The entire process with the Veterans United home loan program was beyond outstanding!! My loan officer Shane ** called me within 5 minutes after filling out my application on a Sunday weekend and got the ball rolling immediately, which foremost set the stage for getting me into my now proudly owned home in 35 days. The whole team was super friendly and prompt in all the departments. Far beyond my expectations working with the Veterans United Home Loan program in the Alabama/Mississippi location!

Working with Veterans United was a great experience the entire way. From the start, Reed was very friendly, passionate about with veterans, and flexible enough to work with my wife and I who in two different time zones. He was very responsive to any questions we had and made sure to find time for calls if we were looking for a detailed explanation. We ended up walking away from the first house but closed on the second, it was an easy transition. And we were even able to close earlier than expected. The app is easy to use and keeps this organized. Overall 10/10.

To be quite honest, I was totally blown away by the team that worked my house purchase project. I had a bad experience with the original real estate agent, a problem that was quickly resolved, without question. From the moment I was assigned to Samantha, all the negative feelings evaporated. She was absolutely brilliant in what she did. She guided me through the process without complaint, giving me enough information to soothe the savage beast within me, and she answered my questions with professional competence, fully and without exasperation, even when my own questioning got a bit sideways. At no time, at all, did I ever wonder about the team. Not one moment, which for me, is unusual. I give them and the entire VU organisation my highest marks!

Wes reached out to me and also Dika. I shared with them I was homeless 3 years ago when I was over come with addiction and I overcame that addiction and got clean 3 years ago but besides that Wes and Dika really listened to me and did not just look at me as a number but they cared and looked at me as a human and really cared. I honestly was scared that they would deny me because of my divorced situation with the ex. Incredible: the best word to describe Jeremy and his team. My house hunting journey was a long four months. Lost so many homes trying to use a family friend realtor. Everything was great. From start to finish Torri and the team had my back, ensured I was setup and good to go, and took so much stress off of me. I'm a veteran and I went to Veterans United Home Loan for a Townhouse I was looking to purchase with my son. I had to do a conventional loan because they told me I could not use my VA benefits when purchasing a home with any but a spouse. Because I was purchasing with my son I could not use VA benefits. So this was my first conventional loan. VUHL had a program to give a separate Downpayment loan. I was asked to put down $5000 and was told this money would go to the Downpayment. In the end the title company used my money for the closing costs even though I had a deal where the seller was covering closing costs.

The only reason the rating is lower is because of O'Neil our real estate agent. The rest of our staff Brandon, Doug and Desi were outstanding to work with during our home buying process. O'Neil was strong at the beginning of the process, particularly when it came to scheduling showings, building rapport with the sellers, and understanding our needs as buyers. However, several important details were not effectively communicated to the sellers or properly reflected in the contract documentation.

Outstanding experience with the whole process. Joel and his team were amazing to work with, they eased my mind when I had worries, reassured my doubts and were completely open and honest every step of the way. I would highly recommend this team to any of my fellow veterans. Extremely thankful to have worked with Joel, Lindsey and the whole Veterans United group.
