My first order was 4 Silver Snow Falcon 2016 1.5 oz. coins. Two were for me and two were for a gift. They are beautiful coins and my gift was accepted with as much excitement as I have in beginning my silver collection. Lear Capital is so easy to work with. Will definitely buy again!

Lear Capital agents were knowledgeable and recommended the best silver product for me to purchase. Order was quickly shipped and received within a reasonable time, given the holiday season. One each of the product had a defect, which Lear Capital quickly handled to my satisfaction.

I purchased $5000 worth of silver coins. Patrick was great. We had gotten a quote from a competitor and even though your rate was not the same, Patrick was able to match the price. Our shipment was expected in 4-6 weeks but came 4 days later. All in all it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend you to our friends and family.

I chose Lear Capital to rollover part of my 401k into a self-directed precious metals IRA. Though complicated, Joanne at Lear guided me through the process with a lot of good information, genuine concern for my goals, and a lot of patience. I was happy with the overall outcome.

This was our first time dealing in gold and silver. We didn't know what to expect. David ** was our account representative and was very thorough in helping us with our decision. We had lots of questions and Mr. ** answered them to our satisfaction.

I wanted to buy silver American Eagle coins for my sons for Christmas but was concerned whether they would arrive on time. Your customer service was very friendly and helpful and assisted me with information to wire the funds. They said this would give them time to get the coins to me in time. The coins arrived a few days before Christmas and it all worked out. They made a great Christmas presents packaged in wooden hand carved treasure boxes!

Everything (contact, delivery, condition of product ) was great, however I thought I was getting 2017 silver eagles & was surprised to see I had 2012 silver Eagles. Because this was my first buy in to the metals market, I can live with the misunderstanding. I do like the 2012s. I will be purchasing more in the future. I give it 4.875 stars.

As a new account member, I was very pleased with their knowledge and more importantly all representatives made me feel as if I was their only customer. They were patient in answering all my questions. This was quite different from another metals trader that I had contacted prior to working with Lear.

Great experience. Benjamin is friendly and keeps you informed of the status of your order. I would never buy gold or silver from anyone else. My gold arrived promptly and as promised. I am expecting my silver soon.

Always great experience but I have noticed that the delivery time seems to increase with each order. Used to take 10 days or so when paying by check. Now the order info says can take more than 15+ days to ship.

I feel like we made a smart investment with buying Silver coins as the dollar bill is shrinking every day in value. I hope to be able to trade our silver up for a profit later on in case we need it in our retirement or leave it for our Grandchildren. The buying process was pleasurable with a Benjamin, a Lear representative. He was very patient and knowledgeable.

I requested to sell my silver back and on a recorded line and asked to have the money wired into my account. I provided my bank information and instead my funds were mailed to me and did not arrive in time for my mortgage to be processed and will prevent me from closing in a timely time causing me to lose the house.

I was overall pleased with my purchase of silver Snow Falcon coins. I did get a phone call describing what I had purchased, however I was hoping to get a paper statement with an exact accounting. I'm not sure how others feel about such things but I guess I'm "old school" and like to be able to file something under investments.

Tony was very helpful for our purchase. Shipment arrived as it was stated. Tracking package was easy thru FedEx. An excellent experience. It was a nice touch to get handwritten thank you from Tony this week. Just amazing that a large corporation would provide this to me. Thank you.

Not sure if this investment will really work or not as I was told by bankers that when the stock market goes up, silver goes down. Not sure as I did not think Trump would be elected as president. So I tried something more secure but now I do not think the stock market will crash as our president is savvy on these matters. Lear Capital processed my order in a timely manner after they sent me an email saying they received the funds for my half ounce gold coin. It took them less than a week to process the order and it took about another two weeks before I got it in the mail. I would absolutely recommend Lear Capital to a friend or relative.

I just jumped in with both feet wanting to invest my IRA and protect that asset. The Lear Capital website was easy to navigate preliminary view looked good. I called them and it directed me to Dean ** very friendly guy. I felt comfortable talking with him. (I'm a person that is very cautious when doing things over the phone with money issues.) Dean did a great job of calming my concerns down. The only thing I personally concerned about is the invoicing part of the IRA set up cost and details are still not in my hands (What, Where, Who), a detailed invoice. I started a month ago and still no invoice.

American eagle gold coin - I was well satisfied with the customer service and the shipment of my purchase. I look forward to ordering again with this wonderful company. However I didn't receive my free $500 coin that they advertise on TV.

Our purchase arrived on 5/10/16. As of this date, other than the courtesy call shortly after the arrival of the silver, we have not had any correspondence from Lear Capital of any kind. I've been in the customer service business for over 30 years. Maybe over-reacting. I thought the $13,000 purchase would at least place us on an email / newsletter / price of silver report, etc. Guess not. I just called your 800 # and told due to call volume from potential customers, I (existing customer) would have to wait for a return call. You asked. I'm telling you, "how you did."

Everything went well with my order except they were supposed to deposit my 20 coins in parentheses bonus into my account instead they send them to me. Outside of that I was pretty happy with everything.

This is the third time that I have ordered from Lear Capital. I continue to come back because of how easy they make it to find and purchase the coins I want. Their website is very user friendly. I also continue to come back to them because they don't bombard your inbox with trash. I receive only a few emails most of which I find interesting and worthwhile. We set up to have the metals sent to our business address so that we would ensure that somebody was there to sign for the shipment. The idea being that somebody would have to sign for each shipment. However, the local FedEx shipment center sent them through the local post office so no signature was required at the final destination. We just had to pick the packages up at the package window at the post office. I suspect that nobody at Lear Capital has any idea how FedEx actually handles their business at remote locations. The conveyance was definitely not as secure as I had expected it would be. That said, we received all of the product in good condition and the proper amount per the shipping documents.

For the second time this year, Jody and her staff have did an excellent job handling my most recent transaction. It is a pleasure to do business with Jody. She keeps me informed and always is cheerful and full of good advice.

My purchase went smoothly as has a subsequent withdrawal against it. I did not give this 5 stars due to my fault. I invested in Silver about three days before the Brexit vote and I lost 15% at once, however it recovered as Tom said it likely would. Then Trump was elected and silver is down again. Few people saw these events coming.

The coins are exquisite! My husband is retired army, and he loves them. The only thing we DID not like was the "popcorn". Just kidding. He has type 1 diabetes, and he recently lost his wonderful mother, it was like a kid at Christmas! When we have the funds, he would love to get some gold. We called regarding changing our IRA over to silver. We were answered immediately and all our questions and concerns were met with extraordinarily insightful, professional and helpful information. In no time at all we were able to make a decision and make the transfer with little effort on our part. This company is first rate and we are more than pleased with the outcome.

I purchased silver and gold through an IRA with Lear Capital. I sent them $300,000. The recorded line clearly tells me I purchased $299,000 worth of silver and gold. I figured the money difference was what their fee was. They sent me NOTHING in paperwork - no transaction details, nothing. Seven months go by and I realize I've gotten nothing from them or the repository that was supposedly holding the silver and gold, so I ask for an online log-in. When I get logged in, I see my account is down $110,000, but silver and gold have gone up since the day I purchased. When I demanded an answer as to where my money was, one agent told me I had a 25% fee but another confirmed it was actually 33%. That was the FIRST TIME I had heard of this in any respect.

I have been very happy with all of my dealings with Lear Capital and Terry **. He answered all of my questions and concerns about the precious metals market. I was kept up to date with calls and emails throughout the purchasing, shipping and receiving procedures.

I asked that my order be shipped after Nov. 1, 2016 because I was out of state but it arrived while I was gone, and a person who was by my house signed for it. It happened that the person who signed for it was somebody I knew and they returned the package to me, but it could have been anyone. This upset me and I am leery of ordering from you again.

1 oz Gold American Eagle - I've ordered several times from Lear Capital and never had an issue. I'm very pleased with the easy user friendly process. Fast payment processing, fast delivery, and great protective packaging. I won't buy anywhere but Lear Capital.

Initial response and follow up until the final delivery of order was very good. However, after receiving the order, I had some questions and placed a call to my contact person, left message but did not get a return call. This happened twice.

Overall great service. From going online and ordering which was made simple and clear. To the tracking of the delivery of products. The only thing I didn't like was the wire transfer that was needed. I do not like mailing money through the mail so I was forced to wire the money. I was charged an additional $30 from my bank to complete the transfer. Besides that, once again great service and I look to continue with my investments with Lear going forward.

And, here spot sits at $1275.00, and they wanted me to sell my Falcons for $317.00. I should have stuck with my guy and bought the eagles. I know better. I've been buying and selling for 7 years, but got duped by this guy explaining how these will go up in value. Very deceitful to say the least. Stay away from this company. I'm sure there are better ones to work with.

I'm pretty satisfied with the overall experience. The conversations with Charlie were informative and confidence inspiring. If there is anything of concern since I made the purchase, it'd have to be a close to 30% charge for the service. This was not my first purchase with Lear, but was equally excellent in the care with which Craig ** answered my questions, processed my order, and made sure everything went as planned. Lear Capital is an outstanding company with thoroughly professional account executives and world-class customer service.

I believe your employee called it a "Bait and Switch". We discussed the spread and I believed that we had agreed on 2 to 3 percent for gold bars. Another employee called and started with another term that I believed meant spread at about 7 percent. I mentioned that we had agreed to 2 to 3 percent. He then told me that it would be 3.68 percent. Then he launched into recorded verbal contract. I had never realized it would be verbal business contract. In fact the first employee and I had discussed me signing the invoice and I thought that it would be a written contract with the signed terms and conditions that I had earlier signed and returned and the signed invoice. That does not seem to be the way it turned out and I never would have agreed to verbal contract of business transaction of this size.

I was fortunate to be connected to William ** on my first call to Lear. During that call and subsequent calls he has always been very generous with his time and counsel. I have confidence in his recommendations.

Treated very well by a good salesman. I feel gold and silver are important to have as our paper money is in bad shape, mainly because of excess government spending and debt not backed up by real money. We need to go back to the gold standard.

I was very satisfied in dealing with Cal **. He was very professional and helpful, and I would deal with him in the future, as well as recommend him to my friends that were in the market for gold or silver. My only concern in my experience with Lear Capital, was the delivery. I received my tracking number and everything, however, FedEx said they would deliver my item on Friday sometime before 8 P.M. Now, I realize that they had to have a signature for the delivery, but I wasted an entire day waiting for them. The delivery came at 5 P.M. Most companies that I deal with at least make it a morning or afternoon block. If I were still working and had to take an entire day off and then the delivery didn't come until the end of the workday, I would be very perturbed. Now, I seriously doubt that anything will come of this complaint, but keep in mind, you asked for my opinion and you got it!!!

On August 16, 2006, I purchased 17 one ounce gold American Eagles from Lear Capital. My account representative was Tom **. This was after initially contacting him several weeks earlier and was accompanied by several telephone conversations. I had only purchased gold coins once before and that was back in 2010. Throughout this process everything went well, but I just couldn't "pull the trigger" so to speak. During this time Tom did not put any pressure on me. I saw him as a consultant for an area that I did not have much expertise. Throughout this process he answered all of my questions, plus I gained a significant amount of knowledge about gold as well as silver (which we also discussed). In the end, I chose to make my purchase with Tom. The whole experience was pleasant and extremely professional. I would do it all over again. As well, I would not hesitate to recommend Lear Capital and Tom in the future.

At the time I ordered from Lear I purchase items from 2 other companies in a test run for service and quality. I got the shipment from Lear first, a week or so later, the shipment from # 2 and as of today, I am still waiting on the 3rd order. As of this date, Pierre has been good to work with and I liked his communication on my account.

I am extremely disappointed in Lear Capital. In my 60's as a new silver buyer I expected truth and transparency. Instead I got sold what was going to make my agent and Lear Capital the most profit. Arctic Silver Fox coins. 300 hundred of them. $46 each. Today I found them at $33. With spot near $20 and not being privy on how to sell it I think I'm going to lose on this deal. I wanted silver as part of my portfolio but I have to believe I was better off buying 1 ounce Maple Leafs. $ signs by Lear got me here. Be very careful what you buy. This is very disheartening. Sad really. Sorry I don't have order number. My email and phone are on file with ConsumerAffairs. Don't believe I would get a reply anyway.

Very bad experience. I have notes of what I was buying and a confirmation email from Lear Capital of gold and silver that I was buying. They did not send the correct amount silver to the depository. Email confirmation stated I was to receive 489 oz of silver falcon coins in 1 1/2 oz coins. They only sent 300 oz. I am having a hard time getting matter resolved.

Lear has resolved my complaint and was very concerned about my being upset and have eased my concerns.

Always enjoyed doing business with Lear Capital. Dino has always been helpful and takes the time to explain what I don't understand. I trust him and thank him for his expertise and the smooth way each transaction has been handled.

The only thing I have anything to say about is I don't recall anyone telling me what you charge as a commission until after the purchase was completed. I would not have invested through you had I known.
