    I checked my Uber Eats driver account. I have 14 positive uber eats customer ratings and 4 negative. I have received tips from several satisfied uber eats customers. So why has uber deactivated my uber eats driver account, accusing me of low ratings, fraud, and abuse? Specifically what fraud and abuse is uber accusing me of? I committed no fraud or abuse!

    If anyone should be accused of fraud it is uber for enticing drivers with potentially good, fake earnings for deliveries, only to slash the fees that the drivers are actually paid. I was recently enticed by uber eats to make two deliveries in Beverly Hills, CA with nearly $20 in potential earnings, but the fee I was actually paid was only $6! Shame on uber!

    Uber Eats steals the tips from drivers, Customers in NYC & Westchester county I want You to know that when you tip a delivery person through the app the driver does not actually get the Tip like they are supposed to. Uber delivers should go into the wallet portion of the app hit the arrow on the right-hand side and scroll up to see what has been stolen from you. You will see missing trips, surges, incentive pay, and your missing tips, compare this to your earnings and like me maybe you're missing more than $800.00 Tips, check from the time you started to date and You will see the more runs you do the more they steal. When I contacted Uber the matter still remains unresolved, & part of the run around is that You have to send them screenshots of their App information that they already have, then they will tell You after 3 months that you are not getting any tips for the past present or future. Good luck filing taxes

    I had an issue delivering a Uber Eats to the customer, contact the customer and did not answer, try to return to the restaurant and did not accept the return and had to cancel the delivery leaving the customer without his order and unsatisfied. In addition attempted to contact Uber support and they are only open from Monday to Friday. In addition, the Uber app only gave me the option to cancel the delivery. In these cases, Uber Eats should be able to return the amount in full to the customer to avoid any issues.

    I have attempted numerous times to reach Uber Eats' Customer Service. It's IMPOSSIBLE! I've had non-deliveries, wrong deliveries, missing food, cold food... All non-edible! I've tried every possible means to get a refund, but Uber Eats provides no means to reach them. A while ago I was able to reach someone on a phone app, it's several days later. I've gone without eating as a result of their terrible service. The only way I'm able to get my refunds is to report Fraud to my bank. What makes my challenges more difficult is that I'm a senior citizen with a traumatic brain injury. Every encounter I have with UE leaves me hungry, frustrated and often in tears! They are out of ADA COMPLIANCE!

    I deliver with Uber Eats. Have been cheated out of money multiple times. This last time was told I would receive full far of $16.04 after I delivered order Uber canceled it and paid me only $6.00. Stay away from these crooks. I have been transferred 20 time on the phone for 2 1/2 hours. Keep getting transferred and hung up on. Use another service instead.

    I ordered from Checkers Restaurant Location 10711 W.7mile RD 11-29th-2021 at 12:34pm and the driver's profile showed a ** woman and the user name only showed the user name as "Wright". I'm watching the tracker and it says delivered. I immediately come to the door and see no one is there! The delivery driver left a picture of only the bag up close not showing it left on my actual porch because he never came to my home. I called the number and a ** man answers the phone not the lady displayed on the profile. I confront him about the order he hangs up on me repeatedly! He scammed me. Yes I received a refund but that's not the principle. That account needs to be investigated and prosecuted. The authorities should check the camera for this person at their drive thru around the time my order was picked up.

    Received ice cold food because driver was sent to 2 deliveries before mine. Wrote to customer support and all I get is automated replies from a robot telling me that this is the restaurant's fault and there’s nothing they can do. Clearly this is not the restaurant's fault. Very frustrating and impossible to actually speak to a human.

    Whenever these guys mess up, they place the cost on the customer, unless you go to 1000% effort, you simply lose your (almost non-existent) value for money to all types of nonsense, including but not limited: 1hr+ deliveries for simple 15 minute journeys, couriers driving past your location 4-5 times in a row before actually finally dropping food off, ice cold food/burnt food from the restaurants (*ahem* food safety please!!), food being swapped for other items without your permission and last, but worst of all - missing items (probably the worst and most common of all of the Uber Eats problem). The reason that the missing items point is the worst point is that you are literally just not compensated in any form for them not being provided. You get no sorry notification or call from anyone, you get no refund, you get no item swap. Seems too much, right? Wrong. It's not too bad for Uber Eats.

    Even if you calmly let them know, directly, about their transgressions, including such horrors as ice cold food and missing items with zero compense, they will simply copy paste a zero care response to you amounting to "too bad, go cry" rather than actually consider helping you out. The last problem I reported to them, took THIRTY SIX HOURS (lol imagine if I had waited for them to feed me rather than simply moved on, I'd be half dead!) for them to sort out. It was only when I eventually went nuclear, that they finally sucked it up and refunded me.

    Although, even then, they noted to me that this was a 'special exception'. Are you kidding me?! Missing food should be refunded as standard. Even if that was done each time, this would still be a 1 star company. Seriously. This company is the worst of the worst. No amount of expletives can accurately summarise the pain that comes from dealing with these people. Take your money elsewhere, such as directly to the restaurants. Most those small businesses need and appreciate the profits a lot more than these folks.

    I have ordered food time and time again with Uber Eats and should have learned 5 trips ago. The food is always cold. This last time, they offered a $2 extra priority order option which I thought would fix the issue. Nope, $2 extra and soggy fries and a cold burger.

    My very first time using Uber Eats yesterday and it showed the driver picking up food and on its way. All of sudden I received a message stating my order was canceled by support with no explanation what so ever money with a tip still taken out of my account. I will never use Uber Eats again!!!

    I'm a driver for UE and as of late we are still making $2.50 for some deliveries even it they're 15 or 20 minutes away. On top UE might only pay us half of the fare we agreed on before accepting the order. Basically UE are losing their better drivers because we can't afford to work for them. When customers don't tip us we know right away. That makes some drivers not care and gets customers their food whenever. On top some customers don't tip, then they want you to park your car, go upstairs and locate their apartment on the 12th floor all to give you a thumbs down and the initial $2.50 fare or 10 quarters.

    I've used Uber eats for the last 2 years, I've never had too much trouble. If I was missing food from an order it was always an easy refund. In the last few months they have gotten horrible! CS is a complete joke. Anyone who uses this app knows how hard it is to get help within the app, it is even more frustrating when the reps do not know how to help and they keep closing the chat window making you open another... and another... and another. I finally got pissed off enough to remove my CC from the app, unsubscribe to their ** and delete the app altogether! I'll never give them another penny.

    Ordered a pizza from Mellow Mushroom. Didn't receive a confirmation at all and canceled the order within 30 seconds after placing order due to delivery time. Uber sent an email saying that I was charged for the order that they allowed me to cancel. I will dispute the charge but, how many people have they stolen from?

    Uber Eats has been sending me multiple emails a day for months claiming to have an offer for a free first meal (up to a certain amount). I have tried these a few times, and every time after I have put together the order and put in my information, it says that my account is not eligible for promotions. At this point, it seems like they are doing this on purpose hoping I will pay full price since I already have an order together. This is definitely not the case. I will never be using them. Please do not fall for this either.

    In the past week my family has made several food delivery orders from Uber Eats that have been incorrect or not fulfilled that’s I felt this rating was needed. We are very busy household and our delivery services can be quite frequent and costly. Despite highly rated delivery drivers being advertised as our pick up drivers; several of my orders have NOT even been delivered.

    On 11/11/21 I made a late night order through my account Jessica **. The order was missing items and I correct items were delivered. On 11/12/21 I placed an order same account and delivery address and first I was advised that my order would arrive between 9:30-9:45am. Then I was advised at 9:17 that there was a delay and now my order would arrive at 9:50. Then I received a notices stating my item was delivered and to rate my order. Needless to say my order never arrived. Now for my incorrect offer on 11/11/21, today I was offered $5 however it was never applied to my order. Now I am being offered a full refund for the order this morning that was never fulfilled.

    My issue here is if no one is made accountable for this behavior it will continue and this is costly because for every credit card processed there are fees and we don’t receive those refunds for the fees. This should not be allowed to continue and something should be done about this. Uber eats should be required to show true ratings and penalize drivers for not fulfilling their deliveries since the rating system clearly IS NOT WORKING! I’m sure this issue won’t be taken seriously and don’t expect to be contacted… Maybe no one will even read this, but Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub are just corporate thieves!

    Absolutely the worst. Order food at 5 o’clock and at 6:10 the driver just canceled the order. Never called us. No explanation. Of course by this time it’ll be 8 o’clock by the time you eat. I suggest you do not use Uber Eats.

    THE WORST. I Placed an order at 8:00 pm for a delivery scheduled at 10:00 PM. At 11:15 PM I received a call from Ubereats telling me that the order was closed by mistake and the driver will be near my house within 10 minutes but cannot see the address. She got my address again and told me it will be there in 10 to 15 minutes. NEVER SHOWED UP and the order remains not canceled, which means that I will have to call the credit card company tomorrow and waste more time disputing the charge, NEVER AGAIN USE UBEREATS.

    I never even got food or was able to complete an order. I signed up because they said they had free delivery if you try it out their service. The first order I placed I was charged $15 for delivery and when I tried to cancel it they charged me for the food that I ordered! I never got the food and yet I was charged for it! What kind of racket is this? Run as fast as you can in the opposite direction! Never trust them and if I could give less than one star I would.

    Uber Eats does not care about its customer. Drivers do not check orders to ensure what they are picking up matches what was ordered. You end up getting half of your meal which ends up being cold by the time you get through to customer service letting them know the item is missing and all they do is refund you for items that were actually charged to you. Your mean and evening end up being ruined. I don't know what you get for the high Service Fee Uber Eats charges.

    First I was charged with a cancellation fee for a ride which never arrived, tried to contact the driver several times before canceling but couldn’t contact. Secondly got a completely wrong order from a wrong shop and when I tried to contact the delivery person it said the caller id is blocked, the only way I could complain was by e mails and got no replies for hours. Very disappointed with customer service. There are no any ways to contact and correct when such issues happen. Not gonna use any of Uber services hereafter. Not just once had to face such issues. Several times.

    I’ve been online today with a Halle B. I explain to her the situation with the food not being safe. It smelled bad and then I was missing another meal. She stated she will refund me $18.80 but what she also did was double charge me $18.80 because my card had an overdraft of $37. When I called the bank they told me that at 11:49 today I was double charged. When I reached out to them they kept telling me that they were refunding me the $18.80. But they weren’t listening to me as I told them they charged me twice for the same food. They need to refund me my $37 not $18:80 because you’re not doing me any favors by giving me back what I didn’t receive but then to take extra money to make it look like you’re giving me a refund.

    As I’m reading into these reviews I noticed there were other people who had the same issues but I’m not sure if they’ve gotten resolved because it looks like this is where they come to place the complaint. Says customer service isn’t truly helping. Someone please explain to me how is it possible. That I take time off from the kitchen and decide to order food through corporate that should really help us get our food handed to us in perfect handoff with nothing missing with food not being old or just pay attention to the order and not get charged twice. I’ve been fair. I tip besides the business taking drives fee for delivery. I expect to be treated with the same respect..

    First it's actually 0 stars. I order my food from a restaurant that is only 10 mins away. They gave me a 45min window that I was ok with. But after waiting a hour and a half I called the store and was told, "No one came to pick up your order." They also said Uber Eats is always late picking up food. So I decided to go pick up my food myself. When I arrived to the store the owner apologized and told me never to use Uber Eats. They are bad business and DoorDash is great! So after getting my food finally I went through the run around with uber eats CS line and was told a specialist will handle my order and email me the details. It's been 4 days. I haven't saw or heard anything. I pretty much paid them to pick up my own food! WORST COMPANY EVER for food delivery.

    On multiple occasions after I have placed an order to a restaurant with Uber Eats, and after waiting the entire time for when the food should be delivered, I get a cancellation notice. One time for no drivers available, most recent time today on Oct 9th, 2021 for unclear reason, the driver delivered to someone else! I am finally done with Uber Eats! I am canceling my account! In fact I hold stock in Uber! I will sell that at the most optimal time possible! I will cancel my Uber account as well! So long Uber!

    Hello, I've recently placed an order through Uber Eats and Then I canceled my order. My order was an expensive order so working in customer service you know you have to give the system and the bank time to process my refund right so I message Uber Eats customer support just to be told "Oh well. Better luck next time." And it isn't right. I'll never order from the app again until some changes are made. Uber Eats is overpriced and they don't value their customers.

    10/01/01 5pm pickup from Ft. Worth, TX. Jacksboro Hwy & River Oaks Blvd. When delivered I was sitting on couch looking out on porch, I saw a small child that tripped and got up and ran off, the drinks had been spilled and food smashed, by the time I got up to see her getting in a car with female driver who sent her child to do her job, I was concerned about the child not drinks or food, no option for any info on driver and impossible to call Uber Eats or file complaint. To me this was putting her child in danger doing her job. Driver needs to be fired.

    I placed an order on 9-26-21. I hadn't ordered for a year and afterward I remembered why. They sent me a $20 off coupon on any order of $35+. I placed my order and the next day they added extra charges including a tip of $11.36 for an order that I had placed a YEAR ago! They called it an updated invoice and thanked me. I contacted them but no response and there is no way to delete the charge. I will NEVER order from UberEats again!!!

    I have used UberEats to order take-out from Filiberto's Mexican food. I have ordered the same thing twice; And in neither case did they follow instructions, In both cases, they covered the item with something I am allergic to so I was unable to eat the meal. I contacted UberEats and they never replied! I will not be using either service again. UberEats terrible customer service GrubHub, much better! Filiberto's does not read instructions in a location with a lot of decent choices, chose an alternative restaurant.

    I will resume my story and experience with this Uber Eats as a driver, the worst ever. Thanks God, I was smart enough to don’t waste my time, gas, miles and myself with this scammers' mafia. They steal people’s money with a lot of bla bla bla, that is disrespectful to people. I gave this garbage stealers a try after I heard so bad about them regarding payments. My only 5 or 6 deliveries I did with Uber Eats, were a disaster. We received an offer on our phones and we accept it if we want to with the expectation to be paid in full after the delivery.

    My first two were confusing since I was not used to the app. I didn’t want to make any mistake and I wanted to get to the customer the sooner as possible. I tried to contact customer service since they say that they have a phone one. No one attend your needs. It doesn’t exist. It’s all a scam to get people’s money or at least the more they can. They offer a chatting that it’s not even live with people that seems to be I’m in another country. You can have an emergency with an order and nobody is going to assist you until next day or days later with a stupid work of word that doesn’t solve anything.

    I did 3 deliveries and last ones and they stole 3 dollars from my payment and whoever is sending emails or chats that never is in real time with me, I vent that my payments is good due my estimate time and customer tips and all those lies. Who is going to believe that someone is going to tip after they ate their food and went to sleep? People generally tip in the Beginning when they place the orders or they just don’t tip. I get that This Uber Eats still has people that believe in them because people needs the extra income. To me they are a mafia of liars that I don’t know how still they are allowed to make money out of people. All my 5 or 6 deliveries with them, I’ve always had to claim my full payment. I’m done with that garbage of stealers and I hope they go out of business soon.

    The food paper bag that was delivered to me was tampered with. The seal was broken. The boxes inside could very easily have been opened and the food inside accessed. I don't see any reason why the seal was torn open before delivery. Can someone please explain?

    I place an order for dinner on Uber Eats. All seemed well. Delivery was supposed to be within 50 minutes. After it's already late, I log in to try to find out how far away it was, and with some difficulty found the order had been cancelled 10 minutes after I placed it. OK, maybe the restaurant did, maybe they couldn't find a delivery driver, whatever. BUT I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED. Here my family is waiting for a meal that is never going to arrive, no email, no text, no phone call. Worst customer service I've ever experienced from a delivery company, and I'll not ever try to use them again. There are other choices out there!

    I have made an order of 37 pounds this week for 4 menus out of which I have received only 1. The restaurant did not pick up my phone calls and when I reported the missing items to you, you refunded only 10 pounds which is less than half of the value of the missing items. I have emailed and nobody answered, I enquired via the app and was told that because the order was over 48 hours, I would not receive a further refund. I paid, did not receive the items, told you straight after and the fact that it took you 48 hours to respond somehow means that you can keep your customer’s money. My chat line has been closed and nobody will do anything but send the same automatic reply. Needless to say that I will never use Uber Eats again, this is stealing.

    Normally I'm ok using the app to contact customer service, but not when I have an issue that requires immediate assistance. Not offering a phone support line is cheap, unethical, and very lazy on Uber's part (there is a number if you search the net wide... and I mean wide, but it's an answering service that instructs you to use the app then hangs up on you). Email - no reply also. Crucial components of my order were missing. Not sure if I'll be getting a refund, hours later still waiting to hear back from their not so helpful app "support". Very UNenjoyable meals, lacking the very thing that makes them, and no way to get help on the spot when I needed it. Instead, left to source food elsewhere or eat substandard, full-priced meals, whilst feeling ripped off without suitable recourse.

    To start off I wouldn't even give this app a one star or any star at all on how bad they handle their customer service and app. I made an order to come to my home and somehow they used a different address. I took screenshots of the change in address. I did and a screenshot of my order once made bcs I have had other issues with this app in the past. I tried to get in touch with the driver. Well the driver refused to change the address. Well since that was not working I quickly went to Uber Eats to ask them to refund my money before this driver placed complete on my order. Well UBER EATS refused to refund me my money and or tip for this discrepancy and stated that I should make another order why would I waste money again if I never got my meal. I have screenshots of every thing bcs somehow I knew this app was going to act up.

    I noticed that when I place and order thru this faulty and unprofessional app that it send the driver to another location so I tend to call the drivers to make sure I route them but this time the driver refused and UBER EATS refused to help and stated there is nothing they can do bcs the driver put he completed the order. So now this theft driver and UBER made $27 on a meal out of my pocket and the driver had dinner on me and even a tip to eat it my food. I will be deleting this app and will make sure everyone around me knows about this unprofessional app. This is pretty much theft on it own. Careful ya don't use this app for your food delivery options.

    I will no longer consider this app at all. Even if I do not receive my refund I will make sure to post on every review platform if I have to. So that I can spread a WARNING on this app for people safety. Mind you I have found a few transactions not made by me that I am now disputing with my bank on. If this would not have happened I would have not realize that they are also fraudulently doing transactions on my account>> WARNING. BE CAREFUL.

    Warning: Uber Eats is stealing my payment information - I keep getting calls from my Discover card company that uber is trying [once again] to charge fraudulent orders to my discover card. What is even worse is that uber eats has absolutely no way of making contact with them to report this matter to uber eats. Use uber eats at your own risk

    DON'T ORDER FROM THEM. THEY ARE DISHONEST. I ordered food. They sent to wrong address. The order was canceled. I was told I would get a refund. It's been an argument ever since. Good luck trying to get a hold of a person. The numbers that are there there's no option to get a live person. All you're given different numbers that lead to more dead ends. If you do get ahold of a person you'll be talked over, you'll be put on hold and you'll be transferred a hundred times. These people are dishonest.

    The Driver Canceled our order and didn’t notify us. The app didn’t send a notification either. I waited an hour for the food and open the app to see it was cancelled and it did not even say why. Only that we would not be charged but I am still waiting to see if that’s the case.

    Just trying to get food, but the “next” button on the app is greyed out. Can’t choose a payment option. I added my credit card but it won’t let me use it? I have no way to order food. Complete failure. Uber is a garbage company, I hope it goes out of business. Will stick with Doordash.

    I received a promo coupon from Uber Eats in my email. As it was a great deal, I placed an order. The coupon was applied and confirmed at checkout. My bank account was charged the full amount with no coupon ($20 value). As someone who doesn't have extra money lying around, this caused issues with my bank account and Uber's response was we will refund the $20 in 3-5 days and thanks for the feedback. Will not be using this company again.

    I've never had the urge to write a bad review for a company, but Uber Eats has crossed the line. As others have reported their customer service is terrible and all the company cares about is making money. Unfortunately, there has been two bad experiences that will withdraw me from ever doing business with the company again and I hope others follow suit.

    The first incident was nearly $50 of food that was delivered to the wrong location. It was a late working night and I couldn't even eat because of this. Simply wanted a refund or credit but the company refused either. The second dilemma was very frustrating as well. Ordered ice cream for my family and I, via the app and they were preparing my food for over an hour. To the point where the restaurant was closed and the ordered was still being prepared 45 min past closing time. I canceled the order knowing there's no feasible way for the food to get to me.

    Without surprise their support did nothing for and was told I didn't cancel within the first five minutes of the order being placed, there's nothing they can do. So two meals I never had and was still charged. The company could care less about its customers. DoorDash is much more caring and kudos to them, as myself and friends have had issues before and they actually lend a helping hand. I hope this message reaches people and they can avoid wasting their time.

    I ordered Jersey Mike's the other evening and was delivered Cold Stone Creamery. I didn't realize until I was inside and by then, the driver was gone. They make it near impossible get a hold of them to let them know! I tipped this driver very well and I am so bummed that this all happened, and they claim I cannot get a refund because I did not submit within 48 hours. Well, if their site was easier to manage and would work correctly, I would have been on time. Never again!!!

    I attended a virtual conference this past week that had me at my computer for the entire day everyday. I had little time to eat and no time to cook so I ordered just about everyday. On 3 CONSECUTIVE DAYS the UberEats drivers went to the wrong place. I wrote clear, simple directions that they refuse to read. My apartment door is INSIDE and door they keep going to is OUTSIDE. So I wrote that in the instructions and ask them to ring my door bell to confirm recipient.

    On Friday he didn't read the directions, left my order AT THE WRONG DOOR but I called before he left the property so he went back and got it before it was opened. The second day he didn't read the instructions, but I caught him before he left my food OUTSIDE at the wrong door. Tonight when I saw that he was going to the wrong door again I called BEFORE HE GAVE MY FOOD AWAY and texted several times before the car stopped. He didn't answer my calls and ignored the texts letting him know that he was not at my apartment complex and AFTER trying to call and texting HE GAVE MY FOOD AWAY.

    Yes, I got a refund (that will come in a few days) but it was 5:30 p.m. I had been working and hadn't eaten all day and was light headed. The remedy should be a refund AND delivery of my order even if it's late along with an apology FROM THE DRIVER and an explanation of why he chose not to answer my calls or read the directions. UBER EATS NEEDS TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS since they can't get people who can or will READ!!!! YES, I’m angry, I’m hungry!!

    5 minutes after the app said my order was delivered, and it wasn't. No call from the driver, just no delivery. I started the refund process. I received a refund for the food but they will not refund the tip. Makes a lot of sense right? Won't use again.

    I've used Uber for trips a lot in the past, though I've had problems with those, too, just not related to the service--only a few of the drivers. Trying Uber Eats, I thought it couldn't be that different than any other delivery service. I was very, very wrong. I signed up for Uber Eats Pass, thinking I could save some money. My first order was fine...until I realized they charged me a "subtotal adjustment" of $18.19 on a $37.80 order. I couldn't believe it. Nothing in my order was changed, so that couldn't explain the charge. There's no way to contact customer service, which means they have no customer service. You have to use the "Help" in the app, but what good is that when we're talking about food delivery? If there's an issue, you need help right away, not hours or days after your order.

    I had to wait until the following day to get a response, and then the response was: "Can you please provide details?" Which tells me their pathetic app can't even link to the order. So I did. I waited several more hours. In the reply I received, no explanation was provided except something to the effect of "these things happen sometimes," no refund was offered, and then the "priority support" agent had the gall to thank me for being a Gold member. Well, here's the thing: I'm no longer a Gold member. I immediately deleted my Uber account and filed a complaint with the BBB for my refund. Although there aren't a lot of choices with rideshare services, I'll take my chances with Lyft. Maybe Lyft will actually bother to treat me like they value my patronage. P.S. I didn't even get my 5% discount, which I was supposed to receive for signing up with Uber Eats Pass. How pathetic is that?

    I reported sexual harassment in March 2020 after delivering to a man's hotel room and was deactivated right after making a report. I was told deactivation was from poor ratings but I received two emails Thanking me for excellent ratings the same week. I was told that a report was made yet there is none recorded. I have called and emailed but nothing was addressed. Why punish the victim driver and not the perpetrator customer? It's easier to deal with and silence? What an unethical company.

    First, I couldn't even use my phone number to login and none of my emails were on record to reset the password. They don't allow password reset text messages to your phone and somebody must've used my number. If you send in a ticket in the morning, but don't expect to be able to order your food that day. I ended up having my brother create an account so we can order some food. At the checkout, our first time promotion disappeared from our cart. We can't reapply it, the system says it's been already used, despite having no previous orders.

    I'm a loyal Uber Eats customer. I use them to order from my favorite restaurant The Crab Boil all of the time. I started my order, but realized that I might have rewards available to help pay for the high delivery cost. I left my cart and entered the rewards hub. When I returned from the rewards hub. My original cart was gone. I proceeded to start my order over.

    At checkout my order duplicated. I attempted to contact support. They purposely take forever to respond. Even though obviously a computer error occured on their end. The agent explained that once the restaurant receives the order it can't be canceled. This is a lie. I've had the wrong order delivered to me previously, and was able to cancel. Why would I place the same order with two separate drivers to the same address. The agent refused to cancel or refund my money for the second order. The second order was never even delivered to my address. If the charges for the duplicate order aren't refunded. I will deactivate the app and never use Ubereats again.

    I placed my order for 2 Starbucks coffees. Total cost if I had bought them myself would have been about $14. I paid $17 for the privilege to have them delivered. Here I sit 3 hours later, with a message that my coffee was already delivered, no history of a text, email, or phone call or image to prove they had any contact with me past them taking my money. Go online, enter that it wasn't delivered and they will refund me for $4 less than I spent on the whole experience but not for 10 days. As a business model, taking peoples money, apologizing for not delivering and then refund them 90% of what they paid in 10 business days, it could totally work, but then you will end up with 1 star review on most review sites... Honestly, shame on me for not looking first... but shame on Uber for being a scam.

    This is the worst app ever. I only needed to update my phone number so I can drive and they sent me about 20 emails asking same thing over and over and blocked me out of my other customer accounts. In the process they employ bunch of unprofessional smicks who don't speak English and don't know what they are doing. I did my 1st 2 deliveries. They showed me payout of 16 dollars. After I delivered they only paid 10!!!! This is literal fraud and scam. How do they get to operate business in the US???? When I attempted to cash out they blocked me from the app again. Asked to reset my password for the 4th time. After I did that they blocked me completely. I can't even log in. These people are insane!!!! I am in utter shock at all this. I have never dealt with worst app or employees in my entire life. This app needs to be shut down immediately.

    I made a purchase for $26.67 on Friday 5/28/21. I gave a tip of $3.00 on the Uber Eats app. The next day I went to make a purchase with the card I used for Uber Eats and it was declined!! Went online to look at my account and they had a hold for $24.00 and another amount for $50.67!!! Tried to contact customer service and about 10 people responded with nonsense. They said I gave a tip of $29.00. They said the holds should fall in some days. They are crooks. Be careful. Never Tip on the app!!!! Watch your bank account for 2 or more holds. Just remember Never tip online. They stole $29.00 from me and had my bank account in the negative and overdrawn... Be careful when dealing with them. I will never deal with them again.

    I purchased food from one of the restaurants they deliver from. The food was horrible. It was cold and just really, disgusting. I could not believe it, so I sent them a message and all they had to say was make sure to rate the restaurant. Are you kidding me? I spend $50 for food that was inedible and all I got was too bad, so sad? Nothing, except make sure to rate them. I am out $50 and they provided no service whatsoever and when you look at all the reviews on all of these websites, you find that their service level is 95% 1 star ratings. How can they continue to get away with this? How can they continue to steal from so many people and no one has said a word? I am never using their service again. They got me for $50, that's it, but I strongly suggest you not use this company. They will steal your money and have no conscience whatsoever about it.

    I ordered two fresh juices with no ice. They both came watery and filled with ice. Being sick, I specifically made sure to untick the ice box on the menus. I asked for a refund because I couldn't drink those drinks. Every time I had a question throughout the conversation it changed customer care people 3 times in the 5 min conversation.. absolutely ridiculous. And they denied my request.     My delivery was pushed back 3 times due to Uber driver issues, it was cold by the time I received it. This is not the first time, they seem to always do that, either it's cold by the time you get it or it's the totally wrong order entirely, I contact their customer service as I should and they stated that because I have made other contacts to them regarding other delivery issues, they can't refund my money, the issue isn't on me, it's on them and their drivers. If I could grade them "No Stars" I would.

    I placed an order with Uber eats. There was nowhere for me to add condiments in the app, so after placing the order, I called the location I ordered from. I spoke with the manager named Linda, and she explained that they always have issues with people placing orders through uber eats. She told me they always get the orders placed through Door dash. She also stated that she did not see an order for me. All of this transpired over the course of 40 minutes. So I immediately tried to cancel my order. Uber eats says they give you the option to cancel, but there was no option available. I clicked the chat with us button to chat with someone, and they kept stating they were having technical difficulties and asked me to wait 2-3 minutes to resolve the issue. Nothing was resolved. I paid through my Paypal account and will dispute the transaction.

    I place a chicken order at local chicken only to be called by driver after 40 some mins. That they were out of chicken and was going to cancel order. Meantime I ordered from another company. Then I got 3 other phone calls and on all of them I told the what I have written above. I tried contacting customer service, phone number was worthless, app help was worthless and NO OTHER way to contact customer service, no email, no alternate phone numbers, etc. Meantime doorbell rings and my original chicken order was there. Again couldn't contact customer service. 20 mins after that my backup order was delivered. This was very 1st Uber Eats order that I tried. I WILL NEVER USE THIS CRAP EXCUSE FOR A COMPANY.

    I tried for 1/2 hr to cancel order. The promotion code did not work so I tried to cancel. I even called the restaurant and they had not received the order yet. So I should of been able to cancel. 1/2 hr later restaurant called and said it just came in. I felt bad for the restaurant and said just send it because I cannot cancel it on my phone app or computer. I will never do business with Uber in any form and will tell as many people to stay away. Use Door Dash, I have never had a problem with them. It was just the Promo code giving me 30 dollars off. What a scam. I will Disrupt with my credit card company as soon as it clears.

    I place an order for lunch at 11:40 am and paid for priority delivery which changed the time of delivery from 40-50 minutes to 20-25 minutes. I watched tracking of my delivery and 3 times there was a driver picking it up, 3 different drivers...It is now 1:00 pm and my order has not been picked up yet. If I cancel, not sure if I'll get my $ back. There's no way to contact support, just links on why it can be delayed. I should at least get my $ back for priority delivery...Ridiculous, I will never use Uber Eats again!!

    I ordered food via Uber Eats that was not delivered and no contact was made by the delivery person. I had paid for part of the order with Uber Cash and the rest via PayPal, including the tip. I disputed the order through Uber's mind-bogglingly terrible customer service system and eventually got a refund of the amount paid with Uber Cash and then disputed the charge via a Paypal claim for the rest, because Uber refused to refund that portion back to the original payment method (Paypal). Paypal eventually completed the claim and refunded me, but Uber kept the Paypal amount on record for that order as "unpaid".

    Therefore, when I took an Uber ride two weeks later, Uber automatically deducted the cost of the "unpaid" Uber Eats amount from my Uber Cash before it would authorize the payment of the ride. It effectively voided the legitimate refund that Paypal force it to give for an undelivered order. I had messaged Uber prior to the ride to try to fix the issue but heard nothing back. I have messaged them since the ride to try to get the refund resolved and have heard nothing back.

    I've used Uber Eats for well over a year now. The other night I told my mom to order food off of her account. We live in West Palm Beach FL and we have access to all kinds of food. We were having a few friends over for pizza and wings from a local establishment. We placed the order earlier in the day for it to be delivered at 8:30pm - at 8:30pm we got an alert saying our order had been cancelled, first I called the restaurant to ask them what had happened - the restaurant had told me that they made the food and an Uber driver came to pick it up and shortly after he picked it up HE cancelled the order on his end.

    I contacted customer support for Uber Eats demanding them for an explanation because at this point I am starting to believe this person just stole our order - 85$ worth of food. I asked if they knew who the driver was and they said yes, I demanded them for an explanation and they informed me that they were not able to reach the driver but not to worry because we were not charged for this order, I told him I was positive that their employee just stole food from us and us being charged was the least of my concerns and that us not being charged still wasn't sufficient enough considering we had people here expecting food and it's Friday night, not only that but this employee should not only be terminated but this is a serious offence, I was in the middle of sending a text when he said to me that I was no longer speaking to him and he was ending our chat - even though the 3 dots were up as I was tying.

    I have told everyone I know about this severe issue and I will not rest until it reaches the media. I have lost all of my faith in a company that stands behind employees and theft. I will personally never order with them again and I have spent over 200$ in the last 3 months with this company, being a 2.5 billion dollar company I know they do not care about that but they have lost a faithful customer who has a wide range of friends in South Florida. We are sick to our stomachs over this and I hope this employee is terminated if not prosecuted for this illegal activity.

Tried contacting driver but number didn't work then used app to contact support to get refund and still haven't heard back from them. I just want my money back for what I didn't get.     I had lost my job due to covid and decided hey why not deliver some food. The app is terrible to start off. I have never even gotten it to work or let me deliver. There is a defect in the app that denies my car. I have spoken with customer service and asked for managers and am denied every time. The customer service reps have no clue how to fix my issue, continue to torture me by endlessly putting me on hold and never fixing my problem. I have even been randomly just disconnected and then sent a follow up that say we're glad we were able to help you. WTF. You didn't help with anything and just hung up on me!? I'm deleting the app and will just use other services to deliver with.

    I ordered many times food from Uber Eats and most of the time everything was fine. Delivery time was good and had a good service from the delivery staff most of the time. Uber eats deliver from some restaurant that would not deliver otherwise which is great. What I did not like is that sometimes they do 3 deliveries at a time and it can take longer. Also that the customer support is nonexistent. There is no way to contact uber eats or if there is a way it is not stated anywhere in my cell phone app. Another problem is that sometimes they gave me free shipping when delivery was taking longer than the time they gave me but recently they gave me no free shipping. The language is not always in my language. I am French and sometimes things are in English. I have to remove 2 stars for those issues but I still appreciate uber eats even if it's not perfect.

    My husband has been working as an Uber Eats driver for more than a year at this point, and has always maintained a 4.8 star rating and above from consumers, and is more than willing to accept orders that are worth his time. He and I have spent extensive time trying to research the best ways to Uber, and best strategies which include being selective about which restaurants to pick up orders from (some have long lines/wait times, etc...), or to be selective with what orders are worth the time ($4 for 8 miles? Or decline that to get a $15, 7 mile offer? The choice is clear). We have spent a lot of time perfecting this as a craft, and it wasn’t until more recently, that the orders became an issue. My husband is worth more than a barrage of $2.50 orders, so he declines those because they are not worth the time.

    Uber’s so-called algorithm, is supposed to learn driver preferences, so that the orders that they receive are likely to be accepted. Of course, it’s not 100% accurate, and my husband will give Uber the occasional bone by accepting a lower, perhaps $5 order, to optimize his acceptance rate - but this is unbelievable. My husband is a Diamond-level driver, with an impressive track record of gastronomically satiated and satisfied customers. And he got thrown 10 consecutive <$4 orders for the last hour, and was demoted from receiving diamond-level benefits.

    Uber support is the equivalent to the air in a bag of Lay’s chips. They send you untimely responses, well, facsimiles of responses because they are just as effective as the air in a bag of Lay’s chips - appropriate metaphor for this salty air-filled company. If Uber actually cared about its drivers, they would spend more time and energy into optimizing the algorithm to send orders that drivers will accept.

    I ordered from Uber Eats but had to cancel the order immediately. I got an email cancellation confirmation so I assumed the charge would be taken off my card in 48 hours. When it wasn't removed, I contacted customer service, who told me that I have to contact them within 48 hours (same amount of time all OTHER companies need to remove something from your card) to get my money back. They didn't even offer a credit! It is obvious that they go around charging everyone's card, hoping they won't see it within the allotted amount of time. Shady business practice from a shady company! Don't use Uber eats if you don't like being robbed!

    I ordered lunch from them. They kept delaying the order every 15-30 minutes. At 45 minutes, I messaged driver. He didn’t respond. Another 30 minutes went by, he responded. But, then the order was canceled after another 30 minutes. It was too late to order anything else. I also couldn’t leave to go to a meeting... so I missed it and I missed lunch. They were going to refund, but I asked for a credit to my order also because of the late notice. They would only send canned responses and didn’t address my request at all. I also couldn’t give driver a bad review because the order was canceled.

    Placed an order. Got two notifications over the next hour that the order was delayed. Over two hours later, the order has been cancelled. I immediately start receiving auto-generated "we're soooo sorry - here's $10 on us"...like ten of them = $100. Well. Here we are two weeks later, I try to give Uber Eats one more chance, and all of the "Uber Cash" is gone. Apparently the fine print for the Uber Cash said "use within 7 days" and "only one per order can be used". Okay...right...like anyone is going to place 1-2 orders per day, especially after an experience like that. How dare a company own up to its mistake and then take back what they've given for the customer inconvenient. What a joke. Not to mention the fees.

    I drove for Uber Eats over the last 6 months. I had a 97% approval rating and had completed over 800 deliveries. I was permanently deleted today from driving due to “fraudulent activity.” I was told by their customer service to disregard these messages due to my excellent approval rating, and now I can no longer drive for them. No specific explanation besides I took too long between restaurant and delivery. Really?! Sometimes I even drove faster than I should to ensure a hot meal. Their customer service department is all outsourced out of the USA. This company is awful!!! Don’t work for them. No way to talk to anyone that understands and speaks English fluently.

    Uber Eats Pass app has an offer to use a first month trial for free so I went ahead and downloaded it and I was charged automatically. I send emails for 3 days already back and forth with reps asking to be reimbursed and sending a screenshot of their offer, it results they give me the money as an uber cash reimbursement which I could not use in an order for Uber Eats yesterday. Today I realized the cash reimbursement was not appearing in the app anymore, and now my bank account has 3 charges: 1 for the uber pass for a month, 1 for the meal I ordered (which is the only one that should appear), and another 3rd one for the difference of the meal minus the uber pass. Today I wrote to them for the fifth time since they are advertising false offers and finally I am reporting this to Consumer Affairs.

    Used UberEats to order food for pickup around 1:45 PM on Tuesday December 29. Original pickup time was 2:05. I watched the tracker continue with the "preparing food" status until 2:13. I called the restaurant to see if there was an issue and they told me they had not received any UberEats order, and suggested I try it again. I canceled the order and requested a refund because the restaurant said they did not receive that order. I contacted support and provided all of these details. It has now been almost 1 week since I reached out to support and I have gotten 3 canned responses ignoring my issue and refusing to refund because the order status was "preparing". I am looking into doing a chargeback with my bank and I will not be using UberEats again.

    An "Uber Eats" driver (ID: **/License Plate: Quebec **) refused to leave his car to deliver my order on Christmas Eve. I finally crossed the street, but he still refused to give me my order. (We now think I was baited by him because at the time of the incident, he bragged about how I was being taped by him.) He became very confrontational, threatening, harassing and provoking towards me, I think because I yelled at him from across the street to bring me my order. I was frightened & very confused why he was acting in this manner. He was a minority individual and untruthfully accused me of discrimination, prejudice and judgmental of his colour and Muslim faith. After I stood in the dark and freezing rain after lengthy hostile discussion outside of his car (1/2 hour), he finally handed over my order. I reported him to Uber because as an elderly woman, I felt VERY UNSAFE in this situation which is why I reported him to the Quebec police too.

    I used their free $25.00 in food promotion. Since I already had extensive past experience with CarGo without ever a problem, I thought I’d give UberEats a try. Their fees are outrageous, the food up charge at Arby’s is ridiculously high. The actual timing of my Friday night delivery was fine. The driver did take my picture holding my food without my consent to show proof of delivery. I’m 50 years old and never before in my entire life has ANYONE done this. I’m assuming it’s because UberEats is profiling/discriminating whenever delivering to a not so affluent area of town.

    UberEats refuses to address this issue after several attempts asking why. I already know why, because they know what they did was wrong and unlawful! The food wasn’t hot at all, I blame this more on Arby’s than I do UberEats. I know how credit authorizations work within the restaurant/delivery industry. It’s always more than the actual amount to leave open for a possible tip. In my case UberEats obtained two separate authorizations, I confirmed this with American Express, basically double charged. After numerous attempts complaining to UberEats about this, nothing happened. Not even a formal apology or goodwill gesture to try and correct a bad situation.

    As of today, still no answer for the profiling, no refund for the double charged, no apology and no goodwill gesture. Through American Express I got my money back. There are many delivery services out there, please utilize them before ever attempting to use UberEats. There’s a reason they’re running a $25.00 in free food promotion! They know their business sucks. I was willing to overlook the fact the delivery person wasn’t wearing a mask and he had a headlight out on his car, not professional, but what do you expect from a non professional company making poor choices! I tried to close my UberEats account on the app and through the website, not possible, so I simply deleted the app. I’ll stick with CarGo! I know I can trust them after over a year of problem free deliveries!

    Uber Eats was running a promotion, so I thought I’d give it a shot. Bottom line is that the food was never delivered. I saw the driver go by my house, turn in a neighbor's driveway, and then leave the street. He never called me, and when I tried to call him, the message back said “system error”. I have a very easy address to find, and receive 3 or 4 packages a week from Fedex and Amazon, and they never have a problem finding the address. Getting a refund was difficult. I would suggest you never use this company.

    I ordered from Liquor Depot today & gave the driver my ID to take a picture & verify I was of age. The driver's app was not working & I stood on my porch with her for 45 minutes while she tried to contact her superiors on what she should do since the app simply was not working to complete the process. She was eventually told to take the order back to the store since she was unable to upload a picture of my ID to the app. I then got a $15 charge to my card for the order being cancelled by the delivery driver!!! All emails that are listed for Uber Eats go nowhere, nobody answers phone calls, there is simply no way to dispute this charge other than filing a fraud charge with my bank!!! I will never use them again.

    We ordered food and had an estimate of 38-50 minute delivery time. Food arrived an hour and a half late!!! Food arrived wet and ice cold so we could not even eat it due to possibility of getting sick!!!! Also, signed up for free delivery (eats pass) and they still charged me all the fees!!! Disgusting service and health hazard to eat cold saturated food that was so wet the bag was even soaked!!

    They will send you an offer for a delivery with an amount of money to perform that delivery. When you accept complete the delivery Uber won’t pay the entire amount you agreed upon to perform the delivery. Example: you agree to perform a delivery for $15. When you complete the delivery they only pay you $4 and tell you, "Oh well the customer changed their mind and did not give you the tip," there is nothing they can do. So deceiving!

    I received an email from Uber EATS on November 12th of 2020 and I gave me a promo code for $30 off if I spend $1 or more. So I was waiting to use that since at the bottom of the email it said it was good for 14 days from the receipt of the promo code. Which would be the 12th. So I told my boyfriend that we have until the day before Thanksgiving to order something from Uber eats pretty much free and we just pay the fees. He was on board with that. Yesterday I received an email reminding me of the promo code and that how it's expiring soon and at the bottom of that email it also says the 14 days from the receipt of promo code, which would be the 12th, so I said, "Okay let's use it tomorrow for lunch" and he agreed. So we wake up this morning and we're doing our morning routine and we want to order our lunch so we could pick it up around our normal lunch time.

    I got to put the promo code in and it says it's expired. Which doesn't make any sense because on both emails it said it's good for 14 days from the receipt of the promo. Not wanting to spend any more money than I have to, I reach out to Uber, via Twitter and app. It's really hard again contact with them but they somehow found me through the app and I messaged them on Twitter and tweeted at them. They told me that that has been expired and there's no way to use expired codes. I told them I completely understand that there's no way to use expired codes, however there's a make any sense to say that it's expired when it says that it's good for 14 days and it's still within the 14 days and I have not used it and I have never ordered from Uber eats so I should be able to use that coupon code.

    They keep saying the same thing that it's expired and there's no way to use it and on their app they completely cut communication with me and asked for me to rate them. I could not reply anymore. So I did and I give them one star. I will never use Uber eats again. That is clearly false advertising and only to get used to download their app.

    I received a $25.00 coupon code via email. I’ve never used Uber Eats and was excited about it. I noticed that there are a lot of fees as I kept looking at the app and restaurants. I planned to use the coupon for dinner when my family would be home. So we can all enjoy a take out meal. Well, I put the code in the app, and my receipt showed the full amount. The code coupon didn’t go through. I called the restaurant, they said call UberEats. I called UberEats and they said they don’t handle coupon codes and that I have to go through the app. What a nightmare.

    My first contact back from UberEats was that they don’t recognize my email. But you sent the coupon code to my email address. Then they asked for a copy of my receipt and the coupon code, which I sent. Then they said they didn’t get my message. These seem to be automated messages because it just doesn’t make any sense. Then they said my code is not valid. What??? I ask them to explain. Is it a fake coupon? It sure wasn’t an expired coupon.

    Then the last message they sent, without answering my question, was that they are not accepting any more messages from me. What kind of company is this? I am just disgusted. They ripped me off. I would never have used UberEats if I didn’t get that coupon. The restaurant is 2 miles away and the fees are high. And they don’t have a customer service number to deal with this issue. I’ll never use UberEats or Uber again. The company is not customer service friendly. And they will not get anything from me again. I’m not supporting any businesses that don’t care enough to listen to customer concerns.

    My experience is similar to others who reviewed them. I also kept receiving emails about a $30 credit for first time use. So I decided to try. The discount never came up and then I emailed them and they said it wasn't valid. Really? Well I ordered anyway (the fees are really high) but we didn't have time to cook. I received multiple texts confirming the delivery date and time. When it was 15 minutes after the delivery was supposed to arrive, I called the restaurant and they said the order was still sitting there. The restaurant said that they don't call Uber Eats when that happens but the customer had to. There is no phone number!!!

    So my husband went out and picked up the food himself. Now I've been emailing back and forth with a robot who is asking me for an order number (there was none) and claiming that the email I was using was not the email I used to order the food. This is so insane. NEVER NEVER NEVER use this company. Now I have to deal with the credit card company and I'm busy packing for a move.

    They emailed me a promo code for $30 off a first order. After trying multiple times with it not working, I eventually figured out (after an exhaustive search) how to message them through Twitter. After a back & forth of several messages they claimed that the code couldn’t be used because of fraud. They gave zero explanation. When I further questioned it, they claimed that I had a second account and that multiple accounts violated their terms of service. This was literally the one and only time I have ever created an account with them. When I questioned it more, they wouldn’t give me any answers. I asked them to show me proof of the other account and they didn’t acknowledge that. The following is my last message to them as of the time of this review. I’m still waiting...

    “I literally have zero reason for your service. I live in a small town in South Carolina where the cost of delivery isn’t justifiable. We can just drive less than a mile away to pick food up. And I wouldn’t ever use the car service because I’m agoraphobic and don’t go places or travel at all. The only reason I even created this account last week was because of the promo code that was emailed for a first time delivery order. So I planned to use the service once and that was it. If you’re telling me that I have another account, it must be a case of identity theft because it was not me!!!! Get to the bottom of this and get a manager to get off their butt and do something!!!”

    I placed an order on 10/10 that totaled $42.36 however my Paypal account was charged 73.92 which I can confirm cleared my bank. Then my order was cancelled and I have yet to be refunded. Uber Eats says I wasn't charged but I accounts say otherwise.

    First off I should have not even been able to order from Starbucks as they were closed when my order went thru. Starbucks even called me and told me to cancel my order....I have had to throw out $14 of iced coffee made with milk cause it was warm..And not drinkable by the time I got it. I would have canceled the order like Starbucks told me to do but I could not figure it out on your app..I would go to help and it would tell me what to do..I would go to follow the instructions but I couldn't cancel..It would not let me. My coffee sat there for almost 45 mins..No Uber person was even listed to pick up my order till after I got the call to cancel the order. By the time the order got to me it had been almost an hour.

    I have had nothing but terrible experiences with this company... Orders extremely late very often..When food was not delivered or was wrong I got the run around and had to email back and forth several times to get the proper end result.. I went away for a bit but against my better judgment I ordered from you guys...I didn't want a credit. I wanted a refund and I think THAT is the appropriate response to this issue..I will never again use their service. It is awful. After getting a second response from them they offered me a $5 credit. A lot of good that will do me when I will never use them again. I don't have these issues with Door Dash or Postmates and when there are issues they take care of their customers quickly and appropriately.

    I started an Uber account at the height of the Pandemic. At first they forgot something in the order each time. Then later I started putting in orders and they would instantly be cancelled but I would be charged. They would hold my money for weeks and the restaurants would say they never received an order. The only way to reach Uber was to put in a ticket via the app. The customer service phone number says to email at support@uber.com but when you do you get a response back that says they don't check that account and no one will see the message.

    There are 4 options to put in a ticket that reroute you and basically blame the customer saying do it different next time. If you put in a missing item ticket they sometimes give a refund however they will say you are exploiting their appeasements and later deny the refund. Although you are paying for the food and they aren't bringing it! I was offered a credit but when I went to put in the order and spent 45 mins doing it it wouldn't work, or I would stop using their service all together. Then I ordered from a restaurant only to get a message 2 hours later saying it was cancelled and I would have to pay for it still?

    When I called the restaurant they said they didn't even do business with them and they did it all the time to force the restaurant to start working with them or face upset customers that didn't understand. They had tried contacting UBER to no response either. Last week I tried to utilize the service as they were still charging me a monthly rate even though I asked to cancel it. They brought 2/4 meals. When I put in a ticket..2 days later I gotta response saying they would issue me a refund and something called uber bucks for an additional $21 for the inconvenience and poor experiences.

    The next morning I received another email saying they wouldn't issue the full refund but would only charge me $16 and refund the other 31$?? I asked what changed and where to find the $21 uber cash promised. They closed my ticket as resolved. I've put in 6 more tickets asking to speak with someone because each time they close the ticket saying the issue has already been resolved. I was then promised a $10 credit for my food being very late. Today I tried to put in an order while waiting on a response. I've reached out via email, phone, twitter and their app. There was no 10$ credit, there were no $21 in uber cash and I've not received any refund. I've spent hours trying to resolve this...as I'm typing in a ticket the food arrives from Red Robin. They forgot a salad, an artichoke dip appetizer, and all condiments and utensils which they had me check a box saying I WANTED.

    I put in another ticket saying "WTF are you kidding me right now 2 days in a row?" There's no way to get ahold of them, no one reads the tickets, you get generic cut and paste responses or told they'll refund a portion of the food you paid for and didn't get or that you're exploiting their system. If you say you want to cancel the eats pass they say sure..don't do it and then say they won't refund you for the missing food because you cancelled your eats pass and aren't a valued member any longer. This is the worst customer service. Not to mention if you call the phone number says it is for emergencies but if you stay on the line it just says hang up and call 911. They are dropping the ball.

    Today I called the restaurant because I noticed the receipt on the bad they sent was very different from what I ordered but it mostly what I got. The restaurant said that was what uber sent them. The restaurant also said they've been having to pay them back because they use people overseas and systems that don't put in orders correctly and the restaurant has to refund but Uber refuses to actually refund the customer. They are taking money for services they aren't provided.

    I am putting together a video series with the conversations, photos, and app receipts for this company taking advantage of businesses/restaurants and customers that are struggling during this pandemic and they are profiting off of it. Look around their 1 star reviews are getting worse. Read in different cities and look for my short film detailing proof tell me if you think what I ordered matches the restaurant receipt let alone what I received. Update I received a response from my ticket saying they'd refund the dip..Nothing else and to ask for utensils if I wanted...which I specifically did.

    My experiences with Uber Eats has gotten progressively worse. The most common issues are items being forgotten or the order being slightly off. This happens a majority of the time. I usually choose to live with it, since complaining about misses here and there would eat away more time than it is worth. The second major issue within a string of constant problems, is that I got a completely wrong order delivered. The restaurant traded my sides for other items and provided soda when I requested lemonade. It's like they don't ever require their drivers to verify items before delivering them. Either that or they don't have strict guidelines/requirements for their partners to adhere to. The problem is way too frequent to assume otherwise.

    The latest in offenses is that I was allowed to order from a restaurant that was completely closed. I waited over an hour to be told by a driver that my order could not be completed. How does it take an hour to figure out your partner store isn't fulfilling an order request?? Don't they have to accept an order and update upon progression?

    To add insult to injury, I could not cancel the order without being charged. I had to wait through 3 or 4 drivers before 1 of them finally submitted a cancellation. I tried to wait for a chat specialist to process a cancellation and it took over 10 minutes before I got in touch with anyone. By that time the order was canceled by a driver. After waiting for what was meant to be a 30 minute order, for over an hour, I was basically told "sorry about that!" They don't even try to make it right when they've greatly inconvenienced you. I've gone through all that just to say you are better off using a competitor. Their delivery service and customer service is severely lacking. I wouldn't recommend using them if they were the last delivery service on Earth. Don't waste your money.

    So after order from Taco Bell and Pizza Hut they both did not delivered. One showed delivered after 45 mins and the other as customer delivery. After contacting customer care which the first was a robot it automatically issued a refund and copy and paste apology. The second might have been a person too which they replied the same. Looks like that they are taking order for the cash but not actually doing the work then holding on to customers' money for future profit.
