The Veterans United Home Loans team provided me with one of the best experiences I have ever had purchasing a home. If and when I get the chance to purchase another home, Then I will definitely be using them again.

Everyone I worked with went above and beyond to help us complete all we needed for our loan. I really appreciate that. I also appreciated their follow up on things during the process. There were a couple of "bumps in the road" but they were very encouraging as we took care of them.

Kenny ** and his team were awesome and on top of the entire process, as well as any questions or concerns I had. Made the whole loan and refinance process very easy for me. I recommend anyone looking to get a VA Home Loan to use this Lender.

Brian ** and his team were great. There were some moving goal posts, and VU flexed and explained the details along the way. While I was asking questions, I never felt like I was annoying, and I never felt like I was in the dark. Brian explained the process in the depth and level of detail I needed.

Great company to work with! Candy ** led her team through a difficult mortgage, and worked hard with our realtor and title company! We had to keep rescheduling the closing due to an old quit claim that was mishandled in the past, but Candy, Madison, and the team stayed on top and got us funded quickly! 10 for 10!

We worked with Crystaline. She was incredibly helpful, great a communicating and problem solving. We locked in a lower rate than any other quote we received, 5,75% closed Dec 2025. We were able to roll our house's flooring payment into our house loan which really helps us over time.

Readily accessible, great communication and guidance. Liked having the whole team looking out for me through this home buying experience. Veteran's United walked me through getting house insurance set up and I got a great rate by bundling my car insurance with the same company. I highly recommend.

As a veteran I’ve been screwed by some other lenders, but never by veteran’s united. They have a no BS approach, their system is smooth, and their team members are consummate professionals. I’ve never felt manipulated or screwed over by them.

Amazing work, Scott and Curtis are an outstanding team who went above and beyond to make sure I closed early and were extremely professional. I needed to close in 20 days for tax reasons, everybody told me it was impossible but when I called Scott and his team they said they would ensure I was closed in time. They pushed the closing to 14 days earlier on a short notice and got me taken care of while not making me feel like a burden. We closed on time and I would recommend this team to anybody I met

Working with Veterans United overall was a very good experience. They contacted me immediately. Recommended I work with their credit team... They reached out fast as well. And their services are included in the process. I followed their instructions and my credit jumped up! Once I went back to the refi side things were moving pretty fast. My reason for 4 stars is they seemed to slow down when it came time to close. Payoff letters were being requested when we were supposed to be closing, pushing me back a couple of weeks. But once I expressed my displeasure, they picked the pace back up. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Taylor from the credit side, as well as Montgomery and Brandon on the refi side were a pleasure to work with.

The whole process with Veterans United in whole was good. There were a couple of uh-ohs but in the end, they came together and got everything back on track so that we were able to close and be in our new home for Christmas.

The entire VU team were efficient, knowledgeable and very responsive to. Any questions or concerns during the process. Veterans United's automated data collection system is easy to navigate when providing the documentation. This is the second time that we’ve used VU for our home financial services. Just about every part of my experience with Veterans United was top notch. First, the Loan Team confirmed for me that my VA benefit had not lapsed or been removed because of a loan issue on my first ever home 40+ years ago. This was something I did not know. Second each person, from the Realtor, to the Loan Concierge, to the Loan Coordinator, to the Loan Officer, to the Underwriters were all fantastic, very knowledgeable and patient answering every question. Drew made himself available at any time during this transaction. He crunched numbers on the spot for our client. Drew made himself available the weekend we went down to Texas to look at possible homes. This whole process from start to finish has been incredible and smooth.

These people have made the last week of my closing a nightmare, they have refused to answer questions, even though I was just seeking clarification for things they asked me for at 8 to 9 at night. I have had to call them 7 times in a single day to get a response to a question they asked me and I responded to in under 5 minutes. Every document we sent was ignored, and every issue was unaddressed, and no explanation was given. They asked for a document, only to admit they forgot to pull that's same document from their systems. Now I have no hope for my home, and my family is devastated. I'd blow my brains out before I worked with these people again.

I applied for a home loan through Vet United website on 10/31/2025 (along with 4 other lenders looking for the best rate). Since that time, I have been pre approved through all lenders for a home loan. During this time, I contacted my assigned loan officer (Justin P) stating my application was closed due to it being incomplete. Mind you, I contacted Justin numerous times via phone and email about the process. Anyway, after reviewing my information on the VU website, I found that my credit was pulled (they had my credit scores), and there were no requests for documents to verify (I already sent in the required documents). Vet United dropped the ball on my loan; however, I have been approved by 4 other lenders for a home. Thankfully, Vet United spared me from their inconsistent and poor customer services. No veteran should be treated this way.

Veterans United is an overall awesome and convenient way for US veterans to get a home loan and get into a house of Our Own. From hurting the loan process to moving in to getting everything settled Home Security and moving companies. They do it all.

My wife was blown away at the ease of this process. Bobby ** and his team made it painless. He will be our go to guy from this point forward or as long as he will have us. We had an amazing experience with everyone that was on his team.

They were very attentive and patient with my questions and always answered quickly, which meant a lot to my wife and I because home buying is pretty stressful. Jason also locked us into a lower interest rate just before an increase. And their site has a monitor for rate drops. VU’s site makes uploading your documents painless and the portal lets you know when they’ve been processed. The “To Do” list also made it easy to grasp what needed to be done to get our loan approved quickly. I can’t think of a way to make that process easier.

1st - This company has nothing to do with veterans. Veterans get no benefit. It’s just a cute name. (…Of course they mention this in the small print.) 2nd - I’m a pilot and I commute to work, like more than half of us do. They could not be made to understand. They spent a month asking really ‘unintelligent questions’ over and over. They actually sent a letter to my company asking if it was OK that I lived in a different state. They would drop question bombs on me on Friday, and I’d respond and get the “I’m out of the office until Monday” message. In the end, they still chose not understand.

Amazing! We were anxious going into the home buying experience but from the concierge, to the loan officers it all went so smoothly. Love the user friendly app that is used for uploading docs and getting your to-dos done, makes things so simple and easy.
