Veterans United is an overall awesome and convenient way for US veterans to get a home loan and get into a house of Our Own. From hurting the loan process to moving in to getting everything settled Home Security and moving companies. They do it all.

My wife was blown away at the ease of this process. Bobby ** and his team made it painless. He will be our go to guy from this point forward or as long as he will have us. We had an amazing experience with everyone that was on his team.

Jason ** and Ashley ** were great to work with! They were very attentive and patient with my questions and always answered quickly, which meant a lot to my wife and I because home buying is pretty stressful. Jason also locked us into a lower interest rate just before an increase. And their site has a monitor for rate drops. VU’s site makes uploading your documents painless and the portal lets you know when they’ve been processed. The “To Do” list also made it easy to grasp what needed to be done to get our loan approved quickly. I can’t think of a way to make that process easier.

1st - This company has nothing to do with veterans. Veterans get no benefit. It’s just a cute name. (…Of course they mention this in the small print.) 2nd - I’m a pilot and I commute to work, like more than half of us do. They could not be made to understand. They spent a month asking really ‘unintelligent questions’ over and over. They actually sent a letter to my company asking if it was OK that I lived in a different state. They would drop question bombs on me on Friday, and I’d respond and get the “I’m out of the office until Monday” message. In the end, they still chose not understand.

Amazing! We were anxious going into the home buying experience but from the concierge, to the loan officers it all went so smoothly. Love the user friendly app that is used for uploading docs and getting your to-dos done, makes things so simple and easy. Couldn’t say enough great things about VU, and the efficiency and hard work each person showed. Josie, Jake and Lacey - thank you for your support, encouragement, and guidance every step of the way!

Veterans united and Irongate Realtors knocked it out of the park, I got the lowest interest rate I could from them and all I had to do was point at the house I wanted and the team did the rest of the heavy lifting, they accommodated my 3rd shift schedule and were very transparent with everything going on, virtually worry and stress free.

I would not recommend this mortgage company. Bad business practices causing Veterans to go in debt or bankruptcy. I would recommend finding another mortgage company. Horribly destroyed my family. Allowed their forced-placed homeowners insurance to demolish the home and will not repair. Caused debt and bankruptcy. Refuses to take responsibility for damages.

Buying a home can be intimidating, and you all took the guesswork out of EVERYTHING. I mean truly. Every question answered. Great response time. I was blown away. You get assigned a whole team that will handle every step of the process. They break things down into to-do lists with a tailored and detailed list. My husband and I began working with this company to buy our first home. We both work and simply want to relocate to be closer to family. From the start of the process there was minimal communication between us and the lender. Our loan officer was very hard to reach. Even through email it took 3-4 business days for a reply. A lot of the process was stalled because of their lack of urgency and slow communication. It got to the point where appraisals had not been ordered, questions about employment had not been answered and verification of other documents stalled. Rather than update us on the situation they tried to deny us one week out from our closing day, we asked the sellers for an extension at our expense.

Everyone was extremely helpful and the process was seamless. I didn’t have a pre approval on file when I went to the open house, but when I emailed Chris he jumped into action to ensure I didn’t lose out on bidding for the house. From open house to closing was less than a month!

Illegal Activities From Veterans United Home Loan: Hello, My mother and I moved only to buy not to rent however we have been bamboozled by one of the false fraudulent realtor, who directed us to her personal friend, who claimed to have the title and deed to the property in which he in fact til this day does not have in his possession! I paid "hand money" of $500.00 which he is now attempting to claim as his due to nefarious reasons of his own, stating I did not pay for the security system in this home, I lied about my financial income, and was late on rent. However, he is only making these claims after I paid him the total amount of $1200.00. In which was only withheld due to his negligence and not producing any proper paperwork of the deed in which he is not on.
