I have banked with Chime for over a year. They recently closed my account with no reason. When I asked for the reason they said my deposits went against their transactions which the only deposits I get are a Social Security check. I had Chime Credit Builder and a savings account as well as the regular checking account. And for no reason last week on a Monday they closed my account savings account and my checking account and told me that I would be sent a check for my remaining balance. Which would take up to 30 days. Customer service is horrible. I've had issues with unauthorized transactions. It takes them up to 30 days to release your funds. I do not refer anyone to bank with them. The credit builder does somewhat help your credit but there are other ways, you can build your credit as your credit score doesn't go up significantly with them.

Chime allowed $1399.99 to be stolen from my checking account, denied my dispute, and refuses to return my money in spite of complaints filed with CFPB, BBB, and my local police department. Chime allows fraud to happen on its watch, and does nothing to protect its customers. Their reps just parrot the same canned responses over and over again. I continue to be asked to prove negatives when I did not make or authorize the transaction in question, and they need to return my money. Or, how about I get all the other people they stole from together and we file a class action suit to shut Chime down?

Why is Chime canceled orders, have a seven pending. Before I'm able to get my funds back in my checking account, my nearly $200 purchase that was canceled September 13 is still pending and tomorrow is the 20th. I have direct deposit and been banking with Chime for years. Had large deposits and they making me wait 7 days not counting weekends of course to make my money available for me. Really, are you serious? I think it's time to look for another bank. Chime is not the good bank I once thought they was.

Just opened my Chime account, got my card. Went to finishing activating my card, for some reason my account was locked out, everybody I speak to gives me the go around, now they have my money. Won't refund it. I've decided to get an attorney and report them to the BBB.

In trying to build my credit I chose to use the Chime credit builder card. I uploaded several hundred dollars in cash and used the card to pay bills and for items I needed. Even after I used my own money on the card, I had a few hundred dollars left on the card. I thought the use of the card in paying my bills using my own money that I uploaded on the card was how it actually improved my credit.
After the first month, I received a notice stating that I needed to upload an outrageous amount of $800! I didn't even use but $300 of my own money! I figured out that the initial amount of money you upload, you have to consistently place on the card. The card does absolutely nothing to help anyone's credit. You are not given any line of credit from the card, only the money you upload.
When I realized that it was a complete scam and they were charging me for not putting the same amount on, I took all my money off my card. Just recently I got a notice that I owed $1800!!! What in the hell!! I made an initial deposit of $700, I used $300 to pay a phone bill and they are now trying to scam me out of my own money?!? Something needs to be done to stop these lying bags of **. They are scammers who ruin your credit over nothing at all. I'm reporting them to every agency I can to stop this. Do not get involved with Chime whatsoever, they will absolutely ruin you!!

Went to pay our electric bill to find out our account was drained by unauthorized purchases we never made & they will not cancel the transaction "due to policy". So now we have no money and have to wait around for them to actually process these unauthorized pending charges which could take up to 90 days so we have to struggle till God knows when, till we receive our hard earned money we worked for! So much for safe. That's a bunch of lies! So disgusted it's unreal right now.

I believe with all my heart that it was not an outside crook but Chime itself that stole money out of my account. My wife and I within 6 months had money taken out of both our accounts. 150 out of my wife's and she had to get a new card. $1,200 out of mine and I kept calling to tell them someone was changing my phone number cause I kept getting emails saying, "If you did not change your phone number, please contact us" and then my account information got changed and I couldn't even recover it cause they changed my email and everything.
I called Chime and they said that if I couldn't give them the login information they couldn't look at my account or give me information, that I need to contact Chime support via email. I have emailed Chime support about 37 times with zero responses begging, literally begging them. I got time to help my credit. It hurt my credit. I had to take out a high-interest payday loan just keep a roof over my head. I was working 60 hours a week and had two weeks paycheck taken out of my account with no recourse and no one seems to care. No one will help me fix it and then when I went to register a complaint through the Better Business Bureau turns out this happens all the time.
If you Google Chime there is a huge amount of people who just have money taken out of their accounts who have people changing their account information having their information sold. I mean Chime is a bunch of crooks, you can use them if you want but please learn from my mistake. Do your research, don't take my word for it. There's plenty of research out there to support what I'm telling you right now. They are swindlers and they do not give a crap and this is going to come to light in the next couple of years. I know it is cause they can't keep this up for too much longer. You're going to hear all over the news about how Chime was doing some very very dirty business.

A friend of mine referred me to Chime to get the $100 referral bonus for each of us that they offer. Before I did that I just emailed support at Chime.com and asked since I created a login ID and password in the past will I still be eligible for the bonus. Their reply in the email was they were able to locate that I created the account in September of 2021 but it was not yet activated so I could go ahead and do a direct deposit of at least $500 within 60 days and both my friend and I would still each get the $100 bonus. Within 25 days I had a qualifying direct deposit but neither of us received the bonus. I emailed back to Chime support. They suggested I contact support through the chat feature in the app.
I got a reply pretty quick from someone who claimed to be an expedite specialist and said she could assist me with it and ask for the name and phone number of the person who referred me. When I replied I waited about a day and I didn't get a response, so I replied asking when they were going to respond. Still nothing. I waited one more day. Asked again, "Am I going to get a response?" Still nothing. So I called Chime customer service and I was told they have no way of seeing that or helping me with that. The only people who can help me with that is Chime support via email and told me to email them back. So I emailed them back. I included the screenshot of the conversation where they assured me I would still get the bonus but I still never heard back from anyone. Stay away!

Chime stole $250 from me. I had received a few hundred dollars on my chime card. I was trying to send $250 to a friend, I accidentally spelled his name wrong by one letter. I knew immediately I made a mistake so I contacted customer service. I made a dispute. When I went to check on it a few days later they said they had no record of anything.. I made a second dispute which they denied me. Pretty much saying they couldn't give me my money back that it was just in limbo. $250 is a lot of money to me.

I was a happy customer from 2017-early 2022... until the day they finally decided to close my account without any explanation or warning. The app prompted me to call them to address my questions. When I call, the automated system told me to email them and hung-up on me. I emailed them. I received a very generic response that I had a closed account. I asked for more information, and was told that that my account was "identified for closure" .... Again I replied asking for specifics. I was told I was being transferred to their specialists for review... That was over a month ago. No response. I don't even know how much, if any, money was in that account as it was my secondary account and I only paid 1-2 small bills from there and was getting direct deposits from a second job I stopped working recently. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Chime is not a bank. It's an app. There is ZERO representation from Chime for problem solving, and my problem was caused...by Chime. When they cause a problem, and they will...a customer service person who you cannot understand, will read a script to you over and over telling you that they will forward your issue to another department which will then get back to you in 24 to 48 hours. This all came about when I made a deposit to Chime from my Morgan Stanley investment account and when the deposit was completed, Chime put a block on my account! Why? IT WAS A DEPOSIT!!! Morgan Stanley JUST VERIFIED my Chime account with 2 small deposits a few days ago! I was not able to pay my rent and my property manager charged me $100 per day in late fees.
To get access to MY MONEY, Chime required that I email them my photo ID, a copy of my bank statement, “letter from the bank reflecting that I’m an authorized user on all external bank accounts,” and a copy of a utility bill showing my address? REALLY? This was all caused by making a deposit from a new bank. I cannot wait to get access to my money in the next 24 to 48 hours so that I can CLOSE MY CHIME ACCOUNT and live happily ever after. What a mistake getting involved with them was. I should have known that an app would never deliver a shred of accountability.

First and foremost, I'd like to say they're only good for their SpotMe and early direct deposit payments. Other than that, they don't give a crap if your card information was stolen and used online that was unauthorized. A year and a half ago was my first experience of debit card fraud. They immediately resolved my dispute in 48 hours. Now, when someone uses my card for $97.83 at Chili's on the complete opposite side of the city from where I work, they say they see no error that occurred. I called the Chili's and spoke to someone 4 minutes after I got a notification that my card was used at their location and they confirmed it was fraud on behalf of a woman or fake alias of "Lindsay London."
I immediately turned off transactions and requested a replacement card. I filed the dispute when it got settled at 9 PM my time and they denied the dispute at 3:58AM. How the hell did they conduct this investigation in 6 hours in which was overnight? They said they'd call the merchant which they didn't. I appealed the denied dispute and submitted my work schedule and call log showing I was clearly working that day and that time and they still denied it. I called again and spoke to a Manager and they said they're emailing me the documents of their findings of the investigation as to why they're denying it and then I can appeal again. This is all a load of crap. This is pretty embarrassing. I even just sent them a surveillance video of me at my work and now I'm going to have to file a Police report but I know damn well they'd still deny it. They help you once, and never again after. Stay away!!! They're a scam.

How did I make a purchase at a casino in Vegas when I am on the East Coast? I will be closing my account until they employ more knowledgeable people in customer services and disputes because they are definitely not for the customer.

Like many other reviews on this site, Chime received one star from me, because the option for 0 stars does not exist. I feel this needs to change because it gives false information to consumers as an overall business rating. Chime needs to have a class action lawsuit brought against them. I have, for the past month, been trying to access my mobile account as still, an active member. For 30 days now, I have been unable to access my account online (the only way to do it) and NO ONE from Chime can fix it nor explain why. I have sent in every piece of documentation they asked for and then some, the only thing I can possibly submit to them that I have left is my DNA and blood sample. I have also done EVERYTHING they have requested, including uninstalling and reinstalling my app, trying to sign in from my MAC, you name it, I have done it.
I have 21 "escalation tickets" to their "highest authority people" within their organization. I believe the next highest up would be within the realms of Heaven. I work for the Federal Government, so when I realized what was happening, I had my direct deposit rerouted to a family members account. The Government gave me a one time pass on this, through an affidavit as a one time option, as our our paychecks have to be issued electronically to an account with our name and social security number. So, for an entire month, I have been calling every day. I have over 4 dozen emails from them and even more sent from me. I have 54 hours of talk time documented on my phone.
Now, I missed my last direct deposit and will be forced to wait 2 more weeks to have my check re-issued to another account, which I now have to open, because Chime cannot resolve a simple issue relating to my email. This to me is not only illogical, but suspect and fraudulent in nature. They have cost me over $1700, so far, in accrued fees associated with bills I couldn't pay because I had no access to my account to transfer money. I have spent a lot of time researching the same type of complaint, or similar to mine, of people that have faced steep consequences due to Chime's incompetency and downright refusal to assist. They have lied, diverted blame and have been totally misleading with this experience.
I have a close friend that assists with class action lawsuits, which I have a meeting with tomorrow. They can be started with one person and continue with a group (small or large) to pursue further action/compensation to recover claims on damages, financial or otherwise to continue. If you are interested, please reply to this for more information.

I have been with Chime since 2017 and never had an issue with mobile deposit of check but until I received a check from my job like always but my job didn't have the funds in the acct so it became a bounced check. The check was returned and I ended up with a negative balance in my account. I notified my job and they reissued another check from a different account. I tried to deposit but they deactivated my option to deposit a check permanently and would not reactivate it at all. This was the one and only time this has happened and it was not my fault that I didn't know my job did not have funds in the account or had a banking issue on their end.
They would not reactivate my account and I still had 2100 in my saving that I could not retrieve on the case that I did not know my job's check bounced. I was forced to close my account and go to another bank as payroll was coming up and I have bills to pay before the first of the month! UGH never would I ever go back to them!

First, my 74 year old mother’s account was closed without her knowledge for ‘suspicious activity’. Then it took her nearly four months for them to return her money from said account. Also, they said they sent her an email about closing the account, I let them know they hadn’t, they sent it that day, a week after closing the account. Then my sister’s account was charged (by accident), that company returned the funds, but Chime never put the money back into her account. Any time you call they give you the runaround, it takes months for them to fix anything, if they fix it, and only when you hound them. It’s ridiculous for a company to treat people this way.

CHIME IS A JOKE! I have had my account with Chime for quite some time now. Recently I have had a lot of fraud and unauthorized transactions on my Chime account. Chime has been notified of each one. I noticed money had been transferred out of my account while I was in Las Vegas. While I was in Las Vegas Chime blocked my transactions to certain stores stating they were suspicious. I requested they remove the block because it was me attempting to complete the transactions. I was told they have no control over the system blocking the transactions. The city may have been out of the ordinary, but I shopped at Ross quite often.
About 2 months later, I am checking to verify the hotel returned my deposit because sometimes they do not return the deposit to you. That was when I seen all the transfers to a phone number I do not know. I immediately contacted Chime to report this. I had never previously transferred any money out of my account this way, but they blocked my card transactions. ODD! Chime opened up a dispute with the information I provided. They stated their investigations team would be giving me an update as soon as possible and if the investigation went beyond 10 days I would receive a provisional credit on my account. 3 days later Chime closed their investigation. I seen my money had not been returned to my account and was furious. I called them again and demanded to know why, but the representative was unable to tell me why.
He/She said they would request the documents and have them sent out to me. I requested they reopen the dispute. I was told without any new information they could not reopen it. I let her know this was the responsibility of her "investigations" unit. She asked me if I provided a police report. I told her no. I filed a report with the police department and sent it over to them. They reopen the dispute a couple days go by and again DENIED DISPUTE. They stated there was no error on the transactions. Instantly I am calling again demanding a reason as to why. Their employee again was not able to provide me a reason. I let them know I wanted to speak to investigations myself.
BUT OF COURSE, they don't have any contact information I could reach them on. It has been a few days shy of one month, I have called every day sometimes 5-6 times a day demanding the documentation showing that I am responsible for these unauthorized transactions. The number of calls I have made and the countless emails and time I have spent trying to resolve this with the company is unreal.
The transactions are almost $1100! They think I am just going to let them refuse to give me the money back and they won't even do a reasonable law-required investigation. That is not going to happen. I filed a claim with the FTC, Department of consumer finance and the BBB. My next step is to obtain legal representation and take them to court and demand the dispute be handled according to the federal and state regulations. I had a representative tell me tonight they emailed the documentation over to me last Thursday at 9 AM.
I asked him what the email said so I could look it up in my mailbox. The representative told me the email was blank with the attachment. After looking through my emails NO DOCUMENTS. I demanded to speak with upper management as I have numerous times over the last 30 days NOT ONE PERSON HAS REACHED OUT! I even requested it in writing through Support@Chime.com and never got anything in return.
I think everyone should be aware of CHIME and their illegal unethical unmoral business practices. They never did a reasonable investigation or provided me the documents within the time frame required by law. Their employees have laughed at me. That employee's name was MAX. He thought it was funny someone stole almost $1100 out of my account. I am starting to think maybe there is something going on internally! Because there is not anything funny about a customer losing $1100. I am attempting to figure out why CHIME believes they don't have to follow the laws as everyone does. Chime even lied to the Department of Consumer finance saying they were working on the claim yet they had closed it again. I have went every avenue possible to resolve this. I even contacted VISA but they just wanted me to speak to CHIME.

Last Friday, I received a notice that I needed to provide a handful of documentation within 5 days, due to another larger source of income that I recently started receiving. I complied and sent it to them within the 5 day period, and they requested more documentation. I explained to them that there was some documentation I was unable to receive that quickly, and they gave me instructions on how to get documentation they would take. They then locked my account on Wednesday, leaving me with absolutely no access to my funds -- mind you, we were a few days away from bills being due (rent, utilities, credit card payments, FOOD shopping, etc).
I have informed them of this and continued to provide the documentation that they have requested. I am on my third or fourth round of sending them the documentation they requested, and yet their most recent request is to send them something that I've already sent. I have explained to them how crucial it is for me to have access to my funds, especially being a father and sole provider for a household.
Not only are my funds unable to be used, but I can not transfer them at all -- as I have absolutely no access to my online portal due to the lock they imposed. They have no physical locations. So my freshly deposited paycheck is being held hostage by them, even though I have complied and continued to send them the information that they have requested. I am incredibly disappointed, disheartened, and now regret any time I've ever suggested them to anyone. DO NOT USE CHIME! SERIOUSLY.

My husband and I both have accounts with Chime and we've been with them for more than 6 years. Up until last year, we never had an issue with anything and if we did the customer service was great at resolving it. But, I went to jail 2 years ago and I was there for about 7 months, in which time I can't use my debit card as we all know and surely can't got to Fairfield Inn and rack up 700 dollars of charges in a different location from where I'm from, McDonald's, gas stations, etc.
I filed a dispute upon seeing that before I went to jail I had about 400 in my account, but when I was released I had negative 788. Filed a dispute, turned in three state sealed documents proving my dates on incarceration and they denied my dispute. They said I never provided them proof so I faxed emailed and mailed them, copied of all three and then they had no recollection of my rebutted, then had no documents saying why my claim was denied they just kept sending the same email to me stating they stand by their Initial decision that "no error occurred". I fought and fought and fought the past year and a half and my account is still negative and they still say no error occurred.
My husband has had some cash app transactions come out of his account for 4 months now, filed 49 disputes for transactions totaling over 1500 dollars, they said that they blocked the merchant but it still managed to get money out. He filed several rebuttals since end of March and nothing. They denied every single dispute. Can't provide documentation as to why, but we provided statements from cash app and messages from customer service at cash app stating that they would most definitely refund the money but we have to file the dispute with our bank, Chime, and provide them with the documentation they emailed me verifying his card was attached to several other cash app accounts but not his own, and statements showing he has been a member of cash app since June 2021 and used cash app totalling 8 times and all were paid for with a different card.
In the months they specifically had Over 800 dollars taken from my account into someone else's and the sad part is on the chine app it shows the eat persons account that the money was transferred into, but do they even care to look? Nope. We were told we would get a provisional credit on a specific date and on that date we received 49 emails denying all of our claims and no reason and we wrote back to rebuttle each on and withing a minute we received a reply of "Our decision stands and we have found no error occurred" because they deny every dispute over 50 dollars.
I'm contacting a lawyer and already filed so many complaints with the CFPB and BBB. I'm taking this as far as it will go and I won't stop until we receive our funds back. The customer service team has been replaced with rude people or rude computers since they all just send the same response to everything "hi I know your upset so I'm here to help blah blah blah". It's a computer programmed to send the same thing back. Just called a chime bot but they address it with a real name to make you think they give 2 isshes about anything you've proven to them. Either they are making money from stealing from their customers i.e VICTIMS or they really just don't give a crap about anything and the whole chime name and associates are scamming everyone they get the information for.
Needless to say, I will give them negative 100 stars if I could. I have 6 kids to take care of so every penny I get is for something we need not want but need so me missing out of over 2 thousand dollars is only putting them in the biggest hole ever. If I could reverse the entire time I've been a customer of chimes I would so take it back because no amount of time is worth the amount of moneys they've literally stolen from my family. Not to mention you filed police reports both times and provided them with copies and still no error occurred. The biggest error is me trusting them with my family's only means on income. And you can see I'm not the only person this has happened to try 386 more ppl. Stay back as far as you can because it may be 4 years from now but it will end up costing you way more then you bargained for....**

I have been using Chime for years. I use it so I can get my paycheck early. They have amazing perks such as spot me for up to $200+ dollars and a chime credit builder which I have been using as well. However when I lost my card someone picked it up and made purchases on it. I immediately went to dispute the purchases and the Chime support denied the disputed saying I have no evidence. Someone even purchased something at a place I have never purchased anything before for $2 I assume to test the card before purchasing more and then bought an expensive app subscription as well.
No matter how much I tried they wouldn’t give me the money that is rightfully mine. Now I don’t feel safe using this bank and I don’t feel supported by them and will not recommend it as much as I have been. I am currently looking at other banks that offer similar perks because I don’t want a bank like this to be the place I put my money anymore. Hopefully someone at Chime sees this and learns a lesson.

Absolutely horrible customer service. My father's card was stolen the day he was hospitalized over a month ago. We called to have a replacement card sent. Because we couldn't verify the last handful of transactions they refused to help us. I explained we had no idea what the last transactions were because the card was stolen and the best I could do is verify the last deposit we knew about which was in March. Was told that wouldn't work. Even though we could verify every other bit of account info they would not help us. Got fed up and told them to just close the account so we could open a new one and was told we couldn't even do that because we can't verify transaction history. It's ridiculous that they don't have a better system in place when it comes to stolen cards. I'd rather pay a monthly service fee on another card than to ever have to deal with these people again.

Do not use Chime! Customer service DOES NOT EXIST. I have been a victim of identity theft from their institution. I cannot get through to Chime by phone as although the account is in my name, and the emails come to my email address, whoever opened the fraudulent account did not use my correct birth date or phone number and since I don’t have an account I don’t have that number. Since it doesn’t recognize me, because I don’t have the fraudulent identifying info, it will not let me through. I emailed with them in April, they assured me it was identity theft and acct closed. Not true as I am now getting emails about continued activity in my fraudulent account in May!
I have emailed with them all morning, begging them to call me. They refuse so I can’t ask for what I need to supply for identity restoration. Their emails do not even address the fact that I need more info. I get lots of email responses but each is different, they are obviously not reading all the info I’ve sent them. I have LifeLock premium who has sent info to identity restoration dept but need more info from Chime. Who refuse to speak with me.
We are not finding any missing funds from our accounts but a fraudulent account has been opened in my name. No telling what they’re doing with it, how much debt they’ll accumulate under my identity with this fraudulent account. Too detailed to be handled by email but Chime refuses to speak to me. I think identity theft through Chime’s own company should be important enough to at least speak to a “customer” to give them the info they need to restore their identity. I suppose having fraudulent accounts, and identity theft, do not concern them. Beware! Stay away!

Now I know that this is the actual prompted Chime for privacy purposes and security. This person know the ins and outs of how this company operates and went into my account. Stolen huge sum of money from me. When that happened I was locked out of my account for 24 hours. This person updated all my information to theirs and I was locked out of my account. After I stop crying I thought about the number that was attached to the date but it was too late. They were took money from my checking, savings and credit builder.
Once I got through to Chime I put in a dispute for the transactions that occurred that I did not authorize. It all else failed I called the police involved in Greensboro North Carolina and Salem New Hampshire where the crime took place. All this happen in 24 hours or less. I have proof that this occurred and Chime is not taking it seriously. I am stressed and appalled by this company's negligence on this type of crime. I received a message as I was attempting to log in that my account was frozen and I had to email review@chime.com. Upon doing so I was told that I needed to provide a valid state-issued ID, and proof of address which could be a bill and the message stated that this could take 48 hours to resolve. I have since sent those document literally 5 minutes after I receive that message. I have reached out to Chime via phone literally four times a day to get an update on where my status was as my account is still frozen 5 days later.
I have sent emails a total of 15 times to both review@chime.com and support@chime.com and I've yet to get a response since then my payroll check was sent to Chime and according to my company they have not received it back yet therefore I cannot be paid until they do. Also all of the funds that were in my account all Frozen what is around the sum of $500. We are living paycheck-to-paycheck and I have since lost two paychecks and Chime has showed me nothing but disrespect. When you call Chime they consistently tell you there's nothing that they can do over the phone and that their review team is reviewing my case and I have to wait through the process. Although they say the process can take up to 48 hours it's well past that.
When you call Chime they ask you for your name, your email address, the last four of your Social Security number, your physical address, phone number, they ask what was the last transaction in my account, and at this point, they have my state-issued ID, as well as proof of my address, a bill with my name on it. How much more of my personal info do they need to Simply prove I am who I say I am. They also made it sound like I was sending in a fake bill because it wasn't a PDF. I am so tired of the disrespect. So yes I even sent it as a PDF.

When I finally got to speak to a human to close my account he tried to tell me his name was Bill. Clearly that was a lie. Also I would not recommend anyone using this. If I could give it a negative 100 I would and apparently I have to give them at least a star because it's required. The star I gave is by force not by choice. A negative is what I would give.

First was 3 days (business days) then 5 days and now 7 which means I will not have access to my money for over 11 days. The merchant did make the mistake but corrected but Chime will not take the initiative to release my money even when I provided them with a contact to clear it up.
I know it can be done because other banks I have used in the past have helped out when this happens. All 3 "agents" at Chime were condescending - rude and blamed each other for the mistakes. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with them after being on hold for a half hour and they couldn’t find any issues with my account or debit card! The guy had me drive around to different atms and registers trying the card over and over he had me change my pin several times and he could not see any reason why it would not work. He put on hold for a supervisor, another 20 minutes, who then also had me go to another atm and try again and told me to send them a picture of the error code there was no codes just a message saying “invalid transaction”! So 3 hours on the phone, almost a half a tank of gas and I have no access to my money now! They asked me if I have a “friend” that I can transfer to and have them withdraw the cash for me and give it me!!! Outrageous!!!
The only options I have is to wait for a new debit card (because I’m going to trust a second one) or transfer the money to another one of my personal accounts which will take 5 business days!!!! I need that money so badly now and they have no resolution and no answers for why there’s even a problem with their debit card! I have been a customer for quite some time. This past Friday, somebody was able to access my account and change my telephone number and cancel both my Credit Builder and Debit card. I wasn’t aware until Saturday morning around 0740. You would think you would be able to contact customer service for fraudulent activity, but guess what? You can’t!!! Called the 800 number listed and per their lovely IVR system “my number is not on file and since I can’t verify the last four digits on my card I would need to EMAIL customer support.” What in the actual??
So then it began, I emailed, no response. Then it seems the hacker started disputing charges I have made and was getting them credited to my account. Each email I responded to and begged for someone to contact me. Still no response. Next, received an email that an external account was linked. Disputed that via email with no response. Now $1100 was being transferred, disputed that via email. No response. All this was all before Noon. I continued to email support and was not receiving a response at all. Finally on Sunday I posted in their Facebook page that I have attempted to contact them regarding fraudulent activity on my account and was not getting a response. Around 2100 on Sunday, received an email wanting me to verify my identity. Actually three different ones. Did everything they asked and was finally able to get into my account.
Took it upon myself to call them since they had not contacted me regarding the transfers and disputes. First time, dude was flustered and didn’t understand the situation, he ended up hanging up in me. Me already irate called back and spoke to someone else. Once again explaining the situation and said he was going to file a dispute and I didn’t need to do anything else. I asked him to verify that they received all of the emails I sent (>40) and he stated he could see them. Well, Monday was a holiday and wasn’t expecting anything. Tuesday I received an email that Chime was closing my account and would no longer be doing business with me. They would be mailing me my additional funds after 30 days. The heck you will!
Tried calling their number again and the IVR informs me that my account was closed and if I needed any assistance I would need to EMAIL support. This is ridiculous. Then I started my barrage of emails to the unmanned support line and getting informed that I will need to wait 30 days to receive any funds. In these emails I informed them that I was self employed and they requested money back from my vendors. Now my vendors put my account on hold due to now owing on past invoices. I requested that I wanted documentation of my dispute and their findings for them to close my account without even a phone call for common courtesy. Last time I checked, I was the victim in this situation.
Also stated that I was in shock that I finally was able to speak to someone on a Sunday and since Monday was a holiday they could close my account Tuesday before noon. Where was the investigation? What about the money they sent to some external bank? Still crickets…. This afternoon I received an email asking to verify my mailing address and they would be sending a check via express mail. I’ll believe it when I see it, Being that I was all over the transactions I was notified of, you would think they would if responded sooner. I’ve never given them or had to dispute anything before do this took me by surprise. Please do not do business with them since they do not value your security and cannot protect yourself if and when someone else gets your information, I’m still trying to get an answer.

I have been in good standing, have my direct deposit going in regularly, so when I disputed a charge for 101.00 to a supplement's company, I would hope it would be handled like other banks...BUT NO... I entered my info, emailed supplement's info, and still nothing. No communication. But the biggest problem, they don't credit you when you start the dispute.. I was originally upset about this.. But now 28 days later I really don't think they are going to rectify my dispute, so I'm now researching other banks to see if this is par for the course or just Chime... So on December 24 Christmas Eve I have to emphasize the day because most banks and businesses closes early this day. I just got paid and had about $1000 dollars in my account. But they informed me that nothing can be done until the transactions was done pending. Two days later I got an email saying that chime denied my dispute claim because their investigation claim that there was no error with my account. So I signed up for Chime, sent them my ID picture of my face, all that stuff. Everything went through fine. Got the debit card in the mail and everything. Upon my very first paycheck deposit direct from the company I work for I was locked out of my account with NO indication as to why. The only good thing about this experience is that the deposit was canceled and sent back to the sender so I didn't have to deal with Chime anymore. They wanted proof of ID (which you need to send them to sign up for their site), my social security card and a bill of some kind sent to the place I live. Well I have no bills directed to me personally at the place I live so I sent them the letter from my employer, I sent them mail from insurance, I sent them mail I got from paypal, I sent my ID and my social security card. They did not accept it.
The customer representative I spoke with on the phone with was nice. I asked him "does Chime do this with all their customers? Allow them to sign up send a debit card and when a deposit is made lock their account?" He said "No" yet couldn't give me any specific reason it happened to me. Maybe they thought I looked like a criminal based on the photo in my ID, I really don't know. I literally couldn't have done anything suspicious as all I did was sign up and get a deposit. The deposit had my name on it, the same address as my ID. There was absolutely NO conflicting information I gave them ANYWHERE.
Now I have to wait almost a full week longer to receive my paycheck. I would never recommend this service, and my story alone (without me even trying to convince them as I didn't know they were even considering Chime) has convinced someone I know not to use Chime when they had been considering it. GOOD! The fact that this isn't a standard thing is what upsets me the most. What about ME made them suspicious? I could see that if the address on my ID wasn't the same as the address I gave, or SOMETHING... but no nothing of the sort. And then why would they say "Congratulations you've successfully opened a deposit account" if they were going to lock it the very first time I got a deposit? UNNACCEPTABLE! The entire experience makes me feel discriminated against. The entire experience was TERRIBLE.

I’ve been with Chime for a couple years now. Bank is pretty mediocre. There’s been a lot of problems with false charges and I’m not the only customer to have this issue. They always have issues with the new cards you have to set up. The info in their system never matches what your new card says so they send out a new one and it’s the same cycle of waiting 2 weeks with fingers crossed. They do have a virtual temp card but they canceled mine because I had a fraud charge. They have “no idea how it happened” (I’ve only used this card on Apple Pay for a couple of stores so pretty sure either they are getting hacked or they sell info) and they left me with 0 access to my money until I get a card.
It’s been almost 3 weeks and customer support is terrible. Nobody in support knows how to fix anything but reset a password or send a new card like that’s going to help while already waiting for a card. You can definitely tell they outsourced their customer support overseas so that says a lot anyways. Also, a lot of places won’t even take this bank. I'm heavily considering canceling my bank and credit card with them.

First of all - I really love Chime overall, the Spot Me feature, no fees or overdrafts, etc. I’ve reached a point though where I need to move on to a “big boy” bank since Chime doesn't offer joint accounts and constantly transferring money back and forth between my wife and I is getting annoying. Another major thing is that Chime is treated like a pre-paid debit card by most vendors. I’ve ran into an issue recently where I was not able to rent a car due to them not accepting Chime. And going to a Family Dollar to deposit cash is getting tiresome as well - it just feels like you’re not really part of an actual bank. This is great for young singles and personally, I absolutely hate big banks - it pains me to move to Chase - but until they actually develop themselves as a “real bank”, I need to move on.

Chime is inconsistent. They lure you in by getting your direct deposit about 5 to 6 days early. After that don't expect it until the designated date of employer, or benefit date. They will lower your spot me without any reason why, and will not post to your account the bonus 5 dollars you're supposed to received from friends called boost. I have had 3 months where friends sent boost never to be credited to my account but have my spot me account lowered from 60 to 50 to now 5 dollars. Their reps are all remote half the time dealing with screaming children or other domestic affairs, and any correspondence sent is never answered but then you are penalized for complaining or stating missing monies.
It's better to go with an establishment that has second chance banking if need be or credit union. These new banking companies are not consistent and I fear will become more predatory as time goes on. I do not recommend. Do yourself a favor. Establish a relationship with a bank or credit union you will be able to secure loans, lines of credit, and buy a home. This is not the way to do it. Don't get suckered into taking the easy way out. There is never an easy way, and nothing is for free, which sets off red flags with chime. Good luck

The fraud process is a complete joke and they do not even attempt to assist you in obtaining your money back or even sending you a new card in an effort for it not to happen again. I have other bank accounts and Chime has to be the most lackluster one of them all. Instead of trying to assist their customers they are more concerned with how to make a dollar. No one in the disputes department could assist me in getting my money back instead they simply advised that it wasn't valid and hurriedly dismissed my claim.

As of August 2021, I will never trust this corporation with my money again. It all started when I had to reach out for the 3rd time that mouth about a reoccurring fraudulent charge (Suspicions in itself). In result of feeling disrespected and abandoned by the folks who have access to quite literally all of money, the conversation became unproductive and emotional.
At some point I mentioned how hard this situation was making my life since I had zero wiggle room in my paychecks. I then close the conversation out of anger. Within the hour, a local sheriff is at my door. He says he’s responding to a potential “self-harm risk”. I am in awe. Chime assumed I was a danger to myself, with no supporting evidence even alluding to that. When I confront the “chat” agent in the app after the officer had left, I demanded to know what warranted that 911 call. I never got a response. I tried to reach them a lot in fact, now my help feature in the app is always on “maintenance mode”. I have screenshots of every conversation regarding this. There was no risk to even be assessed, so I feel violated and plan on taking further legal action against them, considering what started this in the first place. Be *very* careful around Chime.

Basically Chime has tried to stop me from receiving my provisional credit from my dispute I placed for 113 transactions. On the 9th day chime closed my dispute as completed and consider all transactions that took place were no error. (I have provided written proof that I was in mental Facility during the transactions in question.) I also provided a police report as the perps who did this are individual who was working for the facility I was admitted in due to them having my belongings (phone, wallet, etc during my time there) however, chime denied and completed my dispute unlawfully, unprofessionally and unethically.
Chime did not at the time of closure contact any merchants in question (as I have been dealing with them already). Chime also did not (if they did contact merchants) wait for a merchant to respond to an error or no error transaction confirmation which will determine which disputes are valid and what disputes are not. (I have mention this to chime individuals multiple times.)
Here is where We have an issue. I Justin ** ask chime for my provisional credit (you ask why do I ask for that when this is a rebuttals). Simply in order for this to be a rebuttals my original dispute needed to be completed correctly (contacting merchants, awaiting the 45 days they have to reply if not sooner to determine the authenticity of the transactions.) That did not occur with chime on August 3rd so the dispute was never completed to be denied. (This is why I ask for my provisional credit) also, the dispute is 113 transactions and ironically it was completed the day before the provisional credit is allowed.
This brings me down to this. It’s not just 100-300 dollars. It’s over 11,000 dollars. This has affected not only my household but my ability to maintain my self awareness and mental health along with me taking care of my kids. (6 months prior my kids' mother died. A month before my mental health issue my mother died) so all I’ve been asking and begging for is help to maintain and I get nothing. No one wants to assist me like where is the customer service? However today has been the day at 1119 I get an email responding back to my email stating “They are working on my claim and that visa has up to 44 days to respond. This is a lot of information and we want to look through it correctly as the Merchant wants to do the same.” I know right but just a few days ago you denied my claim in 9 days but today you saying that the merchant has this much time and have not realized back to my claims status yet (but you denied my dispute how so?)
So after I speak with Veronica a supervisor she says basically is really rude, cutting me off, speaking over me, has no respect for me or for my situation or the fact that my kids are literally sitting here watch me cry and yell and they suffer from being hungry. At this point I hung the phone up on her rude disrespectful **. Now it’s 1140ish and I received emails from dispute dept stating my redispute also has been declined. While there are definite positives to banking at Chime, to me, the negatives far outweigh them. Some positives are that you often get direct deposits a day or two quicker, which is nice. And you can overdraw a certain amount (starts at $20 I think - despite their claims about $100, and slowly moves up. After 2 years I'm at $80) without any fees. There aren't any of those pesky bank fees which is nice; however, I'd rather pay a small fee and get decent service, which brings me to the negatives.
Dispute process is an absolute joke - they don't reimburse you for 10 business days and the entire process is a huge hassle. Literally anytime I've needed assistance they've been unable to assist me. Their mobile check deposit system is really picky and only works with zero shadows on the check and all of these other conditions that are difficult to meet. They often send you emails that are the exact opposite of what is going on (for example: today I got an email saying my card got disabled due to fraud but I had discussed disabling my card tomorrow at midnight with an agent. Turns out my card isn't disabled after all.)
And don't even try to deposit cash -- it's an absolute nightmare. You literally have to go to Walmart or 7-11 and pay a significant fee to deposit it it's comical. I do not recommend this, especially with all the fraud out there. Better to stick to a real bank even though you have to pay fees and wait a little longer for your check. It'll be worth it when stuff goes wrong, trust me.

After I returned the truck they would refund that money and take what I actually owed them. Everything on Uhaul's end was done. Chime however never refunded that money from the hold. They are trying to say that it was released back to my account but it wasn't. Not only that but they also completely make the hold transaction disappear. They were not helpful at all with getting my money back to me. And they need to not take hold transactions off of your statements. It should be in there that it was taken out then when it is refunded back it should show that also.
They tried telling me that it was taken out of my funds when it clearly was. If you look at my transactions before it disappeared it clearly shows where it was subtracted from my money and it was never added back to my account. Have to say I am very disappointed in this because I really do like them but this is absolutely ridiculous that they cannot see that it was never added back to my account. I kept track of what went out and what came in.

Chime is a mobile banking app. I have very mixed feelings about Chime. It is VERY frustrating that they boast about their two-day early direct deposits, when in actuality it is VERY RARE that they even deposit my paycheck in my account two days early. It's very willy-nilly on the timing. Also, they are VERY hard to reach. I had an issue trying to pay bills online. The only way to "talk" with anyone at Chime was through their chat. It's frustrating that every time I had to get out of chat to do what they had me do, I would get another person and have to start my story over and over and over and over and over and over. I finally got so tired of re-explaining things I just paid another way on all my bills.
Additionally, I cannot get their mobile deposit part of the app to work. None of the checks I've tried to deposit are ever accepted. The best part of Chime is the Spot Me part of their app. It's nice that if you accidentally go over your balance by a couple of dollars that your aren't charged $30, $40, $50 or more dollars. As a teacher, I live on a very tight budget, as we only get paid once a month. I chose Chime because my husband passed away and I was relocating for jobs. It's nice when moving jobs that I don't have to keep closing accounts and opening accounts. I can provide my employer immediate account info for direct deposit. I have been with Chime for probably two years if not longer. In the beginning I joined out of convenience and necessity, it was easy to send money back and forth between a few people who already had the card and the lack of fees and extra charges is what made it even more appealing. I quickly fell in love with the card I decided to enroll in direct deposit and shortly after it became my primary financial institution. I have access to free ATMs all over Phoenix Az. I don’t pay any extra fees for cash back or penalties for low balance. Soon after I was eligible for spot me feature and it was great. It covered me on those days where I may have been short. But the time I realized the integrity of the company was during the Covid pandemic. Man let me tell you. They raised the spot me for so many. They gave out prizes and benefits. They gave an option to use the chime credit building card.
So many different little perks and after you get paid and you pay back the spot me there’s no fees. Just a small request to submit a tip that will allow chime to continue providing these great perks and the tip is optional. It’s not even a pushy request. They make it clear it won’t affect you and it doesn’t. I am very grateful for my account. Spot me saved me. I was going through a rough patch during the peak of COVID and right then I got the email of the increase. It was like a miracle.. So thank you Chime for the services and products you provide and your all around genuine care for your customers

Initially, Chime took pretty good care of me. However, I failed to read the fine print concerning daily withdrawals. Chime doesn't allow more than 500 dollars per day to be taken from an ATM, or Transferred with Western Union, and/or MoneyGram. Typically I don't make withdrawals this large, however, I am trying to catch up on back rent, so that I won't be evicted. At the moment, my apartments are only accepting transfers, because the balance is past due.
When I called, customer service didn't show a lot of interest in bending the rules. What they told me is that I could go to convenience stores, and get cashback with my purchases. (That's not going to take all day.) However, this was the extent that Chime was willing to go to help me withdraw my money in order to pay back rent. And, this would be a ONE-time thing. I just want to get caught up, so that I can move on. You would think, with the government setting aside billions of dollars to make sure that people can pay their rent, that Chime would bend the rules for someone once. DON'T COUNT ON IT. Customer Service was insensitive, dismissive, and distant.

I had to call them back to figure out what the hell was going on, they "escalated" the claim and told me to wait another 3 business days to get the provisional credit, meaning someone LITERALLY wasn't doing their job. 3 business days later, they denied my claim and said it was closed, however the individual transactions say "Still working on it" with a Closed claim status via the Chime App. Oh, also, they want you, the customer, to print out and fill out by hand all the transactions and charges being disputed/submitted as fraudulent. What the hell year are we in, 1993?
I tried to get a hold of the claims dept, and got transferred about 3 times until I finally got a Customer Service "Manager," she was EXTREMELY rude and kept talking over me and cutting me off, never gave me an answer to my question of "If the provisional credit was supposed to be issued within 10 business days, then why was it never issued?" I even asked her to put me on hold and go talk to someone in the claims dept, because apparently they literally don't have phones in that dept (at least, that's what she told me) and no communication is available via telephone between customer or employees to the claims dept. UPDATED 5/11/2021: Chime replaced my $40 that was taken out of my account May 10, 2021. I’m thankful they did. I was able to contact someone via the Chime app and email. All those whom I spoke with was able to successfully put my money back in my account. Thanks Chime.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was enjoying my experience with Chime until this morning. I’m glad I check my account regularly. There was a direct debit withdrawal (Money taken directly from card) from my account. They said it was a payment for my Student Loans. How ironic none of my student loans are due at this time.

I hate banks. They rip you off, charge you interest on the fees they tack on for EVERYTHING, overdraft charges for overdraft protection (what?). Deposit a check into your account and who knows how long they hold it before you can access it..yeah, no thanks! Chime, literally, does none of the crappy bank stuff and does everything you really need your bank to do. I just deposited a large check, using the mobile check cashing feature, on the first attempt and you know what the fee was? ZERO.
I have a Spot Me amount of $100 if I am a little short before payday (also, ZERO!) and I have a separate Credit Builder account that uses the money I deposit, to build my credit and report it monthly to credit agencies. I do nothing except spend the money I deposit, they do everything else! Oh, and they gave me a super awesome METAL credit card after x-amount of purchases! It is so legit, I hate to be this shallow, but it validates me (lol). I love Chime and would 100% recommend them to anyone who will listen!

Do not trust Chime. Somehow my credit card info got stolen (their new credit builder card) after a week of me having it. Someone tried to make large transactions that didn't go through, and some did. Now my account is negative! I disputed the claims and they said I had 9 business days to fill out the form. After 4 business days, I get an email saying that there was no billing error. I was physically at work at the time, I have proof and my employers can verify. I have been with Chime for over 5 years and I have never had a problem until now. I have also never had my info stolen either so I guess it's an okay bank unless somebody decides to steal your bank info. The dispute process can take up to 45 days or more and now my account is negative and they will probably try to shake me down for the amount. If you don't mind your money being stolen, this might be an okay bank for you.

These people are unprofessional, and thieves. I had 13100 deposited along with 500 taken. They made it to where I can't even contact them and closed my account. BEWARE. Don't trust them. They are not legit nor care for their customer.

Every single customer service rep will recite the entire book on how not to provide you with any customer service resolutions at all. They will let you know that they can do nothing about it so basically I would like to do something about them. I would like to encourage you to avoid this disgusting business etiquette and all the many problems that will follow. If you need a bank then I suggest you go to a real Bank. These banking apps are not accepted everywhere. They are not acknowledged in certain aspects but most of all a bank that refuses to be a bank that tells you that they can do nothing about the money that you put in their Bank. Whatever that situation is avoid this horrible horrible business.

I called them and warned them about text and emails saying I changed my account info. I called them and they said they didn’t see anything, Then 5 mins later I had no access and over 3300 was taken out of my account, I called the next day. They refunded the money and made me changed my email info THEN had the nerve to suspend me for suspicious activity.... A little too late for that now. Now I have no access and please don’t try calling them because they can only be reached thru emails they say and they don’t respond to them. It amazes me how they know nothing when it comes to needing answers. They’re good if you never have fraud occurs because you will be treated differently.

I love Chime so much. I have been with them for 4 years now and they are the best deposit card around. Would highly recommend them to anyone. I love the fact that you get a deposit two day earlier than you are supposed to and sometimes it earlier than that.

I can't say enough good things about Chime. Chris ** & Ryan ** have created an online banking experience that is bar-none. The platform is engaging, personable, easy to access & enjoyable to use. Worried about customer service? Well, though their CSI bot could use more programming to help it identify and solve problems of a more nuanced nature, it will nevertheless connect you to a live human being whenever asked. Type "I need a human" et voilá!—and the human will be friendly and helpful too (they have been to me). I could go on and on about how great this online bank is, but I have to get back to work. If you don't already bank with Chime, I strongly encourage that you give them a chance. You won't be dissatisfied. Happy banking.

I have been with Chime about 2 years. Very few issues until recently. They claim my account was compromised. I don't believe this. They suspended my account. They refuse to reopen. I have complied with all the request for identification, driver's license and photos of this and that. It has now been nine days.. they deliberately and maliciously have taken me around in circles and played games. They have over 4,000 complaints against them just in the state of California where they are located in San Francisco.. I believe they are all so racist. I have gone through stuff and been talked to very disrespectfully.. they do not care if the money in your account is yours or where it came from or if you need or not. They have no scruples, no integrity and I do not recommend going with chime..
According to research it says that chime can no longer call themselves a bank or a banking Institution. They have to call their selves chime Technologies.. They are under the umbrella of Bank Corp and Stride Banks. I still do not have access to my account even after complying 100%.. income is from the federal government so there is nothing fraudulent on my side. There should be consequences and I believe they are breaking the law. Beware of chime card and or chime calling themselves a bank.

Keep up the good work Chime. I truly appreciate how you appreciate me & the amazing job your company does to meet my everyday needs & the lengths the company goes to making sure me & my account are safe is very impressive. Great online bank. Love getting paid early. There are really no fees. My online complaint is about the app me feature. I've been having my direct deposit sent there and have used the spot me feature many times but my limit has still yet to increase. It would be nice if that could be increased once in awhile for steady customers who use direct deposit.

Chime is getting people for their money. They closed my account. Soon as I got my stimulus check, my income tax return and also my unemployment they close my account with nearly $10,000 in there. They asked me for documents that I provided more than enough. W2 forms, proof of ID, proof of address, all of that and they still do not want to open my account telling me no refund. They are scheming and lying to people. Do not get them. I'm currently trying to file for a class action lawsuit. They need to pay for everything that they're doing. If you go to direct deposits website you'll see all the people that are going through this as well. They are sending our identification the other states to sell them so we can be frauded. They have my kids money in there. They have my money in there. They put me through so much stress for almost 2 months now. This is ridiculous. Everyone needs to hit up the BBB, the OCC, also get in contact with your local news station and tell them about that as well. This really needs to go viral.

At first everything was pretty good! Sending money to family was so easy and instantly received, earned 1.0, no fees, extra $40-$100 offered free that you can borrow to cover overdrafts if necessary even! I thought wow this is how banks should be! Several months go by and interest rate suddenly drops no warning, few weeks after that my account is suddenly frozen without warning or with permission or even a notification sent to me and how I found out was when I had an emergency a day or 2 after it was frozen. I needed money right away of course and I couldn’t use my card or get any help from them to send money to my husband's account even, NOTHING. They pretty much said, "Oh well you’ll have to wait for the new card in the mail!" I was told it was because they thought a fraudulent transaction was made which it wasnt it was mine and they declined the payment on top of it.
Then several months after that is when THE BIG “I CANT BELIEVE YOU DID THIS” EVENT HAPPENED!! THEY HAD BEEN STEALING MY PAYMENTS TO A NEW CREDIT CARD I JUST OPENED!! I was trying to create a higher credit score for myself after many many years of not ever needing or thinking of such things. But smh, I stupidly didn’t notice it happening until the 3rd payment! The first 2 payments only one was sent but the CC company that it went to took over a week to process the payments and with 6 daughters and the 500 emails I get a day and holy hectic life, I just missed the email that it was declined. I was new to the internet on top of it which didn’t help at all..
The second time it happened I had a lot of activity on it and didn’t keep track of the balance close enough to dispute the amounts chime said I had at the time of the transactions but oddly though I could have sworn there was plenty in there to cover everything, I know there was but couldn’t prove it so I said I’m not letting that happen again. I'm making screenshots before and after of each major transaction so they can’t ever tell me I had insufficient funds ever again! So the 3rd transaction to my CC Company I had to make a triple payment to catch up on my balance and payments which was $250! Payments I made already but had to pay again because it caused overdue payments, late fees, and my credit score dropped almost 100points the next month from it!! I had to pay it all immediately and Couldn’t wait for Chime to pay me back or it would only get worse and well it did!
My card was closed even though I paid it and told they wouldn’t reinstate me because I just opened it and they never got paid but 1 payment! I tried to defend myself but I had no luck (which was kind of mean of Credit one Bank to do especially that I had proof of the illegal behavior Chime did to me)! So I am very insulted by them having no compassion whatsoever. I just kept saying, "Please don’t do this to me. It’ll ruin my credit even more that I’ve tried so very hard to raise to buy a decent car and a little house for us." I contacted and argued and pleased and argued some more and showed them my photos and figures from Jan - and every other day since up to today, over 4 months of demanding they pay me back, I have proof. How dare you say I had insufficient funds each time I made a payment!!
They would flat out lie to me and send the same scripted response, word for word by every single CS rep I contacted and I’ve submitted over 30 requests and complaints to every branch of communication I could access too! Now I’m out for blood and will take this to the next level and sue them for ruining my credit, my credit scores, my trustworthiness to my card companies and the domino effect caused by it all. They have to be brought to justice for this blatant deviant behavior! I’m not giving up one bit! You messed with the wrong Mom CHIME! I can’t even sleep anymore over this. I feel so frustrated and stabbed in the back! Ughh.

Their website doesn't work and their customer service is non existent. If you try to open an account make sure you have a newer phone that can get all the pictures they need for verification. No old phones allowed and no other option like emailing photos. They use bots to reply to emails. You cannot get any help with your problems and there will be no resolution other than locking you out of your account. I'd hate to think that they can lock people out with money in their accounts and you would be left with no customer service to handle your problem.
