I am a 76 year old male with diabetes and end stage kidney failure. I do in home dialysis and have to wake up twice a night to drain correctly. Therefore when I can sleep it is very important that it is a quality that's very important to me. We had a very old mattress that needed to be replaced so we went to the 28th street store in Grand Rapids to get a new mattress. Things went well and we laid down on a bunch of mattresses. Since I'm on a fixed income we live paycheck to paycheck. Since I'm a bit overweight the sales rep recommended a memory foam mattress and he had a floor model Tempur-Pedic that would be ideal for us. I got to lay down on it for a couple of minutes and it seemed like it would fill the bill. Then the salesman said the only thing wrong with the floor sample was it was a no return sale. We felt that with Mattress Firm's good reputation we'd be fine. How wrong I was.
After sleeping on our new mattress for a two weeks I was waking up with aches and pains in my back and sides. I was feeling worse than I did with the old mattress. I called my salesperson and the most I got from him was that I was wasting my time talking to him and talk to Tempur-Pedic. I didn't have much luck with them. The mattress is getting worse rapidly. I personally think the mattress you sold me should have been taken to the dump and not sold to anyone. About 14 or so inches along both edges are softer than the center of the mattress and keeps pulling us down onto the area with little or no support. We paid $1000.00 for this mattress and it is making us feel worse than ever. We've tried everything to make it work but don't know where to go from here. I feel this sale was below the standards for Mattress Firm.

Mattress firm really needs to re-evaluate who they are using to deliver their Mattresses. Initially I was planning to pick up the mattress but was talked out of it by our salesman, weight, difficulty moving, etc. The first mattress they ripped a small hole in and said they would replace it. Second delivery they brought a mattress that was so contorted nobody could possibly sleep on it, but the movers (who spoke little English) said it would flatten in 2 hours. 4 hours later it's just as bad, Mattress Firm can do nothing until the truck checks back in (24-48 hours) to get ANOTHER mattress sent out. At this point we have nothing to sleep on, they wouldn't even bring back the one they took earlier that morning. Terrible. Never again.

H&R Copperleaf luxury firm mattress - Well where do I begin? The first mattress set delivered had the dust ruffle hanging down to the floor. The suggestion I received was to "just glue or staple" it. The second problem was hearing noises getting in and out of bed, like defective springs sound. I got the set swapped out soon after that. I am on the second mattress set now and after a bit of break-in time the sides have no support and no matter where you sleep you sink into the mattress making for a very uncomfortable sleep. Very dissatisfied with this purchase. I will be contacting the store today for a complete return today so I will be able to buy a quality mattress set. I think this will be my one and only time purchasing a mattress from Mattress Firm.
Updated on 03/02/2018: This is the 2nd mattress. The first set had the springs making all sorts of noises and sounds cracking and popping. They replaced the mattress with another one. The replacement mattress had the same problems! My 10+ year old mattress had better construction. No communication! I would give less than ONE STAR if I could! Do not do business with this company. I will be filing a complaint with BBB next! Will NEVER do business with Mattress Firm EVER! I wasted over $1000 on a useless mattress I cannot even sleep on! Despicable product!

I purchased my mattress at a promotion through OC fair. At the time of the purchase they said they would give me a great discount and my pillows and sheets would be thrown in there for free. I received a bill for almost $7000 which include $700 of pillows and sheet set. Who pays that much and I didn't even want it in the first place? I refused shipment and returned that to sender. At which juncture I tried to contact the salesperson to ask questions on my bill to no avail. Each time I would contact the 1-800 number and all they said was they would email my salesperson.
This went on for four separate times within last two months! Then I attempted to send a written letter to Mattress Firm in San Diego which was address written on my order. After five separate attempts and no response I am perturbed. My bed is still uncomfortable, the service stinks and now all I want to do is return everything! As stated I have 180 days trial with return 100% money back. Please contact me. I would not prefer to talk or work with the salesperson who has not contacted me.

My old mattress was really messed up and was hard. Mattress Firm is more comfortable and I sleep a lot better on it. I don't snore and toss as much, so that's good. But when I got my mattress, the box spring was messed up. Mattress Firm did a good job replacing it quickly so everything went smoothly. They did great and I appreciated their service. I'm happy with them.

Third time is a charm (missed 10/27 and 11/01). After a few phone calls back and forth our mattress was delivered today 11/3/27 as promised. Nathan did a great job in selling the mattress and answering our questions however, the experience was overshadowed by the poor scheduling of delivery. But with that being said the folks were apologetic and understanding of our frustrations- I had no problem with the mattress being available or unavailable just in the fact that whomever is responsible for contacting the customer to arrange delivery failed to do so twice. Bottom line in the end the mattress was delivered as promised within the window as promised.

Purchased a mattress on 10/22/17 with a delivery date of 10/27/17, took the day off from work only to find out that there would be no delivery, I had to call as no one from the company had the courtesy to call me. After many phone calls another delivery date was set for 11/1/17, with another day off. And lo and behold the same non-delivery with the same no call from Mattress Firm. The sales associates involved were Nathan ** and Katie **. I was able to reach Nathan who was no help and Katie was unreachable either by phone or her preferred method text.
There seems to be no one reachable or accountable at Mattress Firm, they want to reschedule delivery for 11/3/17. I am reluctant unless I can speak with someone who can put their hands on the mattress - so far Mattress Firm has not been able to locate such a person? Customer Service can answer the phone but are unable to do anything else. Waiting to see what happens next?

I was just passing by and popped in at Mattress Firm and I eventually bought two mattresses, a king and a queen. The salesman was good. However, I left right away and have been out of town for over two weeks so I haven't had the chance to experience the mattresses after delivery.

Purchased this mattress (Simmons Beautyrest Ashaway) 10/23/2015. Within a matter of months it was all sunk in at the head of the mattress and the center also. Contacted Mattress Firm and it was replaced 7/30/2016. Within a few months it has happened again. So disgusted. Simmons has been around for years and I think they make one quality of mattress to sell at Mattress Firm to sell for less and a better quality sold in furniture stores for instance. I wish I would have done my homework before buying from them. I have never had such a poor quality of mattress in my 57 yrs of life.

I am so very upset and sick about this. My salesman was great. However when it came to explaining about the non refundable returnable mattress base he seemed to omit some VERY important information. We purchased an adjustable base and mattress and absolutely hate both of them! We spent a lot of time with the salesman and mattress playing with all the features and the salesman explained that if we were unhappy we can return it within 120 days. Just give the mattress 30 days which we did.
Found out 30 days later that we can return the mattress but cannot return the base which is $3600!!! Why wouldn't they point that out when I was signing all the paperwork? He made it sound like I could return the whole thing the day we purchased but now when I call to return the whole thing he brings up the FINE PRINT!!! Seriously would have reconsidered the whole purchase if I knew then and there that I couldn't return a $3600 item! I really wished I liked this thing and now I am totally stuck with it.
So please make sure that if you purchase anything from them or any bed store that you read the fine print and ASK your salesman if everything is returnable. Make them say it! Do not trust them! I will never trust Mattress Firm now which I have purchased from in the past. I will tell everyone to avoid them because their salesmen do not tell you everything you need to know especially when you are trying to invest in over $9000. Instead you will hear that it's in the fine print and it's an industry standard. So you're stuck with it! Never again!

I bought two full-size mattresses, a queen and a king, and a queen box spring from Mattress Firm. But it wasn't all at the same time. Both reps that I’ve dealt with were very nice, helpful and were really quick. I picked out my mattresses and they rang me up really quick. The first guy had to make changes to the mattress delivery and he was incredibly helpful with that. So, it was a really great experience.

I purchased a full size set and a queen mattress during the Labor Day sale and did not receive any discount {per the Labor Day sale signs} nor did I ever receive my 2 free pillows. I have spoken to everyone without satisfaction. Even a supervisor didn't help. Please help.

I purchased a mattress in August and had to return cause was too hot. I returned and purchased a Serta 300 and was so pleased with it and the customer service from the sales clerk Andre. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I really appreciated the time he took with me and led me to the right mattress. I am so pleased with the new one. Thanks!

I was pleasantly surprised to get a phone call from Mattress Firm. Adam F., at a NY office was empathetic and sincere in his approach to helping me. After a few simple questions, he shocked me by offering to cover this product under a warranty. He emailed a voucher, so I can start the exchange process. I want to be clear that in no way was I expecting a "free" mattress. This is a voucher so I now have some funds to put down on a better suited mattress. I can not tell you how this will impact my life. I will be able to sleep. My son and I will not have to argue and take turns using the "good bed" in my home. This is a blessing and an answer to prayer. Thank you Mattress Firm, and Adam. This level of service is something I never expected. Thank you for resolving this issue.

Hampton & Roads 300 - I will start out by saying I am partially to blame for not being an educated buyer. Two years ago I financed two mattresses. A Queen for myself. A full for my 14 year old son. After six months my son's mattress had a bad sag in the middle. He was, and is an average size teenager. He slept on it for another couple months. We ended up at a chiropractor who told me he needed to be on a much firmer mattress. So I moved him to my queen bed which we did know was a firmer mattress. (That is all I knew). I then slept on his bed for a couple months. I also had the same back issues. So now for about a year I have been sleeping on the couch. Mattresses are not cheap and as a single mom I just could not fit it in my budget.
After being miserable and not effective at my job, I contacted my store, and asked if anything could be done. I do want to mention that Ben at my local store. (zip code 80918) was very professional, understanding, polite, and truly tried to help. Since I only know one thing, and that is the queen mattress we bought was better and good for my son, I asked Ben to look up that mattress. (HR 400, house brand with coils). A 540.00 value and Ben offered me a steal at 326.00 out the door. Sadly, that's right, I do not have 326.00 out the door at this time. A decent deal was offered.
As I started out with... A) I should have educated myself before the shopping. B) I could have been upsold because I was financing at the time. C) I should have reported the issue at the six month mark. This is not a slam on Mattress Firm. Just a buyer beware of sorts. Know what you are purchasing. Insurance did not cover Chiropractic care for my son. And I have not slept in months and months. But now I know what I need when I can afford another mattress.

I recently bought a mattress and adjustable base. The mattress was just ok for me, but it was too soft for my husband, and too stiff for the adjustable base. I almost slid off the bed when raising the head of the bed, the mattress didn't bend well. My husband and I decided to return it all and revert to our old bed. Mattress Firm will take the bed, but not the base! I didn't know this! What is the reason for this policy? What am I supposed to do with an $900 base that I can't use? I feel completely ripped off.

On 11/24/2014 I ordered a Manorville mattress and box springs from Amazon. Less than a year later, I detected broken springs in the mattress. Amazon promptly refunded my money. They stated that I would need to order the replacement from Mattress Firm. I placed the order with Mattress Firm and received a Simmons Beautyrest Recharge World Class Kimble Luxury Firm mattress and box spring set. After fifteen months of use, I discovered broken springs again. This was in a different location than where the springs broke on the their mattress. I contacted Amazon and they gave me the contact information for Mattress Firm.
I spoke to Zuri, the Mattress Firm agent. She advised me that there was no warranty on the mattress and denied the claim. I asked her by email, on three different occasions to furnish their home office contact information and had no response. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, DO BUSINESS WITH MATTRESS FIRM! I have owned Beautyrest products for over fifty years and have been very satisfied with their products until now. Beautyrest is charging high prices for a substandard product. BUYER BEWARE!

So I went and bought a 1100.00 mattress less than 2 years ago, the sale clearly stated it wouldn’t break down. So here I am today with the worst mattress I’ve ever owned. Broke done in less than year. Had to buy a topper to make it even usable.

My husband and I were desperate to replace our old mattress so we impulsively stopped into a local one. I wish now that we had continued to drive by. We purchased a mattress along with the mattress protector, metal bed frame and 10 year warranty which we were told would cover the costs of replacement if anything was to go wrong with the mattress.
In less than a year, both sides of the mattress developed a deep, sunken in area. We called the store we purchased it from and were told that they couldn't help us. We were given another number to call. When calling this number (multiple times) we were informed it would cost $40 to have a person come "examine" our mattress to determine if the sagging areas were bad enough to be recommended for replacement. What? 1) Why are we required to pay some "inspector" to come look at the mattress? What good is paying for a 10 year warranty if you have to pay additional money to "possibly" be able to use it? 2) Since when are sagging holes that cause pain and sleepless nights an acceptable quality of "premium" $1300+ product? Mattress Firm has done zero to rectify this situation and has no pride in their service or products.

This was my first time using a third party service. I was using Genesis Credit with Mattress Firm. To start off I was already a little uneasy about using the service so I made my first payment 3 weeks early and paid two months worth. I called every week after to see if they had taken the money. I called every week with my bank as well to see if they had received any history of Genesis Credit asking for money. Genesis said they were waiting for a response and my bank never ever had a pending request. Come the actual due date for that month, I received a notification that my bank card was declined. I was of course upset that now something was happening and it was on the actual due date causing me to be "late". This resulted in me trying once more online to pay directly from my bank of which they declined. I called Genesis Credit over the phone and they tried it as well.
They then proceeded to tell me that my form of payment (my only form of payment) was not allowed. So I called my bank again, and asked if they had received any request from Genesis Credit and they checked again with the answer no. When I last talked to Genesis they explained to me that I not only owed them the first month payment but the second month as well. So of course I went through the process to return the mattress to Mattress Firm. They just said "We are sorry to hear things did not work out but we do not work directly with the third part." I began to pay them for the delivery at the store because that I knew I had to pay for. They said because I did business with the third party Genesis Credit I would have to pay them the delivery fee. I was very disappointed because I had just explained to them the whole situation on how I could not pay them directly because they would not take my information.
With all that being said, I will not be doing business with either company ever again. I disappointed that a company with employees like that can work and live with that "integrity" knowing that they are being deceitful and dishonest to customers about how well their services are. I am leaving a 1 because if you know your third party is a bust and you know that the customer has explained they do not have a lot of money, then why sell them to get screwed over. My credit is ruined...

I purchased an Infinite Massage Chair at a Mattress Firm Event held at our local fair on September 16th, 2017. At the fair, we were told the chair would arrive within two weeks. Two weeks passed and nothing arrived. I contacted my sales rep about the issue who then advised the chair would arrive by the end of the third week. Week three came, still no chair. Contacted my sales rep again and this time was told it would arrive by the end of week four. Week four passed, still, nothing.
Finally, I contacted the local warehouse directly and was told there is currently no local inventory and delivery may take ANOTHER 6-8 weeks! In my attempt to cancel the order, I was informed it would cost $750 to cancel as event shows has different return policies than in-store purchases. However, the $750 cancellation fee only applies up to 7 days and that beyond 7 days, no cancellation options are available and all sales are final. We're now left waiting for a product that was promised in two weeks with NO ONE being to provide us an update with a definitive delivery date. So, BUYERS BEWARE at Mattress Firm events. Unless MF can verify your LOCAL warehouses has stock of your product, please use extreme caution when making a purchase as you may be left waiting for a long time with no clear delivery date as we have.
All we have been looking for is someone to clearly verify that there is stock available and a final delivery date is set. However, my sales rep, customer service or the local shops have been unable to provide such information still, one month after the original transaction. I would like to see Mattress Firm make this right because as it currently stands, I have been very disappointed with their service.
If we were told from the jump that delivery could take 6-8 weeks, we would have been pessimistic about the purchase but would at least respect the honesty of the availability and delivery. When 2 weeks turn to 3, then 3 turns to 4, now 4 is on its way to 5, the perception is the business is not being very truthful. How can they make it right for us? 1. Provide a clear delivery date in writing and hold true to that date. OR/IF NOT. 2. Admit the manufacturer has no inventory to fulfill the sale and terminate the sales contract free of charge based on availability (or lack thereof.)

I’m a college student and I needed a cheap mattress, and Mattress Firm had one queen mattress left. They also had one opening delivery left. Their delivery guy was amazing and he let me know what I needed to do and helped me put my mattress on the frame as well. He helped me put my sheets right. I even got decorative things and he helped me put it on the box part. I ended up getting blessed and it was a great experience.

We purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm in September. The sales rep was really good, except now I feel we were swindled into buying the expensive adjustable base, and now that we are dissatisfied with it, it is non-returnable. While in the store, I had concerns of how wobbly the adjustable base made the mattress. My one mandatory request was that I could not feel the mattress move while both my husband and I were sleeping. The sales rep assured me that we would like the adjustable base so much, that we would hardly move during the night. We would both be sleeping on our back, in a position that was most comfortable.
WELL.... False advertising! We picked up the bed the same day we purchased it. We put it on top of the Tempur-Pedic box that we had. That night was the best night of sleep I had in years!!! We were so excited to have a good mattress again. The adjustable base was backed order, so we couldn't have it right away. It would be a couple weeks before it arrived. The following weeks were great - the new mattress made for a great night's sleep.
Finally, the adjustable base arrived. We picked it up, and got it into the house. Right away, after opening the box, I have concerns of the quality of the base. The top portion that raised, appeared to have a lot of movement. We went ahead and moved it into the bedroom, and got the mattress on top. Right away, the squeaky noise was unbearable. Evidently not everything was tightened and it made a terrible squeaky noise. The first night was terrible. I figured it would take a few nights to get the correct adjustment.
After numerous nights, we finally left the base completely flat. Regardless of the position it was in, the bed had terrible movement. Every time I moved, or my husband moved, you could feel the mattress move. This was the ONE mandatory request I had, and the sales rep assured me that it would not be an issue. Thank goodness we did not toss our Tempur-Pedic box. We switched the base out with the box. Finally, a good night's sleep again... But now, I'm stuck with a $1799 adjustable base, and a company that will not return this base. False advertising by the sales rep, yes. Unsatisfactory results from Mattress Firm, yes. Satisfied customer - heck NO!

After purchasing an extra firm queen bed, which costed over $3000, one would like to expect no issues. The first bed delivered had a defect around the bottom cording area of the mattress and the inners were coming out due to what looked to be a sewing issue. DEFECT, it could void the warranty so we sent it back. A replacement came. The height of the bed is listed as 14.7; our bed is barely 13 all the way around. AND the consumer tag looks as if it was cut off by pinking shears and then adhered back on by a plastic piece! Could this 2nd bed have been a return by someone else? I'm thoroughly disgusted by the way the some of the salespeople at the store locations handle issues and complaints. Some won't even give us their last names! My spouse just had open heart surgery 2 weeks ago and the bed is desperately needed for him. I'm at my wit's end, literally sickened in my gut from this company's shenanigans!

I bought a Beauty Rest in the middle of this year from Mattress Firm. I've been fighting the warranty company for an exchange cause the mattress sink in the middle. I even sent pictures but as usual they don't care. I'm paying for this mattress that is very uncomfortable to sleep on. I can't believe I spent over 5,000 and Mattress Firm won't help me. This is just a few pictures but when you see it in person it seems more worse.

This was the second mattress I’ve bought from them. The first one lasted about 5 years. Buying the mattress went well. 2 years later the mattress started to sag. Tried to get it replaced or repaired. No chance. Reason - did not sag enough for warranty. They charge $25.00 for a kit to measure the sag which is a string, washer, and a triangle cardboard with measuring marks on it. Will not be buy another Serta mattress again. Seems they don't back up their product.

I have neck, shoulder and back issues so it’s hard to find a bed for me. We were across the street at Sleep Number and my husband said he was trying to find a nice bed and not a Cadillac. So, we went to Mattress Firm and we purchased a BlackICE Beautyrest. However, I was so uncomfortable and I could not sleep on it. We returned that and we got a different one. It’s not adjustable and that’s what we’re going to have to look into next time. But this time, we wanted to try a mattress. I do like the newer bed better. I still have pain and I think that’s just because I needed an adjustable bed, but I can’t afford it at this time. Nonetheless, their reps were great.
The guys in Port Orange store where we bought the BlackICE Beautyrest were awesome. When we went to the New Smyrna store to return bed, the reps acted like they couldn’t do it at first but they did it anyway and everything was all right. They were very professional, they put a red carpet down, and they wore things on their feet. We had a great time and service in picking out our mattress. I’d recommend it to anybody else that was looking for a mattress.

I purchased 2 queen mattresses, 2 queen box "springs" and 2 metal bed frames to be delivered to my new home in Tucson. I used the online chat to do the purchasing. I was assured the mattress, boxes and frames would be to the specification given them (copies of invoice from a competitor). I stressed that I wanted the metal frames to be heavy duty and on wheels. All the items were run by a supervisor at MF for approval. All six items were delivered and set up. Delivery great. Mattress were great. Boxes great. Frames NOT. The legs were bent on both sets and not on wheels as requested and poor quality.
I contacted MF again through the chat line and was told "there was too much information for her to read so could I just tell her what I wanted." My short response, "I want the frames I ordered." I was then asked to resend all previous information, did I have proof of my previous online chat approval, and that a supervisor would have to approve any replacement. What? I just bought almost $2,000 dollars worth of beds and they want me to prove I had an online approval for the specifics I ordered. I was told the supervisors have copies of all online chats. Couldn't they check this out? I was asked if I could send them a picture from a different store of the frame that was ordered. What? A difference to replace the cheap, bent frames with the ones I requested is approximately $40. I asked them to have a supervisor call me. Nothing.

We attended a tent event and thought we got a deal on a very expensive mattress set. A full month later and several mix ups, we still do not have our actual order. We have something we didn't order to try to keep us satisfied and hate it! Now they're saying 2 more weeks to get our chosen mattress. They keep giving us delivery dates, then not showing up. We're on our 3rd set of order numbers/email receipts. We went into a store and they were very rude and said that "That's what we get for buying at an event." I will never use this company again.

I initially purchased a mattress from Mattress Firm in April and used my grace period to exchange the mattress for a new one. After a few months we noticed that one side of the mattress was dipping, as a result of this "dip" I have had back pains and even resorted to visiting the chiropractor. I called Mattress Firm and they were able to send someone free of charge to inspect the mattress, the inspector admitted after measuring the mattress that there was a definite dip and that this mattress was "no good", that I should be contacted within a week by Mattress Firm. Finally, the email response came in, the "dip" was normal wear and tear. Mind you, this mattress is less than 5 months old. We spoke to a representative who stated the same thing that they cannot do anything because it is "normal wear and tear, because the dip was less than 1.5 inches". I was told however, if it dips more I can request another inspection.
Disappointment does not begin to describe how I feel. Having spent $1239.99 tax not included, on a mattress and within a few months having this issue is unbelievable. I would understand "normal wear" over a long period of time, but 5 months. Now I’m questioning the quality of such an expensive and "great" mattress. To make matters worse I can't even enjoy this mattress that I spent a pretty penny on. Because of this dip and back pains I am now sleeping on the floor or on my couch.

Mattress Firm was having a lot of sales going on. The guy that helped us was really friendly. He asked us a bunch of questions to figure out what we needed. He asked us what we're looking for and what kind of mattresses do we need. We told him what we needed for the kids and he was really knowledgeable about the options that he gave us.
So we purchased three children's mattresses from them. They delivered it to our house and they told us the delivery date. And they told us they would call half an hour before they get here, which they did. And then they called again when they were outside. So far, they were great except for one mattress. It's sinking and it made a big indentation. Since it was uncomfortable for my kid, we called the store and they were able to take care of that defective mattress. They got us another one in a short amount of time. It was really great. They were able to do that and it made us really happy.

I ordered multiple mattresses online a month ago and scheduled delivery. The drivers were young and brought the largest size truck, despite my advising the sales rep we live on a mountain. The mountain is not impossible to drive, as I am a 5'3" woman who drove a 18-20 ft moving truck up here multiple times. Anyways, they got stuck and we were blocked in for a few hours. The drivers promised they would schedule a delivery the next morning and not to worry. No one ever showed up or called. I live in another state, so delivery later in the week was not an option.
A month later, we found ourselves returning to the mountain house. A week before arrival, we called the Asheville store to schedule delivery. A gruff-voiced sales associate answered the phone and told me delivery this weekend (this is Tuesday) would not be allowed. They have inventory and "a lot of counting all week." He also advised that my order "was garbage" and whoever I ordered it from gave me bad advice. He told me I needed to spend $150 more. I was open to his suggestion, and he told me he would call back tomorrow. I never heard from him again.
2 days later, I called the Asheville store again to attempt to schedule delivery. I told a nice young man the whole story and advised them to bring a smaller truck. This was confirmed via email and text. Sure enough, the date of arrival, they send up the same truck with the same drivers, who refuse to come up again. Apparently Mattress Firm makes their employees pay the tow fees, which seems sad.
The drivers tell me to call the Warehouse in Greenville SC. I call the warehouse and the guy pretty much says I'm out of luck. He won't send a smaller truck the next day (Monday), and he cannot even guarantee Tuesday. I spoke with 2 customer service reps who told me "they could guarantee later in the week." Apparently none of the 7 people I talked to in the last month heard that I live in another state and am only around for a few days at a time. The service and communication from this company has been unprofessional, and I hate nothing more than to have my time wasted. I was offered a 10% discount, which was just insulting. I want the product, not a discount.

After purchasing a bed over the phone and scheduling the delivery a week later, I found out the night before after "I" contacted them that bed will not be delivered on the day it was scheduled. This wouldn't be such an inconvenience if I wasn't moving to a new city a couple hours away in a new apt where I had to squeeze in a time to reserve the freight elevator. I'm not even sure if they can deliver the following day (as the person online promised) since it's a federal holiday and frankly, no longer trust anyone associated with this company. I will be sure to tell friends and family to avoid Mattress Firm/Sleepys at all cost if they actually value decent and timely service. I have every intent on cancelling my order tomorrow morning, since it's 11 PM and they can't actually cancel my order online because you know, that would actually make sense and be convenient.

Mattress Firm had a promotion where when you buy a mattress over $2500 then you get a Yeti cooler and the sheets come with it. At the beginning, they sent me a survey and I was very happy because I thought I was getting everything I was supposed to. Then I had to call about three weeks later for the Yeti and it was sold out. I was there on the first day of the sale and the guy said they’ve already run out of the Yeti, but it made me believe that there wasn’t even an offer. Why did they advertise across the country if they only had three Yetis? And I had to return the sheet on the same day as it wasn’t even a full fit. I didn’t return the mattress because I like it but I won’t be dealing with Mattress Firm anymore. I got scammed.

Mattress Firm’s products are really good and I’m pleased with them. I needed mattresses for my two guest bedrooms, but I didn’t want to spend a whole bunch of money because they would just be sitting there. The salesman from Mattress Firm helped me with that and everything went well. I got the better deal that I could get. I would tell friends that if they need mattresses, they need to at least check it out with Mattress Firm.

Mattress Firm happened to be in the area where I was looking for a mattress. I wasn’t sure if they were open because it was early in the morning, but they were. I ended up buying a mattress and an adjustable bed frame that goes up and down. The sales rep was a nice gentleman and he explained everything. He showed me the sample of how the mattress works and where you can see the inside of the mattress. He was very good, professional and explained to me all the different colored tags.
The delivery people were here on time on the day they said they were going to be here. They set up the bed and took my old bed out. They explained everything to me before they left and I have not had one bit of a problem with it. I love my purchase. But I'm a little bit short and the height of the bed is a little bit too high for me. It's the way it is but if I sit on the edge of the bed, I almost slide off. I also bought my wife a lavender memory foam pillow and she likes it very much. Everything that I got at Mattress Firm I’ve been very satisfied with.

I went with Mattress Firm due to their proximity to my apartment and that their prices were a little bit cheaper than other companies. It was a 4th of July sale and I saw what I wanted. Ordering process was really easy and fast. A live chat popped up when I was on the website and asked if I needed help. I ordered a regular mattress, a box spring, and a frame through it and said that I'd like to have them shipped around a certain time time and they were able to do that for me. They came a few hours early which worked out, but I would have liked it if they stuck to the time frame. But, once they were here, they were super quick and they put the items where I wanted them, so it was good.

We purchased a new mattress and the salesman suggested we also get their top of the line mattress cover. We did not actually try out the mattress cover but I assumed for $250 it would be pretty good, if not great. However, it turns out the mattress cover makes the mattress noticeably less comfortable. But Matress Firm will not let us return the cover, so we have to eat the $250. Though I am satisfied with the comfort of the mattress, after spending almost $3000 there I am not a happy customer. Definitely won't buy from them again.

I went into Mattress Firm and bought two mattresses. I worked with pleasant people, but there were a few that weren't. I was told that I could pay three months the same with cash. I thought I had a good deal. I said, "I can pay for one now. Then I'll go ahead and get another one because I'm selling my house and I'll be able to pay for the other one within three months." I signed the paperwork and I thought it was good. It was for $600. However, they were supposed to bring my bed to me and they forgot me. And when they did bring the bed, it was the wrong size. It was a queen and mine is a full. I went back and then they forgot to reorder the other one for me. I went another week and a half without one. It was weird that they kept forgetting to order the bed for me. It wasn't the poor delivery people's fault. It was because they were never told to bring me a bed. I finally went in three weeks ago.
I talked to somebody on the phone and he said that he wasn't at the store that I had initially bought the bed from. He was downtown farther. I wasn't driving at that time so it took me a couple of days. I went back to the one in Francis and that guy was rude with me and he said he wasn't the one who dealt with me. I told the guy downtown what had happened to me at the store. I finally got a mattress, and then I decided that it was too high off the ground. That's when I found out that both the beds were put on the charge deal when I cancelled the second one. I thought I had the first one paid for. They still have me owing $600 when I shouldn't be and that still hasn't been taken care of.

My husband tends to weigh more than he should, so the first mattress we got from them got floppy and had one big hole in the middle. They were nice about it because we had a certain time to return it if we had a problem. So far, the quality of the mattress that they delivered and set up this time has been good. While the salesperson at the store was nice and knowledgeable, my needs remain unmet. I purchased my bed Labor Day weekend and to date I have been sleeping on an uneven platform. I have taken off work for two deliveries and still haven't received the correct product. I was told I could get a premium base but I would have to pay for shipping... unacceptable. The happy guarantee hasn't been honored. I called to complain and no option had been given to acknowledge my complaint. The looped message says I have to call the store. I asked my salesperson to give me Manager info and she said, “Good luck finding them.” This is my second mattress purchase with them and it took three deliveries to get that purchase finalized but they were so accommodating I decided to give them another try. I buy only mattresses at Mattress Firm and I keep purchasing from them because of the quality and the staff. I bought my first mattress from Mattress Firm over the phone when I lived in Florida. I had the mattress for 5 years before I moved from Florida in 2001 so it's the longest one I had. I could have had it longer if my grandchildren didn't jump in it. Then, I wanted something firmer so Mattress Firm told me to get the one up than what my husband had. But what I got was too soft so I went into the store by the Walmart in Linden. I told the gentleman there that I needed something firm for my back and he helped me. He led me to what I really wanted and it's perfect. They were also honest because I wanted it delivered the next day but they said it was scheduled on another time.
When my other daughter moved the baby with us, with her two little ones, I went to the store and got beds for them. The guys at the store were very helpful, pleasant, professional, and did good service. I wanted 2 twins for the girls but the rep suggested I go with the double so I could get more out of it. The double beds worked out perfectly and the little ones were very happy. I convinced my daughter to take a firm mattress, but it was too firm for her. Still, the mattresses are great and I have very good experience with Mattress Firm. They are awesome, outstanding and fantastic.

I have a heart problem and I thought getting one of the beds that elevate the feet was my answer. We bought the bed frame at Mattress Firm, then we got the first memory foam mattress. The guy we talked to was very nice and helpful. But I must be allergic and the memory foam mattress was not a good answer for me. So, we got a regular, eight-inch mattress, but that didn’t work because it got all scrunched up when I put the bed up. Then we got the medium memory foam, which makes me hot, but we can't change the mattress now that we're on our third mattress. Mattress Firm delivered the mattresses every time. The delivery guys always asked if we wanted them to wear the foot thing, which was nice, but I used to work for a company and they never even asked but just wore it. But other than that, they were very nice guys and everything went well with them.

We were shopping for a mattress and we heard the commercials that Mattress Firm does benefits for foster kids so we went there to check the prices and try a mattress. The sales rep showed us a mattress and was very nice. We sat and lay down on it and then went to another place. I didn't want to keep worrying and find different prices so we decided to go back to Mattress Firm. The staff were very kind. We bought a twin size mattress for my granddaughter and she has been sleeping there a couple of times from the time I bought it. My daughter sleeps on it also when she's staying at our house. In the future, if I need a mattress or a bed, I'll go straight to Mattress Firm and I will recommend them to my friends.

Ok well today I went into the store and was told that I have to sleep on the mattress for 30 days. I won't be able to walk in thirty days. They acted as if my concerns were not their problem. We purchased the split king bed from Mattress Firm at the Oklahoma State Fair on Wednesday, September 20th. We were told they had a discount on a floor model. It had more bells and whistles than we were interested in. However they had another they would give us a good deal on. We selected the rest and relax mattress (one firm-one plush).
We were told by sales person Mark ** that we could get the adjustable base like the floor model minus the vibrating and Bluetooth feature. We even discussed the plugin and USB plug on each side of the base and Mark said the one we would get would have that feature. So we agreed to the sale and the ticket was prepared for us financing completed etc.
However, the experience went downhill from there. The bed was set to be deliver on Tuesday, September 26. Because of rain the delivery truck was LATE, they brought two firm mattresses instead of one firm one plush. Then to top that off the base we were led to believe we would get was not the one delivered. The adjustable base we received was the very basic model and was no special deal - it was list price on the mattress firm website! I feel like we were lied to in order to make a sale, totally misrepresenting the product they actually ordered for us.
I received a call Tuesday night from another sales person named Zack (**) apologizing for the mistake and saying they would make an attempt to make it right. When I asked about the mixup on the adjustable base he said Mark didn’t know all the product details and so misinformed us - he was a manager not a sales associate helping out that day. It’s surprising to me that a manager doesn’t know the products the company sells.
At this point in time the only thing that has been resolved is the correct mattress is scheduled to be delivered Thursday, Oct 5. Seems like over a week is a long time to wait given the fact they made the delivery mistake. Zack said he would call today (9-27) sometime after noon and never heard a word from him. I really feel we were lied to!

We bought an adjustable bed from Mattress Firm two months ago and the sales rep was very nice. The bed was delivered on time, however, the delivery men did not bring one part that they were supposed to bring so they had to come back the next day to fix it. They did bring the one part the next day, however, we have our own headboard and they did not bring the proper screws to fit it in. They gave me the size and they said, “No, he cannot come back again". So, we had to get somebody else who came to do some handiwork at home. We were seniors so we cannot lift the headboard up that's why we couldn't sleep for another 4 days until the guy came and did his job to fix it up. Overall, our experience was very good and the staff was very friendly.

I purchased a Simmons Phenom 12" Super Plush Queen mattress for $2,000 three years ago. I felt good spending this amount of money since it came with a 10 year warranty. I recently noticed a lot of sagging so much so that only one person can sleep on the mattress comfortably. If two people sleep on it, they both end up in the middle of the mattress. I called Mattress Firm and paid $25 for a warranty kit to be mailed to me. After submitting the required photos I got a rejection letter stating that the bed frame was not adequate. My particular bed frame was $2,500 from Restoration Hardware and it is very adequate. I feel like Mattress Firm will use any excuse possible to reject a warranty claim, thus, I believe they're using faulty business practices. I would consider amending my negative review if Mattress Firm would honor my warranty.

I purchased SmartREACT which is a pillow top mattress and the sales rep was very helpful. He showed me the different price points and I didn't feel pressured to purchase anything. We bought our mattress from Mattress Firm store at Fallon Gateway. We had our delivery for our new Serta ISeries Hybrid ISeries 100 Firm Matt King Prime (SKU# V000095371) mattress today (Saturday 09/23/17). We are completely disappointed and unhappy with their service and the delivery guys who first came to our house for delivery. As mentioned in the invoice they were requested to move our existing Serta ISeries Hybrid ISeries 100 Firm Matt Queen Prime mattress to the guest bedroom and put the new king size mattress in the master bedroom.
The guy did not seem happy about it. There were two people who came but instead of both of them lifting the mattress, one guy just started dragging the mattress from the master bedroom and down the stairs. I have never seen anyone mishandle and abuse a mattress with no concern of it getting damaged whatsoever like this guy did. He then pushed the mattress down the stairs and around the corner by himself when the back of the mattress got ripped while going around the stair landing. I was extremely annoyed and angry when I saw the tear.
The existing queen size mattress apart from this new tear, has never had any damage and has been kept in an excellent condition as you can see from the attached photos. There was no tear whatsoever in the mattress before the mishandling by their delivery guy. Since the damaged happened by your guys which was not there before, I would request you to get the Serta ISeries Hybrid ISeries 100 Firm Matt Queen Prime mattress replaced with a new one. Please feel free to contact me if you need more details.
On another note, I also saw the same guys throw our brand new king size mattress from the truck on to the road and push and shove the mattress rather than taking care of the mattress so that it does not get damaged while moving it to the master bedroom. They also told us that our adjustable base was damaged and will not be able to install it.
We are very unhappy with your service and mishandling of both our mattresses without any care or concern of it getting damaged. We have never seen delivery guys throw brand new products out of the delivery truck on to the road rather than being careful, lifting it up and carrying it so that it does not get damaged. We went to the store and complained on the same day. We also emailed the same day with all the details and photos both to the store as well as customer service department but no one has bothered to contact us or take care of the damaged mattress. We hope someone from Mattress Firm Corporate office will contact us after this terrible experience.

We got two complete bed sets from Mattress Firm - a queen and a king, and both are Beautyrest mattresses. The sales rep was wonderful. She answered a lot of our questions. She was so much help and had so much good information. We only went in to look because we knew we wanted Beautyrest. I usually buy my Beautyrest mattresses from Macy's which is in Austin and we didn't want to drive there.
We just got rid of our guestroom double bed in order to get a queen size bed so that's all I really was looking for. We got this Sealy mattress. It felt okay when we lied on it, but it was a pillow top and it got really lumpy. Then when this lady talked us into the Beautyrest king size bed, we liked it very much. It didn't get much over the price yet credited for the amount for the queen size. And she said that it's one of the better beds so that kind of what tipped me over into getting both of them from Mattress Firm. I like our Beautyrest very much. I feel like I get a better night sleep on it. The financial thing was good too. However, we haven't gotten the bill yet and I'm wondering if the paperwork got lost in the shuffle. But overall, it was an outstanding experience.

Got a call the night before with the expected time of delivery. From 11:30 - 1:30 p.m. The next day. 1:45 p.m. Rolls around today and I give them a call. Thinking the traffic was bad I just wanted to get an ETA. Their customer service line is non existent. Anything you try and go to will basically refer you back to the store. I paid over $3,000 for my mattress set. There should be a legit customer service line where a live person will answer your call.
So I call the guy at the store, he tracks it online and I ask him to give them a call for an update. He does, and calls me back. He then tells me they have already been to my house and left. I'm still calm at this point,... ok, tell them to come back (they are literally 4 minutes down the road). I am then told, "That's not our policy. You'll have to reschedule for another day." That's when I lost it. I was in the house the entire time. If you want service, do not buy from them. I am still waiting to hear back, I don't write reviews, but this is ridiculous.

I have bought a mattress out of necessity from Amazon and I wasn’t satisfied with it. Also, my parents bought another mattress for the room that I stay in, in their house, and I wanted the same mattress. But it was made just for the furniture store through another maker and there was no way to get it delivered down here. I ended up going with someone local. I kept seeing Mattress Firm stores everywhere and I bought a full-size pillow top mattress with a bunkie board from them. The Mattress Firm sales rep was very nice. I came in a side door that he didn’t notice and so, he was doing his own thing but he apologized for not realizing I was there. He pointed out the Labor Day sale that they had coming up and he said that they'd honor their prices even though it was a little bit before that. Also, he explained the exchange policy and delivery. So, he was very helpful.
The first delivery team delivered the mattress and the box spring when I’ve purchased the full-size box spring. And only one of them spoke English. They came at the end of the day and they did not explain to me that I could refuse the delivery and have it sent back, so I wouldn’t incur an additional delivery charge. They saw that the mattress and the box spring was almost taller than the headboard and they kind of almost said, “Okay. Sign here,” and they ran out. The store manager helped me with some of the delivery charges the second time around because of that. And the second team who came out and brought the replacement and took the other box spring back were great.
Overall, I’ve been satisfied with Mattress Firm. I’m still in the 120-day testing period but I’m a little disappointed with the performance of the product right now. It's not as good as the product in my parent's house. Also, it kind of gives a little bit more in the middle than on the side, and I didn’t expect it to do that this soon. So, I’m not sure if I’m going to keep it.

I filed a warranty claim on a bed that had a 10 year warranty and failed after 6. MF granted the claim, but would not replace. Which is clearly stated in warranty. Replace with comparable bed. They would only apply a credit toward a new bed. The credit only covered a model two down from what I had. Going from 1k coils to 600 is feathers to rocks. After contacting customer service and the warranty departments. Everyone would agree with you that it should be replaced at no charge, a swap. They promised to rectify situation, however as they called stores and managers nobody would return calls. Even tried to go through Simmons the bed manufacturer. Left in a stalemate. Still working on situation 2 months after claim was granted. Mattress Firm has no control of their branches.

At first, we wanted two mattresses but turned out those were not in stock, but he found us something compatible. A few days later, he found the two mattresses I wanted so he reached out to us. I needed a mattress for college. And since Mattress Firm was just two miles down the street and it looked like the best-advertised place in College Station online, I decided to purchase a pillow top mattress from them. Their sales rep was polite and he took care of us when we went in there. The mattress was awesome and a lot better than sleeping on the couch. It was an easy and quick experience and they have good customer service. It was a 10 out of 10 of mattress shopping.

I went through a divorce and got remarried, and I was telling my wife about a mattress I had before. We needed to go look at some mattresses and when we went in the Mattress Firm store, they had the ones that we were looking for half-off so we decided to buy it. The sales rep was great and he did a really good job. I was very satisfied with that experience. There was good service and the people were very friendly and courteous. Everything went well and we picked the mattress up afterwards.

I had the same Sleep Number bed for years with my husband. He recently passed away so I got a different bed. The sales rep was helpful, friendly, and patient in letting me lay down on the numerous mattresses. We went back and forth until I knew the one that I wanted was the one that I got. When it was delivered the guys took their shoes off before they came in, and they took down my other bed. I gave them a nice tip because I was very happy with them and what they did. The bed has been very comfortable and I haven't had any trouble with my back. It's nice to be able to sit up and read in a comfortable position without having to fiddle with pillows.
However, there was only one employee when I came in the store. The sales rep was by herself. It was very slow and she didn't know some of the information so she had to call several times when the time came to do the actual writing of things and prices. It was the same thing when I went back a few days later. There was only one employee in the entire store and they're really slow. It would be a big problem if three customers came in. I was fortunate nobody came in the day I was there. But if somebody else had come in, I would have felt rushed or not feel comfortable enough to keep trying different things or looking at different bases or asking different questions with that sales rep being the only one there. But it has been a long time since I have bed shopped and it was an easy and efficient experience.

I purchased a queen-size bed from Mattress Firm, which was across the parking lot from the grocery store we go to. We were the only ones in the store that morning and everybody was very courteous. The sales rep was very nice and knowledgeable. I lay on one bed for 10 seconds and I bought it. I’m very easy to please. The delivery team called and showed up on time. The two guys were very nice and they did everything they could. I’ve had the bed for over a week now and I love it. The product and the price were good and it was a good experience overall.

I needed a full-size mattress box spring and frame for my junior in college. So I bought one from a Mattress Spring store near my house and had it delivered at my son’s university. Since their prices are good, I’ve bought many beds from them in the past. Their sales representative was unbelievable. She’s so knowledgeable that she knew exactly what I want for someone in college when I came in. And I was there when it was delivered to my son’s private apartment. They called and gave us the time a day before. They were on the early side and they brought the mattress up the stairs. I have nothing but good things to say. It was a really incredible experience overall.

I've done business with Mattress Firm before when I was in New York and in Florida when they were 1-800-Mattress in the past. I was satisfied with the one I had before and it's been a generally positive experience and I needed a bed. I chose it since they had a better offer and better prices. I purchased a mattress and a box spring recently and it’s good, firm and it’s holding up. When I went into the store, the sales rep was very nice and helpful. I wasn’t there when they delivered the mattress into my new apartment but it went very smoothly. The mattress was beyond satisfaction and comfort. It works well and does what it’s supposed to do.

I purchased a Beautyrest mattress from Mattress Firm less than two years ago on 18 Nov 2015. This mattress is breaking down, not much support. I called showroom where I purchased mattress. Showroom refers me to Mattress Firm Corporate. I informed them of the problem. I was told that I had to "self inspect" the mattress myself with a kit that I had to purchase from Mattress Firm for $24.95. I asked if there was not someone in my area that worked such claims for Mattress Firm, answer was No.
I asked my options and was told to call Simmons Beautyrest. I called Simmons Beautyrest and they COMPLETELY BLEW ME OFF and told me it was a Mattress Firm issue!!! I do NOT recommend either Mattress Firm or Simmons Beautyrest to ANYONE. Businesses that make Seniors and Veterans PAY to have their faulty products inspected should be ASHAMED!!! I purchased a mattress (Sealy) over three years ago. It was supposed to have a warranty but when I tried calling Mattress Firm they punted stating they no longer deal with the warranty (and this was after a month of calling with no response). I had to call Sealy and they said I needed a proof of purchase from Mattress Firm (yes the company that said they had nothing to do with it) so now I am out. Both companies have decided to work together in order to leave the consumer out in the cold. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

The salesperson was very helpful in looking for what I want for the price range. He even called all the stores, trying to get me what I wanted. Mattress Firm's Beautyrest Recharge line seemed to be the line I'm interested in. There is a Mattress Firm store next to the Planet Fitness Gym that I go to so I stopped in to see and look at a few of them and then took my wife in to see some styles that she wanted too. Their sales representatives were fine. They were knowledgeable, very expedient, and helpful. I purchased a full size and a queen size Recharge Signature Select touch with mattress and box springs.
So far, my wife loves hers unconditionally. She thinks it’s very nice, while mine is pretty good too. I have a problem though as there’s a little bit of tingling in my left arm and I just had an ear surgery. So I have to sleep on my left side for a month and It’s not really conducive to a good sleep. But still, I find the bed comfortable. I’m satisfied with it and we're enjoying our purchase.

The reps at Mattress Firm were good and they explained what I was asking. I purchased an adjustable bed from them but there were no instructions on how to connect the remote control with the bed. It took me quite some time to find it out on YouTube. I would have appreciated it more if there were instructions. It would have been quicker. But I would recommend them and I will definitely buy again if I need one.

Original purchasing experience was OK, though the sales staff were handling 5 customers at once, each, so we didn't exactly get personalized experience. Full-sized Bed (for which we paid around $2,000) got delivered by a friendly crew, and all was awesome. Except that we got an adjustable base. Now, the base is neat and makes the bed comfortable to sit in bed, read, relax, etc. BUT, when the head of the bed is elevated, my feet hang off the edge! So, I call Mattress Firm based on their 100 night love it guarantee. And here's the catch. They would love to sell me a queen-sized mattress, but they say no returns or exchanges on adjustable beds. What am I supposed to do with a full-sized adjustable base and a queen-sized mattress? Definitely never shopping with Mattress Firm again. This is ridiculous.

Mattress Firm had the best price for the firm, twin extra long mattress I wanted. The sales rep who did everything for us was cool. He already got everything ready to go, but the other sales rep kept us waiting for 30 minutes as she made basic talking about college years and stuff. I sat there and listened to her life story and it took longer to process. She was on their computer and my rep was ignored. But then finally, he did it for five minutes. Also, it was nice how quickly they got the bed delivered and on time. I was impressed that they put the bed all together for me. The bed is working out great right now and I enjoy it.

I was with my mom and we bought a double bed from Mattress Firm for my apartment in college. We heard that they had a good back-to-school deal, and we've looked at a few other mattresses and we thought Mattress Firm had nice mattresses for better prices. I had an amazing time with the sales rep, John. He was extremely helpful and really patient. I kept taking one mattress down, putting another one up, and another one down just to see which one was the best for me. He was really accommodating and friendly.
We had two guys deliver the double bed and they were extremely nice. I made them move the bed a couple of times and they just smiled and said yes. The mattress itself is very easy and comfortable. It took about a month for it to be broken in and it's what I wanted. I'm very happy with the product. Mattress Firm is efficient and they have good customer service and good product. Everyone was so helpful that it just put me in a better mood and made my experience really nice.

I purchased just a box spring from Mattress Firm July 2017. Moving forward Sept 2017 I went to retrieve laundry from my children's room and I discovered bedbugs I pulled off the bottom of the box spring. I call customer service. They give me a case no and someone will contact me in 24 to 72 hrs. Both beds and platforms etc are all ruined. Have to be thrown out. Meanwhile I have a bedbug problem. Kids cannot sleep in their room. Purchased air mattresses. Unbelievable. I will never purchase anything from that store again not for bad merchandise but mostly because of the way they are handling this situation.

I was impressed with the wonderful lady at Mattress Firm. She was very knowledgeable of the different types of mattresses out there and how they are made, was friendly and helpful as well. We bought a box spring, mattress and a bed then I got the covering, the blanket, seats and the mattress protector. My son ended up liking the mattress. Our experience was all fine until I had an issue with the sheet. I also noticed that there was rust with the metal bed and I went to the store today to show the rep the picture. Gorby, the first guy I dealt with set everything up well and then I had trouble with the delivery. I was told that my delivery would be arriving around 7:00 at night and they wound up coming at 4:00, so I missed the delivery time. I had a truck and I told them that I could pick it up at any time and he said that he was going to do the delivery free of charge, which I actually found out on the receipt that they didn’t do it as free.
Then he told me that he couldn’t contact the drivers or he didn’t have their numbers. I spoke to another Mattress Firm rep just to make sure that he wasn’t lying. I found out that you can get a hold of the drivers and that they can see where I was on the delivery list. He had told me that I was one to two of the last stops. I was actually the first stop on the list. So, I went another two days without the mattress since I got rid of my mattress the day that I was supposed to have it delivered so I wound up having to sleep on the floor for the next two days after that. It was frustrating because of the fact that I did say I could pick it up. And the other Mattress Firm rep that I did talk to said, “Well, I don’t understand why they pushed so hard for the delivery if you had a truck to pick it up.” Which, I said it multiple times.
Brad, the other guy at the Mattress Firm store was very helpful. I actually wound up switching out my box spring and he was able to do that. He did the delivery for free for me and really helped me out with that. He did take care of me and everything went well with that setup. I was a little upset with the whole Gorby situation, but I got the mattress so I’m not upset about it now. It was good and I’d definitely go there again and get something else.

I really wanted a good experience. I was excited to get a new bed. The one in the store was so comfortable that I almost fell asleep. The one that arrived I set up myself because apparently there is a fee if they bring it in the house. I set up bed and cried. It was hotel hard. I had to sleep on my couch. I called at 5:45 am and no return call. I am surfing instructor for San Diego's Naval Hospital and a kindergarten volunteer physical education teacher; I really just want to sleep on a soft mattress. I went in after the morning session and the customer service representative suggested I could jump up and down on it for two weeks. That would get it to the preferred softness. She mentioned I have been told that... or I could buy one at Thrift store. If I return it I pay 79.00... where did the consumer concern go?

Mattress Firm had a no-credit option. The last place I tried to go to, they denied me. But the other place, I was able to work out a payment plan. I got a mattress and the sales reps were awesome. They helped me, were happy and had a great attitude. The delivery team loaded up the mattress for us and tied it down. The product has been good.

Mattress Firm’s sales rep was okay, but right now, I'm not happy with my experience. The mattress I bought is not as comfortable as it was in the store. We ordered the queen sized bed but the bed is not a queen size. It's more of a full-size. We had the tape on the mattress bed and by the measurements, it is a queen, but I don't believe that to be true. I wasn't satisfied with what I received. I probably would have used them again when we upgrade our living space but after this experience, I will not.

The representative did a good job with explaining everything and helped me without pressuring me into buying. Their selection was fairly good but I wasn't really impressed with how much they had in stock. It’s a small store and they had everything in the show room but they didn’t have anything in stock that I wanted to buy and would rather have brought home that night. They had to order it. But they offered quick delivery which was good. I’m satisfied with the service but disappointed with their stock on the end.

Mattress Firm was fantastic and they allowed me to try out many mattresses of different brands to find what I was looking for. Then I worked with a very nice person who helped me when I explained to her that my husband had a problem. We got some adjustable beds and I got to try both mattresses that we both liked. We got two adjustable mattresses with two adjustable bed frames. They delivered on time and helped us set it up. They also gave us a good time to test them out, though we didn't really need it. We gave them something extra because it's hard to bring mattresses in and out and able to fix the situation within half hour. Everything was sliding up to the wall, so we needed to put some sort of formation underneath the mattress, so it would not slip. They were cooperative. They're fantastic. We can sleep, and I would recommend them to anybody that wants to get another mattress.

I was looking for a Tempur-Pedic or a Sleep Number, and then the guy in the store sold me on a Serta iComfort mattress and the frame. The sales rep was very helpful, but I don’t like the mattress. Also, I was upset with the delivery team because I paid a lot of money for this mattress and the guy dragged my mattress on the ground from outside, then into the room in the house. I caught him and told him not to drag my stuff and he’s got an attitude. The experience in the store was great but the delivery was terrible.

We’ve had Mattress Firm products for 10 years and recently, we got a bed that includes a base and a mattress. Their salesman had a good personality and he looked like he was working with us. So far, our experience has been okay and we have 30 days to make up our mind on the bed. The only thing that I don't like so much is that when I sit on the bed, it seems to sag a little bit. We bought two mattresses from Mattress Firm, but from different locations, one for myself and one for my kids. First, I bought a queen-size mattress. And the second one, I bought a full size. Their sales reps were very nice. They worked with us to get the one that we like. They delivered it to my home but charged me for it. The delivery guys did a good job. We had a pretty good experience except for when I bought the queen size mattress. I got the mattress and the boxspring, but because I don’t need the boxspring I have to return it and they told me that I got the box for free. So, though if I have to return it, I couldn’t get a payment back. But they gave me the free delivery. I’m just wondering why nobody told me that I was getting it for free. I thought I paid for both. That’s one thing which was not very clear. But other than that, my experience with Mattress Firm has been pretty good.

Mattress Firm had a mattress that I liked. The mattress is great and it's the best one for me and my wife. Everything went great with their sales rep except writing my address down incorrectly. The delivery driver had trouble getting to my house so they called me to ask what my physical address was and they were able to meet their window time. I’m going to try with them again.

My first experience with Mattress Firm was okay. I purchased in Bloomington, Illinois and I had a condo in Florida. They were going to deliver from the Florida warehouse and that went smoothly. But I've also had two bad experiences with them. Back in April, I purchased a mattress for my daughter for her new apartment in Nashville, Tennessee and paid for it in Bloomington. It was going to be delivered out of the Nashville warehouse. It's a gated community and I gave Mattress Firm specific instructions that they had to stop by the apartment complex leasing office and they had to get back to the apartment. The leasing office was going to let them in because there was nothing in the apartment. I had called three times that week making sure that this was all in order. My daughter and I were driving to Nashville and it was supposed to be delivered. We got to the apartment at 9:30 that night but there was no mattress. We had a thing on the door that said we weren't there.
Then I have another daughter that moved to Iowa City in July and I also bought her a mattress. They were going to deliver out of the Iowa City store. I got to Iowa City that night and was there on Fourth of July weekend. They said they were going to be there between 4:00 and 7:00. We were at the premises but no mattress showed up and there was no phone call. We waited till 8:00. I have been calling the Bloomington store all day long but we never got it, so again we had nothing to sleep on that night. But the Iowa City store was nice enough. They sent an employee of their own the next day in his pick-up truck to go get it in a warehouse so that we had a mattress the next day. Hats off to the Iowa City store because they fixed the problem and it wasn't even their problem.
My third daughter lives in Houston, Texas and the mattress was supposed to be delivered this week. But because of the hurricane, she couldn't get into her new apartment so I canceled. I'm hoping that we will end up with a mattress the day we need it from the Houston store. I've already paid for it in Bloomington about a month ago, and I'm hoping I don't have the same issue that I had.
So in the last six months, I've been extremely dissatisfied. The service was awful. I called our Bloomington store and they claimed they called my home phone in Bloomington, Illinois. It wasn't even my cell phone. I did all my homework and I paid and was promised a bed. The reps were helpful, but somebody didn't do their part on their end.

The sales reps really knew their stuff and I had a very good experience with them. I told them what I wanted and they sent me to the right location. Then I showed up with a truck to pick up my orders and the salesman helped bring these out. The products I received were exactly what I expected. They were of good quality and I haven't had an issue with them. On the whole, Bath Fitter had good customer service.

I had used Mattress Firm before and buying there again was the easiest for me. The sales rep Melanie went above and beyond, and she was the best. I bought a full-size mattress for my dad, which was actually a huge one because we had to put him into assisted living. But when we went to pick up the mattress, the store was closed and it should’ve been open. I guess nobody was scheduled to open so I got a hold of somebody in another store. They closed their store to run over to open the store that we were at. It was a good experience overall. My dad loves the bed and I recommend Mattress Firm.

I was in the market for a new bed because I moved out and my old bed was terrible. So I went online and was going to go with either Casper or Purple. I went back and forth trying to feel which one was better. While driving down the street, I realized that I will be buying a bed for $1,000 but I have no idea what it feels like. Then I looked up and to my left was Mattress Firm. So I went in and told the guy my price point and what my back is like and what I wanted to sleep on.
He was incredible. I was in there with him for an hour, and we just went back and forth. I chose the iDream and it got delivered on the same day I bought it. I was in the store at 2:00 and they were at the house before 7:00. The delivery crew was fantastic. They even took my old mattress away. In general, the bed has been great. It took me a little bit to get used to its firmness and how it gets to your body, but I love it. I highly recommended Mattress Firm.

The Mattress Firm store was right up the road from my house so I'm familiar with them. Their price was good which was what made me purchase from them. The salesperson was nice, and he was knowledgeable about their products and warranties. I bought the mattress and box spring, which were delivered on time the next day. I got a defective mattress from Mattress Firm. I told the manager about it and he said I can return it and they'd give me a full refund. But I had to wait until my salesperson came back to work as the salesperson was out that day. After a couple of days, I called back and the salesperson told me I cannot return the mattress. I told her that I’ve talked to the manager and he said okay. But then the manager said no and the salesperson said I cannot return it until the 30 days was over. I understand that the 30-day policy is for the customers to really try the mattress out first and get adjusted to it.
I took a picture of it and it clearly showed about two inches of concave. This was in the first few days. So I went back to the store and talked to the manager, but he insisted that I cannot return it. I have to keep it for 30 days. I said I wanted the mattress out of my house right away and that I wanted a refund. It was a deceit because the mattress looked like it was a used one. I think what this store is doing is they make the customer try it out for 30 days then when the customer returns it, they just take it in and send it to another customer. I lost confidence in buying anything from Mattress Firm. I will not recommend anybody to buy a mattress there.

It was my first time going in Mattress Firm and the guy was so helpful. I got the mattress box spring. Their customer service is really great and the representative was wonderful and made everything easy. When I got it all set up then the mattress sagged and the box springs squeaked so Mattress Firm replaced it for me which was unbelievable because I didn't realize it at the time but our clearance mattress which is void of the five-year agreement warranty. But they have stood up and got me a replacement and I wanted it. It's the same bed but totally different. The box spring doesn't squeak and the mattress isn't saggy so it was great. The team delivered the second time and they were great in and out however the first delivery was not so great.

The sales reps at Mattress Firm had a great personality. They were not pushy, they took their time and let me try the mattress out. They were very positive into negotiation in trying to find the one I want at a price that I want. I bought one mattress for my wife and me and another one for my daughter. However, we ended up being very unhappy with the mattress that I bought for my wife and me. It gave us extreme back problems so we went back to them. We had 120 nights to return the mattress and we literally went on the 120th day. The dude pulled up, he remembered us and told us he'd find us a different one. He made that the easiest transition ever. We've swapped off to another mattress which we've been on for about a month and a half and it has been working well. Overall, the sales rep was excellent and I appreciated his experience and time. I'd definitely deal with them again.

Mattress Firm is close by and I purchased all my mattresses from them. I like their customer service. The young lady helped us when we went in and said that we had some issues with our mattresses, and she gave us a 1-800 number. Their customer service is usually how we like them to take care of their customers. And also, the products there are really good. We sleep better with the mattresses we got from them. The delivery process was great. They called on time and made sure that we knew when they were coming. They also sent an email after seeing that it was delivered and that everything went out fine.

Purchasing from Mattress Firm was crazy. We ordered the mattress online and we took screenshots while we were ordering because we didn't have anything. They didn't even email us of any transaction detail. Also, the mattress was going to be delivered that night but someone called an automated system saying that it will be delivered the next day. And when it was delivered, no one was here and the Mattress Firm reps went back with it.
So I called them, which took 30 minutes, and they gave me the number that they called. When I asked where they got that from, they said the number was from the online chat. But I have the screenshot of the online thing and the number we surely gave was my number and not any other number. In the end, we had to reorder the mattress because they said they had the wrong number. Then, when I asked if they could deliver the mattress that day, they said that everyone’s out already and it cannot be delivered again until the next day. So instead of getting it that day, we got it two days after.
The experience was so bad that we almost didn't go through with the purchase. However, Mattress Firm was the only company that's online, so we had to do it with them. But if I was going to choose again, I'll just go to the stores and not do it online. Mattress Firm’s reps also never apologized and were quite rude on the phone. It's not our fault that they had the wrong number to call and someone would have been at home if they called the right number.

I got some back issues, we've looked at several places, and then we decided to try Mattress Firm. Their reps were very helpful. I got the frame and the king-size bed with the lift but we returned it because I still couldn't sleep, plus the mattress was damaged. I picked it up without any problems but it had a tear in it when it was delivered. So, they picked it up and brought us another one, and it's been good. We now have a queen-size bed but it's not working for me yet and I still have not gotten to sleep in it. Nonetheless, it’s very soft and comfortable.

I considered the price when I purchased from Mattress Firm. We went all out and got a king size mattress with the bed topper and the frame, the box spring and got the whole smash. There's everything to fly around the room. The representatives had been great except for the girl who had no sense of humor. The delivery guys were super, they put their little booties on and they put out that little red carpet, didn't scratch anything and took all of the old stuff away that we didn't want. Couldn't have been better. I told everybody and my brother, "If you need a mattress, I got a guy from Mattress. They gave us what I think was a super deal. We're very happy."

I had gotten a Tempur-Pedic from Mattress Firm but I took it back. It wasn't that comfortable so I got a pillow top mattress and I like it a lot. It is wonderful and very comfortable. I was recently affected by a fire on May the second of this year. The company, my renter's insurance, Safeco Insurance, decided to go through Mattress Firm. We got a twin mattress and box spring and a queen mattress and box spring. The mattresses are very comfortable. We've had it since mid-July. I still have a lot of anxiety going on from the fire, but when I do get sleep, it's just the best sleep in the world and my son gets better sleep than me. We have no complaints.

I got the mattress, box spring, six pillows and a silk top like a cooling thing from Mattress Firm. They were all good. However, there was something they forgot to put on when I bought it there. They called me when I left and the guy said he was just going to do the charge and send the receipt with the one who will bring the mattress. I asked the guy who brought the mattress about the receipt and he told me that the other guy was going to mail it but I never got the receipt. But besides that, everything was perfect. I bought two mattresses from Mattress Firm. I had a big problem with the first one, a single box spring mattress with the frame for my grandson, because they told me they were going to deliver it and then they kept giving me the runaround two days before we got it. They told us it was going to be delivered on a Saturday. We waited, and waited, but they never came. Come to find out they delivered it to the store in Branford where they sold the mattresses from instead of bringing it to our house. I was pissed because we had moved everything out, and we were waiting for the mattress. That put my grandson out because he had no place to sleep because we needed the mattress. Also, it was like I was rushed by the sales rep. But they did what they had to do to make me satisfied.
We bought a king size mattress the second time since our full size bed wasn't big enough for us. We have two dogs and they also had to sleep on the bed. I was willing to give Mattress Firm the second chance after the first bad experience I had with them. I said I'm going to go with John and hopefully it will be good. I was hesitating to go back, but then I said, "Everybody should loosen up once in a while, so let's see what happens." I was going to cancel if they didn't deliver the mattress when they said the second time it was going to be delivered. But they were right on the ball on the second mattress. The service was excellent and everything was done perfectly. Whoever spent time and explained everything to us when we went and bought the mattress was good. He took his time and did the job right. It's good to buy from Mattress Firm because they corrected it when they messed up the first time. That shows me that they take pride in what they do.

I was moving and needed a queen size mattress quick and since Mattress Firm was right around the corner from me, I went in. When I was there, there was a mattress at $199 and it wasn't good at all. There's another one for $300 and the sales rep said it's the one that most people buy and that it's a good mattress. I sat on it but it wasn't comfortable. The prop that they put on it was terrible. Then I paid $500 for a mattress that I thought would be comfortable. It is thick enough to fit on the platform bed which was perfect. The top worked out good, but the mattress is awful and I hate it.
I wish I didn't buy the mattress and I should have gone to Macy's. They had a huge sale and I would have gotten a better mattress. Other than that, everything else was all right. The sales rep that sold the mattress to me was very nice. He waived the charges because I live right around the corner for it to be delivered and the delivery was perfect. $500 for the mattress alone was a pretty good price. Overall, the employees are great but not their product.

We went into Sleep Train before they became Mattress Firm and it's the selection and the person I was working with that made me return. This time, we bought a mattress, a box spring, and an adjustable base with mattress. What we bought is not exactly a European king, but it comes with two box springs, and one of them came damaged. They replaced it, but when the second one was delivered, the delivery guy destroyed it. So we had to get a third one delivered and that was a headache of headaches. The delivery people were horrible.
The first time, it was actually damaged before they even brought it in but they didn’t see it. I told the delivery guys about it and they contacted the warehouse. I just needed to schedule an appointment. When the second guys made the delivery, they weren’t even looking and they just dropped it. One of the plastic guards was dented and the bottom of the mattress was torn. I got a feeling it was done while they were either carrying it or when they dropped it. But they just left and nobody said anything. When I came in, I thought it didn't look right. There were pieces sticking out, a piece that is dented, and a piece that's hanging.
I called and spoke to manager Mike at a different store because I couldn’t get a hold of my salesperson. She was being moved around and she was on vacation. A rescheduling was done but the wind was blowing, plus it was getting late and we had to leave. They usually arrive towards the beginning of the time frame and the guy called me up and said he was at the door. It was a Friday and I wasn't far. I asked him if he could wait 20 minutes and he said no. I told him that was okay, "Take your mattress and goodbye." Then I had to call again to reschedule yet again.
The last guys who came in and delivered were very attentive. They knew what was going on originally with all the damage. So they came in, opened it up, looked it over and made sure everything was the way it was supposed to be. There was no hole or tear. Then they carefully put it in so I appreciated that. Before that it was like, "Here's your stuff. Let's move on."
The interaction with the delivery company was horrible, but with the store post the sale was decent. The manager at the store was the one point man in this whole thing. In fact, he wanted me to contact him. If anything went wrong I'll just give him a call, which I did. He got on the phone, verified and set up appointments. He gave me callbacks very promptly when I couldn’t get a hold of him for a couple days. But, overall, this was the first time when I've had a fiasco like this with Mattress Firm. Plus other than damage, the quality of the products is good so far.

Mattress Firm was the closest mattress store to my house. I bought a mattress from them and the three sales rep who I had an experience with were all nice. The delivery team did the job in 29 minutes. I got a really good mattress and the price was reasonable, but one can buy a better mattress for 50% cheaper. I paid $6,500 for my mattress, and I found a store that would sell me a mattress of comparable goodness and a base of a considerable goodness for about $3,500. That’s a $3,000 difference.
I went online and talked to somebody on a chat line. I said, “Well, give me an opinion. What would you consider to be a comparable mattress?” And I had the name of the mattress and the base, the store, and the price. “So wouldn’t I be able to get $3,000 back from this people?” She said, “I can’t tell you that. You have to go back to the salesman at the store.” I said, “Well, I’m afraid I don’t want to do that. I’d like to get a respective opinion before I go back and talk to the exact same person.” She said, “Well, I can’t do that.” I said, “Well, I’m going to insist on somebody telling me so I don’t get the same story from somebody that’s the exact same salesperson.” She said, “I’ll get you hold of the manager.” And I said okay. And then so said, “We’ll get back to you in two days.”
It's kind of weird that they weren't able to let me know because everybody was at work that day. Why couldn’t I talk to them? And so I insisted them to come and get a hold of me, and they did. A manager called me and he was a nice guy. We talked a little bit and he denied that the mattress that I was trying to compare their mattress to was not the same mattress. He also denied that the mattress adjustable base was not the same. And he said, “Well, we’re not going to sit here and spend all day worrying about it. What would you do to settle for it?” I said, “I’ll settle for $1,000 back.” He said, “You’ll see the trouble of having to do the investigation, of having to bring you the paperwork in proving that.” And I agreed. I didn’t want to spend all my life playing this game of who’s got the best mattress.
I went back to the store and saw another lady who was working there. She was the manager. She tried to make the settlement work, but the computer system was down. It was a Sunday, she said, “Come back Thursday and talk to the other fellow that works here. I’m not going to be here. I can’t figure out how this works." So that’s Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – four days later. I have to wait four more days to get an opinion. Later on that afternoon, I got an email out of nowhere saying that it got done. So I got $1,000 back. I probably should have gotten $2,000 back, but that’s due to some obscurities with their policy of them matching plus 10%. I would’ve been happier had I been able to find out through the web what the real answer to that question was before I went back to the store.

I bought an adjustable base and also a Serta mattress. The sales representative was fine, very informative and nice. When I didn’t get accepted for the amount that I was purchasing he went out of his way to try to get me accepted through another way to get the adjusted product I wanted. However, I decided I wanted to return my mattress because I needed something firmer. Also, over $1500 for the mattress was not worth it. I’m going to try to look for a something cheaper. But the rep told me that, unfortunately, I couldn’t return the bed but I can exchange it for anything else. And he said, “Just look around and then call me.” I have no other option but to continue to stay with them. So I'm no longer pleased because I felt misled.

He uses the product too, so he made recommendations. I ended up getting two sets of mattresses. One was a Tempur-Pedic. I had a very good experience with the delivery, however, the Tempur-Pedic that came was a floor sample and it had a stain on it. But that problem was handled and the mattress got exchanged.

Mattress Firm was close to my house and their advertising always seems cool. I purchased a mattress from them. Their sales representatives were polite and very nice. But I ended up returning the product and doing a dispute with my credit card company because they sold me a mattress that's supposed to be in stock. And it turns out they didn't have it in stock. I also had to call multiple times to get any updates because they didn't even bother calling me.
I waited close to 25 days. They told me they can get me a different mattress because the other one ran out. And then whenever they get the other one back in stock, we can swap it out. It sounds good but when I checked it out, the mattress was definitely not what I originally wanted. I showed back in two weeks and another guy there told me that they really don't know when they're going to have it back in stock. So I got upset because I thought they were just giving me the run-around so they can get their sale. I even showed up with the mattress but they told me they couldn't take possession of it and that somebody from the warehouse had to pick it up.
So they picked up and then I got mad when they tried to charge me a stocking fee after everything I went through. I spent almost $600 on something and then they want to charge me to take it back and it wasn't even what I wanted. And on top of that, they kept giving me the run-around on what I originally wanted. They told me they were going to give me a partial refund. I'm losing like $100 because of it so I started a dispute with my credit card company. It was a disappointing experience.

I looked at several places and Mattress Firm had a big selection. I needed a bed in a hurry and the other places I looked at, their delivery will take a week or two and I couldn't wait that long. Mattress Firm was able to deliver within a day or two. I got the whole bed that included the mattress, box spring and steel frame. They got one of those frames that are off the flooring and can move that they call enhanced frames of some type. I also got a pillow from them.
The sales rep was very good and did a nice job. He showed me different possibilities and he responded to what I said were my needs and my questions. He explained to me when I talked about other places I had looked at and the differences between Mattress Firm and how the other places are operating. The team delivered the mattress and they did well with it. It's a good mattress. It's been three or four weeks now and it's taking me a little getting used to it. I had a very old bed before that I had for many years so it's been a little adjustment. I had competent help and I was happy with it.

We live in New York City and we have a place in Telluride, Colorado, where it seemed like Mattress Firm was the best place to go. The sales rep was a great guy. He was very friendly and helpful, not pushy but very knowledgeable and professional. I got a king size mattress and box spring, and it's an improvement that's given a more comfortable sleep. The only problem was they delivered the wrong box spring, so we had to wait a few days for them to come back and fix it. It was a bit of an inconvenience but it was well managed and we were able to use the mattress with the wrong box while we were waiting. They didn't get offensive, they just said, "You're right. This is wrong, we'll fix it." It took them a little while because of the long trip for them to drive to drop off the box spring 'cause we're in Telluride, but they did fine. That was an example where they could have screwed things up and they fixed it. It was a comfortable experience.

The moment we walked in the door, he was taking a personal call on his cellphone with his feet up on the desk like we were coming into his home. All he did was glance up at us and rolled his eyes as we walked into the store. Keep in mind we never met this man formerly. We were testing out different mattresses without any assistance for a good 15 minutes before another gentleman named Alan ** came over to help us. This man was very pleasant, and was clearly stressed out by the so-called "manager" ordering him around like he was his slave.
After a few words, the manager (Eric) finally decided to end his personal call and approach my family and I with a HUGE attitude. Our entire experience with him was cringe worthy to say the least. This man had a cold and was coughing and sneezing on every piece of object in front of him. I have never even seen a child partake in behavior such as this, and being a representative of one of the Mattress Firm chains is even worse. The other two associates, Lisa and Alan, were clearly disgusted by his behavior as well, since they offered to sanitize everything this man was touching before we continued our conversation. We finally paid for our delivery of our Serta Comfort Plush mattress, along with paying for our pillows and a few other commodities that the sales associate Lisa sold to us to pick up at a later date.
Fast forward a few days later, I received a phone call by the associate named "Lisa" that our pillows were available for pickup at the store. We decided to change our schedule last minute so we could pick up our pillows. We walk into the store, and Lisa greeted us and provided us with an incredible experience, just like any representative of a major company should be partaking in. She had our pillows waiting to be picked up on the floor, but she showed us a few more mattresses that my son would have potentially enjoyed, while also offering us a special covering that our mattress would be lovely to have for our future experience. As Lisa sat at the desk to begin our check out process, I noticed she began to get a bit frustrated because the manager Eric ** was incorrectly marking all of the products she was trying to enter into the system. If this man is actually a manager, he should be fired completely in my opinion.
Not only was he blatantly rude in his behavior and clearly does not care about his job; he was also unsanitary and disgusting to say the least. Not only did the manager mismark the codes on many of the products Lisa was attempting to sell to me, Eric also mismarked my order a few days prior and scheduled my $300.00 pillows that were sitting on the floor of the store to be delivered with my mattress without my consent. In my honest opinion, this manager named Eric should be reprimanded and fired from his position. Lisa ** or any other associate in this store would have been an excellent candidate for this man’s position.

Mattress Firm's location was convenient for me and the young man that helped me was very nice. Their products are great. I bought a queen mattress a couple of years ago for my son, then I got another queen mattress for myself which I really like. I also bought two twin Tempur-Pedic and non Tempur-Pedic type mattresses for my kids. I got four box-springs, too and once I bought a pillow. Everything was as expected.

We needed some mattress and box springs. Mattress Firm has several outlets in our area that we thought they must be doing something right if they have more than one place location here. So, we stopped by to see what they had. The sales rep was good and honest. He wasn’t pushy too. Sometimes, a person will want to sell expensive things so they can have more profit, but the rep steered us towards something more economical. We purchased a Stearns and Foster floor model that Mattress Firm was going to be phasing out. It is a mattress in a box type and has an electronic base that could adjust the legs and head position of the mattress.
The delivery went ok. The gentlemen were very professional, respectful, and quick. But there were a couple things that occurred which threw them for a loop a little. Number one is we had a bed frame with a very large headboard and footboard. For some reason, when they tried to install the Queen sized mattress and the box spring, the box spring was two inches too long. Therefore, they could not install it. They were kind enough to put it in another room and we slept on that until we could figure how to adjust our expensive headboard and footboard arrangement so that we could fit the box spring.
I don't fault Mattress Firm for it, though, because it was an unusual bed frame that was made in China about 20 years ago. Queen bed standard sizes may have changed a little. We had to buy a metal frame, extensions, and hooks in order to make it work. And that was a stressful process. I guess that issue doesn’t happen that very often, but the delivery guys should have provided us some advice on what we should have done in order to make the mattress work. They could also offer some suggestions such as give the customer Mattress Firm’s phone number to contact. Another thing was that while the installers were moving the box spring, one of its little plastic shields on the corner had popped off and they just stapled it. So, it’s flapping in the breeze. If something like that happens, they should do something about it. We like the products though. They're all very comfortable.

I went and purchased a $2000.00 mattress from the company and I set it up for delivery that Sunday. The sales associate was extremely nice and really went above and beyond to make me happy. I have no issues with the sales associate. The Saturday before the mattress was to be delivered I received a call that the mattress wasn't in and they needed to reschedule. I felt I was extremely understanding and really needed a mattress so I was willing to cancel a trip for a bachelorette party to get my mattress (I really needed a mattress). I scheduled the delivery for the next Saturday.
The Friday before the delivery (and the day I was supposed to get on a flight) I received a call explaining the mattress was not in and they would need to reschedule. I was then angry, telling the guy I had cancelled a trip to get the mattress and they will call me the night before and tell me they need to reschedule because it's not their fault the mattress did not come in. I wanted something else, he threw in free delivery. I was ok with this. I was still super mad, but I knew there was nothing more I could do. I kept getting an email asking how they did. I was waiting to respond because I didn't have my mattress, but I was mad, so I wrote not the best review. I get an email later saying they want to make it right so they will call me. I wrote in the email the best time to reach me is after 4 pm.
The next day I did get a call from the company. The guy called at lunch and told me after 4 my time does not work for him so he was trying to get me at lunch. He tells me he called the warehouse and they have my mattress and it will be delivered. I asked, "Why should I believe you when I have already been told this twice before?" I did explain I actually cancelled a trip and they act like I am the inconvenience. The guy said there is nothing he can do. I just have to wait. He told me that getting free delivery was all that he could do. I again reminded him that I cancelled a trip and the company could care less. He said he cared and that is why he was calling. I said, "But you are doing nothing to make me believe you care." He said I need to wait for the company.
I then asked if I am just supposed to have my life revolve around the company, he said no, but if I want a mattress then I need to be understanding and I will have to wait and be available when the mattress is available. This made me angry. I asked him to take off the $200.00 box spring, because I am not happy and he is treating me like he doesn't care. He tells me that he is not willing to do it, because "it will mess up the sale associate's commission." I was then questioning why he is willing to do what he can to keep the associate happy but not care that I spent $2000.00 and I should also be happy. He told me there is nothing he is willing to do.
I then just cancelled my whole order. I was very confused on why he called me just to do nothing to make me happy and just made me much angrier with the company. I haven't received my money back but the company is located in Houston and they have much bigger issues. I do think there will be no issues with getting the money back. I have gone to another mattress company and I was able to get the exact same mattress I had purchased at Mattress Firm for the exact same amount and they also threw in free delivery and they have actually already delivered the new mattress. I will never buy from Mattress Firm and I will never recommend them. Before you purchase from them remember that you can find probably the same mattress at the same price, but for a company that actually cares and appreciates you as a customer.

We recently bought a high end memory foam gel queen mattress from a store and was promised by the manager while making all payments that the mattress delivery personnel will deliver a bed frame (we paid for it) and help us switch the old mattress (again we paid for the services). I am 36 weeks pregnant and had old in laws receiving the delivery, hence I requested the service. On the day of the delivery the mattress people did not bring the bed frame and dumped our other mattress in the guest room, promising they will do when they return with bed frame, which again required a phone call to the store.
The next day when they returned they put the bed frame and refused to do the other services, saying it's not part of the contract, and made our very old in laws to move the head boards and frames everywhere around the house. More over the screws they placed were incorrectly placed and we had to undo all of it all over again. I am absolutely appalled by all of this esp considering I had a extremely pleasurable experience from other mattress store delivering a very similar mattress and their delivery guys doing a fantastic and customer friendly experience. I will never use Mattress Firm again!

I recently moved down to Florida and needed a mattress. There was a Mattress Firm nearby so I went in and got a mattress and the adjustable frame. The sales representative was a very nice guy, knowledgeable and did me right. I got a mattress called Kelsie and it conforms to one's body but I'm not getting accustomed to it and I'm not sure it's something I'm going to be able to be comfortable with. I might return it and swap it for a different mattress. Also, the pricing is still high for me.

There were specials going on but it was fine. Then the delivery team set up the bed and showed me how to use it. My experience with Mattress Firm has been satisfactory.

I bought a regular mattress, and then we got a twin and a full mattress for bunk beds at Mattress Firm. Their sales rep was great. She was very helpful in narrowing down what we were looking for and then scheduled a home delivery. We had a great experience on the last mattress that we purchased from Mattress Firm so we bought from them again. We recently purchased a queen-size mattress and a bunkie board, and their sales rep was phenomenal. I bought a mattress and they don't not give you the best deal. I found that Mattress Firm and Progressive Leasing are the same. They are crooked, and don't tell you one price when you get the paperwork it's a another. I also had a problem with the mattress and had to pay for the inspection which is awful.

I was going to dinner a couple of doors down and I saw where Mattress Firm was. I decided to check them out and I'm so glad I did. Everybody was saying that I have to get Tempurpedic, but Mattress Firm does not carry it. I bought a queen sized Serta iComfort and it's adjustable for the head and leg part. It's wonderful and an absolute heaven. Also, the sales rep was such a doll that I brought my friend back in with me and she also bought the mattress bed.

I bought a Sleep Experts mattress and an adjustable frame and I sleep much better since I got it. I didn’t realize how big a difference the mattress made but it does. I don’t use the adjustable arm as often but I love the mattress. The first guy I dealt with was very nice but I felt he was just trying to sell me something. I had bought a king mattress at first, and then I wanted to exchange it within the window. When I went back to do it, I dealt with another guy and he was very helpful. He just let me do my own thing, was there to answer questions when I had them and provided a recommendation. I really enjoyed working with him. The delivery went well. They were mindful to cover their shoes when they came inside so as not to leave any scuff marks. They were quick and fast, and they took all their trash with them.
However, when they initially tried to deliver it, I must have walked to the mailbox or something, so I missed them but only by about five minutes. By that time, I tried to call the Sleep Experts to say, “Hey, I think I just missed them. Could you ask them to come back?” And then they say, "Well, there is no way for us to contact them while they're on route." That really didn't make sense to me. So we had to reschedule it for another day. If there’s a way that they could get the communication system better organized, that would be helpful.

We liked their price and the people who helped us at their store were knowledgeable and friendly. The first rep we interacted with was already helping another customer, so somebody else came over and helped us. We got the massager, an adjustable base, and a pillow. They didn't and they head back to storage. They reschedule the delivery, they came back without the box spring telling us they were here to build the box spring... Now I keep calling Mattress Firm EVERYDAY and they keep telling me that they will email the storage and contact me. I haven't been contacted any of those times.

The salespeople at Mattress Firm were excellent. Both George and the lady we spoke to were knowledgeable. I was embarrassed to go back three times but they took care of it. The first mattress I bought from them was $2,200 but that didn't work. I slept on that all right but my wife didn’t. So we got another one that's supposed to be a little firmer. Laying on it was okay, however, the bed has coils in it and it's supposed to have a cooling sensation thing that keeps the bed fairly cool, but that's not happening. They're cheating their customers.
I do my morning walk, then I stop and lay on the bed. For a half-hour on the bed, it feels cool but after that, it's hot like a normal bed. Cool should be enough to get the sweat off of me. And at $4,000, it's supposed to be cool, so something should be done with this mattress. Overall, I'm not completely happy with the mattress. I don't feel like it's leveled up to the hype that it has a cooling system in it.

My daughter spent $500 on a memory foam mattress in February 2017. In June she noticed a dark spot on the bottom of it. She called the store where she purchased, they laughed, asked her to send pictures, then said “We can't help you because you’re just outside your warranty.” Mind you, they failed to mention her 10 year warranty. So she sprays it with a combination of bleach and water and dries it in the Sun. Not any better, but bigger stain and wet. I called customer service, spoke to 3 people. The first one tells me the warranty was VOID because she sprayed it. What was she supposed to do?? Your laughing sales people were NO HELP. Then I get a higher up named Peter who said he would send us a 20% off coupon and have the store management team reach out to us within 48 hours. Guess what... didnt happen either. I will never shop this store again. Bad products and awful Customer Service.

It was cold the first few days, but after that, it seemed that the mattress was no different. I had it for about 40 days before returning it. The returning process was pretty easy though.

I liked Mattress Firm's financing availability. It's my very first purchase from them, and I got a California King Bed. The sales representative answered all my questions and responded to anything that I needed. He gave me updates and contacted me to see where I was in the process. He was very thorough and professional.
The bed is perfect. It was everything that I was expecting. The only thing was the delivery time. It was a little confusing. They gave me a time and then the next day they changed it and they ended up showing at my house two hours earlier. It’s not a problem. It’s great that it came earlier although a little more warning would have been nice. But I had a great experience and I would purchase again.

My wife and I purchased a Carolina mattress from a Sleepy's store a few yrs ago. The mattress company has unfortunately gone bankrupt and the store joined with Mattress Firm. We are not heavy people by any standard. I am 160 lbs and she 100. The firm mattress we purchased with hopes of helping with back injury pain has developed valleys on both sleeping areas. Only the center of the bed has maintained its shape and firmness. When she contacted store she was told we would only get a 300 dollar credit. At this point we are on a tight budget while I am awaiting back surgery and out of work. So it's a catch 22. I cannot get any relief or sleep nor am I able to return to work in the condition I am in. Is this how mattress firm treats veterans who have given their physical abilities to their country?

Mattress Firm's sales representative educated us on the materials and their overall product. She was really helpful, explained what’s new and asked us what kind of fit we wanted. She gave us a couple of selections that fit the parameters and we tried them. We were quoted four or five different beds on that day and we ended up selecting the queen bed within her recommendation. We got it delivered which was easy and it came in five minutes. The delivery crew put it together and it's up and running. I’m okay with it but my wife loves it. I would recommend Mattress Firm.

I had to replace my old mattress which was over a decade old and I wanted to get a bigger bed. I bought a Mattress Firm Serta king-size mattress because their location was closest to my home. The sales representative was great, patient while I tested out all the different product lines and very knowledgeable. And when the delivery guys set the mattress up, they were really quick and very professional. I have the mattress for over a month now and my sleep has definitely improved. Overall, I felt like people from Mattress Firm were consistent from purchase to the end of delivery. They showed up when they said they would. But I ended up spending $2,500 and the mattress could have been cheaper. I have no complaints though and it was worth the investment. It’s been over a month and I’m very pleased with it.

Kyle our salesman at the North Dale Mabry store sold us our new bed a week ago and it was delivered the next day on Sunday. Delivery guys set it up and were very business like. What a bed, my wife and I have never slept better. Visited Kyle again today to order another set of DreamFit sheets as the first set is very comfortable. We highly recommend Kyle and Mattress Firm as the product was explained well and performed as it was explained it would. Everything we were told as far as delivery was true down to the order placed with the manufacturer for the first set of sheets that was delivered in three days. Great service and wonderful products.

We had bought from Mattress Firm before in another state. More recently we bought two queen size mattresses and frames and I had an excellent experience. They were fantastic. The sales representative had floor models that were on sale and floor models that we wanted but wouldn't be in fast enough. He gave us a deal on another mattress in the warehouse that we got right away. Somebody came and set up the mattresses and they were courteous, quick, and clean. My parents purchased 2 sets of Serta Iseries mattresses from Sleepy's (for about $3000) and within 2 years, one mattress is sagging and one is warped/sloped. After purchasing the home inspection kit (a string with a washer on the end of it!) for $30 and then having to pay $40 more for someone to come out and look at them, Mattress Firm gave them a $495 store credit for one mattress and said the other wasn't sagging enough to be replaced (when, as stated, the problem wasn't sagging).
I spoke with Mattress Firm and one service rep offered to reopen the case if I sent new pictures of the damaged mattress. I sent them twice and received no follow up. I just called again and someone else asked me to resend the pictures and they would review it. I am frustrated at the amount of hoop-jumping required to make a claim on a mattress and the time wasted along with the cost of the so-called inspections as well as the lack of follow-up is a huge turnoff. I personally am on the market for two sets of mattresses and I can't say I'd recommend this company. Unfortunately, my parents no longer have the warranty paperwork anymore but I would advise anyone shopping at Mattress Firm to read the fine print b/c you don't get what you pay for.

I like Mattress Firm. My whole family buys from Mattress Firm which was then called Sleepy's. I purchased a mattress and box-spring on the 4th of July. I was supposed to get more special sale because of the holidays. It was supposed to be $762, then I changed the mattress to a pillow top and the guys raised me up some more money. I said, "Well, what happened? I'm supposed to get the sale?" But my daughter said, "Mommy, leave it alone because I paid $1,000 for my mattress when it was Sleepy's." I'm paying it. I received my bill today and I pay them monthly. I had it delivered and they were on time. I'm satisfied with everything. I will share with other friends that the mattress are guaranteed.

It’s my first time purchasing from Mattress Firm and I thought of going with them because of convenience and location. I bought the queen mattress and the box spring but I didn't get a bed frame because it wasn't offered. I learned that the customer has to ask for it and I didn’t enjoy having to go back and haggle with the salesman to get a bed frame. I also remember waiting an extra hour for the delivery team to show up. They couldn't even call to tell me they were going to be that much later. The products have been good but the service part of my experience with Mattress Firm has left a little bit of a taste to my mouth that I might try somewhere else.

Mattress Firm overpromised and underdelivered. We got a memory foam, split King with an adjustable base. The sales representative was very nice and attentive. However, I didn't like that he acted like he was doing us this big favor with a discounted pricing on the adjustable base. Somebody else came in and said something about it advertised or, "We heard that you guys are offering this whatever discount for adjustable base." And he said, “Oh, yeah. Absolutely.” So, it was something that was available to everybody. The rep also said if we ordered or if we got it before two o’clock, then we would be guaranteed delivery the next day. So we took time off, prepared the room, did everything, only to get a phone call saying that it’s not available. It was late when they called and there was nothing to do, no time to change everything. But I loved the delivery guys. They were the nicest, respectful people.

Purchased a mattress here due to our old one being a couple of years old and just starting to get a little uncomfortable. First thing me and my wife saw was Mattress Firm. They come out on the radio station I listen to all the time so I said, "What the heck. Let's see what they can do." Upon arrival everything is great. Obviously they want money from you. Found the perfect bed within 30 minutes, purchased it that same day 8/05/17. Bed would be delivered 08/06/17 which was great time. Upon purchase salesman was great, very helpful with everything. Upon arrival of mattress I had to hurry and leave due to a family emergency so I didn't have time to go with a white glove over mattress to ensure everything was perfect. 08/08/17 finally got to try out mattress.
Wife noticed that on her side the foam was coming out the side of the mattress. Called Mattress Firm. No answer. Phone disconnected. Called the "insurance" we paid for on 08/09/17, was told that I paid for a useless insurance since they don't cover my mattress. Called the next 08/10/17 day, spoke to someone different who told me she didn't even know why I was sold that warranty and she would email the district manager. A manager called me within 24 hours. He stated that he would email his manager and see what was going on. Today is 08/24/17 haven't heard from anybody regarding my problem. Call the store. No answer. Phone disconnected. Call their customer care line. Pretty much an endless circle. This is extremely frustrating given that I paid more than a thousand for this mattress. Terrible place to get a mattress.

Buyer beware, after spending 1899.00 on a Simmons mattress from Mattress Firm I was told my options of buying a kit from them for 24.95 to check it myself or setting up an appointment for a technician to come out to measure for the warranty for 39.95 which, by the way was never brought up by the salesman when discussing the warranty on product prior to purchase. At that point I reluctantly chose the inspection. The mattress is less than four years old and my wife and I are not large people and weigh less than 200 lbs each, and down the center of the bed when made up it looks like a camel's back from the sunken body impressions on both sides of the mattress just like so many on here have already complained about.
Unfortunately after discovering this site and reading all the reviews and find NOT one claim was approved under warranty I decided to cancel the inspection rather than give these crooks another 40.00. Now after nine days a three phone calls I am still awaiting my refund for the canceled inspection and It is one excuse after the other about communications through companies etc... etc. It is very strange however their ability to debit my account before the phone had a chance to cool off on the initial conversation. I will advise all my family and friends and whoever I run across in my travels that is thinking on a bedding purchase to never step foot in a Mattress Firm store nor will ANY Simmons product be found in my home ever again. BUYER BEWARE!

I needed a mattress and I went with Mattress Firm since I had bought from them once a few years ago. Everybody at Mattress Firm was super-dupity and they helped me and my wife a lot. They walked through it with us and told us about the price of their product. I got a mattress and a box spring, and the mattress is a little higher but after I got on top of it, it's perfect. I'm very satisfied with Mattress Firm's help and their product. I would tell my friends to go to them if they need a mattress.

We bought the iComfort Blue Touch bed at Mattress Firm more than a month ago. The Mattress Firm sales person was really great to work with. He was very accommodating, no pressure, showed us all the options, and he listened to what we were really looking for. We had the bed delivered and setup and the crew who did it were on time, quick and fantastic. The bed is very nice and we enjoy it.

I've purchased from Mattress Firm before while it was under a previous name and I chose to shop there again for their price and the convenience. The salespeople were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They made the experience very easy and, overall it was one of the most outstanding experiences I've had in terms of buying something like that. I got a mattress and a box spring and then I followed up with another box spring later on. The delivery crew was on time and courteous. They wore shoe covers when they came in the door and they set up the bed where I wanted it. Everything about my Mattress Firm experience was good.

I was satisfied with the original purchase from Mattress Firm that I had for 16 months and so I bought a new hybrid one. The sales representatives were very good. They were really helpful in helping me find the mattress I was looking for. I wasn't aware that they had a clearance option and what happened was I was looking for a particular mattress and the one that I liked was outside of my price range, so the sales representative let me know and I appreciate that they were really upfront about that.
Although I was completely satisfied with the delivery service, the coordination was a little tricky. I had a commitment at work so I didn’t know that when Mattress Firm made the pitch, they said they could have it delivered the same day and I said that I wasn't going be available within a certain time window. I work remotely and I was about to be involved in quite an important conference call and at the same time received a call saying that the mattress was going to be delivered, so I had to make phone calls since they delivered the mattress. That was stressful, but apart from that everything has been wonderful. They were really informative and they offered a really good deal.

I just bought a regular mattress from Mattress Firm about month and a half ago. I wanted a firm mattress but it was really firm and I was surprised by that. It's a little firmer than the one in the store. It took me some time getting used to and I ended up buying a pad to add fluffiness to it. Once I made some adjustments, it's been good. I had a positive experience with the sales staff, he able to explain the different products to me and he was not pushy at all. I had my mattress delivered at home and the delivery team came early and did a good job.

I bought twin beds and mattresses not too long ago from Mattress Firm on Clinton Highway in Knoxville, Tennessee. It was the first shop I went to and the sales rep was great and friendly. He also talked to me towards the end. I was happy and pleased with everything.

We came to one of your locations to purchase a new mattress. The sales person was kind and sold us what we asked for, or so we thought. When the mattress was delivered it was delivered in a bag that said "pre-owned". We immediately contacted the store that we made the purchase from and was treated with terrible customer service. We had not purchased a pre-owned mattress but was now told that we were informed at the time of the purchase. This simply is not the case. We spoke with several sales associates and then eventually the manager. The manager was extremely unkind and even rude. We were told by the manager that we could not return the mattress, even though it was still in the "pre-owned" bag and in the same location that it had been delivered in. The manager even went as far as to tell us that we could bring the mattress to the dumpster out back and put it there but that we would not get a refund.
Contacted the corporate office. While they were a little more professional, they were not very helpful either. We were informed that "pre-owned" means that the mattress was purchased by someone else, used the mattress and returned it within 120 days of purchase. The representative tried to offer us a new mattress if we paid an additional $500. We would never had purchased a used mattress in the first place, why would we want to give this company even more money after being lied to and treated poorly. This was a horrible experience and we are telling everyone that we know to NEVER shop at this establishment.

Received 1 statement in the mail, ONLY 1. Set up payments based on that and then when I logged in and checked on the account there were fees. Called Synchrony and they credited the fees and corrected the account to have statements sent. I readjusted the payments as they were not what was provided on the first statement. No further statements sent, logged on again and called to request mailing of monthly statements; NONE received. Logged in again and found retroactive interest in excess of $200. Tried to log in again but got locked out and no one would help me without my account number even after providing SSN and last time I went to the bathroom LOL. No statements to get the account number from to have them re-establish online connection. Why is it so hard for them to send statements for me to pay from?

My husband and I bought a mattress online, because it was convenient for us. We just moved to our new home and needed a bed to sleep on. It said it would arrive next day delivery, or 2-3 days red carpet delivery. This was last Tuesday (The 16th) we ordered it. It "supposedly" arrived at 11 AM on Monday (The 21st), when both of us were home. We stayed alert because we knew it was coming that day.
We received an email at 10:18AM saying it would arrive in 10 minutes! We never received a phone call. So we waited. Nothing. After an hour we decide to call customer service. After waiting almost 10 minutes to get a live person to talk to, the woman had said that the delivery guys tried to deliver it and "sent a picture of our door". We did not hear anything. No knock, no doorbell. Nothing. We asked if it could be re-delivered that day, and she said no. It was not even guaranteed that we could receive it the following day. There was no empathy and when we asked for a refund she said we had to wait for the gentleman to get back to the warehouse. This is so inconvenient, and it was never told we had to sign for the mattress, that they couldn't just drop it off. All we wanted was a mattress, that we already paid for... We will NEVER be doing business with them again. We will shop elsewhere, with people who want our service.
