I was charged over $20 for bags - which I assume was some sort of glitch - when I received no bags at all. Then, on another order I was overcharged $30 by a shopper who didn't understand that you had to be sure to charge for the correct weight of weighted items and Instacart support said there was nothing they could do even after I provided proof. That's over $50 they've stolen from me with no help from their support team. Steer clear of these criminals.

I placed an order through Harris Teeter who pairs up with InstaCart to deliver. Big mistake. My order was delivered but was missing items that the girl said was not available. I called Harris Teeter and confirmed with both the manager and the seafood department staff in Newport News, VA that the crab legs and eggnog were available. I called Insta who acted like they couldn't help. Called Harris Teeter who credited me for the items missing and for the toilet paper replacement that was like 3X more in price than what was originally requested.

I then placed another order through Harris Teeter as the items I wanted were available. The second driver took picture (I have proof) of the crab legs being there but refunded the whole order because there was an issue with scanning the bar code at the checkout (Harris Teeter stated this was an in Instacart issue). Called Insta again who cared not and just offered for free delivery for the next month nothing else, wouldn't even put on a supervisor. This to me is not a comp. I am down two fees @ $20.00 for both and tips over $7.00. Ridiculous. The items were available and should have been delivered. Why would I want free delivery if you can't fulfill the orders. For anyone thinking this is not real, I have pictures to prove it.

When I had covid I used Instacart to order from Aldi. My delivery did come (kudos to Aldi). However, my accounts that were connected to payment method were all hacked. Upon review I realized that unauthorized Instacart orders were placed with my information. I reached out to Instacart for them to investigate and was given a form that requested additional personal details that were not relevant to the issue ... including my social. RED FLAG!!! Of course I didn't give the info! My account info was changed and I could no longer access Instacart. Good thing that I checked my email ... the scammer forgot to change the email before placing a food delivery order to one of their addresses. It was reported. It seems that Instacart either has HORRIBLE ways to investigate theft of info OR they are a part of the scam, with the company being a cover-up.

I had placed a home delivery order with Harris Teeter but it didn't work. First, the shopper kept texting me and couldn't find some of the products that were marked as available on the website. After successful checkout, I was told that the shopper encountered an issue while fulfilling my delivery. My order was therefore delayed. This experience was such a pain and stressful. Home deliveries back in the UK work so much better. Harris Teeter and Instacart - you have much improvements to make!

I entered a promo code and it was accepted. A popup box appeared stating that it would be applied once I checked out. It was not. I conducted two support chats (one was unresponsive), and the second informed me that I would not receive this coupon because I was not a new customer (I have an open account, but I have never used it). They took so long to respond to my issue that my shopper started the order and I could not cancel it.

I used Instacart for 3 years but after today I will never use them again. I am complete disgusted by the treatment I received today. I am a mom of 2 babies and use instacart to save some time. Obviously with two babies I can’t get to my phone right away. Apparently the shopper comes to my house, gets out of their car with the bag in hand, stands on the driveway which has two cars in the driveway as my husband was home, the shopper calls my phone ONCE and then cancels my order!! How stupid does one have to be!! To. It come a few more steps to the front door and knock is lazy and stupid.

On top of that after I explain on this to the customer service department they still charge me $15 cancellations. So I had to pay for some shoppers lack of common sense and laziness and the fax that I’ve been a loyal customer meant absolutely NOTHING! Disgusting service, disgusting people who work there, I’m never using them again. Do yourself a favour and find another company to support you as this place is joke. Completely disgusted!

I spend thousands of dollars on Instacart a year. Twice in the last 3 months they've accused me of fraud, basically implying that I am trying to steal food, and put a 48 hour min hold on my account demanding that I resubmit my I.D. and credit card. What? These people are crazy. Fyi to Instacart: ** families/Minority families have money and can afford to eat well without struggling to get grocery bags in and out of the house, stop trying to put a blockade on our health. The discriminatory practices are so evident, if my name was Becky ** and I was spending such an exorbitant amount on food there would be no conversation. I know this because when I was married to a non minority Instacart gave me no issues. I am tired of big companies denigrating certain groups of people, and making it difficult for them to get ahead in life. If you have the option, shop elsewhere.

It was delayed and a shopper was assigned. I was asked about 2 replacements and responded. About 15 mins later my order was waiting for a shopper! Huh?? I called and no one knew why. Well I cancelled the order. They want to give me a $5 credit. They can shove it!! Also, I have to wait 7 days for a refund?? Did you wait for your money Instacart? As another person said, you must check your receipt. When I got one by accident, I was shocked!! I paid double!! I’ve received other people’s items, had orders never get delivered and some shoppers who replace more than half the order. They suck!! 1 hour delivery?? They need to be sued for false advertising!!!!

This is what I replied to appeal the incorrect replacement when I actually didn't receive order and record second denial for same ** stating not refund for replacement item issues. WELL GREAT BUT MY ISSUE IS DELIVERY NOT RECEIVED SO READ THE DAMN EMAILS. DESCRIPTION OF EVENTS: It's been days since I've first and trust me the last order was Instacart. Place the order. I did not select leave at door. I had instructions to go down the steps and around the back to my entrance to delivered to me. What I had ordered was flea treatment for my cat that's been missing two days shy of a month. I ordered it before I went to pick up the cat because I figured it would have fleas. My joyous day has become a nightmare which has continued into today which is my oh so great birthday and at no fault of my own.

I opened a ticket under reasons of other not the reason of issue with substitution which for some reason the people in your department read it as which obviously they didn't read it because it clearly stated which now I must have stated five times the order must have been left outside and taken which is exactly why I did not select the door because packages are constantly stolen in this area. So while I waited from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. had to leave here at 9:30 without anything to treat the fleas. Pick up my cat who does have fleas. Come back, introduce the fleas into my home, then I opened a chat because your department decided to deny me a refund because it's too bad if you're not pleased with a substitution if you didn't pick a substitution. It had nothing to do with a substitution. I didn't receive my order.

Continued once again to tell the person over chat the actual situation. Was apologized to and found a refund was most definitely in the situation. They tried to complete every fund but couldn't so I was told to call customer service. So I called customer service yesterday. After explaining this again to two more departments who I apologize continuously tried to help me in a timely manner but both could not complete a refund through their system. Neither department that I spoke to could figure out why until now I figured it out that I had to talk to the appeal place. Well if you're wondering why it's taking so long for me to get to you people it's because I didn't know this was the only way that I would be able to get what I'm rightfully supposed to.

But I have a cat that is traumatized and this is my birthday so I had family commitments to attend to which had to be switched to my mother's home because my carpets are now full of fleas which is going to cost me a fortune in an exterminator which all I took the steps to make sure that my poor cat who hadn't been home for a month would get the treatment before entering my house. But your company from the driver on down hasn't been able to do that so besides the fact of the $300 reward I just paid out hundreds of dollars in Flyers Gas. Everything else searching the sea for this cat. I am now going to have to dish out hundreds of dollars for an exterminator and trust me you will be getting that receipt because I'll take this as far as small claims court if I have to.

This is crazy so yes you can be assured once I give you the ticket information and that here now that I'm looking for more than just the price of the flea treatment. So we can figure it out over this email or we can figure it out over the phone but it's going to be figured out. If you need receipts from this exterminator I'll be happy to provide them but something is going to be paid because I'm sick of paying for other people's mistakes. Especially when all I needed was a refund. All I needed was the flea treatment originally but I couldn't get one because somebody couldn't take the time to read what was actually wrote in the tickets and the driver couldn't take the time to read what was actually wrote in my delivery instructions and the rest of the parents couldn't take the time to figure out that.

This was the only way I would be able to get the refund so congratulations Instacart. When I do get the time which I have not had and probably won't for days from now I am going to plaster this all over social media and so is my mother and stepdad whom have an extensive social media presence as they are the owners Exit Realty on the Shore in Clarenville, Exit Realty in Bay Roberts Varieties Outfitting Hunt Lodge and Camps *Deep Country Lodge is Main Business which other Outfitting camps branch from and customers are mostly based from the US Texas area. So I'm not trying to be snotty just explaining that it's quite a social media presence besides the nonprofit I work with that are cat rescue based certainly won't help with this story of flea and hell. I don't mind doing that since they need to make it right. I am not able to run to the store, as I home care for my aging mother and can't get out all the time. I ordered yellow potatoes and got russets, ordered again and got white, 3rd time I finally got yellow! Last order, the driver says she was here, but had totally different address. I was on the phone with their customer care who said he tried to call her 2x but no answer. Then I received a text from INSTACART saying the driver had an issue with delivery and my order would be assigned to the next shopper. This was 25 minutes before the first delivery window.

The guy on the phone with me said they would still need to complete it by that time frame too. It got here 2 hours later. I sent 2 notices to their customer care under the order but have not heard anything back! Normally they have responded immediately. Anyhow, Although we need this service, I may have to cancel it since it's gotten so bad.

I immediately contacted Instacart company to report then I didn’t receive my order and request a refund. Regrettably, despite numerous attempts to contact your customer support, I have not received any response or resolution.

My last attempt to resolve this issue was on September 8, 2023, when I reached out to Instacart customer support. I even went the extra mile by submitting a copy of my picture ID and credit card to your fraud department as requested, hoping that this would expedite the resolution process. However, to my dismay, my money has not been refunded, and the third-party billing service, Klarna, is still billing me for a service I did not fully receive. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I feel extremely frustrated by the lack of communication and action on your part. I have been a loyal Instacart customer for a significant amount of time, and this experience has left me questioning the integrity and reliability of your service. Sincerely, KAREEMAH

I got the Fry's Boost subscription which uses Instacart for the shopping and delivering. With the exception of only one order, every time there was issues. The issues ranged from getting items I did not order, items I did order missing, perishable items (like meat) being warmer than room temperature (and shopping started 2-3 hours before delivery occurred), obviously rotten produce, open packages of sandwich meat, expired items, deliveries hours outside of the selected time window, and issues being able to even select delivery date/time. If you account for the frustration and all the items thrown out for the reasons previously cited, the value of using Instacart is a negative one. Instacart is a great concept, but they just can't seem to deliver a quality service.

This is my fourth bad experience with INSTACART. I rely on them because I don’t have a vehicle and I live in the country. I ordered water and food at 3:30 pm ahead of Hurricane Idalia coming the next day. The girl picked my order and sat on it while she shopped for other customers. I kept receiving notifications from INSTACART telling me that my order would be delayed for an hour, every hour. Originally it said I’d get a 6 pm delivery. Then it turned to 8 then 9 then 10. At 10 pm the person who was scheduled to deliver my items told me that the store that I ordered from closed at 8 pm. She said not to worry someone would pick it up in the morning and deliver it to me. I woke up the next morning to check to see when my items would be delivered. It said between 9 and 11 am. 11:35 came and it still hadn’t arrived.

I called INSTACART and they told me the store I ordered from was closed due to the upcoming hurricane. I was told that I could order from other stores that weren’t in my budget and then I found Sam’s Club and placed an order there. I saw that someone was shopping for my order and then they just stopped. I had to call INSTACART AGAIN to find out what happened. I was told that the store was probably closed due to the hurricane. Today out of necessity for water and no way to the supermarket I ordered again. I ordered gallons of spring water and received liters of distilled. I ordered craisins for salad and the person who delivered my order in a very timely manner, decided it would be a good idea to replace them with Sunkist fruit snacks! On top of all this, they have a bunch of hidden fees. I’m beyond annoyed and I don’t usually hate anything but I HATE INSTACART! If I were able to give them no stars I would!

I had an additional $53 in up charges with products they purchased for me and a total of $110 with fees and tip.

I wanted to write a review to make sure customers are aware because I don’t think they are transparent with increase in prices. If customers are aware and choose to still use the service..Great but I feel they are being sneaky about it. I would never of asked for my actual receipt until I saw a customer warning other people. Today was the last bad experience I will endure with Instacart. I'm going to find a grocery store that doesn't use them or find another way to get deliveries. They have been rude, not helpful, the chat person literally hung up on me; I had a security issue with someone trying to access my account and they won't investigate it. They said, no one tried. So I said, "If that's the case, did this email come from instacart (that says my account was locked due to too many failed attempts)." They said yes, but because the attempts were unsuccessful, they won't look into it.

Also, I recently had a shopper at Sprout's who didn't look for any of my items. He simply sent text message after text message stating that the items were out of stock. I got 8 items out of 45. So I called the manager at Sprout's. He said they were not out of those items. I replaced the order, got another shopper and she filled EVERY item! The issue then was, it was so late, it became too late to get the order the day I needed it. So I had to arrange for my 82 year old father to pick it up for us on party day.

I can't recommend Instacart at all! I will say however, I have ONE shopper that I get regularly at Sprout's, Briana, who is amazing, helpful, communicative and polite! Too bad she seems to be an anomaly there. AVOID doing business with them. I'm also quite sure that my recent credit card security issue, was a result of the poor experience I had with that shopper, described above. I had a bunch of unauthorized charges and had to close my credit card. Not worth the inconvenience. Just go to the store or find another way to get delivery.

They are playing with people’s money!!! I have been using Instacart for a few years now on occasion. Usually I don’t have any major issues, but after a recent order, I will no longer be ordering from Instacart. I placed my order, and it was completed in a timely manner. A few days later, I checked my bank account and it appeared that they charged me twice for 1 order. I reached out to customer support in hopes of getting the charge canceled or getting a refund. The customer support representative informed me that after placing an order a temporary authorization hold will be placed on my debit card for 7 business days. I’m not sure if they change their system, but this has never happened to me before and it seemed wrong and unnecessary to have taken the money out of my bank account, even though it’s just temporary.

Especially in this economy where groceries are already outrageously expensive (plus the delivery fee + tip of a delivery service) people can’t afford to be charged twice the amount of money they thought they were agreeing to pay for an order, this is a terrible way to do business! Please beware of this if you need to be precise about how much money is coming out of your account. Even if it’s just a temporary hold, it can still cause an issue if you are on a strict budget with other bills to pay!

Always bulk items that were scanned and not ordered. Snack pack chips and sodas, like for big families. No one in their customer service cares. Their customers are being ripped off by the drivers. Kroger credited the items immediately, but it’s stealing. 20 deliveries sack day, 1-2 items a delivery maybe totaling $8-$10, that’s $200 extra into the driver's pocket. Systematic theft.

It’s day 13 and they are claiming the “credits” I see on my orders from that day are from them refunding me. What’s funny is that I used gift cards on those orders which show up as credits. And I placed those orders before I even reached out to Instacart about my non delivered order. I replaced the order assuming they had good customer service and would refund me. I’ve wasted 3 hours of my life and I’ve never dealt with a worse business. I’ll go back to grocery pick up. NEVER USE INSTACART! They are a complete scam! And rude customer service!

After five days of no response I tried to contact customer service again and couldn’t because my account was locked. I was very angry as I have not ever subscribed to anything! When I insisted on him to tell me when all these started, he said I purchased something on July 2022 and there was a offer of 15 days free subscription with the delivery to get it cheaper and I chose it. I went to my order history and my last order was in May 23, 2022 so obviously it is a fraudulent activity. I’ve never used Instacart for a delivery but one day I noticed I had a $99 Instacart charge on my credit card account for a delivery subscription. I thought this was strange since I’ve never had any delivery from them. I went and looked at my account that I had only because when my husband had Covid in 2021 I used it through the Publix account to place an order for pickup and saw that was the only transaction noted on my Instacart account. So I called Instacart to inquire for the charge. The representative confirmed that I had no delivery orders and the only order was one pickup order in 2021. When I explained I did not sign up for this subscription as evidenced by not ever using it can I please have it refunded, I was then told that she could not give me a refund because I was past the 15 day trial period.

I then asked how would I know about a 15 day trial if I was not the one to sign up for this service and never used it and was told again there was nothing she could do because it was past the 15 day trial period. I again explained that I only found out about this subscription by the charge on my credit card account which was that day. She continued to repeat about the 15 day trial period and would not help. I told her that I would be contacting my credit card about this fraudulent transaction and her response was “ok you can do that”. It was super frustrating and so I reported the charge as fraud and had the charge removed through my credit card company which also entailed cancelling that card and getting a new one. Beware and watch out for unauthorized charges from this company.

A couple weeks ago I did a order through Fry’s, and decided to do delivery because I was sick that day. It was the second time I had used the Instacart option through the grocery app. The first time I didn’t have any issues. This time, though, the guy marked a bunch of stuff that I ordered as unavailable and then picked the worst substitutions you could get for it. I ordered three packs of chicken because they were at this crazy great price, and he said that they didn’t have any more and instead got me one pack of chicken that was way less in the amount but the same price as were all three of those would’ve cost me. He also marked three different things as unavailable and picked organic options instead. I tipped $8 and paid the $10 delivery fee. His subs made the order way more expensive than I was anticipating.

I went to the grocery store within minutes of it being dropped off to return the subs. Guess what I found? Everything he said they were out of. All of it, the chicken, the orange, the green onions, the soda, the white onions and something else. Took pictures and was still on the phone for 3 ** hours. They hung up on me, on accident they said, twice. They finally transferred me, I never got a refund and still had to pay the delivery fee and the tip. I couldn’t get a refund through the store, and basically paid for chicken 2 times trying to get the ones I actually wanted. I talked to 4 people, 4. And it never was resolved. $26 for the chicken, the $9.99 delivery fee, the taxes, and the $8 tip.

I've been using Instacart for a couple of months now...It seems to me that there aren't enough ways to make sure that the shoppers actually do a good job. I've received orders that I've paid for items and those items were blatantly covered in mold / just rotten. Which I believed to have been fine since they provided me with an easy way to receive credit for those poor decisions made by their shopper...but yesterday was an experience to where I will NEVER use this service again!!!!

I ordered a pretty hefty order. Everything seemed to go well. I was able to communicate what replaced items I wanted...when I looked on the order receipt it seemed to have shown every item I requested was purchased. I got the notification that they were delivered...but when I went outside to see, it was already apparent to me that I was MISSING OVER HALF OF MY ORDER which I paid $340 for!!!! The woman kept all of the fresh produce that I ordered and only gave me the wheat, carb, and frozen products I ordered...I was missing blueberries and watermelon, kale and spinach...then to top things off INSTACART CLOSED MY ACCOUNT FOR SUSPICION OF FRAUD!!!!!

So now I'm locked out of my account until the proper department can verify my identity. I had to send in my ID and CC...I'm owed more than half of my order back and now I have to wait 24-48 business hours...I received a follow-up call this morning to which it was another reminder that I would never use this company again...

The only resolution they could give me is that the woman has been removed from MY AREA ONLY, showing that in the meantime she can continue to take advantage of other Instacart clients and can't even guarantee that she will be reprimanded at any part... I won't even be able to access my refund until I receive a follow-up EMAIL only from that specific department... True criminals are allowed to take advantage of you and get away with it with Instacart! You are better off getting your own damn groceries. Period!

I have been a customer of Instacart for many years. I have also been a shopper for Instacart for quite some time. In both cases I have done everything right. Instacart randomly sent me the customer credit card. I never use company-specific credit cards. I should have just tossed this one, but I foolishly placed it in my wallet. I never used it; it just sat there. One day, I was shopping for two customers at Fry’s. I was in a bit of a rush and hurriedly grabbed the customer credit card instead of the shopper debit card to purchase the two grocery orders as a shopper. The two cards look almost identical, and it is honestly an easy mistake to make. The shopper card is pre-loaded with the correct amount to purchase the groceries for the customer, who at that point has already paid on the app. I went along my way, delivering the groceries to the two customers, not realizing the mistake I had made in using the customer credit card.

Fast forward a month to me receiving a bill statement in the mail for the two charges made on the credit card. I was receiving the statement as the customer who would have made those purchases. The two orders totaled over $50. I then realized the mistake I had made. Of course, I did not believe I should have to pay this bill, as it was an honest mistake; an accidental charge. I assumed I would call up Instacart and fix the mistake. I called Instacart and explained the mix up. The gentleman on the phone understood and said, "Of course we will erase those charges." Great. I thought that was the end of it. I forgot all about it. Until a month later when I received a statement in the mail for not only the $50 in groceries, but also the $30 in late fees and interest build up.

I called Instacart again. They told me they could not help me as a customer so they would have to transfer me to shopper support. Shopper support told me they could not help me and would have to transfer me to customer support. No one helped me that day. This back and forth went on for months. No one at Instacart or Chase could help me, each pointing me in the direction of someone else. I called and emailed and never received any actual help. I even emailed that I would have to take legal action as I don’t have $80 to pay on something that wasn’t my charge. I never received any response to that. Once the account was sent to collections for $80, I contacted Chase collections. That gentleman told me he could do me a “favor” by erasing the late fees and interest and only collecting on $50. I said fine but I couldn’t pay that day. So he erased those extra charges.

Today I was notified that my credit score tanked from 795 to 590. For almost a year, I have been working hard to build and maintain my credit score at just under 800. I have been paying more than minimum on my car, I have been avoiding any credit card charges and paying what I owe on time. For 5 years I have had 100% on time payments. Now my score reports 92% on time payments. Instacart has successfully blown years of hard work and dedication from a charge that should not have been validated once I reported the mistake.

So today I called Chase to make the payment and get rid of this. The interest and late fees were never erased as I was told they would be. So today I paid the $80 in collections for the $50 of groceries that were not mine. Today I paid money that I cannot afford to pay because of the severe effects I am now facing. For months I tried to fight this charge. For months, I was tossed back and forth from customer support to shopper support, both claiming they cannot help me. Twice I was told that the issue would be resolved in some way, only to continue being charged. I am a single mother. I have a disability and I am not working at this time. I cannot afford to spend my very little gas and grocery money that I don’t really have, on groceries for two other random families. So because I was ignored and blown off for months, and now I am facing credit and financial consequences for a payment that should have been erased months ago, I am sharing my story on every platform available.

Nothing was outside my door. Now I'm really upset. 6. In the email there's a 'How did we do?" I give 1 star(can't give a zero). I let them know that I not only didn't receive my groceries on the 11th but I had no groceries at my front door either on the 12th and I saw where $115 order had been processed for $148.60 and charged to my card. I want a full refund. I'm done. I also contacted Price Chopper about this situation. Of course they're sorry but this is Instacarts problem not theirs.

    6. Boy howdy--now Instacart sends me a phone number. They want to know what happened. I spoke with a gal that I could barely understand who sent me to Diego. First he apologizes and wants to give me a month's free Instacart service. I said NO. Refund. Today is June 23, more calls to my bank and Instacart and finally a refund hits my bank account. 7. It is now 6/22/23 and I've spent hours with 3-4 different customer support agents who state their "Trust and Care" team will be in touch, but they don't have anyone available to be able to speak to over the phone to process a refund. Each time you call, you have to re-explain yourself and the outcome, is ultimately the same. No resolution. I've reported to the Better Business Bureau because this is unacceptable.

(PLEASE BEWARE!) A majority not all of these customers are extremely ungrateful! Especially instacart!...They don't care how long you been with the platform, they don't care about your 5 star rating, they don't care that you worked in all types of weather, they don't care that you had to pay for repairs on your vehicle yourself!

They don't care about your amazing reviews from people that loved you!, they don't care that you followed proper procedures in a situation with a customer, they don't care about your appeals or want to hear your side, whatever a customer calls to lie about instacart will believe them and deactivate your account! I feel this is a horrible platform for anyone looking for a dependable side gig! Extremely unfair and unjustified! These days you see plenty of stories of Amazon drivers becoming rich from stealing packages and reselling them or random people stealing packages from doorsteps but I was fortunate up until yesterday not to have experienced it. Insanely enough, I wouldn't think the first time it happened I would be living in a luxury apartment complex. I routinely have my groceries delivered bi-weekly. From time to time I've used Instacart when Shoprite doesn't have a time slot available for the day. Yesterday I opted to utilize them because I received a notification that I would receive $20 off. Sweet! Well, that was my original thought considering that two weeks prior I tipped the driver $20 for lugging my order to my door and figured the discount would essentially cover the tip this time. When the driver (Reginald) arrived, he called because he was in need of directions to find the entrance of the building.

After he confirmed locating the entrance, we ended the call and I proceeded to throw on some sweats so I could retrieve my packages when he arrived. Usually the driver knocks on the door to alert me of their arrival. This did not happen but I received the notification that my groceries had arrived. I throw on a shirt and slippers and head to the door and to my surprise there was nothing there. I text the driver through the app inquiring about where my groceries were left. I didn't receive a response so I called him. He asked me if he had come to the right building.

First off, I was on the phone giving him the directions so unless he opted to go somewhere else afterward, how could that have happened? Second, if you were unsure why wouldn't try calling me back or knock on the door to confirm? I asked him to come back to assist with showing me where he left them so I could retrieve them. He said that he was far away, and since he had marked my order as delivered, the app won't allow him to take any additional action, but if I called cs they would let him know how to proceed. After speaking to the first representative, she told me that she would assist with a reorder that would arrive in two hrs. I wasn't happy because I had prior engagements that I now needed to reschedule because I had to wait for a replacement order to arrive. After two an half hrs passed and I didn't receive any additional communication, I called CS again.

This time I was told that I needed to wait from an email from the "trust and safety" team. So at this point I was at a lost of time, my groceries, and was given no tentative time as to when I would receive a resolve. I receive communication the next morning stating that my account would be deactivated while they continued their investigation. The audacity of them to think I was ever going to patronize them again after this experience and how despicable of them to insinuate my integrity was in question when their misfit of an employee was hustling their customers. I have still not received a resolve from them, but my property manager has confirmed that "Reginald" the driver was seen entering with bags and LEAVING the building with bags.

Furthermore, I posted his photo from the app to my social media and apparently this guy has been swindling people in my town and the neighboring town since he was released from prison ten years ago! I'm so disgusted with this experience and Instacart. Instead of investigating their customers, they should probably invest more resources in thorough background checks for their employees!

She said she would send it to the next department and they would call me to resolve the matter. Needless to say, I have not heard from them.

I called my bank, Bank Of America, to start a dispute. When they did the search for Instacart they found a total of 4 orders I was charged for since March. Somehow I missed the others. I received so many refunds requests and replacement messages thinking they were coming from the shopper…I even commented on how many changes there were.

At 5:30pm I received a message that the driver, who was the same person as the shopper, would deliver soon. I immediately reached out to the driver and restated that no one would be home until 6:30…He came back to me with “are you kidding me”, I asked him to call me. On the phone call he asked “what do you want me to drive around for an hour?” I stated I could do without the attitude and he yelled **-You and hung up. I then called customer service and told the story asked for a manager to call me back…which never happened. The only thing that was said to me is that they would ensure this driver would never deliver to my house again…really? You are OK with this person interacting with any of your customers?

The order was canceled by Instacart and I had to reschedule the order. I did reschedule the order and by this time the new driver had been advised by PUBLIX and Instacart of what had happened. The fact that Instacart and Publix finds this acceptable is unacceptable to a once loyal customer. I work with companies I like and trust…Good Bye Instacart and Most likely Publix.

Instead of going back to get my water, shopper was instructed to go ahead with her next order. The co. said they would give me a credit or refund because I would have to order another $35 in groceries in order to have my water brought back even though it was not my fault. They said a refund would take 5-7 business days which doesn't work for me so I took a credit. But grudgingly because they left me no choice. I don't have a car anymore and I'm sick so now I have to figure out how to get my water.

I was going to use Favor but they have a bunch of bad reviews now. So I don't know what I'm going to do. I really need my water. Also the shopper bought me a $15 pack of ground beef instead of the small size I asked for and even that was 50 percent off which would've made it more expensive originally. In addition some of the ground beef was brown and was going to expire today. She didn't even look at the ground beef color obviously.

Several instances I have had items that were twice the cost of what I wanted added onto my bill without even asking me. The shoppers I’ve had from Instacart finish the shopping early however, they do not deliver the goods after they finish shopping. I had an order today that was shopped at 1:20 PM but the shopper did not deliver the goods until 3:30 PM. Now I live in South Carolina where the temperature outside is 87° today. On my item list I had chicken salad made with mayonnaise, lunch meat, cheese, and a pack of chicken thighs. These items were not kept refrigerated, and when they were dropped off at my house, they were warm. It is not safe to eat chicken salad when it’s warm or to use chicken that was frozen and that was lit to get hot.

The lunchmeat was also warm and I was afraid to use it or eat it. I complain to Instacart, but they said that because I had complained before they were not going to give me credit for the spoiled items. Now I don’t know how you would run your business, but if you provide me with items that are spoiled and damaged, I expect to get a credit and they would not do that. So I will not deal with Instacart again and I’m going to put a dispute on my charge with my credit card company. I recommend any people using shopping for groceries tonight. So many times I would have to do a “replacement” on an item and that is such a huge disappointment. If an app says they have something, it should be there.

The driver submitted my order as delivered but failed to actually deliver my items essentially stealing my entire grocery order and I have yet to receive any type of refund. I have contacted attorneys, filed a police report, contacted my caseworker and have been given the runaround by Instacart for days with absolutely no resolution.

All communication is overseas with workers who do not care and hang up on you, give you the same answers over and over like they are reading from a teleprompter, never have a resolution, everyday that I speak with someone they have me complete a new task in order for their "trust and safety team" to get back with me in "24 to 48 hours" but no one ever gets in contact with me. They have since suspended my account preventing me access to my own personal records, will not answer any of my questions regarding what happened to my items or why I haven't received a refund.

One of the Instacart customer service representatives gave me the information that they have a GPS tracker on their drivers and they do in fact have the information that the driver never came to my location to deliver my $1000 worth of groceries and the driver did not provide any photos or documentation proving a successful delivery. So Instacart confirmed they had the proof that I did not receive my items but it was still "under investigation" and have not issued my refund. I have expressed to them multiple times that I have an 8 month old baby and the funds I used to get groceries were the absolute only resource I had to provide food for my family and do not have any food in my house at all and all I want is a refund so that I have food in my house for my baby.

They could have easily issued an Instacart credit or made any effort to accommodate me but instead have been causing me more stress in top of the fact that I was robbed of time, money, and food. They insulted me with 2 $5 Instacart credits on an order that was never received totaling almost $1000. I typically order from Publix, this time I placed an order for my daughter who lives in Tampa, FL. I ordered quite a few fresh baked goods...When the groceries were delivered, the delivery person by the name of Esmeralda, ate our cupcakes from the packages....I threw out the whole damn order...because how dare this person place my family in danger by doing something so nasty and dangerous....I expected to be reimbursed for that entire order, but Instacart thought that giving me a 5$ refund can make up for this employee's lack of judgement and for my 50$ order of just baked goods for our party.

This order is for dinner for my kids and I have no way to get them food now. The store closed at 9. And they won't do anything for this situation.

I'm paying a family plan on Instacart. After 5 delivery, I ordered today for 135 dollars of groceries (fresh meat, cream, yogurt, fresh meat and frozen product). I gave all access infos (same than for my 5 previous orders). But the driver without even calling me decided to leave all the bags in the front of the building, in the street of Downtown Los Angeles. After I found out on what happen I went down and my bags already disappeared. But even if it was still there I would not eat it as it's 78 degrees outside today and there is no shadow.

I contacted the support on the chat and they agreed to send me back the same list of groceries. Then after I was seeing that no groceries were coming. I received this email saying that they found some irregularity, and that they shutdown my account. Without refunding me or replacing my grocery list. And without refunding my subscription, I'm inviting some friends tonight and it's 6:30 and I lost my money and my time.

After being a customer with Instacart for a few years and spending thousands I have found their customer service has tanked this year. If your order is messed up which happens as we're all human they will refund for the missing item but will not redeliver. The shopper may have had my items still in their car or gave to someone else but they don't reach out to find out and you are cut off from any communication with the shopper as soon as they check out.

If you have a house with a severe allergy and order certain items for that allergy it seems you get replacements without confirming without a second thought that are NOT welcome in the house. Keeping family members safe from adverse reactions is super important but Instacart doesn't care. They don't understand that sometimes orders are built around certain items we need and then the shopper doesn't deliver those it kind of defeats the purpose. Sometimes we use these services because we have thing going on (surgery, illness, etc.) that prevent you from doing this yourself so again when they don't do their part it's kind of a big deal (instacart again doesn't see it that way). Just save yourself the hassle of NO customer service and get it yourself if you can or find someone else to do it for you.

We have been regular customers of Instacart for the last two years. During this time we have had some ups and downs. NOT all of the drivers are bad, in fact sometimes we are lucky to get the same person twice. Today I have to say was the worst, the driver did not communicate, made their own choices instead of being a real shopper and asking questions of the customer. They were even missing items and showed up 3 hours later than the time slotted for. Goods were crushed, items missing, wrong items bought and yes we have pictures to prove it.

I cannot understand is why now we are being subjected to a review even after submitting the evidence 4 times to different customer service reps including the appeals department. This what I get for $300 bucks worth of grocery plus tip plus taxes plus service charges, heavy charges all of this **. How can a business not be regulated or understand that these individuals are brining shame to their company. Instacart I am so disappointed in you. We pay for service. It's not a charity.

I have had the experience of two deliveries from Instacart at Sprouts with a longer grocery list and both have had similar issues without adequate correction. A couple months earlier had a short list with WalMart that was totally positive, great shopper and items right and deliver within an hour, but did not get a copy of the receipt to verify the full charges, it is not given when groceries delivered. Issues written to the company via their format are not replied to, and the company has no introduction web page and charges such as a Service Fee without adequate notice nor explanation how it is figured and what it is for, and is applied to the checkout balance without informed consent and as tips are no applied as directed during shopping experience.

Cannot get questions adequately answered, and the phone contacts for seniors connects me to foreign countries, like Jamaica and South Africa, both in one shopping experience, without the contacts being adequately informed, and pressure made to let the issue drop, and accents difficult to comprehend and people poorly informed. Very frustrating. A shopper used at Walmart with shortlist was excellent, here within an hour and everything was right. Expected it at Sprouts in Albuquerque. The last shopper was the wife of the Instacart shopper who she said was home with an injury. I did not get the three cans of tuna that were charged on my card, apparently in her bag as was charged and paid for by my bank. The grass-fed milk, two half gallons, were both dated five days expiration of the date of purchase and the second gallon was staying fresh until the last couple days needed.

The staff in So Africa argued with me that I ordered baked beans instead of black beans on my list, as if he had the initial shopping list, which I doubt. She did pick very fresh products and overall was positive. The matter is with the organization of Instacart as there is no page that describes their service nor the charges they place on the account at checkout, and the procedure for tipping. Charges are added for tipping beside what you decide to pay and you will not learn of it until the receipt is available until the day after the shopping experience as no receipt comes with the groceries. There is also a service fee which no representative in So Africa could explain.

Jamaica said it is 1.9% of the total grocery bill that goes to Instacart. When I joined the $9.99 per month I was told the only other charge is the tip that I determine strictly. That was not the case as the amount was increased by 65% on the receipt from the amount I specified while shopping was happening. My question of the Service fee got different answers from Jamaica and So. Africa, a vague formula that was contradictory to answer the rep in Jamaica gave me that was nearly half what I was actually charged, so I really have no idea how it is figured. I had another $25 held at home which I did give the shopper, thinking all was well, but did not get all my food, and got two choices I did not put on my shopping list. Also, there was a There is a procedure for writing your concerns and sending it for a response for my first time at Sprouts, I got no reply.

I feel they is a lack of control on the cost of the shopping in Instacart and in some case the actual items you may not be pleased with. It has not been the fault of the grocery store, and in fact the first Sprouts the Instacart person did not do the shopping but the employee of the store. I felt I did not have to tip on shopping when store staff did shop as they would not get the tip. Seemed reasonable to me. They got $42 for merely picking up the groceries and driving it 1.6 miles to my house, and placed another delivery in front of mine when I was already the first shopper.

There is not a lot of control and response is not adequate, little information or development by Instacart for the consumer. No information page, and no email I was told would explain my questions were provided as promised by So Africa. How can they ignore the essential aspect of any business, a contract of sorts what we agree to pay? Do I have to pay random fees added onto my bill I have not been told is required for me, and not in writing and not agreed to pay by me. I think being duly informed of the costs we are expected to pay and how it is figured is essential and a right and is essential to me.

I found communicating with people with language accents a bit frustrating and the persons had an attitude that was corrective, if I was not responding the way they believed I should respond, some cultural expectations for such a personal experience that I found difficult to accept. I want to talk to my own people in North America, people whose expectations are similar and speech is similar. It felt there was cultural judgement being placed on my questions when I could not get an answer to a question, did not like being brushed off. It seemed they do not like women who question them and do not accept their unacceptable reply. They likely do not know all the rules of Instacart and likely they answer for more than one company. It is a cheap resolution to what Instacart may believe is not important to satisfy customers. It seems like a poorly run business as shoppers send their wives out to do the shopping.

I had the other bring along a friend who carried groceries in with her but did not feel it was proper. She did not have a background check, but then do any of them. Where is my three cans of tuna, and when will I get my refund? How does Jason's wife know the policies? But if the groceries are mostly well packed and produce the freshest, but did not get my second dozen of eggs, the tuna, and not black organic beans but refried rice, is not proper either and those were paid for but not my choices. I was not charged for the 2nd dozen eggs, but a month for a non meat eater, I do like my eggs and it will cost me a tip for another trip to the store. I am disabled from medications and do not have endurance to do that now.

Overall expect it to be troublesome and hope that it gets better, but the lack of any information from Instacart and no return reply from the format provided to present problems is not acceptable. I spent 1/6 of my grocery bill $382 groc bill on the tip and service fee in both cases and had to pay for items that were not provided, tuna and non-chosen items, and attempts to talk with foreign agents who promised an email to state credits has not been received to show the credit as promised, which he said would be a one-time credit for the service fee cause I was not advised, but still am not advised and want to know how it is determined the actual fee to be charged.

On Sat, 4/8/23 at 3:38am, I placed my family's semi-monthly Kroger grocery order (which included our Easter dinner) for delivery between 4p-6p. I'm disabled so I'm no longer able to go to the grocery store & shop like I used to. At 4:18pm, I got a text that shopper "Sherita C" started shopping for my items. She would periodically reach out to see if I wanted items that (allegedly) weren't in stock substituted for something similar or to let me know that something was canceled due to not being available and had no substitution. At 6:45p, I got a text that she had checked out. At 6:56p I received a text from my bank saying that an additional $62.14 was charged to my debit card. I knew this couldn't be right considering how many things I was notified weren't in stock/didn't have a substitution. I wasn't too happy about this but I figured I would wait until the shopper arrived and discuss it with her then.

At 7:04pm, I got a text stating that she should arrive at about 7:15pm. At 7:06pm, I got a text stating that my order would arrive shortly and if I did not request contact list delivery, my shopper would wait 10 minutes before potentially canceling the order and leaving, if no response. She never showed up! That's when I started looking into things and realized that she purchased items for herself. The more I looked into this, the more I realized that when she was allegedly substituting and canceling items off of my order due to them supposedly not being available, she was actually substituting my stuff for items she felt she was entitled to get with MY debit card. My order total was supposed to be approximately $524.14. She charged an additional $62.14 to my debit card, for a total of $586.28 worth of items that I did not receive/authorize.

7:11pm-I contacted Kroger Customer Service and spoke with "Trista". She reached out to Instacart and Instacart confirmed that the shopper marked my order as delivered at 7:07p. After checking her GPS, they could tell that she did not come to my address and she actually bypassed it and delivered those items elsewhere. I was told they would work with Instacart to issue a refund. I was not given an approximate timeframe as to when I would receive my money back. When I asked what would happen with the shopper, she said she wasn't sure how Instacart would handle it. She said she knows that there are times when a customer makes a complaint about a shopper and Instacart will ban that shopper from shopping for that customer again. (Unacceptable!) When I asked if my order could be replaced and actually delivered to me, she told me that it wasn't possible and that I would have to go back online to place the order again.

8:36pm-I called Instacart and spoke with a representative by the name of "Daniel". He also took a report. He didn't request much info from me, saying he already had it, including the shopper's name, etc. He said they'd work with Kroger to look into this and issue me a refund. I was not given an approximate time frame. 7:53pm-I contacted my local police department and was told officers would come out as soon as possible. At 8:19 p.m., I received a (private) call back from a police officer letting me know that they were extremely busy and likely wouldn't be able to make it out to me to take a report. The officer suggested I reach out to Instacart to make me "whole again". He said if I needed a police report for Instacart that I was welcome to come into the station, which was about a mile away from me.

We ended up going to the police station and spoke with a front desk officer. She begrudgingly took my report & I gave her the transaction info that I printed out, the photo of the shopper (included in the online order info), and the info from when I spoke with Kroger Customer Service and Instacart Customer Service. She said the matter would be investigated.

After leaving the police department, we had to rush to the grocery store to pick up a few items so we would have Easter dinner. Our regular Kroger location had closed at 10pm, so we were going to go out to Meijer to pick up some groceries. On the way to Meijer, we noticed a different Kroger location was open. We had about 20 minutes to shop before they closed. I ended up locking up my debit card.

On Easter Sun, 4/9/23, I looked into this some more and found out that something similar happened to a Kroger customer in Memphis, TN earlier this year. That Kroger location ended up parting ways with Instacart as a result of this. Their local news station covered the story. I reached out to their local sister station by email to inform them of what happened to me, in hopes of get the word out, so this doesn't happen to someone else.

I contacted Instacart Customer Service as well as Kroger Customer Service via their online contact forms, requesting a call back from a manager from both companies. I also requested a $12.99 Kroger Boost Same Day Delivery Monthly Membership refund, as I will NEVER be using this service again. I also requested for Kroger to return my coupons that this shopper stole. I am a single mother & I receive disability benefits. Saving money/couponing is extremely important to me. Every penny helps. Anyway, due to the Easter holiday, I haven't heard back from either company yet. We still don't have our groceries because I'm waiting on my refund, as well as hopefully getting my digital coupons returned to me.

On 4/10/23, I reached out to my bank and filed a dispute for the unauthorized charges, as well as to request a refund for the Kroger Boost Same Day Monthly membership. My debit card was canceled and another one will be reissued. I also wanted to look more into the shopper to see if she possibly had a criminal record and did something like this before. Initially, it was hard to find out much about her because I only had her first name and last initial. I did end up finding out her last name through Facebook..."Sherita **". I also found her address and saw that she lives about a mile from me.

This whole experience was the absolute LAST thing we needed. We've endured SO much trauma & stress over the past several months with my father's passing in Sept '22, my teen daughter's disappearance from Nov '22-April '23, my "mother in law's" ongoing health issues, as well as my own ongoing health issues. PLUS the disappearance of a disability check from my mailbox on 4/1/23. This should NOT have happened & I hope it can be prevented from happening to anyone else.

Then when you file a complaint they bully you by saying they shut off your account unless you withdraw your complaint! I’m the last 6-12 months is when I have noticed this huge shift. Terrible service. I placed an order for expedited delivery at 4pm, due to my house by 6pm. I was having unexpected guests coming for dinner, and thought I’d save some time by having my groceries delivered so that I’d be able to start cooking before their arrival. At 6:30, I messaged the driver asking him if he’d be much longer, assuming the store was overcrowded or something. He informed me that he had rejected the order and was not completing it at all. I assumed this meant the order was cancelled. About an hour later, while my guests and I were choosing takeout, I was messaged by another shopper that she was starting the order. We decided to wait and I’d make the meal I had planned on instead of ordering takeout. When I received the order at 8pm, it was missing the main item needed for the meal- chicken.

I expected a refund on most of my order based on the 2 hour delay and missing the chicken (which was on my receipt). The best they would do is refund the chicken and give me a $5 credit to my account. Considering I had to pay for 2 meals that evening because of THEIR mistake, $5 is simply unacceptable and terrible customer service. It didn’t even covered the service fee on the order, which included the chicken in the total cost. I’ve cancelled my account, and am reviewing on every possible platform. I’ve also shared my experience with anyone who I know uses Instacart, and they will be using other grocery services as well. A $5 credit is insulting, considering the 2 hour delay and missing item which led me to pay 2x for dinner that night, and not eating until 9pm because of their mistake.

Just in case you read this. The reason most of you are getting horrible service is because Instacart changed its shopper pay structure right after the pandemic. Shoppers are making about $14.00 for a one hour batch not including the travel time to get to the next batch. It can equal out to as low as $3.00-$5.00/hr with long lines and the texting to find replacements. That's if the consumer tips 5%. It's funny that consumers think shoppers are to blame. It's literally shoppers trying to make ends meet. Before the pay change shoppers were paid about $9.00 flat + $0.40 per item + customer tip. Now they rely 100% on your tips and because you broke lazy dumbos tip 0%-5%, you're getting what you pay for. Even if you're disabled, nobody cares. Instacart is the real enemy here. Drivers don't care about negative feedback anymore. They just rush multiple orders to stack the base pay to a livable wage. Welcome to the new Instacart.

Plus it's for the month so some agonizing goes into as I change my mind on items, etc. I don't know why I'm trying to provide them with excuses, I all know is it is the WORST!!!!

I placed a total of TWO orders. Both times immediately after placing the order my account has been locked so I can't login. The only reason they provide is "security purposes." "Keeping my account safe is important to them." ** that noise, EATING is important to ME! They send you one email with a link. They make you either scan the credit card that was used for the purchase, OR You can take a photo of the card AND Your ID with certain information blacked out and upload it to them to review. So fine the first time I jump through all their little hoops like a good person. Two days later my account is unlocked. Still NOTHING more from them. No warning that doing X caused this so avoid it in the future, nothing! So I go through and piece together the order a second time.

Fixed income here so not like I'm spending multiple hundreds of dollars. Both times less than $150. I guess by now You sharp cookies have figured out that it happened again after the second attempt. ** that noise. I'm not jumping those hoops again!! I've had 4 bad experiences. One shopper told me they weren't going to ask the store for help getting an item because she would rather be home with her child right in the middle of the order. Customer service said all they could do is block her from my service.

Another shopping experience was originally 20 items. The shopper was down to 4 items left and suddenly there was a message that a new shopper would start my order new. She only picked up the items he didn't finish so I got a quarter of my order. The customer service associate said she couldn't help me. She couldn't explain what happened to the first associate. She couldn't tell me what was missed or how it would work out. She just said call after the delivery if I need a refund for any missed items. Completely useless considering I won't get my dinner tonight. They used to fix it with another shopper to make it right. Now they just say, "Sorry, we don't do that, you'll just have to place another order for another day." Useless. I'll be shopping for another service.

At the beginning of the pandemic I discovered Instacart and it was a life saver for me and my family. My job became 100% remote so no stopping on the way home at the store - and with severe asthma it was better for me to have little exposure to Covid. I could order my grocery items at my morning break and they arrived after lunch. Life was good. RARELY was something out of stock and I was sent a message about it before the shopper finished in case I wanted to sub or at least be aware of the issue. For YEARS this was a reliable service and I even got to know some of the regular shoppers who delivered to me.

NOW - fast forward to 2023. Instacart has forgotten that their shoppers need to MAKE money too. They use methods to pay them less so the incentive to shop is less - forget service when greed takes over. I get my orders faster because the shoppers are processing 5 or 6 orders at once to make it more profitable for THEM - I get it - but they also are now getting paid the same rate for a 10 item order as a 50. So they only shop for the easy to find items - because why should they run around looking for things they don't already know the location. I´ve gotten an order with 10 out of 20 items several times recently. The last straw for me was placing an order for a Ladies night ¨IN¨ for my friends and ordering several bottles of wine.

The order was dropped off at my door and missing a ton of items including all the wine. The only phone call I got was from the shopper letting me know they were ON THE WAY to my house. I had to dash out to get the missing items myself. When I sent a complaint to Instacart I was basically sent back a virtual response that told me as long as the shopper didn't charge me for the items I was missing they weren´t considering it a valid complaint. WHAT??? So yeah I just cancelled that service. I'll make time to do my own shopping now. This is exactly what is wrong with Corporate American Greed.

They take a great company that is providing a wonderful service and employees honest hard working people trying to make it in today's work/life balance society (shoppers & consumers) and ruin the whole thing by paying some upper management do nothing too much $ to make stupid decisions! Likely THE person that decides to pay their shoppers as little as possible has a full time maid that does all their shopping. They should go be an under cover boss and shop and/also receive a delivery that they had to place! Then they would understand what they need to do to fix this.

Consumers are at the mercy of delivery services like Instacart but fail to find a better way to ensure that the shoppers who are doing the shopping are effectively communicating with the consumers when there are issues. Unfortunately, in the past month, I have had to rely on Instacart for grocery shopping and every single time there has been an issue. Selected shoppers have replaced items not approved, pocketed the refund from switched items not approved, and canceled an entire order without providing a reason.

Having an entire $100 shopping order canceled without notice is one thing but not receiving the refund in less than 7 days is another. When I spoke to Instacart’s customer service, she was able to confirm the cancellation of my order and the reason…the card system at Sam’s Club was down. She further agreed that the shopper could have called/texted me to ask if I wanted to have my order postponed until tomorrow instead of just canceling the order. She granted me a $10 credit on my next order but that doesn’t allow me to receive my order today nor can I order from another store using that card. Total inconvenience to me. Hopefully, enough reporting of these types of occurrences with prompt Instacart to educate their shoppers on providing better customer service through their delivery service.

Couple days later they took the whole $10. Called them back and was told my change will be reimbursed to my account in a few days. I received three refund to my bank, 17 cents, 46 cents then another 17 cents.

I called back and now they tell me they refunded my EBT çard with my change. I explained that they shouldn't have done anything with my EBT cause they TOOK $10 from my debit card not Ebt. Supervisor told me nothing they can do cause they can't reverse my money from the ebt refund. Also they can't refund my money to my debit card at this time either. I explained ebt and debit card is totally different. I can't buy gas with EBT, and it was their mistake. They still say nothing they can do. So they just taking people money. I've ordered from Instacart 4 times in the past, and didn't have any issues. This time there were many issues. First, it took several hours for someone to finally do my shopping. I only ordered 3 items which came to a total of $28.47. Guess how much I ended up paying? A whopping $49.41. Then, I checked my phone for the receipt and saw that Instacart had charged me $31.42 for the $28.47 worth of products!! So that was the FIRST "fee" they slapped on me. Then they charged me an additional FIFTEEN DOLLARS in fees, PLUS a forced $2 tip, which brought the grand total for fees up to $17.99. I mean come ON. That's INSANE. PLUS, the shopper substituted one of my items without even bothering to ask me first if I wanted what they chose.

I could have refused the order when she finally arrived at my house, but I was afraid they wouldn't refund the money they took from my debit card, so then I'd end up with no money AND no products. They simply can not be trusted. When I called customer service I got someone with a thick accent that was barely understandable, and she spoke like a robot as well. No matter what I said she just kept repeating that they ALWAYS charge that much in fees, when in fact I've never been charged that much in fees from them in the past. Trying to reason with customer service is like banging your head against a brick wall. I will NEVER order from them again. They are a HORRIBLE COMPANY.

Absolutely horrible, over $1,000 on a order that I still haven’t received. It's been 5 days since I was originally supposed to get my order. (Ordered March 15th for delivery on March 16th 2023. Had to cancel my entire order & reschedule due to shoppers saying they are out for delivery & never arriving to my door. It then gets resigned to a new shopper & gets pushed an entire day. (March 17) When the next day comes the shopper actually gets my things but his car breaks down, and Instacart vouches it would still arrive that day (March 17th by 8pm). Never happened even though I called.

It then got rescheduled to Saturday march 18th & instacart has to call me & tell me cancel the order because they’ve exceeded the number of times they can go to Costco & try to receive my order. I then cancel & reorder it on march 19th for delivery on the 20th. The shopper assigned then completes the shopping but when it gets to check out forgets the payment card he has to use to they resign the order again. I’ve spoken to manager who assures me I will receive my order today & will personally look over my order from shopping to delivery, but not going to hold my breath. The markup on costco is for their “same day” delivery fee but there's nothing same day about it! & they won't give a credit or less the price on my total bill, even though it's their fault & clearly don't know the meaning of same day delivery.

When there are issues with broken items, the wrong items, being charged for missing items, spoiled items, etc. I expect they will resolve them. They put a block on my account for notifying them of these issues. I do not hire the shoppers so have no control over who is shopping my order. Thus I am expected to send an email to resolutions along with photographs of the issues. I complied each time. The responses come from an automated system that many times do not address the questions at hand. It seems to take as long as eight weeks and at least a phone call every Saturday to check on the status of my issue. With many issues being unresolved it becomes a full time job to try to get resolution.

When the delivery driver arrived, I noticed she spent an exorbitant amount of time in her trunk, before putting my groceries on the porch. However, I was in a meeting and I could not come downstairs immediately. I heard the car backing out of my driveway, but she never rang my doorbell to confirm that she dropped off my order. When I got to the door, there were only two bags on my porch. I looked through the bags and four items are missing. I immediately sent a message to the Instacart driver to which she ignored. I logged on to the app and I reported my missing items and I reduce her tip. About 30 minutes later, the Instacart driver comes back with one of the four missing items. By this time, InstaCart has given me a credit for @$21. I reported that the driver returned one of the four items (being honest).

I wake up to an $11.86 deduction from my bank account by InstaCart under their 50 Beale Street address (not their Instacart name), but their Beale street address. Meaning, the driver stated that she returned two items, when she only returned one. I had to determine how they came up with $11.86. No update, no communication from InstaCart regarding the second deduction. People make mistakes, but this wasn't a mistake. The item she returned was not in a bag. She literally sat my food on the ground and I have camera footage. InstaCart never asked me for my video footage. I have three cameras on my property, including a doorbell camera. They just took the word of their driver and went into my bank account unauthorized for an inaccurate amount.

Been doing Instacart for about a year to supplement my income. I find it frustrating the methods and practices Instacart operates by. All too often, they tend to batch poor tippers with good tippers. Based on my experience this keeps "batch" payments low and never over an average of 10-30 dollars for my area. Not only does this practice cap the amount we can make but it provides an unequal services to the consumer. One person is carrying the entire order of the other. Sometimes I go out of my way to find additional items added, to find the perfect substitutions only to find out that person tipped 3 dollars vs 20 for the other shopper.

In addition, there are too many 3 person batches. For example: a 13 dollar order for 40 items and 3 deliveries? Two different stores? This will take me with check out times, deli wait times, finding the items and delivery over an hour. Probably close to 2 hours. So we are talking 6.50 an hour? Less than minimum wage? Sadly, those who are really struggling or relying on this Instacart for their only source of income get taken advantage of by these practices. My suggestion, stop 3 person batches with 3 deliveries unless from the same store. Stop multiple store deliveries all together. Stop batching bad tippers with good tippers. Last but not least, they have tiers for instacart shoppers. None of which provide rewards to EV drivers. Gas discounts, oil changes discounts, all useless to me. Think ahead Instacart. Poorly thought out.

Even though this was to an address I had previously ordered. They never tried reaching out to me or anything, just canceled and deactivated my entire account. I reached out to them and learned of this when Costco sent an email that my order had been canceled. But it gets way worse... I have been using Instacart for some time. I probably get my groceries from them at least three times a month. Yesterday I ordered some ready made food from the supermarket with them to deliver to my job. The supermarket is about two miles away but I can't leave so I wanted it delivered. As soon as the lady driver accepted my delivery I wrote to her to let her know that the map on the app shows my work location as being South of where I actually am. But I reassured her it was very simple, it's a major street and instead of turning south as the app says, just keep going straight. Anyway she said she understood and that she would call me when she was close anyway. According to the app she picked up the food. Then I see that she's driving around it what seemed circles, not even getting close to the major street. Then suddenly I get a message saying the order was cancelled by the driver.

I was very surprised because if she was lost she could have just called me. But the order was cancelled, as if I had never placed it and it said I was getting a refund. Last night I went in the app because I really thought that was unprofessional of the driver. No, I don't want her fired, but she should have said something. So I'm trying to see where I can leave a comment, but since it was cancelled it doesn't let you do anything. But what I did see is that Instacart was charging me $15 for cancelation. It's a lot, but I would understand if I had canceled, but why am I getting punished? And on top of that they never said, "You'll get a refund, but for $15!" They didn't even tell me.

So of course I call and I was upset, and they said, "Oh, we will wave it this time." But that's not right. That should not be their policy to begin with. I told them but of course the poor person listening to me has zero fault. I figured the best thing was to leave reviews about it so people are aware of this practice. It may make someone think twice about ordering. And to say it was waived, like it was a favor to me. That infuriated me more. Anyway, that was my experience.

Instacart rips people off that’s why they don’t give you the receipt. They charge you more money for everything. Don’t shop with them. You can save money somewhere else. They charged the customer $2 more per item. Be careful.

I didn't like the idea of having to pay for a membership to Instacart to shop at Aldi, but with my husband and I no longer able to drive to the store to buy groceries, it seemed like there was no choice to be able to get the items we needed on a regular basis. Some of the deliveries were flawless, but most had problems. Who deliberately shops for bright green bananas? In the short time we had our membership, this happened not once, but twice, by two different shoppers. We ordered fresh blueberries twice and both times they arrived with mold around the stems. My shopper notes about choosing fully ripe fruit with no signs of mold was ignored. Some of the milk and bread items they chose did not have as long of a shelf life as what you would expect, so I had to add that to the shopper's notes.

The biggest problem was when we discovered a bag of frozen honey barbecue chicken wings had been thawed and refrozen before we even opened it. We discovered that about a week after receiving it since we weren't ready to eat them yet. My husband called Customer Service to report it. He explained the situation and the agent asked or him to hold. She finally came back after holding 40 minutes and said she was still looking into it, but didn’t sound like she cared at all. She put him back on an endless hold again.

He finally hung up and called back and got a much nicer agent. After holding for another long while, she finally said she could help us and was about to give us a credit for our next order, but was interrupted by a male voice. She put my husband back on another very long hold and when she finally came back, said she couldn’t give us the refund because we had too many refunds. He explained that we had refunds for green bananas, moldy blueberries, and paper towels that the shopper couldn’t find, but didn’t refund them as promised, but those were shopper issues, not things we did. She still said our account would need to be sent to the investigations department first, but once they cleared us, she would process the refund. She asked us to wait patiently for 4 or 5 days for that to be complete and we would receive an email. He asked her to please make notations in our account so the information would not be lost and she assured him she would.

We waited and no email arrived, so I called back today. The agent I spoke with shockingly told me she had no record of us ever calling in about it at all! I was here in the room and heard my husband make that call since he was on speaker phone. Both calls as a matter of fact. But she assured me that checking our phone numbers and email account, we had never called in. Since the recording says that all calls are recorded, I asked if she could check those records and she said she was not allowed to do that. She said since we didn’t report the issue, she couldn’t possibly give us a refund because it was too late. I canceled our membership and after reading all of the other reviews about Instacart, I realize how we are so much better off now not having to deal with this horrible company. Aldi is a great place to shop in person, but they really need to find a better way for home delivery like Walmart does.

Within a month my account has been locked. This is without telling you you have only 2 attempts to log in before having the account locked. This is without ever having any payment or credit card problems. This is when your computer and/or laptop has the password saved. It's crazy to me. If they are having such issue as to lock out the customer then don't allow the credit card information to be saved it that's their excuse. Three days later, stuck at home after surgery, I have no groceries. Always when ive needed it most. Get them on the phone and nice as pie and tell you they're sending you an email but that's useless because unlocking your account requires whole separate department to look into it. so no groceries for me. and unfortunately we have no supermarkets in the SC area that deliver, like Stop and Shop Peapods up north. For such a big transient area this state is behind the times.

Enticed by the convenience of the service I signed up as a member of Instacart last year and paid the $100+ fee. I knowingly paid the membership fee, I also agreed to service fees for each order and the tip for the shopper, however what I did not know and only found out many months later is that Instacart also RANDOMLY MARKS UP EACH INDIVIDUAL ITEM THAT YOU BUY. For example onions could be $1.49 and Instacart charges you $1.89. Bagels may be $3.49 and they charge you $6.49 (this actually happened!). Instacart takes $0.40 plus for each item in addition to the membership fee, service fee, heavy lifting fee, and tip. I tried to dispute these random markups with my credit card company and was denied. **

My advise: move away from Instacart! For groceries ordering from Mariano's/Kroger/Walmart etc directly and either picking it up or having it delivered is a much better idea. Also using Amazon Fresh is still reasonable. Or if you want cheapest: shop in-store at Aldi. Instacart is not communicating in a transparent way to its customers!

I discovered Instacart which was great for being able to send my elderly parents groceries. 1st 2 to deliveries were delivery charge free. After that I understood that I would be paying delivery charges. I live at a state so I was willing to pay the individual delivery charges. After 2 weeks of signing up for instacart, I received a $99 subscription the 2" to card on top of the already expensive delivery charges. I contacted instacart as soon as I received the charge. They switched me over to 3 different people and said that they would not be able to refund my $99 Because it was one day after the 14 day free delivery promotion. Very misleading, very poor customer service.

This $99 charge is now just free money in the bank for their company. It is hard on people who are not able to afford charges like these that are not truly transparent to new customers. It is a wonderful way to get needed items to elderly people but at taking money out of innocent people's pockets. Unfortunately, I thought this service was fantastic and shared with my family. After today I have made it known to all of them of the poor customer service and the underlying charges that they would be charged. All of my family members have discontinued instacart services. How many other unknowing customers will be charged? I don't expect anything to be a free service but I do expect for a service to let me know that I will have a subscription fee after a certain time. Unfortunately, not all of the customers that would benefit from this service are able to read and understand 20 pages worth a small print. Very disappointed.

Of course nothing is perfect all the time and I understand that and I'm understanding that when you deal with people things happen. But now I don't know what is going on but today and earlier in the week when the shopper goes to check out they either don't have their Instacart debit card or they can't use it due to not updating it so the lady on the phone says. Well in my opinion this all comes down to a lack of training on their part. But I'm the one being inconvenienced and I'm considering moving on. Instacart get your crap together or you will go down the drain like so many other companies that don't listen to your customers.

Instacart stole from me. I have never once signed up for their Instacart+ membership, yet I got a $99 charge on my credit card for it. When I reached out to customer service to ask "what gives," they transferred me to another agent that tried to sell me on another, more expensive membership. I requested that they refund me immediately and cancel my account entirely. They only issued the refund - they did not cancel my account. I had to do it manually through the app and it ONLY works if you have an Apple device. That was the end of it for me. Seeing how most grocery stores offer pickup, Instacart is dying out and clearly scrambling to make a quick buck. But to steal from your customers? I think not. I filed a complaint with the BBB.

Prior to this incident, Instacart's service was mediocre at best. The shoppers would consistently screw up my order and never follow instructions. There wasn't an option to request paper or reusable bags. On multiple occasions, I've gotten the entirely wrong order. On top of everything, the amount they charge for individual items is much more expensive than the grocery store charges. I regret signing up with Instacart because I have absolutely no desire to do any more business with them, but now they have my credit card information and goodness knows how that will come back to bite me.

Orders arrive late. Shoppers buy the large size of the item you ordered or choose replacements that are twice as much money in order to increase their tip. They leave bags outside in the rain instead of listening to the delivery instructions or calling the customer to let them know their bags are outside. You’ll be on hold for an hour trying to get a resolution and still end up being ripped off. If they keep up this trend they will be going out of business. The hassle and added cost to use their service is not worth it. Just go to the store yourself.

Terrible experience after terrible experience after terrible experience. I've given Instacart so many tries and it continues to disappoint. I officially hit my limit with the last order I attempted to place. I can be understanding as there was snow on the ground, but I scheduled my delivery around 2:30 to be dropped off at 5:30, which then turned in to 6pm, then 6:30pm. I think they meant that my shopper wouldn't finish shopping until about 6:30 so my order was clearly not arriving by 6:30. I added all the substitution options and when to refund me, as with many other people, the shopper decided to substituted whatever they wanted. I had to watch my phone like a hawk.

I got a notification that my shopper finished shopping, but about 10 minutes later she was shopping again and mysteriously several items that had been purchased were no longer on the shopping list. Almost all my items were now not available and were refunded. That doesn't even make sense, if it was all checked out, why are items being removed? Needless to say by 7pm with my order still not even completed I cancelled the order which promoted a customer service rep to call and told me that the shopper "for whatever reason couldn't check out your...item X, item X" The reason was because I chatted the shopper to cancel it. Apparently my shopper was a premier shopper, if that's their "premier" service, I can only imagine how bad their standard service has gotten.

So go place a Instacart order the person with it is extremely ill so once my order arrives the two most important things they needed was missing. So it's not like I can run out to the store and go grab it, so I get a hold of insta cart they apologize, refunded me the money on the items I did not recieve then proceed to tell me they are giving me a $5 promo credit whatever (the credit they speak is on your account showing as you have to spend $30 to have the $5 promo credit to be used) what crap is that.

So we're at the last day of everything thought well hell let's give instacart another shot, so I went and did my order the night before and schedule on the times "They" offer me which there was like a 3 hour window 7am-10am next day. Well around 8am I get a notice that sorry my order is delayed so I go to check now. Mind you when I picked this time it was perfect because at 11am I was taking my friend to the doctor's to clean bill with the covid so I would be home to get them. Well go check my order delay it says 11:15. I was like panicking in a way cause I knew no one wasn't going to be home and I needed what I got due to we was going to be gone most of the day running around that a grocery store trip wouldn't be available and I couldn't re schedule due to I didn't know what time I would be home. So I called, they apologize, gave me the ** promo credit crap again. Then once I get off the phone I go to check it said 11:30.

So to end the story the shopper didn't start shopping until the time it was suppose to be schedule max time delivery (10am) and I got my order like around noonish or so cause he also had another order to do. Ridiculous they don't refund or give you credits for the inconvenience they have caused and with the covid stuff going on they should be better managed about how their customers depends on this stuff and mistakes like these are not professional or good business.

Customer service is either non-existent or horribly incompetent especially with their contrived excuses for their non-existent "security" protocols. The moment an acceptable alternative presents itself, I will not only cancel my Instacart account but I will be a perpetual thorn in their proverbial side by doing my best to dissuade anyone and everyone from having any connection whatsoever with Instacart.

I was given an Amex Gift Card for Christmas. I went to use it and found out that someone had used the entire amount of my gift card to purchase things through instacart. I called instacart and "Alex" with the "Trust & Safety" department was zero help. He ignored my email for over a month. I had to call back and submit another case only to have him reply saying "dispute it with the card company" I already explained that this was a gift card and there isn't a way to dispute the charges with them. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Poor customer service that allows hackers (thieves) to use stolen cards with no repercussion.

That is an absurd security measure for a company that only delivers food! I am beyond angry as I have never had to deal with this hassle, waste of time with any online company.

This company also charges multiple outrageous fees for a simple delivery. From now on, I will take the time to pick up my own food and NEVER use Delayacart again.

I immediately took the items back to the store the next day. The store immediately refunded the cost of the product and told me I needed to contact Instacart for the delivery fee and tip refund. I called customer service (of course you can’t understand half of what they say) and they told me it would be refunded within 5-7 business days. Did not happen!

I called again on 1/5, and was told it would be refunded within 3-5 business days. Here almost 10 days later and I still have no refund! I called for the third time today and was told because it’s been 28 days, they can no longer refund through customer service. Now I have to email Instacart to activate an appeal! If they had done their job on 12/18, or 1/5, I wouldn’t have to file an appeal! This is such a ripoff! Never again! Stay away from Instacart!

I ordered 3 bottles of a product because there was a discount with 3 purchases. Instacart GOT the discount but charged ME the FULL PRICE. This happened twice since I signed up for your so-called service with approximately 20.00 that you cheated me while YOU received BECAUSE of me. This is apparently legal stealing from me and is MY fault, Ralph's Mkt fault but NO fault on you.

This is despicable for you to actually MAKE money on my purchases and not forward it on. I would have thought you would charge me the same amount you were charged on checkout on your Instacart card but you instead cheated me. No, I am not happy, I am disgusted with your company and I will tell ALL my friends how you cheat your customers. I cancelled my account but you withheld approximately 8.00 even after you made 20.00 some dollars directly from me. I am 75 years old living on SS. Are you proud of what you are doing? Sad to say, I think you are. Corporate greed is UnAmerican in every way. I hope you fail for good American citizen's sake.

During COVID, this was not a bad service. Then after COVID, when business slowed, they got greedy and sleazy. First, they jack up the prices and say the store sets the prices, not them. I doubt that a store that has a sale going on (4/$5), would tell Instacart the price they have to charge was $4.xx an item. Second, customer service is nothing more than lip service. They told me one shopper would be banned from taking my orders, and 2 weeks later she took the order and did a poor job once again. With the first time the poor shopper, they also told me that for my inconvenience, they would give me a free month of Instacart+. That never happened. While the quality of the employees is luck of the draw, customer support is not. I'm done with this outfit.

I’ve been using Instacart for 3 years now and to say I’m disappointed by the way the company had changed it’s to say nothing. They up charge you over 20% on each item, charge you fee to “support the platform” on top of of charging premium membership fee. I ordered with them and was overcharged, I brought up the issue to their customer service (which is a completely joke), I was given some lame excuses for an explanation, wasn’t refunded and the customer service representative just left the chat before I had a chance to answer. DO NOT USE this company, it is shameless, the up charge is a ripoff and they clearly don’t care about customers at all.

I asked her if she had 4 wheel drive and she said yes. She asked me to drive up the road, take my groceries out of her Jeep and then drive back the one mile home. I told her, "No, I paid $40.00 to have it delivered and if you can't do it, you shouldn't have taken the order" and to have someone else deliver it. She refused. Contacted their out of country customer support (what a joke) and they told me they didn't want her to "risk her life" delivering groceries. They hung up on me. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. They cancelled my order and I cancelled my account. Very rude customer service and it's NOT cheap. They charge a delivery fee plus a tip for the driver, usually 20% of the total bill.

I was satisfied with how fast it was resolved, and I gave a 5 star review ending the chat. When I tried to re-order and only found out my account was deactivated! More online chatting till big surprise came, my account was marked with 'Fraud'!

I've been using this same account for the past three years, with over 20 orders and spent over $5k, and now with the first issue ever, a $40 order missing, my account is marked 'fraud', what a joke! Although, this doesn’t make sense after explaining to them that I did not sign up for membership and do not use their service. And then took several minutes until chat transferred to retention agent, who was going to again “review my account “. And then they disappeared. So I had to start over again. I should've checked reviews here. This really is a scam. I ordered an ornament from Michaels to be delivered to my house. I purchased a book ornament. I also checked the box for a refund if the item was out of stock. 1) They delivered my item to the wrong house, but on the same street. The number wasn't even close to be the same. Example: if my address is 1234 Maple St., they delivered to 6789 Maple St. I can't understand how they got the right street, but not the right house. My house is the first on the street, so the driver drove all the way to the end of the street and didn't even check the number... what kind of service is this? Thankfully, my neighbor was still in. She had been confused why a plastic bag with an ornament had been dropped in front of her house. I was ALSO confused.

    2) The ornament was an ugly bird. Even though I had checked the box for a refund if the item wasn't in stock, they still used my money to buy a CHEAPER than I paid for ornament. My ornament was $18. This ornament was $12! So they pocketed the extra. Not to mention I paid a delivery fee + tip. I wish I could give NO TIP. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I am an Instacart driver. I have been driving for a couple months for them after my full time job and on the weekends. I am a hard worker. I make sure I communicate with my customers and try and chose the best replacements as possible, and if they reject it then I refund, NP. 1. You get a batch that is at a store near your home for ex: 1 shop batch 16 items. You go to the store. Do the shopping. Enter the information with receipt by taking pics and submitting, once you confirm that you have kept the paper receipt, then it shows you where you are going, and it's 20 or 30 min away! How is a store in my neighborhood to be shopped for someone in Glen Carbon Missouri and the store is 30 minutes away? Shouldn't the driver know that ahead of time?

Then they give you about an hour and a half to do it! That is even when they give you 2 people to shop for. They make you shop for both first. Rather than let you shop and deliver for one, and then go get the other. That is why your orders are late. They post the batches with very little details, and it's just as hard for us to get help too!

Yesterday. New Year's Day. A woman that either couldn't or didn't want to go out, placed an order that I picked up. The Batch said it was $20, so I take the 25 minute right to the only store open- Walgreens where she ordered from. They did not have some of the items, and she didnt want any replacements. I drove 15 more minutes to her home in Bethalto, IL (known for prejudice people there and 40 MIN from my home, but I have no way of knowing that until I have finished shopping, where I am going).

The lady saw I was ** and her eyes bucked, and before I could get out of Bethalto my $20 batch had been reduced to $14! She took her tip cuz I am **! I was early dropping it off and everything! Instacart not only let her take my tip, but she was also allowed to leave me an undeserved bad review, that knocked me out of gold status and restricted my batches. There are people out here trying to make an honest living, and the people that aren't even having bad experiences, leaving bad reviews because they are prejudice.

I can't help it if there is a medication shortage. It speaks of it on the news! How can a customer get mad cuz you cant pull a rabbit out your butt? I'm an Instacart driver, not a freaking magician. Customers should call the stores to make sure they have the stuff in stock, if they are that picky. Do your own due diligence before sending unsuspecting shoppers out to get stuff you don't even know is available or not! It's not up to the drivers to make sure your stuff is in stock! And if you are that picky do your own shopping! People are just UNGRATEFUL! And instacart backs them!

I received several promotions at Christmas time. I hadn't used them but thought I would just keep them for a while just in case I wanted to. They were shopping delivery-type promotions. A family member threw their back out, could hardly move, and had tried what they had on hand to get better but after 24 hours was in a lot of pain and still couldn't move. Because I couldn't get to them I looked at the best promotion to get some medicine delivered to them. I had received a promotion from Instacart and so I used that one. I used the link provided by Instacart in that email. I followed the directions and it confirmed my promotion and also gave me a shopping link. I used that link to shop and place my order for delivery. I received a confirmation text from Instacart Kroger and my order was there. I had no concerns until I received my receipt.

Trying to find a way to contact instacart was difficult but finally was able to reach someone through chat. That person told me I had two accounts, one under my phone number and one under my email address and the promotion was under my email address. I advised the person that I used the instacart link and it makes you fill out its information to include your phone number and should not have been creating a 2nd account, how could that be? I didn't get a reason or an offer to correct it. So I tried to log into instacart using both methods and I could not find but one account under my email. So I think they offer promotions and won't give them out.

I could not find the 2nd account under my phone number so I don't think that was the reason but if in fact, it was...then they have a major software issue that is creating duplicate accounts. I asked that both my accounts be deleted and was assured they were. I don't know that I can depend on that but I wanted others to know this is not right. Duplicate accounts when it makes you put in your phone number yet creates a duplicate account that stores your promotions and doesn't apply them is deceiving aside from having your information elsewhere.

Last year Dec/21st/2021 I apparently set up an account with them. I think but am not sure used a free trial, I did use them twice, once, they forgot my bread, I went on a rant site via Facebook to find it had been delivered to another person who didn't order any bread from them, the second time I ordered eggs along with other items, they put the egg carton to the bottom of the bag and placed the bag on my cement porch, needless to say I had broken eggs. They did refund me the money for each item lost to me, but then I stopped using them due to my orders either being messed up or poor packaging. The other night I found they took over 100 dollars out of my checking account, I asked to be removed from their services and my money refunded to me, they of course had to try to pressure me into staying with all their promo's and perks to the business, I stood firm in what I wanted, they eventually relented and said they would.

I checked my bank statement online later to find they not only didn't refund me they also took an additional payment out. I argued with them again via emails to the point I finally called the dispute office who put me in touch with the fraud department and the fraud department cancelled my visa. To put it bluntly this company is a fraud and will rip people off for their hard earned money. My suggestion: Steer clear and just go in the store and enjoy the atmosphere.
