Run don't walk. Talk about a scam rip off put in $9.307.50 on 9/11/13 in silver poplar bears 1 1/2oz was charged $54.75 each. On 12/31/2013 account was down to it $4,978.64. Then on 2015 I did not pay the $100.00 metals storage fee-DDSC and let's not forget the annual fee precious metal IRA fee of $75.00. So I forgot to pay it but don't fear the great people at Lear sold 16 of this great investment coins at the whopping price of $13.41 each. So let's see I paid $54.75 each, they sell them for $13.41. Wow. What a deal. All I hear from them is the same bull excuse. How this is a great deal. I don't know how they sleep at night.

To begin I'd like to share generally with Lear Capital and specifically any potential customers thinking of doing business with Lear Capital that I dealt with Mr. David ** and his assistant Denise. They were both patient, well informed, knowledgeable, and caring people. What wonderful representatives Lear Capital has in these two people. I was truly impressed and I'm not normally impressed by much these days. When either of them were talking with me they were fully engaged and only interested in me and what I was asking or saying. I want to take the time to thank David for the silver coins; they are truly beautiful. David **, you are truly a thoughtful gentleman of which I’m proud to call not only a dear business associate, but a friend. Denise, it’s been a pleasure to do business with you and David alike. I hope good things come to both of you now and always.

Richmond ** gave me very good service, was patient with me due to my lack of knowledge about investing or buying the real product. He explained everything to me to my satisfaction. I thank him for his help.

Recently Lear allowed me to swap some of the silver for gold coins at equal value... and Lear paid the shipping and insurance. I was very pleased with each of the individuals I spoke with. I have some knowledge of precious metals and felt that what I knew to be true was accurately presented. What I did not know was carefully explained. I felt guidance but never felt pushed.

Received my invoice showing that I bought coins to the amount of $9705.78. Clearly the invoice was not detailed. My online account however showed that the value of the coins was $5800. I HAD TO INSIST on an itemized breakdown. When I finally got the details, the commissions were $3900 or about 40% of my investment... Highway robbery. I should have known better.

Contact with agent = Great. Ability to understand & complete order = Easy. Making payment for order = Easy. Wait time for shipment = Less than most. Unpacking order = Disappointing. Poor packing attention. Someone was not doing a proper job and used faulty material. Also sending unacceptable GOLD coins.

Over a year ago I transferred over 500k to Lear Capital. David ** is their CEO. They told me that they were going to purchase Canadian Snow Falcons, 1.5 ounce neumanistic coins, and fed me the line of crap that they would appreciate faster than other metals, if I wait long enough. The next day my account was devalued by over 200k. I called them and was fed the same line of crap. Hang in there, they said.

Lear is fine and the time for delivery from the date of order was not too long. Yet, what I don't understand is, how the silver will rust over time. My having had silver in the past, it rust before too long. It wasn't until I began using, something called "Flambeau Zerust" strips, that rust has been prevented. Nor, do I know whether or not any rusted coins can be restored. Thanks.

I was thankful for the work that Lev and his group put in to complete my purchase of the silver grizzlies I made in my IRA account. The only thing I kind of thought wasn't correct was, I was to receive a 2% bonus which I thought Lev told me would be 18 - 1.5oz silver Grizzly coins but when I opened the package, there was only 16. So I took out the calculator and took 2% x 840 (the # of coins I purchased) and it came up as 16.8, which with the math I was taught in school, rounded up to 17, not down to 16. The only reason I didn't say anything was because by the time I actually got my IRA custodians to transfer the funds, the promotion was over. Now, that doesn't make it right, but with all the drama I've had in my life recently, it's just easier letting it go.

Service is very professional yet very personal and focused on providing individual service. It didn't hurt that they were local and allowed me to drop by their offices for a purchase. Will be doing future transactions with them.

I was sold primarily Silver because Lear told me it had the greatest potential for growth. Then Lear called to tell me I should exchange my silver for gold because gold now had greater potential. I was charged hundreds of dollars for the exchange which was NOT part of the conversation. Had I known of the exchange cost I would NOT have done it. When I called about the confirmation, I was told Lear would NEVER recommend investment strategy... HUH? They called me for the exchange, I did not approach them.

My experience with Lear Capital was great! I was able to enter a promo code and receive free shipping which is a big deal to me since shipping cost inflates what I would of had invested in the silver. If I could get free shipping on all my orders I would order every week.

I have made two orders in the very recent time frame. Both of my experiences were very good. The website is extremely easy and efficient to use. I did have a question it one time and requested somebody call me which they did very promptly. When I did speak with a representative as well they were extremely courteous and very helpful. They were very insightful and pleasant to speak with. As for the product being sent that was in great condition and they were very informative as to when to expect shipment and delivery.

I have been working with Tom over the last three or so years and he has consistently provided us with what we asked for and has not tried to upsell or aggressively try to get us to purchase any more than we are comfortable with.

Was a bit tedious getting in touch with a representative to process my order. After placing a number of phone calls, I received the response I needed in how to pay for my order. I wanted to wire funds, but was unable to do so and am still not sure how to do it. Paid with a check after transferring funds from my Capital One account into my PNC Bank checking account. Coins arrived as ordered and were nicely packaged.

First time IRA gold buyer and was taken advantage of. Was not give full disclosure until after automated acceptance phone call and then when received statement my account was down 1/3 of initial investment after I bought coins that were recommended by Dan... I was taken advantage of and cannot understand how people like this can stay in business. So upset with myself for trusting these people to be ethical... VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Bought first gold for my IRA. The spread was 29%. Cost @ $25000 now worth $16,000. Second purchase was 55 gold coins for $26,800. How stupid can you be? About 9 years ago I called Lear Capital to buy some ounces of gold. The price at the time was around $550 an ounce. I never bought gold for investment before this. When I called the Lear expert told me I am making a big mistake buying ounces and I need to buy gold coin a pre-1933 US in mint condition. I took his advice and purchased $60.000.00 in coins as 10 Indian dollars etc. I was told by the sales person that once gold price goes higher that I will benefit from that. Plus they be also increased in the value to trade these coins when gold reached about $1900 an ounce.

I paid for 2 coins and received something I had never even seen on the website. I was very disappointed as I read several reviews stating the same thing. I would not recommend Lear Capital for the purchase of precious metals or coins.

They delivered what was promised, some of the communication was not clear to me. I expected an invoice before I sent money. I would have liked to know any other options for investing in silver, like U.S. silver coins that are out of circulation if they are available or other options. Other than that I am pleased and will purchase more from Lear.

My order was shipped thru FedEx and because we could not be home to sign for it, they kept leaving notes stating they would try again. The response was no they would not do it but I could pick it up at their location. I took time off work to get the package picked up. All said and done the process was not that great.

I took a survey about 1-2 weeks ago and voiced my displeasure with my experience. Some of the things noted was that I felt a bit misled regarding the pricing and Lear's margin of profit on my deal as well as originally being promised free coins and free shipping of which I received neither. Also the paperwork you sign would take hours to read but they wait on the line while you sign, therefore they are well aware you haven't had the time to read the small print. I thought Lear Capital was a trustworthy company. The silver purchase that I made cost double the current market rate. I had expected some front end load of 10% or less. They never let me know the cost of buying the silver until at the end of the transaction they recorded the acceptance from me and buried the cost Clause within the recording. They played this recording back to me at 30%. I would've never agreed to this. Lear Capital reviewed it with me in advance of the recording. You ended up charging me $33 an ounce for silver versus the market for that date 11/10/16 of $15.74. The only issue I have is that the additional special program coins you provide to the purchaser and the coin(s) for the order sponsor is VERY slow in coming from my brother-in-law's order last summer. I have reminded Alex several times, but nothing has shown up yet. All of my orders themselves come very quickly.
