My home buying experience with Veterans United was smooth and enjoyable. David and Melissa were top notch when it came to customer service! Anytime I had a question or concern, they always, and I mean always, had an answer within minutes! Mine was a new home build and they worked in conjunction with the builder exceptionally well all the way to closing. I highly recommend Veterans United to anyone looking to use their VA benefits for a home loan. For me it was more than just getting a mortgage, it was like I made new friends along the way!

Truly exceptional Team!!! Very pleased with the entire process!! I was well informed regarding every aspect of the homebuying experience. The end result was definitely worth it!! We love the house and look forward to making memories for a lifetime!!

Overall, our experience was AMAZING! It was a whirlwind for sure! This was my first time buying a home and Kollin and his team provided EXCELLENT customer service, communication, and ensured my husband and I were doing everything we needed to do for a smooth home buying experience. Nick answered all questions that we had, and took time to explain the process of buying a home for first time buyers. He also was quick and efficient with the refinancing for a better rate on the house.

Veterans united and Irongate Realtors knocked it out of the park, I got the lowest interest rate I could from them and all I had to do was point at the house I wanted and the team did the rest of the heavy lifting, they accommodated my 3rd shift schedule and were very transparent with everything going on, virtually worry and stress free.

Everyone was so patient with me and helpful. There was never a time a question wasn't answered. I was never pressured and when I finally committed everyone took care of everything for me. I loved everyone I worked with. I never felt like just a customer but a respected and looked out for.

Veterans United made the entire home-buying process smooth and stress-free. Everything was explained clearly, every step felt easy, and I always felt supported. I’d absolutely recommend them to family and friends.

I would not recommend this mortgage company. Bad business practices causing Veterans to go in debt or bankruptcy. I would recommend finding another mortgage company. Horribly destroyed my family. Allowed their forced-placed homeowners insurance to demolish the home and will not repair. Caused debt and bankruptcy. Refuses to take responsibility for damages.

Buying a home can be intimidating, and you all took the guesswork out of EVERYTHING. I mean truly. Every question answered. Great response time. I was blown away. You get assigned a whole team that will handle every step of the process. They break things down into to-do lists with a tailored and detailed list. They have all of the resources you’ll need locally from realtors, home inspectors, pest control companies - I mean everything.

My loan officer Denise ** and her team was a game-changer. From the pre-approval to the closing, they were proactive, communicative, and super organized. I always knew what to expect and felt supported at every step. They explained complex terms in plain language, moved fast to clear conditions, and the closing happened on schedule. I’m so pleased with the service that I’ve already told others about my experience.

Charlie ** and his whole team were great. They always got back to me quickly. They made the process about as painless as it could have been. Charlie always had a good attitude, not in a fake customer service sort of way. He genuinely seems to enjoy helping people with buying a home

As a new homebuyer, this was probably the easiest experience to have. I am truly blessed and lucky to have had the opportunity to work with everybody on the team. Everything I asked for was provided and far as information, and timelines. I am 5-6 hour time difference but the team made sure that was not an issue. Very personable, PROFESSIONAL and knowledgeable staff throughout. I would rate my experience more than 5 stars if I could.

Everyone on the team was very kind, and always available for questions. They made the whole process stress free as possible. They were very diligent and on top of things to ensure no issues arose. I recommend any veteran use them.

Our team was exceptional, we felt they were behind us and very respectful for my husband’s service. We love the to do list and we had questions our team was right there. We spoke with Michael ** multiple times and he was gracious and helpful and willing to answer any questions we had. A couple of times it was late evening and we know our underwriters was still working on our file. We purchased a home in a month and we feel it was a very smooth system they use. My husband and I began working with this company to buy our first home. We both work and simply want to relocate to be closer to family. From the start of the process there was minimal communication between us and the lender. Our loan officer was very hard to reach. Even through email it took 3-4 business days for a reply. A lot of the process was stalled because of their lack of urgency and slow communication. It got to the point where appraisals had not been ordered, questions about employment had not been answered and verification of other documents stalled. Rather than update us on the situation they tried to deny us one week out from our closing day, we asked the sellers for an extension at our expense.

Everyone was extremely helpful and the process was seamless. I didn’t have a pre approval on file when I went to the open house, but when I emailed Chris he jumped into action to ensure I didn’t lose out on bidding for the house. From open house to closing was less than a month!

From the moment I went to Veterans Home Loans Website to use their payment calculator, then accepting their call. 20 minutes later I was pre-approved for a home loan. 25 days later I moved into my new home! Very professional team from my loan officer to my realtor and everyone in between all working for Veterans Home Loans. Illegal Activities From Veterans United Home Loan: Hello, My mother and I moved only to buy not to rent however we have been bamboozled by one of the false fraudulent realtor, who directed us to her personal friend, who claimed to have the title and deed to the property in which he in fact til this day does not have in his possession! I paid "hand money" of $500.00 which he is now attempting to claim as his due to nefarious reasons of his own, stating I did not pay for the security system in this home, I lied about my financial income, and was late on rent. However, he is only making these claims after I paid him the total amount of $1200.00. In which was only withheld due to his negligence and not producing any proper paperwork of the deed in which he is not on.

Last year I started going through chapter 13 bankruptcy which required me to go through the process of having all of my debtors write statements if they wanted to object to my bankruptcy proceedings. I had four loans that were put in my bankruptcy proceedings, and not one of them was my VA loan. Oddly enough, they are the only debtor who is systematically and egregiously objecting to my bankruptcy every single time for the last seven months. Not only that, they are not even named in the bankruptcy, aside from the fact that I owe them money for my house. I have been up to date, and even a month ahead of my payments for the year that I have had this loan.

This whole experience was incredible. Everybody on my team was wonderful. The communication was better than I expected, and they really helped explain every part of the process so that there was never any surprises. Wells Fargo Home Mortgage refused to help (even though I had 5 times the amount of equity in my home over what I was asking to replace a collapsed sewer line). Veterans United took the actual time to listen to my issues and needs and converted my "either/or" into an "and" situation: refinanced my mortgage, paid off some high interest bills, and was able to get me enough cash-in-hand for my sewer line replacement. AWESOME AND EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED!

If there were zero stars I would give it. This is not a "veteran" friendly organization. They are just another bank with the word "veteran" in the title. They are not following the VA's requests on how to treat veterans that are experiencing hardship. Although I am on a repayment plan for past due mortgage installments, they continue to report to the credit bureaus that I am delinquent and bombard me with endless calls about my account being delinquent.

I was blown away by the professionalism and amount of care that Veterans United loan team provided. Before I went to Veterans United, I was working with Navy Federal and the moment I had an issue/road block with my loan process that prevented me to buy the home immediately, I was immediately cut off and told that I was not eligible and come back when I am. However, Jay ** (Loan Officer) took the time and looked into my case and explained the reason in full. A few months later after I fixed the issues I was able to closed on my home without any issues. Overall, I am completely satisfied with the outcome and I can't ask for more. Definitely 10/10 stars!
