LoanMart is a complete rip-off. I went to them for a title loan on my car because my parents both fell ill and I didn't have money to pay for their medical bills and medications. The rep gave to me, “Yes we can help you. All you would have to do is send the required paperwork.” I got a loan for 2,600. He then told me, “Your payments will be 288 a month.” I said, “Okay good. I can pay off in no time.” I needed the money desperately.
Then I get a bill saying I owe them 10,000 dollars in total. How did I get a loan for 2,600 that increases to 10,00 over a 1 yr spanned. I went to you guys because I was broke. I been paying my 288 on time since August 2016 and I still haven't touched the base of the 2,600. I owe 2,900 now. All that money I been struggling to pay has went nowhere. I WILL NEVER REFER THEM TO ANYONE. All they keep saying is pay more. I can’t pay more. If I could I would have never borrow from LoanMart in the first place. I'm a struggling college student working and taking care of my parents.

I am amazed at the outright audacity of (Predatory) LoanMart! Back in 2013, I had A VERY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE so with (Predatory) LoanMart. i.e. after making six payments owing $1800 more than the actual loan amount? (True!) Made phone arrangement to pay extra fee to extend a payment out for fifteen days. YUP! YOU GUESSED IT 0300 HRS IN MORNING. Repo truck with two of the worst slime bags ever. I tell them "Nope! Not taking it!" Guy takes the keys then calls the cops, & tells them I threatened to shoot him! I just now feel safe enough to tell this part now. They charged me every fee known to the TOW Industry! Plus a towing and "Dolley" fee?!! They drove the truck to the yard! Never even on the truck, or Dolley!!!
I filed a complaint with these guys... The (Predatory) LoanMart Hip, Slick, and Cool "Answer Guy" gives me the dripping, oooey goooey "oh it's a misunderstanding, we're just here to help the little guy" canned response! Bullcrap!! Now today nearly four years later, I get a message stating that The (predatory) LoanMart contacted this site, and told them I no longer wanted to resolve the complaint!!l AWTF? I NEVER SAID ANY SUCH THING! (Predatory) LoanMart has now straight up lied to this consumers site!! They must be trying to clean up their reputation!!! If they were a real estate lender, they would be in Federal Prison very stiff penalties. These guys are a reminder to all HUMANS afraid of thugs and loan Sharks.... Run like hell!!!

They lowered my interest and dropped my payments . Interest over 30% and my payments by 45.00 plus !!!
The staff was really friendly.

I had a title loan for about 2 years, it's for $3000. 2 years later, the loan is the same, the numbers don't go down. I think after doubling your payment they should let you out of the loan. That would be good business. $6000-$9000 at $244 per month, I should have been done with this loan. I can't even pay all of my rent every month. Also the engine went out in my car. I can't afford to fix it because of this loan. I think they should have a grace period for late payment, 10 days to be exact. I'm struggling every month. This is very depressing. Never again. By the way I borrowed money to fly to Oklahoma to see my daughter graduate from Basic Training. Army mom! Broke mom!!! Thanks LoanMart.

LoanMart's website is easy to navigate and the application process for a title loan was also easy. A rep called me after I completed the application online and the whole process took a day. My only suggestion would be for a better communication. I thought I would be able to get cash but when I got to the place, it was a check and there was a charge to cash the check. I asked about a charge and they said no. I explained it to him and he said okay but he was saying that they didn't tell him that they told me there was no charge. But luckily, it went through with no problem. Maybe in another situation, they should say, "Oh, no. You have to pay this fee."

Recently needed some quick money for a small procedure and I didn't want to wait to save up the money, so I started exploring options. Saw an ad for 800 LoanMart and gave them a ring. After getting together the docs they asked for, took about a day to get my money wired. Thankfully I had the procedure and now will pay down the loan. I spoke to a few agents along the way and they were all helpful.

Let me start off by saying LoanMart "stole my car". I never had a loan with them. They came on my property and took my car claiming I owed a loan. I am have a clean title "no liens" in my name. I was told from them the previous person that had the car before me took out a loan. Wt? I have a clean title from the DMV. That's impossible. I will be working with the BBB also. It's been 4 days and they haven't returned my car either. Please save yourself time with this company. They are frauds.

I will make this simple. I paid off my VW SUV with $15,000. It was a 2004. I later moved my family back to California from the East Coast and decided to take a loan with 1800 loan mart so that I may use the funds as business capital. LoanMart loaned me $6,900 and I paid $331.00 back monthly. 3 years later, after the loan was paid off, LoanMart tells me that I still owe another $6,900!! This company seems to be ran by gangsters. After paying them $12,000 plus dollars back and refusing to pay them anymore, they had a tow truck come to my house at 3 am in the morning and woke up my children and I.
They tricked me by saying that the sheriffs were coming and that I was breaking the law. I was over it, and gave them the keys because I just wasn't going to continue to be robbed of my hard earned money. LoanMart later charged me for a "Key fee", a Tow fee, a storage fee and they sent me a letter saying that I still owed them $8,000!! I truly don't see how these people sleep at night. Accept perhaps on their goose feathered pillows that others pay for through the outrages loans that we stupidly agreed to.

I do not I repeat do not recommend this company at all. I just got married last year in July and needed an emergency loan so I called over the phone to get one to cover the payment for my wedding. So here I am with this title loan that I now learned is increasing everyday! How the hell do they expect someone to pay off a loan that keeps adding the previous payment back to the original loan amount. I started at 5800 for my original loan amount... and now I'm at 7200 after I have made 6 payments of $525. One would think they were almost done paying off their balance. I wish I would have known about the illegal daily interest rates that they don't tell you about over the phone. That's the way I did mines smh.
If I would of known I would be this stressed out and manipulated by this company I would of just waited to get married but unfortunately it was a week later and we had a family financial emergency. This is the worst memory to have after a wedding year knowing that this company is practically stealing money from people with their rules you can't get out of. I'm seeking legal help so if anyone is willing to join me please contact me asap!!
Their rates aren't right and it doesn't make sense why a company would even operate this way. You should want people to come back not stay away. I bet most of their good reviews are from people who borrowed small loans because anyone with bigger loans wouldn't be on their website mentioning how happy they were... it doesn't make sense. I'm miserable and struggling because of this!

My vehicle was in a collision and totaled. The insurance did not cover the damage. I was a month behind on my loan and called to make a payment and request a settlement amount. I made the last month's payment and scheduled the current month payment. The payment was processed successfully and the 800loanmart rep said he would put in a request for a couple of options. 3 days later at 4am a tow truck removed the damaged vehicle from my driveway and repossessed it. How does repoing a vehicle officially registered as salvaged make any sense. Especially when I was caught up and looking for options to make LoanMart whole and satisfy the loan.
Deceitful and misleading practices by the collection team even after 3 years of on time payments. The original loan had been paid back 2x over and the vehicle is inoperable yet 800loanmart refuses to work with me and instead make false agreements for short term compliance. Never ever take out a title loan. You become chum in the bloody waters of Wall Street.

I called about paying off my loan faster. The guy said when I make a payment pay extra and tell the person to place the additional amount on my finance charge. I tried that a few times and the lady argued with me and said it doesn't work like that and she's been there a long time. I have paying on my loan for over two years and still have a balance of 14 hundred dollars off of my initial loan of 25 hundred. I don't understand how that's possible. I have been discouraged of paying extra for it doesn't change the loan finance amount. 5 dollars a day still after over two years of paying 249 dollars a month on time and extra. I have now paid six thousand dollars on my 25 hundred dollar loan.

I do believe they take a terrible advantage of people who are in an already compromising position to even need a loan like this in the first place. They are like the hogs who get slaughtered. I am trying to pay off a loan and they make it so inconvenient to do so. You are able to pay your monthly payments online on their website but if your payoff is more than double your monthly payment, you have to go into a Wells Fargo branch or one of these check cashing places. They also do not allow you to make a payment that is more than double your monthly payment on the website, even if you are not trying to pay it off, but want to make a dent in what you owe. I think this creates an unfair barrier to the poor people who have to work all day and do not have the time to go to a branch or go to a bank... and in the meantime, the interest increases. Why can we not do a payoff on the website? Thanks.

After receiving confirmation the document was received I received a msg from them and when I called the person told me to disregard the call. Instead I called the next day and requested to speak with the person who called me. He said he did not receive payment. I told him I completed the extension and gave the name of the person I emailed this to. He had no clue this was done said he would look into it but as long as I completed it then it was fine.
I come home. They towed my car smh. I cannot wait until they open in the morning. The employees do not communicate nor do they follow through. They never know what the other is doing. They took my 2011 Jeep and wrongly did so. They sent me an email and asked if I would like to extend a payment out and I agreed and sent the email back after receiving confirmation of this agreement. They took my car that evening. They waited till me and my family went into the store and then took it. We got a letter stating they were gonna sell the car at a auction and if we needed more time to send a letter which we did by certified mail. Since that time we have heard nothing. I have tried calling several times and they refuse to talk to me fine. No biggie. Don't talk to me. You will talk to our attorney.
I am sure they sold my car which it is what it is but the car value is much more than we owed so I want our check. You guys owe us money. We know you are going to try the we only sold your car for this crazy low amount. Sorry that's not gonna work either. Did I mention that I have statements that are all different amounts and crazy accounting that does not even add up correctly. When we figured this out is when we chose to get attorney. Bring it LoanMart. I am ready to fight back.
Updated 12/10/2016: I wrote a review on Loanmart few days ago. I had my car repoed. After they made a offer of lowering my payment and extending a payment out we signed the agreement and then they repossessed the car anyways. Then they disposed of car and they had sold it for almost 9 grand more that what we owed so we are due money from them. They said 15 days from sale and my husband noticed that at the bottom of this letter there is a paragraph stating that the surplus amount can change if they need to do debits or withdraws or if basically something arises... are you serious? So what that tells me you took my car ,sold it and made 8 grand more than I owed and if you choose to take more then that's ok and it's up to them to take more if they want to... who do these people think they are?
I have emailed the compliance department and guess what of course no reply. Loanmart you are holding money that does not belong to you. You have been paid now you are holding MY money and I want my money. I should be able to charge you high interest for each day you have my money. I am sure if it was me doing the same to you I would be in big trouble and every employee you have would be calling to threaten me. My loan is paid off with you people. Please send us the extra money that does not belong to you. Please I don't care about your generic response that you are gonna send. Every person gets the same response... "we have checked into this and have sent a detail letter by us mail... or please if you have further concerns contact the compliance department." I have done this several times with no reply.

This company preys on desperate people who are down on their luck. Unfortunately, I was one of those people. I knew that my APR was going to be 300%, but I wasn't aware that they charge you interest by the day. After paying for 1 year, nothing has kicked in into the principal and my original loan of $5,400 has racked up to $9,000+ thanks to interests. Yes, I have only myself to blame for taking out this outrageous loan, but their business model is just shady. Worst than a pimp. Lowdown dirty loan sharks, I tell you! Don't ever deal with 800Loanmart even if your life depended on it, unless you can pay them off in one fell swoop, otherwise you are better off borrowing from family and friends or a payday lender.

In 2013 my husband and I took a loan out from LoanMart for 4500. At that time the contract read payments for 36 months at $365.29 however it is now 2016 and LoanMart says I still owe them over $5,000. In reality in order to abide by the original contract I need to pay $625.14 but LoanMart says that I owe them 29 more months of payments which will make the payments $7,000. I read earlier that someone wanted to do a class-action against them. Well I totally agree with them. I would like to also be in on the class action lawsuit against them. I received a call today from a very nice lady asking me when they can come and pick up my car. I told her I am not surrendering my car. It is unfair of what LoanMart is doing. I spoke to a man a couple of days ago and he told me the extra money that they are trying to collect his own interest. I told him that is not fair. I think if we all Stand Together in this matter we can get a class action lawsuit against them.

This is predatory lending at its finest. I as well, was paying on a 2300.00 loan for two years and still owed 2300.00 at payoff time. They used every excuse in the book to give reason as to why this loan amount was not reduced. I am not going to waste time writing too much on this because it is plain and simple - they want your car and they are going to get it. Unless you do not want to ever hold title to your vehicle again I strongly urge you to do something else to fix your problem. You will never pay it off and you will be paying a large payment every month with a very large interest rate. The people that work there are ** and the customer service is the worst I have seen in a long time. GOOD LUCK.

I have paid $4000 in less than two years for a $1500 loan and my balance is $1455. LoanMart has you sign at a extraordinary interest rate which was against the law up until a few years ago. The use of the term "title loan" to get around the legal interest rates for cars allows them to circumvent the law. How, Who, and why did our State elected officials, as well as, Federal officials approve the biggest scam and rip off of consumers in the history of our country. The laws created to protect consumers were established at fair rates. LoanMart rates are over 5 times the legal limit for a car loan. How these gangsters were able to get this approved is beyond me. Clearly it had to involve some illegally paid money to a few of our elected officials. This has got to be stopped. The FBI and Treasury department needs to get involved and charge the politicians that approved these laws designed to undermine the Consumer protections put in place.
There are some legal issues which must be researched further: LoanMart uses agents to process the loans and in my case the agent failed to point out further information carefully hidden within the agreement as to future increases in rates if you are late. Their terms do not clearly define late payments. For example they say there is no penalty for early payments, but there is. Early payments are not reflected in the determination of a late payment. In other words if you make two payments in January which covers February and then do not make a payment in February you are penalized for being late in February which kicks in a large amount of late fees. By making your payment early they actually charge you more money because you will considered late even though you actually paid the payment 30 days early. You can borrow money from organized crime at a much lower rate.

These extortioners need to be shut down, their supervisor Wendy in collections need to placed in front of a firing squad! My cousin Regina got a loan from them when her sister died, not realizing what she got herself into, but she needed the extra help to bury her sister. "They bribed her (as they do) into the loan!" Anyway, Regina has severe heart failure and was having trouble paying back the loan because she is in the hospital all the time. Now today is September 10th, 2016. Regina's mother just died September 8th, 2016. I just called to ask for a 2 week extension via "Wendy" the supervisor in collections and the heartless daughter of the devil told me she has 3 days to make a payment or Regina's car is out for repossession and her mother's death is not as important as having to make a payment! Told me have a nice day, goodbye and hung up in my face.
I'm looking into how to file a class action lawsuit against these people and "Wendy!" Directly as a sole person. These people need to be shut down and held responsible for their crimes against humanity. They reel people in who need help, then prey on them and take advantage. Regina is not even "2 months" behind, her mom just died 2 days ago, it has been verified, Regina is in the hospital battling heart failure and Wendy laughed about it out loud, was blatantly rude the second she got on the phone with me. Luckily "I recorded her call!" I record every call with those animals. Everyone who has dealt with them needs to come together and file against them. You may just get some money back. These people are practicing "illegal services" and take advantage. They need to be banned from the US!
The FBI/Government needs to get involved and contact every single person who is dealing with them and help! PS. Regina only borrowed $2800 and has since been paid back. They are extorting her for the astronomical interest charges. Regina actually told me to take the car, have it crushed into a square cube and have it dropped on their front door. They can not do anything because they would "have the car in their possession!" LOL. Someone please help my cousin!!

In reference to 1800 LoanMart/Wheels Financial I had around 5 rollover loans with this company and I was determined to pay this 48-month loan off. Finally after many loan rollovers I was done. So on about 2015 I started to question 1800 LoanMart why after paying for almost 4 years why is my balance still at $9,200.00 and some change. I took out only two loans in 2012 and received only $500 both additional times. So on or about the end of 2012 November I had received a call from an agent from 1800 LoanMart saying "when you took out the loan for July the ** account they gave you the wrong loan number." I said "Ok. What do I need to do." They said "Nothing. We'll adjust this and send you a copy." Well I never received that copy and kept at them for it and they finally sent it in JANUARY 2016 and lo and behold those are not my signatures. I took the contracts to 3 different lawyers. They all said the same thing.
Now the contract number was ** and with amount owing at nine thousand dollars I did not sign for a 3rd loan for 2012. That would be absolutely not good and I would have never done this. These people took it upon their selves just because I had taken other loan rollovers they thought I would never know and I would be confused. Well I'm not and I know for a fact I did not sign a 3rd contract. They set this up big time and are committing consumer fraud greed and you know what they say about greed. I'm sure I was their scapegoat. They wanted to try this scam to see if they can get away with it. I have asked them for 2 years now to let me see the original copy that I signed. They never respond. You know why. They don't have one and they're scared of losing their business over one huge bad mistake. Come clean 1800 LoanMart. You know what you did. Just show me I signed this contract.
We are on to them and they send contradicting letters from their office by compliance but Attorney General and Business oversight are investigating those letters as we speak. They're contradicting their selves and they don't know what to say like a bunch of scared chickens. Well guess what. All the agency are on to your illegal business practice and I will be asking for this company's business license to be revoked. They know they screwed up by defrauding me with an illegal loan rollover. Guess what guys. I'm not stupid. Don't play me please and they sent copies of the forged contract and not even my finger print is genuine either. Wow. When they do produce an original it should match the forged copy they sent me and that is why they won't let me see the original cause there is no original and they're in a lot of trouble.
They just don't realize it yet but I'm going to make sure your business is shut down and 1800 Loan Mart deserve every bit of your license being revoked. Finally we may get the action against this company at last. You know why. They went too far absolutely and to think I trusted this business and if you have a similar thing going on please contact Attorney General. Complain or you can message me at **. They can charge all the fees they want. That's not the issue. You cannot forged a contract to mislead consumers. It's called consumer fraud and I will see that the court of law deals with this business asap so that no one else will become a victim of financial abuse in the matter of illegal loan rollovers. I have contacted the chamber of commerce and assessor's office and law enforcement with emails pertaining to their illegal business dealings in Encino California and what they did to me.
All they had to do was show me what I signed. Now we're forced to pull video I was in that store and my phone records because I have had my phone number for 10 years same number and all conversations that they called will be pulled. Not even California Check Cashing wants nothing to do with this business. They cut them off. Now they're having to resort to other places for business that are vulnerable to their schemes. You messed with the wrong consumer.

I have been very dissatisfied by this company and their robbery of people in need. Sometimes we all need some help and a title loan sounds like it might be the answer - well it could be if they were not so backhanded and deceitful. We all know we have to pay high interest - we get that but then to force people to pay additionally a fee to pay their payments that's just robbery. Go ahead and try to pay without an additional fee, good luck. They go into a payment location then the location charges a fee. Also if you want to pay a large portion at once they tell you "no you cannot pay more than 2 months payments plus $50 with your bankcard either online over the phone or even in person." None of this was told to you when you got the loan, you can only make such a payment in person with cash and yes there's still a fee to make your payment. These guys are crooks!!!

I did not have a choice in the matter to go to LoanMart. The company I started my title loan with transferred their accounts to LoanMart. Loan does have lower payments, but payoff date is dragged out longer than the original company. They did not even pay off the original owners of the title loan. We found out they were supposed to give us the check and we pay the original owners. They send the check through moneygram and I had problems cashing it because my information was wrong either on LoanMart, Moneygram or Walmart. Information was entered wrong so I could not cash the check at Wal-Mart. LoanMart charges additional fees for payments unless you give a bank account/routing number, stop at a payment center or check. When I gave them my numbers, they got it wrong and were convinced that it had insufficient funds.
I called the bank and asked about the funds. I had just enough to cover it. If I did have insufficient funds, the bank would charge an overdraft fee or let me know of insufficient funds. This was last month and the first time I paid them on April 8th. They took a few days for the money to come out of my account. They sent me an email about the funds on the 13th and by the 14th, I called them again and found they had the wrong account numbers. It finally went through.
I just paid them on May 6th by phone and they told me I owe $15 in addition to my monthly payment for last month because they thought insufficient funds. They never said anything about $15 additional when I paid on April 14th and the money was taken out. They told me now when I went to make the payment and said the supervisors will look into it. I have overdraft protection and have proof on my bank statements transactions that there was not any overdraft. The only other company that has my account numbers is the electric company because they also charge if not using a bank account. When I do not have enough money for electric in the account I get hit with an overdraft fee if there is not enough money in the account. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN HELP IT!!!

With my debit card but somehow they said I was behind, came and repo my car. I contacted them they said my payments were presented. But bank said they weren't. Basically they stole a very valuable car from me. Come to find out my car was one of a 1000 made in 1991. Found out it was a l1 z28 with first edition of the lt1 350 with the first gen. 4l60e transmission. The car was valued at over 35000. They auctioned it off and got 15000 out of it. I only owed (according to my bank 3000 left on it). They told me that the rest of the 15000 was fees so I didn't get a dime for my car.

My Loan charged off in early 2013, after I turned the vehicle into 1800loanmart. They auctioned off the vehicle and sent me a final charge off amount of $2678 in early 2013. I received a payment settlement request in August of 2015 for $1500. I subsequently received another payment request in Oct 2015 for $1800. As of today, they are reporting that I owe $7,710 as the interest is still being charged on a loan they have been "charged off". They are legally suppose to send me monthly statements if they choose to keep adding interest to my account, as of today, I have not received one statement in 3 years. They are doing everything possible to wreck my credit by inflating the amount owed to well over 300% of what the original loan was to show my credit utilization is too high. They already have my car, now they want to ruin my credit. They are predatory and overly punitive with high interest after the charge off.

1-800-LoanMart assists and allows criminals to operate. I am a victim of identity theft/fraud. 1-800-LoanMart gave out a title loan in my name against my vehicle without my knowledge. When this criminal didn't repay the loan, 1-800-LoanMart repossessed my vehicle, this is merely a form of grand theft auto. My first encounter with LoanMart was through their contracted repossession agent which basically strong-armed me for my vehicle. This thug showed up on my doorstep, with my car already hooked up, without proper paperwork, refused to give me his name, his company name or any other information. When I tried to make a phone call to the police or LoanMart to resolve this, he said "I will only be here for 2 minutes, either get your stuff or I will just take the car now!"
I dove into my glove box to retrieve my lien-free title. When showing him this, he grabbed it from my hands and refused to return it. He also snatched my keys out of my hand, trying to take the whole key ring, and drove feverishly away. I called LoanMart to try to get any information, thinking that this was some sort of paperwork error, only to hear that no information could be given at that time. After calling the police and filing a report and obtaining legal counsel, only then would LoanMart tell me that if I were to pay the fraudulent loan, only then I could get my car back.
I have spent countless hours, days upon days dealing with 1-800-LoanMart's dubious and incompetent employees and supervisors which all gave me false and conflicting information to send me on a wild goose chase while they auction off my vehicle fraudulently. On their website they speak of integrity and customer service, in which I have found to be completely inaccurate and false advertising. They were able to give out a title loan to a criminal OVER THE PHONE!!! Companies that operate so unscrupulously should be held accountable for their actions, especially when preying on law abiding citizens.

Loanmart aka 800loanmart. I took a Title Loan with Loanmart. I was told at the time that I would be able to Pay Off the loan at any time by sending a message or requesting a discounted payoff total from anyone at anytime. I spent September through December 2015 asking for a payoff. At one point I was promised a discounted payoff from a manager within 24 hours which never happened. To get their attention I let the account go past due, Nothing. They instead blocked access to me on their website so I couldn't PAY.
I tricked a Chat Support staff to helping me print out a Total Account Balance Due on Dec 22 and then asked her to Take Payment on the spot. SHE REFUSED!!! I sent a check and sent them the tracking number of the Certified Mail. As of now several weeks later, they have NOT released my title, and have not addressed the issue. They wanted me to talk on the phone and I told them I would only communicate in writing so I have a record of what is said as they have lied to me over and over every time I speak to them on the phone. They never responded by email.
So everyone know and is clear, LoanMart, 800LoanMart are fronts for Wheels Financing Group LLC, who also owns other front companies. Their business model is to take your car charge 120% interest ONLY payments and force your loan into default so they can repossess your car and sell it. That is, they recoup the loan balance from the excessive interest only payments upfront then repossess and sell your car or charge fees on top of fees on top of more fees to get your car back.
There is a long record of complaints and even letters of Cease and Desist from the Department of Business Oversight for their FRAUDULENT and MISLEADING practices. There is another group of LoanMart customers filling a class action lawsuit for FRAUDULENT practices. Do NOT do business with them. Your bank can give your a limited credit loan with your title as collateral. I have PAID what the account total showed on Dec 22 2015 and they still have not released my title orreported my loan paid in full.

I took out a loan for $4000.00 against my 2010 Ford Explorer that was obviously worth double that amount with a payment of $340.00 a month. I did this in November of 2014. The balance on the loan is now more than what it originally was and not to mention I only actually walked out of there with $3600.00 of that money due to their ** fees and everything.

800LoanMart is a typical predatory title lender and should be prosecuted. Their practice is providing the financially burdened consumer by misleading them to enter a "short-term loan" which results in a cycle of long-term, high-cost debt with high annual interest rates of 100% or more. I have made consistent monthly payments on a 'short-term loan' for 3 years and still have a balance equivalent to my original loan. You will never catch up when you are being charged $10+ dollars a day in interest. Even though you make consistent 'monthly' payments. At the time of my loan it was 800loanmart. The rep I spoke with was so helpful. They would bend over backwards to get your business. I was able to get a $3500 loan because I was behind on rent and other bills. I was able to catch up, but I had to pay $327 per month to pay on the loan. I had never had a car payment so to me that was like a car payment. If you miss payments you get your car taken. So almost every month I was at risk of losing my car or getting kicked out of my house. It was a bad situation that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy if I had any. LoanMart did try to work with me at times, but sometimes I got a hold of some nasty reps. Getting a loan with them is like making a deal with the devil!! I beg you... don't do it!
I would rather beg on street than go back to them or any other loan or check company. It ought to be against the law for these companies to operate the way they do! They know people are going to fall behind on payments. That's why they only target certain demographics. They damn near poor. Again, please don't do it. You will pretty much be signing your life away!
When I was finally able to pay them off a lump sum of $1200, I walked out of the payment center with a huge smile on my face because I finally got rid of that burden! They had the audacity to call me the very next day to tell me of some loan special! I told them to take me off their lists and I hung up the phone! This was two years ago and they still send me stuff in the mail and I have moved two times since then, but they found me. Again, Don't do it! I hope this post saves somebody!

I was just checking on title loans and called the wrong number but LoanMart said they could help me better than anyone else. First off the truck was in my boyfriend and my name. I told LoanMart that and that he had no income to qualify and I am on a set income. That I didn't want his name off the truck as his dad gave it to him, which he was aware I was doing. I submitted my documents and approved right away. I was contacted where to pick up check. When I arrived I was shoved papers under a window, told to sign where they x. I asked about my boyfriend needing to sign as didn't want his name removed from title. They told me he didn't have to do anything that his name would be on title still. I never got to read anything.
Long story short within a few months they repo the truck, said I would have to pay 4500 to get it back on a 3000 loan then told if I paid 3200. Then if I paid two installments of 1500. My thing is there was no way of doing that. Also when my boyfriend read the papers he flipped on the interest and he contacted them but they wouldn't talk to him, said he was no longer on truck. Now it's been about 6 months and we just received DMV renewal for the truck. They repoed and auctioned off, also billing me now over 5000. Should they have notified DMV? Also was it illegal for loaning without his signature?

I fell a month behind and asked if LoanMart can put the payment behind the loan amount and they refused. It's been very difficult to play catch up and they advised me that there was an $8 fee per day for everyday the account is late. We continued to make payments and as of today, July 11th, 2015, we owe a whopping $2923.94. If I pay this amount off, I would have paid around $9847.00.
I am frustrated and very sad that companies like LoanMart can do this to people who are simply trying to get by. I don't want to lose my car and I really need help in trying to understand how this can be legal. Please help.

I called to ask for payoff and gentleman said it was too late. My account was sent to collections department and car was being reposed. He said they need to know where car was to pick it up.
I finally got a hold of another customer service person and she gave me an outrageous amount. I am paying that amount Friday but LoanMart.com needs to be investigated. Mortgage companies have gotten investigated and fraudulent activity was found. LoanMart has numerous complaints and Oscar Rodriguez, chief operating officer of Encino's 1-800LoanMart needs to make sure his employee's calculations are legal and right if he wants good reviews and keep his business out of the media with complaints. I was desperate for a loan this past December when I had thought to get a title loan. I had paid off a loan with Title Maxx just months prior and was satisfied with the experience. This time I contacted Loanmart and getting the loan was easy. My first payment due date was January 5 and I explained in December that the due date wouldn't work because my rent was due that paycheck. The rep I spoke with recommended I just authorize the payment and see if my bank would honor it. I did and as I knew it would it was returned.
On the 15th I was contacted for NSF and I told the rep I knew that I've been trying to change my payment due date since December because I knew the 5th wouldn't work. I told her I was paid on the 23rd and I could call in and make full payment plus interest and she said she would notate the account. I haven't been called since and this morning January 21st. I walked out to my car with my children to take them to school and the car was gone. I called in immediately and had to wait an hour until the repo dept. was in to ask them why they didn't honor my payment arrangement. The woman said nothing is guaranteed until they have payment. I told her that if I was told that the 23rd arrangement couldn't be honored, I could have done more to come up with payment.
I felt secure knowing the rep had notated the account of my arrangement. Now I'm responsible for over 400 in repo fees plus 25 a day storage plus 50 for them removing my personal belongings from my car and the past due payment. So in other words as a single mom who only makes 400 biweekly and they know that because they had to verify my income. They lied about our arrangement to take the car which I can't get back because I don't have that kind of money. Don't trust them. I only asked for a 2 week arrangement and they had to lie to take the car. Crooks.

Me and my wife needed money to fix 3 of our cars and I had time off to do so. So I told my wife, "let's get a loan to fix them and I could pay it off in about a year." We kept hearing the commercials about loan mart. We went in and got approved for the loan. We took out 5k. The lady was very nice but did not tell me much about the hidden charges. The hidden charges was they took out 500 dollars before you start the loan. So the loan I was getting was 4500. Then they charged us 19 dollars per day till I made the payment for that month. Then their annual interest rate was over 100%. Now I know why they play the commercials all the time, it's because it's the massive interest they are charging us customers that pay for it. The lady was very convincing that this was the lowest rate loan that was out there. That is their goal to be all nice to you up front to get you into the contract then they harass you till you pay it off. Then they call you on the day before the payment is due asking for a credit card to pay it. I said to them, "Stop calling me. The payment is due tomorrow."
Let's do the math here. So after a year of borrowing 5k and made my payments on time, about 450 every month we paid off 300 of only the principal and still owed them 4700 from the principal. It's frustrating when you paid about 5100 to loan mart and only paid off 300 to principal and the rest was interest. For the full term I would have boover dramatized, she has an attitude to start with, that's a lot of the reason she gets the cat callers, owed 5k, no I mean 4500, cant forget they take 500 right away, and would have paid them 16,000. That's more than 3 times the loan. Now to all these people that put good reviews, how is that a great company and great customer service. Those people must be the employees of loan mart to make themselves look good. The bad reviews will always be much larger than the good ones.
Ok my advice to everyone including the ones stuck in this loan with loan mart. If you did not take the full amount of the car value go to a credit union. We went to arrowhead credit union. We did not bank there and you don't have to. They bought out the loan from loanmart. Our monthly payments went from 450 to 109 per month. Interest was only 2% no daily fee and. It was fixed. It would take us about 3 year to pay it off. And the total interest would be 200. Me and my wife will continue to pay 450 paying the same as loan mart would have, remember our payment was only 109 and get it paid off in about 5 months. Going that route save us thousands. So i recommend that. And yes I was so happy once I paid it off I was going to take 3k out to get my classic going. If you ever need a title loan or need someone to buy it, go to a credit union instead of rip off corner of the street tittle loans.

My daughter had a very bad experience with LoanMart! She took out a $5000 loan on her car. She was not able to make her first payment due to an emergency hospitalization. Her car was repossessed within a week. Once repossessed, we were never notified - thought the car was stolen. California law states that the owner has to be notified within 48 hours. Long story short, had to pay $6700 to get the car back. Then, once we asked what the payoff was, we were misinformed and told to mail in a check. We did that and no response from LoanMart for several days. My daughter called and we were told that a check wouldn't do, it had to be moneygramed. So we did that but by the time we called, the payoff amount increased by $150 because THEY gave us misinformation.
It doesn't stop there. After the account was closed, we had an extremely difficult time getting the car release sent to the tow place. We faxed a power of attorney as requested for me to get the car because my daughter was still hospitalized. Very rude agents!! I had to call greater than 10 times to get that one issue resolved. These are criminals who prey on desperate people. So easy to get the loan but they will steal your car at the first chance they get. They are heartless and don't care what the circumstances are. I have a title loan out. We just did a due date change from the 27th of each month till the 12th of each month. Here's where the real problem started. On Sept 12th when I called in to make payment, I was told to hold on. While the rep read my file he came back and said, "okay you just did a due date change" and said "you can make that payment now but your payment isn't due until Oct 12". That's when I told him I would just wait then. So I few days later phone calls start coming in stating my payment is late. I explained everything to the rep and asked for a manager to call me back. No one called me until today. A regular rep called me once again telling me my payment was late and said the records show that a manager called me on the 19th. Not true, someone is putting in false info. If a manager would have called I would have known. I have my cell phone with me 24/7 and no message was left and if so why hasn't that manager tried to get in touch with me again.
If I had the money to pay I would, but since I was told back on Sept 12th when I tried to make a payment that my payment wasn't due until Oct 12th we used that allotted money to pay other bills. I'm on a fixed income. This problem all started with the bad info I got on Sept 12th from a Money Mart rep. I'm not asking for the payment to be erased, I'm asking if you could please defer this payment to the end of my contract. I am getting absolutely no help from 800loanmart.

Cool thing about them was they let me settle my account for the amount borrowed - thank God!! I would have to say I'm one of the lucky ones to have this loan out of my life! Stress free is the way to be!!!! I recommend to people when I hear them say I'm going to get a title loan, to stay clear of them because at the end of the day the loan company always wins.
Yeah cool you get a couple $'s in your pocket to pay a bill. Really @ the end of the day the money you borrowed is spent and you are back to where you started. With an even higher bill and crazy interest payments! I JUST RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WANTING A TITLE LOAN "DON'T DO IT"!!! It's really not worth the risk of losing your car. I mean that's how people survive - it’s their car. So as soon as you don't pay or don't have the funds, 30 days - it's gone! "Your car that is" but anyway I do respect LoanMart for letting me Settle my debt and thank you for that!! But if you have the funds available for what you borrowed. Review your car, see what it's worth at auction and pretend like you were the loan company and calculate the numbers to see if they would lose $$ on your vehicle or make $$ and if they would make money, then they probably won't accept your settlement offer. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE ON THIS PAGE WITH A LOAN....

I was out on disability in 2012 and I really really needed to make repairs on my car. I started the loan app but never did hit the submit button. 5 mins later some one from loan mart called me back. I ended up going to USA checks cashed to complete the app. Very lengthy process... I did get my money and I was late one time after Christmas. I had a really good account rep and she just added it to the next payment and I had them take the money out of my checking account. Easy peasy and she didn't make a big fuss about it either... Now, I did have a run in over the phone with a very rude customer service rep there that take took her job a little bit too seriously .. I don't like to call into places because, I am in the same field of work, customer service so.... The day I paid off the loan in January 2014 I had THE RUDEST chick on the phone it was almost like she was mad because I was able to pay it off instead of having to make the rest of the payments on the loan every month.
They were there when I needed them but no more title loans for me. After I paid the loan off they started calling me to see if I wanted to take out another loan and I told them,"take my number out of your data base... You're paid off and I'm done with your company." Before you sign those papers think about high the interest is going to be and.. If you miss a payment are they gonna try and take your car and then you can't get to work? Then you're really stuck!

Sent me letter and not much I can do but play a game of he said she said, but they replied to my complaint informing me about my damage claim would be. I am assuming about when a repo company by the name of empire repo in san bernardino ca on june the 5th 2014 at 3:00am, their driver damaged vehicle sheriff dept came and told driver he was at fault deputy is trained for exactly this scenario.
I hope this could be resolved but 800loanmart told me as soon as they opened that day "we have nothing to do with empire repo and they don't work for them we do not hand them a check from our hands to there's they have nothing to do with them ".

I received a loan from 1800loanmart. Was late and my vehicle was repoed. No problem. Paid Western Union to 1800loanmart to get car from tow yard that did repo but at tow yard my car is not there, has been taken to a Manheim auto actions. Ride bus from Hemet, CA to Fontana, walk 4 miles to Manheim. Wait hours to get my car then have missing car parts from inside my car and I am told I can't take my car without filing a complaint with tow company, A&J Recovery out of Riverside yet located in Hemet Yard Manheim. Said I would be filing a complaint against them because I was missing when they got it and when I told A&J towing they said was not.

I agree that this company is a "legal loan shark" of a company, but their contract warns us clearly and we either are very desperate (as most of us are) or don't read the fine print. I knew of the negative drawbacks, but gambled and lost my job so I couldn't pay off this loan ASAP as planned. Now I am stuck. Their customer service become very unprofessional and aggressive when you seek help or an extension. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE!

Very nice and honest. This was a legit company and I have heard bad reviews, but they are not true. Also their interest rate was lower then the previous loan I had with a different company. They bought out my loan and worked with me and helped me get the funds I needed. Yeah!!!

Over the phone customer service was good. They only told me my interest rate was 11.5% per month not 139% annual. When I went to pick up the money at California Check Cash the woman was very rude and told me she couldn't answer any questions regarding my loan. So expect to sign for stuff you have no idea about. They didn't tell me they would be taking my pink slip either. I only wanted $1,000 and they could only give me $2,500. So in one month, it will cost me $500. I don't recommend this at all. Pawn shop is the way to go, and make sure you file with the DMV because all you do is sign your pink slip.

My husband and I unfortunately were desperate and needed money. My husband decided to give these people a call and the nightmare began. We were told we had to borrow the minimal amount of $2,600 and as a result the payback amount with over 200% interest rate was over $10,000! LoanMart insists the vehicle is worth at least that much or more. The problem with this is instead of helping people who need their services, LoanMart takes advantage of them. I too would like to bring a lawsuit against these loan sharks because what they are doing has to be illegal. LoanMart only adds to the problem of debt for those who need its services.
I advise anyone who is considering using their services to NOT! Customer service is rude and brags about the 200% plus interest rates. I will do whatever I can to ensure people do not use their services. I am hoping enough people will complain and put them out of business. They are criminals!

This company is the worst of the worst. They prey on people who are desperate. Once you take the bait and accept the loan, you are in deep trouble. What kind of company can charge interest rates this high and say they are helping people? They are basically loan sharking and need to be shut down. Someone needs to start a class action lawsuit. You can count on it that I will be on board.

After I applied at an Ace Express for the 1800LoanMart, in about an hour later I got a call from 1800LoanMart and talked with the representative. I was told by her that I just got the car and was making payments on it. She told me that I was approved over a loan of $6642 and told me the documents that I needed bring to them or I could bring it to Ace Express where I had applied for the loan. So I started to make arrangements to pay on the things that I was getting for the loan. I WAS SO EXCITED!!!
I was going to get what I needed done with the loan. When I called 1800LoanMart about one of the documents she told me I need which was a copy of the title. When come to find out that the rep I talked with on Sunday (1/9/14) has make a MAJOR ERROR. When I told her that I was "making payments" it should have make her think about my situation and tell me right then I didn't qualify for the loan. But she proceed to get me setup to get the loan. When I called 1800LoanMart they said my loan was still being done by them but come to find out after talking to a supervisor that they would not be able to do the loan after all. WOW! All I got was "we are sorry"! That of course was so very useless to me.
I highly recommend that you: DO NOT; I REPEAT, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH 1800LOANMART IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM!!! Only Kimberly who I talk with at 1800LoanMart on my first today (Monday 1/20/14) was helpful to me. She told me that she was "sorry" that this happened. Again that did me no good AT ALL! I know this is a long review but I wanted people to know about that 1800LoanMart is NOT the kind of people that you want to do business with. I hope this helps save others from the grief that I was put through by 1800LoanMart!

I should have known to run before I got the loan, the agents you speak to over the phone forget to tell you documentation is required and tell you everything is okay and good to go. After hours and hours of nothing you're told, oh yeah, you need this or that. This last incident takes the cake. On December 24, I received a phone call from a Silver ** requesting my past due payment and I told her my situation of why my payment had not been received, which is when I signed up for the loan I was receiving disability payments that totaled almost $800 monthly but that out of nowhere one day, those payments were stopped and I did not find out why until a week later. It was because funds had been exhausted and since this had happened I had been living off General Relief which is only $198 monthly and financial aid.
I haven't even been able to afford hygiene products and all my money has been going to this loan and the car insurance and since now that school is on break, I don't have the financial aid until Mid-February and Silver ** offered putting the payment off to January. But then her supervisor said no because if I wasn't able to pay December then how would I pay January. So I told Silver they could just come and get the car and I am sent a Voluntary surrender form to fill out. But then I start thinking what sense is it to surrender the vehicle if I am still going to be charged daily until they sell the vehicle and storage fees and repossession fees and whatever they did not get when they sell the car.
I speak to my co-signer and they agree to pay January so I call and let Silver know this and she had an attitude then. She said so now you want to make an arrangement. It was her tone that was rude but I overlooked it being that I am the one that is late with her payment. So after explaining to Silver how January would get paid, she spoke to her supervisor and it was agreed that December's payment would be deferred and that the necessary papers would be emailed to me. I checked and checked my email all that day and all Christmas day and nothing, no email from Silver with the documentation for the payment deferral.
So on December 26, I call 800loanmart and no one comes to the phone after several attempts. So I go online and chat with an online agent and I explain to them the situation and the paperwork is emailed to me. I signed it and faxed it along with the disability final payment later and I thought all was well until tonight January 3, 2014 at 5:13pm. And the call lasted 31 seconds, I get a call and I said hello and the caller asked, "Can I speak to Sierra **," and I said, "This is Sierra **, how can I help you?" The caller said, "This is 800loanmart and we need a payment," but as with Silver **, it is her unprofessional tone and very tasteless demeanor and I tell her I spoke with a Silver ** and faxed over the necessary paperwork so I don't know why you guys are calling me. She says something else (I can't remember, was so thrown off by her tone) and I tell her the next time a call is made to me make sure it is someone who is professional.
The agent yells, "Pay your loan," and and the call got disconnected and when I called back to complain, I tried several times with no help. After calling back again, I get no other than Silver ** and I am telling her what is going on and she says to me, "Now moving forward, what are you going to do about your bill?" And I told her, "No, not moving forward, moving backwards. This lady called my phone and was rude to me." She said, "Well what do you want to do about it," and I said I would like to speak and before I could finish my sentence she just put me back on hold. After holding for a while a lead agent named Nick came on the line and apologizes for the ways of the agents and after all this the problem was that they never received my payment deferment paperwork. The rude agent that called my phone the first time could have said this.
This company is nowhere near professional and even though this agent Nick apologized for the rude behavior of the other agents I believe that these agents behave this way all the time and it's no big deal to the company. Please know that every month this company gets their money even at the cost of me not having any of my needs met. This would be the first time this has happened and I really don't have it and I am putting pennies together to make sure they get their money, I don't even have the money to put gas in the car to drive the damn thing but I make sure they get their money just this one month I am doing really bad and to let their agents call and talk to me any kind of way. People reading this, don't do business with them, if you need the money that bad, please find another way. This loan is the biggest burden ever. The agents really make you want to go there with them and I was so ready to tell these two agents you have my address bring it on, they're just so ill-mannered.
So day number 2 with these clowns. I was told last night by Nick that I could still fax over the loan deferral payment documentation since it was never received the first time. This was on January 3, 2014 but the next day which is today January 4, 2014 I get online and request that the document that need to be signed by me if they could be faxed instead of emailed because I did not currently have access to a printer. By the time I would be able to access one it would be later on in the day (waiting to use the library's printer) but was told to contact the agents by phone. I was given their fax number to fax the documentation.
The agent did not get it that I needed documents sent to me. So I call the company over the phone and the lady tells me I am no longer offered that option and that is that (reminded me of when I first tried to get a loan with them and a lady told me "your car doesn't qualify, you can't get a loan" and to only have a agent call me a week later asking me was I still interested in a loan) so I hang up and call back and ask to speak to a supervisor and am helped by a nice young man who tells me of course and tells me he is going to transfer me and to ask for a man named Lester **. I was so happy to get help so I waited and waited and waited and waited to only get a general voicemail system after all that waiting.
I call and I call and I finally get another man on the phone who says "I am going to go behind my supervisor's back and fax you the documents" and even asks me when would I like him to send them. I tell him right now would be fine and I give him the number. He agreed and said "ok ma'am, I am going to send them right now" and that was almost 2 hours ago and still no fax. These people are heartless. They want to be able to take your car. I am not driving the car anyways so it makes me no big difference aside from me wanting to pay my bill I have with them. But because of all of this they have made me do my homework and get solid advice from a lawyer and I am glad I know my rights when it comes to them and my property and them coming on my property and how to deal.
If I wasn't so determined to pay what I owe them I would have them come get this car because dealing with them is like talking to a newborn baby and to be real a newborn understands more than these people. You explain things to them and they act like you're speaking Chinese instead of English and they send you emails and tell you to email it back to yourself and they can't spell worth a penny. It is crazy. Again anyone reading this read my other post under the name Sierra from Los Angeles and take heed and run from these people. I know times get hard but if I had knew that these people were unprofessional, immature, senseless jerks I would have rather be hungry with nothing than to do business with this so called company.
There is no need for them to respond and tell you guys that they strive to provide excellent customer service and that they have mailed me a letter in response to my post. It is all mess. They will mail a response that is either extremely rude or very generic and do nothing to the rude and unprofessional agents they have working for them. It is plain and clear to see if there are numerous agents providing the behavior these same agents know there will be no reprimand for their behavior. It's not just one or two. It is several agents that have been either rude, gives wrong information, puts you on hold and does not come back to the phone, says they are going to do something and they do not. Run.

I've been a customer for 6 months making payments within the "10-Day Grace Period", without a problem, I even recommended this company to a close friend. Recently, received a letter stating that I was eligible for additional funds, so I signed the revised contract and received the funds. To my shock and embarrassment, they called me at work TWO WEEKS BEFORE the due date for payment arrangements. That should have been a huge red flag, but I let it go. I received a payment demand phone call the day after the due date, the rep stated that "she couldn't guarantee anything" if didn't give her my banking info over the phone. I told her I didn't respond well to idle threats and she back-pedaled shortly after. I gave her a promise to pay within 5 days, so far I've received a call everyday, with each rep saying that the prior person "forgot" to put in my promise to pay info.
Apparently, once you sign a revised contract, your account/customer history goes out the window and you are treated poorly if things go wrong. If I would have known that this was the consequence of receiving this small additional amount, I would have declined it immediately. My objective is pay my account down ASAP and never recommend or do business with this company again.

Well, this was my second time using them as the first time went good. I knew what I was getting myself into and paid on account for about a year then paid it off. Was happy to see it had affected my credit report in a positive way as my credit was bad when I started it FICA 495, and couldn’t get a loan anywhere else. Shortly after paying it off, I ran into another snag, had to pay off a loan on a house I was selling that had to be done within a week to complete the deal so I called them again to get a 5000 loan. Was planning on paying off when sold the house but then elected to keep paying to build up credit more and continued to pay my payment was 428 months. After 5 months, I wanted to make big payment chunks to slowly actually pay it off but found that I can only pay 800 month tops. That’s all they would allow.
They did say I could send in a moneygram and seemed like a long process to give them more than they were allowing so I just keep paying online and would send in a couple hundred extra every month till I realized that none of it was going to principal, all towards interest on months ahead. I was like wow… So after 14 payments, I still owed 5083. So I said enough. My credit score now had gotten up to 680 and decided to go to my credit union to pay off this loan. So when my next payment was due, I was in the process so I didn’t make the payment. When the lady called, I informed her that I was gonna pay off loan which by that time was about 7 days late. She told me I should make another payment and I said, “Why? If I’m paying off the loan, can’t you just wait for payoff, which was a Fri.?” She then started the mild threats of where’s the car, does it run, are we able to get to it, etc. and I was like really? When I told her it was in storage, she got really rude and wanted to know why it’s in storage, etc. I was blown away by how rude she had become.
In the end of that conversation, she said she would check with me on following Wed and I assured her that if loan wasn’t done, I’d just make another payment. But of course, she couldn’t wait till Wed. She called Tuesday (and I did find out my loan was gonna be another week so I said oh well I’m just gonna have to do another payment). So as I was making my payment, she called at same time... and before I could even say anything, she was down my throat with the threats. I told her that threats aren’t gonna get her anywhere with me and she continued. When she paused finally, I said, “If you would have taken the time to ask, I could have told you I just made the payment.” That wasn’t good enough, she wasn’t done. Wanted to keep going, I finally hung up on her. Now keep in mind payment has already been made… so because I hung up on her, she then proceeded to call all references and harass them on an account that was current. Just in spite very unprofessional. I’m just glad I paying this account off. I will never use them again. After using them twice for total of 25 months worth of payments on time, this is how they treat you in the end.

I just got a loan from Loan Mart. When I talked to the underwriter to find out about the loan, I asked if the loan accrues interest on a daily basis. He indicated no. I asked, “Are you sure? Because I had a loan like this before and it took forever to get the principle down.” He assured me and gave me an example which I have a text message that indicates $308.00 will go towards the interest monthly and the balance to my principle. Well I have talked to two customer service reps and have been advised the loan accrues interest on a daily basis.
When I asked him about it, I was told there are new employees at the company and they don't know how it works. I was misled about how the loan really works and I am going to report this to Consumer Affairs as this was an untruth. I sent an email to the representative but yet to get a response back from him. I am going to pay this loan off as fast as I can. I would not recommend anyone to get a simple interest loan like this. I went by what the representative that I did the business with to get the loan told me. I asked several times if it accrued daily interest and was told no in front of my mother on the phone.
Thank you for allowing 800LoanMart to review and respond to the consumer’s concerns. The first page of the Promissory Note and Security Agreement signed by our consumers clearly states that this is a simple interest loan, which means that interest will accrue on a daily basis. The agreement further states that payments will be applied first to the unpaid interest and then to the principal. Furthermore, located above the signature of the consumer, it is clearly indicated that this is a high cost loan. We would like to assure all our consumers that our representatives are provided proper training regarding the process of 800Loanmart loans. We encourage our consumers to make their payments early, often and more than the minimum amount in order to avoid excessive finance charges. Should the consumer have further questions regarding her account, we kindly ask that she contact our customer service department at 800-670-0668 at her earliest convenience.

I was not giving detail or enough information. After only wanting to borrow $1000, I decided to go ahead and do a $3000 loan, giving the info I needed. It stated that some of the stuff needed could be waived or can be worked out. "Don't be discouraged." I didn't have insurance so I thought they can work with me. So no they couldn't. I was told the title didn't have to be under my name but that some signatures were going to be needed. False. I was told to go and get it under my name in order to proceed. After fees on that, came out to $85, unnecessary. Then I was told to get insurance or we can not process the loan... another $200. Then gas from going across town, $50. I asked for at least $2,000 and simply was told no. The whole point is I need money not be spending more money. So I had no choice but to accept the $1,500 minimum... All because I wasn't told that because of my vehicle being salvage/restored. Should have said that from the get go. Very bummed out after all the run around.
Thank you for allowing 800LoanMart to review and respond to the consumers concerns. Although 800LoanMart allows some stipulations to be waived, i.e. Proof of Residence, we are unable to waive some requirements. Since this is a title loan we are required to obtain the necessary documentation for title. Furthermore, the state of California requires that title loans to consumers be no less than the amount of $2, 500. We sincerely apologize for any misunderstandings. After applying with another company, we were unable to go to Doc's because I didn't have a bank statement with my address...BOA put my wrong address. I showed correction to the other company and they told me I would have to wait for BOA correction. I called LoanMart, spoke to Biola...what a gem, she is a keeper :) 30 minutes later, spoke to Justin. Emailed all my documents that I sent the other company...Justin wanted me to sign documents by 7pm, just 1 hour after approval. I was unable to because I told Justin I will be at church. Justin is a professional of the highest standards, great to work with. The next morning, I get a call from Karina, Quality Control, tell me everything is in order and my money is ready. Word of mouth is the very best advertisement a company can receive. Why? Because it cost nothing but giving the customer great service...That is what I received from LoanMart.

In the beginning I was skeptical because I am not the kind of person who doesn't get loans. But my family and I were in dire need. I heard about Loanmart and did a little research (should have done a better search) since my husband and I saw that they were accredited and approved by Consumer Affairs we decided to trust them. When we spoke to someone she was kind and understanding of our need. She did whatever possible to get us that loan. It took about a week or so to actually receive the loan so she had plenty of time to really explain this loan to us. What frustrates me is that she never ever told us that the interest would be so much. The loan was $3519 and she said that if we pay $319/month we will be done paying this off in a year. It's been over a year and now we owe Loanmart $4575! :o I admit I'm a dummy and a noob to have fallen for their sneaky ways of sales but DANG!!!! This sucks so bad.
Now we are are in a bigger hole. This whole time I was paying them is/was all going to their pockets and none toward my loan. All they tell me is to look over my contract and that this was intended to be a short term loan..... Ok I get that but why didn't the first lady I talked to tell me all the important information in the week or so. I guess I should have read my 30 page loan while I was getting the loan. Dummy me put my trust in the lady who helped me in the beginning.
Loanmart legitimately scams people. They take advantage of those who are in need. Like seriously it's a recession and these people just found a lawful way to people's money. I just gotta find a way to just pay my loan off and move on with my life. Their customer service is just doing job and doing what they are told.... My complaint is to the smart con artist who developed this loan and contract. NOTE: Don't do business with Loanmart..... It's not worth the headaches... I literally feel emotionally distressed and discourage because of them.

I have had 4 or 5 loans from Loanmart in the last 3 yrs or so and all have gone smoothly and without incident with the exception of the most recent loan event which "began" a week ago Friday, that would have been the 2nd of Aug. That morning I called Loanmart, was granted a loan of $1500 was notified via e-mail that the funds were waiting for pick up by me at Check Cashiers of Southern Calif. on Mission Ave. in Oceanside, CA. I wasn't expecting to be notified until the next day so I committed myself to some people to perform a service with my truck. Therefore was unable to get to Cashiers of Southern CA that evening before they closed. I assumed that I could go the next day sometime before they closed and pick up the funds. I also called Check Cashiers to check on the hrs they were open, it was Saturday. I was told that they closed at 5 PM.
When I arrived the following day I gave her my name and said I was there to pick up funds from Loanmart and she informed me that they no longer had the contract and that the contract had to be picked up the day it was sent to USA Checking. I was unaware of this. On Monday the 5th I called Loanmart and the funds were set up for pickup. To make sure the funds were there I called USA Checks to confirm that and to check on their closing time which was 7PM. I arrived at 6:15 PM only to be told that the funds could not be released after 6PM!! The next day I had to call Loanmart one more time to get this situation squared away. Tues I was able to pick up the funds. Also I was not made aware of my "payment day" of the month, the 6th, until I was in the process of signing the various copies of the contract at USA Checks. It is this issue that concerns me the most.
My last loan my monthly payment day was the 19th, and I went to great lengths negotiating with Loanmart to have the 19th specifically as my payment day. For this reason, I received my SS on the first Wednesday after the 15th of the month, which means for the month of Sept I am paid on Wednesday the 18th. I request that my payment day be changed to the 19th of the month as before, please. It would have been nice to have been aware of these things ahead of time so that I could have responded appropriately. As I think about these situations I would imagine that not picking funds up on the day the contract is expedited or before 6PM doesn't happen that often due to the fact that borrowers need the money, if not right now then yesterday. This was not my case. My need for these funds was not an emergency.
Just a suggestion, when the confirmation e-mail is sent to the borrower informing him that the funds are approved and available at USA Cash or wherever, somewhere in the text of that e-mail this information should be included. Again, please change my payment day to the 19th of the month.

This company 1-800loanmart, is an absolute scam. This company and its employees are extremely hostile and unprofessional. They lure people in as a clean cut organization that markets very well to people as a reputable, fast cash option. In all reality, they raise interest rates as high as 75% and ultimately treat as though they do not want you to ever get your car back. I have read multiple posts and spoken to a dozen people who have not one good thing to say about the company and their practices. They will tow your car and have it to a local auction within 3 days ready to sell. It will take you 2 days to even get a call back.
If you miss a payment, you have no chance. They will not work with you and they are not honest people. These guys make drug dealers look like honest criminals and I would highly advise anyone considering a loan with them to seek alternative options. Ask your close family or friends. Anything besides going to these guys. I just hope I save someone much more than they bargain to lose.
It is not LoanMart’s policy to conduct in an unprofessional or hostile matter. Upon signing the loan agreement it is clearly stated that this is a high interest loan. It is also stated that it is a simple interest loan which means that interest will accrue on a daily basis. This is why we always encourage our consumers to make their payments early, often and more in order to avoid excessive finance charges. I needed extra cash to pay off some debts that were coming close to be charged off, so I decided to take a title loan with this company. On the phone, the underwriting department of this company were really nice and even said positive things towards my struggles. I really was happy and excited to get a loan with this company until the first payment. I paid my account on time. Then I got a settlement check I was waiting for and wanted to pay off the loan I made one payment already of $550.00. The loan was originally $6,000. In less than a month, the loan amount went from $6,000 to $7,046.52. I called several times, always promising I will get a call back from the management, but no replies. Keep in mind that everyday the loan accrues interest.
They advised me to look in the contract I signed and there it said there was a $675 prepaid finance charge (admin fee). I asked before what was this fee about. They advised me that this fee was only to be paid if I defaulted on a loan or my car got repossessed. I called and called until I finally got a call from the management. They advised me, in a rude way, that they can't do anything. If I wanted to settle the amount for less than I owe, it was ok but was going to be bad on my credit.
"Why would I settle less," I told him, "if still I am paying all the principal amount less this fees that I never agreed?" They wouldn't budge on that so I paid the loan because I don't want them repossess. But I will be filing a complaint with the Department of Corporation and be looking in any legal way because this is an unfair fee that I never agreed to. If you're planning to do business with this company, please don't! This company deserves to be out of business. They are liars and crooks that can get away with stealing hard earned money.

1800 Loanmart is absolutely to worst loan option available, no matter what your emergency. The agent who had initially sold me the loan was clever to hide certain information when I asked about interest rates, specifically how interest would affect my ability to pay back the loan quickly. I have paid my monthly amount due ($245) for more than a year without fail. If I was ever a few days late on a payment, I would always make sure to pay the extra amount for interest that accrued during the late payment.
I called last week to check on my balance and the agent stated it was at $2,100. I have paid over $2,700 back for a $2,600 loan and have only made less than $600 progress on my initial loan. I have had a bad experience with this company. They are rude and not helpful at all. They do not help and don’t care of any situation that you are dealing with. They are very money hungry. They want to take your vehicle for being a few days late with your payment and it ends up costing hundreds and hundreds more to get it back after being just a few days late. This is a really bad company and I will never ever, ever do business with them again. No one should do business with 800loanmart.

I've been in the auto lending business for a lot of years, so I understand the subprime lending model. Due to the collapse of the car business, I found myself in a financial pickle with derogatory credit. 800Loanmart was kind enough to give me a $3500 loan on a car that wholesaled for slightly over $20k. With less than 20% loan-to-value, they obviously weren't at risk for recouping their investment. If you're unfortunate enough to have to speak with them regarding your loan, be prepared! They are the most disrespectful and rude customer service reps I've ever had to speak to. Management/owners obviously encourage and foster this type of behavior, because the people I spoke with had no issues or concerns with their treatment of me being discovered.
I was laughed at and hung up on. I was yelled at. I was lied to. I had no trust or faith that these people would do the right thing. Since interest accrues daily, I began making payments weekly, and paid extra to pay it off quicker. I didn't trust them to properly apply my payments if I mailed them in, so I made these payments on their website. Well, their website only allows you to get so much ahead on your loan, then it blocks further payments, a nice little scam they have going in order to collect more interest from you. I ended up paying $10 to Western Union my final large payment, because, as I already said, I couldn't trust them to apply my payments in a timely manner, and felt it necessary to have proof of when they actually received my payments.
So, as I said, 800Loanmart serves an unfortunate purpose, but be careful with these people. They're not nice or customer service-friendly and your loan balance will balloon very quickly at the interest rates they charge. Be prepared to pay this loan off as fast as you possibly can. And as for all of these glowing 5-star reviews they've received, I'm not buying it. These are obviously friends, family and employees. I honestly can't believe that someone can personally interact with these people under any circumstances and have a positive experience. And one last thing, I think these people are so evil, I'm afraid to use my real phone number because I don't want them to be able to figure out who I am. I absolutely fear retaliation from these animals.

They constantly harassed me and they threatened to take the car. They asked where it was all of the time. I was honest and upfront about my income situation, but they made it an issue even though they granted the loan in spite of that. They have accrued interest and the interest is high to start with. They have taken my car for the second time. These people should be put out of business. It is appalling to see how many people have gone through almost the exact same thing that I have.

800 Loan Mart filed a lien at DMV via ELT Program. I have requested over the past 9 months a copy of the signed title to my car. To date, they have not and will not provide me with the signed copy of my title. I have always been in possession of my title and I am puzzled that 800 Loan Mart filed the ELT with DMV without the requirement of the original signed title and/or notarized request for a duplicate title signed by me. How can they file an ELT with DMV 3 months after the unsecured loan was initialized and with the consent of the legal owner?
I have completed the request for an investigation with DMV and will wait for them to determine the ELT filing was fraudulently filed by 800 Loan Mart. In the meantime, they have initiated repossession efforts again without the benefit of the original title ever being surrendered to 800 Loan Mart. I have called numerous times to no avail, not to mention the unanswered emails I have sent requesting the contract together with a copy of the original title signed by me, again, to no avail. Please help me get to the bottom of this. I am being harassed and am scared of these crooks. How can they not produce the necessary documents I have requested? They never received it because I never signed it over to 800 loan mart.
In July 2011, we entered into a legal and binding Promissory Note and Security Agreement with Ms. Harlan where she clearly pledged her vehicle title as collateral. As a matter of convenience and as is our common practice, we arranged for a funding partner near the borrowers residence for contract signing and funding. Shortly thereafter, we received the loan package in our headquarters and the title was not included. The funding partner advised they forgot to collect the title from the borrower. Our quality control department immediately contacted Ms. Harlan in an attempt to collect the title, and documented her reply that “she gave everything to the store”. However, she states in the complaint she has “always been in possession of the title”. Ultimately, we resolved the clerk failed to collect or misplaced the title and proceeded to file the Electronic Lien and Title (ELT), as is our right in accordance with the Promissory Note.
Our servicing notes indicate Ms. Harlan contacted us only once when she unable to maintain the terms of our agreement to question lienholder status of her title. We’ve explained that we were not in possession of the original title as we had previously made her aware, but were able to place the ELT on her vehicle title based on the Security Interest and Power of Attorney she granted us via the legal and binding Promissory Note she signed.
The Power of Attorney clause reads as follows – Until you have paid us all that you owe us, You hereby appoint us, and any one of our designated officers or employees, as your attorney-in-fact, with full power of substitution, to sign in your name any and all applications for certificate of ownership to secure our lien in the Vehicle, and any affidavits or the certificate of ownership to transfer and convey the title or our interest in the Vehicle.
We encourage Ms. Harlan to contact our Customer Relationships Manager directly at 818.285.2127 to further discuss how we were able to secure our lien without her handing over the physical title. We will also forward a copy of our response to her email address. Please note, our records indicate we’ve initiated and made several attempts to contact Ms. Harlan by phone and correspondence over the past several weeks to no avail.

On 5/16/2012, I went online and started to do an application, but I then decided not to finish. Within 10 minutes, I received a call from an employee by the name of Stephanie. I asked questions in regards to a car loan, but I told her I would need to talk with my husband because he was employed and I wasn't. I would call back if I was interested. Today, 5/24/2012, I received a letter from 1-800LoanMart saying they denied my application and they ran my credit without my permission! So, I called and spoke to a receptionist there in the Encino office and was told that there was no Stephanie there and that there is nobody by that name. I told her how that could be when I wrote down the name and the ref number she gave me.
She then said, “Oh, yes, I got the ref number. Do you want to talk to a manager?” I said yes. So, after waiting more than 10 minutes for a manager, I get a manager by the name of ** who was beyond rude and talked over me. He made me very upset. I told him the whole issue and told him how you can run my credit without my permission! Plus, I don't work, my husband does. I never once gave them permission to run my credit - never! I never even finished the application and I never submitted online. I was not getting anywhere with ** the manager. Like I said, he was yelling and making excuses for getting information and processing it without permission.
1-800LoanMart’s position is that we have not inquired about Cherry’s credit through any credit reporting agency. We encourage Cherry to check with Experian – the credit bureau we subscribe and report to for confirmation there is no credit inquiry from Wheels Financial Group dba 1-800LoanMart. It is an unfortunate misunderstanding based on general correspondence we send to applicants who have an incomplete, withdrawn or declined application. Our systematic way of purging such applications from our files, automatically prompts an Adverse Action Notice to be generated and mailed to the applicant(s). The Adverse Action Notice is a catchall that reads “we cannot grant a loan to you at this time” – if an application is incomplete, withdrawn by the applicant or declined by a Loan Officer. All of the aforementioned are within industry guidelines not to grant a loan. Responsibly, we include our contact information and instructions within the same notice for those who would like a personalized statement of reasons.
What may have also contributed to the misunderstanding is the required Federal Disclosure also contained in the notice that reads, ‘If we obtained information from a consumer reporting agency as part of our consideration… You have the right under the Fair Credit Reporting Act to know the information contained in your credit file’. Again, we did not pull a credit report but are required by law to include this statement. We have replied to Cherry’s personal email to better explain the general statements and legal requirements; provide her Experian contact information and apologize for the confusion caused by the notice.

We too were told a lot of what these people were told upon applying for a loan. Then I was asked if we had a spare key. Red flags went off. This triggered me to research further. When we called, emailed and said what we found in the form of complaints, their only response was "All these people were late. That's why." Our reply, "There are just too many complaints filed and that explanation is just not sufficient." Also, to have someone come to your home, that is another red flag. Why not meet at a reputable lender's office or title place, so they know where you live? We see deceptive practices all over the place. Thank you to those of you who wrote in. I read all the fine print on anything today with the way the economy is. We need to watch out, there are tons of scams, have an attorney, read over documents if you have to and avoid this company at all costs.
It is unfortunate for both parties if the representative did not fully explain title loan industry practices, as it is common for a title lender to collect a spare key for the vehicle pledged as collateral. In lieu of a spare key, some title lenders install GPS tracking devices on all collateral vehicles, no matter the loan amount. 1800LoanMart does not. And although 1800LoanMart has hundreds of funding locations in California, the state where most of our business is conducted, we have minimal locations in Arizona. Therefore, as a matter of convenience to our Arizona customers we offer mobile notary services for document signing/funding – a common practice in the mortgage industry, as well. If one were to research the title loan industry, they would find 1800LoanMart practices are neither uncommon nor deceptive. We agree consumers need to be mindful of loan details and do our best to impart as much knowledge about title loans via our conversations and contract.

I borrowed $6,500.00, paid back $11,000 and they say I still owe $7,000.00. This is absolutely crazy. Then my contract got stolen with my briefcase, and I called them to ask for a copy of my contract and payment history. They waited about 60 days to finally fax me a contract which was not even mine. I got a lady named Mary, her contract with her social security number and it was faxed to me. I told them they sent someone else’s contract and they did not give a squat.
They are predators in lending. Do not do business with them. They repossessed my car when I was at work. My boss went outside, he said he would pay for me, they said no and pushed me away from my car. They called harassing, I told them I wanted my contract because they are rip offs and they waited another 2 months to send me my payment history but no contract. I never got my new title with them on it, like they said I would. They lied at the gate and never stopped. They came to my house and threatened to call the police. I told them to go to hell.
It is now a civil matter, not a crime. You’re the criminals. Get out of here before you get charged with harassment. They returned my car at a hideout they won’t even tell you where your car is. I paid to get it back and it was never running the same. They are scum and I pray they get a class action lawsuit, talk about kicking you when you’re down. Let my mistake teach you a lesson, they are crooks, they are not trying to help you. They just want to add more dirt to your grave. Stay away from them.

While we pride ourselves in responsibly disclosing loan terms to our valued customers, it is unfortunate that some may not fully understand the difference between the Monthly Rate and the Annual percentage rate (APR). The monthly rate and APR are one in the same and both are quoted throughout the funding process, yet sometimes confused. However, if the rate/terms of our loan are not fully comprehensible via telephone conversations, the industry standard Promissory Note and Security Agreement every borrower is required to read, agree to and sign, boldly discloses the Annual Percentage Rate, Finance Charge, Amount Financed and Total of Payments.
We at 1800LoanMart, pride ourselves on providing a service that most financial institutions do not. While an auto title loan may not be an inexpensive loan, it is available for those who have quick cash needs or have had financial challenges in the past and are unable to obtain a loan from a traditional lender. And if the loan is paid according to terms or paid-off early to curtail the finance charge – it serves its purpose.

These people are absolute crooks. We got the loan in September of 2011, and have made every payment on time. I called in Feb. 2012 to get a pay off amount, and the pay off is 3 times more than what the car is worth. I initially borrowed $4,500, and my car is only worth about $2,000. My pay off is $6,000, after I have paid $500 a month for the last 4 months. I offered them $3,500, and they advised me that is not an option, and offered to come and repossess my car, and the payment is not even due.
I am no longer working, and want to pay this off while I have some type of money, with the economy being very horrible. They are not accepting my offer, and want to repossess my car, and have been harassing me ever since, and I don't even have a payment due until the 20th of March. I hate this company and I may have to take legal action against them, and their rude employees.
Using a standard amortization calculator for any loan amount with a low or high interest rate, one would see that if you “made every payment on time” the principal balance would be reduced.
1-800LoanMart is known to reduce the intererst rate or settle a loan balance at the end of the loan term, most times without our customer prompting us to do so. Although, we are not obliged to settle a loan balance, we take all request into consideration and decide accordingly. 800 Loan Mart can be rated as "Fraud". I had a Title Loan on my 2002 Ford F-150 Supercrew Truck and almost had it paid for, when a Car Title Company from Northern California contacted me out of the blue and offered me a re-finance on my then current loan.
It was like they knew I was in need of money at the time. Well I listened to their sales pitch on what a deal I was getting on the Refinance and how it would help my credit rating to. So I agreed to fill out a application for refinance and I did and the Title Company were so nice and supportive on my money needs.
I filled out the application and at the time thought the new refinance loan was coming from a company called Wheels Financial. Well it turns out that Wheels Financial and 800 Loan Mart are one in the same company.
The company never once in the sales pitch or on any of the applications and documents that I signed mentioned that these two companies were in fact the same company.
I never found any of this information out until the Notary of the Public told me after we signed the documents. I have been harassed and called all times of the day and night and weekends and 800 loan mart has even spoke to other people not even involved in my loan at all about me being behind and what actions 800 loan mart would take if I didn't get current on my loan as soon as possible.
I have been threatened by 800 loan mart more than once. Lied to, had to make two payments back to back meaning within a day of each other and paid huge amounts of interest fees, loan fees, late fees, you name it. I was forced to file chapter 13 bankruptcy recently due to 800 Loan Mart making my life a nightmare!
Do not ever get a car title loan from 800 loan mart if you do you will pay forever!

They re-wrote my contract in December 2009. It required a down payment of $800, and 24 payments of $278.14. I have since made the down payment, and 26 monthly payments, and they say I still owe more payments. I have called them nearly every day, and keep getting the runaround. They will place me on hold, and then transfer me around continuously for 30 minutes or more. I spoke to Valerie on January 30, 2012. She promised to get this resolved with accounting, and get back to me by 5 PM(PST) that day. Not only did she not call, but she has has been dodging my calls everyday this week.
My wife and I had to file a small claims suit in July 2010 against them, and the repossession company they hired for ramming her with the tow truck, and causing her bodily injuries. We won that case and 800 Loan Mart had to pay us just over $2,800. I have fulfilled my contract, and simply want the title back to my car. They continued to ignore me, and now I feel I have no other choice, but to file another small claims suit, or a civil suit to resolve this matter, which I am ready to do.

Do not for any means lend money from this company. I regret my experience with these folks. After getting a car loan for $4000 on a car with a value of $12,000, my first payment got late for 10 days. They came at 2:00 am at my driveway and took my car. They drove my vehicle for 70 miles to the storage facilities. It cost me $ 800 just in fees. It is ridiculous. Please do not ask for loan from these animals. Look for other alternatives that at the end you will be able to bread.

Any and everyone with a single brain cell and upward, listen to me! Please do not get a loan from these crooks! You will regret it more than OJ Simpson trying to get his trophy back! Ever repel down into a pitch black ice cave and land in the middle of a pack of starving hyenas with rabies in a cactus patch covered by a cloud of pepper spray while surrounded by 55 porcupines and patrolled by 16 HIV infected skunks all while a grinning demonic birthday clown beats a drum in your ear? No? Well, sweetie, do business with these wild dingoes and you will definitely get this special treatment! They're rude, mean-spirited, and arrogant. But, it’s the interest rate that will absolutely devour your soul. You get a loan for $3,000. You are charged 90% interest. You pay the minimum of $320 a month. But with the interest rate rising faster than the Twinkies at the Hostess factory, that little payment isn't nearly enough to keep the great whites off your back.
Why? It really requires about $360 a month just to keep up with the loan! So, after every (even on-time) payment the balance still rises a good $40-$60 every month. That's why after two years of paying on a $3,000 loan, your balance will easily be $4,000. Imagine grabbing at a rising helium balloon every month. At first, it rises to your forehead, you grab it, pull it down. The next month, it rises to the top of the doorway, you pull it down. The next month, it hits the ceiling, you pull it down.
The next month, it flies out the window, and rises to the roof of the house. Do you see? Even though you're pulling it down every month by making payments, the balance gets higher and higher as time goes by due to the 90-110% interest rate! Go towards the light, don't come down here! They will grab your ankles if you even think of coming near this opening to hell. There are demons down here with their mouths open ready to gnaw the life off of your bones! Please, someone find my mother and tell her I love her and to feed Bowzer his favorite kitty treats on the weekends! Why didn't I choose the Chinese water torture for more fun instead?
