This is my second time working with Veterans United and I will definitely use them again in the future. The process is seamless and the customer service is phenomenal. I couldn’t be happier with the team I had this go around.

There are SO many positive things to say about Veterans United! As first time home buyers, they made the entire process from start to finish, incredibly seamless. From working with us to build our credit up where it needed to be, all the way through to closing day and beyond. Excellent customer service and the best part is, they made the process EASY! Whether a new homebuyer or experienced, I would highly recommend working with Veterans United Home Loans for all homebuying needs!

Veterans United made the process of buying a home so easy. Their app was easy to navigate. The people who work with you have such positive attitudes and are so willing to help you with this process to talk to you and walk you through anything you don’t understand and anything you’ve questions about not just from the homebuying process, but also the moving process. They have so many resources. I would definitely recommend this lender for anyone who is a veteran who is looking to buy a home.

Easy organization to work with. They are completely familiar with veterans and military members benefits and all the crazy language we use in the armed forces. Very quick and efficient work coupled with a very nice personal experience. I will certainly use Veterans United! Great job to the entire team that helped us throughout the home buying journey.

Got preapproved (for more than they should have in retrospect). Paid earnest money and jumped through all the hoops. They started having issues with the underwriting, but still went ahead with the $725 appraisal. The business day after the appraisal, they denied the financing. Throughout the entire process communication was awful, unless they needed something.

The team was fantastic and the app was smooth and easy. Whole experience was fantastic. The team was friendly and thorough and helpful. Our agent was wonderful and prompt and very personable. Would recommend them to anyone. They were awesome.

My team at Veterans United was great! They went above and beyond in helping us with an IRRL. Even though there were some unexpected hiccups, my team made sure that we were able to close. 10 put of 10 I would recommend.

I closed on my VA mortgage yesterday. My lawyer at closing stated that Veterans United had made sure everything went smoothly, and that they had all of the answers and any issues that came up were handled in a very timely manner. I’m a stressful person by nature, and they managed to talk me down for many situations which were only really stressful to myself because they had matters well in hand.

Initially my score was not great but I was given clear guidance on what to do to fix and had monthly check-ins to see my progress. I believe a key thing that made the process easy as well was the user friendly app where I was able to upload all required information. Outstanding. I have no words. We came across obstacles that would have halted an approval with anyone else, including a spiteful former landlord who tried to retaliate for us citing landlord-tenant law by refusing to cooperate and sign paperwork stating we always paid our rent the four years we rented from her. The loan team at Veterans United went to their management and went to bat for us because she was even hateful to them, so exceptions were made. As a new home buyer I was not looking for a home when I ended up in the buying process! It sort of just happened and to make a long story short I pivoted from two other properties pretty much turning on a dime and going a different direction each time and from the Seller John, Loan Officer Katie and her team including Brie, down to my agent Robert, they all turned in that same direction in unison! They were helpful, explained everything, listened to us and put up with my bipolar wife when she was stressed out and having her meltdowns. The real estate agent we were given found us a house with exactly what my wife asked for. We were in our house in just over a month even with a holiday thrown in there.

BORROWERS BEWARE: They sold my loan less than a month. They did not package my loan properly before passing it off to my current mortgage company. As a result, my 2021 taxes were paid late and no one wants to accept responsibility for the late fees and penalties. Stating I signed a document to hold them harmless regarding any taxes. No, I signed the document stating I would apply for 100% disabled veteran's tax exemption, but they threw in the hold harmless statement in the same document. Brood of Vipers! The taxes were from 2021 which weren't paid until October 31, 2023.

My team was incredible. I'd give them max stars. Sarah and Andrea was phenomenal, and any bump in the road was addressed by them quickly and effectively. I will certainly call them again in the future on my next VA home loan.

I have documentation of having served Honorably a total of 9 years in the U.S. Army Reserves and the Indiana National Guard (6 years required for VA loan approval). My Retirement records only indicate 5 years 9 months of retirement credit and I've checked and double-checked with every records entity with no further information nor explanation given. I feel as though Veterans could have continued to give their assistance with the VA. I wasn't afforded the opportunity to have my down payment waived and will now pay PMI until the VA corrects their stance in this matter. One who served honorably is/has not been honored properly

From the first contact on or about 9/30/23 to the closing on 11/16/23, the support, information and education was always there.. Whenever I had to provide documents or review contracts, disclosures and applications, everything was explained in plain language with minimal jargon. When I had insurance questions and concerns, Abigail ** was right there to help me wade through the minutiae to impartially help me make the best insurance coverage decisions. This experience will probably never be topped. Feel like it was a team of Allstars! I had the impression that the lender was the one to slow the pace. Absolutely not true here! Andy had his foot on the gas the entire time. He could have closed this deal way faster. In our case the seller was the limiting factor! The team was fantastic. Had my well-being in mind. I would have ended up with a higher rate, but got back too much on closing. Andy used that to get a lower interest rate. Might be a standard practice, but felt like he had my back! This is a disgusting company you should avoid at all costs. Avoid, avoid, avoid. I made a simple inquiry about a real estate property in Stonington Connecticut. I never got a response from the realtor. Instead, I got a barrage of phone calls from veterans United sometimes 15 in a row. They wouldn’t leave me alone. I had to block their phone number. Next I had a bunch of text messages which I thought were from the realtor and I explained I wanted the answers to my questions. I seem to get some inquiries about if I had any interest in any other properties, but instead, I realized it was veterans United again harassing me about applying for a loan through them.

You guys made this process seamless and easy. You were on top of everything, and being a first time homebuyer, I've heard some horror stories. Gave me sound advice from the first conversation and got me a pre approval letter faster than another lender who was "actively" working on my loan. I could not be happier.
