    A change between Sleepy's and Mattress Firm. Totally understandable that there can be confusion, which in my case 2 delivery dates did not occur. I cancelled 2 headboards since I did not want to waste time. First deliver was Jan 14 now to Jan 26 now to Feb 1. I called the firm located in East Hanover and unfortunately the person Donald who originally helped us was off. I explained to a fellow name Fadi ** who was exceptionally rude. Explaining to him what happened, overlapping what I had to express, and lastly blaming that this is Sleepy’s issue, not Mattress Firm. It’s not the customer’s fault that the order was placed on a Friday and the transition to Mattress Firm was on a Monday? Maybe this individual might benefit in learning how to be listen towards customer’s complaints and concerns and not passing the buck and blaming game to another company, which is Sleepy's.

    I purchased a mattress 11 months ago and it is defective. I called the company's customer service getting their automated phone system. It stated that if I wanted a home test kit I need to pay $25; and if I want a rep to be sent out they charge $39.95. You should stand by your product and replace it without being charged for a test kit and/or a representative to come to one's home. Your company stinks and I would not recommend you to anyone.

    I felt like I don't want to spend a fortune on a mattress like we had done in the past. Plus, since the last time we bought a mattress, they've changed so much with all this foam that has come out now. So we decided to go with not the top lines, but the Mattress Firm line. We liked the first purchase so much, we went back and bought a second one. Also, the sales representative was very nice and knowledgeable. If I need another mattress, I would go back and buy from them. I would also recommend other people to do that too. Mattress Firm is excellent.

    We have a secondary bedroom and we're looking for an inexpensive mattress. We happened to find Mattress Firm in some sort of a Black Friday sale and got the box spring and the mattress. The delivery actually came twice because I had a problem with the box spring. My wife didn't have a very positive experience the first time, more because of the people themselves. And so, when they had to come back just to switch the box spring, she had said, "There's no way that I'm gonna be here when they get here." She just said that one guy was completely sick. You could tell because he was coughing and hacking. "It was just an awkward experience", she said. She would probably give Mattress Firm a much lower rating.

    But the experience I had when they came for the switch was fine. It was a different set of people. It was the exchange process that was more of a nightmare. I believe there was some sort of transition between Sleepy's and Mattress Firm going on. It just seems like every time I call, I always get a different answer. No one could forward me to the right person. That was a frustrating part but after about 12 phone calls, they were able to resolve it. I've actually asked to speak to the manager. He was great, very knowledgeable, very helpful. I was able to work with someone who was ultimately able to help.

    Had a good experience at the store, and the mattress is what wanted, more or less -- a name brand at a decent price. (I am skeptical of the whole business -- all the different brands and their claims are difficult to compare and the whole thing seems like a scam.) I told them "Any day but Monday" and got a robo-call "We'll deliver Monday 3 to 5." Anyway, the delivery was an hour and a half late, even though their window was 2 hours. The hard-working delivery guys said it was their 16th delivery that day. (So basically, Mattress Firm are slave drivers and their philosophy on delivery is like the cable company re. installs, i.e. "** you.")

    We bought from Mattress Firm before and we were satisfied with the service that's why we went back. It's the fifth mattress for the house we purchased through them and got two beds, one for my daughter and one for us. The process was very easy. My wife went in, picked out the one she liked then my daughter went to pick the one they liked, then went in and sat with the gentleman and it's delivered the next day. The delivery team was here at a weird time and didn't come 'til 6:30 at night and on a Sunday night. They went in and out in half hour, took all the mess with them and set everything up perfectly.

    We had purchased from Mattress Firm in Bradenton and we recently purchased from them here in Port Charlotte in December. The mattress was for my mom at an assisted living facility. The sales guy was great but the delivery team never set the bed up and I wasn’t happy about that. They just dropped it off in the room and left it there. I called the guy at the store and he said that if nobody was there, they wouldn't set it up because they won't know where to put it. But it was obvious where it could go as it's only a little studio apartment. And it already had furniture in it so it wasn’t like they couldn’t figure it out. But everything else is good. The mattress is great and my mom likes it.

    Purchased a mattress 12 months ago, a California King. The stitching has come loose on the top and I am no longer able to sleep on one side of the bed due to rolling off. Contacted warranty office and was informed if it does not visibly sag 1.5 inches then it is not covered. Apparently what's inside the mattress is not covered? I cannot sit on the edge of my bed or sleep on that side, this is ridiculous for a year old bed. I had my previous mattress over 8 years and it didn't have these problems. I was going to purchase a nicer bed at Mattress Firm with any credit I received, assuming this was truly just an isolated incident but after reading other reviews. If Mattress Firm does not stand by their products and warranties then it is not worth it.

    I purchased a bed from Sleepy's back in October 2015 and I have had to return the mattress 3 times already. The first time I had to pay a destruction fee of 150.00 because the bed was too firm but it was with the 120 days. Got the new mattress and they sent me a bed that I swear that bed was slept on because one side sunk. So the next day they sent out a new one. Had an inspector out in August of 2016 and they he said my mattress and box spring needed to be replace because I was having back issues again, the box spring was squeaking and said that it should of been doing that. Got that replace, but again my back is hurting and I realized that my box spring is cracked in 2 places. Why give me another cheap box spring.

    I called this morning and now I have to pay 40.00 for someone to come out, this just insane. My box spring should be replace and when I went to the store for the last mattress I asked the salesman for a different box spring but he said I had to have the same one. Why are they giving out cheap box springs? Please help. My back is killing me again!!!! I should not have to wait a couple of months to have this replaced in which happened to me and I had to pay an extra 104.35 for a better mattress so in total I had to take a loss of 258.35 and now I have to pay 40.00 to have someone come to inspect my mattress. This is crazy.

    I bought a mattress because my husband said our previous mattress was too soft and he's got a herniated disc. I wanted to surprise him and bought a mattress at Mattress Firm on Federal Highway, but it was a bigger surprise for me than it was for him. I didn't have bedbugs before and two weeks later, I wound up with bedbugs. It was Thanksgiving Day and my grandchildren were sleeping in my bed and I moved the cover and there was one of those black bugs. So I bought another mattress but it wound up having bedbugs because of the box spring. So, I had to wind up buying another mattress from Mattress Firm Boca Raton, which is perfect, and a box spring.

    The reps at Mattress Firm said that they would give me a discount on another mattress. So, I was stuck throwing the mattress away. It was a waste of money and cost me twice as much. But I already bought that other mattress. I would have liked it if they gave me half my money that I paid for. I had to sleep on the floor, in my living room, and I threw all of my bedding and pillows out. I had my carpet cleaned and I bought a super strong vacuum to get rid of all the bugs. It's been two months of on my hands and knees. Today is the first day that I woke up in the morning and didn't see any bugs and got no bites.

    I've purchased three different beds all at once from Mattress Firm. I got a king-sized Tempur-Pedic Cool Breeze, a full-sized Easy Rest, and a queen-sized Sealy memory foam type bed. The sales rep was very informative and knew exactly what my needs were. She was also very knowledgeable and a very polite person all the way around. And the delivery was pretty good.     There was one particular mattress I wanted and the store was near my house. It was Mattress King then. It was really expensive and I couldn’t afford it. The guys would let me go there every week just to sit on it. I did it for like a few months until it was on sale. They gave me a little extra discount and I was able to then afford the mattress, and I had it forever. Everybody loved that mattress. My first kid would come jump on that. I tried to look for it again once it was time for it to be replaced, but they stopped making it. Then I found out at that point they were not even Mattress King anymore, they were Mattress Firm. So since then every bed in my house for the past year and a half, I bought from Mattress Firm.

    One time I made a complaint to corporate about two women's unprofessionalism in one particular store. Then there’s one brand of mattresses I would never buy from them, but I'm glad that they have the 90-day warranty process because I was able to switch out to a different brand. So it worked out well because I love my new mattress. Now I'm waiting for them to drop the prices on the beds that can fold up because I take care of my dad, and those do get kind of pricey. And I haven’t been to any other mattress stores in the last 10+ years.

    I went up to Mattress Firm to get a bed and I ended up getting a Tempur-Pedic bed with an adjustable frame. The sales rep told me that I have 120 days to bring the bed back. Before I even signed the papers, I asked her, “The entire bed?” I made a hand gesture in a big circle meaning the entire bed and I did that three times and she said,”Yes, the entire bed.”

    Come to find out I’m one of a small percentage of human beings that cannot sleep on a Tempur-Pedic mattress. I couldn’t make five minutes on there. They said, “We really would like you to try it for 30 days.” I said, “Yes, but you have to be able to lie on it that long.” It took me three weeks to get over the pain that that bed did to me in a short period of time. When I told them I would just bring the bed back and get a new bed, that’s when I found out that I could not bring the frame back.

    This is the most expensive venture because I’m paying for an over $2,000 frame I’ve never touched and will never use but they’d take a mattress back that my body had lay on and they didn’t have a problem with that. The mattress is good and I love it, but I don’t use the adjustable parts and the mattress itself was $1,000. So I feel this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I’m upset about it because the sales rep had no communication. She did not, at any time, explain to me in that transaction that I could not bring that frame back, not once. And I don’t think that’s fair.

    She’s like, “Well, you can sell it.” She was just uber pushy and I know they’re salesmen and they have to do certain things and I get that part. But nobody’s gonna pay $2,500 for it. Now the gentleman who took over after this happened did an excellent job with trading out the mattress for a good price. He did what he could, but he could only do so much. I told him I won’t have anything to do with the previous sales lady. I even went over to sign the papers for my new bed at a different store because I was so livid.

    They need to spell out clearly that the frame and the bed are two separate things when they’re looking at the price, ‘cause you're already looking at $3,500, thinking, 'that’s outrageous.' Then you find out that’s only one piece of it. But if that is the number one thing that they informed the customer, that they cannot bring back, then that would have made all the difference. I would not have gotten that frame. And when they took the mattress back and took it off, my payments didn’t change at all. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I’m watching it because the money’s very important to me.

    We purchased our Serta iComfort mattress less than 4 years ago. The mattress carries a 10-year non-pro-rated warranty. The mattress began to sink on both sides, and you could literally "roll downhill" from the center point of the mattress. It was sinking so much, that we are both in pain every morning from sleeping on the sinking bed. So I called Mattress Firm and filed a warranty claim. I paid the money to have an inspector come out and inspect it. The inspector came out and inspected the mattress. Several times during the inspection he said "I don't know much about these foam mattresses". Why would you send out an inspector that knows nothing about my mattress? He made his inspection, and when he placed a level (that we provided because he didn't have one) on the bed, there was a clear 1-inch slope in the mattress.

    We kept telling him that when you sit or lay on the bed, it just sinks. He just said, they won't let us sit on them. So, you don't know about my bed and you can't sit on it to truly inspect the sinking factor? This gave me an uneasy feeling that the inspection would not be correct. Just now I called Mattress Firm to find out the status of my claim. The representative on the phone told me that even though she couldn't see the pictures, the 1-inch slope was considered within normal limits.

    How is a 1inch sloping, sinking bed within normal limits. I bought this bed because of the "support" factor. Also, how can you make a determination if you can't see the pictures? All she could say was "I'm sorry, but I can't see the pictures, but what I read says it's in normal limits." Great! So I have a $2000+ mattress that is providing both my husband and myself pain, it slopes and sinks, but apparently, that's within "normal limits". If Mattress Firm isn't going to stand behind their product, I will NEVER buy from here again!

    3 years ago purchased a Sealy Mattress from Mattress Firm. Everything was wonderful. Fast forward 3 years later, mattress is sagging down to the box spring almost. Go to store where I purchased, told to go online to Mattressfirm.com, they tell me to call up a # of MF. Can't help me, it's Sealy's responsibility, call Sealy up. Guess what they tell me? "Call Mattress Firm up." Going back and forth nobody wants to at the very least inspect my $1600 mattress that's an absolute piece of crap. So as of right now, still no assistance, no sympathy, no nothing. It's all about Mattress Firm giving you a bunch of nonsense when you purchasing the mattress then once you purchase, it's see you later alligator on to the next customer. Good luck if you intend to do any business with this company. As for me, my family and friends we stay as far away from them as possible.

    I stopped in a Mattress Firm store and they convinced me to get one. A sales rep came up to me and I told him what I was looking for. I said I wasn’t too sure and he showed me all the beds. He was on top of everything and answered correctly any question I had. I tried all the beds and found the one that I liked. I would have liked the king, but I can only afford the one that I have and I already got used to it. I bought the cover for the bed and putting it on that little vibrator thing rocks me to bed.     I have a bad back so my wife and I buy mattresses every couple of years. When two years was up, everything about our old Tempur-Pedic mattress and box spring was hurting me too bad and we got rid of it. I told my wife about Mattress Firm and we went to their newly built store up in Nashville West which was about two minutes away from our house. We got a mattress that's firm and it has a quilt on the very top of it. The salesman was really informative and we also got the manager of the store. The delivery of our purchase was nice too.     I liked the quality of Mattress Firm's products. So when they had a promotion going on, I decided to get a mattress and a box spring from them. The sales rep I spoke with went over all my options, the different comfort levels, and the features of each model. He was perfect. But I had some issues with the items that were delivered. Actually, they stayed in my loft while I was getting the room ready. But when I took out the wrapping, there were two noticeable spots on the corners where it was discolored and it looked like dirt. It was in the plastic and was completely covered. I checked the plastic and there were no tears or no rips. So I don't know if it was something that had to do with their manufacturing process, but it was definitely noticeable. I was so angry but I didn't contact them about it because I recognize that if I'm that angry, I really don't need to bring anybody else in.

    I purchased my king size mattress set from Mattress Firm two years ago and I was pleased with the customer service. Even though I went to a different location this time, I decided to go back to them again. Last time, I purchased two queen mattress sets and a full mattress set for my daughter and my grandson. The sales rep fixed the little issue that I had and he was really nice. My daughter said using her mattress was the best sleep she’s had. My son said it was hard at first, but since he’s been on it for almost a month now, he says it’s better. I’ve already told three of my friends about Mattress Firm and two of them have already purchased while the other one’s supposed to be purchasing at the end of this month. If I have to come back and get a mattress set again, I will come to Mattress Firm.

    I purchased a king size Mattress two years ago and now its begun to sink in. I had it inspected by Sleepy's and the inspector agreed that the mattress had sinking issues but not enough to exchange the mattress. That was in 2016. When I purchased the mattress it was agreed that all inspections are always free on a yearly basis. Now that they changed their name AGAIN to Mattress Firm they changed their policy without the customers knowledge. If you the customer needs an inspection you have to Pay $40 for the inspection from now on even with your warranty!!! I paid for the warranty and now they want me to pay for the inspections too. When I purchased the mattress it had to be exchange multiple times because it was defective and the delivery men of sleepy's told me I shouldn't purchase from them because they rebuild defective mattress!!! Buyers beware!

    I moved to Florida about 6 years ago and I have been to Mattress Firm for my bedding needs ever since. About 4 years ago I purchased a very expensive Foam mattress that was sold to me with a 20 year warranty! Great. I thought I have peace of mind that I won't need to worry about this for some time. In the past year we started noticing a sagging in the middle of the mattress so I requested they come and inspect it. I met with the inspector and he was very professional. He looked at the mattress, took his pictures, looked at our frame, and said "everything looks in order you look to have a legitimate issue"... To our surprise we received a letter today that they could not honor the warranty because of the bed frame.

    We are using a standard king size bed frame nothing special and there was nothing special about the mattress. What a scam! They try and sell you on how their products have these great warranties, then give you some BS story to get out of honoring it. I will NEVER buy another product from Mattress Firm and will make sure I tell everyone I know the same.

    A Mattress Firm store was close to my home and I bought a Hampton and Rhodes mattress from them. I liked walking into the store because I liked all the sales representatives that were there. They were all welcoming and were energetic. They showed me many different options. They knew exactly what I needed. The checkout was convenient, too. I liked that mattress and it met my expectation, but after one year of using it, the mattress started sagging. Mattress Firm gave me store credit and I had to go get another mattress during Christmastime. So far, I like my new mattress and it’s been working fine.     I purchased a bed a few weeks ago from Mattress Firm on Harmony in Fort Collins. While I'm pleased with the bed itself, the sales practices leave a lot to be desired. We went into the store the day before our purchase to look at their various, advertised offerings. Everywhere in the store were signs that said, "Buy a mattress set and get a free mattress cover and pillow."

    We were about to leave without having decided yet, and the salesperson took me aside and showed me a slip of paper with a discounted price on it. He said that it hadn't been busy that day, and he was making me a special offer. He said the offer was good for one more day. The next morning we called back to order the set. Nothing was said about the free mattress cover and pillow, either when the offer was extended or when we made our purchase. But when the bed arrived, it was without those items.

    I called the store and spoke to the salesperson. He said that the price he gave me was for the set without the "free" items. I'm sorry, but this feels like the classic bait-and-switch. I believe the salesperson had a responsibility to identify that the offer he made excluded the free items offer which was so extensively displayed & marketed within the store. After having spent thousands of dollars, I feel we were ripped off.

    I placed an order on Dec 10th inside the store and requested to be delivered on the 31st. I paid in full with a check amount over $3,000. Mattress Firm had deposited the check on Dec 12th. I didn't received any calls confirming about the delivery the night before. When I called on Dec 30th to check on the status of the delivery, the salesperson told me to wait for the call. No one had called me.

    I stayed home all day to wait for the delivery on Dec 31st, no one delivered my order. I called the local store and one salesperson said she have to reorder my orders because the system issues. Shouldn't they checked my order the day before my scheduled delivery date. So she helped me scheduled the delivery for the following week Jan. 7th, the delivery guy drove passed my house and didn't deliver my orders because of the weather (snowing). Then they rescheduled again for the following weekend Jan. 14th.

    I've received a call from the salesperson, he told me that the delivery guy accidentally broke one of the leg of the bed frame and the delivery guy decided not to make the delivery. Shouldn't they call and let me decide??? I'd even took a day off from work to wait for the delivery. I went the the store and cancelled my order. I want a FULL REFUND. This is the worse customer service I've ever encountered. Now, I'll wait and see how long it takes them to refund my money back.

    This is regarding warranty refund support claim # ** which we have store-in received credit of $369.53 on December 24, 2016. We have got store credit for replacement of mattress. We made 2 attempts to get new mattress in replacement of our old defective mattress. 1st attempt # 12/31/2016, order # **. 2nd attempt # 1/6/2017, order # **. On Each delivery attempt, delivery team failed to delivery new mattress & left without giving any response. After speaking over phone from their delivery team which is from Robbinsville mattress center Mr. Jason told us that our mattress has stains which they cannot replace with new one.

    With said, I am attaching pics of mattress from each angle/corner which clearly show mattress does not have any stains as mentioned by delivery team. Mr Jason (from delivery team) told us there are yellow stains on mattress. We do not agree on yellow stains. I accept there are signs of use of mattress on corners which are genuine as it happens over the time of use (3 years of use) while shifting mattress/changing sheets/moving. It cannot be as white as it was at the time of purchase. Please explain. Should we have to use gloves to touch our mattress?? While changing sheets, mattress protector, even if you have used mattress there will be sign of use. You cannot call them stains. After calling different departments we were not getting any positive/supportive feedback.

    This is really unsupportive /unprofessional behavior of team which they presented to us. We do not see any kind of customer satisfaction from mattress firm Robbinsville delivery team. There was mattress inspection by warranty support team/auditor/inspector, in which they have inspected mattress from each point (they took pictures for everything. They didn’t find any stains on mattress.

    Based on their final decision we have received store-in-credit amount, if they would have found stains or something like this, we should not get any store-in-credit. It should have void our warranty, but it didn’t happen like this. They found product is defective that’s why we have store-in credit as result is warranty. In short Mattress Firm delivery team is avoiding/ignoring actual issue of mattress of product quality as mattress coils are coming out (please see attached pics). We are really facing issue while sleeping on mattress as coils are pinching us every time we use mattress. We tried to resolve matter with Mattress Firm warranty support/customer support, called many times, sent email to their warranty/customer support but we didn't get positive & supportive response from them.

    It was a good buying experience for me for the first time with Mattress Firm. I went in the store, saw the mattress, really liked it, and bought it. The sales rep was good but I didn't like the delivery. Whoever came and did my delivery were in the front and I told the lady to go through the back. They said that they were waiting for me for 10 minutes and they left. So, I didn't get my mattress when I was supposed to, but everything else was good. I got a full bed and it's nice.

    We ordered a PLUSH mattress from Mattress Firm in April. Our mattress was always hard which made us think that it needed to break it in. 8 months later it is still extremely Firm, I have been having back issues and unable to sleep in my own bed that I paid almost $1,200.00 for. We went to the store we bought it from and discovered we had been delivered a FIRM mattress, not PLUSH like ordered. After countless trips to the store, telephone calls, emails, and instant chats with Mattress Firm; they will not replace it. We are not asking for a refund, just simply the plush bed we ordered and paid for. It is not our fault that we received the completely wrong mattress. This is my 3rd mattress from Mattress Firm and I will not be ordering again. This company's customer service team is a joke. They keep saying there's nothing I can do, or they refer me to an alternative place (call center refers me to the store; store refers me to the call center).

    Mattress Firm was close to my house and they had a 0% interest for 90 days offer so I went and purchased a mattress and a couple of pillows. Their sales rep was very nice. However, they need to explain to people how the 90-day same as cash works because I got hit with almost a $400 payment. I almost had a heart attack when they took $365 off of my account for a mattress payment - that's a car payment!

    The financing was set up with Progressive but it's not a good deal because I should not have made a payment for 90 days. What happens is they take what people paid for the bed, and then they add on all the interest to it and then figures out the payment. I paid $1800 for this bed. If I was to pay this off in a year, I'd be paying them almost $5000 for an $1800 bed. Mattress Firm needs to explain it better because when people think 90-day same as cash, that's what they think. I went in and the sales rep resolved my problem for me. I would not recommend Mattress Firm as far as doing the 0% financing because it was not handled properly. It's not Mattress Firm but the people they're using. They need to switch who they're using but I would not go back and buy another mattress from them.

    There's not a whole lot of affordable furniture places in Colorado Springs. I went to American Furniture and they wouldn't budge on the prices, but Mattress Firm happened to have a huge sale going on and they got me what I wanted for the price that I wanted.     I had bought a queen size Adele, Stearns & Foster from Mattress Firm - at about the 4 year mark in its use, one side of the bed began to collapse, bowing out about 1 and 1/2 inches. The result is that if one lies on the bed on that edge, the side collapses and forces you to move away from the side to gain support again. The opposite side of the bed does not do the same, but has had equal use.

    I inquired and was sent a warranty kit for about $25. The kit did not let me measure the flaw as it was looking for depressions on the top of the mattress. I sent in pictures and explanations about the nature of the problem. I received a letter telling me "The inspection report revealed the measurements met the manufacturer's standards and are considered normal body impression(s)."

    Very disappointed to have such a response. Both sides of this bed get the same use and this has to be a factory flaw. No recourse suggested. Not helpful or responsive except to say, "I'm sorry." Poor response. Would not recommend to anyone to put out the amount of money that Mattress Firm charges with such customer warranty service. Badly done, folks. Badly done!

    I've purchased things through Mattress Firm for a long time and recently we purchased a bed frame and a pillow. I had good interactions with the sales rep. The one thing was that the warehouse said that there was a bed frame available right away and we would get it the next day, but they actually didn't have it and it took 10 days to get it. That was inconvenient because we needed it sooner. The salespeople went by what the computer said so I wasn't upset with them and it was more of a warehouse issue.

    Mattress Firm carried the mattresses that I was preliminarily interested in from internet searching. The sales rep was helpful and gave us the time we needed to investigate. However, delivery was a pain. We were supposed to get calls to set up a time window, but we didn’t. We got a call 10 minutes before the delivery people were going to arrive. They arrived and declared that we had bedbugs and refused to deliver the mattresses. We were forced to get an exterminator to come out and state that we didn’t have bedbugs, and then had to set up another delivery. During that delivery event, one of the box springs was damaged so we had to deal with setting up a third delivery event. The scheduling for each of those was a pain in the neck. So far the mattresses we purchased have continued to be what we’ve hoped they would be.

    I financed mattresses from Mattress firm on 12/30 and my 1st payment is due in 1/13 and my mattresses were scheduled for delivery 1/05. On Thursday morning about 8am I called customer service to advise my phone number listed for delivery was incorrect and needed to change. "Oh ma'am no need to change because the driver is still has to come. You are already on the truck and scheduled for 3-5pm" so I called the store because is still felt uncertain. The salesman said "I see your delivery is scheduled for today" and I summarized AGAIn the phone number issue. He said not to worry. I called yet another store because I was supposed to be stop "7" and they were at stop "9". They called the warehouse and the called my salesman. Still no delivery. I left for my honeymoon in 1/6 and had someone to sit for a rescheduled delivery TODAY. Guess what, it was never put in and is not in the truck. This is my first and last time ever ordering.

    We purchased our mattress at the end of September 2013 and it was over $2500. At the beginning of 2016 we noticed that our mattress had parts where we couldn't even sleep on. We contacted them by mail and by fax since we have a 10 years warranty on it. They never got back to us. In September 2016 I contacted them by phone and a lady said "no one ever got back to you regarding this?" We had to pay almost $40 to have an inspector come to us and check out the mattress. The answer that I got back to them was that the mattress is only 1 inch and a little bit dropped and that is not a manufacturer defect.

    We cannot even sleep on one side of the bed and they said it's not a manufacturer defect. Considering the fact that the brand of the mattress that we got they do not make the king size no more because it was a bad one from the beginning and they took it off of market I am sure ours has the same problem. The employee there said that I can make another complaint in 6 months. It is ridiculous to spend over $2500 for a mattress that is bad in less than 3 years. I sure hope someone will get back to me and fix this in a way because it is really frustrating... so much for a "good night sleep".

However, beyond my sales representative's interaction - this experience was a tragedy from the moment payment was made, and in fact at this very moment (7:55pm 1/7/17) the nightmare still has no clear sign of ending. But I'll start from the beginning:

    On 12/30/16 I made my purchase, a very simple order: Queen Pillow top Mattress, standard split box spring. Delivery date was scheduled for 1/2/16 between 8 & 2 and I'm told I will receive a call the night before confirming delivery. When I never received the call, I had a feeling things were going to end badly, but I had no idea they would end this badly! I began making phone calls on 1/2/16, and that continued until 1/3/16. My sales rep was on vacation beginning the start of the year, so contacting her was not possible.

    Calling corporate, I realized after 7 hours or so of attempt after attempt to navigate through their nested IVR (interactive voice response) - that this is by design. They loop callers to prevent them from reaching customer service at all, in fact I was only ever able to speak to a real human in the warranty department, who listened and made attempts to assist by sending notifications to various departments, all of which went unanswered.

    I called four separate local stores in an attempt to get any information at all, all four were former Sleepy's who had just been purchased by Mattress Firm, and as one gentleman eloquently put it: "We have no more of an idea how to go about resolving this than you do..." Not what I wanted to hear of course. I was out of options, and trying to investigate any other avenue to make contact and considering filing a dispute with my bank, but before I did so I decided to take a crack at social media. Around 1:00pm 1/3, I made a post to their Facebook page, received a response via Facebook two hours later, and then a phone call from a representative who was very apologetic and sounded as if she would handle this. That was not the case.

    Promises made by that representative disappeared, and no movement was made on this. I again (now 1/5/16) posted on Facebook, and was assured a second call that never came. Once again on 1/6/17 I posted, once again I was assured. Honestly, reviewing those posts now I'm almost positive that was a social automation bot of some sort, and not actually an individual. At this point my rep returns from vacation to this development, and contacts me immediately. I can't say enough for her assistance, as it seems she was the only one able to do anything at all about it. Finally, we got my delivery scheduled for today. And the story has not nearly concluded at this point.

    My drivers showed up in a rented Enterprise truck, and a personal motor vehicle. These were not Mattress Firm employees, I'm pretty sure. They delivered my mattress, and of course unlike what I was told - they did not even take the old mattress and box spring. They had a full truck, and in their defense it has been snowing all day. But these two gentlemen didn't appear to be the brightest in the bunch, turns out I was right. I'm fairly certain these two gentlemen were hired in a more "informal" fashion, but I'll leave the speculation out of this review.

    Now, I live down a private drive that consists of crush and run, excellent traction even in the snow. (Gravel) It's approx a quarter mile from the street, and my driveway is off of that private driveway. It continues passed my home to the gas main, which sits on a flat acre of land with natural gas well off to one side, with plenty of room for a large truck to turn around. I walked the gentlemen down to their truck, and explained the topography of the area. (Railroads, creeks, small hills that would be treacherous for a truck of this size.) I provided two options: Go over the railroad tracks and utilize the wide open field, much like the large service vehicles that maintain the gas lines do, or Back straight out. Well, they chose a stranger route.

    Noticing a very small patch of flat surface just before reaching the railroad tracks, they attempted to use that to turn around and decided to ignore my instructions on the safest method to return to the primary road. I stepped inside to grab my coat, and upon walking back outside I noticed the driver beginning to head for an area I know has a small but sharp decline where the road mounds to meet the tracks, and took off in a sprint shouting in attempts to prevent what was about to happen, but the driver was paying attention to his spotter, and by the time he made eye contact with me it was too late, the truck caught the edge and slid rapidly down the incline, coming to a sharp halt as the lift gate assembly caught the edge of the road, leaving the tires a mere inch off of the ground making any attempt at using the drive line now impossible.

    Frustrated by the pure idiocy displayed here (and the driver making an attempt to blame his spotter. Fact is they chose to come up with an option 3, it does not exist. The driver should have followed my instructions). I then decided against my better judgement to see if I could help. My Explorer does well on my property, even in the snow, but unfortunately physics simply didn't allow for the smaller Explorer to budge a fully loaded 30 ft. truck to budge a single inch. At that point I advised them to contact whomever they needed to procure a wrecker. I left the house around 3:30pm today for a family engagement, and upon my return at 8:00pm I was shocked to see the truck still here with no wrecker in sight. The time is now 8:53pm and a wrecker arrived approximately twenty minutes ago, and they're nowhere near recovering the vehicle yet. It's a sticky situation.

    At this point the waived fees I was promised due to the original scheduling issue are still present on my invoice, the mattress and box spring "haul away" I also paid for was not on their instruction sheet so now I will have to handle that myself (certainly not trusting Mattress Firm to do ANYTHING at this point). But I also burned two PTO days waiting for a delivery that never came and attempting to track that down, and once they finally manage to get the truck recovered we'll see if this is even close to over yet. Significant damage was done to the road's foundation near the railroad tracks and was clearly disturbed, and we have contacted them to inform them of the damage to prevent any further accidents from occurring. However, with the moist land, snow, and proximity to the railroad there is likely considerable damage to the road, surrounding wildlife, and likely the tracks themselves.

    Thankfully the mattress is manufactured by Serta, and Mattress Firm is purely a point of sale. The mattress is beautiful, and I'm very happy with that, but my experience with Mattress Firm started, continued, and has yet to finally end as an absolute catastrophe. As unfortunate as it sounds, I'll need to seek legal advice as I'm sure now that I have seen the "Mattress Firm Customer Service" that any damages done to surrounding objects/structures/infrastructure may find itself directed towards me in an attempt to circumvent their responsibility. Along with the legal consultation I will also need to contact my bank to dispute these charges as it was not at the price agreed, and none of the adjustment credits for violating their own "Red Carpet Delivery Service" and failing to perform half of the tasks they claim they will provide. Getting hold of anyone there to discuss this is clearly impossible at this point.

    On their website, they advertise some simple benefits of this red carpet service: 1 day delivery window or delivery is free - Not true thus far. Same day and next day delivery - Definitely not true. Free in home set up of your mattress set - My bed set still resides in the kitchen. Free removal of your old mattress set - My old mattress and box spring are still in my living room. Courteous and professionally trained Dream Team Delivery personnel - Courteous perhaps, trained - definitely not. Red carpet and sanitary blue booties to protect your home - You're joking, right?

    To all: This is a travesty, even the drivers told me that the company "Simply Doesn't give a **" which was their response when I asked them why they were still out delivering in this weather. (I honestly assumed it was not coming today, it would have only been logical knowing what I already went through.) Neither one of these gentlemen seemed qualified to operate this vehicle, and since it had air breaks it certainly requires additional licensing - unless of course you rent it from a company like Enterprise.

    A horrible place to attempt to cut costs and save money. I have never seen such a grossly structured company, and have never experienced such a horrific shopping and delivery service such as this. The only bright side, I will most definitely get a wonderful night's rest - and I have Sealy Posturepedic to thank for that, not Mattress Firm. Stay away from Mattress Firm, avoid them like the plague. I will never use this company again! Period!

    Bought a twin mattress for our 10 year old daughter who weighs 105 lbs. Within 4 months the edge broke down and you could hear broken springs. Mattress Firm's own inspector said it was obvious that something was wrong with the mattress, yet when we got the letter from Mattress Firm they claimed it met the manufacturer's standards and it is considered normal. We almost $650 on a defective mattress that they won't stand behind. Called customer service and I was 42nd in line with a 58 minute wait.     We had done research through a whole bunch of different mattress stores and found that Mattress Firm had the most knowledgeable employees as well as the best prices and great locations. So we picked up mattresses from the company for our daybed. The Mattress Firm specialist was very knowledgeable in the different technologies and in everything that's changed in mattresses since we purchased our last one. They were able to show us several different price lines and also gave us time to compare and contrast the beds. They even gave recommendations because this mattress is for the trundle so it's not gonna get used very much. They were very polite and great to work with.

The things that people talk about online is the mattress in a store being significantly different than what would be delivered. But what was delivered was a really good quality mattress.     I recently shopped at Mattress Firm for a new mattress (I've purchased several mattresses from Mattress Firm over the past few years for our home and vacation home). I complained that our mattress was sagging on both ends, even though it has been turned routinely. I paid about $40 for an inspector to come to our home to look at the mattress; he arrived on November 7, 2016...he agreed that the mattress was sagging badly. He said that we would hear from MF "in about 10 days." I never heard back from MF. So, today, after being on "hold" for about 35 minutes I was told that the warranty would not be honored because the mattress wasn't sagging enough (or words to that effect). When I explained to the MF personnel on the phone today what the inspector had told me, I was told that the "decision is not up to the inspector."

    I am unhappy at the waste of time in pursuing this warranty claim since it appears that MF didn't intend to honor the warranty anyway. So much for loyalty over the past several years. Mattress prices are about the same in all stores--MF is no particular "stand out" bargain. At this point, it isn't about the money but more about the very poor warranty service. The MF sales staff make a big point of the warranty at sale time, but when/if it comes up, MF fails to deliver. At this point we will buy bedding products from another vendor.

    I had a Tempur-Pedic mattress years ago when the beds were hot, so I wanted another one. I started looking into reviews on all the mattresses that were sold in Titusville and saw that Mattress Firm was a great deal. Their rep was very knowledgeable and sincere, and he helped us a great deal as far as which bed I wanted to buy. He ran me through the whole steps and was an outstanding salesman. Another rep came in and I said I applied for credit for $5,000 on any Tempur-Pedic wherever I wanted to go.     The first bed I bought before was a single and I didn't have any troubles or issues with it being small, but the reps at Mattress Firm brought it out and I slept the first night and we decided I couldn't handle a single anymore. We went back and talked to the first rep because I had a puppy dog that I wanted to sleep with me. The rep made the adjustments and made the coming out and picking up easy. I bought the one that comes up and raises my head up because I've got COPD and the mattress helps immensely when it is raised at the head. The only issue is that the brochure gave me a free pillow with my purchase and it has not arrived or I haven't heard anything about it, but the whole experience has been outstanding.

    Purchased Stearns & Foster King - South Manor mattress w/ Rize mechanical wireless adjustable base, from S. Lamar Mattress Firm. Sales rep T ** was very thorough and methodical in review of bedding and pricing options. Delivery was on-time and the crew was very considerate and professional. We are satisfied with the purchase of both components. But something to consider when purchasing the mechanical base. The use and feel of the base is different, depending on body length of the occupants. As a couple (6'3" and 5'7") positioning comfort is not the same, and the base does not offer customization. Buyer beware. Knowing what we know now we would not purchase the base again.

    I have looking for a new bed for about 3 months. Finally yesterday I find the perfect bed so I financed the bed and was told when we were talking about the bed I would get free same day or next day delivery so get everything set. Was told after all the finance was set the bed wouldn't be delivered for 10 days and I was charged $80 for delivery. Now this is one of the main reasons I bought from them and he knows that as I am a disabled veteran I can not carry a bed into my home but when I called to ask him about this was told if I didn't like having to wait I could bring my crippled rear there and get it myself. Called store manager today and got the, "I'm too busy. Call you back later."

    We bought the adjustable foundation from Mattress Firm, mainly due to the knowledge of the salesman and because he didn't treat us like how a used car salesman would. He was courteous and knowledgeable, and it was more about us than about the sale.     We were shopping for mattresses that Mattress Firm had on sale for Black Friday and I had an excellent experience with the sales reps. They were very thorough. The mattresses were $99 but they had a sample there that they put down and we can lay on it. Then we were shown the next one which was $100 more and the comfort was totally different. Even if they were so busy, they still took the time to explain and show us the difference in comfort. We wanted to buy the little higher priced one so we got a queen set mattress and some protectors for the mattresses.

    The product met our expectations. We were at two Mattress Firms then because on Black Friday they had the protectors on sale. And so at the Mattress Firm that we bought the mattresses, they only had a few to put out. Then my husband and I went out to breakfast and then he said that I call the other Mattress Firm as there's another one close to the house. So I called and the gentleman said they had one of those protectors on sale. I told him to hold it for me and that I'll be there in 15 or 20 minutes. And he held it for me. They were very nice at both the stores. I had a great experience with them.

    I went on Mattress Firm's website and I found something that fit my needs and my price range. I called and placed the order via telephone and had the product delivered to my home. I got a pillow top queen size mattress with the box spring and the metal bedframe. I slept on it the first night I got it and it’s wonderful. Initially, when I had gotten my order, the box spring I had selected was too low. It was shorter than I had anticipated. So I went in-store to talk about doing an exchange. The sales representative was great and the process was really easy. Scheduling the delivery to pick up the old box spring and then to drop off the new box spring was quick. Delivery was right on time and it was a good experience overall. Great customer service. I found exactly what I needed. I was very happy with my purchase and the delivery.

    I grateful to the representative that reached out to me from Mattress Firm. He was willing to listen to my concerns and came back with a fair resolution to the problem. Part of the resolution was that I ask that John Wilhite (Sales Rep at the store) be recognized and be commended for being the sole person at Mattress Firm to put forth a genuine effort to resolve this situation. Even though the mistake was made by John, He immediately recognized the error, offered an additional discount for the initial trouble. When the issue escalated he contacts the next up the line. When that person could not be reached, John called back to make sure I was aware that he could not contact the next in line. From that point forward that was the last time that someone reached out to me to keep me in the loop until I posted on consumeraffairs.com. I view his action as upstanding and is what I would want in a Manage. Mattress Firm needs to have him in a place of leadership because this is what he showed during this experience was Leadership.

    I want to let someone know that we are completely dissatisfied with the way Mattress Firm management handled an error when we purchased a mattress on Black Friday. An error that we are still dealing with to this day. My husband purchased a mattress at my request at the Mattress Firm location on Black Friday for a spare bedroom in our house. The salesperson John rang the mattress up under the wrong person's account so he had to reverse everything including our payment and start again. After this overdrew our account because we now had close to $1,000 being held out of our account by Mattress Firm management we are told management did not return his calls on how to correct this issue immediately.

    The next day and the following Monday, my husband spent several hours on the phone between Mattress Firm and our bank trying to correct the issue. The Mattress Firm salesperson John then told us they would give us a $50 credit for our inconvenience. After several attempts to reach a manager my husband finally spoke to the district manager several days later and his response was "We don't make a lot on that particular mattress, what do you want?" To say the least we are completely astounded by his response.

    My husband explained the financial issue and that we are moving money from our childcare account to cover the Mattress Firm error. My husband asked the district manager to consider if this had happened to his family how would this affect him. My husband asked him to think about what would make this right and to call him back when he came up with an appropriate response. Or to not call back if he felt that was the right response. My husband never heard back from the district manager. We are as of today still trying to recover from that error and the financial burden this put on us.

    I am asking for a full refund for the mattress we purchased - $436.99. I have never dealt with a company that could have cared less about the financial strain this type of mistake creates for a family. As a prior customer we expected a different response. When is it that your profit margin factors into making it right from a customer service perspective? My husband and I both work in the customer service industry and we both could not believe the district manager's response or lack thereof. There are a lot of days both our companies pay for errors their staff make and sometimes they don't make and regardless of the profit margin our companies make it right.

    My husband purchased the mattress from the Mattress Firm at the Mattress Firm Ridgeway Trace 5849 US 72 Memphis, TN 38119. We look forward to an appropriate response from Mattress Firm. The representative at the store John has been the most proactive person in the entire company. There is only so much he can do.

    Do not trust the people talking. Only what is written. I was told I could do a comfort exchange up to three times. When I noted that it is not written that way, sales rep said that "If the mattress doesn't work for you, come in and I'll make sure we get a mattress that will work with you." -- not true. 60 days later, trying to make good on that statement, the sales rep called corporate. Corporate says YES to second comfort exchange!!! I spend 3 hours picking out a much more expensive mattress only have corporate change their mind. NO!!! Corporate misspoke and sent an email to that effect. They could have called the store and saved me 3 hours! Sales rep was mortified and very sorry. Suggested I call customer service.

    I called customer service. 78 minute wait time. Closed. Called next day. 60 minute wait, only to be told that my experience never happened!!! No record!!! I requested a call to the sales rep. Corporate tells me that I should call sales rep. Sales rep says I should call corporate. I think I was handled very badly and indirectly called a liar by corporate rep. Do not trust.

    We were thrilled to pick out the perfect mattress and the gentlemen that helped us was excellent. When we were told we could have it delivers the next day we were beyond thrilled. It was the one day over break I could stay home most of the day. We got a call saying our window was 10-12, but will receive a call when they were on their way. At 9:55 I made sure I stay downstairs. At 10:20 I was emptying the dishwasher. At 10:41 I get a text from my husband that they are on their way. I waited and waited, never heard doorbell. My blinds were open, lights on, and tv on, sounds of me moving our couches to make room for them! Periodically checking outside. By 11:30 I decide to open door and check mail. To my dismay there was a “Sorry we missed you” sign on my door. They did not miss me. I was there the entire time. Checked my doorbell, loud as ever. Clearly never rung. And it's a small house, I can hear my neighbors going in their door.

    I called over and over. There was nothing they could do. Today still nothing, no apology, no delivery waiver, nothing, just a when do you want to reschedule, the earliest is next Wednesday. No, not acceptable. I told her to figure something out today or refund our money. We can't rearrange our lives and schedules a week later because someone didn't make the effort to ring the doorbell or wait long enough. Clearly someone was home waiting. No attempt to contact or anything. Store was great, but delivery was awful and no attempt to apologize or make up for it has been made.

    We knew that there was a Mattress Firm store in the nearby shopping center. And we knew that they sold the Tempur-Pedic mattresses that we were interested in buying, so that was the first place that we went to. We ended up buying the mattress and the bed frame for it. The sales representative was great. She did not pressure us at all. She gave us time to feel out the mattresses and lay on them. She showed us different options, and not steering us into one direction or the other. We already decided we're gonna get a Tempur-Pedic and she recognized that.     I was originally planning on getting a Tempur-Pedic but I happened to be with my daughter and son-in-law in Norman when they were shopping for a mattress at Mattress Firm and I liked what they got and I bought from there too. The Mattress Firm sales representatives were very helpful on the day of the sale. However, they overcharged me and I didn't notice it for a couple of days later. Then when I called them back, they were very cooperative and admitted it was an error and they corrected it right there. I bought the bed in Oklahoma and the delivery came out of Dallas somewhere around the metroplex, and the delivery people were super nice. It was truly a red carpet delivery. There could have been a couple of things handled a little better but it was also Black Friday, so it was a spur of the moment shopping and the two sales guys were very eager to sell. They made it all sound fantastic and it was.

    The mattress and the pillow are awesome but if I had to do it over again I don't think I would have bought the adjustable bed and frame. I didn't realize how high it was and I had to go out and buy a new cover because I can't put my dust ruffle on it. It changed my whole dynamics for my bedroom and it was partly my fault because of not asking the right questions. I asked them if it would be bolt on to my frame and they said yes. I asked the guys that delivered it if there would be brackets and they said they don’t know what I was talking about and I’ll have to order that. That was a little bit of misrepresentation and I was not happy with having my headboard unattached. Other than that, I love the mattress and I'm happy with it.

    My wife and I have been wanting to get a mattress. Then she got excited about what she thought was a good deal from Mattress Firm. I went to the store and told the sales rep that I was there to just get the $159 mattress that my wife saw. Then I laid on the bed and it didn't feel good to me. I was against buying it since I thought that a good mattress was gonna cost way more than $159, but my wife said it was a good deal so we got it. The mattress turned out to be uncomfortable because we laid on springs. We're not using it and we went back to our old mattress. We can't just go in and take our money back so we stuck with it.

    When we went to Mattress Firm, we had a certain criteria and idea of what we wanted but we didn’t have an exact make and model in mind. So they filled in the gaps and helped us out on making a better choice. We bought a king size Beautyrest and the salesman helped accommodate us and get it to us sooner rather than waiting an extra couple of days. The whole process where they notified us was on time and seamless, and they took away the old bed. It's only been 30 days and we're still testing it out but so far, so good and we've already recommend them to somebody. The only thing I don’t like is that I don’t know if we’ve gotten our billing statement yet since we didn’t get an email notification about it and if there's a quick way to pay for it, like an app for it other than the website.

    I bought a 1,363.94 HYB mattress from the Willowbrook Tx location and it was a nightmare! I bought the mattress on Dec 16th 2016. The sales rep Thomas promised it would be delivered 6 days later on the 22nd. The morning of the 22nd I received a call from Mattress Firm saying they were checking the route for the drivers and making sure I will be home. They said they will deliver that day. I waited the 12 hour window and at 8 pm still no Mattress Firm, so I called the Willowbrook Tx location and spoke to Thomas my sales rep. He said he had been off 3 days and he didn't know what was going on. He called me back in 10 min saying it never made it on the truck for delivery! I told him they called me to confirm my delivery that morning. He then further said it can't be delivered until Monday or Tuesday after the Christmas break cause the delivery guys stop delivery after Thursday of that week.

    So Friday my husband went to the store to see why they called but never came? In the store on my husband phone I spoke with Thomas and Thomas began getting very aggressive and angry like he slept on a floor all night like I did! I told my husband to get a full REFUND NOW! Thomas began offering other solutions to this issue. Thomas said the mattress we ordered wasn't in the store, so we decided to pick out ANOTHER one in the store and go rent a U-haul to get it home ourselves! We choose a Kelburn HYB mattress that was 740.00. We asked Thomas what the difference in price he said we will get back 150.00 only for delivery. I told him that's not the difference I paid! He said this was going to mess up his inventory!

    Later he called back saying he can't process a return for 24-48 hrs, then my refund will take 15 days to reappear on my card! Then he called back with a different tone in his voice say "Hey Guys you will receive a 508.00 refund." He was very nasty, and tried to keep my money! He tried to make a even exchange for the expensive mattress for a cheaper mattress. This wasn't the experience I expected. Now I ended up with a cheap mattress and a 15 day wait on my 508.00 return that he tried to keep! I just bought a home and needed 3 bedrooms filled with beds but after the this I will buy SOMEWHERE ELSE!

    We had a very good experience with the salesman, Darren at the Cornerstar Store in Centennial Co. He was knowledgeable, very pleasant and helpful. Our COMPLAINT is with the delivery. We were promised next day delivery. We moved the bed, frame and box out front and waited. When we called to verify the two-hour delivery window, we were told they called both phone numbers and came by our residence and no one answered or was home and that the delivery would be the following day. We checked our phones and there was no call from Mattress Firm to us at any time the 26th of December. There were only calls from us to the salesman and he back to us.     I purchased a mattress from them 2 years ago. The week after buying, I called and complained multiple times, letting them know that it was not comfortable and they kept telling me to jump on it and it would be broken in after about 6 months not realizing that after 30 days you cannot return. We spent over 1000 on it and the one in the store was nowhere near the same comfort level as the one they delivered. Now again I call to find out about what can be done and they said nothing other than a long drawn out process of having an adjuster come out and actually look at the bed and determine if the 10 year warranty can be used. I'm so angry and tired of being in pain with something that I paid so much for. I slept better on my 10-year old mattress.

    I was in the hospital and I had to have a bed that would raise the head up because of my problem, so I sent my children to go buy one for me. They picked out the bed and set up the delivery date, which would be the day before I got home from the hospital. Then they found out that Mattress Firm did not have the mattress that they picked out. They substituted another mattress so that I could have a bed to come home to, and it was just the mattress part, not the frame that brings you up and down. I had to use that mattress for about ten days before the correct mattress was finally delivered.

    I love the mattress from Mattress Firm that my children picked out for me, so everything ended up all right. But it was a real hassle, considering the fact that I was coming out of the hospital. Because of the snafu, Mattress Firm gave us credit on the purchase, but we were not very happy. I'm not dissatisfied with the mattress but I would not recommend them to my friends.

    We purchased a Beautyrest Tolliver Black Hybrid mattress Mattress Firm on 5/15/2016 here in Prescott Valley, AZ store, we did not take delivery until the end of June due to our house was still being built. We are extremely unhappy with the product, and even more with David the guy who sold us the mattress and told us that we only had 30 days to exchange it and now I see that we had 120 days, which by then we knew that the mattress was going to work for us. Now we are stuck with a 5k mattress that neither one of us can sleep on.

    What makes me the most angry it took us about 2 hours to sign the paperwork because he was so busy telling us his life story... We know he owns a hotel in another country, we know he use to own his own mattress company here in the states, we know how he met his wife and so on and so on... But do you think in that 2 hours we could have gotten information that would benefit us??? Ummm nope! Yes I should have researched MF policy when I knew the bed was horrible but because he told me 30 days I didn't even give it a second thought. I just knew we were stuck with a 5k mistake, and to be honest he didn't shut up long enough for us to ask any questions.

    Sadly the bed is so painful to sleep on that the couch is more comfortable. I have had 7 back surgeries and have no problem spending 5k to wake up and not hurt but this Beautyrest is AWFUL! It is so bad it takes me about an hour to even breath correctly after I get out of bed, and I pretty much own stock in Biofreeze now just to try to relieve the pain. I am writing review just to let MF know and hopefully they will fix this problem so that someone else doesn't get stuck in the same position we are in now. There is nowhere to review the mattress on MF website or to review the service anywhere... Hopefully this email will get to someone who cares about their customers and will never let this happen again.

    I needed a mattress and I was looking at Sams Club. Mattress Firm is in the same parking lot and had a grand opening sale. Mattress Firm used to be Sleepy’s and they had just undergone some sort of a buyout so the system was down. The sales rep didn’t understand what was going on or anything about the new system. I did however enjoy how they showed us around to see the different types of mattresses that were available and stuck within my budget but it was a chaotic experience.

    I needed the mattress that day, so I opted to pick it up from the warehouse. I had to pull over for about an hour because the order hadn’t gone from the store to the warehouse and they needed time to confirm that it was actually there. Just going back-and-forth of about a half a dozen phone calls, it took 90 minutes. On top of all of that that’s happened, I was charged over $200 more than I was quoted for my mattress. I then had to go back, call the store and try to get a refund which I was told did happen. It’s been a week and I haven’t seen it show up on my AmEx yet. That was a pretty annoying experience and I will not go back.

    Our mattress is only 2 1/2 years old. Our firm mattress is now soft on one side but looks even. Called in Warranty claim and we were told that the Sleepy's Co. was sold to Mattress Firm. They told us not only that we had to pay for them to come out to inspect but also we had to pay for them to deliver a new mattress even though if would covered under warranty. This was not the policy of Sleepy's from who we bought the mattress. Sleepy's would have taken care of everything at no cost, which they did under a previous claim for us.

    We feel Mattress Firm should honor existing policies of the company they bought for all existing customers. I can understand Mattress Firm policy for their new customers but not old customers of Sleepy's. Would very much like to resolve this amicably since this was not a cheap set.     Someone recommended Mattress Firm. It was my first time to buy from them and it's going to be the last time. The mattress was very hard that it was like sleeping on rocks. I couldn't sleep for nights because it hurts me so much. I paid so much money for the mattress. I hope no one else has that experience. Half of it was my fault because I'm disabled so I wasn't able to come into the store. I first talked to them over the phone and I told them what I wanted and how I wanted my mattress to feel. They did everything they could but they kept sending me the same mattress. So I just gave up and decided to go to the store in Greenway Center Drive in Greenbelt. I ended up having to buy another mattress to make it sleepable.

    My experience in the store was really, really good. It was a A plus. When I went to the store it was changing over from Sleepy's to Mattress Firm, and there was a lot of things that still belong to Sleepy's and they couldn't sell me the bed that I wanted. But they did everything they could to try to get me the bed that I wanted. My sales person and another associate from the store put it on the truck and brought it to my house late that night. They were really good. The experience taught me a lesson that I can't do everything by phone. You really have to go and lie on the mattress. My experience on the phone order was awful. It was a fat F and really unprofessional. The delivery part was on-time though.

    Two pink streaks appeared on our newly installed carpet after we set up the frame and rolled the bed into place. We contacted a store representative who referred us to Customer Service. Customer Service told us that they have no responsibility in resolving the problem. They sell and warranty mattresses, but they do not stand behind bed frames that they sell. They refused to provide us with manufacturer information, but said the manufacturer of the bed frame is responsible. DO NOT buy a brown-toned bed frame from this store; as the caster roller color could rub off onto carpet. The store will not stand by bed frames they sell.

    Ever since Sleepy's changed over Mattress Firm it's been a nightmare! I bought a King Size mattress, while purchasing the girl informed me that we had a warranty on our Queen still. Mattress Marshals came out and did inspection and 2 weeks later we received letter that we were covered for a mattress set replacement for $539, but must act within 2 weeks or not valid. The letter was dated Nov 30, 2016. I received it on Fri, Dec 2, 2016 and went into store on Sat, Dec 3, 2016. The woman Nina informed me we could not complete transaction until Dec 11, 2016 b/c they were switching over to Mattress Firm (1st bit of inconvenience).

    I called Dec 11 and the Manager Nicole said she could not find the info and that I would have to come in. We were not able to even process/schedule a delivery until Sat, Dec 17. I had a delivery scheduled for Mon, Dec 19, between 5:30-7:30pm. At 6pm I received a call saying they were behind in deliveries and did not show my stop until 10:30pm and would I still be interested or reschedule. I agreed to have them deliver at the ridiculous time if 10:30 pm!!! Because I was tired of the b.s.!!! Next phone call was at 8:30pm now stating estimated time of delivery is 11:45pm! SERIOUSLY! What a joke this company is! Of course, the showroom was closed so I could not get any answers. EXTREME FRUSTRATION!!!

    I went the next day and the woman Nicole tried to help me. She was not able to track my order at all! Yet, when I called customer service she showed the delivery was scheduled for that day (Tues. 12/20) but no specified time. Nicole continued to work on it and try to help, she said it showed delivery was active and suggested that maybe they would deliver it during same original time frame, 5:30pm-7:30pm. SO I MADE IT A POINT TO BE HOME. ONLY TO FIND OUT THEY DID NOT DELIVER IT AGAIN!!! We set another delivery for today, Thur, Dec 22, 2016 from 12:15-2:15pm. They finally came at 2:17pm.

    Now, this is a warranty exchange that I was issued on Nov 30, 2016. The delivery men came in, lifted mattress and box spring. The bottom of box spring had 2 small holes from resting on metal bars. He took pictures. He then went outside and made a phone call, then informed me they could not take my mattress & box spring and could not complete my delivery! After all this! I am so disgusted with mattress firm. I am calling my local news stations and newspapers! I was issued a warranty exchange! They already had pictures of the bed & box spring when they issued it, so why now are they denying completing the delivery?!? The third time I sat home for hours and waited for a delivery only to get nothing! I have been completely inconvenienced too many times! Days before Christmas! Like I have nothing better to do than sit home! I cannot believe this company at all! I am telling everybody I know what a disgrace it is!!!

The local manager (in from Miami) said he would not pick up what your delivery guys left for us to do. The delivery people then made a threat about our warranty. Don't make false promises that disappear AFTER the sale.     We purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress and stand from the Mattress Firm store in Fair City Mall in Fairfax, Virginia on December 18, 2016. The mattress is for my 89 year old mother who is recovering from knee replacement surgery and is moving into an assisted living facility. Our salesman was very helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. He reviewed the contract, we paid for our merchandise in full and then we discussed the delivery date. He explained how everything would work with Red Carpet Delivery Service and he arranged delivery for December 20, 2016.

    At 1642 hours on Dec. 20, I received an automated call stating that the delivery truck would arrive at the designated address in 20 minutes. Shortly after 1700 hours, we watched the delivery truck pull into the assisted living facility and we went downstairs to meet the truck. When we got downstairs, the truck was gone and the receptionist said no one walked in to announce their arrival. After several calls to the Mattress Firm store where we purchased our merchandise, we were told that neither the driver nor the warehouse could be reached. We tracked the progress of the truck as it made delivery # 13, 14, 15, and 16, never returning to our stop -- #12. We were told that the truck probably would not come back and that they probably would not return the merchandise to the warehouse for 48 hours.

    We now have a situation where an 89 year old woman has no bed to sleep in tomorrow in her new apartment because the driver, Walter **, would not drop off the bed the first time or try to return to drop off the bed. We waited until 2030 hours, hoping they might have enough consideration to at least call and find out what was going on, or come back with the bed, knowing that it was probably for an elderly individual because of the location. Right now, I strongly discourage anyone from purchasing anything from Mattress Firm unless you can pick it up yourself. It seems that Red Carpet Delivery Service does not give everyone the red carpet service it advertises.

    I bought a king-sized bed from Mattress Firm before and had it for seven years but it was too big for my room. So I wanted another of their mattress where I can lift my back and legs up because I'm disabled and that makes things work well for my legs. It also has a massager on it. It's really good. The sales rep was a fantastic salesman. He was super selling and perfect on everything. I bought a floor model and he explained everything right to the tee. The delivery team was very good. They laid the red carpet down and came in with things on their feet. They were very prompt and didn't damage anything. They did a great job putting in the mattress.

    I got the slip they have but it doesn't seem to fit all the time as it is for a queen-sized mattress. When I put my blankets, I have to knot the right cover to fit on it like a bedspread. Other than that, it's comfortable as hell. I just sink in the mattress and fall asleep. I've also noticed that it really helps me a lot. They were fantastic at Mattress Firm. I'd recommend them to anybody.

Then due to winter weather my delivery had to be move again to 12/21/16 (I understand not delivering in poor weather conditions).     We went to a newly opened Mattress Firm in Philadelphia to get a mattress for a spare bedroom. We were very explicit that because of time constraints, we only wanted to purchase the mattress if we could be assured delivery on Saturday morning because we would be going out of town that afternoon and due to our work schedule, it would be difficult to schedule during the week. We wanted to be sure to have the mattress for my parents when they stayed over for the holidays. The salesman reassured us multiple times that it would be delivered on Saturday morning and gave us a sales window of between 8 and 2, which was also stated on our receipt.

    Tonight, Friday night before our scheduled delivery, Mattress Firm called to tell us our mattress would be delivered around 3:30 PM. Since we would not be home and were going out of town, we had to cancel the order. We were told that the change in delivery time was due to the weather, but the weather report has not changed much since we bought the mattress and we were not warned that this was a possibility. When I called back to ask if I could receive an email to confirm that my order was canceled I was told that I "had to wait until the mattress was off the truck" which wouldn't be until tomorrow. I don't know what that has to do with canceling my order. I was also told that my money would not be refunded to my account until about 7 days later. It is unacceptable and unethical to mislead customers just to make a sale. I would never recommend this company!

    I ordered a mattress online after shopping around for a good price and looking for fast delivery. We needed a mattress set quickly and everything on the Mattress Firm website advertises next-day delivery. I placed my order and received a message saying I would be contacted to arrange delivery. Big mistake. After three days without hearing anything further, I contacted customer service. I was told the mattress I ordered was a "web special" and would take 7-10 days to arrive. This was not indicated anywhere online or in my order confirmation. I asked to cancel my order. The order was canceled, but my credit card has yet to be refunded almost 2 weeks later. Customer Service will not respond to emails and I've called the customer service 1-800 number, only to be on hold for over 10 minutes without speaking to a human being. I will never use Mattress Firm again. And I will never recommend them.

    I bought a Serta Alesbury 8" Memory Foam mattress, opted for in store pick up as it was far cheaper than paying for delivery and not a problem. Upon getting the mattress home, before even removing it from the bag, I immediately noticed it was too small for the full bed it was meant for. Their specs showed the mattress at 54 x 75, which is 1" longer than a full mattress is defined as. The mattress itself, after lying flat for 2 days, is 51.75 x 73. In the frame, which is about 54.75" from rail to rail, I can easily fit my fist between the mattress and the side rail.

    This begins my attempt to return the mattress. The guy at the store tells me its $79.99 fee to flat out return the mattress and does next to nothing to help me exchange it and buy another mattress in the same price range. I swear he said $125 to return it when I bought it, and the paperwork itself says $149 as does Mattress Firm's 100% guarantee, or in my case about 80% guarantee, but still, the completely different numbers makes me additionally nervous about this whole business.

    I called Serta, who were very fast to take my call and give me as much information as I could. They listed different measurements for the mattress (53 x 73.5), but said anything over 1" off in any dimension is out of spec and I could also take this up with the seller's warranty department. Well, still waiting on that call back, but based on the numbers they want to charge for a "self inspection kit" or someone to come out, I'll be better off just losing my $80 and returning the mattress myself. Their guarantee is garbage. You have to drive the mattress to a warehouse, and lose a lot of time and money in the process.

We were fortunate enough to have dealt with him. He was concerned about making sure we had the right purchase. We bought a Beautyrest mattress and pillows from them. However, we were not satisfied with the first mattress that we got. It was a Black series, and it hurt my back and I wasn't comfortable with it. I called and expressed the concern with Dennis after 30 days. He arranged for a return and we picked out another Beautyrest, and it was much better and we’re still happy with it.

    Horrible experience. It all started well at the beginning. We even walked out with a mattress. When they take your money everything is great, but when you have a customer issue, GOOD LUCK! I was charged a finance based on the total bill of $1113.00 instead of my actual balance of $634. When I call Wells Fargo, because they manage the financing, they sent me to Mattress Firm. Mattress Firm says it's Wells Fargo's terms. I keep getting the run-around. I call Mattress Firm Corporate. They say that's handled at store level. I physically go to the store, they say call Corporate. I call Corporate. They say talk to the store manager. The store manager says talk to my area manager. Area manager (George **) then says, "My superior will call you back". I am very disappointed!

    If I could give this company zero stars I would. My order has been lost in a morass of corporate acquisitions with little concern for the customer experience. DO NOT SHOP HERE UNTIL THEY FIGURE THIS OUT. Mattress Firm recently acquired 1-800-Mattress. However, the acquisition is going horribly for customers. I bought my mattress from 1-800-Mattress. They charged me in full for the mattress at the time of purchase. However, they never disclosed that they had been acquired and can no longer set a shipping date for your mattress. Only Mattress Firm can. However, there is no-one at Mattress Firm that you can call to find out when you will get your mattress.

    If you call customer service at 1-800-Mattress the best they can do is offer to send an email to some person at corporate but they won't tell you who that is. They will also not refund you your money for their inability to schedule your delivery. I called two days ago and still have not heard back as to when I will actually receive the mattress I have already paid for. The only thing the lady from customer service will do is send an email on your behalf. Or you can go to your nearest Mattress Firm store and hope that they will refund you the money and reorder the exact same mattress for you. Nice.

    So the customer gets to spend twice the time shopping because the company can't figure out how to fulfill its orders that it has already taken payment on. The mattress I bought is for my son who is now without a bed in our upcoming move. I also need a new mattress and will be going to either Costco or somewhere else reputable to buy that mattress. Rather than dealing with a company that has no regard for its customers.

    My brother referred me to Mattress Firm and I got a foam mattress from them. So far it's great. The sales rep's name was Guillermo. He was awesome, very knowledgeable and easy to work with and he tried to give us the best value for our money. The only thing that I didn't understand was when we first bought the bed, they had put us on a zero-interest long-term plan. Then we upgraded within the time period because we needed the more cooling effect. The upgrade difference didn't go on the same plan but only went on a one-year deal instead of being enrolled into the original purchase. If it were up to me, it would just be rolled into the original plan.

    We've bought from Mattress Firm in the past and have again bought an automatic extra large twins and a Tempur-Pedic mattress. The gentleman at the outlet at Metro Park around Fort Myers was exceptional. He was very friendly, thorough and accommodating. Everything was exceptional except for the delivery people. I had a bed, which Mattress Firm knew I had, with rails in it which had to come out to put the automatic bed in. And I had to find a screwdriver for them, they wouldn't take away what they removed. They just moved the little pieces of wood to the garage. It wasn't very thorough. They were very abrupt and not consumer friendly. The delivery totally lacked in customer service. Besides that, we're happy with the items.

    I purchased a California king mattress and box springs from Mattress Firm on a Sunday evening. I spent almost $1400.00 for the complete set. We were told that the mattress would be delivered the following Saturday between the hours of 2 pm and 9 pm. We waited anxiously for the arrival of our new bed, dreaming of that new experience of a good night's sleep. Saturday arrived and the delivery guys arrived at 08:40 pm... wow! They made the time frame but we would have appreciated the arrival to be on the early end of the time frame. I had removed the old bed and made moving the new bed a breeze for the two delivery guys. The guys rushed in and out of the house making the set up within a matter of minutes, because (they) in their words, did not like working so late. As they began to set up the bed, we noticed a large rip on the bottom of the mattress, and that the corner of one of the box springs had been crushed.

    The delivery guy used his phone and took pictures of the damaged purchase. He called the Richmond Indiana store and spoke to Ashley the store sales person. She stated that since the delivery was so late, that she would not be able to send out an undamaged product until the following Saturday. But since we did not have a bed to sleep on, she would allow us to keep the damaged bed and she would replace the bed with completely new items. The following Saturday we were told that the delivery time frame would be between 5 pm-8 pm. We spoke with the sales person and she could not make the time frame any earlier. But the delivery guy (Cameron) stated that he was their main delivery dude and he would assure that the bed would be delivered by 2 pm.

    Since we had explained to the sales person that we had plans of Christmas shopping and holiday festivities with family members and really could use an earlier time frame, we ended the conversation with the assurance that the delivery would be closer to 2 pm-4 pm. The following Saturday, 2 pm came and went, and 4 pm came and went. We received a phone call from Ashley at Mattress Firm at 4 pm stating that the delivery would be no later than 4:30 pm and she hoped that the delivery time would still give us time to join our family. With the clock ticking 4:30 came and went and still no delivery. Finally we received an automated phone call from Mattress Firm, stating that the delivery team was in our area and would arrive in approx. 45 minutes to an hour. This would definitely cause us to miss the pre-planned family function. We called our children and grandkids and informed them that grandma and grandpa will not be attending.

    Approx. 05:40 pm, the delivery truck arrived and delivered a new mattress, undamaged, but the delivery sent us two different box springs and one of them was torn on the bottom. Once again Ashley was called at the store and assured us that they would deliver two of the correct box springs to replace the damage incorrect box springs, but the delivery could not be made until the next Saturday, between 2 pm and 9 pm. I questioned as to why I could only receive my delivery on a Saturday. Ashley informed me that deliveries in my area are only on Saturdays. That was the only explanation that could be given. She said if that Saturday was not satisfactory, that they could deliver the bed on Christmas eve, but it would be between 2 pm and 8 pm.

    I informed her that I would not expect delivery persons to give up Christmas eve with their families to make a mattress delivery. And I also would not enjoy having a mattress delivered to my home in the middle of our holiday celebration. Let alone the additional moving of furniture during this celebration time. And since we had inconvenienced all of these weeks, that something should be done. The delivery could not be any other time and therefore we will have yet another holiday celebration with our family interrupted by Mattress Firm. I can assure you that I will never make another purchase from this company, and I will see that my dissatisfaction is passed on to all family and friends. Mattress Firm does not stand behind their cheaply built products, nor do their employees, keep their word or try to meet customer needs/desires. Shame on you Mattress Firm!!!

    I purchased a queen size mattress set and frame for my husband on Oct. 18, 2016, to be delivered to a senior facility he was moving into in a few days. Delivery occurred on October 21st and the marketing mgr. for the facility took the delivery men up to my husband's room. The mgr. handed them a tip of $20 (from me) and left the room. An hour or 2 later, it was discovered that they had propped the mattress cartons against the wall and left without setting up the bed on the frame. I was notified and called the store immediately (Store #179056 on Duke St. in Alexandria, VA.). Amazingly, the delivery service has no contact phone number and the salesman was at a loss what to do. I did tell him at that point that I expected a credit of $79.99 for the delivery charge. I kept calling him the next day to see if he had arranged for set-up but I got no satisfaction.

    Finally, I went into the store on the 22nd or 23rd and a different salesman (**) listened to my plight. He got his car and followed me to the senior home and SET UP THE BED HIMSELF!! I then began requesting the credit multiple times and was promised by two different people that it would be processed. I have called the store probably more than 25 times. Finally, on December 8th, after having made a phone call to them, I received a bizarre email stating I had been issued a credit of $79.99 (they called it an "exchange"). However, it had a different Order No. and a non-existent store number. It also was lacking any indication that it had been credited card to my American Express.

    I have checked with AmEx repeatedly and no credit has gone through. I called the store yesterday and spoke to my original salesman. He located the strange email but when he went to look up my Order No., it was gone from the system. He was puzzled and said he would call me back. Of course, he didn't. I don't know what kind of games this company is playing, but I expect more from the largest mattress firm in the country.

He got the same one but is having the same problems. Call MF. They say we have to by a kit for $140 to even see if It could be replaced so if you get a so-called warranty from them it's not at all a warranty. It's a scam to get more of your money and the mattress we bought supposedly have an 8 yr warranty. No more of my business and no more recommendation from me.

    I went online, checked Tempur-Pedic, and the first name that came up as a recommended supplier was Mattress Firm. I had a great experience at their Thruway Center store. We walked in and told them we’d like a Tempur-Pedic. The sales rep showed us the different models and the different features. Then we told him we wanted the adjustable bases to raise our heads up, because when we have Saturdays off we like to be able to sit up in bed and spend some time together with a cup of coffee. The sales rep was good and knew his stuff. He and his associate were very nice.

    We ended up getting an adjustable base to adjust both the feet and the head. Since we have purchased the mattress, our sleep quality has improved vastly. We noticed the difference on the first night. We mentioned it to the sales rep later in the week because we ended up adding extensions to the bed as it was too low. He said that it’s very unusual to get that kind of a result in the first night or two and it normally takes a few more nights than that.

    I purchased a double pillow-top Beautyrest mattress from Mattress Firm. The product is fine, but my experience with the sales rep was unsatisfactory. The gentleman didn't seem to offer me information. I had to pry it out of him a little bit, but I knew what I wanted because I had already done online shopping in advance. He was very pleasant but didn't seem to be sure of himself. First of all, I had requested a double, and this is where the inexperience of the salesperson came in. The first order that he wrote up was a queen, and then when he gave it to me to sign it, I told him it was incorrect. He wrote up a new one. He had a little trouble because of the new computer system, trying to cancel the old and write up the new and had to call the store manager.

    The only problem that I found is that they both complained about problems since the new ownership took over. I've been in customer service all my life and from a customer service point of view, that was not acceptable. But they finally got that straightened out. Then I specifically told them I moved into a senior-living building which is six stories and has only two elevators, one of which can be used as a service elevator for deliveries or moving because it has two doors, one of which opens onto the loading dock. I told them that the delivery had to be made between 9:00 and 3:00 because of the requirement for this facility. So, they'd be able to lock off the elevator to be able to use it. They said fine, they would put that on there.

    But the next thing I got was a robot computer call telling me the delivery was going to be made between 2:00 and 4:30. I went back to the store and said I couldn't respond to the computer call but 2:00 and 4:30 was not a good idea because they couldn't use the elevator after 3:00. There was a bit of hassle going on conversation and they said I can tell it to the driver when he calls me. I got another robot call the morning of delivery, telling me it would be sometime between 2:30 and 4:30. It got pushed another half-hour later which again is compromising the elevator. The driver arrived at 10 minutes to 3:00 and I told him he can't do it because it would mean tying the elevator up after 3:00 and there's no way they would lock out the elevator.

    I've been trying with the store to get this changed but I had no hope of talking to a real person. Finally, I went back to the store and told them. They gave me a telephone number of the delivery warehouse or the man in charge of that. I spoke with him and explained the problem. They finally got it straightened out and they showed up before the 3:00-hour and the actual delivery process went perfectly. The young men were very nice. Also, the poor fellow who tried to deliver it the first time was also very nice.

    But my experience has been totally frustrating because I was dealing with email messages and robot computer calls and no way to speak with a live person. When I went to the store, Tim, the person who gave me a phone number for the warehouse, was very nice, and between him and the young men who delivered the mattress, it really worked out fine. In the end, the delivery finally worked out okay.

    My wife and I had purchased the Serra I Series, when the company was called Sleepy's. We had purchased the warranty in case something happened to the mattress. My wife called them today only to find out that Mattress Firm charges $40.00 just for them to come out and look at your mattress even if it's under warranty. They also state that if the mattress needs to be replaced under the warranty they don't even refund the $40.00. What infuriates my wife and I is that first, the sales staff never informed us that there would be a charge for them to come out to look at the mattress. Secondly, if the mattress needs to be replaced they don't even refund the $40.00.

    Just had a bad experience. I went to purchase a new king bed from Mattress Firm on 11/23. I found the perfect one for us as it would be able to comfortably house wife and I and our 2 baby girls who love laying in bed too - playing and hanging out. Anyway, I was thrilled and couldn't look forward more to getting a new bed.

    The sales person I worked with that day was fine... Didn't really bring much to the table in terms of sales experience but he was able to put in the order which was all I needed. Ordered a Serta Kozma king if anyone is wondering. The salesman told me that the soonest the bed would be available is 12/2, 9 days and they can deliver between 3-9 pm. Salesman discounted the delivery charge due to the delay which was nice (I later realized I could've just ordered online and put in MGR19 promo code to get free delivery but that's besides the point). So, I walked away okay with it, mainly because 12/2 was my birthday and thought it would be a nice b-day gift to myself. About 4 days later, we received really unfortunate news that my wife's Grandma had passed away and the visitation was scheduled for 12/2 at 5-8. So, needless to say, the delivery time won't work.

    I called the store to notify them the day before delivery and request if they'd be able to deliver it earlier in the day the next day... The manager of the store said he would try and get a hold of the warehouse to see about doing so. He called them while I was still on the phone. He told me the delivery warehouse said they will see what they can do and I'd be notified one way or another if they could do it or not. That's all I could ask for. So, I hung up expecting some sort of update... Nothing. I had to keep calling to see what was going on as I needed to try and keep my wife from having to be involved so she could keep her focus where it needed to be. After calling the supervisor for an update 3 times with nothing (they wouldn't say they couldn't or they could after hours and hours of waiting) I know I handled the situation calmly and with reason understanding that it would take great customer service to be able to make it happen to deliver it earlier.

    The supervisor however appeared right out of the gate to be annoyed by me calling. I said, "I'm not being pushy at all, just trying to see if it's possible due to the circumstances of a death in the family." He ended up talking over me repeating "we are doing everything we possibly can but it's out of my hands because the delivery people are the ones that can do anything." Mean, it's whatever. I'm not going to upset over it, was just hoping for some customer service in keeping communication open without giving me attitude before I could even talk assuming I was going to be a pain. Finally I just said "forget it, let's just reschedule."

    So today was the day at 6:15-8:15 pm was the delivery time frame. Received automated call confirming this time frame. I was expecting an email and/or a text too just to have some sort of documented notice so it wasn't just verbal. I checked the tracking delivery site to check that it was indeed on the truck or even thought about. Again, I said it's whatever and not going to get worked up over it, just wanted the bed after 11 days of waiting but just wanted some sort of reassurance. Nothing of the sort. So, leading up to "delivery" I needed something to tell me the truck was on its way so I could take apart our old bed, from the frame to the headboard. So, without any idea of what's going on, I just put the faith in that 6:15-8:15 we were going to get a bed... After a heck of a terrible/long weekend we were hopeful for a new comfy bed to sleep on tonight. I made the path clear and ideal for bringing up the bed and box springs.

    7:45 came and I finally received an automated call saying they'd be here in 10 minutes. Thank goodness because our girls were TIRED and needed to go to bed... very cranky. So they arrived, I went outside to greet them saying "thank you, thank you, thank you for showing." The delivery guy was looking for the frame in the truck and grabbed it to bring in. While walking to front door he ended up asking me, "So, just a frame and bed spring, right?" I laughed and said "...that's a good one, cruel joke, but funny." Turns out, he wasn't the joking type. The warehouse didn't load the mattress... Apparently the salesman at the store I ordered from rescheduled for delivery today but neglected to make sure that the mattress was a part of the delivery.

    The frustration that came over me couldn't be explained. My old bed is completely taken apart and our room is a wreck for clearing a path for the new bed. Not to mention, my daughters were beyond tired and needed to go to bed but we were trying to get this bed delivery just over with... Unfortunately this wasn't happening. Who would only order a box spring and frame only?!? I'm almost in tears because I allowed my wife and kids to go through all of this being put on the back burner to get this bed in. This has been a terrible experience from start to finish. I will be asking for a full refund tomorrow with zero fee for "restocking" as the bed was apparently already stocked. There is literally only 1 way I would deal with MF again after tomorrow getting refund and I'll leave that up to the imagination of all what I'm expecting if MF is really red carpet quality service...

The drivers told me that they would have the product delivered to me the next day. And I took off work early to make sure I will be there on time and they never showed up.     I purchased a bed from Mattress Firm in Burnsville, MN on 10/15/16. An additional $429.00 was charged to my Synchrony Financial account.     My wife has been waking up every morning with a backache and our mattress was probably 15 years old. We happen to be at Bojangles' and there's a Mattress Firm store right next door to it. My wife told me it's time for a new mattress and we went next door. The young man who sold us the bed was excellent, very, very knowledgeable and was very, very professional on the way he treated us and the way he closed the sale. They were right on schedule,were excellent, very polite, courteous, and did not leave or cause any mess. We were very, very impressed and I have praised them to several of my friends and told my friends to go where we went if they ever needed a mattress. We're really very pleased with the service and the bed. Double A all the way across the board. My wife is tickled to death because she didn't hurt anymore when she wakes up in the morning. I always wake up two or three times a night and now I've been sleeping all night long and not waking up at all. My wife told me the other morning we woke up that I snored like a chainsaw the past night and that I haven't done that in years. So it was a good choice and it's doing the job with me.

    Unfortunately, I have had an awful experience with the Mattress Firm Company. I purchased a mattress on 9/23/16. The purchasing experience was not great as it was evident that I was lead on by the salesman to believe that my mattress would be delivered the very next day. When checking out, the wrong order was initially wrung up, and when finally corrected, the salesman indicated that the mattress I was purchasing was on back order for 3 weeks. I scheduled red-carpet delivery for a specific day and paid upfront for it.

    On the scheduled delivery day, I called the store to inquire what time I should expect delivery and they indicated that I purchased pick-up at check-out, which my receipt contradicted. The next day, delivery was rescheduled for a 6-hour window the following day. Nothing was delivered and I took a day off of work to wait. I again called the store and was promised that the mattress would be delivered during a 6-hour window in two days and that I would receive a refund for the delivery fee that I previously paid.

    I have been back and forth with this branch since October 15th inquiring about my delivery fee reimbursement, which I have yet to receive. I have spoken to countless salesmen, who have tried to be helpful, but have been unsuccessful. It is now December 2nd, and my local branch no longer answers my calls, as they must have flagged my phone number. I have called the company customer service, but they just direct me to my local branch, which does not answer. I would really like my delivery fee reimbursed immediately.

That was a nightmare in itself. It was supposed to be free delivery and I took half the day off work. They said they were gonna be there by a certain time. Hours went by and they kept telling me they were coming, but I found out an hour before I had to go to work that they never even came to pick up the mattress. Nobody came to deliver it and there was no communication regarding that.

    I purchased everything on a Tuesday and it was supposed to be delivered on Saturday. Then they told me the next time they'd be able to get somebody to come out would be another week or two which was totally unacceptable because I've already gotten rid of my old bed at that time. I had to get friends together with a truck to go and pick it up myself. It was a king-size, hybrid mattress which is the most difficult to deal with because it's got no structure to it to get it up a flight of stairs. That part wasn't good at all but I'm very happy with the way the mattress is performing and I'd still recommend Mattress Firm.

    I purchased the Sealy Sedgebrook PPT King Mattress with box springs and cover from the Jordan Creek store in West Des Moines, IA. The set was to be delivered on November 25, 2016. When the set arrived the delivery guys set up the mattress in about 15 minutes. My husband pointed out box spring fabric that had pulled away from the box spring. I looked at the mattress set 10 minutes later and realized that this was not the set we paid for. The mattress we received was a Sealy Deveraux set with no pillow top. That set is $500 to $700 less than the one we bought.

    We tried calling the sales person, who never called us back and ended up having to drive more than an hour to the store. I was given a convoluted story about a mix-up and then a story about my real order not coming in on time and that the store just wanted to get me something in the meantime, though no one called me, ever. Then the sales person set a new delivery date for this Friday, December 2, 2016.

    Unfortunately, I have no faith in this. Why would Mattress Firm give me a cheaper mattress set that looked almost like the one I bought if they weren't trying to bait and switch? By delivering something else, they are now out of the cost of that set (as it is used now, unless they plan to cheat someone else by pretending it is new). Why would the salesperson, a manager, issue an exchange order? I am not exchanging mattresses. I NEVER received my order! Why can't I look up my order numbers online on Mattress Firm's site? Why did the salesperson in West Des Moines place my purchase order as if I was in Des Moines on SE 14th when I was in the Jordan Creek store? Something isn't right.

    I did some shopping around but I felt more on my own when I went to the other places. Whereas as Mattress Firm, the rep was there along the way. He was more friendly than anyone. I also felt more comfortable spending that much money on a mattress. I got an adjustable base bed, a contemporary, and a black hybrid Beautyrest mattress. I got them delivered and the delivery team was prompt. But when they were putting in the new bed to take apart the old bed, they didn’t bring the necessary tools.     I'm in the military, I just moved to San Antonio and I needed a new mattress. I went to the store with my wife and talked to the reps from Mattress Firm. They showed us a couple of mattresses, my wife seemed to like one of them and we went for it. We only got the mattress and it's the medical type. I was supposed to put it in six months of financing but I did it all within 20 days. It was a nice experience and I'm enjoying the bed. However, the edges would have been better if they make it all the way through and not bent. For some reason the edge is sloping and when I raise my head on it, it kind of feels like my neck is going backwards a little bit. Other than that, every other thing is good.

    Every step of the buying process was problematic. Anticipated delivery of my new mattress was going to be delayed 2 weeks, even though the delivery location was 1.5 miles from the store. Computer problems prevented the salesman from being able to print out a receipt on the night of the purchase. When I stopped back a few days later for the receipt, I noticed I was overcharged for the delivery fee. Computer problems prevented him from being able to credit my account, or print a receipt - again. He said they'd refund the account and mail the receipt - it never arrived, credit card still has the full charge on it. Several phone calls went unanswered - the phone rings and rings DURING BUSINESS HOURS and then is picked up by a fax machine, resulting in a loud screech directly in this customer's ear. This happened several times throughout this buying ordeal.

    The night before the expected delivery, there was never a confirmation call with delivery timeframe. Delivery date and time came and went - no delivery, no phone call. I called to inquire where my delivery was, spoke with assistant manager, who said he'd call "dispatch," assuring me he'll call me 'right back.' 20 minutes later (and several fax machine screeches later), I finally got him back on the phone - "dispatch" informed him that the mattress I purchased was on the truck, but badly damaged. Again, no phone call to me, the customer, who is waiting for the delivery. Canceled order. Will never do business with this company ever again. WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!

    My husband and I bought a mattress from Sleepy's -- we were caught up in the national conversion to Mattress Firm. We spend about 3k and are left with a defective mattress and a broken foot board. We have spoken to about 10 different people all the way up to corporate. They are RUDE with no care whatsoever for the way in which they speak to you OR the way in which they conduct business. I work in the corporate world and I have never been as disgusted in my life as I am with these 2 companies. I will spend the next month giving bad reviews and ratings wherever I can. We have contacted an attorney and will be complaining to the consumer department with the department of the attorney general. I will file any lawsuit I can over this issue. It is most disgusting how they could care less about their customers.

    I spent $2000.00 on a new mattress and head-board/bed frame. Upon check-out I was informed that the head-board/bed frame weren't available for two weeks. I accepted this, though didn't like it. Two days prior to the arranged delivery date the store manager contacted me. To paraphrase: "sorry, but you won't be getting your delivery when we agreed you would." He furthermore would not provide me with a date when I would receive it. I'm wondering if I ever will. He attempted to imply it was beyond his control. He kept saying, "the screen which has available delivery time-slots in green... They are no longer green!"

    The lack of responsibility for this situation is appalling. The "explanation" is insulting. This is a business transaction. Mattress Firm has, in my mind, violated the terms of the agreement. Expecting consumers to understand and forgive mistakes made by your business... after taking $2000 from them... that's asking too much. Mattress Firm has lost any future business from me and also earned negative publicity from me with all acquaintances, friends and family.

    Mattress Firm seemed like they were more professional than other companies and their prices are better than Macy's. Their sales reps were really nice and they don't try to sell the most expensive mattress. They kind of go with what I like and gave me some time to figure out if I liked the couch or not. The delivery team took the old mattress which is a good thing. I got a hybrid but after a while I wanted to change it because I didn't really like it. They made it easy to return, but I wasn't able to because my four months has gone by. But I still like Mattress Firm because they look clean and organized. They're always in a very convenient location. I also like that they gave me the mattress cover and the pillows. I feel like they're the only mattress store that I trust.     My wife bought a mattress for her mother. The salesman (I met him too) was excellent and told us all about the different mattresses and how we were protected by the wonderful Mattress Firm warranty. "You can't really lose" he said. I was extremely impressed by his knowledge of mattresses. So my wife bought a memory foam mattress, which frankly has no memory, unless memory is defined as remembering to return to an uneven and uncomfortable shape. At first we thought the floor in my mother-in-law's new apartment was sloping, because the top of the mattress sloped on one side. We put a dozen layers of thick cardboard under the legs of the bed on one side. It still sloped. We turned the mattress around. It still sloped. Three weeks on, my poor mother-in-law has not had a single night of decent sleep on this so-called mattress.

    It isn't really a mattress at all. It's a piece of foam that is so soft, you can squeeze it down to a few inches in your hands. It is an insult to mattresses to call it a mattress. It's a chunk of foam, so call it what it is. It doesn't qualify to be a mattress. Ten different people, friends and family, have looked at this product, and all think it is the worst piece of junk ever to come out of a mattress store. We believe it has been used before. It looks like a very heavy person had previously slept on it and its "memory" has never forgotten about it.

    Personally, I wouldn't be happy for my dog to sleep on something so poorly made. My mother-in-law called the store and explained the situation, before spending another day sleeping on her sofa to make up for lost sleep. Again, very helpful--"Yes, we can change that, but you will have to wait 30 days after you purchased it. Just go to the store that is a few hundred yards from your new apartment and they will sort you out." So we spent around an hour in total at the store and chose a replacement mattress. Again, great service--"just fill in a form on the website and we can exchange the mattress within two days and only charge $80." Unfortunately, corporate Mattress Firm has little in common with the Mattress Firm stores when it comes to warranties and customer service.

    We were told by the store manager that we could "simply fill in the online form" and wait for the new mattress to come in two days. My mother-in-law was thrilled. Finally, she was going to get a good night's sleep. So we looked on the website and learned it isn't really that simple. We have to pay for the mattress to be inspected. We have to pay for a "processing fee" and an inspection fee, delivery, and all of this takes weeks, when there's a Mattress Firm store almost opposite the driveway to my mother-in-law's apartment building telling us something different.

    We called the store back. The store said to call corporate back and explain our situation--note that we were now being told something different from when we were in the store who said we could exchange the mattress in two days. What kind of customer service is it, that tells the customer to go forth and deal with the problem after promising that all you need to do is fill in an online form and everything will be dealt with and you will have a new mattress in two days?

    Can you imagine any other retailer doing that? Imagine Walmart or Target telling you to call corporate if you have a defective product. Imagine buying a car from a dealer and the car fails to work as it should, and the car dealer tells you that you can have a replacement car in two days, and then they say, "no, you have to contact Ford or Chrysler corporate offices and pay for somebody to inspect your vehicle". Why does Mattress Firm think it can get away with that kind of service, when other firms know that they cannot treat their customers like that?

    We called Mattress Firm HQ. There were 41 people in front of us on the customer complaints hotline. Yes, 41 people waiting to complain! They would hardly be waiting for hours on the phone to say how good Mattress Firm is, would they? We left a number for them to call us back. We are still waiting two days later. What kind of customer service is that? As other reviewers have noted, this is a SCAM. The stores say one thing to get a sale. HQ say another thing.

    Do not be conned. When 45% of reviews are giving one star, stay away. To summarize, through inferior product and poor service, Mattress Firm has ruined my mother-in-law's new life, moving into an assisted-living apartment, just after the loss of her husband. She would have been better off to keep her old mattress. My advice is do the same. Keep your old bed rather than buy a mattress from a company that has no concept of good service.

    The last two mattresses I had broke down within the first four to five months. They were coil mattresses from other places. I did buy a stack of mattress from Mattress Firm and my experience with them has been pretty good. I'm still on the new process of this Temper-Pedic mattress but so far, so good. I love it. So, we got a king and a queen mattress with bed rails and some pillows, and the box spring.
