    We told the salesman our maximal limit to pay for a mattress, and instead of trying to give us information, he made us feel like we have walked into an upscale boutique with our pajamas on. His attitude made me decide that I would never spend my money on anything he sells. Being older myself, I love the idea of older people staying in the work force, but age is not an excuse to be condescending and uninterested to make a sale.

    We bought a split mattress with adjustable base. After 2 days we knew this bed was not working out so we called the store in ontario, ohio. The salesperson had stated the base could not be returned. We asked this salesperson if we could return the entire bed before we purchased and were told yes no problem. Now we are stuck with a queen adjustable base that is worthless.

    I bought a mattress. Everything was good until after a week. It started to bulge on both sides. I put in a claim. They told me it was because of my box spring. I wish they would have told me I needed a new one when I said that I had a box spring.

    My husband and I went to the Mattress Firm in Gainesville, Ga in November 2024. The sales staff were nice and welcoming. Renee, our salesperson, was personable and listened to us. Renee took time with us to show us several bed. We left without purchasing because we wanted to talk it over. We returned a couple days later and purchased the mattress. Renee was able to price match the same mattress we found at another store. Renee gave us a great deal, or so we thought. We purchased the Sealy Posturepedic Plus hybrid High Point Plush. We purchased the plush due to Renee's recommendations and after trying it out in the store. Delivery of the mattress was a good experience.

    We slept on it the first night and it was OK. With the knowledge of the 120-night sleep trial, we decided to reserve judgment. After a while, we felt that the mattress was too soft and causing restless nights. So we decided to exchange the mattress for the firmer version, knowing that there would be a $249 restocking fee. We didn't expect to pay an additional $200-$300 on top of the restocking fee. I was told via text messages with Eric at the store, we would have to pay the difference between the current mattress and the new mattress (which is the same bed only in firm, it was the same price). We would also have to pay for another delivery and set up. Total to exchange would be $534.99.

    I called and spoke with Renee. She told us that if we exchange the mattress it would be the $249 and the additional $200. She didn't mention about the delivery and set up fee. Then she told me the mattress that we had purchased was discontinued. We feel that Renee should have known the current mattress was going to be discontinued when we made the purchase. This would have made an impact on our decision.

    I asked her about returning the mattress and receive a refund. She said there would still be the restocking fee (which we understand), but an additional $200 for the adjustable base that she gave us a deal on. So, no matter what we do, exchange or return we will have to pay Mattress Firm an additional $200-$300. I advise you to think long and hard before purchasing a mattress from Mattress Firm. We are considering posting this review on Yelp and Facebook.

    I have never bought a Mattress Firm mattress and NEVER will. Their “how do you sleep at night” ads are despicable. They show mean, selfish individuals who promote behaviors that totally disregard any moral foundation. These customers berate children, are nasty and self centered, and show no respect for others. SHAME on you.

    Sagging mattress after less than one year. I was told warranty was voided because I didn't use 5 slats, I only used 4. Five seems to be Mattress Firm's protocol. I have had the bedroom set for 35 years and other mattresses and always used 4 slats and never had a problem. Mattress Firm offered me a 20% discount coupon for a future purchase. Twenty percent in New York just about covers the sales tax forget about any discount on the actual cost of the mattress.

    I went in the Willowbrook Mall store and a Salesman by the name of Ray really took care of me. A really nice guy. I am really satisfied with my bed. I really needed a good bed and he fixed me up not only once but two different times. He will take care of you. Thank you Ray.

    Numerous times when we asked James we were told yes every time. At not point and time were we told that the mattress is returnable but the Smart base is not. Now we $8000 worth of bed mattress bases that we now have no use for. Mind you we have only had the mattress set since January 21st 2025. When we went into the store James met us and would only point to "look at your paperwork it is in there as the policy". "I can return the mattress but not the base".

    If we would have known this we would not have purchased since we have ZERO use for the mattress base without a mattress. We feel like James was not truthful in telling us we could return the bed set. We feel like his commission that was made meant more to him than a returning customer. I have filed a BBB complaint and now we wait to see what happens.. Will update but right now I would not recommend this location unless you want to be lied to and cheated out of $1,000's of your hard earned money.

    Mattress Firm customer support and warranty service basically rips you off. Will try to disapprove your warranty over the littlest item and then once you are able to combat that and get a credit/exchange approved they make it impossible not to spend additional money rather than exchange for equal or comparable item. Rather they force you into using it to spend money as you cannot use a "store credit" toward sale items.

    Did not get to return, they showed up on the wrong day and 85 yr old mother has to be medically transferred by health aid to other room before they come, but they showed up without notice on Sunday morning when the health aid was not here. Also when we bought bed for mom in December, they set up a double 2 piece king base with 2 remotes which was not what store manager sold us which was supposed to be a Tempur Ergo Smart King 1-piece base but they won't exchange it or give refund. Base has caused my mother to nearly slip off her side of bed. DM Janelle was supposed to contact us but never did. We've sent emails to Christian at the store it came from but no reply. Zip code 92201.

    Well I got talked into buying a PressureSmart™ 2.0 Plush 11.75". Paid 1,049, it's not a plush mattress,,,, I have back pain and hip pain. The mattress is hard as a rock,, just got it today 1/27/2025, the store model was a lot softer, I am going to try to see if I can sleep in it for 30 days, should have bought from Mattress World Northwest in Gresham,, they had a better deal on a mattress.

    I want to start off saying I NEVER write reviews but I had to on this one. On the 8th of December I returned home from vacation. I had to order a new mattress I did but when I checked my email that same evening I seen that they actually ordered me a mattress topper!!! So I quickly called the online number back and was told I could not return it because FedEx had already picked it up. Which was a lie because it was a Sunday night!!! Smh so I let them deliver it then I would return it to the store UNOPENED, I was told I couldn't do that so long story short I was finally allowed to return it to the store after months of arguing back and forth. I returned it to the store was told it would take 5 business days and today is not the 23rd of January and I still have NOT received my refund!!

    Franklin and Kelvin were a knowledgeable tag team for my mattress shopping experience. I had done my research and they listened to my needs and requests. They gave honest responses, were well informed and made this experience easy and actually fun. I did not feel pressured into making a decision and they asked me to do additional measurements when I returned home to ensure I was getting the mattress that would best suit my needs.

    Mattress Firm needs their license taken away. They do not follow any policies regarding manufacturers set pricing and will undercut others illegally to steal business. Please close them down. They have no morals whatsoever.

    I ordered mattress from Mattress Firm in Dec 2024. Mattress was delivered promptly. However, delivery people did damage to some of my property and I had to submit claim for same. Claim was submitted in Dec but I have still not received the compensation for the damage. I was told they will mail the cheque in December itself but nothing yet. Every time I call their customer service, they did me our claims department will give you call in 24hrs and I do not received any call. And the cycle continues. Their delivery service is a scam and just looting people without providing proper service in case of damages they do.

    The customer service and the deliver were great. However, the pillows I tried in the store did not match what I received and ordered. These pillows were $150 each and I got 2 of them. ($300 total,) I simply called the store I ordered them from to see about a refund the day I received them and they told me that they do not refund accessories. They are $300 pillows and flat. This to me is false advertising and they get to keep my money. Not happy about this. Will not be shopping at Mattress Firm in the future knowing this. Buyer beware. Don't think this is standard practice in sales but the store I purchase these pillow from are at the 2501 S US Highway 27 in Clermont, FL location.

    If you purchase a mattress from Mattress Firm make sure you understand the warranty. If you have stains on the mattress they can void the warranty for poor craftsmanship. I have a Purple mattress and it is destroyed in only 3 years of ownership. The sides have split and the springs are sticking through the mattress causing a very poor night's sleep. I know the 10 and 20 year warrantees they say they have are garbage but I thought a 3 year old mattress that fell apart would be covered regardless of staining. The mattress is unusable at that point any how. We even used their employee recommended mattress protector to prevent stains but that product was also garbage. Go somewhere else that might have a better warranty. They make this warranty this way to ensure they never have to cover a mattress. I will contact purple as well just in case they have more integrity.

    Steven **. Attn; do not buy from Mattress firm. Absolutely terrible customer service. We bought a Vectar mattress from them in Las Vegas, 12 months later it's sagging, they charged us $80. To send out a company to inspect the mattress, the inspector found that it was indeed sagging, but claims it's normal? After 12 months ?? That's not normal. We called Nectar directly, they said if we had bought it directly from them it would be covered and replaced, but mattress refuses to do anything to help us. We are caught in the middle with a defective mattress after 1 year. Stay away, save your money.

    The store manager was nice enough to allow me to make monthly payments until the mattresses were paid in full. After the final payment was made, a delivery date was scheduled a week before guest were to arrive. The mattress foundation was delivered from Jacksonville, FL and was wrapped in plastic- which was fine. When the plastic was removed there was a large tear and would need to be replaced. I contacted the store manager and he requested a new foundation. It took two days to receive the new foundation. When the new foundation was received and replaced the damaged one it was worst. The foundation was covered with very sheer garden fabric that was torn, staples were not completely securing the fabric, corners of the foundation were not covered and protected.

    I contacted the store manager again and he apologized for the inconvenience. He eventually gave me the foundation from the store's floor model and delivered it and set-up. He was upset that the warehouse shipped something that was totally of poor quality. Apparently, my zip code in Georgia was associated with a warehouse that ships poor quality merchandise. I would not recommend using their products unless you live in an upscale neighborhood. That is a shame!

    Three years ago I bought a Simmons BeautyRest from Mattress Firm. It immediately starting sagging wherever I slept. You can see it & can definitely feel it. A few months ago I went thru the process of what they require when you file a complaint. I disassembled the bed, uploaded pictures, etc. Even though it sags, they determined it "meets their criteria". I would love for whoever made that determination to sleep on one like it. What good is a 10 year warranty? I was very upset and will never buy from them again & trust me I NEED a new mattress! I'm a retired senior on a small SS income so I guess I'm stuck with a saggy mattress. Not the way to treat a consumer, now a former consumer.

    They will find any reason to deny your warranty claims. I submitted a claim on my king sized mattress for sagging that was about 4.5in deep on the side I sleep on. I’ve rotated the mattress many times over the last couple years but that side always sags. I went to the store and asked about the warranty and instructed on how to submit the warranty claim. I submitted everything as instructed and they denied my sagging claim because there was a small stain/discoloration on the mattress. The two things aren’t even related! And I just went in store to purchase a new mattress but after this experience I will be purchasing elsewhere. Don’t trust their practices.

    So, here's my review. I've been buying from Mattress Firm for the past 15 years. I love the products and have only had one negative experience with the store on 94th and Western in Chicago. I've always chosen them over American Mattress. Long story short, I purchased a new home in February 2023. I wasn't going to ready to move in until May of 2023, but I wanted everything to be ready for when I got there. I ordered an extra mattress for one of my bedrooms online.... (big mistake) and was told that the mattress would be delivered in a few days. Well, I never got a phone call or a delivery. When I went to check online, it says the mattress had been delivered. Now, I'm wondering how it was delivered when there was nobody at the house and no phone call to set up for someone to be there. I emailed constantly and was told that UPS delivered it. I asked my UPS driver and he said no, must have been a sub. STILL NO MATTRESS.

    AWFUL warranty company SERVEPRO which Mattress Firm swears by. I have been waiting for parts since March 2024. I have been paying for a base I cannot use. George swore by the warranty and SERVEPRO cannot service the needs of the consumer. Neither George or his Manager have tried to assist me. I bought 2 bases and mattresses. Once you purchase they clean their hands with the consumer. The only reason they received one star is because you can't post without giving them at least one star. THEY DESERVE -0- STARS.

    We purchased a Serta Sandburg mattress from Mattress Firm in February, 2022. After less than three years, the mattress is breaking down. We paid $1100 for it. Serta has a 10 year warranty and we never got the warranty card from Mattress Firm. Serta requires that we file under the warranty with Mattress Firm and were directed to the online site by Mattress Firm. After an hour of taking the required photos and measurements per their website on a Sunday, it was denied within a couple of hours that same day. The denial letter was one with ten different reasons and they checked the box based on improper frame. Our mattress sits on a boxspring that is very stable. Our prior mattress sat in the same bedframe and boxspring with no issues. We got rid of it based on its age (over 20 years old). I would not recommend buying a mattress as they are overpriced and the warranty is meaningless.

    Anthony at the Federal Hwy location in Boca Raton was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the mattress we were looking for.. He pointed out options and gave info about spring coil count and mattress toppers.. We also got next day delivery.. Very happy about that. The delivery men, Nestor and Manuel were as nice as could be, and they made sure to give my dog some attention.. This is the third time I've used Mattress Firm. Great company!

    Not recommended at all. If I give it one star it is too much. Unfortunately I did not check this page before buying the mattress. I think the mattresses they sell are old. I spent more than a thousand dollars buying a firm mattress and in 5 months it no longer works, Beautyrest brand (supposedly a good brand). The answer they gave me about the warranty is that it does not apply when the mattress sags. If you ask someone to inspect the mattress you must pay a fee on your own. The company offers you a 40% discount for the purchase of another mattress. It would be very sad to spend money again buying in that store whose products are of poor quality. I thought it was a serious store.

    I ordered 3 mattresses at the East Boca Raton, Florida location 10 days before delivery. While placing the order I specified to the salesperson that my building requires COI & Workers Comp for deliveries. Soon after I made this known to the manager so that there would be no denial of delivery. I spoke with the manager, Shawn a day prior as I was told by my concierge Mattress Firm delivery had not supplied the necessary paperwork required. The morning of the delivery I was called again, NO paperwork from Mattress Firm.

    I called Shawn, he began to yell at me. He had no time for me, and couldn’t assist me! Really? This wasn’t a short notice. I requested this information 10 days prior. I needed my mattresses. I had no choice but to have them left at our buildings receiving and paying someone in the building to carry a king and 2 twin mattresses. Shawn the manager is a disgrace, who lacks customer/client services. If he continues to work at Mattress Firm his only position should be to count the mattresses. If he can get that done correctly. Rude!

    Not impressed with Mattress Firm. Ordered a new mattress on black Friday and it said the label for shipping was created the next Tuesday December 3rd. It's now the 11th, almost 2 weeks since ordering the mattress, with the mattress still not have left the store. The first time I messaged customer service about a week after putting in the order and they said to wait a week and get back to them the next Tuesday.

    I got back to them the next Tuesday and the customer service rep ended the chat in the middle of me asking a question trying to figure out what was going on, which made me extra frustrated with this company. In fact, they recommended just canceling the order before closing the chat. I got ahold of another rep that was much more professional that told me she put in a complaint about my order having no change in status over 2 weeks and that they would get back to me in 5 days. This was yesterday, so we'll see if mattress firm can even get this order found and delivered, let alone recover from being such a failure of a company with terrible customer service reps working for them.

    I will never buy another mattress from Mattress Firm. When my Serta Mattress began to sag, I submitted a claim under the warranty. After a frustrating two times of submitting the claim because my pictures were never good enough, the claim was denied, due as they said to normal wear. They make the warranty process so daunting and probably have no intention of fulfilling it. Most people probably give up because of all the pictures they ask you to submit. I will never buy another Serta Mattress or go into another Mattress Firm Store.

    I am a just a layman with severe injuries from an Auto accident looking to NOT sleep on the floor anymore but enjoy a restful night on a quality mattress. I made a purchase that I thought would come in a box but was just a mattress all out therefore I had to return it and get in touch with Customer service to help me purchase a new one that is in a box. I just want to say that the difference in service and communication between Klondie - who was a 10/10 and Aubrey who is 'just tired!' is like night and day. Aubrey in my candid opinion needs a break from all the customer enquiries. Instead of a nonchalant, uncaring attitude and cold demeanor when chatting, let her have a break. It is just my kind review. So disappointed and wishing that Klondie can call me back because she selected the best mattresses for me that are within my budget. Thank you Klondie!

    Mattress Firm's unethical business practices. We paid white glove delivery. They sent independent driver that damaged our property entering our home. The delivery men were aggressive, refused remove dirty boots, damaged our carpets & walls. MF denied responsibilities. They sold white glove delivery! There was nothing white glove about it. Do not use them.

    I first purchased a memory foam online with a 'Lea' via text that didn't work for me due to my physical condition! I attempted to contact 'lea' who then handed me over to texting with a 'Jack' when I wanted to exchange the memory foam mattress for the one that 'jack' suggested, and was told it was less expensive and that my mother could expect a refund credited to her green american express card that would be a little less than $400.00 within 7 to 10 business days! I just called Mattress Firm and was told that my mother Would not be getting a refund of any amount because there was actually a fee of $99.00 for exchanging a mattress, and that I should contact 'lea' or 'jack' because "The company does not operate in that manner, and I'm sorry ms **!"

    I agreed to allow Both 'lea' and 'jack' to 'upsell' me when I added the sheet sets and pillows, and paid for the set up which was simply placing the mattresses on the metal foundation! This is very unfair, and unscrupulous practices to me, and I will never recommend mattress firm as I had just done yesterday to anyone again! Interestingly enough, I have a phone that erased the texts from 'lea' and from 'jack', and I have no recourse!

    We purchased a Serta plush pillow top. I did know what I wanted as we had a serta built in pillow top before. Although it was a top pillowtop it felt very similar to the first one we had. I had been experiencing extreme pain on the mattress we had purchased online (a box mattress). Worst we ever had. The serta has significantly elevated the pain and I recommend this mattress highly. The salesman was polite and helpful in the sale. Easy transaction and had the new mattress delivered in 2 days. Very pleased with the purchase and the delivery. Go buy it!

    I just saw the most disgusting commercial I've ever seen in my life. It's of a mother bullying a handicapped child because he has a handicapped arm. And when asked how she sleeps at night she says, "Oh I sleep really well because I sleep on a Mattress Firm mattress". We may live in a time where some people are being rewarded for being bullies. But I don't have to give my money to that. I am just about to buy 2 queen size mattresses and 4 twin mattresses. I will not be buying them at Mattress Firm because of this stupid commercial.

    I bought a mattress in Mattress Firm. The condition of purchase was that they take away the old frame. I asked 3 times - the answer was affirmative. When the mattress frame was delivered, they flatly refused to take it away. I was told that they never take the frames away, and workers who sell mattresses are engaged in deception. I am an unemployed disabled person. When he turned to Mattress Firm- all their response was-sorry.

The remote is no longer working for our bed and Mattress Firm is unable to offer parts and their affiliates, in this case, Legget & Platt, make it almost impossible to get them the information they need without taking the bed apart.     I bought a mattress from Mattress Firm 2 yrs ago the same one I had bought from Ashley Furniture 8 yrs ago. I only replaced it because it was 8 yrs old. Nothing was wrong with it. It said new on mattress firm's site but after 1 yr it got a hump in the middle. After 2 yrs the fabric is torn so bad I have to patch the hole with a fabric patch. They sell reconditioned mattresses without telling the customer. I will never buy from mattress firm again.

    So what happens if you buy a mattress for over $ 2,500. at Mattress Firm and in less than one year it is found to be defective. Well let me tell you, you are in trouble, just like me. They give you a $2,500 allowance on a new mattress!! That sounds great right. NOT REALLY. It's not really an allowance.. What?? You can only use it for a for a new purchase at list price not their discounted price that you paid when you bought the first one!! So since their NEW mattress (you see your 2500$ two year old mattress is now OLD) not only went up $500. but you can't buy it at the "new sale price" which is always on sale" is $ 1000. more than you would normally pay. You now have to PAY PICK UP AND DELIVERY ON THE NEW MATTRESS. which only lasted you 2 years. What a racket!

    Bottom line, you did not get a $ 2,500 allowance, you only got a $ 850. credit compared to a customer what walks into the store off the street PLUS ANYONE OFF THE STREET CAN NEGOTIATE WITH THEM AND GET A FREE TOPPER AND AN ADDITIIONAL DISCOUNT WHICH YOU CANNOT DO. So, you paid $2,500. plus tax and your credit is really $500. or under on a replacement mattress. WHAT A RIP OFF. STAY AWAY!

    I purchased a King Mattress, King Box Springs and Frame from MattressFirm.com for $999.99 on October 5, 2024. Mattress Firm promised delivery on October 13, 2024 with the promise that the delivery men would remove the old bed, box springs and frame and dispose of it all. Further, they contracted to have the delivery men set up the new frame and set up the new box springs and mattress. On, Sunday, 10-13-2024, at 9AM, two men showed up with the bed and box springs, but they had no frame. I asked them where the frame was and they said it would be delivered at a later date. I asked about them how they could set up the new bed without a frame to put it on and they said I could call and arrange for them to come back and set the bed up when I got the frame.

    I am disabled and had taken down the old bed so I could clean the room prior to the arrival of the new bed. So, I told them I would not accept delivery of the bed and box springs and would cancel the order with Mattress Firm for their failure to fulfill the contract. It took me two days to get Mattress Firm to cancel the contract and when I asked about the refund of my money they had taken from my Credit Card they said it could take from 7 to 10 days for the money to be refunded to my account. It is now the 26th of October and in speaking to Mattress Firm about my frustrations with their breach of contract and failure to refund my money to my account they said they would have to look into it and get back to me. Mattress Firm did not inform me at the time of my purchase that a 3rd Party would be contracted with in order to deliver my bed and frame.

    When 3rd Party delivery men told me I'd have to wait for the frame to be delivered and then call them to reschedule them to come out and set up my new frame and bed, I saw many days and/or weeks before I would have my new bed set up and the old bed removed, so I cancelled the contract and refused the "partial delivery" of my bed, i.e., Breach of Contract by Mattress Firm. After my experience with Mattress Firm and their inability to refund my money in a timely manner (when they took my money within minutes my purchase), I WOULD NEVER EVER GIVE THEM ANYTHING OTHER THAN MY DISDAIN FOR THEIR FAILURE TO DELIVER MY NEW BED AND FRAME AS CONTRACTED WITH ME!

    I purchased a new bed and frame from Amazon at less than half the price I was going to pay Mattress Firm, it was delivered in two days and I was able to set the bed up that day and was sleeping on my new bed that night. BUYER BEWARE if you ever consider buying a bed from Mattress Firm, but I strongly recommend don't even give them the opportunity to turn your hopes of having sweet dreams you can count on them to deliver nightmares to you.     I will never purchase anything from Mattress Firm again and I will encourage anyone I can to not do so either. I purchased a waterproof mattress cover with my mattress and was told it had a ten year guarantee. I purchased it for peace of mind as I struggle with urinary incontinence. I was assured that it would work. The first night I slept on my mattress we put the protector on it and my urine went straight through it and onto the mattress. We cleaned the mattress well, but I was forced to spend more money to buy one that actually works.

    I tried contacting the manufacturer associated with this ten year guarantee and once I finally got ahold of them, they said that I could return the product at my own expense and then they would send me the same product in exchange. Clearly the product is not actually waterproof. Sending me the same thing again won’t solve the problem. It’s still not going to be waterproof and I still won’t be able to use it. All I want is a refund. They refused. So, I emailed the sales person who never emailed me back. I called the store and was told that you don’t refund accessories, only the manufacturer does that. If I went to a clothing store and bought a Nike sweatshirt and it tore the next day, I would return it to the clothing store and they would refund me. I don’t have to go to the Nike manufacturer. That would be absurd.

    I got to the corporate office and the person I spoke to would not give me a refund, so I asked for her boss and she told me she would have them call me back. They never called me back. When you sell a product, you are responsible for the claims you make about the integrity of that product. If it fails, then you make it right. Basic customer service. I will mail it back. Drop it off at the store, whatever I need to do. I just want my money back. That’s it. This has become a matter of principle as well. A company who sells a faulty product that makes false claims about it (the sales person assured me it would do the job) and then doesn’t take responsibility for those false claims clearly lacks integrity and care for their customers. It’s $59. I’m not asking for a new mattress. Just to refund me for the mattress protector. It is ridiculous that it is this complicated.

    I don’t believe I will ever see that money again. It’s unbelievable. Not to mention the fact that my remote for my adjustable base was broken when taken out of the package. That was another nightmare itself. I have spent thousands of dollars at your store and you will never see another dime from me. I will not hesitate to tell others to never purchase a product from you either. The lack of pride in your business is astounding. This is a reasonable request. You should rethink the way you run your business.

    Don’t trust Mattrress FIRM. Their warranty is not true. Believe me, you will have a long journey with no warranty at all. And they put so many difficulties there waiting for you to avoid your warranty claim. I followed step by step to submit the claim form, and they didn’t answered for a month, and customer phone call was no response. Finally, they told me instead of the warranty or credit, they can give me a coupon to buy a new one!! I should have 10 years warranty, this is 7th year. The mattress problem made my back hurt for two years. I won’t buy from MattressFirm again. I think, the warranty is not a true story. It is a nightmare for me to waste time working with their customer service team.

    I was excited to get a new bed and Mattress Firm sounded convenient. I was WRONG! They promote a 120 trial for your mattress. My deal came with a free adjustable base. Just the head adjusted. Anyway after 20 days I wanted to return the mattress. I was told or I read that I would have to use the bed for at least 60 days to allow the bed to acclimate to our body. 37 days in or so we couldn’t stand the bed. Tried to return it and was told that there’s a $200 restocking fee and a $99 pickup fee, BUT the adjustable base is non returnable

    I was specifically told that the mattress I purchased was fully guaranteed by Mattress Firm by the salesperson. No one told me I was purchasing a used mattress. I WOULD NEVER PURCHASE A USED MATTRESS...WHO WOULD?? A Serta Perfect sleeper, extra firm should NOT sag in less than 3 months, but it did. Over $500 for imperfection. That is NOT what I purchased.     I recently had a REALLY frustrating experience with Mattress Firm's delivery rescheduling process. I had to reschedule my delivery due to a holiday restriction at my building, but when I tried to change the date through chat, I was told my order was "locked" because it was already out for delivery and that I needed to call in the next day to request the reschedule. This policy seems needlessly inefficient—if a delivery is denied, it should be easy to reschedule.

    When I called, I was able to reschedule the delivery within minutes with the agent on the phone. This person confirmed my delivery 2 days later. But later on, I contacted support via chat again to request an update COI and this agent told me that my delivery *wasn’t* confirmed for 2 days later and that I’d need to call again the next day to confirm the reschedule. This was *never* mentioned during my phone call as the phone agent confirmed my delivery, leading to inconsistent and unclear communication. The process overall felt needlessly complicated and frustrating, wasting everyone’s time. Their agents lie, omit key information, and are overall unwilling to help.

    Let’s start from the beginning. It was only the convenience of location as to why I went there in the first place. The store was empty (now I understand why). There was one salesperson who was arrogant but that is the stereotype, so I overlooked that character flaw. He was appealingly sluggish and lazy from his appearance, yet he had zero patience. I am sure you know exactly what I mean, especially if you ever spent more than 5 minutes with a salesman who seemed better fit for couch potato on relief. He insisted that I was getting the best product from what was out there and I was getting a great deal. He had a reasonable answer for sidestepping all of the red flags I saw and questions I asked. He was also quite convincing (as most arrogant people are).

    So, I believed him (BIG mistake) and ended up with a piece of trash mattress that had all of the flaws I questioned! Regardless of the Buyer’s Regret Law, Mattress Firm REFUSED TO REFUND OR TAKE THE MATTRESS BACK! They did offer to replace the mattress with another piece of trash. Of course, what do they care?! They have your money. The next step is speak to the store manager. So, here is the rest of the story….

    The store manager is more arrogant than the salesman but he tries to cover it up at first with false sympathy and understanding. Once it gets down to business, he refuses to help. He is only interested in making money. He is condescending and often gives backhanded compliments. If the situation had been settled and he wasn’t holding the cards, I would have dished it right back, but as you know, biting our tongues usually is best. I can go on and on with details about how disgusting this store, staff, and practices are, but I will boil it down for you in one sentence that I stand firmly behind —- DO NOT EVEN WALK THROUGH THE DOORS OF THIS STORE!!

    I know this is a long rant and it’s more cathartic for me than I think it is of value to you. That said, I will write another review with bullet points to make it easier for anyone who is perusing the reviews. Thank you for reading this long review. I do hope it helped you. Buying a mattress/bed doesn’t happen every day (possibly not even every ten years) so it is a crucial decision that impacts our lives. Sleep is so very important to our health.     We bought our $2500 Queen-sized mattress with motorized bed frame in Piscataway, NJ. We also bought deep pocket sheets and pillows and pillow cases. The salesperson was great, but the service was a disaster. First, we were promised delivery two days before it actually happened and we were told that the installers would be able to fit the mattress into our existing bed by taking out the wooden frame and slats. It did not fit and the installers (who don't work for MF) at first refused to take out the wood, but then did so after my husband yelled and helped with the job. The wood was piled up outside; MF said they would take it away but they never did.

    Now for the sheets: we were told to return to the store the next day to pick them up. We did but they hadn't been delivered. Same thing the next day. Eventually they were there and that's when we picked up the pillows and pillow cases. Got the cases home only to discover the pillows were King-sized while the cases were Queen-sized. By this time, we were sick of dealing with MF and so we bought the right sized cases on Amazon for less than half the price we paid MF. Although we like the new mattress, the pillows aren't worth the price. I really wish we had read these reviews before we bought anything from Mattress Firm.

    We bought a massage chair at the State Fair of OK. Mateo the sales associate was wonderful. He looked up delivery for our area and told us it would be a certain date. We cleared our very busy schedule for that specific date. Agreed and decided to dish out over $6k for a chair. 2 days before delivery he informs us delivery has changed. We weren’t happy, breech of contract. We asked to speak with his manager and the manager immediately copped an attitude w/o even listening to our concerns of scheduling time off for this. He interrupted my husband over and over and didn’t allow us to voice our concerns.

    It was just matter of factly we don’t care and we got the $$ from you already. You’ll get it when we get it to you conversation. Be warned about this company. Not professional at all.     There are way too many details to put here. The bottom line is do not trust their customer satisfaction guarantee. Once I made a purchase of the infinity chair that I found immediately at my home did not fit as well as it had seemed in the first 10 minutes I was allowed to try it. I was publicly laughed at and made fun of at their location of which I purchased it. Telling me that I am stuck with it in that corporate won't do anything. I literally was left with no resolution. On top of that, my personal information was in furnished upon. When they had a burglary at one of their stores during this whole purchase and I was personally called by a sheriff questioning me as being part of their organization.

    Due to the paperwork that was found scattered amongst the burglary. I am highly confused and feel very victimized. In multiple accounts here. With no care or concern from Mattress Firm itself. Just left hanging and being made a joke. I am humiliated, very dissatisfied and vulnerable here. With the whole entire situation at hand. Still in the middle of trying to beg for some assistance and conversation and rectification of the situation. I am mortified of this full relationship dealing with them. I highly do not, do not recommend any purchase from these people if you are thinking that you will get any customer satisfaction guarantees that is a fact once they have your money you are nothing to them.     The worst purchase I’ve made in my entire life. That’s no understatement. This bed felt good In the showroom and the salesman was on his game. I was sold a mattress cover that is guaranteed to protect the mattress, however goes through third party. It doesn’t stop stains and a joke jumping through hoops to get it clean. The motors on both beds that make a king don’t work on the bottom and not under warranty. Again 3rd party major expense. $ 7000 dollar piece of junk. The beds separate so easily someone is falling in the crack, so had to order a special piece from Amazon to bridge the gap. Still paying for this junker and will never return to Mattress Firm again. Nothing they say that’s covered is really covered, especially by them.

    It’s a nightmare to get anything resolved. I feel like the biggest sucker and wish I had made a more informed decision. My point is this Serta, reclinable king bed is the biggest piece of junk ever. The light comes on underneath by itself constantly. The message feature is a joke because it rattles and makes a ton of noise but it’s hardly a message or relaxing thing. It’s a joke and I fell for it. Beware and do your research. Don’t buy!!!

    I am writing to address several serious concerns regarding my recent purchase of two mattresses from Mattress Firm Company. Despite the initial assurance of a 30-day return policy, I have encountered multiple issues:

    1. Inconsistent Restocking Fees: Initially, I was informed that the restocking fee would be $99 per mattress. However, after attempting to return the mattresses, I was told the fee had increased to $250 per mattress. Following my objection, I was later advised via text that the restocking fee was $140 per mattress. This repeated change in fees is confusing and unacceptable.

    2. Lack of Support and Communication: My attempts to contact Mattress Firm through phone calls and store visits were largely unsuccessful. When I did receive a response, the terms provided were inconsistent and did not align with the initial information.

    3. Conflicting Return Policy: The salesperson informed me that the 30-day period was for adjustment purposes and not a mandatory retention period before returning the mattresses. The new information suggesting a mandatory 30-day retention before return contradicts this and has caused significant inconvenience. The “Mandatory” has never been disclosed to me or displayed anywhere in the store or on the price tag information which is against the Customer Protection Law.

    4. Misrepresentation of Product Benefits: The mattresses have exacerbated my back pain rather than alleviating it, contrary to the claims made by the salesperson.

    It's been 2 weeks now since I have tried to get help with return and canceling my financing agreement, and they keep ignoring my messages and calls are not being answered or returned. Instead they kept telling me that the sales representative who sold the mattresses to me, is gone for the day. "She has a son to take care of", is their excuse and reasoning for not being able to take care of my calls or messages.

    When I purchase my Tempur-Pedic at Mattress Firm. First of all, they sold me an adjustable split base For a nonsplit mattress. I believe this was done so that they could make more money selling 2 separate base units. Then they proceeded to sell me an extended warranty period they Don't even cover the bed portion, as it's covered by mattress firm. They send you to Tempur-pedic. Which btw is a joke. Also my bed sagged when laying on it but unless you can see the sag without anyone on the bed it's not covered. After taking my bed apart to taking10 pictures. They send me back 2 mattress firm because Tempur only cover adjustable bases for 5 years, so you have to go to mattress firm warranty period.

    Finally, get an agent on the phone And they tell me, I have to call back To Tempur-Pedic. To get them all of the part numbers that they need to process the claim. When you pay five hundred dollars for a warranty, the least they can do is send somebody out to do all of the legwork for you instead of me having to do everything for a fifty dollar part.

    Very dishonest and unprofessional sales team. My parents are a little older and recovering from injuries due to a recent accident. We purchased a mattress and adjustable bed but were hesitant that the mattress wouldn’t be a good fit. They assured us repeatedly that if it didn’t work out we would pay a $150 fee and get the rest of our approximately $1200 expense back. Now not a week after delivery their story has changed. We would only get about $500 back. The same polite sales team before we made the purchase now incredibly rude and dismissive. I guess repeat business is not a concern. It’s ok, lesson learned. We’ll make sure we warn others.

Had to go to their warehouse for pick up. 5-10 miles away. At warehouse I was informed that I purchased 1 30”x80”. They did give me my money back. They wasted 2 hrs of my time, and 20 miles of diesel in my truck. Stupid Stupid Stupid. This is the second time I purchased from Mattress Firm and the second time I had to get refund. Shame on them the first time, shame on me for walking in their front door again. Never again!!!

    First off when we purchased our mattress from your company it was not like the commercial at all. You say sleep experts but that is not the case. We slept on our new mattress for 2 days and knew this was not the one. Fast delivery. Not so sure. When we returned the mattress we are having to wait 9 days to get the new one. Paid almost 3500.00 dollars then had to pay another 309.00 to swap it out. We got charged for returning the mattress. The lady ask if we read the back of the paper that stated all fees which they ended up charging me more than what it should have been. They should speak to the customers about that as they are purchasing. It's not the money part. It is the lack of effort on your team's part to well inform your customers as to exactly what is going to happen before they find out in a way that gets customers upset.

    The lady almost made it seem like it was our fault and she didn't know what the back of the paper said because she charged us 149.99 for the restock fee and the paper said 99.99. Her excuse was the dawn gave us the wrong paper. So you see what I'm saying as far as how some maybe not all stores deal with your customers but your Kokomo store sales order number is **. Will never have us through the door again and we will tell everyone we know about our experience. She acted like she didn't care at all. Just get it done. I've spent a lot less than that and had a much better experience. She never got up out of her chair during our visit.

    I had an adjustable bed frame that I bought just over a year ago from Mattress Firm. I selected this bed frame because I have sleep apnea and chronic fatigue syndrome and I was hoping this would help. It helped a lot and was wonderful while it lasted but unfortunately, while I was raising the bed, the metal sides of the frame bent rendering it unusable. I called in to confirm I had a warranty which I did and was told to call the warranty department to get it all settled. I called and spoke with a woman named Annessa **… what a nightmare that conversation was! I had a few questions about the process and how soon I could get a replacement. It takes moving heaven and Earth for me to get a good night sleep and actually be present the next day. A sleepy, irritable teacher doesn’t mix well with young children, this is a big deal for me.

    Every time I tried to ask a question, she would cut me off and tell me all questions had to wait until she got all the information from me. I get some things need more information for an accurate response but I was asking basic questions like “Is it possible to pick up in store rather than having it shipped” that's generally a store policy that should be known by someone in that position. She was so short with me and rude, I felt completely dismissed like I was bothering her or wasting her time. Here I am freaking out, trying not to have a panic attack because my lifeline has been disrupted and this person is treating me like I am a simple burden to get rid of. What happened to customer service?! I get she probably speaks to several people everyday and it’s got to be frustrating but if you can’t handle/don't’ like your job, find something else.

    After the call, I even called back to confirm the claim was submitted but I got her again and of course she said it was. She told me to expect a phone call in two days… well it’s been a month. I’m guessing I was right that she never submitted the claim. I tried emailing her again… I got a response saying call in and talk to someone else. What a joke! Mattress Firm is great but you REALLy need to find someone else to handle your warranty department! You never know what someone else is going through so you should always just be nice! Maybe try some compassion for others!

    My bed has been on the floor for a month now, this is not okay! Do you know how hard that is when you have a sleep apnea machine and the hose is constantly getting twisted all night?? This is not something I use because it’s nice to have, this is something that is medically necessary. Who is she to decide who to help and who to blow off? If you ever have to call the warranty department and happen to get Annessa **, I highly recommend asking to speak with someone else!

    I bought 2 sets of mattress and the warranty says after a certain amount of time allow your body to adjust to the mattress and I did. Mattress was just too hard for me so I called before the 120-day warranty was up and they told me I had to pay a restocking fee and a delivery fee or something of the sort. They do not make it clear about the return policy. Do not shop here, take my advice, go somewhere you can at least exchange or get your money back.

    I would not suggest this company. 3 mattresses in 3 years, their warranty is useless. And delivery and customer service is awful. Nothing but problems every step of the way. Not only do they claim ‘we have amazing 10 yr warranty!’ Only for defects. Not really for mattresses that lose their form in 6 mos! Not to mention the endless delivery issues when you give them the information they would run into. So first time. Can’t get a big truck to my location even though flat beds with forklifts can deliver here. So reschedule. Then they come back. And don’t even bring a smaller truck and driver delivers it no issue. Next mattress 6 mos later. They do a smaller truck but they deliver the wrong mattress and have to come back after moving everything multiple times for them to deliver it!

    Now. 3 mattresses in 2.5 years? First one lasted a year. Got the next one and it lasted 6 mos. Manager said the first one I should have let them know a warranty! So this time it’s even less time, and we do the warranty, denied. Springs digging into our backs and all. They go on about ‘do this and get 15% discount: oh, no that doesn’t work with a sale.' Ok, then don’t offer it if EVERYTHING IS ON SALE! And finally. Their chat says speak to an expert? No, you get a chat bot that will only send you in circles and no help and no agent. And even if you want to check an order, it just tells you what to do, doesn’t do it. So spent about 10k on mattresses and they do not care. Lesson learned. Will never use this company again. If there was a zero star; I would do it.

I was given the end runaround by Mattress Firm and an oily salesperson provided me with expectations that weren't fulfilled.     This has been the worst experience I have had with a company in years. I ordered my mattress, it's delivered on Saturday. They call to tell me they are here with my mattress. I go outside just for them to tell me they have to take it back because it's damaged. They tried to leave without giving ANY information like when would I get a new mattress or any type of info. I told them they need to call someone because I'm not sleeping on the floor because they screwed up. So after a few calls from people telling me they work at the warehouse it's not their problem. I was finally put in contact with a young lady that agreed to send me a "substitute" mattress and reimburse me 20 percent.

    I received the mattress on Labor Day, never received the 20percent reimbursement. My original mattress is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, haven't heard from the company AT ALL. SO I CALLED them to say I'd like to keep the substitute mattress. Needless to say the automated system does transfer you to a live person. It just tells you to go online or chat with a REPRESENTATIVE. Poor customer service Mattress Firm. This 1 star is for the young lady Alesha that did at least get me a substitute mattress.

    If I could give zero stars I definitely would. The warranty website is a joke!!! They have you jumping through hoops to take pictures and then deny your claims because you leave out one pic that isn’t even relevant to the claim. I was sold defective material that sags on the left and right side causing extreme back and hip pain!! I’ve taken numerous pictures but none are to their satisfaction. The mattress is under warranty yet they won’t do anything to resolve this matter!! I’m almost 70 years old. They expect me to lift up my mattress and take pictures of the frame, slats and the legs!! Seriously??? I have 3 slats and was told according to the video on the website that particular mattress needs to be supported by 5 slats.     I recently attempted to use a $300 I received from purchasing a Stearns & Foster mattress to buy a crib, only to be informed that it couldn't be used for furniture, which is their policy. However, when I tried to use the credit for other items along with a promo code, I found the customer service to be quite unhelpful. The online representative repeatedly insisted that the promo code couldn’t be applied without explaining why, despite there being no clear guidelines against it.

    Eventually, I spoke with a representative named Henrietta. Unfortunately, she was also unable to provide any clarity on why the promo code couldn’t be combined with the credit. Instead, she spoke over me and came across as rude, making it feel like she was doing me a favor just by talking to me. She pressured me to use the credit immediately or risk losing it, which felt very forceful and contrary to their own policies. Overall, my experience with customer service was disappointing and left me feeling unheard and frustrated. It seems they are unwilling to listen to their customers or adhere to their stated guidelines.

    Excellent customer service Brad Manager, Patti sales and Zada. Zada assisted me first. She was a new employee. You would have never known this. She answered all my questions without hesitation. Then Brad stepped in since she had moved several mattresses. There was one mattresses I particularly looking at a little more than I wanted to spend. Brad worked with me on that. Zadar made the comment how lucky I was that he was there that Day. Then all three helped with the mattress cover. There's cover protection I believe it was for TEN years!!     Within 30 seconds looking at a mattress I heard a voice behind me ask me if I would like to try it out with him. I turned around and there was a sales associate laying across one of the display mattresses with his hand on his hip and head resting on his other hand looking at me. At that moment another Sales Associate walks up and asks what mattress I was interested in. As I explained I wasn’t 100% decided he told me I was wasting his time unless I was going to purchase one that day. Both unprofessional and inappropriate.     I am on my second mattress with this place, which (of course) means I’m stuck with it. I’ve been sleep deprived and tired since I had this mattress. Pain is my alarm clock each morning and I’m exhausted all day and it’s hard to get anything done. I’m glad everybody made their commission and all but I wish somebody knew what they were talking about. I told about have sciatica, doing static posturing all day and I got this new mattress and now I have shoulder pain. Awesome. Let’s just add a new pain. I won’t be back here.

    I hate that I bought this at the state fair. When explaining the 120-day policy I was told I had NOTHING to lose. That was a lie. They will not refund the base even though this one was set up with a bent leg and not working. The mattress they showed felt 100% softer. The sales rep has given me nothing but a hard time trying to return the bed. I feel so lied to and cheated by this company. I can see the negative reviews and wish I had checked before purchasing.     In Feb. 2023 I went into Mattress Firm looking for a new mattress. I informed the sales person that I was a side sleeper and was suffering from hip arthritis and back trouble. I was directed to the PressureSmart PL Top mattress. I said it was a little too firm and his response was "You have to break it in" and you have 30 day return policy, which is not enough time to test the mattress. I purchased it and 1 year later my hip is worse. I also began suffering from shoulder pain and neck pain. I wake up so stiff and sore that it takes about 30 min. before I can stand straight. I wake up throughout the night in pain.

    I ordered a mattress and an adjustable bed frame from Mattress Firm. The delivery was scheduled for the following week, and I was told that I would be contacted the day before with a delivery window time. Well, I was never contacted, so on my scheduled delivery day, I called customer service only to be informed that both items were out of stock at the warehouse and that they themselves were not aware of that until my call. Then, they proceeded to reschedule a delivery date without confirming it and with a twelve-hour delivery window on a Monday. I am NOT happy with their service period.

    Updated on 08/21/2024: I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Mattress Firm offered me a 40 percent off coupon. I rejected their offer and I am waiting to hear back from them. Do not buy anything from them. They also owe me a credit which they have not given me and it's over 4 months.

    Original Review: I purchased 4 mattresses from Mattress Firm over the past year. Each time the mattress starts to sag after a few weeks. I complained about mattress firm to the Better Business Bureau and am waiting for a response from mattress firm. I will follow up after they respond to my complaint.

    Me and my daughter purchased 2 queen size medium firmness hybrid mattress with free adjustable bases in the beginning of July for $549 plus tax each totaling about $1370. We were moving into a new place 8/1 and wanted new mattresses. We spoke with Gina the sales rep and after a couple days consideration we placed the order. We were told that we could pick the beds up ourselves and another sales associate could help us load the items into my 2023 Toyota RAV4. When we went to pick them up on 8/1 Gina had moved out of state as she advised she would but we were told the beds were too big to fit in my truck and too heavy to go on top, by another sales associate Dillion who was very nice and professional. We paid $150 for delivery and they were delivered the following Saturday 8/3.

    After sleeping on the mattress for 2 days my back was on destroyed. The bed is way too soft and honestly didn't feel so soft in store but I understand there may be some slight variation. Today is 8/5 and I went to Mattress Firm and spoke Joaquin to advise, I was not happy with the mattress and wanted to upgrade to a more firm. I advised I saw a DreamCloud bed on the website that was $150 more but was advised that the bed wasn't that firm and was available online. He showed me another mattress that was $350 more and I agreed on that. He then advised there was a $198 fee to exchange even though there is a 120 day sleep trial. I slept on this bed for 2 nights and my back hurts so much. It's hard to stand straight.

    He then said, "I can waive half of this fee." $99 is restock fee. $99 is redelivery. This is terrible customer service. Of course I would pay the $350 upgrade but the be charged another $198 and to be told this is cheaper than other stores. I'm an extremely dissatisfied customer. He even said if I return the bed I would still be charged $198. I have 4 friend awaiting my review to make their determination on whether they would be buying from MattressFirm and I assure you they will not be doing so! What type of warranty charges another $198?!? Do better MattressFirm. I will never do business with MattressFirm.

    When I went in the store, I told the sales team that I am looking for a firm, twin mattress, that will hold up to a heavy person. I bought a Beautyrest mattress, that I thought was awesome, until, it started breaking down after approximately 6 months. It completely split down the middle, by the end of a year's use. I exchanged it, paying for new shipping fees, to an "upgraded" beautyrest, which seemed to be even better. So here I am now, approximately 1 1/2 yrs later, and mattress completely broken down, AGAIN. This time I get huge springs pushing into me, along with splitting down the middle. Mattress Firm Does Not Live Up To What They Advertise. Will Never Spend My Hard Earned Money There AGAIN.

    I am extremely disappointed with Mattress Firm's service. I ordered four items (mattress, base, sheets, and a mattress cooling cover), and these items were assigned to three separate deliveries, each requiring a 90-mile trip each way. The company must be wealthy to afford such extravagance, but this was a waste of time, energy, and money. To make matters worse, Mattress Firm failed to show up for two of the scheduled deliveries and never notified us of the changes. When I called customer service, they were kind and apologetic, but it turns out the items were out of stock, necessitating rescheduling. After the second or third delivery failure, I finally canceled my order. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I will never do business with Mattress Firm again.

    Purchased a mattress a few years ago under the impression that I had a warranty. A few years later, the mattress started sagging on the side that I sleep on. The sag was deeper than some parts of the Grand Canyon, and the amount of pain it was pushing onto my disks was indescribable. Just imagine a really bad pain, and then make a bit worse. Now, since it was sagging, I figured it would be a good idea to try and, you know, use my warranty. I feel like that's pretty reasonable, considering that in just a few years, the mattress went from Mattress Firm to Mattress Sag. When I tried to use my warranty, they explained to me I had to send pictures of the mattress' current state. When I did, they said, "No, no. You need to print out this random picture of a scale and put in on the bed. Alongside the picture, place a broom on the bed as well. This totally isn't stupid and a waste of everyone's time, we promise." So, I did as they requested.

    I printed out the stupid scale and grabbed a broom. I felt stupid doing this whole process, but I always feel stupid, so it's whatever. When I sent the pictures in, Mattress Firm took their sweet time reviewing them, only to deny me because there were 2 tiny stains that I honestly couldn't even see in the photos. I had to go to my mattress myself, turn the lights on as bright as they could do, turn on my phone's flashlight and wear two pairs of glasses and my contacts to be able to see. How some intern saw them is beyond me. They replied back saying because my mattress was so disgusting, it ruined the structure of the mattress. In my mind, I thought the bigger structural concern was the giant sinkhole forming in my bed, but I should've realized it was actually the tiny stains that were the true cause of the mattress' problems.

    We emailed the CEO, the CFO, the GI-JOE, everybody, and nobody replied. I called customer service and they basically said, "That sucks." So, my warranty never really existed. Don't buy. Their mattress protector didn't protect my mattress. If you have even a microscopic stain on the mattress, they'll ghost you like as fast as a bad boyfriend.

    Consumers, please stay away from all Mattress Firm stores. They do not honor a defect warranty. I submitted all photos that were asked during the registration. They replied it was denied because improper support for the bed. The QUEEN bed came with 3 slats and 3 legs. And they are installed properly. The "warranty manager" told me if I buy 2 more slats for my bed and resubmit the claim it will get approved. That makes zero sense to me. I will never shop at Mattress Firm again.

    I went to get a purple bed that was around 3k But they didn't mention if I don't pay the 3k in 90 days the price would double. So in total, I would have to pay just over 7k just for a bed. So if you went to the store to make payments on about 5k worth of merchandise but don't pay in 90 days it would be about 10k for it. Not worth it!!!

    Hello. My experience with the MFirm store in El Paso Tx was very stressful and horrible. I will not review the quality of their products. For me they are excellent. The store advertise "no credit needed". However, the sales rep run my credit not once but 4 times!!! I told him I don't want the most expensive mattress in the store that he tried to sell. I told him I can afford a regular matress for my son and he insisted in selling the newest model and he tricked me telling me he will not check my credit and ask for my s.s. only if I need to apply for credit. Anyway at the end I got the 3k mattress and got a debt that I wasn't planning to and I feel that I was being pressured by this guy. I'm a 60yr old woman and couldn't understand the process. Yes my fault but they need to let customers choose what they want. I know he was going for the commission and he didn't care about affecting my credit by doing those 4 inquiries.     STAY AWAY FROM THEM, absolutely disgusting, They selling extremely low quality merchandise. Their own brand "Sleepy". I bought a "Sleepy" queen size firm, it said prime quality, and it is sagging after four weeks, They will not take it back. They said the body imprint is normal, NO IT IS NOT, the reason why I bought a new mattress was because my old mattress had the body imprint, after many years, NOT 4 WEEKS. I told them several times, that they are a bunch of Crooks.

    We had to exchange our mattress, and that was the most cumbersome process. We communicated with a few employees, in the Seattle area, and they would provide conflicting information. It appeared that the employees we spoke to was not aware or knowledgeable about the exchange process, giving us the runaround. Also, during the process, each time, we had to be the ones to follow up and call, after we were told that someone would contact us. An employee took the initiative to call us, once, during the process.

    In addition, Ryder, the third party delivery company that Mattress Firm uses, has poor quality control, packaging, and handling. Twice, the delivered mattresses were not wrapped all the way. The mattress we exchanged for was delivered, the first time, however it had dirt marks on the side so we had to refuse it. The second time, the material was unraveling, where we had to refuse that one as well. The third time the mattress was delivered, it was wrapped appropriately and in the expected condition. We will most likely not be purchasing from Mattress Firm moving forward.

    In March of 2022 My wife and I bought an I Series Hybrid 1000 medium mattress queen size from Mattress Firm. 2 years later, the bed sags, and you can feel the coils and they grind and pop. I was told it was under warranty to contact Mattress Firm. Which we did. They had us jump through some hoops. Do some pictures, then wanted a video of where the issues were. It would only allow a 3 second video, we did the best we could then after all that within a couple minutes they denied our claim, I instantly went back and tried to discuss the situation but they closed the claim immediately. Said that was normal, wear for after 2 years for the bed to sag, and you can feel the coils and they grind and pop. The associates at the store itself were fine. It's the Warranty department that is the issue. They don't want to honor their warranty. I have since contacted Better Business Bureau.

    I purchased my new mattress because they brag about a 120 day trial and return if not satisfied. What they don’t tell you is that they want you to wait 30 days to give the Mattress a fair try. I only needed to sleep on it eight nights to know, I would not sleep on it much longer. The manager named Kat with a K acted as if she was doing me a favor because it wasn’t the full 30 days. They are also charging me $98 to inspect the mattress to be returned, as well as another $98 to bring in the new mattress! Mattress Firm, you lost my business.

    Warranty is subjective and they will deny any claim. Sagging on both sides where we sleep .5 an inch and they state this is normal after 1 year. $2300 crap mattress. The store manager will be helpful and just there to move inventory.

    Warranty is a joke! Our mattress has dips in it and is causing us both to have back and hip pain, you can't see from pictures so we paid $80 for someone to come out, because it can be felt! There was a small super light spot (not a stain because it came right out with a wash cloth) and they denied the claim! We have always kept a mattress protector on it! They told us we can contact the protector company but need to do so in 4-5 days after it failed. We had no idea there was this quarter sized light mark! We paid over 3k for this mattress and it's still supposed to be under warranty! This is how they SCAM people! The sales people talked up how great their warranty is and there is nothing to worry about! This should be illegal!

    I ordered a platform frame to try something new. Shouldn't have thrown my box springs away. What I ordered and what I received were 2 different things. The frame sits too low to the floor. Can't really put anything under it. I ordered the higher frame and left a message about it. I kept checking my emails without a response. On top of that the frame I ordered was 1 piece. I don't like trying to keep these frames together with that 4 plastic pieces in the middle. They don't hold it together right. I also asked if I could put a head board on the frame and I was told yes. There are 2 holds in the front of the frame and a hole on the sides I don't know what kind of frame that will fit correctly either way. I'm so irritated with this frame.

    When I checked my answering machine a month or so later they left me a message. I said they aren't going to trade me frame cause I've already used this Frame. The last thing I would like to state is when I checked the box today to leave a review at the proper place I noticed it wasn't even addressed to me. They just dropped the frame and left. I want a different frame. It's only right. Plus there is no markings or abuse to this frame. I hope I can change my review.

    The absolute worst warranty service provided by Mattress Firm. I purchased a Perfect Sleeper & boxspring 2 years ago via online Mattress Firm. Manufacturer did not stand by their product and now a huge dent in both boxspring & mattress. In order to get credit, I had to take pictures of the product and send in to Mattress Firm review board. Mattress Firm agreed to reimburse me BUT, I had to go to a Mattress Firm store only (no website or sales rep). At the store location I had to pay additional $200 for the exact same product or get a lesser quality; plus pay a $99.99 fee for Mattress Firm to pick up old product; plus pay $99.99 restocking fee. A total of $399.98, notwithstanding tax. This is more than what I paid for the original mattress and boxspring 2 years ago. It would be much easier to get total reimbursement and get rid of boxspring and mattress on my own and go buy new one. Stay away from Mattress Firm. A total rip off!

    My boxes, containing my adjustable frames were delivered to me in cardboard boxes, which contained one of the boxes full of maggots. I have pictures to prove. I had a contracting company to come out bc Mattress Firm did not want to acknowledge my problem. After 2 days of taking off from work, and hiring this company to investigate my maggot issues, the only reasonable conclusion came from the boxes that were sat in my living room, when delivered by Mattress Firm. I have tons of photos where the maggots are trapped inside the sealed box with clear tape. It is disgusting and they told me, "It was my fault."

    Also, Steinhoff, who is apparently the owner of Mattress Firm filed bankruptcy in 2023 and because of all the bad issues and problems with this owner...here is what is said...Steinhoff International was well known for an accounting scandal that led to criminal charges against its former CEO, Markus Jooste. In July 2023, shareholders voted to dissolve the company, and on October 13, 2023, Steinhoff International was officially liquidated.

    Mattress Firm and Simmons warranty process is a joke. My back was bothering me because of the sagging so I did everything I was supposed to so I could get the warranty process going. I was told it had to at least have a 1.5 inch sag or they wouldn't honor the warranty. I have a mattress that I paid over $3500 for that sags and causes back pain.

    My mattress is now 7yrs old and it is sagging in the middle of it. I was told that I can file a claim to see if it can be deemed as a factory defect. The mattress sagged almost 2 inches in the center of it. I was told I needed to send in a few pictures showing the entire mattress, frame, slats, etc. which I did. I received a response back saying that it would not be covered under the manufacturer's warranty because there was a coffee stain on the mattress!!! What does a coffee stain have to do with the mattress sagging almost 2 inches in the center of the bed??? This is totally unacceptable and their way of getting away with not holding responsibility for the defect. They didn't even offer some type of compensation. Very bad customer service!!! Mattress Firm is blaming the manufacturer but I'm sure there's something they could have done!!!

    We bought mattresses for our two kids and ourselves...within 6 months both kids mattresses were hollowed out in the center, both kids under 50 lbs too! I called as we had 5 or 10-year warranty, sent pictures numerous times through email, continuously called and got a different person every time telling me to do something else to prove we had a problem. We finally gave up, went to Raymour & Flannigan and purchased all new mattresses. Our king mattress started to sink as well on my side and I'm 130 lbs. Raymour was great, we've had no problems.

    I spent a long time in store trying different mattresses to find the right firmness. The sales people were helpful at that time, but when I slept on the mattress for a few months I had problems with the middle sagging, causing me back/hip pain. I was told the limited warranty would help me return it and get one firmer, but after going through the process of measuring/photographing the sag, I measured it as 1.45” my complaint was dismissed because the warranty they sent me says it had to be greater than 1.5”. I believe if I had measure it as soon as I got up in the morning, instead of taking the time to do the photograph it would have been over 1.5”.

    As a result I have had to live with a mattress I have to change sides to sleep on and get help rotating the mattress every 4 weeks since I can’t do it by myself. It was a disappointing experience and I suggest to family, friends that if they have to buy from Mattress Firm spend the extra money for more than the warranty provided and read it carefully before doing so.

    When delivering and removing the old mattress and box spring. Mattress Firm refused delivery and refused to take the old out because of TWO very dead insects on the box spring. It was their exoskeleton. Long dead. They were insects not bed bugs. They said they would leave stuff downstairs but not set up. Another review said they refused delivery because of a dead spider found. There are other reviews with the same type of experience. Corporation said they would only deliver if I got an exterminator and documentation LMAO. We are in a house. There is going to be at least one bug. ESP under the bed where it’s hard to get to to clean. Get over it. I clean homes and yes I have a policy of no bedbugs or German roaches or mice. But a spider, a couple insects? If I had the same policy as mattress firm, I’d have no clients because I find bugs in every house. I’d be literally leaving every job.

    I cancelled my order. They also took down my old box spring and mattress and refused to put it back because of the “infestation” so me and my parents in their 70s had to do it. The least they could have done was put it back. The number the delivery people called said the delivery people weren’t allowed back in the room. Think twice before doing business with them and if you do you better clean real good under the bed, lift up the box springs and mattress and make there is not one speck of anything. And after you clean you better pray a spider don’t go under there. People have been refused delivery because of cat fur as well under the bed according to another review. There’s nothing wrong with having an infestation policy but this is overkill. Two dead bugs or a dead spider is hardly an infestation. Horrible experience and I’m not satisfied at all.

    I recommend that all of my friends, family, colleagues, and acquaintances avoid doing business with Mattress Firm. Every facet of my experience has been awful; on every level, the business’s performance has been uniformly pathetic. I was sold a product that did not fit by a salesperson who never asked any questions to ensure that I was buying something suitable. The delivery crew damaged my property. I was promised a replacement item that the second delivery crew failed to set up, leaving me on my own to discover that I’d need a new bed to accommodate the items I’d purchased.

    They took away and apparently disposed of my old items without making sure that I was left with what I needed. Personnel who I contacted about these concerns were often unpleasant, finding the whole situation very amusing, and almost never reasonably prompt in addressing my concerns. Based on this experience, my opinion is that #mattressfirm is a shoddy outfit that does not deserve your business.

    We purchased 2 beds via phone to be delivered to our new home. We were moving to Hawaii and needed beds there for our arrival. We worked with Mattress Firm to get basically the same beds we have on the mainland and they were super accommodating. They said if we didn't like what we purchased we had 120 days to exchange.

    When we arrived the beds were there. One bed had dirt and was soiled in several places, the other looked new but was the most painful sleep ever. We contacted our sales manager immediately and he said the store was shutting down that day and he couldn't help us due to zero inventory. We were shocked about the closing and he said he was too. He directed up the Oahu location. We have left several messages, filed a complaint with their corporate office and have been told several times someone will be calling us back within 48 hours. It's been 30 days of silence. These guys supposedly sold us two new beds. They really sold us disgusting floor models. Total bait and switch just to get rid of inventory. Absolutely horrible company from the owner all the way down to the managers.

    Horrible experience with Mattress Firm in Milpitas. I was told over the phone my weight messed up the base leg when the real issue was the leg was not completely tightened. So they fixed the leg then sent me out a new base and had me to pay an additional 250 for another 10 year warranty.     Ordered mattress online on 5/5, confirmed delivery of 5/10. On 5/9 got an email from them saying my address was invalid, they corrected the issue and the mattress is on the way, with a new delivery date of 5/16. The apparent issue with the address was a typed a "n" instead of a "N"...so this was the hold up?!! This mattress was to be a gift, Mattress Firm demolished that opportunity with this nonsense. Also, when attempting to get details in online chat, it's apparently ONLY a robot, then you get a text message response from Mattress Firm to discuss my issue with an online agent!

    Not possible since it's a robot and only tells you to contact them through email, then you get a real person responding to that email, but no one to call directly to speak with, tried it and the recording tells you to go to online chat (with a robot!) Stay away from this business. Absolute inefficiency and chaos!!! Hoping when I finally get the mattress there are no issues with it....will update this review if there is!

    Our in store experience in May's Landing NJ was good... Salesperson (Selena) was pleasant and very helpful. The problems we had were with their delivery. We were told the $100 delivery fee was for a "white glove" service which included removal of the old mattress and box spring and that they would disassemble the old frame for us to do what we pleased with and, of course, they would set up the new frame and mattress. Delivery was on time, but guys seemed surprised that the old mattress wasn't outside waiting for them.

    When they removed it from my bedroom, they flipped it on its side and dragged it across our new-ish wood floors (2 years old) from our bedroom to the front door. It was soft and didn't scratch so I didn't say anything, but then they started to do the same with the boxspring, which I DID hear scraping and asked them to pick it up...which he then did. Next they bring in the new stuff, look at the old frame and asked me, "What are you doing with that?" I told them that I was told they would take it apart for me...again it seemed like this was news to them.

    They had no tools with them and couldn't get it apart so he flips the HEAVY METAL FRAME up on its side on my previously mentioned wood floor (same guy that I told to stop dragging the box spring) and starts banging on the frame to try to get it apart. I told him to STOP before he gouges my floor and could he just take it downstairs if he couldn't get it apart. But PLEASE be careful of the stairlift I had installed for my mom less than 6 months before. So what does he do? Goes down the stairs with the still assembled queen-size metal frame between himself and the lift, hitting the rail 3 times on the way down and damaging the charging strip. THEN he gets stuck at the bottom of the stairs where my ceiling drops and FORCES the frame through the opening, chipping the dropped ceiling and crumbling drywall into the track of the stair lift.

    I called Mattress Firm and they wanted pictures and 3 estimates for the repairs. I could only give them one estimate as the stair lift people are the only ones who service the lift. I asked for the cost of the lift repair ($342) plus a refund of the $100 delivery fee... didn't even ask for anything for my chipped ceiling. They did pay me the cost of the repair only. They absolutely would not refund the delivery fee. (Someone on the phone early on said because I got a good sale price on the mattress). I told them that I could have had a repair person out for estimates on the ceiling damage as well, but I didn't because we felt we could handle that ourselves...so we SAVED them that $, but still a firm "no" from them. BUT, we are happy with the mattress so far (it's only been a little over a month). Hoping we don't have any problems with the mattress down the line as I really don't want to ever have to deal with them again. What a headache.

    Stay away. I opened an account with a $1700 credit limit. Was half way paid off. Never late. Paid extra. They dropped my credit limit by $400 which put a dent in my credit score. I paid it off. They again dropped my limit to only $700. Again put a dent in my credit score. Stay away.

    I bought a mattress from Mattress Firm in 9-21 and now the mattress is failing and breaking down already and paid $3850.00 for it. They will not honor my claim due to a missing tag. I provided them with my sales receipt with my order and customer number even. I sent them pics of how much it's sagging and falling apart and they denied my claim. My suggestion is NEVER buy anything from them and now I can see why their CEO and company only gets 1.5 stars. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, they are horribly managed.

    I made an online purchase with a mattress, box spring, and frame all from Mattress Firm. They all came in separate shipments and the frame arrived last via Fedex. When I tried to get the mattress set up, I was told since the mattress and frame were shipped by a 3rd party, they would not set it up. I think their customer service rep misunderstood me, but I did say I bought all 3 from Mattress Firm. Then I found out that I'm stuck with the bed frame I'm not going to set up myself. So, my mattress setup just included laying the box spring down in the correct room.

    During the month of 7/23 my 90 year old dad bought a $2.400 mattress from store 22 in Florence SC which is already sagging. Dad to store to complain and was told by Lawonda that she was busy and go online and take a photo. When I daughter called, I spoke to Marcus Who Was patient, knowledgeable and professional. He apologized for Lawanda misinformation and Immediately had a new mattress delivered two weeks later. Marcus It's a great asset to the company. He definitely needs a raise.

    Purchased a Stearns & Foster mattress from Mattress Firm less than a year ago. Springs are collapsing on left side of mattress. They are refusing to honor 10 year manufacturing warranty stating that our Stearns & Foster box springs are not appropriate. We are in contact with Sealy who owns S&F now. This mattress was $4500 that is now wasted as we must purchase another mattress. Don’t ever use Mattress Firm. They are refusing to honor their own warranty.

    Do not do business with this company, they do not stand behind their warranty at all. We bought a Beautyrest Beyond Plush Prime king mattress for $5,000 on sale. After just 2 years it is vey dented and sagging. Filed a warranty claim and was told it is normal so no would not honor warranty. Completely insane, don't want to think what it will be like in few more years!! It is junk! Claim process extremely complicated and still not honored. Will never set foot in their stores again. You should not either. Buyer beware!

    2/2024. Working with these people I thought that was so nice was just a scam. I believe they give the impression that they really are concerned about you getting the proper mattress for your rest. I was so happy that someone listened I have two bad knees and was looking for a platform bed, I was told that they had the bed at their warehouse. The lady stated, "Oh we have one that is at our outlet in our Milwaukee location." The Bed was delivered. A couple of weeks went by and the mattress started sinking in on both sides. This experience was terrible. I called and spoke with Nate. He stated that he will work with me to exchange and get another mattress. NEVER HAPPEN. I was told twice that he will call me later before the store closed and see what can be done, also he needed to speak with the lady the sold me the mattress. HE NEVER RETURNED THE CALL. I was stuck with the mattress.

    The next day I finally spoke with the woman that sold me the mattress, she stated that it was previously owned. I asked why she did not state this upon my purchase. The lady stated it says outlet. I asked her what does that mean, because there are many outlets like coach outlet, Nike outlet. Are you saying that you buy shoes clothing that has been previously owned. Lady now you are playing with my intelligence, her was, "That is what our system states." I stated this should have been my choice to choose because I could have went to the thrifty store and got a mattress.

    I understand refurbish, one time owner or, something not telling me it is a outlet. I was told it only costed $2,500. I called to speak with the regional manager (that call was never returned so we are stuck with the mattress. This mattress maybe 6 months old. Well I gave them almost $700). I hope that paid for the mattress. I will not encourage anyone to ever seek them out to get a bed, or a mattresses. Never be aware of when they say outlet it means someone has slept on it and they are selling it as new. What shady store.. We will never, never, never ever return to this store on todd drive area. Name this store scam.

    I visited Mattress Firm in Clinton, Ms. A very polite well-dressed gentleman named Albert ** greeted me to Mattress Firm. I was interested in Stern & Foster or Tempur-pedic mattress. Mr. Albert was informative and knowledgeable concerning the mattress for help with back problems. I purchased the Tempurpedic ProAdapt Medium with frame. It helped me have an excellent night sleep without back pain. The next morning I didn’t want to get out of bed. It was the best night sleep I had in a long time. A few months later I went back to the Clinton store and purchased a Tempurpedic Adapt Medium with frame for my daughter who suffer with back pain. She LOVES her mattress and has helped her have a better night sleep. I would recommend Mattress Firm (Clinton store) to my family and friends. My next mattress will be a Tempur-pedic mattress ProAdapt Soft. My brother had the soft and LOVES it. Our experience was with Mr. Albert in Clinton, Ms.

    Careful when you order online. The descriptions can be confusing so as a result the wrong size frame was ordered and when I attempted to return, I was told there were no returns on furniture. Hard to understand when you can return a mattress if you are unsatisfied.

    Our in-store experience was very smooth? And we ended up purchasing our first Tempur pedic mattress. However, the delivery was a disaster. The mattress was frozen when delivered, so the guys said they could not bring it up the stairs for fear of breaking/ruining the mattress. No plan to come back and bring it upstairs. Then, they put the mattress on its side to soften up, which the person at Mattress Firm said never to do as it will ruin the mattress. I asked them to lay it flat, and they played it out in our playroom right on top of all the stuff on the floor (we had disassembled our old bed frame and laid it out in our playroom). This seemed super odd since wooden pieces were digging into the practice from the bottom. I had to lift the mattress myself to clear the things underneath.

    The last straw was them not taking the old box spring and mattress, which we requested. In fact, we originally didn’t even know this was something so - the person at the store talked to us about it for a bit and we had a whole conversation about how grateful we were that they would take our old box spring and mattress. Not only do we not have our bed set-up, but we also have our old mattress and box springs still here. I would not recommend this company.

    Highly disappointed with the entire experience. The mattress I have purchased (3 weeks ago) has made my back and neck worse. Everyday I wake up in pain. When contacted Mattress Firm and asked to return I am informed that I won’t get much of my money back, the 120 night sleep guarantee isn’t a benefit for customers, it’s a scam and a huge inconvenience. With all the restocking and shipping fees, they still are wanting an additional $500.00 for base. The “free” base is worthless and cheap and not any use to me (ended up buying a box spring) - but mattress firm says - they can't help me, I have to pay full price for the base because it was given to me free. How can you charge someone for something they do not want?

    The mattress is hurting my shoulders, neck and back! I absolutely hate it and now I’m stuck with it because if I return it - I have to pay an extra $500 for the unusable base. Awful customer service as the rep didn’t even want to help me. She told me - I’d only get 268 back for this $1000 mattress. Mattress firm policy is wrong and misleading! They couldn't possibly care about a good night's sleep. Never again.

When my delivery was made they said that was wrong, "We do not set up," I explained that I paid $150.00, they said, "Sorry." and, "Mattress firm should have never charged you that amount."     I bought an extra firm mattress, and it broke down in 2 months. So the saleswoman said a hybrid bed would be better. So they switched out my mattress. The second mattress wasn’t 6 months old and the left side is so low I have to crawl to the middle of the bed. I have repeatedly slipped off the bed since it’s slanted towards the floor. Also, the mattress will not stay on the box springs. I’m older, and not in good health. I have to depend on family to come around to get the mattress straightened out. My back, and legs kill me almost every night. They want me to use some paper scale print it, and take pics of the bed. I cannot do this alone, and I it’s hard to get help.     Robbed! Fell for the $1500 off a $2500 Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress which caused both my Wife & I to have bad back & neck ache so went back to Middletown store to upgrade 75 days in to the "120 day Guarantee". They took our money for an upgrade, and when driver showed 3/26/2024 he said warranty tag was missing. None of the other 3 tags were touched in the 8 weeks we had the mattress, but the warranty tag was cut right off (not torn). Either the original delivery or the 2nd delivery person had to cut the tag to prevent another bad mattress from going back.

    My neighbor bought the same Serta, and returned it within 3 days so they obviously did not want any more of these fake $2500 bad mattresses back. The driver said the 8 week old mattress looked out of shape like a 10 year old mattress. When I went in to complain in person - the Mattress Firm employee who could not speak very clear English told me "too bad - my wife must have cut it off", and then she had no business card for me to call on. BAD mattress, and VERY BAD BUSINESS - do not buy from Mattress Firm if you expect good quality & customer service!

    I shopped at Mattress Firm in Nampa, Idaho. The staff, Michael H., was professional and courteous. He was not intrusive and allowed me time to look at the mattresses as I asked him several questions to ascertain the type of mattress I needed. Michael was knowledgeable and answered my questions. I provided some cash up front but also needed financing for the remaining balance. Progressive Leasing, a lending partner with Mattress Firm, approved me for the remaining balance.

    However, Progressive Leasing is neither transparent or ethical because during the application process, this company does not warn you that their fee charged is more than the total cost of the mattress. I was purchasing a $1,000 mattress, and Progressive Leasing wanted to charge me $1,854 as a fee for the lease. Therefore, I refused to sign the lease with Progressive Leasing but did find another option to purchase the mattress. I recommend Michael H. to help you find the right mattress for you at Mattress Firm but stay away from Progressive Leasing.

    I purchased this product in May 2021 and it feels like we are sleeping in it instead of on it. I contacted Mattress Firm online and was unable to pay and have an inspector come and exam it as this service was not available in my area which is 40 miles from Detroit. I have tried to comply with the request to have it done in a video chat but have tried twice to get this done and have been unable to make contact with them and they won't contact me by telephone as I am 82 years old and can not get the information they want to them or talk with anybody in regards to the problems with the mattress or getting a claim processed. I would never buy anything from them again because of the problems that occurred with the mattress and getting service on it.

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT MATTRESS FIRM. This doesn't even deserve ONE star but it is the lowest allowed. I purchased the Medium Euro Top by Sealy mattress and the signature adjustable base on Black Friday 2023. It was delivered within a few days. The delivery guys quickly dropped them in the living room and left. About 20 seconds after they left I noticed that the mattress had a big cut in the fabric. I called the local store immediately (I could still see the delivery truck on my street!) and they offered me a $100 refund to keep it. Definite NO on that. I requested a new mattress. You could tell that they didn't like that by the tone of voice and I was told it would take several days to get a replacement. I agreed. Never touched the box with the base in it since I had no mattress to put on it.

    When the new mattress came I set it all up only to discover that the base had two tears in the fabric which is VERY CHEAPLY MADE. Fast forward to now. After sleeping on it for just under THREE MONTHS the mattress has already sunken in on one side. The base works ok but not really worth the price though. THE MATTRESS IS COMPLETE JUNK!

    I'm writing this review in order to warn others. I purchased a mattress from them 2 years and 10 months ago. Within 6 weeks of purchasing there were indentations from where I layed in bed. I'm not a heavy person. Within one years the springs came through and poked me. By the second year the springs on the other side went into my box springs and damaged it. This is the most horrible mattress I've ever purchased in my life. Buyer beware.

    I purchased an expensive king size mattress and box spring from Mattress Firm. I contacted them within 120 days about exchanging the box spring for a different one. There is a $99.99 restocking fee AND a $99.99 delivery fee to exchange. A brand new box spring at my local furniture store is $200. Ridiculous policy! I could understand a restocking fee if I was returning the item but the restocking fee is also charged for exchanges. Won't buy from here again and will always read policies in full anywhere I purchase going forward.

    In store was purchase was good. Set up a delivery date for the next weekend. Delivery guys came except my mattress was not on truck. So I called my sales guy and he assured me it would be on the next weekend delivery. Here it is the next weekend.     I hope this review is helpful to the next person thinking to make a purchase from Mattress Firm. We purchased a Simmons Beautyrest Mattress along with a base. After a month of use the pillow top started to move and slide off the top. We contacted the store and were told to file a warranty claim because this item was a no return which was not told to us under now. They do not provide you with a receipt at time of purchase but email it to you once the purchase is made which makes it too late to do anything.

    We filed the claim along with pictures and an immediate email came back saying contact the manufacturer which we have done. Simmons does not seem to like to respond. After 3 months of a horrible bed and a bad experience with mattress firm I can honestly say we should have gone to Sam's Club for a mattress. Mattress Firm customer service service in the store and their 800 number is useless. They are only concerned on how many sales they make and each sales person receives quite a good commission so stretching and hiding the truth is pretty much what they do. Please do your research and have everything in writing prior to making a purchase from this company, hopefully that will give you fighting power if you receive a bed like ours. If I could add pictures you would see the waterful we have with the pillow top falling off. It looks like a 30 year old mattress rather than 3 months.

    First, I cannot believe all the negative reviews posted about this company. While out shopping for a new mattress, my wife and I went to several stores and saw a variety of different brands, makes & models and also met several salespeople. Of all the stores we went into, I must say (and we both agree) that the absolute best experience we had was at the Mattress Firm store on 240 Loudon Road, Concord, NH. The store was very clean, neatly arranged and stocked with several prominent name mattresses.

    We were first greeted by salesperson “**” whose infectious smile, plus his warm and friendly personality, immediately made us feel comfortable talking with him. When we expressed our interest in buying a “high end” mattress to replace the one we had for several years, he focused his attention on that in order to narrow our search down. We found ** to be educated and well-versed in subject material and was able to quickly provide answers to any questions we had. He was extremely patient, helpful and not “pushy”, as we tried out several mattresses and narrowed our search down to two different brands.

    After we decided on the mattress that we wanted, ** worked out an acceptable deal and price. Although it was not our intention to purchase a mattress that day, after our experience at this Mattress Firm store, we felt comfortable that we were getting the “best buy for our buck” and bought a new mattress from them which was delivered 2 days later!

    I cannot emphasize enough how much we appreciated the way we were treated at this store, and especially by sales person **, who actually made our mattress shopping experience enjoyable by making us feel like “family”, that he actually cared, and we were not just another sale. As a result, if you are looking for a new mattress, we would definitely recommend you check out the Mattress Firm store on 240 Loudon Road in Concord, NH.

    We bought our mattress from Mattress Firm over a year ago, we email customer service for the warranty and the warranty department is a joke. They decline our claim because our frame is improper support. How is it improper if this is what you sold us originally. Plus this is the second claim since we bought the frame. This was a 10 year warranty, but we had only over 3 years, I've gone through 2 replacement already. And ALL was absolutely garbage. We will never use them again and I suggest you do your research before you do too.

    I purchased an adjustable bed about 2 years ago, purchased all the necessary warranties. The bed was not installed correctly so Mattress Firm sent an agent out to adjust the bed correctly. The remote wasn’t working correctly and the mattress firm agent said that the user needs to get used to the remote. The user attempted to use the remote but still didn’t work. A friend of the User was going to purchase a bed from mattress firm and asked me how I liked my new adjustable and I told her it never worked from the day I purchased the adjustable bed. My friend said, "You paid over 3K for something you can’t use." I said yes, I called mattress firm several times and they said, "Once that is delivered we have no more responsibility towards the bed. You need to call the warranty folks." This is two or three days after the bed has been delivered….

    So we finally call the warranty folks, they send out a new remote… The new remote doesn’t work even after Re-pairing… Then the warranty folks said it’s the power pack that doesn’t work… Then they send a new power pack that is not compatible with the bed…Then we get disconnected after… This has been such a source of anxiety… I can’t climb under the bed to change out a power pack that they are not even sure is the problem… I spent over 3K for a bed that is a mattress only as I never have been able to use the remote…

    I do have documentation to support the claim that the bed never worked the day it was delivered and set up… I feel like such a fool… I’m out 3K and Mattress firm in Greenwood SC still says, "Can’t help you"… What did I expect? They couldn’t help the day it was delivered only to say, "Keep trying the remote. You will get used to it"….Do not do business with this company… My friend did not buy an adjustable bed from mattress firm either because they were concerned about Mattress firm standing behind what they sell…. Mattress firm's easy answer is even on the day it was delivered until the present day - "Call your warranty company." That’s just not right when you spend that kind of money. Thank you.

    I order a twin mattress off their web site had all info, pictures and good price. When I received the mattress after almost 2 week wait it was the most defected it was to be a adjustable mattress and when you move mattress up there’s a big lump in the middle of mattress, When I called them they sent me pictures of all their adjustable mattress do that same thing yet on the web it does not show that at all, then they wanted to send me another just like it I did not want. Then they offered me a refund but left me with no mattress. I will never do business with this firm again.

    Paid $2,200 for a mattress with a warranty called Pressuresmart Xfirm King PRIME. 2 years in, there's big divots in the mattress where our bottoms lay. I'm 180 lbs my girlfriend is 130 lb. Mattress Firm doesn't handle the warranties at the store anymore, so they sent me online. The people there said I didn't have enough slats for the Box spring. But I have 2x4s cut holding everything up. The box spring is perfectly level. The mattress is shot. Also, on this Epic rules and regulation page she sent, if you cut that “do not remove under penalty of law” tag off your warranty is void. No one tells you this when you buy it. That tag was 12 inches long flapping around every time we change the sheets. There's no way anybody's not going to cut it off.

    Bottom line, no warranty. I just ordered a mattress from Costco king size for a thousand bucks. I have friends that have it and say it's a great mattress. I urge you to look online at Costco before you buy anything from the Mattress Firm. $1,000 and throwing it away in a few years is way better than $2,300. If you DO buy there, get that book on what voids your warranty. Thanks for reading my rant.

    One year and three days ago I bought a very very expensive adjustable base with a $5400 Beautyrest Black -C. They did a Bait and Switch. What we got was the cheap, loud and defective adjustable base and defective mattress. They blamed the third party delivery! They have taken no responsibility. We paid $80 on a third party inspector from Mattress firm but that was a complete waste of money. We spent a total of $6,080. Now we have no usable bed and they do not honor warranty. I would be careful if you plan to buy from Mattress Firm on Coburg Rd in Eugene, Oregon. They have high turnover with sales people and that way no accountability.

    There is a reason Mattress Firm has so many low reviews on Google. Disrespect and unreasonable from the Mankato MN store to their “warranty” company. Based on reviews, others have had the same issues. I encourage you to purchase elsewhere!

    I bought a mattress there. First of all they're not cheap. They give you $120 day guarantee right off the bat. I used it because some of the threads were coming off the mattress. Now after the 120 days it's been give me problems from day one being too hard for my back and it's been bunching up on my adjustable bed. They said that was normal in the beginning but it hasn't stopped. It's the worst bed I've ever had for the most money. I'm a senior and I need a good bed. I would never buy anything from there again.
