    I was very excited when I was approved for a personal, unsecured loan after 16 months after filing for bankruptcy. Everyone's situation is different as to why forced to apply for bankruptcy but Lending Club's fair, no-hassle, loan application, and extremely fast deposit of funds the same day is only a few reasons why I would go back to them time and time again!     The customer service representative was very helpful and addressed all concerns I had and answered my questions in a friendly and courteous manner. Overall I think they are an excellent company to work with. The application process was fairly easy and simple to complete. Overall it took me thirty minutes to get approved and the representative was very patient with me even though I asked the same thing over and over just to make sure I understood everything correctly. The rates and terms were very easy to understand. The customer service representative went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything that they were telling me. Overall this is a good company who is very patient with their customers. The online tools were easy to use and navigate through. I had no difficulties using them. I prefer to do it this way because the process is faster than spending 20 minutes on the phone and wearing my phone battery down.

    Was very happy to find how nice everyone was I talked to. I was afraid to get a loan for a big purchase order. The normal 10 percent down wasn't enough to do rush order. Very happy I did. Loan process was very normal. Normal questions usually asked. What made me so happy though was the fact how fast the entire process was. I feel for what I needed and asked for the Loan amount, cost and terms were very fair. It's always hard getting any loan for business specially fear mistake but very happy. The online tools I was afraid would be too hard for me not good at it but was very surprising shocked how easy and help was easy to get.

    BorrowersFirst was the first to send me an offer so I went with them, everyone was pleasant and helpful each time I called. I did get the loan as promised and described but took a lot longer than expected. I was first told I was approved and would have the money very quickly, but you have to verify your bank and the bank documents wasn't sufficient and my credit union wouldn't do 3rd party calls, so it took 3 days to get this done, then another day for underwriter to approve and then 2 days before money goes into your acct. So if you know all this upfront it's all good, but if you're expecting money in 2 days, you're going to be disappointed. But very nice people to do business with.

    However I received a call from OneMain loan and when I told her I had already responded with another company she asked me who and THEN SAID A VERY DEROGATORY COMMENT ABOUT THAT COMPANY AND THEN TOLD ME SHE WAS GOING TO DECLINE MY LOAN and hung up on me. I tried to call the call back and speak with someone to see if she could really decline and affect my credit like that but rec'd answering machine, so I left a message and no one ever called me back and I truly don't know what they have done to my credit yet.

    I have been working on trying to get a loan for it seems like forever. I started a business this year and it seems impossible but I don't give up. Something got to happen either way.     I was curious about comparing interest rates on a refinanced auto loan. I filled out the application on LendingTree. It seems as though LendingTree provided my information to different lenders and as a result I have multiple hard credit pulls on my credit report within a two day period. I called Experian about the multiple hard pulls and they told me that it was nothing they could do about it and I would have to call each company that pulled my credit to dispute it. LendingTree does not accurately represent that this will happen during the application process. Had I known that LendingTree would simply forward my information to multiple companies I would not have proceeded. In addition, my email and phone were spammed for a month with individual companies calling or writing that I had not contacted myself. LendingTree is nothing more than a middle man with no real value other than collecting your information for third party companies.

    I applied through Lending Tree and was approved but when the representative called me to finalize the loan I was told that I needed a car title to secure it. If I wanted a title loan, that's what I would have applied for, except when you obtain a title loan they don't check your credit. Now I have an inquiry on my credit for a lousy title loan that I didn't want in the first place! Why not put that information upfront? Instead of "appearing" to be a legitimate lender and then tricking clients at the last minute. This is predatory lending at it's finest! DO NOT use this company!

    They were right in their way of doing what I needing but a little slow on how much. I get call that same day to tell me how much that I can get. Not long just fill out the application and they will do a background on your credit to see if you have a bank account and see what you need the money for. The rate is a little high for the loan at 5.14 approx at 48 months to paid it off but you have to do what it take to get in. Also if I don't pay off the loan then it will be talked by then till I can get the money back. I don't do a online tool. I went there myself. It is better if you go in person that way they know who they are working with.

    Has the best quality of care and customer service of any brand such as these. Wide range of options to choose from when dealing with them. Simple and very to complete their online application process. If I ever needed any kind of assistance all I had to do was ask. Extremely helpful customer service representatives.     I called to see why I got denied and they wouldn't give me a reason. I was disappointed to say the least and really needed it to start a small company. It was so long and they never told me why I was denied. I wish it was shorter so it wasn't a waste of time. I felt that it asked irrelevant questions. They seems like they have competitive rates and that is why I wanted the loan. I thought the company was easy to work with as well. It was just what I needed. They have great online tools to help you and customer service. I think it's a great website and easy to navigate and search for what you need.

    Whenever I've needed to make a phone call to Lending Tree the person on the other end has always been friendly and knowledgeable. They try to keep the calls quick and efficient. Calling their service line has been a pleasant experience. The application was super easy. I was able to do it online and it did not take too long to complete. The steps were easy to follow and I heard back from Lending Tree relatively quickly. The interest rate is relatively low in comparison to the other companies I researched. The payments are reasonable and I do not feel like I'm being cheated or ripped off. The website is super easy to navigate. You have access to current, as well as past bills. The interest and remaining balance are simple to locate. I've never run into trouble while trying to pay my bill.

    When I applied for the loan I hadn't established credit really yet so I was denied. They didn't really give me any tips on how to one day possibly become approved. I had no help at all during the application process. I was confused while filling it out and just answered to the best of my knowledge but I know I probably messed a lot of it up. The rates that Lending Tree had were very good. For someone my age and with no experience it seemed like a wonderful deal. However, I was not approved and probably won't apply again. I only looked at the online tools for a little bit. I prefer talking to an actual person and avoiding doing it all online. Unfortunately the person I talked to didn't seem like they wanted to help much.

    I had issues with the local branch always getting machine not human. That is very annoying to me. Where is a human when you need one? Other than that customer service was okay. The application at Lending Tree is rather timely and extensive. But when dealing with money I suppose that it is necessary. In the end it's all good. The rates and terms at Lending Tree are a bit on the high side. But then again it's falls into line with other lending companies. It's all about the almighty dollar. The online tools at Lending Tree are fairly straightforward, and easy to use. You don't need to be computer savvy to navigate the website.

    Be careful!!! This company Lendingtree.com does not provide loans (as I was expecting), but it just forwards your information to other companies. And these companies will begin to attack your phone one by one with the own proposals. I get a call in 5 min after filing data on Lendingtree.com, thought it is calling Lending Tree to me. But it was Dakota ** FROM Royal United! This was NOT Lending Tree! He sounded like it is Lendingtree.com!

    They asked for my SSN and run my credit score!!! They gave no offers to me but quickly made hard inquiry for my score. When I realized that it was not a Lending Tree it was different company that Lending Tree forward to me, I was shocked!! What a shame! But it is too late. Now I'm trying for second day to get response Royal United and they do not responding to my calls... 0 stars! Do not recommend!

    If you think that after filling the web form on LendingTree.com you will be contacted by Lending Tree you're wrong. You will be calling a lot of different companies that are not related to Lending Tree. Now I doubt whether there are real people in Lending Tree or there are only online robots that just sell your information to other banks. Dakota told me to wait call from his boss Derek with offers, but... silence.

    Very leary putting account # out. Numerous repairs needed on home, plumbing, electrical, painting inside and out, front porch is leaning and needs to be reinforced. If given a loan, can pay off some charges and making the loan payments will be a breeze! We just need a chance. Even if we just get half of what we are requesting we can still fix up our home enough that it will sell for way more than what it is appraised for now. We live half block from a new library, fire department, and police dept and approx 3 miles from Broad Ripple Village. Many homes on our street are being rehabbed, and we want to fix our home up also.     I have found out Lending Tree refused to help me with a personal loan and they said I was worthless and am not good enough. I need to over 1 600 a month. I am sorry I am on social security disability. I applied for 5,000.00 to pay all my bills and I then was told "we don't work with rejects like you". Not only I wanted to improve my credit score I am being not to trust anyone. I am scared to be Discriminated again. I never had a personal loan. And I feel lending tree allow me to a one time personal loan. I was moved to a payday loans. I don't work with that.

    I came across this website looking to see if I might want to refinance my car as recommended on credit karma. Their website asks for a lot of information for a "personalized" quote. They actually put in applications which I did not want. I received a phone call stating I was approved for an auto refinance. Immediately when I realized that they were actually applying for credit I sent several messages online to cancel as I did not want to apply. Still no one has responded to me and when I called their number today, they told me there's nothing they can do. They did not honor my request to withdraw my application and now I have many inquiries on my credit. I feel very mislead. I would have used their service in the future had they withdrew the applications as I requested immediately. Now I definitely will not.

As a result, FICO Scores ignore mortgage, auto and student loan inquiries made in the 30 days prior to scoring. So, if the consumer finds a loan within 30 days, the inquires won’t affect the FICO Score while the consumer is rate-shopping.

    Customer service was friendly but not able to get much done. It was evident they were trying but they didn't get too far with the helping part. Easy to handle but not very efficient. Applications was quick and easy. After so many long and tedious applications, it was like a breath of fresh air. They did their best to make you understand and help you on your way. As always, no one is ever satisfied with the terms, but they were probably the best for what they could offer, but I wish there was more. Always do, but they did a good job.     I called to get information on a line of credit. I don't have a mortgage and don't have the best credit. I spoke with a young man who said he couldn't help my state but would have someone call me back. Never heard a word. I called back several weeks later. Spoke to a bank person who took my information. Said he'd call me back in an hour or so. Never heard another word. I called back a third time and spoke to another bank person who needed the name of the person I'd talked to the second time.     I used Lending Club for a credit card consolidation loan. The process was very easy. It did take the full two weeks from application to funding; so I did not have the quick turn around time as other customers have had. The customer service staff was very friendly when I contacted them to check on the status of my loan. I would recommend this service. The only drawback is there is no longer a feature to see where in the investor backing process your loan is in. So at times it was hard to be patient and just wait for the process to occur. I am a visual person so it would have been nice to see this process.

    Went to this site to compare loans for upcoming house purchase. Didn't get any online info at all. Instead I have spent the day being harassed by every lender around by both email and phone calls. Clearly they are selling our information to lenders. The Rv commercials make it out to be the trivago of home loan comparison but in real they gather your private information and sell it off. Which makes sense as to how they make money. Would not recommend this site to anyone.

    I put in for a $5000 loan - we have a good credit score of over 700 and medium income with all loans paid off except for some cc debt. Lending Tree asked for a ton of personal information and when I finally got to the "view offers" page, first, it kept saying the site was having issues and to be patient and when it was done "Sorry Lending Tree was not able to find any lenders to meet your needs". If a person making over 50K a year with a good credit score can't find a loan here I have to wonder! Now I feel like they data mined me by making me agree to providing my phone number to basically be sold to other parties, etc for nothing. Use with caution!

    Decided to check out auto rates as I wanted to refinance my vehicle and get a lower rate since my credit score has improved by a large amount since originally buying the car. Searched around on google and landed on Lendingtree being a one stop shop for rates. Decided to see what rates they could find and entered my information. On their page it says that they will only be doing a soft pull, so I checked accept.

    Rates from a number of lenders came up from about three or four lenders and I figured I would compare them later on. Not more than 2 minutes after I receive about 10 phone calls. That part wasn't bad as I understand their job, however I received an email saying that someone did a hard pull of my credit and that's when things went bad. After looking at my credit report I notice 2 pulls from these lenders that I did not authorize nor agree to letting pull my report. Lendingtree provides fraudulent behavior for these third parties and it will take months to get these inquiries off my report if I can get them off. I highly recommend you stay away from Lendingtree as they are deceitful and frauds.

    Last week (04-11-16) I visited your website for the first time. I filled out the information hoping to get some feelers out for an auto loan. I received a call from a gentleman from the number **. He asked me information and I told him I was just wanting to see how things worked with Lending Tree and wanted to know what they had to offer. I had went this route first because I didn't want any hard inquiries on my credit report. He said he would call me back in 10-15 minutes. 40 minutes later he called and said that the banks weren't open and he would call me by 9 am the next day (4-12-16). I never heard from him again. Today I get on my credit report only to find that I have 4 hard inquiries. I'm incredibly upset. I never gave permission to have any hard inquiries on my report. I am in the process of disputing and I will not use the Lending Tree in the future.

    I was turned down because my credit score was 3 points too low. They say they want to help people to be able to start a small business so people can get on their feet but will turn you down over 3 little points on your credit report. Had to fill out all kinds of forms and provide different documents and took a lot of time. I could have been doing something else to make money.     Very helpful, knowledgeable staff, loan completed quickly and easily. They made the loan experience not enjoyable but close. I would recommend them to others and appreciate all the staff did to make this an easy process. It was quick, easy and they were very good at completing paperwork and legal items. The application was long and not easy to complete. The staff did help and offered any assistance they could give. After the paperwork was done everything else was pretty easy.     The customer support are friendly and can easily respond to all my inquiries as well as to my husband's questions. We have a lot of questions and they were able to answer it promptly. Every application process takes a while if it's really worth the wait so I waited like weeks for this. But I guess that's just normal for this type of application.     The customer support experience was very sad and shocking. They do the same to all their customers when they have a problem. Hang up on you, are rude, tell customers they can't help with their issue, etc. Application process is fast and very easy. It doesn't take much knowledge to fill one out. However, it needs some tweaks and fixes here and there. The rates are seriously ridiculous. I know many people don't pay attention when they sign up to things like this, but really look at what you're signing up for. The terms, that is even more frustrating.     The customer service was sub-par at best. The representative seemed rushed to finish with me and didn't want to provide me with enough information. The application process was fairly standard as far as getting a loan. There was not really anything, good or bad, that made it stand out. Had I been approved, the rates and terms would have been okay. I probably couldn't find any better without substantially more collateral. They use fair market prices, terms, and interest rates, and are actually pretty competitive. The online tools were simple to use and understand.     Lending Tree was very to apply for a business loan right over the internet. They made it very simple and they also offer phone support if needed. I filled out an easy online form with basic information, then I had to put in more personal info like SS number for credit. Overall it was a very easy process. I had a 10 year term with a 7% rate which is not bad at all in my opinion. However your terms will depend on credit history. I also received several offers that I could choose from.     When you click submit on Lending Tree, they will send your information to as many institutions they can in order to achieve their purpose, which is to get you a loan. What they DO NOT TELL YOU is that many of these "lenders" they are sending your info to are just "third party" companies that will in turn send your information to as many as 5 different banks. Every step of the process requires a "hard copy" of your credit history. What Lending Tree does not tell you is that every time there is a "hard copy" request on your credit report, your credit score goes DOWN. In essence, Lending Tree's slogan is misleading, and will harm your credit. Bottom line: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! They will not help you, despite of the hundreds of "verified" good reviews.

    They are there every step of the way until you are happy. If at any time you do not agree or you want to change something or you feel you are getting ripped off, they are there and they will get you the best deal you could ever see hands down and then after you get the deal they will call and make sure you are happy and if there is anything they can do to help you. The application process was very simple fast and easy and they did all the work for you every step. You just have to give them the basic information and they do everything else. The rates and terms are the best you can get hands down. They make sure you are getting the best deal and they will show you that you are getting the best deal.     Easy to deal with no problems or excessive wait times to talk to someone. Would recommend to anyone I know. Without a doubt good customer skills, easy to understand. A little excessive but it's to be expected when dealing with loans and money. Could of been a little faster with a answer, with no credit problems. Maybe longer for someone with bad credit. Too high rates for the service you get. Would be even worse with bad credit. Too high when credit is good so maybe higher credit score customers might find better rates. Easy to understand with directory for different areas of website. Might be a little confusion in the log in area of website but pretty understandable for most people.

    Not understanding of everyday issues of human being in the United States of America. They discriminate against the younger entrepreneur in the free world, trying to grow on the startup of their new fresh company that expecting to soar the highest of high in the company. It was very stressful. Too much of my personal business was asked and I didn't appreciate. I felt my privacy and others around me including my parents and spouse business was ask pertaining to a loan that I ask for which was never of their concern. The rates were good. They were very doable and explained to me very precisely and accurate with no pushovers or shady business in the contract. When it came to the rates I was most satisfied.     I went onto the website to see about getting home mortgage rate quotes. After entering a lot of private information such as your social security number, you are lead to believe that you will get quotes. No, not true at all. Instead the website just tells you banks that will follow up with you. How about you say that upfront? Here I'm thinking I'll get an idea of what kind of rate I'll be expected to pay so that I can figure out what kind of house I can afford, but no, this is really just a lead generation site that helps banks find you. In addition, I get a follow up email from LendingTree with the following subject line: "Here are your home purchase loan offers for your records". So I open this email thinking that I'll finally get a quote. No, it's the same list of banks that will be contacting me. That's deceptive.

    First, I love how Lending Tree does not respond to any of the "negative" comments on this site. I have been looking for some time for a credit card consolidation loan. I have spent years pulling my life back together after the financial disaster known as 2009. I signed up for Credit Karma and was linked to Lending Tree. I have received countless emails and notices in the mail stating I was "pre-approved". Now, we all know that in itself is crap however, I finally decided to be an idiot (my fault) and apply. I was approve for several loans and all I needed to do was provide specific documentation to verify income. After tax returns, bank statements and several other documents were submitted, I inevitably was "denied". The worst part is they claim "pre-approval" will not affect your credit. Well, I was "approved" until I gave them all the documents requested but now that I am denied... It shows up on my credit report.

    Thank you Lending Tree for calling me to discuss (which you didn't) and completely lying to me when I was "approved" after submitting my SS# (I know you pulled my credit report) and then denying me after I sent you what you asked for. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY... IT IS A SCAM! All they want is to obtain personal information. God only knows what they are going to do with it. I will be sending letters this weekend asking for them to stop sending me offers in the mail and I want the email harassment to stop. Message received... I am not good enough for you. I will go to a "real" bank from now on.

    The customer support is nice people. There always someone there to help you out if you have any question. They also good about explain to you about your loan. I am very happy about them. The application process was very easy. You just had to fill out online then you call them to find out if you was approve or not but they was very nice to you and they talk with you and walk you through the process. The rate and terms are good. It is not like a credit card with high rate. It pretty good with the rates and terms. I would always use this company if I need them again. The online tools are very easy to use and there is always a online person to help you or answer and question if you have any. They make sure you understand before you sign out with them. It is good to have some know what to do.

    I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the application process was. The loan helped me immensely in growing my business. I went to a long process with other companies, a few of them were not very helpful. The others there right was too high. They're very helpful and very friendly.     I started to fill out the online form to get mortgage rates, but stopped as soon as my SSN was requested. I did not feel comfortable entering that information online and it made me change my mind about obtaining the rates. On the same day I partially filled out the form, I started to receive phone calls from various lenders. I am receiving several calls a day and from what I've read on several sites, there is little I can do to stop it. I've also read the reviews that refer to the hard credit pulls (even without the SSN) and I am concerned that this will affect my credit score. I would like the phone calls and e-mails to stop and I want absolutely nothing to do with this company.

    The online application seemed decently straightforward, without many hidden/tricky questions. It set up a phone "interview" in order to further discuss terms. The phone call felt more confusing than the online information and ended up frustrating me enough that I thought twice about the entire process. I ended up pushing forward anyway and was able to get a loan, however, it had a higher interest rate than I was hoping for and a higher rate than what was told to me in my first phone call. If I did this process again, I would shop around more for a better rate.

    Two things:

    The process is somewhat confusing because:

    #1) When you signup to comparison shop - they list five companies with their rates & fees.

    >>>The first company that called me back - which I'm not for certain their name since this was over 2 weeks ago... - they don't have the same information as you share. It really does vary from company to company. WHAT was surprising - was that the first company I spoke with - gave me their recommended rate along with enormous closing costs.

    #2) The second company that called me back was Amerisave... THEY actually gave me a list of their rates & closing costs. I chose a little bit higher interest rate (but still a point lower than my current rate) - in exchange for closing costs to be paid for. That was a shock. THEY paid a large chunk of my closing costs where I come to the table with $0 or $100.. something like that.

    I wrote my current review right after #1 contacted me.

    If #2 never contacted me - then, I would be left with a bad taste in my mouth...but lucky for me, they came through.

    Personally, I think to have a list of companies, rates, closing costs AND then, when those companies called - they should have access to those same rates/fees so we can both be on the same page.

    Applied for a $1000 loan. Yes my credit sucks. 500. Score. Lending Tree is just a bunch of crap. All they did was send my info to payday loan sites!!! Which I get 35-40 emails a day cause of these idiots! I did not ask for one of these loans. 1000% interest on some of them. Don't do business with Lending Tree... They are not there to help. They make promises they can't keep!!! Oh and I was willing to give them $200 a week till it was paid... Still turned me down. Wow. Got a loan from another company who had no problem with my offer... Now I can borrow from this company anytime I want! Even with bad credit!! And it's not a payday company. It's a installment loan. Works great for me. Some of you should try it! :)

    Lending Tree is all about helping those who have means of helping themselves. It's not for someone like me who struggles with bills and unexpected expenses on a daily basis. They don't help the one who struggle with debt and consequently have a very bad credit score. Banks everywhere have shun me because of bad credit and Lending Tree gave me hope to get relief from debt by lowering it, but like all banks it shut me out! I really thought Lending Tree would work with me, but if you are like me and have bad credit then don't go to them. It's a huge disappointment.

Denied the second time just recently. Receive offers through mail almost every day. Unsure why since they always deny. Mail always says "pre-approved" and can't get them to stop sending for some reason.

    Lending Tree sold my info to many, many companies. One of those companies was IFS. IFS then added 3 hard inquiries on my credit reports all within 6 days. I did not apply for IFS, but because Lending Tree sent my info 3 times to them I am screwed!! There has to be a law against this!

    I was referred to Lending Tree by Credit Karma. I went to the site just to compare rates. All of a sudden they want ALL my personal info!!! A hard inquiry on my credit report was done and soon after ALL my personal info was given out to lenders. Receive hundreds of emails weekly and unsolicited phone calls from SCAM lenders I have never even heard of. I tried one suggestion and got denied. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AD!!!

    I went online for very general information on lower mortgages rates (clicked on a link for HARP) which brought me to lending tree's site. On the first page it said no signing up, no ssn number, just fill in info to see rates - which is what I was looking for. So I filled in some basic information about myself. When it got to my phone number, it said "by giving your # you consent to be contacted." I clicked the "next" button, hoping to see rates for home refinance. Instead, I was taken to a page of "preferred lenders" with no real specific rate information. And immediately my phone began to ring from lending tree lenders. And not once. And not twice. Not even three times. SEVEN TIMES in less than 24 HOURS. 3 calls in 2 hours! Voice mails and emails also. Is this what Lending Tree considers good business? No thanks. Just from this experience alone, I will never use Lending Tree for any lending needs - now or in the future.

    Was blasted with phone calls and emails as I was waiting for the different rates from the various companies to pop up on the screen. They never did. Also, my credit score was reflected as 50 points lower than it is. I'm not happy that I'm taking a hard hit on my credit report from doing the search on Lending Tree, and I imagine I've also signed myself up for all kinds of nonsense emails and phone calls. I'm actually worse off than when I started. All I wanted to do was get a quote on refinancing my auto loan. I won't use them again.

    I went on their website to check loan mortgage loans rates (8pm). It led me to setting up an online account. When it got to the part about entering my SS# I closed out of the website because I did not feel comfortable entering my SS number on a website. At 8am the next morning, I received a call from a mortgage company stating they received my information from Lending Tree. Why would Lending Tree distribute my information without even knowing all of my information? Then I looked up reviews on the company and was scared by all the negative information. No way will I use them again.

    I checked my credit on Lending Tree because I was getting ready to purchase a car this fall. I had good rating, and figured it would be higher than that by time to purchase car. Checked last night and my credit rating has fallen sixty points. Interesting notes state too many derogatory remarks (late payments or missed payments). I spent three hours checking all the credit bureaus. No late payments. Use of available credit under thirty percent. Absolutely no reason for a drop in my credit rating. I am trying to decide whether or not to spend any more time contacting them, and will ascertain whether or not their reporting is going to affect my loan search for a car. I am absolutely outraged that this has occurred.

    I have seen many ads for Lending Tree and it appears to be a reputable site. So without doing a review of their services, I signed up for an auto loan. The two that I received were not reputable companies. I immediately called them and asked them to stop looking for a loan for me. Their website is terrible. You can't really control the offers, i.e. cancel, or even look at the offers. It just says, call the company or the rates were not great. I have great credit as I looked before I applied. I would say this is a company that doesn't really offer what they say they are going to offer.

    I am a first time home buyer. I have been married for 15 years and have two kids. My husband and I are finally eligible to buy our own FIRST house. However, I have never applied for loans before, so I decided to get some help from 'EXPERTS' I guess. Anyway, I signed up for Lending Tree to see my pre-qualification numbers. While I was putting my information, I swear to god that I have never enter my husband's full social numbers. It only asked last 4 digits. But somehow two out of five mortgage companies had his full social numbers (I found that out with a mortgage agent and she said it was hand out from LENDING TREE).

    I called Lending Tree right away and I was able to speak with a manager. She said she has NO idea how they got the SN and handed to other companies (Oh well, if you don't know, who should I ask?). Anyway, my husband had credit score 822 before Lending Tree and now he has 764 after they handed his social numbers to everyone. I strongly suggest you to KEEP AWAY from this ** company.

    My wife and I decided to refinance for a lower rate. We did some research and found Lending Tree. Recommended financial institutions were obtained through their network and Peoples Bank (Banking Unusual) in Florida was chosen. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE!!! We began our 90 days refi in middle June 2015, it finally ended October 24th 2015. I can't begin to tell you how many issues we had with these people. Our names being spelled incorrectly (docs returned), incorrect interest rate (docs returned), had to resubmit our proof of payment for the home appraisal twice because they didn't have it, although they required us to pay it up front before the process could continue. Had to resubmit our proof of payment for a termite inspection that was required by the VA. All of these items I had proof they received due to sending via email with read and delivered receipts.

    The payoff quote they received from the current mortgage holder ran out due to their incompetence which then I had to pay the balance ($165.00) to finish the payoff. The checks sent to lenders (some of them) never made it to the creditor, the checks were then cancelled and new ones sent to me so I could send them out. Yes, they were then received. Originally the dept who had the final say in the loan being approved said we needed to pay of $1,500 in debt to get under the DTI (debt to income) ratio. That was the Friday prior to Labor Day. Two weeks later we were told that now that number was over $20,000. When we asked why we were not informed because the closing date had again passed (3rd time) they passed the buck from Chad ** (bank manager) to the finance dept to the title dept. Everyone had an excuse.

    When it came down to the day before the signing day there was another problem. When I contacted Chad about it his comment via email was this "check your mail in a couple days for my apology card ;)." Suffice to say I was not amused by his comment. Run, do not walk, as fast as you can away from these people!! We have NEVER, EVER, had a mortgage loan or refi take over 40-45 days. These clowns take it to a new level. If after all I've said here you still want to use a Lending Tree recommended lender called Peoples Bank (Banking Unusual) in Florida, here is the phone number **. Good luck to you, you'll need it.

Did it twice, and nothing. Did you forget your password, No... So no reply from customer service at all. They just ignore you if you're not perfect I guess. The working man hasn't got a chance. They want you to buy, but won't give you loan. They want you to work, but don't pay enough. Ironic. The banks went bust, got bailed out by the consumer, yet the banks won't help the consumer, and want to judge us and hold us to credit scores, when they have -zero in credit...

    I typed in a google search for loans for poor credit. Lending Tree came up. All they did was send me Springleaf and they denied me for a $5000 loan because I had no collateral. This is ridiculous. If I had "collateral" I probably wouldn't need a loan. ;(

    Great TV ad and the banks definitely come crawling to you. More like annoy the crap out you. Within 2 minutes of completing the registration, received a call, then another and another. 25 calls within 48hrs and several emails. When this happens, no one can trust Lending Tree. It's borderline harassment. Normally I check a company out thoroughly before signing up, but hey I made a lazy mistake here and definitely regret it.

    If I could give them no stars, I would. I, like everyone else it seems, have been harassed unmercifully by the lenders, even after telling them to quit calling and blocking their calls. When I block one number, they simply call from another extension. I too have literally received dozens of phone calls in just a few days. And there's apparently no way to make it stop.

    I called them for a quote for a reverse mortgage but they didn't offer enough. Now every time I turn on my computer, LendingTree is staring at me from my screen. Ad Choices can't even get rid of them or emailing them. Would never use them.

    Lending Tree states they can give you a loan no matter what even if your credit score is low. How can I improve my credit if no will give me a break? They turned me down. I am trying to get out of debt. A loan would make all the difference. I could pay off my big debts and have only one payment instead of several payments. Thank you for your time.

    I was requesting student loan information and the auto loan request kept populating. I only gave the last 4 of my social and did not authorize a credit request yet they searched for complete information and had RateGenius run a hard inquiry. I called customer service who eventually said they would ask that it be removed and copy me on the email and it would be done in the next 15 minutes. They lied. Beware of even requesting information, they hunt down your personal information and run hard inquiries.

    I thought they would send me a list of lenders/banks in my area. I was interested in knowing what is around because I just moved. Instead, they sold my info to tons of companies that I never even heard of, all of which ran a credit inquiry and application and really hurt my credit. I wasn't even interested in refi or anything. I called Lending Tree and let them know that this was misleading, they pulled my account but said there is nothing they can do and to contact all of the providers that end up hitting my Credit Report and that the individual companies and banks can reverse the apps and inquiries.

    Started calling them as requested to do by both Lending Tree and Experian. They wouldn't do anything for me. No one in their right mind would allow 20 companies to hit their credit at once. I honestly thought Lending Tree would send me a list of lenders. Or AT WORST do 1 inquiry that they send to lenders to see if I would be a good candidate for them. Worst scam ever.

    The service did not help me at all. Supposed my score is good at 759 but none of the loans could give me the amount or a good rate. Also, for some reason when trying to unsubscribe of course it don't let you. And of course to modify my subscription it don't let you. Please do not contact me unless this plan can give me the rate you advertise with. Not one of the loan offers was below 14% interest. This is a scam and should have did my research before trying to sign up. They do not allow to unsubscribe.

    Think again before you sign on to Lending Tree. Opened an account several weeks ago to simply look at what mortgage lenders and rates were. I have now been inundated and harassed with multiple calls and emails daily for several weeks. I have received multiple phone calls from the same mortgage company but different lenders which only further proves Lending Tree is a pariah for mortgage desk jockeys who have less than admirable abilities to find new business.

    Furthermore, my information has probably been sold multiple times to various lists for further harassment by less the scrupulous lenders as now it's getting to the point I don't even recognize many of the company names I saw on Lending Trees site. LAST, there is no way to QUIT or UNSUBSCRIBE on their website. Unfortunately, the damage has already been done and I've been placed in the position of changing phone numbers and email address. Run fast the opposite direction from Lending Tree.

    Stay away from Lending Tree. I received four robocalls BEFORE I EVEN COMPLETED THE ONLINE FORM! And they didn't stop: 30+ calls in 3 days from 8 different lenders. Never an actual person; always a predictive dialer from a boiler room with at least a 3-second gap. Good thing I can set the phone to auto-reject.

    I submitted a request for a mortgage's interest rate quote and I have been harassed by phone calls, day and night. It is just call, after call, after call. I even have people calling that have nothing to do with mortgages. I feel they have given my information out to telemarketers. Forget the "do not call" list, they don't use numbers that you can report. Stay far, far, away from these people.

    After submitting an online application to LendingTree for a refinance, I have been flooded with telemarketers. Some call every day. This has been going on for 1-1/2 years. Just never stops. I asked to be taken off their call list, and they just call back the next day. I will never use LendingTree.

    Once I submit my inquiry to see what they can offer, at least 8 different mortgage brokers keep calling. The worst part is some of them even pull my credit report without my authorization, my credit score drop from 798 to 754 within two weeks because of multiple inquiries in short time, costing me at least $8000 on extra interest and points I have to paid for my new mortgage. Never ever give your SS # to Lending Tree! They are not to be trusted!!!

    I contacted your agency for a secondary mortgage. You gave me a contact in Louisville Ky called Swansons agency. They did not have a clue on how to obtain a mortgage for me. The first agent gave up because it was too complicated. Then the second agent contacted me and asked the same questions the first one did. They could not even save the results and information that the first agent had. What a waste of time!!!
