American Hartford could improve their guides a little. This was a first-time experience for me, so I was a little green. My agent and I emailed, which was very good, but there were a few times I had to speak with him personally to get everything right. Other than that, it went very well and I was very pleased. I just took and hid everything in my safe. We'll see what happens in 10 years or so.

American Hartford's reps went through everything and followed up. Right now, they followed up with a couple of messages that things have been delayed as far as getting our order to Texas where it's going to be tapped. I would tell my friends to go on and work with American Hartford. It's a great place to have things done.

It took a while to get everything done, but when everything was finished, it was very easy. Working directly with the reps at American Hartford Gold was good. The wire transfer was the hard part but they didn't have anything to do with that.

Satisfied with the customer service and will recommend their company in the future. We had some misunderstandings about what was discussed over the phone as to covering the fees for storage, we worked that out. We also had some disagreement as to the value of some of the product, so I went to a reputable coin and metal dealer in my state to have a independent analysis of the coin values, the result was that they were pretty much spot on, that left me feeling more secure in this transaction.

In working with Machi ** re: my initial purchase of gold coin investment, I am confident of his suggestions. My confidence is derived by his explanation and evaluation of various purchases and potential returns, gains or losses, based on economic markets fluctuations. I thought American Hartford would be the most honest. I was lied to on several occasions. I had called numerous times trying to get a couple of questions answered, and it was very voiding what I wanted. So, I wasn't very happy about that.

The reps I worked with were pretty good, although they sometimes pushed a little much. I bought some silver to put in our IRA and the only thing so far is I haven't heard when the actual metals get delivered. It's been about a month.

They were very nice people and they were very friendly and helpful. They answered my questions and they seemed to know what they were talking about.

My order was delayed as Hartford was really busy and I understood that. But I got my order and I'm happy with it. It was also nice to talk to real people when I was ordering things. And they were very responsive to my calls and calling me back. I'd recommend them.

In short, I’m a pain in the butt when it comes to researching a purchase. The consideration and attention to myself and my inquiries was exceptional at a minimum. The entire process with John ** was outstanding and I anticipate a future purchase without doubt.

The communication at American Hartford Gold could be improved. They weren't upfront with their whole thing. The rep wasn't clear on the phone. I got an email from them but he had the wrong address. He would have mailed it to the wrong place if I hadn't followed up. This is my first time. The thing that bothered me the most is that I know the price of gold is 1,900, which was high in January. I happened to buy it at the high. I didn't know there was such a big difference.

They're a little slow on getting the stuff transacted. But, it's not been terrible. They met what they needed to do. They also did a good job in making sure that there was enough diversification so it all wasn't in one spot, and then also assisted in what the lowest possible additional charges would be incurred if I went with certain metals.

There's a problem because they haven't been able to source. About $3,000 is still outstanding and I keep getting these delayed notices. It's been since the beginning of the year. Some of the silver coins they bought apparently aren't available. But customer service was good. Alex was very straightforward. Then he transferred me to somebody else who did the buying. But I'm a little disappointed with the pricing, but that was all I could get.

I liked American Hartford, but I got sent to three different people and I was not very happy. They told me to send a check within two days and I did. But it was on a Friday, so they didn't get it until Monday. I called on Monday and they said that they had gotten it in. But I sent it to the address they gave me and they said that went directly to the bank. So, I asked them to call me back on my cellphone when they did get it through the finance. But they called me on my office phone and I didn't get to call until the next day.

American Hartford is a good company. They were responsive. The only negative thing I had was when it came down to the actual coins and the I didn't get to see an invoice until after I paid. That was disturbing to me. They could give a better understanding of exactly what coins a person is getting and the pricing of each. I had to go back and calculate to make sure I got a good deal.

I had a pleasant and easy experience with them.

They did okay. I really like Jason a lot. He's a very people-oriented person and he really comes across as very warm and caring. Dan is very business and, “Just the facts, ma'am.” He can be a tad short with you, but that's okay.

Everybody is knowledgeable about the price per ounce of gold. But apparently, there are other collectible type of coins that you can buy, and I don't know how true it is. You go into it thinking that Gold is $2,000 an ounce and if I buy the equivalent of 5 ounces of gold, I should be paying $10,000 for it. But sometimes you wound up paying more. There are a lot of moving parts to it, pricing-wise, the spread and the markup that left a little bit to be desired in turn. But it's not an American Hartford Gold thing. It's more of an industry thing.

The people from American Hartford Gold were congenial, polite, and willing to help and answer questions. They offered their information on which areas I should consider because the value, profit margin was easier and better to deal with. The company is great and easy to deal with.

American Hartford Gold called back, gave me the initial information that I requested, and called back several times to check in and helped me when I had finally made the decision. I got an email today that they were still in process. It was very well explained and simple to do. I've been pleased.

They're excellent. They were very supportive, answered my questions, called me up to see if I understood everything, and I never had a problem. They made it very clear that they're making a percentage off of it and this is what they're doing. Also, when you order, somebody will call you up once you made the payment and they'll say, "This is what we recommend, but what would you like?" They explained to me exactly what was gonna happen. They explained to me that it could go down some, but over time, it doesn't. They gave a reason why I should do this one or this one.

It was good with American Hartford Gold. I got exactly what they said I was gonna get. I was very happy. I spoke to three people and they were pleasant. Whenever I made a phone call, they'd call me right back and answered all my questions. I would do it again if I had more money.

I read the reviews for American Hartford and they were good. Customer service did what I wanted and I really liked the guy I was dealing with. The only thing is I've been waiting for about three weeks for my gold and silver. I'm supposed to find out this week about the delivery date.

American Hartford Gold has been very professional. But at times, they've been less than that. I ordered my stuff, paid in cash, wired the money. And it has been 34 days and I've not had a phone call regarding how I could expect my shipment is on the way. But I put in a second order. And it has been almost 16 days since that order has been, yet nothing. They get your money, and they don't give a hoot whether I get their products that they said they would get delivered. I've got a third order just sitting there. A couple of IRAs, as soon as they get it. And they should have it quickly. But nobody has called me on my shipments. I've called them twice asking about shipment. They've got 28 days. That's all I heard. I'd like to know what the status of it is to a tee.

Richmond ** and his entire team help me through this arduous task for a person like me. Their helpfulness, and patience with me was much appreciated, and through the whole process were nothing but professionals.

American Hartford Gold has been around for a long time. It's a family-owned type of thing. They also have really good ratings. I'm still a little leery of the whole thing because I gave them 50 grand and I haven't received a thing yet but it takes a while. I started on January 20th and they said four to six weeks. Vince was my rep and he was fine. He did what he said he was gonna do. the only thing was I told him I wanted to do 80% silver and 20% gold. I've looked over what I purchased and Vince got me 40% gold and 60% silver. I get $20,000 worth of gold and $30,000 in silver. I have the right to return it after 30 days if I don't receive what I think I should have gotten.

I've had very good experience working with Nathan. He reaches out from time to time to touch base with me and to see if I have questions or help with anything regarding my acct! I appreciate that! Overall it's been a pleasure working with him!

I understand on his end the timelines are crunchy for those guys most likely.

I don't understand a lot of things about money. I've never been a heavy investor. Nathan was very patient with me and asked me if I understood after he explained something. If I didn't, he would go over it again. He went over with me how it was divided up between silver, gold and platinum. And he said it would take four to six weeks to reach me. He gave me a lot of statistics about the need to diversify whatever you purchased between gold, silver and the other. And he explained, "It may surprise you, but silver had outperformed gold in many of these years passed." So, I gave an equal distribution between the three. It has been above board.

I liked American Hartford's physical gold storage. I have the gold in a storage unit and not pay for money. You call, you transfer funds, and you can pick what sort of metals you want. American Hartford has recommendations and things they wanna sell you. But I don't trust anybody but myself to make decisions. I got a mix of metals. The only thing is somebody was dropping the ball somewhere and not doing the right thing to get my funds transferred over. It seemed to be a real headache. That aside, I'd recommend American Hartford.

They answered all the questions I got into the screen. I got gold and silver from them.

My rep Bill did a good job. He explained more about the gold and silver markets to me and it was very informative. I appreciated that. When we had to make process changes from one place to another, I figured who it was. Somebody else came on the hone and they handled everything. My wife wanted to diversify and have a different vendor for a different account. We did American Hartford and they were okay. But they made quite a few mistakes like having wrong addresses and they had to be corrected at different times. It took a while to get things straightened out but they did. They have quite a few different people and departments and they don't seem to completely communicate between departments. That aside, customer service gave different options and information on the different types of gold and bullion and different types of investments.

They're very good as far as being persistent in follow-up. I have one concern and once I got the deal, I tried to call twice but I haven't gotten a phone call back. I'm not sure if once they got the deal, they closed out their books. But the guy assured me that he's my contact person. I've tried him twice over the span of three weeks. When I was on the phone with them, they were able to answer. They were also very knowledgeable and experienced, so I felt comfortable moving forward.

I called Hartford, and they were responsive. The gentlemen I worked with were terrific as well, so I decided to go forward with them. I decided to invest in some hard assets and to start with a small amount to see how everything went. It went smooth on Hartford's end. On my end, it was a pain in the butt, because wire took forever. Other than that, everybody was great on that end, so I'll likely get some more. Also, I would give people the phone number of the two gentlemen I spoke with and tell them they'll take care of them.

Working with American Hartford didn't seem for real. It's real laid back-like and I didn't think it would be laid back like that. I actually had to ask and they said it's a real thing and so far, so good. It's a good place to put your money.

I responded to an email promotional offer from Hartford yesterday, and when I called Tyler ** answered and explained the promotion and the steps needed to proceed. Tyler suggested I send payment into Hartford via wire yesterday for the quickest service to process my order, so I immediately went down to my bank and wired $25K per his instructions. Hartford accounting dept received my wire yesterday 3 hours later, but Tyler stated he could not contact me back until this morning. Tyler contacted me back, and proceeded to inform me that whatever I ordered today would take 4-12 weeks for delivery.
