I want to 1st off Thank Jack and Mario for the making my refi go as smooth and as quick as possible!!! They requested and submitted my info as soon as I sent it to them, which makes the other companies look really sad....haha! I tried with Quicken before coming over to them and a huge difference! If you are considering Network Capital and are self-employed...quit researching, they will get it done for you!

After hearing a number of Network Capital info-mercials on a local SF radio station, I decided to respond with a call. I spoke briefly with reception, who screened my call quickly, and transferred me to Jordan **. He was cheerful, informative and thorough. Within a few minutes, I was entering the application process. It seemed straight-forward, and the list of required docoments from me did not seem too difficult to provide. Even though my wife is self-employed, there seemed to be a path forward to get through the process in reasonable time. We funded just as Jordan estimated, and are very happy to be in what feels like financial freedom!

My refi with Ariel ** went so smoothly on my end. I heard from a colleague of Ariel’s that it wasn’t as smooth for him as he had to really defend my situation and get them to make some exceptions to help me out. I am so grateful that he listened and helped me so much. I can now stay in my house for at least a few more years before facing some kind of Senior situation. I may never have to leave at all. Thank you so much to Network Capital!

I had been listening to KSFO on Sundays at work and kept hearing about Network Capital Funding and all the good reviews and quick closings so I thought I would test it out. I am a Realtor so I'm very familiar with the mortgage loan process for my clients as well as myself having refinanced a few times. I called on a Sunday and spoke with Victor ** and told him what I was hoping to achieve and he told me to send my pay stub and tax return and on Monday. He sent me several different refi options and within 10 days we completed the refi. without an appraisal because I had a fairly recent one done already.
Victor ** whom I called Manny because he said that is what his friends call him and he truly felt like a friend. He was professional, knowledgeable, and quick to research and find just the right loan for me. Even with my credit not the best he was able to get me a great rate, no closing costs and I even received money back? I am amazed at how easy and quick this closed and I will definitely be referring my clients, family and friends in the future! Thank you Manny. You're a gem!

Roxanne and I have been attempting to get a refi for over two years. Problem has been we are real estate rich and revenue generation poor. Home is a custom, which stands out like a sore thumb for comps. If you took 20 cul de sacs in Torrance we would be one of the top 5 properties out of 400-500, because the builder spared nothing, created a jewel for his family, then the building industry went South. So we lucked out.
Jack ** (**) made it all work! He was calm when we were not. His very professional and persistent approach to the challenges on his end, plus his therapeutic efforts on our behalf were amazing. Once it looked like we had a real chance, Roxanne had to provide lots of nitty gritty details. The bank statements were particularly vexing, because my cut and paste effort was rejected, then a redo of those statements was rejected (because they needed even the useless empty last pages from each month.... which is where I lost it). Gentle Jack calmly explained what the underwriters needed, for which there was no option. That worked for me.
Bottom line is that our first new payment is due in a few days. Jack got lots of credit card debt eliminated. Removed Roxanne's wage garnishment by the FTB. Removed the damn FTB property lien. And provided a new nest egg via wire transfer for what amounts of a new and important chapter in our lives. My goal was to live in our current home for 20 years, then have two motorized gurneys schlepp both of us over to assisted living. Jack will be there when that happens with some cold champagne.
Roxanne and I are very grateful and humbled by what Jack pulled off... calmly and with the touch of a gentle giant. As a radiologist 76 y.o. I still must work full time, seven days a week, on the internet from home. Roxanne is Administrative Assistant for the Beverly Hills Cancer Center, and she too much work full time so that our combined revenue remains stable. We are both in good health, but that will change as various things wear out. It's a whole new beginning for us.

They are a nuisance; they will keep on calling you even after telling them you are not interested. They keep on changing their representatives; you will work with different people and have to start the process all over again. They will walk away with your appraisal fee and you will never get a refund.

They help you along the whole entire way. I worked with two people and they were great. I would refer anybody to them. When you have a question and you call them, if they don’t answer, you would receive your phone call right back. Kevin, the sales guy at Network Capital Funding, did a good job. A lot of these sales guys are silver-tongued devils. But when they see an issue that’s hard, they give up. I was dealing with another silver-tongued devil with another company and he bailed out on me. But Kevin did not. When he saw a hard issue, he told me not to worry about it. He said he could make it work. He also always had questions for me. He shot me the questions and I shot him the answers. He had tenacity and he stayed with it.
The process also went easily considering I had a very rough situation, with me being a business owner. Business owners get screwed because, with the way the whole tax structure is set up, they never make what they make on these tax returns. But Network Capital Funding was able to work around it. As I expected, I had to fill out a million papers. But we did what we had to do and within a week or two, we had our answer. It was quick. I had a couple of car loans and then this and that, and we reconsolidated. We threw everything in one lump and the rate I got was also a lot better than what I had. That was why I went with it and I'm happy.
The rates I had previously were not locked in because I had a subprime loan. I had that loan for close to 15 years. But three years ago, I was only paying 2% so I wasn’t unhappy with my ARM. Then all of a sudden, my rates got jacked up six times in one year. I had to bail out of it. I went to traditional lenders, like regular mortgage companies, but they all turned me down. So Network Capital said yes when everyone else said no. In fact, there is absolutely no way any bank would give me this loan. I would recommend Network Capital Funding to a friend.

Our original loan was an FHA loan thus requiring Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI). While called insurance this is not insurance for the benefit of the borrower, it only benefits the bank and then only if you die. We also had a second lien on our property due to an energy upgrade loan (high efficiency furnace, water heater, insulation, etc.). Our goal was to eliminate the PMI, pay off the second lien and consolidate some other bills. Working with John and Kelly was absolutely delightful. They communicated well, were very clear in what they needed, explained every question we had very well and really supported us through the entire process. Most importantly, they did not lose track of OUR goals but worked diligently to make sure our needs were met. The entire process was swift and mostly painless.
On a previous refinance attempt with a different lender, our appraisal came in lower then we had expected. Regardless, the finance company insisted they could still give us a good deal, all we had to do was pay an additional $10,000: we need to lower our debt load, not increase it. I finally had to send a written letter to put me on their "do not call" list before they would stop pestering me.
Obviously, I checked with John at the start and said this is not acceptable and I would not stand for any such treatment again. I was assured that he would not do anything like this; if we ran into problems he would help find a solution and, if he was not able to meet our needs, he would tell us so and walk away. Fortunately, this was not the case. My only disappointment was that the price of the appraisal was considerably higher than was quoted by other potential lenders. Still, a small price to pay for excellent communications, swift and competent service and a friendly and supportive relationship.

My wife and I needed to refinance our home due to our retirement being wiped out by the recession and needing to combine some credit card debt we had run up while I looked for work - a process that took over 3 years. After reading reviews here, I contacted Network Capital. I suppose the first red flag should have been the fact I got a call like 60 seconds after I submitted my contact info. They are VERY eager to sell you their product. After hanging up, I got another call from them within my area code and they were unaware I was already dealing with someone else from their company.
I dealt with Kevin, and it seemed like things were going well at first. We provided as much of the requested data as possible, some things like utility bills we could not provide since we cut out as many expenses (like cable TV) as possible. Since we have lived in our home for the past 12 years, we had built up some equity. We needed to cash out a total of about 80% loan to value (using the lowest original appraisal, see below) or about 77.5% using my estimated value or 78% using the revised appraisal value. I estimated the value and the appraisal ($500 of our money) is where things really went south.
The appraiser discounted the size of our detached building by 50%. It's a 2,400 square foot detached garage that can park 12 cars, yet it was listed as a 6 car garage. She also claimed she never received a survey, which I had personally emailed to her the same day it was requested. I would avoid dealing with Solidifi as an appraisal firm if it is at all possible. Long story short, the appraisal came in $15,000 short of what I had estimated. I complained and Kevin filed an appeal, and the appraisal was adjusted up $10,000 a couple of days later.
Having been told a few days earlier that if we could get within about $4,000 of the value, Network Capital could adjust some fees to where we would not have to pay anything out - something I made clear that thanks to the recession we could not do. Now that we were within $5,000, this figure jumped to $8,000 and our interest rate was up 1/8 percent, even though we supposedly had a "lock" at the lower rate- and filled out a form to that effect.
Having spoken to him several times, Kevin's problem is that he does not listen completely. I had to explain the appraisal problem as it relates to the detached garage several times. I finally had to explain square footage of my detached garage and how the appraiser had undercut the size. In our final call, he kept asking if we had any liquid assets and I had to keep reminding him that our retirement had been wiped out so we did not. I finally pulled the plug on this deal. Too many problems. It became clear the left-hand does not know what the right one is doing, as later that day I got an email from the assigned processor from Network Capital wanting yet more information. I replied that I had decided to look elsewhere. Based upon my experience with this company, I cannot recommend doing business with them.

From the time I started working with Ian until the closing at less than a month, it was nothing but a pleasurable experience. We had a refinance through National Capital. and it went according to plan, and I’m happy with the result. But as the process went on, they kept asking for additional documentation. If the full list had been asked for at the very beginning, it would’ve been much easier to get prepared and send it in one go rather in drips and drops. But overall, everything went reasonably smoothly. In fact, I picked them over Quicken. I didn’t like dealing with the guy at Quicken who contacted me. I did the refinance at that time because I had enough equity in the property to get away with not having to pay PMI anymore. It was not having to pay that additional PMI insurance, which is my money saving plan.

My sister, Marian contacted Bruno ** in the Florida office on September 13th to continue with the application previously started with Jack **, whom she had previously contacted in December of 2017. We had previously dealt with Network Capital; and, we had been very satisfied with them. My sister, Marian had contacted Jack ** in December of 2017 with Network Capital. Jack had everything completed, except, the last piece of information he needed was her income verification. Marian was busy working long hours; and, she did not get this to him in time, before he left the company. I do not understand why, such a stable company has a large turnover with employees?
Afterwards, we were solicited by several mortgage companies. The company most persistent was Federal Savings, who we had signed with on March 27th. The loan with Federal Savings did not close until July, with one mistake after another. We were very disappointed with them, as, the mistakes were not corrected in a reasonable time frame. The credit card payments were sent to wrong addresses, including a private residence in another state. Federal Savings did not know where the incorrect addresses came from? Our school tax bill has not been paid, at the time of settlement, leaving it to Franklin American, the new mortgagor, to pay it. They were taken over by Citizens Bank; and, it is still not paid, as, they did not mail it, in a timely manner in August. They waited until October 10th to mail it. Now, there is an additional $983.00 late fee, because it was not mailed in August.
Bruno was, and still is, a Breath of Fresh Air. When Marian had spoken with Bruno on September 13th, he immediately started the ball rolling. Bruno is an exceptional person. Bruno is knowledgeable, and, efficient and kind. Bruno listened to us; and focused on our needs. Bruno is conscientious. He made sure all of the transactions ran smoothly; and, closed the loan accurately within a few weeks. We have never had the opportunity to speak with Shelby; but, it does take more than one person to process loans. We are certain, Shelby was the guiding light to process the loan, as well as Bruno.
In our opinion, Bruno should be recognized and commended for his fine efforts with Network Capital and their customers. We are happy to work with a company, who follows thru with their commitments. We hope Bruno and Shelby will remain with Network Capital for many years; as, for whatever reason, Jack Duzbdanyan had to leave, it is sad. Jack did a good job, and, it appeared, he was happy with the company. We hope, your company will appreciate the fine work, which Bruno has been performing. Please consider allowing Bruno to remain with your company, and consider giving him a promotion, which he so richly deserves. Thank you for your kind attention to this matter.

I had a wonderful experience working with Alex ** and Kelly **. Alex has so much enthusiasm which is so refreshing. I spoke to two other lenders who tried to scare me out of applying for an FHA loan based on my credit history. One of them told me I'd never qualify for an FHA loan in my lifetime because I defaulted on a student loan years ago. He was so certain about it too.
I was about to give up on house hunting but then I remembered Network Capital - my father previously used this company to refinance his house (senior citizen with low income, etc) so I decided to pick up the phone and give them a call. Alex reassured me that he could help me secure a loan and that it would be ok based on my employment history and the fact that the loan is in good standing now. He was always so encouraging and diligent at his job. Very knowledgeable and professional. He even works late sometimes and would take my phone call in the evening after long crazy workdays at my hospital job. He's very good about following up and returning phone calls as is Kelly, the loan processor. He was right, I got approved for the loan and even with a few hiccups along the way, he was able to effectively get my loan approved for a reasonable rate. I am loving my new home now and will definitely work with this company again in the future!

I got a mortgage with another company that caused a problem with an ongoing mortgage because I had a USDA loan and they said I had to pay it off. The subsidy recapture was over $35,000 that they wanted immediately. That loan was paid off, which left me in a bind because I didn’t have that. So, I needed a loan very fast because they gave me 60 days to come up with the money or they were foreclosing the home after everything else was paid off. When I called Network Capital Funding, they were very fast and right on point explaining everything that they needed to with me. We encountered more problems as we were doing it but they worked with me on getting all of that straightened out.
The reps, Shelby and John, were wonderful. Even after the loan was through, John called once a month for a while to make sure that everything was still going okay and if there was still anything that could be done. The follow-up was wonderful. He encountered problems that sales don’t usually wind up with and it still went that well. Communication was the biggest thing in the loan and I was very impressed. The process took 60 days and even though they were up against a bunch of stuff, they still managed to put it through that quickly for us. Also, the rates and terms of the mortgage were competitive.
My husband said that they need to change the name of the company to On Point Mortgage because that’s what they were. They were so good and this was the best experience I have ever had. I have had mortgages in the past where stuff were not explained and not forthcoming that I have walked out of signings and dropped particular mortgages that were going in the past. With Network Capital, everything was exactly as needed. They gave me copies of everything. I will be referring people to them because of my experience.

I was looking into the HARP program and wanted to find out about it. I started online about the HARP. I filled out the paper on that and then a guy named Amir from Network Capital Funding called me. He was a really nice guy and I liked him. He looked at my interest rate and said he could do better, and that he could save me $30 to $40 a month and lower my interest rate and not change the length of my loan. We had three discussions. We talked again the next morning and again the next afternoon. I wasn’t interested in the first couple of things that he came up with. And then he came up with something at no cost to me where they would lower the interest rate, they would refinance and it would save me money. I just ran with the figures and it should save me money.
I had people call me and told me I didn’t qualify, but I refinanced with Network Capital Funding and ended up working with them. I went with a VA loan, and the application and underwriting process took three days. Then, I started getting calls from the people that do the money figures, the loans, and the balances, and it took another couple of days. And then to close the loan, it took about five days.
The loan officers that I worked with were good. I started off with one and she handed it over to another one. There was something about the way that the loan was being written that the first one couldn’t do it. Everybody was nice. I am a very cautious and non-trusting person so they had a lot of convincing to do with me. They had to show me a lot of figures and they had to send me emails and the contract before I would accept it. At one time, they told me to pay $150 upfront for my second mortgage. I had never heard it before but to be processed, I told them that I wouldn’t send them any money until I see any figures in front of me. She said she understood so she sent me papers and I sent the check, and we were done doing business.
The rate and terms of the mortgage were very good. I would tell my friends that Network Capital is good and that they should work with them. Network Capital is doing a fantastic job. They’re to the point and very honest. If they tell you they’re going to do something, they do it. Over the years, I’ve worked with four other companies. Some of the companies were well-known. They had a lot of advertisements and stuff but they can’t really do what they say they’re going to do, but Network Capital did. They did exactly what Amir said that they would do.
We went through a lot of different ways because we talked about going with the 15-year loan and we talked about going back up to a 30-year loan but I didn’t want to go back up. I wanted to shorten it or stay the same. So, we looked at a lot of different loans and a lot of different ways to go with this. I was searching for a decent mortgage company for refinancing my home, I looked at Consumer Affairs and found Network Capital. I contacted them and a loan officer by the name of Christopher ** contacted me. After explaining everything and answering his a long lists of questions he said that this company would refinance without any hiccups; and it usually takes 10 days to complete it. The long story short, he was keep changing the rates, adding points without letting me know and charging enormous closing cost. Finally, I gave up and asked him to stop calling me with his nonsense. I would give this company "0" star.

We have quite a ton of equity in our house and we had normal MasterCard bills. We thought why we pay these high-interest rates when we could just pay less on our home mortgage. After all, it was something we could afford to do. We wanted to get this zero on the rest of our bills. However, the process of obtaining a mortgage through Network Capital Funding was long and cumbersome. There's a lot of paperwork, a lot of things we needed to find. We haven't done it for years and getting all the bank statements and the appraisals was a little cumbersome at times even when it was doable.
Fortunately, the gentleman on the phone was good. His name was Ryan and he told us everything we needed to do. He was very positive and helpful and would stop everything and answer every question. Even though we were sending stuff back and forth all the time, he was on top of his job. We liked him very well. Moreover, the rate in terms of the loan we received was good. The process took close to 45 days. While we always wish it could be lower in terms of percentage, we understand the terms and it was enough to inspire us to do it. Overall, we would definitely recommend Network Capital not only for their professionalism and efficiency but timeliness too. The process really moved quickly.

I was new to this but they answered every single question I had and were very good at keeping me updated. They walked me through the process and were very professional. We received the rate that we wanted and they helped us get us there. And although there was a little hiccup at the end and it was nothing that they did wrong, they took care of the issue. They were wonderful.

I listen to Network Capital Funding's program on the radio on Saturdays, on WMAL. I was refinancing with a cashout and they went through my credit. We did the application and the home appraisal. After the home appraisal, we waited for the underwriting. When that was done, we went to the closing. I worked with different people and everybody did their part really well. Stefanie was wonderful at her job and I had a good time working with her, as well as with some other people they were using. I was also comfortable working with Chris, my loan officer. The underwriting took a little while, but the application was finished within two weeks. Everything took 21 days from the beginning. They said they’re not supposed to take that long but with the paper processing, it took a while. Moreover, their rates are okay. If I had somebody to refer, Network Capital will be the first one I would talk about. They did a very good job.

We were consolidating debts, so we were trying to refinance to pull cash out of our home. I had done something online and that gave Network Capital my phone number. I also had something going with loanDepot, and loanDepot had actually pursued me first. But Network Capital was able to give a better interest rate with less closing fees. They went back and forth for a little bit competing for our business, and Network Capital won. They gave us the most lending credit and they got the best turnaround.
The refinance process took 15 days and it was easy. It was way faster than we’d ever refinanced with anybody before. My loan officer Nasha was always pleasant to speak with. She seemed knowledgeable but not to the point that she made me feel illegitimate to be talking to her. She was also very honest. I told her that we were already with loanDepot and she told me right away that she was gonna see if they could get a better deal. She made me feel like a person, not just a business transaction. That happens sometimes with big companies, then you get lost in the paperwork. But she was able to communicate very well. I’ve recommended her to two of my friends to get refinancing through and gave them Network Capital Funding's number as well.

It seemed like this was not and I got a good deal. The whole process took a couple of weeks.
I wanted to understand how they work. I had to contact them quite often so I can understand line by line what was happening and that I understood every single dollar that I was signing up to spend. They could be more proactive and the numbers keep changing. Moreover, one of my concerns was, who is the bank that's going to have my loan. They weren't upfront about that. I had Chase and they're a big, reputable bank. I don't want a small little bank that's going to end up carrying my mortgage. Network Capital Funding told me they only work with big banks and now I have this Home Point Financial. I've never heard of them and I'm not really happy about that. Still, Network Capital Funding is better than average but you have to really ask a lot of questions.

Recently, my wife and I decided to refinance our home. Since our last mortgage was obtained well over 10 years ago, we thought it best to educate ourselves in the many aspects of acquiring a mortgage; before making a determination regarding the mortgage most suitable for us. After hearing an advertisement on the radio for Network Capital Funding, I decided to call the company. Surprisingly enough, an actual person answered the phone and identified himself as Angelo. I explained the purpose of my call and proceeded with several questions. The answers Angelo provided, in addition to the information he volunteered about mortgage refinance, were exceptionally informative. I realized at the conclusion of the telephone conversation that I was much better prepared to inquire about available mortgages from other competing lenders.
Subsequently, I contacted two additional lenders. Each lender provided answers and email information, however; no one, from either lender, contacted me at a later date. That was not the case with Angelo. Three days after my initial conversation with Angelo, he called to inquire about any additional questions or concerns that may have arisen. Following a forty-five minute conversation, wherein he and I poured over every imaginable detail of my mortgage issue, it became clear to me that I was not about to waste my time pursuing another lender.
Angelo was enormously professional, knowledgeable, eager to help, extremely responsive, and had the most competitive mortgage options. He was a true delight to deal with and actually answered the phone when I called!!! On the rare occasion that he did not answer, he returned my call very promptly. I was never put into one of those maddening, automated phone queues while never reaching a live person. The entire process was absolutely as smooth as silk. I can not endorse Angelo more strongly. If you are interested in a mortgage; at least call him. Then you will know firsthand.

Also, after I financed with them, I wound up only getting 25% lower than what I had when I could have gotten .25% lower at least to almost 3%. Then I found out about the notary, wherein I posted and I got charged for $260. Every time I tried to contact them, I never could, and when I sent my first payment to bill, it wasn't sent to the company that they sold it to, so I had to cancel a check and I lost money on that. I was drawn to Network Capital after seeing an advertisement on the Internet about the company. I had been browsing around looking for personal loan, line-of-credit options etc. So I contacted Network Capital and got in touch with Ian. Our personal situation was a complicated one (which I didn't realize at the time) with my husband and I both retirees living on Social Security and also having an FHA loan. Ian was very knowledgeable with all options I was looking at and after explaining in normal terms which might be the best for us, I decided to do a cash-out refinance.
Before talking with Ian I had no idea what would be the best for us and our situation. We needed to pay some debt off and he laid it all out for me so I could understand. He promised he would be with me every step of the way and he was... 'til the very end and after! I do not think I would have gone through all that (took maybe 3 weeks or a little more) if not for his explanations, his reassurances and kindness.
We were given to another department once I decided to go forward. We ran into many obstacles, such as it being an FHA loan which has many requirements, being Social Security retirees, and mostly our current mortgage company allowing us a 6 month forbearance on payments due to hurricane damage. A young man named Lloyd stepped in, along with an efficient young lady named Jamice, and after much confusion, and almost ending the negotiations, we were able to conclude the refinance to everyone's satisfaction. Through this entire experience Ian never misrepresented anything, both Lloyd and Jamice helped in concluding the deal, all three keeping me informed at every step. I want to thank Ian and his team for their kindness, their patience and their honesty. I would recommend Ian and Network Capital to anyone. I'm just thankful I got to work with these people!

Satisfied. I can truly tell you that the refinance process is a daunting task, there are so many variables that come with it, Your credit score, your debt to income ratio, your income, how much your current house is worth and county limits. The process can be very frustrating. I set out with a goal consolidating my first and second mortgage in order to save on PMI, lower my interest rate and lower my payments. With almost an 800 credit score and lots of equity you would think it would be simple. I tried refinancing with, Quicken Loans, My Credit Union and another company with negative results. I wasn't able to get the terms I needed.
Network Capital was able to give me the best rates and the best terms all with excellent customer service. Manager (Patrece **) in particular, the ultimate professional, she not only walked me thru the entire process but was able to answer any questions and make the calls necessary to get results done. She went as far as giving her personal number in case I had last minute questions. I recommend working with Network Capital for your refinance needs.

I continued to call and leave emails. Still nothing. Then weeks later I was contacted by (Christopher **) who informed me that he was taking over my file. Apparently (Devang) was no longer with the company, and I would have to resubmit all my documents again. Frustrating... (Daniel **) was assigned to be my closing processor so I submitted all my documents again. Now it's been over 2 weeks and still not hearing from anyone. They don't answer or return phone calls or emails. Seems to me that they're just there to get kickbacks from the appraisal fees.

It cost me $550.00 and would get back at closing. But the deal never went through and they won't give me my money back. Lose lose. They are liars.

I was contacted by Network Capital when I was looking to refinance my property. I had told them that I was looking for a no cost refinance and the representative for Network Capital, Brenda **, assured me that they could accommodate my needs. I provided all of my documents required for the loan and was assured there would not be any problems. After several back and forth discussions of why the appraisal fee was listed as $800 on the refinance worksheet they provided and the assurance that I would be reimbursed the appraisal fee at closing along with all remaining closing costs, I finally agreed to proceed with the process and let them charge $445 to my credit card to get the ball rolling. Immediately after that action, Brenda ** was out of the picture and I was dealing with Fashia **. I was asked to provide all of my documentation again and then I was repeatedly asked for "Letters of explanation" (LOEs) for every transaction on my bank statement.
After providing all of the requested LOEs, I didn't hear from Brenda ** or Fashia ** ever again despite repeated phone calls and emails. I was finally contacted by another representative from Network Capital who wanted to start the entire refinance process from the beginning and had no knowledge or account of my dealings with Brenda** or Fashia **. I was unsuccessful in getting a refund for the appraisal cost. Buyer beware.

Around the first of July I heard a Mortgage talk on our local radio station, about Network Capital and how wonderful they were. So what the heck we will apply for a refinance. Did all the docks, painted the house, got the place all perfect. They said we were good to go, we have excellent credit, they verified our income, all good to go just need the appraisal. We scheduled the date, waited, waited, no show. We called Network, they cancelled the appraisal, did not tell us. They said the loan docs expired, so we do it all over again, all good to go. This is two weeks later. Schedule another appraisal, once again no show, we call. They DID IT AGAIN, cancelled, did not inform us at all. We did not get the loan because I had a break in my employment due to illness. I only have 40+ years of steady employment, yet the underwriters decided at the last moment to deny us, first time in my life have we been denied, owning property since the early 1970's. 6 weeks of hell!

On March 14th I contacted this company for my father about refinancing his two homes. The lady I spoke with I believe her last name was ** was wonderful, helpful and gave me quite a lot of information and my father decided to continue. It was at this point he was passed on to other people and this is when the process went to hell. The two loans somehow got separated and the one home had HELOC on it. They decided to refinance the home with HELOC first even though the second property needed to be done first so that it could pay off the HELOC. They would not listen to my concerns. They continually got their numbers in correct, they continually tried to put an escrow on this first home and I didn't want one, they doubled the amount of what the insurance was going to be for the escrow and I had to fight to get it taken off.
I do not believe they gave us three days notice on the documentation because the changes were done and how much we are going to have to bring to closing on the day of closing they never had their numbers right until the very last minute. The day of closing was the absolute worst. We were going to meet a notary at a restaurant at a certain time they did not have the paperwork ready. She did not have the paperwork so she called me and cancelled it. I called the person I was dealing with and ask what happened, what was going on. She said everything was fine and that the notary had the Department's and she didn't know what she was talking about. Then call the notary and told her he not taking me and telling me that she didn't have the documents but she should have just let me wait until they had the documents.
In essence they wanted an 83 year-old man who would just getting out of the hospital to sit in a restaurant for 2 hours while the documents got to the notary. She printed them out and then brought them to us who were 30 minutes away from her house. The notary finally got the documents, we met at the restaurant we sign the forms. My Father Mark the Spot stating he wanted a paper copy with the notary stamp on it sent to the house from them. We sign the paperwork on March 27th and as of right now we still don't have a copy. That was the first one. I was promised the second one we go better. Because the two loans got separated I continue to bring up the fact that the home that we just closed on had a HELOC and they needed the money from the second home to pay that off. I thought that was not legal to do it that way but she said it was fine. I continue to question it through the whole process but they said it was fine.
The next day they sent us the paperwork for the second loan and the numbers were all wrong. They decided that since my father had two credit cards with an outstanding balance of $88 between the two that they were going to take money from the refinance and pay those off even though we said that is not what we wanted. I had to fight with them till almost the last loan document to get those removed. Next in this is still something that I don't think ever has been taken care of and we paid $425 for appraisal through the VA and they have it in our loan documents that they're taking it out of the refinance money. But I just looked at my documents. It stated that it was to be paid from the refinance money. It looks like we paid the 425 twice.
To make matters even more concerning they sent us a copy of the appraisal from the VA and in our appraisal I received someone else's appraisal from a person from another state. Their appraisal, how much their home is worth and a bunch of other paperwork. When I brought this up to them it didn't seem like it was a big deal. It is a big deal to me. I'm also sure the person whose information I received at the big deal too. Again we were receiving constant updated paperwork to the moment of closing. They forgot to tell us that we needed a termite inspection and that was done the day before and we barely were able to get that done. Now they've had two weeks to mention this and never bother doing that. Numbers they originally told us were nowhere near that. Was a VA funding amount was over $6,000 that were not told until the very last minute.
They were pushing closing for the 28th again. I do not think we had our three days to look at the documents and review them because they were changing them constantly. My believe it wasn't last set of documents when they actually remove the credit card money that we weren't going to pay out of this loan. So we had arranged with the notary that we were to close at 5 and she did not get the documents till 7:30 that night and then had to print them out at her house and drive up here a half hour away to have a sign the documents. Again I told her that I would wait till tomorrow because that was three too late for my father to be out as he had just been in the hospital and this was getting to be too much of a stressful procedure on everyone's end and let's put it off for the day since it's already 9 at night.
Well she basically demanded he sign those documents. She was very unkind, downright nasty and seem to have a chip on her shoulder about me wanting to change the time considering we had a five-time picked out for a few days already. Was not my fault that they had not done things correctly. Our father and I actually felt like telling them to stuff their loan since they had had this attitude with us at the last moment. Not even to mention that they demanded some documents at the very last minute that was going to create a problem. The company my father gets his retirement from does not use email or fax documents. They only mail them to my father and then he had to get them to her. I contacted the company and they stated that they couldn't do it any other way and that that was just the way it was.
I called them back they didn't like that answer. Three-way call with us on the phone with them. They were told the same thing and then they contacted the company behind her back and pressure them into doing it so they could get this loan done that day. I was not impressed with their knowledge of financial terms because the company that did my father's retirement told them that the document was a pension that he would get it for life and they could not seem to understand that. They pressured the company into doing it that way but what really bothers us is a went behind my father's back and called that company without my father and I on the phone to pressure them into doing it the way they wanted it. There was also an issue with the tax return that they needed my father to get on the phone with the IRS and help straighten out.
Again if these were issues how come they weren't issues in the first loan. Notary got the documents at the last minute, printed them out, had to race up there for us to sign. It felt very rushed and it did not feel like they took very much time to do this. I personally feel that the two loans got separated and they forgot about the second loan which they needed to do because of the HELOC on the first loan. And again we signed the papers at the end of March and to this date my father has not received any of the signed and completed and notarized closing documents from this company even though he marked the box that he wanted a paper copy of this loan with the notary stamp on it. Even though it only took 14 days to close on these two loans it felt very rushed and like they didn't have everything done correctly on this phone and were asking for things at the very last minute to get things done even though they had more than enough time.
I was very thorough when I sent them the information they needed for processing the loans. I sent them every document that they could need. She even commented that I really sent them everything they needed so they had that from day one. The original person I contacted was absolutely wonderful but after it left her hands it completely fell apart. After doing some homework and looking in on this I really wonder if these loans were done properly and it scares me. I have tried emailing Network Capital. I've gone to their page and hit their contact button and contacted them and sent them several emails and they've all come back that the address is not correct. How can it not be correct when it's from their own page.
Again to this date I have many questions that haven't been answered. One being that it looks like the 425 for the VA appraisal fund that we sent them was also included in the amount that the loan funded which means we were double-billed. I do believe this company is a good company overall in general but they certainly drop the ball on these loans. I will be more than happy to talk to upper management on these issues but I can't get a hold of them.

I recently refinanced my home with Network Capital Funding. I learned about Network Capital while listing to my usual radio station in the morning KFBK News Radio 93.1. I am glad I was listening to the radio when the Network Capital spokesperson was promoting refinancing options. I was excited to learn I could refinance my FHA loan for a conventional loan through Network Capitol. Based on this news, I called Network Capital and to my surprise I was fortunate to speak to a live person and his name was Angelo **. Angelo quickly explained my refinance options and ran some numbers for me. The same or the next day, I was approved to refinance my home and immediately submitted the necessary paperwork to get refinance process started. Next thing you know a house appraiser is at my house.
A few days thereafter, I receive a call from Julius **, the Network Capital Loan closer! Julius spoke quickly and provided next steps. The next thing you know a notary is at my house, I am signing refinance documents, and then a few days later I receive a letter in the mail from Network Capital indicating, "Congratulations your loan funded and is closed". This refinance process from start to finish happened in less than 20 days - very impressive. That being said, Network Capitol is credible and is very fortunate to have effective and efficient employees like Angelo and Julius working for the company. These two individuals are patient and helped me from start to finish, and demonstrated excellent customer service throughout the entire process. I recommend Network Capitol for your refinancing and home loan needs.

I had to complain many times to get anyone to respond to me on where the loan process was. In the end it worked out and I was happy.
A year later, they contacted me again. I told them I was reluctant to engage them after my first experience. They convinced me, and am I ever sorry. This process took equally as long, and the communications were worse than the first time. In addition, I have to bring almost $6,000 to the table, a big surprise that forced me to take money out of my retirement account and pay a penalty. This year, they contacted me again, and I let them know in no uncertain terms that I would never consider them again.

What might be the last straw here is after jumping through hoops I was told today that I needed to provide my medical information. I am disabled and showed proof of pay from both WC and SSDI. In what world does a bank need my medical info, they want the Dr sheet to the disability people that show my meds, implants and other. They got a letter stating my pay and that it is ongoing. I applied with Network Capital before deciding to use a different lender. Their rates were better than the big banks, but not as good as my local credit union. However, I am writing the review due to some business practices that I found questionable. I found Network Capital's pricing severely lacking in transparency. The totals they gave me did not include all relevant costs; I had to specifically ask about these additional costs to get a real total. They took a very aggressive, high-pressure approach and would not lock me into a rate until I had provided all supporting documentation. They did not have a secure portal for these documents, but rather relied on insecure email. All of these characteristics were fundamentally different than the other lenders I talked to.
My bigger issue came when I told Network Capital that I was going with another lender. They called me multiple times per day for the next few weeks, and continued to call a few times per week for the next three months. It was this continued annoyance that persuaded me to post reviews. When I posted my first review of Network Capital, they contacted me repeatedly asking me to remove my review or increase my rating. While it's nice that they respond to feedback, I am concerned that this level of pressure may be why their ratings are so high.

We were contacted by Network Capital Funding Corporation (Aerial Vega). We submitted all the required documentation they asked for, were informed we had an excellent credit rating of 795, and approved for a VA loan to refinance our home. The loan was turned over to another person (Marissa **). We received disclosures with different numbers. I believe Marissa was new and when we asked her a question she had to go ask someone else. Everything was moving along fine and our appraisal was done by the VA which we paid for and it was a good appraisal. We were trying to refinance and get some cash out to do some remodeling inside our home. We were all set to borrow 80% of the value of our home. They were going to pay off the 1st mtg and home equity loan and we would get some cash out.
It came up that Network Capital also required a termite inspection so they scheduled one and sent someone out to our home. When the person arrived they didn't understand what they were there for and it turns out he was not qualified to do a termite inspection for a loan closing. This was the day before the loan was set to close. We have a termite protection policy that we renew every year so we contacted them and they came out and did a termite inspection. We paid for it and they did the report and sent it to Network Capital early the morning of the day we were to close.
The notary contacted us and there was some miscommunication about the date and time of the closing. It had changed a few times and no one knew the exact time. To top it all off the day of the scheduled closing which was to take place at 4PM we received a phone call at 1PM that they could not close our loan due to some crazy deed restrictions that said "you had to have an RV to live in our community". I went on line and got a copy of our covenants that stated "you did not have to have an RV to live in our community" (although I don't know what that had to do with it since we do own an RV).
Anyway there were just too many different things going on that just didn't seem right and we really couldn't get a straight answer. We do not understand why they waited until the 11th hour and why we were treated this way. It was very very stressful. Now we have to start all over. My wife and I would say we were very dissatisfied and would tell anyone looking for a mortgage to stay clear of Network Capital Funding Corporation. There seems to be a lot of miscommunication and things don't match up.

I was recently contacted by Network Capital for refinance. Lady I was speaking to provided me the rates and asked me to sign the documents. I signed the documents and asked for amortization schedule. When I read the amortization schedule, it did not match up with what I was told on phone so I sent a mail asking for clarity and never got response. Next time I spoke to them, same lady did not even acknowledged the numbers we discussed and said the payment will increase by 8 dollars instead of 4 dollars every month. I was till fine and thought of giving them a chance. Due to my earlier experience, I again asked for amortization schedule and the document had increase of ~19 dollars instead of 8.
Somehow I felt this company has been lying since beginning and was always rushing to get the document signed and proceed. Even the manager who called later just mentioned it might just be a communication gap. I fail to understand how can same issue happen twice. They even had wrong dates and name documented (even after providing all the required documents) and they did credit check twice as first check was done with wrong name. So many issues in one simple transaction. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

From the get go, and the first conversation on the phone you are given specific information of how the loan process works. All of your questions are answered in easy terminology for those who are not well versed in the loan process. I had the pleasure and good fortune to work with Anthony ** who was beyond professional. He answered numerous questions and explained everything in detail. It was clear that Anthony was genuinely interested in helping me get the best interest rate and keeping the loan costs as low as possible. All in all it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend this company and Anthony for any refinance or new loan needs.

Network Capital resolved this matter to my satisfaction.
Original Review: May 16, 2016
Don't believe all the 5 star reviews; they are all probably from the employees at Network Capital. Currently I am dealing with them and I had my appraisal done and was told that my loan was approved and all they were waiting for was the HUD/closing disclosure from my current sale to finish up. 3 days before my closing the Title Company notifies me that they are unable to contact Network Capital. I try contacting them and find out 3 hours later that the employee working on my loan is on extended leave.
When I call her number it says it is not a valid extension. Someone else is put in charge of handling my account and I find out that the appraisal that was done over a month and a half ago is unacceptable and that they had performed a desk review of the appraisal and claimed it was 50K less than the original appraisal. I was told an expedited appraisal would be performed. It took them 4 days to schedule it and the closing on my house came and went.
I am now stuck in a hotel room with my belongings in storage waiting for these people to get an appraisal done so I can buy the house. I call them daily and every time I bring up expenses that I have incurred they dance around the subject stating "The owner must approve that." Stay far away from this company. They dropped the ball and admitted it but they have yet to make it right.

I have been dealing with Capital Funding for many years now. This is my third home purchase loan and I couldn't be more happy and satisfied with the level of service. I myself work for a major bank and still get much better rates, closing times, and customer service with Network Capital. This third home purchase of mine was for a Cabin in Big Bear and was able to close in 2 weeks. I know it may seem nearly impossible but it is true, even my escrow company along with the seller were caught by surprise. I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a loan. They are professional, diligent, and extremely competitive.

We heard about Network Capital on the Mortgage Radio Show and we gave them a call as we were in the market to refinance our present loan. We were so fortunate to have John ** with Network Capital to assist us through the process. There are so many words that will fit for John. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, honest and dedicated are just a few. John made the refinancing process as smooth and easy as possible. John explained the process and the timeline to complete the loan process and he was there to answer any questions whenever we needed. I would highly recommend the Network Capital! Thanks!

So when I called up Network Capital I spoke with John **. He asked for information. I gave them the information that he needed and in a matter of two weeks my loan was close. I've owned 12 homes in my lifetime and this definitely was the easiest and most efficient loan I've ever received.

To start with, I was looking for a refinancing company to refinance my house. Unexpectedly, I got a call from Ms Leila ** the loan officer. She got that good, kind and what I would say excellent customer service. And the way she was able to convince me of their low-interest rate, I just can't back out. The team has very convincing power to continue the refinancing of my house with them. I can refer them to my friends.

My wife Donna and I contacted Network Capital Funding Corporation about refinancing our homes. We spoke with Eric ** and explained what we wanted to do and because I am retired navy Eric let us know that we could use my VA Mortgage. We gave him our information that he needed and he was very professional and efficient in his quick response. Eric's knowledge and experience saved us money by combining the two mortgages with the VA Mortgage. We also worked with Jimmy ** in the final steps of the process. Thank-you Eric ** and Network Capital.

I was contacted by Eric at Network Capital concerning the mortgage on my home I had entered into some two years ago with Network Capital. At the time Eric call he said they could offer me a lower rate but I informed him I was having some medical issues and wasn't interested at the time. I told Eric to call me back in about a month. Not thinking I would hear from him again Eric did call me in about a month. He said they could lower my rate by .25% wow I thought not really worth my time and I basically blew Eric off. Eric called me again and I explained the first time took a lot of time and for .25% it wasn't worth it to me. He assured me this is a smooth process with no cost to me and in my case this .25% would equal a $175 lower monthly payment. No new assessment would be required of my home. The process was pretty smooth quick and no work on my part. Would highly recommend.

I just want to say, when I decided to make the call Eric ** was the man who got it all started. He explained everything that would take place during the process and amount of time it would take. Let's just say I'm very please with the outcome and all the other people I've met along the way. They were all very professional and polite during the whole duration from beginning to end. So to you who's thinking about calling and see if they are real, all I can say is try them and see for yourself.

We've been exploring for about a year the feasibility to refinance our home with different mortgage companies. About a month ago, I contacted several companies, including Lucas ** from Network Capital. The very favorable terms compounded by Lucas expertise and willingness to take the time to explain in detail the mortgage terms are what finally convinced me to pull the trigger and go with Network Capital. Lucas was very easy to talk to and quickly responded to follow up questions. The whole process went very smoothly, and we closed within approximately eight days from my initial call. Also want to give a shout out to Shelby ** who processed the loan, answering questions late in the evening, and ensuring the loan closed without a hitch. Overall, very impressed with Network Capital business model and their focus on the customer. Will definitely consider Network Capital for our future mortgage needs.

I will need to move within the next few months from my home of 10 years. Just the thought of dealing with realtors, looking for the right location, visiting homes makes me already tired... Add to the mix having to deal with mortgage lenders and the whole experience will be a nightmare - at least so I thought! But I was wrong! Lucas **, one of the Mortgage Bankers at Network Capital, has changed my long-held opinion about the process (which was based on personal past experiences). He has been very patient with me, laying out the alternatives, explaining the different programs, answering my many questions. (I ask, ask, ask questions!) I am satisfied with the product offerings Lucas has presented to me and am very relieved that at least this part of the home purchasing process has been smooth. I found my perfect lender! All I need to do now is find the perfect home. :-)
