They are loan sharks and should be shut down and have no business license, ** customer service and the people working there are idiots. Save your money. Go somewhere else.

    I was approved for a loan through LoanMart and OH MY GOD! The run around and laziness and ** they tell you. I spoke to 5 different people and nobody was updated. Let's not talk about lunch everybody’s excuse, 30 min? Nope.. 1 hr? Nope... 2 hrs maybe a response. If you upload docs online, expect 48-72hrs for any funds. Not good for emergency funding. I ask for official copy of their policies because of the stupid excuses and they couldn’t provide it. I asked for a supervisor and I was denied. Completely shady, shaky and unethical.

    It was a really easy loan process. All I had to do was get a little personal information and then they got a few things verified. Everything went through so easy. My loan officer was responding to me quickly. Whenever I sent him something to verify, he would respond instantly, so everything went quick. I just went into Walmart and everything went through. This was the easiest loan I've ever done.

    I paid off the loan and I never received my title back. Now I have to go out of my way to go to the DMV and have the lien removed. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

    Every time I called LoanMart, I was able to speak to someone and get the proper information. The only thing is the emails. I got some in my junk folder, but I did not receive all the emails as they were saying I was receiving them. For instance, to get the MoneyGram's information, I had to call in to get the numbers and I still haven't received the email for it, even though they said they sent it three separate times. Aside from that, I had no issues with anything else.

    It was a relatively easy, straightforward experience. I knew what I was getting into and I looked at the reviews on everything. With that being said, you have to know what you're getting into and prepare yourself. A lot of the negative reviews were people that weren't prepared. Don't get a title loan if you can't afford it. It's meant for an emergency, not for extra walking around money.

    It wasn’t an easy process with LoanMart. I had to go to my local tag office, which is about 20 minutes from my house, to get the title fixed. Because I didn't know that the title had one number different from my address, which was my old address. So that dragged that out for a few days. It was on a Friday and my tag office was closed on Saturdays and Sundays. That following Monday, I finally went to the tag office to get everything done. They ran my credit more than once. After I did that, I tried to contact my loan officer, but it took him a while to respond. Then, when it came time for them to process the loan to my account, they had the information messed up. Someone told me I will get it the same day, but I didn't get it the same day. It was the next day.

This loan greatly impacted my life because I was in a loan that I had been paying for about 18 months and I was just paying interest on the loan. I paid over $7,000 for this loan that I only borrowed 2,500 on. I was never gonna get out of that loan unless I paid it off in full.     I did the quick walkthrough. We were pre-approved. I said, “Okay. Let me see if I can make this work.” It was midnight and I didn't know what LoanMart's hours were. So, I waited until the next day. They called me. I said, “It's just I want to make sure this is going to work first.” They shocked me on their customer service Quick and honest. They made sure I understood the amount of money it would be a month. They worked with me.

    We told the rep our situation. Because, at the time, I hadn't started work, but I had a contract for work. And she said, “Unfortunately, we wouldn’t have a loan for you, but you added your husband as a co-signer, we could.” And I specifically asked, “Would that change the rate or hidden fees or anything?” She said, “No. It’d be just exactly the same. I understand that’s the fear of a lot of people. It does not do anything other than just make it also reliable. Once you start getting paid, the payments go down every month, not drastically.” And I like that she told us that it didn’t go down drastically. So, the honesty was amazing with who we worked with. Also, she was very patient. I had to call my mom while we were on the phone with her to make sure that this wasn't a loan that we would get half-assed on. We settled.

    This by far is the absolute worst loan company that a person can use. They do not communicate to you when a major change has taken place with your account status. Although, you may opt to receive calls, text and also email they do not communicate when your account status changes. When you call in and speak to a representative that person provide information. Then when you call back and speak to someone else they're oblivious of what the previous rep communicated. But they communicate on every call that this call is being recorded however, when you ask them to pull the call so that they can review what was communicated by the previous rep that act like that is not a option. They are completely inconsiderate and insensitive to a person going through hardships and other unexpected emergencies in their life.

    I lost my Mom and my Dad had COVID and no one took the time to communicate to me that a status changed on my account and I wasn't aware until the morning of heading out to take my daughter to school and my car was gone which was completely unacceptable. The previous reps communicated to me that I would be notified via phone call, text and also email if my account went into a status as such and that was never done. So I DO NOT recommend this company to no one. Unfortunately, you seek to get a loan based off your circumstance in which mine was for a unexpected emergency but you don't look for your experience to go from bad to worst. If I had know that this is the way this company handle business I would have NEVER used them in the first place. And now you accumulate all these fees that could have been avoided had someone done their job. So if you're looking for a loan company I personally do not recommend this one.

    Not to mention all the unnecessary fees you occur, but you also have to pay $500 on top of their fees for towing which is completely insane. And to make matters worse you have only 7-10 days to come up with the money or your vehicle will be auctioned off. Completely insane!!!! DO NOT AND AGAIN I SAY DO NOT USE THEM!!!! There are other companies that are out there that has better service with less stress and headache.

    I wasn't pleased to be taking out a title loan on one of my paid for vehicle, but I was pleased that LoanMart was willing to do it, and everyone has been fairly professional. If I forget about the payment and it's late, they do have a tendency to be a bit pushy with having me postdate or schedule something. But I understand why they would do that because I don't really have the same relationship with them as I did with my other creditors. Also, it’s on me if I forget the call and schedule a payment. Otherwise, they don't really bother me or get on my nerves.

    The Application with LoanMart was seamless. They were very on top of it. They called me daily and emailed, too. Their representatives were wonderful. The percentage rate with LoanMart was 60%. With TitleMax, it's 183%. They're terrible. They don't even have fax machines. LoanMart blows them out of the water. I would a hundred percent recommend LoanMart. There was one small thing where they had the wrong routing number for my bank and they sent it somewhere. It took like five days. So, for those five days, I did get it but I paid interest, which was about 8.50 a day. But it's not a big deal and they were great overall.

    When I first made the call to LoanMart, I told them the exact situation. I said that the title was in my trucking company name, which is my last name and I asked them if they do the loan like that. They said they could. I found out from a guy named Javier that that couldn't happen. At that time, I was already wrapped up into the deal and I had to switch my title out my name. So, that was an inconvenience and it wasn’t too good of an experience. But after that, it was easy. I did the application and sent the pictures in, and I have a clear title. As long as you got the title in your name and not a company name and it's clean, then it's a smooth transaction. LoanMart was by the book. There was just nothing they could do.

    I was told if I made partial payment that they would put off the following month payment, and I wouldn’t have to pay again until March. They told me to call back in February and they would assist me. I was able to come up with the whole payment, and now their saying they didn’t say it. Their coming up with different scenarios and twisted what was told to me around. I wrote down the info and who I talked to each time. They know people are going through hardship and they DON’T CARE. They are money hungry and a selfish company.

    I ended up going with LoanMart because my grandfather passed in Michigan and we were trying to do a cremation ceremony to get him and fly him back home. I did a title loan and LoanMart was fast and on point. Their rep asked for pictures of the vehicle all the way around as well as the VIN on the driver's door. She wanted the mileage, a picture of the dash, a picture of me with the tag of the car, and a picture of the title initially. They then asked me to send the actual title and income information as well as my proof of residence. I did my light bill.

    The process took about three days. I didn't have a FedEx in my area to send off my title and they were waiting on me to send the confirmation that I had from FedEx. I pushed it out one more day. The process could have been done in two days if not for that. The only thing that threw me off a little bit was when they requested for me to sign the form and send it back to them via FedEx, they didn't tell me that I needed to send my title with it. All I sent was the form and they blew me up. I would have sent the title initially had they told me. I then had to drive 45 minutes again to a FedEx the following day and this was during my work day. But that was perfectly fine and I understood. Other than that, the process was smooth. LoanMart was convenient. I asked for an amount and they gave me what I asked for. The loan officers were consistent and they didn't hassle too much. The experience has been not bad so far so I would recommend Loanmart.

    I got pressured into getting the loan. When I told one of the officers I was thinking about it, he kept messaging me asking “Hey, are you ready to apply, finish submitting the information for your loan offer?” I said I was still gonna think about it and she still contacted me back asking if I was ready to sign. I understand the need to sell, but it was just a little more pushing the envelope farther than I expected. I ended up getting the loan and it's great that I put all the information in, so I got approved for it. I don't like how high the interest rates are as it's 150% interest which is ridiculous. Other than that, the service is okay and it’s a great opportunity.

    I spoke with one of the loan agents Ahmad about 30 minutes ago. He was helping me get my loan approval finalized so I went thru verifying all my information (including place of residence, job, ssn # etc.). I also let him know from the beginning of the phone call that I still owed on the car and the estimated amount. He said that wasn't a problem and proceeded to continue finalizing the loan process asking what amount I wanted to borrow and describing the payment terms etc. When we got to the list of what I needed to complete the loan (documents I needed to provide) he stated I needed to have a picture of the vehicle title front and back.

    When I asked him if that's something I would have to request from the place I got the car since my title isn't clear then he said that he wasn't aware of that and all the sudden said he got an error message from the bank stating that they found something on my vehicle and denied the loan after all and tried to play it off and say "That's weird. I don't know why they would say that" and he tried to hurry up and get off the phone... All this AFTER my credit was ran with a hard inquiry and AFTER I already told him from the beginning of the phone call that the title wasn't clear.

    I called back and spoke to another agent Marco and explained what happened and that I would like to make a complaint about this because the first agent was not clear with me. Marco explained everything to me in detail which is not the same info I got on the first phone call. He gave me an email to write my complaint to. I want to know what can be done at this point since I was not given adequate info from the beginning. I would've liked to have been approved for the amount I originally was approved for or figure out what can be done with this hard inquiry to get the issue resolved. I would have never attempted this if I would've known this would've have been the outcome, I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND!

    When I talked to people from LoanMart, they seemed very trustworthy. They would sit on the phone with me while I was driving from my house to Walmart to pick up the money. If someone was going to hoodoo you around, they sure aren't gonna sit on the phone with you while you drove there although I felt a little uncomfortable a couple of times because they all asked everything.

    There were a few hard times during the loan and application process. I could understand taking a picture of yourself, face to face, but they wanted a picture of you from each side. They wanted a picture of your face, your back, your front and your side to side. Then, they got where you had to turn to a 45 degree angle, which was hard. I could never capture that picture of myself. So finally, I had to figure out how to get ahold of them and tell them that I've tried taking all these pictures. I also got beside my car and took a picture of me because LoanMart wanted you to take a picture of yourself standing beside your car by the tags. I had to take a picture of the inside of the car, on the outside and the inside of it. If I'm gonna loan money to somebody, I'd want to see the car, too. So that wasn’t a problem to me. It was the 45 degree angle that was aggravating me.

They weren't sent till two days later. Also, it would make it easier for some people if they could make bi-weekly payments. LoanMart told me they don't allow that. It has to be paid all at once.

    I didn't want a hard pull on my credit to get an offer, I'd gotten offers from other companies without it. They seem to train their reps to pressure people into moving forward. The rep I spoke with said the company was very good and felt confident I'd get an offer I wanted so I gambled and went through with it. They offered me a decent loan amount but with 97 PERCENT INTEREST! I told the lady that I'm pretty certain that the interest cap in Florida is 30%. She claims it's legal. Well, I'll be calling the secretary of state and we'll find out for sure because not only is it evil and unconscionable to take advantage of people like that, it is very possibly ILLEGAL. I will be reporting this company to the secretary of state in the state of Florida.

    This has been nothing but an absolute headache. They claim if you submit your documents by four you’ll get your funding the same day. I am now on day 3 of this application process because my loan officer Luis decided he didn’t want to tell me he needed additional documents. I only found out when I called and his coworker told me what further steps I needed to take. Not only that, but apparently he wrote in his notes I didn’t upload all the required pictures but when this coworker merely glanced at my documents he noticed they were all there. I’ve called several times today and he he has been nothing but rude and unhelpful. I tried to calmly explain my concerns and he raised his voice, refused to listen, and talked over me every time. Save yourself the hassle and the headache and choose literally any other loan.

    My title loan process only took two or three hours although it has more paperwork to it because I just got paid off the title and I hadn't had a chance to get the lien off that was on it before so I had to send pictures of the lien releases and those were a lot. Everything was handled the way it was supposed to. LoanMart is the place to go to get a title loan for your car to get extra money, as long as your car’s got a good Blue Book value on it. I would recommend any of my friends that needed to do a title loan as long as they could go online.

    The title loan process wasn't easy by no means. We waited on the documents. LoanMart had to resend them a couple of times then having to print the papers off and get them notarized. Then they said I got to print this off and take it to FedEx. I ran all day. Then in order to get the money, I went to Walmart in West Virginia first, and they couldn't do it. I went to Ohio Waltermat and they were not accepting money. It was only outgoing. The only place I could find around that had MoneyGram was a place in Ironton and it was miles and miles away from me. I got there and all they could do was give me $500 and the rest in a money order. Then I have to deposit the money order in the bank. It was a long, drawn out process. Nothing I liked. They were friendly, nice, and kept in touch with me. It was just a lot of running and a lot of waiting. I would recommend them, but I wouldn't do it again.

    The LoanMart agent went through the questions with me to make sure everything was okay and I qualified for the loan. I was given the approval then I was requested to send some documents. My vehicle title was one of them, but I misplaced it, so I followed up with them and told them that. They said that I had to call the local county and request a new one. I did that, but I was told that it could take a month. I called the first agent and said, "Hey, this is gonna take a month. I think I'll have my situation figured out by then, so I don't think it's necessary that I get this loan." He said, "Okay. Take care." That was the end of it.

    I got a call a few days later giving me the status of my application. I told the guy that I was talking to, "I just spoke with the representative earlier and told him that I misplaced my title. He told me to go down to the county and request a new one. That could take a month before I can send it to you, which I don't wanna go through that whole process." He then gave me the option of going down to the county and putting down LoanMart as a lienholder of my title.

    I ended up doing that, and everything worked out. I was able to get the money in two days. However, I wasn't given that option with the first representative and the one option he gave didn't work for me. If I was aware of the second option, I would have definitely took it, because once it's printed, it's updated in the system within 24 to 48 hours, and I could go for the loan. Other than that, it's been a great experience.

    I did two loans with LoanMart. The first one went great. The second one went great too. We got a little bit higher limit this time, and everybody's been more than gracious. Everything was done in a timely fashion. The second time around, it went even quicker because I was already in the system and already had good history with LoanMart. I don't like the interest rate though. On the last loan, I probably paid on it for about four months. I'm self-employed, so I used the money for a project. Then when I got paid, I paid it straight out. I wasn't really happy because I paid on it for a good four months, and the balance never went down. I don't really like how that works. I was explained that it was a very simple interest loan. Whatever was explained to me the first time wasn't exactly how it went. So now that I know what I'm in for, I'm going to be even more quick and apt to get the loan paid off in full.

They also made it easy to send the title in and provided the packing slip. I paid it off early and I got the title back quickly. Everything went smoothly and I didn't get any issue. The second time I used them, they gave me more money for the same vehicle with a rate of 11% per month because my credit was better and I proved to them. I still want to pay it off quickly. It’s just that I needed that cash then. I made some mistakes again with money. But they were there. I don't have anything to put up. It's better than a lot of things and works pretty well.     I needed money for my business to keep it going. I have a Jeep Wrangler and I needed someone to give me quick answers. LoanMart didn't try to talk a bunch of nonsense to me. The person I dealt with gave me quick answers and we got off the phone. He then called back when he needed to. It was to the point. The process for my title loan was pretty easy. It was all online, except the final documents that had to be signed. That was probably the most irritating thing because I couldn’t DocuSign it. I was at work doing it during the day and I didn't have a printer with me. I had to keep running to a FedEx or a print or copy place and had them print documents really quickly then sign then send them.

    I sent the information in and the initial guy I dealt with was supposed to send me something. I couldn’t get back in touch with him and I never got the thing so I called back in and got a different guy. He sent the thing to me. I ended up doing the final stuff with this guy. Both guys were great and they helped me out very quickly. LoanMart was very pleasant and I enjoyed the conversation with them. The process wasn’t long and a hassle.

    It was a long process. They required certain stuff. I was the person that returned calls. LoanMart would say they would call me back in an hour, but it would be a another day, I would call back. They were not consistent in telling me my next process. And then I thought the loan I originally got was not clear on the information. They said that I could pay it back anytime, at any given time. I was thinking, “Why would he take three years to pay $1,200 back?” Information was not good. I wanted to pay it off in March. I'm still not clear, do I pay the whole three years of what was originally planned or what will be the amount for it in March?

    But the loan helped me in my everyday life. My payment is not due until the 15th. But if it's what I think it is, is they're asking me on a $1,200 loan to pay them back $5,000 no matter how early I pay back or how late. I can see if I took it to three years then that's acceptable. But if I'm saying, “Hey, five months from now I'm just gonna pay, do I still pay the $5,000?” For instance, I've had the loan for six months, do I use the percentage rate six times? I'm thinking, “Okay. Let me buy me time for three months.” But I'm thinking, “Doing three months, so I pay this $5,000 back?” Because then, after I got it, I read reviews. I wouldn't have put the loan had I read reviews first.

    The bad thing is they did not tell me step-by-step. I had to figure it out on my own. I had to keep calling like, “Are you guys sure? Did someone supposed to call me back?” “Oh, we're sorry.” Then I'm on hold with the person while he is processing it for 35 minutes. People are doing things right now with high interest rate. So, they're nervous about it. If they could be more comforting and explain it more like a person doesn't have a clue. I speak for other single parents who call in panic mode. That's how people get to where they're going. It's an important thing. It should be explained thoroughly. By the time I realized what I've done, I already signed the papers.

    I was searching title loans, which worked best with the way I received my income, and LoanMart popped up. They were the first ones that reached out to me and were able to start the process. The application process took 45 minutes because I did it over the phone. I had to be transferred a couple times but they helped me fill everything out. The reps were kind. The only like downside that I've experienced was, I had been offered a secondary advance for making a certain amount of payments on time and I was transferred five times when I decided to inquire about it and see what my options were. They would ask what I was calling about and I would explain it, and they would transfer me. It seemed like they were having issues that day with knowing who handled what. But outside of that, everything has been great. They're super understanding and helpful, and I haven't had any issues so far.

    A representative from LoanMart. Sent me a bar code, to make a payment at a PAY NEAR ME location. Turns out that bar code was going to their personal pre-paid card. Called LoanMart back to report it. But my call was just forwarded to another call center. And it was as if the representative had no concern of my terrible experience. Every representative I contacted about this matter, showed no concern. And so nonchalantly acted as if it was no big deal, as if they were protecting a fellow employee. (Mind you that the payment was over 1700 dollars). But payment was denied and refunded because it was going to a prepaid card instead of to the company to go towards my bill. It was an all day process to make that large payment. Wound up traveling to a neighboring state to make that payment.

    Loanmart does have a lower interest rate on their title loans. But it's not worth being charged to pay early. (Even though they say there isn't a prepayment penalty) But if you make too many early payments, there definitely is. And a foreign representative from a call center (I assume was overseas) tries to steak large payments. Either to split among other employees in India, or to take home and support their family. LoanMart may be an excellent place, if you plan on sticking to their payment plan, and paying all the interest. But if you try to pay it off quick and/or in a large sum. That's when problems arise. Avoid unless you're gonna stick to their payment (sucker) plan.

I knew I could depend on them like I did last time. The loan process wasn't long. It just took a day for everything and I'd probably pay them off early again after the holidays were over.

    The people from LoanMart that I've talked to are always friendly, courteous and professional. I had a little issue last time and they gave me a little bit more time until I was able to pay it. The only thing that I have issues with is with whomever it is that we have to mail the title off to, they’re only open certain hours. But the LoanMart process was easy. I was at work trying to handle stuff and I had to keep putting them on hold ‘cause I was getting work phone calls. But they were very patient. Some people won't hold like that. If I shall need them again in the future after this, I’ll use them again. If my friends and family needed all the information to get started with LoanMart, I will pass it along.

    I have been a client for a while and I’m now in a position to make more than monthly payments. I have had to call 3 times today to have them place my added $250 toward my principal or loan balance and I got 3 different answers “one time exception“, we can’t do that“, "call a manger tomorrow". It's as if they don’t want you to overpay your loan although the websites clearly states you can call after an overpayment to apply to your principal. I was warned by a friend who used them that it took him a week of calls to finally get the payoff amount and months to get the title. Very sketchy Especially when basically guideline discourage you from paying extra.

    I needed a loan and it seemed like LoanMart's fees weren't as high as other businesses. So, I thought it was a good idea just to use them. The application process was very easy. But they kept calling me instead of writing everything down that they needed me to do. They kept calling me telling me that they needed this, and then they needed me to resend this. I still haven't got the loan from them. I've been waiting since last week because one of the loan officers put the wrong routing number in there after I sent him my account number and the routing number. I signed the documents. I signed them off from my phone, so I didn't look at the routing number to make sure because I already sent it to him. But he put a different California number in there.

    I sent my title off last week. I was supposed to get the money Thursday morning. I thought it was a scam because I just sent them my title to my car, but I haven’t got anything. They made me wait and wait, and I'm still waiting. That’s the only problem I’m having with them right now. Everything else was good. They were nice about it. They kept apologizing. I know a friend that wants to get a loan through them but they're leery. They're waiting for me to get my money first. If LoanMart puts the money on my account like they said there, then they’re gonna go to LoanMart.

She said, "No. It’s gonna have to go to the delinquency department." But I didn't have this problem the first time around, so I'm not understanding what the problem is this time.     LoanMart was more understanding and the process was very simple. I went with them and my experience went very well. I was having a family emergency at that time and the service was perfect. I just had to submit everything through text message or email. As soon as I did that and showed them that I sent off my title, they sent the money right away.     I obtained a car title loan late last year. Due to the pandemic, finances became tighter. I was granted an extension which I honored however, came into a position where I couldn’t make the payment. I called and made a 57% partial payment. I get paid one week past my due date and told LoanMart I would pay all past and current charges when I got paid. The representatives I spoke with told me they could do Nothing and that they would have my account manager return my call. I didn’t receive a call and called daily.

    I got ahold of the account manager one week before my payday. I explained the situation, and was told she was given no messages and no notations were made on my account about my several calls. She said that repossession procedures would begin on Monday. I asked if they could wait until Friday and everything would be paid and was told no. My account isn’t in massive default and other than the partial payment and the charges that came due four days ago I am in good standing. I would think the company would offer a little more time for people who have been financially impacted by this pandemic. Very impersonal and lacking in empathy.

In order for me to get license plates for my vehicle, the license place wants me to have either a title or a memo bureau letter and I'm having issues with that right now.     I told them that if I can't get license plates for my vehicle, then there's no way for me to get to work. If that happens, then there's no way for me to pay my payment.     These people do not work with you! With Covid 19 both my husband and I lost our jobs. Loan Mart could care less so we fell one month behind (really 1/2 a month). I made an arrangement for payment and for some reason their payment didnt come out of my account (money was in the bank). 5 days later they repossessed my car making me have to pay all late fees that they told me they were waiving, the 2 months of payments plus a repo fee. Which I had to borrow to pay them ... They were rude and unhelpful. Now the lot where my car is doesnt answer their phones so even though my loan is paid in full. I still have no car. I'm waiting till they open this morning but have no faith that I will get my car today. I'll probably if were lucky we'll get it tomorrow. Dont ever use this company. We are so sorry we did!!

    I checked with the Better Business Bureau and LoanMart seemed like a reputable company. The representatives were excellent. However, they continuously called me every single day and I told them I was in the hospital, I was taken by ambulance, I didn't have my purse or anything with me, that I would contact them as soon as I got out. That was quite annoying and it bothered me. They should do a little bit better because there are circumstances that come up to where people aren't able to make a payment or stops people from doing that at times.     I filled out an application and then LoanMart called me. I took some pictures of documents and faxed them. They sent me a contract and I faxed that. They also sent me a prepaid envelope. I took it down to one of the FedEx and mailed the title to them. Once they got the confirmation number, they deposited the fund. It was a very simple process. I talked to a young lady several times. She walked me through the whole process, kept in touch with me, and made sure I understood everything that was in the contract. They went over with all the different payment options on the phone. It’s not the best loan in the world to get, and it’s usually for people who are credit challenged and living alone, and they did not make me feel like I was a financial failure for using it.

    I called and got a quote and they said that I could borrow $2600 and my interest rate would be 36% as required by the new law in California but apparently once they get all your information run your credit and basically leave you in a worse place than when you started they tell you, "Oh your credit and vehicle do not qualify for that loan but we can help you with a loan for $2600 from our "partner"," which is them just under a new name ChoiseCash then they try to stick you with an interest of 170% a year!!! AND this is apparently all legal because they don't give you the loan some bank in Utah does and then they still collect your money because they "service" the account. This is such a horrible thing to do and not to mention not completely on the level or legit with the new California law.

    I called Loanmart and asked what the payments would be. I was told 120 and change per month for 36 months. I did it all online and it was not easy. After the runaround with paperwork came the signing. I was then told my payments would be 211.55 each month for 36 months. Got my first bill and it was 201.81 for interest alone each month minus 211.55 gives me 10.74 towards my loan. I did not know that they were going to charge me 6.51 per day for the length of the loan. I was not told specifically told how they calculated the loan. They just kept say my payments would decrease each month. I was told it would be 195% x 31 days for my interest minus my monthly payments. I was mislead and told half truths but because I was in desperate need of the funds my opinion is they took advantage of that and reeled me in as a mark.

    Please do your math and ask all the questions they failed to answer for me. April 2020 is a bad time for us all and they profited by my lack of knowledge. I will never recommend this company to anyone. I am on disability and now deeper in a hole. Beware and know every detail even when they don’t want to disclose it push for all the numbers. Or be charged 3 times the amount of the loan. They misled me from the beginning. My mistake.

    I was looking for a loan and LoanMart came up. I had gone through several and I didn’t like the way they sounded, and LoanMart was right where I was comfortable with. Sometimes, you ask a lot of information that someone doesn’t really wanna give until they’re actually speaking to a person, and I didn’t wanna give that information until I spoke to someone directly. And I was able to do that. I left my name and number, and someone called me.

    It was easy over the phone. All I did was ask for it and they sent me the documents. I took the pictures like normal before which I found out I didn’t have to, but it all worked out. It was very simple and was all done over the phone. I was able to send my stuff and sign my docs and everything was fine. LoanMart is really good. It sounded like they were really concerned about helping me. They were very sweet and understanding. They asked the appropriate questions which I thought they wanted to make sure that I wasn’t overextending myself. Everybody I talked to was really nice. It was just a very nice experience all over.

    Everything is working out great with LoanMart. I took out my first loan in December, and at the end of February, I paid it off. Then something came up and led me to take out another loan because I was kinda wanting to build my credit up and I needed some extra cash in-between time. So, I was happy I did it because now, we're off of work. The Coronavirus is here and we're on a shutdown. So, it was a very big help that they gave me the loan again. It wasn't what I wanted, but I made it work.

    For my first loan, I made my first payment in January, then my next bill due was on the 13th of February. But I was explaining to the lady that I wanted to pay it off the 28th when I'd get my income tax check because I didn't wanna use the money that I had at the time. I was going through this epidemic while going back and forth sharing cars with my husband. Everything was a little slow and I didn't really like sharing my car. But he finally got his fixed after a couple of days. So, I let LoanMart know that I wanted to pay them on the 28th but they were forceful and said that I had to pay it on the 13th. I told them that I couldn't pay it at the time because I didn't have the money for it, but I was gonna pay them the $3,000 something back in less than a week.

    They said that I was gonna get penalized for it and I told them that that was kinda unfair. I was also hoping the penalty would be taken away since I was gonna be late for a week but I was about to pay the whole thing off. Instead of me paying them $600 something, I was about to pay them back all of the money that I still owed after paying one payment. In the end, I completely paid them off in February and they were happy that I did. As for my second loan, they told me that I would be able to get back something and I didn't get that back. So, I didn't like that because nothing had changed except my mileage. Also, there were a lot of hidden details that weren't explained that I didn't like. Still, their program is better than all these other programs where they wanna go by your credit score and things like that. LoanMart's process is also a little bit easier than that of other companies where I've taken out loans before.

    I used LoanMart a few years back and it was a really nice experience. Everything went exactly like they said. But this time around, it didn't. Every time I called, I talked to somebody else and they had to put me on hold for a long time. After I got the loan, I got phone calls like every 45 minutes. I don't have time to sit on the phone but LoanMart wants me to be on hold. I don't understand why they wanna keep calling me time after time after time. I almost wish I wouldn't have done it. But at this point, it’s done and I'm glad I did. But it was a frustrating experience. I emailed them but they wanted me to email them a voided check so they could direct deposit in my account and then they didn't do that either. So it was a long experience.

    One time, they sent me the docs but I didn't know they expired after a day. They sent them to me on a Saturday morning and I was at my mom's house and she was sick so I wasn't really paying attention to it. I went to sign it on Sunday morning and it was expired. But their reps were always friendly. I'm happy right now. I ended up getting what I wanted but it just took longer.

It was, "Do this, and then you get another email. You gotta do this. And then after you do that, you gotta do this and that and this that." It was a lot. They kept calling me. After I signed one paper, then I needed to send pictures. After I sent pictures, "Okay, now you have to do this." It was tedious and hectic but they gave me the money.

    I get a ton of phone calls from LoanMart. I get one saying that my bill is in two days, then another saying that my bill is due in one day. I then get another phone call saying that my bill is due today. That's frustrating. Other than this issue, LoanMart has been great. When I needed money and I was in a pinch, they helped. Their interest rate is very high though.

    When I got my tax return, I was trying to pay the loan off, and LoanMart said they couldn't take payments over the phone. I had to go to a MoneyGram location, go to my bank adn get cash-out. I moved from Tennessee to my current location, and my bank is a local bank in Tennessee. So, I can't just go to an ATM and pull out $3,500. There has to be some way where if LoanMart knows that they're working with people not at a location, they should be able to take money out of their bank accounts. Now, I have to keep making these big payments until my loan is paid off. To me not letting me have the option of paying my loan off through my bank account is a way for them to keep getting money.

    The interest rate was unbelievably high. For $2k+ worth of Loan, I am paying almost $400 interest every month. I regret that I applied for a title loan. Plus correct if me if I am wrong, there were hidden charges. I asked for a detailed payment history. I tried to compute everything what's on the papers but I can't get their computation. So I decided to pay off everything in 4 months. Guess what? When I computed my total payment against the actual loan amount I paid almost $1,400 interest in 4 months. It will never happen again.

No matter the form of communication (chat or phone), the representatives have been condescending and rude. They definitely have not been helpful, and have not made me feel like I made the right decision. Bottom line, read your contract and make sure you understand what you're getting into. I will knock this out as promised, but will never use this company again (nor do I recommend others use them).

    Everything went great with LoanMart. They sent me a letter so, I called. I had no idea it was gonna go through 'cause a lot of times they don't. So, I was really happy. Their people were very nice, just as sweet as they could be. I had no problems. However, it took a lot longer than I thought. But it was a lot of paperwork plus I don't have a computer. I had to go to my tax person and get everything faxed and emailed. I had to create an email for myself. And then, I didn't have one document. So, I had to go and get it and get it faxed to him. And a couple of them, I went ahead and just overnighted because I couldn't do any more faxing and couldn't do any more emails because of spending the money.

    But other than that, they were wonderful. I just wish I could have gotten a couple of $100 more. I still have to pay my taxman. I'm by myself. My husband passed away in '09. So, I've been trying to keep everything going and making the right choices. And with getting this loan, I hope I'm making the right choice. I needed the extra. And they gave me an amount 875 to 1500, so I don't know why they ended up giving me 9. That was a problem.
