Worst customer service EVER! I will not use Uber Eats or Uber due to the worst customer service experience I’ve ever received with multiple uber eats representatives. Three different chat reps said they couldn’t help me and abruptly ended chat. Finally got a person on the phone and they were not at all helpful.

DO NOT USE UBER EATS. I have been scammed THREE TIMES by Uber Eats, the third time was today. I ordered from Hype Burger and the driver stole my order. UBER EATS employs the worst delivery people who scam you by calling you right before they arrive at your door. If you don't answer, they mark the order as delivered and steal your food. Uber's customer service does NOTHING to help you, as it is automated and they are pathetic. Use GLOVO. They are reliable and their delivery people are honest.

Dear Consumer Affairs, I am writing to file a complaint against Uber Eats regarding their unfair cancellation policy and unhelpful customer service. On 2/15, I placed an order through the Uber Eats app. Within one minute, I realized there was an issue and immediately canceled it. Despite canceling almost instantly, I was still charged in full. I reached out to customer service via chat, expecting a reasonable resolution, but was met with robotic, unhelpful responses that essentially stated, “We can’t help you.”
The agent claimed that if a restaurant accepts the order, I am charged, even though Uber Eats’ own website states that charges only apply when the merchant starts preparing the order. It is impossible for a restaurant to begin making food within a single minute, making this charge completely unjustified. This kind of deceptive policy and lack of genuine customer support is unacceptable. I urge Consumer Affairs to investigate Uber Eats’ misleading cancellation practices and lack of accountability in customer service. Thank you for your time and assistance.

I even have picture that were taken from my ring camera and the guy did not have the water. So even with proof the company didn't refund me my water. They gave me a script left and right as I'm speaking with a computer. This app takes your money and it sucks, drivers and customer service rep.

I ordered from Uber eats. The food was scheduled to arrive by 345pm. At 350 the driver called. He doesn’t speak English so I had to text him in the app. He said he was in my driveway. I informed him no one is in my driveway. I asked him what address was he at. I gave him my address I ordered from. He tells me he is 13 mins away. 13 mins go by still no food. Called to complain to uber eats and Kay said she will have a supervisor call me. I waited 30 mins still no food no call from supervisor. I tried to call uber eats back and my number was blocked. This is the worse service ever. I will never use them again.

Despite the fact that the Ubereats service usually, eventually works, there are several problems I have with this service:
1. Inability to cancel, once process gets too far! But cancellation process seems overly complex, since it's not just a cancel button. apparently you have to use some kind of chat.
2. Uber website doesn't even have a contact page or link. I had to search the web, to find a way to reach Ubereats & looks like they only have a phone number; meaning long waits, since everyone using same option.
3. No ability, up front, to NOT provide a tip to the driver, even though there are also other delivery fees!
4. If driver service less than acceptable, only way to acknowledge this is by filling out form at the end of the process, where we are able to rate the driver and the store we ordered from. With this form, you can give a thumbs down and reduce tip, IF the form is available! But, after last order, I did NOT get this option; and, so, driver got away with full tip, even though I had planned to NOT give him a tip.
5. There appears to be NO questions in form allowing customers to review Ubereats performance! I guess Ubereats assumes that there service is always perfect and can't possibly be improved, which is amazingly arrogant!
6. Since Ubereats is just a middle-man between customer, driver & store, Ubereats clearly doesn't want to be involved! They just want to collect fees for the service! But, if so, seems like they would work very hard to ensure they provide ways to contact the driver or the vendor. But Ubereats doesn't provide any phone numbers, contact names or any way to reach the vendor! And seems like only SOMETIMES will I see a phone number for the driver!
7. Today, I had to use web to find phone number for the vendor & tried calling. But, by then, shopping was already finished; so too late to provide shopping details that I should have been able to provide, when I submitted order! Therefore, just like Ubereats provides text field for delivery instructions for the driver, why, in God's name, wouldn't they do the same for the vendor? I wanted to provide details regarding expiration dates & about my preference, if desired items not available: I did NOT want shopper to simply replace with something similar. But, again, no way to get this info to the vendor!
Unfortunately, many other minor issues that I won't even bother going into! When I got a chance to talk to Ubereats, after explaining all of the above, the agent seemed to conclude that I was upset with the driver or something! But, no. The problem was my inability to reach the driver, since Ubereats didn't provide any way to do this!
In this case, driver wasn't reading or replying to texts sent, which is at least a standard way to reach out to the driver. BUT this only works, if/when the texts are actually read by the driver! In this case, I sent more than 4 texts, and none of them got read! So, again, Ubereats needs to figure out how to be a better company! If they want to put all of the pressure on the driver and the vendor, in terms of service quality, then they need to do a lot more work, to ensure the customer is able to appropriately and reliably interface with the driver and vendor!
Driver more or less forced me to follow procedure and give him a PIN for my order! And, so, I eventually complied! But why is the customer always expected to do their part, even when and while others FAIL to do their part! I wanted to talk to driver, before he left the store, but I couldn't do that! So why should the driver get what he wants, but the customer can't??

I never received my order, because the driver couldn't understand English and therefore couldn't read directions. But he marked the delivery as "completed" anyway. And the customer service number doesn't work anymore. The only option is an online chat with incompetent bots. They concluded that the driver hadn't followed proper procedures, but that would be because the company hires people who don't understand English. I didn't trust them to refund my money, so I called my bank to have the charges reversed. Save yourself some money and aggravation, and just pick up your food. Don't waste one penny on Uber Eats - they don't deserve it.

If you can come to terms with the higher food costs and various fees associated with this app, you can enjoy an excellent convenience service. But get ready to pay an average price of about ten bucks more for your food instead of driving the two miles to the drive-through yourself or dining in and paying onsite. The issue I have when using this service is that they incentivize tips. Many problems arise when they do this.
I don't think tip amounts should be shown to drivers until AFTER they've performed the service. Tips are EARNED. They should not be automatically given to supplement incomes, but unfortunately, the tipping culture is changing. This puts the responsibility of fair wages on the consumer and not the company. So, to adapt to these changing tip trends, I've had to leave the maximum amount posted at the beginning of the order to ensure that my food order comes accurately, to the right place, and on time. Then, I'm forced to adjust the tip amount AFTER the order is delivered to reflect the quality of service I got. It's a hassle sometimes to remember to go back in to adjust the tip. In my opinion, this way of doing things benefits the company and drivers, but the customer, not so much.

Uber Eats has demonstrated a complete lack of care for its customers while enabling its Delivery Partners to scam users without consequence. Here’s my experience: The delivery person never rang the doorbell—something every other delivery service manages to do without fail. Instead, they marked the order as “delivered,” even though I never received the food. Attempts to contact the driver were futile—they ignored calls, messages or would be unresponsive in a call. I even went outside multiple times to search for the driver, when the driver called for pick-up, but they were nowhere to be found. The restaurant confirmed that the food was picked up, which clearly places the issue on the driver.
Despite providing clear evidence, including call logs, showing my efforts to resolve the situation, Uber Eats refuses to issue a refund. Their support team only sends generic, robotic responses, avoiding accountability entirely. As a customer, I am appalled by this treatment. I will never use Uber Eats again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting this platform. Many of the positive reviews here are suspiciously over-the-top, filled with excessive superlatives, and seem blatantly fake—likely an attempt to prop up their brand image.

This New Year's Eve, Uber Eats turned my dinner plans into a nightmare. I placed an order on the app for pickup at a restaurant that, according to them, was open and accepting orders. I left my family at home and drove to the restaurant, only to find it CLOSED. CLOSED! On New Year's Eve. But it doesn't end there. I contacted Uber Eats customer service and encountered the most insensitive and unhelpful response I have ever received. Not only did they refuse to take responsibility for their app's mistake, but they closed my case over and over again without providing any solution.
In short:
* Misleading information on the app: They showed a closed restaurant as open.
* Waste of time and money: I had to drive on New Year's Eve for nothing.
* TERRIBLE customer service: Automated responses, incompetence and insensitivity.
* Zero accountability: They refused to acknowledge their mistake and offer a solution.
If you're looking for a reliable delivery service with good customer service, stay away from Uber Eats! My experience was disastrous and I don't want anyone else to go through the same.
Tips:* ALWAYS verify that the restaurant is open before placing an order on Uber Eats.
* If you have any problems, be prepared to be ignored by their customer service.
* Seriously consider using other, more reliable food delivery platforms.
I hope my review helps you avoid a bad experience with Uber Eats.

This review is coming from an Uber Eats delivery driver. I was happy with the company at first. I have an Uber One membership. Lately it’s like my last 5-10 orders have been horrible. I live in an apartment complex. I put in the instructions how to get to my building. Where it’s located. The building name and number and what my mat says (oh no not you again). So of course they bring it to the apartment of the building number which tells me they don’t pay attention to the instructions. I took out the building number and I got an attitude from a driver that I didn’t put the building number. So I put the building number back in the instructions and I sent the driver personal messages about which building is mine and the apartment number. They still screw it up which again tells me they don’t pay attention to the instructions.
Today my order was delivered to the wrong building altogether. I just got out of the shower and had to walk to the building in the cold with dripping wet hair to retrieve my food. Of course I took all these tips away from these drivers. A few weeks ago I ordered breakfast before work. I usually leave at 720 so I ordered it at 620. The food didn’t come until after 730. I had to race to work. It was supposed to be delivered by a girl Ashley. A guy shows up in a totally different car reeking of weed. It's drivers like them that give us good drivers a bad name. My uber one account expires soon and I will not be renewing. I will be moving on to another food delivery service. Ps I have pictures attached. Do either mat look like they say oh no not you again? The first picture isn’t even my building and yes we have signs on our buildings with the building names.

I was in Seattle recently with my son. Decided to order Uber Eats on my app. Found restaurant in area to order pizza from. Wanted to order a large pepperoni pizza with feta cheese and was quoted $36 US plus 49 cents delivery on the app. Then the total 'magically' changed to $55 US. Decided to try to cancel immediately then was informed on app I couldn't because I'd be charged $36 US.
Called the restaurant and they told me they would call Uber to sort this out and Uber would be contacting me. Uber didn't and I tried to get this fixed on my app myself but I was unsuccessful and frustrated. I even took pics of the pizza which was totally wrong, cold and arrived very late. Uber has the pics of the screwed up order in their system. It is very upsetting about those extra hidden delivery/service charges. If Uber was upfront and mentioned this at the time of ordering I would not have ordered. No one in their right mind would pay $55 US for a large pepperoni pizza! Do not use Uber Eats!

On Thanksgiving weekend, I was in Garland, TX visiting family. Friday I had Uber Eats delivery. Two weeks later, I order delivery for pizza in Charlotte, NC. This was weird, it said I was out of delivery area, but the order went through anyway for pizza in Garland, TX. I did not know how to change the order to Charlotte. So. I cancel the order. I was charged for the pizza that I did not receive. I cancel within one minute.
I complained to Uber about it. I called, they said that I was charged because the order had went through. My point, first, I was not in delivery area of Garland, TX, why did the order go through to Garland, TX. Second, Uber tracks your location. Third, the app is not user friendly for a senior citizen and disable person. Which, I could not figure how to stop the order, so I cancel less than one minute. Fourth, I did not change my location for Garland when I ordered food that is why I was so confused. I should be refunded my money back. I have been a long time customer and order with Uber Eats and Rides. I never had this problem before.

Literally the worst company you could ever use because if you have a problem, you’ll never receive your money back. Our driver stole $140 worth of food and 10 days later, Uber Eats is still asking me for pictures of the receipt because the one I have is “unclear”. It’s very clear. The driver stole our tacos (for several teachers) and Uber Eats doesn’t care to give refunds. Door Dash will be my new go to. At least they’re willing to refund you when there is an issue. We NEVER ask for refunds and we order several hundreds dollars worth per week at my school, but nope. That’s not even good enough for Uber Eats.

I’ve had good experiences with the drivers except this last one who put the food right in front of my door so when I opened it my tea spilled. You can’t train common sense into people. I assumed it was a problem with the app and continued to wait. I tried messaging the 3rd driver to make sure that she was indeed picking up my order and got no response. By this time it was an HOUR after I ordered, so I got on the chat to see what I could do. The app said that I would not get my order until 11:55, which is almost 2 hours after I placed the order! On December 6, 2024 at approximately 6:40pm MT, I ordered Popeyes for a family dinner through the restaurant section of the Instacart app. Instacart partners with UberEats to offer the restaurant section. I ordered through the Instacart app, because I pay for an Instacart membership, (not an UberEats membership). But, when my order came on December 6, 2024, the Spicy chicken sandwich was missing. I called Instacart (because, that’s who’s membership I have), for a resolution. They could have given me the sandwich (which is what I really wanted), given me a credit, or given me a refund. Instead, they passed it on to Uber. Since, December 6, 2024, I have been calling Instacart and Uber, in reference to the missing chicken sandwich. Uber sent me an email asking for a receipt, on December 9, 2024. The only receipt that I have, after that night, is in the Instacart app. I attempted to send a screenshot of that receipt by replying to that email and attaching the screenshot.
Uber sent me an email saying “We received this email from a different email address than the one you initially used to contact us.” So, I sent them a completely new email with the receipt attached. Uber sent me an email saying “We received this email from a different email address than the one you initially used to contact us.” So, I called Instacart, they said that they have the receipt. But, there’s nothing that they can do since, Uber took and fulfilled the order, and charged my card. So, I have to deal with Uber. I called Uber, and Uber asked again for my email; which the already had, since that’s where the sent the initial email requesting the receipt.
On the call to Uber on December 9, 2024 they said that it must be a glitch and they were escalating the matter. Then when I called them on December 10, 2024, and spoke to CJ (recording #**), I was told that the matter was resolved and that I would receive the refund. Then I started getting emails saying that the matter was resolved. But, I still haven’t received a refund or credit. So, I called Uber again at 833-982-8237, to see what was going on. I was told that I need to send them the receipt. I asked them “How, I keep emailing it. And you keep sending me emails saying “We received this email from a different email address than the one you initially used to contact us.” Again they asked me what was my email address?
This is absurd, they are playing email games over a spicy chicken sandwich, after I spent a total of $57.46. They know because I live in a rural area; they are the only game in town. So, there’s nothing I can do; but, let them rob me. It’s not much money; but, if they do that to a thousand people, it’s a lot for them. And, they are so big they know there’s nothing I can do,

Wrong Item Delivered: I received an item that was not what I ordered and cost more than my original purchase. Despite providing clear evidence (including photos), my request for a refund or adjustment was denied without explanation or alternative solutions.
Ignored Membership Benefits: As a paying member of Uber One, I anticipated better service, yet the customer support team failed to resolve my issue, ignored my concerns, and treated me as though my membership meant nothing.
Request to Cancel Membership Dismissed: When I asked for my Uber One membership to be canceled, the representative ignored my request and abruptly ended the chat, claiming the issue was resolved when it clearly wasn’t.
Robotic and Unempathetic Responses: The entire interaction felt scripted and dismissive. There was no genuine attempt to resolve my issue or retain me as a customer.
Ending the Chat Prematurely: Without confirming resolution or canceling my account, the representative closed the chat and left me feeling undervalued and unheard.
This experience has pissed me off and my trust in Uber Eats and Uber One is done. Their customer service is terrible and I can no longer rely on them. They give you the bare minimum to rectify a wrong. They have zero common sense and cannot problem solve and the fees, taxes, etc you pay aren't considered when they rectify the situation, if they rectify the situation. I am extremely upset and frustrated with the service I received from Uber Eats. I was charged $100 for an order that was never delivered to the correct location, and it seems as though Uber Eats has effectively stolen my money. The driver claimed to have left my order outside on the sidewalk, at a completely different pin location than the one I provided in the delivery instructions. No photo was provided to confirm the delivery, which is standard practice.
When I contacted customer support, I was met with blatant disregard. The agent, "Bon," not only refused to help resolve the situation but also refused to escalate my issue to a manager. I was told that someone would call me back "later," but when I asked for details—like who would be calling and when—the agent hung up on me. To make matters worse, no refund has been issued, and the $100 I spent on this order remains unaccounted for. This is unacceptable. I trusted Uber Eats to provide reliable service, and instead, I've encountered unprofessionalism and a complete lack of accountability. I expect immediate action on this matter, including a full refund and a proper investigation into the behavior of both the driver and the support agent.

After an order of almost €30, my delivery never came to my house. Sadly, which of course in cases like this helps them tremendously, Uber Eats doesn't have a telephone number. You can only contact them via their own platform and you'll have to wait. To put it short, Uber Eats believes that the delivery driver came (first lie), rang the bell 3 times (second lie) and phoned me (yet another lie). I have proof that they never ever called me AND that there was another person at home who also never got called or never heard a ring. Uber Eats won't give my money back, so basically I lost €30 because of this after being a customer for well over 2 years. Yeah, never EVER you should trust Uber Eats for deliveries. If there is even one slight moment of things going bad, they will leave you. 2 years of being a customer or not - they-don't-care. You be the judge if they're worth it.
If they want to make amends, start by offering people a friggin' telephone number. How on earth does a gigantic company like Uber don't have a number?! Also, stop lying. Just stop it. Admit it went wrong and just help people when needin' helping. If that would've been done, I would gladly be a customer for another 2 years. But because of this? So, I took protective measures to minimize an allergic reaction and am seeing a doctor today.
Uber refused a refund because this somehow wasn't eligible for a refund under their community guidelines. I called Uber Eats Customer Service twice and the agents kept closing out my Uber App complaint stating "no response needed. We'll talk to the restaurant." Apparently, they are less concerned about the health of their customers (with known food allergies) and more concerned about keeping payment for a meal that almost killed me. This has happened multiple times, and recently, I didn't receive a refund for the second charge at all. When I followed up, they told me to contact my bank. Uber Eats screws over their drivers continuously. There is no way for a driver to know how much they'll actually be paid for a job prior to taking it. Uber shows an amount that's higher than what it may actually be. Uber took most of the money from a drop-off I did recently as they said I didn't complete it. Their GPS tracking, phone records, and conversation with the customer all show otherwise. A system glitch on their end prevented the ride from being "completed" on screen, so it wouldn't close it out.
A few dollars taken from a million drivers will add up to millions in extra revenue for Uber. Was their computer glitch accidental or intentional as an avenue to take what isn't theirs? Don't be naive; large companies operate like this. I deleted my account after they wouldn't release my funds. Theft is theft. I hope some AI societal wide change puts them out of business and bankrupts them in the future. I've noticed that when large corporations steal there is little to no recourse for the people who were stolen from. Luckily, I never supported their ride service and I never will. On 6/11, I placed my order with Uber Eats, specifying that I want extra sauce, and that the pizza be cooked well done. The total order with tip was $41.57. When I received my pizza neither was done to order. I called the restaurant, spoke with the manager, and he said it was never communicated to him. He also said that they can only make the orders as communicated by Uber Eats, they cannot change anything. So, Uber Eats dropped the ball.
On the day I was leaving Las Vegas, 6/14, I placed another order from the same restaurant via Uber Eats, again specifying that I want extra sauce, and that the pizzas be cooked well done. This time it was a large order for $140.14 including a generous tip, so I could bring 4 pizzas home to So. California. First, the Uber Eats delivery person could not find the clearly marked Uber pickup area at Caesar's Palace for a half hour. She kept getting close, but would then drive in the wrong direction, so I called her to discover she could not speak or understand a word of English. This only compounded the problem, and I was up against the clock to get to the airport on time. Eventually she found me. While waiting for my Uber ride to the airport I had a few slices of pizza only to notice again, they neither had extra sauce, nor were they cooked well done as I ordered.
I followed up with Uber Eats after getting home and was told they were not going to do anything about it, as I passed their 48 hour rule. Uber Eats refuses to send me my original order texts where I specified extra sauce and to be cooked well done. That’s fine because I will never use their service again. One question I have is, why would they ever hire a non-English speaking person for a job that requires communications with customers?

I tried to use their chat option to resolve it again today and 2x they said they were reviewing the info and came back after leaving me on hold just to get a message saying they forwarded the issue to another team and you’ll head back in 6-12 hours later - again tonight it was over an extra $5 credit and meanwhile when I was trying to get thru to Someone and typing just to be ignored and brushed off the food that I did get got cold and soggy and of course they won’t do anything g about that either!! I am housebound. I order delivery VERY often. I recently ordered from a local restaurant and did not receive an entire $20.00 entree. I asked for a refund. Uber Eats replied they could not process a refund for me. I was furious but eventually forgot about it. This happened again while I was traveling. I asked for a refund. This time I read why they would not process a refund. Because I report missing food too often. I suppose we should just keep our mouths shut when we miss a dinner we paid for—including service fees and tip. I realize things happen. Especially if you use delivery services several times a week. A company that does not honor its implied contract to deliver what you pay for should be investigated. Grubhub processes a refund immediately, no questions asked. DoorDash will even provide a credit for substandard service. I suggest you use either of those services.

I purchased the wrong item through the Uber Eats app. When I made the first transaction I immediately canceled but was still charged. They have an authorization hold policy for all transactions to be held until I receive the item but they failed to reimburse me for the items I purchased. Instead, customer service told me since the food was being prepared when it wasn’t that I’m still responsible for paying for it. I’m allergic to spicy foods so that’s the reason I had to cancel the order.
Right after I ordered the same items from the same app after I corrected my order. After speaking with customer service again I was told I would still be charged for the first order so I immediately cancelled the second order just to receive the same result. They lied about allowing me to speak with their supervisor while placing me on hold numerous times to delay the cancellation. Both store at Popeyes are literally 10 minutes away and my food wasn’t going to be received until after a hour later. Either the food was not fresh or it was going to be cold once I received it. At the end of the day, I was charged $42.02 for items I never received.

So frustrating. I have used this service many times in the past year. As long as everything is perfect you are golden, but don’t have an issue you will be made to feel like a beggar, liar or thief. I have had mistakes made in the past and it is always drama-filled to get it identified and a solution found, but recently the camel's back was broken for good. I was out of state and used the app to order dinner for my granddaughter and myself. It turns out both dinners were made incorrectly. Two pasta dishes that were the wrong pasta and the wrong sauce. I message the app as soon as it arrived. I got the canned message stating they would reach back out in 24 hours. That didn’t happen so I messaged again.
This time I was told I had to notify within 48 hours so no refund would happen. I messaged back I notified them in less than 48 minutes, let alone hours. Message came back … "We will contact you in 24-48 hours." Again nothing! This time I asked to speak to a supervisor. The response was that I had exceeded the number of times to contact them about the order so…no refund. Now I was getting really irritated. I sent one more message with a timeline of events. I asked to speak to a human. To get a number to call, anything. Did not happen. The final answer was that over the years I belonged to their service I had enough problem orders that required part or full refunds (rare event, I recall one) that I was no longer allowed a refund on an order for any reason. They have a policy that says if you exceed ——% of your total expenses as a refund or credit then you can no longer get a refund regardless of the reason.
I was not told what percent of returns is too high a percentage, but now know if I ever used the service again I would never get a credit or refund no matter what. I messaged back and said, "Why don’t you hold your vendors responsible for their mistakes?" So I am gone…I will never return. Uber Eats you should be ashamed you can not hold your vendors accountable for the food they send out, you need at least one human and one phone number that can speak to customers. You need to make your customers aware that they can only get a % of their orders in credits regardless how wrong the order turned out to be. I am sure I am just one and really does not matter to you that I feel wronged. At least it won’t be me losing any more money to you.

I ordered us food through Uber Eats on mother's day. It was very expensive so I checked the restaurant's actual page and it was about $30 cheaper. I went to Uber to see if you could still cancel. I never saw anything saying I would be charged or I would have never done it!! The next day I noticed that the charge was still on my bank account but it was pending. I figured oh okay it will drop off before posting.
Yesterday when I looked at my bank account it had posted. I went immediately to Uber eats website and tried to see what was going on. I clicked on some help stuff and it basically said it had been more than 2 days so they can't do anything. I contacted them through a chat message and they told me the same thing. I let them know why I waited for two days because I didn't know I was being charged and by the time I noticed it posted it was past the two days. They continued to say, "Well we can't do anything because of the 48hour rule." Then disconnected himself from the chat.
I spoke with 4 more people that all did the same thing. I asked them all to let me talk with someone higher up or give me a phone number and they all just kept saying, "We can't help you. Go to the help section in our app." I have never dealt with a company that just truly could care less. I drove Uber Eats for three years and am no longer driver due to not having a vehicle. My approach to driving was all about customer service, sometimes driving back to the restaurant if the order was wrong or a drink was missing. This would be off the clock. Now that I am a customer for the first time, I ordered a McDonald's meal a couple of days ago. Firstly, the driver was 30 minutes late with my order. Secondly, the order arrived with the label not sealed and inside the handled bag was an opened bag. The handled bag was opened enough where I would not need to remove any other labels to remove the meal and drink. I was able to stick my entire arm in the bag.
She delivered the meal to reception at the hotel, otherwise I would not have accepted it. I contacted Uber to get a refund or a replacement and they were not immediately available. The other thing is they refused to issue a refund, so $17.25 including the tip would not be refunded. I will never order food from them again, and I urge you to inspect your meals, especially if the driver is 30 minutes late.

They were inedible so we threw them out and tried to resolve the issue by clicking on the Help button on the app. Which we discovered wasn't working, so I called Uber Eats customer support. The woman I talked with said she couldn't give me a refund for the cost of the salads which was $24.98. When I asked why she wouldn't give me a reason. I then asked for a supervisor and was told there was no supervisor there.
I received an email back today stating that Uber Eats could not refund me because it has been longer than 48 hours since I placed the order, which is not true since the order was placed April 10, 2024 and it was the next day. I spoke to customer service and they said if I canceled order from a restaurant I will be charged full price for the canceled order. That is just crazy as I canceled order right away.

Do not give Uber Eats your money! “Service” fees are ridiculously high, any refund for items not received are then charged to customer service cost, and purchasing Uber One does not lower any prices. Yes, even the restaurants marked as gold and having no delivery fee will incur the same charges. I put two items in our cart, checked the total, and then signed up for Uber One. Our total increased by several dollars. Postmates was doing a great job but they have merged with UberEats so don’t use them either. HORRIBLE customer service. Looks like we’re off delivery.

If I could give them zero stars I would. This place is completely ridiculous. Do not use them! If you ever have a problem or need to contact them you cannot because they don't have a phone number. They don't have customer service where you can talk to a person. They have a chat that keeps repeating itself. It's absolutely ridiculous. I will never ever use them or Uber of any kind from here on out. I will spread it to my friends!

Uber eats charged me: $16.10 for a BBQ bacon Cheddar Burger according to website: **,.. Their BBQ bacon Cheddar Burger is only,.. $8.69,.. $16.10-$8.69= $7.41 that I believe is owed back to me,.. Uber eats charged me: for a classic smash burger $10.93 according to website: **,.. Their classic smash burger was: $7.19,... 10.93-$7.19= $3.74 that I believe is owed back to me,... Uber eats charged me: $8.23 for an Oreo shake,... according to website: **,.. Their Oreo milk shake is: $6.39,... $8.23-6.39=$1.84. Including the $0.99 cents for a Delivery fee, and other fees and Taxes Uber eats charged me was $10.79 All together. This "service" charges fees on top of elevated menu prices and driver tips. They also do not provide any support for customers when a driver lies about trying to reach you. No call, no lunch, no refund.

I ordered through them to buy grocery for my daughter. My daughter didn’t receive anything at the scheduled delivery time frame. They are telling me that the order has been delivered. They verified with a pin? Whatever that means. Now I’m left with no food with a charged bank account. They are unreliable. Cannot be trusted. I’ll just call my bank and dispute the charge. But what a disappointment. Never using them again.

The Stiving ** man came to my door as an Uber driver, tried to bombard his way into my house, and demand my pin upon receiving the pin. He then did not deliver the food and ran away after trying to get into my home, saying that he’ll bring the food back in five minutes and never came back.

Customer service department is completely lacking in knowledge. Can't even tell you what cards they accept. All they do is tell you that another department has to answer that by email. They never do. When I also asked why I have to confirm my online order via Facebook (which I'm not on), they couldn't tell me. They again told me to wait until the other department reaches me via email. They didn't even know that if you use their app, you don't have to bother with Facebook. I found that out by myself, by trial and error. These are basic questions that Customer service should be able to answer, and they can't. Absolutely useless.

I ordered last dinner last night for my family, when it arrived it smelled like Marijuana. I contacted the driver. She laughed and hung up. I had to throw the entire order away and Uber Eats refused to refunded any of my money. So pretty much the safety of customers is not at all important to them. They do not care who the hire apparently and doing drugs is ok with them. This world is full of drugs that are killing people, I could not let my kids eat food that had only God knows what kind of drugs around it... If you have a problem with your order just know Uber Eats will not refund your money. Once they get it they keep it no matter what kind of issue it is. I'll be sticking to DoorDash for now in hopes that I don't have to ever encounter a situation like I did last night.

The delivery driver drops my order off at the wrong address and I get charged for it. They will not refund my order because this has happened too many times on my account. Which their delivery drivers do keep messing it up. I’m an honest person and can’t believe this company can get away with charging me for a service and food I never received. Worse customer service and policy. Do not use them.

I placed an order this morning. I waited an hour and watched driver after driver cancel on me, finally to have one tell me that the restaurant that had accepted and supposedly prepared my order wasn’t even open. I went on chat support and spent 10 minutes trying to get help, but the moron just kept telling me if he cancelled on his end I would still be charged in full and that I needed to have the driver cancel. Yeah, we’ll every time I asked the driver to cancel, a new one just got assigned to the order. I finally called Uber and after spending another 20 minutes on hold, I was able to get my order cancelled. All in all, I wasted over an hour of my morning and still have no breakfast. I just deleted my Uber account because I’m furious with their poor customer service — I shouldn’t have to go to that much effort to get refunded for an order that should have never been accepted in the first place!

Oh my god. This is my first & last time using Uber Eats. Been waiting for 2 hours just to get told the food was cancel so reorder the food. They say they might have a glitch. I'm soo mad. Call and talk to one lady. She didn't know how to cancel the order. Keep saying she can't. She hung up on my face. I ask her to talk to her boss. Call back and get told the same stuff. Out of money and no food damn.
