Problem Resolution!

I responded to a pre-qualified offer just to see what the rates might be. I decided to proceed based on an offer that was made stating the terms, rates, etc. I provided all the required documentation within hours of request. They state they fund within days of completing documentation. I heard nothing, so I called twice (hard to do since they bury phone numbers) and emailed several times with no response. Finally got through on a call and was told they had requested additional information -- which they never did. I supplied it immediately. Then got notice less than 12 hours later that they would not fund the loan. Very poor communication! Multiple hard inquiries on my credit! They do not stand behind their offers - so don't waste your time.

I applied for an auto refinance loan and was 1st pre-approved at 3% interest rate. I also applied for a business loan and was also pre-approved at around 10% interest. For refinance, I was 'pre-approved' at 3-5%. For the business loan, I was pre-approved at 6-9%. If nothing else please read the final paragraph because that was the most horrible part of the experience. I have all the emails and phone records to confirm my experience but I am not certain if I am allowed to post those so for now, I wont. Before I go further, let me save you some time. Go directly to a bank, credit union or whatever and do the work yourself. You'll save your credit score reduction by at least 15 points.

I really enjoyed. The site is was fast and easy... and I havent found anything like it. I'm trying to get home for me and my daughter to be with family and friends and I would like to use the funds for car and gas expense and moving cost. Thank you.

Wow LendingTree is great. My experience was powerful and enlightening. I realized how great and easy it is to be able to get a loan with lendingtree. I can't wait to move into my new apartment with my great dogs. My fiance and I are very grateful for the opportunity to receive this help.

I just recently applied for a personal loan with LendingTree. They seem to be a good financial avenue for people like me with less than perfect credit score a second chance. I currently have poor credit score. Not really bad credit but has room for improvement. And mainly just pay my bills on time. A few months of monthly payments should strengthen my credit score for the good. I applied for a couple credit cards for bad credit with a ranking of.

I really need this loan to be able to help me get back in school and pay for books. Please and thank you! If given the opportunity I believe I can strive for excellence in my career. Conditions permitting. Which is why I turned to LendingTree for a fresh start if you will.

Need help with loan for rent and electric. I have hit a hard spot and can't pay everything and feed my 5 kids. I'm just trying to get enough to cover everything I owe right now. Plus both my vehicles broke down so have to pay to fix them. That includes paying mechanic to fix them.

Checking rates for a loan the app was very helpful. It was very easy to use and had some very quick responses from other companies to help me with what I was interested in finding out about. Would use again if needed. Thanks for all the helpful and once again it was a very easy app to use.

Do not think that because you don't provide your SSN that your credit report will not be pulled. Called to complain to customer service and they'll just tell you unapologetically that you agreed to this when you clicked the submit button. Yes, buried deep in their terms of service they got me. How is this legal?? I am writing this so it does not happen to others. Stay far far away from this company.

I reached out to LendingTree and began filling out an application online awhile back, and regret that moment forever. Ever since, I have been inundated with at least 6 phone calls per day, from various numbers that model my number to disguise who they are. Each person is EXTREMELY RUDE and avoids trying to tell me their company name. I've asked hundreds of times to stop calling and it only gets worse. This is HARASSMENT and I will take legal action should it continue. DO NOT USE THEM!!! THEY ARE A FRAUD!

Very good loan. Helped me out a lot. Very fair process. Would recommend to friends. Fair interest rates and very fair terms on loans. No high interest rates like other places. Will definitely use in future when paid off. Very good business people and very professional. Would highly recommend.

Easy online process. Will highly recommend to anyone. I really like that the application is simple and easy. Not a hard process to get thru and very quick. They are good with answering any questions that I had. Got through everything in no time at all. Already told friends about this website.

When I go on to a website promising to give instant comparative quotes from multiple lenders, that is exactly what I expect, to see multiple quotes after I enter all my info. What I got instead is NO quotes after I entered all my info and for the next 3 days getting never ending calls and emails from multiple lenders. Now, I don't know about others, but if I want to talk to a lender, I will call them, I don't need a website to put my name on their lead list. If I go to a website to get info, that means I DON'T want to talk to anyone and would like the website to provide the info I request. Call me weird but that is just how I am!

Wanted a loan to pay off all bills and start over with a clean slate and some extra money for emergencies and was turned down flat because no lender was willing to take a chance on me because of my credit rating! It's like that because of my illness and being in the hospital and giving a so called friend charge of my funds to pay my bills which didn't happen!!! Thanks.

Excellent service for finding and recommending viable lending sources. Positive results for small, medium, and larger sized loans. Plus you get a free copy of your credit report with other relevant information and home improvement services. I ended up consolidating all of my high interest credit card loans into one convenient loan and lowered my payments significantly along with my payment. Thank you LendingTree!

So I applied at Lending Tree and one of their mortgage companies contacted me immediately. After discussing the situation with the mortgage agent they proceeded to tell me that I would have to finish some repairs on my home and that they would contact me in a couple months. Because I have no idea when I'll have this done they proceeded to call me twice a day everyday ever since that day even after I've asked them numerous times to stop. Then Lending Tree itself called. I explain to them what was going on and they proceeded to call me everyday at least once to twice a day.

I have nothing but good things to say even though I haven't gotten a loan through them as of yet. But that's a good thing. So far they have opened my eyes on the how to build my credit and what it means. If I would have knew then what I know now.

After filling out their required application, to find out the percentage rate, I changed my mind and X-out of the application without giving my social security number. and subsequently I have received 9 annoying telephone calls from different lenders... all because I wanted to check Interest Rates. Lending Tree is a terrible company and their telephone inquiries are very deceitful. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LENDING TREE. That is how they get paid, by giving out your info to mortgage companies.

Log on to inquire about rates and get none stop emails, phone calls and text all wanting to get me to apply right then and there. Very unprofessional, no telling how many times my credit was run and waiting now to see when my identity get stolen.

Everything went good. The only thing is I hate it when you say pre approved and you're not. You put your information on too many times and free credit score is not free. I know my credit score. Why make me do this. FREE IS FREE. NOT 1.00. Am not putting card information. No way.

After giving out my private information, I was provided with loan offers from two different lenders. I expressed interest in one that was to be financed over 5 years the very next day, this miraculously was reduced to 3 years. This was with Upgrade. I said no and went after another. Initial offering was 5 years. The next day, when I went to finish the paperwork, it was 3 years. This was with LoanDepot. 2 lenders, terms reduced in one day. Stay with a reputable bank.

I was exploring the possibility of refinancing now that LIBOR is going crazy and LendingTree site came up so I entered info on their website in order to view current rates, and no I certainly did not give out my SS#! Instead of coming up with their current rates, I had a screen which stated something to the effect that they were inundated with requests for information and advised to try again at another time at which time I would have to enter all the info again! Incredible as no matter how many inquiries they had had, why could I not be linked to their standard rates and terms page, even if they had to show a disclaimer that rates are subject to change, etc? Following that message I had no intention of "trying again".

Do not trust this company. They used my information to hand out to 3rd party lenders, sending it to different loan companies, that made a hard inquiry on my credit score, without prior authorization. I called LendingTree and they admitted that there would be no reason for them to do this as I did not authorize them to for auto loans and it shouldn't have happened.

Heard some remarks from other people about this company and how they helped when others would not. Most were very good. I can't speak right now or give my personal thought at this time. I would use this money for personal use at this time. I prefer that monies not have to paid in 1 lump sum.

I can't really say how the company performs but I can say their customer service isn't very good. I responded to a prequalified loan offer to get more information and to get two basic questions answered. The agent was unable to answer the questions and was more focused on trying to get me to apply. Why would I apply to a company that lacks the ability to answer my questions. I guess to them that is good customer service... To me, if service is poor before I even have an account with you, then that is an excellent reason not to do business.

You have been very helpful helping me understand how credit works and financing management. Looking forward to doing business with you. Being a senior and never having to deal with money management before because it was handled by others for me. Medical issues are better now and I'm taking care of past debts from my creditors. Now that I'm ambulatory again I'm in need of transportation.

Very sad to have trusted this company. They used my information erroneously, sending it to different loan companies, that made hard inquiries on my credit score, without a clear prior authorization. I cannot recommend them.

I feel they go the distance and then some for their customers. The staff are friendly and care for the needs of the customer. From my dealings with this company I felt very at ease and comfortable in a stressful situation. The list of lenders for your loan needs I think is the largest I can imagine. Would and do I recommend them for my search in a loan? NO!!! They would not be my second choice, but surely my FIRST for each and every time if I need a loan!! Any doubt about debt? Let these professional put your money worries at ease. They did for me!!

I wanted to find out just a little regarding current offers for loans. Immediately I was asked many personal questions as if I am actually applying for a loan but I just wanted information. I declined providing my SS number. The results came back saying I was denied because of a low credit score. How would they know this without consent to pull my credit or all of my info. I will be checking my Credit Karma to verify. By the way my credit score is not bad as I was just approved for a loan elsewhere. I would shy away from a company that requires so much information just to get a little information from them.

Lending Tree and Lending Club work together with many small financing companies, I applied online and they ended up issuing two loans (I am saying they because one rep said they were the same and the other denied it) but both can see my account with my phone number, I assume if they are not the same, they are very close. My mistake was not to check my bank account on time and of course I set both loans in ignorance and in confusion, you fill out a form in a website and immediately a local company calls you and tells you they are calling in behalf of the site, they didn't tell me the other loan was moving forward. I would call it a scam. So since the loan was granted by a local company in the same day that contacted me through their website in their behalf, I did not pay attention to the other lending company's email.

AWFUL. Your personal information is hosed if you give it to LendingTree. Thought I was just checking a pre-qualified rate, next day 7-10 phone calls from various banks!! I feel like my ID is going to be stolen any minute. Can't wait to see my credit report. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Go directly to a bank instead.

There must have been 20 brokers call. All hours of the night and day. What a mistake. You can do better. Just look online for brokers or mortgage companies in your area. Get a couple to look at. Pay close attention to fees! Everybody has pretty much the same rates. Fees and points vary wildly. If you want incessant phone calls, contact LendingTree.

As far as I have seen I have had no problems with them. I have had no problems with them. I love them they have helped me no question asked even with bad credit. I recommend this company to everyone they are great. They really help out when you need it the money. Come going them and try them out. You will be happy you did.

This site makes everything easy to understand and quick to fill out. Now I've just got to wait to get a result. Thank you. I am trying to get a loan for debt consolidation and this site is very easy. Hopefully it will be just as easily approved so that I can get things going in the right direction and turn my credit around.

This is ludicrous! It cost roughly 50% of the loan value just to borrow the money and clearly the APR ON A PERSONAL LOAN SHOULD BE MUCH LOWER THAN THAT OF A CREDIT CARD. HERE THEY ARE HIGHER! I most certainly can do way better at my person credit union on my worst day. I would no never EVER consider these ridiculous offers. I would like to add that while my credit may not be 800 it certainly is not bad credit and the company needs to make a little money but do it on reasonable interest rates and I might would consider paying a 25$-35$ application fee if you will but not this!

When I first went to the website & right away it had you answering some questions, I did not even put in my FULL Social Security number & never authorized ANYONE to hit my credit, after I was finished I thought LendingTree was going to send me something in the email BUT MY credit report was HIT with someplace I did not even know... I am disputing it as I want it off my report!!! Be careful out there!!!

WOW! If you like to be hounded then this is the site for you! I have been working on rebuilding my credit and now have an excellent credit score. I logged onto their site to get options on lower credit card rates. That was 15 minutes ago. Since then I have had 5 phone calls and 7 emails sent to me! I don't recall asking to be contacted for any type of personal loan. I can't believe how quickly the piranhas have attacked! I am going back to Credit Karma and will never log onto this site again. This is ridiculous! Be forewarned. I should have read the reviews before I logged on as I am not surprised they have several reviews like this.

They sent me to get a password and I had two lenders then and when I returned there were none?? l don’t understand why they would leave. I really need this loan. It would help me out tremendously. I really need the loan. It would keep me out of a bind and I would be very grateful for this loan. I really don’t know what I’m going to do without it. Thank you for letting me speak my mind.

This site is easily navigated and is very specific as to what information it needs. Once I got this far it basically grabbed me by the arm and walked me through step by step until I had satisfied their requirements. If you have not satisfied them it will keep bringing you back until the issue is resolved. I repeat, I am called back to the spot where I was before being called back to verify the information is correct.

My experience with LendingTree thus far has been an upfront and very "down to business" affair. Albeit I haven't found a loan through them they remain professional in their demeanor. I stand by my decision that I am satisfied with their production. Now, if they could succeed in acquiring a loan for me, I would most definitely raise my opinion to Very Satisfied. Nevertheless I thank them for their consideration during my trying time.

Why when I submitted for an auto refinance I was given several great offers and several not so great offers. After contacting all of the great offers, they all come back with offers that aren't even close to what LendingTree stated. We are talking the difference between a 3% and coming back at 5 to 7%. Extremely misleading. I would have been better off just going to my bank or a local credit union. SMH.

I have never had experience with Lending Tree. I would hope that they live up to their reputation and the ads on tv. I would like to refinance this home, it was my mom's, she passed and left it to me, I was looking for a good reasonable rate.

I wanted to view different rates to refinance my car. None of the offers were to my liking, so I didn't pursue any of the lenders. Within 20 minutes, my phone was blowing up with calls and text messages. Two of those lenders took it upon themselves to run hard credit inquiries. I emailed LendingTree and complained. Not much they can do about it, but seriously, keep in mind your info IS shared and all the lenders will hound you like starving piranhas. They will blow up your phone and hard hit your credit report.

They email me every single day to start! Next they make it appear as though you can be prequalified without a hard pull to your credit since you are only providing them with the last 4 of your Social Security number. You have to read the really small fine print to know that they are actually having other companies do hard pulls against your credit. Oh and they have the line in the email "it's just like searching for a flight or hotel"...uhm no because I don't have hard pulls against my credit when I do that. Never again.

The online process was very easy and quick and right away I got a phone call but the man on the phone was very rude sounding and really did not want to listen, or let me say anything I said. I’m just starting with credit and he said in a very rude manner, "We’ll build your credit up" then hung up on me without me saying a word. The company seems Like a really good company but the whole phone call was rude. At least be nice enough to give me advice or guidance. Not be so rude.

I am trying to find how to delete my account on this service. After making 1 request for mortgage loan rates, I got 11 robocalls in under two hours! I will never use your site again because of this! Please change the terms of service so you do not annoy people!

Terrible experience, Within minutes I got 20 phone calls, emails and text messages. I just wanted to see what kind of rates I could get. They took the liberty to let companies run my credit and spam the ever living crap out of me. Never will use them again.

If I walk away with a car loan with LendingTree I will recommend to everyone I know and of course I would myself get another car loan through lending tree for all my loans and etc. It is easy and fast to fill out the online application for a car loan.

Wonderful place to borrow money from, fast and accurate service. The money is deposited the next day. The customer service people are very helpful and friendly. Their decision making time is great. You know right away if you are approved and if you're not they tell you to keep trying.

While Lending Tree does disclose on their website that information would be shared with lenders, I had no idea how many calls I would get. The day after I filled out information on Lending Tree I received a total of 37 calls from 3 different lenders... Yikes. I have already refinanced my home and still receive 10 to 25 calls each day from different lenders. They call starting at 7 am and don't stop until 8 pm. While Lending Tree isn't directly responsible for this, perhaps Lending Tree can tell the people they sell information to to not harass people. I have asked the companies to stop calling, yet they persist. It's beyond annoying and very unprofessional. Please tell your clients (the lenders you sold my information to) that they cannot harass people by calling several times every day.

LendingTree doesn't allow you to select the lenders that I wish to contact... they allow every potential lender to call you back... And I wouldn't consider any of those lenders with my future business.

If you want your phone blown up for weeks at all hours of the day and night then submit a request for information. They are relentless and very rude. I would never do business with them or their affiliated funding partners.

It was awesome... I didn't have no problems or have any issue with the application online. I would recommend this to anybody who wants to use this. It helps you out a lot. I love and liked this service. I give it a thumbs up and rate it at a five. Really recommend!!!!

I am regretting that I put my info in LendingTree. I was looking to see the rate and the moment I filled out my info, I am constantly getting calls. I even got some unrelated text about something... They must be selling my info somehow (if not them, the company they are selling my info to.) I filed Do Not Call with them. Let's see if that works. Another lesson learned for me. Perhaps time for a new number.

I love you website. Wish you offered more options for first time and bad credit auto loans and personal loan. I had poor credit with 4000 month salary and 1550 monthly other income. Got 2500 to put down on auto loan or add to personal loan to purchase. Kept trying to get approved, opened a new checking account. But no approval in sight.

Applied to LendingTree today we received a callback. The only reason she called us was to tell us that she was unable to help us. She then proceeded to argue with us about us not being able to purchase a house without a credit score of 650 - News flash we bought a house that we have lived in for almost 4 years with a credit score less than 650. She then proceeded to tell us we were lying. LOL. Um excuse me? After that I was pretty much annoyed and hung up on her. LendingTree needs to review their customer service - something seems a BIT OFF!

I was simply looking to compare current rates. As other reviewers have noted, all I accomplished by using the Lending Tree site, which was linked from a Google search for current rates, was to unleash a storm of phone calls, voicemails, and text messages from various mortgage brokers. I HAVE YET TO SEE A CURRENT RATE! Despite the fact more than enough information was entered, to provide a ballpark estimate. Useless. Annoying. I see that the most common response to others complaining about this, from Lending Tree, is that they will add me to their DNC list. It's too late for that. Incidentally, I stopped short of entering my SSN into the Lending Tree online forms. Thank goodness I did not. But Lending Tree disseminated my information anyway, despite the fact that I did not complete their registration process. That's a bad business practice IMHO.

Within five minutes of completing my LendingTree account profile, I began receiving phone calls and emails from Quicken Loans. Lending Tree waits 2 days to call me to tell me they can't match me to a lender. I asked why Quicken was calling me. I was told that I must have signed up with them. The only business I have signed up for in the last year, was Lending Tree. The rep tried to make excuses, but I countered that I had used my office number and that I had only had that number for 6 months. There was no way Quicken had gotten my number from anyone other than Lending Tree. Be careful, your personal information IS NOT secure with Lending Tree.

Unless you're feeling lonely and want to talk to several hundred obscure brokers for the next 4 months, AVOID LendingTree. I've gotta give it up to their marketing team, they are very good at putting lipstick on a pig. I had no idea that I was signing up for a personal credit chop shop. LendingTree isn't in the credit business, they are in the information business. The minute you sign up it's like entering Narnia. Except you can't get out and every character you meet knows your social security number and childhood teddy bear's name. I had to put Mr. Snuggles into a witness protection program to get him away from all of the legit harassment.

I am not a robot. Easy to fill application. Still as yet unable to secure a loan with either your company or a competitive company. It's been a pleasure working with this company. Easy let down and given encouragement to continue on with my pursuit of a loan even to reapply again with this company. Thank you.

We have had a loan from you. Until Landmark bought you out. We have excellent credits with you and then. We were never late or did we miss a payment. Your staff was always very nice. We dealt with Roger and he always helped us. We were very pleased with your loan company.

Don’t apply with LendingTree, they will only waste your time. I have applied and wasted 2 weeks with them and they just kept hanging up on me. I have tried it on several different occasions and still the same. They are sketchy and unreliable, and not fast at all. All of the companies that work through Lending Tree are very suspicious, you will regret it.

Easy to deal with! Great service forms were easy to fill out. Can’t wait to see where this goes. It’s hard for a struggling family to get back on the right path. Hopefully LendingTree will give us this opportunity we need to succeed and continue our business journey!

Going online is such an easy way to access a loan with no worries. It is fast and simple. No stress during your application process, you can get what you need done without any anxiety. The loan company checks all your information and updates it onto their system for you. I truly am grateful that there is an online system to help during times of need.

I still haven't gotten a loan. Trying for a month's now. Still no loan. I'm a Vietnam veteran and need money to eat. My luck has not been too good lately. Got my tires slashed and one of those tires blew out on freeway at 65 mph so needed to get another tire again. Also need brakes.

12/12/17 LendingTree did not offer to pre-qualify. Instead LendingTree took my contact information and gave it to all LendingTree associates in my area. I have been bombarded with over 100 phone calls, voicemails, text messages and several emails in a two day period. I have spent more time cleaning my email out, listening and deleting voicemails, text messages, and dodging phone calls that just keep coming. Than focusing on my goals of finding a home.

The application was easy and helpful, my approval odds are very high and I would highly recommend this service to absolutely anyone that I personally know. They're real lenders ready to help people out. And I am really really glad I chose this site and to everyone thinking about choosing this website to get a line from, I encourage you to do it.

Don't waste your time! Twice I've attempted to get a loan in a sane and normal way and these inconsiderate imbeciles unleash calls at me starting at 6:00 am. First, a company called United Royal called me 12 times between 6:00 am and 7:15 am. THE SAME PEOPLE and from two different numbers! They have no clue what they are doing and don't care that they alienate people. They are just there to harass, not provide loans. I asked for a fixed HELOC and received ridiculous number of calls all day, not a single one could provide even a regular HELOC! It's a predatory machine that just pushes what they want to. It doesn't matter the type of loan you want, you will be hammered by inconsiderate, incompetent and juvenile people calling at all hours to push what they want. I'll never do this again and am going to spend my weeks letting everyone know what a complete FARCE LendingTree is!

I had a great experience and would proudly recommend my friends. The LendingTree staff is very professional and down to earth. They're a very pleasant help in a urgent time of need. I was contacted by repeated providers to the point of harassment and went with Wyndham which cost me an appraiser fee and a ton of time. They had repeated requests and phone calls which was going to result in additional fees to extend my loan lock with no end in sight. A total waste of my time. I will never do this or recommend this to anyone.

When you inquire for anything at LendingTree they have very small print that says they basically have nothing to do with what lenders are going to do. What will happen is a half-dozen lenders will ding your credit without your permission. This is a very shady way to do business. Stay away from LendingTree!!!

I was treated with respect - The program treated me with kindness, and I thank them for a job well done and the best way for me to tell people about this topic is to be in the actual per group of people who want to borrow money from the accounts that are available for lending to the various reasons.

I feel like you guys lie about helping and all you do is spam my email box. For once it would be nice for a lending agency help with things in an emergency instead of wasting my time. I have applied more than one time with this company because you keep promising things. Very disheartening.

I have received non-stop phone calls, live calls, Robo-call, auto-dialers, call and hang up (with virtual numbers that don't exist) Day after Day after Day for months on end... Relentless calling from lenders and mortgage companies to my cell phone which is on the Do Not Call List. I have asked them to take me off the list. Made complaints to FTC. But it never ever stops. DO NOT CALL LENDINGTREE. They don't lend money... they sell call lists. Seriously!

I am pursuing a loan in the amount of $500. Direct deposit available at Wells Fargo Bank. This long will pay for the sales taxes on a 2007 PT Cruiser I bought at Conyers the car spot is there a way you all can help. I am self-employed and my income is just a little more than $1,500 per month.

Worked on my job over 28 yrs. Owned my home same amt of years, wanted to refinance to lower interest rates and lower mortgage, would have used savings for home improvements. Turned down, with good credit rating with a few derogatives that I also would have been able to clear up with the savings I could have realized.

We went to LendingTree to do a cash-out refi. They aren't a lender but companies compete for your loan. They shouldn't be advertised as a lender. We did get offers and picked Howard Bank because it had great reviews on LendingTree, which all had to be fake. Had we gone outside of LendingTree we would see true reviews of Howard Bank from the internet, BBB etc. You would see that this company has a lot of complaints. LendingTree should have verified reviews because we spent almost 2 months dealing with this deceptive bank.

I really hope I get the loan. I've got some auto repairs that I need to do and the holidays are coming up and I just want to stay ahead. I make sure all my main bills are paid so if I get the loan it will be paid on time. With this time of year I just need a little boost to stay ahead so I don't get behind on anything.

I have never been with y'all before, I just need help because I just lost my mom and my family don't help me. I'm in a group home. The city of Cleveland and the state of Ohio is trying to help me get my own place to live.

Like most loan companies, I was treated with anything other than respect, although there was some quickness in total procession. There must be some kind of Temporary drawer or cubbyhole to hide the process, not hide the proc. But conceal in temp sleeve... so there could be an approval for that application.

I didn't get helped. Instead a bunch of unwanted calls and harassments. So I'm not to pleased with this service. I don't understand. Why ask some "Did you receive the loan you looking for?" When I say no, you show me the same crap. Need to change to "We help if your credit score is 550-up."

If you know how to use a search engine you don't need LendingTree. I filled out the required information on their website and had 3 phone calls from lenders before I could log off. They haven't quit calling since! I had one lender explain to me that they buy leads, my name and contact information, from LendingTree. LendingTree is advertised as a place where you can go to compare multiple offers. This is completely false advertising. You don't get any offers from lenders after filling out information at LendingTree.

Your online application is easy, well placed in my browser and is efficient. I would recommend it to a friend and even family members... Even my parents who are online ** would find this site easy to manage and navigate. My wife is hoping you send her one. Lol.

I signed up with LendingTree to see if I could get a quick look at different banks offering a home equity loan. I looked at the disclosures and little info buttons and didn't see anything about LendingTree selling my number and email to the banks. Well, they must have because even though LendingTree had showed me only 3 possible bank offers, I have been getting endless calls and emails since signing up. Before writing this review, I tried giving LendingTree a chance at making it right by emailing them and asking them to put me on the DNC list. I got crickets instead. So here I am, adding a 1 star review. I will not be removing it. Point of the story: DO NOT sign up with LendingTree unless you want to be inundated with calls (even during evening hours)!

They hook you in to with a "get instant offers for loans without affecting your credit score" - of course if you decide a loan appealing enough you can THEN apply and get the hard credit inquiry and it affect your credit. HOWEVER - LendingTree has a little disclaimer button at the end that will allow up to 5 lenders to get a hard credit pull. This is unacceptable and in my opinion deceptive and harmful practice. I certainly won't bother with their services again after receiving my own hard inquiry. I was merely curious and was hoping for some light relatively accurate info - got a lot more than I bargained for.

When I went to my online login with Lending Tree, they present some suggestions/recommendations to see if there are possible lower loan rates. I decided to have a peek of my possible car loan rate, and I did give Lending Tree an authorization to apply for a loan in my behalf. I had no intention of applying for a car loan. I had been trying to work hard on increasing my credit score, now I have hard inquiries from car different lender for car loans!!! This is a scam! I never authorize Lending Tree to apply for a loan in my behalf. I am also getting a lot of calls from different companies! Please remove those hard inquiries from my report.

Within minutes of filling out Lending Tree's form I started receiving spam and spoofing calls. That day alone I received 15 calls and they became so obnoxious that I had to turn my phone off. I continued receiving numerous spam calls and am at a point of having to change my number. Terrible way to do business!

I use Lending Tree top recommended lender Cardinal Financial Company to cash out refinancing my residence. This company biggest liars in a market. They never keep their promises. Loan originator told me that everything will get fixed. Never was done. 1. Close in 30 days. They close my loan in 34 days and charge me $800 for lock extension. I provided all docs they needed on time. 2. Extra charges. Never use this company.

I was signing up for a loan and then I deleted it. I told them I did not know any it, I kept getting many phone calls from them and auto approve. I even tried blocking them which did not help. They pulled my credit even after I told them I did not want it. When I called the gentleman from LendingTree was not very pleasant. I say don't get a loan through LendingTree. Calls were harassment.

I would like to share my thoughts and experiences with anyone out there who may have a few things on their credit report, yet you pay everything on time, have income to prove you can repay a loan and normally pay a little extra on your cards and/or debt each month. Personally, I used LendingTree as well as multiple other loan companies all getting negative results, both me and my wife have not great but decent credit, iLoan is one of the many partners of lenders on this site yet LendingTree told me there was nothing to offer except... Sorry people. Terrible payday loans of 1k, after searching for about a two week period with other lenders, even trying a local branch which iLoan is affiliated with I was still blacklisted, well that's how I felt.

Deceptive... ran multiple hard inquires on my credit... bring down my score... You think you are just "looking" at rates and no way are you thinking you are making an actual application! They hurt your credit and spam you with multiple lenders blowing up your phone & emails!

I think I had a 1000.00 loan with LendingTree before about a year or so ago. I didn't know the MONEY was in the bank for a week. Payments were taken automatically out of my account automatically. My experience was stress-free. No headaches. No Hassle. Love you guys. You're the best. Helped in the time of need.

Trying to get a loan with bad credit and I received an email stating that I was pre-approved and to call. Agent Alex called me instead and I verified all the personal information for the loan process. That's standard and I understand that. The next part of the call was Alex telling me that there was an upfront fee of $250 that the financier would deposit into my checking account and I in turn would pay it directly back. In order to do this, Alex required I give him my personal ID and password for my online banking. This was not happening! So I ended the call after being told that I could just change my banking info and Alex accessed my account. There is no reason why a company that only finds lenders to be allowed this information.

I filled out all of the information on Lendingtree.com. After completing the form it said there was an error but that all of my information was secure. Within 5 minutes I received two phone calls. One from Quicken Loans and another from Wells Fargo. If you want banks to call you, then Lending Tree is for you. I personally did not. If anyone from Lending Tree reads this, PLEASE delete all of my information and please stop giving my number to banks.

After filling out personal information (note - do NOT give them your social; security information) I get to the end of the questions and it says they have no information for me online, which all I want is a guesstimation on what a payment would be. Within minutes of leaving their site because they have "no information", I receive 2 phone calls and 5 e-mails regarding HM loans. I can see for the next month I will have to unsubscribe and block calls from every "lender" on earth.

My husband and I are interested in a HELOC at less than 80% loan to value and we both have excellent credit. We just wanted to compare rates against what we were quoted by our local bank. Against my better judgment I put my personal information in the Lending Tree form. I thought I would get some rates to compare on the website. Instead, I received nothing online and a barrage of calls during business hours the next morning. If I wanted to talk to lenders on the phone, I would have called them. Now, I have my cellphone ringing off the hook at my place of employment, causing me problems at work and I still don't have the information I wanted. Just steer clear!!

Experience was easy to follow. Easy access to site. I would come back. And recommend a friend or family member. You offer low rates, good choice, many offers. Staff members are knowledgeable about the company. Again I would recommend your company. I prefer to file a application online but you have offices all over.

I put all my info online and got a message back saying you could not verify my info and could not help me at this time. That was not helpful. That is awful customer service after I spent my time entering all my info. I have no idea why others give you a decent rating. My experience makes me think you are a scam.

Getting a home equity loan through these people has been a nightmare. So far it has taken us 93 days on a house that has no liens on it at all. Paid in full. We have jumped through hoop after hoop and we still have not closed, borrowing 60,000.00 against 250,000.00. Do not use these people. Save yourself time and effort.

Filling out this loan application was easy and fast. I would recommend this to all my family and friends. I need this loan for bills and to get my kids clothes and some divorce procedure and just to get back on my feet after my divorce. This loan will really help me out.

I'm in the process of researching for a refinance and there are so many companies, rates, tricks, gimmicks, rules and "gotchas". Thought I'd try Lending Tree so at least I could narrow viable companies with rates to compare and maybe some transparency. Instead, after giving unnecessary personal information, I get four company names that I call. No rates, terms, conditions, caveats, etc. I could have just called these companies directly. I don't see the value other than my email box will now be full with spam.

I filled out a form on Lending Tree to get information about home equity loans. I immediately was bombarded with spam calls, including over 30 from one number (after about 20, I finally got a moment between calls to block it, but it still keeps calling). I have blocked about 10 numbers so far, I think. This is NOT what I expected. Do these people think anyone will do business with them when they behave this way?

I have several bills spaced out that I would like to consolidate into one payment. I have no other bills. Cars paid for, house paid for, so no problems paying. Just don't want to get spaced out and would like to improve my credit score. At the same time I would like to start a business very soon and would need a loan to do that so I'm going to need help with that.

I had filled out a few applications online for a debt consolidation loan. I do not have very good credit. I was contacted by Lending Tree saying I was approved for a 10,000 loan. I replied and said I did not need/want that much. 5000 would be wonderful!... After talking with Mark ** on Thursday last week I had to get 200 to help "process" the loan. He said it would be reimbursed. BUT he wanted it in the form of two 100 iTunes cards. I knew I should have told him where to go at that point. But I was in dire need of the money. After I got him his iTunes cards he said I would have to send another 200 in cash to them before they would release the funds. I said No. Then he said they would wire money into my account and when I received it I had to send it back to them. Then they would give me my loan. What a scam. He said the money would be in the account today or tomorrow... Gee Guess what? Nope!

Lending scam! - The website says they will let you compare loans! But as soon as you give them info the calls start! If you want to be inundated with call give them your info! But there is no side by side comparison that I could find!

They said my credit score would not go down. The offers I got were higher rates than what I am paying now and they want money upfront. I had to turn off my phone and will probably change my phone # & email address. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

After more than 3 days of going back and forth with a Lending Tree "professional" she tells me my best bet is to rent a year and then try for a loan later. Because we are transferring to a new state and we will need to find new employment. Wow, really. That is your best advice for a couple that has a guaranteed minimum income of $80,000 (if my wife gave up being a registered nurse and I closed my retirement gun business), the option to use a VA backing, $60,000 in investments, $35,000 in savings, a rental income, my credit score of 767 and hers of 797, after they pulled them. Seems to me I had someone with a lack of knowledge helping me or buying a home became extremely difficult. Either way, contacting Lending Tree was pointless and I can't even get back the credit score points they stole from us by wasting our time.

This was a decent site to use to find information about a loan. I'm looking for a small loan that could be paid off in a reasonable time and it seems this site may be able to accommodate my needs. Hopefully the money comes within a reasonable time frame.

From what I read in complaints, Lending Tree sends out many requests to many lenders once you supply your info with them. Most of us need to be careful with our credit scores in order to obtain loans. I just read someone claimed he had 6 lenders who had done hard credit inquiries on him. BOOM! Down goes your credit score quickly. For most people, one additional credit inquiry will take less than five points off their FICO Scores. 25 or 30 points off your score could make a big difference in obtaining credit.

I enjoy the way you help to get the loan for me. I know when you are ready to loan when I get the information to me. All will be on, I can only hope that the Lord will bless and help in the future. It's almost done. Just keep it up to see the best information about the loan.

I just wanted a peek at what my potential auto loan rate would be for an estimated amount. I had ZERO intention of actually applying for a loan or buying a car at this time. NOWHERE along the way in this research process did Lending Tree say they were ACTUALLY applying for a loan on my behalf!! They made it seem like I was only receiving info on the rate. I NEVER approved submitting a loan applications and Lending Tree NEVER disclosed that this casual research would trigger a hard inquiry!! And you can now also sprinkle on 3-5 spam robo calls a day regarding my car, an auto loan, warranty, or some other auto related scam. AVOID.

Easy to use and happy to help with the mortgage process. I look forward to the results. How many offer we get was amazing. The interest rates were extremely low and it did not matter your credit score is. I am moving across country and I have been approved.

I never place my cell phone number online. If a company asks, I just stop the application. I only give it directly to a bank or other institution. I made an exception and since then have had 2 IRS scams, several calls for automobile warranties, home warranties and just now I apparently "won a $20,000" grant. Also, the lenders that contacted me were headhunters, making suggestions that I remove my name from Lending Tree, so I "would not be bothered by other lenders" I read it as "so I won't have competition from other lenders." I never had any problems with this type of call until I submitted the application. I will never do something like this again.

I tried this site to apply for an RV loan, my credit score is 729. I went through the whole process and they found me no offers and said that I need credit repair help that my credit score is below 640!? So I don't know what the heck is going on with this site but I would avoid them like the plague.

Needed a loan for business and it keeps telling me it cannot access my account. And to ask to rate an app that you can't use is just crazy. Why would anyone give you a good rating after that? And to have to rate before you can even move forward before you can see if you can even use the service is again unhelpful to the customer as well as the site.

Can't stop emails from Lending Tree. Started receiving emails awhile back to someone named "Tawnya". "Tawnya you can save money on balance transfers" etc. Evidently Tawnya filled out something online and made up an email address and that email address turned out to be mine. I called Lending Tree and was told the email would be removed and I would not receive any more of the emails. I continued to receive them. I clicked on the unsubscribe in the email and a window popped up telling me I had been unsubscribed from all emails. I continued to receive them. I did the 'unsubscribe' again and now I continue to get emails from Lending Tree. They just don't have the name Tawnya on them anymore. Please stop sending me emails. I'm not interested.

First of all, don't fill out your information if you do not want at least six new inquiries on your credit bureaus. The site guided me to "check rates" for auto refinancing and according to the site, I had to fill out my info in order to see what rates were available. I thought I was only going to get a range of what was available through the lenders they work with, not actual credit inquiries. Nowhere did I fill out my full social security number, nor check a box, or click a button where I agreed to let Lending Tree check my credit and automatically send my info to other lenders to check my credit on their own to make offer determinations.

Constant calls at all hours, even though loan not with any help from them was completed. No apologies from people who when we respond to call just hang up on us. They should have checked and updated their records that loan was completed. I don't know of any account requirement offered or given but they are the only company I recall for loan info.

Credit Karma is partially responsible. I have a credit score of 752 and applied for a personal loan with Lending Tree which was recommended from Credit Karma site saying I was approved. Well apparently I got declined once I filled in my full info. I have been getting multiple harassing phone calls from predator lenders every day for the last 22 months. They lie without shame and done over 80 illegal inquiries on my credit report, many times they call they don't even say anything, they just hang up. Horrible disgusting experience.

I was shopping for a loan and made the mistake of checking on Lending Tree. I was apprehensive and should have followed my gut. Now, I'm getting about 6 to 8 calls per day. It would probably be a higher number but I keep blocking numbers as they come in. And, I'm getting emails that acknowledge that they know I've blocked them. Do they think that an email will make their annoying and incessant calling ok? Stay away unless you are lonely and have lots of time to accept call after call.

Since transition could not find my credit score, I was rejected. I belong to Equifax and my credit score is automatically updated. Maybe you should check Equifax before rejecting potential clients? Obviously you don't need new customers and would rather spend your marketing money on expensive TV ads rather than have customers come to you at almost no cost!

I would definitely recommend a friend to apply here. My loan process was very fair and easy to follow. All questions were easily answered and easy to follow. I only wish I would have been accepted. I inquired about refinancing a home equity loan. I was told to call Quicken and Lending Depot for offers. Neither place offered home equity loan refinancing. They insisted on pitching me a mortgage refinancing with high closing costs.

After signing up, I looked into my account settings and found my primary email address was not mine! It belonged to someone who I didn't know. I had to call up Lending Tree to have my account canceled. They didn't know why that email address was there and had no explanation of how it got there. If you do decide to sign up at least look to make sure you are the person on the account and not someone else.

Completing an online form and they requested my phone number, I hit enter and they robo-called me. I went back to check no where did it say they would call. A rep put me on hold to get another rep, "Sara" who I asked if she could speak to my husband since I was busy. She said only if he's on the loan. When I said no he's not, but I'm busy, she just hung up the phone. No call back time, no SORRY FOR BOTHERING YOU SINCE YOU DIDN'T ASK TO BE CALLED, nothing. Lending Tree's customer service is disgusting, and don't call people if we don't ask to be called.

Saying they were having trouble checking things on out things on me. I have a home that is paid for and can't seem to even get not even half of what my home is worth, I am 69 and cannot seem to get any help with this matter???

Went there because they say you will be able to see your rates... doesn't happen! I have received at least 30 phone calls from mortgage lenders in 24 hours which is driving me crazy! So it is very misleading when they see you can see your rates because you can't - I will no longer do business with Lending Tree! Wish I could stop the bloody calls - when will they stop???

I didn't even finish filling out my information when my cell phone starting getting slammed with calls. I instantly closed out of the site without even finishing the inquiry. It has been 5 hours and my phone has not stopped ringing with calls from telemarketing loan sites. I am so disgusted. I may have to change my phone number. This is ridiculous.

It is a very nice experience, it is fast and easy. It is pain free. I'm needing a LOAN to pay off some rent so I can catch up and get back on track. This is gonna help out a lot. So glad that this is a very nice experience that you provide.

Lending Club is very professional. The only thing is it may take longer than you are expecting. You need to be patience. I requested $24.000 and I was approved for all the amount with a great interest. It took 3 weeks to received the money in my bank. The FICO for this type of amount should be over 680, mine was just 735. Keep in mind your credit report and score before apply.

I have out the credit card form before last week and two companies charged me $140 each with other fees and cost me a total of $479. How do you get FREE out of that and how do I get my money back. I think when they say free it should be free. I went to my bank bookkeeping and that's where I got my information. I bank in Picayune MS. I had to cancel my card because of this. Now I will not be able to use one because it will take 2 weeks to get a new one.

I do not remember any problems in the past at all with Lending Tree. We do not usually hang out in the bottom of the barrel with our credit transactions. We have had a horrible 2016/17 but are using our funds to pull ourselves out. Lending Tree can help us with this loan.

I have a credit inquiry from a place I've never heard from that they sold my information to. They were not helpful on the phone and sold my personal information. They were not helpful and the customer service agent, Damion or Drew, was very ignorant. When I called them, I had to beg for a supervisor and had to wait for them to call. Their website indicates that they are a soft pull, then that if you decide to accept an offer, it's a hard pull. However I didn't accept any offers and they sold my information instead and I now have a hard pull. Go to a bank, the internet website is shady. Very shady. I got little help from the company that pulled my credit.

I was merely curious as to what kind of refinancing I could get on my car with a soft credit pull as advertised. Less than 5 mins after I submitted, I started receiving numerous phone calls from random small banks asking to discuss my situation. This is still going on 2 weeks later but I'm okay with this part because I was probably a little naive and signed up too quickly. BUT these same people calling me are making HARD pulls on my credit and I have never even spoke with them! On my next weekly score update I noticed I had 1 new hard credit inquiry for both Equifax and TransUnion - different names for each that I didn't recognize. I hadn't truly applied for any credit in a while so I assumed right away that it was stemming from LendingTree.

My loan specialist at OneMain Financial was awesome! I really appreciate his professionalism and integrity. The loan process was simple and fast. I was approved for the amount I needed and I am very grateful for their assistance. Thank you very much for making my experience great! I was informed on the loan approval on 6/20. I was also informed on the money availability 4 days later. On Monday 6/26 I called them in 3 different occasions. First to inquire on my money. They asked me to go to my account and to check on my bank account. When I tried to sign in it was impossible. I tried to reset my password without luck then I called them again for assistance. They assigned me a new password. I couldn't sign in either so I called them back. Got no help from Lending Tree. All I get is put in another application and no results. If Lending Tree can help why do they keep sending me ads? I don't need a bunch of crap. I need a loan. Contact me when you can actually help with something besides just put in another loan application.

I had a great experience... I applied on Tuesday evening, turned in the requested documents Wednesday afternoon and signed all my loan documents that evening. My loan was funded Thursday and I received my money in my bank account Tuesday morning (2-3 business day)! Fast, flawless and they have awesome customer service.

I recently used Lending Tree thinking it would help me research rates for a HELOC. I hesitated to give them my info, but after reading some of the reviews on here and watching the commercials featuring the apparently earnest founder, I decided to trust them. What a mistake that was!!! Within seconds my phone blew up with phone calls from about a dozen different lenders. Some called 3-5 times in a row since I didn't answer and continued calling until almost 10:30 last night. I received texts and emails as well.

What a dreadful experience! I did not realize my phone number would be given to TONS of crappy mortgage companies and that they would HOUND me for DAYS. If this was mentioned in some kind of small print, I didn't see it. I put it on YOU to make it clear that you would be giving out my phone number to every Tom, Dick and Harry in the mortgage industry. Many calling were using deceptive VoIP local phone numbers and automatic robo-calling. I will NEVER use LendingTree again and will tell everyone I know NOT to use your service.

I went through Lending Tree to explore refinancing my mortgage. Within 25 minutes of finishing the application my phone starting ringing. In one hour, I received over 65 calls!!! I started blocking the calls. My phone continued to ring nonstop for several hours. This is ridiculous! I had already identified the lender I wanted to consider and it was annoying and a waste of time to hear from all of these lenders. A horrible experience. I will never use Lending Tree again!!!

I want to pay off some high interest credit cards with a lower interest over a longer period of time. My credit is good and all my payments on all of my accounts have been on time. This will free up cash and improve my credit score putting me in a better financial position.

Within seconds of hitting Lending Tree's "submit" button, my phone started ringing with solicitations. In 24 hours I received more than 40 calls from different lenders. Admittedly, I naively thought I'd be contacted by email, not contacted directly via phone. On the second day I called Lending Tree to complain about the volume of calls received, where they promptly put me on their "do not call list". They indicated that it might take a day or two to take effect.

I have bad experiences with the loan. The entrance was very high, 35%. OMG and I do have a very good credit. Have my own house get another loan for only 5% interest. You guys a rip off. Never again. I call to ask to get better entrance. No one help. Never. It was mistake. I should got that stupid loan.

The application service was easy, waiting to see if they can help me get a loan. I need it badly to get back on my feet and straighten up my credit. Getting an account was simple. I love how I could upload my information via my phone's camera. However I did not like how the site said I would be emailed information to complete my application and emailed approval. As I waited to see what I would need to complete my transaction, I kept waiting for emails to come and they never arrived. I kept checking into the site to see where I stood in my transaction. By continuously searching the site I was able to complete my transaction with ease. Had I waited for emails to come it would have taken much longer.

I contacted Lending Tree in order to get a home equity loan. I went with a company called Spring EQ. They contacted me promptly and took my application over the phone. They said that they would close the loan in approx. 2 weeks. Our home is a new build in a golf course community located in Leesburg, FL. Their appraiser said that our home was worth $60,000 less than we paid for it 6 months ago!!! What in the world?

I entered an inquiry on their website and received a phone call very quickly. I was asking for a business loan of $20-$50,000 dollars. I have a very high credit score and no debt. After a short conversation I was assured I had a good chance at a line of credit loan. The next day I was texted with a message saying I had been approved for $40,000. GREAT! Right? Unfortunately no. They called me 30 minutes later to finalize the process at which point I was informed of a "consult fee" of 7.5%. So all I had to do to claim a loan was pay around $3-4,000. I was also told my rate would probably land at around 10%. What a joke. I'll look elsewhere where people actually look at my perfect credit and don't try to charge ridiculous "consult fees".
