I purchased a mattress and the box spring from Mattress Firm for my mom. We went there because it was known as Sleepy’s, and we needed a mattress. We learned that it was bought over or it was sold to Mattress Firm. Their sales rep was awesome and informative. She also worked with us with our budget. She took her time and I was happy with her. Then it was the normal routine with their delivery team, they brought the new mattress and removed the other one.
But when we got home and they delivered for my mom, she doesn’t think that the product they delivered was the same exact mattress as she saw at the store. So I called up the rep and she assured me it was. My mom says it doesn’t feel the same on her body as the one she tried in the store but it’s because at the store, we were there a good 40 minutes as opposed to she’s sleeping on the actual mattress now. She hasn’t mentioned it again, so she’s okay with it. We're happy with Mattress Firm.

We had purchased a box spring for my son and two big Memory Foam pillows from Mattress Firm before. I still have one of the pillows and my friend borrowed the other one. I love it. Then, I bought two smaller ones at one time, too. Years later, I went in again. Before going to Mattress Firm I went and looked at the Sleep Number and didn’t really like it. So, I didn’t want to go anywhere else unless we go to Mattress Firm. So, I came to Mattress Firm and very impressed and I love my bed.
The atmosphere was awesome when you walk in and it's like you're family already. Their rep was there and he was very personable. We talked and we laughed. He helped me tremendously and answered all my questions. He showed me the mattress. I lied on it and he told me all about it. I picked one and I had it not even the whole 120 days. It was just a couple of weeks and I thought that this was not the one because it was way too soft. I went back and the same rep took care of it for me and I got the best one.
Two guys delivered the mattress and they were very nice, sweet and talkative. We talked like I've known them forever which helped. I asked them to move the box spring that I had into the other room because it was too heavy for me and they did it. Then, I have my box spring that goes with the mattress. Everything went smoothly. The mattress feels firm, it's awesome and we sleep like a baby. I love this mattress. It's also good for the back. My husband’s back was hurting without a Tempur-Pedic. I love my Tempur-Pedic but we've had it for a while so this one is perfect. It's a little soft but firmer and it's working great. We'll definitely buy more mattresses. I had great experiences with Mattress Firm and the delivery people.

We purchased a twin bed from Mattress Firm two years ago and we loved it. Since they have the lowest price, we purchased a mattress recently. The sales representative took the time to talk with us, answer our questions, and make us a priority. It was a great experience and we like the product.

I purchased a bed and frame from Mattress Firm at the Del Mar Fair. Maybe that's where I first went wrong. I tried the bed and liked it and the deal was good so purchased on a Friday, delivered on that Sunday. The two delivery guys set the bed up and informed me that the frame was broken. On the right side the holes do not match up on the frame so only one bolt fits. They said it would be ok until another frame was delivered. They also informed me that the remote for that side did not have a back cover and would be replaced with the frame. It has been almost two months and they still have not replaced either. I have called and they say they have no record. While I still wait and complain I deal with a bed that is not comfortable and hurts. I have had multiple back surgeries and this is not good. Do not buy from Mattress Firm. I never write reviews but had to so nobody else has to deal with them.

We had friends who purchased from Mattress Firm so they referred us to them. The salesperson was good and the process was quick. Then, they delivered and set it up. We've had our new mattress and box spring for about two weeks now and they have met all of our expectations so far.

I'm not sure if there is a lack of training, or if there is no standard as long as you get your sale, but the online salesmen lied to me continuously to get my sale. They told me that I would be getting a free pillow, and I asked which one they would send. They sent me a link to a pillow that looked high quality, but when I got my bill it said "Value microfiber cluster pillow", which wasn't what we discussed. The guys said, "We were out of the one I told you about, so I am giving you 2 of this other one". Well, that would have been great if it was a comparable replacement, but they weren't. They were value pillows that are super hard and uncomfortable, and basically garbage in a pillowcase. They ended up throwing in a mattress protector, which would have been great if my problems stopped there, but they didn't.
The salesman also told me that I wouldn't have to pay anything down in order to finance, which was a lie. He told me my first payment would be 30 days after the bed was delivered, which was a lie also. Not only was there a fee for financing, but there was also a payment of $65 that I had to pay in order to sign the commitment. Both payments weren't applied to my purchase amount, even though the salesman said that financing would be free and no other fees would be applied.
I took off work for the delivery. I had an emailed receipt that showed a delivery time of pretty much the entire day, but after sitting home bored for hours, I called to see if they could give me a better time frame. First few times I called they said "We don't see your order, you might want to try back later", which was scary, so I kept calling. Turns out the salesman forgot to put the order in, and I only found this out after calling a local store repeatedly until he helped me. I had to take a second day off work to make sure I would be home for the delivery. I am super annoyed with my purchase. The actual bed frame is great, but I feel very cheated. BE AWARE!

Mattress Firm is near my home so I went there to take a look and the salespeople were good. They were kind, friendly and very informative. They gave me all the information on whatever products matched my preference and then we chose what I wanted. But the warehouse didn't have it so we had to order it but it only took a day or so. Still it was a good experience. I had no issues.

Mattress Firm is a store by us and we just went there. I first bought from them five years ago. This time, I bought a memory foam type of bed. The salespeople answered our questions and they weren’t pushy. I bought a Mattress Firm product last year and then I bought another one from them four months ago and both have been very good. It was a very nice experience.

I purchased a demo mattress and box spring. I was excited about getting it for half price. The delivery is unreal... I work day shift as a medical professional. I've expressed that the delivery times wasn't working for me. Instead of giving me a new time...they reschedule with the same exact time frame. I am a single parent living in a state with no family and very few friends...which is very lonely and difficult. However... I don't have anyone who could be to my house while I work because they too have to work.
This has happened three times and I'm so upset. Where is my grandson suppose to sleep? He is returning home from summer vacation with family in another state. Whatever happened to accommodate your customers? I am making arrangements to have two coworkers switch shifts to accommodate my needs. This is ridiculous and although I am excited about saving money and the salespersons were great...but not once the delivery process was in effect...that changed. No one seemed to care. I will NOT deal with this company ever again.

We needed a mattress and we’ve been looking around. We ended up buying from Mattress Firm and we were happy with their sales rep. He helped us a lot and he gave us an opinion on the mattress. He also told us to lay down to see what we liked better and if the mattress was comfortable for us. We got a king size Tempur-Pedic bed. Their reps said it was going to be here at 4:00 in the afternoon, but their delivery team was here earlier so it arrived fast. We’re very happy that we got the Tempur-Pedic. Since we had it, I am sleeping better and I wake up with more energy.

I called the store I purchased this from, because the mattress is sagging in the middle, after 1 1/2 years. The store said I need to call the manufacturer. The manufacturer, says I need to call Mattress Firm??? Talk about the run around! I called Mattress Firm, and the customer service person was horrible. They claim, I have to pay them, in order to use my warranty. Nice scam!!! Product fails, not my fault, and I now have to pay for an inspection?? I will never buy a product from Mattress Firm again!!!

I was needing a mattress and the people at Mattress Firm were nice to deal with. I purchased four beds in the last couple of years from them and recently, I got a queen size mattress. I got the mattress on the same day and it's been good.

We've seen a lot Mattress Firms in the immediate vicinity so when we needed some mattress we went to them. Their sales staff let us do our own thing, go around the store and try the beds. If we had any questions they were absolutely helpful. We got one of the service specialty beds with the box spring. The box spring was actually picked out by the associate there. He was trying to help us get everything spaced so it was really nice and he helped us a lot. They delivery crew was absolutely seamless as well. We got the bed a month and a half ago and I've been sleeping a lot better. Everything was perfect.

I am just writing this, so that other consumers won't get fooled like me! I purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm and they sold me the warranty for 10 years and also I purchased a protective cover for the mattress to protect it from any stains that would void the warranty. After three years the mattress become very uncomfortable and you can easily notice how inclined it is!!! When I filed a claim I had to pay $29 dollars to send me a kit to perform the inspection!! Never been told about that when I purchased the warranty!!!
And after I did the inspection and sent them the pictures, guess what! They sent me a letter saying the warranty is void 'cause of stains!!!' I called them back and I insisted there are not even a tiny stain. After a brief hold, she back and said ok but still the measurements did not pass!!! Seriously. This company will just take your money and do nothing for you when you have a problem. It's so sad we spent all this money thinking we are in safe hands and we are not!!! Save your money and buy from some other place.

My wife and I purchased a new Mattress 3 days ago. The sales associate was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. They delivered our mattress the next day as they said they would. We have been sleeping very comfortable for several nights. Yesterday while on my way to work I hear a radio ad offering a free Yeti cooler if you purchase a new bed. Since we know we spent a small fortune on our bed my wife called to inquire if we would be getting this cooler. She was told they do not have any more. I am not happy with this response as the radio is still airing this ad and promoting this special. This is a 300.00 value that in my opinion we should be entitled to.

I've been looking around trying to get a mattress and Mattress Firm was having a big sale for the holidays. I went over there and got a mattress. We were there for a half hour or more waiting because they were having problems with the computer and then the sales rep finally said to just come back the following day and sign the papers because he was still on the computer. Then I didn't come back for another couple of days to fill out the paper that tells you what you bought.
The delivery guys thought they’re going to be here between 4:00 and 5:00 but they had a lot of customers that they had to deliver here in town. We waited for them all day and we're getting ready to give up on them but they showed up about 8:00 o'clock and set the mattress up. They were pretty friendly, helpful, picked up the trash and took it with them. Also one of them gave me his card with his name on it so we can give him a call if we have any problems.
We financed it through Synchrony and when I got the bill they were charging me for two mattresses. I called them, talked to the manager who did the transaction and they said they made a mistake. It was really slow and it went back and forth but everything's straightened out now. The manager was nice and he explained everything to us. Also I'm pretty satisfied with the mattress. I would recommend somebody for them to buy a mattress there.

I financed a mattress through them on February 2017. For the month of May through part of August, I wasn't living at home due to personal issues relating to family. Upon returning home, I have been unable to get anywhere near a decent night's sleep due to the mattress having slinking springs which has been causing back pain. Mattress Firm, or as I like to call it now mattress burn said I can have somebody come out and look at it as it is under warranty, and that the fee to have them come out is reimbursable if the mattress is indeed defective. And then turn around and call the warranty line at that the store had given me, in which they turned around and said they would not reimburse me if the mattress was indeed faulty.
All I'm seeking is a mattress that does not cause my back suffering and Mattress Firm has failed to even do that noir stand by the product they sell and instead is trying to force a faulty product off on me and forcing me to be stuck with a store credit as I do not have any interest in purchasing another mattress from a bunch of swindlers. I simply want my money back so I can go purchase a proper bed that will give me the sleep I desperately need. I'm currently being forced to borrow money to make payments on a bed I do not sleep on because I'm out of work on disability. The store even refused to print an additional copy of my receipt.

After writing the negative review here on Consumer Affairs I was contacted promptly by a Mattress Firm rep from headquarters in New York. His name is Adam and he was friendly and was intent on getting things resolved. He contacted the original salesman and found that he did submit a request to Mattress Firm to change my financing so we waited for the bank to receive an update. Adam called again to inquire of any change but nothing. We spoke on the phone he said he called the supervisor of the salesman and the request was put in so we waited longer because we thought it would be picked up eventually by the bank but I kept calling the bank and nothing had need changed.
Adam told me to let him know if after a month if it hadn't changed to call the bank with him on the phone line in a three way call and he would speak with them directly. I had some major events happen in my life and the mattress was not on my mind and months have gone by actually eight months, so now its January 2018 and things are back to normal so I contacted Adam and he remembered me and told me he would do everything possible to fix the financing issue. A week after speaking with Adam I received an email [affidavit] from Synchrony bank letting me know that everything had been fixed and my financing will be changed to the intended original five year no interest financing.
Thanks to Adam from Mattress Firm headquarters you have redeemed your company in my view. To the credit of Mattress Firm it took longer than expected because I had not communicated with Adam for months because of the major issues in my own life. Mistakes happen I understand and I do appreciate Adam doing all he could to make it right.

On May 26 2017 while my family and I were at the Sacramento County Fair we strolled past a Mattress Firm booth and was approached by a salesman. He asked if we needed a new bed and I said, "Actually we do because my current mattress gives me back pain." He showed us a few mattresses and I settled on one of them and he checked my credit and offered no interest for 60 months, with no money down and free delivery. The mattress came with an adjustable base. I asked about warranty and return and he said no problem they give a great warranty and returns can be made for up to the first 120 days. I had to get the mattress and was happy. He gave me an invoice which had the 60 month no interest financing highlighted by him. Then I got the bill in the mail. The bank is only giving no interest for one year. WHAT!
So I call the bank and they tell me to call Mattress Firm and tell them what happened and Mattress Firm will communicate with the bank which can take 7 to 10 business days to resolve. So I call the original salesman and after several texts he gets back and tells me his manager took care of it and it will take a few billing cycles to resolve. Meanwhile I'm paying a minimum payment significantly higher than what was originally thought. I now would like to return this mattress and base so I texted the salesman and am waiting to hear back from him. I was told I could return the bed within 120 days but after reading the fine print it looks like the base can't be returned. I feel like I was lied to and baited into buying under false terms. Buyer beware.

I had a bad experience as a consumer and customer of Mattress Firm. I have a bad back and after 2 mattress sets I had to request a refund. Mattress Firm did accommodate my request in that I was allowed to Return both sets, the policy did state they ask for consumers to Sleep at least 30 days. Here is my concern. I had to resort to using Genesis a creditor that Mattress firm has in home, my refund now consists of a split refund. My split refund was processed on or about 8/2/17, it is 8/14/17 Today and I have yet to receive either refund. My bank debit refund has not been returned. At this point I may Have to file a chargeback with my bank.
I have filed a complaint With CFPB simply because every consumer has a right to know Their refunds may take weeks to get processed. Mattress firm Refund policy should clearly state refunds take weeks. May Even take months According to John the manager at Town East Mattress Firm Clearance store. I could not get a clear response from any employee or the Store manager himself. I had to record a five minute conversation With John who could not tell me exactly when my refund would Be processed. Most store managers can clearly state the refund Policies.
I feel the refund policies are deceptive. Consumers have every right to a refund in a timely manner when making Over a 2 thousand dollar mattress purchase and now struggling To get my split refund. I want a clear explanation of when my split refund will be Returned to my bank card, and when Genesis creditor Will be refunded because it can cost a consumer per diem Interest charges and or they may have to make payments On the Genesis or whichever creditor financed their mattress Purchase because per the recorded conversation with John The manager he warned they didn't advise me not making My first payment to Genesis for my credit may suffer.
This is so deceptive. That is why I recorded the manager and want every Mattress Firm customer to know that Mattress Firm will honor their Refund policy but it feels consumers are almost punished For requesting a refund and made to wait until who knows How long before they will see their refund processed. Mattress Firm refund policy should warn consumers Clearly and in concise verbiage that refunds can Take weeks if not months. A "least 1 billing cycle" Or more for me to see my refund. When I reached out to a corp employee in Houston Texas I was rerouted to the store, I see no prompt Resolution yet. I can provide the recorded message with John the Manager and purchase/refund receipt upon Request. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has Received my complaint for review.

My daughter purchased a bed at Mattress Firm and recommended it. The sales lady was very polite, knowledgeable and nice. Also, the two young men who delivered the Serta iComfort we bought did a good job. It's a little bit hard but because I have some back issues, the soft bed was too soft and our only complaint is that it's supposed to have a cooling feature but we keep waking up hot. Other than that, it seems to have a very good quality and it's comfortable. It transfers very little motion and we're pretty happy with it.

I bought a set of Simmons Beautyrest mattress for my parents last September. They don't use it often. But last night, a guest couple slept on it and the mattress sank badly, especially on one side. It was very embarrassing even though the mattress was not a cheap one. I called the company and the representative told me that I have to pay for the inspection fee to get the mattress inspected for the defects. The self inspection will involve measurement and taking pictures. I don't understand why they can't simply send the instructions via email. After I spent hundreds of dollars for the mattress, I still have to pay more for inspecting the defects. This is ridiculous.

This past Saturday afternoon my wife and I stopped in the Hyde Park (Cincinnati, Ohio) location of The Mattress Firm. We were looking to replace our mattress which had much of its side support gone. Upon entering the store we were greeted by Christopher ** the store manager. I must, admit I was most pleasantly surprised by his most sincere and warm welcome. Having been in sales myself I knew a what constitutes a pushy salesman and Chris was the exact opposite. His engaging smile and friendly demeanor put my wife Bonnie and I at ease.
I am handicapped and I do use a walker explain to Chris that we are looking for a firm mattress with strong Springs is many nights because of my sleep problem I sit on the side of the bed, which I know is the no no but I can't help it. Chris was gracious and showed us the Simmons Beautyrest Firm he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. At no time did he put any sort of pressure on making us feel after trying out all the beds that met our requirements it's to be our decision. I can't honestly remember I have had such A pleasurable experience buying any. Chris may the whole transaction easy he is outstanding salesman and quit it and I don't like to herself but to the Mattress firm is well. Please extend our sincerest thanks to Chris for hey job well done. Keep up the good work Mattress Firm.

One of my friends told me to go Mattress Firm. The rep was really nice. I live in Florida but I need the mattress for a house in Brooklyn. Also, they were very knowledgeable and the delivery team was great. I purchased the Serta king-sized mattress and it exceeds all of my expectations. I am thinking about using them again for another mattress purchase in Florida.

Mattress Firm was one of the couple of places to buy from in our city. They were preferred based on the comments online, and had a reasonable price. We got the adjustable bed which we wanted and the mattress. The salesman was knowledgeable and he treated us kindly. The delivery team came in quickly and efficiently and got everything set up. We wanted the sheets that the salesman recommended but we had trouble getting them because we're isolated in Kona. They came the first time I ordered online but then when I went and ordered another it was very difficult to get anything ordered. I was able to get it but it was annoying that took a while.

My husband and I shopped into Mattress Firm In Rockford Illinois. I needed to replace an old mattress. Kyle was our salesperson and he made our experience a very pleasant one. He also went above and beyond to help me find the correct mattress and stay within our budget. I can't say enough nice things about this young man. I would recommend this store to everyone. We purchased an adjustable base and mattresses (Split King) July 8, 2017 with the expectation the bed would be delivered within a few weeks. We were surprised to get a text on July 15 at 8:23pm the delivery would happen the next day. In all fairness, they did try to call earlier in the day and left a VMM which we had not yet retrieved. Unfortunately we were not available the next day (especially on such short notice) and gave the sales guy a few options of days which we could take delivery. After many texts back and forth (the sales man was pressuring us to take delivery by the 18th so they could hit sales goals - not our problem...), we let him know it was not possible and we ended the texts at 8:48p or so we thought. We were SHOCKED to receive a text 12:20AM with him trying to pressure us to take delivery that day after 4PM - BTW, we had already told him we would be at a funeral...
Long story a bit shorter, we agreed on delivery the following weekend. Not to our surprise, one of the mattresses came damaged and we refused delivery. We then reached out to the sales guy as we needed the bed right away, as we had disassembled our current bed and our mattress was on the ground. The sales guy had no sense of urgency (we were now in the early stages of the next sales period so he was not worried about final numbers) so we told him to cancel the order due to no recovery or sense of urgency to fix the issue. At this point we could only imagine the service we would receive should something happen after delivery.
The next day we were contacted by a "supervisor". He offered us $1,500 off the order and would have the mattresses sent up from another location as the mattresses we ordered were out of stock in the local area. Because I was beyond frustrated at the point, I had my husband call the supervisor back to discuss. My husband requested the supervisor send an email on company letterhead explaining the terms of the agreement and the delivery would take place within 2 weeks. Of course the email never came and we have since walked into the local Mattress Firm, returned the bedding which was sent to us and canceled the order. We would rather pay more than deal with the horrible customer service we received. Disaster Avoided!!!
Updated on 09/20/2017: We opted to give them a 2nd chance after a corporate representative reached out to us to address our initial concerns of lack of customer service. HUGE mistake on our part. Round two was no better than round one. We purchased a bed from Mattress Firm on September 10, 2017 at the San Mateo location. Delivery date was set for the following Saturday (16th) and we were assured there would not be an issue. On the 12th I reached out to April in the corporate office (the person who assisted us with our first debacle) who assured me she would make sure the process was a smooth one but was off on Friday so she could not check the day before. Sure enough, Friday afternoon we received a message from Katie stating the delivery once again would not happen on Saturday.
Worse, Katie could not provide us with a date and time we would receive the mattress stating "hopefully" we can get it to you the following weekend. HOPEFULLY? Are you serious? My husband called Katie back and asked to speak to our sales person Jaime, who also identified himself as the manager of the store, and was told he was not in but she would be sure to have Jaime call us on Saturday morning. Well, when we went into the store at 1:40 pm on Saturday to cancel our order (after spending the morning and $12k at Sleep Number). Katie told us they had been busy throughout the day and she did not have a chance to call us and let us know Jaime had not come in. Again, another display of the customer service you will receive at Mattress Firm. We literally paid more than double what would have paid at Mattress Firm to NOT have to deal with the lack of customer service.
As for any type of recovery, we did also email April (the girl from the corporate office) who has now offered us "corporate pricing" to "ensure that you experience no further inconvenience" - Sorry April, cannot fool us a third time. As I stated in my conversation to April on the 12th, this can go one of two ways and it was Mattress Firms (and frankly your) responsibility to make this right and you both failed.

I spent just about 3 Thousand dollars on the world's crappiest mattress. As I lay in bed at night I casually fall towards the center. That's because it has sunk. I have never woke up less refreshed than when I laid down for bed! I can't wait to get this lump of springs and patchy spots of comfort paid off. I will never shop there again.

I was looking for a bed for my husband. He has diabetes and he had a hard fit. I bought an adjustable Tempur-Pedic from Mattress Firm and I got exactly what I wanted. Then, I bought the adjustable base for my Stearns and Foster Queen. At both times, Mattress Firm was on time and their sales reps were great. It was a good experience. I got what I would consider a top quality product for a very reasonable price.
The rep that was in Colorado Springs went to the store and was very nice. I was trying to buy something inexpensive but I saw this bed and I said that my husband had to have this one. He got it right out to us and my husband absolutely love it. He puts his feet up in the air and what was important to me was getting him taken cared of. The gentlemen that delivered my husband’s bed set it up, took everything out and did exactly what the salesman said they would do. They were nice, very polite and professional. However, the guys that delivered mine were not so much. They said that they would remove the mattress and the frame and take them out. But, they walked in and said, “We're not touching the frame, you know. Now, what do you want to do?” They just put the mattress over the frame which I didn’t like but they were polite. Overall, I was very happy with the service that I got except the guy that wouldn’t take the frame off.

The sales rep was very helpful and explained all the different types of mattresses, size differences, and what would work and whatnot. It was excellent dealing with him. I visited the Melrose Park location to purchase a mattress and box spring. The sales guy was very nice and professional. I paid cash for my mattress and box spring with delivery to occur several days later. I went online to their website and saw a better mattress that was a web only deal, I had a in line convo with a rep from Mattress Firm. He informed me to go back in store and get refund because I wait until the next day my money would be deposited and I would have to wait for a check to be mailed out. Well, I did just that only to be informed he couldn't refund my cash!! Needless to I say I've called customer service and keep getting the run around. This occurred on July 31st and I still haven't. Y money, and the web sale is off. Will never shop here again.

I returned a mattress a day after I received it, because it was really poor quality. A month later, I am still fighting with the company to get a refund. Their policy is to refund you 10 days after receipt. Mattress Firm has had the merchandise back for over 30 days, but I am still getting the runaround with this company. Never buy a mattress from Mattress Firm. Horrible customer service.

We needed a new mattress. We purchased one at Mattress Firm before and had been satisfied with it and this time, we got a pillow top mattress. The sales reps gave us time to look around and test different mattresses. They were able to answer all our questions and we had a very pleasant experience. We scheduled a home delivery and the delivery team was very clean and quick. They came in, put little foot booties on and took out my old mattress. The new mattress has been fine for the people who use it and I would go back to Mattress Firm when I need a new one.

They delivered me a mattress I do not like. Next day called store and was told I have to keep it 30 days. Now mattress will sit in the corner so it does not get damaged. I have to pay my credit card company all for a mattress I know I don't want.

He answered all my questions, explained to me all the options that I had, and helped me out in carrying the queen mattress to my car. It was a fast and efficient experience.

Please note I had Sleepy's resolve my first complaint when they allowed me to pay an additional $330.00 for THIS NEW NIGHTMARE OF A MATTRESS. We are now out close to $900.00 & my 86 year old mother is in debilitating pain & literally cannot get up or out of this new SERTA mattress. I had to pay 40 bucks to have a mattress marshal come to my house. She examined the bed & found that it collapsed & the inside was sagging & was out of place. She submitted a claim that was denied.
Since then, with close examination, I FOUND THAT THEY DELIVERED THE WRONG MATTRESS. I went to the store & was told it was the same thing? Really? Would anyone out there accept a Chevy, when they purchased a Mercedes. I am hoping Mattress Firm will make this right. My poor mom deserves to get an upgrade (w/o us having to pay more) after they made her suffer for over two years? NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

Earlier this year we bought a mattress at one of Mattress Firm's SF locations - The sales person was nice and helpful, and as we finalized the sale he mentioned that the base and box spring are free with the purchase of the mattress. Happy with the sales process, I sent a friend there who was offered the same deal. He already had a bed so said he doesn't need it. The sales person reminded him that it's free, but my friend just asked him not to include it in the delivery since he doesn't have any use for it. Surprisingly, he then received a $300 discount. Great tactics calling something "free" when you just bundle it into the price.
Fast forward 5 months, the bed started squeaking all over and felt flat out broken on one side. We rotated the mattress to understand which part is broken and realized it's the box spring. Called customer support for warranty claims only to be told that since we got it "free" it's not covered by warranty and they will not do anything about it. Instead, I was offered a discount if I want to BUY another box spring there. I said that I know of a case when someone who didn't want the "free" accessories received a discount, but the representative of course didn't believe it happened. Besides the fact that I wish I had turned down the box spring to begin with (and would probably get a discount), I really don't get how a respected retailer thinks it's ok that a product they distribute breaks after a few month, and not offer a compensation. They lost me as a customer.

Mattress Firm is a nationwide company but they had more of a local feel to them and they did quite well with their customer service. We have used them a couple of times now and this last time, we bought a Sealy mattress and the box springs. The sales representatives were helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. We had our purchase delivered and the delivery guys were really nice, polite, and helped me move the old mattress out of the way. The new mattress is good and we are liking it. We are satisfied in our experience.

On July 20 I ordered a mattress online. I didn't see anywhere that they would take my old mattress so I called the very next morning. When they informed me they wouldn't take it, I canceled my order and asked to have my credit card reimbursed. I was told it would take 5-7 days. I have made 3 phone calls and still DO NOT have my $431 returned to me! It's been almost 3 weeks!!! They first told me the "vendor didn't inform them that the mattress wasn't sent out!" The funny thing about that is I canceled the mattress order with the Mattress Firm online phone number! What vendor??!! Sounds like a company not backing their promises! Beware of doing business with them! I HAD been a customer with Sleep Train here in Sacramento for 30 years! Once Mattress Firm took over it went downhill!! Thoroughly disgusted!

I had a recommendation from my friend to try Mattress Firm. Plus my wife had an accident and she needed something like a hospitable bed. The reps were very helpful and they explained everything. There were a lot of choices and they let us try and lay on the beds like we’re home. I found out that the frame was good, so I decided to buy. We bought two beds. One is adjustable, and the other one is just steady for me. The delivery team was very quick and nice. The only problem is they took the mattress but left the frame, so we had to throw the frame away. All in all, it was a very nice experience and if I have to buy a mattress again, I’ll go back there. I've already referred Mattress Firm as well.

We had a mattress from Sleepy’s that needed to be replaced and it failed the warranty. Mattress Firm honored the warranty and we only had to pay $33 for the twin, extra-long mattress that we bought. It’s similar to what we had but it’s not meeting expectations. It has a sinkhole on it already and we’ve had it for only a month. The sales rep was fine but I’m cautious about the experience.

Mattress Firm is not far from my office. I was in and out in less than half an hour. I went in, told them what I was looking for, they gave me some options, I laid down and made a choice. The representative was very helpful and there was a sale. I bought one where the mattress was not very deep because the previous mattress that my mother bought from them has become difficult for her to get in and out of. Now, she can sit on the bed and watch TV while on the floor. It was an extremely positive experience.

My girlfriend was going to Mattress Firm and I went with her. I just wanted to start looking for a mattress and I wasn't planning on buying but I decided I've been putting it off long enough and I better pick something that day and have it sent to my house. I also didn’t want to have to come back. I have this great big bed, and it has some specific things that I wanted such as a headboard to be attached to the frame, so I was buying a new frame, and the mattress to be lower. These were the things I asked about and the salespeople in the Mattress Firm store were wonderful. The lady there was very helpful. I got all my questions answered and bought the bed impulsively.
I then waited for my unit to arrive, however it did not come when they first said they could deliver and they had to reschedule delivery a couple of times. When it came, they called me several times during the evening and said that they still had more deliveries. They got to my house about 10:00 or 10:30 that night. I told them that was okay. I wanted the mattress and I wanted them to bring it over. They did and the two fellows came inside. I showed them the bedroom and told them all these things that I’d already told the salespeople. The fellows told me that they did not have any tools so they couldn't attach the headboard to the frame. They also told me that they used to bring their own tools, but the company stopped doing that. I told them that that wouldn't do.
We then started talking about how I wanted the mattress to be lower, so I had bought legs that would drop it down. They made me think that it probably wasn’t going to work the way the saleslady had promised. I wasn’t really happy about that either. It was late and I was tired and cranky so I just told them to not unload the unit and go. Also, I have a credit on my charge for about $1,000. I thought they were going to do a refund by sending me back the total amount in a check. But apparently, they handle it differently, and so they gave me some kind of a temporary credit. It was confusing.
They were really very nice, but not at all what I expected from a company that’s delivering me a brand-new mattress that’s 3,000 some odd dollars. They were tired and I could tell that they wanted to leave. I was pretty unhappy that I see their company all over the place and these two fellows that delivered made it clear that they thought maybe the company was going to be out of business because they have found a lot of people that are unhappy with their arrangements. I'm going to stay with the bed I have. I decided it hadn’t been the right time for me after all and I'm not buying the mattress from them or anybody else.

We had been on a queen-size mattress that my husband had since in high school and we decided to get a new one. I had a conversation with a friend who purchased a mattress on Memorial Day and she said they had a great deal and that they love their mattress. My husband and I went ahead and walked into our local Mattress Firm on an early Friday afternoon.
We had a super patient salesperson. I read online that when you’re trying to find a mattress, you should take your time and lie on every mattress and not to make a rash decision and so we did that. We spent an hour and a half in the store and had lain on many mattresses. My husband likes a firm mattress and I like a soft one. We took our time and the salesperson was very helpful in informing us. He said, “She probably won’t like that,” or “This might be a little too soft for him.” He gave us information about what the different types of mattresses were, about their longevity and the coolness at night. It was really a great experience.
We knew we wanted a king and it was going to be a large investment. We picked something that was quality and we're very excited and thrilled about the purchase. We got a king-sized Beautyrest Black Hybrid mattress and the salesperson let us know that there was a four months trial period and that if for some reason we needed to return it, we absolutely could but we won't because we love our mattress. It’s great and the same can be said about their delivery system.
The guys didn't wear their shoes in the house and instead wore booties over them. Everything was completely put together. There was no mess because they took all the plastic and trash with them. One minute we didn't have a bed and 20 minutes later, we had one. It was a little tough for about a week though. The mattress was a little firm coming straight from the factory but every night it got better and now, it’s my favorite place in the home. Everything was really top-notch and we appreciate it.

I have recently purchased a Hybrid Mattress from Mattress Firm in Homewood, IL. The service that was provided by Sales Associate Al was impeccable! He was very knowledgable of the entire mattress collection. He was patient when I couldn't decide between two great mattresses and most importantly Al did not hassle me! I feel great about the purchase even though I spent over my budget. The Hybrid Mattress feels like a dream and the pillows that were included are amazing. I purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm on July the 25th. I was very happy with my salesperson and with my purchase. My mattress was to be delivered on July 27th between 4:00 and 8:00 pm. I took off work and waited for them to come. About 7:00 pm I still hadn't heard from anyone and I called the store and talked to Brad. I was told I would not be receiving my mattress that night, that everyone had gone home. My complaint is I took off work, I was told it would be arriving at a certain time and NO ONE had the courtesy to call me to let me know anything. I was told it was a clerical error. I think there should be a better way to handle this. I wasn't happy and the employee was very rude. I did receive my mattress the following night around 9:00 pm. The delivery people were awesome and were very nice. My complaint is the fact that no one contacted me and I lost time off from work. I will not purchase from this company again.

On Saturday July 29th we went to Mattress firm to purchase a NEW bed, we left excited that our new bed would be delivered on sunday July 30. Great customer service, couldn't have been more pleased with everything. Sunday my husband had put the old box springs out on the front porch to "help" them out save some time (our mistake). The delivery men showed up, YAY. After looking at our box Springs and seeing a dead bug in some dust they decided not to let us have our bed. He took a picture of said bug and sent it to his warehouse. They claimed we had bed bugs and refused to deliver, got back in their truck and left. Now we are pissed off. I spent 4 hours trying to find out what to do next with NO answers. Not one person would help us. Then I got someone on the phone from online sales who called the warehouse and found out that the only way we could have our beds delivered was if we had the house inspected for bed bugs.
It had been determined by them that we had a stage 1 bed bug infestation. Now I have gone postal. I wake up monday morning, call an exterminator at PCT, Chris came and did an inspection. He also looked at the picture the gentleman took and said it was a beetle (WOW). He says this happens often when buying a bed even to himself. He gives me the paperwork needed to prove we have no bed bugs and I send it to our sales girl. She calls back and says, "Your bed will be delivered tomorrow between 9-5 (Tuesday)." OK great finally we are getting somewhere. Then... I get an email Monday afternoon.
"I had tried to call you at the phone number provided of **, but that is not a working number. I wanted to speak to you about your delivery scheduled for tomorrow. We wanted to inform you that, based on what the delivery team observed when they attempted the previous delivery, any delivery attempt to your door would be for merchandise that does not have any warranty. If you would want a warranty on the merchandise, you would have to provide us with a letter from a licensed exterminator on their letterhead stating that the home is free and clear of bed bugs. Please call me at bla bla bla if you would like to discuss this further, or email me at bla bla bla if you have the necessary extermination inspection report. If we do not hear from you, then the delivery would be made tomorrow with no removals and with no warranty. The delivery would be made at the door."
I Call the man and he has me email him the inspection report after telling me he wants to help us get everything right. As long as we prove we do not have bed bugs we can have our bed and the 10 year warranty. So we settle everything and my delivery is set for Tuesday. I get a call monday evening from Adam, and he proceeds to tell me they can not deliver our bed tuesday. It will have to be Wednesday again 9-5 delivery window. So now again no bed. We are so disgusted by all of this and I will never ever purchase anything from mattress firm again. They turned an exciting experience into hell over a beetle on the box spring. Let's see what happens today. To be continued... Oh and let me add... We had to pay 79.50 to have this inspection. At least we now know we have no bugs.

We’ve purchased from Mattress Firm in the past and had a good experience so we decided to buy from them again. And also, we could get the bed from them in a pretty tight time frame because we had company coming that weekend. The sales rep that we dealt with was extremely helpful in giving us different options that would work within our financial constraints and gave us some different alternatives for how we could get the actual bed that we wanted. We got a king size Serta iComfort mattress, box spring and frame. The bed is good and we're still getting used to being on a memory foam.
However, we had an issue with the delivery service. On the first day, they only had the mattress and the frame, and they didn't have the box spring. They put together the frame and it was lopsided. Part of that might have been our floor, but it was really extreme so it was definitely the frame. They came out the next day, delivered the box spring, and fiddled with the frame. The frame was not flushed with the floor and they told us that once we put everything on, it will be. We put everything on and it’s still not flushed with the floor. By that point, we were pretty frustrated and we told them we can't keep them coming back to our house. They come during work hours. So we were just like, “Whatever, we’ll just buy our own frame.” But that frame should’ve gone back and they should've delivered another frame but they said there's nothing they can do. We called back the sales rep and he was on it, trying to sort it out for us as quickly as possible.

I was running from a Pit Bull that a man had on a leash. It looked like he couldn't handle the dog and I can't walk very good so I went into the Mattress Firm store. At the time, I was in the process of buying an adjustable bed from another company. But Mattress Firm's sales rep was telling me that I can get the adjustable frame and use any mattress on it. He was also very good and very responsive when I called. We kept missing each other for a while then he went on vacation. But when he got back, he called me. I then went around the store, signed the papers and purchased a Beautyrest and the adjustable frame. I was happy I got a good deal because I got it at a zero-interest rate.
The delivery crew came in, set the bed up and did it very quickly. They wrapped the old mattress up really good and took it out. Everything worked out fine and it was a great experience from the customer service to the delivery. I'm enjoying my bed and I love it. I was diagnosed with arthritis and sometimes my legs swell up so it's very good for me to elevate my legs and my neck with my Mattress Firm bed. I'd also tell others to purchase one and get the adjustable frame.

Pretty straightforward: Mattress Firm sales associates are liars, and the corporate support staff is no help. My wife and I went to look at mattresses on 7/22. The sales associate showed us a great-feeling mattress that was on sale and available for a 60-month interest-free financing promotion. I went back to the store the next day to purchase the mattress under the terms discussed one day earlier. After running my credit and creating a Mattress Firm credit account, the sales associate informed me that the mattress qualified for only 48 months no-interest financing. I said "okay."
Then he tells me that he was mistaken again: the mattress did not cost enough, so only 36 months’ 0 financing was allowed… And then he said, “Oh wait, only 24 months.” Eventually, the salesperson said that the sales price was just $40 short of qualifying for the 36 months’ no-interest financing, so he told me he would run it for $40 and that I could call him after delivery for a $40 credit. In the end, we were told 60 months no-interest financing, but had to agree to a shady method of getting 36-months free financing.
I was okay with all of this, but I was ordering the mattress for a home that we’ll move into in late August, so I instructed the sales associate to schedule delivery for 8/26. The sales associate said that he could not schedule delivery that far in advance, and he proposed scheduling it for 7/31 at the outset and then rescheduling a few days later.
I called on 7/29 to reschedule the delivery, and the same sales associate told me that he had already rescheduled the delivery for 8/26--a big fat lie! After 6 PM on 7/30, I received an automated call from the distribution center alerting me that delivery was scheduled for approximately 4 PM on 7/31--to a house at which I don’t live! This is where things really took a turn for the worst.
With the store closed for the evening, I called the corporate customer service numbers and chatted with a half-dozen customer service agents trying to reschedule the delivery or cancel my order--all to no avail. I was continuously told that only the store that sold me the mattress could reschedule delivery or cancel my order. So the next morning, I call into the office and tell them that I will be late. I get to the store when it opens at 10 AM to find out that the computers are down so there is nothing they can do. They send me to a neighboring store, same deal.
Finally, I get to a store that has “working computers.” However, same thing--they can’t reschedule or cancel my order now that the delivery is en route. Livid. I get online, explain the situation to a customer service representative, who says that she can’t track my order because her system is down. Ridiculous. This was a bait-and-switch scheme from the outset. I made the purchase based on fraudulent misrepresentations intended to induce me into making a purchase pursuant to terms that they never intended to follow through on. Still trying to cancel the order. If I am charged, I’ll sue. Frankly, I might sue anyway.

My wife and I spent $3000 on an adjustable base bed. Ever since day one we've had nothing but problems. 1- It's not comfortable at all. 2- I wake up multiple times each night. (Currently writing this review at 3:37 AM local time.) 3- The base creaks, pops, pings, crunches and makes all sorts of other weird noises anytime you sit or lay on it, the one in the store didn't do that, why should this one??
When we call the sales guy he says we have to call the warranty department, when we call the warranty department they say we have to call the manufacturer and when you call the manufacturer you get nowhere. I'm a simple person and easy to please, I shouldn't have to go through hell and back to get a decent nights sleep.

The customer service is helpful and they answered all my questions. The delivery is fast and they let me know when they will deliver the mattress. The bed is soft and it fulfilled my request. On the other hand, I returned the bed to their branch at Flushing because they thought it's too soft for them and they bought another one.

Mattress Firm was right around the corner from where I live. I got a twin mattress from them and then a trundle bed underneath. It's for the spare bedroom. It was okay with their sales rep but he was gloating about spending $60,000 and I'm a single mom spending $200 panicking. He kept bragging about his children making all kinds of money and I didn’t want to hear about it. I wasn't happy with him and if I have to go back to that guy, I won’t. Other than that, I picked up my purchase that day and got it on my truck. I like the fact that I could do that. I'm fine with the mattress and had no issues with Mattress Firm itself.

Delivery service incapable: I bought a new frame for my existing bed. It was a folding frame, to replace my existing folding frame. After waiting 2 days the delivery truck came. The delivery guy (with a man bun) said they could not move my existing frame (their warehouse said they weren't allowed to touch it). So they wanted to take my new one back to the ware house and I was so mad I went back to my bedroom and pushed the mattress off to the side, unplugged my motor, flipped up my very heavy bed frame and slid it down the hall. When I went back outside the delivery guys had LEFT!!!
I called the salesman and said tell them to come back. The sales man got a hold of the warehouse and said the delivery guys could not come back in the same day. I told the salesman to refund all my money and keep the new frame and I will NEVER buy from them again. I was the only person home and those 2 lazy ** guys wouldn't even move the frame under the mattress!!! I was so mad I moved it myself but it was so heavy for me, by myself!!! When they could have done it SO easily. I've NEVER seen men behave like that!!! What is wrong with Mattress Firm to treat a customer like this??? I am so confused and disappointed with this company!!

I knew two people that needed a mattress and box spring really bad and I wanted to get these fast. One of my daughters-in-law had just gotten a mattress from Mattress Firm and she was happy with it. They were recommended to me, so I got a single mattress and box spring from them. The sales rep was very courteous and informative. He did very well and asked me some questions, such as if I wanted the mattress to be firm. It was my first time buying a mattress so I answered as best as I could, but I didn't know of special things that I should have told them.
One thing is that I'm a senior and it’s hard for me to get into the bed if it is high, but the sales reps didn’t ask me about that. That might be a good thing for the sales reps to ask because if the people purchasing the bed are seniors or have a hard time climbing up in the bed, they need the box spring to be low. I also wish the mattress had a little more bounce to it. I need that because it’s hard for me to get out of bed. That way, when it’s time to get up, I would have a little more bouncing to push me, but I don’t know if they have that since most people don't have that problem, but only seniors or people with certain health discomforts.
The first time the Mattress Firm guys were supposed to come, they ran really late. They called me up and wanted to come and get their merchandise here at 10 PM or after, and that’s late. I told them that I was in a building that wasn’t a proper home, and we couldn’t let them come that late, so they had to come another day, during the daytime.
My problem is that when I was having issues, such as the bed being too high, and tried to call Mattress Firm, they didn’t have prompt response. It was constantly very stressful when I called the company and I shouldn’t have to be stressed like that. They need to make reaching the reps less stressful and let people get to somebody. With all of the things that the reps were saying, nothing really fit me, but I just called back and asked for a salesperson that can be better. Nevertheless, the mattress I got from Mattress Firm is a good product and I’m enjoying it, and overall my experience with Mattress Firm was satisfactory.

We purchased our second mattress from Mattress Firm. We love the bamboo cotton sheets. Those are the nicest things and they really are a fit for me. The sales representative was outstanding. She was great and she knew her product backward and forward. She also knew exactly what to show us and what she was doing. I recommended her to everyone. The delivery driver was great as well. I have bad hot flashes and when I heat up the entire bed, my husband has to get up and go to the couch or the guest bedroom. Now, having this new cool mattress with the gel in it and the night pillows, he won't go anywhere and it stays covered up. I wake up and my husband is still there. He loves it and it's wonderful.

Mattress Firm was convenient. This time, I bought two queen mattresses and box springs from them. The sales rep was helpful and nice. He wasn't pushy. He wanted me to bring my daughter back to see the same mattress. We took his name and went back the next day with her. The product is good. My kids have been sleeping on it. I had to swap my mattress out and I told the Mattress Firm sales rep that I would not suggest for somebody that was used to sleeping in a king size to go to a queen size. We went around and around about this situation. I was trying to get things worked out where I could stay with them but he didn't want to cooperate with trying to make it right. I was worried about my credit and if I was being billed for it or not. I could never get anything organized on it and it was a very stressful ordeal.
I called Mattress Firm and told them another mattress place was willing to give me exactly what I want for the same amount and that I was going to cancel the order and go with the other company. They decided they were going to work with me then which was all I've asked them to do from the very beginning. It wasn't an easy thing and the rep talks in a nice way but in a smart aleck-y way. The other bed that I had seemed thicker and higher like there was another box spring with it and he wasn't willing to bend.
Also, I bought that cooling pad thing. I got a queen size and I didn't open the box. I asked him if he could also change that as well and he said they couldn't. It's non-refundable. I was spending $2,500 and they can't swap out for me something that's never been opened. I'm stuck with it and I think he should have replaced it with a king to go with my new king set. He was also determined to tell me he knows what got picked up but he wasn't there to confirm that. He's trying to bully me in a nice way. If they would, I still got the queen size and would love for them to exchange that for a king size for all the trouble and to make things right.

I ordered a mattress and a frame from their online store. Gave them a separate billing address which was my mom's and a shipping address which was mine. Come to find out today that they have shipped both items to the billing address, say they have no record of my address even though I have the confirmation email saying and "SHIPPING ADDRESS" and the CORRECT ADDRESS. They shipped both my packages to the wrong place which is over an 1.5 hours away from me. Cannot get a manager on the phone after 4 attempts in the past 2 hours and now it's looking like I'm gonna have to come out of pocket and rent a truck and drive through to counties to fix their screw up. If they don't call me back due to this and fix this every person I know will hear this story as well as everyone reading this. Also have offered to send them a copy of the confirmation order they sent that proves this and they just keep saying they have no record.

My house caught on fire and we had to replace all the contents of the house. I was shopping around and I liked the deal that I had gotten for the Fourth of July weekend sale. The salesman was great. I bought a Beautyrest, a Memory Foam and another bed from Mattress Firm. The delivery team was fine and everything was good. They brought everything that I got and I set them up myself. I went back to Mattress Firm today but the salesman we had before wasn’t working. We were trying to get a fourth mattress and I’m going to try back at another time when he’s around.

Mattress Firm used to be Sleepy’s down the street and I try to keep business in the neighborhood. My excessively large dog blew through a futon mattress and the futon. So, my buddy gave me bunk beds and I got a full-sized foam mattress for the bottom and a twin on the top, for the dogs. Great Danes need their own space and that was his space. I decided to go to Mattress Firm and buy a couple of inexpensive foam mattresses. My experience was awesome. Richard, the gentleman who helped me out, was phenomenal.
My dog adopted that bed right away. There's a king size comforter wrapping it up. I have it in a bag in case there are any incidents where one of them gets sick on it. He loves it and I started sleeping in the top one. But now that I have a bad back, I have a three quarter-inch piece of plywood under that thin foam mattress. For me, it’s like lying on the floor with a comforter. But I have no complaints about the product. Things are holding up well. It was the most pleasurable experience dealing with everybody. And things were there when they said they were going to be there. I would definitely recommend Mattress Firm.

Buyer beware. My issue was not with this store in particular but with a purchase made at the fair. This review is for the company across the board and not a particular location. My purchase of a massage chair from the fair was a joke from beginning to end. My situation is solved not quite to my satisfaction but I am out from under them. Understand their return policies before purchasing anything from them. They definitely will not be upfront about them. I do not know if the policy is different with each item but they had a $750 restocking fee on the chair I purchased. This number is absurd. It was a floor model. How hard would it be to put it back onto the floor.
The sales person Jose ** was very dishonest throughout the whole ordeal. He promised free delivery and set up while he had me trying out the chair to close the deal. He tried to charge me for those services. When this was discovered by myself I spoke with him and was told I would need to accept delivery before he would be able to refund the charges. He states the computer system will not allow changes until the delivery was accepted. Policy states with a floor model all sales are final upon acceptance of the item. He became agitated that I refused to accept the chair without him making the changes and giving me the changes in writing.
I asked he cancel the chair unless he was able to do this. This is when I was being threatened with the $750 fee. I got him to send me a text that I would be refunded the charges. Delivery day comes. No call and no show with my chair. He had never set it up for delivery. I asked he cancel it. He agrees to give me a full refund. Just when I thought it was over, he starts sending me messages how he will charge me the fee and how Mattress Firm is a 5 billion dollar company (why I care about that is beyond me). I again said to cancel it and I would take the fee up with corporate and he just stated to go ahead and stated he is not a liar. I never accused him of being a liar so he must have felt guilty or something.
A few hours later I receive a call with a delivery window after I asked for this to be canceled. This was not the agreed upon date originally so I was not home and figured he had not taken care of the cancellation yet. A week goes by and I had written corporate as I told him I was. All had been quiet. Then I receive a call from them trying to deliver the chair again. I did not say to not bring it for I can't believe it but I almost considered still taking it because this is something I wanted. I receive a call from the driver about an hour before the delivery time and he apologizes and tells me he does not know why but my chair is not on his truck. He does not know where it is. Wow! I then finally receive a call from the corporate offices.
I explained the issues and just asked for it to be canceled at this point. I was threatened with the $750 fee again. I stopped her in her tracks when I let her know I had a text message from Jose ** stating he would give me a full refund. She of course would not take my word for it. I sent it to her email. Along with that I told her in the email I would consider taking possession of the chair if they gave me a further discount for all the time and effort I have had to put into this disappointment.
She states back the chair has already been restocked since I refused it at the time of delivery. Not possible since the driver never had it on the truck and never came to my home. She had been told this already. I guess it is hard to keep all of the lies and deceit in line. The point is be careful when dealing with this company. Make sure you review policies and get everything in writing or you may just have a battle on your hands which is not fair to the consumer. They clearly don't care about satisfaction to the consumer. They are only lining their pockets with cash.

We got a Stearns and Foster queen size bed from Mattress Firm and it's extremely comfortable. We got an unbelievable bed for a really good price. The sales rep was great but the delivery was a little rockier. We were moving so we bought the bed for the new house. We bought it several weeks before we needed to have it delivered. There was a lack of clarity on when and where it’d be delivered though it was clear that day what we were asking for. My wife had changed the delivery date. They called and were still trying to deliver on the date but we didn’t have possession of the house yet. When we attempted to follow-up, I was not sure which store I had gone to. There are seven Mattress Firm stores in Glenwood and they are close to each other. We ended up having to make a couple of different calls. But the second person I dealt with was fine and they fixed the problem. Once it was settled, the delivery to the house was fine.

We were in need of some mattresses and we walked into Mattress Firm. The young man that worked there was so nice. We bought two mattresses. The sales rep was wonderful. He was not pushy, explained everything about the mattresses, the firmness and the softness, as well as the coolness and the pillows. The delivery team came to the house, put up the mattress and did a good job. They're really nice guys. We had an excellent experience with Mattress Firm. My son and I love the mattresses and we both sleep a lot better.

The response from the Account Specialist was amazing. Stenio called and left messages multiple times to make sure he reached me. I was busy during a week and unable to immediately resolve it, however, as soon as I called Stenio, we were on our way! After a few back and forth conversations, we were able to come to a resolution and I would like to say that today I will be walking into a mattress firm location with my papers to resolve this mattress problem. I am going to update my star rating for the way this was handled after getting into contact with the Account Specialist. Just like any other products, there will always be a few that did not meet the code and are faulty. Mattresses are just another manufactured item where this unfortunately happens. The only problem with this item is that it reminds you of it every night until it is resolved!

My wife and I purchased a mattress from our local Mattress Firm with specific needs. I weigh around 220 and she weighs 98 lbs. We specifically told the salesman that the weight difference caused her back problems and would cause her to roll into me. We were told that this mattress would do the trick and in less than a year, the same problems are happening and her back problems have returned. I tried to call for a warranty and apparently you have to pay to have this done. It makes no sense to have a faulty mattress and have to pay money to confirm that. Consumers, watch out! I am not even sure that this "Warranty Check" will allow us to change the mattress. This is a nightmare and I have to hear about it every morning because of the promised performance of the mattress. I am highly dissatisfied with the warranty hoops to jump through and the unknown possibility that it will be turned down.

It was good with the Mattress Firm sales reps and they somewhat had a pretty high level of knowledge of the products. The manager was really friendly and he knew his stuff but the girl was new and probably still learning the product which is understandable. He showed us off to different mattresses until we found the one we liked. We purchased the Push king-sized cooling bed with the memory foam and they sent the wrong bed frame. I got mad because they’re four miles away from my house and they couldn’t go pick it up, bring it back home and set it up. I had to go out of my way, pick up the right frame and put it together. It wasn't fun. They were supposed to take off the delivery fee and they were supposed to send me emails of the new bill which never got sent out. I gave up and I'm waiting for my bill to come in so I could see if it’s right or not. But I love the bed. My back isn’t hurting anymore and it's really nice and comfortable.

I purchased 4 mattresses, 2 box springs, and 2 adjustable bases. I was NEVER told that the adjustable bases were not returnable, NOR IS IT IN WRITING ON PAPERWORK. My new bed was delivered and the bases do not work with it, so we requested a return. Mattress Firm is refusing to take the bases back stating they told me verbally that they are not returnable, which is insane - they did not, and it's not in writing anywhere.

I recognized the name Mattress Firm and it was the first place we went to. The sales rep we had was one of the best customer service representatives I've ever worked. He was awesome. He explained everything very clearly, did not pressure us to buy and gave us time to pick which mattress fit us. We were stuck between two mattresses that we liked and he went through and gave us the pros of each, what body type and work environment we would want with the mattress. Then, we had it delivered and the guy was very courteous and he answered all my questions. We had an old mattress and box spring and were talking to him if they would take it. He explained how everything works and they ended up taking that for us which was awesome. I only have one complaint about the mattress and it's that it makes it 10 times harder to get out of bed to go to work. It's the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on.

When I bought a mattress from Mattress Firm in the past, I had a good experience with that purchase. This time, I am in menopause and I knew they had some products that help with cooling. So I purchased a cooling pillow, the queen size cooling pad, and two queen-sized sheets. The cooling pad didn't work like they said it was going to and they would not take it back. But the sheets are very nice.
I went through a program called Progressive Leasing for the purchase and if I had pushed it, Progressive would have done a return for me, but I would have to return everything. I liked the sheets and the pillows so I decided to keep those and I'm using the pad in a different bed as a padding. The sales rep that was there that day was friendly and helpful. But when I called back, he wasn’t the one I spoke to. It was a female and she was not very nice. And because they wouldn't take things back, I won't be using them anymore. The in-store service was good but the after service is not.

We bought a King Size mattress for our vacation home in March, 2017. We sleep on it at the most 8 days a month. It is already sagging. I had to order a kit and spend an entire day disassembling the bed to take some crazy pictures. It has to have an 1.5 sag. While I don't think it is quite that much, it is an entirely too much sag for my husband to get a good night's rest and unacceptable for a mattress that cost 800.00. We were assured that if we weren't happy we would have a warranty but no one ever told us about the kit and the inconvenience of having to take the pictures. Very unsatisfied customer!

Mattress Firm was nearby and convenient. Their sales reps were really easy to deal with, right to the point and are very honest guys. The mattress was very comfortable, not too soft, not too firm, just what we were looking for. We picked it up ourselves. The guys that were there helped me load the mattress up. I bought the Serta iSeries Hybrid from Mattress Firm. The sales rep was very helpful. We really had a good experience with him. When the mattress was delivered, there were some threads that were loose on their own, but they said it should be okay though I didn't like that part of it. The young lady said it shouldn't cause any problems, so I figured I'm not going to replace it. It's hard to find mattresses that really fit me. Right now, I'm getting adjusted to the bed. I'm not sure if it's really working out well, but I'm going to end up keeping it.

I recently purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm, it was a Sterns and Foster at a very reasonable price (I thought the price was low because it was a discontinued item). A month later I wake up with bed bug bites ugh... How does this happen. I have never had bed bugs. Do not trust this company, I am out of 800.00 and I still need a new mattress. I bet this mattress was a return, and if it was I wish they would have shared that information, I would not have purchased it. There should be something in place to protect the consumer against resale of return mattresses, if no more than the disclosure that it is a used mattress!!!

I had purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm eight years ago. When I needed to replace that mattress, I walked into the store again and found the mattress that I liked. I bought a king size one and a box spring. The customer service team did a really great job. They let us take our time to find the mattress that we liked and they held our hand through the whole process, as well as the delivery. The mattress is very comfortable. Mattress Firm was the mattress store in my area. I've never heard anything bad about it so I went there. It was daunting walking in because I have never had to buy a mattress before but the sales representative was really cool. She was very helpful and helped explain the process to me. I bought a queen size mattress and a box spring. I was shocked at the price and I went a little bit over the budget. But it was worth it because I know I going to keep it for the next 10 years. The mattress is in the storage right now because I haven't moved to where I'm going to be at, but I'm excited to try it out.

I called for a warranty claim dept who said I had to pay for the adjuster, she came weeks later and was rushed. She didn't explain the issue I called for when sending in info to Mattress Firm. Then Mattress Firm in return denied the claim because of what they called a stain on the mattress which is complete BS. The box spring's internal wood is cracked. They gave me a hard time on as well. These are expensive mattress ($1,500 per) are creaking and the box springs are cracked. I sat on the phone with them and was promised for now a new box spring (They didn't give any confirmation although I gave my email address) and their suggestion was try to clean the mattress and pay for adjuster again and resubmit. Classic runaround. Doubt I'll buy anything from this company again. Had better experience with smaller local places.

The salesman from Mattress Firm that was there for the evening in Manchester convinced me with the beds so I bought a couple of it. He was nice, honest and very good. He sat down, talked, explained and did everything he knew. It’s my first time to buy from them because it used to be Sleepy’s and they changed over to Mattress Firm. I picked up two boxes and beds to match the two frames and shipped them out to the island, then I got everything good. I liked them and they’re good so far. I didn’t put them up yet but I tested and checked them out and what they gave me were the same quality of bed they sampled. I also bought a couple of covers a few months ago for them. Everything went well, it couldn’t be better. I recommend them to people.

Mattress Firm had the products that I wanted. The sales rep was outstanding and the delivery people were very good as well. I got the Serta Perfect Sleeper and everything was great, very smooth, and quick. I couldn't have had a better experience.

I bought and paid in full for a mattress and foundation. Upon delivery the mattress had a hole and the box spring had 2 holes. I was delivered another set. When the delivery men stood the first mattress on its side to bring in the replacement I observed a dark brown stain on the bottom of it. As it was a pillow top and couldn't be flipped I would never have seen it. The stitching on the mattress was all coming out. I sent a picture of this to the store and was again told they would replace it but that I would have to wait.
This mattress was not the same mattress that I had tested out in the showroom. I had informed the company that I had a bad back and couldn't sleep on this as I could feel the pressure points in my back and hips. They offered no solution other than to wait. Since receiving my 3rd mattress I have not been contacted by Mattress Firm even after requesting to be both over the phone and online. Do yourself a favor go to someplace reputable that really cares about their products and their customers!!

I was on the lookout for a queen-sized mattress before July 4th and stopped at Mattress Firm’s location to see what they had. I was satisfied with what they offered and purchased the queen mattress from them. Their sales representative was excellent and very knowledgeable. He demonstrated the products, had me lie down on things and explained them. Plus, he was patient, attentive and courteous. The deliverers were extremely professional, courteous, in and out quickly, and came when they were supposed to. The whole experience was excellent.

We purchased a Tempurpedic mattress at the Mattress Firm location in Manchester, MO. When the mattress was sold to us, we were told "It is adjustable as needed and prevents any problems with back pain, headaches, neck problems and any upper respiratory problems. Product is guaranteed for life." We purchased the bed including mattress for $4500 through finance. After couple of months of purchase, when we brought to the store attention that we are still having back pain problems and respiratory issues, the store sales guy said, "The coils used for the bed will take time to adjust. Give it some time and let me know."
Later we found out the guy who sold us changed to different location, then moved to Illinois etc... We notified him several times and tried to work it out numerous times. We had a "lifetime warranty" on the bed. The product was sold to us and didn't meet the criteria of what was promised and we still have back and respiratory problems with it. When we called the store a week ago, we were told by the store guy that "There is nothing that we can do." We cannot continue to make payments to the finance company on this bed as we were sold a wrong product.

Mattress Firm was conveniently located and I purchased a mattress and a box spring from them. The mattress was like a memory foam and it had a split box spring. Their sales rep was super helpful and nice. I told him what budget I was looking for and what kind of use it was going to get, so he pulled out a couple of options and laid them down for me then was able to just talk through about what would be the best fit for me and my needs. I would totally go to him again. My mother was there when it was delivered and she had no complaints. The product was exactly what I was looking for. It was a very easy, friendly, convenient and helpful experience altogether.

Their price was reasonable and they’re only a block away in our neighborhood. The sales rep was very courteous and he explained everything to us. We're very pleased with everything so far. Mattress Firm had a sale going on for a holiday and we went there. We purchased a mattress and pillows on the same day. They didn't pressure us on our purchase. The salesperson was very understanding and made sure that she thoroughly explained everything and followed up with us. She allowed us to ask questions but was not go overboard with the explanation. She was friendly in general. I made my purchases with my wife and she likes the mattress which is more like a harder bed. It better than our last one. It takes a little while for your body to adjust to it though. I love my purchases and they've met my expectations completely. It was great.

I previously bought a spring from Mattress Firm about 10 years ago. Initially, I was going to grab coffee from Starbucks right next to Mattress Firm. I had no intention of going to the store, but I walked in and the staff were helpful and I liked the different options and the comfort. The way the salesperson explained the deals to me was too good to walk away from. In about 20 to 30 minutes, I’ve made the decision of buying a memory foam and it was very easy and informative for me. I still had the old mattress with me and I wanted to figure out what I would do with it before they delivered the new one. The rep said not to worry and that they'll take the old one away. He made the whole process easy for me. Plus, he was able to recommend the product that would fit my budget and help me throughout the whole purchasing process.
The mattress is firm to a point that I can sit on one corner and nothing can drop on the other side. I’m looking into changing some of the things like the salesperson showed me at the time, but so far it’s working. Overall, my experience was outstanding. I recommended a couple more people to buy from Mattress Firm, which I heard they did.

At the end of May 2017 we bought a $4000.00 mattress and base at the Home and Remodeling show at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center. I was assured by the salesman that I could change the base during the first 180 days. After receiving it we realized that the base was very uncomfortable and the whole combo was too high, thus very difficult to get in and out of it. I called two days later and they told me the salesperson would call me. That never happened. I called two weeks later and they took my name and number and assured me that they would notify the salesperson and his manager so they would call me but they also told me that I could change the mattress but not the base!!!
Reading the invoice I realized that that fact is expressed there. No changes or returns on the base (in open contradiction with the salesperson's claim). Nevertheless nobody call me. Somebody knows who their registered agent is so I can bring them to court? Thanks. And please: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PEOPLE!!!

We purchased a Simmons Beautyrest Bay Spring mattress on Dec 27, 2016. After a couple of months, we noticed sagging & lumpy. We could not return the mattress immediately as I am a Cancer & Stroke survivor & was in the hospital during the period that we noticed the issues. Earlier this month, we went to the local Mattress Firm store in Bloomingdale. The sales rep advised us to sell the mattress to get some money back. Very bad customer support. We cannot afford to buy a mattress twice a year & would like satisfaction on the warranty. I am very upset as I now have my leg pain & when I lay on the mattress, it is like being on a roller coaster. No better than the mattress we got rid of that was over 10 years old. I thought with going to a known brand & store, if problems arise, they would be solved quickly.

I had a home that I was refurbishing. I was looking for something to put in the house while not spending a lot of money. Mattress Firm's salespeople were excellent at finding something that I could sleep on for less than two weeks. Their representative listened to what I needed to accomplish and didn't try to upsell. She took me to the products and gave me my range. I found a cheaper product at a Sam's Club that was close by but Mattress Firm upheld its promise to match prices. And so, I bought a queen size mattress and box spring from the upper end of Mattress Firm's bargain stuff. It was definitely within the range of what I wanted to spend for something temporary. The mattress was comfortable and served its purpose.

Mattress Firm was the only store I knew of to buy a mattress at good prices. I liked the 0% interest for the offers and that was the biggest factor. I purchased a queen size Mattress Firm Memory Foam and I liked it a lot. The sales representative was very knowledgeable and I loved her. Also, the delivery people were really nice guys. Adjustable base scam: We purchased 2 Leggett & Platt adjustable bases for $1,798 plus a king Beautyrest Legend mattress and another Queen size mattress for a total of $5500 from the new Pantops location in Charlottesville, Virginia. The 2 salesmen did not tell us that Mattress Firm's policy is to NOT accept returns of the adjustable base. We never would have spent this much $ without being able to return if dissatisfied! I have never bought anything that I couldn't return if not satisfied, even vehicles can be returned. When I called the salesman, he referred me to a cell phone number for a woman... not sure what her relationship to the store is. She indicated that there was a state law in Virginia that won't allow them to accept returns of adjustable bases and that everyone loves the bases.
I called the attorney general's office and was told that no law exists and I also researched, albeit after the fact, to learn that this is a common complaint with Mattress Firm customers. To give her credit, she did offer to send us lower legs for the base but I called her back and told her we just are not happy with the base and would like to return it. When I mentioned I called the AG's office, she was visibly upset, said she couldn't deal with me now and had to get off of the phone.
This base does not work with our headboard which sits at a 45 degree angle and the base when inclined, puts us in the middle of our bedroom where we cannot reach the headboard or the side tables. I literally have to get out of bed to reach my water bottle or to adjust the light. There is also an additional cost of $130 to purchase the rails to hold the mattress from falling off the bottom of the base - apparently Leggett & Platt decided to remove this feature from the bases so now you have to purchase it separately. Wish I had done more homework prior to shopping!! This is the first negative review I have ever written of any product.

We dealt with Guy and Charles over in the Shirley, NY location and I must say these guys were GREAT! Very helpful in helping us make a decision. We purchased the Simmons Beautyrest Black Ice Aubrie 13.5" Firm Mattress and adjustable bed frame that you can raise your head and feet or both and it's awesome. I highly recommend if you live in Suffolk County, NY go visit them at their Shirley location located in the Kohl's shopping center. You won't be disappointed. I have had the bed for 1 week now and have slept great every night. No more stiff necks and back pain!

I am extremely disappointed in a mattress we bought from here. We spent $1349.99 and had to buy a new mattress after one year. I contacted the warranty department and I am going to have to pay to have a kit or a person sent out. I called and spoke to a nice man at the store we bought this mattress from and he stated that there would have to be 1.5 inch dip in the mattress. Looking at it, there is definitely a dip but I don't think it would be 1.5 inch and I hate to put any more money into this mistake to have my claim denied. We spent weeks looking for this mattress and this was a big purchase for us.
I am so sick to my stomach over being out this much money and wouldn't recommend anyone buying a mattress from this place that makes you jump through hoops to hold up their warranty that will most likely be denied anyway. From what I understand the warranty is only a replacement mattress, which we already bought a new one that we LOVE from a different place. I would appreciate just SOME kind of compensation for all of this.

I had storm damage in my bedroom so I needed to buy a new mattress, spring and frame. I was very pleased when I was in the Mattress Firm store. My experience with the sales rep was very good, but I was a little disappointed because shortly after I purchased, the mattress went on sale. They said they couldn't do anything about that. I should have waited until I had gotten a sale brochure. They should have given me a rebate as long as I haven't gotten the mattress yet.

Awful company. Their warranty is bogus. A way to fleece the consumer when something goes wrong. Mattress Firm asked us to pay inspection fee when the mattress and box springs collapsed on one side after less than 2 years. Then, Mattress Firm found an excuse not to replace the mattress and box spring that has nothing to do with the collapse. I would warn anyone looking for a Mattress and/or boxspring to not purchase it from Mattress Firm. They are the worst. The "deals" are nothing but scams. The low prices seem great but there are a ton of hidden fees. When I was looking at a mattress I was told they could waive the delivery fee for the 4th of July sale but somehow I still got charged $80 for delivery. Then their box springs are larger than a standard queen and for some reason the mattress would fit down my stairwell but the box spring would not, so I'm told I have to buy two twin frames AND pay an additional delivery fee AND an additional $80 for a second frame. So... the $179 mattress actually will cost me over $500. I could have gotten a better quality mattress with free delivery from any other store in town. But now if I return it... I have to pay to do that as well, so even returning it would cost $300 after their $149 return fee, and 15% restocking fee and the delivery fee. This entire store is nothing but a scam.

One time, my daughter picked out a memory foam for a little twin bed. Another time, I purchased the most comfortable mattress out of the cheaper versions for our guest room. We ordered a moving base on July 6th. We got the bases delivered on Sunday July 9th. The bases delivered were the wrong product then we were sold. The delivery men also PURPOSELY ripped the ground wire out of the plug. The bases themselves were broken. Mattress Firm took away our old box springs. We were offered new bases, or a refund. We want a refund. We are now being told we have to rebuy new box springs. We did not get the product we ordered, we got a broken product, we had delivery men who purposely destroyed the plug making this unsafe for use. This was illegal. A delivery person cannot legally ruin a ground wire.

Horrible. That's the best word I can think of to describe Mattress Firm. I made my first order on 5/23/17 for 3 twin XL mattresses. They were supposed to be delivered within 7 business days. After not hearing anything in 7 days, I called customer service. They said that they didn't have the mattresses in stock and they deliver them on 6/14/17. Now fast forward to today, 7/10/17, nearly a month after I thought they were delivered. I just receive a call asking about the mattresses (this was a purchase I made for work so I didn't personally receive the mattresses). The mattresses still have not been delivered. I called customer service only to be told that the mattresses were never scheduled for delivery. That's a BS excuse and it's Mattress Firm's responsibility to schedule the delivery anyway!
Now, between all of this, I actually placed another order with Mattress Firm on 6/19/17, this time for my home. I ordered the Dream Bed and it was supposed to be delivered in 3-5 business days. On 6/24/17 I received a phone call from customer service. She said that they were no longer offering the dream bed, and I could choose any other mattress up to $400 more at no additional cost. So I chose a mattress and I was told it would be delivered on 7/1/17. Well... as you can probably guess, the day goes by and no mattress is delivered. I called customer service on 7/3/17 and I was told that there was no record of my mattress being changed or scheduled for delivery. After 45 minutes on the phone, the lady asked if she could look further into it and give me a call back. You guessed it, no one ever called back.
On 7/5/17 I called again and immediately asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told a supervisor would give me a call back before the end of the day. You guessed it again... no one ever called back. On 7/6/17 I called back and asked to speak a supervisor. This time I reached the corporate office. After 30 minutes on the phone the lady asked if she could call me back in 15 minutes and I nearly had an aneurysm. She didn't call back until nearly 4 hours later, but she had resolved the issue. My mattress is scheduled for delivery on 7/15/17, but I'm not holding my breath. I have zero expectations from this company. Mattress Firm will never get another dollar from me, and frankly, I don't know how they're in business.

Bought our been mattress at County Fair. Sales Rep assured us he would take complete care of us. NOT! Bed took 10 days to get delivered after multiple texts to our rep. Tried to call customer service which is a joke. If you bought in store you have someone to talk with. If you buy at a County Fair you are at the mercy of the rep who sold it to you. If they don't return your calls you are up a creek. No store can help and there's no one else to call. I will NEVER EVER EVER buy at a County Fair. Mattress Firm's sales rep was very likable, professional, and knowledgeable. I recently bought a Sealy king size pillow top mattress from them. I picked out one that's too firm and they were accommodating to let me swap it back out for something that’s more to my suiting. So that worked out well. However, I previously bought a mattress there, which I've had for four years now, and that one is an issue as it started to sag really badly in the middle to the point where two people feel like they're rolling into each other.
I know that these are warrantied, and it's not easy to make a warranty claim versus repeated phone call attempts to help someone walk through the application process, but not one person has returned the call. I wanted to use the warranty claim on this first purchase for getting the king size, but it was just so ridiculous to get anybody to help with that. I just went out and bought a whole new king one. I still need to do this for my other one, my queen size. But other than that, my overall experience was very good.

I have physical disabilities and was trying to get a mattress for my medical needs. The mattress I chose began to lose its firmness within 30 days, so I returned it. Then I tried to buy a new mattress from a MF store and was told by multiple Mattress Firm stores that corporate told them not to sell me anything. I was banned from purchasing from the store. I was treated very rudely like I had done something wrong. My parents were in shock that I was blacklisted from making a purchase.
I asked Seth at the Boynton Beach store why I was being discriminated against and he hung up on me. Mike from the Boca store lied also. Every other mattress company knows that Mattress Firm is shady, untrustworthy and clearly un-American. The return policy may seem better than the others but it's a complete scam. They will block you if you try and return. This has been my experience and everything I said here is how I experienced it. I'm still waiting for my credit.

I purchased a bed from the Pearl Kai location here on Oahu. I was told that the bed would be delivered on July 9th and that I would get a phone call the night before to let me know what time they should arrive. I never got the call, so I tried calling the store the next morning. After nearly an hour of calling I finally got a hold of a girl named Molly which had to hang up and call me from her cell phone because their phone was acting up. She then told me that there had been a glitch in the system and that my bed would actually arrive until July 20th. This wouldn't had been such an issue, but I explained to her that I had just sold my other bed and that I have nothing to sleep on until the 20th. She suggested that I go to another Mattress Firm location and try out another bed she recommended.
I went, but the bed was much too soft. I told the lady at the store this and she kept insisting that I needed a softer bed and that I should also buy something to make the bed adjustable; which, in her words "only cost another $1,000". I repeated over and over I didn't want to purchase the bed adjuster thing but she never gave up trying to sell me on it. I also told this lady that I needed a firmer bed because I had back surgery and I needed something with good support. She pretty much told me I was wrong and that I needed something soft. I explained to her I just sold my medium firm bed because it was too soft; again she wouldn't listen to what I was saying. She then suggested that I go to Walmart and buy an air mattress until my bed came in on the 20th.
She also said that I could just purchase another bed from them, pick it up myself and then return it once my other bed came in. So, since you guys messed up my order you want me to purchases another bed and risk it being damaged while waiting on the bed I already paid for? Now, I have nothing to sleep on until the 20th if I decide to not cancel my purchase and I wasted 5 hours waiting on the delivery guys that never came. I'm considering taking my business elsewhere unless something happens soon to resolve this issue, but I guess for tonight I'll be sleeping on the floor.

The Mattress Firm sales rep met with us and let us test beds. They talked to us about them and then worked with us until we found what we wanted. We like our mattress but we're still tossing in the air whether we are sold on it 100% or not because of the comfort level. But we know it takes time to get used to it.

I've had a bed for over 20 years so I thought it's time for a new mattress. I knew someone who had a Tempur-Pedic and that was what I was interested in. Mattress Firm's location was close to me and I went there with a friend who was looking for a mattress for her sister and I ended up buying one for myself. The sales representative was very nice and the delivery was good. The delivery team came in and set it up for me and took all their trash with them. So, I didn't have anything to clean up after them. With regards to the Tempur-Pedic mattress, I like it and it's a little different and harder than what I had before. But I have a back problem, so I think I made a good choice of getting the new mattress. And it was a pleasant experience, overall.

We moved into a house and we were in the market for a new mattress. We had never bought a mattress before but we were at Home Depot and right across the street was a Mattress Firm. We went in to look and the representative was very attentive, friendly, engaging and really clear. She knew a lot about the products. We had a baby and a two-year-old with us, and she was great with them and that also helped. We had a great experience, so we ended up buying while we were there. It was a very calculated decision. We’re still getting used to the new mattress and breaking it in. We really loved the mattress in the house we were renting before and the one we have now is pretty close to that model. It’s a bit different but it feels good. It was really what we were looking for and we love it. We're happy with the whole thing.

What made me choose to go with Mattress Firm was definitely their customer service. I walked into the store here at Juban Road in Denham Springs and I was greeted with a little box of snacks to enjoy with my shopping experience. Then, we exchanged names with the salesman and he proceeded to show us around. He asked us some questions on what type of mattress we were looking for and they showed us the mattresses that fit the description. Mattress Firm has a display with all the different beds and the ranking price-wise, what goes better and what's the best. That organization and the way they have it setup is very easy and to the point, so we'd know exactly what were looking at. We went to a competitor and they had their beds scattered all over the place and they're all under sheets and covers, which is not a way to buy a bed.
The first time we bought a mattress from Mattress Firm, the purchasing was a mess and wasn't a good experience. At that time, we had already chosen up the mattresses. They were the Tempur-Pedic which are good beds. Then I asked the salesman if he could help me out with the prices because we were getting such expensive ones. Then he started doing a whole mess where he wanted us to buy the previous year’s model. Although it was used, he said it would save us thousands of dollars. My wife wasn’t there and she's more of the decision-maker. So I ended up making the decision and purchased the used mattress, which wasn’t the greatest. On the other hand, we're still happy with the Tempur-Pedic bed and we've had it for three years now.
The second time was a better deal. The mattress we purchased was pretty decent. The lady there was straightforward and no gimmicks. She was more along the lines that customer service should be instead of what that guy did on the first time. She was able to offer us some discounts based on us buying the twin XLs which we bought instead of a king size. So it worked out a little bit better. We're happy with our purchase. We've had the mattresses delivered and the people who did the delivery were professional and helpful. They put their booties on for the shoes, which was cool because we just got a new carpet. The second delivery person was the same guy from the first delivery. We had a good experience with him on both occasions. I'd recommend Mattress Firm and that lady on the second purchase in particular.

I bought a queen size mattress and adjustable bed frame (zero gravity) in November, 2016. The bed frame is controlled by remote (wire) plug directly into the bed frame which broke. I have been trying to get the remote replaced without success. I spoke with a representative who said it would take several days to order the remote and have a technician repair the bed frame, but that was 3 weeks ago. I am relocating July 28 and would like my bed repaired before that time!

Mattress Firm's prices were pretty outrageous, but still we got a firm mattress for my husband who has a sciatic problem. He likes it and I didn't, but it is what it is. Scott was the manager there and he was more than helpful. Then Joyce and Amy were the other two ladies that bent over backward as the warehouse shipped the wrong mattress the first time. They were very apologetic about it. The paperwork was right but they pulled the wrong stuff. The bed was torn up again and it was the warehouse’s fault. Then they had to send the right one and it was a mess for about six days. But the delivery people were terrific and did everything they're supposed to do. Also, the salespeople were wonderful, courteous and very professional. That was great.

Mattress Firm is a famous store in Alexandria, Louisiana, So when we were shopping for a mattress, we went and checked it out. I had been in before and I had a guy quote me a price. It was a good deal so I told him I’d get my wife and we’ll come back when she’s off of work and check it out. So we did but unfortunately, the same guy wasn’t there. But we did purchase from another guy who’s there. We bought an adjustable bed frame that has the back and feet go up and has vibration. Then it occurred to me to get the mattress so I told the guy I got approved for a certain amount and he said it’s good.
I said to the guy at the counter, “But I still need to get a mattress. Why don’t you try it on my wife? Get the credit on her and we’d put the other part on her. Two accounts. So, the frame part would have gone on me and then the queen-sized mattress would have gone on her.” So he did mine okay but when he put her, he connected mine to hers. And so she got approved, but my name is on that one. We didn’t know this at that time and know we were approved for two things separately. We went home to wait for the delivery date and didn’t know if everything's okay. When the things were to be delivered, they said between a certain time and a certain time but I know it wasn’t there. So we called the guy and he agreed it should be here and he’s checking it. It was 9:12 during the day and it was gone on almost 9:00 at night. I knew that store was going to be closing and we live in a very rural area.
The store had closed and these guys weren't there to talk to me so I told them myself that if we don’t get it tonight, they can just cancel everything and keep it. I had to set my whole room out and had no bed to sleep on and we needed it for that night. My wife had to get up at 5:00 the next morning to go to work. So I’ve called another store and talked to the guy who I originally had talked to a long time ago, who was the manager. I explained to him all that went on and he said he’s going to find out what’s going on. He added that if he has to be late, he’ll make sure. And he did. He did a good job. It ended up getting here about 9:15 in the evening. However, they didn’t put the cushions and I had to do it myself and it was bad that they threw the mattress halfway and left
After I get my bill, I always check my credits score. So I check on the credit card on my bill. It shows up like a credit card but I thought it was a loan type but they put it as a credit card. So if my credit card approval amount is $1,500 and the bed cost $1,400, my credit card utilization rate is through the roof. It's retarded and crazy. It doesn’t look good on me at all because I did max out the card. I thought it was a typical loan with a percentage. The problem is, on my wife they put hers on mine so I have two credit cards from Mattress Firm and both of them are maxed out and my credit score went down.
So I went to the store and asked them to fix it but he couldn’t fix it because it’s still in my credit so we’re trying to pay it off as fast as we can to get it down so it doesn’t hurt me and close up the accounts. He was not knowledgeable of the product and had to call other people on the phone to get answers. He had a game system there that he was playing games on and his girlfriend even sat there at the desk the whole time, eating lunch while we were doing our business. And so she heard everything, which I thought was really rude. He put two credit cards on my account that are maxed out and I'm trying to deal with my credit score from that purchase. And he crushed it. They were very unprofessional. It was not a good experience and we’ll never go back

Have received four mattresses and I am not happy with any of them. The first mattress was sagging. I exchanged it for another mattress that was too firm. At this point I had to purchase another mattress because they only allow one exchange per purchase. This mattress was also too firm, so I exchanged it for the mattress I have now which is also too firm. Now I am stuck with two mattresses that I am not happy with. I wake up with pain on my hips, back and neck. I was in the showroom for hours with each of these mattresses to make sure they were comfortable. Yet when I got them at home they felt completely different. I have never in my life experienced so many problems with mattresses before. It's not fair that I've spent thousands of dollars and I am not able to sleep on these mattresses because they cause so much pain.

Our old mattress was over 10 years old so we decided to get a new one. I happened to go with somebody who had to buy a mattress and we ended up buying one at Mattress Firm and got the one wherein the headboard goes up and the legs go up and down. Their sales rep was good. He explained everything very well and looked to see what kind of discount he would be able to give us. And, their delivery team was good too. Their people helped us out a lot and covered everything. The bed is very comfortable and I would recommend it. In fact, everybody that saw it wanted one now.

We had previously purchased a bed from Mattress Firm and we had a fairly decent rate. However this time, the location we went to was awful and it was the most awful experience I've ever had trying to buy a bed. We were looking for their advertised $179 queen set which includes a mattress and a box spring. It was there but it's $179 for the mattress and another $89 for the least expensive box spring. When we asked about the Final Markdown, which means about the 70% off of the mattress price, they told us that we were not going to find anything cheaper than what we're going to find there. We were not even given the opportunity to go over to another place and look.
Before that, it had been less than a year that we've previously purchased two other beds from them. The delivery time was after when we were told it was to be delivered. They were late. Every time we've had delivery from Mattress Firm, they’ve been late even though they call and say, “Well, we're on our way.” They finally show up three hours later. We tried to give them another chance when we tried to get my daughter’s second bed since she outgrew the twin. And it's unfortunate because they used to be really good. They have eight locations just in the Travis-Williamson County area and it's far too many to have decent customer service.
Also with the most recent purchase, they tried to get us to buy a $600 plus mattress knowing that my budget was $300 for everything. They even told us we could wiggle, but it is our budget. When you advertise a particular price as a set, then it needs to be honored as a mattress and box spring set. If it's not, then please state, “Mattress only”. Their advertising is very false. I wound up going online to Walmart.com and buying my daughter a luxury gel memory foam mattress and platform frame for under $190, full-size gel eight-inch memory foam mattress. We will not be returning to Mattress Firm.

It's a great product and everyone that’s slept on it has loved it. And their sales rep, whom we also bought from before, was wonderful and very knowledgeable. I was looking for a pillow and Mattress Firm had one that was close to what I was looking for. The salesperson was right on point. He was awesome, very personable, he listened and tried to cater to what I wanted, not just sell me something. He even helped me out on the price. He misquoted it and when he looked at the price, he just honored what he quoted. It was well within what I was willing to pay. I bought something like the Sleep Best. It was a cool pillow and it’s a memory foam. I've been fighting some pillows for 10 years, but now my neck is a lot less sore and I'm extremely happy. Mattress Firm is definitely my source for a good night sleep.

Initially, I thought that there was another mattress store around the corner but it had closed and Mattress Firm was the next closest one. The saleslady was excellent. She shared her ideas, some options and her knowledge about the product, and the way she reached out to us was great. The whole experience was fantastic. Then, we just dropped the box spring and mattress on top of the car. The quality is great and the product is very comfortable. Everything’s been wonderful.

I wrote a review of Mattress Firm in June 2017. At the time I was involved in a dispute regarding their refusal to honor a warranty. Several days after my review in Consumer Affairs I was contacted by Mattress Firm-a man by the name of Adrian F. Honestly,I was pretty skeptical about his offer to help because of everything I had been through. However after a couple of conversations with Adrian I began to believe that he was sincere about helping. He walked me through the process and was always very calm and professional-even when I was not. Within a few weeks the denial was reversed and I received an in store credit. I didn't think I could get muck luckier...but I did! I ended up at a Mattress Firm in Pompano Beach,FL and ended with an amazing salesperson by the name of Milagros A. After discussing my mattress needs-I've had multiple back surgeries-and what our options were,she found us an amazing bed! I am so happy that I lucked into two wonderful people in this company that not only resolved my conflict but helped me get an amazing bed. My confidence has been restored in Mattress Firm. I think it's very important to hold companies to standards and one way to do that is writing emails to voice your displeasure. HOWEVER... I also feel that it is equally important to recognize a company when they have resolved an issue and made things right. Mattress Firm has done just that.

In July of 2013 I purchased a Beautyrest mattress (Mitzi model) from Mattress Firm at 3880 N Federal Hwy, Ft Lauderdale, FL. Mr ** was the salesperson. I explained to Mr. ** that I had a history of multiple back surgeries and needed a mattress that would not sag. He assured me that I could not go wrong with Mattress Firm because of their 10 year warranty on this product and that if I did experience any problems with sagging that I was covered. At year two we noticed an issue with a sag. When I got around to contacting the company regarding the issue we were then given the name of a company that WE had to pay to come out and do an inspection on our mattress. After the inspection we received a denial from mattress firm due to stains found. To be fair there is a coffee stain on the SIDE of the mattress and also an approximate dime size stain on the mattress too.
The coffee stain was caused by my dog knocking my cup of coffee. The stain is nowhere NEAR the almost 3 inch sag that has developed in my Mattress. I was also told that one of the manufacturer's tags was missing from one of the box springs - not the mattress, of one of the box springs. There has ALWAYS been a cover on this mattress - overall it is a very clean mattress. Mattress Firm is clearly looking to avoid honoring their warranty which they use as a selling point. They are not allowing for normal wear and tear on a 4 year old mattress that has been used every night. Their customer service rep was rude and dismissive and of no help at all. I have read other reviews of this company and clearly this lack of product support is not uncommon. I certainly would warn any consumer about spending their money at Mattress Firm. They are not honest.

I have had the worst experience of my life in this Mattress Firm company. I went into this store in Homestead, FL looking for a good mattress to purchase at a reasonable price. The salesperson was reasonably kind and sweet. She showed me around and was very helpful. I located this one mattress and headboard that I like. I told her I would have to speak to my wife to make sure it would be a good deal. The salesperson told us they have a promotion going on. She explained that they were giving away for free an adjustable base with the mattress but still end up charging $300.
After the movers came we noticed there was a lump in the mattress of which they said would go down by itself once the mattress is settled. That was a lie. The adjustable base was cheap and was clearly not made specifically for that mattress. The headboard that we purchased did not have attachment points to fix it to the mattress base. After my wife called the salesperson Bi Bi, this woman had the nerve to argue with her instead of helping her with the problem. This is the worst experience I have had with a purchase of a bed in all my life and it had to be in this stupid town Homestead, Fl. Mattress Firm needs to do some purging of all the idiots they hire.

My daughter knew one of Mattress Firm's salespeople and she said that I should see her friend. Ben, the sales rep, was very knowledgeable. I tried three beds, and when I laid down on the first one, he told me to put the pillow down and I was supposed to lay completely on the bed and not worry about where I'm at. I said that I felt weird, and he told me that's why the pillows were there for my feet. And then I came to the firm mattress and I liked it, and he was a little worried that I wouldn't. He also told me straight out that I should come over to the store in Wyomissing because there are more styles for me to test out. I thought that was nice as he wanted to make sure that I tested everything instead of just selecting what they had.
My bill was under $4,000 and that's really good. I got a complete firm set and my daughter got the mattress with the box spring. The delivery people called in the morning and asked if they can deliver the bed earlier. I told them that I have a settlement and I would call them once it's done. It worked out right in uniform and Raymour & Flanigan delivered the furniture. They came up the street to put the bedding on and were very nice. I was very comfortable with the bed and I would definitely recommend Mattress Firm. My other daughter's boyfriend was looking for bedding and we sent them over to Mattress Firm as well.

There's a Mattress Firm right across the street from my house and it's convenient. We got a Tempur-Pedic and our interactions with the sales staff were decent. We knew what we wanted so we were in and out. We set up a delivery and the delivery team was nice, on time, and in and out. We like the mattress and its quality is good.

I purchased a king size mattress at a store (signage still said Sleep Train) about a month ago and had a wonderful experience. I needed a new bed for my new mattress and since I had a great experience buying my mattress, I wanted to give my business to Sleep Train/Mattress Firm. I was advised by the sales rep to purchase the bed online since the actual store did not have the bed I wanted. So I went on Sleep Train's website (which does not auto-direct you to Mattress Firm) and purchased the bed.
After the bed arrived (left at my front door while I was at work with no message from the delivery company saying it was trying to deliver my bed) I realized I only purchased the headboard-footboard, and rails were not included. I immediately called the customer service number & informed the rep of my situation. I told the rep I want to buy the entire bed and if there is no way to just order the footboard and rails, I was told I could return the headboard with a pick up and restocking fee. The rep said his manager will call me back the next business day to discuss. I never got a callback. In fact, my husband and I called customer service 4 more times over the course of over 7 days to get a resolution. We were told on numerous occasions that "they" were trying to see if they can just order the footboard and rails for us so they don't have to process a return, and we would hear from them by close of business.
After this went on for more than a week, with no one keeping their word to call us back, my husband called again and said we just want to return the item. After being placed on hold for 10 minutes, a new rep got on the phone and said furniture items are non-refundable. As you can imagine, we were extremely upset. The rep, Aly from Customer Care, kept citing Mattress Firm's return policy and failed to acknowledge that policy is nowhere on Sleep Train's website. Moreover, she failed to acknowledge that we were told repeatedly we could return the item.
When I called back she hung up on me. I asked to speak to a manager and she said, "I work in the corporate office and we don't do that." But she put in a request for a manager to call me back in 48 hours. I was flabbergasted by the process, the lack of accountability and the poor follow through by Aly and the Customer Care team. I was wanted to pay the restocking fee to return the item and purchase the entire bed which would have made Mattress Firm more money off of me, but all I got was a recital of policy. Super short sighted. If you are in the market for a new bed, do not use Mattress Firm.

It was three years ago when I bought my first product from Mattress Firm. Recently, I bought two twin mattresses for bunk beds, and they work perfectly fine for a five-year-old and a four-year-old. Their sales staff was good. They were actually closing and he opened the doors for me and went ahead and took care of it for me. We picked the mattress because the delivery time was too far out.

A Mattress Firm store was directly across the street from my job so I just stopped in. I purchased a mattress, box spring and bed cover. The salesperson was very patient with me as I kept going back and forth between all of the mattresses. He was very nice and he explained to me the difference between all of them. As I narrowed down my choices, he gave me more detail into the ones that I was looking at then. He was very helpful.
He also had me describe to him how I slept like if I slept on my back or side and told me which one would be better for my body type. But I didn't like that the mattress cover wasn't a full cover. I thought it was a double sided cover but it was one sided and the zipper wasn't for both sides. When I went back, some lady described to me that it wasn't refundable or exchangeable but that wasn't said when I first purchased it.

I bought a Beauty Rest from Mattress Firm in Aug 2014. It is a king. No one but myself has ever slept on the bed. I have had five back surgeries and I contacted Mattress Firm to let them know that the bed had a sway and a dip in it and that I could not sleep in it because I get down in the hole and I can't turn myself over so I asked for an inspector to come out. They assure me there's not any in my area. I did everything I could. I checked with other companies. I was going to pay for it myself to have somebody to come out to do a inspection on my mattress! Still no luck I was then told I have to be out nearly 30.00 to try and do their job. I was not told when I bought the mattress that Simmons or Mattress Firm would take care of sending someone to do their inspections instead I've been out nearly $30. After all this I was denied and told it was normal wear and tear. To remind you this bed has a dip in it like a sunken spot and they do not want to honor their warranty.
I have also talked to Simmons with no luck there either. They tell me I have to go through Mattress Firm. No one but myself sleeps on this bed. There's no way that I put a sunken spot in this bed the way that it is. So the bottom line is I'm stuck with a mattress over $2,000, mattress that I cannot sleep on. Simmons or Mattress Firm neither one will honor the warranty. Instead they have nearly 30 more dollars of my money so you come to your own conclusion in my eyes it looks like that I've been took for a ride and then also took for an nearly another $30. I never asked for my money back for the mattress and box springs. I only asked for them to put the money that I paid for this box spring and Mattress toward another one that I can sleep on that will hold up longer than 3 years. So please consider all of this before your purchase from Mattress Firm or Simmons.

We needed a bigger mattress. We went to several different locations looking but we got the best deal and customer service from Mattress Firm. We ended getting a king size adjustable base and a pretty fancy mattress from them. We love it. I went to the store by myself the first time and the gentleman that helped me was super nice and approachable. He let me wander a little as I was checking out the different mattresses then came over and gave me some information.
I brought my fiancé the second time and the gentleman was able to help us as we were trying to make a decision between two different mattresses. He gave us a lot of information and also helped with some of the military discounts. The delivery went okay but we had some difficulty connecting the two bases together and getting them to work so the delivery guys were there for quite a while. They thought that there was something wrong with it but they got it to work in the end. Overall, it was an easy experience.

We first purchased a Tempurpedic with the adjustable base. It cost about $7500 total. The mattress was nothing like what we tried in the store. We were aware of having to break it in. No matter what you did to that mattress it was hard as a rock. And we bought the supposedly softest one available. We returned it. The return process was awful. The store we bought it from didn't want to exchange it because it would hurt their numbers. Had to call a store down the street to help out. They didn't want to and the guy actually said, "Well I don't want to help you," and hung up.
Finally, called a 3rd store with a manager who assisted. He did the exchange for a Beauty Rest pillow top. I did not want anything else expensive, though it was still $1,000. Horrible, horrible, mattress. It was hard just like the Tempurpedic. Nothing pillow top about it and felt nothing like in the store again. Now we are stuck with that $1,000 mattress that we can't even sleep on. We ended up going to a different mattress store and purchasing a Serta Perfect Sleeper. We bought plush; and actually got a plush mattress. Never buying from Mattress Firm again.

Mattress Firm is close to where I go to shop for other stuff. We went in, checked out all the mattresses and we found one that I liked, and the sales rep gave me a price. She was a wonderful person. She was very patient, very easy-going, and wasn't pushy. We went back after months and months and got Hampton & Rhodes instead of the one that I picked out the first time because Hampton & Rhodes was softer. I have a lot of damage to my neck, shoulder, back, and hip area, and I was sleeping on a brick so I had to have something softer because I was in so much pain. My new mattress is exceeding my expectations and has made a world of difference in my neck and back pains. It has also got my husband to almost completely stop snoring. My Mattress Firm experience is spectacular and I love it.

I got a new mattress for my new home and Mattress Firm gave me the best deal. I went to them to buy a mattress but the sales guy made me purchase a recliner bed, too. I liked the way he talked to me, the way he was promoting, and his willingness to adjust the price. It took 15 minutes to purchase then I came back home. It was really smooth. Their delivery guy came to my home and installed everything. We purchased another Mattress Firm from another store and that was good, too.

I am very dissatisfied with my Beauty Rest mattress from Mattress Firm. I purchased 2 extra long twin mattress and box springs for $1950.00 to be used together as a king. In less than 6 months I noticed the center of one of the mattresses sagging in the middle with a significant, visually apparent depression. The other mattress does not have this defect and I am the smaller of the 2 people sleeping on it. When sleeping on this mattress I wake with a backache and headache.
I contacted Mattress Firm and for an additional fee of $39.95 a representative from Mattress Marshalls came to my home to assess the mattress. Upon leaving he said, "Be sure the mattress stays clean or they will not pick it up". Several days later I received a form letter saying the mattress indentations were considered to be normal body impressions. How can this be when the same mattress on the other side does not feel defective with someone heavier than I am sleeping on it? Mattress Firm advertises "Love your Mattress Guarantee", but I am not a satisfied customer, who "Loves" her mattress. Please reconsider this claim.

I bought the Beautyrest Black Hybrid mattress from Mattress Firm which has springs on the bottom and memory foam on the top. We bought it in store and Rick, their sales rep, gave us all the help that we needed. He didn’t follow us around or interrupt us when we were trying to decide. However, my partner’s finding the mattress a bit too hard and we may take advantage of their offer where we could switch it for another mattress. That process is pretty straightforward and they were helpful in explaining how to do it. We just have to pay another delivery charge. Overall the mattress is very good quality. We also got a couple of add-ons that were nice, such as money off on a pillow and a mattress cover. Though their mattresses in general are quite overpriced, Mattress Firm made it an enjoyable purchase because you get the feeling that you were getting something for free.

Both of our mattresses were worn out and more than 8 years old. Thus, it was time to buy a new mattress. Mattress Firm was a little pricey but their salesperson was very helpful. He sold us on buying a mattress there and gave us a better deal than what any other place would have given us. And so, we bought a king size, a queen and box spring sets from them. Since using their products, we have less back pain. The quality is great and we love both of them. Mattress Firm will work with you to make a deal and treat you like they've known you forever.

I am very unhappy with MF. I made an account on here just to post this review. All I wanted was a nice Tempur-Pedic bed, supportive yet soft. I was assured the one I picked for $2500!! was the good one and would help me. And that price was the July 4th weekend pricing on sale!! Needless to say I returned that bed because it was a brick to sleep on. It was so hot and uncomfortable and to get it returned to pick a new one was like pulling teeth!
I finally was told I could pick a new one so I had another person help and told them what I wanted. I picked the one they suggested and it still felt pretty firm though it was part of their softer line, but they assured me again it will soften up after a few weeks. Well let me tell you - it is not soft at all! It's hot and it's hard as a rock and it kills my back. My husband won't even sleep in the bed sometimes because he says the couch (at 8 yrs old) is more comfortable!! Now it has been 9 months since that exchange and I am stuck with this piece and I hate it. Will never shop Mattress Firm again and I will tell everyone I know never to shop there. They cheat you out of your money and sell stuff just to sell, at least they did in my store.

My girlfriend and I had a bad experience with a mattress place that we went to. They told us we had to order the bed then they said we had to wait a week. A week came by and they said it wasn't on the truck, so we had to wait another week until it came to three weeks. We still didn't have a bed. I went to Mattress Firm six years ago, so I told my girlfriend we can go there instead. We did and the manager that night hooked us right up. We liked the sales rep a lot too. He was really nice and took care of us. They let us know what was going on and we were happy when we walked out.
We got a regular, king size mattress and had it delivered. The delivery team showed up two days later. They said they were going to be there between 11 and 12, but they called and asked if they could come earlier. They showed up at around 10:00 and it worked out. The two gentlemen that delivered the bed were really nice. I was surprised at how fast they were in and out, I didn't even realize they had the bed set up already. We've had the bed for a month and a half now, and we love it. I don't want to get out of bed and go to work. It was a comfortable experience and everything went so smoothly. We're probably gonna go there to Mattress Firm again since we're probably going to get another bed for our spare room.

I purchased a mattress and mattress box spring from Mattress Firm. It was delivered to me with damages on both items. The re-delivery was sent as the incorrect size. The third re-deliver wasn't even a deliver as the deliver guys said they were only there to pick up the old mattress. So I was like, "Where I'm I going to sleep on if you do that". I am fed up with this experience. All I get is I'm sorry, nothing else.

I was past due on buying a new mattress. I went to the Mattress Firm store and told them what we liked, and bought it. We paid four grand in total because we bought the adjustable bed frame. It's the top of the line, hybrid bed and they call it the Cambridge bed. The mattress alone was $3,000. I didn’t like the price but there's a price to pay for everything. If you want something nice, you pay the price. We had a fantastic interaction with their sales rep. He knew what he was talking about and answered all our questions. He showed us from the bottom of the line to the top of the line and we ended up at the top of the line because I thought he was honest and we melted into the bed when we tried it. Furthermore, their delivery team was very respectful. So far, we love the bed. I'd recommend anybody to them although I can't say every store is the same as it goes on the personality of the people too.

We needed a new mattress and Mattress Firm got a pretty good deal. We bought an adjustable mattress and the sales rep worked with us pretty good and got us to where we needed to be price-wise. We also bought a massage chair and the other sales rep was also good. The delivery and set up were good, too. Everything is working as it should be.

Went to the store in Joplin, Mo, for 3 new mattresses, Monty wanted a budget before starting and I said $2000. He said he had plenty of "Outlet" mattresses with great prices. Bought 2 new Twin XL's and one Full. I ask about "90 Days/same as Cash" and was told "Absolutely". Same for free delivery. Got 2 Simmons Cresthill's and a Sealy Deveraux. Wanted to use the 90-Days to restart some credit history and was told no credit check needed, but they did (I found out). Put $1300 down on a $2159.99 purchase. Delivery wasn't free, was $79 then lowered to $59, and they did carry off the old mattresses, so I no longer even have them to change back even if I could cancel the deal. They claimed I saved $3069.97 (off bloated prices that no one has EVER actually paid) to make it sound like a real super value.
Mattresses were picked up from the various locations after I made them verify that they were ALL clean, NEW, sealed items, specifically asked him "NO displays or demo's, right?" Assured they were. Week later they are delivered by a great team who took the plastic off and left after moving them in. The team left and I began making the beds and found yellow tags attached under the edge of the bed that said I had purchased "Sanitized, Second Hand (USED)" mattresses! (Actually said that exactly). $800 each for USED! Called the store and got Brian (my salesman, Monty, was from another store who ran this store alone the day I bought). Brian was rude and told me "What did you expect you were getting at those amazing prices?" I told him "New, Like I was told!" He said no, that "Outlet" means "used, repo, returns, damaged, demo's", not the discontinued and broken/mixed sets I was told it meant.
Nobody goes to the "Outlet Mall" to buy other people's used clothes! He said that I should have "known what they meant by outlet". He argued that, "Well you saved more than you paid, what's the problem?" (These are actual quotes.) The problem is it was ALL misrepresented. And, the "90-Days/Same as cash" is a lease/rent-to-own! I was expected to just be happy that they didn't charge me the full, made-up price of $2000 each they claimed they were normally sold at. Then I found that "Outlet-No warranty/As-Is" was penciled in on one of the buyer's sheets, and that there is NO warranty on any of it. Brian identified himself as the "Assistant Manager" and that I'd just have to catch the Store manager when he was there some other day.
Tried to contact Mattress Firm by their phone number and the system ran me around and around and would not take me to a human, and eventually told by the system to just go back to my store if I had a problem. Went on their Customer service e-mail, twice and got only an "Others ahead of you, we will eventually get back with you." (They didn't).
I like the mattresses so far, but NEVER would have bought on a "Rent-to-own" and NEVER ANY USED MATTRESSES! Every aspect was "kinda true", "sort of close" or "Oh YOU just misunderstood". No apologies, no reasonable explanation for the delivery of used mattresses, no details about being set up on a rent-to-own, nothing. Avoid this company like the plague. If I had looked up the horrible reviews beforehand like I usually do, I would have NEVER gone near Mattress Firm. Days later, I am still finding fine print and realizing how deceptive they really are.

Some I picked up, while some were delivered. The delivery team was perfect. I had to buy a bunch of bed frames too. So Mattress Firm was a one-stop shop and made my life easy.

I purchased a mattress on Amazon through Mattress Firm in May 2017. By mistake, I ordered two of the same mattress. They both arrived on May 23, and both boxes were torn to pieces. I was annoyed, but I had my mattress, so whatever. I went about trying to fix one of the boxes so that it could be returned, and I noticed the mattress inside was the wrong mattress. I had ordered a 12 inch thick king mattress, and this was only a 10.5 inch king. This was the extra mattress, so, again, I was annoyed but I'm sending it back anyways. Following the online instructions provided by both Mattress Firm and Amazon, I filled out return information and was given a return label. This mattress was picked up to be returned on May 29, 2017.
Cut to almost three weeks later... Mattress Firm cannot find my mattress using the tracking number on the label THEY PROVIDED. Having tried about eight different times, I've concluded that it is nearly impossible to reach any customer service agent, and the agents I can reach are with different departments every time (even though I explain the problem the exact same every time) and they are about as helpful as a sack of rocks. Nobody knows what to do or how to find the package. Meanwhile, I'm left, out almost $1000, wishing I had never decided to do business with this awful and disorganized company. Won't Refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

We shopped around and decided to go with Mattress Firm because of their price. We got three sets of mattresses and box springs. They're for guest bedrooms and the other ones that we bought were different quality. My guest hasn't slept on them yet though but they'll be here in the few weeks. However, we had to upgrade to get a decent box spring and we only did it for one because that's for my daughter to sleep on on a regular basis. The other two were mainly for guest rooms. But price-wise, it was good compared to the price that competitors offered at that level.
It was the manager who was at the store that day and he was awesome. Then we had to come back and we dealt with another young gentleman. He was very good as well and the experience was easy. He picked up on the transaction to know what went on before and the transition was just smooth. For the delivery, they came in and nothing was dirty or broken. Everything was still packed in the plastic and they asked if we wanted them to take it out and we told them no. Then they asked where it was going, took it upstairs and set it in a room to the side so we can set it up at our own leisure. Overall, it was a great experience.

I purchase a Simmons mattress from Mattress Firm and in less than a year it was sagging. I had to practically pull myself out of the sagging hole in the morning and woke with back hurting. They made me pay $25 for a home inspection kit (a piece of flimsy cardboard and a string with a washer on it). After taking many pictures and having someone help me remove the mattress and foundation to take pictures, they refused to warranty it. So I had to pay another $40 to have an inspector come out to my house. Again they refused the over inch sagging saying it had to be at least an inch and a half to be covered. I can't believe that they say this is normal wear on a mattress less than a year old. I was also told that most companies do not charge to have the mattress inspected. They got a total of $65 from me for no satisfaction.

We had a waterbed and we've been wanting something different. We needed something to be able to raise our head up. She has acid reflux and I was looking more for the comfort. We dropped in on one of the Mattress Firm stores and decided to go ahead and purchase one. Dealing with their sales reps was fine. She did have a problem with the bed though. When we got ours in, there wasn’t a lot of room left. It was supposed to be 80 inches and when I laid on the bed, I had a little room left on the bed. I'm 6'5. She measured it and came up with 70 inches. It's been several weeks now and somebody was supposed to call her back and explain some of that or let her know something and instead, nobody has ever called her. She's a little upset about that. The guy that we bought from said he would pass it on and somebody would get back with her and nobody has ever called her.
But the quality is good. I have a lot of problems with my back. Mine hurts when I rest about six hours. With this product, it's actually nice. It raised my head up and get the pressure off my back. It would extend my sleep instead of having to get up. So far, I’ve enjoyed it. If it holds up to what they’d tell me about the bed that it’s not going to end up being in the gully, I'll be fine. I would recommend it to my friends if that’s something they were looking for.

Recently, I purchased a $60 twin bed frame from Mattress Firm in Hatfield. They were accommodating and had everything in stock. Working with their sales rep was great. He pointed me toward the frames and grabbed one and helped me put it in my car. The whole experience was really easy.

We bought a mattress from Mattress Firm and we were treated really nice at the store so we went back a month later. We bought another one of the same bed because it had a really good price. The sales staff in that store were wonderful with their customer service. They talked to us about what they wanted to offer but they were not pushy and let us decide on our own. They were very kind and told us when delivery would be and how to check what time the delivery would come. So they knew what they were doing and they made the purchasing process very easy and very convenient. The delivery was also perfectly on time. We had the beds placed in the guestrooms and they look like they're really good quality.

We purchased a Beautyrest mattress from Mattress Firm just under a year ago. In the past 6 mo. it was developed impressions and feels super inconsistent throughout the bed. We filed a claim and had an inspector come out to take the measurements. They found impressions and that it had different measurements throughout the mattress. We were denied our claim however since the impressions were not at a full inch and a half yet. I'm at a loss since the mattress is so new and feels so inconsistent throughout. If it's this bad already in a year I can't imagine in 5 years. I'm extremely disappointed this can't be taken care of and either swapped out or given at least a prorated amount. I don't think I'll be able to sleep another year on it and will have to go find another mattress before I would actually be able to use my warranty.

I don't recommend anyone to ever try and deal with Mattress Firm. I spent over $5000 for a bed and two mattresses and they guaranteed me a good night sleep. I told them I wasn't happy with my mattress, they told me I didn't have it long enough so I kept it longer. Finally told them I could not stand it anymore they told me there was nothing else they could do for me. I contacted the district manager and he said that I could purchase another mattress but I would have to pay for it. I then contacted customer service at the headquarters and they said they would help me out then I never could get them to return my calls. Never ever ever will I deal with Mattress Firm again. What a joke. The most horrible experience ever.

I had already purchased a bed from Mattress Firm and I just needed to get another one for a different room in our house. The guy that helped me was fantastic. I wasn’t going to buy one, I was just going to look. But after talking with him, I went ahead and bought the Beautyrest adjustable. He sat down with me and told me about each one. We tried each one out and it was just a great education. He actually helped me. Then I scheduled a home delivery and they came on time. The bed is perfect and wonderful.

Other people were talking about their experiences with Mattress Firm and I saw the ads and the pricing so I decided to purchase from them. Their sales staff was friendly and helpful. He showed me what I wanted and he didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t want. I bought two regular mattresses and box springs. I had a home delivery and they called a couple of days before to let me know that it was scheduled. And that morning, they called again to say they would be there at a certain time. They were here at exactly when they said they would be. They came in, took the old beds out, put the new ones in and there were no problems. Everything went well from the time I walked in their door until they set up the mattress. The beds are also more comfortable. I’m sleeping all night and that’s what I wanted.

Mattress Firm has a sale then because they were getting rid of their discontinued product so I got a king-sized full adjustable bed with the mattress. It has excellent quality and I sleep a lot better now. Their sales people were great to work with. They gave out all the correct information. Also, their delivery team was polite and they’ve been flawless. I definitely recommend people to go to the Mattress Firm company in Burlington. I looked at other mattress places but I find Mattress Firm as very personable. They dealt with mattresses and they were knowledgeable about their stock, and I had time to investigate the mattress itself. I initially purchased a mattress and a mattress cover and then I found a mattress that was comparable but within a different price range. My family purchased the mattress for me so I had to turn that mattress that I initially purchased back in. So I saved a thousand or so bucks.

I saw Mattress Firm on the side of the road and walked in. I had been looking for one, and the sales representative that was there just got my attention and I bought one from there. She was just so sweet. When I walked in, she didn’t nag me and simply said that the showroom was color coded. She let me be and said, “I'll be over here if you need me.” When I was ready to talk to her, I went to her and she gave me all the information I needed. I didn’t feel pressured. The mattress is just so high, I have to jump to get in my bed. But that’s not anything that’s her fault, that’s what I get.

I returned my purchase from Mattress Firm because there were some issues with their ability to get me all the hardware and parts I needed. They mentioned that all the hardware was there but it was not, I'm short of the headboard. There are two stores in Lubbock, Texas, and I initially bought my bed at the other store. I didn't think it'd be a great deal to buy a headboard at the other one. I had to go back and forth with them twice on that, but ultimately in the end, they simply suggested I go to Home Depot and buy the hardware I needed, where they sell it.
I initially dealt with the manager, and I was very displeased with her. She blamed all the employees, and ultimately at one point, they wanted me to go pick up the hardware at their house. They really didn't know what hardware to get me when she initially told me that it was in the box. I remember asking her to ensure that the hardware was in the box and she told me it was. I got so frustrated, I just bought the hardware from them but eventually it felt like every time I spoke with her, I was having to pay to speak to her.
I was planning to upgrade the bed, because apparently my bed is still under warranty and I'm able to do a trade up or I'd have to buy the whole bed. I believe my bed is no longer manufactured so I wanted to buy the whole bed. I asked them how I can ensure the quality of my bed and the manager told me that I have to but a test kit and to run a test and told me to replace the mattress. I said, "Why do I just continuously pay you to talk to you? It feels that way. You're always trying to sell me something when I just want one solution." I didn't feel I was getting any offers to improve my experience. Also, my wife went to go get the hardware from them before I went to meet with the manager. They gave her the wrong hardware and we had to bring that back and then purchase the right hardware.
It became all my responsibility and I didn't think it was good customer service. I don't particularly believe the manager has been a good leader and that she lacked the emotional intelligence to realize I was unhappy. I then returned the headboard, but the manager was trying to convince me not to have the return. I finally had to tell her, "You're not listening. I want a refund. Let's get this done." I'm still waiting for my refund.

I purchased a mattress from their Mall of GA location July 24, 2009 and the mattress started sagging within 3 months of ownership, now it is sagging over 1 1/2 inches and I have contacted their warranty department and they denied a claim stating that is normal for it to sag that much, it is bad enough where anything that is placed on top of the mattress rolls toward the center. Mattress Firm was close by. They have what we wanted and it worked out fine for us. Their sales rep wasn't pushy, informative, and answered out questions. We made our purchase and had it delivered. The delivery team was great and they set everything up for me. It was a Queen Serta and adjustable base and I've been definitely sleeping better with it.

We went to our local Mattress Firm store in mid-November and purchased a pillow-top mattress. It was delivered promptly, but upon delivery had a horrible odor. We researched and found that off-gassing was a common problem that usually went away after a few days. We went back to the Mattress Firm store and they verified that this problem existed and usually cleared up shortly.
One month later we went back to Mattress Firm and told them that the mattress was still off-gassing. The store worker apologized and arranged to have a new one delivered. When the new one was delivered it smelled for just a day or two (as we were told to expect) and then we were able to sleep on it. The salespeople said to give it ample time to see how we liked it.
After two months we decided to return it as my wife ended up sleeping on a couch most nights as that was more comfortable. Once again the store was kind about the exchange and we got a different type of mattress. We have now had this new one for roughly 100 days and it is causing lower back pain for both me (which I have never experienced before) and my wife. We went back to the store today to see what our options were and the answer was none since we were beyond the 120 days of the original delivery. I was under the impression that we had 120 days to try out a mattress to see if it worked for us. I admit that I wasn't clear on the return policy, but this seems silly.
I am upset that the first 30 days were wasted since we had a bad mattress (off-gassing issue). Then we tried the new one for 60 days on the salesperson's recommendation even though we didn't like it almost immediately. By this point 90 days had elapsed. I assumed that we would have 120 days to try the latest mattress since Mattress Firm prides itself on the Love Your Mattress Guarantee. I am extremely frustrated that we spent $1350 for a mattress that neither my wife nor I can sleep on. I told the salesperson today that we would be happy to pay some amount for an exchange, but he said there was nothing he could do.
We are not upset with the salesman as we liked him tremendously, but this policy certainly leaves something to be desired. It seems to reason that if consumers are going to be encouraged to give a mattress a chance that this policy would allow for a reasonable time period on EACH mattress from this transaction rather than just 120 days from the original mattress delivery. It should be mattress A, you get 120 days. If you don't like mattress A, then mattress B you get 120 days, not whatever is left over from mattress A. I do understand why Mattress Firm limits the number of exchanges as without that this pattern could extend to infinity.
My advice is that if you get a mattress from this company and you don't like it, return it IMMEDIATELY and don't try it for long so that you can have a decent time period to give the next mattress a trial. Just to be clear - the two mattresses we slept on were not defective, they just didn't work for us. The salesman we worked with was great, but his hands were tied by this policy. I would love to love my mattress, but I hate it and nothing can be done about it according to this policy of Mattress Firm.

Mattress Firm is the place to go and I love the saleslady up there. She really made me want her sale, she knew her stuff and she showed me every mattress in there. She pulled the products out of the storage thing, laid them down and let me try everything out. Then I picked up the mattress because I'm so close to where the store's at and when I was there, it was around Memorial Day and I ended up getting a free pillow which was fine too. So it was a very nice experience. I'm so glad I went there and got this plush mattress. It's the right one for me, I was comfortable and it had the right price. I love it and I sleep like a baby on it. It's 10 times better than my previous bed. Its cost is also excellent and just right on the quality.

I purchased a iComfort Intellectual EFX Queen Set on 5/11/15 from Sleepy's @ 401 Baltimore Pike in Bel Air, 21015. The cost of the mattress was 1599.99, 49.99 for the Queen Box protector and 299.99 for the bed frame the salesman suggested. I also purchased 75.00 Bed bug protector to keep the mattress safe from bed bugs. The mattress sags horribly, and I sink in the middle of the bed. I am starting to have back problems sleeping on this mattress. I weigh 165 and there should be no reason at all that this mattress should sink. They told me that I had to pay the 39.95 for an inspector to check out this mattress. I refused to pay the 39.95 for their inspection fee that they did finally waive after threatening to talk to a lawyer, They did give me a case # for the claim and I would receive a call from the warranty company (US Quality) but was told I would have to wait a week for a callback. I will update after I hear from their management team.

I should have done my research. But I have never experienced anything like this. My BeautyRest recharge mattress started to sag before a year. It stains like a sheet and when turning the mattress to help with sagging it folds. Horrible mattress and not cheap.

When I went back to make the purchase he had decided not to honor the written estimate/quote (order number ** - customer number **) he had given to me two days before (He said the company was not going to make enough profit). Apparently there is a severe lack of moral fiber in Mattress Firm's business ethics.

I moved here from North Carolina with my daughter and son-in-law. They made a quarters for me and helped me get a new mattress. The gentleman that waited on me couldn’t have been nicer. They had me try all the mattresses and I liked a regular mattress but one that’s low because I’m short. Come delivery they brought the high one so I told the delivery guys about it. He then said it was the order so I showed him, I said, “I went and got a mattress so I wouldn’t have to jump in bed.” And they said “Oh, that’s right. That’s not right.” So they came the very next day and brought the other one and got everything settled. They could not be nicer. My new bed is very good and I’m liking it real well.

I bought a mattress, the base board, and motor from Mattress Firm. I went to their shop at 10:00 sharp, but their doors were still locked. The sales rep saw me, opened the door, and showed me around. He was really pleasant and knowledgeable. I told him what I was looking for, showed me, and explained to me that they were closing the store. He had some really good deals going on right now and I ended up purchasing a floor model.
However, I wish I would have gotten a king size bed instead. It just seems a little smaller than my original queen, and I don't know if it's because of the pillow top. I had my friend lay in the bed with me and it was really tight. HHe told me not to be deceived with the lighting and big space on the showroom and that the bed is a little bigger than what it seems. But I got a great deal and I'm happy with it. I've had them delivered and the delivery team moved it and signed off and that was it.

We bought 2 mattresses and paid 500 dollars for that. We're planning to move in but did not have any mattress yet so we were staying somewhere else. Had to go back and forth because of their schedule and we had to wait for them for few hours! They couldn't make it. Didn't even pick up the calls. WE DID THAT FOR FEW DAYS. Although we were informed that we would definitely get the mattresses by Friday, we still didn't get them and it's Sunday already. Their delivery system sucks. I do not recommend buying mattress from this irresponsible place. They never value the customers' time like they wrote on their site.

Mattress Firm's sales staff was excellent. The lady that helped us was very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and she went above and beyond. We ordered several mattresses and we picked some up and took them ourselves. But we had our king mattress delivered and that went great too. We haven't had the mattresses that long, but so far, the quality is good. Overall, the whole experience was really positive. We're rural here and we don’t have a whole lot of choices but we would still rather buy from a local mattress store as opposed to Walmart or Costco. And because of their service, we would buy from Mattress Firm again for sure.

My sister and I went to the Mattress Firm store because I was looking for a mattress and she was looking for a pillow. The first time we went in there, the gentleman was really good. He was new and was just learning. The second time I went back, I asked for him and the few things that he might have missed, the lady fixed, so it was no big deal. It didn't bother me because they credited me back $50 since there was a close out price on the memory foam mattress pad that I bought which was not given to me. But the gentleman's still good that we really weren't paying attention to the price. We were just asking about the different pads and mattresses and he answered the questions the best he could.
We had to get the mattress I bought from Augusta and I told him I would come pick it up. I was pleased with it and then I went back and got two of the twin extra-large pads that Mattress Firm had. Overall, it was a good experience. For the time that we were in that store, people get irritated when they go past the products for a while. But that didn't happen to me and it was a good exchange. My experience with them was super.
