This is a disgusting company you should avoid at all costs. Avoid, avoid, avoid. I made a simple inquiry about a real estate property in Stonington Connecticut. I never got a response from the realtor. Instead, I got a barrage of phone calls from veterans United sometimes 15 in a row. They wouldn’t leave me alone. I had to block their phone number. Next I had a bunch of text messages which I thought were from the realtor and I explained I wanted the answers to my questions. I seem to get some inquiries about if I had any interest in any other properties, but instead, I realized it was veterans United again harassing me about applying for a loan through them.

You guys made this process seamless and easy. You were on top of everything, and being a first time homebuyer, I've heard some horror stories. Gave me sound advice from the first conversation and got me a pre approval letter faster than another lender who was "actively" working on my loan. I could not be happier.

Casey & Company were awesome all around! Very helpful and made things easy. 10/10 would recommend! From the origination of my loan to closing day, they were helpful the entire way. The to do feature on the company’s app made doing my part a piece of cake. Highly recommend, very friendly and competent.

If I could give them a higher rating than 10 I would. Our journey started with what I thought was junk mail. The wife and I jokingly said maybe we should try it. When I was told that we were pre-approved I could not believe it. Fast forward a few months we found a home that we both really liked. So our home buying experience started. About that time I was hearing about a bunch of scams going on acting like services for veterans. So my guard went up and I started to act like a jerk. Not just a jerk but that one person that most people know. Yea the one that every time they walk into a room everyone turns and does their best to not to have a conversation with. We stumbled across our dream home in the morning, had a preapproval letter that afternoon, and made an offer that weekend. Our Loan officer, Gerrit **, worked over the holiday weekend to educate the seller who did not understand what a "VA" loan meant. Gerrit and his team worked tirelessly to get the documentation needed to close while we were out the country and unreachable...above and beyond...10 stars if I could. We closed on our dream home 28 days after walking through it for the first time, and it would not have been possible without Gerrit and the rest of the VU team!

Veteran United Home Loans process was wonderful! We reached our goal. From day one after I sought out the company, a young lady reached out and started the process of working on our credit scores. Kara was very helpful and encouraging. She kept us abreast of what we needed to do to get the ball rolling. Once that was achieved we connected with our loan officer. He connected us with the concierge team. Brian, our officer always made himself available for any questions and touched bases constantly throughout the process. I worked with a couple of realtors only because we changed our location for our dream home. They were all upfront and very professional. Our final realtor & their team, the Corden Group was awesome! The whole process took a minute but the loan team I had was very careful about having all my necessary paperwork needed to reach closing and we did. :)

Schandler was absolutely amazing from our very first conversation. The perfect house came up on the market and we had to move quickly because we didn't have financing secured and we were not pre-approved yet. Schandler worked very hard to make it happen, get our pre-approval and application done asap. I let him know from the very beginning that I was price shopping due to interest rates being so high. He not only went to bat for my family, but he secured us a great deal that other major banks were unable to beat or even match. He kept us in the loop through the entire process and his team was able to get us approved and ready to close early (unfortunately we couldn't close early due to the sellers, but VU and my family were ready!).

The whole process was pretty smooth. Just minor things would come up but it wouldn't ever take long to fix. Everyone I worked with was great! Got set up with a realtor in the area and he was great to work with as well. Seemed like he helped me as a friend even though he was just doing his job. Would’ve been tough to navigate without the help of my realtor and loan team.

If I had to have one critique, it would be the underwriters seemingly forgetting there was a global pandemic and record number of unemployment a few years ago Trying to write a story as to why I wasn't working during the pandemic was a bit odd. The only time in my life I wasn't working and I had to write multiple stories as to why. Pick up a newspaper once in a while. I guess it is easy to do things like that if you do not have direct contact with the customer.... But, in the end, they got it done and all was well. Closed with no issues.
