    I have been sending checks to pay my credit cards and they aren’t receiving them. I’ve been sending them well before they are due. I’ve accrued two late fees now I owe a huge payment. Also I’ve been getting expired checks for my husband's car payment, now we are getting late fees for that loan. I called Chime and got an A.I. on the line who was of no help and no option to talk to a real person.

    This is the worst payment app I've ever tried to use!!!! I have four others where I was able to immediately transfer money upon downloading. Chime makes you wait until a physical card arrives (in about a week). So, I have money in the account but can't transfer it anywhere until I received the card!!! LUDICROUS!!!!

    Really crazy how bad Chime actually is, this place is not helpful. Don't do their job and don't allow you to deposit into spouse's account if your account won't work.. Chime either needs to close down or do better lol. Worthless chime associates also don't help and only repeat themselves when you tell them what you actually need help with.

    Chime will steal your money and there nothing you can do about it. Stop at a 7-Eleven off the Ohio Turnpike at a Plaza on the Turnpike. I stopped to add money to my card. The cashier took my 500.00 plus the fee for loading card. Has me swipe my card and loaded the card. I had to wait about 20 minutes for the transaction to go through. By that time I am back on the the Turnpike drive. I later checked my card and found that the transaction didn't go through. I called the store. Gave them my transaction number from the receipt, they checked on their end and stated the transaction went through from their end to call my bank. I reached out to Chime and was told I needed to file a dispute. I did.

    Chime later came back and stated that the transaction didn't go through even though I submitted my receipt. I call the store back and spoke with the manager who again stated that the transaction was good on their end. To have Chime call him directly. I reached back out to Chime and informed Chime what I was told and gave them the manager direct number. Waited about two weeks for Chime to investigate only for them to state the same thing. This was my main reason for closing my account because I saw then my money wasn't safe and the customer service was a definite joke.

    DO NOT USE. They do not help you dispute ANYTHING. I sent all the emails from the company I purchased online from, sent proof that they lost my product, and that I never received my product and they refuse to dispute the charges.

    Chime sent me a post card in the mail with a special link that offered a $100 bonus if you set up direct deposit on a new account. It stated you would get the bonus within 10 business days after the first direct deposit of $200 or more. I received 2 direct deposits of well over the $200 amount. 10 business days past and nothing. I called and was escalated and a supervisor. The rep stated she saw I put in the code for the offer but did not know why I did not get the bonus. The issue was escalated further and I got an email a day later stating I would not get the bonus because the offer expired. I stated it wasn’t expired when I signed up. They failed to honor their promise so I told them I would be closing the account.

    I got a snarky reply back saying to let them know when to cancel the account and they would send me a check for the balance in the account. Basically- a I don’t care go ahead and close the account email. They failed to offer a reasonable resolution after I met all criteria they asked for.     If I could give this so called company 0 stars I would. Do not put your money in this bank. They do not protect your money and deny your disputes. Be smart and take your money elsewhere. I filed a dispute for fraud on my card, provided them the police report and several other documentations and they still denied my claim. I lost almost $5000 dollars even though I had all the evidence.

    The most disgusting bank I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I filed a dispute for $360 for services not rendered. I was supposed to receive a visa for a trip to Dubai and never received one. My claim was denied and I couldn't understand why because I did not get the services from the merchant. You would think this is a no-brainer in terms of me winning this dispute. I sent them all the evidence, receipts, and evidence of me communicating with the merchant, who then seized communication when I confronted them.

    Chime had the nerve to tell me that they got evidence from the merchant (who was a scammer) to disprove my claim. What evidence could you get from a merchant that would be stronger than me telling you that I did not receive my visa from that merchant? They basically chose to believe the merchant over their customer & not once within the 30 days of the investigation did they reach out to me to say "hey this is what we have" or "hey have you received the visa yet" because I would've told them no. They just went with what the merchant told them, they believed the scammer. How ridiculous! I wish I were making this up, but It's been three months now and I still have no visa.

    As a result of this scam, I had to pay thousands of dollars to rearrange flights because I ended up with no visa to that particular destination. I was traveling with kids and It was just the worst experience and to then have my bank turn around and tell me they can't even get $360 back from a scammer… I had to close my account! It's just the principle. You let someone get away with my hard earned money and this was a very straightforward situation of someone took my money and promised something I did not get! Do not bank with these people, they are incompetent. When I called to inquire about my dispute, the representative and her supervisor sounded just as confused as to why the dispute team denied my claim.

    Chime is the worst bank ever! Employees unable to fix any problems or glitches to do with banking. Beware on the MyPay feature because the system just randomly changes it every week for no reason at all. I can testify I am a salaried employee so my income doesn't change monthly. But yet every paycheck they'll raise it at beginning of the month then each week depress the limit until you find yourself losing almost your entire paycheck to Chime and you paid them probably $10 or more in fees to end up losing all your money for entire week's pay. The system is untrustworthy. The bank is untrustworthy and their employees are unable to do anything besides pull up your account and provide automated responses, which make zero sense! Please stay away from Chime!!!

    Beware of the False advertising with Chime regarding SpotMe and MYpay. MYpay is not instant like Chime advertises. It is in small increments daily over time. So Chime can getting all of the $2.00 fees for using. And SpotMe never increases. And I have been a customer with Chime for about 4 years now and the spot me never increases. And I have patiently been waiting for the Spot me increase with recurring direct deposits for the whole time from the same employer. And customer service is absolutely Horrible. They can not resolve any issues and the managers are worse, their English skills are very poor. I asked Manager Jeff about complaint process and he said they don't have any. Do Not make this your main banking. Only for frivolous things and you put on the card what you want, Get a real bank account for your direct deposit and real banking needs.

    Chime Debit Card Review: Disappointed with Dispute Resolution. I’ve been a loyal Chime user for quite some time, but my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed. Someone unauthorized used my debit card, and despite providing all the necessary evidence, including detailed explanations, Chime denied my dispute. This was incredibly frustrating, as I trusted them to protect my finances. I also thought I froze my account 3 days before more money was taken out. The app told me my account was frozen and a new card was on the way but that wasn't true.

    What’s worse is the lack of clear communication and support throughout the process. I expected a more thorough investigation, especially since this was a serious issue involving fraud. Unfortunately, I felt like my concerns were dismissed, leaving me to deal with the financial loss on my own. While Chime has some great features like no hidden fees and early direct deposit, their dispute resolution process has been a letdown. I hope they improve their customer service and take fraud claims more seriously in the future. For now, I’m reconsidering whether this is the right financial institution for me. Randy

    I was scammed and they put a case through after I called. Around 24 hours later they closed the case and didn’t get my money back. Now I’m out $60 for their faulty system. I recommend Citizen’s. They’re better!

    THE WORST! If I could give zero stars I would. I never received my cards and am still trying to get my deposit back. My latest call about my deposit has taken 35 minutes and I'm still trying to get someone to help me after being transferred 8 times and being put on hold (maybe in the hope I'll give up). None of the advice I was given about using the app to transfer money back to myself (CVV needed for an activated card) has worked and no one is willing to return my money. Chime makes it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to get the deposit back.

    Had a case where my son was in a severe accident, hospitalized for several months. I got a POA to handle his financial affairs. Even after uploading the document 3 times, and getting a confirmation all 3 times that someone would contact me within 4 hours, never happened. I called every few days and the agents all said they could do nothing until I uploaded the POA. I told them I had already done so 3 times. They said, "Sorry, I can't do anything, you'll just have to wait for someone to contact you." It took about 10 days before we got it resolved. A horrible company to deal with.

    This is the most difficult banking app! It's a scam to keep money. They send card in 15 days that you need to transfer money out. Money goes back to sender in 14 days if not transferred. Customer service barely speaks english and definitely not understand english. Save your time, find a bank. 671 sent to me from renter. I had to activate a Chime card to get money but card won't come for 15 days. My bank printed statement says funds are returned to renter after 14 days. So had to transfer part amount to debit card with 8.75% fee and have to wait until monday to try to get the rest out. Will never allow renters to use again

    Chime says this promo is not active even though it's active on their website. Later they stated it's active and asked me to complete the requirements which will make me eligible for the bonus of $250 by getting a $500 direct deposit within 30 days. I did it exactly like I was told, only to be denied the bonus again. Chime owes me $250 at this point in time.

    They started me off with a very terrible AI secretary thing, which is always a very bad idea because they can never do what I need and I always ask to speak to an actual person, my toddler accidentally hit. Send me a new card on my phone and I called them seriously two seconds later for them to let them know that that wasn’t true and that I had my card on me and they basically told me that I was screwed and then I have to wait about a week for it to get here, no help at all. So now I’m behind on my car payment, all because they can’t get their stuff together and reverse a simple thing. Not to mention, everybody I talk to didn’t speak English as a main language. If I’m calling from America, I want to talk to somebody that speaks fluent English as their first language. They couldn’t even help me with the most simple thing; they couldn’t even expedite me a card overnight, completely useless.

    I have been a Chime customer for a few years and until a few days ago have always been so pleased. But I just filed a claim and that's where they FAIL big time. It is 4 days later and they keep telling me they are straightening out the claim but each day it keeps getting worse. They were 2 claims and one was resolved in 2 days but the second one has been going on for 4 phone calls. Each rep telling me they are taking care of the claim and then there is no claim there. I call back and they say the same thing. 4 days later still no claim and they tell me they are the only ones that can help me and that there is no one else there, no supervisors no managers. But why do I have to keep calling and getting nowhere. So obviously Chime is only good if there are no problems.

    If you have a transaction that you don't receive or a fraudulent charge they are not going to be there for you. Or at least put you through the mill before anyone will do anything. This is the 4th call and they just told me it is taken care of AGAIN, so we shall see. Each person has said that and today am told there were no claims there.

    Chime froze my account for alleged fraud. They requested I submit documentation proving my identity. Each time, they asked for additional documentation. Once my identity was confirmed, they asked for proof of residence. Then bank statements, then a letter from the bank, then a utility bill. So far, I’ve provided my driver's license, passport, a copy of my lease, two different utility bills, multiple bank statements, a letter from the bank confirming they are my bank statements and more. Chime has refused to reactivate my account and refused to release my funds. Each time claiming they need more information. This has been going on since 2023 and is still not resolved. Their policies are unreasonable and predatory. Tonight 9/5/25, customer service said they can no longer do anything and hung up on me and online customer service failed to complete any progress on my account. I will be taking legal action.

    I deposited a paper payroll check 8 days ago. They gave me half at time of deposit. I'm still waiting for the other half. They say I will get it tonight at 9 pm. 5 business days hold plus holiday mixed in. This has caused me a great deal of grief not to have this money.

    I signed up with Chime and I seen if you get direct deposit of $500, you will get $250. I had 2 direct deposits totaling over $500. Then they tell me it has to be one single direct deposit, not multiple ones. When I chatted with someone, they told me something totally different. Two different answers and ABSOLUTELY no help really!!

    I would give 0 stars if I could. Beware, they will let your account get hacked and say it’s your fault. I had multiple fraud alerts and said no to each one and they still managed to take money out of my account! Chime will not back you, they will apologize and that’s it. I’m in a huge bind and they don’t care. I’ve even made a police report for theft. Stay away!!!

    Never use this app for your money. They lie about their commercials and when you need assistance they cut you off mid conversation. I had a problem so I needed to talk to a supervisor to help with my problem but she just cut me off mid conversation and I was never helped.

    Chime is a fraudulent and irresponsible company. On Saturday morning, I woke up to a text showing two unauthorized transactions from my account: one for $208.00 and another for $207.50 sent to someone by the name of Jamie H. Around the same time, the phone number and email address connected to my account were changed without my consent. That same day, I provided Chime with a police report number to prove the seriousness of this theft. I immediately contacted Chime. They helped me reset my information and opened a claim. However, at 2:21 a.m. on September 1, I received an email stating that my claim was denied, with the conclusion that no error occurred.

    Not only was my claim denied, but I was also told that I would need to go and obtain a copy of the police report myself and send it in, because Chime does not have the ability to request a report directly. What legitimate financial institution cannot request a police report when provided with the official report number? This shows that Chime is unwilling to do the proper work to investigate fraud.

    It makes no sense that a customer would go to the trouble of filing a police report over their own actions. Chime’s refusal to properly investigate, even after receiving evidence, shows negligence and a lack of accountability. Chime has proven to be a fraudulent and irresponsible company. They allow crimes like this to take place without proper investigation, and they failed to protect my account in the way a true banking institution should. Their lack of security and safeguards has left me vulnerable and without the basic protection that any customer deserves.

    I deposited $200 and they automatically transferred most of it to my credit builder. Mind you, it was negative, but they did not notify me. I needed that money for rent. Apparently they recently updated their terms. I recommend never doing business with this company and if you are l, then find a reputable bank or credit union instead.

    I had charges on my account on June 20 and I couldn’t dispute it until June 21. So I disputed it and they put it under the wrong category and denied it then I sent proof from the merchant in an email saying it would be sent back to me in a refund and I never got the refund from them. They said they shipped it. So I contacted usps and they never did send it. It’s now August 29 2025 and I didn’t get the money or the product and Chime is now saying I’m not eligible for the temporary credit. I have battle chime for 2 months now trying to recover the 500 and they said I won’t receive a refund until November that’s if they find on my behalf that I won’t receive the dispute. This is crazy as hell and terrible customer service and I feel they are not protecting my money from fraud. I do not recommend using chime at all.

    My son had an account with Chime and he passed away. They are absolutely horrible to deal with. Their customer service number is an 800 number to India and they take your “service ticket”. You are lucky if you get a reply at all and then when/if you do they don’t talk with you directly and don’t follow your requests. The worst financial services company I have ever dealt with

    My debit card was stolen. $87 was used & they didn't properly investigate or give me my money back. DO NOT put your direct deposits on this app because your money is not safe. They opened & closed my dispute in just two days. I don't recommend anyone to use this banking. It's definitely fraudulent.

    I have been a customer with Chime since 2018. At first they were amazing! Now, hell no!! I have been disputing fraudulent charges on my card for the last year. They send me another card and guess what, it still happens!!! THEY TAKE 90 days to decline my claim, yet shit keeps happening and it’s all from the same company!!! The fact that they don’t listen have no one that speaks English clearly is frustrating as shit!! Chime is the WORST BANK I’ve ever dealt with! GO ANYWHERE BUT CHIME IF YOU WANT ALL YOUR MONEY HASSLE FREE!!! Chime is bullshit.

    I will never in life have Chime again. A month for 132 dollar dispute and still waiting.. I have closed my kids account, my mom closed hers.. we not talking 500 or 1000 bucks.. just 132 bucks and I have to wait that long never again with chime.. NEVER.. nothing good to offer.. but talk about make sure customers have great experience.. oh good luck with repeating yourself to AI machine, b4 they connect you to a human customer service person..

    I have been with Chime Bank for 5 years. I created the highest level of security, which sends text to phone and message to email. The only message I got in email was a deposit notice. I was not notified by the other transactions which took over $4000 out of my account.

    I had 2 charges from Walmart exact same amount at the same time and they will not fix it, they say it didn't happen. I will tell everyone that Chime will condone fraud, they won't do anything about it so think twice about using chime. They will take your hard earned money and not feel bad about it

    Chime is horrible to deal with because they don’t speak English. Well customer service is absolutely horrible. You don’t get anywhere, so it’s completely worthless to even call them. They had to replace my card twice in a month and they wouldn’t give me one extra day to get money out of my account so I had something to live off of until their card gets here in 7 to 10 business days. Now I’m completely screwed because my Apple account was also hacked and there are certain stores that don’t accept my Apple Pay now, so that is no use to me. I am currently looking for a new bank because this is nothing more than a scam.

    Chime is synonym to "crime". Do not fall for it. I was scammed from Facebook Marketplace transaction paying through "Chime". After being scammed filed a dispute transaction. Waited 10 days of investigation just to be denied. Called their so-called customer service who was speaking from abroad with a half-twisted-tongue accent explained to me that they cannot reopen the case because I authorized it. If I did not lose the money why would I file the complaint of fraudulent transaction? They finally sided with the scammer. BIG LESSON LEARNED.     Chime has been a nightmare for me these past few days. My friend needed $ right away for a car mechanic. A Chime rep told me I would be able to send her $ to her Chime account right away if I put cash in. I spend a few hours doing this because the places Chime listed were not able to. I spend $8 to put cash on Chime only to find out I can't send her $ because my "virtual" card won't work until I get the physical card in the mail.

    Then it got worse. When I finally could move $ back to my checking account, I found out there's a $500/month max limit to movey $ out. Annndddd it got worse. Even though a rep walked me through it, at no point was I warned there would be a $8.75 fee to move that $500 (max allowed) back to my bank account.
    NONE of Chime's employees or supervisors can waive fees. They will blame you for everything for not knowing the fine print (even though many of them don't know it either. ) Every day, for the past 3 days, it's been a nightmare. I wish I never attempted to use Chime & I wired my friend $ instead from the get-go.

    Eventually, I was able to Zelle her $ from my bank account. I **highly** recommend that before ever having a crappy Chime account.

    Only reason for not 5 stars? Changes fees have started when transferring funds. Not a lot but it's a slippery slope. Okay first let me say I have had time since the first year it was doing its thing.... There was a lot of stigma for a long time didn't matter to me though because in my opinion I was the smartest person I knew for having Chime instead of the other guys. However I will say this a handful of things have changed since I opened my account as time has went on chime is starting to now at the end of last year 2024 and now 2025 started trying to be more like it's competitors stupid? Very!

    Is it nearly as bad as any of the other banking institutions or credit unions? No, nowhere's near. But I would like to add that I have certainly peeped the changes in the direction they are seemingly trying to head and I would love to cut them off before they get there and remind them that the only reason why they have all of the customers they have is because they are so different from the other guys. NO FEES. NO BS. NO FUSS. NO MUSS. It's the one bank where you truly feel like you're in the driver seat of your own finances. You want to checking account, Great. You want direct deposit, perfect. You want to savings account, even better. You want a credit builder because you need to build credit and your credit sucks and nobody will give you anything to help make it better? Chime's got your back there too!

    You want to automatically have a percentage of your direct deposit go into your savings account, No worries. You want all of this with no additional fees, no BS, no oh we have to charge you for this and then we have to charge you for that and then we have to charge you for swiping your card then we have to tell you you have to pay so much money to just keep the account open. No you don't have to deal with none of that through CHIME! AND YOUR MONEY COMES EARLIER THAN EVERYONE ELSE YOU WORK WITH EVEN THOSE WHO WORK AT A CREDIT UNION!

    They have virtual cards any card that you have a physical in. They can give you a virtual. You can put the virtual onto your Google Pay. You can turn it off, freeze it, unfreeze it, same with the physical card. There's so many neat features and ways to help you even links to tell you how to get paid for doing surveys and for someone who has banked with them for well over 5 years, probably going on closer to 8 years or more now who had to try to adult with other banking institutions and failed epically, chime is unbeatable! The only thing that could do them in is trying to be more like the other guys!

    You have full control over your money. They even have a thing called spot me and once you are starting to get direct deposits into the account, They loan you a little bit of money here and there, you pay it back, you have a choice on whether or not you pay the like dollar or two fee. But you don't even have to and then if you need to access your savings account money they're not going to charge you for that. It all sounded too good to be true for me in the beginning after everything that I had experienced with other banks surviving into my late twenties having nothing else but those guys.

    Now almost a decade later I swear by time and I don't care about the stigma, I don't care about the looks that I get, it works for me. It's the only reason why I had the credit boost that I got, had it not have been for chime I honestly don't know what I would have done as a single working mother. The spot me feature save the day on more than 100 occasions for well over 3 years! I really don't have enough time or energy or probably space in this box to give you the list of reasons why this is the best bank to have! And it's the only bank that's not stealing from you that's a big plus!

    There is a bit of a stigma around it and I've learned from other people who have chime that sometimes when you go to a hotel they won't accept that as a payment method which is insane. I guess maybe because you can turn off the card? So if they want to charge more. When you leave they can't if you have your card frozen. But I did customer service for Citibank for 2 years when I told almost every customer that called mad they should download the chime app 💯‼️

    I received an unsolicited Chime bank card in the mail. Next I got texts with a one time code. “Call if this isn’t the right person.” I call - they demand my SSN to track it down. They tell me that there is nothing they can do without me giving them my personal info. Basically they imply I must have an account and forgot. My credit is frozen so I know I have none. So stupid. Customer service spoke very poor English.

    Chime help people scam people. I was scammed out of money from a person with the account $PrimeK which has been on chime since 2021 from the profile. This person has ripped off and scammed countless people using this same account and Chime acts like they can't do anything. New form of illegal money activities, money laundering and scamming people. These "Online Banks" are terrible for protecting your money.

    Chime does not protect you from fraud. I have someone making unauthorized transactions with my account. When I asked them first about it being investigated, they told me I had to wait until it finished pending. After it finished pending they still would not investigate because the money went back on there. The problem I have with chime is that was not the only transaction that was authorized. I wanted to know who had obtain my card info and how did they do it. The solutions was to shut card down and get a new one. That's not solving the problem because if they have my current account and I don't know how they are doing. They will get the new info and wipe me out my money at any time.

    I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and I will get my investigation because I want to know who is tracking me and all of us who has a chime account because if you don't watch your transactions chime will let the scammers steal from you. They also attacked me by threatening me with something they call a strike with their company for putting the agent in her place for attacking me and calling me out my name. They total turned things around on me because I requested the info and threatening to shut my account down. It is a conspiracy to keep track of you and your transactions

    They are lucky to even get one star. Originally I decided to try this company, debating about leaving my credit union because they have the option to build credit. Just a few weeks ago I had a transaction on my account that I did not authorize, of the amount of $210.36. I of course did try to call the number of the company and it didn't ring. Then I contacted chime in regards to this matter. Like any other bank I filed a dispute. Within a day, they declined my dispute. I called and addressed the issue thinking I did something wrong. I called and spoke with the supervisor and talked to them about them declining my dispute and she filed it again. I did mention if it gets declined again I will be closing my account. She of course understood my concerns and within a day, they declined my dispute again. I even told her that they used a virtual card for this transaction and I have never used a virtual card.

    I went through the process of changing my payroll. Went to close my account (which they give a grace period for). Today I had another transaction of $70 that was declined because I removed all my money from the account. I mentioned they were using a virtual card again. And they continue to not only not refund my money, but did not listen to my concerns and hung up on me. This is a serious issue and I believe there is a data breach. They said their investigation showed there was no issue but it wasn't me, and I'm concerned that the fraudulent activity is happening inside the company.

    I've had Chime since 2023. They have been great, UNTIL! I sent my nephew $150, BUT the $$ went to someone else in another state with the SAME NAME! They told me to request the $$ from that person, I did TWICE, no response. CHIME says there is nothing they can do. I will NEVER tell anyone AGAIN to use CHIME!

Their customer service is horrible and the number that you call is nothing but an big run around of pressing this number and that number. I want to talk to an live person when I call customer service number. Then, when I finally do get to a live person, they can't do their job correctly or professionally either.     Everything was great with Chime until I had a fraudulent charges, 2 of them, for Vesta AT&T. I’ve never used AT&T so I submitted a claim- which chime denied after their “investigation” and keep giving me the run around on how to dispute the dispute. They basically stole 91$ and I’ve been trying to get it back for weeks now- no luck. Chime “customer service” actually hung up on me today- been trying to call everyday to get my money back.

    I had fraudulent charges over 3 months now. 2 banks TD Bank and we resolved it together. Myself and the investigation team... Same exact charges and fraud. My money was dispersed to out of business companies, Facebook pages, crypto currency and we found out this fake Zelle company that was on Google got all my info from both banks TD paid me. Chime has denied me 17 times. I asked them to talk to TD Bank investigation team. They said they would which is a lie. A computer is making these decisions. I call TD. Asked what program is denying my claims. Refuse to tell me and hang up every time. They owe me over $30k... CHIME IS NOT FDIC INSURED. IT'S STRIDE BANK HIDING BEHIND CRIME FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY COMPANY. These two are so shady and corrupt. How they get to continue this is beyond me.

    Chime’s own fund verification process for mobile deposits takes WAY too long. Each time I deposit even the smallest amount under $200, there is a five business day hold, no ifs ands or buts, with not even access to $10. This is extremely inconvenient and goes against the standard two business day hold that the majority of the banking industry follows, except for in cases of very large amounts over $1000. I will be cancelling my Chime account and will be going back to more traditional banking where there are at least representatives willing to compromise and actually help. All Chime reps ever do is apologize, but they don’t help.

They take your money instantly off now soon as you deposit it for your loan and your credit builder and your debit card and your MyPay without asking you since it's updated that way now and they won't reverse your money back.     Chime is a garbage FinTech company and NOT a viable alternative to traditional banking. In my experience, they closed my account without warning and without an explanation. I have great credit, a steady income, and never violated any policies, but my account was still closed for no reason. When calling to ask for explanation, they would not provide one and told me to withdraw all of my money. Otherwise they would mail me a check within 30 days. Use at your own risk!

    If the person you refer is paid monthly it is very difficult to meet the arbitrary 45 day deadline for the 1st direct deposit. If the referral isn’t able to meet the 45 day arbitrary deadline. Social Security, Most retirement systems pay monthly & a direct deposit change takes 30 days or longer. Chime knows this, so that’s why they chose 45 days. Very Scammy! A lot of people are on fixed incomes & are really counting on the referral bonus.

    I've had Chime for years. 6 yrs, and I had no problem until now. Besides the non English speaking who you can barely understand customer service reps I dealt with chime & when I needed the most, they failed. I forgot they paused my account & deposited 40. They took it & won't return it. Nobody wants to give their name because they don't want to be called out for bad customer service. Today I depart with chime, middle finger to the sky.

    Chime is a contender for the Academy Award of the worst companies to deal with. For all I know there are services or great. What isn't great is when you don't want any of their services and you can't stop them. Their emails don't have an unsubscribe. When you log in to your account, there's no way for you to maintain your email preferences. When I call them I had to spend 15 minutes dealing with the most obnoxious. AI robot I've ever seen. It pretended to be really smart, but it wasn't smart enough to follow my simple instruction to shut up. And I only wanted to talk to a human person. When it's older to be quiet it kept telling coming in every thirty seconds to ask me if I was still there and repeat more than thirty seconds of how they understand my wish to talk to a human.

    When I finally got a human, it was almost as bad as a robot. That's the problem with these customer aid aid sites. The person I spoke to kept asking stupid questions like what did the email say. What difference does that make? All they need is to look app my account and take my instruction to stop sending me emails. So when she kept insisting that she wanted to know what the email said, I began reading what it said.

    I repeated all the dribble and it took me 5 minutes to get halfway through it before I stopped and asked. Do you like this? I said it doesn't matter what the email says. I'm trying to get you to stop sending me old emails. I've never wasted so much time with an idiot. If I knew her name I'd put it here. All I can do is warn. Everybody not to get a chime account. Don't give them your email. Don't give them your phone number. You will regret it. The date I gave of my experience was just a Start date. It's almost 2 weeks later, and I'm not convinced that it has ended.

    I received a call from Chime Bank on 7/24/25 at 5:24PM- from the same 844-244-6363 number listed on the back of my card. The call lasted 16 minutes. They wanted to confirm recent fraudulent activity. Since the number matched and the representative was able to confirm all of my information I confirmed the fraudulent activity (as I had not used my card in either locations) and we activated a new virtual card number through the Chime App. I was asked to transfer my balance of $234.53 to this new virtual card. I was provided a case No of **. Once I had done that my balance was nowhere to be found.

    I immediately contacted Chime at 5:41PM and 5:47PM and was disconnected twice after going through the prompts. At 5:47PM I reached a representative and was on the phone for 31 Minutes. I was sent to 3 different representatives who all asked the same questions regarding what had happened and kept transferring me to the "fraud department". I requested a new debit card and credit builder card. I have not received either.

    Eventually I received an email confirming the dispute (Dispute **) on 7/24/25 at 6:01PM and then an email on 7/25/25 at 9:44PM stating "Based on our investigation, we have concluded no error occurred." I contacted Chime again 7/26/25 at 8:11AM and submitted evidence of the initial call (Incoming) received from a Chime representative and my subsequent follow-ups (Outgoing) and reopened my dispute (Claim ID: **). On 7/31/25 at 8:16AM I received an email stating "Based on our investigation, we have concluded no error occurred. Therefore, no funds will be credited to your account and this claim is considered closed." They had both disputes listed as "Dispute Type: Pay Friends - Unauthorized Transfer" which is inaccurate. This was fraudulent and I am concerned I was scammed by an internal representative. I had been a member since 2023, but have since closed my account and will no longer do business with Chime.

    If I could leave negative stars I would. Chime has been a nightmare. They do not follow OCC or FDIC regulations. They have been sued multiple times and audited and ordered to pay because they have scam practices. For example, government checks are held despite traditional banks following rules. At one point my check cleared the payer in 1 business day and chime held the check for 6 additional days claiming non clearance. Then I filed a complaint with the OCC and BBB so they literally just ignored my requests and started hanging up on me.

    I’ve been with Chime for nearly 6 years and the few times that I’ve ever had to file a dispute. It’s constantly denied. And I feel like they are incentivized to deny the dispute. This last go round I was made to believe the customer care representative understood exactly what I was going through and agreed with me and the dispute was settled in less than a day and denied. My card was used to verify a real human on an Apple account for a free app download. All of a sudden I had $134 in charges and under 10 minutes from Apple. I immediately remove the card and try to dispute the transactions which I later found out two weeks later did not go through. So I called the number to file the dispute with a person on the other end. Who agreed with me that I should not have been charged. He said my dispute could take up to 90 days.

    Then he asked me a series of questions which I feel were set up to deny the dispute and that belief was solidified because in less than 24 hours, I got a notification saying that my claim was denied. This is the third time in six years that I’ve gone through something like this. On top of that, I asked them not to lock my card because I had already handled it and they insisted and said it was to protect me, and it was the only way for the dispute to go through. So my claim got denied, and my card got locked With a promise of sending a new one which won’t be here for two weeks. I have bills tied to that card, which I’m now going to have to go through and reset every single one of them. I will be looking for a new provider.

    I have been with Chime for almost three months. I have a significant amount in direct deposits. The first month, I got my deposit early on the 23th of that month versus 28 or 29th with my other bank - which was cool. The next month it was the 25th - still fine maybe it deposited later. This month I receive a email giving ambiguous information about week before my deposit - it is the 26th and no deposit. I inquired on the 25th and they say they don’t have my deposit. It’s VA issued and I know they are lying - checked with VA to be sure.

    At this point, I have no idea when my funds will be deposited but this is my last month with Chime. I know banks hold funds for profit/interest hence free checking with direct deposits. But to blatantly lie and hold my funds for profit is or should be illegal. I will be contacting the CFPB and filing a complaint. They are bordering on a scam. I took a chance never again - I’ll stay with the established banks and know the policies. Please beware and if you use them don’t put anything significant with this company. Use it for what the advertised with a small amount of funds.

    I contacted Chime via chat for an issue with my direct deposit and my pay. The agent refused to resolve my problem and ended the chat. I called and spoke with a representative and a manager and they refused to resolve my problem and hung up on me. The information listed on their website was not what they were telling me. They kept giving me excuses and refusing to listen to what I had to say. They were rude and letting me off and finally hung up on me.     Chime is my secondary bank. The payday two day early feature is a nice ploy to attract people to use chime. However, my direct deposit has been inconsistent, despite my payroll processor being on time every time. Honestly, I’m happy Chime isn’t my primary bank, “financial institution” as they call themselves. I rather know when my money is coming in, even if that means waiting till Friday morning consistently like with my primary bank verses trying to guess when it comes with Chime. Sometimes it’s a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Chime isn’t for everyone, I personally thank it’s trash! Respectfully. After receiving my next direct deposit I will be closing down my account indefinitely. Save yourself the stress and guess work! Get an actual bank account, and a debit card that isn’t viewed as a prepaid debit card, which Chime is viewed as. Put your money in a reputable bank or credit union not a “financial institution”.

    I've been a Chime customer for years and for The most part chime has f me over every time I do a dispute. I have money taken out of my account from three different peoples when my phone was lost and all these people live in Texas and I stay in Florida trying completed a dispute in one day and didn't give me none of my money back. They did this to me for 3 years straight every time money is getting taken out of my account and I don't know these people and I don't know what's going on.

    I only deal with them until I find a reasonable bank account time is not really worth my time or effort anymore when it comes down to disputing stuff and people is stealing money out of your bank account when your work hard and time does not do nothing to fix the problem. The representatives are so rude some of them when you ask them for their name or how they talking to you they cut you off and if you don't like what they saying they will hang up in your face I dealt with this all last week.

    I noticed I was being charged many times for Prime yet I don’t have a prime account. I replaced my card many times as per reps and still no resolution, someone internal is stealing or using my info to pay for their account. I keep disputing it, and they keep blowing it off. When I ask to speak to a manager they hang up the phone. I would never do business with them again. They do pass on all your info and all to other business or someone internal use your info, not secure. Now getting a lawyer involved. This is more than 3 times this has happen.

    I receive money on an irregular basis. The person paying uses Chime because they pay no fees. I set up chime and got my payment. However, chime will not transfer to my external account until I receive my physical card. They say it will take over two weeks to get my card. So, chime is holding my money hostage and will not release it to me. I do not intend to use their virtual card and do not trust them. I need the funds in my external account not on a virtual card. Chime refuses to release my money to me. What they do may be legal but it is very unethical. Avoid this company if you have any other option.

I don't have an employer and after putting in the routing number and checking account number I tried to finish the sign in and after spending 5 hours trying to get the account set up I finally quit because I was running out of battery power. And when trying to get assistance from the customer service you would stand a better chance of escaping a prison. The help section doesn't even come close to the problem I'm having.

    I am finally getting money from the guardian (who was "appointed ' because of perjured testimony saying that I need help with everything but breathing). I have gone a year and a half without money and they finally got around to sending me a whole $25.00 a month for expenses. 2 of the checks are already VOID and I only have until August 3 to get it cashed or deposited or it to will become VOID. And don't go to the support email because it's just a form letter in email. My daughter uses Chime and the ads on TV say they are better than sliced bread. What a tip off. I have left a complaint with the BBB. These people should not be dealing with people's money.

    Chime Seems like that they don't care about their customers and some customers are very loyal and have been banking with them for a long time. I filed a dispute on July 6, 2025 for the amount of $80.00. And Suppose with a customer service representative on July 16, 2025. And were told that I may not get my refund back until September 22, 2025. Never had a problem with Chime before up until now seems to me that Chime is not going to reimburse me for a transaction that happened to me. The Chime ATM machine was out of money and still took the money out of my account and didn't get any money that day. I were taking my grandson swimming and we could not go because of this transaction. That made me and my grandson very unhappy.

    After spending way too much time talking to bots, I finally got to speak to a real representative, Paul, who told me that the shutdown of my ability to use mobile check deposits is “permanently in place with no way to restore it. ‘He further explained that since I had deposited a check of $15,000 in 2021, this likely caused the system to shut this feature down. After letting Paul know how dissatisfied I was with this response, but affording him the opportunity to do his job and not be personally targeted by my dissatisfaction, Paul suggested that I download the INGO mobile check depositing app and link it to my Chime Account.

    I have been a Chime customer for years and aside from this have always had a positive experience with Chime. Mobile check depositing is a feature I am again in need of and I expect better from Chime. I invite Chime to contact me directly at ** and to resolve this issue or I will have to take my business elsewhere and not do Chime any favors with recommendations or evaluations. At age 52 this was without question, the worst customer service experience in my life.     Use extreme caution if you attempt to use Chime credit builder, especially if you already have good credit!! It is very confusing. I used the debit card only for direct deposits and never used the credit card for any actual credit charges. All the sudden I got a notice from TransUnion that my 790 credit score had suddenly dropped over 100 points in 1 day because Chime reported that I had a delinquent payment of $1250 on this credit builder account. I never had a dime if revolving debt with chime. Chime customer service was NOT helpful at all and could only tell me that the "Auto Pay" feature was not turned on so this huge Virtual payment did not get credited!! They refused to correct anything with the Credit bureau, leaving me no other option than to file a Complaint with Consumer Protection Agency. Along with many other customers.

    I enjoyed Chime for several years until today. Due to local backwoods water company, I need to pay them with a check. I have been using the chime check send feature and never had a problem. Yesterday I get my water bill and it says I owe for last month. Chime says it was cashed. The water company checked all their transactions for that week and it was not received. After spending my time with hard to understand Chime agent, they don’t keep track of the checking they send. They don’t have a copy of it, they can’t provide a transaction number, they can’t tell me where it was cashed or by which bank. I’m not out $49.99 plus another 49.99 that I still owe for last month. Really, really, really disappointed by the and I will be looking for a Chime alternative. Really sucks!

    I have had a Chime account for 7 years. On June 16 I received a call from Chime telling me that an overseas transaction was declined as I had overseas transactions turned off. I got off the phone to look at my account and froze everything and called Chime. I was told that the $2k was declined to Dubai. They said they would send me a new card. Then they processed to telling me it was a good transaction. I didn’t make this, never have I shopped overseas and it was fraud. I gave them a PD report. They have denied my dispute 3 times. They want receipts/invoices, delivery/shipping, confirmation of emails, tracking number, conversation with merchant. I have none of that as I didn’t make the transaction. I don’t know if it’s a merchant, business, company, or person. I am no longer going to bank at Chime. If you went through my account for 7 years you would see that I have never shopped overseas or even spent that much on anything.

    The absolute worst financial institution created! I just received notification that because I no longer have a direct deposit incoming bi-weekly due to losing my job and being unemployed that they are terminating my account. If anyone is in search of an online banking institution stay as far away as possible from Chime. If you already have an account that is funded especially via direct deposit, I strongly encourage you to redirect your direct deposit to another financial institution and remove all of your assets.     I have been a Chime member for several years. I used to recommend it to all of my friends because of the user-friendly app, all the perks, no fees, and the 3.75% APY on the savings account. HOWEVER, my account was recently hacked and someone made a purchase at Walmart.com in Arizona (I live in Indianapolis), and when I disputed the transaction Chime denied my claim.     I opened a Chime account and as part of opening the account, I was eligible for $350 in bonuses if I completed all the requirements. I completed the direct deposit and received the $100 bonus instantly. I have been receiving 10% cash back on my purchases which was a part of the bonus. I have made over 15 purchases totalling well over $500 for which I am supposed to receive a $100 bonus which Chime is refusing to give me. When I called customer service, they have hung up, they have edited my account and removed the screen that showed I was eligible for the bonus and how many days I had left to complete it. I have sent emails, they won't respond.

    I’m confused every month. Am I going to receive my check 5 days early or 3 days early and they say it’s because of the weekends which isn’t true. Also this new MyPay advance sometimes it’s 500 or 300 and they say it’s because the deposit is different or you did something different. Excuses all the time.     I started out very happy with Chime but then a bad thing happened when my phone took a crap. They will no longer let me have access to my account on my new phone which means I can't check my balance like I used to and being a disabled ** veteran on a very strict budget, I need to keep track of my account balances and also since I have no access I cannot authorize the extra money part they promised and was able to use until this happened!!!! Just so everyone knows as soon as my SSDI is given to my new card account, I am cutting up my Chime cards and throwing them away as fast as possible since I am that dissatisfied with them. I know that since this review is so negative, it will probably be hidden and never show up, but if it even helps 1 person will make me happy.

    Chime prevented me from accessing their MyPay feature due to fact a live representative advised me because I haven't received a "qualifying deposit" of $200 or more in the last 36 days. However, I received a deposit from my Long Term Disability Provider in the amount of $2,740.00 on May 27th.. Chime told me because it came from LTD it doesn't qualify. Money is money. So now, because I'm on LTD until I return to work I have no access to MyPay. The IRS absolutely considers it income and applies applicable tax.

    I've had Chime for some time. Lost my credit builder card and noticed some fraudulent activity. Contacted chime, made report, gave all my information, got an email stating my claim was denied. I called chime got the run around twice, and was told they won't reopen the claim. Turns out , Chime isn't showing my running balance so I have no idea what's going and what's going out . I can't budget this way.     So I had an issue with being scammed, called 10 minutes after the incident, reported it, was told for 3 days straight that it was going to be taken care of and fixed and that I would get the credit of the money back.     The card comes fast in the mail and easy to use. Even a virtual card is given. Only reports to credit report companies twice a month. Dumb. When you deposit a check physically, takes A WEEK to get into your account. POOR. When there is a holiday and you are supposed to get it next day, it won't be there before noon.     Chime has to be the worst company that I have dealt with, to date. I have received no usable help from them at all. This morning, I downloaded their app, created an account, and deposited some money into my account. Later, I linked my personal bank account with them and got it verified. When I tried to transfer my money from the Chime account into my bank account, they wouldn't let me have my money. They say that I have to wait several days for their debit card to be delivered to me, and I have to activate it first. I fail to see what a debit card has to do with me making an online transfer. Their customer service people are no help at all. They make you jump through so many hoops just to even get to talk to a person...who you can barely understand, anyway. None of them can seem to figure out how to help me, so my money is just being held hostage. I would NOT recommend doing business with Chime.

    I am looking into changing my bank as they seem to have long waits along with somehow their system that runs the mobile app goes down and they can't give a time frame when it will return to function. As soon as possible I will be leaving Chime. The employees are difficult to understand and don't really seem to care about customers, it's like they read from a script when a problem exists, wish I never got hooked up with chime.     Chime is committing fraud by promoting sign-on bonuses that they do not honor. Spent over three hours on the phone just for them to tell me that although I did complete all of the sign on bonus requirements the sign on bonus cannot be applied because the code is not in their system. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional institution. By the way, Chime is not a bank rather a financial technology company and they are not FDIC rather the banking services are offered by The Bancorp Bank, N.A. or Stride Bank, N.A. which are member of FDIC.     I have had Chime for over a year and have had no issues until this past month and a half. I have had two transactions appear on my account that I did not approve. I tried to dispute those and was told they were pending and I had to wait until they processed. Well they processed and now I'm told that it could take 45-90 days to get my money back. This is ridiculous when it could have been handled the day the transaction showed up on my account. It didn't take 45-90 days to take my money, so why should it take that long to get it back. I do not recommend Chime at all to anyone. I have heard from others that this has happened to them as well.

    I been with Chime since 2000, I haven’t really had problem with them until march when I had a love one pass away. He passed in March. It’s June 19, for months they been giving me the runaround, keep telling me that reissue the check, which made 2 times they had to because they said first one got lost.. No one has made this a top priority to handle my situation, in fact I been dealing with rude representatives, and getting connected to the supervisor didn’t make it no better.     My card got hacked and by the time they send me the alert I had already lost $207.45. I did what I supposed to, I answered No to the question if I was making those transactions, I blocked my card for future transactions and ordered a new card then I open a dispute when the transactions were completed. They took over a week to “complete” the investigation and then decided to denied my dispute without of contacting me to give my information. The email didn’t gave me any information on why they denied and just closed the dispute without any explanation.     I’ve been a loyal Chime customer since 2019. I had my direct deposits, bill payments, and even my state IRS refund set to go into my Chime account. I referred my wife, friends, and coworkers, and I received multiple referral rewards because I genuinely believed in the service. One day, without any prior notice, I woke up to find my account had been closed. There were no emails, texts, or alerts beforehand. When I called customer service, I was told that “Rule 9” was the reason—and that legally, they could not tell me anything further. I was shocked. No explanation, no warning, and absolutely no accountability. This experience was not just financially disruptive, but emotionally devastating. I had bills pending, a tax refund on the way, and no way to access my funds.

    Chime treated me like a number, not a person. For a company that markets itself as modern and customer-friendly, this was anything but. If you’re considering banking with Chime, please be aware that they reserve the right to close your account at any time with no notice and no reason.     I've been with Chime 8 yrs. I introduced chime to family and friends. Within the next 2 days we will all be leaving chime. My husband had 220 dollars come up missing out of his account to cashapp. While we were sleeping. We disputed and sent them proof he DID NOT AUTHORIZE IT BECAUSE IT DIDNT SHOW UP IN CASHAPP.     I am very disappointed by the customer service I received. The bank charged me for a transaction twice and when I called it took me over 3 hours to get a live representative. They have a machine who is programmed to not forward calls to a live person. I was robbed of 199 dollars, they refused to give me s receipt and add the transaction in my statement. I have no proof of the charge they told me they were not able to show me the transaction and blamed Target for double charging me.

    My experience with Target has always been taken care and they fixed problems if they make a mistake. They stole my money and I have no proof I only see the negative but no explanation. I am very disappointed and will advise people not to work with Chime. They are a fraud. The most horrible experience I will get a lawyer. Don’t do business with them. They stole $199 dollars from my account. I asked for a receipt and they refused to give me one. Even though the did the math and came up with left over money they still took my money and hung up on me when I asked for a receipt. Worse experience ever don’t use this bank.

    Updated on 6/26/2025: First, it takes forever to talk to a real person. And then when you do, you can't understand them because they don't speak English. Once you get your point across, they will tell you a lie and a heartbeat. They will tell you we can get you your card in 10 to 7 days. 15-20 days later, you still don't have your card. The time representative will sympathize with you, but then they will go ahead and tell you there is nothing I can do. I put in the order for your card 37 days ago. You should have it by now. If you don't have it we can put in for another card. And round and round you go.

    Original review: For some reason, my Chime card got canceled. I went on the Chime site and tried to get it fixed. Couldn't do it. So I called time, and after about 37 minutes of waiting actually got a customer service representative. Turns out they couldn't help me very much. What they could do is send me a new card. They say it takes 7 to 10 days, but previous experience say it's more like 15 to 20 days. The customer service representative couldn't speak English. I couldn't understand her. But that's Chime. It's always that way.

    Chime virtual card that is suppose to be useable on a phone with a virtual wallet is the worst piece of garbage I have ever seen. The virtual cards don't have PIN numbers and require users to tell merchants to run transactions as credit, because they are obviously to lazy to make their offered virtual cards run that way by design. Customer services are not helpful and after having tried to talk to two people I feel like I was stupid to even trying. Plus my bank is not supported but I can link my debit card for my bank to move money into my chime account but not the other way. I was scammed by the seller and because the money was deposited into her account, I could not dispute it!!! Because the seller received the money this is NOT ALLOWED FOR DISPUTES!!! What business does not guarantee their services??? GOOD LUCK CONTACTING CHIME TO HELP WITH DISPUTES. The customer service agents can't speak English clearly--it is pretty difficult to understand them or they you. And trying to get through to a human well good luck.     If I could give Chime a lower review I would. I have $2000 in the account for a product I ordered from a linked bank account. I have been told without a physical card I cannot move the money back to my bank account and I am getting no assistance. The initial money lost in fraud is not backed. I give them 0/10!!!

    4 times within a 2 month span they canceled my cards and sent new ones because my information had been breached. 1 card was canceled before I even received it in the mail. Then an agent from Chime called me to tell me my account was breached and the exact total in my account was going to be stolen and definitely don't withdrawal it at the atm. He even gave me a name of who was gonna steal it. When I went to draw it out the guy on the phone panicked and told me to leave it alone. They would fix it and have it back to me within 60 days. None of what he said made sense. I changed banks the same day.

    I'm not really too fond of the "up to $500 of your pay" option. What they don't tell is whatever you are approved for the loan amount, is not given to you all at once. It is broken down by daily increments. You cannot withdraw less than $20 but sometimes the daily increments won't add up to that for 3 days and I need the money now!! The money should be given in $20 increments!! If someone needs the feature 9 times out of 10 they want to utilize it NOW, not days later!!!

    If I could give this company 0 stars I would. The way this company does business is horrible. I tried to deposit a check into my Chime account 4 times and it didn't even tell me why I couldn't. I tried to get help and it wasn't easy finding their customer service number because they want you to look on the help page first to see if you can just read a help article to solve your problem with their app. Then when I finally found their customer service number, I had to talk to a AI bot for 5 or 6 minutes before I can even get to talk to a human. The person is foreign and barely spoke english and tells me that they won't accept my check in the app, because I have to transfer at least $1 from an external bank account, which is going to take 7 days. Then when I'm finally able to deposit my check, I have to wait another 6 days for it to post to my account. So I have to wait 2 weeks just to get access to my money.

    The customer service rep didn't even solve my problem or even offer an accommodation for the inconvenience. Also there were no disclaimers before hand about having to fulfill the requirements of depositing $1 first or having to write on the back of the check "for mobile deposit to chime account only". So I didn't even have a chance to change my mind about using their bank and deciding to go with my other bank. So I was stuck having to wait 2 weeks to deposit my money in my chime account because the check can't be deposited into another bank since they made me write on the back "for mobile deposit in chime account". This wouldn't have happened if I would've used my capital one bank or another banking app, so now I regret trying to use chime and after my check deposits and I have access to my money, I will be closing my account with Chime and never using their services again. They lost me as a customer.

    All I see are the o how I love Chime reviews, so I am sure mine will not ever be posted, I have had to make written complaints to my state's banking oversight, the feds, the nc attorney general's office also, BBB, which is another waste of time, this chime bank company is nothing more than a rip off, they have allowed institutions to continue to take funds out of my account even after they the bank replaced the cards issued by chime to stop the thieves from doing this, the funds continued to come out of my account, it wasn't until I made complaints to authorities that chime stopped the funds from exiting my account then resent out my cards which took 2 weeks.

    2 weeks no money because of their idiots they employ, these people barely can speak English let alone understand what you tell them again in simple English, which they don't speak in nor understand, they talk right over you because they don't understand what it is you're saying to them.... It's appalling, the customer service person who cannot speak English. It's no wonder why they can't do anything. They spend their time authorizing them to speak to you or one's representative. They are in Korea or other countries because they are paid cents an hour instead of dollars like they would be if they were workers here in the USA...

    This is another problem they have caused by not having competent people working for them in the 1st place.. Terrible rotten people to deal with, and when it's your money and you can't get to it because they don't know what to do is criminal.... and they should not be allowed to do business in the USA. Complex banking that requires one to be interactive with their bank. This bank is not for you, run away from it, they have tied up over 16 grand on me for over a month.... When I finally get my funds out I will never speak the word chime again and I suggest neither should you, beware of this bank, liars, cheats, total bull crap artists, and they don't care.     In 2019, Chime deactivated my card without any warning, notification, or explanation. I only discovered the issue when I attempted to use my card and found it no longer worked. I was never informed in advance, and no clear reason was given. Because of this, I had no choice but to close my account out of frustration and concern over the security of my funds. At the time of closure, there was still money in my Chime account, but I was never refunded that balance.

    I made multiple attempts to contact Chime support to retrieve my funds, but I received no resolution. I was locked out of the account entirely and could not access any statements or request a refund. I trusted Chime to manage my money responsibly, and I feel their lack of transparency and refusal to return my funds is both unfair and unethical. I am requesting the return of the remaining balance that was in my account when I closed it due to their poor communication and handling.

    I place a dispute on April 4 2025. When I started it it states 10 to 20 business days. It also states I would receive an email on April 7th 2025. The days have passed and gone. I called Chime and talk to a supervisor stating that 1 they didn't send me out an email. And also I have to wait another 2 months for my refund. The supervisor basically said it WAS MY FAULT for using their card. And since it's my first dispute I have to wait. This is absurd.

    I had no issues with Chime as one of my bank accounts for years. Recently, they decided to cancel my debit card unbeknownst to me. My card did not expire yet (it would in a month). I initially called in to let them know customer support because I received an email saying I should received my new card by now. I expressed I had not (still unaware my current card was cancelled) and wanted to confirm my mailing address and sending a new card. I was then notified that my current card was already cancelled. I asked why this happened since I did mot request or authorize this especially since I did not have a new replacement card yet. The representative I spoke with did not have an answer.

    I escalated to a manager or “higher up” and was told “you requested this through the app.” I let them know this was incorrect and the “higher up” proceeded to argue with me. This is unacceptable and I have since moved my funds elsewhere. Very poor customer service experience and I can not recommend others to this platform. You shouldn’t take canceling cards lightly as funds are used for numerous auto payments. On a side note, I waited another 7 days and still did not receive my replacement card. I was told this was the timeframe and confirmed my address.

    This is a terrible bank. I have had Chime for three years. They take your my pay back and then lower it so they are stealing money from customers. They then tell you it is computer generated and they have no control over the system. It takes them days to give you back the my pay but they take it out instantly when they get it from your paycheck. They are even taking your boost. I got three and they took them all and lowered my courtesy pay. I am leaving this bank. They will not steal another dime from me. Only good thing is they pay you two days early. You can find any bank in 2025 to do this.

    I have used the Chime banking app for 2 months now. I pay my rent with a echeck but chime will not accept a echeck request because it is an ACH transaction. Chime does not do ACH request ls. No money can be transferred out of chime, using an ACH transaction. Cannot easily transfer money to someone else's bank account. Such as Wells Fargo. Lots of people use Cash app, but cannot transfer money to cash app easily. And forget about that bonus payment if you send somebody a link to sign up. There's all kinds of rules behind that. Forget about it. Chime does pay my Social Security payment early but all banks do that. Overall just probably not worth the effort.

    Chime let someone (not me) open an account and Credit Card in my name. I was scammed. Someone opened a Chime account in my name and transferred money out of my Apple account into the fraud Chime account. I disputed the opened Chime account and chime responded that I transferred money to friends and there would be no refund. Then Chime sent a denial of a Credit Card saying there wasn’t enough information for the Credit Card they issued. Wow. Just wow.

    Chime does not deliver on their promises. This is coming from a Chime member since 2017. I am a Chime plus member and I have been receiving nothing but bad service. My paychecks are never deposited on time. Only a day early. MyPay rips me off by taking my entire check and then lowering my MyPay balance in the middle of a pay week leaving me completely broke until next pay period. No Chime service member will help you. They will only tell you that everything is computer-generated and they won't be able to help with any type of problem you may have. They can't tell you where your money is or expedite any type of transaction whatsoever. If you can settle with another bank that claims to pay 2 days early, just go with another bank. Chime will do nothing but cause anger and frustration and there's nothing you can do about it.

    I have been with Chime since 2021, 4 years and haven't had any issues with them until now. I deposited a check on April 27, 2025 and it said the funds wouldn't be released until today, Friday, May 2, 2025 and I've contacted customer service Representative and supervisors and now I'm being told I won't get my funds released until 7 pm PST, Chime time zone instead of MST, my time zone. Tomorrow will be 7 days total days Chime has held my deposit. Chime Representatives don't offer any solution other than wait until the last minute to get my funds released. Believe me, there won't be a next time! Be aware.

    Chime does not care about its customers. On April 24, 2025 someone texted my phone pretending to be Chime fraud department letting me know that someone is trying to access my account and that they stopped the charge and asked me was it me. I said no and they asked to give me a call to make sure that it was me they were talking to. These scammers called my phone and pretended to be a live agent from chime and they were there to help me in securing my account. Just to put it out there this is not the first time I’ve gotten one of these calls. These scammers got me fired my entire check and gave access to my account. When they take all my money I call chime to make sure if it was them and it was not. And instead of them having any concern that someone is pretending to be them they just do a dispute and tell me I have to wait. Well I waited just for them to deny my dispute with no real reason. So now I’m continuing to fight for my money back.

    A REAL BANK would never treat their customers so poorly. And whoever is doing the investigations does not put any type of effort into finding out the problem. CHIME DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS!!!! DO NOT BANK WITH CHIME. Yes they are more convenient than a real bank but they are lying when they say they are secure because THEY ARE NOT SECURE AT ALL!!!! And they do NOT thrive to be there for their customers. I sent proof to Chime that the company issued the refund. They still declined my dispute. I am not happy with chime. I am a member because I have Letters of Administration for my dead dad's estate. So, his account is now my account by the power of the courts of CALIFORNIA! So NOBODY Die with an account at Chime because your heirs won't get a DIME!     I accidentally signed up for Chime three years ago and absolutely never used it. Now that I’m with time and I have my direct deposit set up. I don’t qualify for the referral plan. I don’t mind but they didn’t let me know before I signed up for my direct deposit. I feel like it’s false advertisement. I’m quite sure I’m not the only one who done this. Of course everything computerized these days and nothing nobody can do. What they should do is let a person know if they qualify for the referral plan before you sign up as a common courtesy.     They're an unethical bank practices unethical banking practices. I've filed a complaint with the FDIC for unethical practices. If you use the Pay Anyone feature and the recipient is unable to collect the funds (under age 18 in my case), they will deduct the money from your account, refuse to refund it, and the other party never gets their money.     If I could give them 0 stars I would. I was with them for years and had no problems at all. But in the last 2 months they have been horrible. There is a feature called MyPay which is basically a small cash advance. Part of the amount you get is determined by certain factors, one of which is linking your payroll provider. For months, this feature worked fine. Then all of a sudden chime drops the connection. I talk to Chime, several times, and each person I talk to tells me something different. One person even told me inaccurate information, and I know it’s an accurate because I read the terms and services. They said they would escalate and try and get the issue resolved, and I never heard back from them.

    Most recently I have been experiencing an issue where chime will not let me transfer money from a different bank account into my Chime account. Again, talk to multiple people each person giving me a different answer. Multiple times they told me that it was with my external bank. I called my external bank, they said they approved the transfer and chime was the one that rejected it. I told this to chime, chime said they would escalate it. The response I got was instructions on how to link my debit card to my chime account, which was the issue that I was facing. It wasn’t that I didn’t know how to link my card, the issue is that it was not allowing me to transfer with that linked card.

    I called them back to let them know that their specialist did not read the ticket properly, and the supervisor I was speaking to chose to tell me that I was wrong, even though the previous supervisor agreed that the issue was on their end. They have some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Their people do not know what they’re talking about. Their specialist obviously do not read tickets. I would not recommend them to anybody.

    Customer service never speaks English. They don’t understand what you’re talking about. They get mad when you want a supervisor when you’re right about things cause it’s your money. I disabled my credit card April 10 and I got an email saying I will get my new card April 20 which is Sunday and Mail doesn’t run on Sunday. I got another email saying I might get it on the 24th business 7 to 10 business days. Isn’t that going against their own policy.

    Now they don’t know what to do now I might get my card today which is Friday and now if I don’t get my card they want me to call them to resolve this issue but how are they going to do that 😂 if I didn’t receive my card for two weeks but I suppose to get my card 7 to 10 business days and to be honest they don’t deserve a star. If you call them they always seem mad. When you provide them with everything they need to assist you with and I don’t like that at all really feel offended by the way customer service tries to help and then they always say thanks for banking with Chime 🤨😒

They took MyPay away from me because even after 5 people one being a supervisor they could not understand that my payroll provider switched even though they seen two direct deposits from them. Also the supervisor hung up on me because she was tired of dealing with me. I was being super polite but I guess she had enough. Also it seems like their responses on the phone are automated like they are just reading something because each person said the same thing every time I called. They won't actually listen to you and won't think outside the box. Supervisors have no more pull in helping you any more than the regular customer service people so don't waste your time.

    I tried to send money to a friend through PayPal/Xoom but the payment was returned. The initial payment was 68.99. The refund amount was 63.99.     I called to update my phone number as I'd already was a client and it took me 42 minutes. I verified everything with the first person everything with the second person after opening the app with my thumb and still had to send a copy a picture of my ID the front and the back and a selfie. So then I asked to talk to a supervisor cause how ridiculous and I had to verify everything with the supervisor before she could even talk to me. It was it was stupid. It was outrageously stupid. I was going to apply for their Visa card and now I just don't think I'm going to I mean what a joke 42 minutes is what it ended up being to update my phone number. Who has that kind of time. Why would anybody need to verify three different times all their information for anything.     Hi, I am disabled and I got referred to Chime by a friend and chime doesn't honor there referral Bonus. I would strongly recommend not using chime I called and spoke with someone about Bonus last month. The supervisor I spoke to in February said, "Don't worry we will give you Bonus." I called today and spoke to Sam supervisor and explained what I talked to supervisor and today Sam said they won't give Bonus. I said that account should be noted so then Sam said he would investigate the issue, put me on hold for 10mins, came back and said can't give Bonus. I said why account is noted. I asked Sam what was investigated. He said nothing because he can't read other call, no access, so how or what was investigated, nothing except he sees that I called but doesn't have access. I said call I recorded, can he pull call, can't do that either.

    All this over a 100 referral. They don't honor what they say. Now I have to close account and the lady who referred me is closing her account all over the supervisor lying and not looking into this. I am disabled and I did everything the person in February said and now they have on website that they work with ssi but they lie and don't help at all. If I could afford 100 $ to give people not to use chime banking I would. Please help and do not use chime. I am only 1 person but hopefully you read this and do not use them. This would help me get my dignity and show chime the little people have a voice. Thank you in advance. Is you close your chime account they are scammers. Even on your website it says "we can't control when these deposits arrive" referring to Social Security so it's all a scam preying on the disabled

    I received a deposit to my Chime account, I then selected to transfer from my chime to my bank account. Instead of a deposit Chime deducted money from my bank account. I disputed transaction with my bank then chime closed my account with the funds still in chime account. They said they will send me my money via check. I called and spoke to 3 people, explained the situation, nobody could help. I WILL NEVER REFER ANYBODY TO THEM!!!

    Chime sucks. I submitted my tax return through Chime and the federal return was rejected due to incorrect direct deposit information. I tried to fix it through Chime and the website says internal error and to contact support. I contacted their support three times and at first they told me to call the IRS, so I did. They couldn't locate the return, so I called back Chime and then they told me to contact you. All I need to do is update my routing number for my direct deposit and it has taken me hours of going back and forth with no help. Their team is hard to understand and it is near impossible to even get a real person on the phone in the first place. I asked multiple times to speak to a supervisor and they kept making excuses and finally when they said they would get one, I was put on hold and then was hung up on. Actually ridiculous and all over something that is a simple error. I should have just paid the money to file through Turbo Tax.

    I had an order that canceled from Hibbett sports back on March 26. When I spoke with Hibbett couple days later they explain that the authorization hold would be processed back to my account within 3 to 7 business check with my back. I waited a little longer to call and when I spoke with the 1st representative they said they did not see anything contact Hibbett. Contacted Hibbett. They gave me the code 055315. Said was released on the 31 of March. I reached out to Chime. The rep told me that they then saw a hold that was pending and should fall off within 3 to 5 business and should be seen in the account. Here it is the 14th of April and no funds in my account.

    Reached out again to chime and was told that they do not see anything from Hibbett once again. Now I'm upset and wants to speak with supervisor but had to disconnect because work call came in. Reached out again. Got a different rep and he first told me the same thing as was told before which was the pending charging from April 3rd and give it 5 to 7 business days. Right before he was about to get me off the line I told him I was already told that and it's been 7 days. Still do not see my 133.75. He placed me on hold. Came back saying it was processed into my account and should have seen it around the time my account left out of negative.

    I then became upset because said wasn't in there now saying it is from a day I added funds from another account because had a bill due transferred money from my PayPal account. Told him since wanna give me the run around about my money. I will be doing a complaint because I have been waiting on my funds. No one at chime can explain to me where my money. Instead wanna rush me off like I'm dumb or do not know any better.

    I had to pay a 1,600$ deposit to my new apartment which I was in a rush to move in, the customer service gave me info how to do that since the limit is 1,000 daily to upload, I was told to add a 1,000$ on my debit card then add the 500$ and then the 100$ onto my credit builder card and I found a 24/7 711 store at the airport in Portland Oregon and was able to PAY MY SECURITY DEPOSIT THAT NIGHT.     I opened account in 2023. It seemed great in the beginning. Well I've just had my first and Last dispute with them. My friend has Cash App, I tried sending her 12 dollars. I did something wrong and she never received it. I contacted Chime right away and was told that my friend has a Chime account and it was delivered to her?.. I kept saying No she doesn't have an account there. But the rep refused to listen or help me. And said there was nothing they could do it was delivered to right person. I asked to speak with Supervisor and was told that They would tell me the same thing as she did. I said there must be someone with the same name can you check?, She said no it's her, who you sent it too. I hung up and filed a dispute the next morning. I just received their response and I was denied!! I can't believe it, they are rude, impolite, and dishonest

    They are Thieves!!! Don't do business with them. They won't have your back if things go wrong and won't give you back, What is rightfully yours. Customers like myself aged, disabled and on a fixed income will be Wronged by them and taken advantage of. They don't care about you. Their reps are cold, and just unhelpful the company is crooked.     I have had Chime for over a year. It was fine and then I found out I had a hacker in my phone and I wondered what happened to some of my social security checks. But of course Chime Blamed me, so they wouldn't give me back any money. I just now had it happen again so I will be closing my account

    I be been a customer with Chime for a few years and in those years I still haven’t received a debit card, in years. There’s no excuse for this service and I’m still waiting. I wouldn’t even rate this company/service, it’s that bad along with their customer support.     Chime's security procedures have severely impacted my ability to access my funds. After breaking my phone and losing my wallet (including my ID), I was locked out of my account as the app requires phone number verification. I was informed that I needed a valid ID to regain access. Upon receiving a temporary replacement driver's license, I contacted Chime, verified my identity, and explained that the permanent ID would take 2-3 weeks to arrive. Despite this, Chime has refused to grant me access to my account.

    This lack of access has resulted in significant financial distress. My rent is now overdue, and I lack funds for essential needs as my paycheck is directly deposited into my Chime account. Furthermore, I received conflicting information from Chime representatives. Initially, I was told that a picture of my temporary ID would suffice for access. However, after providing the picture, I was informed this was incorrect, and I was given an apology for the misinformation from a supervisor. I was then told I could verify my identity over the phone and receive information about my account, but I would still be unable to conduct transactions, transfer funds, or pay bills due to the inability to access the app.

    Adding to these issues, approximately three weeks ago, I reported an unauthorized transaction while I was out of state. Despite giving Chime the information that I was out of state, and without any further verification, they still sent replacement cards to the out-of-state address I provided them. Alarmingly, they did not request any ID verification when sending these new cards to this address, directly contradicting the strict security measures they are now using to deny me access to my own funds. This inconsistency in their security measures demonstrates a clear lack of reliable and logical protocols. Chime's rigid policies, inconsistent communication, and apparent disregard for the urgent financial situations of their customers are unacceptable. I strongly advise caution when considering Chime for banking services due to their seemingly arbitrary and flawed security practices.

    I have banked with Chime for about 7 years. I never really had any issues that could not be fixed until yesterday. On yesterday I made deposit of 300 on my card to shop with. The load posted to my account then chime withdrew it. My chime app relex the adjustment yet chime still denied it. I have my receipts from Walgreens confirming the payment posted successfully. So basically chime is pointing the finger at Walgreens and vice verse. Chime is not a traditional bank so you can’t walk into a branch to speak with someone. So if both parties are denying that it’s not their fault. Who do we go to? I am out of 300 dollars and no one can give me an explanation. These companies are allowed to take our money with no consequences. I will not be doing business with chime ever again.

    Opening a Chime account has been the worst decision I have ever made. I received Social Security Disability with my payment date on the 3rd of each month. I have spoken with Social Security and have the tracking number for the deposit, but Chime has not credited this deposit and has given me conflicting information each 4 times I have called them about this. The lastest they are telling me it has to go through their process and cannot tell me when it will be credited to my account.

    Mind you I am to receive this payment on the 3rd of each month and have never had a problem until today, and trying to work with Chime and get a valid reason why they are keeping my money had been a nightmare. The fact that I am on disability means I'm on a limited income and due to Chime's refusal to credit my account the money they have received has me having late fee charges on bill payments, inability to pay my rent or buy groceries. This is beyond unacceptable practices by Chime. I will be ending my relationship with Chime May 1st, and filing complaints and conferring with an attorney regarding their practices and the problems they have cost me. I'm happy I recorded the conversations I had with Chime so that I can prove the contraindications in what they told me. I highly recommend not banking with Chime as they are dishonest in all aspects and out of the blue you may find yourself dealing with the same or similar problems

    I'm starting not to like Chime. I got a refund from T-MOBILE and they already initiated the refund and sent it to chime Bank but Chime wants me to wait a extra 15 days before it goes into my account which chime already has the money. It's getting too difficult to use chime. They use AI. The regular Banks don't use AI. They use live human people. I just don't want to further do business with someone that uses AI that means that they're ignoring you and do not care about you because AI repeats the same thing over and over and over, none of your problems get resolved, none of them

    So I get the Chime card because my husband said it's a awesome card right and it was until I decided to open credit building card feature, well when I got paid all my direct posit went strait to the credit builder, I thought that we can choose how much we put in it. Nope. They take your whole paycheck, so I would definitely not get a chime card. Nothing but a headache!

    Don't bother with Chime. I've been a loyal customer for a long time. Always paid. Direct deposit faithfully. Just today I had a terrible experience with them. I unfortunately was trying to pay my rent by sending it to my better half and accidentally sent 700$ to someone in my contacts, that I haven't talked to in years and I called chime crying because my rent money went to the wrong person. They basically told me there was nothing they could do!!!! So I basically lost my full amount. Tried reaching out thru to the person who I sent the money to through chime. DO you think they responded or even gave me half back??? No. I received nothing back. Don't waste your time. Go with a real bank that cares!!!

    You will have multiple fraudulent charges listed on your account throughout the day. Your account will be depleted of funds. If you needed money for bills or food you will be without that day. They issue you a new card, why so I can be robbed again only under another account. No thanks. I will not recommend them to anyone. The multiple fraudulent charges on my card listed Google only.

    Chime unsecured destroyed my credit. I added a direct deposit to it of about $400 a month which was just a small portion of my overall pay. Experian looked at that $400 as if it was my entire pay because Chime could not link to my main checking account at my credit union. Out of that $400, I set up about $100 in automatic payments from Chime and transferred the rest to my credit union checking account. Chime and Experian used that to pretend that my entire income was going to debtors (i.e., this guy has $400 coming and going each month to bills).

    In addition, the three or four automatic payments I added to Chime provided one 30-point boost which was gone the very next month because the age of those accounts was now considered too new. Therefore my total boost by the second month was zero. Obviously Chime and Experian have arranged this scam to coerce you into adding your entire direct deposit and all your bills to them. Meanwhile, there are many much better banks and credit unions available. I advise you to skip Chime and Experian.

    Chime Credit Builder was the worst thing I ever did to help build my Credit. It's not all it seems so be aware. They abruptly, and without warning canceled my Chime account without warning for what I can only guess was my direct deposits not coming in anymore due to me having to leave my job for dv reasons. A little education and customer service would have been nice as I was with them for years but instead, I got a letter saying my account was closed for reasons they don't have to disclose. Very disappointing and they are now negatively impacting my credit for years to come. Far better banks and ways to build credit than Chime. I still don't know exactly where I went wrong nor do I care which I think is ridiculous from a bank who acts like they care about customers. I've had no problems getting a different bank account and would never use Chime again, even if they let me.

    I have Fraud activities on my account every month. They seem to take cash out of account every month on a close account card and they tell you have to wait 10 days before you get your money back. They have nerves to tell you to get new card. The crazy part of it when they send a new card out you Chime still takes your money out from your old card when the old card has been deactivated. Some going on with that company.

    I gave 3 stars but it should be 5, it could easily be 5 stars, I've been with Chime 6 years or so, I never had a single problem, but I have a problem for about 3 years now, I would deposit checks with zero problems, one time I tried to deposit a check and it didn't go through, I called customer service for help and they told me to send it through again, I did and they shut the whole option down on me, I called customer service and they said they could not help me, they told me that they have the right to deny the option for any and no reason if they want, I asked how do they come to the conclusion of who gets the options shut down, do they pick names at random? Pick them out of a hat? It just seems ridiculous to do this to someone, especially when they have been a great customer with zero issues, this option has been shut down on me for 3 + years now, other than this issue, Chime is the best banking I have experienced.

    Chime advertises that they give you up to $500 on my pay and up the $200 on their spot me but they don’t. I have had Chime for five months regular deposit of $2000 a month and only have $20 a spot me and $100 on my pay. I disputed charges that was fraud, have evi6of it investigating, said they was looking into it but never did when I have the dam police report. So I'm thinking on suing you pathetic people.     I used CHIME one time and my experience was horrific and I'm not one to complain. I can 100% honestly say I was ripped off for $200 and have filed multiple disputes. CHIME claims that if you don't transfer any remaining balance from your CHIME app--anywhere---from your account when you close it, they'll send you a physical check in 30 days.---baloney! After waiting 45 days I filed a dispute with my bank--one the dispute reached CHIME--they claim I spent the money. DO NOT TRUST them.--very shady.

    I have tried to reop my Chime account and keep getting denied. I don't have the same debit or credit card to verify my account so I am not able to use Chime. I have tried several times to resolve the matter and the feedback is they don't care enough to help or care. I have sent in all of my identification and nothing.     The worst bank to use. It's like communicating with robots that repeat what a computer tells them to say instead of actually answering questions to the issue you called about. I also truly believe their taking money. If you look in your mobile account you can't get a actually full statement from day to day by times of purchase or anything. They also charge you to take your money you worked for in advance and they don't show that on statement either. These people are up to no good seriously and I'm very honest. I won't lie to make it look good and it's really not.

    Chime opened a fraudulent account in my name without verification through any means. My credit is frozen on all three credit bureaus, which should have kept them from extending any credit cards associated with my information. Apparently they don't check any of them nor do they require ID to open their accounts.

    What started as a good experience with Chime quickly turned into a nightmare. I spoke with five different representatives, and not only did none of them have answers, but they also lied multiple times. When I pressed for clarity, they disconnected the call—without any profanity or hostility on my part—simply because they didn’t know what to say. Their communication was terrible; I could barely understand them, yet I clearly heard them chuckling in the background. The rudeness was beyond unprofessional. If you value decent customer service, stay far away from Chime. Trying to get a simple issue resolved feels like pulling teeth, and half the time, they either give conflicting information or just ignore your concerns altogether. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy is shocking for a financial institution. If you’re looking for a bank that actually values its customers, look elsewhere.

    I have enjoyed Chime the past few months but now I am really regretting it. I decided to do the credit builder card. Woke up to 60 points off my credit score and it's saying I have a balance I don't. I have been on the phone with 3 different people who all verified my account has always been in good standing they don't understand why. I get transferred to 2 different supervisors the first one all of a sudden couldn't hear me and just hung up lol then the second has had me on hold now for over 35 mins. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!! So I wouldn't recommend using the credit builder at all.... And their customer service from their supervisors is absolutely trash. So I'm just stuck with a lower credit score for nothing. And people who care less. Can't even come to the phone, because you messed up.

    They will not help fight your disputes. I was scammed by postal openings, a site that sells itself as a necessity in order to get placed with the usps. They scammed me out $69 and have no way to communicate. Chime would do nothing for me. My other bank, navy federal, helped me a few times with bad purchases. This time I was literally scammed and chime would do nothing. Very disappointed...
