I appreciate everyone's hard work. The only thing is with my realtor being so responsive and attentive, I wished so were the loan agents. I was constantly reminded to get homeowners insurance even though there was a reason for my waiting that made it a bit stressful, but we did manage to push through, so it worked out.

I can confidently say that without the team I had helping me through the process I'd still be stuck looking for a home, at best. The whole process was smooth and although I was uncertain of different parts of the home buying process, my team had subject matter experts that were able to answer my questions in a timely matter and in a way, I understood it. I will recommend them all day.

Last year I started going through chapter 13 bankruptcy which required me to go through the process of having all of my debtors write statements if they wanted to object to my bankruptcy proceedings. I had four loans that were put in my bankruptcy proceedings, and not one of them was my VA loan. Oddly enough, they are the only debtor who is systematically and egregiously objecting to my bankruptcy every single time for the last seven months. Not only that, they are not even named in the bankruptcy, aside from the fact that I owe them money for my house. I have been up to date, and even a month ahead of my payments for the year that I have had this loan.

This whole experience was incredible. Everybody on my team was wonderful. The communication was better than I expected, and they really helped explain every part of the process so that there was never any surprises. This was my first home buying experience, so I was anxious and nervous at the start of it, but Ty and the rest of the team did a wonderful job making sure the whole process was as stress free as possible. I will never use another vendor, Veterans United is simply the best.

I'm very glad I chose Veterans United to purchase my first home. The whole home buying process seemed very overwhelming but they somehow made it understandable in bite size pieces. I was super anxious and lost at the beginning and they held my hand at each step. With their insurance brokerage, I found cheaper auto, home, and flood insurance.

I'm a rideshare driver and never thought I could qualify for a mortgage. Other lenders in the past said getting a mortgage was impossible for a gig worker. Then I heard about Veteran United and 2 months later I'm writing this review from my new home. Words cannot describe what the wonderful people at Veterans United did for me.

Honestly, thank you for making this process as easy on me as possible. It was nice to see loan documents as they became relevant instead of all at once and to have a knowledgeable team available to help me with this process. I am outstandingly busy with work most of the time and was able to work on things as time allowed while traveling to a few different places for work. There have been some unexpected things with the house that I really hoped would have been caught with the inspection, and not something I would have seen until renovations were underway, as I am pretty sure it is not okay to pull back baseboards and carpet while looking at a house you intend to buy. However, it is what it is, construction is underway, the house and property are exactly what I was looking for (wanted something I could remodel and improve upon) and VU and the team made the process very easy and streamlined. I've tried and tried and tried to get some sort of loan after being in my home for 20 years. Wells Fargo Home Mortgage refused to help (even though I had 5 times the amount of equity in my home over what I was asking to replace a collapsed sewer line). Veterans United took the actual time to listen to my issues and needs and converted my "either/or" into an "and" situation: refinanced my mortgage, paid off some high interest bills, and was able to get me enough cash-in-hand for my sewer line replacement. AWESOME AND EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED!

This is the third time we've used Veterans United for our mortgage needs. The first was a refinance and the other two were home loans. We have not had any issues or concerns each time we used them. Very attentive and responsive during the whole process. Document upload was easy and efficient. They also worked well with my real estate agent from the day we made an offer all the way to the day we closed.

The initial process was great. Had a great team. The minute we closed I found the credit cards they promised to pay off has not occurred, every though I've asked several times when this would happen. It hasn't helped yet. Closed on November 27 it is now January 13. Can't say much for the service I have received.

If there were zero stars I would give it. This is not a "veteran" friendly organization. They are just another bank with the word "veteran" in the title. They are not following the VA's requests on how to treat veterans that are experiencing hardship. Although I am on a repayment plan for past due mortgage installments, they continue to report to the credit bureaus that I am delinquent and bombard me with endless calls about my account being delinquent.

I was blown away by the professionalism and amount of care that Veterans United loan team provided. Before I went to Veterans United, I was working with Navy Federal and the moment I had an issue/road block with my loan process that prevented me to buy the home immediately, I was immediately cut off and told that I was not eligible and come back when I am. However, Jay ** (Loan Officer) took the time and looked into my case and explained the reason in full. A few months later after I fixed the issues I was able to closed on my home without any issues. Overall, I am completely satisfied with the outcome and I can't ask for more. Definitely 10/10 stars!

I've heard a lot of negatives about the company from real estate agents and sellers, especially in the early stages of hunting a new home. If we had not purchased a home before and worked with other lenders, I could understand how people came to this because the VA themselves are hard to deal with and have many stipulations. Since Veterans United is seen as the face of this purchase, it's easy to blame them for late closing dates and other variables. But, having the experience I do, I can say I found Tanner and the rest of the team to be very easy to deal with. Overall, I feel safe recommending them if you are trying to use your VA loan to purchase a home. With all things be sure to do your research beforehand so you can enter the housing market with confidence.

The worst experience with a lender I have ever had. I absolutely do not recommend using them. Endless requests for additional information. Their underwriters do not know the difference between a tax deduction and an income loss. The morning I was supposed to close, the lender called me and let me know that the underwriter still wasn't happy, and requested additional documentation. This after not contacting me for two weeks so I had no idea there were any issues at all. Apparently they didn't believe that the money in my accounts was my money. My lender wouldn't return calls to my realtor. Nor would they give him any information on the status of the loan, despite being past the closing date. Absolutely horrible experience.

Highly recommend David ** and the VU Team. Davis and his team truly care about doing the right thing for people and that was evident from the start. The team even sent us a personalized house warming gift for our baby that is due in October. Would recommend anyone to VU.

The "To-Do" list on the app allows you to answer the necessary questions from anywhere and is a good repository for all important documents. Kenny is the glue that held our team together. His team (Jamey and Kevin) work tirelessly for you and not for the bank. They are on top of things to the point when you see a notification on your phone you know you are one step closer to home ownership. Most importantly they do not push the "up sale" of products. While they have opportunities to lock in your interest rate or to add an ADT security system to your home, it is an option and they do not beat you over the head with it.

Out of all three lenders we were in between, there is no doubt in our minds we would have been lost had we chosen anyone else. This being our first home loan (VA loan) I can't attest for anyone else's experiences but have read plenty of nightmarish stories about the lending process from offer to closing. This was not the case for us. We made sure to put in as much work as possible to ensure the entire VU team had what they needed when they needed it in terms of any requested paperwork. This lead the team to ask us if we wanted to close an entire week early! Would have been a two week close instead of three which is bananas from what we hear. If you have any doubts, don't. Most likely won't be working with another lending service when it comes to refinancing or purchasing another home.

From start to finish, I received phenomenal service from everyone...let them know everything you are going through. They will assist you in finding your forever home, or second home....vacation home, etc...

Veterans United (VU) is a top notch organization. I would highly recommend any veteran in need of a VA loan for a home purchase to make use of VU. They are extremely professional and knowledgeable on the process and make the process smooth as you can ever hope to have. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to work with these awesome people.

This company does such an amazing job keeping you on track. The updated To-do list in my portal and detailed instructions on what they needed and how to obtain them was amazing. The team reached out constantly to make sure I was taken care of every step of the way making this process feel like a walk in the park compared to some of the horror stories I have heard about purchasing a home.

Ty did an amazing job supporting our adventure for over a year. Even when we said enough is enough he called and help us walk through frustrations. If not for the personal touch he brought to our home search we would have probably found an alternate lending source. Everyone my wife and I have spoken to and that has assisted us on purchasing a home has been very patient, understanding and helpful. We managed to purchase a home while I was on deployment. Being an active duty sailor and being on deployment means it is very difficult to communicate and make choices, especially when going in and out of communication availability. I was fortunate enough to have my wife make choices on my behalf and they were very understanding and informative with us while assisting us through the process. There was not a question left unanswered and I have no doubts. I genuinely believe no one else could have made this happen other than the great people at Veterans United.
