My husband and I are handicapped. We laid away a Craftmatic adjustable bed as a anniversary present for ourselves in January of 2022. Paid it off in December 2023. The company called whenever we were late with a layaway payment. I was told my mattress would arrive first and the delivery dept would get in touch with me. I cannot reach anyone at the company. We are out of $5000.00 and the phones don't work. No stars for them!!! This once reputable company has literally ripped us off!!

I ordered 2 extra long twin beds, to make a king bed, on 5-30-2023. When I had not received a delivery by July I called and was informed the bed was on backorder. In August still no delivery. I called delivery and got a voice mail, left a message and call back number. No reply. I called again in September and October, still no reply. I called the personal number the salesperson gave me, that mail box was full and not taking any more messages in November. Tried again in December, still no luck with delivery or service or sales. This company took my money and left me hanging. I have since disputed the charge with my Credit Card Company. With luck I may get my money back. I am very disappointed in a company I did business with 20 years ago when I bought my first Craftmatic bed. The original organization, was a good one, this one is not.

Still have not got bed and they took my money, Keep delaying. Now they won’t answer the phone. I wait for an hour on the phone and it keeps telling me I am first in line. No one ever answers it. This company need to fined or something for what they are doing to people.

My son is a Paralyzed Veteran sleeping sitting up because the bed from Craftmatic Adjustable didn't get delivered since 9/18/2023. Today is October 5, 2023 and we don't get any answers about the delivery. The operator is very nasty and hangs up when we call. But they wanted a deposit the first time we call.

I bought it on May 13th, 2023. I was told I would have my bed in 4 weeks, it is now September 27th and no bed. I canceled my order in June, still no refund and I have called them a lot of times. I left messages every time and they still haven't called or gave me my money. I was born in Florida and I am very ashamed that I called it my home, I won't do it again. I am going to file with the Attorney General's office and see what they can do. I looked on their website and I am not the only person this is happening to, someone needs to help us, we are both in our 60's and thought this bed would help my husband to sleep in a bed and not in a recliner for over a year. Please help us and people like us. Just look at their reviews. Hope you can help.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Craftmatic has stolen $4,500 from my dead father and refuses to return this money to his widow, my 75-year old mother. My dad ordered the bed in February 2023, six weeks before he died. Over the next few weeks, Craftmatic scheduled four delivery dates. The first three they never showed. They at least called and cancelled the fourth one, claiming the base hadn’t come in so they couldn’t deliver it after all.
My dad died in March 2023, having never received the bed. (And needing it desperately those last few weeks!) I immediately called Craftmatic, navigating the maze of robo prompts, and dead ends, to finally get to a human being. I then attempted to cancel, but since my dad had ordered, they would only put it on hold until I could produce a death certificate. A few weeks later when I had the documentation in hand, I submitted everything they requested, per their instructions. Then, I heard nothing for several weeks.
At this point, I had managed to get the email address of the person I sent the certificate to, so I reached back out, hoping this would soon be resolved. I sent a total of six emails over about six weeks. She responded twice, but saying I needed the refund department, and someone would get back to me. They never did. And she never responded to my last couple of messages at all, just ghosted me. I tried to take it up with my bank, but too much time had passed and now I’m stuck trying to help my mother navigate small claims court if she has any hope of getting her money back. This is theft. Pure and simple. I have never thought worse of any company. Ever. Craftmatic steals from old people! And that’s about as shameful as it gets. So again – DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Buyer beware! My elderly father ordered an adjustable bed in July 2023. He paid the full amount of more than $3000. After 8 weeks, there is no idea as to when it might ship and if he might ever receive it. Initially he spoke with Pete who gave his personal cell number for future questions. He never answered his phone and didn’t return calls. He then spoke with Sheila who also gave her number. She assured the bed would shipped soon. On 8-21-2023, he asked me, his daughter, to call for a status as he has poor hearing and difficulty with the telephone. Sheila advised they had shipping problems but would email him and text me with further info. The following week, she told me they were expecting a shipment in their warehouse later that week. The bed would be shipped 9-4-2023. That was a holiday so I assumed it would sent the following day, 9-5-2023.
On 9-11-2023, I called Sheila again. She advised they never received their shipment until 9-5-2023. It was being sorted and bed would be shipped by 9-14 or 9-15. When I didn’t hear anything, I called Sheila again on 9-15-2023. She sent me a text stating their office was closed so she couldn’t check the computer. She assured me she would call me first thing Monday morning, 9-18-2023. I didn’t hear so I called her a little before 10 am. As usual, I had to leave a voice mail asking her to call. She responded by text. After I confirmed account number and my telephone number, she sent me another text stating she was waiting to hear from the warehouse. She mentioned they didn’t receive the shipment last Friday. (This was at 10:35 am.) This confused me as they had the bed last week, now they don’t!
After no response, I left her another message asking her to call me. I called 15 minutes later and left another message stating we were tired of excuses and the bed needed to be shipped today. Still no response so I left her another message asking her to call. This time she did call me back. When I explained I was frustrated and I was tired of the excuses. She indicated that she had only spoken to me one time, on 9-11 -2023. My father had instructed me to cancel the order which I expressed. At that point, she stated my father would need to call in to do so.
This company has very poor communication and customer service. They do not follow through. Now they cannot tell my father how long the refund may take…. He cannot get another bed until he has that money. He is elderly and needs the bed to help his back. He had a Craftmatic for nearly 30 years and it stopped working. He liked the product which was why he tried to ordered a new one. I would hate for any one else to go through this!

The customer service department is rude and refuses to own information in the purchase journey. We experienced multiple contacts throughout the organization that refused to help and refused to cancel or escalate the order concerns. There is NO personal responsibility to the customer. The worst experience of a purchase ever.

I talked to a sales agent, Randy, and he convinced me that there was only one bed left and to hold it I had to put down a refundable deposit of $500 while I talked to my wife about it and did the measurements to see if it would fit in my bedroom. I am fully disabled and a bed has to be right for me to use. It was too big so I called back 9 days later to get my monies back. It has now been 21 days since my request and I have not received my refund to have been given a callback. I have left at least 8 to 10 messages with no response. This is horrible Customer Service and would never recommend this company to anyone..

I filled out a form explaining in detail the bed I was interested in purchasing. About 2 to 3 minutes later I received a call from a gentleman stating that I had called Craftmatic bed. I did not I filled out an inquiry or information form. This person was very unconcerned and gave me a quote. I said thank you and hung up. Hours later another male called. I began to explain that I was not interested. This person became verbally rude insisting I called him. I didn't. I changed my mind. I can do this. Yet, again today that same rude person called again. I stated I was no longer interested. He hung up in my face. I am requesting my number be removed from your call list please. If this does not stop I will take further actions.

On March 10th I called to find out about a bed. The day after Ron called me back and said that the 50th anniversary beds that I was inquiring about were probably sold out. He said he would check and get back to me--he did and said that he had located one in my area and it could be delivered this week, he advised me that Ellen would be calling to confirm the payment ($3156.84) on Monday. She did and I thought it was handled. I found out that the address was incorrect through an email. I check my original order and my address was correct. I called the delivery dept and left a voice message--about the problem but never got a call back.
I called Ellen and she said everything had been straightened out. So, I waited for a person to call me to set up a delivery date--Nope, then I proceeded to call 20+ calls--waiting sometimes 15+ minutes--then the announcement said, "You have been kicked out from this conference--hung up! I finally talked with Sheila and she put a cancellation in on 4/11. As of 5/8 I have not been able to get in touch with Lydia (Finance) to get my money back. I tried to purchase a bed on April 4 2023. Salesman said if I could put $500 down he guaranteed I’d be approved. Here it is April 1st and still haven’t received refund. I understand getting turned down but a month to get refunded is crazy. Craftmatic customer service really bad. I hate I couldn’t give them negative stars. I guess I’ll have to get my local news to do a report on them so others don’t lose money.

I ordered a bed and adjustable bed frame for my 89 yr old Mom and we had to cancel the order and due to her hospitalization I have been waiting for over a month for a my refund, I have made several calls and get no response, I work in customer service and for this company to advertise that they are #1 in the whole world is a joke, I have repeatedly ask to speak with a manager or supervisor and left messages for this refund and get no response, I highly discourage anyone to order anything for this company, the next step is contacting a lawyer to get my $500 refund.

I placed an order with Craftmatic with my debit card for 3,614.00 February 25, 2023 and realising that the bed that I had ordered would not fit in my bedroom I called back and canceled the order the same day. On Monday February 27th the money was withdrawn from my account. Today is March 28, 2023 and the money has not been refunded. I have made repeated calls to Craftmatic and get the runaround. The person will say "I'll connect you with a certain party" and get white noise no answer. Or the person that I'm talking to will give me the same old story about the process that has to be done before I'm refunded. That it gets sent from department to department to department. The company was very quick to withdraw my money. Why so long to refund it. I have received no merchandise from them. This is a company of grifters that have robbed me of my money. I would recommend to anyone considerating a purchase with them to beware.

Don't use this company. Purchased a bed at the end of January 2023. Was going to ship in 7-10 days - it's been over 30 days and no bed. Can't get anyone to call us back - there is no customer service with this company. We did finally talked to the salesman today - and he was supposed to be getting us a refund. We will see.... Bad Bad Customer Service - I would never use this company.

After canceling order on same day 3 months later waiting for refund after contacting and requesting many times. They have not responded to credit card company either. Craftmatic won't confirm deposit return.

My dad purchased 2 new beds, long story short, my mom died and never even saw the bed. Beds were delivered Jan 11 2022, we called about a return around January 14, was told we couldn't start a return until after the 30 day trial. Called around Feb 14, and was offered to purchase a king mattress at an additional cost, but we didn't want that. We told them multiple times that we wanted to return one of the beds. Kept getting put off, and was again offered to purchase a king size mattress 2 more times. My dad has been trying to return a bed since January, we are now in June. Return fees are 700$. This is ridiculous!

I have had a Craftmatic bed for more than 20 years and was more than pleased with it. It is finally worn out, so am getting a new one (better one). If it is anything like what Randy told me I know I will enjoy it for the rest of my life. Randy was very helpful, very polite, friendlly and informative. I was already sold on craftmatic but he made it a sure thing! Thank you Randy and craftmatic.

I am quadriplegic. I made that clear with the salesman Ron. You assured me they would be no wires or obstructions under the bed because I require a Hoyer lift to get me in and out of bed. The Hoyer lift has to roll underneath the bed to do this. Once we got the bed delivered and set up it was like an octopus of wires under the bed. They did resolved the wire issue for me. I was leaning towards the one single Base with a queen size mattress. The salesman Ron kept pushing the split bed on me saying I'm defeating the purpose of getting one mattress. I was concerned with having split mattresses. Ron assured me that the side-by-side you won't notice the seam and it's just like being on one mattress but with the benefit of having your own adjustments. Well that couldn't be any further than the truth.
Truth is when my wife tries to roll me on my side I end up in between the mattresses. The bed started pushing apart I almost fell onto the floor. It's a safety issue. So then we had the frame zip tied together. So now when my wife Rolls me the mattresses Pulling apart. And as of now all they're willing to do is send out a queen size mattress with me paying for shipping but meanwhile I'm stuck with two separate bases, I would have just got the one base with the one mattress $2,700. So now I'm stuck with $3,900 Bill. Want to exchange the bed to single Base with a single mattress so we don't have to worry about me falling through. I either hanging off the side of the bed or I am stuck in the crack.
The sales guy Ron supposedly gave us his direct number in to call with questions and concerns. We've called him twice left messages. Both times no reply. Go figure. The sale's done. Obviously Craftmatic teaches their salespeople to lie just to make the sale. Knowing I'm quadriplegic he should have just recommended the one piece mattress in the one base and not pushing a more expensive one on me and taking advantage of me.

On March 29th, 2021 my Queen size adjustable bed and a mattress from Craftmatic.com was delivered. I paid more than $3K. I knew that a standard size should be 80x60 for a Queen bed and a mattress. However the bed is 58 inches in width and a mattress is 79x58. When I called them, they told this is the size should be, it is OK, in time it will become 60 inches width. This is totally not right and unacceptable. When I call now nobody is picking up at all. I don't know what to do. I spent so much money to enjoy my bed but I have only aggravations. Please help. Delivery people were rude when they arrived on January 23. They refused to take the old bed across the street to my vacant in-laws house. We had no room in our house and there was snow on the ground. I was so upset, it was only 30 feet farther from where they had parked their delivery truck. There was just no talking with them. They gave us no alternative but to refuse the shipment.

The worst company ever to deal with. They do not keep their word on anything and that is when you can talk to someone if your lucky. They have no problem taking your money but when things go wrong they never do what they say they are going to do. They give you the runaround. They blame everything on COVID-19 and phones aren’t working... even if you email them!! Stay away, go do your business with a company that stands by their product and their word. Nobody should have to wait 2 months for delivery and then no one shows up to set it up. Hired out for someone to set it up and they wouldn’t refund the whole amount. On top of that, they didn’t send the mattress I asked for and now they want to charge ME to exchange it. BUYER BEWARE. STAY AWAY from Craftmatic!!!

Boy I wish I would’ve read all these reviews first. I NEVER would’ve bought one. Like other reviews here slick talking salesman Peter sold us a bunch of lies. How quick we would get our bed. We purchased in Sept. Still don’t have it. Excuses from customer service, now excuses from the Allegro delivery company. “It’s always it will be shipped soon.” A lot of money spent, on what we thought was a reputable company. Oh and they are quick to have you sign the paperwork that excludes you from getting any kind of refund. Hopefully won’t have to utilize the warranty part, hate to think of how that will work out.???

Peter sold my dad a bed and it didn't arrive in the promised time, unfortunately my mom passed away before the bed arrived, and it was bought for her. CM refuses to give my dad a full refund even under the circumstances. This is very disheartening and very compassionate on their part.

We bought this bed and mattress to help mother be able to get in and move/position better in the bed. She loved it and was very comfortable laying down or resting in the up position. The mattress was firm but very comfortable, it was easy to clean also.

On June 8th we called Craftmatic as we were looking to buy a bed for us due to our back issues and were recommended by our doctor to look at craftmatic. We called the number listed online and got a sales rep by the name of Ron. He was very good at knowing his sales tactics to make a sale. We had queen bed in our home and were looking for a queen. He sold us two twins which I was not happy about, on the day of the sale he told us that we would receive the bed in two weeks as it was in stock, we also discussed how that bed would fit in our queen that we already have even let him know that the bed has slats and draws and he let us know that should not be an issue, we never received the bed till the 16th of July.
When the installers got here they let us know that they could not install the bed due to the draws and the slats, they told us to accept the delivery and I could complete the install, I am not that technically inclined and also with a bad back I could not even move the bed, I ended up asking my neighbor to help me dismantle the bed. After we did that, we called in to the delivery company Allegro and told them that we needed someone out to get the install completed. They told us that they will see if they can send a service technician to complete the install. This was on Thursday the 16th.
We had to call them several times and every time we called they told us the no service technician was picking up the ticket to come and get my install done, so Thursday passed by and no one came, Friday morning I called again. We were told that they are trying to get in touch with a technician to come out and complete this install to no avail. They could not find a service technician to do it on Friday, the weekend has passed by. Today we called and again were told by the delivery company most likely it may happen today as it is the beginning of the week. I let them know if this cant be done today they can call and send someone to pick up the bed as I am not interested in their services or the bed anymore.
I have called and talked to Craftmatic to ask to speak to my sales rep Ron. About 3 messages left. No call back from him either. On Friday I spoke to a manager of customer service (Shyana) who was very apologetic and said she would make sure that someone would be out Friday to complete the install. No call back and no one showed up either to do the install.
Right now I am at my wit's end. I just spoke to the delivery company and let them know they can come and pick up the bed and I would like a full refund on my dollars paid. He stated that he could not authorize this and did not know anyone at craftmatic who I could speak with. My advice to anyone looking to buy a craftmatic bed please don't waste your time and money on this business. Thanks.

I received a poor quality mattress upon purchase. The topper was wrinkled in the middle and caused discomfort in my back. I called and it was replaced. Now the replaced mattress is broken down in the middle causing severe back pain every morning. I called and left a message, but I still am waiting for a reply (one week of waiting). My replacement mattress is about two years old.

Complete utter failure for customer service. Went online and ordered adjustable bed and mattress what a big mistake. After 3 weeks of being on hold and calling every number I could find and sending emails I finally got to speak to a real live person who informed me that they could not find an order. Of course I had to furnish credit card info to place order. My credit card was charged the same day as the order so what happened to my order, who knows. To make a long story short I had to get credit card company involved to get the charge removed. Would not recommend this company for anything.

I ordered a bed in April, 2020, I still haven’t received my bed. When I ordered I was told it would be delivered within 2-3 weeks. It’s June, 2020, still no bed. My husband and I made several phone calls to the company always being told someone would call us back, no one ever did. When we talked to anyone at this company they told us so many lies that they kept tripping themselves up, forgetting that they just told us opposite of what they just said. Example, my husband called wanting a refund, they told him we only do refunds on Friday, he said today is Friday, they tell him the one who issues refunds isn’t here today, she’s been really busy this whole week issuing refunds to other people, wait, I thought you just said refunds are only issued on Friday?!!
When you try to explain to them what you have already been told, they totally over talk you, so not professional at all. Not to mention how rude they all are. I wish I had known how this company operates, I would never have wasted my time with them. All I want now is a full refund. They should have never charged the credit card we used to pay with until our bed was on the truck heading to our house for delivery!!!

The bed is great. Especially good if you or your significant other have any health issues. For back sufferers or breathing issues this bed is perfect. The mattress has two sides as an option. Firm or not so firm.
