.

    I tried to go in store to order three mattresses. The employees were busy with customers and barely acknowledged us. So we went home and ordered online. One of the three mattresses shipped and the other two are missing. I used the chat feature to seek help which was a waste of time. Useless. They made me call the store to seek help. I called the store and the person answered clearly annoyed, told me she was with a customer, told me “they” route us online customers to in store people instead of a call center, and she may not be able to find my order anyway but she will call me back later. Corporate needs to get it together! Overwhelming your employees which in turn overwhelmes your customers is poor customer service.

    I came to Mattress Firm willing to spend a significant amount of money on a high-quality product. At the Hillsboro, Oregon, store, we met Sarah and found her to be a true professional. She asked us the right questions to determine what we were looking for and what we hoped to achieve with a new bed. She provided us with multiple options, along with a complete explanation of each, and she wasn't pushy in any way. The follow-up communication was perfect. The delivery team was led by William, who did an excellent job installing the bed, explaining the operational options and asking if I had any questions. I am completely satisfied.

    This was my first experience buying a mattress from an upscale mattress store and it was a fabulous experience. Richard and Tamara were incredibly kind, informative and professional. They helped calm my apprehensions about the big investment I was about to make, helping me feel so comfortable with my mattress choice. I ended up choosing one of their Sterns and Fosters and let me just say, this mattress is a game changer. I will finally be able to sleep soundly without getting overheated during the night. I appreciate the great service I received and I also appreciate the good quality products they had in their store. I highly recommend.

    I feel the Mattress Firm purchases I made are almost the most stupid spending I have ever done in my life. I bought a BeautyRest king mattress and Tempur king adjustable base to go with it. I felt secure with the promised condition of “free return” if I did not like it. When I did, I was shocked to learn the Tempur base was not returnable, even though brand new. The salesman was quick to show me where I had signed the contract stating the base is not returnable. I trusted the salesperson, and Mattress Firm, that this purchase was in my best interest. Buying a non-returnable base was a terrible investment and definitely not in my best interest! Worse, I then bought 2 Stearns & Foster twin mattresses (more cost than the king mattress), …and…2…more…Tempur…bases!

    I can’t believe I was so stupid, after being already dumb in my original purchase of the king Tempur non-returnable base. I attribute this to shell-shock. The salesman never mentioned the poor judgment in buying instantly non-returnable Brand new Tempur bases. It was a very poor buying decision. The 205lb king base is still taking up enormous room in my small garage, 7 months after this buying fiasco. The salesmen said I could sell it online, but I have had zero calls or offers. I cringe every time I see any ad on TV about buying a mattress. It’s about my stupidity, mostly, but also major disappointment in the poor advice and broken trust of the salesmen and company of Mattress Firm. I previously bought a BeautyRest mattress from Mattress Firm in 2012, trusting them, but never again.

    Donna was the sales person who sold the mattress to me. The mattress delivered was too short for me. I will argue that it is the duty of the sales person who is supposed to be the expert to inform the customer about lengths, return fees etc. In this case, she did not. Besides, if both lengths are the same price, why would a taller person pick a shorter mattress?

    The warranty is terrible. Our bed has runs in the material and breaking down. Thought bed will come to holes eventually!!! Over 3000.00 purchase!! Will never buy from them again. It’s clearly that the material is defective! We work in furniture. Know when material is defective or poor quality! May I add the bed is also now discontinued!! Hmmm!!     It’s a complete scam. The mark up is 3x what the crap they sell is worth. I attempted to get a warranty replacement on a 1300 mattress and couldn’t. The requirements were about 15 photos and required me to move the bed and lift the mattress. I took off the tag so I’m screwed. I called the manufacturer and was told the mattress was 400 when I paid 1300. Joke's on me!!! I’m only writing this review to help someone else so maybe they won’t get ripped off.

    I purchased a brand new Sealy Silver king mattress exactly 1 year ago for just about $1,000, on sale from $1,500. By month 8, the entire mattresses internal springs, cushioning even the seams had fallen apart, CHEAP, CHEAP, CRAP!! I went to my local Mattress Firm location to complain, and get some kind of refund, I mean, LESS THAN A YEAR!! Is all it lasted. The manager of the store told me if I was lucky, I might get a partial refund, but only store credit!!!! Why would I even spend another cent in that store.. She then tried to up sell me a $3,000 bed with all bells and whistles. ARE YOU REALLY DOING THIS??? Was my only question to her as I walked out the door. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MATTRESS FIRM!!     If you choose to use this company, I urge you, go to the store and speak to a professional. Do not speak to the online staff, I repeat, Do Not speak to the online staff. I’m speaking from experience, the online team are revenue hungry and don’t give a damn about what you want. If you choose to go through the online customer service, it’s at your own peril. I urge you to go and speak to a human in store, it will make all the difference, and all the difference is your back, neck, shoulders, knees and overall stress levels. The online staff have no idea what they are talking about, all they see are dollar signs. Also worth adding, if you do return your mattress within the allotted time, the company has a $250 restocking fee, but the online staff will conveniently forget to mention that. Good luck!

    Mattress Firm is a scam. My 83yr old mother & I have been made to jump through hoops just to return a mattress less than a year old that is supposed to have a ten year warranty. In order to return you must send too many pictures of the mattress, the box spring and the legs of the bed just to show the deficiencies of their mattress. The customer service is terrible & seems intent on providing enough red tape so you can’t get the right mattress you need. Run- don’t walk out of this establishment.

    While the professionalism of the final delivery team and Lautrice’s intervention were appreciated, the overall experience with Mattress Firm was unacceptable. Operational failures, poor communication, and lack of leadership oversight resulted in significant disruptions to my professional and personal commitments. The corrective actions taken were reactive rather than proactive, placing undue burden on the customer. Absent meaningful systemic improvements, I would neither return as a client nor recommend the company to others.

    Purchased a Sleepys mattress from Mattress Firm. What a scam. I was told the delivery was free. That was a lie. It was a $100,00 plus a $5,00 tip. Within 50 days the mattress was sagging badly on the sides. The bottom started ripping off. The mattress was cut small. Not a full size mattress. The mattress was still under warranty. I ask for a refund. I was offered $130,00 and I pay $480,00 including the $100,00 delivery fee. What a complete ripoff. I would have made out better at the Goodwill store.

    So professionalism is out the door on this company and they have poor management and responsibility. I bought a mattress and a base we took our mattress because we needed a bed so it would be a week before we got our base so we put it on the floor so a week has passed and guess what they didn’t deliver on the delivery date so I called and because someone didn’t do their job they didn’t pick up the base so they couldn’t deliver. Now they're telling me I have to wait another 8 days to get my base. WTH. Do you people not have managers or someone in charge of this kind of thing. Now I’m on the floor another 8 days.

    It’s very hard to get up off the floor but I guess I have to just deal with it because no one wants to take responsibility and I don’t understand why I have to wait 8 more days. Do you only deliver on Mondays? This is a huge company. They should be delivered mattresses on the daily but nope we have to suffer because of someone not doing their job. I’ll never buy anything from them again ever and I guarantee you the employees that didn’t do their job nothing will be done or said.

    El Paso TX (Joe Battle store) >> Bought a top-of-the-line Stearns and Foster in 2021. Fast forward 2 years (2023) and the mattress literally tore about 15 inches at the seam on one of the sides. Go back to the store, they don't make that mattress anymore. Got a Stearns and Foster Hybrid mattress. Decent enough. Of course, you have to pay $ 149 for exchange and delivery. That is in writing, so can't complain. November 2024 (18 months later) and this mattress failed. Got an indention on one side, way deeper than the required 1.5 inches. Got the replacement December 23, 2024 ($99 for inspection of the old one and of course the $149 delivery fee) and I noticed no tags on this "new" mattress.

    Called the store and complained. It would seem as if this replacement was used (refurbished). The "law" tag did not just fall off. I watched the delivery guys from beginning to end. A new Stearns and Foster has a thick "law" tag and paperwork included. This mattress was just in a flimsy clear bag. Even if “refurbished”, the mattress should have a yellow tag affixed. The manager (Raul Davila) was quick to say he would “re-order” a new mattress.

    5 weeks later (FEB 1), I finally received the mattress, and this after the delivery window promised from 12 noon – 4 pm. The truck arrived at 6:30 pm. Wasted an entire afternoon waiting. The driver said “they just barely got the ticket” at 5:15 PM when he called me. I assume my delivery was not set up at the warehouse for the time frame stated. This was a new mattress with proper tags, and came in a very thick plastic bag. This mattress is way firmer than the previous one delivered.

    Texas used to have some really good consumer laws on the books (both criminal and civil penalties) for “label required” (the so-called law tags on a mattress) But because Texas is anti-regulation, and wants to help businesses, these laws were rescinded in 2015. There is no consumer protection anymore for mattresses on the books. You can file a consumer complaint with the Attorney Generals’ office. Good luck with that.

    I believe even if this new one mattress fails under warranty, I'm just going to eat the loss and go to a more reputable place. Stearns and Foster is part of Sealy, so save some money and get a Sealy, but from a more reputable vendor other than Mattress Firm, especially the Joe Battle store. And every Mattress Firm in El Paso is an independent franchisee. The corporate office in Houston could care less about your complaint. I know, I checked. You will be referred back to the store that you dealt with in the first place. How this store gets high reviews is beyond me, perhaps I am an exception with my situation. Or these reviews are by employees and friends, seen that before.

    We dodged a bullet by not purchasing at the location on North Decatur. The salesman misled us and opened a line of credit disguising it as “just checking my credit.” Then he set up delivery for products we never agreed to purchase. We were just there to get a quote. When confronted he said if nothing is delivered, they will just close the account which is also not true. I opened a fraud case with Synchrony Bank. I will not be doing business with them and I recommend you do not either. Unethical and slimy like a used salesman.

    I purchased two mattresses online for delivery on 1 April. I received two email updates confirming my delivery would be soon (on 1 April). Both messages said I would receive a call the night prior letting me know the delivery window. But I didn't get a call the night before... And I didn't get my delivery on 1 April. When I called to ask why I did not receive my order, I was told there was a mix-up with my address. So, my order was not loaded on the truck that day.

    When I called the next day to confirm delivery, I was told that both mattresses were discontinued and out-of-stock. The representative said the 'computer' never should have let me order the discontinued items in the first place -- over a week prior. And then, they tried to sell me two other mattresses!!! At no time before I called about the missed delivery, did anyone from MattressFirm attempt to contact me about an address 'mix-up' or the fact that they didn't even have the two items they sold me. Instead I waited in vain for mattresses that were part of a bait-and-switch scheme and then had to pay for a hotel room as I had no mattresses. There needs to be negative stars for the way this firm treats its customers. (PS - They still have not refunded my payment!)

    We purchased a Stearns and Foster Luxe mattress from Mattress Firm in January of 2024. 6 months later my husband and I started experiencing lower back pain that increasingly got worse. I saw a doctor that ran tests and no problem was found. We realized that the mattress had developed a hump in the middle and was sagging on each side where we slept. We are sure the sagging is causing the back pain because we started sleeping in our guest room and didn't experience the lower back pain.

    I submitted a warranty claim to Mattress Firm as that is the process that Stearns and Foster has in place. The retailer you purchased the mattress from facilitates the Stearns and Foster warranty. It has been a nightmare. First we had to print this little paper out and place it on the mattress with a broom stick and take pictures from different angles. You then upload the pictures to Mattress Firms website and they determine if the sag is deep enough to warrant an exchange. The first attempt came back that it isn't sagging enough to qualify for the warranty.

    I then filed a complaint with the BBB and I heard again from Mattress Firm. They suggested I used an inadequate stick taking the measurement of the sag and that I take another picture with a different stick. They also told me that the warranty only covers sags that are there when nobody is in the bed, not when you lay on the bed. What sense does that make? Beds are meant to be laid on!

    I complied and took a new measurement with a different stick. I got the same response, sags that measure 1/2 inch are normal and that the sag with nobody on the bed has to be 1 1/2 inches to qualify for the warranty. They offered to send a rep out to look at the mattress for a fee of $68. What and lose even more money!! No thank you. The last offer from them is to offer us a 50% exchange so we can purchase a new mattress from them. This also is not satisfactory. This mattress was several thousand dollars and was only 6 months old when we started experiencing issues. This process is unfair and distressing.

    Purchased a mattress but found soon that it did not work out like hoped for. (My wife has back problems and the one in the showroom appeared to help when tried.) Spoke to them about returning. Tried others but none would work. The mattress was returned and a credit was issued for the mattress. We had also purchased a foundation and a mattress protector. Along with the two items above, we expected to pay for the delivery set/up fees. We were later billed an additional 150.00 return processing fee and 100 for delivery/pickup. When we reviewed all of the sales documents we signed and received, there was NO mention of any return processing fee. The corporate office is nowhere to be found or contacted to discuss this with and the local store is completely not cooperative in helping solve this.     I had the worst experience with mattress firm in Selden. Manager “Jeff” brought my family to the basement explaining that it was clearance items. We were all good with this. Found a bed we liked. Manager Jeff told us we needed to order it from another location since they didn’t have it. Awesome. Delivered. Little did we know- this mattress was USED. NOT only was it used, it was warped with a huge lump in the middle. Utterly frustrated, we called to do an exchange. Manager Jeff then Gave us a hard time stating this mattress was nonrefundable/ exchangeable but would do it for us as a favor. Great. We picked out a mattress 1k more and set the delivery. Awesome. Delivery guys get there- refuse to take USED/ WARPED mattress STATING THERE WAS NO “tag”. This mattress did not have a tag- and if it did it was gone at the arrival of my residence. Now we are stuck with this warped used mattress because they refuse to take it back. NEVER SHOP HERE!

    I would not recommend going to Mattress Firm for the purchase of your bed. Our experience with customer service has been horrible. We purchased our bed with a 10 year warranty. We kept the bed. The entire time we had it encased in the bed encasement. When our bed began having sagging and deep sunk in holes in our mattress, making it uncomfortable to sleep, we filed our warranty claim. Only to be told our claim was not valid because there was a “stain” on our mattress.

    Despite disputing the claim and showing pictures with evidence to the contrary, they continued to claim it did not “meet the warranty criteria” and refused to replace our mattress. We have purchased furniture before from other places including Raymour and Flanigan and they stand by their warranties. We will never shop again at Mattress Firm and do not recommend using them for your own mattress purchases in the future. Highly dissatisfied with how their customer service handled our claim.

I had selected a mattress from another site and had gotten to check out before I realized their delivery service did not include hauling away the old mattress even though it cost $125.     I purchased a Beautyrest black mattress from Mattress Firm several months ago. Being that it is an extremely heavy mattress, it took effort to put it into place in my new King bed frame. I did not look at the mattress carefully at first to see if there were any flaws. I expected it to be brand new. That was what I paid for. However, a few weeks later I had some red sores going down my back. I have had shingles before and assumed that was what it was. Fast forward a couple of months and no more bites but found bed bugs crawling on the bed covers. On further inspection of the mattress, I see patched-up spots where thick black thread has been used to stitch up some spots. I didn’t notice at first because the mattress is solid black and since the mattress came in a plastic wrapping I assumed it was new. Now I’ve had to hire an exterminator for over $1.5k to treat the infestation. And I’m out the cost of the over $3k mattress!

    I went to Mattress Firm to look for a mattress. I informed the salesman that I wouldn’t be able to buy one until my next pay. He said I could make a partial payment. I picked out a mattress and told him how much I’d like to put down. Oops, the entire amount was withdrawn from my account. I was informed he couldn’t do split payments. He did put another form to refund and credit my account 3-5 business days. Problem is I had bills coming out. I was able to delay one, but had two others. Need usual things like groceries etc but can’t do until it’s credited back.

    I called and told him what a bind this had put me in. He said “but I informed you that I put in the refund”. I asked about the fees for bounced payment. Said they would pay, but as someone who is rebuilding her credit, this is not helpful. I feel like he was afraid I wouldn’t come back on payday. I would have as I really need a mattress. He couldn’t understand why I was upset just kept saying “I did inform you how it would go. 3-5 business days.” Store is in Downingtown PA.

    I recently purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm during a promotional sale. The mattress and base were part of a bundle deal, and I was happy with my purchase. However, after receiving it, I realized I needed a different size and requested an exchange. I was initially told that I would have to pay a $99.99 return processing fee, which I reluctantly accepted. However, despite the fact that the mattress price difference between sizes was originally minimal, they suddenly claimed that the mattress was no longer on sale, making the exchange cost $851.18 more! This is completely unfair and deceptive.

    When I bought the mattress, the price difference between sizes was always the same, no matter which one I selected. Now, they refuse to honor the same logic and insist on charging full price. Their excuse? "Promo codes are not valid for exchanges." This is a classic bait-and-switch tactic – they lure customers in with promotions, then make exchanges impossible without outrageous fees. Avoid Mattress Firm unless you enjoy getting scammed. I will make sure to share my experience across all review platforms so others don't fall into this trap.

    I shopped at the Jensen Beach store. I was to meet with a specific sales person but at the last minute they were sent to a different store but had called to let the ladies know I would be in. Both ladies were extremely helpful to me to make the right selection. One lady was new and the other experienced and with helping me it turns out that they both learned something new.     (Warranty claim experience part 1.) The person working has no patience for someone that grew up riding the short bus or anyone slower than him. I did not know I needed to bring in a piece of paper for the warranty. I brought in the email that was sent to me. He had me send it to him in an email, and he had no patience for my slowness. He did not know how to use a printer, so he sent me to a library. The library had no problem helping me print out the piece of paper I needed, so then I went to the Park Ridge location where I don't know how to read most parking signs, and I'm not good at crossing streets. When I was 15 I was hit by a Chevy Blazer. I might be slow, but I will still use grammar check to take an hour to give you a bad review.

    (My box spring warranty experience.) This store is telling me that they no longer make the box spring like that, but you are still advertising the box spring like that. The experts online say that it is still made like that. Did Mattress Firm learn nothing from the last time it was sued for false advertisement? Either send me item number 144144P the way it is advertised or give me the full refund of $274.98. 1 days from now I'm going to have surgery I do not have time for the runaround, false advertisement, and mistakes. There's no point in picking out anything because they will send you anything they feel like! I don't care if the box spring you sent me is 100 times better. It's the principle of the matter.

    I never would have spent an extra fifty-seven dollars for an upgrade because all of your box springs look like the same planned obsolescent junk. What was sent to my house was completely different from what I picked out. Nowhere on the tags does the model number match. I would have just gotten the same box spring I had, the one that broke. I prefer a box spring that has wood and metal. This was the only box spring that looked unique compared to all the other junk. You guys used false advertisement to rob me of $57. I don't understand what there is for you guys to figure out, you advertised a box spring, I picked out that box spring, I paid extra for that box spring, I did not get that box spring. Why do you think it's okay for you to rob the customer and break them mentally?

    Review: Disappointing Durability and Warranty. I purchased this mattress 8 months ago, expecting it to last given its advertised 10-year warranty. Unfortunately, it has already developed a 3-inch sag in the middle, making it incredibly uncomfortable to sleep on. When I reached out to the company about the issue, they dismissed it as “normal wear and tear” and refused to honor the warranty. A mattress shouldn’t break down this quickly, and a 10-year warranty should actually mean something.     My husband and I went to the Mattress Firm in Gainesville, Ga in November 2024. The sales staff were nice and welcoming. Renee, our salesperson, was personable and listened to us. Renee took time with us to show us several bed. We left without purchasing because we wanted to talk it over. We returned a couple days later and purchased the mattress. Renee was able to price match the same mattress we found at another store. Renee gave us a great deal, or so we thought. We purchased the Sealy Posturepedic Plus hybrid High Point Plush. We purchased the plush due to Renee's recommendations and after trying it out in the store. Delivery of the mattress was a good experience.

    We slept on it the first night and it was OK. With the knowledge of the 120-night sleep trial, we decided to reserve judgment. After a while, we felt that the mattress was too soft and causing restless nights. So we decided to exchange the mattress for the firmer version, knowing that there would be a $249 restocking fee. We didn't expect to pay an additional $200-$300 on top of the restocking fee. I was told via text messages with Eric at the store, we would have to pay the difference between the current mattress and the new mattress (which is the same bed only in firm, it was the same price). We would also have to pay for another delivery and set up. Total to exchange would be $534.99.

    I called and spoke with Renee. She told us that if we exchange the mattress it would be the $249 and the additional $200. She didn't mention about the delivery and set up fee. Then she told me the mattress that we had purchased was discontinued. We feel that Renee should have known the current mattress was going to be discontinued when we made the purchase. This would have made an impact on our decision.

    I asked her about returning the mattress and receive a refund. She said there would still be the restocking fee (which we understand), but an additional $200 for the adjustable base that she gave us a deal on. So, no matter what we do, exchange or return we will have to pay Mattress Firm an additional $200-$300. I advise you to think long and hard before purchasing a mattress from Mattress Firm. We are considering posting this review on Yelp and Facebook.

    The bed is great but definitely not worth what we paid. We honestly don't sleep any better although the mattress is comfortable. It's a split king adjustable bed your research before buying a split king! We thought it was the way to go but the mattresses don't stay together. They come apart and this is a problem. Also purchased sheets from them. Overpriced and already showing signs of wear. Also paid extra for a smart bed. It has a massager which is nice but not worth the extra money. The only thing it has been good for is my neck and sinus issues. We definitely wished we just would have bought a decent mattress in the king size adjustable but not split. Just saying I don't think there is any bed out there worth over 7k! And that wasn't the top of the line. We could have spent twice that much. If we slept good every night I would say it's worth it but it was not the answer we were looking for.

    Sagging mattress after less than one year. I was told warranty was voided because I didn't use 5 slats, I only used 4. Five seems to be Mattress Firm's protocol. I have had the bedroom set for 35 years and other mattresses and always used 4 slats and never had a problem. Mattress Firm offered me a 20% discount coupon for a future purchase. Twenty percent in New York just about covers the sales tax forget about any discount on the actual cost of the mattress.

    Numerous times when we asked James we were told yes every time. At not point and time were we told that the mattress is returnable but the Smart base is not. Now we $8000 worth of bed mattress bases that we now have no use for. Mind you we have only had the mattress set since January 21st 2025. When we went into the store James met us and would only point to "look at your paperwork it is in there as the policy". "I can return the mattress but not the base".

    If we would have known this we would not have purchased since we have ZERO use for the mattress base without a mattress. We feel like James was not truthful in telling us we could return the bed set. We feel like his commission that was made meant more to him than a returning customer. I have filed a BBB complaint and now we wait to see what happens.. Will update but right now I would not recommend this location unless you want to be lied to and cheated out of $1,000's of your hard earned money.

    Mattress Firm customer support and warranty service basically rips you off. Will try to disapprove your warranty over the littlest item and then once you are able to combat that and get a credit/exchange approved they make it impossible not to spend additional money rather than exchange for equal or comparable item. Rather they force you into using it to spend money as you cannot use a "store credit" toward sale items.

    Did not get to return, they showed up on the wrong day and 85 yr old mother has to be medically transferred by health aid to other room before they come, but they showed up without notice on Sunday morning when the health aid was not here. Also when we bought bed for mom in December, they set up a double 2 piece king base with 2 remotes which was not what store manager sold us which was supposed to be a Tempur Ergo Smart King 1-piece base but they won't exchange it or give refund. Base has caused my mother to nearly slip off her side of bed. DM Janelle was supposed to contact us but never did. We've sent emails to Christian at the store it came from but no reply.     Well I got talked into buying a PressureSmart™ 2.0 Plush 11.75". Paid 1,049, it's not a plush mattress,,,, I have back pain and hip pain. The mattress is hard as a rock,, just got it today 1/27/2025, the store model was a lot softer, I am going to try to see if I can sleep in it for 30 days, should have bought from Mattress World Northwest in Gresham,, they had a better deal on a mattress.

    I want to start off saying I NEVER write reviews but I had to on this one. On the 8th of December I returned home from vacation. I had to order a new mattress I did but when I checked my email that same evening I seen that they actually ordered me a mattress topper!!! So I quickly called the online number back and was told I could not return it because FedEx had already picked it up. Which was a lie because it was a Sunday night!!! Smh so I let them deliver it then I would return it to the store UNOPENED, I was told I couldn't do that so long story short I was finally allowed to return it to the store after months of arguing back and forth. I returned it to the store was told it would take 5 business days and today is not the 23rd of January and I still have NOT received my refund!!

    I ordered mattress from Mattress Firm in Dec 2024. Mattress was delivered promptly. However, delivery people did damage to some of my property and I had to submit claim for same. Claim was submitted in Dec but I have still not received the compensation for the damage. I was told they will mail the cheque in December itself but nothing yet. Every time I call their customer service, they did me our claims department will give you call in 24hrs and I do not received any call. And the cycle continues. Their delivery service is a scam and just looting people without providing proper service in case of damages they do.

    The customer service and the deliver were great. However, the pillows I tried in the store did not match what I received and ordered. These pillows were $150 each and I got 2 of them. ($300 total,) I simply called the store I ordered them from to see about a refund the day I received them and they told me that they do not refund accessories. They are $300 pillows and flat. This to me is false advertising and they get to keep my money. Not happy about this. Will not be shopping at Mattress Firm in the future knowing this. Buyer beware. Don't think this is standard practice in sales but the store I purchase these pillow from are at the 2501 S US Highway 27 in Clermont, FL location.

    If you purchase a mattress from Mattress Firm make sure you understand the warranty. If you have stains on the mattress they can void the warranty for poor craftsmanship. I have a Purple mattress and it is destroyed in only 3 years of ownership. The sides have split and the springs are sticking through the mattress causing a very poor night's sleep. I know the 10 and 20 year warrantees they say they have are garbage but I thought a 3 year old mattress that fell apart would be covered regardless of staining. The mattress is unusable at that point any how. We even used their employee recommended mattress protector to prevent stains but that product was also garbage. Go somewhere else that might have a better warranty. They make this warranty this way to ensure they never have to cover a mattress. I will contact purple as well just in case they have more integrity.

    Steven **. Attn; do not buy from Mattress firm. Absolutely terrible customer service. We bought a Vectar mattress from them in Las Vegas, 12 months later it's sagging, they charged us $80. To send out a company to inspect the mattress, the inspector found that it was indeed sagging, but claims it's normal? After 12 months ?? That's not normal. We called Nectar directly, they said if we had bought it directly from them it would be covered and replaced, but mattress refuses to do anything to help us. We are caught in the middle with a defective mattress after 1 year. Stay away, save your money.

    The store manager was nice enough to allow me to make monthly payments until the mattresses were paid in full. After the final payment was made, a delivery date was scheduled a week before guest were to arrive. The mattress foundation was delivered from Jacksonville, FL and was wrapped in plastic- which was fine. When the plastic was removed there was a large tear and would need to be replaced. I contacted the store manager and he requested a new foundation. It took two days to receive the new foundation. When the new foundation was received and replaced the damaged one it was worst. The foundation was covered with very sheer garden fabric that was torn, staples were not completely securing the fabric, corners of the foundation were not covered and protected.

    I contacted the store manager again and he apologized for the inconvenience. He eventually gave me the foundation from the store's floor model and delivered it and set-up. He was upset that the warehouse shipped something that was totally of poor quality. Apparently, my zip code in Georgia was associated with a warehouse that ships poor quality merchandise. I would not recommend using their products unless you live in an upscale neighborhood. That is a shame!

    Three years ago I bought a Simmons BeautyRest from Mattress Firm. It immediately starting sagging wherever I slept. You can see it & can definitely feel it. A few months ago I went thru the process of what they require when you file a complaint. I disassembled the bed, uploaded pictures, etc. Even though it sags, they determined it "meets their criteria". I would love for whoever made that determination to sleep on one like it. What good is a 10 year warranty? I was very upset and will never buy from them again & trust me I NEED a new mattress! I'm a retired senior on a small SS income so I guess I'm stuck with a saggy mattress. Not the way to treat a consumer, now a former consumer.

    They will find any reason to deny your warranty claims. I submitted a claim on my king sized mattress for sagging that was about 4.5in deep on the side I sleep on. I’ve rotated the mattress many times over the last couple years but that side always sags. I went to the store and asked about the warranty and instructed on how to submit the warranty claim. I submitted everything as instructed and they denied my sagging claim because there was a small stain/discoloration on the mattress. The two things aren’t even related! And I just went in store to purchase a new mattress but after this experience I will be purchasing elsewhere. Don’t trust their practices.

    So, here's my review. I've been buying from Mattress Firm for the past 15 years. I love the products and have only had one negative experience with the store on 94th and Western in Chicago. I've always chosen them over American Mattress. Long story short, I purchased a new home in February 2023. I wasn't going to ready to move in until May of 2023, but I wanted everything to be ready for when I got there. I ordered an extra mattress for one of my bedrooms online.... (big mistake) and was told that the mattress would be delivered in a few days. Well, I never got a phone call or a delivery. When I went to check online, it says the mattress had been delivered. Now, I'm wondering how it was delivered when there was nobody at the house and no phone call to set up for someone to be there. I emailed constantly and was told that UPS delivered it.     AWFUL warranty company SERVEPRO which Mattress Firm swears by. I have been waiting for parts since March 2024. I have been paying for a base I cannot use. George swore by the warranty and SERVEPRO cannot service the needs of the consumer. Neither George or his Manager have tried to assist me. I bought 2 bases and mattresses.     We purchased a Serta Sandburg mattress from Mattress Firm in February, 2022. After less than three years, the mattress is breaking down. We paid $1100 for it. Serta has a 10 year warranty and we never got the warranty card from Mattress Firm. Serta requires that we file under the warranty with Mattress Firm and were directed to the online site by Mattress Firm. After an hour of taking the required photos and measurements per their website on a Sunday, it was denied within a couple of hours that same day. The denial letter was one with ten different reasons and they checked the box based on improper frame. Our mattress sits on a boxspring that is very stable. Our prior mattress sat in the same bedframe and boxspring with no issues. We got rid of it based on its age (over 20 years old). I would not recommend buying a mattress as they are overpriced and the warranty is meaningless.

    Not recommended at all. If I give it one star it is too much. Unfortunately I did not check this page before buying the mattress. I think the mattresses they sell are old. I spent more than a thousand dollars buying a firm mattress and in 5 months it no longer works, Beautyrest brand (supposedly a good brand). The answer they gave me about the warranty is that it does not apply when the mattress sags. If you ask someone to inspect the mattress you must pay a fee on your own. The company offers you a 40% discount for the purchase of another mattress. It would be very sad to spend money again buying in that store whose products are of poor quality. I thought it was a serious store.

    I ordered 3 mattresses at the East Boca Raton, Florida location 10 days before delivery. While placing the order I specified to the salesperson that my building requires COI & Workers Comp for deliveries. Soon after I made this known to the manager so that there would be no denial of delivery. I spoke with the manager, Shawn a day prior as I was told by my concierge Mattress Firm delivery had not supplied the necessary paperwork required. The morning of the delivery I was called again, NO paperwork from Mattress Firm.

    I called Shawn, he began to yell at me. He had no time for me, and couldn’t assist me! Really? This wasn’t a short notice. I requested this information 10 days prior. I needed my mattresses. I had no choice but to have them left at our buildings receiving and paying someone in the building to carry a king and 2 twin mattresses. Shawn the manager is a disgrace, who lacks customer/client services. If he continues to work at Mattress Firm his only position should be to count the mattresses. If he can get that done correctly. Rude!

    Not impressed with Mattress Firm. Ordered a new mattress on black Friday and it said the label for shipping was created the next Tuesday December 3rd. It's now the 11th, almost 2 weeks since ordering the mattress, with the mattress still not have left the store. The first time I messaged customer service about a week after putting in the order and they said to wait a week and get back to them the next Tuesday.

    I got back to them the next Tuesday and the customer service rep ended the chat in the middle of me asking a question trying to figure out what was going on, which made me extra frustrated with this company. In fact, they recommended just canceling the order before closing the chat. I got ahold of another rep that was much more professional that told me she put in a complaint about my order having no change in status over 2 weeks and that they would get back to me in 5 days. This was yesterday, so we'll see if mattress firm can even get this order found and delivered, let alone recover from being such a failure of a company with terrible customer service reps working for them.

    I will never buy another mattress from Mattress Firm. When my Serta Mattress began to sag, I submitted a claim under the warranty. After a frustrating two times of submitting the claim because my pictures were never good enough, the claim was denied, due as they said to normal wear. They make the warranty process so daunting and probably have no intention of fulfilling it. Most people probably give up because of all the pictures they ask you to submit. I will never buy another Serta Mattress or go into another Mattress Firm Store.

    I am a just a layman with severe injuries from an Auto accident looking to NOT sleep on the floor anymore but enjoy a restful night on a quality mattress. I made a purchase that I thought would come in a box but was just a mattress all out therefore I had to return it and get in touch with Customer service to help me purchase a new one that is in a box. I just want to say that the difference in service and communication between Klondie - who was a 10/10 and Aubrey who is 'just tired!' is like night and day.     Mattress Firm's unethical business practices. We paid white glove delivery. They sent independent driver that damaged our property entering our home. The delivery men were aggressive, refused remove dirty boots, damaged our carpets & walls. MF denied responsibilities. They sold white glove delivery! There was nothing white glove about it.     I first purchased a memory foam online with a 'Lea' via text that didn't work for me due to my physical condition! I attempted to contact 'lea' who then handed me over to texting with a 'Jack' when I wanted to exchange the memory foam mattress for the one that 'jack' suggested, and was told it was less expensive and that my mother could expect a refund credited to her green american express card that would be a little less than $400.00 within 7 to 10 business days! I just called Mattress Firm and was told that my mother Would not be getting a refund of any amount because there was actually a fee of $99.00 for exchanging a mattress, and that I should contact 'lea' or 'jack' because "The company does not operate in that manner, and I'm sorry ms **!"

    I agreed to allow Both 'lea' and 'jack' to 'upsell' me when I added the sheet sets and pillows, and paid for the set up which was simply placing the mattresses on the metal foundation! This is very unfair, and unscrupulous practices to me, and I will never recommend mattress firm as I had just done yesterday to anyone again! Interestingly enough, I have a phone that erased the texts from 'lea' and from 'jack', and I have no recourse!

    We purchased a Serta plush pillow top. I did know what I wanted as we had a serta built in pillow top before. Although it was a top pillowtop it felt very similar to the first one we had. I had been experiencing extreme pain on the mattress we had purchased online (a box mattress). Worst we ever had. The serta has significantly elevated the pain and I recommend this mattress highly.     I just saw the most disgusting commercial I've ever seen in my life. It's of a mother bullying a handicapped child because he has a handicapped arm. And when asked how she sleeps at night she says, "Oh I sleep really well because I sleep on a Mattress Firm mattress". We may live in a time where some people are being rewarded for being bullies. But I don't have to give my money to that. I am just about to buy 2 queen size mattresses and 4 twin mattresses. I will not be buying them at Mattress Firm because of this stupid commercial.

When the mattress frame was delivered, they flatly refused to take it away. I was told that they never take the frames away, and workers who sell mattresses are engaged in deception.     I bought a mattress from Mattress Firm 2 yrs ago the same one I had bought from Ashley Furniture 8 yrs ago. I only replaced it because it was 8 yrs old. Nothing was wrong with it. It said new on mattress firm's site but after 1 yr it got a hump in the middle. After 2 yrs the fabric is torn so bad I have to patch the hole with a fabric patch. They sell reconditioned mattresses without telling the customer. I will never buy from mattress firm again.

    I just would like people to know that the Mattress firm warranty is worthless. I have purchased several mattresses from them and they all seem to form troughs within months of using them. Their supposed warranty is worthless and their 3rd party people who come in to measure your mattress are very rude, won't answer any questions and they always say your mattress just has regular use body troughs!!! Don't buy from them!

    So what happens if you buy a mattress for over $ 2,500. at Mattress Firm and in less than one year it is found to be defective. Well let me tell you, you are in trouble, just like me. They give you a $2,500 allowance on a new mattress!! That sounds great right. NOT REALLY. It's not really an allowance.. What?? You can only use it for a for a new purchase at list price not their discounted price that you paid when you bought the first one!! So since their NEW mattress (you see your 2500$ two year old mattress is now OLD) not only went up $500. but you can't buy it at the "new sale price" which is always on sale" is $ 1000. more than you would normally pay. You now have to PAY PICK UP AND DELIVERY ON THE NEW MATTRESS. which only lasted you 2 years. What a racket!

    Bottom line, you did not get a $ 2,500 allowance, you only got a $ 850. credit compared to a customer what walks into the store off the street PLUS ANYONE OFF THE STREET CAN NEGOTIATE WITH THEM AND GET A FREE TOPPER AND AN ADDITIIONAL DISCOUNT WHICH YOU CANNOT DO. So, you paid $2,500. plus tax and your credit is really $500. or under on a replacement mattress. WHAT A RIP OFF. STAY AWAY!

    I purchased a King Mattress, King Box Springs and Frame from MattressFirm.com for $999.99 on October 5, 2024. Mattress Firm promised delivery on October 13, 2024 with the promise that the delivery men would remove the old bed, box springs and frame and dispose of it all. Further, they contracted to have the delivery men set up the new frame and set up the new box springs and mattress. On, Sunday, 10-13-2024, at 9AM, two men showed up with the bed and box springs, but they had no frame. I asked them where the frame was and they said it would be delivered at a later date. I asked about them how they could set up the new bed without a frame to put it on and they said I could call and arrange for them to come back and set the bed up when I got the frame.

    I am disabled and had taken down the old bed so I could clean the room prior to the arrival of the new bed. So, I told them I would not accept delivery of the bed and box springs and would cancel the order with Mattress Firm for their failure to fulfill the contract. It took me two days to get Mattress Firm to cancel the contract and when I asked about the refund of my money they had taken from my Credit Card they said it could take from 7 to 10 days for the money to be refunded to my account. It is now the 26th of October and in speaking to Mattress Firm about my frustrations with their breach of contract and failure to refund my money to my account they said they would have to look into it and get back to me. Mattress Firm did not inform me at the time of my purchase that a 3rd Party would be contracted with in order to deliver my bed and frame.

    When 3rd Party delivery men told me I'd have to wait for the frame to be delivered and then call them to reschedule them to come out and set up my new frame and bed, I saw many days and/or weeks before I would have my new bed set up and the old bed removed, so I cancelled the contract and refused the "partial delivery" of my bed, i.e., Breach of Contract by Mattress Firm. After my experience with Mattress Firm and their inability to refund my money in a timely manner (when they took my money within minutes my purchase), I WOULD NEVER EVER GIVE THEM ANYTHING OTHER THAN MY DISDAIN FOR THEIR FAILURE TO DELIVER MY NEW BED AND FRAME AS CONTRACTED WITH ME!

    I purchased a new bed and frame from Amazon at less than half the price I was going to pay Mattress Firm, it was delivered in two days and I was able to set the bed up that day and was sleeping on my new bed that night. BUYER BEWARE if you ever consider buying a bed from Mattress Firm, but I strongly recommend don't even give them the opportunity to turn your hopes of having sweet dreams you can count on them to deliver nightmares to you.     I will never purchase anything from Mattress Firm again and I will encourage anyone I can to not do so either. I purchased a waterproof mattress cover with my mattress and was told it had a ten year guarantee. I purchased it for peace of mind as I struggle with urinary incontinence. I was assured that it would work. The first night I slept on my mattress we put the protector on it and my urine went straight through it and onto the mattress. We cleaned the mattress well, but I was forced to spend more money to buy one that actually works.

    I tried contacting the manufacturer associated with this ten year guarantee and once I finally got ahold of them, they said that I could return the product at my own expense and then they would send me the same product in exchange. Clearly the product is not actually waterproof. Sending me the same thing again won’t solve the problem. It’s still not going to be waterproof and I still won’t be able to use it. All I want is a refund. They refused. So, I emailed the sales person who never emailed me back. I called the store and was told that you don’t refund accessories, only the manufacturer does that. If I went to a clothing store and bought a Nike sweatshirt and it tore the next day, I would return it to the clothing store and they would refund me. I don’t have to go to the Nike manufacturer. That would be absurd.

    I got to the corporate office and the person I spoke to would not give me a refund, so I asked for her boss and she told me she would have them call me back. They never called me back. When you sell a product, you are responsible for the claims you make about the integrity of that product. If it fails, then you make it right. Basic customer service. I will mail it back. Drop it off at the store, whatever I need to do. I just want my money back. That’s it. This has become a matter of principle as well. A company who sells a faulty product that makes false claims about it (the sales person assured me it would do the job) and then doesn’t take responsibility for those false claims clearly lacks integrity and care for their customers. It’s $59. I’m not asking for a new mattress. Just to refund me for the mattress protector. It is ridiculous that it is this complicated.

    I don’t believe I will ever see that money again. It’s unbelievable. Not to mention the fact that my remote for my adjustable base was broken when taken out of the package. That was another nightmare itself. I have spent thousands of dollars at your store and you will never see another dime from me. I will not hesitate to tell others to never purchase a product from you either. The lack of pride in your business is astounding. This is a reasonable request. You should rethink the way you run your business.

    Don’t trust Mattrress FIRM. Their warranty is not true. Believe me, you will have a long journey with no warranty at all. And they put so many difficulties there waiting for you to avoid your warranty claim. I followed step by step to submit the claim form, and they didn’t answered for a month, and customer phone call was no response. Finally, they told me instead of the warranty or credit, they can give me a coupon to buy a new one!! I should have 10 years warranty, this is 7th year. The mattress problem made my back hurt for two years. I won’t buy from MattressFirm again. I think, the warranty is not a true story. It is a nightmare for me to waste time working with their customer service team.

    My wife and I bought a Beautyrest Black mattress a little over three years ago through the Mattress Firm website. However, after we bought it, I got a message that the mattress we ordered was on backorder with at least a month delay in delivery. When I spoke with an agent, she offered to send a Beautyrest Pressure Smart lux and refund the difference. We agreed to this, and they delivered the Pressure Smart mattress. While it was comfortable at first, over time the mattress seemed to break down, particularly along the edge.

    The edge became so soft that the last two feet became unuseable because if I got too close to the edge I feared I could actually fall off the bed. When I went to the local Mattress Firm store to look at the Stearns and Foster Lux Estate mattress to replace my Pressure Smart. I was told that the original mattress was in warranty and given instructions for filing a claim. With no great faith in companies honoring a warranty, I went ahead. I followed the instructions, took pictures as requested and filed the claim.

    Three days later I got a request for one additional photo, sent it, and the next day I was informed my claim had been honored and I would receive a credit equal to the price I paid for the Pressure Smart mattress. The next day I went back to the local store, showed them the letter honoring the claim, and bought the Stearns and Foster mattress. Two days later, the Stearns and Foster mattress was delivered and the Pressure Smart mattress was taken away..Based on this experience I have a whole new respect for Mattress Firm and how well they honor warranty. I am a very satisfied customer.

    I was excited to get a new bed and Mattress Firm sounded convenient. I was WRONG! They promote a 120 trial for your mattress. My deal came with a free adjustable base. Just the head adjusted. Anyway after 20 days I wanted to return the mattress. I was told or I read that I would have to use the bed for at least 60 days to allow the bed to acclimate to our body. 37 days in or so we couldn’t stand the bed. Tried to return it and was told that there’s a $200 restocking fee and a $99 pickup fee, BUT the adjustable base is non returnable

    I recently had a REALLY frustrating experience with Mattress Firm's delivery rescheduling process. I had to reschedule my delivery due to a holiday restriction at my building, but when I tried to change the date through chat, I was told my order was "locked" because it was already out for delivery and that I needed to call in the next day to request the reschedule. This policy seems needlessly inefficient—if a delivery is denied, it should be easy to reschedule.

    When I called, I was able to reschedule the delivery within minutes with the agent on the phone. This person confirmed my delivery 2 days later. But later on, I contacted support via chat again to request an update COI and this agent told me that my delivery *wasn’t* confirmed for 2 days later and that I’d need to call again the next day to confirm the reschedule. This was *never* mentioned during my phone call as the phone agent confirmed my delivery, leading to inconsistent and unclear communication. The process overall felt needlessly complicated and frustrating, wasting everyone’s time. Their agents lie, omit key information, and are overall unwilling to help.

    Let’s start from the beginning. It was only the convenience of location as to why I went there in the first place. The store was empty (now I understand why). There was one salesperson who was arrogant but that is the stereotype, so I overlooked that character flaw. He was appealingly sluggish and lazy from his appearance, yet he had zero patience. I am sure you know exactly what I mean, especially if you ever spent more than 5 minutes with a salesman who seemed better fit for couch potato on relief. He insisted that I was getting the best product from what was out there and I was getting a great deal. He had a reasonable answer for sidestepping all of the red flags I saw and questions I asked. He was also quite convincing (as most arrogant people are).

    So, I believed him (BIG mistake) and ended up with a piece of trash mattress that had all of the flaws I questioned! Regardless of the Buyer’s Regret Law, Mattress Firm REFUSED TO REFUND OR TAKE THE MATTRESS BACK! They did offer to replace the mattress with another piece of trash. Of course, what do they care?! They have your money. The next step is speak to the store manager. So, here is the rest of the story….

    The store manager is more arrogant than the salesman but he tries to cover it up at first with false sympathy and understanding. Once it gets down to business, he refuses to help. He is only interested in making money. He is condescending and often gives backhanded compliments. If the situation had been settled and he wasn’t holding the cards, I would have dished it right back, but as you know, biting our tongues usually is best. I can go on and on with details about how disgusting this store, staff, and practices are, but I will boil it down for you in one sentence that I stand firmly behind —- DO NOT EVEN WALK THROUGH THE DOORS OF THIS STORE!!

    I know this is a long rant and it’s more cathartic for me than I think it is of value to you. That said, I will write another review with bullet points to make it easier for anyone who is perusing the reviews. Thank you for reading this long review. I do hope it helped you. Buying a mattress/bed doesn’t happen every day (possibly not even every ten years) so it is a crucial decision that impacts our lives. Sleep is so very important to our health.     We bought our $2500 Queen-sized mattress with motorized bed frame in Piscataway, NJ. We also bought deep pocket sheets and pillows and pillow cases. The salesperson was great, but the service was a disaster. First, we were promised delivery two days before it actually happened and we were told that the installers would be able to fit the mattress into our existing bed by taking out the wooden frame and slats. It did not fit and the installers (who don't work for MF) at first refused to take out the wood, but then did so after my husband yelled and helped with the job. The wood was piled up outside; MF said they would take it away but they never did.

    Now for the sheets: we were told to return to the store the next day to pick them up. We did but they hadn't been delivered. Same thing the next day. Eventually they were there and that's when we picked up the pillows and pillow cases. Got the cases home only to discover the pillows were King-sized while the cases were Queen-sized. By this time, we were sick of dealing with MF and so we bought the right sized cases on Amazon for less than half the price we paid MF. Although we like the new mattress, the pillows aren't worth the price. I really wish we had read these reviews before we bought anything from Mattress Firm.

    We bought a massage chair at the State Fair of OK. Mateo the sales associate was wonderful. He looked up delivery for our area and told us it would be a certain date. We cleared our very busy schedule for that specific date. Agreed and decided to dish out over $6k for a chair. 2 days before delivery he informs us delivery has changed. We weren’t happy, breech of contract. We asked to speak with his manager and the manager immediately copped an attitude w/o even listening to our concerns of scheduling time off for this. He interrupted my husband over and over and didn’t allow us to voice our concerns.

    It was just matter of factly we don’t care and we got the $$ from you already. You’ll get it when we get it to you conversation. Be warned about this company. Not professional at all.     There are way too many details to put here. The bottom line is do not trust their customer satisfaction guarantee. Once I made a purchase of the infinity chair that I found immediately at my home did not fit as well as it had seemed in the first 10 minutes I was allowed to try it. I was publicly laughed at and made fun of at their location of which I purchased it. Telling me that I am stuck with it in that corporate won't do anything. I literally was left with no resolution. On top of that, my personal information was in furnished upon. When they had a burglary at one of their stores during this whole purchase and I was personally called by a sheriff questioning me as being part of their organization.

    Due to the paperwork that was found scattered amongst the burglary. I am highly confused and feel very victimized. In multiple accounts here. With no care or concern from Mattress Firm itself. Just left hanging and being made a joke. I am humiliated, very dissatisfied and vulnerable here. With the whole entire situation at hand. Still in the middle of trying to beg for some assistance and conversation and rectification of the situation. I am mortified of this full relationship dealing with them. I highly do not, do not recommend any purchase from these people if you are thinking that you will get any customer satisfaction guarantees that is a fact once they have your money you are nothing to them.     The worst purchase I’ve made in my entire life. That’s no understatement. This bed felt good In the showroom and the salesman was on his game. I was sold a mattress cover that is guaranteed to protect the mattress, however goes through third party. It doesn’t stop stains and a joke jumping through hoops to get it clean. The motors on both beds that make a king don’t work on the bottom and not under warranty. Again 3rd party major expense. $ 7000 dollar piece of junk. The beds separate so easily someone is falling in the crack, so had to order a special piece from Amazon to bridge the gap. Still paying for this junker and will never return to Mattress Firm again. Nothing they say that’s covered is really covered, especially by them.

    It’s a nightmare to get anything resolved. I feel like the biggest sucker and wish I had made a more informed decision. My point is this Serta, reclinable king bed is the biggest piece of junk ever. The light comes on underneath by itself constantly. The message feature is a joke because it rattles and makes a ton of noise but it’s hardly a message or relaxing thing. It’s a joke and I fell for it. Beware and do your research. Don’t buy!!!

    I am writing to address several serious concerns regarding my recent purchase of two mattresses from Mattress Firm Company. Despite the initial assurance of a 30-day return policy, I have encountered multiple issues:

    1. Inconsistent Restocking Fees: Initially, I was informed that the restocking fee would be $99 per mattress. However, after attempting to return the mattresses, I was told the fee had increased to $250 per mattress. Following my objection, I was later advised via text that the restocking fee was $140 per mattress. This repeated change in fees is confusing and unacceptable.

    2. Lack of Support and Communication: My attempts to contact Mattress Firm through phone calls and store visits were largely unsuccessful. When I did receive a response, the terms provided were inconsistent and did not align with the initial information.

    3. Conflicting Return Policy: The salesperson informed me that the 30-day period was for adjustment purposes and not a mandatory retention period before returning the mattresses. The new information suggesting a mandatory 30-day retention before return contradicts this and has caused significant inconvenience. The “Mandatory” has never been disclosed to me or displayed anywhere in the store or on the price tag information which is against the Customer Protection Law.

    4. Misrepresentation of Product Benefits: The mattresses have exacerbated my back pain rather than alleviating it, contrary to the claims made by the salesperson.

    It's been 2 weeks now since I have tried to get help with return and canceling my financing agreement, and they keep ignoring my messages and calls are not being answered or returned. Instead they kept telling me that the sales representative who sold the mattresses to me, is gone for the day. "She has a son to take care of", is their excuse and reasoning for not being able to take care of my calls or messages.

    When I purchase my Tempur-Pedic at Mattress Firm. First of all, they sold me an adjustable split base For a nonsplit mattress. I believe this was done so that they could make more money selling 2 separate base units. Then they proceeded to sell me an extended warranty period they Don't even cover the bed portion, as it's covered by mattress firm. They send you to Tempur-pedic. Which btw is a joke. Also my bed sagged when laying on it but unless you can see the sag without anyone on the bed it's not covered. After taking my bed apart to taking10 pictures. They send me back 2 mattress firm because Tempur only cover adjustable bases for 5 years, so you have to go to mattress firm warranty period.

    Finally, get an agent on the phone And they tell me, I have to call back To Tempur-Pedic. To get them all of the part numbers that they need to process the claim. When you pay five hundred dollars for a warranty, the least they can do is send somebody out to do all of the legwork for you instead of me having to do everything for a fifty dollar part.

    Very dishonest and unprofessional sales team. My parents are a little older and recovering from injuries due to a recent accident. We purchased a mattress and adjustable bed but were hesitant that the mattress wouldn’t be a good fit. They assured us repeatedly that if it didn’t work out we would pay a $150 fee and get the rest of our approximately $1200 expense back. Now not a week after delivery their story has changed. We would only get about $500 back. The same polite sales team before we made the purchase now incredibly rude and dismissive. I guess repeat business is not a concern. It’s ok, lesson learned. We’ll make sure we warn others.

    Today I tried to purchase two 30”x80” box springs. I think I irritated the salesman because he called it a split queen box. I asked if this would = 60”x80”. He assured me it would. I paid for it. Had to go to their warehouse for pick up. 5-10 miles away. At warehouse I was informed that I purchased 1 30”x80”. They did give me my money back. They wasted 2 hrs of my time, and 20 miles of diesel in my truck. Stupid Stupid Stupid. This is the second time I purchased from Mattress Firm and the second time I had to get refund. Shame on them the first time, shame on me for walking in their front door again. Never again!!!

    First off when we purchased our mattress from your company it was not like the commercial at all. You say sleep experts but that is not the case. We slept on our new mattress for 2 days and knew this was not the one. Fast delivery. Not so sure. When we returned the mattress we are having to wait 9 days to get the new one. Paid almost 3500.00 dollars then had to pay another 309.00 to swap it out. We got charged for returning the mattress. The lady ask if we read the back of the paper that stated all fees which they ended up charging me more than what it should have been. They should speak to the customers about that as they are purchasing. It's not the money part. It is the lack of effort on your team's part to well inform your customers as to exactly what is going to happen before they find out in a way that gets customers upset.

    The lady almost made it seem like it was our fault and she didn't know what the back of the paper said because she charged us 149.99 for the restock fee and the paper said 99.99. Her excuse was the dawn gave us the wrong paper. So you see what I'm saying as far as how some maybe not all stores deal with your customers but your Kokomo store sales order number is **. Will never have us through the door again and we will tell everyone we know about our experience. She acted like she didn't care at all. Just get it done. I've spent a lot less than that and had a much better experience. She never got up out of her chair during our visit.

    I had an adjustable bed frame that I bought just over a year ago from Mattress Firm. I selected this bed frame because I have sleep apnea and chronic fatigue syndrome and I was hoping this would help. It helped a lot and was wonderful while it lasted but unfortunately, while I was raising the bed, the metal sides of the frame bent rendering it unusable. I called in to confirm I had a warranty which I did and was told to call the warranty department to get it all settled. I called and spoke with a woman named Annessa **… what a nightmare that conversation was! I had a few questions about the process and how soon I could get a replacement. It takes moving heaven and Earth for me to get a good night sleep and actually be present the next day. A sleepy, irritable teacher doesn’t mix well with young children, this is a big deal for me.

    Every time I tried to ask a question, she would cut me off and tell me all questions had to wait until she got all the information from me. I get some things need more information for an accurate response but I was asking basic questions like “Is it possible to pick up in store rather than having it shipped” that's generally a store policy that should be known by someone in that position. She was so short with me and rude, I felt completely dismissed like I was bothering her or wasting her time. Here I am freaking out, trying not to have a panic attack because my lifeline has been disrupted and this person is treating me like I am a simple burden to get rid of. What happened to customer service?! I get she probably speaks to several people everyday and it’s got to be frustrating but if you can’t handle/don't’ like your job, find something else.

    After the call, I even called back to confirm the claim was submitted but I got her again and of course she said it was. She told me to expect a phone call in two days… well it’s been a month. I’m guessing I was right that she never submitted the claim. I tried emailing her again… I got a response saying call in and talk to someone else. What a joke! Mattress Firm is great but you REALLy need to find someone else to handle your warranty department! You never know what someone else is going through so you should always just be nice! Maybe try some compassion for others!

    My bed has been on the floor for a month now, this is not okay! Do you know how hard that is when you have a sleep apnea machine and the hose is constantly getting twisted all night?? This is not something I use because it’s nice to have, this is something that is medically necessary. Who is she to decide who to help and who to blow off? If you ever have to call the warranty department and happen to get Annessa **, I highly recommend asking to speak with someone else!

    I bought 2 sets of mattress and the warranty says after a certain amount of time allow your body to adjust to the mattress and I did. Mattress was just too hard for me so I called before the 120-day warranty was up and they told me I had to pay a restocking fee and a delivery fee or something of the sort. They do not make it clear about the return policy. Do not shop here, take my advice, go somewhere you can at least exchange or get your money back.

    I would not suggest this company. 3 mattresses in 3 years, their warranty is useless. And delivery and customer service is awful. Nothing but problems every step of the way. Not only do they claim ‘we have amazing 10 yr warranty!’ Only for defects. Not really for mattresses that lose their form in 6 mos! Not to mention the endless delivery issues when you give them the information they would run into. So first time. Can’t get a big truck to my location even though flat beds with forklifts can deliver here. So reschedule. Then they come back. And don’t even bring a smaller truck and driver delivers it no issue. Next mattress 6 mos later. They do a smaller truck but they deliver the wrong mattress and have to come back after moving everything multiple times for them to deliver it!

    Now. 3 mattresses in 2.5 years? First one lasted a year. Got the next one and it lasted 6 mos. Manager said the first one I should have let them know a warranty! So this time it’s even less time, and we do the warranty, denied. Springs digging into our backs and all. They go on about ‘do this and get 15% discount: oh, no that doesn’t work with a sale.' Ok, then don’t offer it if EVERYTHING IS ON SALE! And finally. Their chat says speak to an expert? No, you get a chat bot that will only send you in circles and no help and no agent. And even if you want to check an order, it just tells you what to do, doesn’t do it. So spent about 10k on mattresses and they do not care. Lesson learned. Will never use this company again. If there was a zero star; I would do it.

    I was given the runaround with them and they said they could do new bed frames when they cannot do it. I was given the end runaround by Mattress Firm and an oily salesperson provided me with expectations that weren't fulfilled. It is near impossible to get a bed frame and mattress from this company and to get it delivered in a timely manner.

    This has been the worst experience I have had with a company in years. I ordered my mattress, it's delivered on Saturday. They call to tell me they are here with my mattress. I go outside just for them to tell me they have to take it back because it's damaged. They tried to leave without giving ANY information like when would I get a new mattress or any type of info. I told them they need to call someone because I'm not sleeping on the floor because they screwed up. So after a few calls from people telling me they work at the warehouse it's not their problem. I was finally put in contact with a young lady that agreed to send me a "substitute" mattress and reimburse me 20 percent.

    I received the mattress on Labor Day, never received the 20percent reimbursement. My original mattress is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, haven't heard from the company AT ALL. SO I CALLED them to say I'd like to keep the substitute mattress. Needless to say the automated system does transfer you to a live person. It just tells you to go online or chat with a REPRESENTATIVE. Poor customer service Mattress Firm. This 1 star is for the young lady Alesha that did at least get me a substitute mattress.

    Over $2000 spent on Purple Mattress with obvious defect denied warranty due to mattress fabric having mild discoloration. Barely 2 years old...A joke of a company to avoid. Don't give them a dime.

    If I could give zero stars I definitely would. The warranty website is a joke!!! They have you jumping through hoops to take pictures and then deny your claims because you leave out one pic that isn’t even relevant to the claim. I was sold defective material that sags on the left and right side causing extreme back and hip pain!! I’ve taken numerous pictures but none are to their satisfaction. The mattress is under warranty yet they won’t do anything to resolve this matter!! I’m almost 70 years old. They expect me to lift up my mattress and take pictures of the frame, slats and the legs!! Seriously??? I have 3 slats and was told according to the video on the website that particular mattress needs to be supported by 5 slats. I have 10 business days to purchase a new frame with 5 slats!! This is soooooo unbelievable!! I will NEVER do business with this company again!!! The BBB needs to be involved in their shenanigans!!

    I recently attempted to use a $300 I received from purchasing a Stearns & Foster mattress to buy a crib, only to be informed that it couldn't be used for furniture, which is their policy. However, when I tried to use the credit for other items along with a promo code, I found the customer service to be quite unhelpful. The online representative repeatedly insisted that the promo code couldn’t be applied without explaining why, despite there being no clear guidelines against it.

    Eventually, I spoke with a representative named Henrietta. Unfortunately, she was also unable to provide any clarity on why the promo code couldn’t be combined with the credit. Instead, she spoke over me and came across as rude, making it feel like she was doing me a favor just by talking to me. She pressured me to use the credit immediately or risk losing it, which felt very forceful and contrary to their own policies. Overall, my experience with customer service was disappointing and left me feeling unheard and frustrated. It seems they are unwilling to listen to their customers or adhere to their stated guidelines.

    First I will warn others to NEVER purchase from an Events team with Mattress Firm at a state fair or any event they may be at. Absolutely feel free to test out the beds, jump on them, find the one you like, but do not buy it from that team and go to your local store. The Events teams are only out for a quick sale. After that, they do not do any of the questions or returns and IF they bother to return your call, they will refer you to your local store anyway to do the return or exchange. Save yourself the hassle and go to the store to make the purchase. You will get a better price and better service.

    We made the mistake of buying a mattress at the Wisconsin State Fair. The service was fine but after the mattress was delivered I went to the local store to buy a mattress cover and found out that I was supposed to get an additional $300 of accessories and other options that were not offered by the original sales guy. When I called and texted him, he said you will get the credit. Never happened. I finally decided to return the mattress and exchange it for a different one. Our local store in Sheboygan Wi was absolutely amazing. Not only did they correct all the mistakes from the state fair sale, they gave us the best price on the upgraded mattress and also the additional $300 offer. Jonathan and Kayla went above and beyond to keep us as a returning customer. There are good people at Mattress Firm. Just not the Events team. So again avoid purchasing from any events and stick to buying from the stores.

    Very pleased with Mattress Firm and especially with the salesman Steve. He is the guru of mattress. Really knows his mattress. At the branch in Albuquerque. My girlfriend bought a new adjustable queen and Steve made it such a good experience that I bought the same setup. STEVE YOU'RE THE MAN!!!!

    I bought a box spring online. Delivery was quick and painless. Turns out I didn't need it, but I can't return it, even though I've had it less two days and it's still in it's factory sealed packing, because it's considered "furniture". Just a heads up. Awful return policy.
