I entered info about myself and my house to get competitive rates on Home Equity Loans. Instead, within second of finishing the LendingTree form, seven loan officers from different banks tried to call me. LendingTree provided nothing except my phone number to their bank subscribers. Do not use unless you like to have your phone line tied up.

I thought about Lending Tree for awhile. I read tons of reviews and just couldn't make a decision. So one day I decided to try Lending Tree. It took about 5/6 minutes tops. I was completely surprised with the painless process. I received my offers immediately. I still sat on the offers for a couple of days still thinking "what's the catch". One I chose the offer that was suited best for me, it took another 10 or 15 minutes to upload proof of income and other documents. Within a week I received my funds and was able to pay off debt and start a life to my financial freedom. I couldn't be more pleased with the process. It may not work for everyone but it definitely was a life saver for me.

The process was a pleasant experience. I appreciated receiving the information and the replies. I was able to submit the documents that were requested. I received a reply to my request within days after completing the information they requested. I did not see an account number when I went online to see the statement.

Help me get house hold supplies and make home improvements. My ceiling has a big hole in the roof and I need to fix it but I'm in need for a loan to proceed with the repairs. I'm unable to get it done by paycheck to paycheck that's why I'm asking for this loan. I'm afraid if it happens to fall one of my children might end up getting hurt from the ceiling falling down. It's crumbling more and more each day.

I went on Lending Tree to look at different rates to refinance my car. Soon as I entered the information - I get multiple alerts from Experian that multiple lenders put hard inquiries on my credit report without my knowledge! Thanks a lot Lending tree. Now I'll never be able to refinance. Just spent the last 8 months trying to get my credit up for you to ruin it in 8 seconds.

My experience was really good. They were very helpful and the process was fast and easy. I do plan to pay off early because of interest rate but they got me out of a bind and I highly recommend them if you need a loan fast but plan to pay it off early.

I filled out the required information in the Lending Tree website believing that I would simply receive information from Lending Tree regarding home refinancing rates. Instead, after a few minutes of completing the information on their website, a deluge of phone calls began coming in. This was on a Sunday, 15 calls received just on this day. Next day calls started coming in at 1:45 AM (I live in Honolulu, not that these companies even bother to check) and it has been nonstop. I am getting a lot of phone calls, a lot of hang ups and a lot of pushy sales people from all kinds of lenders who don't seem to understand what "Do not call me and get me off your list" means. I assume the company sells my information as a referral, I would like to call its CEO in the same fashion and try to make a buck off him using the same approach. Pretty please give me his/her phone number.

The process was timeless and they provided me with all the information I needed to help me secure a loan that was just right for my needs. I keep trying this website to no avail. I don't know why they keep emailing me with offers and then deny me every time. I wish they would just stop sending me bogus offers. If you are not going to give me a loan then please stop bothering me. Thank you.

So far I am satisfied with how well this is all going. It's very easy and self explanatory. The only problem I have at this point is that I have no idea if I got approved and don't know how much the loan is going to be. Overall, I am fairly pleased.

LOAN EXPLORER: Doesn't exist. WARNING: DON'T PUT IN ANY INFORMATION TO THE WEB SITE!! After putting in preliminary information requested including the last 4 digits of the Social Security number, we began receiving phone calls and emails within a minute. When talking to one of the responding companies, I discovered that although I had put in the last 4 digits of the SS#, this company had all 9 digits of the SS#. I was so upset, I called Lending Tree and asked to speak with a supervisor. I have now been on hold for 45 minutes. GO TO A LOCAL BANK. LENDING TREE IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

After entering my info and the amount I was seeking to borrow to pay off credit card and IRS debt Lending Tree showed me multiple offers from different lenders. After applying for a loan to several of the offers I got denied for a loan on all of them. Thanks for running my credit and showing me lenders that had offers for me when it was all false.

I was under the impression from their advertisements that I would fill out the forms and be presented with rates & other information to review. Within moments of submitting, 2 phone calls came through to my cell phone, and I have received 20 phone calls in the past 72 hours - many of them repeats, calling multiple times a day, and often back-to-back if I decline the call. THIS IS HARASSMENT. Despite my attempts at contacting Lending Tree to have them disable my profile and place me on Do-Not-Contact lists, the calls and emails continue to come in. Unless you want to be absolutely inundated with harassing phone calls from fast-talking pitch-men spewing the same canned messages, DO NOT USE Lending Tree.

I was looking for a small business loan for my coffee show in LA, and came across Currency Capital. The loan has helped our business with expansion and the process has been pretty seamless. They have great customer support.

Loan was approved & settle without delay & hassle. Very pleased. I would recommend others to take advantage of the low monthly payment loans and the great service you offer. Staff was very pleasant and helpful when the need was. I most likely use Lending Tree in the future, should the need be.

We were pre-approved for a mortgage with First Alliance Lending Through Lending Tree. The approval amount $260,000. Alexis ** was our submission coordinator. Shawn was our loan officer. We spoke with Shawn once and the rest of the time was spent with Alexis **. We started with this company in December 2016. We were doing a different loan for $259,000. When they came back with how much the payments would be we immediately said no we didn't want our payments to be this expensive. We ask what price did we need to stay in to get our payments lower. We were told $235,000.

Great experience and I will keep you in mind if anyone needs financial help. It was a fast response. When I needed some immediate help you all came through with flying colors. I will always keep you all in my hip pocket for future endeavors. God bless you all and have a great Easter Weekend.

Great online experience. Site navigation simple and straightforward. Slightly slow with the back and forth. But very satisfied overall. Happy to have the opportunity to get a handle on my debt which allows me to plan for my future. Reasonable terms and conditions with regards to the loan. Simple to submit paperwork.

Lending Tree was very helpful with all my needs including in depth details of interest rates and options. The online tools really help me with the reminders and exactly how the process works so overall I am happy with their website app and tools. The application process required a lot of things and took a while, but I understand their need to be thorough. As with any loans from a financial institution, the rates will be difficult to swallow but Lending Tree made it in a way that I could handle. I would definitely recommend them.

I need a roof & to pay some utilities up. I don't make enough to pay to get it done a Month so I need help. I do owe on my house. The deed is in my name. When I did a check I could get this & only pay $76 a month. Please check & let me know. But I only want to know if I can. If not don't bother me. Thank you.

It was a good experience. Everything went smooth. And everyone was very help. When I called the staff there was able to answer all my question. And the process only took about a week. The process was very easy because you don't have to go into an office. Everything is done right online.

Was able to do all the searching and comparing of different companies to find one with the best rate. Read everything I could to get the best deal I could get for me. Very stressful but worked out in the long run. Was a higher rate than I expected but was the best rate I found after searching for a few months. Had to talk to a lot of different people. Gave all my info and signed a ton of paperwork. Had a stack of paperwork 3 inches deep and was very detailed with my business plan. Got copies of business financials and my ID along with everything that was needed. Took too much time to fill out all the paperwork and get the financials together along with applying for the loan to get approved but well worth it. My business plan was perfect and had financials ready to go along with my home deed and copies of everything we needed.

From start to finish everyone I have worked with has been very professional and efficient. I have a little trouble logging in and the team was excellent and very helpful. Thank you for helping me to pay off my higher credit card debt for a very reasonable rate. My debt will be gone in more than half the time. Thanks again.

The people at LendingTree were both professional and courteous. They would explain the terms of the loan thoroughly and I always felt like I knew what I was doing. I definitely have more confidence and knowledge that I had previously. Also, the application was so easy to do that my wife was able to handle the rest. Our loan officer Carol did a fantastic job of helping Janet. She was relaxed and never felt overwhelmed.

It was a quick form filled out online and everything was done from the convenience of my home. I was able to check on my application process from my account page and once the loan was approved I was able to pay and view bills online. The site has everything you need to stay up to date on top of your loan.

The application process for a personal loan through Lending Tree was extremely easy, user friendly and quick. I received a notice of approval within a couple of weeks (sure my credit score had something to do with the delay) and the money was in my account 4 days later. Lending Tree has a very bad business model. I was trying to compare different auto loan refinance providers and their rates on Lending Tree. While filling the options on their website, they asked me for my personal information (including JUST the last 4 of my SSN). I assumed that these questions are asked to provide me with a better quote, but without making it explicit they sold my information to a bunch of lenders. In the next couple of days I got a total of over 10 credit inquiries across the three credit agencies, negatively impacting my credit score.

I called in need of assistance and the customer service representative was very accurate and kind. I had to get my credit report and set time aside to talk to a agent. I needed to have all my plans set with accurate information. I also needed references. And I was able to get the information I needed in order to get the best loan for my business. They have Quick response to lender requests. It helps keep the process on schedule. My rates were decent and affordable as well. I was able to get ahead of payments which was appreciated by the company. I was able to apply for another loan which was appreciated.

I had a excellent experience with those lenders that provided me loans. One of the greatest ever and definitely appreciate the Lending Tree approach of bringing these lenders to the table. This is an experience that I would in fact share with family and friends. Everything I needed to see upfront concerning my loans were easy to see and understand. It was a slow process with little contact with a human being that spoke English well. Felt like I was taken advantage of and didn't receive any response from manager. Decent rates but fees were ridiculous and over priced. No forgiveness or understanding. Even with 24 months of on time payments. Very unhappy. Also, multiple website security issues and was extremely unreliable. Site was unavailable too many times and nothing was told about the amount of loss. The only reason I am not ready to give you the best review of the day is because I couldn't get a hold of a person. It was impossible to get through by phone.

Customer service is great. They are all super friendly and help you figure out whatever issue you may have. Each time I have called I have never dealt with an ill or angry agent. The application process is pretty long but they are super helpful and it's not hard to get the information you need to get approved. Everything is common sense and easy to do yourself. They offer many options for you to do online and on your own. You can check your status, pay your payments or see the balance remaining. It's also easy to navigate and understand. For someone who started out with horrible credit trying to start a construction business I can not complain about the rates of the loan. It's super affordable and not out of monthly budget price range.

Dont waste your time. Just wanted a couple of lenders to give me offers, what I got was a bunch of unsolicited calls for credit repair. Poor business practices to give my information to companies for services I didnt ask for. Will not recommend or deal with this place again.

I went through a divorce and 2 weeks before they changed the law on credit cards but I always believed if I bought something it's my responsibility to pay it back. Some at my church told me about this couple where I could combine my credit cards into my mortgage and I believe that was the worst thing that I could have done combining my credit card into my mortgage.

I signed up for Lending Tree to hear about some refinance rates for my home. What I didn't sign up for were dozens of phone calls from automated machines, and other random people who had nothing to do with Lending Tree or affiliated companies. I would chalk it up to random occurrence but now receive 3 or 4 phone calls a day from numbers all across the US, that hadn't happened before I signed up for them. I suspect they aren't confidential with your contact information and it has been an annoyance. I only signed up for this website so I could leave a negative review. Would give 0 stars if I could. Go to your local credit union or bank instead.

I was very happy with the process and the quick response. I also liked the smooth transition of the funds being placed in my checking account in a timely matter. I am very happy with the experience. I would recommend this type of loan process to someone else.

I originally wanted to go with BOA to refinance my loan, but when gave me all the numbers (rate, year, etc.), I thought it wasn't at a market value. I tried couple others lenders but still felt it wasn't what I'm looking for. Then I decided to try out lendingtree.com and after a few clicks, I received much better offers. And what I like most is that the lender (AmeriSafe) of top offer actually call me and I end up locking in the rate in just few hours after filling out application, reviewing carefully everything and signing documents. I really recommend everyone to try this site before refinancing your house.

Some of the credit cards I am only an authorized user not responsible for payment nor credit use and until recently it did not show my previous credit on bank loans that were paid off. When it did my score jumped. I was turned down because of it. I like to be able to see my credit.

I was convinced by great online reviews that the Lending Tree is a good place to find loan rates. The result is that this is day 2 of DOZENS of companies abusing my cell phone. They literally won't stop calling. And the rates they promised to show - I haven't seen one yet. Not on their site and not emailed to me. This is just a bad business practice. Nobody pushes me to get this loan I need badly. I need to fix a few things in my house that needs repair very badly and plus I need to catch up on some of my rent and some bills are killing me. I need new floors and new bathroom tub and a new paint job though the whole house downstairs and upstairs.

The experience (refinancing) has been fair in filling out the information. I haven't use this form before and it simple and self explanatory. I looking something that fit ours needs. This has been such a very easy process. I have some credit issues but I'm trying to fix that. Lending Tree tried everything they could to get me approved. Against my better judgment while on another website I filled out a mortgage rate estimate from a Lending Tree advertisement. The ad simply stated that if I filled out information, there would be no credit check but I would get an estimated refi rate. Well I did receive that as soon as I filled out my information.... then the calls, texts and emails started like an avalanche. I received over 4 calls per hour over the next 12 hours, all from random mortgage companies around the country. A few of them called literally every 3 minutes for about a dozen attempts. Not a great thing when I am on scene performing CPR on a patient while on duty as a firefighter. I must have my volume up while on duty as to receive communication from other department members so silencing was it an option.

It was a nice experience. No one rushing you and taking time to answer my questions. I was pleased with the manner in which they tested me not acting like it is my fault. I need a short loan... they were kind and courteous and said "yes ma’am", "no ma’am". All in all it was one of my better experiences with borrowing money. Thank you.

Would like to pay medical bills off and credit cards bills. I can better afford 1 monthly payment versus multiple payments. My overall balances are low but as a total they are too much for me to immediately pay off. I believe my payment history is almost perfect and I could afford the payment.

They did a good job of explaining everything in words the average person could understand. The best thing I can tell you is do not buy the first deal you get. Shop around. Your needs will probably be different than ours. Good luck.

Need the check for business purposes having to make a business that everybody will love, commitment to my success and attributes for customer satisfaction. Like they say my home is yours and you're welcome anytime. Plus apr is low and will successfully pay it off within 6 months so you can be satisfied and I will to and for further business I will propose new consultants to you that have money and will pay the apr your lenders have.

I started investigating a loans and entered some basic information into the lendingtree website. I stopped short of completing the process, but had provided my phone number. I receive 5 phone calls in under 2 minutes from clicking cancel on their website inquiring about my interest. I did not give this company my consent to immediately broadcast my information, especially given that I cancelled out of their signup process! Their website doesn't offer much in the way of support. No real email address to contact, only a 1800 number, which is currently closed. The biggest problem is that they provide ZERO guidance and how to delete or cancel an account. If anyone from LendingTree is listening, I would be very grateful if you could help resolve this issue.

Fast, first class service, reasonable rates. They provided what they described. Sad that the competition sees the need to exaggerate and misrepresent what they offer. Not so with Lending Tree. No big problems that are brushed aside with some weak excuse. No bait and switch. No slight of hand. Just straight talk and realistic results.

Placed a phone call today at 3:00 PM (EST) to gather mortgage information for my 77 year old mother looking for a large credit line for a home owned free & clear. I advised Customer Service that I'm beginning the process of fact finding on my mother's behalf as I am in the industry; however, we don't offer credit lines. Customer Service agent was rude & refused to answer any questions without speaking with my mother? Bear in mind that NO application was ever generated and this was merely a fact finding general inquiry. *A service that ANY professional mortgage rep should be able to answer. VERY poor service! If you're a consumer looking to shop for best rate & term, it would be wise to look elsewhere!

I successfully completed the online application, but I was never contacted again by Lending Tree. Therefore, my experience with Lending Tree was unsatisfactory. I expected more from a highly rated organization. I spent my valuable time following the rules of Lending Tree, but was not accorded the respect to even receive a reply.

Lending Tree DOES NOT RESPECT YOUR PRIVACY. I received several unwanted phone calls IMMEDIATELY after entering my phone number in the process to get rates. I had not even finished inputting data like my social security number when my phone started ringing. Six calls from banks right away. At each step the website says Lending Tree respects my privacy and does not share my data without my permission. LENDING TREE LIES!! They sold my phone number to several banks immediately after I typed it in. UNETHICAL!! If you want dozens of unwanted sales calls, go ahead and give Lending Tree your phone number- try it, you'll see! Nightmare.

My experience during the entire loan process was very well executed, the service was greater than I expected to be with all the documents needed and how well the format was designed online was 100% perfection. I can express how happy I'm to be part of this organization and this relation will grow between us. Thanks Lending Tree for allowing me to grow as time permits to better my revenues and accounts. This will become the beginning of my career to grow. Thanks again for the awesome service and account executives for business and support.

My intention is to pay off all small debts. With just one loan co. pmt. This application was easy to read and questions were fair. It is my goal to alleviate small debts, with the end result being one pmt. Other than Rent, power, and groceries. Furthermore, to keep building and secure credit to excellent.

We utilized the service of Lendingtree.com to find a competitive rate to refinance our mortgage. We were put in touch with a mortgage broker called LoanDepot. They botched processing our loan. It took them over two months to process our loan and caused our rate lock to expire. We will end up with a rate that is almost a full percentage point over what we locked at (through another lender of course). We spoke with five different manager at LoanDepot and not one could offer any explanation as to why our file took so long to process. We did not save anything by using Lending Tree!! Over the life of our loan, it will likely cost us tens of thousands of dollars because of LoanDepot.

When I decided just see what rates I could get and being told by Lending Tree's sign up form that entering my last 4 digits will not be used for a credit pull and they did exact that, unauthorized then this is a crime on my privacy and credit score. Lending Tree is destroying people's credit scores on purpose. I will contact the 3 credit monitoring bureaus and report identity theft by Lending Tree.

The loan companies have denied all my applications. I am not satisfied with the loan companies' results especially why I have been denied so many times. And they kept asking me to apply for their loans. And that is where I am puzzle with the loans. And I believe there are other good services who are willing to help people to meet their needs.

I started college full time. As I was going to school. It became really expensive. I had to pause school, due to stress of all the bills I have to pay off. I did fill out few applications waiting on them to call back. Then my friend suggested that I should try and apply for Lending Tree. This was quick, easy, and right in front of me. I just wish you guys could loan me some cash and I can't believe how these hard inquiries have dropped my credit score so low. This is the very lowest my credit score had ever been. There was no help in getting me a loan. No hands on experience with talking wth someone live. No letter or anything letting me know if I got the loan or not. I would really appreciate it very much if there was someone there to talk to or help. An actual person. Who can guide me in the steps to qualify or get the loan.

I used lendingtree.com for the first time to explore options for a home equity loan. My primary questions are about the terms available, for example, interest rate and length of loan. Within a few seconds, my phone began to ring. I've received 22 phone calls so far, and only one of the callers has left voice mail. Some of the callers have tried more than 5 times within the first few hours. I still don't have answers to my questions; after answering the phone once, the person who called seemed completely uninformed and unable to tell me anything.

Lending Tree is full of vultures waiting to pounce on their prey. I signed up for one quote from a firm of theirs in TX. I got 50 phone calls on my cell and been spammed by hundreds of emails that luckily got trapped in my spam box. Then the quote that was supposed to come in as 3.2% came in as 3.8. What a rip-off. I have the report of spam emails that I am still getting. Also still getting calls from lending agencies 4 weeks later. Please Stop!

I went online to file an application and it is a lot of paperwork to complete. Since I didn't have everything I needed to complete the process I had to stop. When I usually stop I never go back to complete. I just wish there were links to pull in information and research to make the process easier. The easier the more people would use your services.

Signed up for Lending Tree as I'm preparing to build a new home. Within 5 minutes of signing up I began receiving numerous phone calls, both spam and actual banks. I've now received somewhere along the lines of 15 calls in under an hour. I attempted to log back into Lending Tree in an attempt to close the account but it won't let me log in and it appears it's nearly impossible to delete your account from what I've found online. I wouldn't recommend anyone using this site.

Not satisfied and tired of having to keep applying and not getting a response. You keep telling me that I'm approved for a loan from 800 to 1000. But I have not seen any resolve in my loan. I just need to pay off some bills that I'm behind. So give me the loan that I need or quit emailing me that I am pre-approved.

I could have spent the three weeks finding a loan with a reputable lender, but instead I wasted my time here. My loan request was accepted and approved, and I submitted all my documents within a few minutes... and then waited 2 weeks just to hear that they couldn't deposit the money in my account, could I please re-enter my account info, which I did.

I went to Lending Tree last Friday specifically because I wanted a HELOC. Starting at 7 am on Saturday morning, I started receiving numerous calls each day on my personal cell phone, though I had indicated I preferred email. The worst part is, when I take the time to actually speak to these banks, 9 out of 10 don't even offer HELOC, which is the only kind of loan I am interested in, as was clearly conveyed in what I submitted. My hope was to enter the required info and get rate estimates from a number of lenders. Instead I got one rate estimate on-line and a huge number of spam emails and phone calls from banks who wasted large amounts of my time before giving me the information I need, or informing me they can't give me the only kind of loan I want (a HELOC), instead trying to sell me on a cash-out refinance (which I don't want).

I expected to only see information online, not get dozens of calls. It was disruptive and if I wanted to share information with that many companies I would do that on own, with companies I selected - at a time I selected. I am worried about what was being done with my information. Even when I called them right after I got the first call to withdraw my information and shut down any calls, they kept coming. This is very misleading. The website and when asking for information constantly talked about protecting your information and privacy, and neither of those things occurred. Worried about my information. And if they did submit anything to credit reporting companies that might actually damage my ability to secure a home loan at the best rate.

The whole process was very easy and took less time for me to drink a cup of coffee. The customer service rep that I contacted was very knowledgeable and honest. They made the whole process much less of a headache. The application process was so easy that I just had to fill out forms only one time and did not have to complete the process which was less time-consuming. The online tools also seemed very user-friendly and looked a lot easier than most as well. This was my first loan and the rates and terms were about average to other sites. I also like that the lenders come to you and you do not have to apply with each one.

I felt a bit misled by the information the Lending Tree provided. They asked to disclose a credit score and give you a range of which to your score falls under. My score did not fall in the lowest range. However out of the 5 lending companies recommended I was denied by all but one. That one, which has the lowest ratings could not offer me a loan according to my needs. And after I explained this to the rep I spoke with, I was inundated with emails from not only the rep I spoke with but FIVE other reps trying to offer me the same ridiculous loan offer! The Lending Tree should probably be more transparent and disclose that people with fair credit scores ranging below 700 may not be considered.

Excellent customer service. The agents are very helpful and friendly. With their knowledge and level of helpfulness, the application process was very simple. Also, all of the online tools were extremely helpful and made it faster and easier to complete the application. Any questions I may have had were easily solved by these tools or the customer service agents. The questions and forms were straightforward and easy to answer. Adding to that, the rates and terms are excellent. Although it depends on your level of credit, the rates are still lower than expected. The terms were also very agreeable.

I went through the process to refinance and the page that came up was completely blank. It only had Lending Tree down on the very bottom of the page. I did not get a response from Lending Tree regarding whether or not I am eligible for a loan. I look very forward to being able to refinance and I have been doing very well with paying my mortgage on time. I went through a rough patch, but have been doing so much better.

The rates and terms were within reason and no different from other places I look into including banks etc. I was happy with Lending Tree. I got loan and everything is automatically deducted from my accounts and it shows up on my bank statements straightforward to me.

I looked up auto refinancing and was brought to LendingTree. I read their FAQ which states they do a soft credit inquiry which does not impact credit scores. I filled out the information requested about my car, current loan, and personal income and was shown lenders which might work for me. I did not enter my social security number or actually apply for a loan but was notified via Experian that a hard inquiry was pulled by Roadloans. I called them and was told I was denied due to my car not being 2010 or newer. They said they wouldn't have even pulled my report once they got my vehicle info, so Lendingtree had made the inquiry on their behalf. Lendingtree told me that I authorized them to make a hard inquiry by inputting the last 4 of my social to confirm my identity. The FAQ clearly states they make a soft inquiry, but that was not the case.

Followed an offer on lendingtree.com to see how much I pre-qualified for an auto loan. They stated that it would not have an impact on my credit report since it was a "softy inquiry." I did not provide my full social security number, only the last 4. Received multiple pre-qualified offers. Notice on my credit report that they were "HARD" inquiries from the lenders without my authorization.

I wanted to pay off my high interest credit cards, because the monthly payments don't seem to make a dent in the total debt owed. The online process was so simple and I thought too good to be true! I requested the amount I wanted. I had my choice of interest rates, monthly payments and length of the loan. I received my direct deposit within 5 days. My cards have been paid off and the interest rate on the loan is half of my credit card APR.

In response to an advertisement for auto loans with "great rates", I filled out the pages on the Lending Tree site, that did not include my social security, to find out what the going rates would be. Over the next few days, I received more than a dozen calls, most of which were hang ups, then follow up calls with rather impersonal messages to call back "quickly" as if I had done something wrong. Evidently the companies Lending Tree is associated with act more as collection agencies, and their tactics are rather thug like. As part of their "the only way I can help you is if I have your information, such as the last 4 of your social..." so, how do they have my social?? Well, it seems that if you call Lending Tree, they are VERY quick to point out you AGREED to let them give your personal info, including a social security number, to their partners. So, beware of what you get into with Lending Tree, and their partners.

First-time user of LendingTree. We all use the interest for the convenience of not having to sit on hold and deal with worthless sales agents via phone. Some of us like to use our mobile devices while sitting on the pot, or enjoying the weather outside. The last thing we want is 15 phone calls of multiple sales agents putting you on hold to transfer you to a mortgage agent. I wanted rates, not 15 phone calls LendingTree. Don't mislead customers telling them a quote is around the corner. I want my rate live, online, not via phone call. Lendingtree.com is a joke. Stay away unless you enjoy your phone ringing non-stop.

I requested a specific amount to borrow and received less than requested for some fees of some sort. Not happy at all about that. Because of that I am unable to consolidate all of what I intended. I would rather the loan amount increased to cover fees. That way I could have consolidated what I intended.

I don't understand, I went to the review guidelines, but don't get it. I do wish I understood what is expected of me, thank you. You have to have a college degree or two to fill out one of these loan applications or to understand what the guidelines trying to say.

Need Harp program. We are not making ends meet with our bills and our house payment, electric, gas, water, phone, cable, sewage. I'm on disability Social Security. Wife still works. We are just not making it. Got hurt at work. Workman's comp has consider maximum medical improvement so now I want on disability wishes just like Social Security. I get no money from workman's comp. They still want to do back surgery again after they take out $100 and 25 for insurance through the government.

In mid 2014, I used Lending Tree to find a better mortgage on one of my properties. I was contacted by phone and e-mail which is what I wanted. However, about a month later, I started receiving phishing e-mails from fake lenders trying to get me to click on a link that ends up getting more spam. These e-mails referenced the same property that I enquired about. I couldn't stop them as the e-mail address it was from changed daily and there's no real phone number. There is a link to unsubscribe but it's not real and causes more issues. Luckily my e-mail changed last year which stopped the spam. I never received any mortgage e-mails or spam on the new e-mail address for months.

I have found Lending Tree to be honest and upfront. They have secured two loans for me about a year apart when I had been denied several times by other local institutions because of poor credit. Thanks to these loans I am finally on my way back to a much better credit score. I was able to save over $500 a month on my monthly credit card bills. Thank you.

I was just requesting for more information on home equity from their website. One point they asked for my phone number. Immediately someone claimed calling from Lending Tree and said connecting me to a specialist. I gave the SSN and other information thinking that he is a LendingTree Representative. But, he is not, he is one of their Ohio lenders. Minutes after, I started getting calls from many other spam numbers. Go directly to the lenders website and apply. Never trust such cyber middle-men.

I signed up yesterday for a free credit score from Lending Tree. I created an account using my personal email and password and entered all of my personal financial information. Today, I received an update email from Lending Tree referencing the name 'Lola **' from South Carolina?? I logged in and was able to view all of her 'alleged' information. I immediately went in and canceled my account. This website has all the earmarks of a phishing site. BEWARE!!!

I have got a few loan from Lending Tree in the past and pay them all and on time, so I received an email saying that I could save some money by consolidating some bills, I went on the website and requested for a loan to pay all my credit cards and a loan that I have that I'm paying a high interest. The options that I got were not bad so when I went ahead with the company comes back as higher interest. Please be very careful with this company. There's other options out there a lot better. Very disappointed. I will tell members of my family and friends NOT to get any loans through Lending Tree.

I filled out Lending Tree's form to figure out possible interest rates. The page with the SSN entry said there would NOT be any credit hit. So far, I have RoadLoans ran "hard" credit report and I don't know what lender is going to do it next. Lending Tree must clearly state that there is a chance that lenders could run complete credit check and potentially harm customer's credit rating. If other lenders start running hard credit inquiries, they will lower my credit points by sheer number of requests!

Always said I was approved and never once did I ever receive loan forms to sign and finalize. Saw nothing in my direct deposit. To me it's a bunch of ** and a waste of everybody's time. You say that you approve people with bad credit I seriously don't think you ever have. I don't think it is a very nice thing to do get people's hopes up just to laugh at them.

I wasn't able to follow thru. It kept taking me back to my phone number. I knew it was correct, but I could not finish. Why would it not allow me to finish before you refused my loan of 400.00. I needed the loan to fix my truck's brake line. I had surgery and if there was an emergency I'd have my truck.

So far I have not been able to get a loan for debt consolidation so that I may improve my credit score. Not helped at all. I have filled many applications and have spent a lot of time on this. I have law firm working on my credit score. Had items removed that weren't even mine. Need a $2500.00 loan to finish it up. Was hoping Lending Tree could help in this matter but so far have been no help at all.

It was a very easy process. I am so glad that I've done this because now I can see that I am able to get my finances on track from this help. With this loan it allowed me to paid off most of my high balances credit card. I know I used to pay more than $1000 per month in credit cards debt and now with this loan I am sure it will be less than that. This will help me to save a little now.

NEVER give your information to lendingtree.com. After 30+ phone calls from every lender in the book I learned today that LendingTree SOLD my information. One of the last calls admitted that everyone buys this information from them and once obtained you are flooded with phone calls. I contacted LendingTree to stop this and they said they would but there was nothing they could do to the lenders that already had my information. The thing that grips me is that the initial results came back with a choice of lenders to choose from. I picked one and pursued refinancing with them. That should have been the end of it but no... the flood of calls came after. If you want my advice LendingTree, when a customer makes a selection from the presented choices that should be the end of it. Everything else is harassment.

I was thinking about refinancing my 2015 Crossover. I went on Lending Tree's site. I started to look at APR's. So I started to fill out an application, when I was asked to check a box so Lending Tree could do a credit check. I refused to check it. They ran my credit without my permission. Now I have 4 hard inquiries on my credit report. Do not trust them. They will give your SS# to anyone willing to give you a refinance. It will result in a negative impact on your credit. DON'T DO IT!

Loan request was processed in a very timely manner and I had my loan probably quicker than if I had gone to my bank or any bank for an unsecured loan. Loan officer/agent Ashley ** extremely courteous and helpful in making it all happen. I would recommend to friends and any family members that they apply to Lending Tree for a unsecured loan in excess of $3500.

They made the process quick and painless. I gave them my information online and they let me know I was approved in a matter of a few days. Once that was done the money was in my account in a few days and I'm ready to build a fence and landscape around my house.

I filled out the form to request a home equity loan. Lending Tree gave me two results, Quicken Loans and loanDepot, LLC. Both contacted me within a day. However they Both were ONLY offering me info on a refinancing mortgage. BOTH said they do not offer home equity loans. Lending Tree should have said NO results to my request, instead of giving my personal info to two companies that did not offer what my search request was. This resulted in a hard hit for 1 point on my credit score before Quicken Loans told me they offer refinancing and not a home equity loan. I will never use Lending Tree again.

Loan for $5000. My experience was good. It took almost over three weeks and then I was surprised when I only got $4700 because an origination fee was taken $300. I would like to know if these funds will be refunded, if not I feel the interest should be applied only to the $4700. I would have liked to have had more information before following through. I did received the loan copies after the funds were deposited.

I filled out Lending Tree's form in an effort to acquire rate estimates online. The page with the SSN entry said there would NOT be any credit hit. Now I come to find not only are they and the lenders they connect me with entitled to pull my credit report, there are dozens of them doing so! Lending Tree should be forced to advertise their service more accurately, or punished for not doing so. I would like to get "unregistered" with them, but so far I haven't been able to figure out how to do that. For now, I'm just telling every caller, "Unsubscribe me." If there's something better I should do, please let me know..

The process was simple, logical, and they provided everything you'd need for the application. There wasn't any headaches or mishaps. The customer service also helped with the application. The rates were reasonable. They were not too high or too low but pretty average and the best I could find at the time of my application. The terms were simple and they were not trying to trick me at all. The online tools were scarce. Thankfully I did not need them very much but the website was fairly complicated and they did not provide information on what tools they may have had.

I find this company to be very helpful to some of my friends. Parents in the past. Also it is very fair and discreet with decisions. Also very helpful towards customers and very honest company. So I know I will be helped in getting approved for a loan today. Thanks Lending Tree. One chance.

I am satisfied with customer service for now with my business loan. It could be better and the company can improve on their customer service but what can you do. Application process was fairly easy and fast. They explained where and what you should provide with clear instructions and how to fill out the questions thoroughly. Overall application process was good.

The sign up process was fairly simple and the home page is designed great. Kudos to whoever designed it. I like how simple it is to navigate through the webpage without a bunch of popups. So overall I give it a 4, not a five because that's just giving Lending Tree bragging right. ;)

I filled out a form with Lending Tree just looking to find out what average interest rates on mortgages are in my area. I'm not even in the market for one, just curious. Within seconds I've been inundated with spam phone calls and emails from junk lending companies. I told one woman to take me off the call list and she laughed about how many phone calls I was going to receive because "Lending Tree just sold all of us your information". DO NOT EVEN CLICK the link. I will also be filing a complaint with Google and the BBB.

I found Lending Tree to be a simple process much simpler than other sites where you have to enter in ALL you info just for them to find you a lender and you have to do it all over again for the lender. Overall the experience was simple, easy and quick.

Overall, I found the customer service experience to be positive. The reps were friendly and helpful. I would recommend it. Hopefully, however, your process is smooth enough to not need to contact customer support much. The application process was long and a bit daunting. This is the case with most financial issues of importance, I have found. There seems to be little that I could fault the institution for on that front. Nobody enjoys paying interest, especially high interest rates. I found the institution's rates to be acceptable and competitive, but still hard to swallow. I did not utilize the available online tools to their fullest potential, and I consequently came to regret that decision. It would have served only to streamline the process for me.

After signing up for a home loan refinance, started getting over 50 calls a day from lenders. Even now a couple of months later, I'm still getting 5-10 calls per week. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PHONE NUMBER or you will be swamped with calls.

We have felt that their lending terms were very similar to other lending practices. We found Lending Tree through their online site and feel that they offer a wide variety of lending online tools that have been very practical and useful for our company. We have been able to chat and email with them reliably.

Lending Tree provides your confidential information to 5 Lenders who have signed up with Lending Tree. An employee at Lending Tree or one of the 5 Mortgage companies used my information to open a fraudulent account at T-Mobile. I caught it on my credit monitoring. The fraud happened 3 days after using Lending Tree. This is no coincidence as I have not used any other service that would have this information. I reached out to Lending Tree along with dealing with the fraud and they didn't care. Didn't want to research it. Their answer was they will only investigate if they get a court order.

It was a very quick process and nothing was left out. Everything was explained clearly. I have absolutely no complaints about the entire process at all. Their rates and terms were extremely affordable and in my opinion very much well worth it. These were some of the best rates and terms that I was able to find and would recommend to anybody. They had the most new technology based online tools, well more than quite a few others. The online tools they have are very helpful not only to myself but to others as well.

When I went on the Lending Tree website, I was only interested in finding out what the current interest was. Instantly I received two basic quotes, then hell followed. I received over 50 phone calls, text messages and emails from all the mortgage brokers to whom Lending Tree had sold my personal information. If I had known this would happen I never would have used the site. Unless you are prepared to be bombarded with calls, I suggest you find another site.
