My first experience with Mattress Firm was absolutely terrible. I would not go back in their East Lyme store even if they give me a mattress. The gentleman did not know what he was talking about. He had no idea how to fill up the application, and it was simply not a pleasant experience. I ended up talking to the general manager of the whole district. The money was taken out of my account for the first time that I did it and it took me days to get my money back.
I started the whole process over again in their Waterford store. I bought my mattress from them and I had a better experience. But the quality of the mattress is not as good as I thought it was going to be. It is wearing too quickly. The seams are separating, and I've only had it two months. I don’t think a brand new mattress should be separating after not even two months.

We saw a Mattress Firm massage chair at a fair and my wife really liked it so we decided to buy it. They delivered it the next day and they were on time. They called and told me they were on their way. We live 100 miles from the fair and about two hours later, they got here. They set it all up and cleaned everything after. They were good.

We had a wonderful experience with Mattress Firm when we got a mattress for my son, and he now enjoys it. The manager who helped us out was really cool. What we got for the value was all worth it. We went to the store towards closing, and the rep stayed after closing and helped us out. He even sent us a card afterward which my wife really appreciated. The delivery people tried to make contact and left a message, which I didn’t get right away for whatever reason, but I was able to get here in time when they met us up. They took the old mattress just like we had talked about and all went smoothly and nice. Definitely, we wouldn’t be opposed to purchasing a mattress from them again.

We recently bought a mattress and box frame from Mattress Firm. Our sales rep was friendly and very helpful. I went to the store for the basic or cheapest mattress and the rep explained to me and convinced me to buy another mattress, which was from somewhere that had gone out of business and that they took over. He said it has a better quality but a little more expensive. He explained to me how the other mattress would be hard and I really didn’t want that. So it was worth it, and in fact, it turned out being a better bargain for me. But the delivery wound up not being correct, because we purchased a full when it was supposed to be a queen. But the rep also told us how to handle it. He was very helpful with everything and we got it taken care of.

As I walked in the door at Mattress Firm, I explained to the reps what I wanted and they took us right to it. The whole process took 15 minutes and then we had everything set up for delivery the next day. It was extremely easy. The delivery team showed up and told me who they were, then after I needed my mattresses to go, they ripped all the plastic off of them and put them up where they needed to be. I didn't have to do anything. I just showed them where they went, and they did their job and then carried on. I'm a satisfied customer and they've definitely earned my business for the next time.

I had previous purchases from Mattress Firm, so I bought from them again, and this time, it's an adjustable base and bed. Although I had to call their sales reps to ask about a return, but other than that, I had no problems. I'd definitely recommend them.

I wanted the Tempur-Pedic and the local place that carried that brand was Mattress Firm. Their salesperson was good when we walked in the store. He had us lie on the beds to pick the firmness. We had a pretty narrow scope of what we wanted so we went down the line on firmness. Some of the materials would also look cooler than the other materials. We were there for only 20 minutes and we purchased the mattress and the base. We also got their pillows since it was part of their promotion at that time. The delivery was quick and their guys were courteous. The mattress is great and the new mattress smell is gone now. We love the mattress and our experience was fine.

My experience with Mattress Firm was excellent. I love this mattress. It's the nicest birthday present I've ever gotten from a child. Our cat ruined my bed and we were making a joke out of it. My husband was going in with all kinds of detail about how awful it was to clean up in here. My daughter called me one afternoon and said that she's going to give me a mattress and a box spring this year, and she did.
It's been my napping bed. In fact, it's the best mattress we have in the house. I had a bed frame that has been my grandmother's bed that she had left me but I never had it in my house and so my other daughter and her husband shipped the bed frame from my mother's house and set it up in here with the new mattress and box springs, and this is now my little haven. My daughter ordered it from Iowa but she looked up on the internet and called one of the Mattress Firm store that just opened here in Concord and the fellows from there brought it in. They were wonderful. They were on time, they wore shoe covers in the house and they took the old mattress away in the plastic dispatch. They were very nice and very professional.

We purchased couple of mattresses from a local store in Scottsdale, AZ. Once we got past used car sale tactics at the store, we had two new mattresses for ourselves and our child. The one we purchased for ourselves was a top of the line Foster and Stern king size mattress. After about a year it was sagging so badly that one could only sleep in one position that is aligned with the sagged area. The Mattress Firm not only charged us for coming out to inspect the mattress but refused to do anything about the issue because the sagging was only 1.5 inches. Do not buy from this company and definitely do not buy $2K Foster and Stern products!

Mattress Firm being local prompted me to purchase from them. The sales representative was great, very friendly and professional. I bought two mattresses and one that's adjustable. I had it delivered and the delivery team was also professional. They came in and set up the bed. Everything is good so far.

Mattress Firm is number one in the country and they had the best deals. I would definitely recommend them. Their sales rep from the St. Augustine store was very good. Their delivery team was very polite and the delivery went very smoothly.

When we purchased the Simmons Beautyrest Clermont Queen Prime it was just fine. After not even a year the thing sags terribly... we feel like upside down turtles trying to get out or turn over on this bed. We had a representative come out and do that string test. Got a letter back stating that the mattress meets the requirements of a sound product. Yes if you are not laying in the trap. We are going to be looking to file a small claim against the company Mattress Firm. Any help would be appreciated.
UPDATED ON 11/24/2016: We had to buy a new mattress for $899.00 to get a good night's sleep. The $3000 hybrid Simmons was sag city. Felt like upside down turtles.

I bought a Beautyrest mattress and an adjustable frame. The delivery team was quick. They had it all setup in no time. Sales rep was really knowledgeable. He searched through deals, gave me prices and let me try out a bunch of beds. I'm pretty happy with it. We had bought a bed from Mattress Firm before.

Shortly after purchasing our bed from Mattress Firm we had some problems with it and we thought that there was nothing we could do about it. We lived with the problem for close to a year until finally I called Mattress Firm here locally in Lake Wales and I mentioned to them that there was a problem and let them know that it was a very poor purchase on our part. Instantly someone at Mattress Firm reminded me that there was a 10 year guarantee. We wouldn't have known about it if they hadn't told us.
Within a short period of time they took care of all the paperwork. They had somebody come down from some private company and inspected it, took pictures and within two weeks we had a brand new mattress and box spring delivered. We couldn't be happier. It's in excellent condition. The first one was just a bad item and this one is great and I like the feel of it. The folks in Lake Wales were great. They helped us and guided us through. They gave us an excellent deal and it ended up full price. Everything we got through credit they delivered and it was great. I really appreciate it. I'm going to be 75 years old and I needed something comfortable and I'm very glad that I have it.

I got a queen bed and a frame from Mattress Firm for $530 with tax. The bed is excellent. I've never slept better because I was never on that good of a bed. My back's better too. I'm 62 years old and in better shape.

Warranty Claim - The entire process is a complete scam! Scheduled an appointment with their vendor - was called the day before and was told they were no longer doing business with Mattress Firm. Rescheduled another appointment - they no show no called. Called the Warranty department - completely clueless, my notes are more detailed than theirs.

My brother bought a mattress from Mattress Firm four years ago and there's not a lot of mattress places in the town that I live in so I also went there to get a pillow top mattress. The salesman was very good. He took me around and showed me different mattresses after I told him the kind I was looking for. He was very helpful in what a chose. It was a thousand dollar mattress which I got for $899. They delivered it earlier on a Saturday. I was supposed to have a one to three delivery time and they called me at nine in the morning and said they could be here by 11.

I had bought a bed from Big Lots and it just sunk down in the middle. They exchanged it, and the second one was doing the same thing. So, I went to Mattress Firm to get another mattress. When I went to pick up the bed, I found another one that I wanted. It was so comfortable but they wanted more money on it, and I couldn't afford the additional $200. But I always have problems with the item that I bought. It might be the bedframe or the bed. The bed still hurts my back. I told my husband, “I thought this bed was gonna change with my back, but it didn’t.” My son slept on it for a few nights, and he said his back hurts.

Mattress Firm had the mattress in the price range that I wanted. However, we had to return the box spring the first time because it was extremely high. We exchanged it for a Bunkie board, which was too little but it's fine. I had to pay a re-stock fee and I wasn't real happy with that.

A friend of my mom had a good experience with Mattress Firm and they have good pricing. The financing was a really big deal breaker for me. I’m 19 and I need to build up some credit because I’m looking to buy a vehicle, so I figured that would be a good way to build some credit. Also, my mattress was in really bad condition so I figured it was a win-win. Then I got a queen size mattress set with a pillow top and springs.
The sales representative was extremely helpful and not just there to make a whole lot of money off of commission. They made sure that I got at least what I needed and nothing more, nothing less. I didn’t have the money for something more and I like that they didn’t try to sell me the mattress protector or the one that stays cool. They only said, "If you need something waterproof, that’s all you need. If you wanted to go for the other one, that’s fine, but this is at least what you should get if you decided to get a mattress protector." They really helped me pick out the frame and everything. Overall, I got what I was looking for, I’m still using it, and haven’t returned it so it’s pretty good.

Overall, Mattress Firm is very good. The sales rep was fine. The only issue I had is that the purchase was initially denied and I don't know why because I had bought from Mattress Firm before and paid the item off, so that was weird. And then I had to keep going back and forth on the phone with Progressive. Otherwise, the mattress guy was good.

Mattress Firm is in the area and the only place I knew about so I bought a mattress, box springs and sheet set from them. Their sales reps were very helpful and knew a lot about the mattresses. The first mattress that I got in the store was not as firm as the one that I had delivered. So I kept it for a month and then traded it in for a more plush mattress. I'm now happy with the mattress that I have.

We were buying a mattress for the guest room and didn't care about how high the quality was, but we wanted something that we can afford, and so the price was the reason we went with Mattress Firm. We got a mattress, box spring, and frame. It was good with the sales representative. She was really knowledgeable, matched our prices, and seemed to understand our concerns. It's been great with the products, which were delivered quickly. These products were delivered on time, and that was really important to us.

My old mattress was infected with bugs but I sent Mattress Firm a sheet of paper releasing them from liability. And I had a sheet protector on that was especially for that 'cause I've had that mattress for almost 20 years. So it's going to have the evidence of past contamination because that protector was bought especially for that. When the delivery guy came over, he saw the evidence that I had been infected once before. He said I got bugs but there was none on the mattress. I had picked the mattress up and I dusted the carpet again, so the house was completely clean. All he had to do was deliver the mattress to me but he didn’t even stick around. He didn't even show me where the bug was. He said I had to call my salesman and left.
I live in an apartment complex where there are three other apartments. I understood that because of what I'm doing, Mattress Firm didn't want to drop off my new mattress. They needed proof that I have no bugs, but I’m not going to get proof in one day because it takes so long and the sale had already gone through. I understood liability purposes so what I did was I called my landlord and that very day, they came out and they sprayed. They found the nest and took it out.
It has already been two weeks and Mattress Firm was supposed to deliver. I've never been treated that way with anybody, where I had to wait all that time and then they’ll tell me they can’t help me and I’m going to have to take care of it again. Finally, I called them back and I said I didn’t want the damn thing. I bought the same mattress from another store right down the street and saved myself $200. They did take the credit off of my MasterCard and as far as I know, they haven't billed me. Also, the salesman who waited on me was great. But the delivery man was obnoxious and had no common sense. I've been around business for a long time dealing with stuff like this and that's just not the way you deal with a customer.

Mattress Firm had a sale in town and I bought box springs and mattresses. Their sales rep was courteous and able to answer all our questions. The delivery got mixed up because it was supposed to be delivered to two different addresses and it was a couple of days before everything got straightened out.

We purchased a Tempur-Pedic four years ago and it was a pleasant experience so we went back to Mattress Firm and did another purchase. The sales rep showed us what we asked for and we made a quick decision and closed the deal for the set. The delivery team was very professional and the product is exactly what we ordered. My mom got a mattress and box springs and they cost close to a couple thousand dollars. They were pretty expensive. The two kids that came to deliver the items were so efficient. I tipped them a $10 bill because they were both good kids. My old mattress definitely needed to be replaced, so the new one from Mattress Firm has been a godsend. It's been very nice.

Just moved to North Carolina from California, purchased 2 mattresses in advance of the move back in September. We are arriving before our furniture and I scheduled the delivery for our arrival date, so we would have beds to sleep on. Delivery was expected on 10/31, and we were given a window of 1:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. I received a call, which I did not answer so it went to voice mail, around 11:30, saying the delivery would arrive early, between 1 and 1:30 p.m. I never saw anyone, nor received a call, or a call return after I called back at 2 p.m. I called the store to complain, and the store was not able to resolve the issue, they claim the delivery crew showed up, which they did not. We ended up booking a hotel after being promised a delivery the next day and they would refund the initial delivery fee. A delivery happened, about 9:30 p.m., but only for one mattress out of 2, so my son spent the night on the floor.
Today is day 3 and after being promised another delivery would happen today after 8 p.m., I have not seen or heard from anyone, it is now past 11 p.m. The crew was supposed to call us on the way from their previous delivery, and once again they are no show. So we're looking at another night on the floor, and some more vague promises tomorrow. Every email I receive with a new delivery date shows a different order number, which is probably just idiosyncratic since I bet they expect everything to go well. In any case, I am appalled at the abysmal service quality, and considering filing a complaint in small claims court.

In February 2015 we purchased a Mattress from Mattress Firm. Purchase went fine. Sales rep. and del. went very well, but the Mattress sagged in the middle already after a few nights. So we went back and picked out different one (supposed to be a better quality) and had it exchanged. And we must say after 1 year and 8 month, this one is not better. Sagging into, supposed to be a better quality the middle, and already making noises when one turns over. We will never buy another one from Mattress Firm again (this was our first) and we sure don't recommend Mattress Firm to our friends.

We got the mattress and some accessories like the end pillows and sheets as well as a sheet set and a mattress cover. The sales rep was both friendly and very curious. I needed a new mattress and I just went in to check things out at Mattress Firm. The sales representative was very nice and knowledgeable. I ended up buying a floor model which was non-returnable. I'm not real happy with it though and I won't buy a floor model again because I'd like the opportunity to return it if I get home and not happy with it. But I was told that upfront and so it's fine.

Mattress Firm's price was better than some of the competitors. I purchased a twin-size mattress and everything went well. The sales lady at the store on Market Street was polite, very cordial and very, very helpful. Her customer service was good, she did a great job on her presentation. Even though their store didn’t have the mattress, she arranged with the other store on College Road that had it. I went that way and by the time I got in there, it was there, and I just picked it up. The product is still working, in good condition, has good quality, and so far, I'm satisfied.

We saw a Mattress Firm store and we went in and bought a base and the Sealy king foam. Their sales rep was very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. The delivery was quick. It was nice that the team covered their shoes with plastic so they wouldn’t mess up my floor. Then they put up the mattress and asked me if I had any questions. They were nice and friendly. However, the mattress was a lot firmer than my husband and I were expecting. The salesperson said that the new mattress will be a little firmer than the one we tried at the store, but my husband thinks it's a lot firmer. We're going to give it some more time because they said that it would take a while, but so far so good.

The Mattress Firm store was convenient and easy to find. However, their salesperson wasn’t very good. She sold me a Tempurpedic mattress and some other manufacturer’s base and we bought a warranty from them for the whole thing. Then when we got it home and read the details it's said the Tempurpedic warranty was invalid if I didn’t have a Tempurpedic base. It was obvious the salesperson didn’t know what she was talking about. We went back to the store and spoke to somebody else. They stepped up and fixed the issue quickly, so I was impressed with that. The delivery people had to come and take the old base away and bring a new one, but they did that within two days which was fine.

The mattress was delivered 10/31/2016. I slept on it that night, I woke up with a very bad backache. I went to the store on 11/1/2016 and was told I had to sleep on it for 30 days. If after 30 days I could return the mattress for exchange. I was told that I had to speak to the person who sold me the mattress who was working at another store. I refused. I called Mattress Firm and they told me to sleep on the mattress for 30 days and I should get my money back. I was very angry and Stopped credit card payment.

I visited the Mattress Firm on Airline in Baton Rouge on 9-6-14. The salesman was very friendly and the whole shopping experience was pretty easy. I spent almost 1,400 for a Stearns and Foster mattress and it was great. It started to sag and has gotten worse and worse. I called to start a warranty claim and it took over a month for someone to come out and inspect it. Now, over a month after inspection, I still have not gotten a resolution from them. I called the store several times and have been told they couldn't find my account or they needed to talk to corporate etc, etc.. and they would call me back. Then they never call back.
I called customer service yesterday and was told that there was no center support on the frame so they will not warranty it. The thing is, I got the frame from them. AND THEY set it up when they delivered it! It was delivered two weeks after they promised and I was at work so someone else let them in to set it up. Since the frame doesn't show up on the invoice I can't prove that it came from them. I did not own a frame because I had a platform bed prior to this one. I called the store again and asked what could be done and they were going to call me back. That was yesterday. I am very upset about this and fed up. This was the first expensive mattress I bought for myself and it was a total waste of money. It has a deep sag and cannot be used. I wish I would have gone somewhere else!!!

I was running around looking for a place to buy a bed and decided Mattress Firm was the best place to go with what I could find. The first time I went in, there was one guy who talked to me and I didn't get anything. I tried to get back with him but he'd already moved on to another store. When I went to the store for the second time, the guy there ignored me. He's just by his desk and playing with his computer. He didn't say anything so I turned around and walked out. I went to the other store across the street and the guy there that helped me with my purchase was very polite, nice and right on top of things. As soon as I walked in the door, he acknowledged that he saw me come in and I sat near him and bought a bed. So I got a better experience from the third person.
The delivery team got out about 9:30 pm the day I bought the mattress which is pretty much on the time that they had planned on being out there. They got to set the bed down where I need it to be, I signed the paperwork and they were gone. They're very courteous. I'm having a hard time getting used to having that bed but it's getting better.

We purchased a mattress, frame, and two pillows through Mattress Firm. The sales guy was really helpful with the information on several mattresses that we looked at. He was really professional about it and one reason we ended up getting that mattress was because of the information that was provided for us. We had the items delivered, and the delivery people were really professional, too. They came to the house early in the morning, which was what was promised. Also, they were able to help me out by getting rid of my old mattress. That’s a big plus. My experience with them was great. From the time that we arrived to the place and to the time they delivered the mattress, they're really helpful. My son is the one who’s enjoying the bed. He loves it. He hasn’t complained at all. It's getting more difficult to get him up in the morning to go to school.

Mattress Firm had the best deal and the gentleman I worked with there was great. He made it easy for me because I've never bought a mattress before and had no idea what I was doing. He broke it down for me. So I purchased the mattress in Martinsville, Virginia and I needed it in Inwood, West Virginia. But they could not deliver because the warehouse in Inwood is empty but he worked it out to get it as close to me as possible. It was painless.
When I picked up the mattress, the gentleman helped me load it up in the truck and we ratchet it down. I almost forgot the pillows and he reminded me about it. The customer service is outstanding, and I couldn’t be happier. The mattress has been exceeding my expectations in every way, because I only sleep two to three hours every night before I bought it. So far, it's been awesome and I'd recommend it to anybody.

I purchased a Tempur-Pedic Split King mattress. I was told delivery would be between 4-10 on a Saturday. This gave me enough time to take apart my footboard and headboard. I also gave away my current mattress. We were excited to get our new mattress. When it came to 9:30 and no call and no show, I texted my salesperson, who gave us his personal cell. I also called the home office, I left a message. So last night I spent the night on the couch! I feel I spent too much money ($8500) to be treated like this! It will take a lot for me to reverse this 1 star review.
UPDATED ON 11/16/2016: So we finally received delivery of our bed, after being blown off. With this bed sale we were told we would get free mattress covers and bed sheets. The delivery people brought the bed and covers. We were told that the sheets were shipped out. A week goes by and still no sheets. We've been in contact with the area manager and he kept pushing it off. After a week and half, the area manager calls to say he has to charge us for the sheets but we will get reimbursed back on original invoice. The sheets will then be shipped and take 24-48 hrs. It's now been 4 days no sheets and no invoice showing credit!! This shows we were never going to get the sheets as promised in order for them to sell the bed. This company is awful!!!

My mom was out at the state fair with my dad. She fell in love with Mattress Firm when she laid on it. She’s very pleased with it and she still makes her payments on it every month on time and she has no intentions of wanting to let it go. It's expensive but the quality is really good. The motor on the massage aspect tends to run down, but other than that, the mattress is still in good condition. I've been wanting to get one myself, too.

A friend of mine had told me that she'd gotten such good service from Mattress Firm. However, I'm not happy. They switched the mattress and I got one of those contraptions that raise and lower me. And it doesn't work right. If I had demo'd it in the store, I wouldn't have bought it. The salesman kept saying that I had 120 days. But they tell me that I can't return it. I just should have gotten the box spring. So I'm fighting with them. I have called and done everything I can. And now, the salesman says he has to move it up to the next level. And they're supposed to get back to me today. I would never recommend them.

I always go by Mattress Firm and when I needed a mattress, I felt like going there and just see what they would say. They offered help when we walked in. They were very friendly and I liked them. I told them I didn’t want to spend a fortune and their rep took me to where I wanted to go. I bought the mattress and box spring in about 10 minutes and I was happy when I came out. Their rep was very, very nice. She told me to have something in between the mattress and the box spring and I would have never thought to do that. And when we went to pick it up, they were also very nice. I have no complaints whatsoever with that store. I will highly recommend them.

My son made a purchase from Mattress Firm so I also went with them. The first purchase I had with them was a mattress, and the second, which is the most recent one, was an adjustable bed frame. I ordered 2 mattresses with box springs to be delivered today between 10am and 7pm. I was told they would call in the morning with a shorter time frame of when they would arrive. I called 4 times today asking what my delivery window is. Each time I called the customer service person could not give me any info other than they see I should be getting a delivery today. Finally, 7 hours later, I was told on my 5th phone call that the order fell through the cracks and no mattresses would be delivered today. No one could figure that out in the past 7 hours?! I asked to speak with a supervisor and the CS rep would not put them on the phone and said I could not wait on hold for the supervisor. I got a refund and will never buy anything from them. Rude, thoughtless, arrogant service.

Mattress Firm's sales reps were good and went out of their way to do what they had to do. But the King size mattress I bought was a piece of garbage and had a lot of dead spots. It was not what they said it was. But the manager said, "Once it's out the door, it's out the door." I understand it was refurbished and was a floor model. I talked to somebody from their company and told him the same thing, "Oh, we’re gonna take care of it. We'll give you gift certificates." I didn't get anything.
I wouldn't recommend them to anybody after what I went through. I got an awful lot of connections in buying mattresses because we do all the rentals. I would have given them 48 houses but I didn't go back because they screwed me. I do rentable condos from Fort Lauderdale as far as Orlando, and they lost a lot of sales. They lost the Weston business and two buildings which have 708 units. And they also lost all the rentals we were doing that week. Learn from the experiences, and move to a new company.

It was convenient to get to Mattress Firm as it’s close to my house and their price seemed competitive. I hate buying mattresses because it's worse than buying a car. I did a lot of research ahead and wasn't trying to trip the guy up for anything but their sales rep named Joe was excellent, very honest and thorough. He did a very good job in explaining all the different types of mattresses because I wasn't sure what I wanted. Two men came to deliver the mattress and box spring frame and they were very good, professional and quick. They removed my old mattress and set up my new mattress. I like the bed a lot and it took a little while to get used to it but it's very comfortable. I would buy from Mattress Firm again because of their simple process overall.

We purchased a mattress, box spring and frame on 10/8/16 with delivery scheduled for 10/18/16. When the delivery arrived, the box springs were not included. I had to call the store about 4 times before anyone answered and was told they were back ordered and I was getting them 10/19/16. They didn't arrive and I started calling the store again. Again, it took numerous tries before someone answered and honestly he was rude. I was also using chat and found that they were never scheduled to be delivered.
On the 19th, I got a call from the warehouse who said the box springs were damaged and I would get them 10/27. The store said I would get them 10/28. So 4 delivery dates of me waiting around for no one to show. So, today is the 28th and I was told by the warehouse that there was no delivery ticket and they were not coming. So again I started to call the store, no one answers the phones. I had to go into the store and they have scheduled it for 10/30. I have been lied to and spoken to very rudely. This was by far one of the worst experiences in customer service ever for me.

Visited two stores, found sleep consultants, Katie ** and Scott ** at both stores very competent and knowledgeable about products offered. Asked pertinent questions to determine our use of prospective buy. Again, at both stores they SC recommended the three products that most closely matched our requirements and demonstrated each, allowing us to choose which we preferred. The buying experience was great but that was only the beginning of a very good experience. The delivery personnel were very courteous and put down, literally a red carpet outside the door and wore booties so as to not track debris into our home. The set-up was quick with all of the wrapping removed. Great job!

I've used Closet World before and I like them. Recently, I had them do a garage wall that's 20 feet long and 8 feet tall. The designer was great but made a terrible mistake. The design was good but her elevations were off, which caused the closet in the garage to be off. There were two mistakes and I allowed one mistake to go, and merely adjusted it so that it worked, although I didn't like it. If it were in the house, the designer would have to do the entire wall again. However, the other mistake was that the closet was too big, so it wouldn't fit in the space and the installers had to come back to redo it, and it has cost a lot of materials for their company to do that. Moreover, my job was in Oxnard and they had to drive 150 miles to get there. Other than that, the installation guys were great, and everything else was good.

Mattress Firm has the best price for the money. The sales rep gave a couple of different options that would fit what I was looking for and I got a full size mattress. I'm not as happy with the Bunkie Boards, but that's okay. It's just thicker than I thought it would be. We'd put bed rails on my kid's bed, and these rails had made dents in the Bunkie Boards, so it's not well-made. But as far as my experience, it was just what I was expecting.

There's a Mattress Firm on every corner and we purchased a memory foam from them. The quality is great but it's expensive. Their sales rep was fantastic and we like her a lot. She managed to keep our kids entertained while we shop and really feel like we were able to concentrate on buying the mattress. This is my 2nd mattress buying experience at this location. Nicholas was my salesperson and I went back to him because of the great customer service. He arranged with 0% financing and arranged for the delivery of the product. They are very efficient at this location and as a Nurse, I am extremely picky about customer service! Once again I received timely and great service. He did not pressure me to get something I did not want. The location of the store is in Zhills and would not hesitate to recommend!

Mattress Firm was the nearest store in the area so I tried them out. The sales representative was good, but the delivery team was horrible. They couldn't get the mattress in, and were very rude. I got out of neck surgery and they wouldn't take the box springs down and put the new box springs up because they said they were worried about damage. They didn't know the same size bed was up there. So then they had to reschedule and come drop it off and get me the split mattress springs. After that they refused to take down the old box springs because they said they couldn't figure out how to get it down. I was stuck with my old box spring upstairs. My whole experience sucked, I hated every minute of it, and I would never tell anybody to go to Mattress Firm.

We purchased from Mattress Firm before and they have great customer service. This time, I got a Tempur-Pedic, the new one with the cool breeze. Their sales reps were always great. They're very helpful and not pushy. Their delivery team is great too and very friendly. They put everything up right away and showed me how to use everything I needed for my bed. It's a great bed. We thought about getting one before, but my husband didn’t want it because it was hot and Tempur-Pedic didn’t have the cool gel yet. Now that they do, we purchased one and it's a nice cool mattress. They also pointed out their selection of mattress and pillow covers which I'm glad I purchased because its tensile fabric stays cooler with the special mattress and pillow cover.

We went into the store and found out it was the Columbus Day sale. A friendly and courteous salesman worked with us and told us about the finance program. We were hooked and wanted to move forward. We purchased a king size mattress and two box frames. Once product and delivery were set up, it was pretty much smooth. We also got a mattress cover that the rep put in there, and gave us instructions to wash it. He really took care of us. Satisfaction with the product, so far, has been amazing. It's my second time buying the mattress, and this has been the best experience, so far.

My daughter had bought from Mattress Firm last year and I know how satisfied she was. My son and his family also bought from them. So, I decided to go there as well and their sales rep was very nice, showed me several different products, and explained everything to me. I bought a queen size mattress and springs for my one bedroom and a full size for my guest bedroom. During the delivery, the two little guys had to haul these mattresses through the garage and upstairs because I lived on the fifth floor. They were very good, neat and polite. As for the bed, I was glad that I didn't have to take a running leap into the bed since it wasn't that high. I was on vacation in several places and had the bed so high and I was looking for a stool to get up on there.

The sales representative was excellent, very consultative, engaging, and listened to my request on what I was looking for. Then I bought a Sealy Posturepedic from Mattress Firm and the quality was great. The delivery team came in and they put those little booties on their shoes. I had already taken my old mattress off because I gave that to a friend, so they got it set up and thanked me. I signed the document and they were in and out in 15 minutes. They were efficient. Later I found out that I could have gotten the same mattress for a couple of hundred dollars cheaper elsewhere. I considered taking it back, but I've slept on it so I just kept it. It would be great if they did competitive pricing but then it was a positive experience with them.

Purchased Cozzia Fortitude Massage Chair and extended warranty. Delivered on Oct 7th. Contacted Mattress Firm and was referred to service company. We made contact with service on Oct. 17th. Service will not respond and we are unable to re-establish contact with them. Chair is defective with some components not functioning. Needs repair or replacement. Be aware that in our experience, service may be questionable. Be sure that everything works before the setup crew leaves. Do not rely on service to take care of anything.

The Hampton & Rhodes mattress that I bought from Mattress Firm is good, and the cost is reasonable. My experience with the sales rep was good too. I had stopped in a couple of weeks beforehand for prices, and she was very helpful. Then, when I went back in, she remembered me and was able to help me pick out the right mattress. Me and my wife bought an adjustable Simmons Beautyrest Black bed for $900 at Mattress Firm. Dianne, their sales rep, was really good. She was patient and walked us through. She actually switched the mattress on one of the adjustable frames. I was pretty impressed. Their product exceeded my expectation. I have horrible back pains and the combination of the mattress with the adjustable frame makes a huge difference. It's been excellent, which is good.

Mattress Firm has really great reviews online. We bought a Tempur-Pedic mattress, and it's been okay. The reason we got it is my husband has really bad back problems. We've done the 30-day thing to see how we liked it, and he's still having back problems. So we're going to go and exchange it, and try to find something different. The sales rep was great, though. He answered everything and gave personal experiences.

I had a friend that I helped to finance for her to purchase a Mattress Firm bed and that's how I knew about Mattress Firm. I purchased a queen-size mattress and it's been great. On the other hand, there's a lot of off-gassing which I don't love, but that's not a Mattress Firms deal, it's the people who make the mattress. The men who delivered it were super nice. I don't really know how they get people like that, some accolade with their work because it might be a miserable work if one is working on Saturday, bringing mattresses all the way to another city in an hour-and-a-half drive, in football traffic. But they came in and set it up and were super clean. They did all the things they were supposed to do on the little checklist, and even helped me put the bed skirt on, which they did not have to do at all. It was an easy, clean experience, and the price was good, too.

We’ve bought from Mattress Firm before so we went to them again for a mattress and a bed frame. Their sales rep very thoroughly answered our questions. The first mattress was a little firm so we returned it and we're fine with the next. Their drivers were very efficient, friendly and they knew their jobs very well. They were very clean, too. Mattress Firm seemed to have good quality mattresses and a decent price. They're also everywhere in my town. Their salesperson was personable, positive and helpful. I asked him a lot of questions and he showed me which one I was looking for. I lay on the bed and told him if I liked it or not. In the end, I bought two mattresses and had them delivered.
The delivery wasn't truly on time but I called them to find out and they let me know they were behind due to the weather in the area. We were expecting a hurricane so I wasn't completely shocked by any delay that day. There was a lot of rain in the area and I wondered if the mattresses would even get delivered but it worked out. Their guys were courteous when they got there. We're still breaking the mattresses in to make sure they're good for us. So far, we're happy with them.

Well, I would have given it more stars if when I call the 800 number it wouldn't tell me to contact my local store. First of all I stopped at a location that was formerly Sleepy's to exchange a mattress that I purchased when it was Sleepy's and the sales associate was very rude and insisted that I have to pay a fee for exchanging that mattress... even though I got it when it was not Mattress Firm and it was within the time allowed to exchange it. I left the store. Called Sleepy's and they told me that Mattress Firm should be honoring the terms of the Sleepy's purchase. So I did my research online and found a bed that was on sale for around the same price as the mattress I needed to exchange. I went to another Mattress Firm location to exchange the bed.
The sales associate there was great. However told me I couldn't get the sale price advertised online which didn't make any sense to me. It wasn't like it was a new customer discount or anything. It was a "sale" price! So I ended up having to pay MORE for the bed. The next day I called the 800 number listed on the website and there is no customer service whatsoever! They tell you to call your local store. Well the local store didn't help. So I decided to try the online chat. Someone said hello and how can they help... after explaining my grievances there was no response whatsoever! I waited 5 min... types "hello?" a few times... nothing. I miss the store when it was Sleepy's. At least they have a customer service and they put the customer first.

I had called another company and they were really giving me the runaround. I needed a mattress and a box spring and I happened to call Mattress Firm and they said they could deliver it the following day. Their sales representative was very friendly. It was also the professionalism of the salesperson that spurred me on to continue the conversation so that I could purchase the products. So that was fantastic. I got the mattress, box spring, and the base. The delivery men who were young and professional came and they said that they would take the old mattress which was a blessing because the other mattress company I called initially told me I have to dispose off the mattress myself. It's my first time purchasing from Mattress Firm and it won't be my last. It was a very peaceful and relaxing experience with them. They're excellent.

We had gone to Sleepy’s, which we had great experience with, and I had bought my children each a new bed from there. Then we had gone back and they had switched hands being Mattress Firm, but everybody was perfectly nice and we ended up buying one. We got the mattress in the soft spring and the sales rep was wonderful and went above and beyond. The delivery team was also wonderful, very polite and professional, and they were very quick and cleaned up.

Everything was great. The only issue that I had was the mattress pad didn't fit and Mattress Firm said it was not returnable. It cost me an extra $119 that I didn't need to spend and the pad is still sitting in the box. The bed was fine but the extras that I was sold were a complete waste of money.

I googled mattresses in New Orleans area and I found one close to me. I went to Mattress Firm, I had been and bought in that place before. The sales rep was friendly and easy to work with. I got what I needed, popped delivery, and it was good. They delivered the bed the next day and were on time. I bought it for my daughter so I haven't slept on it but when I have laid on it, it's very comfortable. She's pleased and happy so I'm happy. Everybody did a good job.

I've purchased from Mattress Firm a few years back. The people that work there looked like they're trained really good and they're really helpful. And with the recent purchase the guy that helped me out last would definitely be a good one to train people. I went there at the last minute and he stayed where some people would want to run out the store. He didn't just try to give me whatever to get me out of the door or to get a commission. He had me try all of them to see how they felt and the mattress that I bought exceeded my expectations. It was excellent customer service.

I've previously purchased from Mattress Firm. I got another mattress and their sales reps were always courteous or I wouldn't have gone back. My daughter has had her bed for two years and isn't happy with it already and it's supposed to last eight years. But I have been very happy with my mattress. I had really a bad experience with the delivery company that came out. He walked into our house and delivered the mattress. Then he told me that he’s infested with bed bugs and that his wife was all too bit up and he’s suing Mattress Firm. He also asked if I know a good lawyer. He wanted to give me a heads up and I was not impressed with that. I’ve been worrying for weeks about having bed bugs. He's also supposed to put the pads on his feet because I just shampooed the rug and he came walking in without it. Another thing was that I paid way too much for this mattress and frame. I went to a furniture liquidation place and I could’ve bought the same thing for $1,500 there, and I’m paying over $4,000. I know they’re there to make money, but I think that’s ridiculous. Supposedly, they talked to a supervisor and I was supposed to be called directly by someone, and I’ve never been called.

The bed was manufacturally defective. The top of the mattress was not pulled taut, and instead of re-cutting it, they used it and folded it over and then just put the sewing machine right across the top of it and sewed it down. So there was literally a pocket where my foot would go - it's about two and half to three inches there. And, unfortunately, the gentlemen who delivered the mattress spoke no English. So I couldn’t explain to them it's damaged. All they kept doing is holding their hand up saying, “Call. Call.” So I wrote on the receipt “damaged” and then I said, “Do you take it with you?” He says, “No, no,” and they kept pushing their hand to me saying, “You keep. You keep.” So when they left, I didn’t feel comfortable about it because I just couldn’t communicate with them.
So I got in the car and drove to Mattress Firm. And when I got there, I spoke to a girl and told her what happened. She said, “Oh, you should have refused it.” I said, “I tried to. They wouldn’t take it. They said, "No. Call, call." So I wrote it on the form.” And she said, “Oh, geez. Well, you know what? We have had a couple of complaints because that’s a brand new delivery company and they’re predominantly Hispanic and some of them don’t speak English.” So I said, “Well, that’s not good because I’m speaking English, and I live in Florida and this is America so I would expect them to have someone who spoke English.” I was a little upset by that.
Secondly, she called her area manager because I said I want to get it replaced and get a new one. She said, “Absolutely.” So the area manager said she would waive the pick up fee because it was a manufacture defect and not to worry about, but enjoy it for the next 120 days. And before that 120 days, then I can call and have it picked up, but make sure I like it and it’s the right mattress. Now mind you, I had not slept on it yet because it just got delivered and Mattress Firm is only five minutes from me so I just drove there. And when we went to sleep on it that night, it was really firm. I said, “Wow! This just does not feel like the mattress I laid on in the showroom." And my husband said, “Yeah! It does feel a lot different.” And I said, “Oh, this is definitely not the mattress that we bought. I don’t know what’s different here.”
So I laid on it for a couple of days and then I called over there. And he said, “Oh, I don’t know what’s up. Well, just keep laying on it. Maybe it’ll get a little softer for you.” And I said, “Well, oookay. We’ll try it.” And he goes, “I saw the notes here. I see what happened. So you know you have 120 days. So just enjoy yourself.” I said, “Okay.” And then he explained to me that if in that 120 days it’s not the mattress I wanted because there was no delivery fee, I could choose another mattress, and the credit could be put to it. So we kept the mattress for 30 days. So we physically went to the store in 30 days, and the gentleman who sold us the mattress and his store manager were there. So this was a new store manager because apparently the other store manager got transferred from the day I was in there buying it.
I told the gentleman that was there, “Listen. You know it’s been 30 days and I didn’t want this to go past. This is $1,800. It’s a lot of money to spend on a mattress, and I wanna make sure that you've got it in the system because you guys have given me nothing in writing. I have nothing in writing from you stating that you’re gonna pick this up, I'm getting the credit or anything. And I don’t feel comfortable about the whole situation. I just don’t feel comfortable.” And the manager said, “Oh, yes. Don’t worry. It’s fine. We’ll take care of it.” And I said, “Oh, okay. And by the way, I’m gonna go lay on this bed over here.”
So I went and laid on the bed that I had bought from the store -- not the bed I got delivered. I said, “Oh, my goodness. This is luxury. I love this bed. It feels so good. This is what I ordered, but what I got is not this bed.” And the manager turned around and goes, “You got the Brick.” And I looked at him and I said, “Excuse me?” He said, “Yeah. They made this bed wrong.” I said, “This sample floor model I’m lying on?” He goes, “Yeah, yeah, yeah. They don’t know what they put in it. They don’t quite know, but what it says is it’s the bed you got.” I said, “Okay. But that’s not the bed I got.” He goes, “Yeah, I know.” I said, “How long have you known then?” He goes, “Oh, I've known awhile.”
I told the manager, “Why in God’s name would you keep this bed on the floor? How many of these mattresses have you sold to people?” And he said, “A couple.” I said, “A couple, a few, a lot?” And he goes, “Well, a few.” I said, “And have you been getting complaints?” And Robert, the other guy that sold us the bed, said, “We’ve gotten a few.” And then the manager looked at him like “Shut up”. So I thought something’s going on here. And I said, “You know what? I am demanding, or I will write your company, you need to get this bed off the floor. That is wrong on every angle.” And he said, “I know. I know. It’s already off. We’re already getting it off the floor. I’ve already gotten a thing put in for it.”
And, of course, I didn’t believe a word he was saying at this point. I just looked at him and said, “Well, I want to know that this is going to be okay.” And then they said, “Well, you actually have 120 days. You misunderstood. It’s not 30 days.” I said okay. So when they showed me the 120-day thing, I went home. And I slept on the bed for almost 120 days. Then I went into the store and I told them the bed is way too hard for me, and it’s not what I wanted. I want that bed that they had. And he said, “Oh, well, we don’t have that bed out anymore.” And I said, “Oh, you took it off the floor?” And he said yes.
I asked what’s next, and he pointed me to another model. So I laid on it and it was comfortable and I was thinking of getting it. Then they said, “Oh, we’re gonna have to charge you the $79 delivery fee and then we’re gonna have to charge you $300, $400.” And I said, “Well, wait a minute. This bed’s on sale for like $1,700, $1,800. I paid $1,800.” He goes, “Yeah. But you got your deal at a special.” I said, “What!” So I ended up telling them that "I'm just gonna go ahead and get the refund today because the 120 days expires tomorrow and I don’t wanna take any chances.”
Then they said I don’t get 120 days, and I only get 30 days to try this new bed out. And if I don’t like it, then I'm gonna have to pay the $79 fee to return it. I replied, “Well, he told me I would have 120.” He goes, “Well, you don’t because you used your whole 120.” So I decided that I’ll just return the bed and then buy a new one, and then my 120 starts. He told me that that’s trying to bilk the system and he can't allow me to do that. He was the worst sales manager that I've ever met. I told him that I don’t feel comfortable about the whole situation, so I’m gonna get a refund. That’s been over six weeks ago, and I haven’t got a credit yet for my $1,800. I’m telling almost every person I can that I would never go there again.

We bought our last mattress from Mattress Firm. We looked at other places and it seemed to have the best selection and price overall. Plus the 12 months that we have to pay it off helped in choosing them again. I liked one type of mattress and my husband liked another type. The guy from Mattress Firm was very informative and helped us make a decision. He helped us find something in between. I like the mattress, but my husband's not been as happy with it. It's not as comfortable for him as it is for me. I sleep better but he still doesn't. We're not sure what type of mattress we really need to help him out.

Mattress Firm is right down the street from our office. We purchased four mattresses and box springs. The sales rep was extremely knowledgeable and great in and out. We were there for maybe 30 minutes and it was perfect. The product is very decent and we're happy with it. Everything up until the delivery was a great experience. We purchased the mattresses here in Dallas but installation was for our client in Houston. We were told there would be no problem and it would be seamless.
When the installers were setting up one of the beds together, they told me that they don't have all the parts for the frame, which were a couple of screws. They said that I had to call the office in Dallas and get them to fix it for me. They put that monkey on my back and it's the last thing I needed. I needed them to take responsibility for their product and the fact that they aren't a third party company, not having a toolbox in their truck with miscellaneous parts like screws was a little bit beyond me. So I was not happy 'cause then I had to call my guy in Dallas and then Mattress Firm couldn't even take care of it that day. They had to bring the screws the next day. Thank God we were still in Houston and we had movers helping us with other furniture and they were able to take care of the problem for us. So I just cancelled the delivery the next day.

The sales representative was knowledgeable, she wasn't a high-pressure. She showed us what was available. Of course, she started on the higher end but we're not looking for that. We were looking for something for our mountain cabin. We slept on the bed for four nights, and slept good so far.

I waited in line for 30 minutes last afternoon, evening to be connected to a warranty service specialist for my defective King size Mattress (invoice #**). As you can see from the invoice receipt that this King mattress is only 3 years old and to would like to have it replaced as it has a defect on the left side. I was told I would have to pay $25 for a kit and $40 for an inspectors fee. I have pictures of the defect that can be sent to you. That was not accepted by the person on call and she said I would have to buy a kit. That is not acceptable and needs a resolution.
I disagree with the statement to pay both the above fees when it can be simply shown that the piece is defective via the photos. Else I can simply return the product for a refund due to the defect and is very simple. Please let me know how to proceed without the fees and just the photographs. Please convey this to your senior managers and management for an immediate resolution. I will also forward this to the Sealy mattress company as a sample of a bad product.

The Mattress Firm bed felt so good when I laid down on it especially in the store, however, there's a big well where I am sleeping in it. We haven't had it very long and though I sleep on one side, I only weigh 120 pounds, so that's bizarre. My back problem also seems to be not getting better. I don't want to be flipping my mattress every couple of months also the woman at the store said that mattresses that can be flipped over weren't made anymore. She also said I should lay a yard stick across the well then take another yard stick and measure the deepest point of the well and call her back. That was the weirdest thing. It was over $400 so I asked her if I'd get a new one or if I have to keep rotating it.
Their store had a very clean interior and the sales rep was very friendly. She spoke highly of the one that she wanted me to buy. My granddaughter was with me and the rep let her try out the mattresses going back and forth and up and down. She was really nice and I was very impressed, but the product failed. I wish I had tried out more mattresses. It's hard to lie down on mattresses in a store and say that I'll take this one because I have to sleep on it for a while to know. The mattress we had before was a lot firmer.

We purchased a King-sized bed box spring and we like it so far. I didn’t realize how expensive it has gotten these days. It's been awhile since we bought one, but the quality is good although a little expensive than others. I went in on two different days in the store and both reps I worked with were great, knowledgeable, very friendly and easy to talk to. Delivery was quick. We'll buy from Mattress Firm again.

Mattress Firm's zero percent interest is very appealing to us senior citizens who are on a fixed income. It's helpful to not have to pay all those extra interest charges. We bought two beds - a cal king for our bed and a queen for my guest room. The sales lady was very sweet and nice. She had us test everything at the store which was great. She took her time and didn't rush us. She answered whatever questions we had. The only issue that we had was we weren't sure that we had a regular king or cal king. So she told us to measure when we got home which we did.
I called her back with the measurements and she said it should be fine. They delivered a regular king which was too short so we had to wait an extra two weeks for them to re-deliver in our area to get the cal king. That was disappointing. Other than that, she was great. I know she's doing the best she could. She had other customers waiting for her while she was helping us. I know how that is because I do retail so I understand.
When I spoke to a lady in the store the next day and told her that we had the wrong size mattress, she was going to fix us up with something for our inconvenience. I told her I didn't know what I would want so we didn't even bother with that. We just figured we got what we needed so we're satisfied. We're not greedy people, and we're not out to rip anybody off. We just hope that they would be as good to us as we're hoping that we're gonna be to them as customers and be there if we have any issues. But so far, I'm happy. I like our bed. It's comfortable. My husband recently had a stem cell transplant earlier in the year so we needed to get him something that was more comfortable for him to sleep on because our bed was about 13 years old so it was well past due for a new one. I was grateful that we were able to get it.
During the first delivery, the guys were very quick and efficient. I like the fact that they put on booties to come in the house. They were very courteous as far as taking care of our property. They were very pleasant gentlemen so I was happy with that. The second time that they came and brought the correct king, I wasn't home. But my husband said they came in, took off the old set and put on the new set. He was very happy with their service as well.
We got mattress covers to go with the bed and they're hot. They're like a bath towel material. We live out in the desert in Arizona. By the time you put that on your bed and then put a sheet on, it's hot. If I had a different type mattress pad that was more of a cotton cover, it probably would have been better but the sales lady said it's really important to keep those covers on to keep the warranty on the mattress. But overall, it was a good experience. The store was nice and clean. Everything was quick and it didn't take a lot of time and effort.

We got a Beautyrest and the sales rep was knowledgeable and gave us a good deal price-wise. However, there was a rip in the mattress when it was delivered and as soon as we had notified him he took care of it and they delivered. So, we've no problems there and they were friendly.

After a rough start with the customer service department. I was contacted by a representative of Mattress Firm as a result of filing the claim on this website. Stenio Joseph was polite, understanding and extremely helpful. As advised, I went to a local store and selected another mattress from a different brand as I was unwilling to take another chance on the same mattress. I contacted Studio with the item number and the new mattress was delivered yesterday. All fees and charges were waived. Within 90 days of taking delivery on my Beauty Rest mattress it began to sag. I had to prepay $39.95 for an inspector to come out. Then I get a self inspection kit in the mail. Self inspection is $24.95. When I called their inspection service I was hung up on. When I tried to call back to their customer service the hold time is 25 minutes. I have to sit on hold to try to get a credit back to my account? Why am I even having to pay for an inspection when the mattress is barely 90 days old? I had to sit on hold for 25 minutes even to file the claim in the first place. This is a poor excuse for customer service.

We bought a mattress for our bedroom and a box spring and a mattress for our guest room, one is firmer and the other one is plush. The first Mattress Firm store we saw wasn't good ass nobody said hello. The second store was great from service to delivery. The young lady was very professional and friendly, and the gentleman that was also in the store was very good as well. My wife and I were very impressed with both of them. The delivery people did great. They were very professional, they came on time, called us and said they'd be here in 10 minutes. Then we realized that we got a full box spring, which made the bed really high on the bed frame. So, they gave us a number to call. We called that and the store guy said they'll come out the next day and exchange it. They brought us back a smaller box spring, and it worked out great.

I needed a mattress and Mattress Firm was the first place we passed. The sales rep was good. However, the mattress they delivered had a rip in it. We were there with limited time because it's an out-of-town property so now we have to keep that. I have to call them the next time to deliver the unripped mattress but they only deliver on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays to that area. That's a little bit aggravating because I don't know when I'm gonna be able to go back. They should've looked at the mattress before they let it go out the door. Maybe it got ripped while it was in the process of being delivered. But other than that, everything was fine.

The manager of the store that we went to was good. He knew what he was talking about and he was a good salesman. My previous mattress was a piece of junk while Mattress Firm has good quality. Their bed is firm and my back doesn't hurt when I wake up.

The ONLY reason I did not give them a 5-star review here is because I had to go through Consumer Affairs in order to get a resolution. I still do not have a written warranty on my product.

Purchased a mattress for our guest bedroom. After the first use, I was removing bedding and the stitching came out of the side. They did not supply a written warranty, their website doesn't state the warranty and, after being on hold for 45 minutes, I tried telephoning sales, which transferred me to the non-existent customer service department automated system that very promptly disconnected me 3 times. My husband was able to get in touch with someone at the store who told us that defects in workmanship are NOT covered and if we want to put in a warranty claim, we need to pay a fee. WHAT?!?!?

We bought our mattress at the WI State fair. We were told if it ever goes on sale they honor the price and will refund by 10%. Well not even a month later Mattress Firm put it on sale themselves. I went online and sent an email which states they will respond within 24 hours. No response. After digging I finally got my salesman's name and number which the delivery people gave us. Texted him 9/8/16, said I will get a refund - everything has been processed but takes about 3 weeks.
Here it is 10/13/16 and still nothing. I messaged him on 10/11/16, said he would contact corporate and get back to me. Nothing again. I messaged him today for a number and got "sorry I don't have a number but I put the refund in." I am ready to just return the whole thing or ask for the price guarantee or your purchase is paid in full. $8000.00 is a lot of money we are talking about.
I did also submit another email this week and still get no return emails. Everyone we talk to says "you need to contact your salesman or we can't help you if it was bought at a fair." Again give me my money back and I will go buy it somewhere that I can speak to someone. Here is the quote on their website... I am just trying to get their pricing which shouldn't be too hard. I will never again purchase outside of a store when you can't get any customer service.

We saw Mattress Firm's clearance sale sign and I needed to get a box spring. The box spring that I bought is great. It helped my mattress feel better. We told my mother-in-law about it, so she came and we bought her a whole new bed. The sales rep helped us find what we needed and he was very courteous. We had to go pick it up in Round Rock, but he got it reserved. He even offered if we want it delivered. We got good customer service from him. He was really good at what he was doing I think he deserves a raise or even possible management.

I purchased a mattress set in Burleson Texas 12/2015. I was told I had one year to return the mattress if I wasn't happy. The mattress wasn't better than the one I had so I returned the mattress set on 8/23/2016 and they picked it up from my home free from stains rips and odor. The deliverymen inspected the mattress and took it away. I was told my money would be refund in 2 weeks, two weeks went past no refund. I went back to the store. The salesman told me it will be 4 weeks which has now passed. I have made several calls to Mattress Firm customer service and I'm still being told that the refund was issued to the finance company Progressive Leasing. Progressive says since I have already paid off the set Mattress Firm will refund my money. At this point this is has been an on-going back and forth trying to get my $920.13 and being told the refund was processed. WELL IF IT HAS BEEN PROCESSED WHY DON'T I HAVE MY CHECK.

I called to the Mattress Firm Warranty Claim on Friday 10/07/2016 and the wait time was 50 min. I put my number to call me back. When the Customer Service called me back then she asked me am in front of the mattress? I said and she said "call us back when you in front of the mattress". Submitting a claim has nothing to do with you to be in front of the mattress. I called again on Monday 10/10/2016 so submit a warranty claim but nothing has happened yet. I already paid $40 to inspect my mattress but the whole process takes so long to issue a warranty claim. The mattress is very uncomfortable and has issues but Mattress Firm doesn't care about the customer. Mattress Firm needs to speed up the process to act on warranty claim.

After sleeping on my mattress for a couple of weeks, it sagged so badly that it was very uncomfortably and made my back ache. After the 30 required days, I took it back to the store for the guarantee even though I was not happy with the fact that they were going to keep a "processing fee" of $149. When I got to the store with the mattress, they told me that I was not allowed to exchange it or return it there, but that I needed to fill out a warranty form from their website. I did so, but never heard back from them. I tried chatting online but was only sent a form letter that did not help at all.
Today I called and after a very long wait I was told that an exchange for the Sleep Happy Guarantee should have been set up through the store, but that now the 120 days has passed (as I was waiting to hear back about the warranty). I was then told that I could try the warranty process, but that it would cost me money to get the mattress checked out and that if it passed as defective that I could only get a credit (I don't want a credit as I replaced the mattress already).
So here are my complaints: the mattress they sold me was pretty terrible, the store was very unclear and unhelpful about the return process, I never heard back about the warranty paperwork I sent in. I got no help when I tried to solve the problem by chatting online, I had to wait a really long time to speak with a real person since the chat was unsuccessful. I am now being told that I can only get a credit on the mattress instead of any sort of refund. A $149 processing fee is ridiculous. Charging to have a product checked for a manufacturer's warranty is also ridiculous.

The experience buying the bed was fine. I had gotten one mattress and I went ahead and swapped it out because it was too soft. It felt like Goldilocks and the Three Bears. So, I got the Lexington Plush and after a week my back hurts 10 times worse. It's not good and I'm not that happy with it. I went back to Mattress Firm where I bought it but I had already done the swap-out and exchanged. So, I was stuck at that point. I was told that I couldn't do anything, I couldn't return it. I called customer service and they said they're going to try to call the district manager. I might have a defective mattress and see if we could swap it out. This was a week ago and I haven't heard anything. I was gonna swap it out for the Kelburn. I'm stuck with a $2,000 mattress.

Our salesman, Mike, was really informative and helpful. He didn't push the sale and he really went out of his way to slow things down. Sean is a combat veteran so sometimes, it can get a little bit longer for him to connect the dots with things we don't fully understand especially with a big purchase. We wanted to make sure he understands it all and Mike really took the time to sit down with him and allow him to ask questions. He was with us for an hour and a half and he allowed us to shop around and come back. Mike is top notch. Also, the Tempur-Pedic that we purchased has been great. We've been sleeping better and it's definitely worth the purchase.

I was interested in the Beautyrest mattress so I decided to buy from Mattress Firm. We got the mattress and the frame to hold it. Their sales rep was very helpful and very nice. Now, we're getting used to it and we're sleeping well on it but but the mattress itself is very heavy. It's hard to do any lifting on it. On 08/18/16 we had our bridgewater mattress with adjustable base delivered. However, due to work and such we may have been home to sleep on the new mattress 3 full weeks out of less than 90 days and we do not like the mattress. We enjoy firm beds, but this just hasn't been comfortable, at all. We both wake up sore and seems more tired than when we went to bed. On the verge of avoiding going to bed as long as we can when we are home. I called our salesman earlier this week around 09/07/16, left a phone message and never got a callback. (I left 2 phone numbers in fact!) On 09/09/16 my boyfriend went into the store but he never really got an answer as to how to proceed returning it.
The company has the motto "Sleep happy or your money back". But from what I have read they don't really stand behind that. I have seen where we have to pay $25 to file a claim... Really? You want me to pay $25 to file a claim with you for a mattress we do not like? Sounds kind of crooked to me and then $149 to return in! So, you really don't stand behind your product or services, do you! I left another message this morning 09/11/16, we will see if we get a call today. We don't want an exchange, we want to return the mattress for a refund and be done with Mattress Firm. We are not happy at all in how this is playing out.
We do understand we are stuck with the base that literally has only been used 3 times so less than 5 min on the motor. Guess sometimes you have to bite the bullet and take a loss. Oh by the way... IT IS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A HOLD OF SOMEONE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE! You get referred back to your salesman. Just frustrated-very frustrated!

I wanted a firm mattress and understood Stearns & Foster was a good brand with a very stern mattress. When I walked into the store, the sales rep showed me a couple of things and got me hooked on that Beautyrest Black Hybrid. We ended up working on that deal. Then the manager stepped in and talked to me about an adjustable base that could lift the head and the feed. So I moved from a box spring to this adjustable one from Mattress Firm. Nobody got back with me regarding my delivery date, so I had to walk into the store, and then they got on top of it. They went above and beyond and I was very pleased with the team.
I also had an issue with my base making a noise because of the installation. The delivery guys were not able to build it up like it was supposed to. I was very pleased with the first group who came and delivered the mattress. But a young man from the second team did not treat me as a customer. When they brought the second base in, the young man did not speak to me. When they brought the second base in, he actually yanked it off the base. Then he started snapping pictures in my house without asking me. The other young man kept apologizing, but I was infuriated because this bed is an investment for me so he shouldn't have yanked or pulled anything off because they have flipping tools to be able to do that.
The people who handle delivery also did not send me a notification that tells me when they will come. But I addressed the store about this bad experience and that's when the automated system kicked in and I got a call after another to tell me if they're on their way and when they were 10 minutes away. Overall, the sales team did a great job and I would purchase from them again. And I'm very pleased with the mattress as well.

Mattress Firm had a huge Labor Day sale and they were selling memory foam beds for $300 off the original purchase. It came with a complimentary memory foam pillow as well. The guy that sold me the bed was a really nice guy and he knew what we has talking about. Then the delivery people helped me put the mattress up on my bed and move the furniture around. Customer service and their people are amazing. I thought the bed would be able to contour to my back really well but in the past week, it actually started hurting my back. I don't know if I'm just trying to adjust to this new bed, but I'm experiencing more pain and discomfort on my back now that I've slept on it. It's a soft, comfortable bed, but I'm waking up in pain. Other than that, the all-around service from Mattress Firm was absolutely fantastic.

Being tight on money, we decided to take advantage of a deal they had and got a Hampton & Rhodes HR 500 Queen sized bed, no frame, for $430. We both noticed right away that it seemed smaller than the Queen bed we had at our old house, so I measured it, not once, but 10 times, and even took pictures and sent them to their customer service lady we dealt with. A Queen on their site, Hampton & Rhodes site, and all other mattress sites all say a queen bed should be 60" X 80". Ours measured 58"X 77". We measured several times because it's rounded at the ends, so it's hard to get the exact size, but we went from 55" X 76", but in the pictures I sent I think I made them look longer and wider than in real reality.
It's also supposed to be 10.5" tall, and it's only 9.5" tall, but I don't care as much about that. Now I know that's not much, but a Full Sized Mattress is 54" X 75". It sounds to me like ours is closer to a full size bed. Our receipt says that we can report any problems within 48 hours, which we did. We also complained that the movers had ran into our outside door, ripping a hole in the bottom. None of this seemed to matter to Mattress Firm. In fact, they contacted us a day later saying that the measurements of the Mattress we purchased from them are close enough to a queen, so they're not going to do anything about it. That's like buying a V8 Camaro and finding out it's only a 6 cylinder, or buying a 55" TV and finding out it's only 52 inches.
These measurements don't seem like much, but it is when you're paying almost $500, expect to get a comfortable bed that two people can have room to move around and you never quite feel at peace. One, because you've been royally ripped off, and two, because being a tall person, my feet slightly come off the end of the bed. And those few inches of wideness we're missing, cause us to elbow each other a lot more than we used to when we had an actual Queen Sized Bed. I want everyone to know to never go there and do not trust them. There are hidden fees and it took almost two weeks before they delivered it, even charging us for that too. Believe me, I will not stop until they right the wrong that they have caused me. No one, especially a huge company should be allowed to get away with anything that isn't 100% ethical.

I bought a mattress online through the Mattress Firm site. It was $3680 and they charged me twice for my purchase! I called up the 800 number and because it was done online I was told that is a different company division and they had to help me because the 800 people did not have my order info. Chatted with someone online as was promised a manager would call me. Never did... second bill came and the charge is still there. I even emailed the person who I ordered the bed through and got no response... either she made money on two beds or doesn't care about charging me twice! I had to dispute it with the Mattress Firm Card I signed up for. Stay away from this company... they are too big with too many divisions selling the same product that are not working together. Hopefully Synchrony Bank who the CC is through can fix this because Mattress Firm doesn't care to!

Six weeks ago, I bought an iComfort Mattress through Mattress Firm. So far, we love it and it was worth it. Their sales rep was great and very helpful. The delivery team were nice, very quick and efficient. They went in, took out the old mattress and the old frame, set up the adjustable platform and put in the new mattress. However, they were short on the instruction on how to use the controller. Also, I can’t find my screws that went with the headboard. I thought they had put the screws back with the headboard but they hadn't. The headboard attachment finally came in last week because we had to buy extra for the frame to add from the platform to the headboard and that's when I found out about the screws. The whole customer service warranty process we had to go through was a total waste of time and frustration. Nobody was helpful.

I bought a twin mattress set, the box spring, and the frame from Mattress Firm because they have the best price. The sales rep was a deal closer. I appreciate the swiftness and that we put aside the friendliness to get down to the numbers as I’m all about the numbers. The highlight of my experience with them was the fact that I was able to get my mattress as soon as possible. They delivered it the very next day. I was also called 15 minutes before delivery, which was very convenient to see where I was in my day.
The mattress was also set up in minutes, moments even before I can actually answer any questions about anything. It was quite wonderful. They were out and clean. This is a great decision for my life and I’m happy with my bed. I have such high hopes about Mattress Firm in general that I’ve already directed my roommate to buy a mattress from Mattress Firm. He also bought a whole set from Mattress Firm after I purchased my bed.

We went to Mattress One across the street beforehand and the guy there was trying to pressure me into buying a mattress. There was one that I liked, and then he asked me if I'm going to pay it with either credit or cash since he said that I will be buying the mattress. I told him, "no" and then I walked into Mattress Firm and they were not pressuring at all. The staff was really friendly and the layout of the store figured out what each bed was with the color coordinating. The representative was incredible, nice and was very patient with me in me trying to figure out what I wanted. The best thing was that they're willing to work with pricing to make me happy and be able to purchase what I wanted. We bought a mattress and an adjustable bed frame from them. The delivery was good and I loved the mattress. I'm very happy.

I ride by the Mattress Firm store quite a bit, so I just stopped by to purchase two twin beds about a month ago. The store has a good environment and everybody seemed okay. Their sales rep was very straightforward and showed me a lot of my options that was available within my budget range. It was my first time to finance the mattresses and he took his time to walk me through it. He also showed me that there were two in the warehouse, but the warehouse called him and said they only had one in stock. I got one of them that day and the rep was supposed to call me when they got the other one on Monday. I told him what time I'd be available to call, but he didn't call so I had to call him to make sure I'd get my bed. It was frustrating because I was looking forward to having my bed that Monday. Other than that, I'm happy with what I've got. I like the quality and sleep a lot better with it.

I got a new mattress from our local Mattress Firm. Their sales rep should have had more knowledge about different types of mattresses for the way different people sleep. I told him I got a sore back but I'm a side sleeper, then he referred me to a hard mattress. I took it home and it was so hard I couldn't sleep on it. I had to sleep in my guest room. My doctor who's supposedly not a mattress expert knew that I'm a side sleeper so I should not have a hard mattress because it would hurt my hips and shoulders, and it did. That's when he said, "Try a plush because that's what most side sleepers use." Mattress Firm took back the mattress and got me a plush.

I didn’t know it was Mattress Firm at first until I went to the store. I thought it was still Sleepy’s until a guy explained to us about the name change. I got a mattress from Mattress Firm since their store was the closest one to my house. The mattress was a great product and really comfortable. The sales reps were good but my only problem is with the actual delivery and I can't figure out the logistics behind it. I wanted to pick the mattress up but the guy cannot figure out and assist me on how to pick the thing up. I spent $5000 but the only way I could buy it is if I agreed to the delivery. So he waived the delivery charges and made it get delivered. I said that I only can be there from this time to this time and if they can't make that work then no. I even told him when I get home from work. He said he could make it work but he just said anything to make the sale.
Then they screwed up twice. I got home and the delivery guy was there in my backyard knocking on my back window to see if I was home. It was extremely creepy and no one was there. I live about a mile from the place and it would have been way easier for me to pick it up than to deal with all these. Another feedback was he told me I'd get something in the mail about the payments but I got nothing yet and I don't even know who I owe the money to.

I bought a memory foam Sealy black hybrid which included the metal frame, the box spring, and a protector. The sales reps were knowledgeable but super aggressive and duplicitous. I was told that there was no room for negotiation or movement on the price but that turned out not to be the case. I started calling around to other Mattress Firms who offered me different prices. I called one Mattress Firm, they offered me a price that was $1,400 less than what I was told in one location. Then I called the second location and they told me they could do something in between those two other prices. By the time I called the third location, the person that I spoke to said that they knew what I was doing.
I ended up getting $1,700 less than Mattress Firm originally told me I would be able to get. Had I not been doing my due diligence as a customer, I would’ve gotten screwed out of that $1,700. At the end of the day, either offer a consistent price across all locations or don’t, but don’t talk bad to me when I’m doing the absolute best I can for myself as a consumer. Also, the delivery people who took away my old bed refused to take the metal frame with them, which meant that I had to pay to get somebody to come and pick that up. That made zero sense to me. Nobody during the sales process told me that that would be the case, so that was frustrating.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the product and it's certainly more comfortable. It has got cooling memory foam and is less noisy, which is good. I would recommend the product that I got, but I’d also recommend that people do what I did, which is call around to try to get the best possible price. I travel a lot and so I had a short amount of time in which to deal with this, and then I would have to get a bed delivered and maybe not like it. If Casper, Purple or any of these other companies had a retail shop where I could go try these things out before buying them, I would totally do that and definitely not go back to Mattress Firm.

They do a very good job with that. I like the way the store is laid out in terms of the different options that I can test out and lay on and not just like buying a mattress from a shelf or standing up on end. Mattress Firm is close to us and we've already purchased three mattresses from them before, so we decided to buy a reclining Beautyrest mattress from them. We thought that after we got up, the bed's soft, round coils would come back up, but it never did come up where my husband’s head and body is. Still, the mattress was really nice.

I spent close to $3,000 on a mattress and adjustable frame. I haven't had the mattress for 2 years and the side wall collapsed. I'm not even able to put a fitted sheet on it the side is bulging so bad. I spent an extra $400 on a base warranty and called to file a claim on my mattress since I was told there was a manufacturer's warranty on this. After spending 20 minutes on the phone, they told me I purchased an "outlet" product, which is final sale and voids the warranty. When purchased I was told they could save me money by offering me the mattress I was interested in because they had one on clearance. I was told it was a final sale but never that it was void of warranty. I would have never purchased something without a warranty (hence why I spent $400 on one for the base). I'm now stuck with a defective mattress that I'm still paying on. Won't do business here again.

I got a very good deal from Mattress Firm. Their staff members were professional and knew what they were doing. The sales reps were very knowledgeable with their products and stood by their word. We had bought from Mattress Firm many years ago. We were one of the victims of the flood in Louisiana so we had to buy a simple air mattress until we can get our home back in order. We went back to Mattress Firm and they gave us the 15% off for flood victims, which was a great help at that time. Then recently we again purchased a mattress from them. The bed feels real good and it was nice to get back on an actual mattress. In fact, when we buy another mattress for our home, we'll go back and get a king next time for our bedroom because we just bought a queen.
Their sales rep was very nice and helpful. We bought the bed and two days later, they delivered it to the house. It worked out really well. We bought what they had in stock and whatever they had that felt the best to lay on at the time. The delivery team were really nice too. They brought the bed in and we set it up because they were out of the bed frame. So, I had to go to a different Mattress Firm to get the bed frame. It'll be two weeks by Thursday since we've been sleeping on it and it seems to be doing good.

Aside from the mattress I needed, Mattress Firm also gave me a frame. I put it in my spare bedroom as sometimes my kids stay with me and they need a good bed to sleep on. The people at Mattress Firm were very nice and courteous. It was a good experience.

We purchased two adjustable beds from Mattress Firm at 3135 Columbia Blvd Suite #102 and have had issues. Let me explain what happened. When I went into Mattress Firm and purchased two adjustable beds, I was somewhat coerced in buying the bamboo sheets for both beds and was told I could not return, exchange, or cancel them. I didnt really understand what the salesman was telling me when he said they could not be returned, exchanged, or cancelled because everything should be able to be returned if it turns out not to be what you are told.
When my wife came back to the store with me a few hours later and we tried to change the color of the sheets, we were told we could not. And of course when we were told that we would not receive the sheets that we had purchased with the bed delivery and would have to purchase additional sheets from another company, we were upset. Also on the sales order, it had the pickup date for the sheets from the store as 12/31/2030. To purchase the required sheets for our beds, we went to Bed Bath and Beyond. We needed to purchase sheets so we could sleep on the beds when they were delivered.
At that point we discovered how overpriced the sheets at Mattress Firm were that we were coerced to buy. I went back to the store and talked to the store manager, ** 321-631-0096, about having to buy the sheets (even though we just wanted a different color) and he told me the same thing that the salesperson did, “I could not return, exchange, or cancel them.” So then I asked for the Customer Service phone number which he gave me, 1-877-384-2903. When I called the Customer Service phone number, the phone was answered by an automated system. I answered the questions by pushing a number on the phone and the last response was to return to the store and resolve my problem which I cant do. The Mattress Firm store has rescheduled delivering our beds four times and we still dont know when we will get them.
Mattress Firm doesnt have a customer service number that you can call and talk to a real person to explain the problems you are experiencing. The Customer Service number that I was given just tells you to go back to the store and they have already told me what I was going to get and nothing more; if you like it or not. I/we want to be able to pick the color of the sheets that we want to start with. I hope the ADJUSTABLE BASES are built well that they last the twenty+ years that we were told they would. Looking at the sales order, I see, NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ON ADJUSTABLE BASES either. Maybe the Consumer Protection agency needs to become involved to protect the consumers. This has been a mess and we will never shop to Mattress firm again. Their process needs to be changed!

We purchased from Mattress Firm since it is close by and convenient. Additionally, we had been in there before and the people seemed nice, and they sell Tempur-Pedic mattresses, which is what we wanted. We’re still getting used to the bed It’s not as fluffy as what we had before, but we like it. We've only had it for two weeks, but have enjoyed it so far.
Their sales rep was knowledgeable, anxious to help, and wasn’t pushy. I was a little confused on the pricing since he told me that Tempur-Pedics never go on sale. Then I noticed right across the street that there was a big sign that says, “Tempur-Pedics on sale.” I told them that they’re going on sale right across the street, and the rep said that those are last year’s model. I told him it was still on sale. I caught him there with that, but we went with the purchase. The only thing is that they didn’t make the full delivery. They only delivered the top and one of the bottom pieces, and that was not fun. They messed up the delivery. It would’ve been nice if they offered to compensate us with the mess up, but they didn’t. They offered to deliver it the next day or later that day, but we didn’t know when and they didn’t know as well. My wife was anxious to put the bedroom back together, so she went there to get it. Other than that, our experience was fine.

My wife had been following various companies that offer the type of mattresses that we wanted to buy and we have a store close to the area where we live so that led us over to Mattress Firm. The sales representative was very good and informative. He covered everything very well. The guys that brought the bed over were excellent and good at their jobs. One thing that stood out is they set it up, got it all working and explained everything, and did a wonderful job. We purchased a bed that is adjustable both ways. We're still getting the hang of it, finding which positions are going to work best for us and we haven't firmed up anything yet. My wife seems to sleep very well. With me, it hasn't given anything different so far. It's a process and coming along.

I bought the first mattress down in Florida in 2009, and then I bought some other ones from Mattress Firm here in Cleveland a couple of years ago. Their sales rep was very good and it was nice that he helped us get the best deals possible. But the delivery was horrible. I waited for five hours and they never showed up, so I was pretty upset. I gathered that it was a rather large order and they didn't have the whole thing so they decided they'd wait until the whole thing was there, which is fine, but they should've told me because I had to call them to find out that the mattresses weren't coming that day. It was a week from when I bought the mattress to when Mattress Firm delivered.
The problem is not with their employees, the delivery was an outside source, and that's something they really need to work on. They should get their own employees so they can better control when they're coming. Even when I would call them at the store, there was very little communication between them and the delivery, and they couldn't seem to get any information either. But the mattresses themselves are fine. Their quality is very good and I love them.

I bought a mattress and foundation at a Mattress Firm store nearby and I sleep very well in it. I had a problem though with the mattress initially where it was sewn too tight on the bottom and the corners were pulled under. The first salesman I dealt with when I was buying the bed acknowledged the defect and was helpful in getting the bed replaced. He was knowledgeable and I was pleased with him. I went back in the store just to look at the one that was the floor model to make sure it wasn't like the bed I had and there was another younger guy in there that told me the beds are all a little different and I shouldn't worry about it and I wasn't so pleased with him. It's good the first salesman took care of everything and just needed a time for them to come.

I feel an obligation to warn other consumers that they should never trust a warranty from or do business with Mattress Firm. Our mattress and box spring costing over $1800 became totally unsatisfactory at a little over a year's time. In order to pursue a warranty claim, the company required we complete a form and fax it in with our credit card info (yes - you have to pay for the 'privilege' of pursuing a warranty claim with Mattress Firm). The entire process took from June to September - and during my follow up calls to customer service I was told they couldn't find any record of our purchase, that they had sent a letter (which we never received), etc., etc.
The 'inspection' involved a person coming out and merely measuring for body impressions - and at no time did the inspector actually press down on the spot I said sinks down with a person on it. She did note that the side of the mattress that collapses with body weight was bulging out at least 2". The inspector also noted that the box springs were in perfect condition.
The outcome was that we were informed that the warranty was invalid due to the fact that we are not using a proper frame (in other words, a Mattress Firm metal frame). This is completely ridiculous because the bed frame we have is incredibly sturdy - made from logs, has multiple cross bars and weighs over 700 pounds! We were never told at time of sale that we had to purchase a frame from their company that met certain requirements in order for the warranty to be valid. If they had, we would never have made the purchase. Our recommendation is to never buy from Mattress Firm - they will not honor their warranty.

I just filed a claim with Mattress Firm which has been denied. First the claim process has been incredibly frustrating and time consuming with endless telephone waits on hold. I paid $25 to file this claim (not noted on my purchase receipt documentation) with the understanding a 'technician' would come out and inspect my mattress. Later told "no technician in my area" so they sent me instructions on how to inspect the mattress myself with a string kit, measuring tool and photo uploading instructions. When I questioned why I paid $25 for a service I'm doing myself, I was told I would be refunded the $25. To date, nothing has been refunded and it's been over two weeks.
They wanted me to move the mattress and box springs, to photograph the box springs and frame (asked me twice), which I simply cannot do physically. My problem with this mattress is twofold: the head and feet are lower than the hip when lying down AND, the mattress is much, much harder (like a board) than the mattress I selected at the store. It's NOT what I ordered. I took my entire family to the store to help me compare this. We all agreed it is not the same mattress. Now my claim has been denied because the 'dip' in the mattress is 3/8" deep (my estimate), not the "required" 1.5" deep. What? A new mattress that has been slept on maybe 7 nights total shouldn't have dips AT ALL.
When I told them the uneven top was only partly my problem, I was given a new claim number and this process starts all over again!! Each time I speak with an agent the requirements change, the instructions change and the process gets more and more frustrating. It's unprofessional and inconsistent with new demands and different statements made in each email/phone conversation. For $1200 I expect a mattress my guests can actually sleep on which is exactly the same as what I ordered without hills and valleys, and fair and reasonable service. To date, none has occurred.

We bought two mattresses, box springs, and bed frames from Mattress Firm. The sales representative was very friendly, helpful and full of information. He gave us plenty of time to decide on our own, there was no pressure. We waited for our house to close so we didn't wanna buy anything before that. So, it took a little longer than we thought but when we came back to purchase, the guy remembered us and made us feel welcome. We were more than just money for him and it seemed like he wanted to follow up. The delivery personnel were very nice as well. They put the little covers on their shoes so they wouldn't track any kind of dirt in the house and they were very considerate of their customer. The experience as a whole was very positive.

When I was in Tennessee with my family for a wedding, I slept on my niece's new mattress and it was wonderful since my back didn't hurt when I got up. So, I took a picture of the bed tag then I went to three different mattress companies, but they didn't have this particular bed and not one person from those companies acted like they wanted to help. Then we went to Mattress Firm. Their rep, Elaine, said they didn't have this kind of bed either. I told her I got to have it because it's the mattress for me. When my husband and I turned around and walked out, she said she'll see what she could do. We were there for about an hour and she showed me the other beds. She made some phone calls, went on her computer, and we ended up getting a bed that's 98% compatible with the one I want. She was fantastic. The bed we got is a tempur-pedic and we got the brand name.
My niece got theirs in Tennessee at $899 and Elaine was able to give it to us at the same price, considering that when I called Jacksonville, Florida, the bed was priced at $999. I even bought a $250 mattress pad. There were three different ones and she explained thoroughly each one. I told her I had never paid over $30 for a mattress pad. But I got the guarantee and she showed us the difference and she's telling me how it's warranted for 10 years. She told me I had 120 days to either bring the bed back and get another one or get my money back.
The bed was supposed to be delivered Saturday but they gave a courtesy call Thursday because of the hurricane. The two delivery guys brought the bed in, took the plastic off, and put it on the bed because we had taken the old one off and I cleaned in the bedroom. And all they had to do was lay it on the box spring. I've had two back surgeries and when I would wake up, my back hurts. So, hopefully, this new bed I got is going to help solve the problem.

We got a queen mattress from Mattress Firm and a box bed, using the credit I had through them. We were supposed to get a queen-sized adjustable bed but the adjustable frame couldn’t fit through our house. Not only was there damage in our furniture but we couldn’t sleep that night so I had to ask for them to see if there was anything else they could do. The representative was really nice enough to check around and get two queen-sized non-adjustable box springs, and I told her to make the adjustments on the bill. She's amazing to still compromise and try to find us something to sleep on. The experience went from a positive to a mediocre experience to 'I’m very okay with it' now that it’s been a little while. We’re sleeping very well, better than when we were sleeping on the floor so I’m satisfied. I’m very happy that either way, I can sleep in and get off the couch.

About one month ago I ordered a mattress online from a local Mattress Firm store. I thought I was doing business with this store and ordered it from their website. After the sale an online agent via chat told me I would be contacted within 24 hours. I assumed this was to schedule a delivery time and date. I was never contacted. When I contacted them via email about 2 days later I found out I was doing business with facility in Houston, Texas and the mattress was being delivered by FedEx. The mattress was a gift for my 81 year old mother who isn't physically capable of disposing her old mattress or setting up a new one. I cancelled the order. By the time someone got back to me from Mattress Firm I was told the item had already been shipped. Again I told them to cancel.
10 days later the mattress arrives via FedEx. The box had been opened and resealed, was damaged, and looked to be very old. The mattress has never left the shipping box and we have not opened it. When I contacted them once again to say I didn't want the product I was told there would be a 149 dollar processing fee to return it. Since that time the company has insisted I pay the 149 dollars for a product that has never been used or opened on my end.
I contacted a consumer advocate group to mediate this. Business Consumer Alliance 315 N La Cadena Drive Colton, CA 92324. The company has to responded to BCA. This price for returning this is exorbitant as I only paid 312 dollars for the mattress. The company is virtually saying we don't care if the product is damaged or that you don't want it. It will cost me 149 dollars to return it. This hardly seems fair and the company refuses to answer any emails now. Is there something I can do to protect myself and others from this "scam?" We've had Mattress Firm products in our home for about 20 years and we bought a new one 8 years ago that is under a ten year warranty. It was sagging so we had it replaced with an upgraded model and we paid the difference. I've also purchased a pillow top mattress which is the same with one that I had before. The sales representative was very good, helpful, explained everything to us, and helped us choose the new mattress. However, their delivery people were very terrible.
There were 2 men who came in and were very curt and rude. He said, "You mean this goes upstairs?" and I said that it does because that's where the other one is at. They had a heck of a time getting it up the stairs and they weren't real happy about it because there's a curve on the stairs. So they took the old mattress off the bed and put the new mattress on. Then they asked if I had to send the old mattress with the cover and I explained I needed to keep it covered so it couldn't have any spots on and for the warranty to still be good. And because their hands were filthy from taking out the old mattress, the whole bannister going up the stairs was dirty and they also left footprints on the carpet. I asked if it was safe enough at the back of the truck where they took the old mattress out and the answer was, "I don't know." They weren't real happy with their jobs that they were having to do and so we didn't tip them as we normally do with delivery people.

I was very impressed with the gentleman from Mattress Firm who sold the bed to me. He wasn't pushy. I had just gone in the store with my friend and said that I was there to just look at the different types and not buy and he said that that's fine. So I looked around and then started asking him questions. Once he started explaining things, I thought, "I'm not going anywhere else." He was so thorough and I liked him very much. When we entered a Mattress Firm, we were just checking a price match on the mattress that we were going to be purchasing from a competitor. We were convinced by the salesperson to purchase a 'heavily discounted mattress' from the clearance center. We said we have back problems and she recommended the softest bed for $1600. We agreed to purchase it. My husband and I now have chronic pain in our shoulders, neck, and back and the company refuses to exchange our mattress for something that will not cause us to be in pain all day and night. This is my first Mattress Firm bed and I love it. It goes up and down, so I really like that a lot too. First, I had purchased the mattress and I went back to buy the bed frame for my son's bed. The people there were very helpful and friendly. The first time they brought the bed in, we have to wait for quite a while. They called at 10:30 and said sorry because they were so late. In 2011 we purchased a St. Croix twin mattress set for both of our children. At first we were very pleased with the purchase because the mattresses seemed comfortable. About a year after purchasing both sets, we started hearing noises when the kids moved around on their mattress. It's even louder if an adult or heavier child is on the mattress. It seems like it may be the mattress, but it could be the box spring as well. Last year we also had to replace (at our expense) one of the bed frames because the piece attaching the leg to the caster was made from plastic, and they all started to break, leaving my child with a lopsided bed. At this point, we are planning to purchase new mattress sets for our children so they can get better rest, but we do not plan to shop at Mattress Firm.

After only 2 years, my mattress is garbage. It's lumpy and sinks inward. They voided the warranty because of a small stain. I was not made aware of this at the time of purchase. Sure, it's hidden somewhere in the fine print but the associate at the store went on and on about what a great warranty they had. I never would have thought a stain would void a warranty on a horribly made bed. The stain didn't cause the terrible quality. Guess you can't resell used beds with stains, Mattress Firm.

We were very interested in a hybrid mattress. We found the Sealy Plush Hybrid at Mattress Firm but it was online only. We traveled to several Mattress Firm stores to try something similar before ordering over the phone. We were ok with ordering it anyway once the salesperson told us about the 120 money back guarantee but failed to mention a restocking fee. We received our mattress and it did not have the plush pillow top that we expected. We called in the day we received the mattress because we assumed it was the wrong one. It has been a little over a week and we both have terrible back and are barely sleeping.
We have called 10+ times to complain and ask for a refund. We have received terrible customer services and extremely long hold times. We are being told that we have to keep it for 30 days and pay a restocking fee that we are not aware. I hate to put a 1200 mattress in the basement but we need to get some sleep. I feel that it is unfair that we have to wait 30 days when we are so unhappy and will be forced to pay a fee that we were never told about. We will never shop here again!

Mattress Firm hires good people in their stores. The first rep I went to was exceptionally good and knowledgeable. Aside from the Posturepedic mattress that I got, I also bought a headboard and two other side products from them to get to a certain dollar amount, but the delivery experiences on both were subpar. The first mattress delivery arrived 90 minutes after the end of the three-hour window. Then, the headboard was cancelled because the truck from the manufacturer never made it until 8:00 p.m. from Chicago to St. Louis instead of 8:00 a.m. so it had to be rescheduled for a few days later. The whole sales experience was positive but they need some work done on the back end. Although, I’d still recommend them.

I bought a very expensive king size mattress and boxspring from Mattress Firm's Fayetteville, Arkansas location while I was living there on a work assignment. A few weeks later, I was moved to Philadelphia, PA for another assignment, and I brought the bed with me during the move. Turns out the bed - while great quality - is much too soft for my back and I need to exchange it for a different one. I have been going back and forth for weeks with multiple Mattress Firm customer service representatives trying to get them to honor their return policy. They claim that since I moved outside a certain mileage from the nearest warehouse, I don't qualify for the $149 return agreement. They're telling me I have to rent a truck at my own expense and drive the mattress up to Connecticut in order to return it - where I will still have to pay $100 once I get there. Absolutely ridiculous.
Nowhere in the contract I signed at the store or in their return policy online does it state any stipulations or limitations on the $149 Happiness Guarantee. The Better Business Bureau will be very interested to know about this company not honoring a signed and verified contract - I look forward to having a conversation with them. From the looks of their BBB review page, many other people have had similar issues with customer service representatives claiming new, hidden restrictions. Forget about trying to exchange the mattress - this process has gone on for 4 weeks (!!) and even if I could have dealt with the back pain the current mattress is causing me in the meantime, out of the sheer rudeness I've been treated with by the customer service team has turned me off any future Mattress Firm, Sleepy's, or Sleep Train purchases.

Hampton and Rhodes memory foam mattress 10.75" - I am a recent divorcee. When I moved out of my husband's house I naturally went to Mattress Firm in Apache Junction met with a guy named Andrew. Andrew is very accommodating my price range when looking for a new mattress. I selected this particular mattress from the model that they had in the store and because it was in my price range I decided to purchase it. I asked Andrew when I bought the mattress if it had been slept on before by anybody else and he said no it was a brand new mattress.
After I picked up this mattress a couple of days later I brought it home and slept on it for about a month. After about a month it started to wrinkle. The top part of the mattress started to separate from the memory foam. I called the store where I purchase the mattress and actually spoke to Andrew again and they did a one-time exchange on the mattress at no charge to me. I had a brand new mattress delivered about three days later.
When I receive the new mattress I realized that the other one clearly had been slept on before. The mattress that I received was so hard that it has been impossible to sleep ever since. My neck hurts every morning when I wake up even after buying new pillows my back hurts so badly that I started sleeping in the spare bedroom. This is the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever purchased in my entire life. I love memory foam mattresses and I actually measured this mattress for thickness because the website states it's 10.75 inches. On a good day this mattress is only about 9 inches. I feel duped and I will never buy a mattress from Mattress Firm again. I've contacted the local store where I bought the mattress from and they were willing to do an upgrade on another mattress but I would have to pay the $149 restocking fee to get another mattress.
I am a single mother of two kids and cannot afford to lose $149 on a mattress that is the worst mattress on the planet. I have been reduced to sleeping in the spare bedroom on an old mattress that is a hundred times more comfortable than this one. Beware of any Mattress Firm in their sleep guarantee return policy. It does state on their website that they will give you your money back but what I found is that is not true. I'm not really sure Mattress Firm really cares about your comfort and your sleep, I think they only care about the money. I have since found a mattress online that is a 14 inch memory foam mattress with Stellar reviews. Because Mattress Firm won't hold up their end of the deal I can't afford to get it. This is just been the worst experience and I will never shop at Mattress Firm again. Buyer beware.

We purchased a Serta iComfort Revolution mattress set and foundation in Dec of 2011. ($5600). The mattress has a significant structural failure, well beyond the 3/4 inch allowable. We faxed the warranty paperwork in on JULY 18th, 2016 and our $25 charge was drawn on AUGUST 5th. We are now 9 weeks from the time of submission and the only response I can get is that it takes 4-6 weeks for service. It appears that this is the only forum available to get help. Mattress Firm customer service is unresponsive.

I used to be with Sleepy’s and heard they had turned into Mattress Firm. So I just went there, looked at a few mattresses and I found one that I liked. The sales guy was very helpful, and knowledgeable about the products that he showed me. He gave me an excellent price for what I purchased. And he pretty much worked with me to the best of his ability because I’m on a fixed income and I didn’t have a lot of money. I haven't used the mattress yet, but my parents visited me for the weekend and they were the first ones to sleep on it. And they said it's a good sleep. Overall, product is good, but they should try to be competitive with their prices and keep it low for people who’s on fixed incomes.

When I went into Mattress Firm in Bourbonnais, IL my brother in law purchased a Tempur Contour Mattress which was way harder than the showroom. Then the sales lady suggested to my sister due to my back that I would be better with an adjustable frame. Needless to say it is causing more pain and swelling than I already have and they say "once you get an adjustable frame you cannot return it". To me that is against their happy guarantee and just puts more money in their pockets. If I would have known this, I would have went to Mega Mattress and Furniture or a better place than this.

We purchased a Simmons Beauty Rest firm mattress a couple of months ago. When they showed up to deliver it the delivery truck didn't even have the correct mattress and box spring and they brought in two beds that were incorrect and had to redeliver a mattress later that evening. The mattress was as hard as a rock and nothing like the mattress we tried out in the store. We knew it wasn't going to work out but we gave it the 30 days required and then paid money to exchange it for the mattress that would be one step down of firmness.
We tested it out in the store and it felt like it would work for us but when we got that mattress delivered to our house it seemed very odd. It seemed like the edge all around the mattress was super firm and the rest of the mattress was sagging and sinking. Not really firm at all and feels like we've had it for 10 years. I have had back pain every morning that I wake up and try to sleep on the couch when I can to relieve my back pain.
Even though we're not supposed to be able to do anymore exchanges or returns according to their policy I would like to have a return and full refund and to shop elsewhere because I believe the product is poor and it's hard to shop in the store and get something completely different. I would never shop at Mattress Firm again nor would I ever send anyone that I know there. We spent over $700 and even though we got a good deal on the mattress I wish we never would've gone there. Now I just want my money back. Since it has not been 120 days yet I'm hoping someone at mattress firm can do something for me.

I purchased a Swim Spa from Mattress Firm at the Nebraska State Fair. Prior to making the decision to buy my husband asked the salesman if we could take the paperwork with us to look it over. We were told we could not. We were asked to fill out information to see if we qualified for interest free financing, not being told we were filling out an application from a credit card that shares privacy information. (Later told it says that along the top, but I distinctively remember there was another salesman also talking and distracting us and know this was on a clip board and believe that portion was covered by the clip.) Also, at sale we received no manual, no warranty info or specifications.
I expressed my concern before we left and the salesman printed off a map of the dimensions of the swim spa and said he would get me the info promptly. I said you'll need my contact info and he reminded me he had it on information I filled out for interest free. I called him twice and asked information and texted numerous times as he didn't answer often as my contractors and electrician needed them and stated I still had not received manual information and specifications. I also called the company and got no answer. I then was told the pool had to be 8 foot from the lot line as required by city code. I called company about 76 hours after the sale, and said I would have to cancel if I cannot get into the pool on the short ends, but no one answered so I left this on an answering machine. I also called the salesman and got no answer.
I finally got a hold of the sale man and he said it should work if I cut off part of my deck (So not so close to lot line for city code) and enter on the ends. I sent him text pictures of a similar swim spa I got off line and asked if the cover would block view and entrance on small ends as now this is the only way I would be able to enter and he said no. I reminded him I needed manuals. He told me he had sent my order in and it was 8 hours beyond 72 hours and I had signed a paper that I would have to pay a $750 processing fee! He neglected to give me the information I needed to make an educated decision and lied about the ability to get in on the ends of the pool. I tried to make it work then since he TOLD me I could enter on the ends.
Finally 6 days after the sale, my information arrived via email on Sat, 9/10 at 10:20 PM so I did not see it until Sunday afternoon and I could immediately see that there is no way to climb across a cover when you're on a raised 52" deck or steps (see swim cover photo attached). (I have a text regarding this question to him prior to 72 hours but mostly phone calls). That would be folded 18+ inches away from the edge of the pool. He and his supervisor sent a text picture of the paperwork I unknowingly signed (remember I asked to take it with me to look it over) and said I would be charged this fee.
Is it not crooked to wait 130 hours to send information the customer needs to see if their purchase is workable and to lie to them about the logistics of entering the pool safely so they don't cancel prior to the 72 hours? When talking to the supervisor on the phone he said it was "company policy" not to allow a customer to take the paper work to look over before signing. I asked him to send it to me this policy. His reaction was that if I didn't have all the information, I should of canceled within 72 hours. First, I was unaware I had signed that I would pay $750 if I canceled after 72 hours as this was not disclosed to me. 2nd, salesman told me it would work and lied, I believed he was reputable, but saw later why he waited 130 hours to provide the information.
I hope and pray deceptive practices like this become illegal as I have never in my life felt so scammed! I also sent an email proving I did not receive spa information promised until 3 days AFTER the 72 hours! I can understand a $50 processing fee, but $750 is criminal given that they knowingly hid information from me in several instances! My last contact with the company was with my salesman's manager on Thursday, Sept 15th. He just texted me a portion of where I signed a portion that said there was a $750 fee I would be paying and did not care about the many other deceptions I encountered.

My wife had had knee replacement surgery and the bed we had is one of the high profiles. So the bed was sitting up really high and she couldn’t get on it without using a step. Mattress Firm was in a convenient location for us and we've known about them for quite a few years, so we decided to buy a king size low profile box spring from them. When we came in, the sales reps were great because we told them what we were looking for and they showed us two examples. One of them, they didn’t have in stock. The other one they had in their warehouse. We chose that, which was a very good brand, we didn’t have any problems with it. Their rep added up the delivery schedule. This bed solved the problem. She can get in and out of the bed easily with the height it is now.

When my daughter went to pick up the mattress and box spring she had to search every door of the warehouse to find where to receive the merchandise. Signs were taped to lamp poles and not visible. The salesman did not warn me that the box spring would be made of plywood and the mattress was firmer than what was in the store. I tried to exchange it but a new salesman told me about a fee of $150 that would be charged me plus a delivery charge to pick up and delivery charge to drop off a new set. I was not told about these charges when I purchased the set but did find them in the documents after I was made aware of them. Not happy with any of this experience and will not be shopping at Mattress Firm again. Quality and service is nothing like Sleepy's.

On July 20, 2015 I have purchased the “Beautyrest Recharge World Class Manorville Firm Mattress Set, King” through Amazon (order #**). On September 7, 2016 a refund/return order was set at Amazon, based on defect noticed on the purchased product. The mattress is sagging on its side and on top (specially when lying near the sides) causing the mattress deformation (see attached photos), discomfort and pain. From your advertisement at Amazon we can extract the following important information that you offer to customers, in regards to this product.

The consistency of your product, described on your advertisement, cannot be ensured until the use of the mattress for certain period, which now consists in almost 14 months. A contact was made with Mattress Firm Inc. on September 7 and they informed me that it is not possible to return/refund the item because the period for that had expired. The company’s answer was not sufficient to solve the problem and in the same day I contacted Amazon.com, who sent them another email, again explaining the claim and problems. No answer was received over that email.
On September 9, once more I have contacted Mattress Firm Inc. customer services, now over the phone, and they informed me that there was no way to return the item and the only way to evaluate the mattress problem, if possible, was to fill out a warranty form and pay a non-refundable fee for an inspection (almost $70). I do not believe I should be responsible to pay any fee for a defective product evaluation, specially when you can easily see by photos that the mattress is deformed and with problems.

From the Mattress Firm website: "100% Sleep Happy or Your Money Back." They refuse, however, to issue refunds for adjustable bed frames. We have had the frame for 2 weeks. After 1 week, we called the store because it is very uncomfortable. The salesman did not return our call. We called again today, and he was not in. The "100% Sleep Happy or Your Money Back" statement on their website is a lie. Isn't this false advertising?

I had a mattress that I’ve had since 2003 and it was getting old. Mattress Firm happened to be the closest one to my house and there were some good sales. When we walked in the door, we’ve seen some good prices compared to everywhere else we’ve seen. The sales guy was also nice. He seemed rather new but pretty much knew what he was doing. We bought the mattress, the box spring and two pillows that were like a latex feeling. We love the products that we purchased. The only part we had a problem with was the delivery drivers. When they were bringing the mattress in the house, they weren’t paying attention to what was on walls and they’re knocking stuff down. It seemed they were behind and were trying to catch up and were really rushing.

A brand new mattress and box spring were purchased from a Mattress Firm in Ocala, Fl (as we know they are all over the place oddly). It does not seem to be as plush as the floor sample and I am of the opinion that a considerably nicer floor sample is created to give the impression all their mattresses are top notch. A low-profile box spring was requested due to the inaccurate height estimate by the salesman. We placed a call one-half hour after delivery to request switching out the low-profile for the standard box spring and was quoted a $79 fee (we are a mile, if that, from Mattress Firm) and felt that quote was ridiculous. The salesman states changing out the box spring would void the warranty (a warranty that Mattress Firm likely will never honor without serious headache and hassle to wear down the customer).
The boxspring requested is the mate to the mattress, so try figuring that one out. Also supposedly there is no difference in price for a low-profile versus a standard boxspring, hmmm. Needless to say, the salesman is not interested in any real assistance after the sale, even though a well-cared for, SPOTLESS, free of ANY odor, too firm mattress and matching box spring were picked up either for resale after sanitation or as they "claim" donation (something that only benefits Mattress Firm as they likely have a resale warehouse somewhere). During the sales pitch, this was "free" and that was "free".
We should ALL know that is definitely BOGUS. It is rolled into those figures on that price tag because NOTHING is free when you shop at such stores, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. By ALL means do your homework prior to spending a large sum of money, AND read the FINE PRINT prior to leaving the store because those perks are way too good to be true when the salesman NEVER mentions a fee during his flawless sales pitch, please don't be fooled, ASK QUESTIONS about those so-called PERKS.

So I ordered a mattress over two weeks ago and have not only not received the mattress I have not received any information on when it will eventually arrive. I have spend hours on hold with their, to be frank, completely worthless customer help line. I have sent about 5 emails to your customer care and been in 3 different online chats. I have been repeatedly promised that someone would contact me about my delivery and no one has. I have been more than reasonable and they are essentially scamming me. What they are doing is not just bad customer service it is illegal, they have failed to deliver the product I paid for and have essentially stolen my money. If they do not refund my money, I am going to take legal action.

We ordered a king mattress last week. It was delivered through an outsourced company that was sketchy to begin with. Cash only, rickety uhaul, non- mattress firm apparel, etc. Three days later - BED BUGS. We have been on the phone with the local store and national store all day, only to be told we just have to wait because there is only one bed bug specialist in the entire company who can handle our claim. We have now spent hundreds of dollars on sheets, tossing out pillows, encasement gear, detection kits, AND an exterminator. Plus a box spring and mattress that are somehow contaminated. All with no help after a day of calling mattress firm. Will continue to demand reimbursement of all expenses, including reimbursement/return of my mattress and delivery fee, and will not be using them again.

Mattress Firm had a sale and somebody told me they had good mattresses so I went to buy from them. It was a good experience until I got ready to go pick up my mattress. The rep didn’t realize that I was picking up the box-spring from over there. He thought I picked it up from one spot and weren’t supposed to pick it up from over there. When they gave me that kind of problem, I ended up losing out on the sale. Because I was going get another one for my brother but after I went to pick up the mattress, I lost train of thought.

First I would like to say that I am very satisfied with my mattress. I purchased online and choose the 90 day same as cash option for payment. Two months later I created an account and was shocked that the terms were for one year, therefore charging an additional $600 in finance charges. I immediately called Progressive regarding the terms. When my sister told me about Mattress Firm, I got a queen-sized bed and mattress and a twin-size from them. Their sales reps were good. They let me try the beds that I wanted to try. The people that delivered the mattress were also real nice about setting everything up for me. And I like the mattresses, they have good quality. So far, it’s really comfortable.

Worked with ** and ** at 955 Barrett pkwy store in Kennesaw Georgia. Got totally hoodwinked. Worked with them for several hours and eventually bought a top of the line Tempurpedic for $7000 +. I was told this was a new shipment they just received. When it was delivered there was a tag attached saying "USED" Germicide performed. I would never pay $7000 for a used mattress!!! Upon contacting ** and **, they claim mattress is not used but is a floor sample. I was never told that I was purchasing a "USED" mattress! So far company is only willing to waive $149.00 return fee if we buy another mattress from them. WHY WOULD I WANT TO CONTINUE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SLICK SALESPEOPLE! BUYERS BEWARE. Make sure you are getting a NEW mattress if that is what you think you are paying for!!!

Mattress Firm had all these massage chairs lined up at the Wisconsin State Fair, and they encouraged people to try them out, so we did. We also asked a lot of questions and the sales reps have been professional and gave us answers. We enjoyed their massage chair and we thought we got a good price and a good deal on it so we bought it. They gave us plenty of time to examine the product at first and we bartered a little bit and they extended the warranty for a year. It's a very expensive item so we hope that we actually recoup some value over the years but I think we're gonna pay it off in five years.
In every couple of days, I get in it and take a 20-minute massage and for me at least, it seemed like it's been beneficial. I think my wife has had less impact from it. In fact she got a sore hip and it makes her feel sorer. We had it delivered over a month ago and we still had not paid one dime on this thing and were supposed to be paying it off through Synchrony Bank and they said that the first bill would come out the 21st so I'm hoping that we finally get a bill and know what's going on.

"We will beat any competitors advertised price by 10% or it's FREE!" (They say, repeatedly and in writing.) Ordered/paid for a mattress on 9/5 using an ad from another firm. MF is supposed to then sell for 10% below the competitor's price. They erred, and only matched the price. I found this error later and called the store the next day to ask for a free mattress (as their corporate guarantee states). I'm not greedy---it's THEIR policy! If it was just a 10%-off guarantee, and they fixed it by giving me 10% off, then I wouldn't be writing this.
Whoa! The salesman sent me to an asst. manager, then an area manager, then a district manager, none of whom would help. Initially they said they'd give me 10% (well, that's not FREE) and the best they would do is give me about 20% off (that's not free either). After pressing my case (I had the invoice document and ad to prove it), they told me to call customer service (it's a "corporate issue"). Good luck getting to talk to THEM! After being on hold for up to 20 minutes, spending about 2 hours total over 2 days on the phone, I never got through.
I hit the 'call me now' button online. My phone rang--and I was back to a recording telling me to wait! I even sent an email. 24 hour response? No response after 3 days! Researching further, I found this website with horror stories from others... and I cancelled my order the night before delivery (luckily, from what I see here of other people's experiences). If they won't honor one guarantee, no wonder they deny others, as you see on this page.
I'll never waste my time with them again--unless I get a free mattress. I can't wait to see the canned response MF will post in response to this review... Or my free mattress, or my refund (7-10 days? Really?? It took 30 seconds to charge me). Dispute the credit card charge with your card company right away to avoid problems with getting your refund! Is this a class-action lawsuit waiting to happen or what?

We really like sleeping on our bed that we bought from Mattress Firm. We’ve had a little bit of trouble in getting everything to come together. We couldn’t get our legs. Lee went up to the store just down the street from us and Mattress Firm there has got them on order and that we don’t get them until the end of this month. We put the big ones back under it but it’s like jumping in the bed or over a fence because it’s so high. At least we can use the feet up and the head up; otherwise, we couldn’t.
The delivery team was really nice. They worked right along. When we had the mess up with the legs, he helped us call the gentleman that sold us the mattress and he explained what was going on to him. I mean he went out of his way to try and help us. They did a wonderful job. Other than it sleeps great, my wife had this tendency to semi-snore. So with the head up, it’s really helped out a little bit.

Mattress Firm is close by and I had seen their ads on television and I had planned on trying three places but ended up going there and purchasing a Tempur-Pedic mattress and foundation. The sales rep seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. I was going to purchase the foundation that can raise the head and the feet up and I asked her specifically if it would work with the bed that I already had. My daughter even came home since we were close by and measured the bar under the bed that goes from the headboard to the footboard. And the rep said it would work. But when the delivery guys brought the bed, they said it wouldn’t work and so we had to send that back. They left the mattress on the foundation I already had but then the next week they delivered the normal foundation and that was disappointing.
I’m not the first one who had a bed frame that they didn’t want to get rid of in order to buy that mattress foundation that adjusted. They should have known that wasn't gonna work because the guys delivering it said that was the third time lately that they had had to tell the people once they got there that it isn’t gonna work. Even so, I like the bed and the main reason I bought it was I’m getting older with a lot of arthritis, aches, and pains and my old mattress was getting a little saggy. I was hoping the bed would help the ache and pain issue but I can’t really say it has. But it feels supportive and I’m sure I’m getting better support.

I've spent well over 2 hours, currently web chatting w/ a 3rd person and called at least 4-5 different numbers to try to find anyone to help solve the issue. Instead they just push it off to someone else. Needless to say the customer service level of training & the knowledge they don't give their employees is some of the lowest I've ever seen. Now I'm told to call Corporate AGAIN in the morning... FRUSTRATED!!! Oh & did I mention an employee told me I was wrong even though the paperwork that states otherwise is sitting in front of me. When you buy a mattress for thousands of dollars it usually come with a warranty and Mattress Firm highly speaks of their 10 + year warranties while saying at the same time replace after 8 (yrs). Well our mattress starting sagging terribly after 5 years and we had to get a technician of some sort out to evaluate it. My wife and I are by no means overweight and the technician said "yes the mattress had failed all test" and the company offered a credit towards a new. Of course when the wife and I had showed up last night they were keen to show and demo to us the most expensive mattresses and luckily we chose to stay in the range before at 2200+ for a new one. Well there was actually no luck with working with this firm.
What we found out after spending thousands on a mattress with a 10 year warranty and it failing under warranty you get ZERO warranty for the replacement. You don't get the 90 day trial period and again ZERO warranty on a brand new mattress which by the way we still had to come out of pocket for. So even the original 10 Year (REMAINDER) is not transferable. So at this point you really are better off going to a Costco or reputable department store for a mattress.
