They change their log in system every few months to try and play gotcha with late payments. I just spent 3 hours on the phone with them trying to remedy the situation with some woman who barely spoke English, and she kept insisting it was all my fault. Stay away. FAR away.

This company is a joke. I got talked into doing a rebate with them if I signed up for their CC. I signed up and have been waiting 3 weeks for the card. I actually received an invoice before I even got my card. I can't sign up online without the card. I tried calling customer service, every time it says a 30 minute wait. Finally when I got someone they said I need to wait for my card. As soon as I get my CC, going to pay balance and happily chop that card up to never be used again. Avoid Synchrony Bank at all costs!

Horrible!! Their payment processing or a major issue in the timeline for it to post. It almost seems to be on purpose, these people close my account when their payments are taking too long to post, and then it’s rejected. They closed my account.

I have a Sam’s Mastercard via Synchrony Bank. I’ve had the card for years and it has a zero balance and is valid until 2030. I attempted a purchase which was DECLINED! What the… I called the Synchrony Customer Service number to complain and was told that they deactivated my card because they need to verify my address. You’ve got to be kidding, I’ve lived at the same address for more than 20 years and all of my Synchrony statements are electronic! Synchrony Bank Sam’s Credit Card is **! Don’t waste your time - deal with a creditor who values you as a dedicated customer.

Worst Customer Service Experience in my life. Went to use my newly issued card, got "flagged" for "Fraudulent Use", had to "verify" my identity. Giving the last 4 of my social and phone numbers associated with the account weren't "good enough", had to submit a "selfie video" of myself plus photos of the front and back of my driver's license - then wait to get a "code" sent to my phone - then call back customer service with that code and jump through even more hoops. I was told that the original reason the card was "declined" was to "protect me from myself". WOW. Ended up making the purchase with another credit card that didn't ask me to prove my identity over and over again. NEVER AGAIN.

I have been a Lowe's credit card holder for around 20 years. Never been late or missed a payment. Have done about $20000 in business. One day Synchrony canceled my card saying I was a credit risk. I have an A+ rating and had a score over 800 (till this). No good reason, just got booted. Follow up letter said they can do anything at any time. Only reason I can see is that last 10 years only paid out about $100 in interest fees. Wanted to see how bad a risk I was, went to Home Depot and opened an $8000 line of credit same day. So now they get all of my business.

I have been trying to resolve an issue with Synchrony Bank for over a year. I finally received a letter where the case is closed. They had communication with me and now case is CLOSED. I bought a defective phone on eBay. Many attempts were made to get the dispute resolved, to no avail. They provided paperwork to me about the transaction etc. BUT... NOTHING where I tried to resolve the matter with the seller. They stated the seller sent me a return shipping label. I wonder where that was. NEVER did I see such a label. Bottom line STUCK and CHARGED for a phone in the amount of 529.00. WHAT AN INVESTIGATION ON THEIR PART. A senior age 68 and a VETERAN to be put through such an ordeal. THE RICH get RICHER and the POOR GET POORER. What a shame because at other times they always assisted me in matters of disputes. SO MUCH FOR BEING A VALUED CUSTOMER.

I would give them zero stars if able. This is by far the absolute worse credit card company I’ve ever dealt with. They cancelled our cards today (without notice, fraud, or our request) after putting 2 new cards in the mail. So when I went to use the Sam’s Club card today it returned a “Invalid Card” notice to the place of business I was trying to use it in. They tried it 3-times and it returned the same message. When I called Synchrony they could only state that the card was cancelled and new ones were issued. When I asked why, they said it was a periodic card change out.
Then I called Synchrony and challenged why would they cancel current cards before we received new ones; they couldn’t answer that question. Multiple calls to customer service were worthless and often rude. Strongly encourage others to look elsewhere for credit cards. Also suggest the Sam’s Club should reconsider their credit services contract with Synchrony as it reflects very poorly on them too (unless you understand that Synchrony is not part of Sam’s club). For the record - I have a flawless credit report and scores well over 800; this review is not a sour grapes complaint over credit.

I took a 12 month no interest loan from Newegg through Synchrony Bank. I made 11 payments via direct payment. When the last payment was due, I contacted Synchrony to have the last payment made (30 days before it was due). They told me to make the payment via their website. But I told them I could not get into my account because Synchrony had made changes to their system and would not allow me into my account. The Synchrony rep told me this was a problem and that many account holder were having the same problem. She told me that she could take my bank account number and routing number and make the last payment for me. I gave her the info and then forgot about it.
Later, I got a notice that the payment was rejected by my bank and that I was being charged $30.00 for the reject. I called my bank and they told me that Synchrony had not tried to debit my account. I then called Synchrony, both by phone and then by chat. After a lot of back and forth, the rep finally said to me (by chat) "As I understand you have a query about the return payment fees charged, I would like to inform you that it was charged due to a payment return as the payment was returned due to mismatch of the bank account number entered at the time of payment. Unfortunately, as this is purely system based, we are unable to remove the fee from our end due to the process limitations even at the manager level as we can work only on an late fee. We apologize for not meeting your expectations at this time."
I told the rep that the Synchrony rep wrote my information down wrong and now Synchrony wants me to pay $30 for their mistake. The rep then told me (by chat) "I can understand how frustrating it would be for you. We are sorry for your experience. Since this is automatically charged, we do not have an option to over ride even at the manager level." In other words, Synchrony is not at fault. I am. For paying off my account 30 days early. And by having a rep handle the transaction instead of the normal debit procedure. The chat rep then said "we suggest you reverify your bank details before sharing it with us." This is insane. I have NEVER heard of anything as stupid as this before. The bank makes a mistake and their customers have to pay for their mistake. If I was Synchrony, I would make mistakes all day long and get rich!

I got this card when I applied for special financing to buy a new couch at La-Z-Boy on Labor Day, since they always have special holiday deals. I made all my monthly payments and paid it off, but then about a year or so later they randomly close my account for inactivity, without any warning (nothing in the mail or email or anything). I only found out when Credit Karma emailed me to notify me the account had been closed, so I called Synchrony Bank (who manages the card) to see if they would reopen it but they said I would have to reapply. Seems like shady business practices to me, since closed accounts can have a big impact on credit scores. But I guess if you need new furniture in a pinch it may still be helpful, just be aware you need to keep buying stuff at La-Z-Boy to keep it open if you don’t want them to close it for inactivity.

I do not recommend using this bank. I once took a loan for car wheels and had a terrible experience. I was supposed to make fixed monthly payments, but due to the bank’s error, they first charged the regular payment and later withdrew the entire loan amount at once. When I contacted customer service, they were completely unhelpful and refused to admit their mistake. It makes no sense to use their services — if I wanted to pay the full amount upfront, I wouldn’t have applied for a credit plan in the first place.

Then I called them again but the fraud dept. said they still needed to have a code but I don't know how to get it. They said if I don't have it then they declined not to pay for my airline ticket, for 2-3days past. After 3 days then I decided to buy the ticket with different card and I got it within 10 minutes. The next day after I received different airline, different credit card, different flights, I was so released. Then my nightmare started the next day they sent me an email they paid for my ticket after 5 days passed.
Then I call them to report for the dispute, they said it okay for this disputed which at first they said they declined not approved, and I didn't authorize them again after they declined me. Today now they want me to pay this ticket after I came back from my emergency travel matter and now six months passed they declined my dispute which this damaged caused by them not me at all. This Synchrony Bank is so awful, bad rude services. They don't know what they doing, poor quality staffs, bad bad people in this bank.
They ruled my credit which I do have an excellent credit at all time. But they the one that damaged me. I purchased carpet from Lowe’s and opened a Lowe’s Credit Card, which is issued by Synchrony Financial. About a week later, I was shocked to see a $89.6 charge labeled “Payment Security” — a service I never authorized or agreed to. This kind of charge feels deceptive and completely unacceptable. I expected transparency when opening a store credit card, not hidden add-ons or unauthorized fees.
I contacted Synchrony Financial to dispute it, but they asked me to call their Payment Security department — and I’m still waiting for a resolution. This entire experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Customers should carefully review their statements after opening a Lowe’s Credit Card. Apparently, unauthorized charges can appear even without your consent.

Customer service for Amazon Store Card affiliated with Synchrony Bank, needs to be reviewed by the credit bureau and consumer affairs. I called customer service about two days ago to update my phone number on my account, they made me go through a hard time, the call says is monitored and recorded, they make you go through a Identity verification process that is a pain in the neck all for nothing because I did everything they asked and I updated my phone number to find out two days later they had put another phone number I do not know on my account.
I called and asked for an explanation and they told me they didn’t have access to that…so why record the call? I had to go through the whole identification process again which if you use glasses, is even harder to do since you can’t use glasses for the face recognition….they really need a better way to verify identity and customer support needs more training on how to handle customer complaints and concerns!

They are predatory, deceitful, unfair, not honest, and the opposite of customer oriented. They provide the cards for a lot of stores such as CARE CREDIT and Amazon. I had an account with both. On my CC card I had a $7000.00 credit line. And a $1000.00 limit with Amazon. They closed the Amazon card without cause and without notice. They reported false information to the credit bureaus and they refuse to change any information. As for the CareCredit card they have now lowered my credit line down to $370. I purchased a Bowflex back in 2023. It was a promotional thing (Yeah, right), that was no interest for so many months, and option to pay off early. I paid the bill in its entirety, but that hasn't stopped Synchrony from demanding that it is paid for that original 18-month period. Before Bowflex filed for bankruptcy, this bill was paid. That's not how Synchrony sees it. Because that payment was during the fog of bankruptcy, they didn't credit the acct in time. This is deceptive practice and predatory. Synchrony didn't credit the acct during the bankruptcy shuffle, and they're sticking me with another $1000 bill that I'd already paid-off. This company will go ahead and add all the interest, then charge you interest on that interest. Not even a joke. I urge anyone who wishes to do business with this company to stay far away from them!

In july alone I pad $880 and for August, I paid $587 towards reducing my balance. I got my balance reduced by $1121 and they reduced my available by $1000!! Bringing my usage up to 90%!!! I am OH so irritated!! I have never given them ANY reason to reduce my available credit!
I called them and the agent on the phone not only couldn't speak English enough to understand my reason for calling. Had to get a supervisor... who spoke a little better English, but seemed like she could not care less. She said she would have my complaint "reviewed" but, from what I read on the BBB website, Synchrony seems to defend this action and will not make any exceptions. Yes, it's legal for them to do, but it is still absolutely rotten for them to do it! Doesn't exactly give customers incentive to work hard to pay down balances if their usage is going to stay the same regardless!!
So.. I will be prioritizing paying down my other cards and Synchrony gets only minimum payments till all my other cards, whom have been good to me, are paid first. Yeah, it's going to suck to have to pay their ridiculous interest rates, but I just don't know what else to do!! If the more I try to pay down my synchrony cards, the more my credit just stalls out and doesn't improve! Balance chasing is bad business. I would understand completely if they were doing this because of late or delinquent or returned payments, but I have paid my bills and held up my end of the bargain. I did my part and been a damn good customer to them! So making a call to verbally seal my message, my call went but no one was picking till the month came and they post me a bill of $7.0. I got mad about this. Send in a message again letting them know I don't owe them a dime and I am not paying the $7.0 which is no money but the reason is this is a scam.
I finished my payment a month and even did two payments in the same month to complete. That star rating should be a negative 5 stars. I've had a Synchrony account through Amazon for years, with no problem. Suddenly, my payments were rejected without explanations, again and again. I would try three times a month to pay large payments (before they were due), and three days later they would come back as "rejected," despite plenty of money in my bank account. I went to my bank (Wells Fargo) and met with a branch manager to fix the problem, assuming it was something on my account. She found something, kinda blamed me (I'm WTF did I do wrong?) and the next payment went through. But then the rejections started again.
My credit score was 824 (out of 850). Now it is 671, and I still can't pay off the damn account (which they've closed). Since I didn't use the card and knew I paid it off, I didn't check it until I get a notification of a new 30 day late from the credit agencies. Over 23.92, my credit is now 70 points lower. And my previously perfect payment record is ruined. After 10 years in the financial industry i understand that they can technically do this. I also want everyone to know, they do not have to. Any institution is going to profit from reporting these laughable charges to the agencies, far more than the 23.92 I owed them (which frankly should have been paid when I paid my card to zero.) I cannot wrap my mind around this being a positive business practice, and I promise to never work with this institution or its partners ever again.

I have had 2 very bad experiences with Synchrony Bank. The first was when they inexplicably and without warning cut my credit limit with my Google Credit account from $1500 to $100, instantly affecting my credit score, which is the only reason I even knew it had happened, as they did not alert me and never gave me a reasonable explanation for why they did it. I used that account for upgrading my phone, and so I haven't (and refuse to) upgrade my phone again, as Google has chosen to use this horrific company to handle its credit accounts/customers. I NEVER missed a payment, usually paid early, and was a great customer. When I called to ask about it, the person I spoke to was extraordinarily rude, and even told me that it didn't matter if it was upsetting, they could do it anytime they wanted to, and there was "nothing I could do about it".
Flash forward to this month. I've had a Lowe's credit card for several years - again, excellent customer, always paid on time, never over my limit, which was $2900. I had a sinking feeling that Synchrony might do something similar, so I wrote to Lowe's to ask them not to do that. I'd planned on upgrading our kitchen in the New Year, but slipped on the ice and broke my right arm, so had to delay that until I was healed. I also had a drop in my salary, as I couldn't work. I thought if I headed that off they would ensure nothing bad would happen. Nope. I didn't get a reply, and last week (again, no-one from Synchrony or Lowe's told me about this - I only discovered it when I got a message from Credit Karma asking me if I was aware my Lowe's account had closed) they closed my account.
I had paid off all but the latest payment (due in August) of $18 and should have had my $2900 available in full to use for the kitchen upgrade. I'd even told Lowe's I was excited that their card had become a rewards card, as that was incentive to use it. NOPE. My credit score, thanks to the absolutely horrific way Synchrony Bank treats its customers, has taken a deep dive due to my no longer having that $2900 limit. DO NOT take out ANY cards or open ANY credit accounts administered by Synchrony Bank. You can see why they aren't BBB accredited, and you can see by the ocean of complaints that they haven't gotten better over the years, but have, if anything, gotten even worse.

Original Review: I recently had to pay off a $4,000 transmission repair and used Synchrony Car Care credit, which offered a 12-month no-interest promotion. I made every payment on time through autopay, thinking I was in the clear. I was incredibly frustrated and disappointed—especially when the chat agent and a manager named Mark ** offered only a $25 courtesy credit and were not helpful or empathetic in addressing the issue.
Thankfully, I then spoke to Jane on the customer service line. She was kind, professional, patient, and handled the situation with care. Two days ago, I paid my Synchrony Amazon card in full. I have had this card since 2021, have made no delinquent payments, and have even paid more than the minimum. Proudly, I have been paying off most of my credit cards in full because I am trying to reduce my credit card utilization and improve my credit score. I have a sense of security knowing that in case of an emergency, I do have credit to be utilized. My experiences with Amazon have been quite satisfactory; I can always rely on them in an emergency.
This complaint is not with Amazon but with Synchrony. Less than 24 hours after paying off the card, Synchrony lowered my $1400 card to $100. Is this a hissy fit because they can no longer collect interest from me, and they can move on to the next victim? What about reporting the payment to the three credit bureaus just as quickly so you can see the improved credit score? A business relationship goes both ways. Then, I noticed that I was not alone. I have read countless reviews of the same thing here and on the BBB site.
Synchrony is not accredited with the BBB because of the numerous complaints that they have to respond to, as well. I did have a JC Penney card, and they did the same thing. Again, there have been no delinquent payments, and I have always made payments more than the minimum amount. I feel like this company is a lone shark bank and continues to prey on the consumer. It is one thing when the consumer doesn't pay their debt, but when they do, they need to be treated fairly. The moral of the story is to close all credit cards associated with this bank and NEVER open another one again.

They sent me an email with four falsehoods in it, telling me I'm not paying enough every month, my account isn't old enough, my credit score isn't good enough, etc. All falsehoods, and they reduced my credit line to all but 20 dollars of the available balance which of course caused a credit score drop.
Last week they did the exact same thing to my PayPal Mastercard with the exact same falsehoods, causing another credit score drop. I paid them both off and parted ways with them. Discover, Capital One, US Bank, etc., don't do this to me. They caused an 80-point drop in my credit score by doing this. Total scam, do not get any kind of card managed by them. I waited until the 23rd then called them again. A very rude RJ let me know that on January 7th my address had been changed back from the December corrected address to the incorrect address again. At this point, I requested my account number so I could go online and pay the entire card off because this ineptitude was absolutely astounding. Others were notified of account closures for various reasons, even though those customers had long-term steady jobs and purchased items on an as-needed basis only. Or perhaps like us, having a multiple variety of Gas Company cards simply kept for Emergency Use ONLY (such as for a long and possibly unplanned emergency trip when gas station choices might be limited to one brand available for a few hundred miles!).
The Internet also noted a couple of Financial Reviewers (?CPA's/other) who noted that Synchrony appeared to be closing accounts for most of their retail/gas branded of many card holders. I was stupid enough to open my TJmaxx card issued by this bank. First of all, they are very greedy, gave a ridiculous $400 limit with my very good credit score. Then lowered it to $320 without any reason. I always pay everything off. Third, this time I paid all my debt in full a week ago, and I still can’t use this card, it keeps declining. Customer service is useless, just repeats “we are sorry, should work tomorrow”, and tomorrow it is still declined. I'm pretty sure they use customers' money to make profit on short term operations. They hope no one will notice. But I'm not okay with this, it’s my money, not theirs. I can’t use my card, can’t use or earn rewards. Makes it absolutely senseless. Will probably be closing it soon and will make sure to never do business with Synchrony bank again.

Refuse to correct billing errors resulting in late fees that they refuse to refund. This is our second experience with them with the same result. We set up automatic monthly payments knowing that we needed to start paying to have the balance paid off by the promotional period, and made an extra, large payment to try to always be a month early. They put all the payments in the same month instead of putting one in the next month. This sets up scenario where they claim every payment is "late" because of which period they decide to apply it in. Oh, and they charge full late fees immediately! No grace period. Despite paying more payments in the time period and paying like clockwork, they are putting my account into delinquent status. They refuse to fix any of this. I believe this company is trying to sabotage my credit score. They offered me a high amount of credit. I only used it to purchase a particular amount from that retailer. They then offered me another credit account which I did utilize more but have also been paying the bill on time. They first reduced by half the original amount offered which tanked my credit score by 50-60 points because it made my percent usage higher. That was almost a year ago. Just a few weeks ago they closed another account that is still active which tanked my credit score 30pts. I made payments on other cards and brought that back up and I now just got a letter that the one they reduced by 50% has now been closed, which will tank my credit further. I'm not sure what's going on but I am going to report this behavior to my state attorney general's office of consumer protection and also the BBB.

I recently settled my credit card balance to zero and made a purchase at Sam's Club, promptly paying down the balance the very next day. Despite this, my credit limit was lowered to just $20 above my outstanding balance, and the bank reported to the credit bureau that my credit utilization was 97%. I am perplexed by this treatment, as I have never missed a payment. I have spoken to a supervisor at the bank, but the situation remains unresolved. They will not help you or work with you and they will take away your credit for no reason. We had a Lowe’s and Sam’s card both with Synchrony. They lowered our credit on both. And closed the Lowe’s card. When we tried to pay it off they would only take off one late charge and then keep adding more.
They don’t care about people. They are greedy. We finally got it paid off. As soon as we did they lowered our Sam's card from $1000 to $100. As soon as we paid it off. We paid the Sam's card and they had no reason to lower it. I think they did it because I had so much trouble with the Lowe's. That isn’t right. We paid and paid and paid. Unfortunately, I didn't heed the warnings, of countless negative reviews, that I had previously read about Synchrony. And, now, I have three accounts through Synchrony. On two of my accounts, Synchrony issued fairly high credit limits. And, so, I took advantage of being able to purchase higher ticket items, that would allow me to do home improvements, and upkeep. Everything seemed great with their financial services, until I was one payment away from having the account paid off... and that's where everything went south on my experiences with them. Now, mind you, I've never missed a payment on ANY of my accounts. In fact, I keep getting updates, from Experian, about my perfect payment history.
And, I've always paid my accounts off in full, or I pay more than the required minimum monthly payments. However, twice now, right before my accounts were about to be paid off, in full, Synchrony has slashed my available credit by three-fourths of what it was. So, in turn, it caused my "usage rate" to skyrocket, even though the accounts were one payment away from being paid in full. And, in turn, that caused a ripple effect of other lenders (along with Synchrony) raising my APR, because of Synchrony's dirty business tactics.
And, after they did this, I started looking at my accounts, through them, more closely. And, what I found, was that they had been charging me interest on "special financing, no interest" purchases. So, my message to people that plan on, or are on the fence about, opening an account with Synchrony; don't do it. There are much better options out there, that don't lure customers in, and then use dirty, and shady, business practices to damage their customer's credit worthiness, and credit rating. The current payment options offered by Synchrony Bank for loan payments do not fully align with the customer's preference to use a debit card for online and automated payments. While Synchrony Bank allows online payments, the available methods are limited to bank account transfers and do not explicitly mention the acceptance of debit cards for online payments. Additionally, Synchrony Bank provides the option to make payments over the phone, but a fee is charged for this service. I wanted to make payment to be autopay using my debit card and it is not possible. The payment option is not available until it is past due then it allows you to make a one-time payment with debit card with a $41.00 late fee. The only way you can automate payment is with bank transfer using a routing number and Checking account number. This I did not want to give as I have a bad experience since they may take more money which I did not approved, and I will be fighting to get back my money. 2. Poor Communication: There is a frequent inability or refusal to return phone calls on unresolved issues.
3. Account Access Issues: Customers are sometimes locked out of their accounts without clear reason.
4. Extended Hold Times: Many experiences being put on hold for long periods during calls.
5. Lack of Follow-Up: Representatives fail to follow up as promised to rectify clerical errors.
Additionally, there seems to be a policy issue regarding the early payoff of accounts. Contrary to expectations, paying off an account early does not always result in a positive outcome. Several customers, including myself, have encountered unexpected charges such as additional interest fees, late fees, or other amounts after settling our accounts. I am deeply dissatisfied with my experience with Synchrony and their Credit Security Service. In April 2021, I opted for a financing option for my new Air Conditioning system, and it has turned into a nightmare. Automatic monthly payments of $285 were set up, and I recently discovered an unauthorized balance of $4,268.37 on November 13, 2023. Shockingly, Synchrony had enrolled me in their Credit Security program without my consent, charging an outrageous $159.5 monthly fee—more than half of my original loan payment. This fee accrued interest at 26.99%, resulting in an unjustifiable balance.
When I contacted customer service, they claimed I had "opted in" during the loan application, a fact that was never clearly communicated. Despite my objections, they offered only a partial refund of $1,785.89, insisting I bear responsibility for the remaining $2,482.48. This resolution is unacceptable, as I never willingly enrolled in or desired the Credit Security Service. Paying the contested $2,482.48 under duress is my only option to avoid further interest charges.
I urge others to be cautious when dealing with Synchrony, as their unethical practices have had a severe impact on my financial well-being. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and requested an investigation with the NJ Department of Banking and Insurance to address potential deceptive practices. Consumers deserve transparency and fairness, neither of which I experienced in this situation.

I didn't read the fine print, my mistake. We had 3 transactions on 1 card and received 1 statement with 1 balance. I calculated how much my payments needed to be to pay off each transaction prior to its promo period expiring. I even called to make sure I was doing this correctly. However, Synchrony doesn't apply a payment to the oldest. Instead, it applied a "minimum" to each of the 3 transactions (remember, 1 statement) and the excess went to the oldest transaction. I had it on auto payment. When I went in to see how much was still left on the account, I was shocked to find that we still owed almost as much as we had borrowed.
Fortunately, I was able to just pay it off before they took more deceptively garnished funds and their response was that to allocate the payment to 1 transaction required a monthly call...so don't set up autopay. They also need to educate their customer service to tell people this is the way they make money. Or better yet, just don't use it, especially if you are going to have a few different treatment dates/transactions on it. I don't like to carry balances on credit cards but thought their promotional option made sense. Instead it just made them money. This is my experience with Synchrony and for some, it could be devastating. I see why it is so difficult to get out of credit card debt.

I have 6 Synchrony credit cards each with payment security. Over the years any claim to activate benefits is easy, after that it's a nightmare. Under 3.1 of their contract, they are supposed to cover or credit you, your monthly payments. They do not reimburse you or credit you. Then if no additional purchases since benefit activation date, they are supposed to completely pay the balance owed on each account up to $10,000. When making your own monthly minimum payments the final payout doesn't cover your whole debt. This is theft by deception and breach of contract.
I have proof over the years Synchrony does this repeatedly. If they are stealing and doing a breach of contract with me several times over the years, everyone who does business with these deceitful scammers is getting tricked and stolen from as well. If those 9/10 of a penny adds to millions and billions for gas imagine how much money they are stealing from all customers!!!! Please any lawyers contact me at ** or fax me at **. Any information I would like in writing.

I have had a account through these people for a year. Was late like twice and once was because I was admitted in the hospital. Which I offered to provide proof because they lowered my credit limit after that and that was once. Paid my entire 4,000 credit off in less than a year making huge payments and these people destroyed my credit, and closed my account down after paying them completely off!! They refuse to give me a reason why!! These people should be completely shut down!! They have ruined my credit and I still have no clue what I did so bad for them to treat me this way!! DISGUSTING!! HORRIBLE!! PIECES OF DOG CRAP!! DO NOT GET ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!

My credit line was reduced after my credit score went up. This company is pathetic. Avoid like the plague. Customer service is useless. All a bunch of foreigners. They obviously live to mess with people's debt to income ratios.

I don't even know where to begin with this bank. I have been actively working to pay off all accounts to remove myself from any potential risk from this bank. If you care about your credit score, stay away. Here is my current story about this bank. I have a PayPal credit line that I just paid off in full. It has been a little over two weeks and Synchrony has yet to report that the account balance is $0 to the credit agencies. I'm then rewarded by Synchrony when they lowered my credit limit to $100 from $7,600. This is going to impact my credit again. This isn't the first time this has happened from this bank. Anyone who is looking to open an account with Synchrony needs to Full-Stop and run. Do not, I repeat, do not do business with Synchrony.

Worst financial company to deal with. They will charge you late fees even if it hasn't been 30 days!!!! You should know their billing cycle according to their customer service!!!! Would not recommend. If you are thinking about applying for a store credit card that is managed by Synchrony I would recommend that you pass!!!!
