Their free credit first time order is just a scam to steal money from you, I order food. They had my add tip and order, then kept pushing back delivery time then when they said food was leaving I immediately went and sat on the step. 8 mins later it said my food was delivered. Nobody even drove down my block. Nevermind come to my house (they have no pic of delivery) so I go to change the tip. It does not allow me so I get charge $4 plus tax for nothing then they refuse to refund my account so I got hours of time wasted, too late to get food elsewhere and $4 and change take from my account so I had to pay for this aggravation.

Just ORDERED Burger King, The cost for a Whopper Meal was $19 including a $1 Tip because they were already charging $6. For delivery plus tax and somehow it was an hour for delivery. Realized when it said an hour away that it was being picked up by a Burger King much farther away from me. My Burger King is only 15 min away. I canceled the order and got charged $14 dollars for the inconvenience. Total rip off!!

I was defrauded! I ordered a delivery for food, costing $42 with tip. It took forever so we called the driver. Her name is Kristin, she told us she can’t deliver the order saying she had to drive an hour to deliver someone else’s food, even though she had already picked up our food! She told us to cancel the order and it would reverse charge, so we did. Today I see the charge on my card. I think she performed a scam. I have her phone number too so trying to get a hold of Uber to file a complaint. Not only did she get a tip, she stole our food! I filed a case with the credit card company so will see if I get my money back. I will never trust to use Uber Eats or any delivery app. Uber Eats, people you have working for you are cheats and frauds!

Beware, better to drive somewhere to pick up then deal with this bunch of clowns. BTW, I will be disputing credit card charges.

Zero stars would best describe the situation. They hire non-English speaking individuals who need help with translating conversations. The delivery driver didn't speak any English at all and was sent out to deliver my order. He didn't understand the address where he was supposed to deliver to and couldn't communicate. He was rude and unprofessional. Needless to say, he dropped off my order in a random building. I called the restaurant and per the translator my lunch was left by the elevator in a building because he had to go. And Ubereats acts as if this normal, professional and how you handle business. I have sent several messages via the chat box because they don't accept calls. I can imagine the number of calls they would get for piss poor service. Think twice about using the service. I am still waiting on a refund. I wish I had read the reviews first.

ALL order attempts default to the Defunct one on the check out page. There is literally no one to speak even if you want to pay. So now cannot order at all. DoorDash wins by default.

I am currently a driver for this company. They've done me so poorly! I was in a head on collision with another vehicle December 30, 2025 and wasn't at fault as the other driver was doing an illegal u-turn turn inside of a hill and was just sitting in the middle of the road the time of the accident. I sustained injuries to my chest. Lost my vehicle.... The ONLY VEHICLE I HAD TO MAKE A MEANS TO LIVING. They denied any compensation as there are supposed to be policies on every driver. At the time of the accident as I was in the back of an ambulance Uber customer support was only worried about returning the grocery delivery I was delivering at the time. Almost lost my life. If I were never on a delivery that morning I would have never been in an accident as I lived on the opposite side of town.

After losing my vehicle I've been homeless with my 12 year old daughter, can't get help. Waiting on my attorney to help and that's taking a long time. My life was turned upside down thanks to this horrible company. The phone conversation was recorded the day of my accident. I wished there was something that could be done because they did me wrong. On many levels. Left us suffering for something that wasn't my fault. If anyone reads this and could help my family please we need all the help we can get because of this horrible company. ** is my number and we do have cash app for anyone willing to donate to us **. We don't know what else to do. No one will help us and it's awful.

The drivers couldn’t locate the only Marriott at City Creek in downtown Salt Lake City. The app took them to another Marriott. They credited me for the first one. I thought it was just a bad driver the first time., The second time, the driver told me it was the app, and he couldn’t go outside of the app’s route. They charged me for my entire order. I escalated through Customer Service, even talking to a Customer Service Manager. He explained it wasn’t my fault but frefused to credit me back. Awful service.

They don’t give you a total before you pay and then when you pay, it’s as if you ordered three meals and not one or two you have no way to cancel and then when you talk to customer support, they want you to take a screenshot of the promotion. Well that wasn’t listed because to go back and take a screenshot you cannot and then it’s constantly I cannot refund money for this order. Stick with DoorDash. Screw Uber eats.

Ordered two pizzas from a restaurant. The restaurant called directly to inform me they didn’t have the necessary ingredients to make them, I asked them to cancel the order and they did. I then went on my Uber Eats app to find they charged me $52.48. When I told them that the order was cancelled in agreement with the restaurant, Uber said they will not refund,, that it is policy for them to charge for the ‘restaurant’s compensation for food preparation’ and ‘driver delivery time’.

This is completely and utterly outrageous considering the restaurant didn’t make any of the order and no driver had gone to the restaurant yet when the order was cancelled in agreement. I can understand a $10 or even $20 charge but $52 is completely unreasonable and a complete scam when I got absolutely nothing in return. I’ve reported this to the BBB in addition to canceling my Uber One membership. From this point on, I will order direct through the restaurant, or Grubhub or DoorDash for delivery and will use Lyft for rides. I do not recommend Uber for anything at this point.

I like to acknowledge those workers that do their jobs and do their jobs well. Uber Eats has a bad habit of advertising discount Promo Codes on food/grocery delivery orders. At the end of your order, Once you've ordered groceries, the Promo Discount amount is not taken from your total amount due. This has happened multiple times and no one wants to take responsibility for it. I've ordered groceries from meijer's, and others places such fresh themed, etc. The Promo Codes are entered and you see the The discounted percentage and the amount. Once you receive your final bill and have placed the order. That discount is nowhere to be seen. And no one is taking responsibility for this. The consumer is being royally messed over.

Uber tells you to call the business. The business says it's Uber Eats. Basically you're cheated out a Promo discount, which motivated you to place the order initially. You end up paying full price for a large grocery order with no 25-30% discount promo, that you was promised/advertised. You pay full price with no form of discount related to the Promo. I'm sick of it. This has happened more times than not. I paid for Uber Eats/Grocery Services, because I have elderly parents and I thought it would be helpful. Honestly, it's more of headache than it's worth.

Uber Eats is advertising falsely with discounts, promo codes, etc. And they need to be called on their stuff. This has been the Uber Eats/Grocery grocery weekend from Hell. I ordered my mother breakfast as a treat and had it sent to her home. She received someone else's order. Unfortunately, what they gave her was nothing that she liked. I called the restaurant, They disconnected the call three times. So because I made my mom a promise, I resent her breakfast. So I payed for two breakfast for her. What can I say, I LOVE MY MOM.

Businesses, Uber Workers, and the UBER Organization; GET YOUR CRAP TOGETHER. Try operating like a true functional business and come together, for those who actually pay for this service. To think I pay for Uber Eats to Decrease my weekend stress.

My husband ordered me dinner tonight. The first order, the app changed inadvertently changed the delivery address. He tried to cancel the order because changing the delivery address requires congressional approval. He was still charged for the order. He decided to deal with that tomorrow and reordered. This time they got it right and set off to deliver.

I was standing outside in my driveway when the driver pulled into the driveway... across the street. I yelled for him and waved my arms like I was having a seizure. After determining he was at the wrong address, he pulled back out into the street, and I watched as he drove away. The order was cancelled by the driver before he got to the end of the street. Uber Eats offered a refund minus some service charge. I'm still looking for any law, statute, or rule that allows a business to keep money for a service they failed to provide.

System seems like it's designed well, until you have to change any part of your order. Placed an order with the understanding that there was no delivery fee, the order was changed to include the delivery fee and they changed the location of the delivery. The only option that gives you is to cancel using their automated AI system which requires you to pay the fee of the order itself. They claim that this is to compensate the restaurant even though the order had just been placed. There is no way that they are had already begun preparing the food. That's frustrating as that sounds it only gets worse. I decide to give them the benefit of the doubt, and place the order again double checking that everything is correct.

So 30 minutes into the order Uber eats notifies me that the driver is 2 minutes away. I look outside my window and I watch him drive to the wrong address and by time I got my shoes on to go outside to correct him he already drove off and canceled the order 2 hours and 30 minutes of trying to order three items from Dairy Queen. I will simply never use Uber eats again. They have showed their incompetence and I am not willing to trust them with my time or money.

So my dad had to wait a total of two hours to finally get his food. It turned out to be $19.00 plus they will charge for items that at a restaurant will be free. For example a tiny amount of sour cream $2.50. Not only do you have a delivery fee plus tipping drivers but also a menu price increase. Total scam. This shouldn’t be legal at all. Just go off the phone with them, asked if customers are aware of different menu prices and was advised that yes before you place the order. Uber Eats has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I ordered from Portland Burger here in Portland specifically because the app clearly advertised a two-for-one deal, but when my order arrived, that deal was not honored at all. Even worse, when I tried to get a refund or any kind of resolution, I was basically stonewalled and told my money couldn’t be refunded. The whole experience felt misleading and unfair, like the promotion was just bait to get the order placed with no accountability afterward. Placed an order on December 20th in Florida with my daughter. It was delivered with completely wrong food non-edible food. We wanted Qdoba but we got some other mush and dried chicken. We did not eat it but had to run out and get other food. When the order was received I tried to call the driver but he didn't pick up. I also tried to call instacart who I use the restaurant credits with but they said it's an Uber Eats issue so I tried to call them and they wouldn't talk to me because my husband's name is on the account and he was in Wisconsin so they hung up on me. I submitted the online comments and completed all the I need help functions including photos. I did this right away while my daughter was driving to get our dinner. Had it been something we could have consumed I would have shut up about the matter but because I was not getting any response and already have been hung up on.

I waited until I got back to Wisconsin two days later and called to see if I could get any help. They told me there was nothing they could do and that I needed to wait for them to look over my help requests. When I received nothing I finally called about 2 weeks later and asked for a manager or supervisor the girl put me on hold for about 20 minutes and the supervisor came on listen to my story and then told me he would call me back but in the meantime he would give me a $10 instacart credit. I immediately asked him if he was trying to blow me off or would I really hear from him and he said he had my number and he would call me back. Nothing.

Last week I submitted another I need help request and was told that because it was past 48 hours they couldn't help me. Now it becomes a principal thing. A huge company that cannot give me the remaining credit back to my account seems fraudulent to me. I will never use the restaurant credits again my daughter has made me promise never to order through Uber Eats and instead use DoorDash. They spend millions of dollars on these cutesy football ads and they can't refund somebody under $30 because they're just not authorized. And I was already told that if I resubmit to the higher-ups that there's no guarantee they will refund my money. It's just theft. Do not use them, there is no way to get your money back if something goes wrong and you're just throwing your money down the toilet

I am leaving this review out of serious concern for how pricing practices are being handled on Uber Eats and how customer complaints are dismissed. Based on my recent experience, it appears that some restaurants on Uber Eats advertise “free gifts” that are actually priced into an inflated menu item, making customers believe they are getting added value when, in reality, they are paying more than the restaurant’s original price.

In my case, I documented a clear example with Afraa Restaurant:
    • An item was listed at a significantly higher price on Uber Eats
    • A “free gift” was included, but that item was separately priced on the menu

    • The same main dish was available on the restaurant’s official website for substantially less

This creates a misleading purchase decision, especially for customers ordering under time pressure or urgency. The concern is not just pricing differences, but how the pricing is presented in a way that pushes customers to place the order. When I contacted Uber Eats customer support with screenshots and documentation, the response was essentially that I “should have noticed myself” and that nothing could be done because this was the restaurant’s choice. No explanation, no investigation, no accountability. Whether intentional or not, Uber Eats is enabling these practices by allowing restaurants to frame inflated prices as “free gifts” and then refusing to intervene when customers raise valid concerns. This shifts all responsibility onto the customer while the platform continues to profit from the transaction.

At a minimum, Uber Eats should:
    • Clearly disclose when prices differ from in-store or official menus
    • Prevent misleading “free gift” pricing structures

    • Provide meaningful support when customers present clear evidence

Until then, customers should be extremely cautious and always cross-check prices before ordering. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in the platform.

I ordered 3 dishes from Emperor's Palace in Bremerton WA from Uber Eats. I have it set up to be dropped off at my door so there's no contact because of my health conditions. I got into my food and I found a foreign object it looked like a black hair weaved deeply through the breading of my Walnut prawn but when I investigated it felt more like either string or a piece of material. I was one scared and upset and disgusted because with the meds I'm on for my brain tumor and other health conditions my immune system is not very strong. I was afraid am I going to get sick? What else is in there? And disgusted, it wasn't just sitting on top it was cooked into the food so what else could I possibly have eaten already. Sorry to be graphic, but it made me vomits the contents of my stomach and of course we will not be eating any of the other food.

I tried to reach out to Uber the first chat with customer service rep was rude, dismissive and I was disconnected before resolution. The second customer service agent started out much more personable and said he's going to look at the case then came right back with one last message that he would forward this to the appropriate channels someone would reach out to me at 6 to 12 hours that was it, no goodbye, no can I help you with anything further, just gone. So I was mad at the restaurant but now I'm disgusted with Uber I got an email rather quickly saying that they'd refund me for the one item I told them that this was really not acceptable being that all of the food has been trashed except for the food that I could see the foreign objects and I've kept those in case I need them.

I don't think it's fair that I have to pay for food that's unsanitary and I don't think I should have to dig through each and every piece to find out if there's something else in it or I don't know what else could be in it with hygiene standards like that you can't see everything that would be in it. Their response was that wouldn't be fair to other customers and this is their policy and have a good day I am so angry and disgusted.

Would you eat food that you know was unsafe and would you be expected to pay for it I mean that was the question I've never asked for a refund on anything like this it hasn't happened before it's not a place I normally order from I don't know if the place was busy I know accidents happened even with my health issues I'd have been pretty creeped out of like a hair was on top of it but being that it was cooked into the food that really upset me. I would have been pacified and still Leary I had been refunded I feel like my money was stolen.

This is roughly 24 hours later and I've been feeling nauseous off and on all day and having sharp lower digestional pains and I don't know if that has anything to do with it YET so 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just wanted to share because heaven forbid you have a vulnerable family member from heart transplant or cancer or any reason, I wouldn't want them to be at risk and if you choose to take that risk I respect that too but know that you're not going to get treated fairly with Uber Eats.

I ordered food from #haroldschicken through Uber Eats and sat here one and a half hours and it turns out #ubereats never sent the order. At one point, they insisted the order ones done and ready. To compensate me, they just canceled the order. HOW CAN YOU CANCEL AN ORDER YOU NEVER SENT AND THEN LIE TO ME AND SAY IT'S READY AND IT'S NOT. I can tell you when #doordash makes a mistake, they give real compensation, not "Ooh well, I am sorry you wasted an hour and half of your life for nothing." I get mistakes happen but it's how you respond to that mistake. #uber is a big company but not big enough to admit they made a mistake and compensate for that. In the last week, I spent around $100 with Uber. That business now goes to Lyft and DoorDash.

This evening I decided to try and order from Taco Bell for delivery. I went to Instacart on my computer only to learn I had to scan the thingie and download the app on my phone because I had to use the app on my phone which turned out to actually be Uber Eats which apparently is now part of Instacart. Well it was a disaster. I got the order done finally (the sort of thing I hate doing in my phone..Need bigger phone I guess)... And went to checkout and was told "Oh no we have a problem. We can't deliver now. We are too busy" or words to that effect... Sigh. So then it said "do you want to choose another restaurant". I said yes but changed mind and closed it. I came back to it in a few minutes to try again and redid the missing order (by then it was gone) and proceeded to check out...

The app would only take Apple Pay which I had never used which made another hurdle. So order in ....Supposed to come time given...etc. Then I get this screen flash that the order was coming from out of town! Well I was already worried it would be cold because Uber Eats orders always arrive cold and Taco Bell is not good cold and is not exactly heat in the mircowave friendly. So I am like WHAT? I did not select a different restaurant and certainly don't want food that's been riding around in a car what looked like would be 45 minutes irregardless of "insulated boxes" for keeping food. I tried to get some customer support ....Talked to three different ones and not a one seemed to care or comprehend what I was saying. Finally the order got here...

The food was all cold and the nacho chips were soft and wet and ugly....I got no satisfaction for either Instacart which is what I went through to get to the order ...Nor Uber Eats. They just flat out don't care. Uber Eats said "You picked that restaurant" which I definitely did not. One of the other support reps said "we pick another restaurant location for you when we are backed up." So what is the case? At any rate got no satisfaction and dinner was ruined. That's twice in a week Instacart has messed me over.

The last Instacart order was late and missing two items. The shopper said was NOT in stock when the store said it was and it has showed as available every single day on their website. Very, very disappointed and unhappy. Does anyone else deliver Taco Bell? Can't seem to get it any way but pickup myself or through Instacart/Uber Eats. Whatever they are here.. Sorry I can't provide receipt.. It's in my phone only and can't get it to computer right now.

Do not waste your time with these clowns and find another service! Even more concerning is Uber Eats' response: Thanks for letting us know. We expect delivery people to meet our quality and safety standards, so we’re sorry to hear that this experience didn’t measure up. You can share this feedback directly with your delivery person and help them improve by giving them a rating in the app. This response is a joke - How about removing unsafe delivery service people who try to scam your clients!

I placed a food delivery order through Uber Eats that totaled $101.99. The confirmation text they sent said I would have to present id and a code to the driver to receive me food, and they provided me with the code to give the driver. I assumed that meant the food would be handed off to me after I provided the necessary code. An hour later, family asked about the food and I looked on the porch, where a bag of food was laying on the porch and two of the items were outside of the bag, one on my steps, and one across the porch. We don't know if driver just threw the bag on the porch or if animals had gotten into the bag, but my family refused to eat food that we have no idea what has happened to the food.

I spent at least another hour on the phone with uber customer service, but was told there was nothing they could do since I did receive my food delivery, that they're not responsible for the quality or temperature of the food, just that it was delivered. So I lost $101.99. I think they should be responsible for their driver(s) not following protocol, not me being penalized for refusing to eat food that I don't know the safety of.

Uber Eats is so poorly managed. First, they charge huge delivery fees, but at some point, it does make sense if you're receiving food on time and you're getting what you've ordered. I had a bad experience with Eats. I ordered 3 coffees and some plain Timbits. My order was accepted and I received a call immediately from the Tim's that they don't have plain tims, "We can send sour Tim's." I said, "No, cancel them bits, just send me my coffee." They can't cancel one particular item. So I was only left with one option to cancel the whole order, which I did.

I paid 30 dollars for 3 coffee and 6 bits. Already absurd amount but CRAVINGS! They charged me $15 dollars just because Tim Hortons accepted my order and now Uber Eats have to pay them for their inconvenience. And My INCONVENIENCE? They are just looting people. If Tim Hortons didn't have something available, just don't accept that order or at least give them option to cancel one item, which they don't have so that customer doesn't have to pay so much to cancel that order. Their customer service is also poor. Got no help whatsoever. Only got texts like - "Try To Understand the situation, we have to pay merchant." So they were at fault and still got paid.

Uber Eats' customer service is absolute garbage. We ordered through the app, and an order that was quoted to take 20 minutes to arrive took over an hour. This is because the app allowed our delivery driver to accept another order, that was NOT on the way, and deliver that one first. Our food arrived ice cold, except for the milkshakes, which were entirely melted. Given how long the food sat out, it wasn't safe to consume and we were charged almost $100 for inedible food. I contacted customer service through the app, which collected the pertinent details and advised they would respond in 48 hours.

For comparison, DoorDash immediately handles these types of problems and offers a refund immediately if there is a problem with the order. Not Uber Eats. I waited the 48 hours, after which I received an email that they "took steps to address the problem." That's it. No refund, no other accountability, just an assurance that they "took steps." I got in touch with them over chat, and they basically told me to get effed. Uber Eats is terrible. Do not use them.

I am filing a formal complaint against Uber for a severe service failure on an Uber Eats order and their subsequent refusal to refund a preset tip for this failed delivery. Summary of Events: I placed an order and provided the correct, verified address for my resort. The driver failed to deliver the food to the specified location. Instead, they left my order on the street, rendering it undeliverable and unreceived. While the delivery was in progress, I observed the driver was not at the correct location. I attempted to contact the driver multiple times through the in-app text feature and by calling the provided phone number. The driver was completely unresponsive. I reported this issue to Uber support, explaining that the food was left on the street and the driver ignored all my attempts to provide direction. Uber support refused to refund the preset tip. Their stated reason was that I "did not contact them within 8 minutes," which is factually incorrect.

Details of Complaint: My communication log within the Uber app will verify that I made several unanswered contact attempts during the delivery process. Uber's claim that I was silent for 8 minutes is false and appears to be a technicality used to deny a valid refund. A tip is a gratuity for service rendered. In this case, not only was the service poor, but it was not completed. The driver failed to follow basic GPS instructions and was unprofessional by ignoring all customer communication. This resulted in my food being abandoned on the street!!! It is fundamentally unfair for Uber to charge me a tip for a service I never received. I am being penalized for the driver's complete failure to do their job.

Desired Resolution: I request a full refund of the preset tip. I should not be forced to pay for a service that was not rendered, especially when the failure was entirely the fault of Uber's driver. And for Uber to continue to allow people to drive and deliver food on the side of a street next to a tree and get paid for it is UNREAL! I recommend no one uses their service!!!!

I ordered $53 worth of food at 11pm at night. I am a single mother and my newborn is teething and fussy all the time so I was hungry and couldn’t put her in the car to get food. I ordered and the delivery guy brought my food somewhere else. When I called to let him know he dropped it off at the wrong address. A guy answered the phone and started cussing me out telling me I had the wrong number and he didn’t know where my food was. When I reported it to Uber with screenshots of the calls to the number and a picture of my front door (clearly different from the door it was dropped off at) Uber said there was no way to confirm I didn’t get my order and refused to refund me or even issue me uber credit. I order uber eats all the time but will never order from them again. Worse customer service I have ever experienced.

I stopped using them years ago during COVID because customer service was poor. Apparently, nothing has changed. Previously, my order would have missing items, incorrect items, or food with inadequate safety seals. It happened again today. Received drinks with inadequate seals. I contacted customer service. They didn't ask for pictures or details. They were adamant they weren't doing anything to remedy this. This was my first customer service complaint since using them again and the experience, once again, was as awful as before. Now I have drinks I can't consume that I've paid for. No notice, no apologies, no explanation. I called Carrabba's to ask and learned that the order was picked up on time by the first driver. Because Uber Eats merchants and delivery drivers failed to pick up my whole order, I lost $6. Plus, my tip was based on the amount of my bill, so I over tipped as well since my bill would have been lower without the missing items. I’m starting to wonder if they have missing items on purpose, so they don’t have to reimburse the full amount. Plus, there is no customer service number anymore. Better options out there.

I received no text, no email, and no order confirmation. To verify, I called the restaurant directly. The staff confirmed that they had received one order with five items, so I ended the call believing everything was correct. The delivery driver later contacted me at 2:58 PM to ask about parking. I told him there was 15-minute parking available and asked him to bring the food up. He never followed up, did not call again, and did not knock on my door. Around 3:15 PM, I found the food had been left outside without notification.

At 4:20 PM, I received an email containing two separate bills. Confused, I called the restaurant again and spoke with the same staff member. She then informed me that two orders had been received: one with five items and another with six items. This was never communicated to me earlier. Had I known, I would have immediately canceled the duplicate. As I only intended to place one order, I find it unacceptable that I was charged twice. I attempted to resolve this through your customer service team yesterday. I spoke with representatives named Vicki and later Sandeep, Angela but neither was able to provide a resolution. **A Critique of Uber Eats Customer Service** Uber Eats has established itself as one of the most widely used food delivery services, yet its customer service and operational policies reveal serious flaws that make it difficult for customers to trust the platform. There are three major concerns that highlight why the service has become frustrating and unreliable: the lack of a clear cancellation option, the absence of immediate supervisory support, and poor technical support.

First, the cancellation process is not user-friendly. Once an order is placed, the app gives the impression that cancellation is either impossible or unclear, with very little time allowed to make changes. Customers may quickly realize they ordered incorrectly or want to cancel for another reason, yet the system does not provide a transparent or reasonable option to do so. Instead, the short cancellation window forces customers to accept the order even if they no longer want it.

Second, Uber Eats does not provide direct access to supervisors or higher-level staff who can address customer issues in real time. Instead, customers are forced to submit tickets and wait between 24 and 48 hours for a response. In urgent situations—such as incorrect orders, billing errors, or missing deliveries—this delay is unacceptable. To make matters worse, when reimbursements are requested, the company almost always denies them, leaving the customer without fair resolution.

Third, technical support is unprofessional and unhelpful. Customers report being talked over, dismissed, and even hung up on by representatives. Such behavior not only frustrates customers but also reflects poorly on the company’s leadership. A company’s customer service is often a direct reflection of its values and culture, and in this case, Uber Eats demonstrates a lack of accountability, professionalism, and care for its users. For these reasons, I will not order from Uber Eats again. The poor cancellation policies, lack of accessible management, and unprofessional technical support have made the service unusable. Based on these experiences, I would not recommend Uber Eats to anyone seeking reliable food delivery.

I reached out to customer support, and only got automated messages through the chat, so I called. They told me to go to Wingstop to get it resolved. I went the next day, and the manager was also unable to administer a refund through the computer. She then called UberEats to request a refund, and she told me to wait for a response from them.

I get a response hours later where they doubled down on saying I can't get any refund, not even a partial refund. Even after the store requested I get my money back, they refused to pay me anything. I reached out to customer support again, this time about the request by Wingstop, and they basically told me to get lost once again. Very stingy. You're better off downloading the app for the store you want to eat at. I have screenshots attached of the messages I received after Wingstop submitted the request, and the conversation with customer service afterwards.

I emailed and contacted Uber Eats, but I have been repeatedly disconnected by Uber Eats customer service representatives without resolving the issue. I demanded a full refund of $24.16 for an order I never received. When I rated my experience as poorly, I clicked on submit and instantly and unexpectedly a $2.96 tip was stolen off my credit card that I never did consent.

I have requested a full refund, but I was emailed ineligible and denied for the reason they claimed that the delivery driver name Jay tried contacting me. This was a lie because the delivery driver Jay never came to my address as I was standing at the door. This is considered FRAUD stealing money from a customer without receiving order and not consenting to tipping which is illegal. I wish to sue Uber Eats if I am not refunded immediately. Uber Eats protects its delivery drivers allowing them to steal and the company profits off the money scamming customers!

I just very recently placed an order with Uber Eats. I had been a fairly long time customer periodically ordering from the service. On the day the order was placed, the Uber Eats app separated my order from the same restaurant, charged me two different delivery fees, and created a double tip to the driver. My food arrived late, Had I not tracked and called the driver, I would not have been made aware of an issue whereby the driver stated, “They had ran into heavy traffic caused by multiple car accidents and that Uber Eats, in its infinite wisdom, made them backtrack to pick up an order for delivery prior to my order being delivered.”

While the driver was friendly enough, there was no proactive communication and again, had I not reached out to the driver, I would not have known about the issues they claimed were related to my late delivery. The Uber Eats driver mentioned a “possible” refund by Uber for the late delivery but the driver didn’t know if Uber Eats would refund or not. Upon listening to the driver, I utilized a popular map app and could not see any accidents or traffic backups in the area reported by the driver. This, too, gave me immediate pause for concern. I finally received my food over an hour late. The food was cold and upon biting into the food, I noticed the food tasted like a chemical, something very similar to dish detergent and it also had a hair in it as well. It was disgusting.

Long story short, I reached out, via chat, to Uber Eats multiple times about the problems with the order. In the process, I leaned that Uber Eats had disabled their customer service phone number of 800-253-9377 and when I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was denied the opportunity. Three Uber Eats customer service chat representatives cut my chat off abruptly starting they hoped they had solved my issue and then abruptly disappeared. I had not even finished telling the entire story about my order. At one point, the chat representative addressed an entirely different issue than the one I contacted them about at the time. I had to direct the representative to reread the chat for an appropriate customer service response to my issue.

Later in the evening, Uber Eats messaged me back and asked that I submit photos of the food, which I did. I also photo copied the receipts and submitted those as well. Then they requested a photo of the actual hair in the food… Unfortunately, I had bit into the food, hair in tow, while it tasted like a chemical, so the hair could not be retrieved. I had to once again and after multiple times, explain this to Uber Eats, along with a chat discussion of the late delivery as well as the multiple delivery and tip charges on my single order to the same restaurant. Uber Eats did absolutely nothing to address the issue and instead, continued to issue boiler plate statements through the chat. No refund was issued. The boiler plate language was, at best, inappropriate, given the numerous issues experienced with the same order.

Needless to say, I highly recommend that you consider any and all alternative delivery options, if at all possible. The Uber Eats customer service experience was absolutely terrible. Please trust your time and hard-earned money elsewhere. Read the reviews about this company and proceed lightly, if you choose to use their service. It’s not nearly worth the headache, loss of your precious time and money should things go south. They simply do not care about the customer.

Trying the phone number provided by UberEats 4 times with no answer. The app showed that the order had been delivered but no photo. Contacted UberEats told them that I never received the order and requested a credit or refund. UberEats customer service took 12 hours to email me that the driver stated that he tried to call me therefore I was not eligible for either. So I spent $27 for a 70th birthday treat for myself that I never received and am forced to pay for. I order online from GrubHub, InstaCart and Amazon Whole Foods all the time and they are always quick to respond with a credit or refund if there is an issue of missing or not received items (which is rare). I lost $27 on 8/9/2025 but UberEats lost a customer forever.

I’m deeply disappointed with the lack of customer service and loyalty I experienced with Uber Eats. I used the app for the first time to order groceries because I wasn’t feeling well. I ordered 7 items, including eggs and a pineapple. When the order arrived to my home the eggs were placed in the same bag as the pineapple, they broke in transit, and raw egg was all over the pineapple. I immediately tried to contact customer service through the app, but no one responded that night at 10:00pm. By the time I was finally able to chat with someone the next day (while at work), I hadn’t had a chance to take a photo. I told the representative I would send one as soon as I got home.

Once I sent the photo after work, I was told that only the eggs could be and not the pineapple. I explained that raw egg had spilled all over the pineapple, which is clearly a food safety issue (cross-contamination), and that I couldn’t use it either. Instead of listening, the rep repeated the same message and then ended the chat. To make matters worse, when I contacted Target they told me they’ve been receiving a lot of similar complaints about orders through Uber Eats. Is this really how Uber trains its customer service team? To dismiss genuine concerns, ignore food safety issues, and end conversations abruptly? I’m not just upset about the few dollars, I’m upset about the complete lack of empathy, accountability, and understanding. I expected better.

Uber Eats in the NY Hamptons area is poorly staffed and managed, and its customer service complaint system is intentionally irresponsible. On June 6, I used my Uber App to order two burgers and onion rings from the Club House, one of our favorite restaurants. I believe that the original "no later than time" was 35 or 45 minutes. This was twice rolled back. The food was delivered approximately an hour and one half after originally ordered. It was too cold to eat. I gave it back to the driver to return. The driver's excuse was problematic. He said that he was in Sag Harbor when called. On this date and time, Sag Harbor and the Club House are only 15 minutes apart and t he Club House is 10 minutes from my house.

I called the Club House owner. He checked his records and said that the food had been prepared as scheduled for the original pick-up time, but was picked up late. He gave me the phone number Uber provided him for delivery complaints. He said that Uber Eats' practice was to give customers a credit for late food deliveries. I called the number. It no longer accepted complaints and directed me to a website. There is no way that a website complaint about late food can be timely addressed. Also, the complaint web page is hidden, hard to locate, and obtuse to use.

I called the owner and told him that the complaint phone number was no longer active. He offered to call his "merchant" compliant number. He called me to share that that merchant complaint answer system required that he leave his number for a call back. He later called me again to share that Uber had argued with him about refunds for food delivered late and cold, but eventually agreed to give me a refund because he was complaining as a merchant.

I have checked my Uber Eats app and credit card record and cannot locate the promised credit. I did not receive a notice from Uber Eats apologizing for poor device and/or advising me of its crediting my app or credit card accounts. Instead, Uber Eats sent me an email falsely stating that my complaint had been addressed. I have twice since written Uber Eats to restate my original complaint and add the second compliant about its mistreatment of the merchant's and my complaints. Each time UberEats has responded with its inaccurate assertion that the matter has been resolved.

Extremely Disappointed with Uber Eats Customer Service. I placed a simple order through Uber Eats from a restaurant just 10 minutes away from my home. Everything seemed fine until I got to the checkout and saw a shocking estimated delivery time over two and a half hours. That’s unacceptable for a local order, especially from a restaurant I frequent regularly. Naturally, I tried to cancel the order. But Uber Eats wanted to charge me full price for food that wouldn’t arrive until hours later. I reached out to customer service to explain the situation. The first rep argued with me, insisting that a 2.5 hour wait was somehow “within normal delivery time.” When I pointed out the actual timeframes (4:15 PM order, 6:30 PM delivery), he dismissed my concerns, called me petty, and disconnected the call.

I called back and got another rep more polite, but still unwilling to resolve the issue. No flexibility. No accountability. Just a shrug and a script. I use other delivery apps regularly, and this level of service is unacceptable. I also plan to notify American Express, as they recommend Uber Eats and provide monthly credits for it. Based on this experience, I don’t believe this is a service they should stand behind. If you value your time, money, or basic customer respect look elsewhere.

There’s no way the kitchen began making the food in under a minute, especially that close to closing time. Uber’s practices here are deceptive, misleading, and exploitative. Customers should be fully aware of what they're being charged before committing to a payment—not after. Be cautious when ordering from Uber Eats, especially if you’re considering canceling due to their astronomical hidden fees.

We use(d) Uber Eats to order at Costco. The prices you think you are paying for each item in your cart will be marked up $1-$2 extra, without you knowing. There is also the "service fee" and "delivery fee," already stated. Customer service says, "sorry" not sorry. When asked how to know about these added costs to each item before I buy them, they cannot tell me. It's a huge SCAM! For example, you think you are paying the original listed price of $26.14 for your salmon but your final digital receipt says it is $29.46 AFTER you already paid for it. There is no way to know how much per item they will add until after delivery. They tried to blame the delivery guy as well. Watch out!

I placed an order through Uber Eats for food delivery. I had made a mistake in the order that involved a food allergy, so I immediately requested to cancel the order through the app. Then I was told, AFTER canceling, that I would be charged the full amount for the food, $70.36. I contacted support through the app to let them know it was a mistaken order. I was not given the option to reinstate the order, nor was I given any possibility of even a partial refund. The customer service agent over the app wrote: "You were charged a cancellation fee because it was canceled after the restaurant had already started to prepare it." I then called the restaurant to confirm if this were the case, because if so, I wanted the food that I was already paying for.

I was told they had not started preparing my order, that they were not able to reinstate the order on their end, AND that they had not received any payment from Uber Eats to compensate them for their time. I tried customer service over the app, which responded with the same stock answers as before, leading me to conclude it was a bot. I then called Uber Eats customer support, thinking there was an error in their system. I was told that their cancellation policy is to charge in full if an order has been "accepted" (not what I was told in the app). They were unwilling to reinstate the order or refund the order and assured me the restaurant would be paid the full cancellation fee of $70.36. I followed up with the restaurant owner and was told they were not paid anything.

This feels like clear customer fraud. There was no way to reverse a mistaken order; I was not warned that I would be charged the full amount if it were cancelled, and once cancelled, there was no way to un-cancel and reinstate. Furthermore, the restaurant did not receive the $70.36 as says. I would like Uber investigated for fraudulently cheating customers through this inconsistent, unfair, and misleading cancellation policy.

On 2/15, I placed an order through the Uber Eats app. Within one minute, I realized there was an issue and immediately canceled it. Despite canceling almost instantly, I was still charged in full. I reached out to customer service via chat, expecting a reasonable resolution, but was met with robotic, unhelpful responses that essentially stated, “We can’t help you.”

The agent claimed that if a restaurant accepts the order, I am charged, even though Uber Eats’ own website states that charges only apply when the merchant starts preparing the order. It is impossible for a restaurant to begin making food within a single minute, making this charge completely unjustified. This kind of deceptive policy and lack of genuine customer support is unacceptable. I urge Consumer Affairs to investigate Uber Eats’ misleading cancellation practices and lack of accountability in customer service. Thank you for your time and assistance.

Despite the fact that the Ubereats service usually, eventually works, there are several problems I have with this service:

    1. Inability to cancel, once process gets too far! But cancellation process seems overly complex, since it's not just a cancel button. apparently you have to use some kind of chat.

    2. Uber website doesn't even have a contact page or link. I had to search the web, to find a way to reach Ubereats & looks like they only have a phone number; meaning long waits, since everyone using same option.

    3. No ability, up front, to NOT provide a tip to the driver, even though there are also other delivery fees!

    4. If driver service less than acceptable, only way to acknowledge this is by filling out form at the end of the process, where we are able to rate the driver and the store we ordered from. With this form, you can give a thumbs down and reduce tip, IF the form is available! But, after last order, I did NOT get this option; and, so, driver got away with full tip, even though I had planned to NOT give him a tip.

    5. There appears to be NO questions in form allowing customers to review Ubereats performance! I guess Ubereats assumes that there service is always perfect and can't possibly be improved, which is amazingly arrogant!

    6. Since Ubereats is just a middle-man between customer, driver & store, Ubereats clearly doesn't want to be involved! They just want to collect fees for the service! But, if so, seems like they would work very hard to ensure they provide ways to contact the driver or the vendor. But Ubereats doesn't provide any phone numbers, contact names or any way to reach the vendor! And seems like only SOMETIMES will I see a phone number for the driver!

    7. Today, I had to use web to find phone number for the vendor & tried calling. But, by then, shopping was already finished; so too late to provide shopping details that I should have been able to provide, when I submitted order! Therefore, just like Ubereats provides text field for delivery instructions for the driver, why, in God's name, wouldn't they do the same for the vendor? I wanted to provide details regarding expiration dates & about my preference, if desired items not available: I did NOT want shopper to simply replace with something similar. But, again, no way to get this info to the vendor!

Unfortunately, many other minor issues that I won't even bother going into! When I got a chance to talk to Ubereats, after explaining all of the above, the agent seemed to conclude that I was upset with the driver or something! But, no. The problem was my inability to reach the driver, since Ubereats didn't provide any way to do this!

In this case, driver wasn't reading or replying to texts sent, which is at least a standard way to reach out to the driver. BUT this only works, if/when the texts are actually read by the driver! In this case, I sent more than 4 texts, and none of them got read! So, again, Ubereats needs to figure out how to be a better company! If they want to put all of the pressure on the driver and the vendor, in terms of service quality, then they need to do a lot more work, to ensure the customer is able to appropriately and reliably interface with the driver and vendor!

Driver more or less forced me to follow procedure and give him a PIN for my order! And, so, I eventually complied! But why is the customer always expected to do their part, even when and while others FAIL to do their part! I wanted to talk to driver, before he left the store, but I couldn't do that! So why should the driver get what he wants, but the customer can't??

If you can come to terms with the higher food costs and various fees associated with this app, you can enjoy an excellent convenience service. But get ready to pay an average price of about ten bucks more for your food instead of driving the two miles to the drive-through yourself or dining in and paying onsite. The issue I have when using this service is that they incentivize tips. Many problems arise when they do this.

I don't think tip amounts should be shown to drivers until AFTER they've performed the service. Tips are EARNED. They should not be automatically given to supplement incomes, but unfortunately, the tipping culture is changing. This puts the responsibility of fair wages on the consumer and not the company. So, to adapt to these changing tip trends, I've had to leave the maximum amount posted at the beginning of the order to ensure that my food order comes accurately, to the right place, and on time. Then, I'm forced to adjust the tip amount AFTER the order is delivered to reflect the quality of service I got. It's a hassle sometimes to remember to go back in to adjust the tip. In my opinion, this way of doing things benefits the company and drivers, but the customer, not so much.

Uber Eats has demonstrated a complete lack of care for its customers while enabling its Delivery Partners to scam users without consequence. Here’s my experience: The delivery person never rang the doorbell—something every other delivery service manages to do without fail. Instead, they marked the order as “delivered,” even though I never received the food. Attempts to contact the driver were futile—they ignored calls, messages or would be unresponsive in a call. I even went outside multiple times to search for the driver, when the driver called for pick-up, but they were nowhere to be found. The restaurant confirmed that the food was picked up, which clearly places the issue on the driver.

Despite providing clear evidence, including call logs, showing my efforts to resolve the situation, Uber Eats refuses to issue a refund. Their support team only sends generic, robotic responses, avoiding accountability entirely. As a customer, I am appalled by this treatment. I will never use Uber Eats again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting this platform. Many of the positive reviews here are suspiciously over-the-top, filled with excessive superlatives, and seem blatantly fake—likely an attempt to prop up their brand image.

This New Year's Eve, Uber Eats turned my dinner plans into a nightmare. I placed an order on the app for pickup at a restaurant that, according to them, was open and accepting orders. I left my family at home and drove to the restaurant, only to find it CLOSED. CLOSED! On New Year's Eve. But it doesn't end there. I contacted Uber Eats customer service and encountered the most insensitive and unhelpful response I have ever received. Not only did they refuse to take responsibility for their app's mistake, but they closed my case over and over again without providing any solution.

After numerous attempts to contact them, all I received were automated and evasive responses. I felt completely ignored and abandoned. Uber Eats ruined my New Year's Eve and demonstrated an appalling lack of empathy and professionalism.
    In short:
    * Misleading information on the app: They showed a closed restaurant as open.
    * Waste of time and money: I had to drive on New Year's Eve for nothing.
    * TERRIBLE customer service: Automated responses, incompetence and insensitivity.
    * Zero accountability: They refused to acknowledge their mistake and offer a solution.

If you're looking for a reliable delivery service with good customer service, stay away from Uber Eats! My experience was disastrous and I don't want anyone else to go through the same.

I live in an apartment complex. I put in the instructions how to get to my building. Where it’s located. The building name and number and what my mat says (oh no not you again). So of course they bring it to the apartment of the building number which tells me they don’t pay attention to the instructions. I took out the building number and I got an attitude from a driver that I didn’t put the building number. So I put the building number back in the instructions and I sent the driver personal messages about which building is mine and the apartment number. They still screw it up which again tells me they don’t pay attention to the instructions.

Today my order was delivered to the wrong building altogether. I just got out of the shower and had to walk to the building in the cold with dripping wet hair to retrieve my food. Of course I took all these tips away from these drivers. A few weeks ago I ordered breakfast before work. I usually leave at 720 so I ordered it at 620. The food didn’t come until after 730. I had to race to work. It was supposed to be delivered by a girl Ashley. A guy shows up in a totally different car reeking of weed. It's drivers like them that give us good drivers a bad name. My uber one account expires soon and I will not be renewing. I will be moving on to another food delivery service. Ps I have pictures attached. Do either mat look like they say oh no not you again? The first picture isn’t even my building and yes we have signs on our buildings with the building names.

Ending the Chat Prematurely: Without confirming resolution or canceling my account, the representative closed the chat and left me feeling undervalued and unheard.

This experience has pissed me off and my trust in Uber Eats and Uber One is done. Their customer service is terrible and I can no longer rely on them. I’m taking my business to DoorDash or any other third-party service that values its customers and provides better service. If you’re considering Uber Eats or Uber One, think twice. My experience shows that even paying for premium service doesn’t guarantee fair treatment or adequate support.

Uber eats charged me double times for one single order I placed. Then after one month's of follow up with Uber, where they DO NOT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER FOR CUSTOMERS!! Only chat is available via app, which also DOES NOT WORK MOST TIMES. After few messages, they mention the charges will be reversed as its authorization hold, which is also a fraud term, because nothing got refunded and for one order I am still paying double the cost of my order, so DO NOT ORDER FROM UBER AT ALL.

As a first time user of Uber Eats I was highly disappointed in their customer service! I took advantage of an offer for 50% off any amount over $50, up to a $40 credit. As I was waiting for the shopper to shop my items it showed the credit on my total, but as we were going back and forth, communicating about which items she could replace or refund it ended up charging me the full amount, with no credit. I chatted with a customer service person but they said that I did not use the credit so there was nothing they could do. They said I could use the credit next time, but I asked them how I can be assured I will get the credit next time. They said if I don't they will fix it.

I asked why they couldn't just fix it this time. They ended the chat. So here I am paying the full price for groceries that had a huge markup to begin with, and was a huge waste of money. On a side note, I use Door Dash, Shipt, Instacart, and others and I have never had anything like this happen, and with such poor customer service. I do not recommend!

Absolutely worst food delivery service out there. Poorest customer service ever. Issues never get resolved. Tried via email, chat and phone! Nearly $50 on food that sat on a shelve in the restaurant ready for over two hours. This food is no longer safe to eat! Three different delivery people and it still took over two hours. Complaining was ZERO help and they refused to refund. Said I’d hear back from an escalation department. Never did! Money wasted. Will never use them again! Crooked company.

I logged in to my account and for some reason it registered a different address than my home. This was a $200 order. I immediately called the company and cancelled with Uber within 3 minutes of ordering. I called the restaurant and they directed me to cancel and reorder with correct address. 2 weeks later, I am reconciling accounts and see they charged me almost $400 that day for the ONE order that I received. I called to resolve with customer service and they say there is nothing they can do. They can clearly see the order was cancelled immediately. They could verify with Sonnys that they did not make both orders. They could do anything but they did nothing except stole $200 from a loyal customer. Beware. These people are thieves!

PS They don't give your tip directly to drivers, they use it as their hourly wage and compensate if they do not make enough from tips. Talk about a scam. They are using us to pay their labor. Complete crock of **.

I will never use Uber Eats again! I tried to order pizza after a long day of traveling and before I could get the address changed, they placed the order in a different state so when I cancelled the order to get them to change the address, they charged me for the full order of the one they placed in the wrong state! This all happened inside of 5 minutes and they stated that the restaurant had already filled the order which was humanly impossible. You can track their drivers but they can’t tell what state you’re ordering from? From my experience, Uber Eats is running a scam and probably rip people off 10’s of thousands of dollars a year with this nifty little tactic… I used Grub Hub after getting burned by Uber Eats and they demonstrated professionalism that is highly unlikely with Uber Eats… I’ll never use Uber Eats again!

I live in Miami Wynwood section and it is flooded with illegal aliens using American people's accounts to do Uber Eats. Most of them here do not have the right to be driving lest delivering food. Ask around in MIami, it cost $200 a week to rent out your account. Most the time, the person delivering the meal does not match the actual delivery person. They park illegally and cause a lot of traffic, confusion and we don't know who they really are to ever hold them accountable if things go awry. There is an Uber headquarters just blocks away and I know they know what's up and I don't knock them but the long term effect is apparent here. I feel for the American Uber drivers that have to compete with illegals to make a living in the USA.

My son turned 16 on 10/16/24. He was with his dad in Corvallis, which is 4 hours from me. I scheduled a Chipotle delivery thru DoorDash the night before and they never showed up. I immediately cancelled my subscription and got Uber eats. I sent him crumble cookies later in the day on his birthday and it went smoothly. The following day 10/17/24 I ordered him a birthday lunch from McDonald’s using Uber Eats. The quarter pounder w/bacon medium sized meal w/ a Coca Cola and also a Carmel frappe. They delivered the food, but neither of the drinks.

I messaged them and they said they would credit me $4.09 for the frappe drink and also for the coke. They refunded my uber eats account only the $4.09 and then Took it away 21 minutes later. The excuses I got were absurd. They said it was for the drivers too because I didn’t have enough in my uber wallet but funny that I used my debit card. Then they said the items' cost was $21.65 for just the meal and drink plus another $4.09 for a tip

When you call in they can care even less. Simple issues are complicated to them and although they are all foreign call centers and should provide you a means to get assistance either by email or phone, they refuse. They give you the bare minimum to rectify a wrong. They have zero common sense and cannot problem solve and the fees, taxes, etc you pay aren't considered when they rectify the situation, if they rectify the situation. I have an UBER ONE membership and it's pointless. They treat you like Garbage regardless. This needs some sort of consumer protection where we can get transferred into the US to get issues resolved without being hung up on. We pay too much money to get treated like that,

I am extremely upset and frustrated with the service I received from Uber Eats. I was charged $100 for an order that was never delivered to the correct location, and it seems as though Uber Eats has effectively stolen my money. The driver claimed to have left my order outside on the sidewalk, at a completely different pin location than the one I provided in the delivery instructions. No photo was provided to confirm the delivery, which is standard practice.

When I contacted customer support, I was met with blatant disregard. The agent, "Bon," not only refused to help resolve the situation but also refused to escalate my issue to a manager. I was told that someone would call me back "later," but when I asked for details—like who would be calling and when—the agent hung up on me. To make matters worse, no refund has been issued, and the $100 I spent on this order remains unaccounted for. This is unacceptable. I trusted Uber Eats to provide reliable service, and instead, I've encountered unprofessionalism and a complete lack of accountability. I expect immediate action on this matter, including a full refund and a proper investigation into the behavior of both the driver and the support agent.

After an order of almost €30, my delivery never came to my house. Sadly, which of course in cases like this helps them tremendously, Uber Eats doesn't have a telephone number. You can only contact them via their own platform and you'll have to wait. To put it short, Uber Eats believes that the delivery driver came (first lie), rang the bell 3 times (second lie) and phoned me (yet another lie). I have proof that they never ever called me AND that there was another person at home who also never got called or never heard a ring. Uber Eats won't give my money back, so basically I lost €30 because of this after being a customer for well over 2 years. Yeah, never EVER you should trust Uber Eats for deliveries. If there is even one slight moment of things going bad, they will leave you. 2 years of being a customer or not - they-don't-care. You be the judge if they're worth it.

If they want to make amends, start by offering people a friggin' telephone number. How on earth does a gigantic company like Uber don't have a number?! Also, stop lying. Just stop it. Admit it went wrong and just help people when needin' helping. If that would've been done, I would gladly be a customer for another 2 years. But because of this? No friggin' way I will ever come back. What a joke.

Customer support from India doesn't care. They were remotely tampering with the chat, by clearing my responses and not allowing me to state the issue when I reached out about it. Thankfully Paypal was able to resolve and refunded me the 40% discount which was removed after order was placed. Uber eats is a scam company. I deleted account after this.

If you order items from a restaurant an item was forgotten by the restaurant and confirmed but they let you know you need to contact Uber Eats for a refund for that item, you would think that should be an easy seamless process. No contact to the restaurant from UE to confirm, no refund. Just the same robotic response. No real customer service. Still waiting for my refund. Can’t wait to delete this app. DISGUSTING!!
