The first person that I spoke with scared me off. He wanted to run my credit, so I said I didn't think my credit was bad, but he said he's seen people get loans with not that well of credit. "Let me see." When he ran it, he wanted to transfer me immediately to somebody else and gave some spiel. I thought it was a scam, but after that initial person, the lady that I dealt with to get the loan was wonderful. She knew I was having a hard time and that I wanted to get it done by the end of the day, because I was in a really tight corner. It was a little rough for me, because I didn't have a printer, but she got me through it. It got done by the end of the day, and I really appreciated it.

I had to do everything over the phone, and personally, I understood what LoanMart wanted me to come up with was very reasonable for what they were giving. They give a loan, so they want proof of income. I had direct deposit, and they were cool with a bank statement. They also wanted the title and pictures of the vehicle. You had to put the title in the package, and they pay for it, for you to go pick it up. They have you sign documents, but they trust you to put the title in there, take a picture of the receipt and still give you the payment. What they only want is you to send a picture of the receipt. It took hours, but it was easy and fairly reasonable and they did exactly what they said they were gonna do. So I appreciate LoanMart.

At first, I didn't know about LoanMart, 'cause they don't have an office here in Oregon, and I was really skeptical. I only said 2,000, and they were willing to give me up to almost $9,000 for my vehicle. I could've paid for a funeral with that. My vehicle is worth more, but if I was in a really terrible spot and I really needed some money, they will make it happen for me. I recommend LoanMart totally. I gotta make my first payment, even though I plan on paying them back faster, so I'm about to make a big payment to them. I recommend anybody in a tight spot to have a car title loan with them.

LoanMart was easier to do. I didn't have to go find an office to get the loan. I didn't have to make sure the vehicle was taken to them. I could do everything over the phone and just fax things back and forth. But then things got complicated. It was just the process of getting all the information to them. It wasn't as easy as I thought it was at first. Initially, I just had to download or upload everything to them.

I had to have the title transferred from my boyfriend's name to my name and it was a lot of work after a while. I had to download insurance, the title, my driver's license, and some paperwork from the DMV. It was just back and forth, and back and forth. Also, there was a holiday so there was a four-day weekend. I didn't talk to them for four days. The loan got dropped and they told me I couldn't get a loan or I didn't have an application and I had to redo it. They said that if I didn't stay in communication with them within 24 to 48 hours, the loan is thrown out and I would be denied. I was pissed about that.

I had to start all over again and redo the whole thing, which means they had to check my credit all over again, which put another point against me. I wasn't really happy. It was supposed to be a 30-minute process. But it took me over two and a half weeks to get the loan. Now, I'm just trying to figure out a way to get the loan paid off so I can get rid of it. I'll never try and get a loan ever again. I would rather be in debt to a family member. LoanMart could've explained the whole process a lot better.

I did the quick walkthrough. We were pre-approved. I said, “Okay. Let me see if I can make this work.” It was midnight and I didn't know what LoanMart's hours were. So, I waited until the next day. They called me. I said, “It's just I want to make sure this is going to work first.” They shocked me on their customer service Quick and honest. They made sure I understood the amount of money it would be a month. They worked with me.

We told the rep our situation. Because, at the time, I hadn't started work, but I had a contract for work. And she said, “Unfortunately, we wouldn’t have a loan for you, but you added your husband as a co-signer, we could.” And I specifically asked, “Would that change the rate or hidden fees or anything?” She said, “No. It’d be just exactly the same. I understand that’s the fear of a lot of people. It does not do anything other than just make it also reliable. Once you start getting paid, the payments go down every month, not drastically.” And I like that she told us that it didn’t go down drastically. So, the honesty was amazing with who we worked with. Also, she was very patient. I had to call my mom while we were on the phone with her to make sure that this wasn't a loan that we would get half-assed on. We settled.

I ended up going with LoanMart because my grandfather passed in Michigan and we were trying to do a cremation ceremony to get him and fly him back home. I did a title loan and LoanMart was fast and on point. Their rep asked for pictures of the vehicle all the way around as well as the VIN on the driver's door. She wanted the mileage, a picture of the dash, a picture of me with the tag of the car, and a picture of the title initially. They then asked me to send the actual title and income information as well as my proof of residence. I did my light bill.

The process took about three days. I didn't have a FedEx in my area to send off my title and they were waiting on me to send the confirmation that I had from FedEx. I pushed it out one more day. The process could have been done in two days if not for that. The only thing that threw me off a little bit was when they requested for me to sign the form and send it back to them via FedEx, they didn't tell me that I needed to send my title with it. All I sent was the form and they blew me up. I would have sent the title initially had they told me. I then had to drive 45 minutes again to a FedEx the following day and this was during my work day. But that was perfectly fine and I understood. Other than that, the process was smooth. LoanMart was convenient. I asked for an amount and they gave me what I asked for. The loan officers were consistent and they didn't hassle too much. The experience has been not bad so far so I would recommend Loanmart.

When I talked to people from LoanMart, they seemed very trustworthy. They would sit on the phone with me while I was driving from my house to Walmart to pick up the money. If someone was going to hoodoo you around, they sure aren't gonna sit on the phone with you while you drove there although I felt a little uncomfortable a couple of times because they all asked everything.

There were a few hard times during the loan and application process. I could understand taking a picture of yourself, face to face, but they wanted a picture of you from each side. They wanted a picture of your face, your back, your front and your side to side. Then, they got where you had to turn to a 45 degree angle, which was hard. I could never capture that picture of myself. So finally, I had to figure out how to get ahold of them and tell them that I've tried taking all these pictures. I also got beside my car and took a picture of me because LoanMart wanted you to take a picture of yourself standing beside your car by the tags. I had to take a picture of the inside of the car, on the outside and the inside of it. If I'm gonna loan money to somebody, I'd want to see the car, too. So that wasn’t a problem to me. It was the 45 degree angle that was aggravating me.

I got a title loan from Loanmart and crashed the car while I still had the title loan. They repossessed the car and sold it but are still trying to charge me even though they got the money for the car. My loan was for 2500 and they are asking for over 8k. Then they started calling my family members and jobs and harassing me and threatening me.

There was a lengthy process with taking pictures. I'm a college student, so that's hard sometimes, but we worked around it. We had to change the lienholder as the Capital Community Bank, and they removed the DMV fee where we didn't have to send the title in. LoanMart was able to set my payment the way I needed to. They were very helpful with everything. They did everything they possibly could to help me get the loan, the approval rates and the amount that I needed. It provided me with a good sense of a stability to be able to pay the loan back.

I was out of town when we had to process a loan with LoanMart and it was really the most inconvenient, but everything was fine, except for the fact that I had to take a picture next to the car. I was in a completely different state and I had to pay my son $100 to drive to me so I could take a picture of the car and get the loan. But I get it. Anybody could try to get a loan on something and if it's a torn up vehicle, what kind of collateral is that? Other than that, the entire process took a week and I'd tell friends and family good things about LoanMart.

It took me 30 minutes to an hour to go through the entire process at LoanMart. Everybody I spoke to was helpful. The only thing I don't like is if it's due on the 21st, nobody should call me until the 22nd. Don't call me on the day of. I don't need to be reminded. If I missed the 21st and then on the 22nd, you'd call, that would be fine. Besides that, everything else is pretty good. They also send you a reminder text, which is amazing.
